Had a great experience with Springleaf and will do it again. After we pay off this loan.

I received kindness and respect. The loan was fast and convenient.

Had several unexpected things happen such as complete brake job on car, cat to vet including emergency room visit, dishwasher broke, etc. Was short on cash for Christmas. Long story short, I got a loan at Springleaf.

Time considerate, customer oriented, make you feel like family, very helpful. My paperwork was ready when I got there. I called them around 11 in the morning. At 2:31 I got off work, drove over, looked over paperwork, everything was satisfactory and which spoken about sign paperwork and was on my way within 15 to 20 minutes. Hard to find that even at a bank. Great people to work with. Thank Springleaf of Dothan Alabama.

Awesome that you can apply over the phone; it only takes a few hours to know if you are approved. If approved you can go to the office, sign your contract electronically (No paperwork to sign over and over again), and cash your check for free at the bank two doors down. I'm never treated as though they're doing me a favor even though they're actually doing me a huge favor! Everyone in the office has a great rapport with each other and helps each other out. I have recommended Springleaf and will continue to do so.

My loan helped buy my oldest son college graduation gift, buy stuff for a baby shower for oldest son & helped with Xmas. If not for the loan I wouldn't been able to do all that for my son.

Having been hit by a Pepsi truck in 2005, and losing everything we owned, my wife, and I moved to SC, from NJ. We had nothing, we knew no one, and found it hard, to make a new start. We decide we needed help, but could not find anyone to help us make a new start. It all started with Credit Karma who suggesting Lending Club for debt consolidation, I was turned down. Lending Club suggested Spring Leaf who wanted to use my vehicle as collateral even though they said "You have excellent payment history". So they suggested One Main Financial who just turned me down and suggested Lending Club. I think these companies are run by the same individuals.

Taking out financial loans are a big decision, and when you make the decision to move forward, you want to deal with individuals who are honest, loyal and have integrity about how they do business. Sometimes emergencies come when you least expect it, and that was my case in November/December 2015. I had hit a deer with my back up vehicle pick up truck and because of its age and it seldom is driven more than a mile from my home, I decided to not put comprehensive insurance on it. When I hit the deer the damage was $1200 to $1500 dollars. I did not have that amount especially at Christmas time. But Springleaf came through for me and loaned me the money for repairs.

This was a bill consolidation loan that will assist me in having a lower payment per month while providing extra money for other expenses.

After taking this concern up higher, I managed to talk with the branch manager and he corrected my information. They did not have my start date up there correctly and therefore the system was showing them I wasn't allowed. I was happy once they said I was good to go and I got the loan today, I should be seeing it in my account in the morning!

The first time we made a loan with Springleaf it was truly a blessing. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer 18 months before. Due to the financial burdens it gave us life was very tense. They gave us a consolidation loan to pay off hospital bills. It is never just one bill with medical care. Radiology, Labs, inpatient care, copays, current bills that you still have to pay and all of the places have their own bills they send you. They also want it AT THE SAME TIME. It rescued our home, and gave me a place to continue to feel safe, and gave me the ability to heal.

Not only do they have horrible customer service, but also so complicated. They never follow up about anything, or give a straight answer. Always the runaround. You need to do all the following about your status. I applied with them for a loan and they did my credit check and said it was fine and just asked me to submit all my proofs which I did exactly as I was told. Then they came back and said "You know the underwriter department has declined your application because you felt short on the income requirements for the loan you need about $500 more in monthly income and suggested the possibility of getting a co-applicant and they can join the incomes." I said "OK we'll do." So I got a co-applicant to help me out, which between both exceeds the income requirement. Of course I submitted all co-applicant's proofs requirements. They verify everything was received and submitted to the underwriting department.

Applying for a loan was fast, simple, and I did not have to wait for a decision for days. The representative was very polite and respectful. I did not have to go through my whole lives financial history to qualify. The process was fast and very easy. I will always use Springleaf as my first choice in any future attempts to secure a loan. I have already told friends and family about Springleaf and how they helped me in getting my needed loan and how it will help me to rebuild my credit. It has been an awesome experience working with Springleaf. Courtney, your rep was very friendly and helpful. On two occasions I was in need of financing and Springleaf was there for me when others were not. On July 3, 2014 I came home from work to find my air conditioner had gone out and had to be replaced. I work for one of the largest commercial banks in the nation and I counseled with my bank and was turned down. I contacted another large bank where I had my vehicle financed and was also turned down. I contacted Springleaf and within a week had the money to replace my air conditioner. Recently I had a lot of dental problems which was estimated to be very expensive. I contacted my Springleaf Loan Officer and within a week I had the money to get started and enough to complete the work needed. Springleaf personnel were fantastic and understood my situation and worked to help me through a tough time. Thank you Springleaf.

My overall experience was great! Even when I was having trouble obtaining some of the paperwork I needed, my agent was very helpful as well as patient. This branch has the nicest and most helpful employees I have ever encountered. They treat you with the utmost respect and make you feel like family. They are so pleasant, sometimes I just drop in when I am shopping just to say hello and they welcome me with open arms.
