I would definitely recommend Springleaf Financial. They were courteous and friendly throughout the application process. I applied online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning to gather more info. The next morning (Tues), I got a phone call saying that I had been approved for a little less than I applied for. They told me what documents to bring with me and it took me only 20 min at the office to sign papers and get my check. Excellent experience!

The branch manager of the Matteson, Illinois office exemplified superb customer service skills. Didn't judge but rather showed professionalism and went out his way to show how to financially get out of a rut; of living paycheck to paycheck!!

Great company. Interest rate is a little high, but those with less than perfect credit are very much considered. The people are friendly and efficient. I always receive my loan proceeds within one to two days.

The office in Seneca, SC I dealt with were very helpful, but took it to other steps and offered several options that I could choose from. They were very careful in explaining all details as anyone who is in a professional business should do with each and every customer.

Even though the interest rates are high, they are wonderful people to work with at the Farmville, Va location. My favorite two people out of this office are Mr. Jimmy ** and Betsy, excellent customer service and the most helpful people you can find for being in a loan company setting. Applying is easy and you can get your money usually by the next day.

My fiance and I recently applied for a loan with Springleaf in order to consolidate our debt and start improving credit score. They say that they will work with people with bad credit but that is a lie. We know that our credit is bad and that is why we were applying with Springleaf instead of a bank. We applied for the loan and waited and waited and waited. We didn't hear anything from them. Then when I called them over a week later they told me they could only give me a loan for $1,000. If we only had a $1,000 in debt we wouldn't be trying to consolidate. They said they were understaffed and the person that was handling our loan had to go to another office and that's why they didn't contact us back. That says something about the company right there. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

It was really quick and easy. Really fair and not a scam type company.

My loan was done in minutes. I received the money I needed to replace my AC unit and everyone I dealt with was so professional and kind.

I was real happy with the results from my loan. I received two checks, one to pay a very high credit card $1,400 bill and one check for $1,201 to pay down smaller credit bill debt. I have the options to pay off early with no penalty and I have my loan insured in case I lose my job or something happens to me where the loan of $2,600 will be paid off in my behalf.

My truck needed a new transmission computer and transmission work. This is a high dollar (at least to me) transaction. I am a Senior Citizen on fixed income, as is my partner. We figured we could make payments combining our resources. Not many will consider an unmarried couple jointly. Springleaf did and loaned me the money without hassle or making me feel like I was asking the impossible.

Springleaf took into consideration of my needs to consolidate my bills to help make my credit in the positive.

It was easy to do the application and the loan officer was great.

This is the worst place to get a loan with. I wanted to pay my account out in full. I call the office in Macon, Ga on Tom Hill. The office manager told me that my balance was 2700.00 but to pay it off it would be 2800.00. I told her that this 2800.00 is my balance from September 2014. I told her if my balance now is 2700.00, then why would it be the same balance from the previous month. She told me ma this is an interest loan. I WILL NEVER EVER GET ANOTHER LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THIS COMPANY INTEREST RATE SUCKS. I TOLD HER, "YOU ALL ARE JUST LIKE A TITLE PAWN PLACE" AND SHE SAID YES. SHE DID NOT TRY TO WORK WITH ME, NO KIND OF WAY EVEN THOUGH I WANTED TO PAY MY ACCOUNT OFF IN FULL.

Borrowed money to consolidate all my bills. Everything went great.

Before now, I thought a payday loan was all I could get with a poor credit rating! I'm embarrassed to tell you how much money I've sunk into those monsters! With an $1100.00 loan, with a payday loan, the first finance charge was $260.00. I paid $100.00 toward the principal and the second month finance charge was still over $200.00. And I didn't have a lot of time to pay it off! I live on retirement and SSDI and my income is quite low. Those payday loan scam-artists prey on gullible people like me! I am a Christian lay-minister and it doesn't require literary license to tell you that this was a true answer to prayer! Thank You Jesus and Thank You Springleaf!

I had a great experience with this company! I read a lot of negative reviews before going to the office for the loan so I was skeptical. But, reading the reviews allowed me to ask a lot of questions. They were very kind and very helpful to me. They helped me understand the contract and the terms of the loan. I feel that the people that left negative reviews did not understand the terms. If you're not sure what they're saying, just ask them to explain it to you in a different way. Yes, the interest is a little high, but that is based on my credit score. I would absolutely recommend this company to anybody that does not have stellar credit and needs money fast. They were great and very easy to work with. I will definitely work with them again in the future if I need a loan.

It was a great experience getting my loan with Springleaf. The staff were nice and friendly and courteous. Very knowledgeable and were able to help me with my financial needs. I went in asking for a small amount thinking I wasn't going to be approved but I walked out with checks in my hand to pay off 75% of my bills. I didn't expect it to be approved but they helped me consolidate my bills and gave me a comfortable low monthly payment and stretched my payment out 45 days. Who couldn't be happier with that. Now I can breathe a little. Thank you.

The process to get approved for a loan and to receive the check was quick and easy. I faxed over all of my info. earlier that day and once I went to the office all the paperwork was done and it took about 10, 15 minutes and I was out of there with the money I needed.

Springleaf is a great company.

This was a very fast and easy experience. They worked very hard to get me a loan, but it wasn't the amount I was wanting. I wanted a nice cushion to move into a rental without worrying if I'm going to pay all the expenses of moving. They gave me enough to pay first month's rent and deposit. I might have to give up my cat because they want a deposit for her plus she has to be declawed. Also not enough for deposits on some utilities. We will have to seek additional assistance.

I was recently very pleased with the customer service and prompt service I received. I wanted to consolidate some bills and pay some off due to my job changing to a once a month pay schedule. If I had continued on, the creditors would have kept charging me late fees even though I was still paying my bills that month and I would never get ahead and wreck my credit. This loan paid off three creditors and gave me the advantage to manage the other 2 and keep ahead without all those late fees since my employer only pays once a month instead of bi-weekly. I can manage my monthly finances and keep my credit good. Thank you Springleaf!

Wouldn't discuss a lower amount. "Call us back if your situation improves". Why are you gonna lose sleep til then? Had much better experience with these guys when they were American General. RV purchased 07(with then husband), Am. General lost cert of origin, we tried several times and several states to get it registered. Am. General was not working with us to get it fixed, now same situation with Springleaf. Now total loss on rv, Insurance co. ready to payoff but no title to exchange. No one willing to work with us and fix this. Springleaf says it's our responsibility to obtain a title, Country financial ins. says it's Springleaf responsibility. Jenny ** at Springleaf won't let me speak to anyone higher than her. I have completed an affidavit with Jayco to obtain a cert of origin, which I have now received however the insurance co. will not accept it in place of title.

This is by far the easiest company I have ever dealt with regarding a loan. Did most of the leg work over the phone. When I got to their office, had money in hand within 20 minutes. That's fast!

I got an unsolicited offer for a loan of up to $4250 w/ payments as low $156. I thought this was the answer to my prayers for debt consolidation. I can afford $150 a month & my current combined payments are at least twice that. I went online, submitted an application for $3500. Within 5 minutes I received a call that I was denied. I asked if there was anything they could do, a lesser amount maybe? Nope - denied. Didn't even ask what my circumstances are, like advertised & stated in other reviews. Apparently my credit is too bad - well YA! If I had great credit I wouldn't be considering a loan at 25% interest... What a let down...

I normally back out of situations when banks starts asking for than just my information. If my credit information is not good enough just deny my application. I don't like giving anyone else's information especially if they are not applying. I have a good credit score. That should be enough.
