While looking for a loan online, which could be an equity or personal loan, I came across Lending Tree. Pretty much everyone I have spoken to is ready and willing to provide me with a loan, except for Lending Tree services. I am blown away that they are the only ones that won't even offer me any type of loan. I make well over 6 figures and have a good credit score. Good enough for every other lender I have spoken to! I don't get it, and they won't explain anything to me. I have so many other options that I wish I had never asked them to look at it. They are a waste of time.

I had a great experience refinancing my F150 with Gravity Lending. I refinanced my 2024 Ford F150 when I purchased it I took all the rebates, knowing I was going to refinance. My loan officer, was **. Thanks for all your help Ivan.

Unless you are prepared to be BOMBARDED by hundreds of phone calls do NOT give them your phone number!! It is absolutely outrageous! Then when you go to their website to “unsubscribe” and “opt out” it says it can take up to 10 days.

I don't understand how this company stay afloat because my dad went though this company to which they refuted him to this company that scammed him. He is now out of a apartment and is living in his car. Lending Tree are the ones who put him in touch with the company that had him drain his bank account. He had a whole 900 and now is at 0. He can't pay his rent and get his apartment.

There is nothing else I can say that hasn't already been said here other than this service results in over the top harassment. I have blocked more phone numbers in 2 weeks than I have in my entire life. Lending tree is the modern day equivalent of the Nigerian prince scam.

This company keeps calling me 5-6 daily from different numbers telling me about being pre-approved. They leave messages to call back. I call the number to ask about being removed from the list. I get told that I need to live with the calls and to not interact with them. They "eventually" will remove me. Then they hang up. Sometimes they are rude and cut me off, One lady I talked with last night said "BYE" 5 times and kept getting louder. This is harassment and not legal. Please remove me from your calling list. I do not want to have to call back and request to be taken off your mailing list. I will start to block #s.

I googled refinance my car, LendingTree was at the top of this list so I filled out the form. Following this I was immediately inundated with phone calls from re-finance companies. Dear Lending Tree, pissing off someone before they even become a customer is a business model doomed to fail. You need a 'do not call' option. I would have accepted emails, or maybe even texts, but endless phone calls? I had to block all the numbers eventually.

They are not a lender. The moment you click "See my rates," your phone and email are bombarded with calls, texts, and emails from numerous lenders, including legitimate ones and scammers. It's utterly infuriating, especially because I was foolish enough to use my business number. I texted "STOP" to the number indicated on their website and received the message "This service is not available." I absolutely despise this company just 10 minutes after learning about them. Don't waste your time; you will regret it immediately.

I was considering a home equity loan for a roof replacement loan. A quick search had Lending Tree at the top of the list. I remember seeing ads for it in the past, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Within seconds of hitting the submit button, my phone and email was immediately inundated with calls and messages FOR HOURS. I had to put my phone on silent and missed several important phone calls to mitigate the distractions. The only thing Lending Tree seems to have done for me is increased incoming spam. Do Not Recommend.

I literally just placed my information on Lending Tree's website thinking I could find a good HELOC rate. Instead, I received literally 50 calls from 50 different places and 10 minutes. Disgusting business practice!

I am literally getting nonstop calls that started at 6 am in the morning and haven't stopped. I thought it was an emergency call because really!!! 6AM!! And then every few minutes from there on out. I had to put my phone on Do not Disturb.

I was researching health insurances, left my phone and I have received 30+ calls from random numbers in a morning (waking me up and then during work hours). It is a scam (I thought they were legit) - PLEASE avoid.

I was referred to this company by Lending Tree. I received a call and a text from Wayne **. Stated he was the vice president, and he could get us a better loan or at least bring down our down payment, we already received a lien estimate from another lender, but the closing cost was too much, due to the fees.. Wayne put me on hold for a very long time and finally he disconnected the call, I didn’t receive a call back or a text. I had to call him, and he told me he couldn’t help us. I asked him why did he request all of our personal information when we already had a loan estimate, in which I canceled l, due to his deception. I called and requested Wayne to destroy everything especially our Social Security numbers. He told me he would not pull my credit, but he did, he was very unconcern and was talking over me when I called back. I contacted Lifelock to report my suspicions.. So please be aware of this person and the company.

Omar was amazing to work with! He kept me in the loop about everything that was going on with the loan to refi my car. Could not have been a smoother transaction!! I would recommend to friends and family anytime!

I filled out a mortgage inquiry on Lending Tree and received phone calls almost immediately from lenders about my inquiry. The process was easy and put me in contact with the right lender based on my information. Arjun ** from First Commonwealth mortgage was one of the first lenders to reach out to me. He listened to me and started working on my application immediately and was able to close my loan as promised! He was readily available and on top of my application every step of the way. He made the entire process stress-free and really worked hard to get me a great loan and a great rate! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a home loan!

Put my information in on their website to get an ONLINE quote… made the mistake of using my real number. NEVER AGAIN! My phone was hammered with calls in 5 minutes as soon as I hit submit. Obnoxious.

Beware! The second you hit "submit" to get the quotes, your phone will blow up and you will get hundreds of calls, non-stop. I am still blocking numbers and had to turn off my phone for days. It still has not stopped. I had to tell all my clients to text me and I will call them back since I can't turn my phone back on. I refuse to do business with any of the Lending Tree lenders due to their overly aggressive phone calling.

Checking loan rates aren't supposed to have any impact on your credit score. However the companies Lending Tree works with do hard inquiries. So you fill out an application with Lending Tree then get 3 - 6 different hard hits on your credit which lowers your score. Checking rate aren't supposed to trigger hard inquiries. You're better off going to an individual company like your bank or credit union first. Stay away from market places like this.

They didn't even try to locate any possible lenders. Just said, "Nope. Your credit is horrible and we want you to pay us to fix it." Basically never even ran a report. I never entered my social security information so how would they even know what's on my report.

Ever since I requested quotes from LendingTree, my phone has been called dozens of times a day. There is no way for me to make it stop and it is driving me nuts!! I'm pretty sure they sold my number to some list makers or something, as I'm now getting calls not just in regards to refinancing my mortgage, but also to buy my home. I would advise everyone to use a real broker and stay away from these guys, or use a burner phone you can throw away when you're done finding the lender you want to work with.

I just responded to an unsolicited pop-up from LendingTree. I was curious about the current refinance mortgage rates. After answering their questions and hitting "submit", my phone started blowing up, even before LendingTree responded with their 5 best offers. I did not see on LendingTree's page anywhere where they revealed that they would share my info, but I have probably, over the last three days, blocked over 100 phone numbers on my phone and I am still getting calls and emails. These calls are originating all over the United States. I am also getting text messages, asking when a "good time to have a convo about my mortgage needs". Beware. Avoid the LendingTree trap.

I was trying to document a negative experience with one of the lenders on LendingTree. However, when I post the review on their website, it gets rejected every time. I have followed the exact guidelines for posting reviews.

A reputable company, they do make it possible for more than one Lenders to give a quote for rates. But the calls can become extensive and bothersome. We ended up using a Lender not arranged by them. We did so because the Lender we chose was the most responsible and had the best rates and conditions of the mortgage companies.

They are a good company agency that’s helpful with the loans experience that you did not know and they sure will be quite the right information. It seems like they advertise you to get the right help and the right source communication so you have the right information to get all the seed loan you’re looking for. It’s a good agency to help you with your credit and make sure you are with the right loan agency.

The mortgage brokers are exceptional. They do everything that they can to ensure that you get the mortgage you want at the lowest rate. I am dealing with a mortgage broker, Patrick, who is in constant contact with me regarding my mortgage application.

Clint ** helped me to refinance my car loan. He was very patient with my never-ending questions and was always professional and helpful. He was not pushy or salesy in any way. I would definitely recommend their services for your financial needs.

Blowing my phone up!! Just wanted little info and regret giving my email and cell!! Don't give yours! I have had no less than 10 calls in 2 hours from putting my cell in the LendingTree website when getting loan info. I will not use Lending Tree for any loans... they obviously sell your info!!

I found the right mortgage lender using LendingTree. I will go to them in the future before I search for a company on my own. Perfect place to shop, compare rates and speak to potential Lenders. Both were legit with excellent ratings. Two out of the three companies contacted me within hours based to start the preapproval process. Great company.

Excellent credit score and moderate/high income. Rate approved from PenFed 2.89% for 40k vs 5.6% as proposed from Lending Tree. Understood that this is not their loan offering, but the fact that they can not pull together competitive offers (low 3% for Chase offer) shows that this is likely an enterprise that functions largely off of advertising connections. Essentially it is useless. Disappointed I wasted a credit check on this.

I used Lending Tree to identify possible mortgage refinance companies. In this respect the companies that were supplied were valid mortgage banking organizations. What I have issue with Lending Tree is their privacy policies. I don't know the details since we rarely read, in detail, the fine print but when I signed up in less than a day my email spam increased 400% and my telemarketing calls increased 500%; these volumes cannot be coincidental and over 95% of the spam was not mortgage related. I can't say it's totally on Lending Tree but if it occurred from the companies they promote/partner with then they should also be responsible for them. They're already making money from the bank that I will refinance with and if they're making money from selling my information that's not good business, in my opinion, as now I am letting people know what happened; coincidence or not.
