The only reason the rating is lower is because of O'Neil our real estate agent. The rest of our staff Brandon, Doug and Desi were outstanding to work with during our home buying process. O'Neil was strong at the beginning of the process, particularly when it came to scheduling showings, building rapport with the sellers, and understanding our needs as buyers. However, several important details were not effectively communicated to the sellers or properly reflected in the contract documentation.

Outstanding experience with the whole process. Joel and his team were amazing to work with, they eased my mind when I had worries, reassured my doubts and were completely open and honest every step of the way. I would highly recommend this team to any of my fellow veterans. Extremely thankful to have worked with Joel, Lindsey and the whole Veterans United group. First we were strangers, but closed as family. Thank you for making a dream come true.

Kenny ** was extremely attentive and thoroughly covered every detail. Very personal and broke things down into layman's terms.

As a Gold Star wife it was an emotional time purchasing a new home without my husband and I was hoping it wouldn't be too overwhelming. I can honestly say that everyone involved at VU made this process pleasant for me. Everyone was professional and attentive to my questions or concerns and always made me feel at ease. I really appreciate everything you all have done for me!

Waited over 30 days for a refund check from overpayment of taxes that was supposed to be mailed and never was received. Called. Was told to send a direct deposit slip in. Did that, called to make sure it was received, it was. Everything was all set. A week later I get a call that the form wasn't good enough. Email a voided check from the same account as the direct deposit. The "Escalation Team" should all be Fired. Useless.

The whole process was made so easy because of Brad T. And Amanda **! They worked fast, communicated with us with ease, and just all around were amazing!

Way easier than I thought it would be, if I would ever need to buy another home, this is where I would come.

Michael was outstanding. It was our first time buying. Both him and his team were attentive and able to answer any questions readily. We had issues with the title company an hour prior to closing and Michael was able to fix it so we were able to close on our first home!

For this to be my first home buying experience, it was amazing! I've heard many people talk about how it's a hard process to purchase a home, but I didn’t even have to ask questions because all of my questions were answered before I had to ask. It was extremely smooth and easy. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Helped a lot with the entire process. Was informed on everything and any issues that came up and even informed us on how to fix and make sure the issues were taken care of.

I heard 30 days was fast, so 17 days should be some sort of record, right?!

With less than perfect credit, Veterans United was willing to work with me to get me into my home. Loan officer was on top of everything. Made sure to communicate with me about things that were required. Very friendly and understanding.

Brain is the best! The North Jersey housing market is challenging especially for VA loans because there are so few veteran buyers. Nevertheless, Brian got the entire condo VA approved and us Clear to Close in a little over 30 days which is tremendous. He responded to us in minutes. He demonstrated excellent proficiency and customer service.

All around, very great people from start to finish, and also getting me approved for the loan. They know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them. What do you have to lose?
