Retained Perfect Tax last year for help with previous returns. Paid $2400 which, according to the contract I signed, was supposed to cover tax preparation, filing taxes, negotiating with the IRS and settlement of the case. The contract also stated that all of this would happen within one year of the agreement date. All they did was prepare the tax returns, which any accountant could have done. They never even filed the returns and said that I would have to pay them another $3200, although after some pushback they did eventually go ahead and file them before dropping me as a client.

Started with Perfect Tax Relief in 2022. Now was 2025. Nothing has been resolved. At first they make it sound they can help you and reduce your debt with the IRS. Offer the wonderful OIC, which seems to never get approved. Once I started getting a bunch of letters from the IRS found out they weren’t communicating with the IRS at all, only to set up a payment plan. It was twice the amount as what it was before I started with Tax Relief. Do not waste your money on these people. All they want to do is take your money and do what you can do on your own. Set up your own payment plan.

Perfect Tax Relief helped me negotiate a settlement with the IRS for a fraction of what I originally owed—which was a huge relief. John and Ashley were both helpful throughout the process. John, in particular, was quite responsive and stayed on top of things. Ashley was also helpful, though at times I had to follow up more than once to get a response. I prefer to stay proactive and informed, so quick communication is important to me. While the response time could’ve been better, the end result was exactly what I hoped for. Overall, Perfect Tax Relief delivered where it mattered most and helped me reach a successful resolution.

I've been working with Perfect Tax Relief for a while over 10 years. I've had a very good experience. I noticed there were some reviews that were not the greatest. In the past I've worked with Greg. I've worked with Steve and recently Jackie. They do a great job for me. Jackie just saved me thousands of dollars negotiating a monthly dollar agreement with the IRS just a few weeks ago. I'm grateful of her time. She's very responsive and seems to work well with the revenue agents. Thanks again Perfect Tax Relief. I'm very grateful!!!!

I signed up with this company in 2022 with a promise that they will be able to reduce my debt I owe to the IRS which was around $30,000. Here we are 2025 and it’s still not resolved. All they did wasn’t OIC, which did nothing but the lady me paying Then they tried to reduce my penalty interest owed, which also did not pan out. I got a letter from the IRS saying they haven’t heard a reply from the letters when I was told Perfect Tax Relief was getting the letters and they are responding. Nothing was done to help me. The promises that were made when I signed up never happened. I don’t believe they ever reduce anybody’s debt as a promise. Will happen when I signed up. Since I’ve got my last pile of letters from the IRS and sent them to the tax lady who’s working on my case I have not heard back from them in weeks. Stay away from this company unless you wanna lose your money and end up owing more to the IRS.

I did write a previous review and this is in response to their comment on my review. When I had my consultation call with this company I was advised of what their service provided. They would gather data through their investigation through the IRS then we would have a call. They would go over the data that they investigated, which was in fact that I have two years of unfiled tax returns and I owe the IRS a small amount of money under 5K. I asked, "How much is this all going to cost me," and the gentleman said they charged a flat fee of $500. The initial payment was broken down over three separate charges. I did receive another phone call from another gentleman going over my financial information confirming how much money I had in the bank, so on and so forth, my mortgage payment was, etc., etc. I never heard back from them.

Perfect Tax Relief negotiated with the IRS to settle for a very small amount compared to what I owe to IRS. John and Ashley were pretty good. But they could have a faster response. Sometimes I had to call them a few times to get them back. But John was pretty responsive, and Ashley a little bit less. I always like to be on top of things and Perfect Tax Relief was helpful to get me where I wanted to be.

They told me that they would work on my case and they wanted my expenses and they would communicate with me as needed. They're preparing my taxes as well. The communication is not as good as it could be. But they have responded every time I've had questions. They had several options that they could pursue to get my taxes reduced. They discussed a little bit about which each one I meant and what they would pursue. I got a phone call saying that it looks like they will get it reduced by half. Then they called me again and told me that they were working with the IRS and that by the end of this year, they should have a final resolution to what they negotiated for a payback.

Perfect Tax Relief's shortcoming is they don't wanna listen. Some of their reps tell me what's gonna happen. I've got issues that I need answers to questions, and they just glazed over it. I'm not gonna sign up on something that I'm not comfortable sending to the government signing up on. They keep, "Well, we're working on this." They tell me what they're gonna do and it doesn't address my issues. I'm not sending inaccurate information. I really don't have anxiety with the IRS. I should have gone to them directly myself and had the conversations. It gave me peace of mind that it was gonna get done and it hasn't. Part of that is my fault, too. I have a lot going on.

Perfect Tax is good. The reps did a good job. Communication was good at first but calling and getting in touch with certain people changed a little bit. The whole process took about five months. Things on our end changed a little bit and it slowed things down a little bit. I had to sell one of my properties. Perfect Tax helped relieve our stress a whole lot.

We’ve had a good experience with Perfect Tax Relief. The rep made me feel like everything was gonna be ok. I was very stressed out about our tax debt and he made me feel like everything was gonna be okay.

I owed a lot of money in taxes and I was hoping it would be cheaper to pay Perfect Tax Relief some money to save me some money in the long run. I called a couple of companies and Perfect Tax Relief was the first one to call back and they sounded more interested than some of the other companies. Customer service was good. At first, it seemed like it was gonna be pretty easy and a slam dunk. But it ended up taking way too long. While that happened, the debt collected a lot of interest. That aside the cost for the service was fair value. I was very happy in the end.

We love Perfect Tax Relief. They did us so good. They started helping us five years ago. We kept on doing what they said and kept up on our payments. It took a long time, but I don't feel we could have done that ourselves. They kept the IRS off of us. Everything goes through them for the IRS. They actually deal with the IRS for you. They got to settle with us. They're awesome. I still pay them, and I'm keeping them for two years still.

We were struggling about taxes, and we talked with Perfect Tax and they took the good initiative. That's why it's solved. It was almost more than $100,000 and finally, we paid around 3,000. The service was really good. The whole process took time because of COVID and everything was shut down. It took about three and a half years. But overall, my experience was great because they were really cooperative to solve the problem.

I am very happy with Perfect Tax Relief. I gave them the information that they asked for and they brought my taxes to current. Every time I had to sign something, they would call me or send me something in the mail. The cost was a little too much though. I paid 250 up until six months ago. They were trying to get me to pay more, but I couldn't afford that. But I was overwhelmed and needed help, and they helped me out.

I like Perfect Tax Relief's service better than the other two companies I tried. Every time I get letters from the IRS, the rep with Perfect Tax Relief talks me through it. That's been helping me. If there's something I don't understand, she explains it to me. The cost is worth it. I'm very satisfied.

I worked with a company that was in Florida and it was really screwing me over so I started looking. I live in California. I pulled up some people in California. I ended up with Perfect Tax Relief. I liked the reviews that I had read on them and also liked speaking with them initially. As far as the program goes, it was a pretty drawn-out affair but it's what I expected. Going through the process was fairly simple. As soon as I gave a power of attorney, Perfect Tax pretty much took it on their own hands and went with it. They just responded back and sent me a letter saying, “Hey, we need to have this in by a certain date.” Also, I'm a straightforward guy. I asked a question and they responded. That's how business should work.

I spoke to someone from Perfect Tax Relief and they sounded like they really wanted to help me. I asked them questions that they could answer for me and I confirmed that they were not one of those fraud companies. The person who handled my case seemed so personable like we knew each other and they were gonna do everything they could to help me out. Also, they made the process simple for me. If they saw that I didn't get something there to them in time, they would gently remind me and that helped me out. Sometimes when I didn't hear back from them, I would call them and they never seemed angry.

When I called Perfect Tax Relief, I got ahold of a John and he was the guy that pretty much convinced me that this was the right thing to do. I didn't file for three years. He took care of me. Every time I had a problem, I could call him. He also gave me his personal cell number. There was a time when the government shut down during the virus and I'd call him and say, "What are we gonna do?" He said, "We're just gonna ride it out. We got this." We didn't even have a government and he was all relaxed about everything. Then it worked out fine.

I like the way Perfect Tax did it, understanding my finances, and they were able to help me. Their rep, Jackie, was a wonderful person. They're kind, considerate, and not sitting in judgment. They walked me through it and guided me through every step of the way, which was so meaningful and beneficial. Most of all, we were able to resolve the issues in a way that's more than satisfactory. Starting next week, February the 28th, they have reduced my debt, which was about $100,000, down to $10,000 and $210 a month over three years and I'm done.

They got my taxes down, and I’ll only pay 10%. The whole process took about a year. I made the call and we went over the initial details. Everybody was present and understood. They put me on a payment plan. They offered a little after-program just to make sure that I'm keeping on top, because the IRS got me where within 4 to 5 years and I can't mess up or everything reverts back to what it was. Perfect Tax said they're monitoring me, and I'm happy to pay for the money. Everything went well. Hopefully, I never have to go do that again. But if I do, I'm going back to them.

I’ve been working with Perfect Tax Relief for a couple of years. Jackie is my rep and she has been wonderful. It's taken forever but we've been through COVID together. The CEO called me once we got an accepted offer. That was really cool. I told him that Jackie had done a great job. She always responded quickly and was very professional. She didn't give legal advice but she answered all my questions. Perfect Tax Relief helped relieve a huge debt, which helps me financially.

I called up Perfect Tax because they were recomended by the Better Business place and I'd had a bad experience with another company. The tax money they saved me at the IRS helped me pay what I owed overdue on my home so I guess they saved my home!!! Like I said, good bunch of people. Thanks.

I had good service with Perfect Tax. Just towards the end, there was one last payment I had to make that I was unaware of, so it was kind of shocking. Other than that, the people were friendly and I felt like I was taken care of. My questions were answered if I had any. The majority of my questions were answered by my lawyer that was at Perfect Tax. So, they would transfer me to him. At the beginning of the negotiation, he walked me through step by step, what would happen, and he even tried to predict what they would say or come back with, and that was comforting.

My experience with Perfect Tax Relief was great. I had to pay a certain amount for 12 months and if I didn't want it to show up on my credit starting December of 2021, it was up to me, I can pay additional after the 12 months ended. I started paying 190 and that's supposed to end in September of this year. But a gentleman called me a couple of weeks ago and told me they had got some good news from the Internal Revenue. They decided they will go ahead and take the offer that Perfect Tax Relief and I have discussed, which was $20 out of 12,000 something that I owed. I rushed to the post office on Friday and they're supposed to receive it today. They're very nice and helpful and they listen. If I have any questions, they are there to help me out even though I can't see them in person. I call them at any time and when they're available, they will reach out to me as soon as they get my message. I would really be glad to refer them to others.

Perfect Tax Relief has good people, and they work on my case. I got my full check back through the IRS. So, I am so happy with them. They did their best for me. I recommend them. They're the best for me and for anybody else.

Perfect Tax Relief did a very good job and I'm satisfied with the service I received from them. I'm happy that the company was able to provide the service I needed. Each of the representatives that I worked with did what they were expected to do and I'm grateful for that. Jackie, the rep I mainly worked with, was professional, knowledgeable of what she was doing and at the same time, she was transactionally, very pleasant to talk to.

My experience with Perfect Tax Relief has not been a good one. I originally went to them to work out a settlement for me. So, that's what they did. It took time and I understood. That all got settled and my big debt went away for just a little bit of money. Since then, I’ve signed back up with them to do my yearly taxes. And last year when they were supposed to do it, I got shuffled around to three different people. They put me down as being a hard case because I asked a lot of questions when they did my taxes. They assigned one guy and he refused to do it. They assigned another guy but he never got around to doing it. These are the people in California. Then I get a call from Perfect Tax in New York. They did it out there. It was somebody I'd never even dealt with before in these five years I've been dealing with this company. So, I wouldn't recommend them.

I reached out to Perfect Tax Relief in May of ’19 and we were supposed to finalize everything in May of 2020 but the pandemic came along. They sent me a letter for whatever they were gonna discuss and once we filled out the paperwork, they reviewed. They sent me back a contract that we were gonna send to the IRS and I signed it. It took almost two years to hear back from the IRS. So, with Perfect Tax, there wasn’t a whole lot they could do. They did the best they could, but with what was going on, it was a waiting game. We just settled here about six months ago. I am on a fixed income and the payment was still a little bit too high. I didn’t have any debts for the IRS to come after me for. So, I’m glad it’s all done.

I'm trying to reach Ashley, the rep, because she said Perfect tax Relief came to an agreement with the IRS but I don't know how much the agreement is for. She said she mailed out or sent some stuff to my email, which I never got. I already had a payment plan with the IRS for around the same amount that she said, which is for 293. But it's for 20,000. She said she can get the bill maybe knocked down 3,500 for them to come to an agreement. I don't know if the agreement that she's saying is for 20 or if they came to a settlement. I've called her a few times but she's not calling back.

The problem that I had was with one person. That is why It wasn't fair for me to say that the company was bad. The company as a whole was really good. They fulfilled their agreement with me as promised. Once I got with Jackie **, she gave me her time, and was patience with me, which helped me to understand what to do. That's what got me through some of the IRS's hardest questions and answers.

I'm very happy with Perfect Tax Relief. It has made dealing with the IRS better. It’s a long process and it's still going, but it's been very positive. The reps have good customer service skills and are very friendly and personal. I appreciate their responses when I try to contact them.

Perfect Tax Relief was very flexible. If I didn't have cash to pay, then right away, they lowered my monthly payment and adjusted it, which was why I wanted it. That was good for me.

I was hesitant about doing Perfect Tax Relief at first. I paid them but it was a little bit steep for me as a single parent. But the service was great even though the program was a little bit hectic. The person who I was dealing with was good and he went through everything with me. At the time, I was going through a divorce. He and I tried to reach out to my ex and he would not respond so we just went on with what we were doing.

I was very convinced when I called Perfect Tax Relief and they explained everything because I got caught up, not knowing what a lot of my stuff was like. My dad passed away and with my dad leaving me a little money, I didn't know anything about how the process worked. I kept asking about it. What he left me, with me taking it out early before I was 59, I had to pay an extra tax on it. I was a problem and Perfect Tax was very patient with me. I never dealt with it before and I was thinking it was gonna rush along. In the end, they did everything they said they were gonna do. Even with me and my nonsense, they still kept their composure. I dealt with them, and then I got upset and caught myself getting rid of them. I just wanted it to be over but I was overly frustrated with it. I was paying them all this money and there wasn’t anything happening. But at the end of the day, everything worked out.

My tax was being audited and I needed help. The interactions with the reps of Perfect Tax were good. But I don't really know that it was worth much of my money. I don't know if that's because of them or the IRS or the changes. But I paid Perfect Tax and I still owe the IRS just the same. When I started with them, I had one job. A year later, the paperwork finally got approved from the IRS. By that time, I had two jobs. The IRS was saying because I make more money, I have to pay the whole thing back. So I’m on a payment plan. It's just unfortunate that I had to pay the extra money and not really get anywhere. A year and a half of me paying Perfect Tax, and I paid them off early. But I'm paying them that timeframe. That could have just been going towards the money that I owed the IRS.

I was in debt with the IRS so I needed somebody to try to get it straight. Perfect Tax Relief got it all straight. They cleared it up. They worked with me, which was good. They handled everything and they kept me in the loop what was going on and how much I would have to pay, so everything was good. The cost was okay. Their charge was a lot better than a lot of the other companies.

Perfect Tax Relief is beneficial. They helped me out a lot. When I started getting a letter from the IRS, I was scared. I didn't know what to do and where to turn. There were some local firms in my area that have been reported for fraud so I was looking for someone that wasn't in my area, because I heard of people getting scammed. The guy, John, talked to me and told me what they were going to do and what to expect. He made everything very understandable for me and put it in a way where I could understand what was going on and what I had to do. And they took it from there. The reps were excellent and very professional. Everyone I spoke with were knowledgeable. They knew what they were talking about and things went out the way that they planned. At this point, I’ve been seeing results. Perfect Tax Relief had a tremendous impact on my life. They walked me through everything and helped me to get my issue resolved and I'm very grateful.

I've been with them Perfect Tax Relief for eight years and the experience has been good. Or I wouldn't still be there. Working with them gave me more cash in my pocket. I recommend them a lot.

I felt very good about Perfect Tax Relief’s service and everything was great. They knew what they were doing. Working with them is one of those things where you don't have any idea what you're getting into and you don't know what you're missing if you don't have it. But if you get it, then you see what you're up against and how badly you need it.
