I have money going in to the account every month for CreditAssociates to negotiate my payments, and I've only heard from them on one payment that they negotiated. That was the Wells Fargo payment. I haven't heard from them since. I'd like for them to stay in contact with me more about who they are negotiating with. Also, my payment was $290. It's a little much, but it was okay.

They have been wonderful. They've really helped me out a lot. Anytime I've called, they were very helpful. They've already got two that they have paid off for me. I'd recommend them to anybody.

They were very straightforward and honest. Everything's easier with them because now, we’re lined up with everything being in one payment.

We've been paying CreditAssociates hundreds of dollars for two years now and nothing has happened. My credit rating is still bad and nothing has been paid off. I probably would have declared bankruptcy because my credit score would be higher now than it is. We contacted them a few months back and got the same stuff. So right now, I'm not happy.

CreditAssociates seemed like a good company to go with. They've been great through the whole thing. The rep I worked with was very intelligent. I was impressed with the way she told how I can solve my debt and figured it all out for me. Working with CreditAssociates has taken most stress off my shoulders. It's made my life a lot better. I’ve been able to keep up with everything that's going on. If I received something in the mail, I would just forward it to them. When I call them and check on them, they’d say they got it and they’re working on it. They’d been amazing. It's been a great experience working with them.

I contacted them about a month ago to know how things were going and everything seemed to be all right. So far, I like the program. I thought they were gonna get a bunch of the people to quit calling me. But I'm still getting them debt collectors calls. Also, it'd be nice if they'd send me a letter every now and then to let me know what's going on and what's being paid on. I hardly ever hear from them. Other than that, it's been all right. It helps getting the worry off for me.

CreditAssociates have made arrangements in three different accounts. Their reps called me and they were very helpful in letting me know what was going on with the account. I also have a telephone number where they can be called and then I give them my account number and they give me some information that I need. But we've gotten very slow. They explained to me that I was paying too little a month. This is why they cannot have enough money for the other accounts. I don't expect a lot faster payment in my account but I wish the results can be faster.

I went with CreditAssociates because they have a good record on successful settlement offers. But they are focused on their successful fee and not on the client. When their fee is paid off, then they focus on the client purpose, which from my viewpoint is not a good way. I've called them and they don't change their process. Other than that, the reps are doing a great job.

We're knocking our debts off little by little and CreditAssociates has been very transparent with possible offers, and then also being careful that the monthly fee doesn't get too bad with the offers because that's why we're here in the first place. Any documentation that we receive, we upload to the website and then they follow up. They get a potential offer from the credit card company in which they come back to us and we usually accept it and then it gets paid off slowly.

The month-to-month payment with CreditAssociates is cheaper so we've been able to handle that okay. Because of all the other credit cards, paying 100 bucks a month gave us a little bit of room. I talked to a rep yesterday 'cause I sent in a letter that Capital One was gonna take us to court. Other than that, a couple of them are almost already paid off so we only have a couple left.

I'm happy with what CreditAssociates has done for me since last year when I first called them. The payment I had to make to them was way less than what I was paying out, to begin with. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely call them.

Their reps were very professional. They worked with me on my payment plan and made sure that it was comfortable. I actually got to give them more than I thought I could. Other companies I've dealt with kept me in the dark and I couldn't stand that. Credit Associates kept me abreast of everything that's going on. They let me know as soon as a creditor accepts the offer and then when I accept it, my debt is taken care of. My credit score has gone up a little bit because of Credit Associates and I'm very happy with them. Go with this company.

CreditAssociates' program is a tough one because I have to make a lot of sacrifices. I have to put in money aside each month. I wanted to buy a house, but I could not even buy a house because they said I have a poor credit. The debt consultants are good and very knowledgeable. The only thing is the credit companies still continue to call me and send me letters every day complaining that I am not paying them. Also, my credit score is down. What I understood was that it will not affect my credit, but maybe I did not get them right. Other than that, my experience is so good.

I'm dealing with a lot of people on different things and CreditAssociates' level of communication is awesome. You don't have to ask questions. They just say, "Okay, we're changing this," "We've made negotiation with this," "This is what has to happen," This is how it's going to be." I'm really satisfied. If you're looking for peace of mind in getting all your issues settled, CreditAssociates is the place to go. Even where I keep my money in my bank, I didn't get this kind of service.

I liked the terms that were set and how long it would take me to get out the debt. However, I've had a few challenges with CreditAssociates. I felt pressured in that when a settlement is reached, I get a phone call telling me that they've settled it, however, can I pay more money? The last one was Stein Mart. They said that I owed $1,500 and Stein Mart settled for $700 but I didn't have enough in my savings account. I told them I don't have any more money to give them so I'll come out of the program. They said not to worry. It'll come around again and they'll negotiate it again.
I feel that there's something being pulled over on me and I'm uncomfortable with that. When they say they might need more money to settle, they're also covering themselves because they get a percentage of it. They got to make sure that they get their money but they should look out for my bills first. I'm struggling now to pay what I'm paying which is $538 a month. I went into the program with the understanding that in four years, based on the payments that I was making, I would be out of debt. I could easily come out of the program and go bankrupt and I don’t have a problem doing that. My credit is already ruined as it is so it ain't like I'm trying to get anything else. But I'm trying to do what's right and at least try to pay, and for anybody that wants to clear their conscience, do what's right and pay their bills no matter what the circumstances, CreditAssociates is great. Their rates are comparable and they've been very cordial. The person that set me up was very knowledgeable.

I called CreditAssociates and they gave me estimate but I didn't got for it. I wasn't sure that was something I wanted to do because my main thing was my credit and I didn't want to ruin it. After six months, I was struggling more so I decided to give them a callback and spoke with someone in Spanish which is my main language. They told me over and over the same thing and they convinced me.
It could be easier for them to be reached. I received a letter saying that I've been sued. I tried to upload it on the app but it said you cannot upload legal documents. I took pictures and emailed them. They said they were gonna get back to me within two, three days but it's been a week and I haven't received any notification if they received it or not. Also, there's still a company out there calling me often, saying that nobody has reached to them and I already let CreditAssociates know too. That's one of the reasons my credit score keeps going lower and lower. They're putting me as delinquent. Other than those, the program looks good for me. I have stopped receiving a bunch of calls from all the creditors that they have reached out to and worked on. They're already working on a couple of my cards.

My mother lived in California. She's a widow. When my dad died, she lost his part of the Social Security. She was getting credit card offers in the mail and to make ends meet, she was running the credit cards up. She was not using them recklessly. She wasn't buying outlandish things, but she was just living day to day. I went out there and picked her up and moved her to Florida because we kind of determined she couldn't live by herself anymore. We found out that she had all this credit card debt. My brother saw a credit relief ad on TV. I called CreditAssociates and we signed up. Signing up was great.
I get emails. I don't answer a phone if they're not on my phone, but I happened to answer one the other day, and they wanted to talk to me about a settlement. They wouldn't give me any information because I was not my mother. I have set everything up. I've got her power of attorney. I've got everything and they wanted to talk to her. I felt very uncomfortable about this because they called me, and they said, "Well, if you send us the power of attorney, blah, blah, blah, we'll talk to you." I never did it because they called me. It could be somebody else saying they're credit relief.

So far, I assume everything's fine. I don't hear from CreditAssociates very often. And I'd like to have a monthly print out. Also, I had a Discover card and I got letters that they were going to sue me and turn me over to collections. I faxed the letter to CreditAssociates. I talked to someone. And they said fax a letter and I did. I haven't heard anything from anybody since then so I don't know where that is at. Other than that, everything I know is doing great. A couple of accounts have been paid off, because I get a letter from the creditor telling me that this account has been closed. Also, my telephone doesn't ring off the wall every day.

Every time somebody calls, it's somebody different. I've never talked to the same person. They don't stay in touch. I just check my bank account and see my money is gone. I have no idea what's bought or where it's going, or who's being paid. It's hard to follow. There could be better customer relations than just getting one signed up.
The payment that was provided was good. But then, all of a sudden, they started wanting more and more money. The next thing I knew, it jumped up another $200. I don't understand why I'm on track, and then they say I'm off track and I need to catch it back up or they can't do anything. The explanation is kind of vague. All of a sudden, they want a $300 payment to keep things on track. They say they don't take my money unless things are cleaned up. It seems like they're a big go fast, fastball, getting a whole bunch of clients, and then that's it. It's like a headhunting program. They don't seem like they cater or have the customer relations that makes people feel comfortable that they're actually being taken care of.

I got a couple more and I was hoping to put more of that into the program so they could pay a couple more of the big ones off. I worked with a couple of people from CreditAssociates. The experience wasn't anything crazy. I feel like there was some left out information at first because I feel like we were kind of given a little bit of misdirection saying that our debt would be taken care of within six months, and it's been over a year. Our credit is completely horrible. We're trying, fully, to get it taken care of. And when we look at our credit reports, it's not reflecting what we were told. We’re almost halfway to paying off our debt. So, there's really nothing we can do.

They did it over a three-year plan but because my mom was not making the payments for the credit card, I was able to increase it monthly to get it paid off faster. The first guy that I spoke to was nice. He explained everything. It was flexible and wasn't a steep price. It wasn't like, “Hey, you have to pay this." Talking to a person this time and a different person next time is a little annoying. But they get themselves up to speed quickly as far as what is going on with my account. Also, the portal is clear.
The only thing that is sometimes unclear to me is how they have a separate bank account set up. I have access to it. But I have never checked it because usually, I can see right at the top, when I first log in, "Hey, this is how much money you have in the account, and this is what's going on.” That is the only part that is not clear because even when they settle a debt or when somebody offers something, they are transparent. I know what is going on. The only thing that could deter somebody was price. Not everybody is in a position to pay $800 a month. Other than that, working with CreditAssociates is straightforward. Versus having to pay out thousands of dollars in debt per month, I only have to pay out $800 or $900. That is definitely a relief.

I'm a little disappointed with CreditAssociates. I thought that they could make arrangements to start making payments on my bills, especially since they know they're getting my money automatically. But what they did was they took on my largest bill which took all of the monthly payment money. So then I'm not able to accept the people who have offered arrangements for a lower payment unless I add more money. We're during the pandemic right now, so I'm not working. Now I feel bad because I'm not able to accept any of the offers.
For example, my payment is $250 a month and they would have made arrangements to pay the larger bill $150 a month and left at least something to work with for a couple other bills that they could offer $50 a month to. But there was nothing left over to offer any of them. So every offer I get, I have to have them turned down or not do anything with. I'm afraid that they'll remove those offers of a lower amount and I'll lose out on those. At the same time, the credit score is being awful because those people have put it through to the collection agency. So I'm being battered and the money that I did have to send can't do anything to help.

And then we'll go from there.” And I haven't heard from that company again. About four companies have been paid off and that's a great relief to me.
CreditAssociates said I can go online and figure out how many I paid off. But right now, I can't remember all the ones that I had on the list. I had this one company that I only owed $175 and I paid them off, but they're still on that list that I owe them. But I paid them off with a check. Also, it seems like some of the other ones that have very small balances are still on the list. Other than that, if people I knew needed help, I would tell them to definitely look into CreditAssociates because my experience has been good. CreditAssociates has been upfront. They work with whoever it is that I owe and they get a set amount. Some of them, I paid in two or three payments, and then, some of them are extended payments. Some of them are easier than others. Some of them don't want to work with you, and some of them will work with you. Say I have a bill that's $1,000. When I get behind ‘cause I stopped paying them, then I've got the late fees and interest, and that’s $200 $300 on a payment. So, with that, they settle. And maybe the bill’s $1,000 and I settle for $700 or something like that, which they're getting a lot back, but then I'm saving a lot too. They're not losing that much.
As I pay some off, then they get more. They worked it out very well. The first year was hard when I did that because of the phone calls. But they showed me how to handle everything and so I've been happy with everything so far. They answer all my questions. If I need something, they take care of it right away. Right off the bat, they told me exactly how much the payment was going to be. They gave me a contract and I can go online and see what's being paid and what's not being paid. The program has been good because I have one monthly payment instead of a whole bunch of payments. Also, the creditors are not calling anymore and some of them have been paid off.

I was referred to CreditAssociates by a friend. When I first started, it sounded good. I thought the money that they were taking out of my checking account was going all to the creditors. I did not know they get a certain percentage of the money each month. That's why the process is so long and drawn out. It took them over a year to settle one account and I didn't like that. Also, they only work with one creditor at a time that's why the process is five years long. That's too long for somebody that's trying to establish credit. I don't like their customer service too. Some of the representatives are so forceful and can be rude sometimes. Each month or every two months, they would call me and ask me do I have more money to add to the account for them to pay the creditors. If I agreed to pay a certain amount of money each month from the beginning, that's what I'm thinking that I need. I never did think that they would call and ask me for more money every month.
I wouldn't refer them to anybody because they didn't explain the process thoroughly to me. I don't mind them taking the money out each month out of my account if that money is going directly to the creditor and not some of it going to them. There are a lot of companies that say they are gonna help you but they wanna be paid too. I understand that everybody has got a job to do. But for people that are already in debt, how can they afford to pay these fees? Their fee is 25% or 27%. I thought they were a nonprofit organization but they are not. My score went down further working with them instead of going up and I got more late charges. I'm still receiving wrong debt on my credit report. I'm trying to find another company to help me with my credit. As soon as I can find someone, I won't be working with CreditAssociates again.

My program with Credit Associates hasn't been as fast as I thought it would be. Also the method of payment that they use is not what I thought they would. I thought that if I was paying $100, they would be taking what they need to take and paying a constant rate to my creditors. But when I look at some of the payments, they pay very little at the beginning. If I give them $100, 80 goes to my bills with Credit Associates and 20 would go to whomever I owe. After I've done that for a while, Credit Associates starts increasing their payments to my creditors. So sooner or later, I get to pay my debt off. If someone asked me about this company, I would give them my recommendation. If it helps me out, hopefully the same thing will happen to them.

The rep was compassionate about what I was going through. He seemed to know his job. The only bad thing is trying to get ahold of someone with CreditAssociates. I talk to the people that were handling the money affairs of it. I got a text message that says they negotiated another one of my account, and I'm not good with the computer. So logging in, I don't remember my password, or if I made a password. I would just like to talk to somebody instead of logging on, because now I know a couple of my accounts have been paid off, but all you get are the people who are taking your money.
The rep said, “Well, with the amount of debt that you owe, and what you make, this is what your payment would be.” And I just agreed to it. In the beginning, I wasn't comfortable with the payments just because of the financial situation I was in. It was kinda high, but it has worked out great for me because it comes straight out of my checking account. I don't have to worry about, “Oh, my God. I got to send a check in, a payment in.”
I'm still getting phone calls from creditors. Steve told me, “Yeah, they’re gonna call you. Yeah, they're going to tell you that they don't work with us. Yeah, they're going to tell you this. They're going to tell you that. But, they just settled on that account.” I still got a letter from Discover stating that I was now in internal collections, and they were going to garnish my wages. But, it was just settled. I just put it in a round circle. I've worked with other debt programs. This one has been very forward with me. They have notified me when accounts have been settled. If somebody was in a situation that I was in, I would tell them to go with CreditAssociates.

If there were concerns, they would call me on the phone and I talked to them on the phone. I am okay with my payment schedule because it’s set up where payment is taken from my account every month.
The only problem I have is they tried to raise the monthly fee to pay off more of the debt, which was not in the original agreement. It was 300 something per month. I wasn’t pleased with that and I can't afford that because the set fee was already in place at 314. I'm now a year into the program and I have two years left to go with them. There are about six cards and only two small debts were paid off. I'm not happy about that. I hope by when the two years are up, all the debts will get cleared up. That paired with the fact that they don't get paid anything unless they do a service for me seemed to be better than what other people were offering.
I have had limited experience with them, but I remain hopeful that something good will come of it. They got back to me with an estimate where they had tried to negotiate a debt. I laughed at them 'cause they only got a few $100 off, and I haven't heard from them since. I only talked to a guy a brief moment just to get all my information and told me then what would be happening. "The creditors will be calling you. Don't talk to them, don't explain to them on what you're trying to do. Just say, 'Yes, I know I'm behind and I'll let you know when I can make a payment.'" I should keep it short and to the point. "I'll contact you when I can..." He said something in that manner. He told me, "Just keep it short. Don't stay on the phone with them trying to explain yourself on what you're trying to do." Then, once I build up a little bit of money in the account, CreditAssociates will discuss on what could be done. So far, it's been good.

The paperwork came through on an email and I just had to initial it. He explained everything. They go into the different accounts, talk to the creditors and they get the amounts down to a certain amount that they and the creditor agrees to. I'm putting $1,037 every month and they take it out of my checking account automatically. Global Holdings is the one that holds the money. One of the creditors said, "We don't know when you started, but if it's a for profit, they're going to keep collecting the money for a few months or more until they get what they want rather than immediately working on your behalf with the various creditors. So, it's lengthening the period of time that you're gonna continue getting late fees.” But at the set up, it was explained in the book that Global Holdings gets a $9 a month.
A complaint with most people is the telephone calls you get from the creditors and you keep getting those. That's the only thing that is a headache sometimes. It would be a good idea for these type of companies to, as soon as possible, contact these creditors to say, “This is what's been done by this individual. We will be in contact with you.” Most of these companies, when I tell them I transferred my accounts and give them CreditAssociates' telephone number, they say, “We can't call them. They have to call us with an offer.” But the whole process is very well and I know CreditAssociates is working on my behalf. They're great. They've been very helpful and they've answered all my questions. They told me the plan will take four and a half years. I've only been in it two months and so far, I'm very happy with it. It's better financially, doing it this way. I have no worries.

CreditAssociates gave me the best deal, and I liked the way they were very personable. They made me feel like they were real people talking to me. Their representatives were, like us, real people that have gone through stuff before. So, they understood the predicament you're in. I'm an older woman. I'm 67. I've always worked and paid my bills. Not only am I getting old and tired, but then, this COVID thing happens and I haven’t been working much. Times are hard. I have it easier than lots of people, but not being able to pay your bills really suck.
CreditAssociates is a company that talks to you and listens to you. I had another company do that too, and I almost went with them. But CreditAssociates gave me a better money deal. You call each other by first names, and they call you in-between times and check up on you. That was kinda different. It wasn't just a business. They make you feel like you mattered.

We were talking about bankruptcy and that wasn't panning out, and I hate to do that. We're responsible people. We owe these lenders money. So we didn't go with the bankruptcy and that led us to CreditAssociates. So far, we haven't been with them that long, but I really was happy to hear that they got right on it and settled two of my debts.
The gentleman I worked with was good. I was impressed with his accuracy. He seemed to really get what we were trying to do and really tried to be sincere and helpful. Working with CreditAssociates has been wonderful. Everything went smooth and fast, and they really seemed interested in what they're doing. It's helping us contact these people so I don't get such a bad credit issue. I know that they do want us to deposit more, which if we could, we would. But with some of the money we have saved, we have to do a roof repair and that has gotten delayed because of the debt. It gets me a little bit upset that I can't do a bigger deposit. I realize that this whole thing would go faster and we'd be out of debt faster, but I can't do it. We feel a little bit of pressure on that. But then, they're just doing their job and wanna help us get through this fast. If there's somebody else that's in the same situation we were, I would definitely recommend CreditAssociates.

I got a mail from CreditAssociates. I opened it and thought there had gotta be something more to this. I called them and there wasn't. I talked to Sue for an hour and a half. She was as nice and polite as can be. She answered every question I had and I had a lot of them. She wasn't in a rush to get to anybody else or do anything else. She stayed late to help me out. She also got my girlfriend helped out later that night or early the next morning. It was an easy choice. I was fine with the timeframe of getting signed up too. I just got done doing home refinancing. That takes months and months. It took a couple of hours or less than a day and it was pretty much two phone calls and a couple of screenshots. It was super simple.
Everything has been going well. Payments are coming out on time and nothing's out of place. But I talked with the guy handling my account and the initial part was a little vague. It's the same for my girlfriend. We both kinda came to the same conclusion and we signed up on the same day. They kept throwing out a number. My debt was $23,000 and they kept saying they would settle this for $10,000. And I said, "$10,000 out the door, like that's it?" The answer was always yes. But I get the paperwork and it's really about $15,000 after CreditAssociates' costs and things like that are included.
That is still fine though as it's still saving me money. It's not the end of the world because there's no interest. It's a flat number and I know what it is. But the people that answer the calls should say, "Your debt will get settled for $10,000, but our fee for that is about 5,000. So, you're looking at about $15,000 total for your costs to get out of debt." That would make it a little more transparent and less fishy.

I have a credit card that I've been paying on since 2014. I heard of CreditAssociates on the radio and I decided to give them a call to see what they could do. I spoke with Zach and I asked him if he could help. I have two credit cards, one of them was drowning me and the other one was sort of an in addition to. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring about the process, given that it is nerve-wracking. He explained fully how it's gonna negatively impact me for a short period of time and how it's gonna positively impact me over a long period of time.
After I was done speaking with him, he directed me to stop paying the two credit cards and to not be intimidated by them. He also told me to sort of transfer any money out of those accounts, just in case, to protect myself. From there, I got another phone call from a different gentleman. He asked if I had any further questions and informed me that they were missing pieces of information. I gave it to him and now, it's just a waiting game.
I don't like the idea of my credit being compromised for a short period of time. But as far as the pleasantries and as far as people explaining things to me, I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. My biggest credit card is with a credit union and I was told by other debt consolidation places that there's nothing I can do inside my agreement with that company. They won't allow any sort of debt consolidation program and this and that. I always felt very defeated with that whole thing. But to know that there’s a company out there that says, “We understand what they're saying, but everybody will negotiate,” and made me feel that there is some semblance of hope, that on its own makes me feel like one day, I might be debt-free.
Also, they're very realistic. They let me know the amount of money that would be put into that account and if things go the other way, I'm ensured that that goes back to me. All of it has been pretty comforting for the most part. It's a little nerve-wracking because I've never done this type of thing before but I feel supported by CreditAssociates. I understand this is what they do for a living and I'm just one of hundreds or thousands of people but it still felt like a personable experience. I'm optimistic about what they might be able to do to help me out and at the end of the day, even if they can't, because I have a creditor that just won't budge, I always appreciate the effort. As far as customer service and good bedside manner, I would recommend anybody at least giving it a shot.

This company is a complete fraud, nothing but crooks and liars. Most of all of the four and five star reviews are people like me that were promised everything would be fine in the beginning. However I am almost one year into the program and have to tell you they have done nothing to fulfill any other promises. When I enrolled, I was told that they guarantee they can settle all of the debts for around 50% of the balance owed at the time. I enrolled 5 accounts totaling over 125k. Seeing that in the beginning they promised wonderful things I also enrolled my wife and 3 of her AMEX cards a few months later.
When Amex begin calling us and we told him then we enrolled in debt consolidation they said they do not deal with any of these companies. When I brought it to a Credit Associates, they told me, as they have many numerous times, they deal with every financial institution and consolidate more than $100 million of debt per day. We received a letter in February that the Amex accounts have been closed and turned over to a legal firm for collections. When I called to tell credit associates this they said that is great news that they can then start to settle the account. When I called back in June to ask why nothing has been done they said that they never received the letter that I had emailed in February, however I have course had proof that it was sent directly to my account rep and was conveniently not put into the system.
I have received a call only seven months after sending them the attorney letter and they tell me that they are going to settle for approx 60% of what is owed. When you add in their fees that means we are paying back a total of over $8000 on an initial $9100 balance. This is over 80% of what we originally owed not 40 or 50% as a they guaranteed. Meanwhile needless to say as we have been waiting for now over 10 months for them to take action for resolving these debts both of our credit has gone down several hundred points to pour status and we cannot get any loans or credit cards to help us survive in this pandemic in time of need.
I had enrolled five cards totaling $125,000 in debt with these jokers. Only after more than eight months did they finally reached out to try to settle one of the accounts, and that was only because it was an American Express that had been sent to a collections agency and I had no choice but to take whatever offer was on the table otherwise they would file a lawsuit. One of the accounts that is enrolled was a line of credit, which after four months of delinquency the bank went to an adjacent checking account and withdrew over $4000 to pay for back payments and penalties and fees.
When I brought this to the attention of credit associates, they acted surprised, however they have told me numerous time they have worked with every financial institution and know every rules of debt. They told me to avoid this in the future to just close the account. I told them I have 4 business accounts with BofA and it takes a great deal of work with my (international) clients to change any banking info and this was not an option!
I once spoke to a supervisor regarding a potential settlement and I was upset with the amount and the fees they were proposing, and I declined to except it. He told me that he would speak with his team and call me right back regarding a new proposal. He did not call me back but I did receive an email & text l notification shortly after that the account was automatically settled. When I called a question why and how this can happen, they told me if there is a offer at a certain amount they have to automatically except it. How convenient that they lowered their fees just enough to get over this exception. But no one ever called me or followed up, they simply manipulated the system to auto accept the offer.
They have not done anything much in over 10 months because it is in their best interest for those accounts to rack up interest and fees because their fee is based on the overall amount. They have settled one account for me, and I now end up obligated to pay back over 80% of the original enrolled debt. I have called countless times during the duration of the program to find out why there has been no activity and they constantly make excuses between they need more time and they need more money in the account.
When I brought it to their attention if it were a possibility if I were able to increase my funding or add a lump sum to any more of the accounts if they close it quicker and they said absolutely yes. When I said why did you never tell me this they said but they have so many clients they cannot reach out to any one individual to let them know what is needed to move forward faster. And when I ask why my payback is going to be much higher than the 50% they promised, they tell me it is because I enrolled a very large amount of debt! Are you serious? They knew every single penny when the took on the accounts and still promised, quoted & put into my account the payback figures.
In the end we are not paying anywhere close to 40 or 50% but closer to 80 % of the original enrolled debt on the settled accounts, all the while ruining our credit that will take years to repair. Do not fall for their empty promises and “smooth talk" to coax you into the program. They simply cannot deliver on any of their promises. It is well known that the credit card will work with you directly to reduce or eliminate interest, as well as take a potential lower settlement before you enroll with credit consolidation or perhaps file bankruptcy. So unless you are in desperate need to enroll with this program, I would highly encourage anyone to contact the credit cards directly and try to settle yourself before ruining your credit because you will not save anywhere near what they promise you.

As I get stuff, if I have questions, I call, and whoever answers the phone is usually able to help me with no problem and let me know what's going o, and they handle whatever little thing I have going. I was just getting ready to forward an email to them that I got from a debt collector and I thought, “Let them let me know what I need to do with it.” We’ve had a very good experience with them. It has been six weeks and they already got one of our accounts settled.

As Joe Friday from the old Dragnet TV show used to say, "just the facts". So far....I have gotten from you guys, NO facts, about who was or was not contacted. Just a lot of generic emails about, how it works, which I already understand, or how good you are. What have you actually done for me, so far??

CreditAssociates' rep was very informative. He was straight to the point and gave me all the answers that I needed to make a decision about moving forward. It was great. He initially explained what it is, what it has done, the history of the actual organization and then how they could help me. And then, he went in to collect the information from me. I gave it to him. Once he brought up the account, he was able to tell me what recommendations he had and what options he felt would work for me. And then, we moved forward to processing. In terms of just being able to identify what my next step is for enhancing my credit and moving forward to my financial goals, it has helped me put that into better perspective.

CreditAssociates called and told me who they were. I was looking for someone and it kinda worked out over the phone. The enrollment was quick. I expected something quicker, but as far as I could tell, CreditAssociates hasn't contacted anybody. I’ve been getting calls from all the credit card companies and some still took cash out from my account. CreditAssociates took the cash out of my account too. Other than that, the experience was good.

We're fairly new to the program and we've been with them less than 30 days but so far, everybody I've dealt with has portrayed the scenario that everything is gonna be okay. They're all very polite and professional. The person who signed us up was Russel and he made it very comfortable and easy. He was very good at putting us at ease about explaining the program and going forward and how things work. It was almost like talking to a friend about it than just a stranger. I'm looking forward to good things based on what they told me. Also, if anyone asked, I would tell them to investigate CreditAssociates and see if it was a fit for them.

We've just started working with CreditAssociates but so far, our experience has been good. The reps explained everything to us the right way and I understood everything they said. They are patient and they have knowledge of everything. The price of everything was normal as well. In two years, I'll see how everything goes but I'm sure everything will be okay.

We knew we needed to do something and we didn’t know who else who to call. There was a commercial on TV and we decided to call CreditAssociates. From what the rep told us, he had been through the process himself five years ago and now, he’s working for them. He can relate to us and that helps. Our first payment came out today and this move is going to take a big weight off our shoulders. It wasn’t so much the debt. It was the interest that was killing us. 29% is just ridiculous. They don’t even give you 1% in the savings account in the bank.

When I first called CreditAssociates, Bryant was very professional. He put any doubts I had at ease and made it even easier for me to be able to move along with associating myself with this company. We ended up doing the credit and personal loan. He explained to me how the process was gonna work and what to expect every step of the way. He was doing the enrollment process and then I got a phone call a few days afterward for the welcome call. The guy who onboard was awesome and very helpful. They knew what they were talking about ‘cause they said pretty much the same things, what to expect and how possibly the credit union that I’m currently banking with will give me threatening calls, and then make payments and make sure it’s easier for them to negotiate my debt down.
The enrollment process was easy. Bryant sent me the paperwork. While on the phone, he explained to me that I would need my client identification number to sign in, and then create a password, and then put both my account numbers on there so that it’d make it easier for them to speak to my bank once it came time. I was told that it would take about 41 months for the whole process to be completed. My first payment starts in May. I plan on giving a lump sum amount of money shortly to speed up the process. The Navy Federal knows that I’m in good faith with trying to pay off this debt.

Nick was great. He’s a good guy and he went through all the documentation. I was reading through the application and through the contract and he was definitely very patient with me as well. There was a brochure that was sent out, then someone called today and he went over the same thing that Nick went over. They’re deducting on May 22nd $1,500 for two years. I also wrote down a number I was told to call if I wanted to double my payments to get it paid off faster. Nick called back a couple of days afterwards to confirm that he contacted Mastercard and the American Express company too.

I had done my debt through another company years back, and I also told him I knew how the program worked.

Sherry, the first person I talked to, had great compassion. Bryan was exceptional, extra soothing, and helpful. He even called me back with some information. And then the gal last night was very knowledgeable and helped me get on the website. She did a great job troubleshooting for me. Since I just started the program, I don't have any results yet, but I have a lot of information on the site and it has proven to be quite helpful.

The gentleman from CreditAssociates ran me through a form in a way that it would be filled out with him on the phone. I told him not to put any information in because I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the program and that I was gonna think about it. But a charge went through my bank. I had approximately three bounced checks. I received the information that the payment had been stopped. I had to pay the fees to stop that check and the other three checks that went back. Those checks that are not even worth $35 went back. There's no way that I can trust that gentleman anymore. It cost me over 100 bucks just to have him say that he's proud to be with CreditAssociates.

I read the reviews of others so that's what made me convinced and try the program, and the rep from CreditAssociates was great and very professional. He knows great customer service. He came up with 2 options for me that could pay off my credit card debts. It was reduced to about 40% of what I'm paying every month so that was a great saving for me. He walked me through the whole process. I was able to create my username and log on, then review my account and balance. There was also a follow-up telephone call after that. Contacting the creditors which they are still working on to finalize the bill could have been a lot faster, but with the situation right now, I can understand. The only thing is my credit report is gonna decrease but in 48 months, I could pay up all my credit card debt.

I canceled with CreditAssociates yesterday. I wasn’t comfortable with the way things were going. I understand it was only a month but Citibank, one of the creditors I talked with, said that they don’t work with CreditAssociates. Their clients need to check with their creditors and find out if that their companies are going to work with them. It says on CreditAssociates' website it could take up to six months for them to settle. By the end of the six months, all of those fees and all of that interest would have piled up. In the end, Citibank wouldn’t settle with them, which leaves me from a $2,500 debt. At the end of six months, I might be looking at $3,000 to $5,000. So, I needed to be more educated.
Everything was comfortable with the reps from CreditAssociates but it was just that I was able to gather more information. The guy at Discover said they had issues working with them. He pointed me in the direction of someone who could help me and because of my income, they don’t attach any fees to anything. It was just a little bit more money than what I would be paying Credit Associates and just a few more payments. They also brought all my interest down to 7.3%, and it was starting at almost 25%.
CreditAssociates gave me peace of mind in the beginning but this is a non-profit organization I’m with now. Everything that they sent me shows me who’s going to be paid, what and how much is going to be paid, and the interest rates that I’m going to be paying. It gives me a longevity and a projective of where my money’s going and how it’s going to be done. I am working with a debt relief, which I understand that my credit is going to be affected, and I understand that it’s going to take a little bit longer to pay it off, but in the long run, it won’t hurt my credit as much as the way I felt it was going with their company.

Credit Associates recommended me not to pay anything. This is the first time this happened in my life and I don't know what's gonna happen. Still, enrolling with them was smooth and easy.
