Daniel ** and the Community Tax team were very professional and courteous in resolving my tax issues. They worked directly with the IRS and helped resolve over seven years of debt from self-employment taxes. Will most certainly use them for all of my tax needs moving forward.

My rep was very good and timely. He followed up and got things to me in a timely manner. He was a pretty good guy.

I had a conversation with somebody from Community Tax and I felt very comfortable about what they were planning on doing. I had a couple of agents over the course of a couple of months and they did what they said they were gonna do. They told me what they thought it would come out to and it came out a little bit lower which I was very happy with. They were very helpful. They got the problem taken care of and now my job is to take care of the payments.

I've been very well satisfied with what they've done. Everything they sent me was needed. Everything was concise, very legible, and understanding of the legalities. There was no pressure on anything at all. Dimitria has followed up with everything and guided me through things. If I asked her a question and if she could not answer it, she had an answer for me the next time. There were some things I didn't quite understand and she put it in layman's terms to me. So I appreciated everything. She was phenomenal. She listened to everything that I had and consoled me sometimes when I was down and out. Anything that came up, she notified me as soon as it got to her desk. From the last time I spoke with her, it was nothing but a pleasant experience.

I had a good experience with Community Tax. The process took longer than I thought it should but the end result was okay. I had to provide a lot of data, but then it sat for a long time. They changed the people I was working with because it took long but all in all, it seems to have been okay. I had an issue with the IRS and that's behind me. So, it improved my life. I'd call Community Tax again if I had an issue.

I was in a situation where I owed the IRS roughly $140K due to my inability to pay taxes during several of the past years. I had tried bankruptcy and could not even make the payments required for a Ch.13 BK. As a last ditch effort I asked Community Tax to help me work out some sort of payment plan with the government. Though the government was incredibly slow in dealing with your request, I was finally granted a monthly payment I could handle. As many times as I called Courtney to see what was holding things up, she was always able to calm me down and reassure me that everything possible was being done. Thank you for that peace of mind!

The enrollment process was efficient and dealing with the reps was great. Community Tax took care of all my sister's taxes. Working with them was helpful. It straightened out a lot of stuff. If someone needs help, they’re the ones to go to.

The process of first communicating with Community Tax before one becomes a customer was amazing. They got right back to me. They called, emailed, and texted me. If I had any questions, they give an answer down to the minute. But once they got that money, I was bounced around from person to person. I could never get ahold of anyone. Every time I needed something, I had to send horrible emails. I also had to ask for a manager. And I had to escalate it every single time, even if I just wanted a copy of my paperwork. It was horrible and so expensive. I thought it would be all files and paperwork, 1,000 bucks. It was over five grand.

I called Community Tax and they said, "Well, let us look into it and we'll get back to you." I didn't have to pay anything, and when they came back, they said, "Okay. Well, here's what we can do. For $3,500, we can probably make this go away." That was very helpful. It was a bit of relief and they had a good payment plan. Community Tax worked with me. If something happened that I couldn't make it, they would take half of it and move the other half to the end. There are a few things on there that were squirrelly because what I understood to be the plan was, "Okay, well, you pay half of it, a minimum of half of whatever your payment is, or two-thirds." Because one time, I was like, "What? That doesn't make any sense because the first time, it was like two-thirds." Then, "If I had two-thirds, I have the third-third and I wouldn't have to worry about this."

The experience with Community Tax did not go very well because it seems like every week, I was changing representatives because I couldn't get people to call me back or respond to emails or follow back up on. So, I wasn't very happy about that. I had to call a 1-800 number and go to somebody higher within the company to find out who was gonna call me. Then maybe a week later, they would find out and tell me who would be my new representative. They should be more personal and have people call me back.

I love my experience with Community Tax. 500 something a month is a lot to pay but they cut it down to almost half. My rep, Christine, was very helpful. She went out of her way when this was taken over from Liberty Tax to Community Tax. I didn't have to submit any more of my financial information. Community Tax gathered it from Liberty. Christine was trying to cut me some slack, which I appreciated a lot. She even offered services for me to have my taxes done through Community for next year. Liberty did not offer me that.

We were very satisfied with their service and extremely happy with the outcome! I would definitely recommend Community Tax to a friend. We were updated throughout the entire process. Updates came by email and personal phone calls. Not overwhelming at all. You can rest while they handle the work with the IRS.

Everything was done over the phone. All the agents that I dealt with were very friendly and willing to take the time to explain stuff to me that I didn't understand. They all kept me up to date. Emails were sent to me. Even though I had different reps, they all were knowledgeable of my case and they took it completely out of my hands as far as not me having to deal with our IRS.

I had a junior advocate and she was very accommodating when I needed to talk to her. It was a long process which took almost a year, but that's to be expected. And I'm just glad it's all over with and everything is settled.

The reps at Community Tax were a little rough in the beginning and a little matter of fact because this is new. I didn’t like how it first started but I was being patient. I had a lot of questions and all of them were answered but this was a lot of money. A lot of things were being worked on and I felt like it was taking a long time because of COVID. I always felt like I was bugging them. I didn't like that at first and I brought it to their attention. I had Chris in the beginning and some other person that never responded to me. They never responded when I got transferred to them. I responded three more times and finally, Chloe reached out to me and she was very good. The process took 11 months and we were able to avoid the lien on the house but I didn’t get a discount. I’m doing more of a payment plan. The resolution was not to my liking but it was good enough.

Overall I can say that my experience with Community Tax was very good! Everyone on my team was very professional and they seemed very genuine in helping me get a resolution to my tax problem. Especially Stephanie, she was amazing! Thank you so much guys!

Community Tax is a good company to deal with because if I have any questions or any information I need from previous tax purposes, they are always there Johnny-on-the-spot. They either answer the call or if they didn't have the answer at the time, they get back to me with the answer. I would recommend them.

When I talked to the gentleman from Community Tax, it seemed like a really good idea. They wanted to charge me $2,500 for help and I did agree to that. They still hadn't resolved anything, but my situation changed. Then they wanna charge me another $3,000 to do the same job they were already paid to do. I got hurt at work and my income changed. They said that because my situation had changed, it was going to cost $3,000 because they have to file all kinds of different stuff. They were saying that they had done a lot of stuff in the background. I never saw any of it but they had said that they could get me on a payment plan. That was well over what I could even afford.

I did a google on tax, then I did the reviews and found that Community Tax had some good reviews. When I had a conversation with them the first time, they were super responsive. They were very goal-oriented in order to take care of their client and the rep, Courtney, did a superb job. They told me that the timeframe would be dependent on the information I gave, then we got down to the nitty-gritty of what the IRS was willing to accept. I had to add a caveat of my living and working situations and as soon as they heard that I would have the inability to repay anyone in the fourth year, they came out with a very positive result. In other words, I didn't have to pay any tax. It was excellent and I was very happy.

I called them over the phone and spoke with one of their reps. She explained everything to me and had me send some information for me to get an idea of what it would cost and how long it would take. The cost was steep up there, but that's pretty much what you have to expect. With the pandemic going on, they cleared everything up quicker than I thought it would be cleared up. Community Tax's message over the radio was clear. They said there would be friendly people ready to help out. The enrollment process was easy because I choose my native language that is Spanish. I talked with the rep Ruiz and he was very friendly and helpful. When I first heard his voice, I trusted him and that was key. That was the best part of that enrollment because I knew that person would help me out and would not mislead me.

I had a company out in California and they just took about $8,000 or $9,000 from me and didn't do anything for me. I was in desperate need and I called Community Tax and from day one, they've stayed pretty much on top of things up until the Coronavirus hit and things kind of like put a damper on them because they work for the IRS. It just got things prolonged, and then they had a personnel change. But other than that, everything went fine. My case is being resolved as we speak. I have been with Community Tax for many years now. They helped me when I got into some tax troubles about 9 years back and I couldn't pay what I owed at the time. I made the mistake of getting paid under the table while receiving unemployment many years ago. Because of my work situation at the time I could not pay what I owed, so I was luckily put on an economic hardship type plan. It worked for me even though I was trying to make more money year after year. The resolution allowed for me to be sheltered with my low income until either I was able to pay what I owed in full or it expired after ten years.

The process took a lot longer than I anticipated. It was almost two years but I get it. Occasionally, as they were going forward, they had to contact me and get some additional information. I got them whatever they needed each time and they kept in contact with me pretty good. Everybody that I dealt with was super nice and knowledgeable on whatever I needed to know.

At first, one of the people helping me failed to inform me about a couple of things and that set me back a few months in my process. I thought I had already submitted enough information. He told me he needed such and such information to be able to proceed and finalize my case. I also thought I had sent all the info needed, but it turned out that I hadn't. The gentleman reached out to me weeks after, asking for that information, and I wasn't aware that he needed that. He just failed to properly inform me of what I needed. He was waiting, and I didn't know he was waiting, was what prolonged the process.

My husband was in deep with past due taxes and Community Tax service representatives were able to relieve the tax burden we had. In a most recent call, the IRS was sending letters that his account and property were going to be levy. Although he has no property we were still concern. Brian was able to hear our concerns out and he immediately took action. I am very please with their service.

To be quite honest I thought our experience with Community Tax was going to be horrible because the first person assigned to our account ended up quitting or getting first but when Miss. We were hit with an unfair tax burden and I thought that Community Tax would be able to help us lower it. The enrollment process was easy but it fell into a nine-month delay. There were lots of excuses and we got handed off to about three separate representatives. Then, it seemed like you're not working with the person that's handling your case very much. I wasn’t pleased with it, especially since we effectively paid the money upfront. We just now got it resolved starting back in November. Our first payment is due and it’s coming out this August. The entire process was not handled very well and, in the end, they didn't lower the tax at all. They just acted as the negotiating party to set the terms.

I would recommend to a friend, Community Tax did what they said they would do, my situation was resolved in a few weeks. From the beginning the process was explained and the agents at Community Tax came up with a plan. Now I can sleep better at night.

I have been with Community Tax for a long time. I owed probably $50,000 and they did a program with the IRS. I stayed with them because the person I called five years ago or so helped me to stop the levy. The IRS was gonna be taking money out my paycheck. That was the reason why I started researching for somebody to help me. Since I'm in Houston, I wanted to try to get somebody in Houston so I can go up to the office. I've been working with Community Tax for quite some time, and they're handling a lot of my tax issues and stuff like that. I've had good communication throughout the whole time. I had a pretty deep tax issue that needed to be dealt with, and part of the problem was myself. During the time that I was dealing with it, I was going through some pretty serious ailments, and I was in and out of the hospital for surgeries and stuff like that. They were having trouble getting paperwork back in on time. So, some of the issues ended up taking a little longer, which ended up kind of costing me a little bit more money because I kind of let things fall through the cracks. Towards the end, I was getting good feedback. They're trying to resolve some issues right now.

They knew what they were doing, so I followed the instructions. They helped me out a lot. I got the results that I needed, so the program worked out for me. I liked it. It took a lot out of my mind. Their reps were good. It's good when you when you get someone on the phone that you could understand. But a lot of them, you can’t understand when they're talking, so I tell them that I don’t understand a word they're telling me so they got to call me someone else that speaks a little more fluently. Overall, Community Tax was good and clear, and they explained everything to me, so I’m happy with them.

I've been using them to do my taxes, but the last year or so, I've been getting taxes done down in Mexico with somebody and it's hard to get in touch when I needed them. It takes them a while to get back with me and then, I have to go through a chain of command to get to the person that I needed to talk to. So that's been a kind of ongoing thing. It wasn't too good. I like to deal with one person and not a whole community.

I called their number and I was able to get whatever needed to get done done. The program is very good for me. I had an issue with taxes and I was able to get that resolved. They called when they needed to call, and then made sure I got email or messages. The rep that I talked to made sure I understood everything. I was able to maintain working and I was able to make the payment on wherever first we make payment on. I was very, very, very comfortable working with them. Working with Community Tax, I liked having someone trusted to know how to do the taxes and do it properly. That was what I was concerned with because I know nothing about doing taxes. Community Tax helped me file my taxes and helped me with getting assistance with the IRS with old taxes that were due. Community Tax kept me out of trouble with the IRS. They ended all my sessions with filing taxes. I had two options for the payment plan, a one-time payment or make monthly payments for two years. I didn't have the initial amount of money to pay it off one time so I went with latter. It's all good.

I was able to get through to Community Tax easily and each of the reps was very responsive. Every once in a while, it took a little while for somebody to get back to me but on the whole, they were there. They had the information that I needed. You can't write that off and I was not in a position to be paying the government a bunch of money. So, I didn't file. I had seven years of taxes that I hadn't filed. They're my accountants now and they take care of everything. Community Tax couldn’t have been better. I gave them all of my debt and income and they figured it out for me and away we went.

It was hard to get in touch with the first agent I worked with. It took awhile for him to even get my case started. I started in November and Community Tax is just now doing my taxes. So, it's been a slow process. They got me down to $100 a month for the first year on my payment plan and then 500 a month for the next years. We're still trying to get the IRS thing because I amended one of my tax returns and once that goes through, then I won't owe as much. So, it might work out.

When I called Community Tax, they were really good to calling me back and giving me information. But after I paid my money, it's been hard for me to get in contact with them. At first, they told me that it was this lady that she probably was not working there anymore or she was on vacation. But as a matter of fact, we had a call yesterday with her. She told me she was sorry about what had happened and that they weren't calling me back. I told her, “Well, it's been about two months, and I've been waiting for y’all to let me know what I need to respond about the IRS. Do I need to send the letter back? Or do I let y'all take care of it or what?" She goes, “I'm sorry. Go ahead and sign this in the back and tell me you agree with the amount you owe. So then I can deal with them.”

I've had to reach out to them multiple times to follow up on the status of things. Haven't heard anything as of yet.

I had some back taxes I owed the IRS so Community Tax helped me settle some of that debt. I'm comfortable with them. Their rep was very professional. They also set me up with a comfortable monthly payment.

On my end, I got very nervous about this and they always put my mind at ease and said, “We’re gonna take care of it. It’s gonna work.” They were awesome. I’m very satisfied. I've had 2014-15 taxes that I didn't file and I was looking for some assistance with the IRS. Community Tax helped me out pretty well and I appreciated it. I came back to them for this year too. They answer when I call. The agent explained everything in detail of what to expect from the IRS, and if there were any questions, give her a call and she could help me with whatever questions I had. I would highly recommend them. They're on top of whatever needs to be done with the IRS. As far as communications of feedback and stuff like that, it's very great. They let you know every detail.

Community Tax got a payment plan set up and didn't save me any money. I was looking for some break on the penalties and interest, and then get in it. I was dissatisfied with the settlement, but I was satisfied with the tax prep. The people were very polite and reasonably responsive when I would give them a call. It was somewhat difficult to get in touch with anyone. But aside from that, they're okay. It's just if I got in trouble with taxes again, I wouldn't use them.

Community Tax was cost-effective. Then out of everybody that I saw, they had an okay rating, kind of misleading a little bit, but most of them are bait and switch. I paid them to do what I could have done by myself. It took them a very long time to get it done. One service tax to be done shouldn't take that time. I was out of work for two years and then I had to go into my 401(k) and all that tax build-up. I thought it was gonna get some of the debt off and they didn't get enough. I owe $44,000 and it was pennies on the dollar, but I didn't qualify for that, so now I'm paying $480 a month as my tax bill.

Why is this thing not done? I keep telling these people that I work for the IRS, they hold us to a higher standard. I have to make that deadline. I talked to Hugo on the phone yesterday and today. He said he was waiting on something for me to complete. I told him that he should call and tell me that. He said he would send me a questionnaire. I started filling it out. Then it went to asking me about how much taxes I had paid for my house. I already sent them all this information two months ago. Well, I sent it all to Hugo again. He sent me a message back saying he needed something for my daughters and he needed to know if we had received a stimulus check. Well, I've already told him this. Still, I sent him the information again. He's supposedly preparing it now. I hope that they will be done and have everything ready for me to review it today. But then, even with trying to get some type of plan with our taxes for 2018 and 2019, it was just crazy.

Community Tax is taking forever and not doing much for me. I don't have anything resolved and I'm not very happy at all. I think I have to pay another money for somebody else to take my case because Community Tax is dragging for over two years and nothing has changed. I've been telling them that they are supposed to talk to the guy handling my taxes. It has been over a month and they've never done it. Their follow-up is not very good. Sometimes, they say they're gonna do something but it never happens. When you call them, they have a bunch of excuses for you. Every time that you call somebody there, somebody is on vacation. Then you try and speak with somebody else and it's their day off. The cost is high. They charge and charge you and after they collect their money, they start dragging your case for years. Nothing gets done on time, the way it's supposed to.

Community Tax helped me in everything. I waited a long time, but they fixed my problem. I can send the money for paying the house. Everything is good.

I reached out to Community Tax, LLC. from Chicago, Illinois back on November, 11th 2020 in search of Tax Relief Services. I had received a lien or wage garnishment letter, and I knew I did not owe as much as the IRS says I did. I didn’t want to fight the IRS myself, when I could have Tax Practitioners do it for me, right? My case was untraditional as I'm more hands on than most. Community Tax did an investigation into my tax issue as part of their phase 1 program. I have to say that you can't get a CPA to look over your complete tax record for $250.00 as their phase 1 costs. I think more of the money might be made through phase 2 and negotiations with Federal and State agencies. They are creating a new standard for the industry and customer best interests come first.

Contacted this company Jan 2020 to help handle unfiled taxes and owed payment. It wasn't until May that I was contacted to complete a financial questionnaire. I did so. I followed up in June. Response - "working on it". I followed up in August. Response - "just got back from paternity leave, working on it." I followed up in September. Response - "Trying to get caught up. Working on it." In December I received a letter from the IRS that I have 1 month to pay or they will begin seizing my property. I emailed Community Tax right away. Response - NONE AT ALL via email. I received a phone call from somebody completely different to fill out another questionnaire. I already did this. I called back and left a message. It's been over a week. No response.

I had some issues with the IRS which Community Tax helped me with. They helped me get things put together and get caught up and try to move on. They’re very professional. They didn’t just take my money and not answer my calls. They did what they said they would do, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. If you're in a similar situation, you would get the same set of professionalism that I received.

I owe so much to the IRS. It was going up instead of down. I did call another company and for what they wanted right up front, I could have just given that to the IRS. It was too much and I couldn't afford it. Community Tax was lax and more lenient where I can make payments. They called and kept me updated. I've been up under three of their reps at least and all of them have been very nice and informative to me. A lot of things have to go through the process but it didn’t drag out a whole year. They were reasonable and I'm glad that they did help me. They did the best they could for me. I'm on a payment plan but it wasn't so high where it would take me years to pay it. Also, it was an affordable amount and I should be finished paying them soon.

I called Community Tax and they explained to me the process and how they work. The second call was to ask me about my finances. Signing up was easy. They’re gonna help me to pay not too much. I wanted more flexibility because I pay 1,000 something per month right now which is too much. But they told me that if I want more flexibility, probably I have to pay a little more. I have to wait for what is gonna happen with my case. They told me that it takes four to six months that we’re gonna wait for the response from IRS.

The people from Community Tax were really nice to me and the last lady I spoke to was really helpful. She always kept me up with info. Every time I need her to talk and ask questions, she was there for me. The enrollment process was good. They worked with me on my payment plan and at the beginning, I was told I was gonna be helped with my federal and state process, which at the end, they only helped me with my federal tax and not with the state. So on that, I feel that I was lied about. Because now, in order for me to fix the state tax, I have to go to another process, which from my point of view, I was understood that Community Tax was going to take care of that as well. But I was told that once I'm done paying all my federal dues, I'm gonna get a discount for my California Tax. Everything else was really good. Community Tax helped me a lot to take care of the problem and I will recommend them.

The program was kind of stretched out a long time because of this Coronavirus thing and it's kinda expensive. I wound up not owing much more than what they charged me. But they got it taken care of. I got it set up on payments and paying the back taxes that I owe a month ago.

The IRS was gonna garnish my wages and so I was really worried about it. I contacted Community Tax, and they were able to stop that garnishment before it started. The process took about three weeks. So, they're pretty fast. The enrollment process was good. They were very engaging, let me know everything that was going on and kept me updated on everything. They even faxed in what needed to be faxed in on my HR department payroll to stop that garnishment.

Community Tax took care of me. The enrollment process was good and easy. I owe a lot of money today to the IRS. Community Tax talked to them and made the best deal for me so I could make upfront payment. The guy explained step by step everything that I had to do. I had a payment plan before and they put whatever I had to pay before together. I was thinking that their payment plan was gonna be more but it was good. I recommended one of my guys to them.

I was working for a contractor and I didn't really know how the taxes work back then. Then I came up to a lesson after two years and then started working for a company where they started taking my taxes. I haven’t filed my taxes until my third year 'cause they said I could do it two years in a row. Once I finally did it, I found out that I owed more than $10,000 to the IRS. So I had to call Community Tax to fix my problem. They worked with me each month, which was nice. But now that it has been resolved in a way, I still got a letter from the IRS a couple of days ago telling me that I still have to pay them back. Everything’s good with Community Tax. I have a couple of friends that went with them and they like the way they work. They told me to go with them too. The one I always talk to is Elizabeth. She’s great. She’s always calling me and letting me know what's going on. She also tells me to wait, and if I get any letters, send them to her and she will fix it. Right now, we're waiting for the IRS.

I had some income tax issues. Community Tax had good reviews and their agents were great. They would contact me, text me and leave a message if they couldn't get through to me. They were very polite and so helpful. The quality of their service was excellent. Working with them has helped me tremendously. The stress level completely dropped because they were assisting me. Community Tax has been great and I didn’t have any problem with them. They worked with me in the beginning and the enrollment was so easy. I did everything via email, except for the proper paperwork, and it went smoothly. But I requested several times for a hard copy of the tax settlement from the IRS and I still haven't received it. They sent me an email, but when I was trying to archive it, I deleted it. Other than that, working with them made me feel much at ease.

I've been trying to search for the best tax company that could help me with my tax problem. Fortunately, I happened to watch a TV ad for Community Tax and I decided to choose them based on that. I talked to a Community guy on the phone and he was very detailed on what he was telling me to do. They explained things fairly simply. Community wasn't the cheapest but part of the reason I went with them was because they offered me a payment plan where we can do it over two years and take a payment plan. The other company wanted me to pay $6,000 right upfront. Obviously, I was calling them because I don't have a lot of money. If I did, I would just pay the bill.

Feeling that it was right at the moment, I availed of Community Tax' services and it was a good decision. They got my tax situation strewn out and it didn't take them as long as I thought it was gonna take them. The guy that I was dealing with got me in and out. It didn’t take long for him to do what he had to do. He was there any time I called him and he was nice and respectable. I had no problems with my payment plan too. Anytime I was late on the payment, I contacted Daniel and he contacted the other party. We would get it taken care of.

Daniel was the most helpful person ever. He answered all of my questions and gave me his direct number should I have any other. He walked me through the process step by step and at the end my tax resolution was resolved. It was so easy and I would recommend this company and especially Daniel ** to anyone who is looking to pay down a lump sum of taxes owed into small and manageable monthly payments.

I got several years of taxes in the rear and I wanted to get caught up before the IRS caught up with me. I checked the Better Business Bureau and saw Community Tax had an okay rating. I went with that. It is expensive and I can see where it would be prohibitive for other people. For me though, the cost was okay because I wanted it done, and I didn't wanna do it. Plus, I so happen to have the money at the time.

Community Tax's service was okay. Their enrollment process was pretty easy. Most of their agents were pretty good. They all got back to me. There were some hold-ups, but most of it was pretty good. I thought I could get more than what I did, but I'm happy with what I got. I've heard advertisements and they said that they could get pennies on the dollar instead of what I ended up paying on the full tax. I got rid of some penalties. As far as the payment amount, I thought maybe there would be more choices, but there wasn't. They only gave me one choice. But I'm okay with it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done it. Working with Community Tax got some pressure off me. They also did my taxes last year and I think I got money back, so I felt that was pretty good.

After having some health issues in past years, I ran into the issue of owing the IRS some back tax dollars and penalties that had accrued. The IRS was sending me "Nasty letters" on a weekly basis!!!! I contacted CT.... CT reviewed my situation, proceeded to gather my tax info and present a plan to the IRS for a resolution. CT received an agreement/settlement from the IRS in a very short time and took a ton of pressure off me. Thank You CT!!!!

Community Tax sounded real good. They did okay for a while. I had paid them all this money, and when I checked my account two weeks ago, the IRS took some money out of my account. When I talked to the lady the last time, she said that I qualified for that debt forgiveness and I wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore. But when I checked my account, I called the bank and they said that IRS took $50 out. I called on a Friday and Community Tax said they will be closed that Monday and leave a message. I left a message and I never heard back from them. They just told me they would get back in touch with me last week because they were closed on a Monday for some reason. I never received any paperwork from them either.

Optima's rep put me on hold and this and that, and it just took too long. It was 30 minutes. And I’ve talked to three different people, and they kept pushing me to somebody else. So, I just hung up and called the next one, which was Community Tax, and they were right away, just boom, boom, boom. I dealt with this one person. When I had questions, Community Tax likes to get several people that would analyze the case. And the one that always contacted me could never fully answer any of my questions. And then, somebody would always have to call me back with the info who immediately answers all the questions that I had. It was weird. I dealt with a person at the bottom of the rung.

There were pretty good reviews about Community Tax. Enrolling was pretty much a call. There was an initial screening and they were willing to see if I qualified for the program. I then received pretty good service. The reps were helpful. I’m finished with them. I would recommend them.

My husband heard about Community Tax through the radio and he called them. Then, I was the one that got with all the services. The customer service has been great. Raul, the rep, is very easy. I do the process through email and he responds to me right away. In fact, I have sent him some documents. So, he's very flexible. If he happens not to be in his office, I leave him a message and he gets back to me as soon as he can. Community Tax is doing great because they keep me posted on what they're doing as well as on not having heard the answer from IRS yet. So it's for me to be aware of what's happening.

I heard about Community Tax advertised on the radio and then, I had talked to a partner that I trusted. He said he used them before. The rep explained to me what it was going to be about and the enrollment process was easy. We had a $48,000 bill with them but after they take out everything, it will leave them about 15,000. The bill originally was only 25,000 but when they got through doing their system, they stacked it up to 48,000. They collected about $34,000 for me. They put me in a non-collectible status program. I was pleased and I loved what they have done for me. I couldn't handle them on my own. They helped me out a whole lot.

I owed a substantial amount of back taxes with penalties from previous years. Community Tax was able to negotiate, (on my behalf) a fair and equitable installment payment plan for back-taxes owed. I'm quite sure without the help of Community Tax my outcome would not have been so successful.

Updated on 04/24/2021: Providing an update from last review (July 31st 2020). Still no resolution from Community Tax. Lauren from their Client Success team reached out to discuss my issue August 2020. Only actionable thing that happened was that I received a partial refund from Community Tax for the year that was not filed with the IRS. However, this has created a greater problem. The year that was not originally filed by Community Tax, was filed but in communication with Community Tax. It was stated it could take months for the IRS to receive. Here it is April 2021, per communication from Community Tax the tax return was filed but hasn’t showed in the IRS system.

Community Tax worked diligently to resolve my issue with the IRS. I opened my case a month before the pandemic and therefore my case took longer to resolve. However; the case advocates never stopped communicating with me on the stages of my case. I would recommend them to anyone requiring assistance with debt issues. Thank you Community Tax.

I had Nick ** help me and he was completely unprofessional. Big chip on his shoulder. They lure you with a lot of terminology and confuse you to their convenience. Also tricked me into signing docs to run credit checks (hard inquiries) after making it clear I didn't want to apply for loans. Their customer service dept is also just as bad! I wish I could give zero stars. A lot of stuff they do you can do yourself. It's better to just get a CPA to help you. Please don't do what I did and ignore the bad reviews.

Community Tax was really good. They took a little bit longer than what I thought, but it was complex. It took almost a year but I'm done with the program now. They set me up with a company that I paid to acquire their services and I paid that off and then I got a full tax relief. It was a hardship case. I worked with three different people and all of them were cooperative and courteous.

I am so grateful for Community Tax. I would always wonder and would be on edge about my check since I had direct deposit that the IRS would take my money and then I would not have any money for my bills. I did nothing for 2 years and always receiving letters. Had no peace of mind. Every years I had no return. But debt did not go down. I called community tax and now If I get a return it goes toward the debt. Very happy with community tax. I don’t worry about my account. Very happy.

I owed taxes for 2017 and 2018, so I was going to pay around over 20 grand in total. I can’t afford paying everything all at once, so my uncle recommended me with Community Tax. He owed over about 60 grand but they helped him out. So he told me about them, and I went to them. I first talked to Nick. From him, I went to Barry, and from Barry I went to Mary Lou. They answered all my questions whenever I needed them. They were very helpful and nice. They did their jobs the way they were supposed to be, even better than what I expected. Unfortunately, they couldn’t help me out with all the things, but I was able to do a payment. Nonetheless, customer service, was amazing. It was the whole nine yards. They did all the work so it was easy on me. Comparing to the customer service, it was pricey but I was able to get some help after all. I highly recommend them to anyone who’s trying to go in with them.
