Terrible, terrible company. Nationstar applied my payment incorrectly and reported me 30 days past due on my credit bureau report. They misapplied my principal and interest payment causing me to be 59 off....therefore causing my loan to also be short $800 on principal too...or so they say. I called to have payment reapplied and it was denied. They were suppose to follow up with me and never did...even a week and a day later. They treated me like a criminal when I made all my payments. It was their processing error, not mine.
First of all, I have never dealt with a company with such lousy customer service. You can never get through to them directly. They website is not easy to use...so I just set them up on my bank bill pay system online to make payments. I do not recommend using this company! I got stuck with them after they bought out my original loan. My situation is still not resolved 2 months later.

I have my taxes and insurance paid from my escrow account with Nationstar Mortgage. Last year Nationstar was notified by my Insurance company and myself 6 weeks prior to the due date that our Insurance bill was due. Even with this notification from both of us, they failed to make payment before the Insurance lapsed. This was for my home in Florida in the middle of Hurricane season. When we demanded they make an immediate wire transfer to pay the Insurance, they simply made out another check from our escrow (the first one was en route to the insurance company...they say). 6 days later the insurance company had 2 checks in hand, and reinstated our policy.
Here is the fun part, Nationstar now showed our escrow as having insufficient funds, and required us to send a check to cover the balance. We did this immediately, only to have the check returned to a Miami branch of our bank (we live in Naples, FL). During this time that checks were flying around the country, they began the escrow analysis for the next year which suprisingly showed us with a shortfall, and would need extra payments for the next year. When we finally got the escrow money reinstated in the account, we asked for a reanalysis of the escrow, which took four months to get approved, and involved numerous letters and complaints to the Consumer Finance protection bureau and the Florida Office of Financial regulation.
When the escrow analysis was finally redone, they showed one month with no payment to my escrow. This was of course incorrect as we have had automatic bill pay set up through Nationstar since the account began, and all payments to escrow were made on time. I was unable to get this incorrect escrow analysis corrected, and finally gave up after 7 months of fighting. Worse customer service would be impossible!! They flat out steal your money, refuse to give it back and don't acknowledge your claims as valid. With all the focus on financial firms after 2008 I don't know how they are able to do this. Obviously nothing has changed.

I had a client who was notified by Nationstar her Deed of Trust was sent to someone she does not know nor ever authorized. When she tried to resolve the issue and get a recording of the call placed by the unknown person they were non-cooperative and even told her they do not have a legal dept. This company should not be allowed to do business in California.

Buyers submitted an offer of 300K to Nationstar Mortgage, they countered to 320K, buyers accepted but it's been 8 months and nothing is happening. Nationstar Mortgage move at a extremely low pace, their agents on phone have poor knowledge and poor customer service, all they can do is transferred the call and they don't take accountability. Each time I call I have to explain the entire story which means they're not keeping up. Complete neglect on their end with documents, it's been 8 months after offer was submitted and other documents but they keep asking to send them the same documents over and over. Proof here too - they are not keeping up with their files, they tell me they won't move forward till they get the documents and I have proof they've been submitted at least 5 times through equator system. They've requested time after time an updated HUD, title lawyer won't write one anymore because it's been 5 times already and nobody works for free and I don't blame her.
Everything is on hold due to an affidavit I've submitted 4 months ago, and recently submitted it to three different Nationstar agents to their direct emails including negotiator herself Melissa ** and they all assured me that it was being taking care of. Today I find out through the negotiator herself that I still need to submit the documents yet again when she has them in her hands, but it needs to be done through equator, and equator won't upload anymore documents because it's completely full. I understand they have rules to follow with equator but after all their mistakes and clear neglect they put us through, she can easily figure out how to make those documents part of equator in her end but she won't.
Today she tells me I still need to submit them through equator and this is all fine but due to so many submissions, equator system is completely full. I contacted equator support and they're telling me that the only way to be able to send anything is if they can make space and they haven't so I can't move forward, why is it full? clearly because they keep asking for the same documents and I've sent them so many times. My client is not a real estate investor and doing this sale for a profit, my client is in her late 60's, her husband passed away so she has no choice but to sell her home. Please help.

Trying to help my uncle navigate an estate. The homeowner died in July 2014. Nationstar has been taking PMI payments as part of the mortgage all along. The mortgage was sold to them by another company which included the PMI payment in the original mortgage. Now that they have been notified of the death and have received the death certificate they have sent the estate paperwork to refinance the mortgage. My uncle is inheriting the house and has no means to pay the mortgage and should not have to when there was insurance to pay off the house upon the death of the homeowner.

Well, I do not even know where to start. Nationstar is the worst possible mortgage company I have ever worked with. I was making payments every month according to the court order and they were returning my payments. First of all, they are not suppose to return the payments due to the order. Second issue is that they were returning LESS than I paid. The difference between the amount I paid and the amount they refunded is $19,000!!
The customer service is beyond poor. They do not see any payments in the system. When you ask a representative a question, they take a pause like a minute or two and you have a feeling like they disconnected. They transfer you every time you call like 5 times. And I would not mind that BUT there is no results from me calling them everyday. I hired an attorney. He works in Florida, since the property is in Florida. His service is not bad but it seems he can not find any solution. Does anybody here resolved their issues with Nationstar somehow? Please share your experience! Thank you.

In February 2013 I became unemployed and contacted Nationstar for assistance. After a month of trying to contact someone I emailed CustomerRelationsOfficer@nationstarmail.com and someone finally contacted me. Shortly after I received an email with an attachment outlining payments over the course of six months; they referred to this as an Unemployment Plan. This one page letter did not require a signature nor did it disclose any terms. I followed up with several phone calls inquiring if there’s a balloon payment at the end of the payments, the Nationstar rep told me no. At the end of the six months I was still unemployed so they extended the payments for another six months, once again never missing a payment nor paying late.
I landed a position in the seventh month and informed Nationstar, a rep informed me, in an email, that I can continue making the Unemployment Plan payment because my loan is now being considered for HAMP. I was told I was denied for excessive forbearance because I was on a forbearance plan. After going back and forth I asked them for a copy of the forbearance agreement, they emailed an unsigned agreement and then two week later I receive a copy of the agreement in the mail to sign… really after I made the payments they want me to sign the contract?
In a nut shell… I am 40k in the hole to Nationstar. My credit is destroyed. I am being sent demand letters for payment or I’ll received a NOD. I can’t get a loan to pay them off because I now have bad credit, and two days ago Nationstar denied me again for a loan mod for HAMP Tier I, Tier II, and in-house; this is most likely my tenth denial. I was denied for HAMP Tier I excessive forbearance, HAMP Tier II insufficient monthly payment reduction, In-house because my investor does not participate in loan modifications. A few months back I sent a letter to Nationstar requesting who my investor is; their response was US Bank in the Trustee.
I sent a certified letter to the President at US Bank requesting them to grant a loan Modification, they replied in a letter and stating that Nationstar has complete right to grant or deny a loan modification. I did some research and found out that my investor is the Lehman Brothers Holding Group, LLC. I also found out that several of the Board of Directors for Nationstar are former Lehman Brothers Senior VP and Managing Director. This is just the tip of the iceberg; I have every piece of documentation. I have spoken with lawyers and for some reason I cannot get help from anyone. I’ve been in my home for 14 years and do not want to move. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

I was with Countrywide and then through no choice of mine I inherited Bank of America. Because of a loss of income due to divorce I started on the modification hamster wheel. It was and still is an exercise in redundancy. Eventually BofA sold my load to Nationstar. Seemed like everything was going well at first but now they continue to request the same documents over and over again. I have a huge file that I'm sure an attorney could mark as exhibit A. I've already experienced this runaround with BofA and now I'm reliving it with Nationstar. They have no interest in helping anyone get a HAMP modification. And why should they. BofA is getting a $17 billion slap on the wrist for defrauding hardworking Americans of trillions of dollars.
So the lesson there for Nationstar is it is profitable to screw the American public and they won't be held accountable for their actions. I have no hope that they will do the right thing and this experience has taught me that I will never purchase a home through a mortgage lender ever again. If I can't pay cash or go through a credit union for financing, I will just rent and pray for the demise of these criminals. Long live the land of the "free".

THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. They got the loan from BOA, and I thought that they were bad! Nothing compared to Nationstar!!! So now, I have a check for an overage that was MISAPPLIED by Nationstar in the first place that I CANNOT cash!!!!! Nationstar has a "F" rating with BBB (Was D-). Would you enter into contract with F rating? Stockholder report dated 5-8-14, Solutionstar (Part of Nationstar) plans on foreclosing on 20,000 properties in 2014. That is their mindset.
Things to consider: 1. If property is heading into foreclosure, file bankruptcy. Stops foreclosure and judge can look at Nationstar practices. 2. If you call reps, refuse to speak to other country reps. Say you only talk to US reps ( Ask what state rep is from.) Eventually you will get US rep and a recorded response. Ask for reps name & ID. Call next day to confirm any agreement. 3. Do not refinance a govt mortgage with Nationstar. Old mortgage may have better terms and beware of company with a F BBB rating. Better to refinance with another co. 4. Write or email govt. officials & whitehouse.gov for direct White House contact. Politicians are persuasive during election time. 5. Write or email local and national newspapers with your experience. Enough letters will start a news investigation.
BofA is now paying out billions $ for their greed. Nationstar needs the same treatment. These steps work. I once filed bankruptcy to stop foreclosure. After canceling bankruptcy, foreclosure stated again. I filed motions which unearthed deceptive practices. Bank soon gave me full title to house. I currently have Nationstar mtg. Will not refinance. Will not talk to foreign reps and email the media on status.

They are still saying they will work with us but won't give you any information. They agreed to do a modification but within the same week of the agreement they sent the file to an attorney for foreclosure. It is as if they intended the foreclosure all along. We had our original loan through Bank of America. While during our modification process, BofA sold our loan to Nationstar. We were unaware of this sale until Nationstar started calling us to tell us our loan was delinquent. Nationstar raises our payments with no explanation whenever they feel like it. I feel like I have no rights! We make our payments every month on time and still feel like they are trying to steal our home from us. Our original loan stated that our PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance) would come off of the loan 5 years after our original purchase or before that if we had a qualifying percentage of the original value of our property. The 5 years has since passed and now Nationstar refuses to take off the PMI. I can't afford lawyer fees and hire a lawyer to go after them. This screams fraud and scam to me, yet I don't know where to turn to get help. I will be doing everything I can to figure out who needs to be aware of Nationstar's swindling. We refinanced our mortgage last June-July because of the great % rates being offered. In August our mortgage was sold to Nationstar. In September I called Nationstar because a posting on the current statement showed a little over $5K had been applied. The CSR explained it was a 'lender's incentive' and was split, a portion of it (amounting to one month’s mortgage pmt) was put in our suspense account (which I could take advantage of any month at my discretion) and the remainder posted to the principal. I asked from whom did this come from, my previous lender or Nationstar. They were not able to answer that question but assured me that it was not an error. I waited a few days, called again, got a different CSR, but asked the same questions; received the same answers. I still was not convinced. I waited 4 months before taking advantage of the monies in the suspense account and applying it to a mortgage payment.
Then I receive the notice that my monthly payment was being increased due to a deficit in the escrow account. Actually our insurance premium did go up $900 annually due to a flood in our home and the flooring having to be replaced. BUT, Nationstar increased our monthly mortgage payment by $200/mo., which totals $2,400 a year. They cannot provide answers as to why there is a $1,500 difference.
After five months (in May) I called and asked why couldn’t they apply some of the 'lender’s incentive', which was applied to my principal, to the escrow (covering the deficit) and return my monthly payments back to the original amount - where they were more manageable.
A couple of weeks later I get a letter from Nationstar advising that my account is in arrears and a monthly payment is due immediately. Of course I call to find out what is going on. Well, they discovered that I had not made a payment in January. I told them the payment had been made with the money that was in the suspense account. They told me that they had just reversed that entry (nice surprise) …. that the amount had been posted in error. Of course I had a ton of questions about reversing the ‘lender’s incentive’ per se, and how can they do that nine (9) months after telling me TWICE it was NOT an error. They told me it was not a lender’s incentive, it was an error on their part and they were very sorry.
The following month I receive a letter stating they had reversed the amount that had been applied to the principal 10 months earlier. (I guess it took them a month to discover the total concept of their error.) Here we are, the 1st of August …. Aarrrgggghhhhh!! I offered the solution of waiving the past due monthly payment only and they could keep the amount reversed on the principal. I told them I understand errors can occur but when I tried to bring it to their attention 9-10 months earlier TWICE, not only were they not concerned but I was assured by two different people that it was NOT an error. I explained that I think it only fair that both parties take a hit for their error…theirs in the amount of the monthly mortgage payment, mine in the amount of what was applied to the principal. For the time being, they have reversed all charges associated with the situation. Can I get the supervisor I’ve been working with to call me back …. Ppfffttttt!
Additionally, over the months, they post my payment, then they reverse it, then they post it … they also post erroneous amounts, i.e., $122, $10, $456 and then reverse those … our mortgage account is so jacked up you can’t make heads or tails of it …
Yes, I did contact an attorney …. He was arrogant with a bad attitude and demeanor. Can't really shop attorneys due to the consultation fees. Surely, an attorney will step up to lead a class action suit …. ONE CAN ONLY HOPE !! In the meantime, I guess we’re going to have to take a financial hit on % rates & closing costs and refinance with a reputable mortgage company before too much damage is done …
God forbid our mortgage be sold again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder if there is any way you can stipulate that the mortgage is not to be sold. It truly irks me that the customer is not contacted and advised prior to their loan being sold. This does not seem like a viable business practice ... especially when it turns out like this and seems to have affected a mass of homeowners!!

In 2011, the Beverly Hills bank that held our mortgage failed and our loan was taken over by FDIC. Several months later, we found out Nationstar had acquired our mortgage. We didn't find out the way a new customer of any reputable, responsible banking institution would find out. We found out after Nationstar finally contacted us by phone to inform us that we were in arrears. It turned out that they had been sending mail to the wrong address. Not the address of the home they had acquired the loan on, some other address, belonging to God-only-knows whom.
We had continued making payments to FDIC, never knowing about the change. They had our phone number, but it never occurred to anyone to call until they could begin doing what they do best: harass and lie. After we got that ominous foul-up settled, we began what has been a continuous series of problems with this so-called "business." The first was the discovery that Nationstar had been adding charges for homeowners insurance that we didn't need, since we already had homeowners insurance. Nationstar never asked about that. They just assigned us to an insurance company in Springfield, Ohio (that they happen to own) and added the cost to our mortgage payment. It took us many weeks to straighten that out - while they held our money - and get the hundreds of overpaid dollars back. Since then there have been many claims that we were behind in our mortgage payments. Those claims were false, and caused my wife and I much distress and hours of trying to communicate with anyone at the company who seemed interested in mortgage services.
About two months ago dozens of realtors began calling us asking if we wanted to sell our home. It was through one of them that we discovered that our loan was "in default." Nationstar was claiming (we discovered through more repeated attempts to contact someone at Nationstar who was in the business of keeping track of money) we owed them more than $12,000! We have never missed a single payment. This is the third house we have owned in our 44 years of marriage. We have never missed a mortgage payment. We have lived in our current home for 17 years and owe only a little over $100,000 on a home which is now worth about $750,000 here in Los Angeles.
Following our initial harrowing introduction to this group of fraudsters, my wife had started making all of our payments via registered mail. Every single payment for every single month was signed for by a Nationstar employee. We owe them nothing, but it has taken 2 months to finally climb the ladder of corporate incompetence to get to someone who works there to acknowledge that facts. Still, the default process goes forward, as the giant, idiotic, heedless machine that is Nationstar grinds forward, chewing up our peace of mind, hours spent on the phone, and lots of money spent with our accountant.
We have sent documented proof - including cancelled checks and registered mail receipts - of their unconscionably unprofessional behavior, but it seems they can't be stopped. Next stop, a personal injury attorney. I plan to file complaints with the CFPB, the Attorney Generals of California and Texas, and possibly the FBI (fraud). At this point, I feel like I'm living in some hell, where accountability and the laws of the land mean nothing.

Wow. Looks like this has happened to many people after reading the comments of Nationstar customers. We too were BOA customers and our loan was sold to Nationstar in 2013. BOA began charging us incorrect property tax. Our monthly payment increased over $100 a month. Turns out, they added property tax from another property we own to this Nationstar property in error. So when Nationstar bought our loan, I was already in the process of trying to get this corrected. After speaking to countless people and faxing documents several times, Nationstar finally corrected our monthly payment and updated the property tax info. I even had to do a 3 way call with our local property tax people and Nationstar.
In the meantime, I continued to pay ON TIME the amount our monthly payment was SUPPOSED to be thinking they would go back and update this. They refused to go back and change anything. So guess what. They reported us to the Credit Bureau as being late for several months, as I was only paying what was supposed to be due so they kept applying that back to the incorrect amount and eventually it looked like I skipped a payment. Now we aren't able to borrow any money or do much of anything due to this negative credit info being sent to the Credit Bureau. Just tried to call and talk to them about this and after being put on hold forever by someone speaking broken English, I was finally told they couldn't help me.

They refused to take off the pmi insurance off which mean they lose NO monies when the house is foreclosed on so they don't care if they help people like us out. They would just rather take our home and turn around and sell it to make more money off us. We owe $90,000 on our home it is only worth 30,000 at best so we were left with no other choice but to file chapter 13. I am a month ahead of my mortgage since 4 months ago. I did this to get them off my back and to stop charging me fees. Especially the inspection fees!!! When I have no evidence that any inspection has taken place. Well fast-forward to this moment. I now behind on my payment. That is according to them and I’m being charged late fees! I have not contacted them yet in regards to this issue but talking to them takes more than an hour and usually nothing gets resolved.
Another problem I had with them in February of 2014 was putting my money in a suspense account and then reporting to the credit Bureau that I missed my payment. They say that my escrow went up. (My insurance went down and my taxes stayed the same.) Then they say that when they bought my mortgage from BofA it came over with a short fall but they did not know this until one year after. They claim to have notified me but I never received anything. So although I have been sending my payments to them, they claim it was short and put in a suspense account and then reported to the credit bureaus that my mortgage was not paid!! Damaging my credit! I tried to work with them and I sent them a letter to please review the circumstances and retrieve what they reported to the credit bureau. They sent me a letter back saying that they did the right thing and they will not change it.

My original mortgage company was Bank of America for whatever reason they sold my mortgage to Nationstar. After losing my job and asking for assistance they were more than helpful until it came to follow through. At the beginning of the process I was under the assumption that a modification would not effect my credit... WRONG. Just found out that even though I made every payment on time once we agreed to the modification the payments were being applied to the old balance therefore my credit shows late payments. Also just found out that my principal balance was increased by the about that was past due and extended to 30 years. I feel we were screwed and taken advantage of when we were in a temporary bad spot.

In April/May our mortgage payment was increased by $220.00+ per month. When I called to ask why, I was told that our property taxes increased or our homeowners insurance increased. Upon MY investigation and numerous phone calls, I found that NEITHER had increased. I called back to report my findings and then was by Nationstar that 'someone' had read the wrong amount on the mortgage declaration and this was the cause for the increase.
This issue has NEVER been resolved. For the months of April-August I have continued to pay my earlier mtg. payment expecting Nationstar to get this fixed. I have been on the phone with someone every week in June and July trying to get this fixed. Every time I call it is a new person and I tell my story again and again. They have taken our payments (May-Aug) and put them somewhere, so now our records show that we have not made any mtg. payments since May. We are also getting foreclosure notices from Nationstar, as well. No one will take care of this issue and fix our problem. Our credit has been ruined because of this as well.

I have been working with Spencer in the deed in lieu department since March 31, 2014. I continually attempted to make contact with him to see what was going on with my file. Finally on May 7th he told me that Carrington Mortgage (the 2nd) was not cooperating with them on a settlement. I made contact with Gretchen (who was awesome!!) at Carrington and she said no one from Nation Star had even attempted to make contact with their company. She promptly emailed me a letter giving them consent to speak with them. I had it signed and returned to her by May 8th. Spencer also sent the settlement offer that same day within minutes of her getting the authorization. Gretchen was able to put her file together and submit and obtain approval for the settlement and returned it back to Spencer prior to the end of the business day. Things seemed like they were going right along, I met with the inspector on Friday, May 9th and Spencer emailed me saying they were ordering a copy of the title (which I was told was already ordered a few times).
On Friday (5/30) I received an email from Gretchen asking if I had heard anything from Spencer, we both had been attempting to make contact with him now for a couple of weeks. When I finally reached him via email he told me that he was still waiting to get the approval from Carrington on the settlement. I forwarded Spencer's email to Gretchen who promptly replied by attaching his email confirming receipt of the approved settlement documents. Carrington finally received the payment on Tuesday (6/17) and sent out the Settled in full letter to me and Spencer. After confirming receiving the documents he forwarded them to the attorney's office (per his email) to get the final deed in lieu document drafted for our signatures. It is important to point out that I started this entire process because of the letter they sent offering me up to 7,000.00 in relocation funds. Spencer did tell me that since they were having to settle with my second mortgage I would get a flat 3,000.00 in reimbursement funds.
After hearing nothing from Spencer I sent him an email on Tuesday (6/24) asking about the documents. He responded saying he had was "escalating with them quite a bit." I am not even sure what that means, but later replied they would need my (now) ex-husband to sign them as well. After assuring him I could get him to sign the papers I was told in order to save time he would email them to me and I would get them signed, notarized and overnight them back. We waited everyday with tons of unanswered emails to finally hear that they were not ready. This went on until Friday, July 11th, I finally received an email from Spencer with a UPS tracking number. They decided to overnight the papers instead. I was able to check the tracking number and saw that the label had been generated but not sent. I also noticed it was being sent to the vacant house and not my current address. I immediately emailed Spencer and was assured they fixed it, big surprise that was a lie too.
They sent the documents on Monday (7/14) to the vacant house and luckily I was able to contact UPS and pick them up at the warehouse. I was able to get them signed, notarized and returned the very next day. We then exchanged several emails about what happens next and when I would get my relocation's funds. On Thursday (7/17) Spencer said they would sign the papers and then he would overnight my relocation funds out either that night or the next. I went through the weekend and received nothing. After several emails and phone calls (that resulted in leaving messages) he returned my email yesterday saying he would have it ready and email me the tracking number by end of business day.
Today after several unanswered phone calls and emails he finally responds with, "I had management tell me that because of the value and because they paid out the 2nd lien, paying cash for keys would result in a negative value and they would not approve." That is what the entire deal was...it was all lies. I asked to have contact with a supervisor and Spencer responded, "The supervisor was the one who made the decision, not me." I was never told at anytime that I would not get my relocation funds or that the amount would be reduced due to the second mortgage. This is unreal...what a bunch of liars. I don't know how people like this can sleep at night.

I live next to a vacant Nationstar Mort property. I keep an eye on it for vandalism etc. Yesterday a car pulled in and I went to check. Two very young unprofessional men sat in the car. One stepped out when asked who they were, said he was there for the mortgage co., asked if I was the neighbor and said he didn't have to talk to me and would not tell me who he worked for! This property is 10 miles out in the country and I pack my gun for protection. He rudely told me he wasn't afraid or intimidated by me! What?! Instead of introducing himself and thanking me for watching over their property he insulted me. I have found the door kicked in twice and someone stole the hot water tank! I called the company to check if he really was their employee and got phone tag with no help whatsoever. All I will say is if this young man is going to be checking on property next to mine "every month" as he said, I will SURELY have my gun by my side each time he arrives! I will no longer care who kicks in the door, watch the property or call the sheriff when someone breaks in! I doubt I would call the fire dept if I saw the house on fire at this point. Terrible people skills from all employees of NationStar! I pity anyone that has to deal with them!

We had to file Chapter 13 October 2012. After beginning the filing our old lender Ocwen sold our mortgage to Nationstar. We have not made any payments as fear monies would not be applied correctly. Now our bankruptcy attorney has received a letter congratulating his client's first year anniversary in completing the first year of modification program as of October 2014.
Next day, received a call from Nationstar stating we had started modification with old lender, was not notarized legally. We can use this modification or they are offering a program through them. Told caller they sent letter saying we already were in a program..... I was assured I was not in any kind of modification currently. Ok... so exactly what is correct and so are we considered current or default? Apparently Nationstar doesn't know. I wish we could go with another lender!!!!

I'll be glad to be "responsible for what I write." - NATIONSTAR SUCKS. The biggest gang of crooks I've had the misfortune to encounter. Like everyone else, I got suckered into a home equity loan when the banks were on a feeding frenzy. It went through Taylor, Bean, & Whitaker (later indicted for loan fraud); then went to Saxon, another major gang of thugs; then Ocwen, which wasn't too bad; then, at the moment a "modification" was effected, it went to Nationstar.
They have reneged on every agreement, didn't even recognize the modification for nearly a year, which assisted in building up an unpayable "back due" amount. Always requested lots of paperwork they already had, and kept shifting the ground rules underfoot. YESTERDAY THEY FORECLOSED, and for me, it's a death sentence, so I don't mind exposing these jerks as they really are. See the Kindle EBook "Don't Do It!" for a serious look at home equity loans and the companies that "service" them.
I will give them a Pyrrhic victory, one which leaves the taste of ashes in their mouths, leaving them with an unusable mess, and as much bad publicity as I can manage. How I wish we could leave less than a one-star "experience rating." Mine would be about ten stars in the opposite direction.

After many long months, BofA sold my loan to Nationstar. It was almost at the very last step when the transfer happened. I was frustrated of the fact that I was so close to finalize it. It seems odd that it would be sold at very last week of my final answer. Nationstar was my new loan processor. I started everything from scratch with again. After submitting new application with all supporting documents Nationstar was keep sending me notes asking for one new or modified document every other week. I've been prompt with submitting all their request almost immediately. This has been going on for almost 6 months. I kept all my weekly/monthly fax covers I've sent to Nationstar.
Now, today the representative from Nationstar tells me that my applications has been expired and now I need to resubmit my original application with new supporting documents to start the process again. Tell me this is not HORRIBLE. Why could not they asked for all papers and changes at once after reviewing. Why do they keep asking papers one at a time, week by week? Starting my timeline and now asking to resubmit everything again. Is there anyone out there who hear us?

Fell behind with our mortgage payments last year due to some health issues. Tried to talk to our dedicated foreclosure specialist but that got us nowhere. Now we are trying to make a sufficient payment on our account and they will not allow us. We called them to let them know we could not make a payment until a certain day and now they have turned our account over to a lawyer to start foreclosure.
Just today I called to make a payment and they want over seven thousand dollars plus attorney cost. We did get a modification a few last year but lost a part of our income that we had when we did the modification paperwork. Trying to save our home but they truly do not care. We have children and one child is special needs, but that does not make a difference to them.
Our mortgage payment is not one that we can pay with one full paycheck, but would be more manageable if we could split the payment and have asked them if we could do this. Here we are 51 years old and the loan was modified to 40 years at over a thousand a month. All we want is to make payment on our loan and get caught up. Calling gets us no where, no one sent us any letters when we fell behind or anything, just a regular statement each month. Hope they are truthful and really want to help, but so far it is just pay us a large sum of money.

I initiated a Deed in Lieu on my house in June 2013. Nationstar was the junior lien holder on the property. A settlement with Nationstar was agreed upon in Sept 2013 by and with Greentree- the senior lender. Nationstar was paid the agreed upon settlement funds to release their lien and release me from the deficiency of the loan in Nov 2013. The property was returned to Greentree and the deal was suppose to have been finalized (in Nov 2013). The settlement funds were "misapplied in error" back in Nov 2013 by Nationstar. Therefore the lien was not released and I was reported monthly by Nationstar as delinquent on my payments to the credit agencies from Nov 2013 through April 2014 on a house I no longer owned. Meanwhile the property went up for sale in Dec 2013 with a lien on the title! Greentree assured me (in Oct 2013) that Nationstar had released their lien and I would get the appropriate documents releasing me from the lien forthcoming.
I made numerous phone calls in Nov and Dec 2013 to Nationstar without resolution. I checked daily the register of deeds to confirm that Nationstar had released the lien to no avail. Jan 2014, I continued to make calls to both Greentree and Nationstar. In Feb 2014 I got really pissed off and started filing complaints with anyone and everyone I could. After notifying Fannie Mae that her property, that was for sale had a lien on it, lo and behold, Greentree suddenly got their rear in gear and started to assist in resolving this matter (March 2014). Oh, and there happened to be a buyer chomping at the bit to buy the property too. Finally in April 2014, Nationstar applied the settlement funds correctly to my loan and released the lien. But I did not get the 1099-C, the deficiency waiver or my credit reinstated for the months that they incorrectly reported me as delinquent (I didn't own the property). So on through April, May, more phone calls with no resolution.
Into June 2014, finally I made a complaint to the BBB. Finally- I got them to admit they did not apply the settlement payment correctly, they forwarded the 1099-C for tax purposes and Nationstar has contacted the credit agencies to remove the delinquencies. I still need them to provide a deficiency waiver to me at this time. So I am almost there! It has been the longest and most stressful 13 months of my life. I have cried endless tears and contemplated ending my life. This should all have been resolved 8 months ago! So I guess what I want to say is even though these mortgage/servicing companies play their dirty tricks, treat customers like dirt, write and call until you get what you want. Borrowers like myself and the thousands of others who have been jerked around by these companies need to play them at their own game. Keep fighting until you get resolution because they are counting on you giving up! Write and call every possible place you can! Believe me I know it isn't easy, but I am proud to say that I have done it and I am almost there! And I won't stop until I get my deficiency waiver. I hope this helps, even if it is only one person.

Was hounded first by Loan Depot on behalf of Nationstar to refinance our home. Was told we were perfect for the HARP program. 3 1/2 weeks later, Loan Depot said they were unable to help us. I had confirmed with Nationstar that Loan Depot was acting on their behalf. A few months later, we were constantly being bombarded with emails, US mail and phone calls pretty much begging us to refinance. We said, "Why not?"
We began our refinance with actual Nationstar on 4/17/2014. Since then, we have been through THREE different mortgage professionals. They seem to have a high turnover there. Seriously unprofessional. Our third one, unfortunately, had our refinance dropped on her lap, but she is doing a good job trying to pick up the pieces. Since then, we have had to submit documents eight times. Some of the documents were just re-submissions because the bank statements and pay stubs were out of date. After all, it is now 7/16/2014, three months later.
The biggest problem we had was they were asking for a letter of explanation if we owned a completely different address. The address was down the street from us and they told us it was because we had sent a homeowner's policy with the other address on it. I went through all my emails I had sent, and this was completely false. They just screwed up. Personally, we only really wanted to knock 5 years off our loan so we could save more for retirement. At this point, we would be better off just paying an extra $100 a month and we could shorten it the same without all this aggravation.

When I called they could not give me any info on my cancelled policy. I asked them to look at the FEMA site, it is clear I am not in a flood zone. She said they don't do that. I had to have FEMA send a LOMA. This is a time consuming and could cost $400 if you have an agency assist you. I started the process. During that process I got a Elevation Certificate (EC) at the suggestion of a real-estate friend. The EC cost me $300. The surveyor said your house is clearly not in a flood zone. When calling NationStar about another issue I mentioned it to their rep Carla ** who said I can see that you don't need flood insurance we should not have placed a forced policy on your mortgage. I will have the forced policy removed. She said I should send her the EC just for the record.
A month later, I got a bill for the forced flood insurance. Almost $5000. I don't know who the policy is through but I bet it is with a subsidiary of theirs. What a racket. My LOMA did come through. When I spoke to a rep at FEMA she said your house is clearly not in a flood zone. I said yes but my mortgage company is requiring it. I have faxed the LOMA to Nationstar. I expect they will come up with another issue. I believe they will do anything to charge me more. They need to make money somewhere. If you know of a class action lawsuit against them I may join it as I am sure I am not the only one they have done this to. I am also looking to refinance just to get away from them. They also neglected to pay my homeowners insurance so that policy was cancelled and I called about it. But then in June I get called and a letter from Nationstar stating that their "investor" does not participate in the modification program and thus I have been denied and owe over $30K in back mortgage and fees. Fairly simple load, 265k, 15 year and 2.75%. Once sold into mortgage hell with Nationstar Mortgage the fun began. My original loan terms state that my payment is late unless received before the 16th of each month. Well Nationstar being the debt collect, loan service company they are, are trying to change my terms.
If I do not make my payment before the 10th of each month then they will charge me $10 for payment online and $20 for over the phone. I have spoken to them before regarding this issue and the other day I wanted to make my payment on the 11th of the month. Well of course I had to deal with them over the phone since I was not going to pay $10 to make a payment. Well I was greeted with the convenience fee speech for making my payment "LATE". They wanted to negotiate with me on the fee and after allowing them the knowledge of my original loan terms.
After being told they would waive the fee this time as a service to me, I had to again lash out at them educating them that my original loan terms will not be changed. I refuse to pay their business cost associated with Western Union. I will continue to fight them since my original loan term mentions nothing about Western Union payments and paying before the 10th to avoid a convenience fee. I have always had problems with them. When I asked how I declined whether in writing or over the phone, email or fax, they could not tell me not even the date I was supposed to have declined.
I had no choice but to restart our modification with Nationstar but every time I called them about paper work I've sent in they claim they never received it or one department is telling me that the other department did not update docs or did not receive the requested information. When I call for a status sometimes I run into conflicting information, no two departments really know what the other is doing. Or maybe that’s how it’s set up.
I’m a hardworking father of 4 and now my family of 6 is looking at foreclosure about to be put out of our home. In my honest opinion, I strongly believe this company is only in business to rip families from their homes. Their entire system is set up so families can fail when dealing with them. I can’t believe that while working with them we are constantly receiving letters from their lawyer stating that our home will be sold in August. What will I do with a wife working on her BA full-time, a daughter entering college, 2 daughters in middle school and a toddler who is overcoming multiple medical issues? These people are heartless. Right now I’m still working with them on the new modification. Only God knows what the end result will be.

I spoke to one named Michael - come to find out today from Nicole - that he didn't notate the account. Another I spoke to a Darren - yep - sure.... he'll call you back. It's a week - no call back. I think to them, losing my house is one big joke.

This is absolutely the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with - they lie and they are crooks. I struggled with my mortgage due to some life changes - and I contacted Nationstar (my mortgage company) to inquire about getting refinanced to make payments where I could reasonably make them. The representative told me I was uneligible because I had not missed any payments. I finally notified Nationstar that I was requesting a short sale and explained the reasons, I contacted a real estate agent who had 3 pre-qualified buyers wanting to buy the property - at a fair marketable price. One customer wanted to pay cash for the house - and Nationstar refused.
Nationstar also refused to sell to either of the other 2 pre-qualified buyers. Nationstar continued to harass me and say they were going to do a foreclosure on me even though I notified them of my intent and had the 3 qualified buyers. It was only after I wrote the Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau that Nationstar moved forward with a sale. They also cheated me out of money owed to me. I can't believe the government allows this place to continue to do business even though numerous lawsuits have been filed against the company and the complaints continue to be in the thousands. What can we do to stop this and to get another class-action lawsuit against these crooks?

Our Mortgage was transferred from BofA to Nationstar in April of 2013. About one month prior, I received the letter from BofA stating that the transfer was taking place. I received the welcome letter from Nationstar and checked out their website. I also read online reviews on sites like this and I was completely mortified that my mortgage was heading to Nationstar. I set up my online account and called them just to make sure that everything was transferring smoothly, as I was expecting the worst.
Up to this point, I can say that I am happy with Nationstar. I transfer my monthly payment from my BofA account to Nationstar every month so I have a record of when the payment is made. On the day that the payment is scheduled to go to Nationstar, I check my account online on their website, and the payment is always credited and the site is updated by 1PM on that day.
I have not applied for a loan modification or tried to do something different with my escrow so I cannot comment on that. But what I can say is that I have made my monthly payment every month and have not had any issues with Nationstar.

Like most on here, my mortgage was sold off to Nationstar from Bank of America in 2013. Unlike most, I never had any problems with BOA. As long as my account was posted accurately and my taxes were paid, I was content. The problems started at the transfer. I was NOT notified of the transfer until mid-April 2013 that the loan was transferred AFTER I paid my April mortgage to BOA. The transfer letter stated it closed in early March...thanks for the notice! I was able to clean that mess up fairly easily, no big deal, problems happen and I have always had a laid back attitude towards problems. As long as it gets fixed quickly and to my satisfaction...we are good.
Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. Flash forward a few months and I start getting tax bills (county, local, every place I owed taxes). I call Nationstar and was told that there was money in my escrow transferred from BOA, they weren't sure why the taxes weren't paid and did pay them. Again...annoyed, but fine...as long as they got paid. Let's jump ahead to 2014, the county I reside in has a website and you can see when your taxes were paid. Lo and behold...my 2014 county taxes were not paid. What's more embarrassing is that anyone can look up my tax information if they know my address. It embarrasses me because I have NEVER paid any bill late...I am not that person.
Anyways, I called NS and they tell me that their system shows I am not due to pay taxes until 2015. After telling them that that is obviously not true...I was told they will put in a "work order" and investigate the problem. A few weeks pass and I check my county taxes again and the taxes are STILL not paid! Again, on the phone. This time I was told that it is scheduled for payment and NS will cover the cost of the late fees and penalties (I would hope so). Although highly annoyed, at least it was taken care of.
Today, I check my mail and I have 2 tax bills!! Local and county!! What is the point of an escrow if your taxes aren't paid? At this point, I would rather just put that money in my savings and pay it myself. I refuse to have to call the mortgage company every year to make sure they pay my taxes. This has been the worst company I have dealt with. You do everything right to be a responsible person only to have so done screw you over. If I encounter 1 more problem, I will be refinancing and I would strongly recommend others to explore the same option.

Nationstar Mortgage bought my home loan from First Horizon a few years ago while I was in Chapter 13 bankruptcy and successful post bankruptcy discharge they mailed me a letter stating I was $3800 delinquent. I called my Chpt 13 bkk attorney and he explained but very poorly I should have paid him an $500 extra months earlier to deem my mortgage current and I was living on borrowed money as it was and then I learned the hard way how nasty Nationstar can be when you don't pay up your lawyer and bring the mortgage deemed current by the trustee.
I filed a home loan modification with Nationstar in May 2013 and it took till August of 2013, after tons of emails and phone calls back and forth, before they stated they had everything. Then I called and emailed them every 2 weeks for months in a row only to be told it was in 'underwriting' being processed. In March 2014, I was successfully discharged from Chapter 13 bankruptcy and Nationstar mailed me a statement a few weeks later stating they were not paid in full. I had to email the consumer financial protection bureau several times with scanned copies of my bkk documents to get Nationstar to reduce the $3800 to $1700 to bring the mortgage current.
In April 2014, I also complained to MMI-money mgmt international and they contacted Nationstar on my behalf only to get the runaround for weeks at a time leaving me in limbo. MMI told me on the phone in May 2014 that my mortgage was modified April 30 2014 but had no further details saying my account had been escalated and I had to talk with the escalation people at MMI and then I got more delays and phone transfers to people who knew nothing about my Nationstar mortgage account standing only to transfer me to the next escalation person.
This week I got a letter from Nationstar stating it was in response to my complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau stating if I paid $1715, my mortgage would be deemed current and my mom is loaning me $1715 and I will mail it a certified bank check via USPS priority mail with tracking. Now...about my home loan modification, they said they claimed to mail me the packet in May 2014 and called me several times trying to work with me on the home loan modification. Well come June 1 2014, they said I hadn't responded and cancelled the home loan modification...ugh!
They never mailed me a home loan modify packet ever. I checked my mail 2x a day and never got a thing. They never called me either only to claim on the phone, "Oh yes sir we did, we tried to call you several times in May 2014..." That's BS! I had complaints with the consumer financial protection bureau and MMI and nobody in May 2014 would confirm my home loan had actually been modified. Both the consumer financial protection bureau and MMI had been in contact with Nationstar since April 2014 when I filed my complaints.
Now, Nationstar tells me on the phone today once I bring the mortgage current I can start over and reapply for a home loan modification. The guy on the phone today lied to me and told me 3x promising to email me the packet and guess what, it never arrived...go figure! So I logged into my Nationstar secure email account and complained I want the application. I also had to file brand new complaints with MMI and the consumer financial protection bureau. Nationstar ALWAYS sends me bills stating how much I owe them still to be deemed current but they don't send a home loan modification packet certified mail so they are sure I got it and signed for it...that's really messed up!
Nationstar has screwed me over good. I am a disabled veteran and when I can apply for a VA home loan mortgage refinance with Quicken loans in March 2015, you have to wait one year from bankruptcy discharge to apply, I'm going to do my best to make it happen. May God be with me! NATIONSTAR MORTGAGE IS A CROOK AND A LIAR!

Most of the problems that I have read with these complaints I had with Bank of America. When Bank of America sold my loan over to Nationstar, it has not been nearly as bad as when I was with Bank of America. So far I have not had any major complaints with Nationstar. While with B of A, they really screwed us over. We were trying to modify and after a year with going through what we did with B of A, we opted out of the modification. Since we opted out, I told B of A to remove our escrow account and to put us back into the original loan amount that we were paying for many years.
Then after getting back into our original loan for about three months, B of A put our escrow account back in and would not accept our payment unless we paid it in full. Since they would not accept our payment unless it was in full, they foreclosed on us within three months. So we had to come up with a very large payment to get out of foreclosure. We were able to save our house at that time. But since then we were making a larger house payment and fighting with B of A to get the escrow removed.
Then loan got turned over to Nationstar. Since we've been with Nationstar, we have had no issues at all. They have been pretty good with us. We tried to do the modification again but it was not accepted. So we decided to leave well enough alone, then after about a year being with Nationstar, we asked if there was a possibility of removing the escrow account. They were able to do it for us. I think they did it for us because there was a class action lawsuit against Bank of America for putting escrow accounts when they should not have been.
So overall I can't say I've had a terrible experience with Nationstar. My home loan now is much more affordable on a month-to-month basis and we have no problems being able to pay our taxes on our home. It's allowing us to live much more comfortable throughout the year. But after reading all your complaints, I will keep my eyes open, and watch very closely to what is happening with our home loan. I had to put this post up just because I felt that Nationstar treated us much better than Bank of America ever did. Bank of America forced us to make decisions that will hurt us for very long time.

I was fully eligible for a HARP modification and received pre-qualification for $100,000 in Keep Your Home California money which would have reinstated my defaulted loan with Nationstar. In January I notified Nationstar that I had the funds to reinstate. I was advised that my file had been flagged by the legal department and the legal department would give me a call. Each two weeks I called and was told the same thing. Each thirty days they postponed my foreclosure sale. I called, they said the customer service agent could not speak with me, that the file HAD to be handled by the legal department and until they released it there was nothing I could do, not pay the $100,000 or submit my paperwork to Nationstar to reinstate my loan.
On June 10, 2014 they foreclosed on my home unknown to me. I coincidentally spoke to a customer service agent on the evening of June 10th and again was told that my case was still pending a legal hold. They suggested I go to the court and get a copy of a legal document and fax it to them so they could release my file, that might help. I asked why did they not tell me that for six months. I did get the form, faxed it and called the next day. They said they got the form and were trying to get the file released from the legal department, but I should get a hold of KYHC and reinstate my request for the funds to reinstate.
The next day I was served with papers from a man who told me he owned my home and I would have to leave. I was shocked. He had bought my home at auction. I called Nationstar and they said that they were sorry but they knew nothing about a sale and they were sorry that this was happening but just do as they ask and continue with the process. I have now been served with eviction documents, my house has not changed hands meaning no trustees deed has been recorded and I am now being sued by someone who paid money for my home but does not have clear title.
I am devastated. For six months they lied to me when I could have reinstated and received a modification if needed at that time. Their records reflect every call I made. It reflects what they told me. They lead me on and would not accept my money to save my home where I raised my family. I followed their instructions to the letter and they handcuffed me with their "legal department hold" until they could foreclose. FNMA was the investor. Don't just blame Nationstar, FNMA or your investor actually gives the go ahead to foreclose in many if not all cases. I need assistance to bring attention to my and others cases. This is just wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My mortgage had changed hands a few times originally I had refinanced with quicken loans. A seamless and well executed transition took place to Bank of America, all while maintaining weekly deductions from my checking account for expedited repayment plan. Then the mortgage goes to Nationstar and the problems begin. Fortunately I had received a letter from Bank of America stating the new account number and address to submit payment. Shortly later, I received a letter from Nationstar that they would not respect the already existing payment plan and I had to make full payment by my due date. Fortunately, I was able to make the full payment I had no budget for.
Eventually nationstar sent me a letter to start on their expedited payment plan. I gladly agreed, made my normal monthly payment, noticed they started taking the weekly payments, so I knew I would not have to make another large monthly payment. Wrong - Nationstar did not apply the payment until after two months passed, dinged my credit. All while collecting not only the payment but an additional months payment and additional 'servicing' fees.

I can't find two employees on the same page. Their big words are help and dedicated which I'm still trying to find out who fits that categories. I have a loan specialist who claims he is dedicated and haven't heard from him since last October when he was trying to help me get my mortgage balance to zero to apply for a loan modification to only find out 3 months later I didn't have a disability, death, or divorce to contend with.
Later finding out Nationstar started paying my property taxes and property insurance due to not having escrow through the loan modification process when I had been paying for both since 2001. I had never received any document pertaining to this until I requested them. The balance is over $7000 which I'm suppose to pay an extra $700 a month to catch up with the balance along with the mortgage. I could go on and on but the real question is how would one protect or help themselves while going through experiences like the ones at Nationstar.

Back in November of 2013, I changed homeowners insurance companies. The old insurance company sent me a reimbursement check for a whole six months of insurance, since Nationstar had just paid them. I deposited the check and then turned around and called Nationstar to pay that amount on my escrow account. They took my payment and gave me a confirmation number telling me that it would go straight to my escrow. To make a long story short, they never credited it to my escrow and it took me over six months to get them to tell me where the extra money went. It was just credited to my principal, not to a mortgage payment, but just absorbed into the principal. This allowed them to start charging me $100 more a month on my regular monthly payment to try to make up for the escrow shortage. Still haven't gotten it totally worked out, but they did finally did return almost all of the original insurance check amount to a suspended account.
Now, I have to track down someone in escrow to show them that they are way overcharging me in escrow every month. Luckily for me, I kept detailed records on every call, etc. The other thing about Nationstar that really gets me is the fact that if you fall behind on your mortgage they harass you by sending you a letter every day (sometimes by registered mail) and calling you several times a day. I don't need a letter or a call everyday to tell me that I am late on my payment. The fees to pay your payment online or by a phone representative are also crazy high ($19). Our mortgage was sold to them, and we can't wait to get out from under them.

I've had the same problems with Nationstar as well. I applied for a modification over 1 year ago and encountered horrific treatment from this company. I was asked to fax the same 21 pages of documents over and over. I spent over $100 in just on faxing costs.
After more than a year, they finally said that they would modify my mortgage. They miscalculated the estimated escrow cost. They modified my loan allowing them to hold double the amount that it would take to pay my escrow fees. My taxes and insurance cost $2500 per year to maintain and Nationstar is requiring that I hold $5000 in the account. I phoned them to ask about this miscalculation and was told it would be fixed. It has now been over 3 months and nothing has been corrected.
In the meantime, they have placed my account on delinquent status and are preparing to foreclose. I think this "company" maneuvers in such a way as to make it impossible to exercise one's rights under the law. There has just been too many incidents of mishandling of people's accounts for me to believe this is not calculated on their part.
I have spoken to my so-called "single point of contact" probably 2 times. She has never been available and never returns your call. It is impossible to get anything resolved with Nationstar. They pass the buck from department to department. It's not until their backs are against the wall that they admit fault, but then will not do anything to help resolve. These people are manipulative, dishonest and disgusting. I certainly do hope that there will be a class action suit against them!
I guess the penalty for being unscrupulous is not enough to deter this disgusting business practice.

I have tried on numerous occasions to work with them to find out if there were any options available because I was still having to pay my entire mortgage payment even though I was unemployed. On more than one occasion, I was told that there was an unemployment program, but since I no longer drew unemployment I did not qualify.
While I was drawing unemployment, I tried to get help from Nationstar, but was told that unemployment income did not count (I am a single mother and the sole source of income in my family). Last year, I received a foreclosure letter, and I had to get an attorney's help to keep them from foreclosing on my home. The attorney told me that she would be working on a modification, and as long as she was in negotiations with the company they could not foreclose on my property. Every time we sent them the packages that they had requested, they asked for more claiming either that they have not received the information (even though we send everything 3 ways, by mail, e-mail and fax!!!) or that they are outdated. Once when they ran out of excuses for not receiving our information, they kept changing our contact persons. At first claiming that she is on vacation for a month and then by assigning our file to another contact person who would go on a vacation for a month and...
After 2 years, we finally got a chance to talk to a local person at Bank of America. We made an appointment and went to their office in San Diego. We took all the documents with us for the 20th time. We sat down and went over everything with the Bank of America representative. The contact person approved that our file is complete and that it will be processed and approved shortly. After about one week we received a letter from Bank of America and Nationstar Mortgage Company that our loan has been transferred to Nationstar Mortgage Company!!! And that we have to start everything all over again!
We have been going through the same scam with Nationstar Mortgage Company that we had to go through with Bank of America. They keep asking for documents, we keep supplying them with what they need, through registered mail, e-mail and fax, to phony contact persons who never reply to us and when we call asking for them, they themselves tell us that they do not have such an employee!!! It is now close to 3 years that Bank of America and Nationstar Mortgage Company have been playing games with us through the scam of either needing more documents or that the documents are getting outdated (due to their own delays) and keep assigning our case no existence personnel. And sending them on vacation and assigning a new one to our case!
When we ask Nationstar Mortgage to give us an address so we may go to their office and present them with the documents they claim they have never received, they reply that they do not have an office in San Diego, or anywhere else for that matter, for someone to go in and present them with the required documents. I believe this is immoral, unethical and must be illegal (and so typical of Bank of America). All the banks and mortgage companies who conduct their business in any state, or a large city, must have a local office for their clients to go in to take care of their business. I think this is time for a class action law suit. We have every single document to show the entire scam of Bank of America and Nationstar Mortgage Company.

When I asked why they were calling, I was told that they couldn't tell me until I verified my account - got their number and called them back.
When I called them back, I was told by the automated system that I was $4.83 past due. Payment is due on the 14th, I made the payment online on the 14th and today is the 17th - THREE DAYS and they don't have my payment posted to my account??? Then when I spoke with someone, that I could barely understand, they said my account was current and nothing was past due but there was some delay in the system when payments are made online. You would think that if they know that there is a delay with the online payments that they would check before they make a call to a customer to tell them that they are past due.

Nationstar purchased my mortgage from PennyMac. When I registered an account on their website my statement claimed that I owed $10,400 immediately. When I finally navigated their phone system and got a representative on the phone I asked what the $10,400 was for because my account was current and in good standing with PennyMac. In barely understandable broken English I was told that it was for insurance and taxes that my previous mortgage company hadn't paid. After I got confirmation from PennyMac that the taxes and insurance had been paid (they supplied dates and check numbers) I called Nationstar back.
When presented with this proof of payment the Nationstar rep said she would have to check further, because there was no record of the $10,400 in their records. I pointed out that yes there was, because it was on my statement page, and I surely didn't create that page on their website. I told her if this wasn't resolved in 24 hours I was turning her over to the BBB and also making a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's office. Anyone who voluntarily does business with these people is crazy.

My father passed away in mid-March and my mother's income was reduced. She heard about a loan modification and decided to look into this option but, because my father wasn't a good record keeper, had to contact Nationstar (who bought out her previous loan company and was foisted on her) for a copy of the loan paperwork. They refused, saying her name wasn't on the loan (but it is on the deed). She explained that my father had passed, so they told her to send a copy of the DC and estate info. She also explained that there was no estate - only debt - but sent the DC. Nothing. She called again and got the run around. This company does not comprehend that my father is gone; my mother is now paying the mortgage (on time), and there is no estate.
The other day she went to the county clerk who found that her name IS on the loan. Again, she called Nationstar and they fought with her that her name IS NOT on the loan. She told them what the clerk said, but they refuse to listen. NOW they tell her that they want her to sign over power of attorney to them. Power of Attorney!!! Are you kidding? What a scam. All she wants is a copy of the paperwork so she can look into a loan modification. Of course, it won't be with this rip-off company, so maybe that's why they are dragging their feet. Everything they have told her is nonsensical. I have no financial background and even I can figure out that a company that withholds information and wants power of attorney is a deadbeat company. This ordeal is taking a toll on my mother's health. She is going back to the county building tomorrow to get additional information from the clerk. My story sounds eerily similar to Steven from Sacramento (June 3).

I have the same experience with BofA and Nationstar as many of you have. The best way to deal with them is this. File a complaint with CFPB.gov. EVERY TIME they don't fulfill their services obligation. While I deplore govt. this is the only way to heal this dog. Read the RESPA codes to know the timelines. Ask for everything under the sun. When they don't get back to you. File complaint.

Nationstar Mortgage bought my account from Bank of America. When I tried to call them, I was told that my phone number wasn't the number on the account and told to try again before their auto-teller hung up on me. Shocked, I tried again and the same thing occurred. I used Google to find their company online. I went to their page and used their "Contact Us" page. I gave them my current phone number, my email address, and instructions on how I wanted them to service my account. An account that had never had a late payment.
Two months later, I found out that they had been totally ignoring my instructions. I tried calling and was given the same message about an incorrect phone number. Again I tried using their "Contact Us" page and again I was ignored. I sent them a letter via the U.S.P.S. and gave them my phone number and email address. That, too, was ignored. It was over a month after the letter that I finally got in contact with them on the phone. They wanted me to know how sorry they were for all the difficulty I had and what I needed to do to become current in my account for them ignoring me. They did, in their defense, send me all the information I needed to become current after their nonfeasance. I was the one who ignored them then. I sent in what I wanted them to do. When I apologize, it is because I do something wrong. I expected the same from them. I sent in a "Written Request for Information," in accordance with their rules.
According to their response, none of the things I "claimed" to do was not valid because they were not part of their records. According to them, I never sent them a letter via the U.S.P.S. Fortunately, the Post Office keeps better records. I know the exact day and time the letter arrived there and who signed for in within the company. I told my lawyer to accept their lawyers assertion and the foreclosure that is sure to follow. I showed him my browser history for the number of times I used the Nationstar Mortgage "Contact Us" page. Fortunately, just going to the page shows one thing. Actually writing to them got an automatic "Thank You" response page which also shows up on my browser history. I'm waiting now for the "non-feasance" case to get my money back that I have paid and the money I used to upgrade my home.

Nationstar Mortgage took over servicing our loan on 4/13/2013 from BOA. Their letter to us stated we would receive a "Welcome phone call & monthly billing statements each month." We received neither and made our payment each month to Nationstar's directed address & account #. No communication from Nationstar since then, until June of 2014, in which we receive a copy of a motion of "relief" to US District Court of Colorado by Nationstar, stating incorrectly that we are late on payments from March - May 2014. They also listed our payment amount $98.00 per month higher & incorrectly stated there is a minor lien on our property.

I have read many of these reviews and agree completely!!! Bank of America also sold my mortgage. With the service this company provides, I will need to refinance (which will create more $$'s out of my pocket due to Bank of America doing what they did by transferring me). I've given this company a year to prove to me that they can handle everything without consistently trying to attach some fee or another on & I have to call them out on the carpet to get it removed. Last month, I made my payment which was on the 17th, so I knew I would have a late fee attached so I just paid it then. This month, my late fee from last month appeared as being due in June. Lots of sneaky attempts to make extra money from the customer. They are TERRIBLE!!! They've even call asking me to refinance through them because I qualify for a lower interest rate. My current rate is 5.5% and definitely will research who I refinance with soon and it won't be them.

We needed to have them endorse an insurance check that they insisted on being on the pay to order of - when I explained that we received the check the day before a closing to sell the home. They told me to overnight the check with an overnight return envelop (apparently, they can't over express mail) so they could endorse the check, return it to us and we could pay our extremely patient vendor. There is bad customer service out there, then there is terrible customer service, then we reach another level, that level is where Nationstar Mortgage resides. My parents were UNFORTUNATE enough to have Nationstar purchase their existing mortgage (as always, totally out of the control of the loan holder, which is ridiculous but that is another conversation) from Wells Fargo. My Dad was diagnosed with cancer several years ago, and after a long battle, he passed away. During the illness, Nationstar purchased their mortgage, which was overshadowed by the obvious medical conditions, and more or less things continued on until my Dad passed 3 years ago.
After some time, my Mom wanted to explore some options, such as a refinance, reverse mortgage, selling the home outright, etc. No matter what she asked for, Nationstar treated her terribly. They refused to even acknowledge my Dads death, even after my mother sent them a certified copy of his death certificate. No matter what action my mom attempted to take, Nationstar refused to cooperate, and beyond that, they were JERKS on top of it, treating a woman who recently lost her husband and was facing the possibility of loosing her home of 45 years with borderline hostile behavior and mocking comments. Also keep in mind that every other legal entity (the County she lived in, Title Co. etc. ) legally removed my Dad from all paperwork, the only hold out was Nationstar, refusing to accept the fact that my Dad had passed. So mom accepted that for the time being, she was STUCK with them and their high interest rates (which I am sure they were enjoying collecting and played a part in not wanting Mom to refinance).
Fast forward to the last couple of months, Mom has her home/ranch up for sale, found a buyer, arranged everything, the day before escrow closes, the title Co.contacts Nationstar for a payoff, they refuse! The Title Co. attorney, who is a family friend spent no less than 2 1/2 hours on the phone fighting with these TOOLS and finally, came to some sort of arrangement where they finally admitted that my Dad had passed, and agreed to provide the payoff amount (around $165k)! Keep in mind, WE WERE ONLY TRYING TO PAY OFF A LOAN! Literally wanted to give them a check for over 150K and they are trying to prevent it.
After reading the many many terrible reviews for these 'people', I am not at all surprised, so many have been forced into business with these unscrupulous individuals simply by having their loans purchased without consent. Such action should be ILLEGAL! My parents did NOT choose this company, and we should all have control over who holds our debts, as long as accounts are kept current, which my Mom's always were. In closing, to any piece of human excrement that works at Nationstar and happens to read this, we won in the end, you lost, I am SO sorry for all of you still dealing with these HORRIBLE PEOPLE.

We went bankrupt in January 2012. Trustee sales cancelled twice. We have a house with three units and we lived in one. Due to health problems and being on disability, we moved to Arizona. One of the tenants cared for the house. Then he moved out last summer. We had squatters take over the house after we turned the utilities off. The power and water companies let them put the utilities in their name. Squatters have more rights than owners of property in Washington state!! We were told we could not turn off utilities, couldn't change locks etc. Police called us about a month ago after getting repeated calls to property regarding fights, drugs etc. They looked up who owned this property and got our phone number. Found out there were 8-10 people living in our house!!
During all this time we kept Nationstar informed as to what was going on. They told us they could not foreclose with people in there. Well, we told them they are not renters but squatters. Excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't foreclose - and offering us loan modification possibilities. Every time we called it was something different. They wanted to know if we would do deed in lieu--we agreed, then they write us a letter we are not eligible because we are not living there.
Today, we called to tell them we got all the squatters out and put no trespassing signs up. They offered deed in lieu again. Now they are saying they offer $13000 cash for keys when we were told before that they are not in that program. This last thing takes the cake - they asked us if the property was clean??? Told them it was trashed from the squatters and we don't live there, we are in Arizona. They said we could be charged cleaning fees. I have never heard of a mortgage company asking you to clean the property, asking you to evict squatters? We had another house go into foreclosure and they came and secured the property and cleaned it up. Sold it at auction almost two years ago. I don't think they really want these properties or they have so many. We just want our name off the deed.

My mortgage was sold to Nationstar (NS) a few years ago. Everything was relatively OK until last summer, when I lost my job. I fell behind on my mortgage payments and in November 2013, contacted NS to make repayment arrangements. The new payment was $300 higher than my old payment, and I was told that 6 months at the increased payment amount would take care of the past due amount. Last week (May 2014), I received a letter that I was >$3,000 past due and NS would start foreclosure proceedings if the full amount was not paid by 6/24.
I contacted NS on 5/27. The first rep I spoke to told me that the person who set up the repayment plan did not take into account a $25 increase in escrow. I did the math for the rep and showed her that $25 x 6 = $150, not $3,000. She then said that my escrow had increased by about $200. I again explained the math - $200 x 6 = $1,200, not $3,000. She just said "oh well" and told me she could put me on another payment plan. THIS one would increase my payment from $1,400 to $1,700. I told her there was no way I could afford that, and I asked to be transferred to the escrow department. They informed me that NONE OF THE PAYMENTS I had made since December 2013 were applied to the account. There was a total of $6,900 in suspended funds, but my account was past due and getting ready to go into foreclosure.
The escrow rep acknowledged that I paid the correct amounts and could not explain why my payments were not applied. She asked if she could put me on hold while she got someone from Customer Service on the line. I was on hold for about 5 minutes. Then an automated voice came on the line telling me my request could not be filled at that time and to call back. Then the line went dead. I am in the process of filing for bankruptcy, but I am terrified that I am going to lose my home in the meantime because of this company. I spent almost an hour reading nothing but horrible reviews about NS on this site. While I am not happy that anyone is having these troubles, I am glad I am not alone. As we had our buyer for the home walk away from escrow all of the sudden (Nationstar should have records of a payoff request from Southwest Escrow about that time) I was caught off guard and had to make a mortgage payment towards the end of March. I was driving and received a call from Nationstar asking for the mortgage payment. I have paid several times like that before and they have my payment information (banking info). The reps usually ask, “Please give me your call back number in case we get disconnected so I can call you back.” This guy did not for whatever reason. He asked if I would pay the past due late fees, I said no. He asked if I would pay the $1506 I think using my Wells Fargo checking account that they have on file. I agreed. He asked if I am giving my authorization to process the payment. I said yes.
Then I am assuming he put me on hold so he could process the payment and give me the confirmation number. During that process he disconnected the line and I was under the impression that we were done since I DID CLEARLY AUTHORIZE PAYMENT ALREADY IN THE EXACT AMOUNT AND PAYMENT METHOD. I then received a call again from another Nationstar representative on April 1st. I was very shocked and upset that the payment on March 24th did not go through even though I clearly gave permission to process and confirmed the checking account to take the money out of. I explained the problem and also said that I was in the middle of two real estate transactions and cannot have a negative reporting to credit. I escalated this issue to a manager who listened to me at length and promised to listen to the tapes and make sure that nothing negative would be reported if in fact events transpired how I had stated. He promised to call me back later that day.
Then my mortgage broker called me on May 13th and told me that I could not qualify for a loan as my credit score has dropped over 60 points since 2 months ago solely due to that 30 day late that Nationstar fraudulently reported. The fact of the matter is that I did pay on time but they failed to take the money. At no fault of my own they reported me as 30 days late. This is now leaving me homeless and unable to buy another house. I just sold the home in question and was planning to buy again right away. I will now have to rent which I am considering taking legal actions to recoup as it is more expensive to find an apartment that will allow a pit bull last minute. That is clearly my damages due to Nationstars gross negligence. I called right away on May 13th and complained again (3rd time reliving this event). I escalated this to a manager again and he listened to the taped phone calls and read all the notes. Then he said that he would escalate this to the proper department and I would have an answer in 5-7 business days.
Today is the 22nd of May (7 business days after this phone call). I have not been contacted as he said by that department. I asked if there was any further escalation I could make use of and he said no. That was as high as I could go. I asked if I could speak to any other person higher up who could help me as I had no faith whatsoever that they would resolve my issue as they had failed 3 times prior to do so when they specifically stated that they would have an answer for me by a certain date and time and would call me and they never did. SO now I have exhausted every possible recourse I have with Nationstar Mortgage. I am now left with the only logical next step being to seek legal action to have the negative report removed as it is clearly fraudulent and to seek to recoup my damages.
So to summarize
- March 24th Nationstar called and took my payment (never processed but I authorized and they disconnected the line not my fault and transaction was complete)- April 1st Nationstar called me and I paid (again) and then complained and spoke to a manager who promised to resolve the issue and call me back, never did, 2nd time Nationstar lied blatantly)
- May 13th I called Nationstar and spent over 1 hour explaining to a rep and manager at length my experience on the prior two occasions Manager said he would file a report with another division of Nationstar who takes care of issues like this and promised I would receive a phone call and written correspondence with a result of their investigation into my complaints with a resolution within 5-7 business days. That never happened Nationstar lied to me yet again (3rd time).
The only thing that will be satisfactory at this point is written explanation on Nationstar official letterhead that they clearly made several mistakes resulting in a 30 day late report to credit bureaus. That letter MUST also contain a promise that they have already sent a letter to Equifax, Experian and Trans Union asking them to remove the fraudulent reporting from them on my profile. I MUST receive this letter before May 30th 2014. Any later is completely unsatisfactory and will not stop legal action.

Nationstar took over my mortgage from Bank of America (which took it over from Countrywide). That means that I have to let them sit on an additional $2400 of my hard-earned cash until this note is paid off. This wasn't a pleasant surprise, and the agent who I spoke to had very little clue as to what was going on. Calling them is a waste of time.

We were very pleased with Countrywide holding our mortgage then it was sold to BofA whom I really didn't like but they did have solid customer service. After 8 years of on-time payments and excellent credit history our mortgage was sold to Nationstar. At first we were not even informed of how to make a payment or who it was to be sent to.
Since we had an ARM at 3% I was getting a little nervous about interest rates. We refinanced to a 5.3% fixed rate which bumped out payments $400 p/m then a couple of months into the new loan we've been informed that escrow needs to have a minimum balance of roughly $3200. So if they pay the home insurance and taxes at the same time they will not have $3200 in the account. To contend with this we needed to pay $400 more per month into escrow. We had around $2900 in escrow from the refinance and it's been plenty for the last 8 years. This company is terrible.

I made 2 online payments on May 15th, 2014 (one for May and one June), and requested the payments to be posted on my account on May 16th. Today, I noticed my online Transaction History showing they charged me $9.95 transaction fee for May and also another $9.95 for June payment. I called Nationstar and a customer representative told me Nationstar cannot refund or credit, or do anything to fix the $9.95. I was wrongly charged for the month of June because I made payment online and the "system" being set to charge $9.95 to any payment being made on the 16th, regardless of the month and Nationstar cannot do anything about it.
So I asked her then I just have been charged for making my mortgage payment 15 days prior to the due date? All she said is "I understand ma'am but we cannot do anything about it because the system has been setup like that!". I wonder how many victim out there have been trapped into this situation like this? How can a major mortgage firm like Nationstar cannot fix their "system" but point their fingers at the "system" that either being built or operated per their contract and agreements?

I am also a BofA mortgage holder that was sold to this company with no say. After paying "on-time" with Nationwide for over a year I requested they delete the PMI (mortgage insurance) since I was well past the standard 20% equity ownership. I spoke several times with a Nationstar Mortgage Insurance "specialists" to explain my case noting that I was well past the magical 20% equity level and the mortgage insurance payment should fall off automatically (my mortgage contract states that it does). I was adamant about no appraisal because I knew the housing market had tanked and it would not be favorable for deletion.
Their position was that an appraisal was still required even after I had them read my contract out loud that states automatic deletion requirements. I explicitly said during conversations that I DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR AN APPRAISAL (knowing the market deficit I would be instantly declined) AND IF I WAS LIABLE FOR THE COST, TO NOT SUBMIT THE APPRAISAL REQUEST. Nationstar assured me verbally that I would not have to pay. Even the appraiser that came to my home assured me that I would not have to pay for the service. I made sure to stress that point before letting him into my home.
Of course the appraisal came in low, the mortgage insurance was not deleted and I decided to refinance with a different lender. After my refinance closing was completed I noticed there was a $500 charge for the appraisal. It buried in the payoff statement. I called Nationstar and demanded the charge be reversed, recited previous conversations to my best recollection but got nowhere. I even asked if they recorded and saved all phone conversations, which they did acknowledge was true, but told me it was my responsibility to prove it. I am still trying to find a way, but they hold all of the cards.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company at all costs. They lie, they steal, and then challenge you to prove they did not. I know it is only $500 but it is how they operate in general that is concerning. I have other minor complaints of constant harassing advertising phone calls, etc. but this was the last straw. Consider yourself warned.

The exact same thing as everyone else at this site is complaining about is happening to us. We have been excellent paying customers for years to NS but as of July of 2013, we have been going through a nightmare trying to get them to fix the negative credit reporting for July and August of 2013 due to what they call late payments.
We sent them copies of bank statements to prove the payments were not sent late and that they cashed them. They said the payments were late because extra money was due for escrow for future estimated taxes and insurance. Something we were not notified of or received a phone call over. So on August 10th 2013, we just sent $105.46 which was the amount they said was due extra to cover it. But we before we sent the amount, one of their reps assured us that no negative credit reporting would be made to any credit bureaus.
Lo and behold, we checked a month later and it shows 2 months behind. We have been trying ever since that time until now to get this resolved but to no avail. We received a letter from their resolution department stating there is nothing they can do even though we were promised this would not happen. To ruin someone's credit after years of building it and paying mortgage payments on time is unheard of and terrible business practices. When i call, all i get is a runaround. One rep promised to get one month's negative credit reporting reversed but still nothing is concrete. This cannot be verified nor can I get a copy of the letter.
I have left several messages for Jay Bray, present C.E.O. and Harold Lewis - President of Nationstar Mortgage. All to no avail. They will not even return my call. Something has to be done to stop them. We have to unite in some way, maybe a class action suit or something. Any suggestions?

BOA sold my loans to Nationstar in July 2013. I received a welcome letter stating that my mortgages were going to be service by them and that all would remain the same. What a joke! From the start they said I was behind, they also started charging processing fee of $9.99, tile fee of $49.00 to $172.00, inspection fees of $95.00. Every statement it's a different fee, and so on and so forth. I was able to get answers with one mortgage of one property once the attorney general from the state of FLORIDA got involved. I sent the payment agreed in February 2014, the last I saw on line. The payment was not applied and according to them the monies were in limbo, and now I can't access my account on line or get any answers, after sending close to $4000.00. Nationstar also miraculously found to misapplied payments. They take you money, apply the payment as they are suppose to, then in less than 24 hours the payment is reversed and applied however they feel . This is the horror of one account apart from them being so unprofessional, they treat you like you're stupid. I've been yelled at, phone hung up, threatened with foreclosure, told to refinance, or deed in lieu were my options. Then the nightmare continues.
When I started to work on the other from the other property that I only owe $12,500.00, according to them I am 5 months behind and they refuse to answer questions or allow me to make any type of payment, since Jan 2014. The last time I was able to make a payment on line was in Dec,2013. When I tried to make a payment over the phone, I was told it was in the hands of the attorney. When I asked for the attorney's name and number, I was told they weren't sure. From insisting with many phone calls, first I was giving the wrong number a number that was disconnected. Then an attorney that didn't know what I was talking about. Either Nationstar tells me they just sent papers to attorney or the attorney tells me they haven't been able to review file.
Long story short, no one knows what I owe and if I am behind, and what the fees are?? go figure. I need help, I have seen their reputation. I have family members and friends that are encountering the same problems and I can't for the life of me understand how they are getting away with this. This totally illegal. They are debt collector and bullies, I need to know how I can proceed because I refuse to lose my properties, that with my sweat I bought and paid for. Our mortgage was sold from BOA to Nationstar. And one of the first things I did was look up the reviews. Someone else had given this advice and although it is somewhat of a pain every month, it's a good way to prove you made your payment on time. We send it's return receipt every month, take a pic of the check, a pic of the envelope and a pic of the receipt. Plus save what the post office gives us. That way we have proof they received the payment on time. What they do with it after they get it, I could care less if they hold it for a year, credit my account or stick it. You know where. Now it's only been 7 months that they have had my mortgage, so maybe they just haven't gotten to screwing us over yet. But I say it's worth a try for those of you having trouble with them saying they didn't receiving it on time. Now my escrow is another story, but I'm just not looking into it, so I'm not sure if they are wrong about it. But I will post back about it if it is them.

They asked about my cash reserve. It was more than a sufficient. They then conducted a credit inquiry that cost me $17. My scores were good. The rate was then locked in. The next step was to wait for the appraiser to call. In the meantime, they asked for rental agreements, declaration page for insurance, 2012 W2, mortgage statements, property tax bills, etc. I never got a call from an appraiser, so I emailed NS not once, but three times. Beginning in January 2014, NS determined that I owed back taxes in an amount that was not correct. Along with my regular payment, they were adding in an additional payment of $865.28. This was to cover escrow, shortage spread and deficiency spread. What all these mean, who knows? Upon reviewing the annual escrow account disclosure statement that I was sent in October of 2013 and have never received another one, though requested for months now - I discovered that I was being charged for taxes already paid. After months of phone calls, with me telling them that they had made a mistake, NS finally determined that I indeed was correct. A refund was sent to NS by the county in which I live, to reimburse them for the monies that had been paid. I in turn had already paid one of the additional $865.28 towards my January 2014 payment while waiting for this mess to be settled.
After many more phone calls and emails, I finally received a response advising me that I only owed an additional $221.50 a month plus my regular mortgage payment. In the meantime, while they were trying to figure this out, they would take my monthly mortgage payment, deduct the $865.28 that they were still showing I owed to them for escrow and putting my remaining monies into the mysterious "suspense" account! Hence, NS was and still is showing me a month behind on my mortgage - which I'm not! I recite off to them the dates of every payment made to them, not one month missing. I asked that they go back to January, when THEY started making the mistake by charging the wrong amount for escrow and correct what my payment plus the $221.50 would be. If they do this and remove MY money from their "suspense" account, I would actually be ahead by about $57.00. Guess what? I was told that NS could not do this! They could not go back and change my payments. Really?
NS can mess up my monthly payment, but they can't retro what my payment should have really been?? Never heard of this. And when I asked that they remove the monies from my suspense account and apply it to my mortgage, they said that they could only do this IF I made on the spot arrangements to pay the difference? And amazingly the difference is that $865.28! The wrong escrow amount! Can't they see the difference and the fact that they just need to remove that amount? And isn't it a bit like black mail saying that if I paid monies to NS - that are not technically owed - then they would release my money from their notorious "suspense" account? Never in my 27 years of living in my home and dealing with other mortgage companies have I ever ran across such a horrible and shoddy business.

I received a letter from Nationstar dated 4/15/14 stating that my mortgage payment was in "suspense" for insufficient funds. I have never been late on my mortgage and in fact, pay more each month towards principal. I called NS and spoke with customer service who told me that I had a shortage on my escrow account and that I needed to pay the shortage before I could speak with the Escrow Department. I explained to the young lady that I have my Escrow payments from 2013 and that nothing should increase because my taxes are frozen, my PMI is a fixed rate monthly and the only thing that could fluctuate is my homeowners insurance. Additionally, my homeowners insurance is due May, and that has been paid, so there should be no increase in my escrow.
After several attempts by customer service rep to get me to pay the shortage before my escrow can be re-analyzed, I told the young lady that I wasn't going to pay until they could show me where my escrow increased. After being adamant, I was finally transferred to the escrow department. This new representative went to tell me how my property tax increased to $600 dollars and my PMI increased $500 for the year 2014. I asked where did they get these new projections and was told that my county gave them the new projected tax rates and no answer regarding the increase in PMI. I told the young lady that there is no way that my property taxes could go up $600 since we have a tax freeze in the county I live in and that my PMI is related to the amount of loan and that doesn't change for the life of the loan.
She then put me on hold for 15 minutes and said that she would need to pull my HUD1 letter. I told her that she could pull whatever because I know how to calculate my taxes, PMI and homeowners insurance and more importantly the end of the year statement that I never received from NS showed me everything that was expensed out of escrow for 2013 totaling a little of $5,000. For which I pay $6000 annually in escrow. Giving me a cushion of almost $1,000. Therefore, no need for a $100 increase in my mortgage. After not backing down, the customer service finally came back to the phone and said, "I'm sorry you are right. We made a mistake, there is no increase in escrow; however, please call back in 7 business days and have your escrow re-analyzed."
The problem with this is that I am showing as being late, because NS did not credit my mortgage payment for April despite me paying on time. I'm sure this will show up on my credit report as negative as they have done this to countless other people. I have had issues with this company since BOA sold the mortgage to NS. I get repeated phone calls that says I am late with my payment despite never being late. I don't mind reporting Nationstar to BBB or whomever. Their practices must be stopped.

I emailed and requested them to send me a paper with detail of whom I'm going to pay the $2040 so I can make a check to the order of the company. They emailed me back that they can not produce a commitment letter of approval at this time until the first 3 payments are made and they are not accepting a personal check. The payment must be electronic.
When ready to pay they will give a special code to wire the money to. Then I called the main number for the company policy but she (Jackie) never gave me a straight answer. She said that the way Nationstar do things verbally until the first 3 payments are made. My question is this - where do the money goes to? What would happen when the $6120 is paid? Would then the Nationstar approve the Modification? What if they said they have no knowledge of that $6120 being received and denied the loan? This is where I'm stucked right now. My husband contacted Nationstar Mortgage on March 12, 2014 to inquire if Nationstar had the option of deferring our March payment and then tacking this one month back on to the principal of the loan (we had heard that other mortgage companies offered this option). My husband was advised that this was not an option, but that Nationstar could divide our March payment in half and then this amount could be included with our regularly scheduled April and May payments. My husband agreed due to the fact that the Nationstar representative presented this as an option and never once stated that this would adversely impact our credit.
We upheld our end of the agreement and have now paid NationStar Mortgage April's mortgage payment plus the first half of the March payment and also now the full May payment plus the second half of the March payment. We just found that Nationstar Mortgage has reported to the credit bureaus that we were 30 days late on our mortgage payment. If we had been advised that this would adversely impact our credit, we would have never entered into this agreement. My spouse is now back to work. Nationstar's response to our complaint is that regardless of how their representative handled our original inquiry that that they are within their rights to report our account as late according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and will not retract the late payment submitted to the bureaus!

After 3 months Nationstar applied an escrow to one of the loans without consulting with me and without my permission and proceeded to withdraw more than the approved amount from my checking account set up for auto-pay. A refund would be sent in 2 weeks.
After 4 weeks and no refund, I called and learned they sent the refund to the property [rental] and not my mailing address on file. I am still waiting for a refund. While investigating and confirming I had no escrow, they stopped my auto-pay, most likely as they had increased the withdrawal. This created a no payment in April on that mortgage and a call from Nationstar collections department that I missed a payment and now have a late fee. In regards to Nationstar, I have been having great trouble with them. It begins like this:
I have had a mortgage for eleven years. I first started with First Century bank for five years, and then went to First Horizon, a division of First Tennessee Bank, who sold my mortgage to Nationstar. There has never been any problems with my mortgage until Nationstar took over. I have never had an escrow account to cover the taxes and insurance, as I have always paid my own taxes and insurance. Nationstar first states that my insurance lapsed in November of 2012, of which they proceeded to get their own policy to cover this for over $2,000.00 per year and also set up an escrow account. Without my permission or knowledge. I never did pay this, and never will as my insurance has not ever lapsed. My insurance agent has faxed proof of insurance well before the due date but to no avail. Nationstar claims they never received the fax, but my agent has proof that they did in fact receive the fax.
I have consulted a lawyer, who wrote two letters, and it took Nationstar three months to get back to him, and they never mentioned a thing to my lawyer. Now Nationstar claims that I have filed bankruptcy, which I have not, according to my lawyer. The lawyer feels that Nationstar has no clue as to what they are doing. As you can see in my credit report I am not late on any of my creditors, yet, because of Nationstar, my creditors have lowered my limits and raised my interest rates.
This past year, I paid my insurance, not due till November, as it was paid in October. I paid on my Discover card so that I would have proof it was paid. In November, Nationstar paid my insurance on their own. I know the insurance company notified them it was paid in October. The insurance company in December sent me a check for the full amount of the insurance, stating the Nationstar paid it in November. I called them and informed them that I was not cashing their check to leave my payment active, and send theirs back. Obviously they did this. In January, I got a letter stating they never received my insurance again, that it had lapsed. I called the insurance company and they showed it did not lapse, that it was good until November 2014. The insurance company faxed proof of insurance to Nationstar. At this time I have not received anything from Nationstar yet. The whole idea of Nationstar is to put THEIR insurance in effect at an outrageous price. THIS IS FRAUD, no matter how you look at it.
I am sending this letter to all three credit bureaus, and would appreciate you look at my credit and see that I am not behind on ANY creditors except for Nationstar. I have made every payment, and I have NOT been late, they keep adding THEIR escrow to it and I am not paying it. I have got every cancelled check as proof. From what I can understand, after talking to them, sometime way back when, they took my payment, and paid on their made up escrow account and showed my payment being late. In closing, I have sent my payments every month on time, and what they did with it is beyond my control. Through much investigation, I have found that there are over a thousand complaints, and several class action suits against Nationstar.

Bank of America sold my mortgage to NationStar Mortgage company in Nov.2012. When NationStar took over they attempted to increase my mortgage payments by almost $500.00 per month indicating that additional money needed to be escrowed for taxes. I contacted NationStar and an escrow analysis was done in Dec. 2012. The results of the escrow analysis confirmed that I did not need additional escrows for taxes and my payments were lowered from $1858.30 to $1822.98. In April 2013 NationStar decided to do an additional escrow analysis. I was not notified nor did I receive a monthly mortgage statement. My mortgage payment was increased AGAIN, this time to $2157.66.
I contacted NationStar and was informed that I had a misc city tax of $4899 that needed to be escrowed. I attempted to explain to the representative that my entire tax bill for the year did not equal the $4899. I was given no assistance. My payment of $1822.98 for June 2013 was refused because they will not accept anything less than the new payment they are demanding which is $2157.66 (an increase of $334.68 per month). I cannot afford a payment increase of $334.68 per month. I explained to them that the property has a tax abatement until 2020, and that the amount of the tax credit is $1726, so even if they had to escrow that amount my payments should not increase $334.68 per month.
On Friday June 28, 2013, I visited the City of Newark tax collection office. Again, I spoke with supervisor. She also contacted NationStar to explain the tax abatement, the amount of the land tax credit, how the credit is processed, and the amount that they should actually be escrowing monthly to cover my taxes. Ms. ** also provided this information in written detail via fax in a signed letter. Ms. ** also provided NationStar a detailed description of my 2012 property tax and the estimate of my 2013 property taxes, which decreased for 2013 due to a decreased land assessment valuation.
Since my visit to the tax collector I have been in contact with Julie Ericcson, vice president of customer service with NationStar, who indicated that even though NationStar cannot provide justification for the $334.68 monthly increase in my escrow and mortgage payment, NationStar was not going to adjust my payment to collect the proper amount of escrow. No one at NationStar Mortgage can explain how they calculated the new payment amount, nor is anyone willing to look at the information as provided by the tax collector's office to determine the accurate amount that should be escrowed. They are refusing proper payment, ruining my credit, and putting me on the road to foreclosure. I have not gotten any help or any one reasonable at NationStar. I feel bullied and unfairly billed by NationStar.
In the eight years that I had this mortgage prior to NationStar, I NEVER had this issue with the four other banks/mortgage companies who serviced my loan prior to NationStar. After I file a complaint with CFPB, NationStar's response did not address ANY of my concerns. Their response claimed to have spoken with the City of Newark, NJ Tax Collection Department and had spoken with Tracy ** to verify the amount of taxes being used for the inflated calculations and further justifying the increase in my mortgage payment from $1822.98 to $2157.66. They did not provide any documentation to support that conversation or their figures.
I have dealt with the City of Newark, NJ Tax Collection department several times since my loan was transferred to Nationstar because they are constantly conducting "escrow analysis" and attempting to DEMAND additional escrows. Each time I speak with or visit the tax collection office, I am provided with written documentation and confirmation either in hand or via fax. This information was provided to Nationstar Mortgage by the City of Newark, NJ Tax Collection office on 06-29-2013 via fax in an attempt to resolve this issue. Nationstar ignored the information provided because it did not support their demand for additional monies. Nationstar used City tax AND a Miscellaneous tax to justify the increase in payment.
I do not have a miscellaneous tax. My total tax bill is what they are considering a miscellaneous tax. There will not be a shortage in the amount of escrow collected. I realize that RESPA article ten does require the collection of reserves and I am not disputing that. It was Bank of America's policy to remove the reserve requirement from the monthly payment if requested by the homeowner as long as it was understood that any shortages would be due at the end of the year. I do not agree with the fact that Nationstar does not honor that same policy.
My loan was transferred to Nationstar by no choice of mine. I should not have to deal with a new set of policies and rules because Bank of America sold my loan. The terms, policies, and conditions of my loan should remain the same particularly because I was not given an option when my loan was placed with Nationstar. Since my loan was transferred to Nationstar they have attempted to go up on my payment TWICE in 8 months based on their policy versus the way Bank of America has serviced my loan for the last 6 years. This is ridiculous. I should not have to put so much time and energy to get them to only collect the correct amount of escrows. I don't want to have to go through this HORRIBLE experience every 3 or 4 months.
Nationstar has proven to have policies that are unfair and stressful to homeowners. Nationstar was so busy trying to demand additional monies from me that they failed to pay the administrative fee billed by the City of Newark Tax Department on 11-01-2012. I had to rush down to the tax collector and pay $117.79 to avoid having a lien placed on the property by the city. Nationstar responded to my complaint justifying their bogus increase in my payment on July 24th, but I have documentation that they attempted to bill me a new amount of $1989.79 on July 18th. How can that be when they responded indicating that their calculations that resulted in a new payment of $2157.66 was correct. The reason is because they did not take my complaint seriously and Christina ** did not verify any information. She just typed a response because she had to respond. No research was actually done.
Further I have documentation that on or around July 26th, Nationstar finally decided actually look at the information provided and my ACTUAL tax amount. Once that was done (two months after I asked for Nationstar to address the issue), my actual payment is now $1892.44. Unfortunately for me, Nationstar is now taking great pleasure in ruining my credit. They are reporting me 30 and 60 days late to the credit bureaus because they attempted to extort unwarranted escrows from me and when it didn't work, it took them over 2 months to correct it. I am being punish because they billed me incorrectly then refused to accept any payment other than the bogus amount they attempted to extort from me. Additionally my concerns regarding my payment history and correction of NationStar's negative reporting to the credit bureaus was blown off by Ms. ** in her response on behalf of Nationstar. Ms. ** indicated that I was billed $2157.66 on June 1st and since the payment was not made, they are justified in ruining my credit with the credit bureaus.
I contend that, I attempted to pay Nationstar the amount of my previous payment ($1822.98) but my payment was refused on several occasions. Various customer service and collections representatives from Nationstar informed me that they do not accept partial payments. I was willing to pay the previous amount while the calculation of my escrows was in dispute. Nationstar should correct my payment history and the negative reporting to the credit bureaus because they were incorrect in their calculations and therefore the amount the billed/demand was INCORRECT. It was Nationstar who chose to ignore the information provided by the City of Newark, NJ Tax Collection office for over 2 months. It was Nationstar who refused to accept any payment other than the incorrect amount they had demanded.
I have ALWAYS and still stand my contention that I will pay all payments due from Jun 1, 2013 through current IN FULL as soon as this dispute has been resolved ENTIRELY, which I did as soon as my payment and escrows are calculated correctly. Nationstar is shady, company with dishonest practices designed to bully, extort, and terrorize homeowners filled with lazy, bumbling idiots who don't look at information that is right in front of them. They just print dumb form letters that were developed on the premise that Nationstar is ALWAYS correct and they will lie, cheat, and steal to make it look that way.

Countrywide sold me to BOA - I thought that was horrid until BOA sold me to Nationstar. Nationstar refuses to acknowledge my prompt, in full, with additional principal, documented payments and now have me in their debt collections, soon my excellent credit may be ruined. The OCC would not help. A lawyer charged me $75 for a phone call only to tell me "send them documentation." I did this through my banker on two separate occasions who has record of all the cancelled checks - all of which were cashed before the 1st when they are due. Nationstar's response was nada-nothing-zilch! My statements come within 3-4 days of their DUE date: some before, some after, all too late to use. So I have to make my own payment slips (copies of the original one) even though their representative Nassir promised this would be corrected months ago and it is a law to provide timely statements. I pay for certified delivery on my payments and write them almost every month on every payment so they know this.
'Red' has refused to fax me the final payoff amount as I have a ready and willing buyer, and now they are blocking the sale of my house. Their employees- Nassir, Ann and Red have only, of course given me first names, no ID number or way to validate who they are or how to talk to them again. BBB site has many, many complaints about them. There is a Facebook page dedicated to their nasty tactics. I am also filing with Consumer Affairs and I am now awaiting my State Atty. General and State Dept. of Commerce and their responses. New York State's top financial regulator has demanded N.S.'s records due to the large amount of complaints from residents there. Let's see if Nassir, Ann and Red ignore them too!
To the Consumer Affairs folks, I would love a lawyer to help me but not one I have to pay, so I will leave the box below unchecked because your site is unclear about the terms of one of your lawyers contacting me about my complaint. If there is no fee to me then please yes, have one contact me soon! Thank you. And please no solicitation!!!

My mortgage was sold to Nationstar by BAC. I was notified of same 10/10/13 and advised to expect materials from them and make the November payment to them to begin the transfer. I have NEVER missed or been late for a payment. Been with BAC since 1998. IMMEDIATELY, it became total hell. Repeated calls claiming I had missed a payment. As I had applied for an adjustment in the mortgage interest with BAC and Oct. was the final adjusted payment, I had to start all over again with them. In Jan. '14, I was told that would take place and begin in Feb. BUT my Feb. statement said my payment was going UP FROM $278 TO $328. REPEATED CALLS with easy logical questions received the response, "I don't know - I'll have to look into that".
It has now been a disgusting, stressful unresolved nightmare. I have NEVER dealt with such an intelligence deficient, group of individuals and as a manager of more than one large service company's customer service AND more, I have no question that the problems are with the leadership!! I will continue despite the difficulties it brings to me personally to get this mess corrected. I have a feeling there is little hope but I am NOT going to struggle in vain. Perhaps, what appears to be a large group of individuals of like circumstances, we should consider a class action suit!! I'm not kidding.

My wife and I attempted to make a short sale purchase through Realty One Group of Las Vegas who listed a property that is held by Nationstar. The original list price was $115K and that is what we offered. Once Nationstar got to review the proposed offer, their appraiser raised the price 2 months later to $120K. We immediately approved the price increase and waited for the signed contract... It never came. Instead, we found out that a new negotiator was assigned to the home and after waiting for another two months (a total of 6 months), they again raised the price to $130,000.
I don't believe they ever had any intentions of selling at anything less than $145K and was using what I call a bait and switch sales tactic. They bait you into looking and making an offer, taking your earnest money deposit and then when you really get interested, they switch the price! Bad business practice and although it may be legal to do, I think it is deceitful. We have now asked to cancel the sale and have the EMD refunded, but the seller's broker nor the buyer’s rep have heard from them. It has been two weeks and we have not gotten a response from the bank to get our refund. BUYER BEWARE!!

Our original home loan was sold to Flag Star by Bank of Am, then Flag Star changed their business name to Nationstar and ever since then the company has taken a huge nose dive. The automated system is there simply to drive you insane and send you in circles. You have to repeatedly enter in the same information again and again only to then repeat the information when you are finally able to get someone on the line. We actually just refinanced our home with Nationstar and am now thinking that was a huge mistake. I think we should have just shopped it around and gone with someone else.
I have spent over 40 minutes trying to get ONE person to tell me if our Life Insurance carried over or if we needed to reapply so that our loan could be covered should something happen. I am now waiting to speak with the 7th person, hopefully this person can help, but currently I have no faith that they will. This is my second attempt to call today, and was hung up on by a 'Charlie' in customer service who suddenly couldn't hear me after I asked to speak with a Manager. Definitely going to get in contact with a Broker ASAP to ask when I can start looking for another provider.

Even though I have contacted them 8 time and furnished them another flood certificate from FEMA they are still charging my escrow account over $1,800.00 for past FLOOD INSURANCE. I have never experience the problems with any other mortgage company as I have with Nationstar. I have a debt on me at the bank I changed from because Nationstar makes it hard for you to transition from one bank to another. I was told to write a request stating that I changed banks. My question is: If I am on the phone with your customer service and I ask them to send me the proper form so I can send Nationstar the latest information from the new institute I changed to, why do I have to write a request? I feel that Nationstar have the forms. Why can't you just put one in the mail so I can send you my latest information from my new institute?

My mortgage was sold to Nationstar by Bank of America. I recently received my first annual Escrow Account statement from them. To my horror and surprise I was informed that my Escrow Account is short $918.31. Therefore my mortgage was being increased to compensate for this shortage. While my mortgage was with Bank of America when I received my annual escrow statement the shortage was normally always less than $325, which reflected the increase in the property taxes and insurance for the year. I was always offered the option of paying the amount of the shortage in full to avoid an increase in my mortgage payment and I always opted to pay the amount in full.
Now that my mortgage is with Nationstar not only have they increased the escrow payments to reflect the increase in property taxes and insurance but they stated expressly that federal law allows them to hold a cushion of “two times your monthly escrow payment”. This means that they get to hold $918.31 of my money as a cushion in the escrow account resulting in me having to pay them an additional $71.97 per month for 12 months to satisfy this cushion, further increasing my mortgage payments.
In all the years that I have had a mortgage on my home, none of the mortgage holders have ever expressly stated this law and neither have any of them ever held a cushion of two times my escrow payment in the escrow account. What is the purpose of the cushion? The homeowners insurance is paid once a year in full so that payment cannot be increased mid-year requiring an additional payment that justifies the cushion. Likewise, the property taxes are set once per year and divided in quarterly payment that are set at the time of the assessment and these payments are not normally adjusted midway through the year thereby requiring additional payments to be made.
Again, where is the justification for the cushion? While Nationstar is hold almost $1000 of my money in the escrow account, would I be paid interest at the same rate they are charging me on my mortgage? I am totally disgusted and appalled that Nationstar is allowed to do this. I would really like to know if this is allowed and if it is why after having a mortgage for over 14 years I am now being made aware of this Federal Law for the first time?

Nationstar assumed my original loan from Bank of America. They kept bugging me about refinancing at lower rates and I took them up on the offer. In speaking with the Nationstar representative I made it clear that I wasn't interested in them adding a bunch of junk fees and wanted an expedited process. First indication of junk fees came when they charged me $675 for a $375 property appraisal. Then, their loan underwriters kept asking for more and more documentation, some which had previously been sent. In the end, I refused to send additional material and they cancelled the loan application. This was the most dysfunctional company I have ever seen. The term "Customer Service" is not in their vocabulary.

If you are a consumer and are angry with Nationstar. Trying working there. IT’S AWFUL! Managements knows NOTHING. The employees know more than the uppers and then takes credit for what their team does for them but doesn't have the back of their employees. They also scam you on timecards. They have no resources for assistance in job production since management is inadequate. They laid off 200 people and is moving the offices out of Lewisville and into Irving. I live already an hour away.
This place demands you be a robot and slave but compensates you for nothing!!! The morale is so bad that everyone tries to get in and get out as fast as possible. Even when you take concerns to your management they are very unprofessional (even using bad language) and then puts the blame on the employees. I have seen it done to countless team members. I can only hope and pray this place gets shut down. But before it does I am getting as far away as possible. Being on welfare is better than working here.

We were small business owners and our company was embezzled by girl in accounting for approximately $500,000.00. There was no way by theft we could continue to operate. We closed the business and liquidated all. Because both my wife and I worked in our business, we lost our jobs. We were forced to file 3 bankruptcies - two corp and one personal. We knew we would have problems paying approx $3200.00 monthly. We applied for Hamp with Nationstar. I receive 3 to 4 times a letter that we were denied because I did not send documentation in time required when indeed we had. They would say just disregard.
I submitted a Hamp on both first and second; Citibank which was the second modified immediately. We then started making the 2nd mortgage payments. I can assure you I sent approximately 3 to 4 feet of paperwork to NationStar. Nationstar started foreclosure letters somewhere around September. I, being upset, called Nationstar to be told not to worry, that it will stop once modification goes thru. I believe that it was in December of 2012 I started on modification paperwork. We were in modification review so long that we had 5 different loan specialist.
Every time we got a new one, they would require the same paperwork refilled out and all new backup paperwork sent in. I know what the guidelines are after diligent research and each of the different loan specialist told me our income falls right in the pocket for HAMP modification. It was not unusual to have to fax to them 40 to 85 pages at a time. All of this time, I was receiving letters of foreclosure. Two days before Christmas, I get a call that we were denied. This is a year after applying.
My husband drives a truck and I am a freight broker. I requested facts of what they compiled of why we were denied. All I was given was 55. The number for qualification was 31. We have made $2800.00 to NationStar and the previous mortgage company since 2006. I requested back up because I do not believe the review officers knew how to do analysis on our income. So they pushed the foreclosure thru and we are packing. I was contacting them 3 times a week. Until the last month, I called or emailed them 5 days a week. I looked at what we have paid in to our Freddie-Fannie loan. The investors have a very good shot at receiving a healthy return in what is ordered foreclosure and sheriff's sale.
I truly believe they never intended to modify. So word to the wise - get legal involved and back up when they start foreclosure. I have yet to have been presented with the backup on how they disqualified us. I truly think that we went in and out of review 30 times. They would kick it back and say, "Well, we need this," or that when I submitted it so many times, I could recite it. By the way, had they modified as the 2nd did I would not be packing.

Back in October 2013, I no longer could make the mortgage payments which had also gone up after Nationstar took over from Bank of America. I then was told I should do the paperwork for the Short Sale option and so I began that. I was told everything I need to send in and so I did just that. Gathered everything they needed and more. They kept coming back saying "you need to send more info on your 3rd job." I sent every single commission amount, deposit proof, and monthly reports from the company. They still just kept saying they never got it or needed more. I would gather a bit more, basically same stuff and noted everything on it for them to read and see black and white!
They kept on 2 more times requesting stuff. I thought how can they need anything else. I finally was exhausted and just gave up. I couldn't take the stress and came to terms to just walk away. Then talking with someone, who wanted to purchase my house. He re-did all the paperwork with me 2 weeks ago and sent it in to do a short sale. Nationstar had now set up Sheriff's auction and is scheduled for May 7th. He had to call every day and would get no one to return his call and finally got routed to speak to someone 7 days later, and they said, "well we can't do that now because it is just less than 30 days to the auction."
He has been doing these for years and done them in 2 weeks. They can push the sale out one week, but won't. They are crooked and thieves. I have paid more in interest than what my house is even worth in 14 years! Something needs to change, because why are banks making 3, 4 or 5 times more off us than what our houses are even worth!? I will watch and follow up on this lawsuit and have all my paperwork as well, and proof that I tried to work with them, and they know how to give you the run around until it is too late.
