Wes reached out to me and also Dika. I shared with them I was homeless 3 years ago when I was over come with addiction and I overcame that addiction and got clean 3 years ago but besides that Wes and Dika really listened to me and did not just look at me as a number but they cared and looked at me as a human and really cared. They worked with me and gave me goals to reach and it really felt good to feel I still had fight in myself. They structured my goals for me and gave me a non hassle path to getting my home. There are no words I can say to say how helpful and caring the team at Veterans United was.

I really enjoyed and appreciated the personal message included with the coffee cup and Roosevelt coffee which is quite good by the way in the closing gift package sent to me. I couldn't be happier with that amount of attention to detail because I definitely mentioned drinking coffee and buying this house for my son and I (his mom is coming too now :)) and it really just speaks to the gregarious and friendly spirit of the employees, all of which were great. I will say though that Ellis the first I talked to when I called last year late 2025 was great and not to be outdone so were Shawna, and Melissa, and Jeff. I would definitely utilize this company again and/or refer other potential home buyers to this service. Five out of five stars for me.

Veterans United worked really well for us. They were always ready to answer any questions we had. Documents were always correct. I would used them again.

Loan team communicated often, keeping me informed on where the process was at and what was going on from start to finish. Josh did an excellent job of making the process feel friendly and overall, less intimidating. Had an issue come up the week of closing that would have delayed everything, Josh and the team were able to overcome the obstacle to put everything back on track and still managed to close on the original date as intended. Can't say enough about the Veterans United team. Would, and will recommend to every veteran I know.

Applied for loan several months before I planned to use it, and when the time came Veterans United worked with me in a timely manner to get a mortgage/house. They even managed to buy down my interest rate with extra closing cost paid by the seller.

I honestly was scared that they would deny me because of my divorced situation with the ex. I haven't been married to him for a long time, but he ended up filing for bankruptcy and I felt like although I am no means tied to him, I thought I would have gotten denied. They said "No, you have a shot at obtaining a loan. The military is paying you every month and also you are working hard as a single mom." They said, "You got this loan because you've worked hard and have paid your bills."
