Each time I spoke with someone I had to provide different information and each time it was satisfied with what was sent to them … I finally called them back a 5th time and asked to speak with the loan specialist but I was still denied that … come to wait another 3 days after a week went by and finally was told the information was not sufficient and to provide extra documentation.

The reference for this loan was obtained through Credit Karma. That said, having underestimated the moving cost, I had applied for an additional loan which was not approved. Again, I had applied on the basis of Credit karma information suggesting a positive result. If I recall correctly, when I initially applied, seeking $28.000, it seems to me you were offering up to $33,000.00.

After applying I recover an email and I needed to send government ID and do face scan to prove identity. EASY PEASY.

Received 10k dollar loan to combine all my credit cards. This lowered my interest rates 2/3. My average interest rate was 27 percent and now it's around 9% with one low payment. They put the leftover money in my bank and I paid off the smaller ones from that. I only owe for this loan and that is it.

I had to verify my bank numerous time and had to be on a 3 way call with me several times.. after the wrong routing number was used. Citibank kicked the funds back then it became process to get my funds resent back.. Even with a new routing number. I had to go back thru the process again.. I shouldn’t had to wait a whole week to get my funds back. Very disappointing. I almost canceled the loan cause I kept getting the run around.

I was amazed at the quick turnaround. I had some problems with logging in to finish the application. One email to support, one phone call and quickly problem resolved, finished application and was funded. If not for the one minor hang up, it would have been flawless. The technical problem was that the login page didn't accept or recognize the auto fill. Once I manually keyed it in, voila it worked, and now accepts the auto fill.

The loan process was fast and easy. Five stars. Truly recommend. The money was deposited the following day. The only thing I had to upload was a bank statement to show my direct deposit. This loan help home from paying 33% interest to 15% interest. Big difference.

Great rates, simple transaction. Only downside was you had to open an acct for their credit union which I don't see the point but all in all a fair and quick way to consolidate my credit card bills to a much lower rate. Don't think twice...just do it!

The limited interaction with upgrade was very different, yet, appreciated in view of the fact the loan was approved with limited follow-up needed. In particular once I submitted all the required documentation. The $750.00 fee was a surprise, however, I recognize this type of loan processing would merit a fee. The period of no communication and the name upgrade during that period occasionally, I wondered if my personal information had falling into the wrong hands. However, I exercised patience and trust then one day the funds were in my account. So the different kind of loan processing experience was appreciated!

Everything went really smooth after I move forward to new interest-rate.. Unfortunately I was quoted a better rate originally which was frustrating and customer service seem to have no information?! I have a mid 825 credit score Low debt to income. When I finally got my exact rate it was 3% higher? Customer service was friendly however they had no information and were not able to give me answers why it was increased from previous quote!? it was lower than a few other competitors I applied with. They paid off my cars and put the remaining in my bank in like one business day which I very much appreciate it! Thank you!

Overall I had a really good experience using Upgrade to do debt consolidation, however there's one part of the process that gave me a bit of anxiety. To complete your loan you needed to add a certain amount of debt and the UI to do that was a little confusing for credit through companies like synchrony (Amazon Card and Care Credit). Even though I had card numbers for those lines of credit things like the Amazon card don't necessarily have expiration dates. And even though those transfers went through once I got the loan it was still a bit scary to send a large amount of money into the unknown.
