When we purchased our home in 2019, these guys were so easy to deal with! Fast responses and we closed on our house in 21 days from the date of signing the purchase agreement. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a home. They made a stressful situation pleasant.

Our experience working with Rocket Mortgage was good. We had a great support team that kept us informed throughout the whole process. The team was very professional and knew their jobs well. From the very beginning, Rocket Mortgage provided outstanding and knowledgeable service. LaVelton ** was excellent. He makes customers believe he enjoys his occupation. He is professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He was a constant contact and obviously on top of our submissions. Whenever we had a question, he was always responsive. I wish to thank Matt for how much time, effort, and creativity he put into finding a path through my very unusual early retirement situation that other lenders told me was simply not feasible. His diligence in researching detailed qualification rules to find options and taking time on a conference call with my financial advisor allowed us to arrive at a mortgage plan. I do not know how much internal churn there was, but plenty of work was visible on my end. And in, I presume, a higher-volume industry, so the personal attention is greatly appreciated.

Our 2 loans we have, thru our bank were supposed to be paid off, as I looked today they still have a balance. I am not very happy about this, it was all written up together. If things take a bit longer than expected just have someone reach out to me and let me know.

We had a good experience working with Rocket because of Roxanne ** who was always professional, responsive, and extremely helpful. She was absolutely amazing to work with, and I cannot say enough about how grateful we are to have worked with her. The rest of those we worked with either did not have a significant role in working directly with us or were less than helpful.

Everyone that I had the pleasure of working with was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process! When I needed help gathering and uploading documents Zach helped me get it done. The process was quick and easy to navigate. The team that helped Zach was great and stepped in when he was busy. This company is so awesome!

Everything has gone smoothly so far, but a deposit has not been made. Hopefully, it gets deposited before I have to close on my investment property. Rocket Mortgage has support staff that are very helpful during the application process. I was out of the area when I started the application, I recommend that you have your proof of income (W-2 information) with you at the start.

My experience with RM handling my payments out of my escrow account has been POOR. 2 years in a row, they have sent my homeowner's insurance prem with very little time to arrive by the due date. The first time it did not arrive by the due date so I had to pay it out of my pocket, and once my insurance company received RM check, they refunded my payment back to me. When calling RM about this, they apologized and said there was a mix up. Not sure how, but I left it alone.

Unfortunately, I had no choice to move to Rocket Mortgage as my loan was sold to them to service the account. We decided to pay off the loan 30 days after Rocket began servicing us and the escrow company without our authorization racked up hundreds of dollars of penalties by requesting multiple payoff statements. Rocket never notified that the penalties were accruing as well as never sending us their policy when they took over our account. Beware of this company they will rocket you to the poor house.

Dave ** was extremely helpful in refinancing my home. He made the experience easy and without complications. I would recommend him to anyone looking for any kind of loan assistance. He was always available if I were to have a question regarding my loan. Again extremely helpful always. He is great.

My whole experience with Rocket was awesome! Michael my rep was great! When he was out of office the whole team made sure me and Chelsey were good. Macon was EXCELLENT as well with my closing info. Overall I WILL be recommending Rocket and will be using them in the future!

My overall experience was excellent from start to finish. Each person I spoke with was both professional and patient with the process and not pushy. I would highly recommend that my friends and family use Rocket Mortgage. Should I ever need to get another loan, I too will use them again.

Robert ** and his team were outstanding. Very impressive and professional service guided me through every phase of the process of my cash out refinance. I have an older home and getting the necessary approval for a VA loan proved to be challenging in regard to the rigorous standards the VA adheres to for the physical standard of the home. Robert ** guided me through the end. I am grateful for their dedication and hard work. I most definitely will not hesitate to use them again if given the opportunity.

My overall experience was great. There were times where I felt in the dark about my loan progress/ status. The appraiser the company hired definitely under appraised my property which ultimately excluded me from the benefits of having a conventional loan. Towards the end of my whole journey communication from the processor Lillian, was flawless and even when there was a setback she made me feel comfortable and confident that all will be well. To be completely honest I was about to go to another lender midway but I am happy I stuck Rocket.

Overall, the process for taking out the 2nd lien HELO was very seamless. I was able to fully close in about 2 weeks and very little was required of me throughout the process. The banker took the time to understand my needs and goals and put together a plan that made great sense! The additional processors from closing and UW were also very helpful and answered questions promptly. The only issue I ran into is when I tried to set up my closing date, when entering bank information, the system wouldn't accept the account and prompted me to call. I just feel like a message could come up to discuss how these banks put in firewalls and the why.

It was a great process from start to finish. The guy helping through the way was Ricardo **. He helped me anytime I have a question or just checking up on here things were going. He was a big part on me buying a house through Rocket Mortgage. I was just calling just to get a quote, but the information and experience he had convinced me to go with Rocket Mortgage.

Overall, I wish we could have come to an agreement. My situation changed dramatically one day after closing. I needed my team more than ever. They said I canceled the mortgage because I refused to make a phone call. That is true to a point. What I asked for, the team did not step up and participate with me in making that call. I wanted someone to be on the line with me as had been done a few times before. It seemed as though once I closed, I was not privy to the terms help other than giving me a phone number to call. I needed someone to be with me up and to my third day to refuse. What I gathered was my question wouldn’t change a thing anyway. I didn’t want to make the call alone, so I didn’t call.

Dealing with your company is Just amazing and refreshing and very easy to accommodate us in all we needed. Your customer service people were pleasant and Tod was great in explaining everything we needed to complete our refinance. I am sorry, can't think of any other words to print to describe how incredible you all are.

Abbey ** was a Rockstar. I informed her of my reservations with the refinance due to my terrible experience with another loan company. She guided me through the refinance process and it was so easy. She made me feel so comfortable. She reassured me and held me through the whole process.

Rocket Mortgage makes the whole borrowing experience easy--as easy as a complicated transaction can get. Since I had my tax returns and other data at hand, the whole process was done in one phone call. There were a few tiny follow-ups. But overall dealing with Rocket is a great experience.

My suggestion is to do the appraisal early on in the process. I had to put a new roof on the detached garage. This prolong the whole process. Every time I turn something in there was some little something that was a right and I had to redo it. To be honest, I was very frustrated by the time we closed.

My experience with obtaining a mortgage through Rocket Mortgage was very good. The originator, Yaritza, was able to help with all of my concerns and guided me to the best options. I did not have much interaction with the two other persons who contacted me, Joe and Belgica, as they were only informing me of the current status. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage for someone looking to finance.

I had an excellent experience dealing with Rocket Mortgage. From start to closing it was only 30 days, I was kept informed every step along the way. The exchange of information was very easy to upload and check the progress of the process. My representative was very friendly and professional and responsive to my calls.

The start of the relationship wasn't great. I missed out on my referred Condo which sold for 160k due to misinformation. This sucks because my condo cost 165k. I wasn't informed that my wife was required to be at closing due to Ohio Law. I was only informed 3 days to closing. This cost me about $400 trying to secure a POA and express delivery. Not good. That info should have been mentioned upfront, not last minute. I am happy that I closed on my 1st home but the experience could have been better.

From start to finish this was the easiest process I have ever been involved with when it comes to such a big transaction. I was informed every step of the way and never really had to leave my office chair to get it all done. Everyone was very nice, didn't waste any time, and pushed this through in less than a month. I've received a marketing call from Rocket Mortgage. I've told the representative up-front I am not interested in any offers above 5% APR. She wasn't honest in the initial phone call with her promises they can make 5%. And in the last call instead of saying "sorry, we cannot offer 5% now", she tried to sell me 7.5% refinance product which would increase the cost of the loan by more than 200K. Very dishonest and waste of time. Such conduct will put your company out of business.

Excellent attention to detail, timely, efficient agent. Extremely helpful. Looking forward to doing business with if the need arises again. Agent was looking out for me and my needs. A plus to Conor. Would recommend him to anyone who asks. He was patient and solved any problem that arose. I was confused at times and he talked me through my doubts and am very satisfied with the transaction.

I have had the best experience ever with Jesse **. He went over and beyond to explain things, share knowledge and coast me through the process. EVERYTHING was PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, and COURTEOUS. Maryana ** and her team were always knowledgeable, Respectful, and Friendly and always asked if there was anything else or made suggestions about what I needed or was unsure of. I was ALWAYS impressed with whomever I talked to and it did not not matter when I called. There was always someone to help. They dispelled any thoughts about this being an uncomfortable experience and I would and will highly recommend them to anyone I might know that are looking for this kind of service. The Closing online didn't go well but my Closer let me know I could get a in person Notary. He called and set time and things went so smooth. The Appraisal part helped me get things in order. Yes, I am going to give Rocket Mortgage a five star review. On top of that a 10 that review the mortgage lender. I spoke with Mr. ** a Mortgage lender with the Rocket mortgage & he went above and beyond to help me to help my parents refinance their home. We were on the phone for over two hours. Answered every question, was kind and patient especially working with elderly people and I truly appreciate it. There were a number of things that were asked for that required quite a bit of back and forth to explain. I had been through a chapter 13 bankruptcy and they kept asking for evidence of mortgage payments made through the trustee when the mortgage payments were made directly to the lender.

We had a great experience with Rocket Mortgage. We were struggling to make ends meet every month and felt like the credit card debt was eating us alive, but with the Home Equity loan we were able to almost cut our expenses in half! It was such a relief to know that we could get back on track and not feel as though we would never see the light again. Thanks Rocket Mortgage!!!

Their customer service is terrible!!! When you go to a supervisor it gets even worse. Katherine ** is of no help whatsoever and unfortunately she says she is at the top. Do not use this company for anything!!! There are many other mortgage companies that are way better than this one. Needed a check endorsed as I have already put out monies for repairs and the fastest they can turn around a check is 7-10 days and that's not guaranteed. Well; l guess kids won't eat for that long. I put in my phone number just to get a estimate on what the rate would be on a certain mortgage price and I am sleeping the next morning and I get 3 calls while I am sleeping. 3 CALLS. They woke me up and didn't seem to care about actually getting my business if they are going to be that rude by calling me 3 times in a row in the early morning when I am not answering. Sorry when I actually get to buying a home then you will not be getting my business.

I took my time to write this review as this company is really special. They lie to you from the beginning with the soft credit pull. I had a rep by the name Joseph take my call and he clearly advised that this over the phone would be a soft credit pull. Well guess what? No it was not. The minute he pulled it I got an email from all my bureaus and got hit with inquiries in all three and my credit dropped. So be very careful as they will use anything to get you in and Joseph was also very rude requesting information. No one should be asking when you are just shopping around to use your best option. Do not use this company and I advise for you to do your research beforehand.

Bait and switch. I filled out a form to view rates (they obviously vary per product) like the ad said. It very clearly said view rates at several steps. In the end they would only call you. Nothing about rates. Deceptive on purpose. I will NOT get my Heloc or refi with a company like that.

I went to fund.com and I came across this company Rocket Mortgage on the website so I decided to give them a try. We live in southern California so nothing is really I would say cheap here. I entered all my information, a lady contacted me today around 1:36PM pacific time and she was nice, said she was going to transfer me to a the right agent who helps first home buyers. I said perfect not a problem!

This people run my wife's and I credit 800+ then asked for taxes to validate income 150k+ and because we have declared some losses, they offer me a loan with 25% down for a 400k single family home after they have offered me a 5% down because our excellent credit. Not sure if it was our last name (**) or what that triggered this change, so I got my Rico down because if the inquiry and no loan.

I have had the displeasure of dealing with this company twice now and I never will again. Most recently they reached out to see if I was interested in a Home Equity loan due to the value of my home skyrocketing. I want to do some remodeling so I said yes. I go through all the steps with the initial loan officer. It takes weeks. He ghosts me. Another random officer calls and I have to give her all the information I provided the first person with plus new information on my student loans. The first guy told me that it wasn’t necessary and they wouldn’t factor in. Guess what. They did and my loan was denied. A loan THEY asked ME if I wanted. They wasted weeks of my time for absolutely no reason. Horrible service. Horrible company. DO NOT USE THEM.

I don't recommend Rocket Mortgage, they apparently don't know what they are doing. I got all the information they needed, I was told I approved with these great rates. In the end it was all lies. I was not approved and now the agent won't respond to me.

I inquired about their rates, and they assured me it would be a soft inquiry. However, Rocket Mortgage lied, and my FICO score dropped by 26 points. These people are crooks. Do not deal with rocket mortgage.

I reached out to Rocket Mortgage in order to make a purchase. During our conversation, Nate **—who called himself a loan doctor—was present. I gave my employer an explanation of the complexities and the means by which my employment had to be validated. I also informed him that, should the need arise, I had rental property that I could use for revenue. I also told Nate that I had taken a few leaves of absence over the previous few years. He replied, "Oh no, we don’t want to use that because it’s going to complicate a loan." Four days before the closure, they attempt to conduct an employment verification.

They are BOMBARDING my phone with call after call after I've been telling them I am not interested and I am on the national do not call registry. The guy on the phone said "Well I just checked it and I don't see your name". THEN proceeds to call again and again back to back.

Rocket mtg delayed my insurance escrow payment which I now have lapse in insurance. Unacceptable on every level. The lady I spoke with when questioning the lateness of this payment along with lapse of insurance actually hung up on me. Very professional behavior. She should be fired.

Predatory mortgage company. Really horrible customer service agents who believe they are God, and lie through their teeth. I didn't even choose to work with them, my loan was transferred-- in the past 20 years, this is the most predatory company with abusive escrow practices. Their, "end-of-the-line" agent-God informed me that I could refinance with a different company to escape their predatory practices. Thanks Kim!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CRIMINALS! They will take your money and turn you down at the end. Paid my earnest money deposit and at closing they told me they wouldn't give me the loan based on the age of house. They knew the age of the house from day one. They literally waited for me to give them my earnest money deposit and immediately turned me down once they had the money and refused to refund it. How is this not illegal?

Worst experience of all of the financial institutions I had to work with when my friend passed away. First it took weeks before I could get access to the mortgage. They assessed late fee of $27 because his loan payment was late because we didn’t know it had to be paid until we got access to all of his finances. I called someone yesterday to address this fee and Dustin called me back today and began arguing with me about why they could not refund the $27.

I am a current Rocket customer, and have been largely happy with their service. However, I recently clicked ONE BUTTON on their website, and these people simply will not stop contacting me. When one stops, another one starts. This latest guy, even after being told to stop contacting me, just won’t give up. When it does come time to take out some equity against my home, this has guaranteed that I will not be working with Rocket. Absolutely pests.

Started home buying process in end of March 2024. Had high 600 rating, wife's was mid 600's. Got assigned to 1 person that. Another, then a 3rd. Each time none of them knew what the other had done. Then they hit my credit report 6 times in 1 month dropping it, which they then complained about my score drop. So we moved forward after that. Sent deposit, then they stopped answering emails and started demanding proof of everything and anything we did. If I took money out why? Or put it in. They constantly requested the same documents over and over cause o one shared them with their team. We get to closing and they pulled from deal at last minute. Will never use them again.

They are misleading. They advertise that you can search rates. I filled out all the information only to have it prompt that my agent will call me. Then an email was sent to start an application. Can you say untruthful and misleading!

Horrible customer service, never kept me updated. I always had to call in and find out the status of my loan. No one ever knew what the next steps were. They rely on their online portal too much which is never updated. I strongly recommend not using them for any type of loans.

Terrible bank. They denied me during closing date week. They asked me for all the documentation. I sent it over and over and when it was time to close they denied and wasted my money. Already paid for appraisal.

Absolutely a horrible experience. Ask for the loan to be loaded and it wasn't done then at the end of the year when my insurance policy renewed they started charging me for insurance that I had to provide proof of insurance again and customer service lied to you and treat you like a **.

I contacted Rocket Mortgage looking to do a purchase. I talked with Nate ** Who referred to himself as a loan doctor. I explained the complexity with my employer and the way my employment needed to be verified. I also let him know that I had rental property that could be used as income if needed. I also informed Nate that I have been on several leave of absence in the past couple of years. He stated, "Oh no, we don’t want to use that because it’s going to complicate a loan." It’s four days before closing and they try to do a verification of employment. They spoke with my HR department and requested for them to send an email back to confirm the details of my employment. My HR department tried over 10 times and her email was blocked by rocket server, the verification team decided to use the work number.

The "President's Club" mortgage banker I was linked to is Brian **. He would be tardy with his follow-ups, consistently. I once had his manager involved and thereafter he was still tardy. He was sociable via telephone, would call me during the weekends just to shoot the breeze, but when it came to doing actual work - he showed himself to be incompetent. Just like the "in network" realtors they will assign to you if you want more closing cost credits. Brian just could not get my case off the ground, which showed his lack of expertise and follow-through. He has been an 8 month, colossal waste of time. At what point do you take lack of regard for the situation as more heavily weighted than amiability? By this point, I am offended by Brian. People just don't care or understand the gravity of your situation and so they deserve every bit of suffering life throws at them. Their lack of regard is what holds people who are trying, back.

I am a seasoned investor and purchased many homes before, with an stellar credit score, paid at least 4 mortgages off during my lifespan, I am under 45 years old, have all the docs needed to get a loan approved on my jump drive, great proof of income on W2. And yet contacted Julian ** from Rocket Mortgage, send all docs required, did not hear back, send multiple messages and emails, documented everything, never heard back but only Ai's generated messages, went to another mortgage company I used in the past 2 times, they got me approved within 2 weeks, I am all set to close now. :) I heard from someone on my job that Rocket was okay so decided to give it a try, but obviously wasted my time, if I had to be waiting on my Rocket lender to reply to me I would have lost that real estate deal!! Thank Goodness I had a plan B, feel bad for the 1st timers who don't have a plan B and stay stuck with bad lenders like Rocket.

Avoid Rocket Mortgage at all costs!!.. on May 23, 2024 - I was scheduled to close on a home first time purchasing a home by myself in a 55+ community. I am a hard-working, senior citizen working in the nursing field. I worked and took care of Covid residents while many stayed home. Did everything right, everything that Rocket Mortgage asked me to do. 10 days before closing they were sending me letters saying everything is good. "We’re all good. Send this. Go ahead with closing costs to your attorney. Send this to your realtor and send this to the sellers realtor. We’re good to close. Everything looks good."

The man I was connected to was so far offing his knowledge and understanding of manufactured homes and the processes. It was not a good start and do not want to do business with this incapable person. He wouldn't listen, just wanted to talk.

If I could I would leave 0 stars they messed up on our financing twice. The 2nd house we found they made us pay down all our debt to 0 which defaulted our loan after we paid earnest money and appraisal towards the house we wanted to buy. The first time they failed to add the taxes into our loan estimate which also we paid earnest money into. So $6000 later they said we could not get approved for a loan when we were a week from closing after originally saying we were approved and everything was ready to go. The 2nd time we specifically asked if we were good to go before we paid the earnest money in and Logan ** said yes everything is good to go.

Was run around and around for almost a month. My credit from all 3 agencies is above their so called requirements. Their score was never close to all 3 credit agencies. Now with a hard inquiry my score dropped and they blew me off. Disappointed and disgusted. Went with my bank, higher interest rate but more honest.

Absolutely unethical practices and a very unprofessional experience. Would not recommend and will never do business with them again. They were not skilled professionals and mispresented our mortgage agreement. When we brought to their attention, they did nothing to rectify the situation. I guess they only care about the transaction and not building trust or long term relationships.

They call themselves mortgage experts. Redic. Don't send me a higher interest rate than the one I have. This was after a call/ text message. Did they even look at my file? They would see this was not to my advantage. Watch out. They ask you to sign on mailed correspondence. We are seniors & feel they were trying to take advantage of us. Scam alert!

Unfortunately I had a poor conversation with a lender with this company. Abruptly ending a conversation when I had multiple questions. Mohamad **, was rude and dismissive. I do not recommend Rocket Mortgage if lenders cannot be patient to answer questions.

Rocket Mortgage team made stupid mistake and cause all kinds of headaches for me. 1) The employment verification team sent someone else's documents to my employer, 2) documents I previously provided with correct phone number and email address where ignored. Wrong number were called from google. Emails were sent to incorrect address delaying the entire process. I should have went with a different mortgage company. 8 years ago rocket mortgage did my previous mortgage, but the company is nowhere near the same quality any longer. Very disappointed and frustrated with my closing team.

Rocket Mortgage screwed up an attempt to purchase a home sooo bad, it was almost lost. As the buyer, had found many of their mistakes, pointed it out to them, calculation errors-misread a paycheck as a monthly check rather than a 2 week check, handed in paperwork late to title company causing delay in closing, LIED about paperwork & what was promised, & when. Thank God every text saved & could send them a screenshot to catch them in their lie. NEVER EVER USE ROCKET MORTGAGE, you’ll thank me. The one used was in Arizona, often did not answer call, return messages for days. It's was awful, horrible, frustrating, time lost at work. Sickening.

I will never work with Rocket Mortgage again. They focus on the scope of their interests and that's it. They ran my credit into the ground by doing multiple hard inquiries that exceeded credit 14 day limit and acted as if refinancing comes with no penalties. They are inexperienced and do not care about their customers.

I was originally preapproved by Rocket Loans, but when I told them my house would be built they said they didn’t do those types of loans. The mortgage company I went with said the initial financing through my builder is done by the builder and should have been treated like a regular mortgage and not like a construction loan, so they lost out. I was very disappointed the broker didn’t do more discovery. We ended up going with a home that was already built and a lender that was more knowledgeable.

Do not do business with Rocket Mortgage. We were working with them for the purchase of a condo. Everything was fast and smooth and we had a closing date. Then at the last hour they got the appraisal and we were informed of some law regarding ownership in Florida. Because of this appraisal we were denied our loan. Fast forward - we have a new lender but Rocket has been uncooperative with them regarding transference of Appraisal. After contacting the President someone reached out and it was finally transferred, Now come to find out the original appraisal is incorrect and that we were denied based off of that. We paid well over $450 for the appraisal and it's incorrect? Now we find out that Rocket specifically in their notes to Amrock (appraisal co) advised them not to correct their error. This is outrageous! A big company as Rocket and yet so unprofessional. Do not use Rocket. They have now cost us time and money.

We have had a mortgage with Rocket Mortgage co for almost 5 years and were never once late or delinquent on our payments. We have also paid off a personal loan for $15,000 with this company. We were just denied a home equity loan due to a discrepancy with a payment history that happened because the payment increased and they neglected to take it out of our bank, the issue was resolved when my husband called to ask why it was not taken out. The agent gave me a phone number for the underwriters could call to verify that the discrepancy was no fault of ours. But we were still denied the loan. We were also very unhappy with the customer service with Jennifer **.

RM contacted me concerning a refi loan on my property. Right before closing date, I was contacted that due to new guidelines, and to protect their investors, the loan was being denied. My property which they already held the mortgage on was no longer the type of property that could be loaned on. The only thing that had changed from the original loan as far as worthiness was my property value had increased. Would this not be something their investors would consider? I have gone from a completely satisfied customer to looking for someone else to hold the mortgage on my home. Oh, when asked about my the current mortgage status, I was told there was not issue with that. I could continue paying. Yea I bet!

We have had Rocket Mortgage for years and have not only never missed a payment we over pay every single month. This year our escrow went up and it made our $2000 payment $6 short. We get a message that our credit report has taken a hit and when we check we find out Rocket Mortgage had reported our March payment was 30 days past due even though they received and listed the $2000 payment. According to them because it was $6 short they "held" the payment and didn't apply it! This is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. We have had them on bill pay and have never missed a payment but for $6 they want to not apply a $2000 payment and hit our credit?!!! So we are done, we are about to sell this house and building a new one that cost 4 times as much. So Rocket Mortgage is being paid off and they won't see a penny of any future mortgage we may have. Hope the $6 was worth it!

These people don’t do anything but sell you a dream. I have applied to them twice. I have a good credit score and I have over 100,00 in equity in my house but because I won’t refinance they won’t give me a personal loan. This is giving people false hope. Bottom line if you really need help don’t go to Rocket Mortgage.

I just had a terrible experience with Ricardo from Rocket Mortgage. Was trying to get some equity loan. At the best he was nice and gave me options. At the end he was trying to convert the balance I have with 3.5 interest to a 6.785 interest, making it look was better a lower payment. etc. When I told him the next day how wrong he was trying to do with my loan, he got defensive and told me he couldn't help me anymore. Same day I got the loan at a different bank without hassle. They mislead people. Be careful.

Rocket Mortgage - DO NOT WORK WITH ROBERT **!!!! Agents want to earn your business and will tell you ANYTHING you want to hear and to get you to sign on the dotted line. This unfortunately was the same outcome with Rocket. Robert was impossible to contact unless they are needing something from you. Always blaming others for "misunderstanding" and "someone else giving wrong information". Being how large Rocket Mortgage is I thought I would have a better experience. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to work with Robert ** at Rocket Mortgage. Wish I would have gone another route, Robert is full of nonsense and ready to tell you anything you want to hear to avoid losing a deal. Avoid Robert at all costs.

I have asked RM to stop calling after many many calls. Now I continue to get emails which ask me to opt out yet will not allow me to enter my info for them to Stop emailing me. They will blow your inbox up. Be careful before you call.

As a fully disabled US Veteran, I went to them for a new VA loan, they misled, made so many false statements, kept changing rates, fees, costs and more. Would never trust them ever again, when I spoke and met with VA Loan staffers and 3 other banks for Veteran loans and refinancing all said be "Caution" with ROCKET as they lead you on, and take your money and still have not refunded it, I cancelled it within a few days and got so many conflicting statements. I would never use or even think of using them for Veterans.

I switched from a FHA to conventional loan was given the choice to pay my taxes or have it in my payment. I said pay it myself doing everything over line is not recommended. They lie and say what you want to hear to make the sale, here I am now with a 2700 payment because according to them my taxes were short so now my payments went up when I was told I could be responsible for my own taxes, that's not what they did.... run, stay away from this company, not trustworthy and their word means nothing!!!

Not to be trusted. I was lead down a rabbit hole by Rocket Mortgage to help me refinance my home in an attempt to purchase my exwife's equity. After sending them documents and jumping through hoops for them they continuously gave me worse terms until it no longer made sense to even get the loan. In addition to this they made me pay them $820 for an appraisal I was told would be $500 and I would not have to pay for because I had previously used Rocket Mortgage.

Rocket Mortgage was great for 2 mortgages over 10 years, until January 2024. Our current mortgage began in February 2021, and was conventional (previous one was VA). We debated putting down 20% to avoid mortgage insurance, but were assured it would go away once we paid the principal below 20% value. Since then, we accelerated payments and have paid off over 30% of principal. They refuse to remove the mortgage insurance charge despite current property values, customer history, and tax valuation, and principal owed being $20,000 less than when the insurance falls off the amortization table.

I refinanced my house with Rocket a couple of years ago and everything went great and then I reached to get a new home loan because I was going to relocate and everything seemingly went well and then it all went to crap. The first Mortgage person I was dealing with went well and then I got re-assigned to another Mortgage broker and that is when things started going downhill. I kept reaching out to this person to get a hardline number as to what my budget was and finally received the information and I started looking and found a place. I made an offer and it was accepted and they received the PA (Purchase Agreement) and then I got re-assigned again to someone who was licensed in my state and that is where it went really bad.

I was looking around and checking out my options and Bonnie T from Rocket Mortgage was saying to refinance with them it was my best option and when she told me what my new rate would be I told her NO. We couldn't do it. We couldn't afford that kind of payment. Then she proceeded to say, "Well can you do it for three months. You'd only need to do it for three months and then call me back in three months and I will refinance it lower to a lower payment." She said her and her husband had just done the same thing. So we went with Rocket Mortgage. Called Bonnie T back in three months and she answered said, "Can't help you," and hung up on me. Now I am stuck with a mortgage I can't afford and could lose my house. Very unethical and Rocket mortgage won't do anything to rectify it, just cover their own butts.

On 3/8/2024 @ 12:40pm, I received a call from "Dillon" at Rocket Mortgage. He called from **. He proceeded to tell me that my credit had been pulled and he wanted me to know - at which point I interrupted him and asked why my credit was pulled when I did not request anything from Rocket Mortgage. I then told him to remove me from your call list to which he replied "I will not do that". I repeated that back to him and he again said "I will not do that". I said again "remove me from your call list. Good bye" and disconnected.

Rocket Mortgage told me everything was good to go in my loan until 5 days out from closing. Then they decided to tell me I needed a bunch of notarized signatures and that I needed contractor work done before they can close. ON THE DAY OF CLOSING they told me I would have to pay my first mortgage in April, when prior to that, on multiple occasions, they told me I would not have to pay until May. This caused me not to be able to buy furniture for a month after moving in. I am still being asked for statements after closing and I am already moved in. This place is constant stress and just awful. To top it off, the reps had an attitude, as if I was being annoying when they were literally messing up my life.

I have been a customer for the last 10 years and 5 mortgages (we move a lot for work). I was always happy with them and felt that they were always truthful and the customer service was exceptional. That all changed in October of 2023. Our taxes went up in May 2023 and we received a notice that our payment would go up due to increases in taxes and insurance. We expected this and since we were going to dispute our tax increase we decided to break the shortage up into 12 payments to give us time to get through the dispute.

Me and my fiancé started a refinancing of her home six months ago. We’ve been through three separate mortgage companies now because one is the same as rocket mortgage and just as in professional big shout out to Andrea for being rude and yelling and pushy contacted us randomly on Sundays late at night only to pull her credit four times and ask why her credit rating was lower than she was sent to a different department with rocket mortgage who told her to attempt to take out credit cards three to be exact then to contact us again to tell us that our credit score went down again.

My experience, as a Real Estate Agent and a home buyer (multiple), with Rocket Mortgage was subpar and I'll avoid them in the future. I'll also ensure to steer my clients away from this company. In summary, they asked for unnecessary, redundant documents during underwriting. I had to rebut several times and fortunately they let it go and we moved forward. Once we moved into servicing, again... Great difficulty updating my veteran tax status with them. Finally, they recently sold my mortgage to a company with TERRIBLE reviews. I know this is a business, but when they were making this decision, I was their customer, and it is further evidence of awful customer service.

I applied for an investor home loan today and was assisted by Trevor. Trevor was not helpful, slow with responses, said he did not have readily available my loan application. I asked about the terms and he advised I needed 25% of $500K. I said I could not afford it I would apply again for an owner occupied and that I would have to live in the home and not rent it. I applied today again because he said the original loan application would be cancelled well it was not. He declined to accept the owner occupied application. He became rude and refused to put he supervisor on the phone. Is stuff like this even LEGAL? Can mortgage lenders refuse a loan application from a client? Are the investors who do business with Rocket Mortgage know what is going there? I reported this interaction with the CFPA.

Back in September 2023 apply for a FHA or a USDA homeowner loan because I had finally got my credit up maybe missing my mom of four children. The only dream I have is to have a roof over their heads and a safe place for them to sleep, play their heads at night. They deny me because I had an eviction charge that was 7 years old on my record as soon as they seen that they did not me I thought that you wasn't supposed to be held against after 6 years but they're not the only ones that drive me a bunch of places to buy me to try to get me and my children at home government low income housing and everything. I draw disability each month and I have four children on a fix income.

A year ago our home insurance elapsed while we were traveling and we immediately extended it. We did not get any reminders. Now Rocket charged us $67,000 to cover a year ago. We have insurance as of 10/10. We did not file any claims. Insurance is supposed to forward looking and not backward to a year ago.

Had the unfortunate pleasure to communicate with Jose ** a riple Crown Banker with Rocket Mortgage. I told him I was only interested in a home equity loan and then proceeded with application, exchange of documents, credit check and more. 5 days later after I called and emailed and did online chat, Jose finally responds with an offer to refinance my house. Of which I did not ask for, then as a response to my email asking for the home refinance offer; he informs me that Rocket mortgage does not offer home equity loans in my state. Could have saved alot of time, by just stating that in the opening prior to engaging in worthless banter. Would highly suggest another lender, this one starts off by deceiving potential clients.

I reached out to Rocket Mortgage via online application form. I will say that they did call me bright and early the next morning and the first lady that was on the phone was very pleasant. however she transferred me over to this gentleman. Who seemed more interested in calling me stupid for looking at my credit report. and advise me. I should never look at my own credit report as I’m too dumb to do so I spent at least 15 to 20 minutes on the phone and he continue to assault my intelligence even after I warned him, his words were coming off, abrasive and arrogant. I don’t know.

At first they were okay and the end of the day they will ask nonsense documents.. But I did my closing recently MJXLending with the owner itself Kos.. He is very helpful. Don’t go ROCKET MORTGAGE. I won’t deal with them ever.

Rocket Mortage told me they would get me the lowest rates possible which made me jump at the chance to work with them. They asked for a good faith deposit which was explained as a hold which I would receive back just to make sure the company was not wasting their time. Long story short it did not go through. Then when asking about the return of my deposit I was told it would be less the credit check and apprasial. After 2 weeks of not receiving it back called them back they said well actually the apprasial was 685 dollars so we took a loss. Seriously a scam. I will never recommend this company they are not upfront about their business practices and definitely make sure you are not well informed. For those who it did work out for kudos to you. But I feel they should always be upfront regarding money regardless of your financial situation. An expensive lesson of 500 has been learned.

I did a refi with Rrocket Mortgage about 3 years ago. For the first year it went all right, But as time went on it got worse. The past year and some have been a nightmare. In May I had a financial hardship hit me when I had a knee replacement and had to stop working for a while, but I Was able to get help with my mortgage from an agency that gives a one-time voucher which gave me enough to pay about one and a half times a mortgage payment. Rocket mortgage didn't ask me how I wanted it dispersed. They just took it up on themselves to disperse it as they chose.

I've dealt with two SENIOR bankers who kept guessing what documents I need to provide just to hear from their underwriters that the document is not valid, going back and forth numerous times, no response when needed by me or my realtor, and the list goes on and on. I'd rather paying a higher rate with another lender and not their supposedly lower rate. Wasted too much with them for me to continue here. Stay away if you can.

Instead of Rocket Mortgage waiting for my insurance company to send the right bill Rocket Mortgage sends an exorbitant amount out without calling or questioning it. Every year they have applied it back to my escrow account but not this year. This year they applied it to my mortgage and decided while I was in the hospital for a month to take out extra from my account. My payment is normally $2070 but they took out $2496.27, (they say they only took out $300 extra and even that is wrong), in September and October 2023.

You would think that since you are making one of the biggest decisions of your life you will have people supporting you and people you can trust but this experience showed me that you have to look out for yourself. Since the text is limited, I have to make a long story short. I reached out to Rocket beginning of summer 2023, especially because I saw the promotion, they were offering towards your closing cost. James ** was our original representative. He will always call and check in and see if there was something I needed while I was in the process of house searching.

I have never been so mad with Rocket Mortgage before and experienced such incompetence. I hope if I performed that way I would be yelled at and fired on the spot. It took 15 days for this mortgage company to process my check. It was in fact lost. I talked to several managers and supervisors in the executive office who only wanted to share their knowledge of their incompetence. Then after I was told my check was lost, on the same day, the very same day, I did a stop payment with my bank. Later the same day I received a thank you email stating Rocket Mortgage received the payment. Unbelievable! SO, I called my bank to stop the cancellation of my stop payment check. It was a Friday, so I knew my mortgage company is so slow to process anything. All was well.

I never seen such unprofessionalism as this company. We have gone from one loan person to another and they judge you by your age and other illegal activities and gloat in the amount of money they can limit to you... We can buy just about anything but they think their power is like a judge. We wound up getting 3x more money at a local bank and are very happy now. The broker or financial wizards at Rocket feel like they "Rule the roost," as they say. Glad I dumped them.

As a current borrower, my refinance (HELOAN) was a complete disaster. I was provided poor information, in an untimely matter that caused the HELOAN not to close. RUN AWAY! Also lowered my credit -110 points. Imagine that, right at the final step to close.

Watch out. As soon as my house was appraised my "TEAM" disappeared but the documents to sign kept coming with numbers $$$ not adding up. Finally "Tony" called me back saying he had taken some sick days and that I was not making HIM feel any better. I lost $500. Don't lose your $5000. TRUE STORY. Nurses with purses beware.

Rocket Mortgage is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Because our current mortgage is with them, we decided to reach out to them first about a $20K home equity loan. Being the cautious person that I am, I spent 3 days talking with an agent prior to finally pulling the trigger. Our talks included what I was looking for, what I didn’t want to happen, and why I was hesitant because of an auto dealership that even after I had my loan secured externally took it upon themselves to run 3 hard inquiries because THEY thought they could get me a better rate than the one I had already secured. I finally agreed to let this man pull a hard inquiry and begin the “home equity” loan process. I told him I’d be available Monday and he could contact me then and we’d get everything worked out.

I am trying to buy a house in IL. I live in Colorado. Closing was to happen today so I am in IL now. I am paying 3/4 of the loan in cash. Last week, three things happened. The addendum to the appraisal failed to be delivered from the appraisal company on the east coast, Rocket became super-focused on my less than $200 Amazon bill and wanted a zero-balance notification, and Rocket wanted me to lower my monthly homeowner's insurance payments from $150/month to $50/month. This is all to improve my debt /income ratio but doesn’t take into consideration that I am selling my Colorado house and that I have funds in the bank to supplement my income until things settle. Everything is resolved after much effort EXCEPT the appraisal addendum.

Rocket in conversations, while applying for a loan, give me mostly bad information. Interest rate quoted was changed, closing costs were doubled and fixed rate mortgage applied for was changed to variable rate arm without my authorization. Really poor communication from broker and then he goes on vacation and left me with a women associate that also was horrible and know very little. Rocket strung me out for nearly a month with their bait and switch deception while I was trying to close the loan prior to additional interest rate increases. When I questioned why they changed everything in their second written proposal the women says they would not make the loan? Even though they cost me time and a higher interest rate I would not have proceeded doing business with this sorry and deceptive company anyway. Be aware!!!

I applied for a home equity loan with Rocket Mortgage. Some how during the on-line conversation with their representative, it turned into a loan refinance. The representative said we were not qualified for a home equity loan due to our credit and it would be better to refinance our loan. Our current VA loan has an interest rate of 3.24% and the rep tried to convince me to refinance for a 6.990% loan. I declined. He continued to try to convince me it was a better option. Again, I declined. We have received multiple emails and phone calls, even after unsubscribing from emails and declining phone calls. Today I received loan paperwork in the mail, which I again DECLINED. What does it take to get them to understand we are NOT INTERESTED in refinancing our 3.24%loan to a 6.990% loan? Rocket Mortgage needs to cease and desist contacting us, Immediately.

They promised they wouldn't sell our mortgage. It is also stated in their advertising. Our excellent payment and credit history must not have been to their advantage. After harassing us for 2.5 years to re-refi our new mortgage, they sold our mortgage to a bank we would never have done business with. Unhappy and do not recommend them.

One year ago my husband and I experienced horrible customer service to the point of consulting with legal firms and the overseer of savings and loan entities. After working out a plan to get the issue resolved once and for all through a short repayment agreement. This company came BACK WITH "oh you should have known the payment plan was going to fluctuate". We were given a payment plan in writing and stuck to that, making each payment.

I have worked with Rocket on two separate occasions. I cannot speak to actually getting a mortgage with them, but they communicate well, and they put everything up front. The first time, I was working to buy my first home, and they seemed like the best lender to go with. Their terms were the best for my situation, and they kept up with me and what was going on with me and encouraged me in my own work to get what I needed to start a mortgage with them.

I tried to refinance about a year ago, and they dragged their feet, submitted several inspections, and finally told me that my locked in rate had expired and all I could do now was to take the 1.25% higher rate. This was after inspecting twice, and claiming that they never received the appraisal (both of them). Their web page for auto payments is intentionally obstructive to setting up autopay. You cannot change an autopay amount. you must first delete the old one and create a new one. When you delete, you get "A new autopay can be scheduled once this cancellation has been processed, usually by the next business day." Why?

This company's behavior is unethical and potentially illegal. After going through the loan process, they decided to sell my personal information to other loan providers for their own financial gain. This is a clear violation of my privacy and trust. It is concerning that they would prioritize their own profit over the privacy and security of their customers. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. It is important to be cautious when providing personal information to companies and to read the fineprint carefully to ensure that they will not share your information with third parties without your consent. Overall, I do not recommend doing business with a company that engages in such questionable practices.

When I called Rocket Mortgage I was offered a rate that was not possible so they escalated to different division to cover up the bait-and-switch fraud. They hand you off to so many people it's like they created the Henry Ford factor line for mortgages. No relationship building, each person doesn't know what the other person is doing. They may be the largest but for sure are not the most organized or knowledgeable. It's like like they just push it through sometimes because they have gotten so far with the loan. I bet if they were really audited they would lot more legal problems.

I currently have a loan with Rocket Mortgage. In the past couple years I’ve been with them I’ve gotten hundreds of calls wanting me to refinance, I ended up just having to block their number. Now I’m going through an insurance claim and I sent the check to them 1 month ago and I can’t even get a human on the phone to find out if it was received. When you call their number it’s all automated press 1 if etc. about 3 times until it just tells you how to send the check. It should be way easier to access a human to actually get answers to my questions.

I called three weeks before they were scheduled to pay my annual insurance premium and asked them not to pay it to my current carrier because I was changing companies. They disbursed it anyway even though the account said DO NOT PAY. Now I have to try to get the money back to return it to them so that my escrow account is not short from a double payment when they disburse the money to the new carrier.

After finding out our legal description was wrong back in 2015 we thought everything was fine as the attorney we had sent all corrected legal documents to Rocket Mortgage. We didn't hear anything more until Christmas 2021 when Attorney papers came saying that the homes affected were illegally sold. The mortgage company never fixed the legal documents for the properties affected from back in 2015 and never gave us a heads up. We then thought we had that fixed but then at the start of this month I am told we are in arrears by over $2400.

The most answers comes from a certain department and all other department. When you talk to they just guess and each of them say a different thing until after while and time passes answer comes from that particular department, very annoying people. Please do your homework before you start working with them.

I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars. Patrick is a very busy man. He works hard to get our loans approved in a timely fashion. He contacted me and explained the whole process to me. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Rocket Mortgage will always be my go to company for my home loans.

Loula was awesome. This is the second time she has helped me buy my house. She really does care and does everything possible to get it done. I will recommend her to everyone. My deals have never been easy and she has always worked through all the issues.

We returned to Rocket for a mortgage because of a positive experience we'd had with them, especially with the loan origination people. There seems to be a problem however, when the client is handed off to the team that handles the process of finalizing the loan and moving to closing. This second time with Rocket was similar to the first, great service from Keeb with the process of getting the loan started and guaranteed, then poor service from Julia who took over the process after our offer was accepted and we were moving toward closing. She was a poor communicator - gave us conflicting explanations, didn't tell us what she needed, didn't answer our questions - leading to a lot of unnecessary stress.

My refinance involved payoffs to a number of creditors, and while the refinance itself was flawless and quite streamlined, the payoffs were not. I received checks that I had to mail to the creditors--I never mail to them and didn't have addresses, etc handy. Owing to the timing, most of the payoff balances had changed. A clumsy part of an otherwise effective process.

Amazing experience all the way around!!! From start to finish - extremely efficient and of high quality at every point. The customer service reps were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, provides updates in a very timely manner which makes the process much much better. Would recommend them to anyone looking to refinance. I would absolutely look to use Rocket Mortgage again in the future.

I would recommend Rocket to anyone needing a loan!! It was a pleasure working with your Representatives, they were very friendly and professional! From beginning to end the loan process was easy, efficient and quick!!! I also use Rocket Money which is another great service!

Getting our first mortgage was simple and professional. We applied for a home equity loan. Night and day. We were approved then told no after commitment. They could care less. Pull the product if the staff or approval software are not up to snuff. No more recommending them except Joe for a mortgage was outstanding.

After spending hours with a loan prescreening representative and providing information on the nature of my application twice, once online and then with a live person. I had to use a live person because you're not really able to do online everything that’s in the meta tags that draws you in. Something is wrong when a company like this denies a person with a credit score above 770 and financials that meet all the requirements for this very small loan for an investment property. They knew and understood beforehand exactly what my intentions were regarding the nature of my loan and wasted hours of my time on the phone just to tell me that they couldn’t do it, without any clear explanation. It sounded as if it were being made up as she talked and I still.

Excellent service with this refinance. Finished in 2 weeks. Highly recommend Albert!!! The closing was excellent. Received checks to payoff loans in 73 hours. Would gladly work with again. First payment coming up April 1st 2023. Easy way to pay loans online. They will never sell my loan. That is why I changed to them. I kept being sold off for a total of 5 times and I had enough.

From beginning to end, this was an outstanding experience! Frank Jamal and Michael ** were fantastic. Frank from the get go was super helpful, informative and every step of the way the whole team was ahead of the curve. Everyone was easy to reach and always answered my questions. My closing agent was outstanding too. I would recommend Rocket and this team in particular to anybody that asked!

I had a good experience with all individuals that I encountered during this entire process. I was made aware of everything that I needed to do so that my refinance could go smoothly. Johnny was also helpful in getting the process going. I was able to contact him at anytime during my loan process.

Everything went well with Nelson at the beginning of the process. I would use Rocket again in the future. Some things got tied up at the end waiting for closing and I think someone dropped the ball causing a delay. It might have been on the title company's side. I kept checking for my responsibilities for over a week, and the portal said there was nothing for me to do. I finally called to double check and then things moved really quick.

Amazing and above and beyond experience. I couldn’t be more happy and well taken care of every step I took. I don’t know how I would have done this without the help from Rocket Mortgage and especially Sam **. Wow. He is a blessing and I don’t have enough words to say. The best there is. Was an honor to have him as a person to walk me through a world of unknowns but will say his name loud and I couldn’t be more happy. He said he would get me in a home and he did. Was like holding my hand and guiding me along every step of the way. This man is a great representation of your company and proud to say I know him. Thank you for everything.

I called last month while shopping around for Mortgage Products. In short, their rates and fees weren't the best, and I told them I'd need some time to calculate/mull it over. The rep said "Well why do you need to think about it? You're not going to get any better so you might as well go with us." As creepy and, quite frankly disrespectful a response that is, I insisted I'd call back another day. Since then, (going on about a month now) they call me anywhere from 2-5 times a day--as early as 7am and as late as 8pm. The same number. Every. Single. Day. I have the call log & screenshots to prove it. They've lost my business indefinitely and I implore anyone reading this to go literally anywhere else.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage was very quick, efficient & very easy, I would recommend Rocket Mortgage To anyone needing their kind of services. Kyle ** my agent was very helpful & knowledgeable & made himself available whenever I needed a question answered.

I could not complete my rating for my Rocket Mortgage experience because it has been over 2 weeks since closing and I still can not (as of 11:36 AM) review my loan information after signing in at your webpage. Until that happens, I just get more and more frustrated with the process! Please help.

Process was very smooth and customer service answered any questions we might have very quickly. Process was explained as to what was necessary for each detail. Really was amazed at how fast all went and completed. Would highly recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage was beyond anything I could have imagined! When I originally bought my house in 2017, the experience was long, tedious and frustrating. I have actually put off a refinance for over two years simply because I didn’t want to deal with the process again. From my first day, Sam ** was constantly available, extremely helpful and quick, and total throughout the whole process I probably spent less than 30 minutes on the phone which was incredible and such a positive for me. Everything was extremely easy and convenient, I’ve told everyone who will listen to me to never buy or anything finance through anyone else. Thank you for making this process such a breeze! I will absolutely be back for any addictions mortgage needs.

Been using Quicken since the early 90's. It has steadily gotten worse over the years. Seems like all they care about is raising and collecting the now, annual, subscription fee. Several times a year, I am unable to download transactions from my bank for weeks to a month at times. Quicken blames the bank, the bank blames Quicken, however, the consumer pays the ultimate price. Paying for a service that doesn't work is not good business practice. I am currently looking into alternatives to Quicken or just simply using my bank's website.

Provided me with a Federally Funded CARES Mortgage deferment. Told me they would modify the loan and put the deferred payment, 6 at the end of the loan. Now tells me they wouldn't do that and are demanding the entire $19,000 payment at once and will be foreclosing on me and my 11 year old daughter's home. They refuse to accept any payments, even the regular monthly mortgage payments which I have been making on time, now tells me they won't accept any payments, expediting the foreclosure. Terrible, bullying unethical practices. After agreeing to help me during Covid they now destroy my credit, and are removing me and my daughter from our home for $19,000. Stay away from these thugs.

We have been very pleased with Rocket Mortgage. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. It was so easy to get forms filled out and submit online. Our only complaint is all the mail about mortgage insurance with the amount of our loan on a postcard for everyone to see. That is unacceptable

Was Leary about Rocket Mortgage. It was a great experience. All their folks are professional and great communication. Highly recommend. Aaron was great, he responded at all times of day and night during this process. I closed on my home with no issues.

High fees. Promise what they cannot deliver. Rude. Twice now. Never again. There are a lot of better options out there. The last guy was purposely deceitful. One a refinance and the second a purchase. This is the only company that would not be transparent with a cost breakdown upfront as well. There is a reason.

Rocket Mortgage made the mortgage application extremely easy from start to closing. My loan officers were always in contact with me and provided support throughout the process. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone that is in need of a mortgage. Thank you.

I'm a first time home buyer in the city of Glendora. I was referred to Rocket Mortgage by the realtor I used to buy the home. If you understand the Ins & Outs of buying a home then I'm sure this is a decent company to use, but if you're a first time home buyer I would avoid them at all costs. Pete ** was my representative and is a very nice gentlemen, but spoke to me as if I worked as a colleague and thought I understood this process of buying a home. He was communication skills were awful, locked me in at points that I did not agree with, and still getting hit with unknown bills that he didn't clarify to me when spoke. Ultimately, first home buyers should be treated a lot better than the experience I had and would advise to look elsewhere.

From start to finish, this has been been the best process! It was easy, fast, and everyone was so polite and helpful. All my questions were answered. Andreas ** was absolutely world class from the start of the loan process all the way through to the day of closing. He was available to me day and night and held firm with every promise that was made. Anytime we needed an escalation he personally sought out PJ and resolved the issue within what usually turned out to be an hour or two. Even at closing when I know I was supposed to be working with someone from that team, Andreas took my calls both at work and on his cell. He made Rocket Mortgage look hands down the best world class in customer service in the industry. I would strongly recommend anybody in my Family or Friends to rocket as long as the professionals were in line with how Andreas conducted himself. I give Andreas and Rocket a 11/10 and definitely a 5 star rating!!!

I have been with Rocket Mortgage for quite some time. Earning in excess of 12K monthly, I was in a position to finally get into a 10 year fixed at 2.25%. Great deal, excellent service, really impressed. Found myself unemployed for the first time in my life in January of 2022, and struggled meeting all obligations. I have never missed a mortgage payment since I have owned real estate, over 40 years! I received an offer to start working in January of 2023. I contacted Rocket in August about options. I had read that they could defer a few payments to the end of my loan. Instead I was set up on a "forbearance" program. Found out they will only re-structure my loan and add 4% and additional length to my loan. After to speaking with multiple reps, including the "executive team" , they advised me that this what they decided. When I advised them that I was mislead, they said, "It all in your documents."

This was the easiest platform and customer service experience I’ve received while trying to refinance. Amazing. I tried Wells Fargo prior to this and what a nightmare. This was by far the best experience I’ve had! Thank you. I could not say enough about the great service I received. I would gladly do business with rocket again.

The process was well outlined by Darren who gave us the initial numbers to give us the cashback we wanted and get us a loan we could live with. He acted quickly. We figured we would need to provide all of our essential financial data. That was no problem. The only hitch was the time from beginning to end seemed to be a little longer than we anticipated. We started the process in mid-October and we didn't close until late December. It just seemed to be long by a few weeks.

I cannot begin to say how pleased I was with the whole experience. I had tried another company before Rocket and had poor service and basically a runaround. Rocket took care of me and made sure I was up to speed with everything. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who needs loan services.

I was extremely nervous to utilize an online mortgage company. It seemed so impersonal. For some this is the biggest purchase you ever make in your life. I will, and already have recommended Rocket Mortgage. Ashli, and Scott were top of the line. Any time I had a question, it was answered. They were knowledgeable, sincere, and efficient. Going with an online company I really thought it would be a lot of phone tag, emails, and waiting. I never waited more than an hour before someone replied, or called me to touch base. That’s not including the touch bases to reassure me that everything was moving along as planned, or to just check in and see if I needed anything.

I was able to apply and upload all necessary documents online, making the process easy right from my home office. I had a dedicated representative throughout the process. They sent an appraiser to my home and completed an appraisal. When it was time to close they sent a notary to my home. I was very impressed by the level of ease and service I received. We have worked with Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage on many different mortgages. For the 1st time, the process was difficult and frustrating. All of the employees were very nice and helpful. The frustration seemed to come from the fact that each person was SO LIMITED in the information they could see or access. Even our main loan contact could not see our file one we were in process. That really limited him from helping us when the process got into trouble.

Thank you to everyone who helped with my refi. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Any hurdles were easily overcome by various teams throughout the company with an easy resolution. I could not say one negative thing about the process.

Do not trust this mortgage company. A bunch of liars and thieves. Never gave back my money. Natalie never gets back to you on calls. Terrible customer service. Doesn't go beyond for you. Tells you what you will get and lied. Paid them 500 and never got it back. Stay away.

My experience was very smooth, by that I mean that Tiffany was very clear when describing my options and how each of them worked, and it showed me which one was more beneficial to my financial situation. The only thing that I found to be inaccurate was the fact that I would have two months' grace before I started my repayment process, I was looking forward to having that time to get fully ready. However, it was not a deal breaker and I was very pleased with everything else.

I writing to express my total dissatisfaction with the process, after being approved for a loan and spend a lot of money doing reparations in the property that we want to buy, my wife and me discovered that they did not want to approve the loan because we needed to replace part of the roof. We had already invested a few hundred dollars in the property and we had a grant for the total repair of the roof of the property, which we could only use once we signed the closing papers. We will never use Rocket Mortgage services again, time and stress are irrecoverable.

If you have a choice of Mortgage Companies and their servicers, do EVERYTHING you can to avoid Rocket Mortgage. Their staffs are typical Detroit-breakdown. No ability to deal with you as a specific customer. Only thing that THEY SAY matters to them is to follow processes which grind down the customer, regardless of loan-to-value metrics or the customer's needs. I had an insurance claim for a new roof for $29,840 and they withheld $22,604 of it in an ESCROW account which I can't access - with no instruction or notice how to navigate their "system". Scammed by roofers. Scammed by insurance. And now scammed by Rocket. NOT the Dan Gilbert I know.

Chris was very educated on the loan process. He went above and beyond to help me on the purchase of my new home. This is my first time buying a home and I am no spring chicken. I was clueless on everything. Chris walked me through it all. He even answered emails late and on weekends. I wouldn't of been able to get my house without Chris **. He was amazing.

Megan ** was very helpful. The process after working with Megan got frustrating as there were about 4 or 5 other people. It got frustrating talking to so many different people. But we were overall happy with the beginning and the person who helped at the end. Sorry I don't have her name but she was a good person to close with.

I decided to give this company a try because I’ve come to know it as a ubiquitous brand in home loans. At first, everything was great and easy, everyone was super responsive. Was told by my loan handler that he doesn’t take on anyone unless he knows it’s a slam dunk. Bragged about being on CNBC (which admittedly, did make me think I was in good hands). I explained that I was a 1099 contractor and that my income has been a problem in the past. Was told to rest assured that these things will not be an issue with him handling my loan. I noticed my closing costs were exceptionally high, and when I inquired as to reason why, they were magically able to drop them by $7000 with the same interest rate.

Rocket went over the top to close on my loan. My agent was Kwesi **, he was excellent and went over and above at his job. All other support prior to closing was extremely helpful and very polite. Completely satisfied with the level of service I received.

Folks were nice, professional, helpful. We were able to get money to pay off bills as part of the refinance, that is why we wanted to refinance. It was a higher Interest rate than we had but we were assured we could lower it later when rates came back down. Our only problem was the "cost" to do this seemed high. We wanted to stay with You, so even though the cost was less elsewhere, we stayed with you.

My experience with Rocket Loans in 2022 was a lot different than my experience in 2017 and not in a good way. Our loan was held up as the wrong type of inspection was ordered, an inspector was here for 6 hours on a Sunday, she even said she didn't know why they ordered that type of inspection, then we were lied to and told that it wasn't accepted because we didn't let them take pics of our son's bedrooms as he was sick having his wisdom teeth just removed, the person who did the 6 hour inspection told us the truth that Rocket told them they ordered the wrong type inspection and needed a traditional inspection, this had us very angry that we were lied to and it also made our loan take longer than it should have, we almost pulled out and went with another lender, but didn't want to lose even more time. Jennifer was wonderful though, was not her fault.

All employees were helpful. When calling and talking to whichever person whether Justin or Reem they always got back to me fast depending on the questions or time of day. Great team all around. Thank you for allowing me to get my first home.

The person who handled my account was very knowledgeable and accessible and answered all my questions. 99% was done remotely. Their portal was very user friendly! My circumstances were challenging, and they went above and beyond to get me to closing. Closing was at my home and took 30 minutes tops! The customer service is exceptional.

Use extreme caution and if possible, just go with someone else. What they don't tell you: THEY WILL SELL YOUR LOAN FOR PROFIT. They will tell you nothing will change but this is NOT TRUE. Here's the story: The process started easy enough, the agent whom I was dealing with made everything sound super easy and I genuinely liked him at first. A big selling point of our home was the monthly payment. We were determined to stay within a certain range. The price we were given was a bit higher than we expected; however, the agent informed us that there was a PMI on the loan. He said that its a bit more to pay now... but being that we got SUCH a good deal on the house, we would only have to wait around a year to get this off.

Went fairly smoothly. There were a few glitches on getting forms signed and back in a timely matter. But once everything was in closing happened pretty quickly. It would have been quicker if the payoff went to our account, and we could have paid down our creditors a lot faster.

Our senior Banker, AJ, was the best. He explained every step of the process to me and made sure we were getting the best deal possible. I turned to him whenever I had a question or concern and he always took the time to listen. The process took about 60 days from applying to closing. Highly recommend Rocket Mortgage.

Our experience was good. The only thing that irritated me was trying to get in touch with our contact person. I would call and leave a voice mail to call me back and she didn't. I'd call again...same lack of response. I was just about to give up the whole thing when I finally got to talk to someone who helped and from then on things went smoothly.
