I would hire J. David Tax Law again because they are professional and get the job done. In 2013 we filed our tax return and the IRS sent us a notice that we overpaid by $271. In 2015 the IRS sent us a notice that we owed $44,816 on our 2013 taxes. We sent the IRS numerous banking documents, including a letter from the VP Bank Officer, proving the IRS wrong. The IRS sent notices from 3 different offices. After 8 years of correspondence, we hired J. David Tax Law. Our attorney, Erin, was fabulous. She constantly communicated with us every step of the way. Erin got the job done. We finally have a $0 balance due with the IRS. Plus, no more IRS notices regarding your 2013 tax return. Thank you Erin and JD Tax Law.

Hunter **—and later in the process, Erin **—were absolutely phenomenal to work with. This entire situation was long, confusing, and honestly pretty frustrating. But Hunter was there every single time I was ready to lose it, talking me off the ledge with clear explanations and real solutions. Erin stepped in to make sure I always knew I hadn’t been forgotten while we waited (and waited… and waited) for the IRS to finally send any kind of update.
If this review were for the IRS, it’d be a 0/100—truly a junk operation. But for Hunter and Erin? Easy 10/10. They knew exactly what they were doing, broke everything down in a way I could actually understand, and never let me get distracted by “too good to be true” ideas that wouldn’t have fixed anything. My previous bankruptcy attorney never explained how my tax debt would split and make the process twice as complicated. Hunter picked up that slack without hesitation and walked me through it step by step. I’m incredibly grateful for both of them. Highly recommend.

Very very impressed. I had state tax issue I was getting nowhere with for years. I finally decided to give J. David Tax a call and I’m glad I did. They were immediately upfront and honest about expectations with the state which I appreciate. I was assigned to Attorney Erin Weatherman and her assistant Erin **. These 2 are absolutely the best. Constant contact and updates on the case throughout the process. They were helpful in assisting the countless forms that I needed to fill out. These 2 are just really good people who are the best at what they do and in the end they saved me close to 35k. I could not be happier with them and the outcome.

I looked for a tax attorney online after I was being hit with huge amount of penalties for 2021 and 2022 unfiled taxes. I found J. David Tax Law and saw they provided free consultations so I gave them a call and talked to an attorney who ended up taking my case. The attorney was very professional and knew what he was doing. He helped file the past due taxes and receive penalty abatement on what I owed after everything was done. It lowered what I had to pay by a thousands and brought it to an amount I could actually afford to pay. JD Tax Law does great work and I highly recommend their service.
