They canned my credit score more than I did. They tell you don't pay your cards or loan so they can get the other company to lower amount owed. I listened, my score went from 698 to a 515. They called after seeing I can make my payments to them on time, offering me a loan program, then denied me for the loan. It was supposed to help fix my credit score, but their underwriter only offers that to certain demographics. BE CAREFUL when dealing with them.

They never resolved one of my cards after two years and suddenly I got served papers to pay the debt that had been in consolidation with them. I had no idea they hadn’t reached an agreement. Not only did they not reach an agreement but they cost me an extra $3000 in interest that I now also have to pay. I almost had to go to court for something I thought was handled and I was paying a lot to them to be handled. Not to mention the embarrassment of the STATE POLICE showing up to my house with court papers. No communication. Terrible experience. Run from this company.

Stay away of JG Wentworth - SCAM Per JG - July and August of 2024 I had to skip my deposits, which caused me to be behind 3 payments RESPONSE - I had a balance at that time of over 500.00 and never missed a single payment to the creditors. My portal never showed an issue. I confirmed several times with JG that all was in order and all the way to February 2025 confirmed again all was good and 3 payments left in the program. Per JG February 2025 change in escrow payment date and due to this change, there did not have enough funds in their escrow account to make the scheduled payment to the creditors. RESPONSE - This not accurate. I had 644.00 in Escrow. Per JG This caused the settlements to break. RESPONSE - The payment change was ONE DAY. My employer changed the pay schedule from twice a month to every other Friday. I had 3 payments left with the Portal showing all is order.

JG Wentworth accepted my payment of over 10k and has done nothing to resolve my debt with creditors. I am now getting paperwork for court proceedings. Every time you call them, you have to start over with a new operator. You will never be able to speak with any of the negotiations team.

If I could make give them a negative star I would. I've been with them since 2023 and it has been non stop headaches and bull. There are lots they tell you when trying to sell you their service that is just a bunch of bull. They say, "Well I can't guarantee of course, but with my experiences and how we group several people together by the Cc company, etc.. I can confidently tell you that we will settle for around 50-55%." Then they charge 20%. Now the reality. They first have you wait until the cards go delinquent before negotiating, then the amounts of debt have risen in fines and interest. Then when they do finally settle it ends up to be between 60-70% of the NEW amount after all the fines, etc.

Hello, my husband and I have had a bad experience with JG Wentworth. We are unhappy, we’re senior citizens and we feel we have been played around. We were told we could use our credit card and we couldn’t use them, and we needed our cards to buy food and pay our bills with our cards. We were told we couldn’t use them, every time I call I get a recording or they put us on hold until they close then won’t answer the phone! I need someone to contact us please at **, we are in a bad place right now. They told us that they canceled it out but we checked you still have a block on our credit cards.

A few months in to my program I started receiving calls, text and emails multiple times a day to get a loan through a company they work with. After feeling almost forced into it with assurance I would almost surely get it, I was denied fast and took a hard credit it. After this I decided to just pay my debts in entirety by myself. I was promised by MULTIPLE agents if I paid nearly $10,000 in full that ALL of my debts would be SETTLED in 90 days. It has now been 6 months past that time. I’ve been calling and talking to the creditors myself to get them to reach out to JG Wentworth. They creditors said they were never contacted. I did the work myself and for the last debt the needed more money so they could make $700 to pay $900 and I did all the work! I repeatedly called an tried to talk to supervisors and was denied.

My mom and I signed up for this debt relief on December 24, 2024. We have been trying to cancel since December 26, 2024. Our Rep. John ** said he was unable to cancel these accounts. They keep giving us the runaround and both accounts are scheduled to be ACH debited on January 20th. We have left several messages. No one will return our calls or emails. When we call, they keep trying to transfer us to another call, which leads to long wait time and then the phone will eventually disconnect. I don't know what kind of scam this is, but it doesn't look good for this company. I will continue to send these reviews and report them to BBB until they cancel my contracts. Please do not sign up with this company. They are very unreliable.

I have faithfully paid the monthly payment for well over a year and yet JG Wentworth massively and completely botched the negotiations with my biggest credit card vendor that resulted in a judgement against me. JG Wentworth had intentionally ignored the SIX separate email inquiries, demands and communications by me. They respond to an initial email saying “We got your email,” then nothing happens at all for weeks. JG Wentworth is a complete fraud and no one should do business with them. They make promises to their clients, then breach their duties and responsibilities to their clients. If I could give a -5 star review, that still wouldn’t be enough. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I was just gonna tell the rep I don't need the services but we started talking. I was thinking maybe I needed it and we kept talking. He looked at my numbers and said this could work for me. I’m still paying the bills. Initially, the process was good because the sales guy helped me realize I needed their services. So, I put my pride aside and went forth.

The woman I spoke with at JG Wentworth was very thorough, very understanding, and personable. I related to her. I'm new to the program. So, we've only made one payment since. So far, it's good. They also reassured me like, "Hey, if you have questions, call us any time." I have that lady that I spoke to directly the first time, I have her number, and she said if I have any questions, concerns at all to let her know. So, knowing that I could pick up the phone and call if I need help is great. I'm very satisfied with JG.

My experience with their specialist went very well. I had no problems. So far, their service has been good.

Setting up the program with JG Wentworth wasn't difficult. There were a few computer glitches, but I had no control over them, and neither did they. But everybody's been very courteous.

I have been making payments for 6 months and only 2 of the 10 creditors have been settled. I have received a settle agreement for a third creditor and JG Wentworth has not been making the payments to them, therefore the agreement is now void. I tried calling and they said they would call back and never did. I am not sure what is going on, but they are paying themselves their fees first and not paying the scheduled payment plan for the most recently approved new reduced balance. They have missed three payments, and no one is getting back to me.

I started with JG Wentworth when I was looking for a debt consolidation loan. I ended up speaking with JG Wentworth and it seemed like a good idea. So I started the program. I was told that I would make a payment of $193.XX every two weeks to go into an account to pay down these debts which was fine. I was also told to not pay the creditor and to ignore all of the creditors calls. I have been doing both things. I started on around 8/29/2024. As of the date of this post (11/30/2024) I have received 0 updates as to what is happening with my account and the phone calls are still coming in all day long constantly. When I call JG Wentworh they say that with what I have paid so far my account balance is $0.03 (3 months later and paying $193.XX every two weeks) and they have to wait until more money is build up to start negotiating with the creditors. It was not mentioned that a certain amount needed to be built up before they started negotiating on my behalf.

JG Wentworth is very helpful and stress-free. They were not pushy which was one thing I loved about them. They gave me all the facts and then allowed me time to make a decision. The gentleman that helped us was was very knowledgeable, informative, and helped us in making a decision on what we were gonna do. The process was very easy and the gentleman was very good at explaining it the whole time we were doing it. The program took some burdens off my plate. Later on, down the road, I will see results from people that I know have went through the program as well.

I've been with JG Wentworth three weeks, and I like them and everything they've done so far. I like talking to them too. They were easy to talk to and I felt like they could help me with my debt. They were nice and I'm happy with it. Their customer support and the process are great. It's easy to understand. I was just in my portal looking at my portfolio. I have a $12,000 debt and I could be in the program a while, but they're in negotiations and already sent me two. I got a letter and I'm gonna have to call and talk to them tomorrow.

JG Wentworth came up on my feed on Facebook and I was trying to get some help. The program just started, so it has been working fine.

JG Wentworth hasn't worked so far. The payment didn't come out yet. It's supposed to be the 10th. Also, I wish their fee would have been smaller. Other than that, the customer service rep that I worked with was nice.

I entered into a debt consolidation program with them in August 2024. They set up the payments and started taking money to pay my debts in September. By November 1, 2024, I had paid $50.00 on my actual debt and over $252 in fees. They told me to stop paying my debts that they had taken over. They lied and stated that they were going to be able to negotiate special rates, which all my creditors told me was a lie; I could negotiate the same rates with them, so they engaged in deceptive business practices. I am literally going to have to take them to court to get this matter resolved. In addition to costing me hundreds in late fees, and tanking my credit. This agency is a complete scam.

So I did the math and I'm paying more than what I enrolled in with. I do not see how this is helping with my debt, they are putting me in more debt. I'm so disappointed to be misled. I would not recommend JG Wentworth. I am unemployed now and struggling. I'm waiting on disability. This company doesn't care. They are taking a little extra and putting it in their pockets.

I got JG Wentworth's info from my sister, then I talked to a guy on the phone and enrolled with them. However, I wish I hadn't done it because I didn't realize it was gonna ruin my credit. I thought they were gonna pay off my bills, then I would have one bill with them. They're getting their money and it came out today for the second time, but all my bill collectors are still calling me. It's been two months. When I leave a message, they don't call me back. I can't get a person. I'm not satisfied at all.

I'm just in the beginning stages of the program, but the customer support is very good.

I thought JG Wentworth could help me out. So, I signed up for it, but then they called me and they told me the story about how they do it. And I thought, "Well, that's just wrong. I could go file bankruptcy a lot easier than that." They let your bills go into default. So, you're messing around with the default bills for nine months. I called back and canceled it. It was really easy to sign up for it and I got excited at first until they told me how they do it. They said they let the bills go into default. "You shouldn't have to worry with the consumers." That's a lie. I got calls from consumers right away. I just didn't like the way it's set up. It could be set up differently to where it's handled better. As far as I could tell, they weren't gonna do anything but sit on it and take my money while bills went into default. Customer support was fine. The rep was the reason I got off of it after she told me how the system worked.

I have been with JG Wentworth for 2.5 years. They told me the collection calls would stop as they settled my debts & to ignore them until then. I thought it was settled. Last month, I received a letter from a company that JG Wentworth had “settled” on my behalf. I am being sued. I have a court date & everything. I called them continually for 3 days & no one would answer me. I still have not heard from them, a month later. I have received texts though from them asking where their payment is after I stopped payment. I would run far away from this company.

The rep at JG Wentworth has been amazing and helpful. It's been two months and what's awesome is they've already had three settlements on some of my debt so far. It's a fair deal what JG Wentworth is doing. It's worth it. The process is fast and easy. The biggest thing is communication and I get updates on my phone and on my email. I'd tell others to do it with JG Wentworth and get their debt out of their life.

No one will call you back like they said you could call them but it's a lie. I have tried for to weeks and if somebody does answer they say I left a message with Brain R. I want to not do business with them. Thank you. Ronnie R

I reached out in March for help. They only contacted one out of 8 creditors, but when I tried to remove the 7 creditors they couldn't bother talking to, they tried to keep the same payment amount which was even more than the only creditor they "resolved". Save yourself the aggravation, and just reach out to your creditors directly to lower payments. Even bankruptcy is better than these people.

When I put my information into the website, it shot me over to JG Wentworth and the signup experience was excellent. Joel, the rep, was very informative and helpful and had a great attitude. He made me feel comfortable. He explained what JG Wentworth does and made me understand what was gonna happen and what needed to be done. They gave me information on how much I was gonna be paying in debt, trying to pay things off versus using the JG Wentworth program to get out of debt. It just made sense to go with them.

I don't understand why someone will call to offer services. You ask options and you get nasty attitudes because they don't have a solution with a nasty "good luck to you". If you don't take their program they are nasty. So tired of bad customer service. These people hate their jobs and take it out on the people they're supposed to help. Shameful. I think now I'm going to start my calls with do you have a bad attitude or temperament? If you do please give me some other rep.

I got so deep in debt and I was trying to survive it. I took out some high interest loans with 239% interest that I thought would just be temporary and I could get them paid off real quick. But things didn't get any better. So, I was stuck and JG Wentworth couldn't take those at the time. So I left JG Wentworth. They were fine with what they were doing with the others, but they couldn't take on what I have with these super high interest loans because it was 200%. There are plenty of upsides in consolidating debts but I was surprised that there was a 25% fee involved in helping somebody consolidate. Other than that, JG Wentworth was fine and I would recommend them as well as any other.

The reps of the credit cards that JG Wentworth was helping me to get rid of kept calling me and even my bank, when I went to the front to get cash, told me I was late. The rep asked if I wanted them to make a payment for me. I just said no and they said I’m overdue. So, it concerned me because I didn't get anything from JG Wentworth. The balance still shows up like I'm overdue. When I called that last month, the rep told me to stop making payments and then, I had payments following that next week after I applied to the program. I emailed the guy who helped me from JG Wentworth and he told me not to worry about it and to just ignore them. He said I should not make any payments and they already contacted them. They already know.

Their customer support has been great so far. The rep who worked with me was knowledgeable as well.

JG Wentworth called me after filling out a thing online with debt consolidation and they explained everything to me. I understood what I was getting myself into, but I called again a couple days later and got more info to get a better understanding of what I needed to do in order to complete the program. So far, so good. I pay through the little portal that they have and it goes through a third-party company. It tells me when I pay, how much I'm going to pay, and when I get auto drafted. But I have to call in in order to pay extra and every time I want something done. So that is a little out of date.

I emailed them because they've been calling me from the accounts that were listed. But I'm not sure what to do after that so I'm waiting for them to respond and go from there.

I was getting stressed out about all the credit card payments that I was having to make. When I got an advertisement about how JG Wentworth could consolidate credit, I reached out to them. It was really fast. I got a call an hour after I filled out the forms, and I was talking with a person about what the process would be like. Within half an hour, we were all set up and he had given me instructions on how to proceed. In some place in our call, he also said, "I know how hard it is to make this decision. And so, we appreciate you trusting us." Times haven't been easy, and having somebody say that was really kind. I'm still waiting on my orientation call, but that's because I missed it. So, I've been trying to call back and the waiting is long.

I was originally looking for a consolidation loan, but that's not what I got from JG Wentworth. I'm a little disappointed because they're a little misleading. They lead you to believe in the beginning that you're getting a loan to pay off your credit cards to consolidate into one payment. But that's not what they do. So, now my credit cards aren't being paid since JG Wentworth told me not to pay them. I went from a perfect 100% bills paid on time on my credit report, and now everything's late.

JG Wentworth Debt Relief called me to see if I needed help. I knew them by reputation. I decided that I would switch and go with them. I'm very satisfied as far as their customer service is concerned.

The representative that I initially worked with at JGW who set the account up went through the accounts really quickly and he failed to tell me that accounts with lower balances would not be included in the debt consolidation. It would have been nice if they had initially sent a print off which accounts are going into the debt collection, consolidation, aren't going in because of lower balance. I failed to pay those lower balance ones, thinking that they were included. It was very overwhelming going through it with him and I have a lot of accounts.

I've had several transactions with JG Wentworth. This most recent time, I had some debt I needed to pay off. It was an easy process with them and it only took a couple of weeks.

I was looking for a debt consolidation service and JG Wentworth was willing to help me reduce debt without a higher interest rate. I'm not even two weeks in yet and they haven't resolved any of the creditors yet. But I know what my maximum payment might be right now. The customer support has been excellent and the experience has been good so far.

I had three credit cards that had a lot of interest, and I was looking for a debt consolidation program. JG Wentworth provided at least $70 less a month on the payment, and the customer support has been very good. I made my first payment, and I'm hoping that everything gets resolved quickly so that my credit won't take a dip. Overall, it was a good experience.

The gentleman from JG Wentworth that I talked to was really professional, and he seemed to have a handle on everything that he was doing. He was knowledgeable. Also, he made me feel really comfortable. At first, when he told me about the whole process and how everything was supposed to be handled and all that good stuff, I was fairly hesitant and took about a week to get back to him. It seemed solid after that. So, the questions of legitimacy were raised when he was asking for my bank account, however, I didn't have a contract. Apparently, that's the way the process is supposed to go.

Trying to handle my own debt consolidation was unsuccessful. I did a bunch of research five months ago and, sure enough, hesitated. But I read reviews, and I decided to go ahead and make the decision to choose JG Wentworth. The enrollment process was flawless. It was a great experience. The customer support was good. Any questions that I had available, they answered them to my satisfaction. It gave me a sense of relief, knowing that I was finally taking care of a goal that I wanted to accomplish as far as being debt-free.

Do not use JG Wentworth. The program does not work! I came to this program desperate for some kind of help. I actually wanted a debt consolidation loan so that I could get out of the hole I was in at which point I was advised debt settlement was all they could do for me and "it would look good on my credit report." My total credit card debt was $20,000.

When I first signed up, JG Wentworth did not give me all the details about their payment. I asked and was given a runaround. When I did the calculations, their fee versus the difference is not a tremendous amount, but I was surprised that they did not, especially when I asked, gave me the specific information I was asking for. But so far, JG Wentworth has done one out of five accounts so it's going well. They've got their online portal which I'm able to take a look at.

The JG Wentworth rep I spoke to broke everything down. The questions I was asking him, he did not hesitate in answering them. As of right now, I have one case that's getting paid, so everything is good.

So far, my experience with JG Wentworth has been great. I made my first payment. I just had to transfer the funds because they tried to charge it and I didn't have it in there. But besides that, everything is going great. I'm supposed to be paying them and they take care of the cards that I need help with right now. The enrollment process was simple, too. We were done within an hour.

JG Wentworth's customer support is great. Any questions or concerns I had, I called them and they have been taken care of promptly. I've only been with them since June and it's a little early to tell, but the program has been fine.

I have called numerous times to find out what is going on since my program ended in March on this year, EACH time I get the response That someone will DEFINITELY call me back. And I continue to Wait!! You STILL have $700 in my account and a creditor that has not been paid.. WHAT IS GOING ON???

Updated on 08/14/2024: JG Wentworth contacted me once again to agree with me on my recent complaints of them failing on my case to properly communicate with the creditors in a timely manner, resulting in lawsuits, legal judgments, tripling my payment plan, and leading me in to a financial crisis. Yes they called to let me know they will continue to keep screwing me over. BE WARNED!

I had gotten into a contract with another company but it seemed like they were moving their feet too slow. They weren't staying in contact and telling me anything. I didn't know what was going on so I canceled and went with JG Wentworth. But my experience is pretty messed up. To think you got it all figured out then you find out that you gotta start using credit cards and other stuff to stay on top is not a good feeling. But hopefully, they can help me to get this all sorted out. I feel like I know more of what's going on than I have with the other company. So far, it seems like they really are trying to help me and I'm sticking by them. Everything is running pretty smooth and I'm doing my part as far as putting the money to the side to make sure that it is there for them to do what it is that they need to do and that is to help me do this debt consolidation.

I shopped around places for debt consolidation and JGW gave me the best deal and played the right cards I wanted put together. They gave me a cheaper price than what I would have to pay and the reps are nice. They always call me back. They're doing something that I want the way I want it and two weeks later, they had the first settlement. They sent me a settlement with the first two creditors last month and they took care of things for me. I had missed the month before, but still, they had it done.

JG Wentworth was more professional than the others. Their rep gave me some insight where nobody else did. After I finished talking to him, I talked to several people, and he had told me more stuff. I was gonna file bankruptcy because I lost a lot of income. He said that he still wasn't gonna let me do what I need to do. He gave me all the points that I needed to know. He was more knowledgeable than the rest of them that I talked to. So far, the program seemed to be working well. JG is contacting the people. So, they stopped calling me and worrying me to death about payments.

I was more comfortable dealing with JG Wentworth. They've answered all the questions that I've had and explained everything easily. So far, it's been good. It's helping me that I got one payment a month and it's less than how much I was paying for each of my stuff individually. I can log in online to track my progress but as of right now, it doesn't show any updates or progress. The girl that I spoke to when I first joined the program told me it would take three or four months before I saw anything and this is my second month.

JGW's agent, Adam **, implied he could get me an advance of $40K quickly, so I could make a large purchase. I told JGW that I ONLY WANTED TO DO THE TRANSACTION IF I COULD GET THE LARGE ADVANCE WITHIN TWO WEEKS. They said they understood, which was a lie. They only sent $14K after about four weeks which wasn't enough to meet my needs. I had already taken out high interest loans that I now couldn't pay off because they didn't send the $40K we discussed. Because I believed their agent Adam, I became over-extended financially because I assumed I would have the $40K to pay off the new obligation quickly which proved to be untrue.

Takes longer than they let on and customer service was good up until the last 6 months of the program. Then it was almost non-existent getting someone to answer your email or know what they're talking about when you have to call. I changed bank accounts because I moved out of state during the last 6 months and it took them 3 months to correct it as my payments were not coming out.

Good experience,,,, They are very professional. This is the best company ever. I really trust them and I have seen the best results. Just be patient. They will help you with any situation. Just leave it on their hands.

JG Wentworth was the most reputable in business for a long time when I looked them up and the program I am in now is going well. I’m also saving up a lot of my money with those credit cards that I had open and I was in debt. I see some of the savings in my salary now. The process was good. The adviser got in contact with me, asked me questions and signed me up on the same day. They had my profile pulled up already and the three credit card debts that I had. Then, they told me which program would suit me the best and how many years and I agreed to that. The adviser was helpful and the service was of good quality. I had a lot of questions and they helped me understand how the system and the program work and assured the next steps and what's gonna happen. JG Wentworth is convenient and fast.

I was with another company and I was very dissatisfied. I was already six months into the program and they hadn’t settled any account. Then, I got a call from JG Wentworth and decided to give them a shot. And so far, I'm very happy with them. Within a month, they settled two accounts. They work with your budget so that alleviates a little bit of the stress. JG Wentworth’s website is a little bit on the more basic side. It has what you need but it's nothing too flashy. But their customer service is great and the reps were nice compared to the previous company I was working with who were rude. People should give JG Wentworth a call and see what they can do for them.

JG Wentworth is trying to help and are not just trying to get you into a loan. So far, everything's been pretty smooth and straightforward. I had to provide the information that they required and that was understandable. They answered all my questions and there was no beating around the bush with things. It was also easy for me to access everything. If my friends need help, I would tell them that they should go with JG Wentworth.

Terrible experience with JG Wentworth and the people working here. All was good and they were kind until I decided the program wasn’t for me and I wanted to pull out. The person working my case was so incredibly inappropriate saying I “have a problem and I need help”, I’m “making an obvious mistake”, that people my age “don’t have debt like this”, that “the truth hurts”, and “you know I’m right that you have a problem”. All of this because I wanted to hold on doing the program for now. I was actually considering coming back, but they’ve lost me as a future customer and how they treat customers is absolutely appalling. It's clear this guy is not afraid of getting fired and thinks he can treat customers like skin. They aren’t here to help. They are trying to make money off of you.

I've been with them for about a month and the credit card consolidation has been okay so far. They helped me get everything started and gave me a timeline of six months.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went through their debt relief program and ended up paying back everything that I owe but they did not pay my creditors. I'm being sued by my creditors because JG Wentworth/Castro law kept the money instead of paying them off!!! I reached out to them and they told me they separated from Castro law and to contact them. I contacted them and they won't return my calls or emails. This is not legal and now I will need to get an attorney involved. Please save your money money and aggravation and do not do business with JG WENTWORTH OR CASTRO LAW!! They will take your money and not pay your creditors and you will have to pay twice!!!!

The last time I gave them a one star review because of how differently I was treated once signing the contract with them. I was asked “what I wanted?” Because of giving the review. Matthew F and Michael ** use intimidation tactics and have dismissed and ignored things intentionally and have got to the point of laughter while on the phone with them. It seems almost intentional especially when they supposedly sent a ride for my court hearing only to get a notification ten minutes AFTER the ride was “scheduled” to pick me up that they were no available drivers. Right? And asking for a representative to not contact me after lying to me and admitting it to me (which I have proof of via recorded conversations on my end and personal text) seems like I was asking too much.

I was connected with JG Wentworth and I liked who I talked to. It sounded like everything was gonna work out. I've been with them for three months now and it's been working so far. They've already come to an agreement with one of my debtors and I'm just waiting for the other company to come to an agreement. The rep said it should take about two years to complete the program completely. The website is also easy to use and has all the information right there.

I would not recommend JG Wentworth to anyone. I had a few debts on my account and my payment was 258 a month which worked for me and then I got taken to court which jgwentworth handled but I was told my payment would need to be raised by 130 dollars and I agreed that was fine. But during the court case it was declined and then they said they needed to raise my payment by 210 which again was fine except for the fact that they didn’t mention they were raising it by 130 plus the 210 on top of my 258 dollar payment.

The reps were very knowledgeable and helpful. I spoke with several people to get an update and see how things are going on their end, if there's any other information they need from me. Everything is going good with JG Wentworth and I highly recommend it.

Used this Company when I took a huge business start-up risk and refinancing my house for cash out fell through due to Biden in acting ridiculous new stipulations for home equity. I was in such a panic that I wasn’t thinking clearly and just wanted someone to help me settle credit card debts without stressing with it myself. This company was professional at the beginning of the process then slowly you could see you were just another number to them. They took huge payouts on every single debt I settled to the point where I saved almost no money than if I were to have settled them myself.

JG Wentworth's reps was very friendly. I would encourage my friends to go with them. Their service has been very good and I can correspond with them on their website.

I’ve written a review before, but I must update because the horrendous saga continues. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME With J.G.WENTWORTH!! It’s all lies and the stress is worse than anything you could imagine! JUST FILE BANKRUPTCY!!! The newest issue is JG Wentworth put me through to an Arnold smith law firm. The law firm advised me to take a 30k debt off of JG Wentworth and pay it directly to the creditors. I was told by JG Wentworth that when the 30k comes off my payment to them would be much lighter because it’s going to lack the 30k. So, now I’m paying this debt back to the creditors. JG Wentworth takes it off my books with them, but they totally lied about dropping down the amount.

I had high credit card bills and I wanted to combine them. I kept seeing the ads of JG Wentworth all the time on TikTok and Facebook. I just signed up with them and so far, so good. Their customer service has been great.

I utilized JG Wentworth to do a debt consolidation program for me. I always received great customer service whenever I had to call with questions or concerns with any of my accounts. Their customer service was always exceptional. Whenever an account was negotiated (and all of my accounts were reduced) JG Wentworth would email me a detailed contract about what the cost was going to be. I always had the opportunity to agree or not with the settlement.

I wish I would have never used JG Wentworth. I had a lot of my credit, but I never was in bad standing with late payments. Now all my payments are late and the creditors still haven't heard from JG Wentworth. It's put me in a bad situation. I don't understand why they're taking so much money out my account now and not even making the payments. They said that they needed time to consolidate so they haven't even started. They said it could be anywhere from four to six months to consolidate.

The JG Wentworth rep that I spoke with when discussing my situation was the catalyst for me making decisions. She was very helpful and she made me feel like in the long run, it would be the best thing for me to do. She made me feel confident and secure. Their website has been user-friendly and so far, the program has worked well. The phone calls still come in, which is normal in the beginning. But they've already settled one thing, so that's good news. When I emailed them, they've been very receptive. They worry about legal action and things of that nature. And I've been assured that part of the money is going towards legal services if necessary. I still have fears but they know what they're doing and I do not. So I have to trust and have faith.

So far, the program of JG Wentworth has been really good. I've got some settlements fast. I just have one more settlement to go. I put some more money down than what the minimum monthly payment was to get it over with faster, and as soon as they saw me put that extra money down, they started reaching more settlements. Their customer support has been great. Any time I have a question, I just call them and they're fast to answer any questions. I've also seen my credit go up a good chunk ever since they started posting the payments

The enrollment process was pretty easy and so far, JG Wentworth is doing pretty good. I got an email saying that they made a settlement agreement with Kohl's. They seem to be doing what they said they were gonna do.
