We were fully satisfied with all the staff at Springleaf in our town. The ladies were fast and very efficient and we really appreciated their hard work and efforts to get us the loan. Thanks to them, we were able to catch up on our utilities and rent and provide a home for our family not to mention providing food for our children. Deeply thankful!

The service was very quick and helpful. I applied over the phone and the next day stopped to pick up a check. I will use them in the future if I should need to borrow again.

The whole process was very simple and not complex at all. After applying, I was approved and received my check in less than a week.

Springleaf is a great company.

This was a very fast and easy experience. They worked very hard to get me a loan, but it wasn't the amount I was wanting. I wanted a nice cushion to move into a rental without worrying if I'm going to pay all the expenses of moving. They gave me enough to pay first month's rent and deposit. I might have to give up my cat because they want a deposit for her plus she has to be declawed. Also not enough for deposits on some utilities. We will have to seek additional assistance.

All of our questions were clearly answered, and we were treated with respect. Time was of the essence as we needed to replace our failing HVAC system. Any problem that came up during the application process, they helped me get through it. They were the only company that would help. I had tried payday loans but they only compounded my problems. I was recently very pleased with the customer service and prompt service I received. I wanted to consolidate some bills and pay some off due to my job changing to a once a month pay schedule. If I had continued on, the creditors would have kept charging me late fees even though I was still paying my bills that month and I would never get ahead and wreck my credit. This loan paid off three creditors and gave me the advantage to manage the other 2 and keep ahead without all those late fees since my employer only pays once a month instead of bi-weekly. I can manage my monthly finances and keep my credit good. Thank you Springleaf!

My credit had been damaged. I was introduced to Springleaf as a company that worked with people whose credit history was challenging in getting approved. Following questions, I was referred to Springleaf as a company that would work with me and within 24-hours, I was approved with check in hand and a payment plan that was both affordable and would also help rebuild my credit.

Asked for a $4k loan. Wife and I bring in more than that a month. Said my education benefits, largest part of my income at this time, were "too temporary". Debt to income too high, the normal story. Wouldn't discuss a lower amount. "Call us back if your situation improves". Why are you gonna lose sleep til then? Had much better experience with these guys when they were American General. Thanks for nothing, Springleaf. Back to payday loans.

RV purchased 07(with then husband), Am. General lost cert of origin, we tried several times and several states to get it registered. Am. General was not working with us to get it fixed, now same situation with Springleaf. Now total loss on rv, Insurance co. ready to payoff but no title to exchange. No one willing to work with us and fix this. Springleaf says it's our responsibility to obtain a title, Country financial ins. says it's Springleaf responsibility. Jenny ** at Springleaf won't let me speak to anyone higher than her. I have completed an affidavit with Jayco to obtain a cert of origin, which I have now received however the insurance co. will not accept it in place of title.

First loan - Friendly staff and fast process.

The person who work with me over the phone was extra nice and sounds very kind. The loan was approved quick than what I expected.

This is by far the easiest company I have ever dealt with regarding a loan. Did most of the leg work over the phone. When I got to their office, had money in hand within 20 minutes. That's fast!

I got an unsolicited offer for a loan of up to $4250 w/ payments as low $156. I thought this was the answer to my prayers for debt consolidation. I can afford $150 a month & my current combined payments are at least twice that. I went online, submitted an application for $3500. Within 5 minutes I received a call that I was denied. I asked if there was anything they could do, a lesser amount maybe? Nope - denied. Didn't even ask what my circumstances are, like advertised & stated in other reviews. Apparently my credit is too bad - well YA! If I had great credit I wouldn't be considering a loan at 25% interest... What a let down...

I normally back out of situations when banks starts asking for than just my information. If my credit information is not good enough just deny my application. I don't like giving anyone else's information especially if they are not applying. I have a good credit score. That should be enough.

Springleaf Financial breaks many federal laws. My loan I had with them when I was with my wife 1 1/2. Me and wife divorced and they took it upon themself to relieve her of the debt without my consent. The judge ordered all debts be split, they failed to comply with court orders. So happy that Springleaf broke the federal law and didn't follow court orders. I had these scam artists investigated and they are well engaged in deceptive business practices. They falsified Consumer Reports and lie to their clients about your credit scoring credit practices. We have found in our investigation that deceptive practices has created over 120,000 people to poverty. So in the end they may have destroyed my life, but I made it my life's mission to report Springleaf and drag them in to poverty like they drove me. So if Springleaf wants to break the law and get away with it, then perhaps prison sentence is what these scam artists need.

Very good, had no problem, the girls in the office were very nice. I was in and out in less than an hour. I don't know anything else to tell you except that the Killeen, Texas office is great.

What a scam this place is. I have a 645 FICO and bought a house for $200,000 last year. I have not made 1 late payment in last 6 years - but because I had a foreclosure 7 years ago Springleaf will not give me a $5200 loan at 26% interest. REALLY - If I had a 700 FICO score and PERFECT credit for my lifetime WHY WOULD I PAY 26% INTEREST TO SPRINGLEAF! What a joke of a place of business.

I have a 633 credit score… They want to borrow me 4700 bucks. The time it's paid off it would cost me around 8100 bucks. LMAO. Ok, go to a pawnshop if you need money!

After reading the reviews, I called the office and asked what credit score was needed to qualify for a loan. The representative stated that, "we don't look at credit, we look at payment history for 2 years". I thought OK, If not that's all surely I qualify. But I was surely turned down. I have been reading about all these poor credit scores who received all this help. Maybe it's because I am single. I know that I am not the only one who has been turned down because if I am, I did something wrong. Can anybody explain it to me? Even the person who recommended them to me was surprised. Something is strange about these reviews.

I applied online, and on the next business a representative from local office called. I thought I received a $5000 loan as claimed, but not until i came home and read the paper. I found my loan was actually a $5,700.00 loan at 32.15% for 48 months - $212.47 per month, extra $700 added to pay the insurances I was not aware of. The rep never showed me the original loan amount $5700 but just showed $5001 the amount after insurance fees deducted! She appeared deceptive when she talked about the insurance services coverage as if they are covered by your company without mentioning they are voluntary insurances that I can accept or decline, so i was totally unaware that I signed to pay insurance fees deducted from the total loan amount!!!! The rep told me her manager who held the checks was gonna leave early so she went over the contract very quickly (14 legal pages front and back) that I was unable to read the entire contract but only some parts she chose to show. And she never showed me the original loan amount is $5700 but just showed $5001, the total amount of multiple checks they issue for my credit card companies and me after insurance fees deducted!

This company showed concern toward my needs. They were straightforward and to the point. After the main information was cleared they were friendly.

Teresa was my financial representative. She was concerned because of my situation, but she pulled it off. She was very friendly, explained the process completely, and it was a very satisfying procedure. I received my check within two days and we went over the contract completely. I started this loan process over two months ago with my local bank. Trying to refinance under the HARP program. However, my 2nd mortgage holder decided to play hard ball and the refinancing for my 1st mortgage fell through. Hard pull on credit report.

I keep getting annoying solicitation letters from this company for over a year, when I have repeatedly by phone and mail, have requested that they stop sending them to me. The manager ** located at 4750 w. Fullerton Ave Chicago, IL. is always "at lunch" no matter what time of day I call and never calls me back. Now because I see that they do not care at all about this and this is now harassment for me and I believe they are breaking a federal law, it has totally destroyed any business relationship I had with them and I am telling all my friends and relatives not to conduct business with Springleaf as well. Just disgusted! I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I am currently researching on what legal action I can take.

We have poor credit and Springleaf did a wonderful job to get us a small consolidation loan so that we could pay off high interest loans to one that we can pay in 4 years.

Since they are located just down the road from us, we went there about 2:00 on a Friday afternoon. After filling out the necessary info on the computer, we were told it was no problem. The interest rate was very high and it seemed that this wasn't something that was on the forefront of discussion. Essentially I will be paying double the amount that I borrowed in the end. But, the overall customer service was good and I was able to pay off some bills and that was my goal.

I was in a bit of a pickle and needed to get a loan to fix my car. My problem is that my bank wasn't going to give me one so I was in a bit of a pinch. So I found the site google and applied thinking that it'd be a shot in the dark. Within 30 minutes I had a loan representative calling me to discuss the loan. After talking to the loan agent I was approved and I needed to submit my info. So I scanned all the needed documents and we were able to get the loan finalized that day. From there it took 2 business days for the funds to be deposited into my bank account and I was able to get my car fixed. Another thing that I like is that they'll setup direct deposit for the payment. So no worries about dealing with a website, the funds get deducted every month on the day I setup. The service was friendly, professional, and quick.

I contacted them as requested and we went over the application again... after I inputted the information already. I explained our income, which is not out of the ordinary. The rep I spoke with was very nice, although I could tell she was young and didn't understand what she was doing with lending money and how to explain their policies. The rates offered were MUCH worse than any credit card rate (the mafia offered better rates and terms) and this was not disclosed up front as I would have not continued with the application. Also, there were no guidelines shown in their upfront disclosures that spelled out that their max loan amount was a terribly small amount that was WAY below my loan amount requested. All-in-all, a terrible lack of disclosing loan amount regulations and rate information led me to an application and credit report inquiry that did not need to be done if I knew the pertinent information upfront.

I was very pleased with the service and professionalism that was shown to me at Springleaf. They helped with all of my needs and answered all of my questions. I will continue to do business with them in the future.
