All in all, I only have 1 complaint with Walmart Money Card services; every time direct deposit would come, almost immediately after, several unfamiliar charges of various amounts ranging from $1.69 - $39.98 would also be processed. The thing is I have no idea nor had authorized any such various charges, and tried to dispute them but always with no success, and when searching for the reason and/or source to these charges, I only met a dead end every time with no answer or clue or even ever a cease of said "mysterious charges"... Maybe it was something ordered online? Maybe it was some membership subscription fee that I simply don't recall? All other documented transactions provided ALL the information one would need - but not these unidentified, "third-party" charges ... I've lost close to $250-$300 total in gathered, unidentified, non-traceable, bogus and ** charges all together.

I've had zero issues while being a Walmart MoneyCard holder!! Checks are issued every Wednesday at my job. How nice it is to get paid like clockwork a day early!!! I just now noticed the option to do mobile deposits. ALTHOUGH I think having to wait THAT long for the deposit to go though just wouldn't work for me at all. But nice to have that option!!

It was ok at first and now every time I withdraw money at s atm it charges me twice. It use to not charge twice. I don’t know why it started doing that. I do lounge getting my money two days earlier but what’s the point if I have to withdrawal fees.

Initiating direct deposit is easy. Retrieving funds is no fun. Not only do you have to pay a fee for each transaction with out discount at Walmart you have to wait in lines as there are NO ATMS. I also get have no idea where the rewards I get go. I am get message stating I’ve earned rewards but I don’t see them or know how to apply them to use. With all this said I love not being tied down to a over rated bank with ridiculous fees.

I have nothing negative to say regarding my money card. It's super easy to use/load/online bill pay etc. I highly recommend your services to others who want to opt out of traditional banking accounts. I use my Wal-Mart money card on a daily basis.

Card works great for what I need to do with it. I pay my small bill & cover the cost for my eating. It do for covering my month to month bills. The need to be covered without me have to check that it is done. I need to be able to get online to check what is going on; I have tried many times to check online but have had trouble every time to get in.

Your system is stupid. I can’t get my money because my birthday was put in wrong and I can't talk to a real person to fix it. Now I have to close my account. You basically stole 200 dollars from me. ** you.

I love this card sooo much. So easy to use. The fees are not bad.... And you get cash back at end of year for shopping at Walmart. Love it. Love it. I've recommended it to all my friends. I use it every day.

Using my card is so easy and fast not just at Walmart. I love the rewards too. My deposit is always on time and if needed so easy to run into walmart and add a little extra. I have never used it on an atm but getting cash back anywhere is easy.

I am very happy with the decision I made to get this card. I have the perks of a bank without the commitment and that give me peace. I also love having the app and that there are multiple ATMs to use.

I don't like that it costs me money to add money to my card even though i have $1000 auto drafted every month. And that it costs me to use a Wal-Mart ATM. I don't like having to pay fees to use the card.

I have had a great experience using my Walmart Money Card. It is convenient and easy to use. The cash back savings are wonderful. I can’t wait to get my cash back savings next month! I would recommend this card to a friend.

It does what I need it to. I like the fact I can't overdraw it like a bank account. I get direct deposit which makes me happy and the fees are minimal. It costs me less than 10 dollars a month and I can pay my bills online and have had no issues with it. I recommend it to my friends.

I really haven’t had any problems at all with my money. It has been excellent and efficient. This is a great service and account options. Direct deposits on time get paid before a holiday truly great. I’ve never been more satisfied with an account than with this one. Thank you.

I’ve noticed that the winners from the prize savings aren’t acknowledged. Is there really a chance of winning $1000 for keeping money in the vault? I would also be able to transfer more money in the 24hr period. I would also like to be able to withdraw more money daily.

My only objection is being charged a monthly service fee even though I have direct deposit. I would like to see a reduced or waived fee when you have direct deposit. This would be a real advantage to my using this card.

My overall experience has been great. Really like the early pay feature. It really helps to know my SSDI will be there a couple of days early. This was a big blessing during the recent holidays. I recommend the card to all my friends.

My Walmart credit card is everything I want it to be and to earn points using it is more than convenient. I couldn't ask for a better credit card. It's handy and worth it for anyone who's looking to have a credit card of their own.

I like the security of the card and the fact it is accepted anywhere. I also like that you can have direct deposit. The app is convenient and easy to use. It is also nice that notifications are sent when money is deposited.

The convenience and use my Walmart card is easy to use and very easy to understand the use of terms and agreements. I like that it give you options to stash, what a good way to budget and save. I like being able to transfer my check and the rewards of spending using my money card.

You shouldn't charge a maintenance fee because you don't maintain anything. Not really. Other than that I think the card is great. I have been using Green Dot for years. You also need to upgrade your cards with chips like most credit cards are doing.

I really like the automatic deposit. The only thing I don't like is paying the $3 to put money on my card. I really like the rewards program. I haven't had it a year yet so I am not sure how it works to use your rewards.

It's so convenient and easy to use. Everything from transfer of money to shopping online. My wife suggested it and like it a lot. Just need better notifications and ease of sign in options. You need to sign in way too much to check transactions.

Would be nice if the card worked with Apple pay. Also it's not supported by money lending apps. That being said, I really like getting my paychecks early and the waiving of fees since I have over 1000 dollars a month deposited.

The card is ok but it doesn't let use it at an ATM and doesn't let you know where you can actually use the card besides Walmart. It would be nice if the card would a list of locations where it can be used outside of Walmart.

Everything has been a great experience so far. I am beyond happy to have chosen my Wal-Mart Green Dot card. I couldn't be happier. I have zero complaints about the card, services or the phone app. My hats off to your entire team.

USE: The card functions as described and has been generally accepted by retailers without exception. Only one retailer charged a fee for a cashback transaction. Also used for internet transactions without exception. COST: The only concern is the ongoing cost of using this debit card. The reload fee and monthly maintenance amounts to approximately $100 a year (before purchase offsets) on activity of about $9000.

I hate that this card is considered a prepay card with some businesses such as rental car places and is not accepted. I also hate that I have to pay to put cash on my card. I also hate that there is a service fee charged if I don't load a certain amount every month. This is frustrating because none of the major banks do this.

I have enjoyed my experience with my card. I use it for all my banking needs! Thank you! I will continue to use Walmart for my money card experience! I would like to see better access to free ATM use in the future!

I don’t like the Walmart MoneyCard. I only use it because this is the only way that my dad can send me money. But I don’t like the fact that you guys take $5 every month. And to receive my money without deductions I have to reload $1000 to my card. That’s unnecessary. It just shows how money hungry you people really are.

So I have mixed reviews about your guys policies and such. Let’s start with the perks. I really enjoy getting my direct deposit 2 days early and I like that the fees are waived after a certain amount of deposits are made. The cons: No way to update name changes, only thing is to activate a new card on a new account which is pretty Inconvenient. I also dislike the lack of information from the transactions made and the fact I never received notifications about said transactions that were automatic and recurring that I didn’t sign up for. Also I have been trying to dispute a fee charges and I can’t find a way to do that every time I try to print the form the site freezes and your customer care chat doesn’t work well. I would appreciate you guys working with me to get my money back on all these said charges.

Very pleased with both of my cards. Have had them for some years now. They really come in handy for certain things. I would like to know about the savings account. I recommended the card to some friends and family.

I love my Walmart card. I save on in-store purchasing and a percentage of cashback on my Walmart purchases. I also ordered my daughter her own card. She loves it as much as I do. That was a great idea as far as adding family to the account.

I love my card never had any issues. Would recommend to anyone. I love that I get my paychecks in advance and that I do not have annual or monthly costs for carrying this account. And the ease of closing the account is great.

I enjoy my Walmart money card tremendously. It's easy and efficient. I have no troubles using it at stores and never had issues withdrawing money. I have two children and it is easier for me to use at pumps and drive-thrus. Thank you.

The reason I am such a big fan of the Walmart money card, is because it makes my life a lot easier to manage financially. I am able to consistently check my balance, see that my deposits are there and pay bills all from one easy place. Being able to swipe to see my balance without having to log in is great. I get paid a day earlier than everyone and therefore I mean easier to pay my bills.

I love the Wal-Mart money card. As long as you make enough monthly deposits, your monthly fee is free... Money gets deposited to your card right away, cash available right away, accepted from everyone just like a regular bank VISA or MasterCard... Recommend it to anyone.

The app transactions are not timed correctly. Hard to keep track of in and out transactions. A lot of time i have small charges to things I never used card on. I have to call and get fixed. Every time I call I have issues with caller not knowing English or know what I'm talking about.

No overdraft fees. Direct deposit is reliable and my check is always there on time. The app is easy to work and keep track of your money. All in all, I love having my card. Plus it's easy to load money on to the card if you need to.

I like the low check cashing fee and free direct deposit and that you are able to pull money out at the money center for free but wish there was an ATM option. Also wish there was an option for a joint account.

Get paid a day early and any purchase at Walmart earns you points and you get notified when the card is used. I would recommend it to anyone that I know. Just as easy as a bank account with overdraft fees.

I like the card and simple banking system and saving system. I enjoy looking up my account on my app. I love how the more I spend at Walmart the more I get back after 12 months. I would also like to take this time to say thank you for the service you provide me.

I have been having my card for about 9 years and it has never failed me... I love the customer service it offers. My new card always arrives on time and with no issues... I just wish one day they get a chip in them and where we can send money off the card to other cardholders...

I have tried for months to get WM to give me access to my 1772 card history. Calling 1-877-937-4098 and speaking with a person "CANCELS YOUR CARD!" The number 1-800-925-6278 isn't a good number for the Mastercard WM MoneyCard, only for the Discover or Capital 1 WM moneycards. When I try to access the card history I only can get the old canceled card on the website and I REALLY REALLY NEED THIS INFO!! I'd bet million $ that no one will read this and that if anyone does that there is no way in the world you will ever help me. I tried chat and emails and the phone only to have your middle finger shoved in my face. Thanks for nothing so far but I'm still hoping. Please take this serious and actually help me for once. I'd expect this inquiry into my experience is actually a sincere attempt to be helpful etc. so please help asap. Thanks.

I love this program. I get my pay quicker. So convenient to check and manage my account can stop activity on account with push of button. Where money goes in but none comes out. Also can transfer to saving or out in seconds. I feel I have full control of my money. I love this card.

To all consumer do not get Walmart MoneyCard, there are so much better options then Green Dot. I got a refund, 3 days pass money still pending. I use to use another prepaid card and it would take 8 days so I was cool. I will wait, 9 days pass and I call customer service and they say the money will be release in by Friday which makes 14 days and then, I asking her why it takes so long when payments are usually settled with in 3 to 7 days why 14, no explanation but what she taught to say and then she told me that money be release next Tuesday which makes 19 days almost a month to release pending transaction. I was upset, first it was Friday which is 2 weeks but now I have to wait additional 5 more days. The representative hung up on me and her name is Sig. Do not use this card, they are scammers, there better prepaid options, Walmart you should be a ashamed of yourself, that's you conduct business.

Well the only thing I don't like about my card is if it's not being used it put you in the negative so you have to keep 5 dollars at all times but because I use it for my job as a direct deposit I have to keep it but other than that I love it.

You make it absolutely impossible to request a new card or another card for my account unless they are under the age of 18. I wanted to get a card for my wife to be able to pay bills. Also my security strip on the one I have is going bad. I cannot use it at an ATM. Other than that I have been completely satisfied.

My overall experience using Walmart money card has been a great one. I would recommend it to friends.. I would like for there to be more ATMs nearby and replacement card offers.. Fees are reasonable as is the price. It would also be nice to have a card that had a longer expiration date.

Overall, I've had a good experience with it. I like that there's a vault and that I'm able to view my account balance without logging in. I do wish that there were more ATMs available with no fees, as well as no charge to put money into my own account.

The Walmart money card is great! I use to have mischarges on other cards on the past. Now that I have the walmart money card I dont have worry about that with Vault option. It's great, before I purchase I unstash the amount needed and it's as easy as that. Thanks for this great option!

Love the card. I love that I can lock and unlock my card. Stash money when I want. Only thing I don't like is the extra fees at ATMs. They are ridiculously high. Love the direct deposit. Could use another form or two for paying other bills by auto deduct, don't know if that's possible.

It's pretty good card. The five dollar fee kinda sucks but that's life. Wish there was a way to design your own card though. My favorite color is yellow so it would be cool if my card was yellow and my name and the card number like black.

Satisfied with this card. No problems. Most likeable feature is being able to view my transactions and card balance over my phone. I like using it at any atm and store that I’d like. Direct deposit for my jobs too.

Personally, I've had mixed experiences over the years. This isn't my first WMMC and I like the improvements that have been made over the years. There are a few things that I'm not happy about, such as no longer being able to order a second card, so my husband has to rely on my card instead of getting one of his own. I'm also frustrated that I can't update my address on the website. It's very inconvenient. I hate calling in because most of the reps I speak with don't speak English very well or have such thick accents that I can't understand half of what they're saying. Not their fault, but I feel like it would be better for those calls to be routed somewhere closer to home than wherever they go, just to improve communication.

When you try to find benefits for the car are too little no full description of the benefits. Also fee's for atm use even inside of the Walmart store, if you want to deposit money also you must pay a fee. No happy that all.

I think the card has been great. I like that you can earn money back from using it at Walmart. I would recommend it for others who have teenagers. I like that if you put a certain amount on your card a month it doesn't take the fees out, it helps to try and make a goal for your self.

I’ve had an overall positive experience using the money card! I love getting my paycheck early and cash back when using my card at Walmart or Walmart online. I just wish there was an easier more convenient way to transfer funds to another account or to send money!

I find it much easier than a checking acct because I cannot overdraw the card... I have gotten into incidents because of overdrafting checking accounts in the past, so the Walmart Moneycard is the only way for me to go!

Overall my experience with this service has been easy and enjoyable. However, I would like to see an overdraft feature. Sometimes I don't always have the funds to get something to feed my family and having a kind of cushion would definitely put my mind at ease. I use my account for everything from my tax refund to my payroll direct deposit.

I’m extremely happy with having the Walmart money card. Really like the stash feature. Wish it was easier to find out how to get a hold of transactions and ways to see who they are. Sometimes, really vague on who or what they are, otherwise, a great card and bank.

I've had great experience with the card. It is good to be used for direct deposit from employers and everything. Only thing I would possibly change would be the amount to load on to it for the monthly fee to be waived. Because there are times things happen to where you can't always make it.

I have a problem getting my money on time. I was guaranteed it would show up at midnight but it doesn't show until 8:00 the next morning so that the only problem I have that pisses me off. I would for it to have a chip, some places won't take the card.

I have had know problems with my card since I have had it and I have recommended these cards to my son and his wife because I like them. I will be getting another card in the next couple of years because this one will expire.

I'd say that my favorite part about your service would have to be the mobile app. It's banking made easy! Every time that I need to transfer funds over to savings, or vice versa it's always as simple as 1 2 3!

$5.00 per month x 12 = $60 per year fee. Seems rather high being that every time I load the card I have to pay a fee. Not seeing any value here. In addition, the 1% points for purchases is low compared to other cards I carry. All in all the card is too expensive.

It has worked very well for me. It's easy to use and with all of the new improvements that were just added, it's even more convenient! The MoneyCard provides significant value to me in my everyday life, which is what a solid product hopes/strives to be to all of us. MoneyCard is there!

This is a good way to get your money from the government. It was only a dollar to buy and put 20 on it. Came home, set up my account and just sat back and waited for my money to be put on it. I can use it everywhere and if I need cash back I can get it with my purchase.

Great and convenient for day to day use. My check gets deposited a day early every time without fail. I love the fact that if I lose my card or misplace it I can go into the app and turn the card off at any moment and if I find it all I have to do is go back into the app and turn the card back on which is amazing!!!

I like having this card. I get my paycheck 4 days earlier. I also like getting daily emails letting me know my balance. I like the fact I can put money aside in the vault. Just a great card all around.

I enjoy getting paid early and the convenience of the debit but I don't like the check function. It shows that money is being held but those funds can be used causing the check to be returned. Having a returned check charge is never fun.

Seems like anytime I want to pull cash off I am seriously overcharged. Monthly fees are just another issue a lot cards don't have anymore. But Walmart card does. Even when a business accepts visa sometimes it won't take my visa Walmart card. Thank you.

I love this card, it works well and I have never had any issues. I love the app that comes with it too because I am able to store money in a vault! Also like the fact that it only cost 5 bucks a month but is able to be waived if I have enough direct deposited!

I like my card, I like getting paid early but I hate the lack of ATMs available and hate having to go into the store to get money. There needs to be more convenient ways to get your money out. All in all not bad.

I love the card except when it comes to withdrawing money. I don’t like the extra fee that comes with it but besides that I have no issues with the card. Direct deposit works great and never had an issue using the card.

I like my money card except paying every ATM 3 dollars for cash is the only nitch. I am very satisfied with the money card other than those high ATM fee. I also feel like the cash back rewards at Walmart are awesome. Other than the ATM fees I have better use out of this than any bank that I have used especially with no overdraft fees ever.

I love using my Walmart card. I get paid 3 day before everyone else. The app works great. And I use the save features and get money back at the end of the year. Would definitely recommend it to others.

I love my card, especially with the protections it offers for my account and how it doesnt use a chip. However, I have found on multiple occasions it wont work in some areas. For example, my local Turkey Hill gas stations wont take the card at the pump. Building on that, it wont work on ANY pumps in New Jersey. There's also some online vendors that wont accept the card or direct deposit numbers for transactions. Otherwise, it's probably one of the best cards I have owned.

I have had the Walmart Green Dot card for over a year and absolutely love it, the lock card feature is a plus, swipe to see the balance without logging in is great and I get my direct deposit 2 days early. What more can you ask for, and I earn money every time I shop at Walmart in store or online.

Great services. No fees for every swipe or day to day use. Monthly fee is reasonable and fair. Deposit hit two days early. So that’s a big plus. I will in the future refer family and friends to use Walmart Money Card.

I’ve had a great experience with using the Walmart Money Card. I have my paycheck deposited on it, I can pay my bills with it, and have enjoyed using it. There are a couple of gas stations that I have to avoid because they don’t accept it, but other than that, I’ve been very pleased.

Member since 2012. My paycheck has never been late. And customer service is great. There was a fraudulent charge on my account from Dubai. I called customer service and they fixed everything that same day. They gave me a new account and card. And they deposited the money the next day. Great service.

Would have left a 5 star review if the deposits were steady. They are never deposited on the same day. Some days it can be 3 days early. Others 2 days and sometimes lately not early at. But other than that I really cant complain.

Think it's kinda crappy I have to walk inside to get gas... It won't let me purchase right at the pump have to walk. When I'm in a rush sometimes just isn't convenient. I do enjoy being paid 2 day earlier though that is amazing.

I have tried repeatedly to add my son to my card and have not been able to. Even called for help with no luck. This is the worst card I have had. I will not be using it. I will come up with a different plan for helping my son.

I have used these cards for several years...actually since 2011 and I love it. Private, secure, easy to use. I just wish they had a chip. Maybe new ones will. My family members also have cards and we use them exclusively for money transfers and payments. I am very satisfied with them. The cash back option really adds to the benefit as well.

I got card for the mobile deposit and now never use it. I understand having to wait for a week when depositing for first time but every time with same routing/account numbers that the first successful deposit had. I can't wait a week so I go see pay $3 and reload from my check at store.

Overall a good card service. Just need to be able to connect to more link things for cards. I should be able to link my card to cash app and any other resources to collect money not just Walmart resources.

It is a wonderful card. I spend most of my money at Wal-Mart anyway so let's get some cash back!! Not to mention loading and unloading money to and from the card is super easy. Direct Deposit early is also totally worth it.

Love my Walmart Money Card.... definitely think everyone should have one. It's convenient... I get my checks 2 days early and I have the option to save in the money vault. The only thing I would change is the daily amount of cash I can withdraw from the ATM. Otherwise love the walmart money card.

My experience with this card has been Amazing, I honestly enjoy getting paid 2 days early. Thank you Walmart. The card accepted at all my favorite stores. And getting cash back is so easy to do. I just wish I could transfer money to other people without a Walmart Card.

I have had excellent service using my card. I have never any problems. I also really like the Stash feature. I use it as savings account. I also get my payroll deposit 2 days sooner which is always nice. I use my card at Sam's Club, Walmart and Murphy USA Fuel Center. I get cash back. Cant beat that.

It's easy to use and it's easy to move money around especially sending money and receiving money to/from friends and family for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. The vault is nice for me cause I can instantly transfer money if needed.

The 1000 limit has been a problem for me. When I want money it is for major purchase and often more than 1000 but I have tried to make it work. I do have a second account now with 5/3 Bank for those situations.

I don't have any problems with my card. I gotta say I like getting paid a day early. I also earn money for using this card. It's so nice that my fee gets waived if there is enough money Deposit in a month.

I have money troubles with banks in the past. This is my 2nd time having a Walmart MoneyCard. It works great for me. I only wish I had a chip instead of just a magnetic strip for usage. And I wish that programs like Venmo would accept it for deposits. Also mobile deposit would be great. And no fees to reload it at stores.

I like it. Some people I tell about it like it until I tell them that you have to pay 3.00 dollars to load money on it and they tell me that the card they have doesn't charge you to load money on it. I love that I get money back from buying stuff at Walmart.

I love my money card! And the cashback option! I would highly recommend to anyone that doesn't want an actual bank. The only issue I have is there's no free atm to use, Sheetz used to be free but now it charges. I use the app on my phone but unless I go to Walmart, I can't get cash back without a charge!

Love the simplicity of getting my direct deposit and the app is a plus. I can see my balance and also my transactions. I used to bank with US Bank. Hidden fees used to mess my plans up and sometimes even took my money to the point I use to overdraft and get bigger fees. With this card I control everything and there is no hidden fees. Love it. Very good. No troubles using. Wish there were other fee free machines. I hate that I have to go into a Walmart to save fees. I do enjoy that I am getting paid sooner. This card has bee real handy and useful.

I love my Walmart moneycard. I have been with them a while now. I love the app service, it's very easy to use, I love the locking of the account. It's very useful. I also love the privacy I have that no one else can get into my account.

I have had a good experience using Walmart Moneycard. However, my only concern is the lack of fraud prevention, monitoring services, and options for self monitoring. Also, the poor transaction history format, showing minimal information. If these things could be upgraded and fixed, I believe this would be a superior option to traditional banking.

I really love the convenience of going to Walmart and depositing the entire onto the Pre-paid Money card. Plus, the vault or move/save feature seems to be a nice way to budget and protect savings. I would like to see a better protection option such as a chip but the on/off feature thru the app works well if you lose or have your card stolen. Thanks.

I like the Walmart money app. It's very easy to use. Easy to check your balance daily notifications. I also like that you can get your check up to two days earlier. That's very useful. All in all it's a great thing to have. It's like your own personal banking system. The only problem the IC is customer support. That's the only problem I've ever had trying to report fraudulent transactions or just contacting them.

End of last year I tried using my card to pay for services on my vehicle. I was declined 3 times and upon all 3 times I was charged $40. None of this money either the shop or myself ever saw. Other than that I love the service. It works. It's fast.

The people that call themselves “specialist” and “specialist supervisor” were absolutely the WORST customer service representatives I HAVE EVER dealt with. I was hung up on by the first person, sent to the automated system by the second person after I told them that the system wasn’t working correctly, and put on hold for 15 minutes multiple times by the third person who told me that there was no one else I could talk to about my issue. After being put on hold 2 more times for extended periods, another person claiming to be the “specialist supervisor” came on the line, kept trying to talk over me, and the. Hung up the phone. Awesome Job Walmart!

I use my Walmart Money card for direct deposit and everyday purchases. The cashback feature and online vault are a bonus as well. Overall happy with the use and function of this card. Great for people who don't do well with traditional banking.

So far it has been great! I love the notifications and the App! Also since I’ve been getting direct deposit it’s absolutely awesome to get my money two days early! The only thing I don’t like is that even though I get direct deposit some places still only recognize my card as a prepaid card instead of a bank card.

Why is it I get charged an extra $2.50 every time I take money out of ATM when I’m already paying FEES to get the money out? That is just ridiculous and costing me more money. I can’t afford to have taken out.

I think that after a certain amount of time that charging a fee to load cash or checks onto the card as a reward to loyal customers. It would be great to do that. Also, to be able to have choices of favorite sports teams.

I love it. Never have any problems and using the app is very helpful and amazing. Also you can use the Vault to put money to the side and I get my check a day early. I'm glad I have this card and I recommend it.

My experience with Walmart card is great. Wouldn’t trade it for nothing. I’ll recommend using it. I’ll never switch cards. Good for all kind of deposits. It’s good that you can add money. All my deposits goes to Walmart card.

It's easy to obtain a card and maintain an account, unlike with banks or credit unions. I would and have recommended getting a Walmart MoneyCard to people I know. I wish it were easier to change my address though. Thanks.

The card was very easy to use & was great for direct deposit. However, I stopped using the Walmart Money Card because I disagree with Walmart's indirect giving to Planned Parenthood. Due to their indirect involvement with this organization, I aim to cut all ties with Walmart and thus stopped using Walmart Money Card. I previously used this card regularly and had no problems with direct deposit, but Walmart has lost my business.

Easy to use though reloading can be trying. There is no way to load checks other than direct deposit. It is an inconvenience that should be addressed. Plus reloading at a Walmart you still pay the reload fees even though it is a Walmart Money Card. Other than that, I have had no issues with my account or card.

My card had broke. Asked to get a new card. Was not informed that they deactivate your account and they said 7 days my card would arrive and they keep moving the date up. I have had no access to my paycheck. Can not pay my bills. Customer service is a joke. Asked to talk to management and they would not transfer me. How is it legal to hold someone's funds without access. And why is my account deactivated before my card is even printed or sent.

I personally liked getting my check early but there were some charges that got charged on my card that I never really understood why... I'd know how much money I spent plus the charges. If there were any at that time would be there was always like 40 to 50 dollars took out then I'd not know why.

I absolutely love my Walmart money card. I has very been using the service for nearly 10 years now and recommend it to anyone who doesn't use a traditional bank. My direct deposit from work, my tax return, both can go directly into my card. I highly recommend the walmart money card!

Love that I can use the card for my direct deposit, I can use the card for purchases at locations other than Wal-Mart, was very easy to apply for and receive the card, and also I can receive money back at the end of 12 month period.

Love this card! It’s like having an actual debit card without the hassle of banks. Only thing I do not like is the $3 deposit fee to deposit money at Walmart stores or a withdraw fee of $3 at banks with a $2.50 charge on my account.

Pretty good experience just trouble with certain companies accepting the account for online payment with the checking acct number. Otherwise has been great! Get paid a few days ahead of paycheck. Easy to use, convenient most of the time. Helps me not overdraw my account and I earned savings.

My experience so far has been amazing. I love that I can put money away for saving. I also love that I am able to enter for drawings as well as receive money back for my purchases. The direct deposit works perfect as well as the notifications.

I Love the Walmart money card. Would like to be considered for a line of credit somehow through the card. I don’t like the monthly fees but hey I guess you guys have to make money somehow. I’d just like some option to help build credit.

My only real complaint is that the app doesnt show the balance after each transaction. Makes it harder to check for accuracy. I constantly feel that I'm missing money, and have to get a calculator to check.

I love the fact that I can keep up with what I spend and when I spend it. And the "savings" account works wonderful. The only thing I can ask is you make it easier to put a check on the card without charging the cashing and placing it on card fee.

I like them Walmart money card mostly. The only thing I don’t like is that you can only take out a certain amount per day. I should be able to get to my money when I need it. But other than that it was very easy to use. And I also like the money back if you shop at Walmart.

This card has worked perfect for all of our needs. I have my payroll direct deposited, pay all of my bills and do all of my online shopping with this account. Even booked and paid for hotel rooms and rental cars. Only downside is a rental car place can not put their $100 hold on this card because it is prepaid. Otherwise great with no other issues!

This card has been absolutely wonderful. I use it for work deposit and it’s been the best. Beats the bank for sure. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. Walmart bank card is the best. Going this route has saved me from bank account and any problems I’ve had.

I love the cash back and the convenience of adding money at any local Walmart and bonus. They are open up until 10 am. I love my card. Would recommend this card to anyone and I have I even use it for my small business transactions. Very dependable.

I use the WalMart MoneyCard for direct deposit for my part-time job. It allows me to keep my two streams of income separate and makes it each for me track my spending. It is very convenient and easy to use. I love it and would definitely recommend it to a friend is asked.

I would refer a friend to this card. Love how if you have a problem customer service helps. When you need to pull off money you can go to Walmart and it dont charge you for taking your money out. Loading the card is very easy.

The use of the card is easy. To load cash on it is very difficult! If you have direct deposit, that's good. But to load it is really difficult! Because of that I gave the card three stars. Please work on loading the card to make it more worth while.

When they lock down your card while you are on vacation and deny your purchases without telling you and them make you wait for over an hour to get it back working is horrible!! I have never been more ticked off than when that happened. I am still waiting for the call from a Supervisor. They were supposed to call me within 4 hours... and it had been over 2 weeks.

I love my card and your services. I just wish I didn’t have to cancel my card to receive a new card. My card is not lost - just old and I need a new one but was advised I would have to cancel this one.

I wish that I didn’t have to pay atm fees or have a monthly fee. No matter the atm in or out of market I get charged 2.50 to 4.50 per transaction. With the monthly fees... as much as I use my card I shouldn’t have to pay fees.

I love the card just wish I could use it for payday loan in the app store. And that it didn't have ATM fees on the card. Worst part is you just take it. You don't show anywhere that you did take it either.

Great customer service. The only thing that I don’t like is that sometimes my direct deposit will load on a Monday and other times it’s on a Tuesday evening. I just wish it would go in on the same day every pay period.

I am using the ATM listed as one that would not have fees and I am being charged $2.50 each time. Why say there are no fees with the atm list that you provide when there is one. Not right. Very misleading.

I've been using Walmart MoneyCard for six years now and I haven't had a problem.

I have had my Green Dot card for about 5 years. I’ve never had any issues ever. I always use my Walmart card for shopping and taking trips. It was very helpful. I’ve always gotten money packs from the 7-Eleven to Load funds to my card with no issues ever ever. So 3 months ago I bought $150 money pack from the 7-Eleven. I waited about 45 minutes and try to load it to my Walmart Money Card and it wouldn’t load. So I went on about my day, did my shopping, continue on and ran my errands and then later on that evening, I went again to try to load my money pack it again and it wouldn’t load two hours later.

In APRIL of 2019 I bought a 100 dollar Walmart money card. Since then I haven't been able to use the card because they can't verify my id. They also won't accept my American passport. Call after call, still can't use it. All I want is my money back at this time. How is this legal? Corporate never calls back and "they don't have a number for me to call" to speak with corporate.

I would give ZERO stars if i could. I liked using the card up until this point. I receive my direct deposit from the same company, the same day of EVERY week. This week there's no deposit, nothing pending and I have already checked with my employer and it has been sent. I have called back with the tracking number for my deposit and the customer service was of zero help. We live paycheck to paycheck, I need my money. I cannot get to work tomorrow now because I have no money for gas. How could you do this to people that rely on your services. There has been no change with anyone or anything so there's no reason my money is out there somewhere and no one knows where it is.

We like our Walmart MoneyCard and we've had it for years. I don't like all the bank fees and I don't like the fact that some banks, if I get in a number of checks in 10 days, they will clear the biggest check first, no matter what order they came in to see if they can get as many fees as they want. And I don't have to worry about that with my Walmart MoneyCard. I do the direct deposit and I also like the fact that I can't be charged an overage fee. I'm used to the Walmart MoneyCard that I had but when I went to get another one, they changed it. I went with Green Dot Bank, the bank used for the MoneyCard, and got one of their accounts instead.

I did a lot of business with Walmart. I saw the MoneyCard in the store and using it is a lot more convenient. There are plenty of reload stations and I get my stuff a little faster. Also, the fees seemed to be decent.

I've been a customer of the Walmart Money Card since November 2010. Every couple of years my account gets hacked and I'm still a loyal customer. Once for over $900. This time $140 to a company with no website and when I googled the company the results said the company may not exist. A clear indication that this was a scam. Walmart decided against my claim and send a super thick copy of my transactions with a letter that said basic nothing. I am so discouraged with continuing my business with this company. I believe I deserve a more thorough investigation and more respect than what I've received.

Through consumer resolution, I was able to understand and work through this issue with Walmart Green Dot Money Card. They were professional and courteous throughout the whole process. Thank you.

My card was blocked & when I called the customer care line I was told by the automated system to go to walmart.com/documentupload to verify my identity. I went to the site to do it and I entered my card # and when I clicked on continue nothing happened. I tried it several times and the same thing occurred. I called customer care and cant speak to a human, I even went to 2 different Walmart money stores and was told that they couldn't do anything for me & that I had to call the customer care line & gave me the same number. There's no option available to speak to someone who can help me. Walmart being such a big corporation, I thought they would have better customer care, especially for people who are putting their own money on a card only to be denied access to it and not have an option to fix the issue. I need some help please, I have a couple thousand dollars on the card that I need ASAP!

My wife purchased a Walmart MoneyCard on Dec 6, 2019 for my son for a Christmas gift and put $100 on it. My son tried to use it Jan 3, 2020 and it had expired and the local Walmart said they could not do anything and to call the number on the card. When this number was call everything was automated and could not talk to a real person. Now it looks like we may lose the money put on it. I am very disappointed and cannot understand why Walmart does business with a company like this.

My son purchased these cards as Christmas gifts for the family thinking the recipients could just go to Walmart and purchase what they needed. The packaging does not make it obvious that these are for establishing a bank account that has fees to use the card. This made these gifts a real pain to redeem/use and of much less value than they were intended. We are very disappointed with these cards.

We were going to use the Walmart Money Card for our grandson who turned 18. It has been nothing but a nightmare-they wouldn't do it with his social security number because at 18 that is all he has-then we did it under his dad, wouldn't send to our post office box. We don't have a mailbox because of theft were we live in the country. So that didn't work then we tried again this time it wouldn't take my son's social security and he has had a walmart card ever since they started --this isn't worth it. We went with something else. So disappointed in Walmart. This kid is going to be away at college and using it and there is no solution. Don't bother with this card.

I bought a Walmart MoneyCard as a gift for one of my step kids so that I could put money on it without giving them cash. I have one for myself as well and I love it. I earn points by using it at Walmart and I like the moneyback. I do direct deposit and I also have the app on my phone where I do everything right on there.

I spoke to a rep from Green Dot. They are open M-F. Call them directly for issues so that you can have them resolved appropriately. I am happy they took my concerns to heart and finally called me and are going to take care of this.

I was told I could no longer do business with them. I drained the account and destroyed the card. Someone then credited $750 back to the account. I have requested a new card or a check for the balance, many times. They no longer respond to my emails. This case is two years old. This is so wrong. That $750.00 belongs to me, not them.

I use my MoneyCard to pay bills, make online purchases and do direct deposits. I use the reload locations.

Worst...and I mean ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have EVER had in my 40 years of life. Bought card. Used card online next day. Tried to pay 500$ on a 506$ item. Website said payment declined. Ok, so next day turns out the money is off my card. Merchant says payment was declined on his end. Call cust. Service. Literally begged for 5 calls and over an hour. Begged to speak to a supervisor. Was hung up on twice. Lied to every time I called. Apparently there are zero available supervision in the entire place. So my $500 was declined. According to the merchant it was declined. But my money is gone. And no one seems to care to help. I got a lot of "Im sorry to hear thats" and a bunch of "I understand your frustration." But no actual action. Will not be trusting $1 of my hard earned funds with this card again.

I have had a Walmart debit card for several years. It became my primary banking source following some fraud issues. I have such trouble getting a person there to speak to. My purse was stolen on Dec 22. I called at 815 am on the 23rd. New card ordered, my account is frozen. They provide online tracking, it states new card to be delivered on Jan 6th. The card is at the printers it says. Granted there are 2 holidays falling in the delivery time. Minus those 2 days it shouldnt take until the 6th.

I had 2 charges on my card that were Not authorized by me. Walmart Money Card customer service says nothing they can do. That I need to contact the merchant the charts I made the charges. I contacted them. They issued a refund. They gave me a referral ID number to call Walmart back so they can put the money back on the card and they said they have to wait 10 to 14 business days. Do you not care about the customers customers and at their problem obviously.

Worst customer service I have ever received!! My card information was used to make a fraudulent purchase. Issue was reported December 14, 2019. Reps have done very little to help, are unable to explain the dispute processes and denied my claim (only found the claim was denied because I contacted them). I was then Referred to the vendor in which the purchase was made. BEWARE USE OF THIS CARD. In the event you require assistance YOU WILL GET THE RUNAROUND FROM OUTSOURCED REPS THAT HAVE DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING ENGLISH.

I have been a Walmart Money Card holder for about 3 years had no problems until 12/14/2019. I checked my card balance a company called SendPulse had taken 100.00 dollars out on 12/13/19 and another 100.00 dollars on 12/14/19. Contacted customer service 12/14/19. Was told it would be taken care of and I would get a email in 10 to 14 days. I contacted customer service on 12/16/19 to request new card. Told card would arrive in 7 days. 10 days later no card. Asked to speak with supervisor. Advised they would call me in 4 hours. No call. Called back. Talked with supervisor. Was told no message had been left for them to call me and no new card had ever been ordered. And that my claim had been denied.

Charged a 5$ Monthly fee on my active debit account for different old inactive card I used to have. Was told the fee is due to inactivity which leads me to think that Walmart is trying to charge fees for inactive cards on an active debit card accounts. I have been ignored by customer service and told that this fee is accurate when I have photos of my account saying the fee will be waived in 27 days if I deposit 88$ in that time frame. Sooo I’m being charged for not using an old card on my current active debit card. I do not recommend this card. I plan on removing all my funds switching to Chime. I hate the experience I have had with this stupid card and a company as big as Walmart or Green Dot should have their stuff together.

At the time when I couldn't get a bank account due to situations I had in my life and I needed a place for my check to go to as well as to make some online billing easier for me, I learned about Walmart MoneyCard. I've used them off and on for a couple of years, and I've had the the current card I use for over a year now. I have been reloading it at my closest Walmart.

I was able to get resolutions to the issues I was having with my account.

Thanksgiving morning, I received an email stating a $500 donation was given to Re-elect Trump email address **, it was actually a transfer to another Moneycard acct. This was not authorized, I don’t have any idea who this person is and I want to file charges against his person. My claim was denied stating it was authorized, I asked what was investigated to come to this conclusion, to no avail. I am not a Trump supporter, have had this account 6 years with no issues. I do not understand how this can happen.

So I made a dispute claim about a month ago walmart gave me a temporary credit. Then after that I received a letter in the mail stated that my claim was granted and the provisional credit is final to wake up to being -93.45 because if Walmart money card. I am not sure what exactly is going on but I wish I could have been given the truth before they took my money.

I have had my card for about 2 years now. I redeemed my cash rewards the first time December 22nd 2017 and it was great. Here it is December 23rd 2018 and it still says 11 out of 12 months completed and no access to cash back and whenever you contact customer service no one knows anything and can’t see anything rewards related... I will be closing my card out. Very disappointing that no one can answer any questions and no sincerity!

Bought a prepaid MasterCard through Walmart site. Went to use, no money. Went to Walmart Customer Service with card and receipt.They said to call number on back, which I did. I spoke with someone from another planet, wanting photos of back and front of card, back and front of driver's license, plus the emailed receipt forwarded to them. I said, "You are crazy," had to go to bank and dispute charge which was only thing that worked. Vanilla Company is a huge SCAM!!! Please don’t use, and have no clue why Walmart uses them. Disgusting.

I've been a loyal Walmart Money Card holder for 8 years and just recently I had unauthorized transactions that pop up at random. I can't get any response from the transaction dispute department. No one has contacted the police to get information about the case and Walmart has denied my claim when clearly someone has been hacking my account.

I am so angry. Today at 12:49 pm I went to my local Walmart and loaded $440.00. I was to fly to New York City. My card was declined. I called into Walmart Money Card customer service for 3 hours. My whole day was ruined. The flights to NY following my missed flight were double the price. When I called and demanded to speak to a supervisor I was told no. I am so angry! This is unbelievable. This is robbery. You cannot take people's money and just hold it for no reason and give no answers. Who is going to pay for flight?

My family and I are traveling and stopped to get a Hotel room. I was informed I needed a debit card. I ran to the closest Walmart and loaded my card with all my money. I went back to the hotel 20 minutes later and was told my card declined. I called support and took 35 minutes to get a human. Then I was told there was system failure and they don’t know when my money will be on my card. So now no hotel no gas money no food money. Ruined vacation. Thanks money card. Isn’t first time they failed me but will be last.

My son and my daughter-in-law have a Walmart MoneyCard so it's really convenient. I pay the bills and that’s it, but it has made it a lot easier to do that online and send my son money or he sends me money. I'm able to track my money responsibly, and definitely during Christmas time. I usually get my checks two days earlier than it's supposed to be.

This card won't validate my identity, so I can't use it online which is one of the main reasons for getting it. The app says I have to log into the Walmart MoneyCard site (which I am logged into) and won't work. I've tried getting ahold of them through email to no avail, and the phone only goes to a automated system with NO TALK TO A HUMAN option.

Over the last few months I have had my direct deposit delayed several times. The first time I called customer service they tried to blame it on payroll at my job, stating that they release the funds as soon as they receive them but after getting a trace # and talking to several people at the HR department we established that the deposit had been sent on time like all the other deposits. At this point Walmart had no explanation other than "We have no information at the time but we are working on it."

I mainly use the card if I need to pay a bill like my rent. I also use my card to put money on the phone, so my wife can call me, and I use it for paying my cellphone bill. I talked to a friend of mine that works at Walmart because when I first got the card, there were certain ATMs I wasn't getting charged an ATM fee for, and then all of a sudden, I started getting charged. I asked her about it and she said that changed. So now, whenever I need to pull money off my Walmart card, I go right to Walmart and do it that way.

I have been using the Walmart money card for a little over 4 years... It worked great, loved it until recently. Someone apparently got a hold of my debit card info and charge $4 and some change to start a subscription for reality tv. Well $4 may not seem like much to the people who work in customer service for Walmart money card or Green Dot, but it’s the principle of the matter. I disputed the transaction, and after thorough investigation they said that my dispute was denied. This to me means that anyone can get into your account and there’s nothing they will do about it!! No type of security for your hard earned money!! Yeah it may have been $4 but that could just been a test run.

I like the card a lot. I get direct deposit, so I get paid a day early versus the other bank that I was with before. On the app, I could keep up with all my transactions, what’s pending and what's already processed. I can keep up with the reward, like the cashback from when I spend money in-store with the Walmart card. I also use the reload locations and Walmart is five minutes from my house.

My check is applied to my account on a Thursday, on 11/21/2019. @8am my check was deposited an alert hit my phone that a $338 transaction was made at an atm. I'm still home so I called the number on the back of the card. While on the phone another transaction of $103 was done. I stated to the customer service rep. that I was home and not making these transactions. She stated that I had to wait 10 days for the transaction to process and she also advised me to go to the nearest atm to withdraw the remaining of the money that was in my account. Went while she was on the phone. Couldn't withdraw due to daily limit so she advised me to go to Walmart money center and take the rest off my card.
