    I have the Experian NotifyID. I unfroze my credit to get a loan. Got a lot of notifications from NotifyID. From IdentityForce, nothing. I used to get notifications about my credit card usage from IdentityForce.. I now signed up with the bank and get them. I get nothing from IdentiyForce about anything except the same old sex offenders every month.

    Since scammers infiltrated my computer in January 2018 and I began thereafter to utilize ID Force, the same scammers have made phone contact with me and at this present time have pirated both my land line phone and my cell phone so that I am unable to make call outs. In addition, I have had my Chase credit card pirated twice in the past month and a half by a different thief, who flew below the radar using an amount on their charges below my alert number, but totaling nearly $1500. I'm not sure that where the rubber meets the road ID Force is affording me much protection. Mostly I get notifications related to my financial activities. I think tighter security measures are needful in this present time of electronic pirating where now even phone numbers need to be monitored for pirating.

    Alert messages are not clear. I want to be able to speak to a 'person' at any time I need to. With LifeLock it was absolutely impossible to get a humam being on the phone. I want security in getting someone on the phone as quickly as possible when an issue arises. So far I've only called twice & actually got a person on the phone fairly quickly. This is good.     When I signed up, I was expecting something different I think. My credit report hasn't been updated since July of last year. That doesn't help me keep track of my credit. The "report" is difficult to understand. Where it says number of delinquent accounts under one of the credit reporting agencies, I don't know to which account it is referring. Therefore I can't resolve that promptly. Under my student loans all I see is a bunch of red arrows. Those loans are currently in deferment because I am in school. And have been since May of 2018. I'm thinking a major overhaul of how these reports are presented is needed. And for whatever reason, it is really ridiculous that I have no updated information since July 2018. It is currently April of 2019.

    Just got off the phone with your rep. Mentioned the experience I had signing up for the service. After recently purchasing the service I was entering the required info when I noticed that a visa card didn't show up as an active account of mine, while trying to enter the visa info the computer was taken over by an outside source. It had to be a program as no human can open and close things like firewall protection as fast. Your product may be fine but I'll never know as I don't feel safe using it. So it has been cancelled.     I've had an IdentityForce subscription for a few years but am not satisfied with the alerts that I receive. They contain virtually no detail, are essentially meaningless, and being required to sign-on to IdentityForce each time to view the underlying detail is burdensome. So, as you would expect, these alerts are ignored and am guessing that most others using your service ignore them as well. Would strongly suggest that you include the same reporting detail you include in the online version. Since it contains no identification information, the risk exposure for doing this would be minimal. Moreover, this capability would add tremendous utility to your service since the alerts would be viewed and actions taken if something suspicious occurred (vs. just ignored as they are today).     The app and website are easy to navigate, but some of the notifications could be formatted or worded in a way that’s make them more easily and quickly understood. For example, instead of “sex offender monitoring alert”, use “reg. sex offender in area” or something to that effect. That way I don’t have to login, authenticate and read through the message to understand its purpose unless I really want to.

    Also, I don’t like that my credit score hasn’t been updated in over a year even though there have been a few credit checks as part of applying for new accounts. Lastly, I don’t see (or have my attention drawn to) what the company is proactively doing to protect my identity. I would expect dark web searches, purging of some public records, research into scam sources, etc; is there no partnership with Government agencies or local police force?

    I am generally happy with IdentityForce (IF), but there are two issues I’ve had: (1) when there was a problem on a credit report, IF asked me to pull my own credit and fix it. It is not practical that I can do that, especially not knowing what the problem was, so I would like IF to be more hands-on and specific with identifying and fixing problems, and (2) I would like the ability to select which type of notifications I get. The constant sexual offender notices are annoying and I really don’t care about them.

    The alerts are too slow and not in real time. I get alerts days after a transaction occurs and these are my usual payments nothing out of the ordinary. This is a waste of my time and $.     I've been using them for 4 years and will probably not renew after my current subscription expires. I no longer feel save with them. Back a couple of years ago they would send me a notification if my information shows up on the web with a link to ask the website to delist it. More than once over the last year I found my full address history by doing simple Google search and yet I never received a notification from Identity Search. I contacted them and got a rather arrogant response to the effect of "we are only monitoring serious issues, not simple Google searches".

    Maybe, but they used to monitor this type of exposure and now they don't. Maybe they used to monitor fraud and now they don't, how would I know? Additionally, I contacted them more than once, asking how can I unsubscribe from sex offender alerts which they will send me every time someone moves in within ** miles. The response is "it's part of your service, get used to it, it can't be disabled".

    They are similarly arrogant around subscription expiration day. If you are late with renewal payment by a day, they will just send you a note that they deactivated your account, I pay for a year in advance, and expect some decent reminder from them on the day of expiry. You can't just log-in and pay after you missed the date, you have to call them and ask to kindly accept your payment. Once again, it's a service I would expect from my cable company. And wish they would do a better job than Google search.

    On March 14 I received a fraud alert by text. I signed in shortly thereafter but was unable to get the fraud alert as I received error messages. I was also unable to obtain any credit information that I was paying for the same reason. I called customer service and was told that it wasn’t IdentityForce’s problem, that it was TransUnion‘s issue. I called a second time and was told the same thing. I went to TransUnion and found out that the information they had there was accurate. I called a third time and finally someone figured out the issue, Which was IF’s problem not TU. I was then able to access the site but not the fraud alert, which had essentially expired.

    I spoke to supervisor Wendy; while she was somewhat sympathetic, she continued to express that it wasn’t IdentityForce problem. She finally agreed to give me two months free, but I believe I should’ve had 6 to 9 months free. This is the second problem I’ve had accessing the site after a fraud alert.     I've had this service for two years now and I like having it just for the peace of mind. The "just in case" factor. However, I think it's rather expensive and there's times where I have notifications set up for different accounts and I don't get any notifications. Luckily, it's always been me who's applying for a credit card or spending a larger amount of money, but if somebody is trying to steal my identity or use my cards, I'd only know if I looked at my banking information. Overall, I feel comfortable paying for this service because if something does happen, they can help you get everything back on track. To me, that's worth keeping the service.

    I'm glad we have IdentityForce, but I've encountered a lot of problems with the website. It's hard to navigate, sometimes I can't see my alerts, I've had to close my account because we moved and no longer had the same phone number, my social media keeps getting disconnected, I don't always get all my alerts, it's hit or miss--it's just not a great system they have set up. Fortunately, I've never had my identity stolen, so I can't comment on their recovery process.

    Debit card fraud not covered by IF plan. I had my Mastercard Debit Card ID used to create fraudulent transactions. My IF agent said this was not covered by IF subscription. I am not sure if IF is of any real value to me. It appears that the most common fraud is NOT covered and only the most uncommon may be. Very disappointed. Looking for an alternative now.

    This morning, in a public place, my wife lost her purse, which contained important identity and financial information. I tried several times to apply for a new Family protection plan on their website, but it would not work. I had to call their so-called "outstanding customer service" telephone number. They immediately put a debit on my bank card, which instantly appeared on my online banking site. The agent claimed that my bank declined the transaction, and that I would have to use a different card. I asked her to transfer me to someone else, and she claimed that no one else was available. I told her that I wanted to talk to her supervisor. I was eventually transferred to "Jonathan" who told me that the charge that they placed on my bank debit card would be "refunded" by my bank within 5 working days.

    Meanwhile, the $359.00 charge has been deducted from my available bank balance. Due to the urgency of my situation, I let them charge me a second time on a different credit card. (This is their way of charging you twice.) I tried to input our basic information on their website several times, but it takes a very long time. I am having technical difficulties and have called them several times this afternoon. I am currently on hold with them as I am typing this review, and have been on hold for almost 2 hours. They promise to provide service 24/7, but apparently not on a Saturday. If you need protection in a hurry, then try another company.

    I recently moved and so updated all my information (driver's license, utilities of course, and address too). I received a notice that my credit had changed. Cool. I tried to log in, was rejected. I attempted to change my password. Of course it had my old info. I called them. They gave me instructions to fax my new DL and utility bill. Which I did. Then they said that was not good because it was not the old address that matched their records. DUH. I just told them I moved and updated everything.

    SO again I called. This very rude lady, Missy Manager, wouldn't even budge. I understand security. I faxed the required stuff, gave my email address, promised my firstborn, but to no avail. I understand the risks. They would have my full info if something was amiss. So I canceled. Experian, LifeLock or something else is better. Oh Missy the Manager wanted my closing statement on my home sale and new home purchase... Right. How about my bank password and an entry in my life insurance as well. :-)

    I had to call during signup. The site was telling me that I was already was registered. A site error gave that message for some unknown reason. It only went away after I closed the browser session and restarting from the beginning. When billing time came for the free trial, it told me that there was a payment error. It then automatically reloaded and indicated success. There was no problem with my card, since they successfully authorized the full annual charge *twice* for one trial period. Another false error. I called and was told that they were sorry, but the manager was on vacation. They would call me back in the morning with reassurances, but never did.

    I quickly found out that I was signed up for a lesser plan without credit monitoring (not what I selected). Fearing a billing mishap and even more problems, I requested a cancellation via email. Support was responsive until this point, but went silent, so I cancelled on the site. It’s been a week and I still have several $100 of authorizations, half of which was erroneously placed on my card. They are still sorry and there’s still “nothing they can do.” I’m supposed to call back tomorrow.

    Signed-up on the IdentityForce website for a 30 day free trial with annual billing. My credit card was hit for the total for the year the very same day, not at the end of the trial. "Meredith's" explanation was that everything is okay because they don't get the money until the end of the 30 days. What? I was billed for the full year the same time the "30 day free trial" started. Cancellation was quick and easy...

    Their confirmation email clearly states that I would not be billed until November 29th, the end of the trial period. I was actually billed on October 29th.

When I pressed the "customer service" representative a little harder, she then changed her tune and told me she could do a "one time courtesy reversal" of the charges.     I spent a long time searching for what I thought would be the best Idenity Protection for my needs. I decided to go with Identity Force. For the plan I chose the advertised amount was $189.50 or $18.95 per month. When I received my bank statement I was charged $199.50. STRIKE 1. It takes a long time to set up your account. Once completed I felt “more protected” than ever before. That was short lived when one of my credit cards was comprised and no alert was ever sent to me!!! STRIKE 2.

    When I called IdentityForce, the tech was not the friendly helpful person as promised in the ad, instead he was any but and questioned how I completed my profile. Once I told him, he responded with a very condescending question about a second backup I was supposed to do with all of my accounts. Nowhere did I read such a thing. If I missed it it’s because their site is NOT easy to navigate, especially for those of us who are not super computer savvy. This became much too complicated. STRIKE 3 Your Out! I called the following day to cancel my subscription after 2 months. When I received my bank statement instead of being charged $18.50 per day I was charged $30 per day! From the very start IdentityForce did not keep up with their promises!

    My credit reporting agency notified me about a few things that weren't reported by IdentityForce, and then I discovered I had an email account in my name from years ago that I didn't open, with an address that I never lived at registered to an eBay account! Thanks to the IRS for that discovery of all people. The worst part is that when I called I was told that my particular package did not cover that sort of thing! So I paid for an identity theft protection service that didn't protect my identity except from a limited list of sources? Naturally unsatisfied with this I requested a refund for my last month's billing, which was taken out only the earlier that same day. I was denied the refund completely, and the agent told me that I should have reviewed the available plans more carefully. Blaming the customer for the failures of a service is never a good way win trust, IdentityForce. Do better.

    I spent $359 to sign up for the UltraSecure+Credit Family Plan. Their marketing states this covers two adults and unlimited children 25 years and younger. When I went to add my children, I discovered they ONLY monitor the kid's social security numbers and DO NOT provide any of the other services under this plan (credit cards, bank accounts, driver's license, etc.). I'm so disappointed because I thought my entire family would receive the same coverage under the "Family Plan". I confirmed this with their customer service rep over the phone when I tried to add my kids to the plan.

    People should understand IdentityForce advertising is misleading and your children will NOT receive all of the protection the plan was supposed to offer. At a minimum, they should have indicated that children get only minimal protection on the family plan (and not wait until parents get signed up and pay before they realize the minimal coverage for kids). Now my choice is to pay another $199/year for EACH of my three kids if I want them to have the same coverage my wife and I have. That would be $956 for a family of five. I feel like they pulled a bait and switch on me.

    This service has 24 hour services that monitor identity theft. I was amazed at the features and insurance offered. I tried it because they offered a free trial before you have to pay. It makes me feel like I am protected around the clock and will be notified by alerts if any weird activities occur. It give me the software to see how my information is being used and access to my credit score. Also, I like that it will monitor my Social security number, bank accounts, and passwords. It is great to have these features across all of my accounts. I like that it offers up to one million dollars insurance too.

    However, I think there should be a feature to see if a company is trustworthy enough to give them my information. A list to show all the reputable companies that my information is not being misused. A way to search a company to make sure they have not been accused of fraud or identity theft. I would want to know if a company have been hacked before.

    I felt that my information was safe with IdentityForce. It was easy to manage & monitor my profile, and I never had any problems with services/questions. I had no doubts that my identity was secure & protected. But if I could change anything about the IdentityForce service & company based on my personal experiences, then I would want it to be less expensive (free would be in my opinion ideal). I do not regularly do anything which requires personal/unique identification or that which makes me uniquely identifiable, but when I do I know that IdentityForce protects me. Costs were average, nothing special, but not too steep. I would recommend this service to another. This is a service I feel that is more than needed. The monitoring service to me personally is the same as a credit report, you can control what's going on in your life, as far as credit score and your finances.
