I have been ordering from JM Bullion for five years now. Every time has been excellent. They have a wide variety for metals, coins, bars, etc to choose from, the cost is reasonable for most things, and once they have the money, they ship your order out within a day or two. Communication with them is excellent, if I ever a question, they are there to help, you get regular updates on the status of your order, shipping, tracking and estimated arrival time. All in all, this is a great company to do business with.

I ordered my monthly silver from these clowns. It took them 3 days to ship when it clearly states that it will ship as soon as payment clears. I paid with a check card and they clear immediately and then it gets lost in the mail. I contacted customer service and they said to wait two more day and if it didn't show up as delivered THEY WOULD contact me to make an insurance claim. 5 days later I had to contact them. I will NEVER buy from these clowns again. Sdbullion does a much better job, I ordered from them and 3 days later my silver was in hand.

I wanted to buy coins online. JM Bullion was stated to be one of the companies you can trust to purchase coins online. I have made multiple purchases this year from JM Bullion. I have been satisfied with everything I have bought. There is a nice variety to choose from. You can get coins from different countries. Everything is packaged carefully. The company communicates well. I know when the coins are shipped, and when I should expect to receive them. I mostly purchase these coins to give to my seven-year-old son for when he does a good job in school, gets a good score on a test or does extra work. When I give him a coin, he is so happy and proud. The newer and shinier the coin, the happier he is. I trust this company so much, I do not wish to try purchasing from a different company.

I've ordered multiple purchases over the past year. Never had an issue with JM Bullion! I love the different varieties they have! Their products are amazing, and the highest quality!! I enjoy reading their investor guides as well, I learn a lot about the different precious metals in the industry, along with semi-precious as well. Hands down, they are the best out there!

I ordered 2 silver coins for Christmas. The shipping update showed that they were delivered but I never got them. I contacted the company as well as the postal carrier and the post office worked diligently to retrieve my package from wherever it was erroneously delivered. The company, however, responded with an email that they are not liable once it states that the product was delivered. There is no option to alter the carrier so I am at the mercy of their chosen carrier. They get to keep the money and not claim any responsibility but now I am out my money and they are not out anything. I cannot guarantee they sent it since I didn’t get it. Quite a scam. Should have seen the red flags when I saw that they accept crypto as currency. Untraceable currency is never a good sign. I guess I will be more careful next time, but I will never order from this scam company again.

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. It's true that once delivered, our coverage ends. This is why we send many notifications of the order being shipped, out for delivery, and then delivered. You're always able to upgrade to add a signature if the order is under $1000. If it's over $1000 the signature is automatically included. Without having any order information I can't further comment on your specific case. Would you be able to share your order number?

Their website had deceiving and misleading information. They say varied mints and conditions and should share samples of the varied mints and conditions (give as many sample photos as you can). The pictures they show on the website DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT reflect the product they send. I had purchased product to gift to my kids and what I got was something a Jeweler who is making Jewelry would get, crappy looking square, no packaging as a proper bullion is sold via other credible sources. DO NOT use them, find other sources.

I'm sorry for the disappointment. Since this product is intended to contain possibly hundreds of options, we would never be able to show each example. If you'd like to return the item please contact customer service. The products you received are actually hand-poured bars which generally are considered more desirable than those pictured on our page. If you are looking for a specific type of bar, I'd recommend buying the particular one listed on our site.

Please do not buy gold coins from this company. They are horrible. I had ordered a lunar gold coin from them and I received a empty box few days later. The box they used for shipping a gold coin was of poor quality. The box was cut open from underneath and the coin stolen and then a transparent plastic tape was reapplied. I will never ever buy coins from this company as they are not trustworthy. You spend thousands of dollars and the quality of the box and supplies they use is disgusting. There are better companies out there like Liberty Coins, Bullion Exchanges who really have great shipping standards.

They did not include my full order and told me package had been tampered with, then they changed the story. Told me claims would call me back, then said the package was not tampered with and that they would refund me the missing pieces but it would take a few days, still waiting. Have gotten no email confirmations, nothing but the runaround. They do right by 90% of people to stay in business but make a lot of money jacking 10% of people on the side. I was one of the unlucky ones, thank God for PayPal and that this wasn't a large order of I would be out a lot of money.

Have bought a lot of gold and silver through them. JM has never disappointed. I personally will only use them for my precious metals purchases. Orders usually received in 2 to 3 days. Would be nice if they implemented some type of loyalty point system for purchases.

I’m new to this! My first call was to JM Billion, the call was good until I received my receipt through email. Bought two 20 count (Tubes) Silver Eagle Bu, the first tube was over one hundred plus than the second tube! I called a couple of weeks later & bought three more silver Eagle tubes (60) coins. It was then I asked about my first transaction weeks ago. They told me during me call the price has changed? I still don’t believe them that while placing my order the price changed over one hundred plus dollars? Make sure while on the phone with them you know what prices you’re being charged. I plan on buying twice month, not sure if I will buy from them again!

I invest in gold and placed an order and paid for the transaction using my credit card. My card was charged and the the order was canceled because of their internal review nonsense. I contacted the company and spoke to customer service agent and confirmed that all of the information on the order was correct and verified that I was the person that placed the order. This seems to be an ongoing problem with other customers that have also placed orders. This is my 1st time ordering from them and the last. I would recommend using SD Bullion instead for purchasing precious metals. I have never had a problem using my credit card for my orders with SD Bullion. I find this situation to be hilarious for the simple fact that I'm paying the overspot price plus a charge for using my credit card.
Over spot rate=$81.77
Use of CC rate=$93.37
Total for 1 oz gold bullion=$2,081.75
That is a difference of $175.14 over current gold rate. So the company would have made $175.14 for an order for a single oz of gold purchased. I decided to just order from my regular company SD Bullion. I placed the order without issue. I would have given JM Bullion zero stars if the option was available. Customer service rating a big zero. Their review to prevent fraud is just nonsense. I recommend using another company for your gold and silver purchases to include SD Bullion because I have never had a problem with this company.

This business is a fraud. I been their customer for over a year. The first time I am selling to them. They stole 2 bars of gold and denied receiving them. I called them and sent them the purchase orders and asked them to weigh the content they claimed to have received, vs the FedEx package weight through fedex system. Or view the tape of unboxing. The team via email was just rude and ** at best. They lied and simply said that I either accept the loss or get my gold back. But missing 2 bars. I called the customer service almost non-english-speaking girl who lied and said the whole company is managed by 2 people one of whom is the ** on the email.
I asked them to do a simple weight calculation between what fedex received they refused!! Then accused me of not sending the gold I sent. This company is a scam and a fraud. Do not trust them. They will rob you of your precious metals then deny receiving it. Only to offer either the adjusted amount or get your good back (with a hefty charge of shipping)

I have not used JM Bullion in years and decided to try them again with a small order. In the order I had two sealed Silver Eagles: One Mint sealed and one MS 69, and other minor silver rounds and eagles. Both sealed coins had defects which were easily seen with my eyes, so I sent notification to their contact site. They did not even have the good business sense to call or e-mail me which in itself says a lot about their honor when a problem arises. Thank God I was trying them again with a small order ($300). If they will not communicate when there is a problem - why use them? Everything else went well, but when they deliver sub-standard products when the customer pays full price for goods - They cannot be trusted in my opinion. Buyer Beware Thank You, Don.

Bought 180 1 oz. Silver Dollars...Attempted to sell 40 at an agreed price...When JM received the silver they felt 25 of the 40 were "milky"..So they offered less for those pieces they originally sold me..Apparently, JM sold me "milky" silver or they are not being honest...2/3rds of the 180 pieces may be "milky"??? Needless to say, I will not buy from or sell to JM again.

On October 13, I placed an order for (3) 1oz Valcambi Gold Bars using JMs ACH payment system (which is basically a checking debit). This was my first and last time using this fraudulent company. The following day, the funds cleared and the money was removed from my account and into JM Bullion's account. To my HORROR, I received an email from JM on 10/20/22 stating that they cancelled my order due to their sketchy “Internal Review System”. I called them, verified all my information, and this was not good enough. They CANCELED MY ORDER WITH NO EXPLANATION AND REFUSED TO REFUND ME unless I signed some ridiculous legal contract that they have drawn up. The legal contract that they want you to sign pretty much requires a lawyer to understand it. It’s 4 pages long and when you read it, it makes it sounds like JM is trying to weasel their way out of having to refund your money.
Why would the buyer have to sign a complicated legal document to receive a refund when JM is the one who canceled the order, took the money, and provided zero explanation?! You can’t make this stuff up folks. Perhaps the worst “customer service” in the universe. They stole over $5,200 from me, failed to send the gold, never provided an explanation, and are holding my hard earned money hostage. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT TRUST! They will NOT get away with this and I will fight this with every ounce of energy I have until I receive every penny of my money back.

I had purchased a gold bar from JM and had no issues. However, I recommended the website to my parents and my mother made a purchase of (5) 1oz gold bars using their ACH payment system. The money was transferred to JM. 5 days later they sent my mother (who is 64 years old) an email that said they had cancelled her order “due to their internal review process” with NO FURTHER explanation. My mother even spoke to them on the phone, still no explanation as to why they cancelled her order and they said they would refund her money. THERE IS MORE!
My mom then received an email from JM Bullion, instructing her to sign an online contract agreeing that she would NOT notify her bank to pursue a refund as a pre-requisite for her to receive her money back from JM Bullion. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. Does this make sense??? NOPE! The website violated our trust then want us to sign an online contract???? This is by far the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Avoid at all costs. We will not allow these scammers to get away with this!

Used JM Bullion multiple times (38 times) before this issue, Purchased a product and tracking information did not update. I reported it nine days later (their policy is seven CALENDAR days for a claim), they denied the claim to send me the product I ordered or to refund my money. USPS has proof that JM Bullion never sent a package and only created a shipping label. This customer is out the money and didn’t receive the product… This is another company that proves the customer is always wrong.

I ordered a gold coin from them and paid via ACH, and the payment cleared the next day. I was then informed by JM Bullion that they could not fulfill the order (which was a sale item), and that a market loss fee would be applied to the refund. After three weeks of email communication, they advised the date on which the refund would be issued - this was not honored either. Now waiting for the issue to be forwarded to their billing department, per the last communication I've received.

It took sometimes for them to agree to refund. Checks were sent twice but somehow didn't arrive at my address (I waited for 2 weeks each time), then they refunded through the bank. Finally got my money back 4 months after they cancelled my order (July-November), make sure you wouldn't need the money urgently.

When ordering on July 29th I chose ACH payment, yet it was cancelled by my bank on the same day and I called JM Bullion as soon as I saw the bank notification to ask if I could pay with wire transfer. They said I could so I made the transfer on July 31st, got email confirmation my order was paid on August 2nd. Still, my order was cancelled on August 12th, they claimed the account was empty (but if it had been empty, I couldn't have made the transfer).
Then the saga started, JM Bullion claimed they received my payment as ACH payment (they have the same receiving account for both ACH and wire transfer) on August 2nd and I need a dispute reject letter from my bank for them to process the refund. My bank confirmed numerous times via emails that my direct debit was cancelled and the fund was sent with wire transfer, thus there is no dispute possible for me and they can't provide any dispute reject letter (because there's no dispute option to start with). Yet JM Bullion doesn't accept my bank's emails, doesn't even care to read I guess. Their customer service supervisor called Brandy, I saw her names mentioned here at least twice for intimidating customer service. I'm not surprised, I tried explaining many times both email and on the phone, she didn't listen. Now I don't know how to make them refund me for an order they received the payment then cancelled.

Great selection, fast reliable shipping. But my first time selling back to them, they only gave me basic low bar price for premium RCM 10 Oz bars, I did make them aware of it and they never made it right. The website clearly showed a higher buyback price for those bars. Lesson learned.

Buying gold, silver and copper is my preference. Yes, I have a few sites that I buy from. I still prefer doing my research and 80% of my purchases thru JM Bullion. The Silver and Gold I like getting from JM Bullion. It's quick and painless process to actually GET gold and silver from them. It's usually shipped the next day and makes it to me within three days. Tracking provided. The products I buy are exactly as described, well packaged and DISCREET! I don't need the mailman, UPS, Fedex or ANYONE knowing what I buy. Bad enough the greedy govt. knows. Longer story short? I buy confidently with JM Bullion.

There are a lot of potential ways to stress about buying precious metals online and receiving it via postal service. That's what makes JM Bullion all the more worth it to me. I am a professional worrier, but JM does not leave much room in their process to become uncertain or concerned. The instructions and confirmations they send via email are timely and make information easy to find. I didn't feel stressed about the wire transfer being sent on time and successfully (which is good because I had a slight delay due to my banking app) because they're very good about sending you status updates, not sending you a billion unnecessary emails, and making subject lines clear so you don't miss them.
My tracking code was sent very early on and using USPS as the carrier was also a lot less anxiety-inducing than FedEx, because I could easily refresh my tracking page whenever curious to see the status and I could selectively choose what kind of alerts I wanted them to send (including whether they should send it by email or phone - very smart of them to do). My package wasn't priority shipping but still arrived promptly without delay; in any case, I never had to wonder where it was. My package was well-packed to keep things from jostling around in the box, which I appreciated because it made it unlikely someone could shake it around to get an idea of what was inside. The box itself was also plain and inconspicuous, and they included a sheet of my itemized order so you can immediately check that everything is where it should be.
All-in-all, I found that ordering from JM Bullion was very smooth and as simple as it could be for something like precious metals. You get the impression that they prioritize efficiency without cutting corners regarding the customer experience. I like that they take their business and customers very seriously and plan on ordering from them in the future.
Oh, and something I REALLY appreciated that you just never see with most online businesses - they don't sign you up for promotional emails automatically once you order something! I think that's absolutely wonderful honestly, that they give you the option to sign up for promotions and news separately and respect your wishes to not receive those emails even if you use their services. As someone who works in digital marketing, this told me everything I needed to know about how much they prioritize long-term customer loyalty and their brand reputation.

Purchased certain items based on the description to find out that all was not as it appeared to be. The description was very misleading. Upon attempting to return they offered me less than half of what I paid. No apologies even when I told them they just lost a customer. I have been a customer of theirs for many years. Bottom line...read the fine print if you can find it.

I appreciate the emails that let me know about new specials and coins that become available. Purchasing is easy since I can use my PayPal account. Additionally, the delivery is always fast with the purchase safely wrapped. I’m new to buying metals. I feel lucky to have come across JMBULLION. It’s a company I can trust.

I purchased almost 600$ worth of silver with crypto. JM Bullion has a third party called Bitpay handle crypto transactions. My money was placed on a 72 hour hold after which it is gone. My transaction ID has been provided, nothing has been done on JM Bullion's side. They gave a me a number for bitpay which is just a message that directs me to their website for help. No contact whatsoever back from bitpay or JM Bullion's billing dept. It's been over a week. No invoice, no order, nothing! Just out 600$.

A recent order of mine was lost the day after pickup for USPS priority outbound. I waited a few days to contact JMB because I work in e-commerce management, and since the original surge - myself and my agents have noticed that carriers frequently wait a few days to scan the packages or sometimes don't even bother to scan until the package is at the recipient's local distribution facility. We get dozens of calls daily accusing us of just leaving product on the warehouse floor and not handing it off to carrier drivers because tracking says waiting for pickup (read: not scanned yet!). Because, you know, that makes GREAT business sense. Welcome to the latter years of the first quarter of the 21st century.
Thankfully, especially having never read the FAQs (READ THEM!), my Spidey senses kicked in after 3 days and I wanted to notify JMB just in case. Their claims department wrote me back within a couple of hours and opened a case for investigation (no, not the BS excuse you get from a low dollar retailer - these guys do conduct an investigation with a capital I, with paperwork you need to fill out and certify and everything). They said that it could take up to 30 business days. Everything during these COVID days takes longer, trust me.
I got a weekly e-mail with updates which amounted to nothing, and I accepted that because I know how delayed things are these days. Just shy of 25 business days, they sent me paperwork that I promptly printed, signed, scanned, and e-mailed back to the claims department. In less than 24 hours, my original order was re-shipped with UPS 3 day select which somehow shipped out at 9pm from Vegas that day and was on my doorstep the next day (Washington dc area) at 3pm.
All retailers should post banners all over their sites saying please read our FAQs for the love of God. Please understand that this will scare buyers away because most people in this world are functionally, but not literally, illiterate. That being said, please do some due diligence if you are looking to purchase precious metals.
Keyword precious. Act accordingly as if you are buying something precious. I gave myself unnecessary panic attacks during the claims process because all I read were negative reviews online. If you don't mind the premium, you can just buy with a credit card and go with that route, but if you are the type to buy PMs, I would imagine that you would want to get that premium down as much as possible.

I am very happy with my most recent purchase of some silver coins featuring British coats of arms. I know my purchase wasn't a huge investment, but I'm a very casual collector and I make such purchases frequently, both with JM Bullion and elsewhere. My shopping cart here is already growing. And I must say that I enjoy and feel most comfortable patronizing this site above all the others. The above referenced purchase and the others have all included top quality products at reasonable prices delivered quickly. Additionally, the product selection is really quite good.
My only critique is that my coins came secured within the outside packaging (which itself was very good and secure, btw) by those flimsy plastic sleeves. Had the two coins shifted only a little bit more during shipping, the coins would have been in contact and would likely have caused scratches to each other. I know this arrangement is pretty standard, but I think JM Bullion could upgrade to capsules and distinguish itself from its competitors a bit. At the very least, I would have loved the option to have my coins shipped this way upon checkout. In my mind, this is the only facet of my experience keeping me from giving JM Bullion five stars.

They will take your money and not deliver your order. I have proof from USPS that it was never even sent out, yet JM treats me and other customers that it is our fault for not reading the terms and conditions. We were all given notice that our order would be delayed, yet, we are supposed to contact them within 3-7 days. This has happened to a number of customers; yet, they take no responsibility. This has been a nightmare, and I wish to avoid that for others.

I ordered just over $200 in SIlver coins. They used the USPS (worst delivery in the world) and the shipment came to my home while I was at work. They left a note saying they would redeliver and of course USPS did not. 7 days later I call customer service only to be told go to the post office to pick it up. I've made multiple purchases from probably every online bullion dealer, and JM Bullion is consistently the worst, and I've used them for the last time after the most recent interaction. Plenty of reasons, but the primary reason is that they will ship coins in poor condition and then count on you keeping it because you don't want to pay high shipping rates to send the coin back. That's right, they will send you junk that is blotched, stained, or scratched and looks nothing like what is pictured, and then tell you if you want to exchange it -- you're paying for shipping. I have not had this issue at all from any of JM Bullion's competitors. Stay far away & shop elsewhere. Those other sites with lower prices, they actually ship better quality coins!

First of, be careful, this site says for all the postings 'resolution in progress' = JM Bullion responded with boilerplate message. Their customer support doesn't actually resolve issues, and none of the posts are listed as 'resolved'. My story: I purchase some precious metals from the company, and never received my order. The package was held up by USPS, and in the end, never made it to me. JM Bullion is refusing to help, hiding behind some clause # 14, that states "as soon as the package stops moving, please notify us within 5 days. Otherwise, you're on your own". It is mind boggling that thousands of dollars worth of product would be:

Two months of fighting with JMBullion, I am out of luck, and out of a few thousand dollars. Case resolution people are ghosting me, and customer service, is not allowed to talk to case workers. What a joke.

I paid $1,007. 46 for a 10 ounce silver bar on 2/14/22. Today 5 weeks has passed and nothing. Numerous phone calls to the company which refers you to claims dept which is nonexistent. I was told after 7 days I could not put in a claim so they kept my money. According to the USPS tracking number I was given the silver was never sent out. I searched JM Bullion on the Better Business Bureau website only to find a very large amount of people that have gone through exactly what I am going through. The claims depth refuses return my phone calls or respond via email. BBB needs shut them down for stealing people's money. Claims tells us after 7 days they get to keep our money. The most crooked company I have ever dealt with!

I ordered 100 1 oz coins of silver. Got an e-mail the next day saying my order had been cancelled due to it being a risk or some nonsense? My card had plenty of money and I'd ordered plenty of coins in the past. But, ok fine, they didn't want my business so I went elsewhere. Problem is despite cancelling my order they still charged my card and I couldn't buy elsewhere. By the time I got their charge off my card coins had gone up .50 and with 100 coins that's $50. Did they offer to pay me for my loss, of course not, though had I cancelled and cost them $50 I'd have been charged. Not doing business with them anymore, I'd been a loyal customer but this was just dirty.

I placed an order using my bank's credit card. A few days later, received an email requesting a check to be mailed in. It was not typical so I sent an email asking to cancel the order - since they demand a check, the payment had not been processed and, therefore, the order had not been placed. Now they demand a "market reduction" fee of $101. They claim this "policy" is mentioned somewhere on page 666 of their agreement... I called my credit card company and opened a dispute.

There's no good reason to buy from JM Bullion. If something happens to your shipment there's a very good chance your claim will be denied. I checked today and I can get the same coins (from another merchant) for the same price on eBay. It's very hard to lose money/coins (anything) when buying them on eBay. I'm not a huge fan of eBay, but they really protect their buyers. It's actually too good; you'll figure that out if you sell on eBay.
Also, it is important for you to note that your claim was denied because you failed to report the matter in a timely fashion. Thank you." Even if you report it in a timely manner, they can always say you didn't and many things can go wrong (for you the customer) in the claims process. High value orders often go "missing" and JM's "insurance" does not protect you like you think it does. Maybe better off buying elsewhere or at least pay with a credit card and/or PayPal. I write this to warn others. Also you might want to keep your orders small, if you can, where ever you order.

I ordered gold coins totaling a large sum. To save costs the website gave a discounted rate if I used ACH instead of a credit card. The money was deducted from my account and about a week later I was notified that my order was canceled due to security measures on JM Bullion's end. The email stated that I must call my bank and have them charge JM Bullion back to receive my refund. When I called my bank they stated that they cannot make a claim because the transaction was not fraudulent.
I went back to JM and they said that they then need a claim denial letter from my bank. I received that 2 weeks later and sent it to JM Bullion. They then responded that they needed it scanned as pdf and emailed to them. I emailed them back and have not heard a response since. It's been almost 7 weeks since they charged my account and they keep giving me the runaround and not giving me my refund. At this point I don't know if I need to contact attorneys or go to their headquarters in Texas.

Updated on 03/23/2022: Never received my $2,000 package (1 oz of gold) due to JM Bullion shipping the package to an incorrect address (address in USPS sytstem did NOT match the order). I've called JM Bullion several times - explained the situation to them, and everyone is very friendly, saying they will look into the issue, and get back to me. But one month later, there are no results/and no action, and at this point, I am being ghosted. Do yourself a favor, and do not shop with JM Bullion.
Original Review: $2k Gold Coin was never delivered. Once we got tired waiting (2 weeks after ordering... keep in mind - this is when USPS was shipping free covid tests, so we assumed the delay was related to that) - we called JM Bullion, who were very understanding, nice, and said they will research! 2 hours later we get an email saying, "We are sorry to hear you did not receive your order. Unfortunately, no claim will be accepted for the following reasons: * Late reporting. Please refer to section 13 of the Terms & Conditions to which you agreed to at checkout: If a package becomes lost in transit, it is your responsibility to notify JM Bullion of this within seven (7) days of the last tracking update."
At this point, we went to the post office, to see if they know anything. The USPS employee looked up the package, and told us that our address, was missing the apartment number, so most likely, USPS couldn't deliver the package, and sent it back to JM. Even though we've communicated all of this to JM, they keep acting like they are not responsible. Except that they sent the package to the wrong address. Seriously, how can you expect customer to read at least 13 sections of the 'terms', and spend their time to check tracking every day. While YOU, JM Bullion, can check the tracking automatically, seems like a copout.

Ordered $141.86 worth of silver as a gift for my father in-law for my husband. The company gave many options for shipping but on their website. Only one method was allowed to be selected. Standard shipping USPS. The company even issues a warning about using USPS warning of lost packages and shipping delay. I am think (G) they must be mistaken. USPS is government. The company has a 5 star review so I am thinking (G) it must be reputable. I go through with the order. THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE!
Ordered on the 3rd of February and here we are the 17th and no Silver and no money refunded. Each and every time I have called the company they transfer me to claims, they blame the USPS and tell me it's my fault! They make no offer of compromise and ignore my requests for a refund. Worse yet the US Postal service cautioned me when I came in with the tracking info that this company might be a SCAM. After my fifth phone call to them on February 16th the company finally furnishes a updated tracking info that states the package is still on its way. I have received purchased product from China faster than this. 14 days still no item and no refund. I had to reorder the silver from APEX as a result of this not arriving. Told this to JM Bullion and they responded with (THEY DO NOT CARE). So I guess this goes to court!

I purchased a one ounce platinum coin from JM Bullion. They got my money and I got an empty box! When I tried to put in a claim I was told the insurance ceases once I signed for the package. I opened the box AT the post office and showed the postal employee it was empty. He said there was nothing he could do. This was my first time buying silver online. I ordered some sealed containers of silver dollars and they all came in sealed containers. I also ordered some loose coins but 10% were missing. Support was very unhelpful and seemed to default to saying I was lying. Was told I should have taken at least 6 pics of the box before I opened it. I asked where these guidelines are on the site or in my order. Eventually, they conceded this guidance is not on the site but is 'standard industry knowledge'. I did research on JM Bullion before buying and it did not seem like they often short people on orders. That said, this was my first order and they messed it up. If they are going to assume the customer is lying, they need to do better at making sure orders are complete.

Updated on 01/10/2022: I got a phone call from JM Bullions customer service department, but not to offer me a "coupon" like they said in response to my previous review... They called me while I was sleeping (I work nightshift) and asked if I would change my statement to make it say they offered me a coupon (which it already said in my review, that they offered it and I regrettably accepted). Don't have the slightest clue why they called!! And their customer service member "Rey" they stated offered me a coupon over the phone, never offered it, just asked me to add the coupon part to my review which it already said!!! This has made my mind up to go to another company for my precious metals, all they care about is keeping FACE not a CUSTOMER from my experience!!
Original Review: ordered a random year morgan silver dollar ms63. 7 days later I got it inside a perfect looking box so I had high hopes as this was my first purchase and had heard a lot of good reviews. When I opened the box inside the bubble wrap was a 1883 new Orleans mint dollar and I was excited as it was now my oldest and first new Orleans mint coin... but when I looked closer the whole top left of the case was cracked and looked like someone dropped it, as the top left corner was a little flattened instead of round and cracked out over the top and down the left side.
I reached out to them and they said I could return it and possibly get a newer year or not as good of mint location or a $10 coupon on buying more from them...sadly I took the $10 coupon but it doesn't cover shipping, so here I am with a coin I paid $85 to get after shipping and tax and I can't get a offer over melt price ($22.50 value) from any reputable coin dealer in my area due to the damaged case... It felt more like I was dealing with a computer than a person as all their answers seemed generated and not specific to my inquiry. If I sold them something and it was broken on delivery and I didn't really seem to care and offer them a coupon roughly 1/8 of what they paid only good for buying and risking it again from me, how likely would JM Bullion buy from me again? I ask you jm bullion would you buy from me again if I seemed to not care I sold you a damaged product?

JM Bullion sent my package out and says that it is FULLY Insured during transit. My PACKAGE never arrived. I check on it often and it keep saying in transit. Since it is during the Holiday season I thought it was help up as they shipped USPS. The manager Sib J says it is not insured during transit and that they will not refund me or resend out the silver. I own a business and ship goods to my customers fully insured and stand by my word. They are a fly by night company who makes millions and then rip off their customers for a $3000 order. Do not purchase from them.

They also have problems with the Texas Attorney General's office. Stay away from these people. You would be better served throwing your money in the garbage.

Then when you press them about the delivery, don't be surprised when they say they are not responsible for you not receiving your order. Even verifying that the delivery did not happen they still say you're not getting the coins. And good luck getting your money back.

I normally have great success when ordering from JM bullion but I received a coin that was scratched up. I emailed them about it and they asked for pictures. I sent them pictures and they offered a replacement. I sent the coin back and when I received the “replacement” I compared it to the pictures I took of the aforementioned damaged coin and lo and behold they sent me back the same scratched coin in the same broken flip that it came in the first time. Very disappointing. I was extremely surprised that they didn’t even care enough to swap the broken flip. Due to the broken flip the coin was not contained within the flip when it arrived.

I was brand new to metals and was terrified to order online but honestly equally scared to walk into a coin shop. I did my research and settled on taking a chance with JM. I ordered first using a credit card and later using ACH. All items shipped fast based on the method used, tracking was detailed, and my product was delivered and I am super happy.
However, let me be clear that buying online is not without its risk, I met each of my packages at my mailbox. Let's be honest anyone with some common sense can figure out that a package that small/large and heavy must have some value. Note that most of the negative reviews are about missing or tampered packages. It's a double edge sword, JM cannot just up and resend you whatever you said was lost or stolen or they would be out of business. Equally, USPS does not want the public to think/know that its drivers are stealing/tampering with packages so they are not motivated to find out what happened to the package marked delivered. I offer this humble solution to limit the obvious shipping risk, order less per occurrence and meet your delivery man at the mailbox. If they are marking it delivered it better be in my hand. JM sent me what I ordered. I received what they sent.

I have been making purchases from JM Bullion since early 2019 and everything was fine. I guess you truly know a company when there is a problem. I made a $1700 order and left the courier option to JM and JM decided to send it through USPS. I was meant to receive my package at 8PM on Friday 10/15 but the tracking status changed to “delivered, individual picked up at post office”. I went to the post office on Monday and I was told they didn’t have the package and they claimed to have delivered it. I contacted JM’s claims department to let them know. The first reaction was that it exceeded 2 working days. I asked how Friday night to Monday morning was outside 2 working days? I have called claims multiple times since then and it goes straight to voicemail. I still don’t have my package. It’s unfortunate how we treat each other as humans.

Ordered some silver bars and 1/4 oz gold coins. Used ACH to pay. Funds cleared quickly and after a long period of time (their internal processing to assure funds valid). Got notification that they are now shipping product. Then suddenly via an email told due to "internal review" they cancelled the order. They would not state why and kindly said to go to the bank and request they take action to get my money back which can take 10 business days. I have to dispute the transaction. Perfect timing given the market is up from when I purchased the items. So full payment and a couple of weeks of waiting they decide to not honor the order. I bet they gladly ship your order when the market is down while refusing to let you cancel. Quite the scam.

After a bad 1st silver buying experience with APMEX in Jan, my choice of JM Bullion next was 100%. Beautiful new individually sealed 5 oz bars at LOWEST price, ACH paid order to delivery was 44 hours, and sales rep Fabian couldn't have been more helpful. Lot more silver and gold buying planned, and JM is where I'll return!

I've been ordering from JM Bullion since 2017. I'm not a collector, I'm an investor. I don't purchase collectible coins or commemorative rounds. I'm always satisfied with whatever product I decide to get, but I've focused mainly on Sunshine Silver because of the imprinted security feature and the affordability. I'm expecting a serious economic downturn in the near future and I think this is a solid company to use. The shipping times have typically been about 7 days.

Received my order which was incomplete and upon further inspection it was determined that the box was opened from the bottom with a sharp instrument and half of the order stolen and retaped with a different brand and style of tape. I took photos and emailed them to claims department which responded with a requirement for a police report. I filed a report with the Oakland Police Department and with the United States Postal Inspectors office and submitted the required documentation.
Two weeks later I received an email of photographs taken from the video tape of the order being fulfilled with no explanation. I had to reach out asking how this affected my claim and was told that it was denied due to the terms and conditions of JM Bullion. They do not accept responsibility once the package leaves their fulfillment center even though the possibility of employee tampering exist.
I have always had good results with JM and this is the first time I have had a problem and I will not spend any money with them again. I called my credit card company to see if there was any insurance on the purchase and was offered to dispute the charge due to not receipt of items which I did. I am more than happy to return the items actually received but they refused. They do not guarantee you will receive your order so buy at your own risk.

And then again, sometimes there is an equally pleasant surprise in these situations. JM Bullion actually went to the trouble to track me back down over the phone, despite my being in horrible reception territory, and took the time to speak with me and then promptly found an amicable solution in the end. Hence they shall continue having my loyal business, especially knowing even in the rare event of some silly mix ups they'll make sure you're taken care of properly.

Usually excellent service, however I was disgusted when I was shipped the exact wrong items, my actual coins meanwhile sold out. I was hoping to have some decent service but the "best" offer was a measly gift card for less than the cost of one coin, which is useless given they sold out! Even Dollar General has better customer service guidelines than that. Pathetic and lackluster service from a company that should pride itself on professionalism. My last order here and I'll scurry over to SD Bullion or Apmex..

I was shocked to see any negative reviews at all. I am not new to the market, I have made several purchases from other dealers in the past, but the last 9 times I have purchased gold/silver online, it has been with JM Bullion. I have no idea how their customer service is, because I have never needed them. If I pay via credit card, I have literally had my order show up at my house in less than 24 hours on 2 occasions!! Packaging is always done right, top notch company to do business with.

I've placed orders from a few online dealers and JM has never disappointed. For limited releases & higher numismatic-value coins, I always order through JM Bullion. The orders ship in a timely fashion, prices over spot are fair, and their selection is large enough that I don't find myself getting bored with the hobby. I'm also a fan of their price tracking directly on their website so I know when the best time to buy more is.

They say they have the best buy back prices. I got a quote on selling some silver to them and they offered me less than half of what they would sell it for. Thieves! If you plan on buying and selling to them think twice.

This has been one of the worst customer experiences I have had in years. I was hesitant to make a precious metals purchase online, but after a little research I thought JM Bullion was safe enough. To summarize: JM Bullion has extremely stringent payment requirements that they take full advantage of - at their customer's expense. I tried to make a large purchase that was charged and declined twice. The first time JM Bullion declined the order for "risk prevention measures" (they later refused to elaborate), the second time Capital One paused the transaction and then ultimately declined it due to suspicion of fraud on JM Bullion's side.
I contacted JM Bullion when the transfer was still processing and then was shocked to see that they charged my card over $100 for market loss fees due to lack of payment (even though they had a record of my wire transfer made within their criterion). I immediately called their "customer support" in hopes of guidance, at this stage I still wanted to make the original purchase.
I have never felt so disrespected before. The Customer Service Supervisor, Sana, mocked my concerns and openly laughed at me. She was hellbent on defending the company, rather than solving my ordering issue, and even went as far as to condescendingly claim that JM Bullion, despite the fact that their main business is trading short-term volatile commodities, does not profit off the market price fluctuations. She then tried to tell me that it was my problem because it is (supposedly) the first time they have ever seen this happen. Having now seen multiple similar complaints online, I am extremely doubtful that this is a one-off issue. Additionally, if it was a one-off issue, I would have thought that JM Bullion would be more concerned, and more inclined to find a solution so that I could still make a purchase with them.
DO NOT TRUST JM BULLION. What should have been a simple process took up so much of my time, and effort, and ended with stress and a $100 loss (thank God it wasn't higher). To Sana: you are not a robot for this company, you are a human. Please have a little compassion for the customers you speak with. $100 is a lot of money to some, and should warrant a fair explanation and guidance.

I've been using JM for... 10+ years now? I've placed maybe 14 orders from them in that time, and have never had a single issue. All items are extremely well-packed. Not sure what other people are talking about re-delivery issues- all of my packages have come via UPS and required ID verification and a signature. I have recommended them to others many times, and have not heard of any bad experiences from those people either.

First time investor in gold bullion. Really surprised by how easy it was to purchase gold and how reasonable the upcharge was over spot. If you watch their weekly sales, your investment transaction loss is minimal and much better than other sites I researched. I split my order in two parts, paying for one with a bank wire transfer and the other with ACH. Wire transfer order shipped the next day. Bank check order was shipped one week after placing the order. Both orders delivered flawlessly. Website is so easy to use and you'll know exactly what your cost is prior to submitting your order. Highly recommend!

I placed an order online and must have hit that I would mail a check in. A little over two weeks later they said that my order was cancelled cause they didn't receive my check. I went back in and thought that it was cancelled so ordered the exact same order and paid for it with my CC. I got another email stating that they charged me $53, Unauthorized!!! I called and spoke to two people and said that if I have to pay this $53, I will never use them again and believe me I have ordered a lot off of them this year. The supervisor stated, well, although we hate to lose a customer, we don't reverse charges!! Oh Really? But you will lose a good customer obviously!! So there it ended. I won't use them again and SD Bullion has better rates over spot anyway and are much more customer service oriented. So there you have it. A bad company review and a lost loyal customer over $53!! I hope it's all worth it for them!!

I have used this company for several years and have never found it necessary to contact their customer service. To date I have never had any issues with package security or carrier services. Bought one half oz. of gold. JM sent it first class mail with no signature required. I was gone for 4th of July weekend and no gold in mailbox. JM denied my claim so I'm out $948.00. I'm done with them.

I provided copies to JM Bullion of the submitted online police report and the police’s rejection of the report; including the stated reasons the police rejected the report. So I requested to have a police officer meet with me and submit a report as suggested in the first denial. The police officer assigned, called me and stated they will not take the report. I asked the officer to send me an email stating they are refusing to take a report. I provided copies to JM Bullion of the officer’s emailed refusal to take a report. During this time I had filed a claim with the US Post Office; the post office acknowledged the failure to deliver and USPS paid $100 dollars, which is the limit of the USPS’s liability because JM Bullion’s insurance is from a third party. I provided copies to JM Bullion of the post office’s acceptance of the claim and the check sent.
The end result is JM Bullion refused to pay the balance of my loss resulting from the coins lost in shipping. They stated I did not provide an accepted police report. When I requested the name of JM Bullion’s insurance company JM Bullion refused to provide that information.
I believe JM Bullion uses an insurance company as an arbitrator and per their policy JM Bullion’s representative will present your claim to the insurance company. You will not get a fair chance to present your argument directly to the arbiter.
Note: I have emails and documents to support all of the above statements.
Original Review: 5/18/2021I purchased two gold coins from JM Bullion. The box arrived with only packing material and a packing list. The box looked intact from the end the postal worker handed to me. So I immediately opened the box and discovered the coins were missing. Till this event I was a JMB fan, because I had received prior orders promptly and without incident. Now I have a problem. JMB's claim department gives you 5 working days to provide required documentation. Implying my claim will be refused and closed. The photographs are easy, the local police report is proving to be a problem. Curiously they suggested methods to overcome the local police's refusal to accept a crime report. Perhaps because they know their customers will not be able to provide the documents by the deadline.
JMB was correct. It is difficult get the local police to accept an online application or have an officer to come and write a report. I have two emails from two different police officers refusing to take a report and they rejected my on-line report. I am trying to get a theft report from the post office. However they are moving very slowly and it likely to be greater than 5 days before I get some documentation that the post office has begun an investigation. I believe JMB knows the requirements to file a claim may be unattainable especially when they demand it be delivered at their office within 5 days. Save yourself the aggravation, I just lost all the money I saved and then some buying coins online. They are a good company until your order is stolen.

Order number ** placed on Feb 14 2021. Money sent by wire transfer. Package was sent in 2 parts -I called 3 times to verify that it would not be left on the street. UPS changed the tracking number -and later threw the package over the fence on a public street. We found the package in the grass. The second part was returned to Nevada. A private investigator David ** was retained by JM Bullion to track -he discovered the UPS issue and closed my file without helping on the second package. Multiple phone calls to Ray/Shauna and others were unhelpful. I was ready to file charges with the PD about theft by JM bullion.
I called BBB and filed a complaint. Finally a lady at claims sent me paperwork and I filed a police complaint about the loss of package 2 (which was returned to sender) and JM bullion claimed it did not receive. I have the confirmation from UPS -guess they threw it on the street outside the shipping office in Nevada. I am very disappointed with the customer service and the honesty of this company. Finally today I got the last package - which I asked to be shipped to my office - and guess what - it was left on the lobby table - with no signature. I get better service and delivery for rat bait from Amazon - how these guys sell gold and use such shipping methods defies logic. I would not buy shoes from these guys -- 3 months and considerable stress - crooked guys and worse service - avoid the hassle and find a good company who uses a good shipper -- these guys are bad! Would not trust them with dog food.

Order -** was paid with bank transfer on 4-13 and the price of gold gone up by close to 100 during the next 10 days. On the 8th day I was told there's a billing/shipping address issue, and I contacted them to verify the addresses (I bank with a California credit union and live in California and somehow they came up with a Washington state address for me). Fast forward on 4-22, my order was canceled due to their internal review. I called them up and see when I will get the refund... their billing department to ask me do an ACH reversal with my bank, for a transaction that I AUTHORIZED. Clearly these people have no idea ach transfer isn't the same as debit/credit card where I cannot just simply claim the good/service not received then reverse the charges.

Paid for an order of bullion. The tracking said in transit. Will arrive late. After it did not arrive contacted JM Bullion. They said I was supposed to contact them within 2 days so it is my fault. How would anyone know there is a problem within 2 days? Very unreasonable and deceptive. They refuse to refund my money.

JM Bullion shorted me more than 1600 dollars in precious metals from my package. I had to send them multiple pictures of the package and exchange multiple emails over a period of more then a week. It was a very stressful and aggravating experience. I will never purchase anything from this company again.

Updated on 04/12/2021: I just got off the phone with a "supervisor" who wasted 30 minutes of my time telling me how they did nothing wrong, waving "terms and conditions" in my ear repeatedly, going on about lawsuits and how they have to be "consistent". He tells me that had I asked a specific question, I would have gotten a specific answer. Then from the other side of his mouth he tells me that they owe me no answers.
I asked "Brian" very pointedly whether I needed to do anything else in terms of the wire transfer transaction, notifying him that I'd provided routing and account information. That is a specific question, to which he answered "no". He told me I'd done everything I needed to do and to give them 48 hours to batch-process the order.
Had "Brian" given me the correct information, I would have immediately contacted my bank to initiate the transaction. This was on 3/29, three full days before the order was cancelled. At that point, it was because of THEIR failures that the payment was not made, yet this latest call set all blame on me. Customers need no tongue waggling by third-rate, low-rent thieve such as these people. They want your money and apparently will take it any way they can manage. JM Bullion are thieves. Whatever you do, run from them for all your legs will take you.
Original Review: On 26 March 2021 I placed an order for 1160 ounces of silver rounds and casting shot. Having never before done this, I chose payment by wire transfer. Having provided my bank information and confirming my order, a status page came up with "PENDING" listed. I placed the order at about 5:30 PM, on a Friday. The next day, I refreshed the order status to find it was still PENDING. Given this was an online transaction, I became concerned that something may have been amiss. On the following Monday I called JM Bullion at start of business. I spoke with "Brian", explained to him my concerns, and he assured me that everything was fine. He explained to me that these transactions were done in "batch mode", which made no sense to me as online transactions tend to be in real time, but he was the expert and I deferred to his authority on the matter. He further told me that it could take up to 48 business hours to process my order.
As a matter of due diligence, I asked whether I'd done the right things for the payment type. Brian assured me that I had and that all I needed was to wait. I waited three days just to give them some cushion, but when I refreshed the order status page, it went from "PENDING" to "CANCELLED". I immediately called JM Bullion back, this time speaking with "Sauna" (I may have the spelling wrong but it sounded as I spell it here, could be "Sawna" or any of several possible spellings, so pardon me if I got it wrong). I once again had to explain the entire story to her, this time adding the Brian saga as well. She immediately told me that the transactions are NOT done in batch mode, and that the transaction was cancelled for non-payment. She assured me that she would get the transaction corrected and to give her until the end of the day to contact me. This would have been 2 April.
Having heard nothing from Sauna, I called once again, this time speaking to "Weldon" (spelling once again us unsure) who told me after I recounted the entire saga including Ms. Sauna, that they gave me bad information, but that he would be able to correct the transaction. This was the following Monday, 4/5. Be aware that at every turn I made it clear that I wanted the silver and that I would do what they required to make payment promptly. Weldon assured me that the transaction should be reinstated within an hour or so and that he would contact me before close of business. I asked about the $812.52 "market loss" fee they'd had no problem at all in assessing and getting paid by 3/31. He promised me that that would either be refunded to my card or they could deduct the sum from the total. I asked that they do the latter and he assured me that there should be no problem with that.
I pointedly asked Weldon whether I'd failed to do something essential regarding the wire transfer. He was the first to point out that I had to initiate the transfer WITH MY BANK, and that entering the account/routing-number information was insufficient. He then asked me that if he could reinstate the order, would I be able to carry forth with the information he was going to email to me so that the sale would be completed that day. I told him that I would and that I would by all means do as instructed. He asked that I give him "an hour or so - by end of the day at the latest" and I told him to make sure it was early enough that my bank would still be open to receive my instructions to them. Once again, I heard nothing, which was now an established pattern and lead me to greater concern as to with whom I was actually dealing.
The following day, Tuesday 4/6, I called while my car was having its alignment checked. Speaking with "Brandy" (SP??), she was regaled with the entire saga up to and including Weldon, asked to place me on a short hold while she conferred with Sauna, whom she apprised me was a "supervisor". After about ten minutes, she returned to drop the hammer on me that Sauna had decided they "could not" reinstate the transaction and that I was out of luck with respect to the "market loss" fee. I asked them for consideration through their now hollow apologies, but they refused. JM will undoubtedly claim they did nothing wrong and in to-the-letter compliance with their terms and conditions. What they will not likely tell you that the time between the "you've not paid us" email and the cancellation notice was two hours and twenty six minutes.
I pointed out that I'd sustained a severe head injury the week before and that I would happily show them photos of my stapled-shut scalp. They were uninterested. They got their free money and apparently had no intentions of doing ethical business. I am not one to make excuses for my failures, and I did fail to see the instructions sent me via email, but in this case there were some extenuating circumstances, the one being my first time with this sort of transaction and the other being a serious head trauma. But giving me less than two and a half hours to make good on the payment, AFTER BANK BUSINESS HOURS, and to refuse to help me out despite my good faith efforts to correct my inadvertent errors, bringing both parties to satisfaction as would have been the case, the only difference being a matter of seven days, at least four of which were eaten up with JM Bullion's equal failures to act in timely fashion.
Brandy cited those seven days, as if their passage was entirely my doing, which it was not. So in the end I got the brush-off, they stole $812.52 from me as surely as if they'd sent someone to pick my pocket, or break into my home while I was not present. I'm not destitute, but neither am I drowning in cash. My purpose for the purchase was to obtain a hedge against the possibility of a currency collapse, given how America is not churning our dollars in the trillions. I cannot say whether their actions were driven by chicanery or just "HA! GOTCHA!" apathy, and given the results of my having been swindled, their reasons make no practical matter. I'm out $800+ and they appear to be laughing to the bank.
What perplexes me about this brand of low-rent, nickel-and-dime thievery is that a company that does business presumably in the millions or perhaps far more per year, and in whom the buying public places their trust, should be more concerned with the importance and fragility of their reputation as a business than they apparently seem to be. What they showed to me was that they just didn't care about my circumstances. They got their free money from me and that appears to have been enough for them. They certainly did not consider what troubles this may have brought into a customer's life. I will never trust them again and I strongly recommend you not trust them either, particularly in the case where there is any hint of trouble with a given transaction. Apparently, making honest mistakes are no different to them than malice. When one is treated like this, it becomes very difficult not to wonder whether you've been scammed.
If JM Bullion sees this review and wants to call me a liar, I give them permission to publicly release the tapes of the four phone conversations I had with Brian, Sauna, Weldon, and Brandy, and let you readers and potential customers decide based on what was actually said. If they refuse to release those calls, regardless of the excuse, readers will have every good reason to assume JM Bullion are lying. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from these people. Whether corrupt, inept, or just don't care, they will not have your back when things go off course with a sale.
And for the record, it brings me no pleasure to write these things about JM Bullion. I would have much rather come to this site full of enthusiasm to recommend them to everyone. Circumstance leaves me having to settle with the satisfaction of being able to publicly expose the gross mishandling of a sale by these people. Sad stuff, especially for my much skinnier wallet. Thieves of any form I will not abide.

I was able to resolve my issues with JM Bullion/Provident Metals after speaking with management. The claims department was cold and short in their handling of the situation. I should not have had to put this much effort in to correct the issue. However, they ultimately did the right thing and that is what matters the most.

I have placed several orders from JM Bullion/Provident Metals over the years and received all of them. However, this time I did not receive my product. I paid for signature confirmation, and have video evidence of no delivery. I followed the terms and conditions, and yet the claims department still claims I did not notify them in time, and is denying my claim. In addition to this, I have asked to speak with a manager or discuss the issue further, as I believe the terms are being bent to suit their needs. I have been denied the ability to speak with anyone on the phone, or with anyone other than the claims agent that has only responded via email (quite rudely might I add).
The customer service experience has been handled extremely poorly, they're robbing me of close to $700. On top of this, they have had data breach issues with customer credit card information being exposed in recent history. I would recommend finding a more reputable (and less rude) bullion company to do business with. If they'll screw me out of $700, imagine how they will treat a large order that has issues.

The merchandise that I received was something that never should have been shipped in the first place. A large gash in a silver coin. The box it was shipped in was in perfect condition, so it was shipped that way. When I contacted them, they emailed me a label and instructions to return it. In the instructions it said that I have to buy new, unused shipping materials. Returning it in the box they sent it to me in wasn't allowed. Why should the customer have to spend money to return the damaged merchandise that the company never should have sent out in the first place?

JM Bullion locked in a silver price then they sent me instructions to pack and ship. I followed instructions and shipped via their shipping label. It was insured (very important to me) and a couple of days after they received my silver my the money was deposited in my bank account. My local silver dealer, where I bought my silver rounds from, wanted to charge me about $1.35 LESS than the posted silver price. This after I paid more than $3 per ounce OVER when I originally purchased from him. So glad I went with JM Bullion. I will be using them in the future.

JM Bullion was recommended to me by a friend, which is why I was purchasing from them. I made the order and there were no flags, no issues or the CC would not have worked. My CC has a limit of about $20K. There is a limit to CC orders so it was under $5K, and, no, it is not charged up with other purchases. I received an email saying there was an issue when "verifying" my ability to purchase (I guess). I received it on the weekend when I cannot respond or get the situation rectified. So, I thought, I will just go purchase again as this is a one time issue. The items I purchased are no longer available. I think they have returning customers they prefer to sell to and therefore cancelled my order to sell to others. If you can't be assured of the purchase, even after you have received confirmation of it, what is the point of purchasing from these people? Go somewhere else where they don't treat you with disrespect. These people are awful.

The Walking Liberty Silver Dollars are really nice, but getting the coins in my hands was the problems. I ordered them on the 8 Dec & didn't receive them till after Christmas. They shipped USPS knowing it was an issue.

Beware! My package was stolen and reported to the proper authorities and JM refuses sending replacements or refunding me. Your order will have no insurance behind it! I followed their procedure to file a claim and was denied. When you purchase precious metals you would think they would require a signature upon delivery. Instead my package was stolen from my mail box due to late night delivery with USPS Covid issues.

I use the JM Bullion app to check metals prices & link to their store. The app is always up to date for the current prices, and you'll see it change live while using it. The store is easy to navigate and has a price ticker at the top so you can see that the prices are accurate for the current value. The only delays I've had are from my local PO holding packages for an extra day (actually a pretty common thing here, even pre-Covid) I guess for sorting. I've only purchased 1oz silver bullion coins, but they always arrive packed really well and in great condition.

The people who work in the customer service department are really kind. My problem is with JM Bullion has a return policy that is completely ridiculous especially considering I'm a great customer. I might not spend much but I still order a lot of coins for my collection. When everything goes right you have nothing to worry about but when it goes wrong they might offer you a $5 coupon or have you go through the worst process for returning anything bought online. I will give the example of my last issue. I bought a Canadian superleaf coin which is silver and it was described as BU or brilliant uncirculated which was a complete lie. It was definitely a buy back from some collector and if it's second hand it better look good to label it BU but it was in a horrible black ringed airtight which turned the whole coin black all around the entire rim and then there were literally fingerprint marks on the face of the coin wrapping around from the rim.
I called and asked if they could just give me the $15 over silver cost when I bought it as a credit. They offered $5. I felt very insulted that they messed up and they tried every time I have had a problem to tell me it's my fault that I either couldn't return the item because lack of packaging materials because you need to double box it and it needs to be held in place.
Then after I paid for the UPS store to package it I found out that you can't leave it at the UPS store with prepaid labels. I needed to bring it 45 min away to the actual UPS sorting center. I said that I wouldn't do it and we had words. Then they told me if I couldn't drive to the UPS facility then I would need to pay UPS $8 to come pick up the package. I told them that I was the customer who paid for their services and they messed up not me and I didn't want my money back. I wanted to just get another sent to me. I was done with JM bullion until I saw a UPS driver in my neighborhood and I took the chance and just gave it to him and it Finally made its way to JM. JM bullion needs to get their RETURN POLICY back to customer friendly or they won't have any friendly customers left.

My experience with this company has been beyond frustrating. The initial part of the process was easy- sign up, wait for the price to be what I wanted to pay, order by ACH...after that it was ridiculous. My order was flagged, so I received an email to call them, which I did. We discussed the issue and they did not ask for any additional information- a week later, my order was canceled with no explanation. When I called, I was told there were "discrepancies". I was told to place a new order- first I had to wait a week to get my money back. Then I placed a new order, with my account in which I am the ONLY person named. They pulled my funds immediately.
A week later, I get an email CANCELLED. I called, same issue "discrepancies". No one will give me any information on what is supposedly not correct. I had to log into my bank account through THEIR website. I ordered and am shipping to the SAME EXACT ADDRESS on my bank account. Now I have to wait another week to get my money back. Watch gold prices again. You can believe with 100% certainty I will NEVER order from them again!

JM Bullion took $82,000+ of my money by WIRE, then they shipped the order in 2 packages. Both were returned to them because they didn't pay their UPS bill. They promised to send them out again, and the same thing happened AGAIN, for non-payment of their UPS account (according to the UPS agent I spoke to). I keep demanding my money back, and they won't do that unless they charge me a $4,000 "market loss fee". So I demand either my product or my money back, and I keep getting the runaround. VERY uncomfortable with $82,000 sitting in THEIR account, not mine... And if they can't pay their UPS bill, that's very concerning!

A few years ago, I wanted to add precious metals to my portfolio. I was looking for a place to buy silver and gold. I did an online search and found JM Bullion. They had an amazing selection and free shipping on all orders. They had coins, bars, collectibles, statutes and other unique collectible precious metals that I had never seen before. Of course I started slow with small orders. Orders were processed and delivered quickly and efficiently. The precious metals are delivered to your door and using their site is very easy. I am disgusted to have to write a review that seems to align with others who've posted with the same or similar issues regarding lost packages and non-delivery of goods. I made the tragic mistake of ordering a "Pre-sale" item on August 9 with an anticipated delivery date of August 21 to not have this ship until August 24. The bar has been held at their facility and now their USPS local office ever since. Never departing. I contacted them last Friday on the 28th, a day after the "Anticipated delivery date" from USPS to get the run around from the young rep that Erin (supposed claims manager who is horrible) was unavailable and I left my name and number for a callback. I also sent an email thru their website submission to get an auto-generated response that a "Human" would call me back. No call.
I called back on Monday the 31st...again, left a message. Only this time a new rep was stressed out telling me she did not like being put in such position by Erin because she refused to pick up...holding me on the line for half an hour waiting for nothing. No return call. I called again on 9/1 - same thing. Erin refused to return the call once again and I then later received an email from their claims dept making ridiculous demands that I need to file three documents for them to "Consider" a refund due on Sept 6 as if they can bark orders regarding my time on top of the fact this matter is their problem. They try and pass the buck to their customers telling them it's the customer's responsibility to file claims with USPS. This is incorrect... The claims process requires the shipper's information, not the buyer.
This ridiculous email also stated that I needed to file a police report when that is false. The package never left their jurisdiction. This is their report, not mine. Had the package arrived at my location and it was possible theft, I would say maybe...Not in this case. This package never left their facility so the police report needs to be filed by them, not me. Never left Las Vegas. As a paralegal myself, I also asked an attorney about this who agreed that this is a problem they need to deal with. They not only are using an unreliable carrier but they want to go on the cheap and not insure their packages you pay for - shipping high value packages in this day and age with no signature requirement and no insurance, telling the customer it's their discretion whether they are refunded if they receive no package.
I'm not sure who this scam works on, but it's not working with me. They have today to get me my refund or all hell will break loose on them. This is illegal practice as they assume the liability for their packages they ship at their risk by not insuring them. No customer buying precious metals at these prices should be receiving US{S non-signature delivery parcels with no insurance. You go tell that to a court judge you morons.
I will get my money back either way. I was trying to do it the easier way but they choose the hard way. I spent a lofty amount of money at this company in the last several months, never with a delivery issue or problem with over a hundred packages since they also ship everything separate which too is ridiculous if you place more than one order in the same day. I would have expected better service..
Now they lost a customer and this customer will go on a rampage if my refund is not processed. They prefer customers fending for themselves if a problem arises much like other reviews state, severing the trust and relationship. You're not the only game in town. You need to get rid of Erin. She clearly has a hold on someone at your company to still have a job years later after many complaints. Get it together. Your customers have no plan on dropping off the map being out thousands of dollars over your errors.

They alone determined the amount that I was going to pay. They filled in that amount on my debit card account and then processed it with the Bank of America as though I had submitted it myself! The third and final agent I spoke to on Aug. 26th, Sana, said, ”It’s an industry-standard policy. You are NOT going to get reimbursed.” Not only is it not a standard practice but also it might violate several federal statutes including misrepresentation (identity theft) in the execution of a fraudulent interstate banking transaction.
I submitted a purchase order for silver coins on Friday, August 7th. (Order #** for $9,664.20) I misunderstood a note in the tiny print on the order form that my order would be canceled if not completed in 24 hours. (It actually said one business day so they charged for losses over the entire weekend.) Another note that I didn’t see until recently, said other charges "may" apply - hinting that clarifying information would be provided if something were to arise. It notably did not say “will” apply.
By the time 24 hours had passed I had not set up the ability to do a wire transfer with my bank so I let the order lapse (without consequence to me I assumed). I placed another, larger order the next day thinking I was simply starting over to complete the purchase I had originally intended. (The second order was order #** for $9,932.34.) They received payment for that second order and even shipped it before emailing me, after-the-fact, that they had debited $669.65 from my account for not completing the first transaction. The irony is that I indemnified their losses, if any (I have no idea what they paid for it originally) and they get to sell the coins again for a second round of income.
I asked Sana if I could simply complete the purchase so I would at least have something that might still accrue value - rather than being stripped of $670. Sana said I absolutely could not because I had not responded to their efforts to reach me. This was one of six transactions with them. I am not unreachable. I called them the moment I saw their email telling me they had taken money from me without my permission. It seemed clear that it was her discretion whether or not to reimburse me and she chose not to.
DETAILS. The first order - Order #** for $9,664.20, placed on Friday, August 7th was not completed. The second order - Order #** for $9,932.34, placed on Saturday or Sunday August 9th, and wired Monday Aug. 10th. The email telling me they canceled the first order as of Monday August 10 and that they had debited my account for $669.65 was sent on Wednesday August 12th., 10:30 PM.
The first conversation with customer service was Thursday August 13th. Lanice said that the billing department was unusually busy and they were three days behind. She thought I would be reimbursed and said she would call me Monday to confirm. The second conversation with customer service was about a week later. Not sure of the agent's name. He said essentially the same thing as Lanice but said that the billing department would call me within a few days to confirm the status. The third conversation with customer service that ended with the conversation with Sana occurred on Wednesday, August 26th.

I think this place is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! I placed my order and the money got transferred. Now they will not answer the phone and email link does not work. I think FRAUD!!!! Paul, You submitted a bank wire order but sent an ACH transfer. This is the reason for the delay. It takes several days for ACH to clear whereas a wire clears instantly. This order will ship on 8/24 once the bounce period has passed.

Ordered a 10-ounce bar on June 25th. Order is obviously lost someplace. So the fault is not entirely on Jm. It is the experience I have had with them through the process. Specifically Erin from customer claims. Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., C.S.T. We are at almost 2 weeks now. They said they would contact USPS, they never did. I had to initiate the lost package claim. I have not received any reply from Erin. I have left voice messages, and numerous emails. Still nothing. I have taken screenshots from the USPS tracking page from the first missed delivery. This is not how you build or, maintain faith and trust in any business. Once they have your money, you are left on your own if there is a problem. I would NOT. ABSOLUTELY NOT buy from this company again. There are others.

I placed an order online for gold coins with JM Bullion using PayPal (and I'm glad I did) for over $7600.00 Dollars. I did not get a confirmation. Instead I got an email thanking me for signing up for their newsletter. I called their 800#. Waited. Talked to Lisa. She could find nothing related to my name or email. She referred me next day to another Lisa. Same result. I emailed again and got another person who wanted to refer me to one of the Lisa's. This went on for a few days.
I finally filed a dispute with PayPal. Got another email from JM Bullion saying, "Thanks for contacting us but no trace of your payment." I told them to find someone who could log onto their PayPal account and look for my payment. Next day email says they found payment but won't refund it unless I drop dispute. Told them I can't reopen dispute if they don't refund (I now don't trust them to do so). Why don't they just send the coins? They said there wasn't an order # DUH! What do they do if you send a check? They said. "Sorry Charlie we'll wait for PayPal to make a charge back...." That takes a month... Hasn't happened yet. Been 14 days. There are plenty of other places to buy from. Totally untrustworthy company. Don't risk it.

I have been a customer for a few years now and recently sold silver bars back to them which I mailed with insurance and followed the instructions to the tee! The package was received by them however over 200 ounces of silver were missing valued over $3,400. After month of providing all the information asked of me and the receipt for which the transaction was insured under they declined My claim and told me to not contact them again! Even the rep I was dealing with said that the reason for declining the claim was vague and there was nothing I could do. For the record, I have a great job and hold a secret security clearance so rest assurance my claim is not false. Definitely do business elsewhere!!!!

Had the worst experience of my life with JM Bullion. I bought 16 ounces of gold (more than $28K) and it was delivered in an empty box via the post office without a signature! I followed every step of their "investigation" including getting a police and post office report and after 45 days, my claim was denied for no reason. If you buy gold from there, you are playing Russian roulette that your gold might not ever show up and that they will blame you for it and you will never get reimbursed.

I purchased a gold coin in March. JM Bullion shipped it on April 7th. However the coin never arrived!!! It's possibly lost during USPS transit. I called them during mid April. They told me to wait. I called them again on April 30th and asked for a refund. They told me to submit a form to claims department. I did and they denied my claim! The reason is ridiculously simple -- I made the claim late. I am supposed to submit claims within 3 business dates when the coin went missing. JM Bullion, why would you tell me to wait when I FIRST CALLED? It's a simple denial of responsibility. I am going to call my bank to cancel this transaction. Will keep you guys posted on updates.
Unfortunately, when we are notified of an issue late it prevents us from adequately investigating the loss. It's the responsibility of the customer to notify us of an issue in a reasonable time frame. In this case we were not notified of an issue until 23 days after shipment.

I purchased silver bars from JM Bullion and paid via ACH same day. Payment cleared the next day. 15 days later, my order was cancelled. When I finally got through to customer service, after 21 minute hold, they said they couldn't verify me via phone, but no one had contacted me by phone. They said they couldn't leave a voicemail, but I have unlimited voicemail capacity. Since the customer service rep was able to verify me on the spot, I asked that my order that was cancelled just an hour ago be reinstated, but they refused. The spot price of silver had gone up significantly since I placed my order. JM Bullion cancelled my order rather than fulfilling it at the original price I paid.

They advertise platinum but very very few products available and the markup is huge. North of 10%. I’m a customer and you do get what you order so I would recommend them as a site to consider when looking for gold or silver. Their prices appear to be competitive in those 2 metals.

Then I tried their phone call but got the call back few hours later. And I saw the website explanation to check how much tax is applying, need to process. So I processed to see the tax but the order just went thru without any notification about tax. Then I called right away to cancel, cause the order was just by accident. And they are saying about cancellation fee and the FEE is more than USD120. Haha.. How nice system. I will write this review as many as I can. I wish there is no more victim like me.

I am a long time collector of Gold and Silver bullion but I usually purchase locally, in store. Given the current shutdown I had to resort to online purchases. To say my experience was bad with JM Bullion, would be an understatement. They sent me the wrong items and to make matters worse, the items they sent me were very damaged.
I ordered $100 FMV 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars from JM Bullion. They sent me 174 Kennedy Half Dollars and 26 random other silver coins. The 26 other silver coins were buried amongst the bag of Kennedy Half Dollars. Had I not gone through the entire bag myself (which I am now really glad I did), coin by coin, I would have no idea they had sent me the wrong items. The fact that the replacement junk silver was in awful condition and some of the coins (like the photo attached) are so damaged I can barely make out what coin it is or the date it was produced (it looks like a liberty half dollar but it is so damaged it's hard to tell) just makes things that much worse.
When I asked them to make the situation right, they told me they sent me something of equivalent value so that should be ok. To me, that's like saying "well, you bought a car, so we sent you a car. It's a different car, but it’s worth about the same." I bought a specific item. I want that specific item. If I wanted just "any" silver product I would have purchased JM Bullion's product: "silver coins, varied condition, any mint," but I did not. I bought 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars.
You can't just replace items with other items and hope the customer doesn't notice. That is not acceptable. It's also deceptive to stick those coins into a bag with other coins without telling the customer. At minimum you should let the customer know that what they ordered is not what they are getting and give them the option to back out.
I tried to call the support line at JM Bullion and after sitting on hold for an hour I gave up. Via email, they offered me a $10 coupon or told me I can send the junk silver back for a refund "Minus the Appreciate Of Its Value" putting all the responsibility on me to rectify the situation. The bottom line is JM Bullion sent me the wrong items. They slipped random coins into a bag of Kennedy Half Dollars and hoped I wouldn't notice. There are a lot of places to buy Bullion. I would not recommend purchasing from JM Bullion unless you want the potential to receive the wrong, damaged items, no accountability once you recognize something is wrong and then poor customer service when you try to follow up.

JM Bullion did me right. They first botched the order. I know it was overwhelming demand in March. They did finally send the right package, didn’t charge me anymore, it just took a lot longer than I thought. For a while there, it was in claims. I was unhappy. So, I won’t give them 5, I’ll give them a 4-star because they made it right. A 5-star would have been if there was no issue whatsoever, and they just sent it out without any question. But I had to question it and do a bad review first. But I’ll give them 4-star now. Thanks.

I ordered a box of silver on March 13, 2020. The package was lost and the company is only willing to reimburse my payment. Not send out the lost order. Is this because the pricing is now 30% higher?? Maybe. Come to think of it, they could run a scam on “lost products“ and hide behind the policy of being able to return funds or the order...??? This used to be a good company. I placed an order a month ago while the market was cool of $1700 worth of gold. They decided to ship my gold to an address different then what I entered. They tried to tell me that PayPal put in the address (in which PayPal never had that address on file and I triple checked my mailing address was correct before I submitted).
I contacted the place it was shipped to and those people returned the package to sender. JM Bullion then contacted me asking if I want a refund or reshipped. Obviously I want it reshipped since the item has now Increase in value to a worth of $1960. Instead jm bullion decides to Refund me $1700 and tells me to purchase again if I want (at $1960). So they stole $260 from me plus I had the headache of emailing them multiple times telling them I want my item SHIPPED and calling them multiple times (on hold for hours) telling them I want my item SHIPPED. They always seemed to be typing notes and thought they were going to do the right thing. But they never did. So upset!!

I am a customer of JM Bullion for 7 years. I placed 2 orders on March 13 and March 15 for Gold and silver and provided them my bank acct # for the ACH payment. They sent me multiple emails stating my payment failed. I went back and provided them a different bank account number. They charged both the accounts for same orders. When I saw my both accounts on hold, I called cust service, waited 2 hours-spoke to a lady who had no access to any order info. She noted down my complaint and said she will email the payment dept. She refused to let me explain to them. Nothing happened. I had to ask my bank to stop one of the payments to avoid double payment. So, after receiving full payment, they cancelled my order and charged me market loss.
At this point, they had my full payment, refused to ship metals and billed me market loss. No one wanted to speak with me or understand the issue. I lodged a complaint through BBB immediately. Next morning, after receiving email from BBB, they accepted their fault!!! Offered to refund my money. I insisted on getting my metals or they pay me market loss. They shipped the metals. I shouldn't have to go through all this pain. A good company always tries to resolve an issue, win the confidence of customer and reassure him. I saw none of these things at JM Bullion.

ISSUE: Cancelled order after receiving payment. Done without authorization. On 3/12/2020, I placed an order and chose pay by check. I mailed the check. On Monday 3/16/2020, I tried to change the payment method and it failed. Sent 2 emails saying payment was in the mail, don't cancel. No reply. Three days later they cancelled the order, 3/19 and charged me for market loss. However on 3/18, they received mailed payment. Verified. Called customer service and spoke to a rep. After researching issue, bottom line once an order is cancelled that's it. They would issue a refund minus the mkt loss. I called next day and verified this. I said charge my CC. A week later same rep calls me back to verify how to refund. I say charge cc. Now 3/31 I find out they electronically refunded amt and kept the mkt loss amount even after I said twice charge the cc. Advice is: Do not use this company. Not interested in doing what's right. Only interested making money.

I set up a transaction to wire JM Bullion approximately $5,000. I went to the bank (Chase) the following Monday to complete the wire. The banker told me that the information I was given by JM did not match, it was a different bank in a different location. Chase advised me not to complete the wire. After several days of waiting on hold for a JM associate I finally received a call back. They gave me the same routing information and we're unwilling to allow a different method of payment. A few days after this they charged my credit card nearly $600.00 (because silver went down).
I contacted JM numerous times to try and find an amicable solution. I was willing to pay the full price agreed upon but not to send a wire for $5,000 to God knows where. We are in the midst of a pandemic in the USA right now and JM is taking full advantage of it. I found an alternative online and everything went smoothly. Shame on you JM, you are twisting a national emergency to your advantage. I hope to see you brought to justice. I will do my part to make that happen.

You placed and order for precious metals at a specific price, didn't pay for it, and are now upset that you were charged fees because the market moved against you? This is standard practice across all precious metals retailers. You are locking in a price and guaranteeing payment for it. We un-hedge it at that time so those losses are real, not just some fee.

I placed an order on March 24th around 12:02 am for 90 silver eagles and 3 1/2 ounce gold eagles, they debited my credit card but sent no e-mail confirmation. I called and was on hold for nearly 2 hours to be told that the order could not be found however they were able to debit my credit card. I was advised that I could repurchase with new money at a higher price silver and gold from them again, I am furious and these guys are scamming the market. DO NOT USE JM BULLION.

Never a problem buying from them, the problems never end selling back. I couldn't get ahold of buy back department until the next day, had there been someone to answer the phone or call back I would have got an extra 50 cents per ounce. The rep could not find the RCM 10 Oz premium bar price, so she quoted me for various bars (lowest) price, and said that it would be fixed when they received them, it wasn't. They wanted my credit card number as I would be responsible for any loss that they incurred by me changing my mind or delay in Shipping. I shipped priority on Thursday, it arrived on Saturday but they received it on Monday. Whole process took two weeks and an additional 3 phone calls, buy back manager John promised that price on the RCM bars would be corrected, it wasn't. AND they charged me 30.00 to send me a check via priority mail! They are great to buy from, but there are much better options for selling.

Original review: 1/8/2020I did put an order for Multiple 1 oz Gold coins and bars for my son's birthday to be delivered directly to his house. The order was supposed to ship after the check clears. The money was taken from my bank account within one day after they received the check by registered mail. Ten (10) days later the order was not shipped yet. LATER (after calling them) I received an e mail that my order was shipping. Then the shipping was delayed another 5 days for no reason. My son received the order well past his birthday.
Today I did visit with my son and I looked at the coins and Gold bars to discover scratches and very obvious blemishes on some of them (Supposedly NEW). One Gold Bar in a hard plastic protective cover was obviously blemished. I could not open the plastic cover without the risk of breaking it. I am really wondering if it is real Gold. Another gold Bar has a thin layer of plastic covering it but partly coming off the card around the Bar. Loose coins in an open plastic envelop are obviously scratched.

After reading a few other reviews I have to add in. I have been a customer of JM Bullion since 2015 and am very happy. I just added it up from my order files and I have purchased $12,671.75 worth of silver, gold, and copper from them. I have not regretted a single purchase. A few items weren't available right away and I have known ahead of time that they would be sent after a certain date. This appears to be common practice from several other metal sites online. I found JM bullion in Oct 2019 and am completely satisfied with the product, price, customer service and shipping. The only complaint I have is my bank account says, "Stop. You are spending too much money." Lol! There is truly nothing better in the silver market than holding the mint rolls of stackables. I have bought off that giant site online that a million people sell on and have always enjoyed getting my silver but I have never gotten as excited as I do now because I know I'm the first to own what I bought along with JM's weekly sales. Large variety of products silver and gold is my preference, silver statues and colorized coins mostly for gifts and putting sets together for family. I really like the feature of wanting to know how many they have of a particular coin or anything else - I always type in the quantity box 9999 usually if there is less a box will appear and it will tell you how many they have on hand. I have purchased from JM Bullion a few times over the last few months, diversifying my portfolio. Their prices are fair, or better then most competitors with lower "free shipping" minimums. Although the price break tiers tend to be generic with across the board. During checkout they tease you with lower pricing via synced bank accounts, and ACH payments. Having attempted this several times on all my transactions, it does not work. I bank with Wells Fargo, a nationwide reputable bank, not some hole in the wall financial establishment, and it still did not work. So I will forced to use credit or debit cards, costing me an additional 3.5% on my purchase which totaled out to another bar of silver.
On my last purchase, I opted to obtain verified account status, had to do additional steps to verify my Wells Fargo account via "micro-deposits" which took a couple business days, meanwhile I watched metal prices to see if this was going to cost me more or less. I got my deposits, verified them on my JM Bullion login account, my order was made and paid for, shipped and received with out a hitch. This past 48 hours I logged in to make another purchase, with the same verified account, only to discover I have to go through the ENTIRE micro-deposits process all over again.
None of my "verified" information was saved at all, leading me to email them through their customer portal. I got a generic reply email from Kathy offering a mere 10$ coupon for my trouble after hemorrhaging the 40$ credit card fee. I have taken my business elsewhere since then. In synopsis, their platform is clunky, seems a little glitchy. It will end up costing you more, even though they tease you with multiple "deals" none of the bank account linking options worked for me, save for the micro-deposits, and I ended up paying the 3.5% credit card fee anyways. I would opt for the micro-deposits options if it actually saved the info and I wouldn't have to gamble with the waiting period when metal prices are in flux during that period. They easily could have gotten 3 or 4 stars, but my overall experience was bleak, 2 seemed most appropriate.

I do show that you sent us the incorrect routing number on the last order, which is outside of our control, and so for a future order we'd need you to enter your credentials again, but aside from that we also accept paper checks and bank wires for that same cash rate.

The worse experience I had in a long time. Was promised my item would ship in time for it to get here before Christmas. Just found out, and that's a day before scheduled delivery, that item they sold me a week ago was oversold and I will not be getting it. This is something that could easily be communicated to me long time ago so I have enough time to replace it....instead of feeding BS that my order was shipped. I created an order recently, and a few items I inadvertently added to my shopping cart. I paid, and when I got the receipt noticed that some of the items were incorrectly added. I emailed customer support within 5 mins of ordering. I did not receive a response back until the next day saying that I would need to pay a $15 fee to cancel those items. Then they will offer any assistance to help me shipping the items back. Also their "free shipping" took 7 full days to get to me which is ridiculous. I'll put my precious metals business and tell all my friends to go elsewhere.

At that stage, your package sits with thousands of other boxes and we have to ask an employee to dig through them all to find yours. Terrible customer service! I placed an order for 20 American Eagles on August 27, 2019 they cashed my paper check within their review time on 9/4/19 shipped on 9/10/19. Called the company several times about my order and didn't hear back from them until December 10, 2019 when their customer service rep called and told me that the PO shipped them back to JM.
The customer service rep didn't appear to be trained properly and a little dense. Her name was Lydia. Lydia asked me did I still want my Eagles or did I want a refund? I asked her could they ship them overnight. She said no they can't then she says we'll ship them for free. What kind of BS is this? My order was already free shipping originally!
I asked her could I speak with her supervisor whose name is Donna. Donna won't give out her last name which is highly unethical for a business of this size. I asked Donna could they at least make things right and reduce the spot price for my inconvenience, Donna says, "No sir. We can't do that but we can refund your money." What stupidity, the spot price is 1.20 lower than what it was when I bought them. If they gave me 50 cents off it would have made me happy. Now they'll put them back up for sale at today's spot which is substantially lower than October.
Of course they blamed everything on the Post Office and didn't even try to work with me. I've bought a substantial amount of metals from JM in the last 7 months but I'm finished with JM Bullion. I'm not one to put out negative reviews without a lot of thought on the damage that they can cause. JM Bullion is just one example of big business today TOO DAMN BIG with poor customer service and they don't give a damn. I also noticed that JM Bullion hired one of those bogus review companies to make sure that they sort their reviews shopper approved, what a scam! Well JM, you've pushed me back to APMEX or one of the many other metals companies that compete with you.
