    I recently purchased a new home using Veterans United, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience—especially working with Tim **. From the very beginning, Tim was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me through the home-buying process. Buying a home can be stressful, but Tim made everything simple and easy to understand. He was always available to answer questions, kept me informed every step of the way, and made sure everything stayed on track from application to closing.

    What stood out most was his dedication to customer service. I never felt like just another client. Tim truly cared about helping me achieve my goal of homeownership and went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and stress-free.     Evan ** and his team were amazing from start to finish. My wife and I were first time home buyers. We thought we would rent forever. Not only was the response to my application quick, it was also stress free. As someone who has never done this before, I believe I asked some stupid questions and sometimes the questions would come to me the middle of the night. The team did not seem frustrated or take a long time to respond. I cannot recommend this company or the team who worked with me more. It did not feel like I was working with a business, it felt more like working with a family. A million thanks to Evan and his team!

    Honestly I was worried going into the process as a first time buyer but everyone was so helpful through it all! Schandler and Rachel were super helpful through the process and were always honest with me about everything. I had a tight deadline I had to be at and they 100% pulled through for me. And thank you so much to the people I didn't get to talk to that helped with the loan. It means the world to me and my family that I can finally give my kids the stability I've always wanted them to have. I will never forget what y'all have done for me.

    Incredible: the best word to describe Jeremy and his team. My house hunting journey was a long four months. Lost so many homes trying to use a family friend realtor. But, Jeremy was supportive and responsive even after work hours to keep me moving forward. Multiple approval letters within minutes of requesting them; phone calls with advice and guidance; and finally, an aggressive realtor to get the job done! Veterans United has perfected the app and saved me time and money by providing thorough instructions for each step. I just can’t be happier with the results. They are truly veteran friendly and dedicated to success. After 23 years of service and more than 20 houses, I am finally home.

    First-class experience. Nick and Anna and the rest of the team worked hard for us. We could have closed 2 weeks early if we wanted to. The process is very streamlined and efficient. I felt over-informed every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend to any Veteran thinking of buying a home.

    I'm a veteran and I went to Veterans United Home Loan for a Townhouse I was looking to purchase with my son. I had to do a conventional loan because they told me I could not use my VA benefits when purchasing a home with any but a spouse. Because I was purchasing with my son I could not use VA benefits. So this was my first conventional loan. VUHL had a program to give a separate Downpayment loan. I was asked to put down $5000 and was told this money would go to the Downpayment. In the end the title company used my money for the closing costs even though I had a deal where the seller was covering closing costs.

    In the end none of my $5000 went to the downpayment loan. Also, I had less then 20min to review the final docs because I was out of state for the closing and VUHL was late getting me my paperwork. I'm on a fixed income. I am a Disabled Vet, and I feel very ripped off. Dan ** was my loan officer. Even if this is my mistake because I never did this kind of loan before, I don't understand why they said this money was going one place and then it went somewhere else, Oh and they profit from this.

    The only reason the rating is lower is because of O'Neil our real estate agent. The rest of our staff Brandon, Doug and Desi were outstanding to work with during our home buying process. O'Neil was strong at the beginning of the process, particularly when it came to scheduling showings, building rapport with the sellers, and understanding our needs as buyers. However, several important details were not effectively communicated to the sellers or properly reflected in the contract documentation.

    This led to significant complications, including an unnecessary overlap of rent and mortgage payments for a month, despite our clearly expressing the importance of coordinating timelines to avoid that situation. Additionally, the washer and dryer were not included in the contract, an oversight that created further issues. He also failed to include the whole-house water softener system in the appliance section of our initial offer.

    We were also disappointed with the handling of repair negotiations and documentation. The initial repair concerns we identified were not fully included in the first repair request draft, and it took several revisions before all of the repairs we considered most important were properly documented and presented. We felt we had to repeatedly review and correct documents to ensure our priorities were accurately represented. Furthermore, we felt that we had to continually push for communication with the sellers regarding repairs and advocate for more significant issues to be addressed before closing. We expected stronger negotiation on our behalf concerning both repairs and contractual details.

    While O'Neil demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and was attentive during showings, the repeated omissions, documentation errors, and lack of proactive advocacy throughout the transaction created unnecessary stress and complications during an already complex home-buying process. It was clear that once we went into contract negotiations on a home that O'Neil was only concerned with closing on the home as soon as possible to obtain his commission.

Joel and his team were amazing to work with, they eased my mind when I had worries, reassured my doubts and were completely open and honest every step of the way.     Waited over 30 days for a refund check from overpayment of taxes that was supposed to be mailed and never was received. Called. Was told to send a direct deposit slip in. Did that, called to make sure it was received, it was. Everything was all set. A week later I get a call that the form wasn't good enough. Email a voided check from the same account as the direct deposit. The "Escalation Team" should all be Fired. Useless.
