I utilized both the tax preparation services and the tax lawyers, to resolve a very large potential debt to the IRS and CA tax board. While I was dealing with the firm, everyone I spoke to did a stellar job of letting me know what to expect in an informative and reassuring manner. This matter was potentially life changing for me, so it was appreciated.
While dealing with the tax preparation, I found that not only did they need less 'chasing' than prior CPAs I've dealt with, they were great at getting in touch with me, really great about being flexible, and not leaning on me to do an unreasonable amount of the leg work. In short, the best CPAs I've dealt with. In the end, their tax prep folks did such a great job that the problem actually went away! I'm now going to engage them to look at previous years' tax returns to see if I can find some more savings. All in all, this was an extremely good experience and I'm very grateful to the folks at J David Tax Law. Highly recommend.

I would hire J. David Tax Law again because they are professional and get the job done. In 2013 we filed our tax return and the IRS sent us a notice that we overpaid by $271. In 2015 the IRS sent us a notice that we owed $44,816 on our 2013 taxes. We sent the IRS numerous banking documents, including a letter from the VP Bank Officer, proving the IRS wrong. The IRS sent notices from 3 different offices. After 8 years of correspondence, we hired J. David Tax Law. Our attorney, Erin, was fabulous. She constantly communicated with us every step of the way. Erin got the job done. We finally have a $0 balance due with the IRS. Plus, no more IRS notices regarding your 2013 tax return. Thank you Erin and JD Tax Law.
