Such a wonderful house buying experience! Easy and efficient process. I love the app. The tasks kept us on “task”. From offer to closing in 28 days! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I love that each part of the loan process was delegated to different people which kept the process moving forward. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I started the refinance process, it was speedy but not rushed. It was explained to me step by step as I navigated through the process. I’m not very tech savvy, but your loan officer Keanen ** was respectful, pleasant, responded to my texts quickly, and extremely patient with answering my multiple questions. He was amazing and definitely made my experience with my refinance great from start to finish. Thank you, Rocket Mortgage.

Working with Rocket to do everything online and virtual was wonderful. We did have some issues getting one of our phones to work properly but got it eventually. The appointment was not lengthy and went smoothly. Our notary was very polite and professional.

Everyone that was involved in my loan process from the first phone call to the closing agent was knowledgeable, polite and answered all questions to my satisfaction. The process was easy to understand and speedy. This is my second loan with Rocket Mortgage and I will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Peter ** did an exceptional job of offering the product, describing the product, and explaining to me the benefits to my wife and I. Peter was one of the few Sales type people that kept in contact regularly, and by email as I indicated I preferred. My review of Rocket Mortgage is described by the fact we have used Rocket for purchasing a home and refinancing homes over the past maybe 20 years (I'm guessing). Absolutely great experience thanks to my awesome banker, Heather **. She went above and beyond. There were many obstacles that no other banker was able to overcome. Heather did far more than her job. Rocket has an unrecognized and underappreciated gem of an employee.

Rocket Mortgage helped me figure out the best plan to get the house I wanted with a down payment that met my needs. I was kept very well informed. The checklist kept me on track. Everyone I interacted with was part of a smoothly running system. Each part knew what the other was doing and could back each other up. Very pleased with the experience.

Very easy to work with, a quick and easy process and all details were taken care of. Appraisal was done in a timely manner and all papers were signed in the comfort of our own home. Task lists were very straightforward and made it easy to keep track of what needed to be done and timeframes were within what I was told at the beginning.

It was a wild ride! Not the fault of Rocket Mortgage but a greedy ex-wife and her unscrupulous lawyer. Amie ** helped me with EVERYTHING! She guided me through both, yes both, attempts to get er done in a very trying period in my life. I was reluctant to go with an "online" mortgage instead of my local credit union, but these guys handle so many mortgages that they make all the hassles and hoops seem easy. I would recommend them to friends and even the strangers reading this review.

I worked with 2 or 3 people from here. All were awesome. They went above and beyond to help me out. Great company and team to work with. We moved a few things around until the refinance would work for us. They all showed a great deal of patience. They kept in constant contact throughout the process.

From the first phone call about what I was looking for in a refi through the remote close; the entire process was simple and easy. Eugene listened to everything I was telling him and never tried to sell me anything I wasn't looking to do. He helped me get to where I want to be and was able to get a me a loan that lowered my rate and years to pay off the house.

Rocket Mortgage sold my contact info and I started getting a dozen calls per day for a month. Nothing could stop the continuous sales calls. Not only that, Rocket Mortgage continues to call, even late at night, and their phone reps are trained to push and push and push, even after you've said no, thank you repeatedly.

Our experience working with Rocket is always seamless. We worked with Nores and he was very helpful, answered all our questions and even called a couple of times on request through text. Everything we asked for and about was delivered. As always, thank you!

If I could give 0 stars, I would, they did not update information and I had reapply 3x for same home. They have moved closing date 3x because they do not follow through on their end, say it's the agent who schedules... There is no agent, never had one owner and buyer. Would not disclose what had to be in homeowners policy, paid for first, have to get new, wait for refund, and they approved new and now don't like it, gave insurance contact info. They said wrong number, but it worked for me, now it's a glitch in their system. Still trying to close on home, only using to close will refi as soon as possible, too late to go somewhere else. They have today to schedule closing or I lose the home and will be homeless. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I had a great experience with Rocket Mortgage. After dealing with Loan Depot, New American Funding, SAGE, and others, I was frustrated with them for dragging me along even though I was upfront about my work history. I had a gap due to a health scare and they offered to assist but at the end they rejected me because of that gap! With Rocket, it was a lot different. I informed them of my issue and they said they could help and they did. My loan process was smooth and simple! Even the closing and signing was easy and quick! I’d definitely recommend Rocket Mortgage!!

Everything went very smoothly. All steps accounted for clearly. No trouble with anything and people were very pleasant to deal with. Strongly recommend Rocket Mortgage - they are very organized. Previous dealings with other mortgage companies in the past have always been more complicated and seemed confusing.

This has gotten to be the worst experience I have ever had with any type of refinancing/making a loan. I would highly advise against using Rocket. From the time it took to the amount of paperwork that had to be submitted multiple times to the mistakes made by the title attorney was unbelievable. Me and my children almost lost our house due to this. I would never recommend Rocket to anyone

Excellent experience. Courteous and quick responses to question. And got the job done in record time. One thing you need to change is in the online closing. Is where they ask for photo ID and ask ridiculous questions for which I failed and you sent a notary to my house. Which you should have done in the first place. Other than that it was great ty.

It was great from start to finish, Kyle was helpful in explaining everything, since it was my first home. I got the run around from my own bank, but was up and ready to go within a half hour with Rocket.10/10 I would definitely recommend Rocket to friends or family.

We started our refinance journey on June 24th. It started out great. Then turned into a nightmare. We barely got closed on July 31, 2025 and that was only because we finally had to get a director involved. Rocket Mortgage dropped the ball so many times and between each request they would wait 48 to 72 hours to review to give something else that needed to be done. Keep in mind we provided all required documentation or actions usually within the hour of request. We even had a closing scheduled after sitting on hold for 30 some minutes and poof, when time came to get the email for the link, they had no record of the closing appointment.

Rocket Mortgage has an easy-to-follow Dashboard that led me through the process with ease. Questions were answered quickly. My request was handled in less than 40 days from application to closing. Setting up auto payments was a breeze and even allowed me the option of setting up Bi-weekly payments.

When my son told me he wanted to buy an apartment, I told him we need to contact Rocket Mortgage. I already have two previous mortgages with Rocket Mortgage and the process, help, rates, etc. were great. Once again, Rocket Mortgage did not disappoint. Thank you for all your help!

This process which should have taken around a month ended up being almost four months because of the lack of knowledge by the people involved. First by trying to accomplish a loan which couldn’t even be done in the first place. That wasted at least a month. Then when it was determined the right path to take there was one thing after another that was asked for us to do that was supposed to take care of everything needed only to end up being another thing. Three different closing dates, one fiasco after another was just too much to have to deal with. Would never recommend Rocket to anyone and as soon as the rates go down I will be refinancing somewhere else.

I thought it was a great experience. Everything went smoothly and quickly. Everyone was very friendly and experienced with each step of the process I had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to go through this again with any of them! Thank you for all your help.

From the very beginning, the process was very smooth. It was quick to get everything processed and the information that was given was very quick. The only negative I would give, is that we actually had to send in the checks to our creditors instead of Rocket just paying them off. That was a very time-consuming piece of the process. All in all, I would recommend to someone else.

I love that everything is digital and how responsive and accessible the loan agents are. There were some surprises at the end as some things that should have been included on the closing costs were not (lawyer fees, realtor fees, etc). The initial rate given by Rocket was a little higher than others, but they were willing to price match once I provided those offers. Their fees are a little higher as well, (less than $500) but given the ease of use and ready access to loan agents, I was ok with the minor increase in fees. Overall, I would recommend Rocket to my friends and family, especially those that prefer digital and SMS engagement. Their app also makes things convenient to upload and handle your mortgage on the go. On a side note, after getting my mortgage, I was hoping to get their Rocket visa only to find out they stopped offering it, which was a bummer.

Great service, and always happy to answer questions about anything you had questions about. Very informative, and thorough with everything. Everyone was respectful and polite. Always checking in to make sure everything is going good even after their part is done. When giving instructions they will call you and help you through them if need be. Thank you all and keep up the great energy you have showed me.

This is my second mortgage experience with Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage with a whole different team of people. Both experiences were top notch. My realtor tried to convince me to work with a friend of hers at a local brick and mortar location, but I just KNEW this was the right choice for me and I wasn’t wrong. One of my favorite features was the ability to adjust my approval letter myself online at any time, which really helped me in the negotiations process. They really have everything figured out to be super user friendly and are still really personable.

This is my third loan with Rocket Mortgage and every time it has been a smooth and quick process. My loan officer called to check up with each milestone and was very honest in his explanations. The website was also easy to use and follow. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone.

I wanted a $25,0000 loan and essentially Rocket was directing me into 15-30 year heloc rather than providing a personal loan option. It wasn't until I discovered and secured a personal loan from another company that Rocket then started sending me emails pertaining to their personal loans. Naturally they should be presenting which loan is best for their client and not try to sell they on something that's clearly not needed for the situation.

Shortly after initiating our application, my husband and I started receiving a flood of calls from competing lenders. It was immediately clear that our personal information had been shared externally. This barrage of unsolicited outreach continued throughout the process, turning what started as a seamless experience into one that felt intrusive and frustrating. While I appreciate the efficiency of the overall process, the unexpected breach of privacy left us disheartened. We hope you’ll consider stronger safeguards around customer data going forward.

Rocket Mortgage - Great reviews. Be careful of the bait and switch. They pull you in and make changes to the contract during your 30-day closing process. For me, mysteriously, the closing costs went up by 10k. No explanation or justification. I was unable to contact the Broker Josh, nor his manager, Dustin. I would not recommend them.

They walked us through each step and were very encouraging. It was nice because they were always cheerful and knew how to help figure out where we needed help working online.

Very easy and smooth. Found updates on the dashboard. Joseph ** was wonderful to work with. Always was very responsive to our questions. The chat on the webpage was very helpful and response answer in timely manner. Highly recommend Rocket Mortgage for refi options. Joe worked to find our best option that worked for us. The closing was close to us, which was great and worked out very well.

People are dishonest, started the process with excellent credit. They ran my credit report so many times card copies inquiries. Credit went down to four. They raised my interest rate. Took a month to six weeks and then I had a call to find out where the money was. Wasn’t in the bank when they said it was gonna be. No idea with the checks to pay other bills with. It didn’t give me no Tracking numbers, no dates. Who is transporting the MONEY? Horrible experience. Would never ever recommend them. They are snake oil salesman.

I have tried for several days to reach somebody regarding my payoffs after I receive my loan, however, I haven’t gotten no answers nor any assistance. David, the original loan officer gave me a number however no one at that number could assist and it’s disappointing not knowing when these loans would be paid off by Rocket Mortgage per the contract.

Overall a good experience. The loan agent answered any questions I had and when he couldn't do the original loan I asked for he came up with an alternative. However, the difference between the original payment quoted and when I got my first estimate was $400 more due to taxes and insurance, which is a lot of money to me. The more we moved forward the more loans they were paying off and the less I was getting back which was the original point of the loan, to get money back to put into fixing up our home.

The process went smoothly. I particularly liked the way everything was handled online including the documents required. The only thing that I would suggest is a negative would be that I was asked to provide information three times after I had already supplied said information. Other than that, and the amount of time required to close the loan, it was a painless experience.

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Rocket Mortgage. Every single person I worked with was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and also kind. Rocket Mortgage helped make my dreams come true of owning the home of my dreams. I am forever grateful to everyone at Rocket Mortgage. Thank you so much for working with me.

We worked with Jacqueline ** in a previous loan and used her for our second loan. We will not work with anyone else. She is the best! Took time to explain things we didn't know. Truly a great asset to Rocket. I can't say enough about such a kind, caring, understanding person. Any person we recommend to use Rocket will be referred to her only. We love Jacqueline!

Emily ** made the entire process so easy. She let us know what she needed and kept everything moving. It only took a few weeks to be funded. We have used Rocket before and have always been very pleased! We have recommend family and friends to check Rocket out and they had the same experience. It’s good to know how simple you make the process.

The process was extremely organized, fast and efficient. It was seamless and was over before I even realized it. The paperwork was available for review as promised. The checks are en route and the wire transfer already has been processed. I’m beyond pleased. Sometimes I thought the process was going too fast because I had trouble keeping up.

He initially called me and we talked months ago, his sincerity was evident to me when initially things were just not right so we tabled it month to month. When things changed on my end, he was there to help and we started the process. I can't say enough about how professional he is. His clarity and transparency through the process is the only thing that made it happen. He deserves 6 stars out of six stars. On the other hand, there were a few departments that showed lack of compassion, respect and almost tanked the whole process. For instance, a water test that was needless, I drank the water from the well for the last two years was turned in for review and it took that department almost 4 days. Unacceptable.

HOME EQUITY LOAN: Very disappointed with the entire process!! No delays on my end relative to my submissions nor credit score. The entire process was laboriously taxing due to significant delays on nearly every aspect of the loan proceedings with the Rocket Team. They do not keep the portal updated with detailed notes on what is occurring & drag their feet with document processing. In fact, it seemed the ONLY time something was posted was when a document(s) were requested from me. Please go back & check - I’d submit all documents lightning fast - no matter the timing nor inconvenience. It’s a shame your loan processors & closers aren’t as motivated. It’s difficult to reach an actual human in a timely manner. Moreover, when it FINALLY came to the closing ((5 weeks later)) we were told there was no way to have the required accounts paid off digitally.

Everything went smooth and easy. Very appreciative of those who helped through the process. This was surprisingly quick and the emails informing us of where everything was in the process were very helpful. Super happy outcome! Will spread the word with those who are looking to buy, refinance or just need some cash.

Everything went extremely fast, the ease of doing business was awesome, we started the process on June 22 and closed July 18th. I can't think of any company that can attend to your real estate needs like Rocket Mortgage, we highly recommend Rocket Mortgage to all of our friends and family.

Rocket Mortgage are the worst! Jack ** and Joey ** were my loan guys. 2 months in for a refi and I still don't see an end to this loan process. Now I can't get my $ 500 deposit back. I would never recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone.

I was just on the phone with this rip off company. They lied about my credit score. They told me they went through Experian. They did not. Stay away. They now have all my information and why lie??? Someone is lying through their teeth.

From the very first connect I have found people who were friendly and efficient in guiding me through the process of refinancing my home. Chad and his team were helpful and responsive. The app and online process was frustrating, not timely and needs improvement. The last minute delay of funding for several days (we still have not received funds) due to title attorney’s final review after closing that misidentified new solar panel fixture lease lien as being a real estate lien was completely avoidable and extremely stressful. Related communications except with Chad, were completely inadequate. As an attorney, my not being able to communicate with legal personnel was particularly frustrating. Fortunately, after directly contacting our loan officer the issue reportedly has been resolved but after COB on Friday. Therefore, we have seen nothing except a text from Chad, nothing has been updated in app, no emails and no new funding date, no revised documents.

During this whole process the experience was over the top. The process did not take long. All who I spoke with were very professional. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone. Your name Rocket Mortgage speaks for itself. The way you do your business is a good model for everyone in this type of profession to follow.

This process was seamless from start to finish. Our first phone call with our mortgage specialist was extremely informational and helped us immediately land on the right route for us. The process after that was always very easy. We are very happy with all aspects of this experience. Now that it's finished, we can look back and feel some relief about moving forward with our new mortgage.

My interaction with Rocket mortgage was because my sister who died had two loans with Rocket mortgage. Working with this company in this situation is almost impossible as they excel in the art of delays and asking for more and more information that each take 2-3 weeks for their "legal team" to review. I sent them a copy of my sister's stamped death certificate and a letter of authority from the Probate court naming me as her Legal Representative (LOA). I heard nothing back from Rocket until I called and they told me for weeks that they could not talk to me because the "documents" (2 pages) I supplied were under legal review. They would not even tell me the amounts of the outstanding loans or how to make payments to keep these current since the Autopay feature at the bank ceases upon the bank finding out that the person died via Social Security, according to bank manager.

Everything from the first call to closing was so easy and clear. Any questions we had were answered by Tracy in a timely fashion. He was clear and concise with the entire process. Also, the lawyer from your end was so thorough and timely. We will definitely recommend Rocket Mortgage to our friends.

I went with Rocket Mortgage because of ease and fantastic customer service in prior years. My initial representative was fantastic but around mid-loan they switched me. The new guy read off a script and was not understanding of situations. They offer help if your appraisal came in upside down but I’ll be honest that lady didn’t want to actually help me whatsoever. Also very not understanding. Employment verification was a mess. The lady was rude and they had our information wrong not even to my doing. I will think twice before using them again.

My experience with Rocket was great! Everybody I spoke with and had interactions with were professional and helpful through the entire process. The only thing I would change is the notification process when there's tasks to complete. I didn't realize that I'd need to check the website multiple times a day and went a few days without completing tasks. If there was some type of text message or email that happens when you have tasks to complete, that would streamline the process that much more.

The entire loan process was easy and was completed far faster than I would have hoped. The people I worked with were all friendly and professional and I felt like they were my team helping me achieve my goals. They were patient with all my questions and kept me informed every step of the way.

I applied for a loan explain my situation in detail they readily agree they can provide me a loan for a HELOC. It was all a big lie then they told me they could qualify me for a smaller loan and then I have to reply for a second loan beyond that and refi the first one. I'm not sure what they meant exactly but the whole thing was turning into a giant nightmare. And I walked from the whole thing. The bottom line is these people are dishonest. They will tell you anything to get you to provide all your information, unfreeze your credit from the credit check. Collect all the data on you and then you suddenly find out there's some issue. I would never trust these people. Avoid avoid avoid. If you need a loan go to your local bank or credit union. They will have the lowest fees and if they've worked with you for a long time it'd be a easy process.

The closing went as expected. The mortgage rep was very well prepared and organized. I was satisfied with this experience. I really don't have anything more to say about the process. We have been through this before and we knew what to expect. There were no issues and my husband and I were satisfied with the process. We thank you very much. I don't really have anything else to say.

Dealing with Rocket mortgage has been good. No unexpected issues (other than issues with HELOC payoff) and loan representatives were all helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. Process took a little longer than expected primarily due to the issues of getting the payoff to my HELOC loan. My personal loan representative Candice ** was very helpful and patient dealing with us which we appreciated.

While most of the time I found the agents very attentive, we lost it all at the end. I was very reticent to have my car paid off through the title company and closing, and I expressed my concern that it wouldn’t be done in a timely manner. The title company reached out to Rocket Mortgage several times, I was told and over and over again they said they did not have my statement for that account. At no time was I contacted for assistance and I had been told not to pay it myself. I did send my statement to Rocket Mortgage weeks ago when they asked for it. That is how they had the amount for my cash to close. I feel as though the late payment that I’m going to have on my record is frustrating in light of the fact that it is avoidable. Either that or I’m going to have to make a payment and have it refunded, also frustrating.

Everything was easy and done quickly, I appreciate all the help and answers to questions I had. There was always quick responses whenever I needed assistance. I would recommend rocket mortgage. It was a good experience working with them. My loan was processed quickly and efficiently. I had very few issues and even when I did it was easy to remedy. I appreciate all the help.

I had been considering a second mortgage for a while. I even started the process a few times with other representatives, but something always held me back. Then one day, Elizabeth called me—and the way she spoke gave me an immediate sense of ease. I felt I could trust her, and that’s what encouraged me to finally move forward. She was extremely patient and took the time to answer all of my questions, even giving me her personal cell number so I could reach out anytime. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly, and kept me updated throughout the entire process.

We got all the help we needed by Paul. He was very nice and helpful the whole time. At a few times we had questions and he always called back and answers in a timely manner. The speed of which we got the loan was great as well. Very great service and would absolutely recommend.

The equity was easy to apply for and being walk through all the steps greatly helped out. The process was fast and secure, the staff was friendly and professional. Submitting the required documents was simple and fast. The closing process was quick and being able to do it over a live video feed was convenient.

I went on their website just to look. Now I am getting numerous calls and the people won’t take no for an answer. They are rude and harassing. I have had to block over 30 numbers and they refuse to take me off the call list.

Service was not up to par. Not attentive at all. Lack of callbacks and verification of needs or concerns. I could not get the information I needed because once the primary person sent the loan over to underwriting and processing, the entire process seemed long and out of touch. I tried to contact who Rocket had on the site but he stated that it was up to the closing folks.

At first Rocket Mortgage was great, I was pre approved for a first time home loan and the numbers were good, everything seemed on the up and up. The dashboard to-do list was a nightmare. It took several attempts to link up accounts, and a full week of my loan officer texting me everyday with a new task, retaking pics of documents and submitting them for review. Between that time, there was alot of waiting and wondering...the whole ordeal seemed unprofessional, unhelpful, and like pulling teeth to get any information. And any information, was last minute. Stay away and just keep looking for a better lender...

From the initial application to the closing documents on my new home, I have had a great experience with everyone I talked to. I had a terrible experience with Rocket Mortgage. I have an active loan with Rocket. I want to make everyone aware of an awful loan experience. A Rocket loan officer called me, which was one of many calls I received in the past. I was promised that if my loan were approved, I would get a better interest rate by refinancing. I did my credit check and paperwork. I was then approved and signed the documents to finish the process. I was now waiting for the appraisal, which was scheduled for next week.

While much of the loan process went smoothly and those who helped us were kind, knowledgeable and effective, many of the team managing our loan happened to be out of office when it came time to close the loan. All documents had been submitted for review and confirmed, however, someone on the Rocket side could not find them; would not validate them, and did not get them to underwriting in a timely manner. The result was that Rocket Mortgage missed the deadline set by the Title company.

Albert ** was the man I spoke to on the phone and has been with me every step of the way. He is so kind and smart and helpful. I never felt pressured into going with Rocket. I just called up one day and stated a conversation and then now I am a loyal customer of Rocket. I always saw the commercials but didn't realize how good the company is.

Other than the holdup of trying to get a structural engineer to inspect our property, the process was fast. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and eager to assist us in our loan process. We are very satisfied with our process and outcome of our loan distribution. We would choose Rocket again if we had to go through the process again.

This is the second time we have financed our mortgage with Rocket and it keeps getting better. Everyone is so helpful and the process is very easy online. I would highly recommend to a friend or anyone for that matter. Thank you Rocket for making something easy in our lives!

Connor started strong.. Quick and simple will after my father's passing. Promised a lot.. Met that expectation... Until closing.. Was in closing for 3 weeks.. No updates.. No reason. Asking for things that were previously submitted.. On and on.. Would be out of touch.. And still not closed as he missed 2 things and I have to clean up the mess. So now nearly a year.. Can't close the estate related to an oversight and poor closed loop from Rocket. Stay away.. Smoke and mirrors.

Michael ** was easy to work with and overall this was a quick and pleasant experience working with Rocket Mortgage. The process from start to finish only took about a month and I did not have to chase after information or wait on people to call me back. The website is very easy to use and easy to upload documentation. Response times were quick moving from one step in the process to another.

Here are the key facts: My insurance policy was scheduled to expire on August 15, 2024. I fully paid off my mortgage with Rocket Mortgage and closed the loan on July 24, 2024. Despite this, Rocket Mortgage made a payment on July 16, 2024 to renew the insurance policy without my knowledge or consent. I had no obligation to maintain the insurance after the payoff, and I had no intention of renewing the policy. The insurance company confirmed that I was not required to notify them of cancellation — I simply needed to not pay the renewal premium, which was my plan.

Working with Rocket was painful. We filled out of all of the forms and waited and waited. And we would call and they’d say something like “you have another blank to upload”. And when we would say the portal doesn’t show that, no one could explain why. Repeat this at least 4 times. Because of this, our HELOC took an insane amount of time to receive.

Everything went smoothly. Lauren ** was excellent, keeping on top of everything and answering our all our questions immediately. Our closer, Julie ** also did a good job walking us through each document as we were signing. And best of all, the money is in our bank on the day promised! Best mortgage experience ever!

They do a home appraisal and get your current state home value but then tell you that you need to fix about $20k in repairs before the loan. But they don't increase your appraisal of home. .. Good way for them make extra money off you to gain more value to them. Horrible experience and appraiser doesn't know what's he doing... didn't check attic, roof sheathing, insulation and more worried about cosmetic aesthetics. Then the refinancing doesn't cover the costs they want you to make.

Two things; first I would reconsider using an out of state lender in the future simply because it seemed there were some procedures, details specific to Illinois that y'all weren't super familiar with. 2nd: Your people should be more proactive in explaining from the get go that clients will be passed on to 3 different 'specialists' and those people should be more proactive in communicating, at least to those who are in the week? Maybe 5-8 days away from closing or CTC if they are going on vacation and you'll be passed on to another new person tomorrow, instead of just getting an email auto reply saying "back in the office Monday" 48 hours before closing.

Very bad company. Very bad service doesn’t have employers employers he has. It doesn’t understand anything about mortgage. My bad I choose this company. Very bad service. Hold my check for no reason. All I can say is if you don't use Rocket Mortgage, you are making a large mistake. In 25 years, I have refinanced 3 times. Out of all of them, Rocket Mortgage was by far the most caring and most professionals I have worked with. From start to finish, they stayed with me and made it the fastest and easiest refinance I've done. Much better than "Cats". I'd use them again and again.

We got a loan through Rocket. All was okay till we refinanced. I had called in and paid my payment for 12 months ahead. Well when I refinanced, they put that money on the principal. I didn't want that and I didn't agree to it. They are saying I agreed to it by refinancing. But I had talked about the fact that I wanted that money to be my payment. Sure the money was put on the principal but that is not what I wanted, or needed. Now they are rude and of no help. Was basically told, too bad. And if you have to talk to them, prepare to get transferred back and forth cause on one knows what they are doing. So I would not recommend a rocket loan.

Back in September 2024, my kitchen was destroyed by flooding. After eight grueling months of back-and-forth with the insurance company, they finally issued a check—but it listed Rocket Mortgage as a co-payee, so I knew I’d need their endorsement. While logging into Rocket’s website to figure out the next steps, I was shocked to learn my mortgage was marked as delinquent. I’ve always paid directly from my paycheck every two weeks, so I thought it was a mistake. Since it was a Sunday, I had to wait until Monday to speak with someone. The first representative was unhelpful, but the second looked deeper and discovered that my mortgage had quietly increased by $60 back in October 2024. I had never been notified. That’s what caused the delinquency. I immediately paid the outstanding balance and even paid a month ahead.

We have two mortgage with this company unfortunately. Obviously they think it's okay to sell your information to other companies who call you non stop and harass you for business. Shame on RM for turning into a total POS company.

The whole process has taken over a month. Still have not received the cash to back account or checks and the accounts that were due to be paid out are now due. Another complaint is that we were told there liens on house. We knew that there wasn't but was advised that someone would contact us regarding that. No one contacted us and we will unclear of what was going on. I spoke to Ryan and he advised it was cleared up. Would not have known if I did not make the call. It would have been quicker and less stressful to have taken a loan.

Rocket Mortgage was easy to contact. They worked with me and my realtor providing excellent and efficient services. They were avaliable at all times. Even working around my crazy schedule. I appreciated the way they took time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend.

I really liked the convenience, accountability, professionalism, and helped me through the entire process. For example, Ciera ** was a great banker because she knew how to keep in touch texting and phone. The texting was way more helpful as I am very busy with work. She followed through with every single text question. She was also a contact when other people during the process were hard to get in touch with or ghosted me. Great job!

Phillip and Brian were great to work with. Phillip was more on point as we dealt with him more. We were a little disappointed in our real estate agent Peggy ** as she seemed to advocate more for the seller than us as the buyer during negotiations and as issues arose. On the other side of closing and interacting with locals and local businesses we are routinely told we overpaid for inspections. All inspection businesses were coordinated outside of us so not sure who made those selections but I assume it was Peggy. As we settle into the home we are finding many mold and leak issues that weren’t found during inspection. However as far as Rocket Mortgage it was a smooth and relatively painless process.

We have perfect credit, no credit card debt, own our brand new house outright, and was quoted 6 percent interest for 30 years loan, they never wavered, every step went very smooth. For some unexplained reason, they jacked it up to 7 percent at the very last minute, and tried to bargain it down slightly when we complained. We talked it over and decided not to do it. Raising 1 point in the 11th hour was just a sign of a slimy company. Bad business practices. Do not waste your time, go somewhere else. Buyer beware.

Everyone from the loan originator to closing processor was super friendly and efficient. They made it a great process. We cracked jokes and just had a great time with each individual. A lot of paperwork was exchanged and being able to submit it straight to the app was fantastic. The app is very user friendly.

Rocket Mortgage struggles with integrity at the corporate level. They would not take responsibility for an internal processing error even after it was documented and the complaint was sent to the BBB. They dug in and denied the obvious to the BBB, even after ignoring a certified letter sent to the CEO requesting an investigation and written response.

My wife, Kerri, handled the majority of the closing of our house. 90% of the experience was fantastic! On 6/11/25, we had an appointment set to close at our home, at 6:30 pm. By 7 pm that evening, no one had shown up, so we began to make phone calls to the person who was supposed to be showing up. We attempted to call him several times, and after 2nd ring, the phone would automatically disconnect. We also attempted to call the regular customer service line and got hung up on twice.

Not off to a very good start here, I used the insurance company you recommended.

Working with Joshua was easy, fast, efficient. He was clearly committed to helping us. He was great to work with, friendly, knowledgeable, and able to work things through the system so we got what we needed. Whenever something did not work as expected, he would step in a fix it right away.

We had multiple technical issues, but everyone who helped us from Tech Support was helpful and patient. These technical issues caused a significant delay in our closing. In the end, the notary sped through our process and we were able to close on the day we had planned. This was very helpful due to the conflicting schedules within the household.

I do not recommend Rocket Mortgage. They are my lender and the customer experience after the loan approval has been horrible. Our closing was chaotic as they daily reassigned our loan to someone else who did not communicate with the prior loan assistant. No one was at our closing and we were suggested to sign off on things that were not in our best interest like our taxes and insurance not being included in our escrow. They did not address delinquent taxes owed on the property prior to our purchase. The customer service experience is a joke. No one can answer questions and it’s nothing but transfer after transfer until you end up on hold for a lengthy period of time.

My loan officer was extremely helpful and I had a great experience with him. Only issue I had was with underwriting as it felt like I had to re-verify the same documents or information multiple times. The process was tedious and frankly it left me annoyed. I'm sure this review will not change the process at Rocket Mortgage but it is something that should be taken under consideration. There are plenty of local lenders that I could've used but I went with Rocket based on the presumption that it would be a smooth and easy process.

I think Brian was great. He was professional and remained true to our requests and expectations. However, there were several times when I think requesting and received documents should have been more coordinated. I think communicating with a single contact works would have been more efficient. Otherwise, we are pleased with the level of proficiency as it relates to results.

The person who came in last year to do my appraisal took 30 days to get that back to the banker which was the greatest holdup with the entire process and ended up not going well. I appreciate all you guys with this. I've needed some work done to my roof which is why I tried last year to refinance my home, now I have the money with which to fix my home and pay needed bills off. They were able to help me save thousands of dollars in additional debt. My mortgage banker was very helpful in assisting with the process.

I was not impressed with the process of being told that a house inspection was not required for our loan, then being told we needed a foundation inspection after an appraiser (who is not a licensed contractor or engineer) recommended a foundation inspection based on moisture in a cellar that is not moisture proof. Then needed another inspection based on "moisture mitigating" recommendations. We paid for an initial inspection for our peace of mind. Rocket Mortgage would not accept the foundation portion of that inspection report. So, the SAME inspector was hired to do the foundation inspection by the seller.

My experience was amazing, I was walked through every single step during our process before our closing. Was also constantly updated during the process. I have never done a smooth closing like I did with Rocket Mortgage. I would 100% recommend to family and friends. Closing was smooth. Love that it was virtual. The agent that assisted with our closing she was amazing, super friendly and walked us through every detail in each page we had to sign. Customer service 100/100.

Our overall financial situation was improved by us refinancing and consolidating debt. We were surprised on how long the process took (just over a month), there were multiple people involved vs. dealing with one contact, we feel the service and fees total was very high, disappointing that we could not get any cash back out of the refinancing ($8 and some change was insulting considering how much equity was left in our home) and lastly we were surprised that the paying off of our creditors from the consolidation was in the form of physical checks sent to us that we had to send to our creditors which should have been handled directly and not with actual checks, way too easy for mail to get lost and just inefficient especially with technology today. Despite those handful of things, overall our budget was improved by the refinancing so that was the positive result. If I did recommend this to anyone, I'd be sure they understand what to expect first.

I'm so glad I found Rocket Mortgage! My home refinance loan with another lender was taking too long and growing everyday in cash to close and shrinking monthly savings. I contacted Rocket Mortgage and got a GREAT refinance loan that closed in just over 2 weeks! I'm always going to work with Rocket from now on!

There were a few hiccups in our remortgage. But none that stopped us from proceeding. We closed fairly quick. The closing from "Anna" was quick, well explained and very smooth. Your company advertised 4.9% APR, but for some reason I could not get it. I was put at 6.99, which was the same I was paying on the mortgage I was paying off. I was hoping for a little better interest to make it worth paying the closing costs.

In the very beginning, everything had been going smoothly. People were helpful, telling me good things. Until I was ready to close on the house. When it came time to close, Rocket Mortgage did not fulfill all of the fees through the attorneys and after I put down $38,000 which was supposed to cover all closing costs which means all closing costs they did not bring what they were supposed to, to the table of clothing. Thus making me have to write out checks for an extra $3400. This has put me in a very bad spot now and it seems like Rocket Mortgage doesn’t care.

When I started my process with Rocket, I worked with Ammar ** and thing were very good. He was polite, friendly, and helpful. Then, Michael **, started calling and/or texting me and he definitely wasn’t as polite, for sure. I understand he has a job to do, but he needs to be a little nicer when contacting clients. He also stops answering calls when he thinks the deal is done. NOT what someone wants when they have questions, especially when this is something you haven’t done before and are unsure of something. Like I titled this, GOOD - Ammar **, ok - Michael **.

We applied for this home equity loan and was approved within a week and the representative was very professional and gave us good information on achieving this line of credit. We like dealing with rocket mortgage because we have always been satisfied with our home loan and we like the low interest rate that we received on this loan.

I wish I could give zero stars. We talked with them about getting a refinance and we’re going through with the process. The next day I got over 100 spam calls from other lenders offering to lower the rate. I have NEVER had so much slam calls in my life!! Don’t even bother talking to them unless you want spammed!

As a seller on the other side. This company delayed closing asking for 2nd opinions and did not due anything in a timely manner. They send additional paperwork (FHA Amendatory Clause) to be signed after all parties signed closing document. This should have been done at least a week before closing. Buyers stated they were having trouble getting ahold of their representative.

I don't write reviews often. But my experience with Rocket Mortgage is great. There are some delays but I understand it, it's part of the process. From our Mortgage Banker Chris **, who explain to me everything in details, from application to closing. Regina ** who have all the patience is very professional, she answer all my questions regarding the closing procedure. I had a problem with my bank account number and she went out of her way to find the right person who can help. She gave me the number and I spoke to Mike ** who help me to fix everything. I began the process by submitting my email address and phone number through an online form, but I canceled the submission shortly afterward. Despite that, I received a call 24 hours later from a Rocket representative who offered to connect me with a mortgage specialist. I agreed, and the specialist introduced himself and stated the conversation would only take about five minutes. However, the call extended to 45 minutes as he continued asking questions. By the end of the call—which occurred on a Monday—I asked for a timeline and was told that, in most cases, the refinance process is completed by Friday of the same week. Based on that, I agreed to move forward.

I had gone to the Rocket Mortgage website to check current rates. I never checked the box that said I wanted to be called. When they called me the first time I repeatedly asked them not to call me and told them that I never asked to be called, but they continued talking until I hung up the phone. When they called me the second time I told them the same thing I had said the first time in addition to the fact that I felt like my rights were being violated. I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. Hopefully that does the trick.

All of the service through Rocket Mortgage was excellent. The communication was great. The process was smooth from start to closing. Love the website, it keeps you on point with where you are in the process. Will definitely call on Rocket Mortgage for all of my real estate needs in the future.

Applying for the loan was easy. I just have to submit all paperwork and other required documents needed to be approved. Every time I had a question, there was always someone I can call to answer my questions. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage to my family and friends if the need a loan.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage absolutely sucks. My bank called to get a payout so I could pay off my mortgage and they gave me the runaround. After 2 weeks of sending wire transfers through my bank I end up paying an extra 400 dollars. They kept denying receiving the transfer even though my bank showed it was received but not accepted on their end. I have purchased homes in the past and I would never use them, ever. This was really out of my control because they bought out my mortgage from another company as I got closer to paying it off.

Despite having my mortgage since 2008 with a previously spotless credit report, I've now encountered problems due to missed payments. It seems the reps prioritize sales and fee generation over customer well-being, often providing misleading information. This approach raises concerns about the company's commitment to its customers' best interests.
