Last August I requested some information from Lear Capital on precious metal investing for my IRA portfolio which consisted exclusively at that time of mutual funds. Shortly thereafter I received a packet from Lear containing sales literature and some general information about enrolling in an IRA account containing gold and silver. I was hesitant to transfer monies from my dividend paying funds into a commodity and told the Lear account manager (David **) so when he telephoned to follow up on the mailing. He said he understood my concerns, mentioned some rationales for owning a small piece of my portfolio in gold and silver and indicated that he call back in a couple of weeks. He followed up precisely as promised-in fact many times over the next 4 months- patiently adhering to my postponements.

Cal was very professional as usual and the entire experience was most enjoyable. Cal is always fun to talk to and he is most informative.

I worked with two folks Jarred ** and Brian ** were very helpful in alleviating my concerns. All this securing my financial future is very scary to me and they made me feel very comfortable with what I have done. I began dealing with Jacob ** by buying several 2014, 1.5 ounce Arctic Fox Coins at a price of around 41 dollars each. After having the coins for a while Jacob called and said that silver had fallen below a support level and that I needed to sell before it dropped to 10.00 an ounce, which was nothing but a scare tactic to get me to sell my coins. At first I said no but he kept pushing me to sell my coins, then offered me 15.90 an ounce which was way below my purchase price and convinced me to buy platinum and said that I would not be charged any commission.

Representative was very professional and helpful in regards to my needs. He walked me through every aspect of my order, paperwork, payment instructions, and shipping. I am very satisfied with my transaction. I will definitely use him again should the need arise!

I have contacted Thomas ** my account representative on two occasions to receive my confirmation of my recent investment of $20k about four weeks ago. I have yet to receive a response or confirmation of my purchase. I did receive the 10 silver eagles as the promotion a few days ago but still have no idea or written confirmation of my $20k acquisition for my IRA. This was my second investment with LEAR and the first transaction was very good but this time it was a 180 degree difference. Thomas pawned my off to some other person (named Robert) to make the transaction and it took several days to finally communicate with Robert and make the purchase. I use to recommend LEAR but now have a very different opinion as I don't even know if the purchase was made or where my money is.

He made it really easy to roll part of my retirement over to a silver IRA. I feel much more secure knowing I own precious metal that is not subject to our corrupt banking system.

I was told the Canadian snow falcon was a special coin that Lear had exclusive rights to and the cost of $454/.25 oz gold and 1.5 oz of silver $36 was a great deal. Liars and cheaters. Come to find out they charged me 28.8% markup as commission! DON'T buy from LEAR CAPITAL. I found several lawsuits and very dissatisfied customers on the web. I have hired a lawyer out of Texas who has constantly sued and won cases against LEAR. I'll get my money back one way or another. Cheats... Liars and very deceptive! Midwest Metals is a good co.

Shipping gold and silver in different packages means staying home twice waiting to sign for the coins. Sending shipping email when no shipment was made means waiting all day. I recently purchased some Silver Snow Falcon coins from Lear Capital. Ms. Jody **, Senior Account Executive, was the agent that assisted me with my purchase. From initial phone call to delivery took less than three weeks. The coins were packed tightly in tubes so that they would not rattle -- a safeguard against damage and revealing what was being shipped. The tubes themselves were packed in a sturdy container and this container was shipped in a nondescript brown box, which also is a shipping safeguard against theft. Ms. ** kept me apprised of the progress of my purchase, from check receipt to estimated date of delivery, with timely phone calls. This is the third time I've purchased metals from Lear, and I have been very satisfied with the service on each occasion.

Lear Cap. is typically very easy to deal with, but this time was different. First, after placing my order, I called back with an issue, and left a message. When no one called back after a couple of days, I had to leave another... still no return, so I called back again. Very disappointing. Then, when I received my order, the coins were not what I had ordered. Instead of the Indian head silver rounds, they were something completely different (still 1 oz. silver rounds, but not what I ordered). After checking the website, I spotted the disclaimer which stated "Coin shown may not be the same as..." So it's partly my fault, but still makes me apprehensive to order from Lear again.

The coins were beautiful. I wish it had not taken as long to receive them.

I spoke with Alex ** on 12/28/15 and got some numbers for coins that I was interested in. Several times during the conversation Alex confirmed to me that I would receive $500 in silver Snow Falcon coins. At no time did he say anything about having to order 50 Snow Falcons to qualify for one extra. At the end of the conversation, I once again confirmed that the order we had discussed would include $500 in free Snow Falcons. The next day, when I called back, Alex was not there. The person I talked with the next day informed me that no such offer was available and would not be included with my order. aI assume that you can review the recorded conversation to confirm my conversation. Needless to say, I was greatly disappointed.

Lear Capital sounded like a reputable company. My representative there has been really sweet and nice and I've had a very pleasant experience so far. They've always done what they said they were going to do, and I appreciate that. I bought about $27,000 worth of 50-cent pieces that were thin or not in very good condition, which if I had to do over again I might go a different route. My brother, who was with Monex, was trying to give me advice on silver, and I'm not sure if I did the smart thing with going with Lear. I'm looking for the price of silver to go up, but it's pretty slow. I called the rep back and she says, "Well, take out the ones you don't want and mail them back to us and we'll send you some '64 Kennedys." So, I did that and everything went fine. I like working with the precious metals, but that took a pretty good chunk to start with. The silver content is the route that I've been going, not the coins.

I was easily walked through the entire transfer process by Robert ** and Gina **. They were extremely helpful and always in contact with me during and after the process. The only thing that was a bit concerning on how long it takes for the precious metals to be delivered to the safe house and updated on the SDIRA site for analysis by me. I was looking for a way to get some of my retirement account out of the normal ETFs that my broker had me into. My confidence in the current administration and their fiscal policies is somewhat less than stellar. My overall faith in the future of America with our do nothing congress and our pretend so called new breed of lawmakers who only pay lip service to making a difference is severely shaken. Purchasing silver and other precious metals will at least give me a slight measure of confidence that I will be able to continue to make sure my wife and I will be able to afford some minimal amount of survival funds. If I manage to survive the madness of current day America I may actually have more I can convert into this mode of investing. I truly appreciate the help I got from Gary ** and Paul **.

I couldn't have had a better experience! Everything was handled according to my wishes. After placing the order, I realized I was going to be out of town during the normal delivery time. I wish he would have explain more professionally the way things work. The amount that would be taken from my IRA, the way it will be shipped and how long I had to wait for delivery, and the amount per month I have to pay for them to hold it. It wasn't until afterwards that I was told how much his cut was and how much I would be left. It was more than half of the entire money. I felt that was not a good way to do business. I would want my customers fully grateful and pleased. I felt it wasn't above board. With the large amount I should have had a bigger discount. I felt it was not done properly.

My sales agent was easy to understand, very personable and knowledgeable. I was able to buy at a good time and was sent info package and documents immediately. While I was on vacation in Florida, there was a mix up in delivery dates for a shipment of silver coins, I called my agent, William who assured me that if it was delivered there was a signature involved and if no-one was there to sign it would be returned to LCI. What wasn't taken into consideration was the fact that the FedEx driver signed for the package and didn't use the right signature. He put H. ** instead of C. **. And left $2,500 worth of silver coins sitting on my doorstep.
