When I called CreditAssociates for my high credit card debt, they were very courteous and they took their time to walk us through the computer work. Russell, our rep, was also a lot of help. The payment plan was reasonable and so far, everything has been fine. I'd recommend CreditAssociates.

The guy I worked with at CreditAssociates was really friendly and good and direct to the point. He explained things well. He told me that the timeline would be about four years, and he gave me the payment options like the first payment. And I asked him if I could delay a little because I didn’t have the money right now, and he said that it was not a problem. I needed help big time and CreditAssociates was what I needed.

I had gotten in a bind with my financial state and I needed some help. I’ve asked the mortgage company if they could refinance my mortgage and they said no. With interest rates up real high now, I asked about my car note and I’d have to get it to somebody else to refinance my car, to get lower payments. They couldn’t help me either unless I found somebody that could refinance my car to help me out. I called CreditAssociates to see if they could help me. Their rep took on my information and then turned it over to someone. They just started to help me out. I’m paying them $133 on a 30-month plan. I had to take out the furniture note because it had collateral. So far, I’ve made one payment in. I would recommend CreditAssociates to anybody that’s in my situation that needed financial payoff.

CreditAssociates is supposed to, at some point, negotiate a settlement with the Discover Card. But I guess it's too soon for them to do that. I misunderstood, apparently. I thought they would go ahead and do the bailout thing that I've heard them talking about on TV. I had also talked to a couple of people in way past years, not with CreditAssociates, but companies that do that sort of thing. And they explained to me that when you send the money, they take out their portion of it and they send to whoever your creditor is their part. So that's what I expected but that isn't what I got.
I got the monthly statement from the Discover card yesterday and it stated that the minimum payment was now $450. So I called CreditAssociates about it. The rep I talked to probably got closer to telling it the way it really is than any I've talked to yet. He finally told me that basically, they aren't gonna do anything until seven months down the road from now. In the meantime, the Discover Card can go right ahead and charge me interest but that's okay because at some point, CreditAssociates will negotiate something. I'm not thrilled about it but I understand that now. Another thing is that they might have started out with telling me, "Hey, this is the way it is until you deposit all his money into these other accounts that we're gonna set up, and just trust us that we will eventually do something about it."
There isn't anything that's gonna be done until I get the money built up into that account. So in between now and then, I'm gonna have to live with it and hope Discover doesn't sue me because CreditAssociates are not negotiating with them. They haven't said anything to them yet and it's been over a month. I don't understand how they're doing it but I assume they know what they're doing.

I was financially unable to keep up with anything. My funds are low and my payments are high - I couldn’t afford it anymore. Kate, a debt consultant from CreditAssociates, told me she could take over all my bills and pay them off slowly at a rate where I would send her less money than what I’m paying right now, which would help me get financial relief. I'm looking forward to getting the program started. As Christmas time is coming up, I’ll be able to get at least a little something for my grandchildren. CreditAssociates has given me a sigh of relief and I'm very satisfied.

The CreditAssociates debt consultant helped me understand what to expect. We had a three-way conversation because my grandson handles my affairs and he was very good about describing everything to my grandson. Bryan had questions and the debt consultant was very clear and precise about what he was telling us so I felt comfortable in going with it.

I've thought of refinancing as I’ve had a lot of problems in my life lately and I wasn’t able to keep up with the payments. The CreditAssociates rep explained everything to me and told me that they would be able to help me. He was also very patient as I was having a lot of problems with the phone and computer that day. CreditAssociates has mellowed me out as my payment came at almost half of what I was paying.

One of the credit cards we were paying on jumped from 330 to 800 dollars. We had a good rate and we miscalculated how long we were gonna use the money, and the interest just ballooned up. We knew we couldn’t pay that. We called CreditAssociates to see how we could work with them or how they would work with us and before we know it, we were enrolled in everything. We didn’t expect it to happen so quickly but we didn’t have a problem with it. We worked with Kevin and the first time, he gave us his number to call back. Most people that are doing this are working 24/7 so it's hard to find time to talk but I had a direct number to call him and that was good. Then when I called, he was on another call, so I left my message and he called me right back. We had a little problem and we called CreditAssociates, and they worked with us so we're happy with the service.
We are getting bombarded with calls from the people that we owe money from because we stopped making payments. CreditAssociates was saying that we needed to fall behind. One or two debts are still current, and by next month it’ll be behind and we know that's part of the process. Without the extra $500 payment, we're still paying about the same amount that we had before. The exciting part is that in four years of paying, we would have paid off the debt. We wouldn’t have been able to do that without CreditAssociates and we would recommend them to friends and family that would need their service.

My income dropped and I wanted to find a way to pay my debt, but I couldn’t pay as much as I could. I asked one of my credit card people if they could arrange to lower my payment, and they told me no. A friend told me about CreditAssociates and you just gotta have a computer to sign up. Everything that I’ve heard from CreditAssociates sounds good but, so far, I've only seen them talk and nothing has happened yet. I want these people that I owe to hear from them, and let them know what’s going on so they can stop bothering me. Other than that, the people from CreditAssociates that I've talked to are very nice.

I received a letter from CreditAssociates and it seemed the most sane and logical thing that I had gotten, compared to those from various debt settlement companies. They seemed to be less pressure, less hype, and a better answer for me. We’re just getting started, but I am confident and I feel that they’ve been honest with me and that I can trust what they say. I’m a really intuitive person and it felt like I could trust the debt consultant that I've been working most closely with to be telling me the truth. He did not pressure me and there was no pushing, which would have turned me off and turned me away. He just gave me a lot of information, helped me, and answered all my questions. I've had a couple of write-offs and I got a hold of somebody with the answers for me. I would recommend CreditAssociates.

Nobody would involve my credit union, which I had a loan with, and my credit card debts, but CreditAssociates could involve my credit cards and unsecured debts into the debt settlement program. Working with CreditAssociates was easier than filing bankruptcy, and a bankruptcy would be on my credit for a while. Also, it was not hard getting in contact with their consultant, Sammy. I’m still settling some debts, but there’s no more hassle from the creditors and there's less stress for me. And I’d refer them.

When I called CreditAssociates I talked to the rep for a long time before I went ahead and went through with it. The rep was really down to earth and he just made it to where I felt comfortable doing it. I wouldn't be tied in all the rules and I could cancel. I was told that by the second month I would be hearing from the first person that would try to make a deal. I’m on the third month now but they haven’t contacted me about the first deal yet. I'm in a really bad place financially right now. I was about to lose my car and my rent is backed up. I’m a single parent with three kids. I had a death in my family, and ever since my mom passed away, I’ve literally been living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes, that doesn’t even happen. So one of the things that I let go of was the credit cards because I was surviving off of them, and I didn’t have the money to pay back. I don’t wanna mess up my credit even more, or get put into collections, or whatever issues coming towards me.
I tried to see if I could just ask for a loan but at that time, I was told that because my credit score went down, I didn’t qualify for a loan. But then I got something in the mail saying that I could try CreditAssociates out, and that they would help me. I called them and tried their service out. It was cheaper what they sent me in the mail, but when the rep ran all the numbers, she said that it would be a little bit more. It was close to $200 a month, and that was still doable because I can do $200 a month as long as it would cover both the credit cards and the rep said it would.
So I set everything up for my credit cards to be looked over. However, I haven’t seen any results. They already took money out of my account but I’m getting constant calls from the credit card companies saying that they haven’t gotten contacted by anyone, and they need me to make a payment. I also called CreditAssociates when they deducted the money from my account because the money was taken out in two different amounts instead of one amount. I was thrown off and I didn’t really understand why it was a different amount. I thought that it was just a little scheme. I went bananas on them. They explained everything to me and they told me that I needed to just give them a little bit more time and that was two weeks ago.
With debt negotiation, creditors do have the right to continue their collection efforts. Most of our clients feel that this short term sacrifice is worth resolving their debt situation. This program takes patience and perseverance. I will have someone in management reach out to you in order to answer any additional questions you may have.

I needed some help so I can get my credit to go back up. The people at CreditAssociates were very polite, and they explained things to me very well where I could understand them. Every question that I asked them, they were right to the point. It was like they didn’t have any hidden agendas. I had a bad experience with Lexington and I was kind of leery of CreditAssociates at first. Mike, their rep, was able to answer all my questions and assured me that I would be in good hands.
They got the first payment, and they told me it would be going into an escrow account, so the money would be there when they take the deal with the credit people. They also told me that I have access to the escrow account. I would be able to see that the money is going in there. I would recommend CreditAssociates because they were very thorough.

Last year, I went to a lawyer and filed for bankruptcy. At the same time that I went, I have landed on a job so the lawyer told me that I qualified for the bankruptcy and to pay him $2500. When I finished paying him, I kept working because my daughter was still out of a job so I had to help her financially. Then when I went to him in January, he told me that I didn't qualify for bankruptcy because I was making too much money. He should have told me that a long time ago. He screwed up my life big time.
On March 27th, I got terminated from my job so I qualified for unemployment. My last check was yesterday so now, I'm not getting that weekly. I was looking at the TV one day and saw the commercial on CreditAssociates. I took their number down, called them and I decided to stay with them. I worked with Catherine and Leslie, and they were great. I spoke to Anna, and she was great too. When Capital One sent me a letter stating that they were gonna sue me, my anxiety level went up sky high but Anna alleviated it. She told me not to worry and that they would take care of it. Another thing is that I have to call her to tell her that I'm no longer getting unemployment benefits. I just get two checks a month which is my pension and my retirement.
I'm on my first month working with CreditAssociates and I'm happy. It's causing a financial crisis but I hope that this could clear my credit. I feel like it's gonna work but it's gonna be hard because I have to pay for 36 months. We joined CreditAssociates after our BankAmericard went up to a higher interest rate. We’re on a fixed income and there’s absolutely no reason that it should have gone up that high because we’ve never missed a payment and never been late. Another reason was the interest rate that the amount would be in 36 years before it was paid was only $12,000. We were making the minimum payment of $250 a month. On the other hand, CreditAssociates offered $245 for 36 months. Also, enrolling in the service was easy because of our credit rating. I didn't want to drain my parents of their life savings. But I'm paying down debt on one credit card only. I wanted to keep one in case of an emergency. When Austin told me that the program was probably gonna ruin my credit, I wasn't real happy about that but this was the only way I could get this paid off. Besides, working with CreditAssociates really makes me feel at ease. It gives me a sense of peace that I can catch up in the world and not have debt up to the ceiling every time I turn around. But that wasn't the case at all so that felt a little misleading just for them to get a sale. I understand they get kickbacks but that's not the way they should have gone about it. My experience with CreditAssociates has been great. When it initially started, my name was misspelled. They spelled it with a Y and it's a female. We got that straightened out and we signed the papers. I spoke with a lady who has been very helpful. I got an email yesterday and I tried to respond to that but I did not get an answer. Still, it was encouraging. It was something to let me know that they're not letting me fall or letting anything go wrong. Otherwise, the time factor is kinda creeping up on me and I have a great concern for it. It is six months or so before anything is done or letting the people know that they are working with it.
The largest amount that I owed was with Federal Credit Union and I’ve been advised not to speak with them. They are being extremely aggressive and sending me emails every day. The account is overdrawn. CreditAssociates is paying the bills and adding it to the balance on the credit card. I want them to understand what's going on, but if they're in the blind, they don't know. It’s the same with another card now and that credit has been negatively affected. My credit is not the best in the world. This morning I was checking my account and then something was returned due to non-sufficient funds. It happened to be that I didn't do an internal transfer to cover funds. I've just been really shut down and I hope that we can get something worked out.
I feel comfortable with my experience with CreditAssociates and hopefully, they are taking care of my concerns. The time factor is major for me especially since they’re not settling with the company and the company doesn’t know what’s going on. CreditAssociates wait to get the people at a point where they settle for less. The whole idea is taking a piece of the pod instead of trying to go for the entire pod. So, I hope that works out to the best interest of everybody.
It really upset me because I'm confused and do not know what's going on. It is something I don't understand and I have some confusion as to how it was being paid and what was going where and what I'm really responsible for. I'm not clear if in each monthly payment, a portion goes to the company and then the people who are collecting. Right now, the money in my bank is very tight. It's automatic debit and I have to have it in there before it goes through. So, that's extremely helpful to know that in advance.
CreditAssociates should improve on their communication and keeping me in the loop. I tried to call the other day and I couldn't get through. My phone has been acting up and it could be on my end. I don't know if they attempted to call me back but to know that somebody is there and keeping me in mind is very important and helpful. I got an email from them which said that they were continuously working with me, so that was encouraging.
Toni, I would like to clarify that we only contact your creditors when the timing is right for a settlement proposal and in order to do so, we must have sufficient funds available. I couldn't ask for any better plan than the three-year plan I was set up with CreditAssociates. I was in a little bit too much debt and I was very surprised how fast the plan is to help me get out of it. Their associate got it done really fast and she told me the amount I paid. Working with CreditAssociates has been really helpful and I can't wait to pay my debt off.

When there was an increase in my credit card interest, I called CreditAssociates and there were two people that I worked with. They were both really helpful and they took care of everything. The money will start coming out of my check next week and the week after, and hopefully, it'd be resolved from there. My experience with CreditAssociates is good and I'm very satisfied with them at this point.

The sign-up process with CreditAssociates went smoothly. I was told what the payment plan would be and I went with that. I talked to 2 different reps and both of them were nice and helpful.

I used CreditAssociates' debt settlement service a few years ago and it worked for me so I went with them again. This time, the reps were very helpful and answered a lot of our questions. They also helped me make the decision on whether to do the debt settlement program or file for bankruptcy. I didn’t wanna file for bankruptcy and I started with the program. I've been working with a very knowledgeable and helpful debt consultant.
