Community Tax was great. I decided to seek them out because of Consumer Reports. I looked at their reviews and they said Community Tax was very good. I owe the government money and they were able to renegotiate it. Their enrollment process was very good. They were very knowledgeable where I did not have any knowledge in that area at all. It made me feel very comfortable with the way they handled everything. They made me feel that everything was going to be okay because I was very nervous about it. They sent me all the information and we went from there. It worked out really well. I had to spend some money, but I felt that they did a good job on it. I got a good deal, too. I’m very happy with them. I highly recommend them to anyone who gets in trouble like I did.

Community Tax was in a trucking magazine and it said they knew about trucking taxes. They did a good job which could have been a little faster, but stretching it out was a benefit on my part. I was pretty comfortable working with them. I just paid them a little bit every month and I got my settlement so I’m happy.

Community Tax helped me very well, and I am happy. I liked my agent so much, especially his good customer care. They were very good at helping me with my payment plan. It was awesome. I'd recommend it.

I was in debt with the IRS and Community Tax helped me set up a payment program with the IRS and then a final payment where the IRS settled for an amount on what I had owed them. It took a few years to complete the program and the people that I talked to explained to me what procedures had to be done and how it had to be taken care with the time limits. When I had questions or concerns, they got back to me within 24 hours and a lot of times, I could get the answer immediately. The cost was also a fair amount for me to pay them to do what they did. They straightened out the problems that I was having with the IRS and they have also helped me with my yearly taxes.

My fiancé owes about $52,000. Our previous accounting made some errors on the 1099 and that caused the IRS to flag it and get an audit. It was realized that the person that was doing the taxes did it incorrect so we paid for it. My fiancé heard a commercial over the radio about Community Tax and we got in touch with them and then that got reduced to $4,300 so they were really, really helpful. It's a process. It took a year and a half for us to get all the docs on a roll but the IRS stopped harassing us because Community Tax took initiative in getting information. I chose Community Tax because I trust them and mostly, I could meet the same people, like Chris. Sometimes I got a different person when I call but anyway, they were honest. They were always there for me when I called them to explain some situation. They always said they would take care of it and they did. Every time that the IRS sent me some stuff, I just faxed or mailed it to Community Tax, and they've worked on every situation until now that we've gotten at the end. So they’re good. They've done what they could to help me out, and they've always done their best to work and get a resolution.

I agreed to do business with Community Tax Relief on February 5, 2018. Rex ** was my tax practitioner. After weeks of playing phone and email tag with him and never returning my calls, he sent me a letter stating my account balance was completely resolved. Then on April 2, I received a letter from the IRS telling me I had a proposed increase in taxes and the due date to resolve my full amount I owe. I called Community Tax shortly after that and was stuck with Aman ** who assured me things would be ok. Yesterday, after more weeks of hounding them and paying nearly $4000, she told me I did owe the entire $18,000 having to pay $200/month for 5 years. What scammers and screwers!!! STAY AWAY!!

I like the way the person that I talked with interviewed me. It was comfortable. The enrollment was kinda long, but I understood why it had to be that way. Also, the payment plan was a little steep for us, but they worked it out so that we can make it. It relieved the stress. And the tax agent was pretty great. I like her honesty.

There is a saying that goes, “You don’t know who your friends are until you’re in need.” While that is certainly true of casual acquaintances and friendly companions, we typically do not apply it to tax experts in any way. There is no expectation of compassion from your tax professional. Imagine our surprise and utter relief when, during a dark and desperate financial time my wife, Claire, and I were able to seek and receive dedicated assistance from Mr. John ** with Community Tax.

My experience was very good. I’ll recommend Community Tax at any time to anyone, which I have already been doing. I had used another company before and I didn’t reach anywhere with it. Once I saw where Community Tax could help, I realized that was the way to go. My case took a little while to come to a conclusion, but it wasn’t anything that Community Tax has done. It has to do with myself and how soon I was able to do my part of it. Once that was paid up and once everything was okay, it was just smooth sailing from there. The enrollment process was done initially by phone and then I got telephone correspondence in the mail which I responded to. I gathered all the information that they needed. They were able to put me on a payment plan once I was qualified for the program until whatever it was that I had to pay was fully paid.

Community Tax is awesome. I owed money to IRS and they kept telling that I owed this much. Then they started to say that they were gonna have to put a lien on my check. I help my kids and my grandkids which eats into whatever little bit of money I make. I saw Community Tax on TV and I called them. A gentleman by the name of Paul called me back. He told me to just send in so much money and we'd get started then. Everybody was telling me that Community Tax was gonna charge a lot, but they were reasonable. From 15,000 that I owed, I only owe them 287.

I didn’t understand what the IRS was asking for and so I needed help with that. Community Tax was one of the first ones were the reviews I found off the internet. We started about seven years ago with them and the enrollment process was pretty simple. We answered a few questions and filled out some forms. I've also had really good interactions with my agent and I was impressed with his quick response. Also, the cost of the service was good. We’re pretty close to completing the program. Community Tax was the most wonderful and greatest company I've ever had any dealings with. I would go on anything to promote them to help people who are having problems with IRS. I was thoroughly and certainly pleased with their actions and what all they have done to help me. Now, it's resolved and it's unbelievable. It was the best action I've ever done in my life. There was another company that I've heard over the radio and I communicated with them. But I didn't get a good vibe. And then when I called Community Tax, I felt the vibe was there. Then I found out that it was a local office so I can expedite my paperwork or anything that I needed to go there. They did an outstanding job. You come in, they treat you if you want coffee and they have doughnuts or cookies. It was just a great setting. People were always smiling. A lot of times, I walked in and I wasn't smiling because of the fear but everyone put me at ease. The people there were really supportive and I felt very comfortable.

Community Tax had good reviews so I called them and got some information regarding my tax debt. They explained my options, set me up on a payment plan to get me started and told me everything I needed to do to complete the process. The reps were very knowledgeable and always available. They returned my calls promptly. I was also very comfortable working with Theresa. She was the one I talked to mostly and she was able to answer any questions I had spot on. My debt had been settled and my experience with Community Tax had been seamless. They knew what they were doing and the cost was also accurate for the service that I received.

Community Tax has been very good to me. They do the negotiations for me with federal state taxes and they handle my tax returns. When I first started with them a few years ago, I was on a payment plan. I appreciate them being flexible in working with me. But now that they’re working on some certain things, I get different agents. But they just pull up my account and they work with me from there. I’m waiting on some things and now I’m going through some stuff on my state taxes and I never received a letter. But they have called me to let me know what was said and done. They do their best to make sure everything is answered and on point. And if I do have any questions, they would text or email me or call me back by the following day.

I have some problem with the IRS. I owe to them money and I'm trying to fix my income tax return. I heard lot of Latino people have used Community Tax and that they had a good experience with them so I tried it. The enrollment process was mainly a lot of waiting getting response from the IRS but everything was good. They based my payment plan on what I make, what I owed, what are my bills, what are the payments that I have and how much I have left to pay them and then we moved to where there was not very much left to pay. We took the settlement to them twice and during the first time, they kept going and then they redid it all over again and adjusted everything. Then, they finally got it all taken care of.

I had a good experience and they already fixed the problem for me. They are great people and they're so professional. They know what they're doing. The cost was good and fair. I worked with Michael, Marissa and Jorge. They did what they said they were gonna do. They also treated me nice and explained really well. They called me and let me know everything that was going on. I already recommended them to another person or a friend of a friend and they are working with Community Tax already.

Community Tax was supposed to be helping me with the IRS. They were supposed to put me into a non-collectible. They didn't even do that according to the IRS when I spoke with them. It was horrible. There's no good about them when it comes to dealing with the IRS because they acted as a middleman for something I could have gone straight, directly to the IRS and did it myself. They charged me $500 to fill out some damn papers for an Offer in Compromise. I went and did it myself for less than $30 because all I had to do was print out the papers.

I had tax penalties for my paid taxes in 2007. Community Tax was the one that we saw on TV. We called them and it was good for us. They got all my information, how much the debt was and then they went ahead and got power of attorney. They started speaking for us with the IRS and then instead of the IRS dealing with us, it was Community Tax and they were able to bring the debt down from close to $80,000 down to $859. So now, we're in the process of paying that off in payments after the IRS agreed to it. The only thing was we were with three or four people so we always had to repeat the information. Other than that, they did a great job in helping us reduce that debt with IRS. I give them thumbs up for that. Go with Community Tax because they would help you reduce your tax debt.

I hired Community Tax to do something for me, and they did a very good job. It was painstaking to start because it was a slow operation. They were limited and it was nothing that they can speed on. They get a heavy caseload with all the customers, but they did what I needed them to do. The agent I dealt with stayed in touch. And for what I asked them to do, the cost was not a problem. I'm very satisfied with Community Tax.

Community Tax provided me with a tax relief program. The enrolment process was good but I was scared at the beginning because if this thing wouldn't go through, I would have to keep paying and have to finance the amount of money. But they did everything and guaranteed to make it well. One thing I noticed was they change people a lot. When I called, I talked to one person then when I called later, it wasn't the same case manager and I wanna always talk to one person. But it was not a big deal. They have all the information there even if I talk to another person. The cost was okay. I thought I was going to spend less but it was worth it at the end. We finished the program, and although it was a poor start and it took a little while, it worked and I'm very happy.

My experience with Community Tax was a bit of a bumpy road but the end result was good. At first, I called them up and I was encouraged. I liked the language and the conversation that I was hearing and it made me feel like I was going in the right direction. So, when I hired them after we got the information that they requested, I was getting a lot of different people that I felt weren’t really aware of my case. They'd again ask me for the same information that I already sent them. So, I was starting to get really discouraged. That went on for a little while and I was getting upset. I was getting frustrated 'cause it just seemed that every time we got close to closing the issue, all of a sudden, they needed some revised edition of the bank statements. I wasn’t very impressed.

What I learned from Community Tax is what a pain the IRS is because it's a government agency. And the people over there understood that and all I had to do was to be patient and trust that they would get it done and they did. It wasn't like it was supposed to go but looking back, Jennifer represents the company and she's the only one I dealt and considering what she had to put up with and not knowing what I was getting into, I'd give her the highest rating. She's the lead lawyer. You could tell she deals with the IRS and she's the one I paid them to put up with the headache and dealing with those people. If I tried to do that myself, there was no way it would ever happen. It was almost an impossible task. If you ask me would I recommend Community Tax, the answer is yes.

Community Tax has done a good job for me. I owed a tax bill of $35,000 plus when I was overseas contracting and just got into a situation where I could not pay the taxes. I called Community Tax and found out they had a program that would reduce my tax debt to an amount that I could afford. Someone called me back and they asked me a bunch of information. I gave Eric all the information that he needed and he did what had to be done. Their original compromise was zero, but we couldn't accomplish that because I made some income. The compromise was settled with the IRS where instead of paying $35,000, all I have to pay is $1,500. Altogether, I paid $5,800 versus $35,000. It took a while but they handled everything I needed taking care of. I would recommend Community Tax if you're in the same situation.

Community Tax got my IRS settled for a little bit of nothing. I had to give my information of my income and my bills and then they put me on this program and they sent it to the IRS. They worked with how much I could afford to pay. At first, I figured it was kind of high. It took away a lot of my income but at the end, it was worth it. If I had a problem, I would call them and they would solve it. I've completed program. The IRS composed a letter and I have two more payments with Community Tax. Overall, I am satisfied. It was a big relief. I've already told a couple of people they should call and go with Community Tax.

I owed $35,000 of taxes and that was only before they filed my back taxes for six years. Once they filed those, it ended up being $71,000. So I sought the help of Community Tax. The enrolment process was easy. At first, I thought it was a misunderstanding because I didn't know that it's $700 just to get started with the program and then add another fee. I had pay to them over $7000 to do my taxes. But the misunderstanding wasn't their fault. It was another person who was answering the phone. But that person was no longer there. Connie, the lady who did my tax, was good as well as the lady who was over my case. But the guy, Lawrence was not so good at answering the phone calls and calling me back. I used to call this other guy's line and he used to help me more than Lawrence.

I'm satisfied with Community Tax. I got their service that dealt with tax and they were a little slow. And every Tom, Dick, and Harry I know of was calling me but nobody knows anything. My cousin got over to one person, we stuck with him and he got us in the right ballpark. That was the only time we got some stuff taken care of. The cost was okay. As long as I got Uncle Sam off of my back. I went on and paid them off right away. The only thing was they were messing around by talking to Uncle Sam and getting me squared away. It took them a little over two years to do that little stuff. But they did it and the program worked out so far. I ended up having to pay $1,092. And that all wiped it out.

I am so very well-pleased with Community Tax. They gave me a consultation and set me up on a payment plan. I never had any trouble with that. They took their money out when they were supposed to take it out. They handled the IRS for me. They accepted my offer and compromise. They sent me a letter, paid it and it was over. Tyler was the one who took care of me. He was a very awesome guy. They kept in contact with me. I never really had to call unless I had a question myself and I would get somebody immediately. It took about 10 months and it was done. Community Tax has got to be the best company and I'm telling everybody about it.

I was behind in some of my taxes a few years, so I needed some professional assistance. Community Tax is a good company to work with and they were helpful and easygoing so I have no regrets going with them. They filed my taxes from 2010 up to the date and they deal with the IRS. My balance was around $40k and now I'm currently in a Non Collectible Agreement where I don't have to make any payments. I was in hell with no money and I needed to be free of it. I went to Optima prior and I needed to put down a higher down payment before they do anything. The initial payment with Community Tax was cheaper, and I got their OIC service, the Offer in Compromise. Community Tax also does tax debt relief, tax preparation, and account and bookkeeping services, but I have mine.

I was getting my accounts held. So, I thought that I should better fix that. So, I called Community Tax. I talked to this one gentleman. He was pretty helpful and they figured that they could probably help me. Then I got to another person. They ended up sending in an OIC, Offer in Compromise. My biggest thing with Community Tax was I got bounced around quite a bit. Nobody really got back to me as quick as I would have expected.

My father owed back taxes and he was trying to get it down to as much as he could. When we had just started the process with Community Tax, they were talking about a different amount of money that was owed and that the process was done. That was when we found out there were two different accounts. My dad has a very common name and there was another person with the same name in California. For some reason, my father's thing got mixed up with the other person's. I was the person in contact with Community Tax the whole time and they kept calling me about the other Jose. There was even money extracted out of my account for the other person.

I owed the IRS $27,000 and I would have never paid that off or it would have taken me a long time because I work from paycheck to paycheck. So the cost I paid Community Tax was way worth it. I worked with a specific agent and she answered all my questions in a way that I understood everything perfectly. I paid the lawyer $4,500 and after 12 months, it was resolved. They took the Offer in Compromise of $70. I was amazed at how everything went through and I'm very pleased with their work and with what they did for me. I'm done with the program and I'm very excited.

I had an issue with my taxes but I didn't have time to spend time on the phone. I wanted Community Tax to do the negotiation for the program 'cause I didn't have time to do all that back and forth and that was what the person on the phone offered. But it was amazing that he said, "Here goes my number. Call me if you have any questions, any problems." But the moment I paid, all of a sudden, that number is disconnected and I could never reach that person back.

Over a year after retaining them and $8,000 sunk into this firm, I have gotten nothing in the form of tax relief. I now have liens against me, credit ruined and forced into a financially crippling repayment plan. The staff are arrogant and condescending and actually told me “They’re the IRS, they do what they want.” Stay away from this firm. I felt they were more of a representative of the IRS than me.

I called a few companies and Community Tax seemed to have the most reasonable price and I ended up going with them. They provided an Offer in Compromise with the IRS. The program has been completed successfully. The IRS ended up accepting my Offer in Compromise that they worked out with Community Tax. I'm just in the process now of just paying the Offer in Compromise that was agreed.

In the past, I hired another company but they ended up being really bad for me. A friend of mine recommended Community Tax and the moment I got in contact with this company, I had a good feeling about them. I'm really satisfied with the job they did for me. In the beginning, the agents I got were really bad. But then they improved. They had a new personnel or manager that took over my case and from then, things went smoothly until the very end. The new person guided me through all the process and answered all my questions. They gave me a good payment plan, too. Sometimes I have no money to pay them. So I call and ask them to give me a few days to pay, and they worked with me. Community Tax help me out and now, I'm done with the program.

When I called Community Tax and explained everything to them, they told me my options and I took it from there. I was behind on a few years of taxes and I wanted to get the problem behind me. The program got me relief of the tax debt I was in. I also got an Offer in Compromise which was accepted and so far, everything has been good. The person I worked lot with was very helpful. He was on it and he knew exactly what he was talking about. He told me exactly what direction to take and what to do. I did exactly that and it turned out a positive.

Community Tax took a $17,000 bill from the IRS and converted it to a settlement for something like $38.60. I thought the fee was high but the resolution was good and I was very pleased. They did exactly what they said they were gonna do. Today, you can't count on that and I certainly would recommend them. Everybody was super nice, very patient and understanding. The first guy I dealt with was a salesperson and then they put me with a person who could do the work. The second guy I worked with was an attorney. They were very low-key and reassuring and I had a very good experience. I haven't gotten the final IRS resolution letter but they said it takes a couple of months, and I got that they were considering the offer which I was told was a good sign.

The first guy I worked with at Community Tax was good. He set me up for the tax debt relief program and I got some really good results out of there. He communicated real good too. But then they sent me a letter stating that he quit. But I had a new agent and it worked out for the good. He was very professional with what they do. Community Tax worked with me on the payment plan. They came up with an amount and we mapped it out such that I would drop a payment every two weeks. It panned out real good. They pulled all my files and came up with some deductions. It worked for me so they are pretty good at what they do. They do good work and I was very happy with them.

When I initially spoke to Community Tax, the rep was very friendly and personable. Then dealing with Evan was fantastic top to bottom. There was a fee for jumping into their tax relief services and they were very open in communication about the cost and the fact that even going through this process, I may not change anything. I appreciated Evan's upfront honesty. The Offer in Compromise took 16 months to come to a resolution and the process was seamless, in terms of the work that they put forth, the communication that Evan had with me, and the data and information that I had to get back over to him.

I discussed with Community Tax what the issues could be signing up for their debt relief program. They did a background check to make sure there was nothing there other than what we discussed then they proposed what they could do for me. But I was very dissatisfied with my tax agent. I kept feeling that I kept getting blown off. I have questions still and I left them messages because nobody would return my call. I'm at the point right now where I could have made a really big bad mistake of choosing the wrong company. This is ridiculous and I'm thinking of finding somebody else.

To get my tax together, I went with Community Tax because they aired on the radio that I listened to. But I found out later that I shouldn’t have gone that way and should have gone with a Truckers Professional Tax instead. There was lack of communication and there was a lot of my information that they lost so I had to resend things like 6 times before they actually got it. I also don't really think they read and saw my texts when I sent them my information.

Their people always answered my calls and answered the questions. Whenever I couldn't reach them and I left them a message, they always returned the calls. I'm pretty happy with them for whatever they did. I owed to the IRS about $70,000 and they saved me more than 50. They helped me save a lot of money and saved me from the stress. They were pretty good at what they did. From now on, I'll be using them for my tax preparation and I would tell anybody who needs help with these kinds of things that Community Tax would be the best company to try.

We're in the construction industry. When the market collapsed back in 2008, we got into a bind with our taxes over the next seven years trying to get caught up. We checked out the reviews, people like ConsumerAffairs posting other people’s reviews, and Community Tax really had a great track record. We called in, and we were assigned a paralegal.

It was a big problem and he’s happy with Community Tax because they helped him a lot. The Community Tax agent did everything they had to do. They did a great job. We started a year ago and they say it's done already but we're waiting for the letter from the IRS so they can say it's done. The cost was okay and we’re happy. I can recommend them to any friend. They have to call and make an appointment and try.

Community Tax helped me work out a resolution for my internal revenue payment, and the experience was wonderful. I had some problems with my federal taxes internal revenue. I was not in the financial position to pay over $10,000. As I began to research, I came across Community Tax and thought I'd give it a try. When I talked to the first young man, he was very pleasant, very professional, very personal. So that was what swayed me. He sent me a contract and I looked over it. He gave me time. Community Tax is a good organization. They're people that'll help you get your life back and give you a second chance. They helped me settle with IRS. The enrollment process was easy and everyone was great. They were on top of everything. Ryan kept in touch with me and I was able to talk to him and figure out what I needed to do since I was getting solicitors and I didn't know how to handle them. There were times that I couldn't pay and they worked with me to make sure that my payments were fine with them. I started my payments last month and I have until June to finish payments. I got Community Tax after reading good reviews about them. They said that my unpaid taxes was $64,000. Their enrollment process could've been a little bit more streamlined though. I paid a $500 fee initially for them to review my case and then it wasn't until a couple of weeks after that that they told me what the actual fee was. That part was a little bit unpalatable, but after that, it was pretty much like clockwork. They were able to get an offer in compromise. I had to make payments every two weeks and the initial payment they were asking for was a little bit higher than I was comfortable with. They accepted a smaller payment.

I paid them over $6000 to settle my Tax Problems. There was no settlement ever made, they had me deemed uncollectible. That means they just put it off till a later date till I am collectible. That was not a solution. Because the interest keeps going. Very dissatisfied. So as I’m concerned. They stole my money!

It never went through until a year later. And then they wanted another $4,200 and something to get things going. I was disappointed at the time lapse. They told me it would take six months, but it took a year and a half to get things settled. They got the job done but it took them three times as long as they’re supposed to.

Every time I call Community Tax, it's impossible to talk with the person who is dedicated to resolve an issue. I understand the situation but I mainly talk with four different people explaining exactly the same thing. And some of the people are not well-trained and have no clue about what I'm talking about, or very slow and I have to wait. But in general, some of them have knowledge.

Community Tax did a good, decent job for the taxes I owed back. They got a hold of the IRS, worked for me in between, then for me and the IRS. It was hard to get a hold of their people at times but that was probably my own fault. Still, the cost was good for the service they gave. Others should check Community Tax if they would and use them if they want.

I had an unfortunate experience in Dec. 2017 where I received a letter that caused me to leave a very negative review. Shortly thereafter, I was advised of the error and it was explained to me what had transpired that caused me to receive the letter. I was also asked to please allow Community Tax to continue to which I hesitantly agreed. Now, I can say without pause. I AM VERY GLAD I DID! They did everything they said they would! I was self-employed for a while and my back taxes started piling up and I found myself not able to do the estimated taxes. A friend told me to try Community Tax. And so, I called them for a free consultation and they were very good at explaining to me how the process worked and I took a chance. The two companies that I had tried locally were professional businesses, but they did not give me that personal attention that I felt I needed to feel secure while exposing my personal finances.

I am retracting my latest review to a 5 star positive response. I called Community Tax Relief to help resolve a Social Security debt. When I first called there was a miscommunication between me and the salesperson. I didn't make it clear enough that I had a social security issue and not an IRS issue. Because of that misunderstanding I made a bad review on them but after talking with them and making them understand the situation they have done the right thing. They are going to refund my entire payment along with what paperwork they have. To me this was a perfect move and great customer service. I am sorry for the misunderstanding and I take full responsibility and not them. Thank you Community Tax for doing the right thing for me even though I messed up. Remember, when contacting a tax relief company make sure it's an IRS issue and nothing else.

My tax was almost at $30,000, and I knew that I couldn’t afford to pay them. So, I sought help, and JK Harris Tax, one of the companies I went with, went out of business after I’ve paid about $1,500. I’ve also paid half of the money to another company, but they couldn’t do anything for me either. So, I said that somebody has to be out there that can help me. Community Tax was the third company I went with, and so far, so good. My agent, Jennifer kept me posted on what was going on or what I have to do, and she did a good job. Community Tax did what they said they were going to do. They helped me a whole lot, and I would recommend them. Year hear what they can do on the radio, but there’s more to that, and you’ve got to give them a chance. It cost me $4,500. But, compared to what I owe, I can’t beat that. Also, you don’t have to pay them straight up. I’m making $175 payments on it, which is reasonable.

We started a little over two years ago with the service. After hearing a ad on a local radio station my wife called them since we had both state and federal tax issues. She paid $600 which was later called a start up fee and ended up paying about $9000 in total. During the time we were making payments my bank account had a lien placed against it three times. We called Community Tax and were told we could miss a week but had to keep up on our payments when asked about the state lien. Little was said except that they were working on it. In the last 6 months my wife's check has been garnished by the state.

I had a major tax issue that I needed to resolve. I just went by the Community Tax commercial and it sounded like they could help me with what happened. I had a job where I was handed a 1099 after I was hired and it was a job under the table. I'm being paid cash to help a guy and then he 1099'd me and it was a lot of money. When tax time came, the government gave me a bill stating I owed $12,000 in taxes. I just wanted to fight it and I'm still fighting it. I was doing my own taxes and I had no experience with 1099. It was pretty bad and as soon as I hired Community Tax, everything worked out pretty good. I paid them $4,000 and they took away a $17,000 debt so that was a pretty good deal. Then they stopped all the communication and the phone calls from the IRS which was a huge relief. I was really stressed out over that and everything got better.

I know looking for tax professionals for help can be very taxing (pun). Who to choose? How much is it going to cost? Can I trust them? How long is this going to take? Should I work directly with the IRS? We have no reservations on recommending Community Tax Professionals to anyone with any tax issues. Our relationship was a long continued one, with very complex tax issues. They were able to ultimately resolve a very stressful 7-year tremendous financial pitfall for us. We are extremely thrilled with their service and our outcome. I know Community Tax is not the only Professional Tax Services Company out there, but I really don't know if my outcome would have been duplicated. I chose right the first time. I would literally be in tears if I had to go through this 2 or 3 times trying to find the right tax professionals. Just sayin'... Don't take that chance. We don't really expect a Xmas card from them, but they can expect a Xmas card from us!

We have some tax problems because we had gotten some student loans our children had from the past. We took care of them where we wouldn't have to pay them back. We got the student loans discharged and then we ended up getting another thing that we still have to pay because it was considered income. We gotta pay $10,000 as taxes on the balances of the two student loans. Then we got a hold of Community Tax to see about working with us and getting it wiped out or knocking down a substantial amount and they were willing to work with us. They've always been pleasant and helpful in answering our questions.

I wanted to do my taxes and was looking for help, but I didn't know anybody to begin. I called Community Tax and they told me what I had to do and I did it. The last thing that I received was a letter from the IRS telling me all I had to do is send them $100 and that was it. I sent it on a Monday to the United States Treasury and that’s more than three weeks ago. I hope everything is over. I’m going to be 70 years old next October so what I spent was really hard for me but I didn’t have any choice. I did whatever Community Tax told me they were going to do and it took me almost two years or less to pay this money.

I had some back taxes that needed to be paid and Community Tax promised to deliver a lesser amount. I also filed taxes with them the following year, after I signed up with the initial. Initially, the team was hands on. Then a couple of months after, it fell off a little bit and I didn’t hear from anyone. They would stay in contact although not as frequently as when I first started the process. But they met their ultimate goal to get the tax amount down, and I was pleased with that.

Community Tax was very helpful in the beginning. They answered all of my questions, and concerns. After I paid my $600 for my case to start, nobody contacted me about my case. They were helpful before they took my money. Now I want a refund and handle my tax problems on my own, and they keep saying someone will call me but never do. I feel like the same way they contacted me before they took my money, they should at least follow up with me. I haven't heard anything. Very disappointed in this company.

I was just searching on the web and I talked to a couple of companies and they said that they could help. With two other organizations, I took it to a certain point where I could understand exactly what the charges were, what they were doing and how many years they’ve been in business. After I got it all together, Community Tax was a little bit more affordable and I felt with what I needed, they were gonna suffice so I was happy with my choices. However, some of their employees don’t put their numbers on the emails so I had to do a little bit of research once in a while to find out what their phone numbers were. I made three different calls to find out. Then my case handler was changed once or twice, so I had to ask their number out too and who they were. But I was always able to call the salesperson, the initial person I talked to. She had always helped me, direct me to where I needed to go and tell me who my location manager was.

I received a letter from the IRS themselves and went directly to them. Within a week and a half, they did an Offer in Compromise. I paid it and I’m done. The program seemed like it was dragging out and I just needed things done sooner than later because I want to buy a house in October. Other than that, I had a good experience with Community Tax and I've successfully completed the program. They called me right back and talked to me about everything. Everybody I worked with was always really good.

I'm having tax problems and I had to have some kind of result so I sought for the service of Community Tax. They did a great job. Every time I called, they answer all the question I had and I've successfully finished my tax program.

I received a settlement payment from my job which I had to pay taxes on. I did not qualify to Offer in Compromise so I hired Community Tax to see if they could lower my payment or do a payment plan. I sent them all my information. They prepared my taxes but they did not include the settlement information. I re-sent my information, they redid my taxes and included the settlement info. They asked me to sign electronically which I did. They then emailed me and said I needed to physically sign them and send them back, which I did, both federal and state. A few weeks later, received an email from 3 different people telling me I needed to sign them electronically again and send them. Again, I signed them electronically, cc'ing all 3 people.

Excellent! That's how my experience is with Community Tax. I had maxed out my taxes so I'm doing over the road drive and needed to get my life back in the right order again. I went straight to them and they did an awesome job. When I called, they called me back. They communicated with me back and forth with the information they sent out and things I needed to do during the process. I've got less stress and only had to do is move out and pay the last part I need to put before the end of July to get the program completed. Even though I had other people say that they weren't a very good source I stuck with them because I started with them. If it was going to fall, it was going to fall. If I was going to do a business, I'd use them and recommend them for that. They're a good company to use.

Had a tax situation with back taxes owed. Reached out to them to see my options. Told the first person I talked to I was not interested in a tax lien. Just wanted to set up payments at the lowest amount possible...after agreeing I gave them $700 to get started...they reviewed and came back and said I could either pay the amount in full or I could amend the tax returns to cut the cost and make payments with a TAX LIEN for $6500. $6500 to amend 2 tax returns? Talked to 3 different people who kept giving me the runaround and basically I just chalked it up as a loss. They took my $700 and didn't do anything but gain power of attorney and requested transcripts. Total ripoff. I hired an accountant and my problem was solved without a tax lien.

I was always working and I wasn’t gonna be able to file anytime soon what I owed the IRS. So I just wanted to get it taken care of. In the beginning, everything with Community Tax was good. Then towards the end, I wasn’t hearing from the lawyers anymore. They weren't answering the phone. Then they came with the offer and we came to a compromise that if I pay $500, then everything would be good. But I fully don’t understand yet because after I got the offer and compromise letter, I got another letter from the IRS saying that I still owe the outstanding balance. So I called someone from Community Tax and he told me to disregard the letter, so that’s what I did and everything is still good. I'm satisfied as far as getting the letter confirming that I only owe $500. When I pay them the $500, I should be able to file my income tax and receive payments the next following years. I'm good.

I owed a chunk of change for Federal and I was pregnant at that time so I tried Community Tax. At first, they kept up with the phone calls and then they slacked off towards the end. But their service was good. They were on top of everything. I'm actually at the last piece of the settlement, so I just have to send my last money order in with the IRS and then they should be closing the case.

Community Tax was recommended to me and they did all right. I went with them to see if they could get my tax debt relief down from what I was being charged for. They were able to do that but they’re still taking my taxes so I'm still not satisfied. The staff at Community Tax has been great though.

Once they put it on, I can't just have it taken off, so I'll play the game as it goes. Once the lien comes off, the report itself will repair itself.

But what was intriguing about it was the fact that I can get rid of the tax debt and I could clear with time. It took about two and a half years with the whole process. There is NO better company at tax resolution. They keep you informed and up to date on everything. Yes, it took 18 months but Jennifer is beyond amazing. And then they also gave me the email address and I had no problem calling it to help on my account. They made me feel real good. I’ve spoken to Michael, Jennifer, and a couple more people. And Michael was the one that really kept me feeling strong through the whole process.

I did some general searching and decided to give Community Tax a call. They told me to send a document I have received from the IRS two weeks ago. So far, the service has been good and if they're not around when I call them because their time is different from mine, they would call me back immediately. They answered all of my questions and I don't have to answer questions when the IRS would send me documents. I give the documents to Community Tax and they handle the situation. My business with them is not yet completed as they're still waiting for a fax from the IRS.

I wasn't pleased with Community Tax at all and really would not recommend them to anyone. First off, they bait you in to say that they can help you out with your tax for the price of $499. I paid $500 and they said they'll give me to Step 2 where I had to pay $2,500. By that time, I've put in $3,000 and I didn't want to quit because I’ve already put my money in. I've spent $7,000 for stage 3, 4, and 5 for them to do what little bit that they did. Then I've had about 5 different leaders and every time I call for a person, they would say, “Oh, I'm sorry. She’s no longer with us. Let me give you over to our other leader.” They can't call their clients to let them know that. So I contacted the IRS and the IRS contacted me, and I finished on my own.

All of our interactions with the team at Community Tax have been positive. I was happy overall, especially coming from the company that we had come from trying to rectify it to Community Tax. It was very refreshing and it got done quickly. They answered our questions any time we had to call and ask questions. They were very understanding, caring and excellent. The way that they treated us showed us that they really cared about the problem that we were going through. It was a pleasant experience.
