This business is very dependable and Professional. They also make sure you understand all of the process to make your loan, with great Customer support and follow-up with all your paperwork. They set up your payment plan to your comfort zone, and give you lots of options. They returned your phone calls if you have any questions. And they are more than glad to help you in any way.

I was contacted by this company stating that I was pre-approved for a loan. When I called, the rep took some information from me. After a few questions - I got concerned because they started asking for my social security number and personal information. I asked the rep why they would ask me for all of this stuff and she stated that she ran my credit to see what I would be approved for. I NEVER authorized a hard credit check. I just wanted to know how much money the loan would cost me. Then I asked for a manager. I explained the situation and he mentioned that the credit pull was already done and that I may as well continue with the application. So I did. Next thing you know they are looking up information about my properties and wanted to know the age of my kids...things that I would never expect from a lender. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND WILL CON YOU INTO GETTING YOUR CREDIT PULLED THEN REQUIRE YOUR FIRST BORN TO GET ANYTHING DONE. THEY ARE LENDING AT RATES THAT ARE QUESTIONABLE AND PREDATORY.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone and I have in the last few days. They seemed to be there to help.

Wonderful. All it took was a simple phone call. Within an hour or so my check was ready for pick up. Pleasure to do business with such nice and courteous staff. Once I submitted my application I didn't expect to be approved. But they gave me a chance. I will recommend them to anyone for their professionalism.

After doing a lot of research, I opted for them because of the reviews they have. Even here it's all 4-5 star reviews. I pretty much knew that my bank is not going to give me a loan, because my credit history is "young", as they call it. I tried anyway and I did not get it. My score is good, 650-700, so I decided to go for Springleaf, because I found a fair amount of reviews saying people were approved with score lower than that, and a lot of people who were rejected by banks got approved with SL.

I was looking for a personal loan and remembered that I had had a previous loan with Springleaf so I called and the representative was very helpful. I was told what documents the underwriter would need and I faxed them over for review. Three hours later I was approved and made an appointment that same day to sign my loan documents and was given my check. All loan documents were explained to me as I was signing so that I knew what and why I was signing. I would recommend Springleaf for a loan.

The loan process was the easiest we've ever seen. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly, from the moment we walked in the door. Being able to sign via computer is so much quicker and very minimum paperwork. Also great for the environment!

Short term loans. Short term loans are less expensive than at other short term loan companies and are not required to be paid back within 30 days. You can extend the loan with more interest. I have received large Loans and usually paid the loan early without any penalty. The staff has been courteous at all times. I have needed loans for funerals of dear relatives in other countries. I have been approved quickly to pay for airline tickets as soon as the office is open and forms are filled out.

Easy process. Worked with my loan officer on things needed. Will definitely consider Springleaf for future needs. My loan me was very nice and comforting.

I have done business with this company before when they were American General and got great service from them. After seven years they still remember me. They still have my old records, which was really surprising. I walked into the So.S.F Ca. office on 7/14/14 to ask if I could get a loan for $1800 and was approved for $3000. The interest rate was high but the mo. payments was affordable, and I can even make double payments if I want. The process was fast, I was in and in less than 30 min. It's good they haven't change their customer service values.

1. We shouldn't have had to pay for a copy of the released title of a vehicle that we had used before for collateral. The DMV said that this was the responsibility of Springleaf to have sent back to us. It is only a small thing; and cost us only $10.00; but it's just the principle of the thing.
