Perfect Tax Relief can even file back tax returns if you’ve lost your records. Its team of tax experts helps you become compliant with state and federal tax laws and can negotiate an affordable payment plan. The company guarantees you will get representation from either an enrolled agent, a certified public accountant or a tax attorney.

Perfect Tax Relief services

Perfect Tax Relief offers comprehensive tax debt services, including:

  • IRS wage garnishment: The IRS can take money from your wages and apply it to your tax debt until a release is obtained. Perfect Tax Relief helps you remove your IRS wage garnishments, often within 24 hours.
  • Unfiled tax returns: The company helps you complete unfiled tax returns and can obtain any lost W-2 form through the IRS.
  • State tax relief: The state can also garnish your paycheck. Perfect Tax Relief helps prevent this, as well as levies and seizures of your property.
  • IRS tax relief: Perfect Tax Relief negotiates your debt into an affordable payment plan and can stop further taxes or bank levies on your property.
  • Freedom of Information Act requests:  Perfect Tax Relief files these requests so you can see what data the IRS uses to set your taxes, penalties or interests.
  • Collection appeals: A tax professional can file a collection appeal if you want to dispute an IRS decision, like if your property has been seized.
  • IRS appeals: Perfect Tax Relief makes appeals to indicate it disagrees with an IRS decision and requests appeals conferences.
  • Innocent spouse relief: The company can ask the IRS for relief if you’ve filed a joint tax return with your spouse and are now facing penalties due to their actions.
  • Payment plans: Perfect Tax Relief works toward a manageable installment agreement if you’re unable to pay the full amount you owe to the IRS.
  • Investment fraud representation: You can get back some of your losses if you were the victim of a fraudulent investment scheme.
  • Audit representation: A tax professional can step in to represent you when you’ve been selected for an audit.
  • Lien subordination: If you have a tax lien on your property that’s preventing you from selling or refinancing, Perfect Tax Relief helps you negotiate the lien.
  • Offer in compromise: You may qualify to pay only a small amount of your tax debt and settle with the IRS.
  • Payroll tax reductions: This service is for businesses that need reductions on owed payroll taxes.
  • Penalty and interest abatement: The company helps you receive a penalty waiver for situations out of your control like divorce, illness or death.
  • Tax advice: Perfect Tax Relief helps you understand your rights under complicated tax situations like an expired statute of limitations or bankruptcy.

How does Perfect Tax Relief work?

Perfect Tax Relief offers a free and confidential consultation. After your consultation, the company lets you know what kind of settlement you can expect. If you choose to move forward, its team of tax experts creates a strategy for your case.

Typically, the company starts by placing a hold on your case to stop IRS collection activities. Next, its tax experts do a full discovery by pulling your tax transcripts. Finally, your tax professional works to get you the best possible settlement. Ideally, you’ll only have to pay a portion of what you owe.

Perfect Tax Relief also provides support after the settlement, so you’ll know how to stay compliant in the future.

Started with Perfect Tax Relief in 2022. Now was 2025. Nothing has been resolved. At first they make it sound they can help you and reduce your debt with the IRS. Offer the wonderful OIC, which seems to never get approved. Once I started getting a bunch of letters from the IRS found out they weren’t communicating with the IRS at all, only to set up a payment plan. It was twice the amount as what it was before I started with Tax Relief. Do not waste your money on these people. All they want to do is take your money and do what you can do on your own. Set up your own payment plan.

Perfect Tax Relief helped me negotiate a settlement with the IRS for a fraction of what I originally owed—which was a huge relief. John and Ashley were both helpful throughout the process. John, in particular, was quite responsive and stayed on top of things. Ashley was also helpful, though at times I had to follow up more than once to get a response. I prefer to stay proactive and informed, so quick communication is important to me. While the response time could’ve been better, the end result was exactly what I hoped for. Overall, Perfect Tax Relief delivered where it mattered most and helped me reach a successful resolution.

I've been working with Perfect Tax Relief for a while over 10 years. I've had a very good experience. I noticed there were some reviews that were not the greatest. In the past I've worked with Greg. I've worked with Steve and recently Jackie. They do a great job for me. Jackie just saved me thousands of dollars negotiating a monthly dollar agreement with the IRS just a few weeks ago. I'm grateful of her time. She's very responsive and seems to work well with the revenue agents. Thanks again Perfect Tax Relief. I'm very grateful!!!!

I signed up with this company in 2022 with a promise that they will be able to reduce my debt I owe to the IRS which was around $30,000. Here we are 2025 and it’s still not resolved. All they did wasn’t OIC, which did nothing but the lady me paying Then they tried to reduce my penalty interest owed, which also did not pan out. I got a letter from the IRS saying they haven’t heard a reply from the letters when I was told Perfect Tax Relief was getting the letters and they are responding. Nothing was done to help me. The promises that were made when I signed up never happened. I don’t believe they ever reduce anybody’s debt as a promise. Will happen when I signed up. Since I’ve got my last pile of letters from the IRS and sent them to the tax lady who’s working on my case I have not heard back from them in weeks. Stay away from this company unless you wanna lose your money and end up owing more to the IRS.

      Reviewed April 27, 2025

I did write a previous review and this is in response to their comment on my review. When I had my consultation call with this company I was advised of what their service provided. They would gather data through their investigation through the IRS then we would have a call. They would go over the data that they investigated, which was in fact that I have two years of unfiled tax returns and I owe the IRS a small amount of money under 5K. I asked, "How much is this all going to cost me," and the gentleman said they charged a flat fee of $500. The initial payment was broken down over three separate charges. I did receive another phone call from another gentleman going over my financial information confirming how much money I had in the bank, so on and so forth, my mortgage payment was, etc., etc. I never heard back from them.

Now let’s get into the week of April 21. I had made several attempts to contact this company to find out what exactly was going on because I hadn’t heard from anyone and on April 22. I received a phone call from some gentleman. Now he thought he was calling someone else because he called me by the wrong name twice and then actually said, "Isn’t this so-and-so," and I said, "No, it is not," throughout that conversation. It came to light that the $500 was merely for them to only gather data from the IRS, the same exact data that I had already provided them. I could have personally sent them my tax transcripts because I told the gentleman that I had received them myself prior to that first phone call.

When I explained to him that the gentleman on the phone during the consultation, Call told me that it was going to cost me $500. He said, "I will go back and review the call," which means that they are recording phone calls without advising the consumer that the call is being recorded. We are talking about financial information, providing Social Security numbers, providing data, provided my debit card information and they are recording these calls without consent. At no point would I ever consent to that. This gentleman then says that he will submit an email to his partners to have the money refunded. I asked him when I would hear back from him and he said by tomorrow afternoon, which would then be April 23.. On April 23. I sent a text message to that phone number inquiring about the refund and he replied. "I have submitted it to the billing department and it will take a few days.."

On April 25 I sent another text message saying, "Well. I should see my refund today. Please confirm," or something to that effect. I did not get a reply back. Instead. I received an email from this company basically saying that now they’re offering a 50% refund because they did the work that they said they were going to do and after much back-and-forth basically they were offering me $250 to not file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, to not advise the IRS what they had done and do not leave negative reviews on every review site that I can find and post it all over my social media so they in turn were trying to bribe me to not do that and I told them no. I would like to point out that at no time prior to April 25. Did they advise me that I was on a compliance deadline with the IRS of June 7 to have those prior tax returns filed. At no time did anyone say to me that they had spoken with the IRS.

They were waiting until the last moment when I had no choice but to pay them $1900 or I would be a noncompliance with the IRS. Now fortunately I have already spoken with the IRS and they are very well aware of the situation. They have extended the compliance deadline and they offered me the name of a company that will file those to your tax returns for absolutely zero dollars. The moral of the story is if you have problems with the IRS you’re always better to deal with the IRS yourself or definitely do your research. Do not just go off of what you see on the Internet and make sure you ask all the appropriate questions like, "How many phases is this in? When should I expect to hear? I would like dates when I should expect this to be resolved." Make sure that you are telling them that you do not want the phone calls recorded with your financial information.

They told me that they would work on my case and they wanted my expenses and they would communicate with me as needed. They're preparing my taxes as well. The communication is not as good as it could be. But they have responded every time I've had questions. They had several options that they could pursue to get my taxes reduced. They discussed a little bit about which each one I meant and what they would pursue. I got a phone call saying that it looks like they will get it reduced by half. Then they called me again and told me that they were working with the IRS and that by the end of this year, they should have a final resolution to what they negotiated for a payback.

Perfect Tax Relief's shortcoming is they don't wanna listen. Some of their reps tell me what's gonna happen. I've got issues that I need answers to questions, and they just glazed over it. I'm not gonna sign up on something that I'm not comfortable sending to the government signing up on. They keep, "Well, we're working on this." They tell me what they're gonna do and it doesn't address my issues. I'm not sending inaccurate information. I really don't have anxiety with the IRS. I should have gone to them directly myself and had the conversations. It gave me peace of mind that it was gonna get done and it hasn't. Part of that is my fault, too. I have a lot going on.

Perfect Tax is good. The reps did a good job. Communication was good at first but calling and getting in touch with certain people changed a little bit. The whole process took about five months. Things on our end changed a little bit and it slowed things down a little bit. I had to sell one of my properties. Perfect Tax helped relieve our stress a whole lot.
