My experience with JG Wentworth's debt relief program has truly been a lifesaver. A couple years ago, my husband was diagnosed with an incurable illness that left him unable to work. Almost overnight, I was put in an extremely stressful situation of trying to hold everything together and manage our bills on my income alone. When I reached out to JGWentworth about a loan and explained our situation, the customer service representative was so understanding and asked if I knew about their debt relief program. She walked me through every step and made the process so understandable and seamless. They were able to negotiate down the balances with my creditors and my monthly payments are manageable within our budget. My experience with JGWentworth has been nothing less than exceptional.

Our original contact point was very helpful and a great guide. Now I feel we are out there on our own floating in space. Calling in some somewhat helpful but the answers seem vague and non-committal. We also realized that some of our cardholders would give us the same "offer" as JGW without $1,000s in fees. I believe an individual could do most of this on their own. Our situation is unique so I appreciate their assistance.

Working on getting out of debt, wondering if this is worth its time, money and effort. Needed to stop one payment to pay my one late Mortgage payment, they say it can’t be done so now my Mortgage payment is even later. So instead of helping you, they make it worse for you. So my first impression with JG Wentworth is not so good at this time.

A company with a debt has sent settlements for month. JG has refused to act on them or respond to my repeated emails. They claimed I would be debt free in 48 months from two debts. Common sense says that if one debt has been settled, some funds from my monthly payments would be put into their “savings” thing on the client portal to catch me up on the other debt, but no. I’m completely lost as to what is going on with it because no one will email me back. I’ve never felt more swindled.

At first, I was skeptical about joining the program but now I see the strong benefits of letting J.G. Wentworth work for you. I also liked the way they handled my account by negotiating life-changing and debt-saving deals to get the best offers. Very happy with the results of this program! Thank You, J.G. Wentworth!

Anyone I have dealt with at JG Wentworth has been professional and genuine in their work concerning helping me. Starting in to this type of help was uneasy to start but with the detailed explanations and words of reassurance, I moved forward with the help and have been very pleased with the results with JG Wentworth.

Had helped me to settle my debt from my original loans. Very professional and updating me regularly with their transactions, how my creditors had agreed with their offers, always responding back with my questions and sending updates, monthly statements, offering assistance if I needed it. A great help with my financial problems.

I like everything and grateful for all the help. What would make you 5 stars to me if you provided more frequent updates on the status of the case. I have not received updates since March and had to call once to get updates. Again, I appreciate all the help you have given me.

I feel a sense of relief knowing that I have the support of JG and that my Debt will eventually decrease. If I have any questions I can always call. I have been totally satisfied with my experience with JGW. The process is a bit long, but that is not in the control of JGW since the creditors have to agree with the negotiations, but in general I have been totally satisfied with my program and I hope to be totally debt free by 2025. Everything is going very smoothly and I’m relaxing more now that they are being paid! The credit card companies are not sending anything through the mail anymore and I am not receiving that many telephone calls anymore. I have recommended to many of my friends and relatives who have credit cards and etc. to look into JG Wentworth!

Your communication is terrible! No one will tell us what is going on with our account. Everyone just looks and says, "Oh you should have already started negotiations but haven’t. Hmmm, not sure why?" This was supposed to be a few month process and it’s been almost a year and put credit in a complete mess! We wouldn’t have done this had you had been honest about what this does to a person's credit and life. We got approved by this credit company that’s supposed to spread the process along and yet nothing has happened!

I was frightened at how out of control I had become with my credit cards, and it got so bad I couldn't make my payments, let alone reduce them. In a moment of blind trust, I called JG Wentworth, and fell into their very supportive hands. The folks I interact with are warm and intelligent and efficient. I feel safe, and they're helping me get on top of the situation. I shouldn't have waited as long as I did to call them.

Not sure when and who was taking care of my consolidation, I get some emails but I don't understand what's on or in it. Is JG Wentworth still handling my consolidation of my bills, if so who can I speak with to see if, they have accepted the set amount of cash to pay off my creditors. Thank, Wendell **.

What I don’t like about JG Wentworth is that they pay themselves first after getting a settlement with one account which means the other accounts are accumulating late charges which by the time they do settle those accounts it could be $1000 more which is not right. I understand people have to make money, but there’s no reason to have to pay your full amount prior to settling the next account.

The communication is great thru phone or email.. This is an awesome company, and it has helped me tremendously.. I would recommend them, to anybody that needs financial help.. No matter what it is.. They work with you, on payments and keeps you updated on everything that happens. Thanks so much..

I attempted to get assistance in locating a total of $741.36 in payments made that was supposed to be refunded, but was not. I am still awaiting a reply from February. I was hospitalized and could not make payments. The account was closed October 7th, 2021. The last payment attempt was 10/5/21. This payment would not go through as the account was not funded. The funds up to that point were not refunded and the money is still missing.

This organization have proven to me that there are solutions to debt, I was struggling so very much paying my credit cards with the interest rates climbing and no end in sight to pay them! JG Wentworth stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun for and I would recommend these people to everyone!

Promise the moon and stars before you sign up then they don’t seem to work hard enough in your favor. You refuse an offer and they keep sending the same ridiculous offer time and time again. Seems more like they are working with the credit card companies and not the clients.

I am extremely grateful to JGW for saving me. The initial phone conversation was a bit scary as I was in unfamiliar territory but the rep was extremely detailed and patient with guiding me through the steps and accurately analyzing my situation. I am slowly but surely getting rid of my debt. JGW is in consistent communication with me and helps me understand each step and each debt they are able to pay off. My credit is utterly destroyed after they told me initially that it would be repaired in months (that was a lie) and I am now facing 4 law suits from credit card companies for following their instructions. I reached out to two of the creditors and they told me that JG wentworth never reached out to them in regards to the program. Poor communication also from them.

Your rep who sold me on your service was quite cordial and accommodating, but I’ve had to ask and interpret any information I’ve received since then. For example, I’d only been asked to sign 2 settlement agreements, yet the people to whom you’re so anxious to sell my loan say you’ve settled 4? By the way, if those are paid off, shouldn’t my credit be slowly improving? Nobody tells me.

There are still credit card companies that haven't been reached out to by you guys.... which is hurting me. I'm wondering why I'm paying so much and why I've been paying this long if all the credit card companies haven't been reached out to? It would be great if someone would reach out to me about this situation, thank you.

With the fee structure in debt negotiation, you end up saving about $0. You just increase the amount of time you make payments and lower your monthly payment amount. Additionally, you WILL get dinged on your credit HARD. So if spreading out payments is that valuable to you... Go for it. I was taken in by a charming sales man who gave me his contact info then promptly disappeared and never responded to my concerns. He pitched quite a tale about saving money, only for another far less charming person to admit to me that the fee basically makes up for what you are no longer paying to your creditor. Would never use this again, can't wait to finish payments.

The program had been great but logging in to see the status of progress is almost impossible. An app should be created for users to access information. Everything is a bit confusing and it's a lengthy process once you are logged in. Other than this issue, the program and customer service has been great.

I called over 2 weeks ago to find out what my balance was because I wanted to pay off the program. I never got a return phone call. I then called to find out what I owned my creditor to pay them off and same deal. No one returns my calls.

I'm mostly happy with my service except they are slow with negotiating with Credit One. I've been with my Wentworth for a while, but I'm still getting calls from credit one and I wish them to stop. I want them to aggressively start negotiating with credit one as soon as possible.

Starting out everything sounded great, when signing and looking over everything I was told it would take about 4-6 months to get settlements started. I'm in month 9 and most have settlements which is good, however, 2 remaining accounts were not and were charged off which isn't great. I keep getting calls about New Credit America to take a loan, but I wouldn't want to take a loan for only 80% of the accounts needing settlement. It would be great if JGW would at least communicate how things are going throughout the process and update on why things aren't settling, as the longer this goes on the longer I won't be able to rebuild credit.

The customer service representative was very helpful and professional and resolved my issue. The representative answered all my questions and provided prompt and courteous service. I look forward to working with the company now and in the future, and the customer service department is an important asset to the company.

I keep getting settlement offers that I have to agree to and settlement agreements I am required to sign but nothing ever happens. The account never gets settled and is always still in negotiation. I don’t understand why I am signing an agreement if the lender hasn’t even agreed to the settlement. I have sent several emails with no response and called and spoke with someone who seemed as confused as I was???

I am very happy with the service I have received and they are so caring and get things done asap! Customer service always answers my questions in a timely manner. They get tasks done quickly too! I would recommend this company to anyone! Give them a call and they will help you out!

JG Wentworth is a great option for those needing some help. I appreciate all they have and continue to do for me and my family. It is a process. The communication could be better. This had been my only concern. Hope it improves. But the program is worth it! Give it a go.

Called and spoke one of the representative customer service inquiring of the Debt Program that I had signed up for back in October, asking when and how long would the other debt such as credit card is going to settled? I mentioned it has been over six months, he stated that 2 of my debts are settled and he mentioned if I would like to get it faster he will referred me to the ir debt business partner to sign up for, I mentioned I am not interested and I just would like to know when and how long my credit card debt be settled. He didn't even answer my question and just said, "You have a nice day"....

Like how everything is going. Satisfied with the outcome. Feeling good about the way things are going and like to have a better peace of mind and being able to relax a little more about everything is going. We are in a very good place and a lot of things are off our minds.

Always polite and friendly with exceptional knowledge and service. Would definitely recommend. I Was offered a loan to clean up my credit sooner but declined as I am older and didn’t want to carry the loan out as far as they wanted. But they were ok with that. So that was a big help.

I have had a great experience with you guys. Your professionalism and listening goes beyond expertise. All of the people that I have spoke to have been friendly and have resolved any problems that I have had. Looking forward to many more conversations. We are in the process to negotiate a Barclays CC. I was offered a loan to help facilitate the negotiation. After being approved for the loan of $17k, I was told the settlement offered was $5k. So I didn't need a $17k loan. I looked at the loan terms and you were including the already settled debt from my Discover card, plus the fees that were coming from the new settlement with Barclays and the Barclays settlement as well. It did not make sense to take on a high interest rate loan and put the ALREADY SETTLED Discover debt plus your fees, which now I would have to pay interest on? That's double dipping.

Worst mistake I ever made was letting you guys "suppose" to pay off my credit cards. I don’t believe you have done anything. I am very disappointed. Would not recommend you to anyone! I’m very upset.!!! My cards has been charged off and I didn’t expect that. Thought you were going to pay them the hard earned money I sent you!

Everything seemed to be going smoothly at the beginning but here I am after 8 months of payments and my emails to my contact - and customer service - are going unanswered. Other than the canned "how are we doing?" I don't seem to get any communication from them. They have settled a couple of my accounts as they said they would, and are dealing with a legal issue but a bit more communication and a response would be nice.

They are very nice and helpful and suited my needs. And when I need to make a change they are always available for me. I would recommend this company and their program to others that may need help. Payments are adjustable to my availability and date to my pay period.

I'm almost halfway with the program. So far, it's good. It's making one payment better than making five or six accounts to make payments.

I would NEVER recommend your company/program to anyone. The introduction to the program was not fully disclosed. When I signed on based on info I was given, I had good credit. I asked if my credit would nose dive I was told it would increase. Took forever for settlements - been 8 months and still not all settled. Totallly disgusted.

Inconsistent timing on withdrawal of funds: dates and times. Always waiting for it to come out. Otherwise I just call in to schedule it early and the support staff is a pleasure to work with and easy.

I appreciate how J.G. Wentworth has helped me cleaned up the credit card debt that was weighing me down. As my credit card interest kept going up even with regular payments, I was paying more and more with no resolution in sight. J.G. I'm done with JG Wentworth. They helped me out the best they could. They kept me up-to-date on everything. Every step of the way, they answered all my questions and it was a good experience. I would use them again if I ever needed them.

I thought JG Wentworth can lend me a loan because I wanna pay off some of my credit cards. But when I spoke with the rep, he said there's a program that can help me with lowering the interest and pay less than normally I pay. So I said, "Okay, send me some paperworks." My husband and I reviewed it, and we agreed that we're gonna do it. From then on, we signed the paperwork and sent it back to JG Wentworth online. I'm continuously paying every month. I'm waiting for the credit card that I put in there to accept the offer. They update me and they also ask me if I have any questions. They always send me emails. So if I have a question, I just email or call them. They're always accommodating. Every time I call, they answer my question and I can talk to somebody. I don't have to wait for a return call.

Cleaning up many of my high credit card balances. Starting to see resolution to overdue credit cards. My stress level is at a minimal and harassing phone calls are slowly. Very happy I chose this organization to help me. Thank you so much for the fast knowledgeable outcome.

I'm done with JG. I've already stopped the payments. But I still have 1 creditor trying to sue me because they won't work with JG. But I never had any problem with customer service. They tried to help me out when I was low on funds. They reduced it temporarily until I got caught up.

I thought I would get more communication on the settlements but I don't get much information on what's going on unless I sign in and look where it's at which I appreciate that part of the communication. Although This may be normal and I've never been in this position before.

People should go with JG Wentworth. They were very pleasant to work with. The reps were nice and didn't make you feel like you're crap because you're in debt like a lot of people do. They were very attentive and caring, on top of things, and get back with you quickly. I got a loan and I'm already out of the program. It worked very well.

The J.G. Wentworth program has been tremendously helpful in addressing my debt concerns. Enrolling in the program and seeing the successful payoff negotiations has relieved a significant amount of financial stress and anxiety. While I still have two (2) years to go to complete all settlements, knowing J.G. Wentworth is working on my behalf makes life bearable again.

JG Wentworth took care of everything and working with them got rid of all those bills that we had and condensed everything down into one monthly payment. They got everything reduced and all the interest knocked off. It is wonderful and helping out a lot. Everybody is very knowledgeable and they work with you and make sure that you understand everything. They're just great.

I was scared to take the program at first. When I first talked to the agent, I wasn't behind on any bills but I was only making minimum payments. Other things happened during that time period where I knew I wasn't going to be able to keep up with the payments alone. I was no longer working and having the income that I previously had. That was gonna make me fall behind so I went ahead and tried JG Wentworth. It worked out for my benefit once I saw what the agent was saying initially.

The program is totally different from what I was told over the phone when I agreed to be part of your plan. I was never told that you are using my money to slowly pay my debtors. So in the meantime my credit is totally damaged.

I wanted to keep my credit score up a little bit and not kill it completely. So, I kept my smaller credit cards. JG Wentworth took my big ones and took care of it. I chose to do the quicker one that they do so the resolution is faster and it doesn't taint my credit so hard. But they set me up with that too. So, that was nice. The program was painless and quick. It was just answering questions and sending in some documents. I can contact my person through JG Wentworth so if I have any questions, I can just call him. My credit is not that great but it's not as bad as it would have been. And the program has helped me out because I don't have to spend as much money monthly. A lot of my debt was erased, which was nice because it wasn't even mine to begin with. JG Wentworth is not a risk. You can get your stuff taken care of. My mom went through them too, at one point.

I have been really pleased with how JG Wentworth has handle my debt. They keep you in the loop on every process, so you know where you are at. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to work with the group of people. They are very helpful and get the job done.

Updated on 11/06/2023: I'm not happy right now with JG Wentworth. I've been with them for over a year and a half, making my payments, but I got a letter that I'm being sued by one of the patrons that they promised that they would deal with. They had said that it would take a while and it's gonna take time to rebuild what I had to let go. But I had good credit in the beginning. I was making my payments on time even though my balance was high. They made me stop all of it to go with their program to make payments and pay them off. We had gotten into a hardship and we have depleted all our savings to help our daughter who became ill. Now, I have a lawsuit against me. I had to fax them the lawsuit papers and have to wait to hear back, hoping I don't have to go to court.

JG Wentworth has been awesome taking care of my debt situation. And relieving a lot of stress on my life financial situation. They been there every step of the way, and kept me informed of the process. Thank you so much. You have been a life saver.

Y'all have been great. I'm very satisfied with all you have done for me. Thank you very much. I would have never got those credit cards paid in my life time. Since the economy has got so expensive I could barely pay the minimum payment because interest rates went up so high. I was getting nowhere but further in debt. I reached out to them as our bills had gotten out of control due to loss of income. They put us in a plan where they would obtain a settlement from the creditor for us and pay them. We are on a monthly payment play with JG which is manageable and fits into our budget. When we've contacted in the past they have been very courteous and friendly. I had an awesome experience with JG Wentworth. I was able to call and talk to a real person. I wasn't put on hold on different things for long times. I had a direct contact number with the representative that I was dealing with. They were very well at communicating with me and sending me documentation through my email and other methods. I'm done with their processes. They did my debt things. They worked with the lenders and lowered my debt. I also had to get a loan. Everything was good.

The program has helped and it was an easy process. It wasn't hard to have to try to reach out to get information about the program and to get things going. Communication was great. If I had any questions, then I would just send out an email and someone would return my call that same day. Everything was good. Now, I'm using the other company where they give you the loan, but it's not with JG Wentworth anymore.

JGW always kept me updated with my account, either by phone or email. Whenever I contacted JGW, any question I have, it was answered right away or if they did not have one, the associate ask and find for me. Thank you.

Very dissatisfied with this company. It’s been eight months. I made a payments already. Nothing has been settled after promising me three months that it usually settles the first two months. They keep in contact with you and then they don’t call you anymore.

I will give zero stars. Doing this program is worse than filing bankruptcy. This has destroyed my credit and was a horrible mistake. I will tell everyone that can hear me to stay away from your program. I was also pressured into applying for a loan. Which I was denied for.

It was scary letting the credit cards go so long unpaid. But now that most have been settled and the payments are easily met it’s been a good choice. The phone constantly ringing has finally stopped. I am grateful for everything you have done for us so far!

I’m enjoying the type of consolation for my needs, but it’s not happening as it was explained, I’m still getting lots of calls, it’s like the process I started with has been pushed over to a secondary group, I ask for the representative I started with and they tell me he starts the process and then hands it down to a secondary group, when I started he claimed he would be there anytime I needed him. So I guess it’s a dog eat dog world, other than that, it’s better than it was.

My experience with JG Wentworth has not been what I thought it was gonna be in the beginning. It ruined my credit score really badly. They only settled two cases. A credit score in the United States is such a huge thing. I can't get any credit cards and the thing is I'm gonna pay them. It's not like I want bankruptcy, but it ruined my credit cards. My husband and I did it. Right now, I have a baby. I need to get another car. I can't even do that because my credit score is so screwed up because it's taking so long for them to settle this. Wentworth told me it was gonna take maybe six months at the most for me not to pay the payments, and then they were gonna settle. They didn’t really start doing anything until the fourth month when I called and asked why it is taking this long. They told me that I had to not pay those so they can be able to do something. I'm already going on 11 months with this.

They have been so kind and helpful to me. When I first entered the program I was nervous about the whole process but they are so supportive and helpful. Would highly recommend. I’m so happy that I decided to go with them.

The only complaint I have is not knowing if the call is from you or a creditor. I wish I could see your name across the phone. I never know if the call is from a creditor or not and I am so tired of not knowing what to say.

It’s taking forever to come to a conclusion with all of our clients and then you want to make a loan to finance the rest of our business, and we just can’t afford it. We want to get this resolved and get our finances back together so that we can get back to normal.

Definitely would recommend to everyone. Took all the pressure off my shoulders and I could breathe easily again. Just wish I had done it sooner. Too high of the rate in every 2 weeks payment. The company is trying their best to get my debt resolved so far. Just too high of the charge and is not helping with my financial hardship at especially at this time.

They take too long to negotiate with the companies owed, if I had known that, I would have done it myself. I thought that with you it would be easier. They do not communicate with the person to tell him how the case is going.

They have been great in working with me. I have been concerned about the last credit card to get on the program, but I do understand there is a process. They have always responded quickly to any questions I have had. I really appreciate all they are doing for me.

They started good but passing time you don't see any progress. They just collecting money. I signed couple deals, they discard it and try to get you in a loan but is the biggest Interest ever. What we can do, we already sign the papers

The way they communicated wasn't to my liking. They sent emails without confirmations. When I told them about that, they said, "We only do it through email." I said, "That's too bad because I don't receive emails. You're gonna have to call me." I don't need to miss an email from them and have them say they sent it. After that, they tried. They wanna make me happy so they just do what I ask them to do.

I do not know if I have saved very much money from the original debts which JGW negotiated since the negotiations are not from the original debts owed but from the current debt which includes the interest fees and penalties plus the amount of the payment to JGW to "settle" the accounts for me. Looking over the most recent report of the settlements lead me to believe that perhaps I am not saving nearly as much as I was originally told I would save over the full length of the process.

The program worked fine. They were professional and very informative. They were easy to talk to. I got the whole part of the way through it and I was able to secure a loan and pay off the rest that I owed.

JG Wentworth provided excellent service if I had questions or concerns. Their program was great. It was a way to try to reduce the debt that I had and I’m pretty much done with it. Instead of owing each company a portion at a time, I consolidated all into just owing one amount and I tried to find something that would fit the budget schedule that I had set out. I was able to track my progress through their website and it’s a simple grasp. I'm in software engineering so the website itself was easy to find your tools and accessibilities. JG Wentworth speaks for themselves. You see them everywhere and how they're lawyers that helped people through settlement, lawsuits and things of that nature. So it shows that they're reliable and they know what they're doing.

I had to tell the reps to stop calling and texting me because they were checking in on me a little bit too much. But that's better than not at all. The communication has been good. I just have to approve everything that they get a settlement on. Sometimes though, I have to tell them to take the money that I've sent in and to apply at places, or they need to start paying off a certain debt that I'm trying to pay off. I'm still working with JG Wentworth and it's been okay.

JG Wentworth’s reps kept me informed on all changes and procedures. They were very helpful and informative.

Dealing with JG Wentworth I have had a great weight lifted off my shoulders. Anyone who has called have been very courteous and helpful. If I had known about the help with my finances that I could get through JG Wentworth, I would have signed up sooner than I did.

This service has been great. The only problem is that I was having to use this service, which means I couldn't take care of my credit myself. Thanks for lying to me at the beginning of signing up saying the entire process would only take up to 6 months, and then never reaching out to majority of my creditors for a settlement after 11 months and now I’m being sued and having to show up to court for 3 credit cards :) Oh and no one reaching out to me from this stupid company to help with the legal representation I was promised. Huge mistake choosing J.G.W.

My only concern is the proactive response to my emails and it seems to take a suuuper long time for JGW to contact all my creditors in the time frame specified. Otherwise I guess I need to deal with awful credit which could have been avoided if proactive in settling with all creditors more quickly

I’ve found my experience to be very positive! My counselor Shawn was easy to talk to and he was very patient with all my questions! They have settled I believe, six accounts in a short amount of time! When I asked to have another account added to the program it was no problem at all! I highly recommend JG Wentworth!

They charge too much for what little they do... I would have expected a company with the name JG Wentworth would have better success.

Everything has been great and yesterday I sent my bank statements to the loan company given to me through your company. I also included my pay statements cause I figured they would be asking for them next. I’m waiting to hear from them.

They made it very easy and everything's been working great so far. JG Wentworth kept me in the loop and notified me of everything that's been going on.

They were honest with me and they answered all the questions that I had. It was very clear what they were going to do and what they intended to do. I was never in the dark about anything. They did everything they said they would do so I was very happy with their service. I was very satisfied with everything that I had to deal with and I wouldn't change anything.

The reps told me what was gonna happen, how it's happening and kept in touch with me. I appreciated that. JG Wentworth was wonderful. The payment plan worked perfectly. They asked me what my income was and I told them and we worked out through that. What they offered me was great. I get a text when it's about time for my payment to be taken out and any time I had any questions or concerns or needed to change the date for some reason or another, they were very helpful with it. I'd recommend them to anybody. I was in the program for almost a year and then, I went with this other place, which is affiliated with JG.

In the beginning, the program was vague but when it changed, it went okay. I just knew JG Wentworth was working on it and they did. There was one time I called because one of the accounts got deactivated that wasn't supposed to but it was just part of their process. So, I'm still working on that. Making payments was automatic, so I didn't have to make them myself. they just took it out the on the days that I got paid. So, it worked out well. I would recommend JG. The program helped a lot but I’m not in it anymore. I was able to take out a loan to cover it.

Initially, I was seeking a loan to consolidate my debt, and then I got into JG Wentworth's program to assist with paying off my debt. Working with their reps was a good experience. Every time I called, they answered. They were very helpful with understanding the process. The program worked great for me. It gave me a better understanding of how debt works, using your credit and your credit score. I would definitely recommend the program. It moved very fast and assisted with getting my debt clear.

I feel that you are dragging your feet on this. I work with loans and do know that when we settle it only takes a day on the settlement amount. I now have a court date on being sued which I never thought would happen. I am very dissatisfied with this whole process.

Very good so far. Reps have been v helpful and knowledgeable. Hoping Citi will negotiate to bring about a solution. JG W has been v helpful. As a retiree I hope to settle this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Wishing JGW negotiators the best of luck in doing so.

I am very satisfied with the services of JG Wentworth. They have exceeded my expectations. They have settled almost 80% of my debt in less than 8 months. My experience with them has made me realize that I made the best experience.

They have helped me settle and pay my credit card bills down in a timely manner and get them off my credit report. I would recommend them to anyone that has credit card bills and are behind and need to get them off your credit score.

I feel like responding to text messages needs work. And email messages sometimes go unanswered. Other than that the service is very good when responsive. JG Wentworth has a good thing going if they focused on customer relation. I get other offers all the time, I don’t want to regret going with JG.

JG Wentworth looked at what I had then gave me options explaining to me what would be the best way to do it. I was able to call the person I had as a representative and talk to him about my concerns. However, JG Wentworth switched me over to another company that charged me even more. They said that the other company would pay my debt off together then I could pay them. I liked working with JG Wentworth better than who I'm working with now 'cause I was able to just call the person I was familiar with.

Everything was smooth when I enrolled with JG Wentworth and they told me from the beginning it was gonna take my credit. I had gone back up to a 650 credit score and then, it dropped me down to a 420. So now, I'm trying to get back up. The loan I got afterwards since my credit was tanked was a high interest loan so that sucked. But overall, it's a decent program I’m in, especially if you already have bad credit. It just sucked because I had my credit already getting up high. But if I didn't do it, I probably would've been overflowing with debt. We got some debt closed quickly and then, they got this company that gave me debt consolidation loan.

I am feeling comfortable with my loan, I am paying my dues at time, but I want to pay my total loan amount in a less time. I have 48 months to pay my total amount, but I want to pay in less time that this time with a same amount monthly.

Working with JG Wentworth was comfortable. They didn't push anything on me or anything like that. The program worked out pretty well. They transferred me to another company called New Credit America, which paid off all my debt. Now, I'm just making payments to New Credit America. Whereas with JG Wentworth, it was a slow payoff towards the debt. I was pretty satisfied all in all. JG Wentworth is a good company to work with.

Only thing that got done in 9 months is you received your money and my credit score has been destroyed. Then after you take 25 percent you try to force me to take a predator loan tool. I feel like I have been scammed.

JG WENTWORTH has been a great experience for me. From day 1 they have talked me through the process and helped me get out of the major debt I had because of Covid. They have always been there if I had questions about the program I am in. No matter who I have talked with, they have been very professional.

They tell you you will only get three or four months of late fees to get you in. Then after a year of multiple companies putting late fees on your credit card all while sending JG large amounts of money each month they JG will call you and tell you how great you are doing on payments and we want to offer you a loan to at 30% interest to help you keep from getting any more late fees on your credit report! It is a complete scam that has screwed my credit terrible. At least before I was making the minimum payment and had excellent credit score until they completely lied about their offer!

My experience thus far has been stress free. The process has been easy and I have been updated regularly. I appreciate the stress free in which the company has helped me in this process. I like that I am emailed on what is going on in my account and I can see how the money is being spent. To date there have been no problems that I know of and the phone calls from my creditors have stopped. I don't like that my credit took a dive but I understand the necessity of it to get me out of debt. Thank you.

I am thrilled with 1st two settlements, but very anxious about AMEX who call everyday. I ignore. I just mailed their last correspondence to Erica, where they are directly offering different length settlements. I very much appreciate the correspondence from JG Wentworth.

They were really helpful especially when sometimes, it gets difficult to understand the process because you're not familiar with a lot of the terminology. I track my progress through a dashboard. They also send me emails and call me as well.

JG Wentworth was really easy to work with. Their program has gotten rid of a couple of my debts that I was stressing about. The customer support was very good. If anything changed or anything was needed, they'd call me up and let me know what was going on.

I have been satisfied except it should be EASIER to add debt as I make progress. Current customer treatment needs to be better than NEW customers. Same with many companies. I do not have information on debt I need to add, so I suffer because you can’t repeat “pulling” info for me. Not really happy.

The reps at JG Wentworth were informative about the process. They informed me of the fee for legal representation if needed and kept me advised about all the settlements. Signing and agreeing to all the settlements was easy and in the end, they gave me a wrap up of everything in writing. I sent emails multiple times asking them questions and they always gave me answers. The program worked for me. I knew what the downfalls were and they informed me of it, and I did my own research. They handled it very well. The interest rate ended up being higher than I was quoted, but I'm living with it. That's the only thing that was negative, but everything else was good. JG Wentworth assisted me in restarting myself financially and it was a positive experience. They had good communication. Overall, it's the last resort other than bankruptcy. They did a good job.

Just want more bills paid off. And want to get credit score to come back up… been with the company for 6 months. Want to see more bills paid off sooner. And would like to see if can get a lower monthly payment.

Everybody I've talked to has been very helpful and informative. One of the companies is a credit card company that was taking me to a lawsuit. I called JG Wentworth right away and they got right on it. Everything went really smooth. Also, my credit is starting to build. Everything's looking good.

I was drowning in credit card debt, and happened to see an advertisement about help from JG Wentworth. I called just out of curiosity, and literally within 15 minutes the guy had a plan figured out for me. It hasn’t taken long to get the biggest part of my debt settled, and I’m already starting to rebuild my credit. It’s definitely been a much easier process than I expected.

I have been making monthly payments for FOURTEEN MONTHS to the JGW debt settlement program. I have NOT missed one single payment. Yet, only 1 enrolled account has been settled that entire time and that was at the very beginning when I first started with them. It has been over a year and none of my other accounts have been settled. I NEVER receive updates from JGW about how settlement negotiations are going and I have to call if I want to know anything. The 2 or 3 times I have called to speak with someone in customer service about the status of things, I get the same vague response "We are close to settling the rest of your accounts".

Great and friendly step by step process! It's a great opportunity to get back on track and work on your credit! JG Wentworth gave me this chance! They did the hard work so I could still go about my life and the payments we just right to be able to pay monthly.

Good experience so far, communication has been easy! I’ve called them a couple different times and have even talk to someone after hours before. I really believe they do everything possible to make it easy on their customers. Hope it continues. I’m just in my first year of the process.

I have tried to consolidate my debt and they have been working to consolidate 4 of my accounts. So far 2 of them have been approved and reduced in the past year. I am definitely pleased with what has been done. I am hopeful the other accounts will be satisfied soon.

There has been little communication about what is going on. The information I was provided when I signed up was completely wrong and if I knew it would have taken so long, I would not have signed up. Every time I reach out for an update I get "We are working on it" or "We will notify you when something happens." The lack of communication has been horrible.

Pretty clear from here that I will endure bad credit reports much longer than this promised date for resolution of these debts. You guys are pretty good/very good at conning. Go Dustin **. Talks fast, talks trash.
