Have had a loan that was OK, terms and payments thru AGF Co. since 2007. We bought windows and the company's loans were written by AGF. Decent interest rate and grace period of 10 days before a small late fee kicks in. No problem for years, always paid within the terms. Now if I am one day after due date they call me. I tell them, look at the last 7 years, you will get paid as soon as possible within the grace period if not on the date. Now they call me before the due date as a "courtesy" so I will set up a phone payment. I tell them it is not courteous to call me and bother me for a payment that is not in question.

Although there was a hiccup in the paperwork needed to complete my loan, they were patient with me and checked up on me once a week. After everything was in order it didn't take long to receive the money. I don't have much credit so it was nice to be given a chance to prove that I am reliable. Help me when I need cash.

Was looking for a loan. Credit wasn't great. Bremerton branch was very easy to work with. Would've liked a better interest rate, however wasn't expecting nothing grand with a lower credit score. Would recommend for people trying to rebuild their credit.

Although the interest was high I was able to secure a loan that permitted me to take care of bills and begin rebuilding my credit. I was also able to prepare my children for the upcoming school year. The length of time given and payments were reasonable and fit my budgetary needs.

Overall my experience was a good one. The only two things I wish was a lower percentage and be able to get a smaller loan like $500.00. I really liked how the paperwork was fast and easy. Due to the fact that my co-signer and I have had 2 previous loans that were paid off in a timely manner, it should have been a phone call asking for the loan and give them our basic information because they had the prior loans. Then we should have went by the office to sign papers and get check. They advertise that anyone can get a loan but that's not true. You have to have good credit or a co-signer.

I took out a loan to establish credit. My loan officer was polite, courteous, personable, and thorough. I left there with a warm feeling....almost as if I was dealing with family. I would strongly recommend anyone to them.

I applied for personal loan at Fremont, CA office on June 2 and I live in Mountain View, CA a good 25 miles away. They asked for my tax return for the past 2 years, sent them. Then things changed, didn't need the loan, said thank you for now. Things changed again, called them and requested for a loan June 25 since they already have my financial credit info. That evening, got a call back from them saying loan is approved, I need to come to their office with 6 references, proof or residence and my ID. Really all these could be done electronically, this is 21st century, they have archaic way of doing things! I emailed them references & proof of residence. Went to their office on June 27 PM, thinking all the documents would be ready and I just sign and get out in 15 min like my experience all my adult life. They show the terms, yes it's predatory but I needed help, I agreed.

I was late in my truck payments. Springleaf pay off my truck and lower my payment 50%. It's an open contract so there is no penalty fees if you pay off early. It was a good decision.

I received a letter with a confirmation number and it stated I was pre-approved for 5,250 dollars. When I called and applied they never got back to me. After about two weeks I called them and was told I didn't qualify for a loan. I asked the lady why they would send a letter stating I was pre-approved but could not qualify now. She stated it was just an invention to apply. Don't send out pre-approved letters if you're not going to approve people for a loan.

Filled out my application online. Received a called from my local branch and was advised of all documents that were needed to approve my loan. The entire process went smoothly. I first applied online on their website and I got an approval response quickly. The amount that I was approved for was only half of what I originally requested. Once I met with one of the staff members and explained what I needed, I was then approved for all, but $250 of the amount that I originally asked for. I recently needed a payoff. I found the customer service awful. When I finally reached a rep, I was told 24-48 hours to receive a payoff. When I didn't receive, I called back to inquire about my request. I was told it would take 24-48 hours to see my request in their system. I was then told the actual payoff would take another 3-5 business days. I asked to speak with a manager who was less than helpful and very stern and rude. He accused me of requesting he "break" his policies to meet my urgent needs and suggested I get on the ball sooner next time, if I need something in a timely manner. At this point, I'm going on 1 week and am less than confident I will receive a payoff anytime soon. Why is it this company will work so hard to get your business and treat you so rudely once they have it?

Home improvement loan - Fast, easy and friendly customer service.

This company was easy to qualify for despite having some nicks in my past credit. We applied to 4 other places claiming to work with ok/poor credit and were denied. At Springleaf they actually live up to their own standard. We got our funds the same day.

The process from start to finish was quick and the customer service was exceptional.

Me and my wife were in a real bind when the transmission went out in her 1981 car we just bought a few months ago, regular banks wanted to loan me way more than I needed, and my credit is not the best so I did not qualify for regular loans, and car was too old for title loan, but Springleaf gave a signature loan with exactly what I needed, and low payments. They even stayed late after closing time to get me the loan I needed. I would say every mechanic shop and home repair places should advertise for Springleaf. They are great to work with.

Loan to pay off debt.

I was surprised when I got a call from your office. It was very friendly and informative on what to bring when I decided to come up and fill out an application. It was all explained briefly over the phone on what would be expected of me and frankly that is why I made the decision to apply. No one else had gone that far on getting my business before.
