Good experience from start to finish. Task steps were easy to follow and made the process go smoothly. Text messages were understandable and timely. All sections of the process from initial application to final closing were great. I recommend Rocket Mortgage.

Seamless from start to finish. Very easy, fast and convenient. Positive experience all the way around. Our closing was all of 10min long. Everyone we spoke to was polite and willing to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend to any of our family or friends.

Experience was good except for the fact that one of the payout amounts to Republic Financial was still listed at over $11,000.00 when it should have been $6,500. Another account CC Flow-24/7 was not listed and the payout amount was $4,500.00. Rocket Mortgage was provided with both documents. Totals for the majority of the payouts were not up to date. A little disappointed.

We started the process with another mortgage company. It was over one month into the process and no real progress. We decided to apply with Rocket and in one day we were further along than we were with the other company. The whole process was quick and easy. John was very responsive and thorough. I’m so glad we made the change.

Awesome experience overall. Simple. Easy. Fast. Nothing like getting a mortgage 25 yrs ago or even a home equity line of credit 12 yrs ago. Communication was exceptional from start to finish. The app is easy to use even for a technology challenged individual like myself.

Responsiveness was okay, asked 5x about a specific question and was told differing information from each representative we spoke with. Was told for 3 weeks we were good to close on scheduled date and no additional info was needed. Days before we were set to close, was told they needed additional information that was previously provided. Called and verified said info was received and RM confirmed yes. Agent told our realtor that we were the ones holding things up when it showed no tasks on our end. Very frustrating to be scrambling at the last hours to tell the agents when we submitted the required documentation WEEKS PRIOR. Would NOT recommend using.

Overall the experience was enjoyable, until today. Your loan gave us cash and was going to payoff a personal loan with SoFi. We were informed that Rocket was going to send SoFi a check following closing. But today we received the SoFi check with specific instructions on how to mail it to SoFi. We were not informed that it was our responsibility to get the check to SoFi. Not a good business practice!

The process was easy. Our first, communication was very acceptable until the final step to the loan to be accepted, we have doubts about getting it done, but in the end they find a way to help our financing go thru. Not owing money is better than paying on time when it comes to getting a loan.

Easy process from start to finish. These people are professionals all around. My agent, Ashley was up front with numbers and expectations. She answered all of my questions to satisfaction. I highly recommend Rocket Mortgage for all of your mortgaging needs.

The actual loan was not what I was originally told, which was fine. Then we're told that a certain amount goes towards the mortgage, which was new and I never got a straight answer as to why. I also felt the communication was lacking, I wasn't given a direct line or one contact person.

The process was efficient and smooth. We could not be happier. Ray ** and Jeremy ** are like friends. It was smooth sailing! We are settled in and loving the house and all the furniture that came with it. We actually are spending less a month than we were renting.

After losing my Job of 15 years, I reached out to Rocket Mortgage, and they offered me a forbearance and stated that in the end, there would be options. I reached out to them before the 3-month forbearance period was up, let them know I have found employment, and would like to resume my payments the following month. I requested to add the three payments to the back end of the mortgage. I then waited to hear back. Crickets! I called again and was told there was a law change and it was 4 months that I could apply. I applied. All Options were denied to me and they sent the creditors that I was late 4 months. A forbearance is NOT Late. They did not report the lates until I called to resume Mortgage payments. It does not say a forbearance it shows LATE. Now, my option is Pay the 4 months or they will not accept any payments from me and I'm looking at foreclosure.

They are crap. Lost my job last November and couldn't get one till halfway through June this year due to how shitty the job market is especially in Illinois even if you have a 4-year degree... but anyways got some help from them and wanted to restructure the loan and redo it so I can keep my home especially because how hard I worked to get this home for my kids. Instead want to pile everything up that's owed plus interest after I caught everything else up, had to buy a 7k furnace for the house, couple new sinks, fixed garage walls and roof, replaces all old appliances, and duct work even though were told different it was going to be redone so I can. So, they try to take my house and not work with me. I'll personally rip all that out and then they can figure it out....

This company is incredible. I worked with Andy **, who was amazing. I had already applied at a couple other companies with no luck, but Andy made it happen. He was very personable and professional, and very nice to work with. The whole process only took a couple of weeks, which was also amazing, especially because it was right before the holidays. I would definitely recommend this company, and Andy to help you get what you need.

Exceptional service from beginning to end of the refinance process. I'm very impressed how the process was managed. I don't have any issues or concerns to address. Rodney ** was my first point of contact, and he was prompt to answer any questions I had throughout the process.

She kept me abreast of the process and ensured I was uploading the correct documents in timely manner. I also had a good experience with Chris ** at my closing. Rocket has a very efficient process that is simple even for people that are not very familiar with digital data transferring. Very friendly staff that are always available to assist. Convenient for customers to be able to do everything from home. I highly recommend Rocket.

We were really excited to get our first home with rocket mortgage. Until the processor got the wrong appraisal and pushed our closing date not once but twice. And ended up being almost 2 weeks later. Another problem we had was that my husband is 100% Disabled with the Va and they didn’t listen so they took our taxes and didn’t give us the proper form to fill out to not have taxes put on our mortgage.

Rocket is so easy to work with! Very clear on what they need from you and what they are doing. I have already recommended Rocket to several friends and family. I just took a second to complete a rather large project on my home and with everything to think about regarding the project it was really nice to not have to worry about the financing!

All was good until loan was heldup due to rental/lease agreement didn’t meet requirements. After 2 failed submissions a Rocket Mortgage form was sent to rental office. It would of been best to send form to begin with, that way all information needed would of been submitted. It would of sped up process.

Everyone was professional and kept in contact with me throughout the process. Even with the government shutdown, we were still able to close on time and with no problem. They kept me updated throughout the process with all the documents I needed to give them and also kept in contact with my realtor and kept thing flowing. Fees were a little more than other companies but all in all it was a great experience for a first-time home owner.

It was very fast and efficient. Not sure why we are waiting a whole week to close after signing papers? We are excited about moving to a fifteen-year loan and a rate decrease. We will be able to knock our loan out much faster than was expected. Thanks!

Very easy process. Our representative, John, was very polite, professional and informative. The online site is transparent with what step is next, keeping us updated with what they needed. This was the least stressful and quickest loan process we have ever experienced. After closing our refinancing, the original loan was paid off within a week.

Amanda ** was my loan officer. She was great, returning my calls, informing me what was going on with loan and sending me everything in a timely manner. I've dealt with a few mortgage companies and I worked for 30 years in mortgage banking. Amanda was very professional. The loan closing was one of the easiest I've ever had. Initially, my experience was a 5, as time went along in the process with my contact person Dan ** was good, then the communication became an issue of timely responses and not able to explain my question he always had to get back with me and check with others to get answer and follow up which caused delays on our movement. I felt I was put in a situation to get certain information from my previous lender that I did not know how to navigate, it should have been Rocket Mortgage to follow up. I understand signing forms of authorization form and gathering requested documents. I also did not appreciate receiving multiple documents of the numbers changing and not being informed. If I did not call to ask questions of why no one would have called me, speaking with Matt **, who was very nice & helpful in explaining his part in what he handled.

Horrible!! Rocket Mortgage used to be a great company, they are poor at best! I tried to borrow some cash out of my equity. After 3 failed attempts to close, RM couldn’t get the paperwork to the Notary the company still can’t get it right. First Notary shows up, doesn’t have the electronics paperwork as needed and can’t get phone support from RM, second Notary doesn’t even come to the appointment as RM never sent the packet. They tried a third attempt. No luck!

Process was relatively easy. Uploading required reports was a snap on the website. Communication to the originating officer was always sufficient and timely. Process took longer than what I thought it should take, but it did complete in a reasonable time frame. I would use Rocket again in the future.

It has been quite a while since I had applied for a home mortgage, so I knew that things would be quite different. I did my research and found that Rocket is one of the top rated online mortgage lenders and are well known for their customer service. I was very pleased to find that it was all very much true! The online experience is user friendly, but along with that comes an "in-person" experience. My mortgage specialist was only a text, email, or phone call away. And trust me, I had a lot of questions that needed answering. Someone was always available to walk me through my concerns and to answer questions. The process was very smooth thanks to Rocket Mortgage and their staff.

It took longer than expected and the interest rate did end up higher because of that issue. Every time I needed to sign something or look over something, I took care of it immediately, so not sure what the holdup was. I notified David ** several days before the lower interest rate was going to expire and he got things moving again, but like I said, with a higher interest rate. Apparently, the underwriters were taking longer than expected. Thank you.

Everything until the First Closing was done went great. But.....the Nightmare begins..... then the Mail was lost and the closing had to be redone, so we redone all the paperwork. After I had spent time to get all the checks that came finally to pay off vendors with this loan from the second closing, I was informed from the Closing team that the checks I had already put in the mail are not any good?? The checks will have to be resent to my creditors and I am still waiting on the fallout from those and the fees for bad checks and late fees on few of them!

I called Rocket Mortgage for general information. Initially, the conversation was beneficial as it clarified a few things for me but I made it clear I did not want to proceed with anything at that time and in fact gave the person I spoke to a good review. In the end, it turned into a strong arm/pressure to proceed encounter that left me uncomfortable but was assured all info was private and no further action would be taken. Then I got documents in the mail as if I had agreed to proceed with something when I had not. Today I got more correspondence. Regret contacting this company and advise you think twice before doing so.

Hands down straight to the point rapid response time from every department. They are truly Rocket Mortgage…. Fast, friendly, hospital. Make you feel like you are working with family and not a stranger. 10/10 definitely would recommend for a 1st time home buyer for sure..

Blaine ** was my agent at Rocket and he was courteous and helpful. Everything in the process was smooth UNTIL closing. I was asked to pick a time for the attorney to show up to sign the closing papers and I picked 1:30 pm on Friday. At 11:00am Rocket called and said the attorney couldn't be there until 3:00. I had asked a guy to be here as my witness. So, now he is left sitting around my house from 1:00 to 3:00. At 2:30 Rocket called and said the attorney can't be here till 5:00! Now my witness and I have been waiting all afternoon.

Everything, except the Appraiser was positive. The Appraiser made a huge error on her forms, indicating that the front porch of my manufactured home when in fact it was the front part of the third section of a triple wide home. Her error cost me $500.00 to hire a Structural Engineering company to review the documented plans and certify that the porch was on the house foundation as a part of the original triple wide home. I reached out to the appraiser and she would not correct her error, leaving me to pay this extra expense. NOT GOOD!

If anybody is impacted by the government shutdown, they have no sympathy whatsoever, I was told they can defer the payment, but it was credit impacting and would show as a missed payment, this is no help at all. I have made auto payments on time for 15 years and this is the no help they give.

I highly recommend Rocket Mortgage for a home equity loan. It was very easy to work with them online because their communication through email is excellent. All of the documents were available to e-sign and our representative was always available by phone or text to answer any questions about the next steps. Once we were set with our loan, we were transferred to another dedicated group of loan-closing people who were very professional and made the process go smoothly. Our checks arrived quickly and we sent them on to our creditors the same day. From start to finish, it took about two weeks for us. Everything was straightforward and clear. This was our first experience having to secure this type of loan and we didn't know what to expect at first, but everyone was very thorough with their explanations of what we needed to do for the process. Thank you.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I had several questions during the whole process and most were answered nicely. It did seem that my main contact got tired of my questions. I did ask if there was going to any cash back, tat it would be applied to the loan to bring down the starting balance but they ignored that request. I was very happy with the interest rate and length of the loan that was given to me. I was told not to make my mortgage payment and that I would have a 15 day grace period but wasn't told that the increased interest would increase to payoff amount. Also, they had an issue getting the payoff amount from my previous mortgage company so I was waiting for about 2 weeks on that. When I found out I could request it, it took a couple hours to get.

Despite obtaining a first mortgage with Rocket (a refi of a Wells loan) just a few years ago, we just had a very poor experience with Rock for a small second mortgage for a necessary home repair. Despite LTV of 350% and 800+ credit, we were never made to feel we were an existing or valued customer. There was zero (0) transparency in the rate -- and it NEVER changed in the nearly two months, despite significant changes in the 10-yr Treasury. We did not sign a rate lock and even the Notary at closing volunteered our rate was high. The fees were nearly 6% -- and we were charged the same fees as if we were obtaining a first mortgage. Literally spoke to 6 RM people to try and get an explanation of the myriad fees -- 5 of the 6 people could not explain the fees. Will never work with RM again.

I have nothing but great things to say about the following. Nate ** (loan expert), Alisa ** (processing) & Mia ** (closer). They were all super great and did everything they could to help make up for your Insurance Dept which needs some major reviewing. The Insurance Dept caused at least a week and a half delay on my closing and caused additional last-minute work for the Alisa, Mia and my personal Insurance agent. They failed to copy me in on 2 different request they sent to my insurance provided email. The emails did not go directly to my agent therefore the request just sat in email purgatory. Also, when they placed task in the portal for me, I could not see anything past the 2 bullets. If I had not physically been on the phone with my loan officer (Nate) and we read line for line I would not even have known what they were needing, Again the loan, processing and closing agent were incredible.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage in a word was, AWESOME. From my first conversation with Cody ** answering my inquiry, then Cody and I working through the application process I felt like I was working with a friend. Cody had a friendly, helpful, and patient demeanor and responded to any questions quickly and if not available he had backup. Having the tasks on a website for ease of completion of loan process was GREAT! Communication was EXCELLENT via text, voice calls and emails. Closing was easy to schedule, quick and easy to complete.

Very little stress involved throughout the process. All issues were handled appropriately and in a timely manner. I was kept informed throughout the process. The automated procedures worked to perfection. I would recommend Rocket to my family and friends.

Seamless. As long as you stay on top of your emails, you is about as painless as it could be. The crew knew exactly what they had to do and got it done. The only problems I had were of my own doing. Printer not connecting or wouldn't scan. As long as you follow your team you will not be disappointed.

Brian was awesome as our lender. He reached out often and explained everything we needed to do. He was also able to get some discounts from the seller. He was with us to the end! 100% recommend Rocket Mortgage. This was an awesome house, we had been looking for about a month or two. The first house went pending right after we looked at it. In the meantime I found this 114 year old house. All wood doorways and window trim, fireplace insert, basement and a garage. Brian was on it for us, right away.

A family member suggested that we try Rocket Mortgage after her wonderful experience. The Rocket team did a great job. Our previous lender tried really hard but could not match our beat the Rocket Team 😊 which surpassed them in all areas. This was a great experience overall. It was incredibly easy, so easy in fact, that I purchased stock in the company. I think Rocket Mortgage has an ease of use business model that appears to use AI. In my opinion it will be the benchmark in acquiring a mortgage, refinancing, etc. My representative was extremely helpful. I was able to text, call, and email. All communications medium was responded to promptly.

Overall it was great. Maria was awesome and others that assisted worked to makes us happy. Biggest problems were no communications of why it was delayed (Getting Letter from current Lien Holder) and obtaining a closing date seemed to take forever. Then at closing we had a problem where we had to contact the Tech department. He immediately said lets get a notary to come by your home that day. Then the notary called and reset the appt for 3 hours earlier than the appt. Stressful process with these minor problems but overall very happy.

ROCKET is not good at providing adequate communication with its clients. You paid a bill (sent me a check to mail to Valley First) that was NOT my bill. The bill is my Ex-wife's. Had you read the divorce decree you would have seen that bill is hers. It is a bill for nearly $12,000. You have so many layers of People involved that I don't know who to talk to. You will NOT actually talk to customers, but rather you want to "chat". The lady you sent out to do the final paperwork was in a big hurry so I couldn't even read the paperwork and she would not leave me a copy of it to go over later. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ROCKET TO ANYONE EVER!!!! One star is generous. They had no rating lower.

All of the Rocket professionals that I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and timely. They are the reason that I have been using Rocket/Quicken for over twenty years. My one issue with the process was the dozens of unsolicited calls from other mortgages brokers after I stated the process with Rocket. Obviously Rocket did not sell my information but the credit scorers - e.g., Experian - must have. Rocket could have warned me ahead of time to look for this intrusion, and I could have blocked further access. Overall it was an positive experience.

As a homeowner, waiting on the my home sale payment from Rocket, I find the company awful and unethical. Four days after closing, Rocket has not sent payment for the sale of my home. This creates an insurance nightmare. The new homeowner is moving into the house, because he legally owns the house after closing, yet, my realtor and I have not received documentation of the home sale nor payment. Rocket has thrown curve balls in the loan process beforehand as well, slowing the process down.

Great to work with, process was great. Helpful agents there the whole way. Great company to work with. Closing process was very easy and only took about 40 minutes with the pre sign feature that was offered. Was able to sign everything before the appointment.

It was good in the beginning when I was dealing with Robert. After that, I dealt with too many people and was told communication was very frustrating. I will not do another mortgage with your company. It would be nice if you had one person to handle the whole procedure instead of 6 or 7 and have misinformation.

I am very happy Things went along very smoothly. Had a little hiccup at the closing. Made a phone call. Instead of closing at 11:00 AM he closed about 3:00 PM which is no big deal. Very happy with the way things turned out. Bit more happy if the rates were a little lower.

Can not believe how easy and fast we were able to make our purchase. From the first phone call with Paul to closing took us about a month and we had the house. Paul's knowledge and help was amazing. Since the house we purchased was for sale by owner he helped us navigate that with the Rocket. Amazing people throughout the process.

Christen **, and Rocket Mortgage, scammed and lied to us about our loan, Christen told us we were getting a different rate and then switched it at the end on PAGE 16. Beware, this guy scammed us out of $18k, you have been warned.

The process was extremely easy from the initial phone call, to uploading documents online through the app, to the closing agent appointment. The whole process took less than a month and we were funded within 5 days of closing. I highly recommend Rocket Mortgage.

Great experience overall. Specialist Brent was a joy to work with. Always responsive to all of my questions. Michelle was also really great. They both responded to my emails in a timely manner, and answered all if my questions and concerns. The follow-up was always detailed and assuring.

I would have never believed that re-financing could be this easy or stress free. From the initial phone call until closing day, Rocket Mortgage and their amazing team of professionals were with my wife and I the entire way. I highly recommend Rocket to anyone who is looking to purchase or re-finance their home.

Rocket mortgage is great. When we got our home in 08 we were one of the last few to get FHA for mobile homes. Over the years I have tried to refinance and after those 2 words (FHA Mobile) everyone stopped immediately. Zionis did not. Now I not saying the process was easy or short, but we continued on. I suggest you look over original paperwork and do some research about FHA/HUD requirements. The website was easy to use but be prepared to check it a LOT! I would check it 3x a day but I would still miss an update. I guess different time zones maybe. I utilized the text feature mostly because the phone lines had a huge wait time especially in the closing part. I waited for 15 minutes according to my phone once then just gave up. But one thing they don't play with is the money we got the money in less than a day after they said. I appreciate rocket mortgage teams that were on my case.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Bogus fees when you call them on it, they won't pay you back. They stopped charging me for my home owners insurance and when I asked why my monthly payment was lowered they twice couldn't tell me. It was only after I went to refi that a company looked at my full statement and alerted me.

This is not our first time working with Rocket and usually it is fast and smooth. At first this time seemed the same. Then errors started happening. We were told we didn't need the appraisal as we had one on file, so we cancelled, only to find out we did have to pay for a new appraisal. Add another two weeks. There have been several other things that added extra time though through no fault of ours. So we finally closed five weeks later instead of the two to three we first thought. That cost money in the loans we were paying off. Especially an extra $600 interest payment which our Rocket banker said they would cover. She has been trying to get this done for two weeks, and had to escalate to management. Now she is out on medical leave, still no money and I'm about done with Rocket. Not sure we'd ever use this company again.

Rocket contacted us for a refinance and we said what the heck, will lower our payment approximately $500. Turns out our debt to income ratio is too high and Rocket declined the refinance. Seems like Rocket has no loyalty to its customers, pretty sure $500 less a month would have lowered our debt to income ratio. We’ve had multiple mortgages with Rocket for many years and never ever missed a payment or been late, not once. We also own investment property outright and have assets. Never again Rocket, you don’t care about us, we don’t care or feel loyal to you.

From the beginning of the inquiry regarding a home equity Ryan was very informative and straightforward and returned my calls on the day and time I asked, no sooner... Was not pushy, which was something I appreciated. He walked me through the application process and submission of documents requested, he explained the next step and the site prompt me through my tasks process all the way to closing. Every person that I had contact with at Rocket Mortgage was respectful, courteous and professional and answered my concerns. The notary at closing was exceptional. Thank you all at Rocket Mortgage for making my experience stress free.

We contacted Rocket Mortgage regarding a Home Equity Loan on 9/24/25 and closed on 10/7/25. This was the fastest and easiest process we have ever had regarding a HEL. Mike ** was amazing, providing us the best program to meet our needs. The rest of the Rocket Mortgage Team did what they had to do to get our loan processed as quickly and efficiently as possible, with really no interruptions/issues. We are very pleased!

We applied for a mortgage refinance with Rocket Mortgage. During the process, we were told we needed an appraisal, and we agreed to and paid $500 for it. The appraisal was completed on September 2, 2025. However, Rocket Mortgage was not upfront about the fact that multiple appraisals would be required. This was not clearly communicated to us at the beginning. Additionally, they were not clear about the type of home we were refinancing — whether it was considered a single-family home or a manufactured home. This lack of clarity led to confusion and ultimately impacted the appraisal process and our ability to move forward.

My Rocket Mortgage experience went quite well. Everything was very fast and convenient. Stu was very helpful when we didn’t understand or had issues with credit reports etc…. Most people have horrible stories when purchasing a home. I can’t say the same. Now, when I tell you make sure you are prepared to send 1000000000000000 documents to be verified, get ready. I respect that, though, because they just want to make sure you are you. Yet overall, no complaints. Rocket Mortgage made my desire manifest!

My experience with Rocket Mortgage was disappointing and felt very sales driven rather than service oriented. From the start, the loan officer repeatedly called me even before I had found a property. His tone felt pushy and inauthentic, like a script, not a real conversation. Once I did find a home and asked for a loan estimate, he continued to request phone calls instead of just emailing it like other lenders had already done. On one call, he had me write down interest rates and monthly payments on paper but didn’t mention anything about closing costs or give me a formal Loan Estimate (LE). When I asked for the actual LE, he responded with, “Well, it’s about 30 lines long, I didn’t want to make you write it down.” That was a huge red flag.

My overall experience was good, for a first time home buyer they could have been more explanatory and helped me understand the process and what to expect more. I was a little overwhelmed, but they did make me feel like I could ask questions any time. As a first time homebuyer, I didn’t know what all to ask. I feel like they could have been a little more proactive.

Very responsive staff. Easy and fast from start to finish. They answered every question quickly and kindly. I would recommend Rocket to anyone. Easy to use online service and documents. They explained the entire process every step of the way. Very happy.

Loan application and process went very smoothly and well. Found all Rocket Mortgage representatives to be very knowledgeable and helpful, from application to closing. Few issues however they were on my end and staff was very helpful and quick to resolve issues. A little excessive on wait/hold times when reaching out by physical phone call. Worst mortgage company period. After fixing numerous errors in the final disclosure, they double paid the property taxes, thus sending my escrow negative and jacked up my payments all because of their bonehead mistake. And now the double payment seems to be lost, meaning I might be out $8000!!

I met Melisa a few months ago while trying to get approved. Melisa was not only exceptional, she always answered my questions either by text or phone. She was always available. Evening and weekend hours made it extra easy to reach her since we are on different time zones. She saw us through three home approval processes because of failed or poor inspection results. She was flexible when it came to approve me vs me and my husband. Even closing was a challenge because we had concerns about closing payments approved by my 401k and. Melisa was hard at work again, crunching numbers to make it happen. She is truly a gem!

Great communication and follow-through. Helped us with every step of the way and made it so easy from start to finish. They even spoke to our realtor and communicated well with him, too. They called to follow up on everything and made sure we had everything we needed.

The representatives I dealt with on a personal (telephone call) basis were EXCELLENT. The Rocket Mortgage Loan experience was mediocre. The personal interactions rate 5 stars, the Rocket Mortgage experience (I will explain below) was 3 stars, that's why I give it 4 stars overall. Explanation: Rocket Mortgage changed the terms of the loan on multiple occasions. Unfortunately for me - and fortunately for them - it just so worked out that the change to the FINAL terms of the loan was such that they lent me the $$ at a higher rate of interest.

I like your rates. What I do not like is the transfer of people throughout the process. Communication through the changes was horrible, notes weren't kept or something was not properly filled out and I had to say everything again. Very frustrating.

I was pleased that Rocket reached out to me suggesting that I could refinance, save on my monthly payment, save $77K over the life of my loan, and pay it off 4 years earlier. I'd been through refinancing with a different company at my old house, and it was PAINFUL. However, this process with Rocket was so easy and everyone a talked to from start to closing was very helpful, not pushy or impatient, and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

PLEASE STOP SENDING ME REVIEWS! Rocket Mortgage lacks customer service and was not interested in my business. My packet was lost and nobody cared for over 48 hrs!! On disbursement day, they realized the error!!! Thanks, I was expecting payment so I could, in turn, pay my contractor. UPS lost the package, then it was FOUND. It didn't matter because the packet was voided. So thankful for that error, which saved me $100,000.

I spoke with five different lenders while shopping for a home loan, and Rocket Mortgage was by far the worst experience. They did not offer me the best rate, and instead of being transparent, they tried to pressure me by saying I had to act quickly because of a “deadline.” I knew this wasn’t true, which immediately felt like a scare tactic. Even a director at Rocket told me, “price is what you pay and value is what you get,” which came across as dismissive and unprofessional rather than helpful.

The process was easy. Got the papers uploaded or sent via email fairly quickly. Once everything was verified the appraisal was scheduled soon after and came in above what we thought, and Rocket suggested additional funds for paying off other things we didn't include in our original refi which is going to work out great. Funds were made available early the first day after the three day waiting period.

Intake was swift. I knew instantly that I had been approved of the loan. I was notified via email to check the Rocket website that was assigned to me. I had tasks to complete (documents to upload). A notary came to my condo to facilitate the signing process.

My entire experience was very stressful on my end but everyone at Rocket Mortgage that I dealt with helped out and made it as smooth of an experience as possible. My only issue was pay off things at the refinance. I feel like that all should of been done at closing and not by giving me checks.

I have a great credit rating with minimal debt and great equity in my home. I was told that I would have a mortgage in no time from the first gentleman I spoke with, "You'll have your money by the end of August." My loan was held up forever in underwriting even though I sent all the information they requested. I sent closing statements from the sale of my previous home and from the purchase of my new home. I sent copies of two wire transfers. The first wire transfer showed the money moving from the title and trust company that handled the sale of my previous home to the title and trust company the handled the purchase of my new home, with names and addresses and amounts included.

We want to express our gratitude to Rocket Mortgage for working with us and making the process easy. We did have a problem on our title that needed work to remove a lot of money we did not owe. Rocket Mortgage was patient and we eventually got it removed and closed on the loan. A big THANK YOU to Alec ** who worked on our loan. We even enjoyed the appraiser who came to the house. My experience with Rocket has been excellent. They did a great job of keeping me updated through the process of obtaining a HELOC loan. The software and human interface were well coordinated and kept me informed about status every step of the way. The agent also worked with me to get this accomplished efficiently and close the deal.

The bankers and credit upgrade team were very professional and efficient. The appraiser was also quick. The closing process was smooth and easy. The entire process was more than pleased. I would highly recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone looking to refinance or take out a home equity loan.

Not sure we would use Rocket again. Things would probably have been better if we had used a local business. We did not like having the contexts change depending on where we were in process, the communication wasn’t great, they literally sent an email at 3 pm 3 days before the closing saying they were pushing out because we didn’t have some paperwork which I obtained by myself within the hour so that we could stay on track. Feels like they could’ve accomplished the same thing by picking up the phone and speaking with the lawyer directly. They also tacked on a loan that apparently had to be paid off at closing but didn’t explain it ahead of time. Just put it in the closing disclosure with no discussion. They also included a rate buy down that was never explained or discussed. Just did it… Wasn’t a great experience and we weren’t all that impressed.

I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't have time to to go to a "traditional" bank or doesn't like having to deal a person trying to find the best solution for them and not me. Rocket made the process so easy I didn't have to take time off work since everything (documentation and information) could be submitted through their app. They were very clear and upfront about what would work best for our situation and helped us get the mortgage.

Rocket Mortgage is very aggressive in inital sales then predatory near closing. They said we are all on track and doing good until 1 business day before closing when they decided that My HOA (Not in my control) needed to cover something extra and if they don't they will change my loan type and it will require much more money down. I'm passed my Loan Commitment deadline and now Tina (Their rep) says they aren't liable if I can't afford financing and lose my Earnest money. Very helpful getting you into a contract that seems too good to be true, will then find something that changes it and makes you either liable to lose a lot to not close (not their faul though somehow) or give them more money to close.

Working with Rocket Mortgage was amazing. I had started a chat with them online when my computer shut down unexpectedly. August called me back and really worked with me to understand the process and complete the information. I could call him any time to answer questions I may have. It was a most seamless process that I’ve ever encountered and everything was included and only had to pay a good faith deposit (that riled into costs). The only only confusion was my work verification. It’s best for Rocket to give you the number to call and have your HR call as Rocket Mortgage couldn’t get in touch with them for 10 days. Pretty easy to work with. I would like to see the credit cards included in refi be paid off directly rather than having to send a check to pay off. Sometimes the due date of credit cards will come before they receive the check and then a late fee may apply.

Can't begin to express how frustrating it is to work with Rocket's escrow department. We had a change to our home owners insurance on the day of closing and after 6 weeks and 10 phone calls it is still not correct. We will be making our first payment $700 over what it should be due to no one in the escrow department seems to be able to read that the insurance policies changed. Each time we reached out we were assured it would be corrected but they just keep putting in the same incorrect information. And each time it seems to take over a week for them to get us a new escrow analysis still with the wrong information. We are still waiting for someone there to do their job correctly. Please if there is anyone at Rocket who can make this correct it would be greatly appreciated.

From the very first call till the money was deposited in our account every single person we dealt with was first rate! Every time we had to talk with anyone, check in on anything, check the website, everything worked seamlessly! Tony was our first contact he could not have been better he was always available, knowledgeable, engaging, and fun to talk to!

I appreciated the time the agent took to explain everything and answer all my questions. The only thing I did not appreciate was they said they were paying off my debts but they didn't. They sent checks and made me do all the work I was paying them to do. I don't have envelopes, stamps, printer ink. A huge hassle. That should have been explained better. Really, it should have been handled by you. I think the thousands you make off this transaction should cover it.

It was horrible. Never once talked to the original person (Dina) after starting the loan. The communication with the loan people and Rocket Mortgage was none at all. Kept asking for papers that my original loan had. Half the time I had no clue what they were asking for. I am not computer literate so that was no help. I almost cancelled it several times. But Alex who did my first loan was awesome, so I battle through this. I never had a problem with Rocket Mortgage before, so I wanted to stay with you. You need to make refinancing a lot easier. I took out roughly $ 20,000,00 more than my original loan and to be put through all the drama and length it took was ridiculous. In almost 4 years I have paid $ 45,000.00 on my equity. Sad experience.

The process was easy and we went from application to closing in 6 business days. The only reason I give a 4 star review is one of Rocket’s partners or maybe it is Rocket sold our information. Since approval for the loan and the credit pull, I am getting 65 spam calls a day regarding refinancing. We only applied with Rocket for the home equity loan.

As I've stated previously, buying a new home is not only stressful but scary as well. Working with Scott G. made the process a little less stressful. Although, I wished Rocket provided more than what they did, it was no fault of Scott's. He worked hard to provide me with the best possible deal.

Rocket Mortgage was very easy and efficient to deal with. They were helpful throughout the loan process. I was a previous customer with Rocket and Quicken Loans. My loan process was about 42 days. The initial contact and 2nd stage were awesome as far as customer service. Underwriting was the longest part for me, maybe my personal situation. There could have been better contact with that part, but overall my experience was a 10/10!

For the most part it is really simple and an overall good experience. I was asked what my home was worth and I guessed not realizing the offer was based on what I said. Then after the appraisal came in lower than I guessed, it changed the numbers by 20K, which was very frustrating. So maybe avoid that in the future. I thought the process of having a ROV done was extremely difficult. When I was told what I had to do it was confusing and when I said it was too much, Ms. ** just said we should close the loan request.

The whole process was quick and easy, Michael did an outstanding job taking us through the process. From there, it was a quick closing and payout. The rates were fair market value too! Definitely will use Rocket again for my financial needs. Way to go Rocket!

Nicholas ** made it happen. We have a lot of concerns but he took care of us. He went above and beyond and will be always gratefully for taking care of us. Probably my 4th refi and can’t complain. Also a big kudos to the attorney's office that took care of the closing.

The loan went quickly and as we were told. Everything went as expected and as we were told. Everyone we dealt with was very knowledgeable and understanding and seemed to be very knowledgeable about everything that we needed and what was going to happen.

Felt like the process was riddled with issues. Called multiple times to try and understand a timeline of any kind. Finally was approved to schedule the closing and was delayed by 3 days because a form was forgotten. On the second attempt, the closing forms weren't loaded into the right system and so the closing was rescheduled again. At the third attempt, the agent's Wi-Fi hotspot wouldn't work. I literally had to use my phone as a data Hotspot in order to complete the signing.

This entire process with Rocket Mortgage has been smooth sailing from start to finish. Every single person that I encountered was amazing. The process was quick and painless. There was always someone there to answer my questions, no matter how many that I had. I never felt rushed or like I was a bother. If you’re looking to refinance or needing a loan, these are your people. I would give them five stars, but they deserve more.

My recent refinance experience through Rocket Mortgage. While the process began with what appeared to be competitive rates, low costs, and an efficient structure, my overall experience has left me frustrated and disappointed for several reasons.

Everyone I encountered was professional polite and did their best to be helpful. Once we got started everything happened quickly. The online portal was great and was always up-to-date with information. It made it very easy to submit documents and it was always clearly communicated what was needed. The closing process was the easiest I had ever experienced.

The loan system is easily accessible, and its process is both transparent and easy to navigate. The loan process was very fluid and refinancing is an option which allows us to save money of the term of the loan. Everyone should have this option and be able to access these resources.

Rocket Mortgage saved the day! I was drowning in debt and felt like I had nowhere to turn. In a last ditch effort I applied for a refinance to consolidate my overwhelming debt. I now have 1 low month payment and enough disposable income to live comfortably. The process was fairly quick and mostly done online. The only negative I had was that checks were sent to pay my creditors. In a digital world this was a little inconvenient and costly to send the checks, not to mention the stress of hoping they get there.

Honestly this loan was way harder than it should have been. Delay after delay. Multiple times I was given the wrong information or incomplete information. Although your employees are very personable and friendly. Frequently I was given the wrong information. At least once I was told that I would be receiving $10,000 more at closing than I actually did. And multiple times I was told that I should be closing on a certain date, only for that date to come and go by. My actual closing date was several weeks later. When I asked about these discrepancies they denied telling me what they told me. However due to a bitter divorce I went through. All of my phone calls both coming and going are recorded. I was able to go back to those calls and verify that they HAD given me the wrong information. I don't think it was done maliciously. I think they just try real hard to tell the customer what they think they want to hear and not necessarily the way it really is.

From start to finish Rocket Mortgage was great, Sebastian was amazing. He knew what needed to be done to keep the process rolling very quickly and he kept me informed all the way through. With the new technology rocket mortgage uses it was real convenient to do closing via Zoom call. I would refer everyone to rocket mortgage.

The process started off as I expected similar to my previous 10 mortgage loans. Unfortunately, the tasks became very tedious due to lack of clear website instructions and excessive data collection for a person currently holding a Rocket Mortgage. I clearly submitted assets well in excess of the loan applied for. However, I was asked to submit several other asset documents that Rocket clearly knew existed but did not ask for initially. My contact person also did not indicate I would be required to upload this additional data for the loan application.

Rocket Mortgage made the transaction as easy as possible. Always there to answer questions about the progress of the loan, and happy to help. The Dashboard tool is a great way to let us know what steps were next, and what was needed from us. Thank you for a great experience!

It was ridiculous how long it took to receive the loan - 4 months. I called many a time and my loan officer said he would call me back and didn’t. Plus, he neglected to tell me what I needed to submit if they were waiting on it. I learned to use the app, as I was getting no help. Then, to top it all off, I was told my creditors would be paid directly through you. This was not the case. Instead, I received a bunch of checks in the mail and had to take 3 hours to look up account numbers and addresses. Plus, my student loan wasn’t due until 2030, yet it was taken out too.

I am always leery about refinancing. We decided to get a home equity loan to ease fiances. Rocket Mortgage made the process very easy. Everyone was helpful that I worked with during the process. It is always nice to have friendly customer service. It did take approximately 30 days.

As with any loan, getting paperwork together can be a bear. The folks I dealt with were patient with us. I do feel like there was too many different people involved in the process, however everyone was pleasant. They didn’t sugarcoat what was necessary to qualify and worked very hard on getting me through the process.

It was great working with Rocket Mortgage and Peter **. Any time I had a question all I had to do was text Peter and he answered all my questions. My account is always easy to manage. All my paperwork is in one place. All the numbers no matter how many times they changed were always in the end correct. I really felt very comfortable with all that has happened and forever grateful to Peter. He was always there for me and very knowledgeable on the process and any bumps we might incur. It was a good experience overall. I found that the issuance of checks to payoff debt to be a nuisance. There are to many steps to take when the check arrives. If they were made out to the specific debtor and the checks could be taken to store, easier.

Passed around to toooo many people. Repeatedly sending same documents. Too many times we get, "You need to do 3 task or e sign." Do them. Few days later get same thing "Do these task". Finally get to speak to someone. "Oh we got those." Then pops up again, "We need this." And I called to see when we could count on getting our money. Suppose to be 29th. Still don't have it. "Oh well you should have made sure before the holiday hit. All the bills you were to pay." I'm concerned to call them in the morning because I'm sure they didn't get paid either. Who's responsible for the late fees cuz I'm sure we had things planned out because I have to have heart surgery the 16th. Had a guy gonna work us in to get better bathroom easy access for me. Get it done for us. A bed that raises up and down because I can't use my arms to push myself up for about 6 weeks after an our little trip we were going to do.

It is because you, Rocket Mortgage, are "ready to help" we, my wife and I, were able to apply for and get approved for a home equity loan. I wasn't sure it would happen but from the start you assured me it would. Thank you so much for working with us and helping us to close the loan in such a timely and painless fashion. I have sung your praises before and will continue to tell others of how professional, and friendly you made the process for us. We are also thankful you didn't make us feel guilty for having to consolidate our credit card debt and still have enough pocket change for a much needed vacation. Thankful Rocket made the process easy wherever possible. Customer service was responsive and helpful as could be. A few different times we had extremely long phone wait times, but it's easy to imagine a less complicated/more typical customer would not have needed to make those phone calls at all. When we complained about the phone wait, our feedback got a response. All in all, very happy and would recommend.

Although I am thankful for the loan...I would have to say communication needs to be better !!the steps on the portal is ok...but there been weeks I heard nothing!.. Then dealing with up to 4 different representatives from Rocket...? I know my loan was a little tricky due to my divorce…but with this whole process, I felt out of the loop!!.. I had to make the calls to find out the progress. Kind of disappointed with that...and I thought it took a long time from start to closing.

Our experience with Rocket Mortgage was extremely satisfying. After analyzing alternatives, we chose to again refinance with Rocket. The terms were good; the service was excellent, timely and accurate; and the process was completed in minimum time with a minimum of effort.

I spoke to him again and mentioned my concern with the reviews. He took the time to talk and explain so I decided to try. The entire process could not have been and simpler. We had one hiccup but it was not Rocket's fault. John was in contact and helped along the way. Very happy. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone.

They were not honest with me regarding what type of loan I could qualify for. If you look closely, they do their best to limit reviews to only people who have established loans with them. They are very aggressive and misleading when they are trying to gain you as a customer.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage has been disappointing and frustrating. Initially, they gave me a sense of approval and requested a large number of documents, which made me feel optimistic about the process. After three days of searching for a home, I was informed that they would not be granting me the loan and that I needed to be removed from it. What’s most frustrating is that, despite knowing all the details of my financial situation, they did not hesitate to run my credit, which affected my score. I was led to believe I could obtain a loan, and then they dropped me at a crucial moment. I feel like they didn't care about my situation and acted irresponsibly in handling my application. I would not recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone looking for a reliable and transparent service. My experience has been quite the opposite.

An experience that should have been exciting was made to be the absolute worst I have had to endure, I no longer had any interest in purchasing the home. I was given inaccurate information the entire time, the loan officer, Kristina ** is a Blatant LIAR. I escalated my issue only to have them promise me that someone else would be taking over and ultimately that also didn't happen. I was put in an embarrassing predicament of having to borrow money for closing because my amount increased by 5k literally the night before. I do not recommend this company at all.

All I can say is Awesome meaning the step following to closing was great and in fast time. There was a lot less items needed to made this happen. Rocket's team was great and very helpful. It was a great opportunity to have had you to do my refinance.

My local Wells Fargo branch was familiar with the rocket funding process and made for a smooth transaction on this end.

Had a very positive experience with Rocket and Jackson **. A few hiccups delayed the closing by two days but it gave me an incentive to pursue dealing with that item that I thought was cleared up in my credit report. We came up with a temporary solution that was acceptable to me.

We sold our house to someone who used Rocket Mortgage as their lender. They have rescheduled the closing three times and still not closed, strictly for buyer paperwork reasons… Please do not use this horrible lender…. Either for your mortgage or the sake of the sellers.
