My payment is due on the 15th every month and late fees are applied on the 25th. On the 16th, they start calling my house 3-5 times a day. Even if you make the payment online, it takes these people a couple days to figure it out before they stop. In 4 years, I have never even been close to being 30 days late but they continue to call over and over. They start at 8:00 am on the dot. I will never purchase another Chrysler product for this reason. Google Chrysler Financial and you will see all the others they harass.

1-877-894-5721 is the phone no. they called from. First, a Mrs. ** was on the phone. When she was rude to me, I asked to speak with her supervisor, she put Mrs. ** on the phone and she was very rude and shouting at me. My payment was due on April 14, 2009. Today is April 21, 2009 so I am 7 days late. They have been calling me everyday for 6 days now, sometimes 3 to 4 times a day and 2 times in a row. They are demanding that I set up a predated check. I don't want to do that as I will get an overdraft if the money is not in there. They were asked not to call me and I faxed a Do Not Call request to them. I only have a cell phone that I use for business and only have a few minutes on it. They are calling, using up my minutes. I get behind in my payments but pay when I have the money. I am trying my best. I lost my house and had to move. So now, I have had to start my upholstery business over.

I leased a Pacifica with Chrysler in 2006. The lease was up in Feb. 09. All payments were made on time. We contacted Chrysler Fin. in Feb. letting them know we wanted to buy the car. They sent us docs confirming purchase with new APR and monthly payment. We signed the docs and sent them back in. We received the docs back from Chrysler Financial acknowledging receipt of docs. They sent more docs asking for proof of insurance, driver's license and state inspection to complete sale. There was no date listed to be completed by. We made an appointment for state inspection.
We got a certified letter from Chrysler Leasing saying we defaulted on the lease? How could this be if we purchased the car? Chrysler Leasing never called between Feb. and April asking us for payment. No payments slips arrived; there were no calls asking us what we were doing with the car. On April 10, they came and repossessed the car. We called saying we still wanted to purchase the car. Chrysler Financial purchasing man, Bob, said, "They took your car. They were not supposed to do that." He was supposed to help but obviously made no headway with Leasing. Leasing wants full payment and will file a credit report on us. There were no late payments. We purchased the car! I think Chrysler Financial actually stole my car.

I leased a 2007 Jeep Liberty and the lease was scheduled to expire in June 2009. I purchased another vehicle (not a Chrysler) in February 2009. At the time of the purchase, the Chrysler lease was paid in full by the dealership and the Liberty was returned to Chrysler four months earlier than the expiration date! About a week after I returned the vehicle, Chrysler contacted me for a $425 disposition fee. I told them that I knew nothing about this and since I returned the vehicle way before it was due, why did I have to pay this? They said since I did not purchase another Chrysler, that it was a fee that they charged. Isn't this a form of extortion (buy mine or else...)?
I told them that I refused to pay this fee. The following week, two more messages from Chrysler were left on my machine. Then, I received an e-mail from a credit monitoring service that I subscribe to. It informed me that negative info was posted to my bureau. When I checked, it was from Chrysler. I was upset. Why would they post something so quickly without even looking into this matter? So I thought the calls would stop. Wrong! They called me back and proceeded to ask for this disposition fee. Trying to keep my composure, I told them that since they already reported it to my credit bureau, I was now definitely not going to pay. What would be the point if they already put it on my bureau? They said they didn't put it on and I told them that I have proof it's on my credit bureau.
Is there any action I can take? I feel like I have been taken advantage of because one, I returned the vehicle four months early. (I could've used it another 4 months.); two, they had my money. (The lease was paid off in full at the time of the new car purchase); and lastly, they had my vehicle (to resell). I had nothing. Please help.

Three years ago, my company changed their payroll dates to issue checks. I contacted Chrysler Financial to explain I would make payments on or around the 23rd of each month instead of the 15th since there was a change in payroll. They stated this was fine and for three years, no problems. The last two months, I have started being harassed for payments and I brought the previous agreement to their attention. They were very rude and of course, this made me angry. I stated it is funny everything was fine with the payment arrangement until Chrysler got into financial trouble. I have never missed a payment or have I ever been over ten days late. In my original conversation with Chrysler, they stated as long as I was not over ten days, there was no problem. I am complaining because they call many times a day which is illegal and I reported this to them on 4/18/09. They stated they could call as many times as they wanted. I know this is illegal.

Beth ** of the customer assistant department in Auburn Hills, MI told me on September 19, 2008 that I would only owe $104.50 for the October rent payment. That is what I budgeted for and paid. Due to what I believe was deceptive business practices by Ms. **, Chrysler Financial has been hounding me for the rest of the October rent in addition to late charges, and has placed negative marks on my credit. I believe the $104.50 was for additional deferral fees tacked on after I entered into the deferral, and after I paid the agreed upon deferral processing fee of $100.00. The 2 payments deferred is being distributed over the remaining months, bringing my total lease payment to $415.00 per month. Repeated calls to reps and/or their managers are getting me nowhere. They refuse to look any further into this complaint and insist I owe what they say I owe.

Due to economic hardship, my payments for February and March were late this year. I have leased my vehicle with Chrysler Financial for two years now and have never been more than 30 days late. When I called to make a payment arrangement, the representative was extremely rude telling me that I should be paying my bills on time and that I have been more than 9 times late after the 15th day of being due. I had to laugh because I had never heard of this before. I stated to him that I was the one calling and trying to work out a payment with them. I had never been 30 days late, and that it doesn't even go on my credit until then.
He responded by saying that they have high standards for their customers and that I need to be responsible and pay my bills on time. After about 20 minutes of back and forth, I gave in and agreed to make 2 payments to be automatically withdrawn from my bank account. Yesterday, I received a letter from Western Union saying that they were going to make another withdrawal out of my account! I called Chrysler Financial and spoke to two different women who were unbelievably rude. I told them I did not authorize that third payment and they were supposed to go over the phone conversation and for me to call back tomorrow.
Today, when I called back, they said that I did authorize the payment and that I better have the funds in the account to cover it! Are you serious?! I told them that I wanted to hear this tape because I know that I did not authorize this payment. She proceeded to be rude and disrespectful and said that I would have to get a lawyer and have that tape subpoenaed. I have never been so disrespected and bullied by anyone in my life, especially when I have been a model customer! After doing my research on this site, I have decided to close my current bank account and pay them with a money order only from now on. I really hope that something can be done about the unfair and illegal practices that this company is using. Please contact me if you need anyone to tell their story, or if anyone files a lawsuit. I want to be part of that. Thank you for listening.

I am wondering if there is anyone out their interested in a class action suit against Chrysler Financial. Their collection practices are against the law!
Like many of the people in this country, I lost my Job in November. I have had my 2005 Jeep Liberty for almost 4 years. Even though when I talk to them I have never paid my account on time, I had, until I lost my job. Their idea of paying on time has nothing to do with the grace period. If you pay after your due date, regardless of the time, it is considered never on time. Even though mine was on automatic payment exactly one day after it was due, the due date was the 14th, payment made the 15th because it's my payday.
Now I live with 7-8 phone calls a day and 7-8 calls a day to my mom. They call my grandparents, aunts, and uncles. I am treated like a complete dirt bag; they yell, curse, and hang up on me. They threaten to come get the car daily, they leave messages on my phone talking about how they are so disappointed in me for not keeping the promise that I made by signing the contract and now not making the payments. They ask me why I do not have a friend or relative who could loan me the money to pay.
Yesterday I made payment arrangements. I was to pay $200 on 3 separate dates, then pay it off by May 1st, and today after making the promised payment, I was told that no amount of payments will stop them from coming to get the vehicle. I was then told that if I made another $357, that would stop them from coming to get the car. After speaking to another person, they told me that $1140 would have to be paid in order to stop them. I had until 9 tonight to pay it.
I am unemployed. I do not have the money - period. I am not sitting here trying to hold onto a ton of money and just not paying them. I wonder how a company that can take money from the government that I paid a ** of money to, can turn around and not understand the situation that I am in by not trying to help me at all! I hope these people have just as hard of a time finding a job after Chrysler goes belly up, and may they be blessed by these same calls and threats.

I can only guess that since Chrysler Financial has been accepting my money to keep their mismanaged company afloat, the means on how their banking works has been altered. I was unfortunate enough to have leased a car from Dodge. My payment is due the 2nd of each month. I make my payments through my online banking. It used to be a next day delivery when I would make my payment. For some reason now, the delivery day is continually changing. It sometimes tells me it will take as long as 9 days for them to receive my payment. Sorry, but I am not going to make my payment weeks in advance just to meet the due date. On the day the payment is due, I start receiving call from Chrysler Financial hounding me for a payment. They will sometimes call 8 times a day starting at 8am. When I tell them I made my payment and it will be a few days until they receive it, I get the drone from the other side making threats and threatening my credit for being late.
I have leased or purchased at least 30 cars in my lifetime and have never before had a finance company call me on the due date of a car payment. I can't wait until my Government stops giving Chrysler my money and lets them tank the way they should have and all of the employees that actually can't make payments start getting calls like the ones they make. It's funny how quickly I stopped being viewed as a customer of Dodge and became a scumbag instead because I make my payments on the due date. My promise to Chrysler is you will never have to worry about me again because after the Chrysler product I currently own are gone, they will never be replaced with another one of your vehicles.

On April 1, 2009, I received a call from Chrysler Financial stating my payment was 6 days late. When I advised the representative I called at the beginning of March to see when next payment was due, she told me she showed no notes. So I asked again, "You see no notation of me calling at the beginning of March?" Then she told me "Would you like to make a payment?" I asked the representative again "Do you see notes at beginning of March when I called?”, and I was advised next payment due by April 25, 2009. She read the notes aloud to me, stated a representative did speak with me in the beginning of March and then she placed me on hold. When she came back, she said her supervisor said I am still responsible for making my payment on time. So because Chrysler Financial does not train their CSRs correctly then consumer is punished.
I also advised that I have a bill statement with this info and asked for fax number but they declined and said that does not matter. So I asked why I am sent a statement each month if it doesn't matter. The rep said it's just for courtesy. I thought the statement was a reminder or courtesy to make payment on due date. I also accessed my account on the internet and it showed due on 4/25/2009. The representative and supervisor were rude and unwilling to admit that their company dropped the ball. I also asked for executive complaints and they would not give me this info. They keep asking me to make a payment. I finally got fed up and just hung up. I will deal with this another way. I worked for a Fortune 500 company and we would be fired if we treated our customers like Chrysler does, collections or not. This is exactly why this company is going belly up. The government should let them fail.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty which I am currently leasing. This is my second vehicle through Chrysler. I really love this Jeep when I got it and my Husband and I decided that we were going to purchase it before we moved from Westland, MI to Hartland, MI. My lease is now up and I was/am in the process of buying it UNTIL I received the information regarding the finance rate. They want to charge me 13.79% to purchase a USED vehicle. A vehicle that I leased NEW. I was told that the % rate was based off my credit score and that they did not even run my credit report. As everyone during this time is having difficulties my father has always taught me that your credit is very important.
I pulled my credit report and my score is 685. I only have had 3 payments that show past 30 days. 1 house payment September 2008 and 2 payments back in 2005 for my Husband's truck. I proceeded to ask if this was Chrysler's way of settling their debt problem by sticking it to their customers. I just want them to give me a reasonable explanation on why it is so high and all they will tell me is that's what it is. It is common knowledge that the rate for a used vehicle is always higher than a new vehicle. When I told the Remarketing Rep Tisha that I didn't know it was common knowledge, the attitude from this rep started flying. I politely asked for her extension, her Supervisor's extension, then the name an extension of any rep that was assigned to my account (James **). I am over my miles on this vehicle and my husband and I will decided how we will handle that, but at this point I don't think that I want to deal with them any longer. Not even to try to go to another financial institution for the loan to buy it out.

These guys are part of the American system of corporate thieves that are allowed to break all laws without repercussions. I have owned 4 vehicles with Chrysler. I will basically list their violations here as the actual stories would be too long to write. Calls before 8 am and after 9 pm. As many as 6 calls a day. Contact ANYONE (neighbors ,relatives, tenants, etc.) in regards to account and say they have the right to do so. Help incapable of taking and making payments from overseas accounts. Set up dates for withdrawals from my bank account and they withdraw in a time span of up to 10 days from actual date set up. Tried to withdraw up to 6 times from account when there were no funds available. Threaten to repo vehicle all the time. Demand payment on a certain date if not there, then please return your vehicle to the nearest dealer.
Had 12 transmissions replaced in 3 vehicles. They just replaced damaged parts rather than rebuild, clean coolers or complete other actual normal repairs costing me $10000 loss in my business. One time they kept the vehicle for 7 weeks doing repairs. Agents are extremely rude, demanding. I look for every way I can to avoid these corporate thieves . Do not answer their calls and pay them when you get it. Don't put up with their intimidation. Hide the vehicle usually in the early morning hours... especially if you are only one payment behind. More American greed. Take some of the bailout money they are begging for and pay off everyone's faltering loan instead of CEO bonus.

I was 19 days late in paying my lease payment for a 2008 Liberty. I was fully aware that the payment was behind and was planning on paying it today online. I received a collection call from Christine advising me this is an attempt to collect a debt etc. etc. I told her that I would be making the payment online today. She proceeded to tell me that I could make a payment to her directly with a check by phone to bring the account current. I do not like to pay with check by phone so I told her I would make the payment online. She insisted that I cannot make the payment online since the account is 19 days past due.
I have paid online every time and have been up to 2 weeks late before. She berated me for not making the payment with her over the phone! This is ridiculous. As soon as I hung up the phone I went online and made a payment. Of course I can make a payment online even if I'm late. They just include the late fee in the payment. I decided to call back to complain that this woman blatantly lied to me about being allowed to make a payment online. The so-called supervisor tried to turn it around saying that I breached the contract by not paying on time. The contract allows for a late period with a fee, which I paid! They have the worst customer service department I think I have ever encountered. They do NOT put the customer first, nor do they listen to what is being told to them. A company should not blatantly lie to a customer in order to get them to do what they want them to do, in this case, pay a fee for a check by phone to bring an account current when there are other options. It is MY problem if the account goes 30 days past due. They still get their money.

As soon as my husband was laid off on Sept 26th, 2008, I called to see if we could make our truck payments paying the interest, until we were back on our feet! So back to the start! They refuse to work out anything, and are so rude, it makes one wonder what is going on in the USA! My husband only stands to make $278.00 a month unemployment, and we are willing to give up food to a limit, but both need out medications as we are both ill. Also, I have a bad heart and not supposed to undergo stress! Now after reading all the complaints on Chrysler Financial, I am sure we need to clean out our truck and expect the worse! Where is all our government bailouts going, it sure is not to the people having to pay them! We are getting shafted and still they want more!

On August 9, 2008, my husband called Chrysler Financial for a payment extension and was approved over the phone so we did not have to make the August payment. In September 2008, I tried to make my next regular scheduled payment over the internet and it said I was past due. My husband called to have Chrysler fix their mistake, but was told a supervisor would have to call him back, but nobody called. I called Chrysler on September 15, 2008 and spoke to 2 very rude, unprofessional representatives who would not try to resolve the issue and told me they had no record of us ever calling in for the extension. The supervisor was very ignorant and gave me the impression that she thinks I am a liar.
After no cooperation from the supervisor, I had made the payment and brought my account current, but informed the supervisor I would be filing a complaint against her and Chrysler and disputing the late payment report. As for the representatives having no record of my husband calling for the extension, this is false because my husband called over his cell phone and I have the record of proof to show that he spoke with a representative for 11 minutes on August 9, 2008 at 9:58am where he was approved for the extension. The representatives had tried to argue that it was impossible for them to be wrong or make a mistake.
Obviously, the initial representative made an error by not recording the date or extension in the computer properly and nobody at Chrysler wanted to rectify the situation. I am currently disputing the negative record with the credit report agencies and I believe I am owed an apology, the negative record deleted from my account and credit report, and my money back (along with the late fee and wiring fees) from Chrysler for the extension that I was approved for in August but had to pay anyhow in September. I now have a negative record on my credit report which can affect my ability for desirable rates for loans which I may need in the future.

I was late for my September payment, so I called the phone # 1-800-556-8172 on 10/11/08 to arrange to make my September payment and my October payments. My September payment was scheduled for: 10/23/08, authorization # **. My October payment was scheduled for 11/6/08, authorization # **. The customer service person I talked to on 10/11 was Mr. **. He demanded I make my payment on 10/11/08. I explained to him I did not have the funds to cover this payment on this day. I would however, have the funds on 10/24. The words spoken from Mr. **, after I informed him of my inability to make my payment on 10/11/08, were he was saying how I need to get my finances straightened out. And, he told me to take my car to the dealership where I bought my car, and turn my car in for a buy down. And, if my car was repossessed, that Chrysler Financial would collect the money that I owe for the car no matter what.
His mannerism was extremely rude. I ended the conversation with another customer service representative. I only spoke to two customer service representatives on 10/11. On Monday, 10/13, I checked my bank statement online, and I found out Chrysler Financial processed my payment on 10/11, which was not authorized by me on this day. This caused my bank to go into overdrawn status for almost $500.00. I had other payments that were already authorized to be processed. I called Chrysler Financial on 10/15, to inform them of this error. I spoke to Frank, worker ID: **. He admitted to the error, and explained to me that I needed to fax the following information to Chrysler Financial: A dispute letter requesting the refund, A copy of my bank statement stating the debit transaction made by Chrysler Financial. I faxed the letter on 10/16. I just called Chrysler Financial today, 10/18. The person from India, told me the letter has not been received. That it takes up to 4 business days for a fax to be received.
I feel I am getting the run around with your company. I do admit I am always late with my payments, but I do eventually make them. My payments are $557.30. This amount is too high for me. Ever since I have bought this car, I have had struggles with my payments, but most of all with dealing with the customer service with your company. First, I have to talk to foreigners, who ask you your life story before you can talk to an American person. They keep repeating themselves back and forth and they will do anything to not transfer me to a supervisor. I just want to communicate with your company to let you know I will be making my payment, though it will be late. I would like a response to my complaint. I will be contacting other bureaus to complain against your company. I hope you will not the next company going out of business with this economy our country is living with, and with the horrible customer service your company represents. Thank you.

Bad customer service and the collections dept very RUDE. If you are late one day on your payment your account goes to collections. It doesn't matter that the reason you were late was due to an error on their part. This matter was eventually taken care of after finally talking to someone there that did listen and apparently had a functioning brain that did notice the error. My wife and I were looking to purchase another Dodge vehicle but after this experience we are not buying Chrysler.

I have written many times to make payment arrangements with Chrysler Financial for my vehicle. I have fallen behind due to some financial hardship. They do not answer my emails. I have asked them to call at reasonable hours because I work a night shift and don't get off work until 0200. They continue to call as early as 0720 and as much as 7-8 times a day. I have asked them not to call my mother, she is the co-signer on this account. I told them she is 83 years old, with a heart condition and other health issues. They continue to ring her house multiple times daily and harass her to the point that I fear for her health. One of the last times, someone told her that they do not take a payments over the phone and that she needed to get to Western Union right away and sent a payment. She told them she couldn't, that she is handicapped and didn't have a way to get there. The person told her Too bad, figure it out.? They also told her that if she is too old to drive she had no business co-signing on a vehicle for her daughter.
On or about 9/6/08, I received a call from a woman who advised me that my payment was late. I agreed to make a payment by phone to be taken out on 9/12. (so I guess its just something they offer when they feel like it). I gave her my account information, she repeated it back to me. About a week later, I got a notice from my bank, she had tried to take the money out of a totally different account. One that they had previously on file but that I had closed quite a while ago. When I found this out, I immediately mailed a payment to them which they have still not posted.
Today, I called to set up a second payment over the phone, trying to get caught up. I first spoke to a woman by the name of Miss **. She refused to take a payment over the phone from me??? Her co-worker was going to do it earlier in the month!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to a Patrick **. He began the conversation quite civilly but when I told him that due to employee error, they had tried to take the money out of a closed account he said, "And I suppose you are going to tell me that your payments are late due to employee error also.?" I said no. I said I was trying to catch up and wanted to make a second payment today over the phone. He also refused to take my money. He said would you like the information to go to Western Union today?, I said I couldn't go today because I work 11 hour shifts and do not get a break long enough to do that, that I would like to make it over the phone. He said would you like to clean out your car so I can pick it up tomorrow??
All in all, I felt very harassed and belittled by this man. I then asked to speak to his supervisor and was just told No?. I ended up having to take time off work without pay to go to the Western Union office to send a payment. To sum up my complaints: Ignoring emails, ignoring regular mail, calling at unreasonable hours, harassing my mom, rudeness, demeaning attitude of employees, ineptness of employees, annoying number of calls per day. Is there anything that can be done? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I answered one of the calls at my office number & told them that under no circumstances were they to call me on my office phone that personal calls were to be limited. The rude, ignorant person that I spoke to told me that if I answered my cell number, they wouldn't have to call my desk number. I then explained that I am at work from 7 am to 4 pm and the appropriate time to call me would be after 4 pm (central). She then told me she knew I was central time because they are located close enough to come and repossess my car by the end of the day.
I said, "I'm sorry...what?" She said my car payment was 1 day late & if I paid my bills, they would not have to call me. I explained to her that the payment had been set up on their website to come out on the 1st of the month. She said that isn't good enough because it takes 2-3 days for it to post as paid. I then asked her why would they be calling me for 1 day late anyway - her response was, "At 1 day late, the account is placed with collections." I told her according to my contract a payment is late after 30 days & her response was & I quote, "Oh you smart enough to read your contract but not smart enough to pay your bills." I told her I was disconnecting this call because everyone knows her belligerent language & attitude is unprofessional and illegal. Her response was, "No worries... If you have no money to pay your 385 dollar car note Chrysler Financial isn't worried because you don't have enough money to hire a lawyer!" I hung up. I received 8 more calls that day.
The next day (YES - the very next day), a man from Chrysler Financial called me to tell me that I had late fees to pay & that my next car payment was due on the 12th & in preparation of that I should authorize them to do a check by phone now. I told him that I would continue to use the method I've been using to pay my car note. He said that wasn't good enough & they could repossess my car if the payment wasn't posted by the 11th. I told him I think that the excessive phone calls, the downright negative, abusive language was harassment. He informed me that when I signed the contract with Chrysler, I gave up any rights until the car was paid off.
Tonight, I received a "collection" call from Chrysler regarding my son's car; he called Chrysler 3 weeks ago to inform them that he had been laid off but was starting another job the following Monday. He made arrangements to pay his car note on 10.4 instead of 9.24. I explained that to this customer service representative & she told me that since I was the co-signer of his car that meant if he had to postpone his payment I must pay his car note for him and he could pay me back on the 4th. I explained to her that 50% of the population is experiencing hard times & I am part of that 50%. She said, "Too bad for you but what does that mean to Chrysler?" I said, "It means that between us we are trying to work with you to eliminate the phone calls & set up reasonable payment arrangement for this 1 payment that would be less than 30 days late."
She said, "We signed a contract with them not the other way around, that if you are refusing to pay his car note today, then you are accepting a verbal agreement to allow the car to be repossessed." I told her in no way shape or form was I agreeing to that. She said, "Then make the payment." I asked her if I could speak with a supervisor or to inform me of another method to file a formal complaint. She informed me that I could not speak with a supervisor or file a formal complaint until the account was paid in full & paid on time 6 months in a row. I asked her to repeat herself & she said exactly the same thing. I told her that was ridiculous, that there is nothing regarding consumer complaints that say those "rules" are in place.
She said if I paid my bill, I wouldn't have to worry about complaints. She then said "Chrysler Financial has a great relationship with consumers that follow the rules set forth by their contract and not pitiful, deadbeats who look for loopholes to get out of paying their debts." I told her she was way out of line & the note would be paid on Friday. She said, "It needs to be paid right now or the order for repossession will be sent over and your car will be repossessed by Friday." She continued ranting for another 1 or so & said I was setting a horrible example for my kids by not paying my bills or expecting them to pay theirs. I asked her for her name & she said, "I gave you my name when you first answered your phone." I said, "Would you please provide me your name again?" She asked me to provide our banking information so she could set up payment. This back and forth went on 2 additional times & she finally said, "So are you refusing to make payment?" I stated again that payment is going to be made by my son on Friday. She said, "Good luck!" then disconnected the call.

I bought a 1997 dodge dokata new! I had a 5 year payment loan wich I paid all payments! Chrysler showed around a $6000.00 balance after payments were done! I refused to pay that balance as I feel it is payed off! Chrysler took me to court for a repo on the truck and I showed the judge all the cancelled checks and he ruled that the truck is payed for and that chrysler can not repo the truck!
I contacted chrysler after the matter and was told until there court ordered to release that title there not going to! 5 years has gone by and I am trying to get a title once again and running into the same story! I even offered them the truck to see what they would say and I was told they did not want the truck its 11 years old but still will not release the title because i want it!
I have a truck that was paid for and no title!

My auto loan was set up 5 years ago with automatic deduction from my checking account. All was fine until my 60th payment. For some reason Chrysler does not deduct this final payment and they do not send you a reminder or bill for it. I thought my loan was satisified as the deductions had stopped. Last night I got a very mean collection call saying that I was going to be reported to the credit score companies becuse I was over 30 days late! I had to pay 9.99 fee to deduct the payment from the same account that the other 59 payment had been deducted.
When I called Chrysler Financial and complained about this practice, they said I should have remembered 5 years ago when we signed up for auto deduction that they would not deduct the last payment. I complained and got a supervisor: Mrs Flowers that said too bad, I was stuck with the late payment and the $9.99 checking account deduction fee. I wonder how many other people they do this to. I am out the $9.99 fee, $5.00 late fee, and personal time spent trying to find out why I was treated so rudley when I set up the deduction to avoid any possible delayed payment.

The repo man entered my apartment garage without permission to get a vehicle. It was cought on security video camera that repo man forced to open the garage door to get my car. The repo man handed me a piece of paper, it shows their phone number and address. I called next day but it was disconnected and I cant find their website or any info about it. And also, there's no license plate number on thier car. Since that happened, I havent gotten any document called Notice of Intent to Sell Vehicle or anything related repossession. So, I called chrysler financial redemption department and asked them to send me the letter but they said they sent them already. Still, I haven't gotten it. They will sell my car very soon.

I called and talked to Miicaela told her that my bank send the payment to them at P O Box Louisvill,Ky. She told me that they never recived it. I talked to my bank they told me that they send it out on the 3rd of Sept. But Chrysler Financial sent it back on the 5th of Sept. Only to tack on more money.
I had talked to several People Nobody could help me out in anyway. All I wanted to do was payoff the truck. I live in Nevada, I had to call Star Dogde in Abine, Tx. and talk to the people who I bought the truck from and let them know what was going on. He called the 1800 # and called me back. He helped me as much as he could. I am very unhappy with the treatment I got from all the people I talked to at Chrysler Financial. They were no help at all, all that they were sure to do was charge me more money. When all I wanted to do was payoff the turck. I will never deal with Chrysler Financial again. Very rude people who answer the phones, no people skills at all.

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram SLT truck financed through Chrysler Financial (Account Number: 1000838556/Contract date:08-29-2007). The above address is where I submit my payments. I became late with my payments due to illness. At which time I had no income for about 8 weeks and used all my savings for doctor bills (due to the fact that I have no health insurance) and routine bills. On June 12, 2008, a customer service representative for Chrysler Financial advised me to defer a payment; stating that I could have my due date changed if I allowed them to: (1) withdraw the May payment from my personal banking account [confirmation number supplied by rep - 6018160] (2) defer the June payment [confirmation number supplied by rep - 6018195], and (3) allow them to withdraw the July payment from my personal banking account [confirmation number supplied by rep - 6018212] on July the 26th 2008.
She led me to believe that if I did this I could have my due date changed from the 13th of the month to the 24th of the month and this would get my account back on the right track. I complied with this request. Afterward I was advised to call 1-800-700-0235 on the 16th of June, 2008 to confirm the due date change. The person I spoke with informed me that her supervisor told her that I would have to make my payments on the 13th of each month for six months over the internet before I could have the due date changed. I informed her that if I could meet the payment demand on the 13th of the month I would have no need to change the due date. I also informed her that I would continue to be late with my payments because I could not meet the 13th due date demand.
I received a confirmation notice from Chrysler Financial dated June 15, 2008 where they did in fact withdraw the approved payment.
I recieved a statement dated June 24, 2008 informing me that my next payment was due July 13, 2008. This payment was withdrawn from my personal banking account on July 29, 2008. I recieved a statement dated July 25, 2008 informing me that I owed two payments and needed to remitt both payments and late charges by August 13, 2008. However, when I called they had posted the July payment. I spoke with a woman named Norma and she volunteered that my due date was the 13th of each month and that it would not change unless I paid the accumulated intest (whatever that means) and signed a form that Chrysler Financial would have to send me in the mail.
This is the latest conflict I have had with Chrysler Financial. There were numerous other conflicts with this company but unfortantely did not file a previous complaint. The first was when they negelted to send me a statement for the very first payment. They had the wrong address in their files. Wheither this was the fault of the dealership who submitted the information to Chrysler Financial or their own fault I do not know. When the payment became late they did not contact me; they called my employer. For days they called several times a day , all hours of the day and night before my employer mentioned it to me. At any rate, it took nine months (starting in September, 2007) to get them to correct their records.
Next was my request for a copy of the contract that they had on file. I made two request before they responded the first time. They faxed me a copy at my place of employment. The font size was too small to read even with a magnifying glass. I made three additional requests for a ligable copy of the contract. I recieved two responses; both of which was in the number 2 font size (the smallest font size you can use). This previous conflict still remains unresolved. I will not be able to make timely payments , which will effect my credit report for the next 62 months.
My complaint? My experience with Chrysler Financial has been very frustrating. I have found them to be unco-operative, misleading and negligent in preforming their duties. I spoke with three different representatives of Chrysler Financial and got three different stories. I'm not sure if rudeness, harassment, negligece, and incompitence are illegal or not but I hope this complaint will be kept on record in order to help some one else who has a more leggitiment complaint.

Alright a bit of background first... I am co-signer on a Chrysler Town and Country, for my mother-in-law. She became delenquint on several payments, so they called me of course. I was in an area with no cell service and recieved a very rude, and threatening message (Monday July, 14th, 2008 @ 3:17 p.m) from Mr. Derrick P., in which, he stated that he had repeatedly tried to contact me with no reply. This was the first time I had heard the name however. I called him every day for the following week, leaving messages everyday, with no reply. I finally made contact with him the following week (Monday July 21st, 2008), during that conversation he stated that I was the primary account holder.
He was still very rude and unhelpful, when I told him I would like a copy of my contract to verify that information. "I was never given a copy of the contract, because I authorized it over the phone", I told him, to which he replied that it was my problem. I told him to contact my mother-in-law for payment and he cut me off saying he wouldn't. I was able to have my mother-in-law contact him promptly so he hadn't called back since she handled the payment. 8 days later (Tuesday July 29th @ 2:44 p.m), I called Mr. P. to see why the contract never showed up. He asked why I needed it; I asked him first to tell me the name of the primary on the account. He verified that it was me, so I told him there was misinformation on the contract so I was trying to rectify the problem. He proceeded to ERUPT about how there was nothing to rectify and that the problem was mine alone. I tried to explain to him that I only wanted the dealership information from whence the vehicle was purchased. By now I was prepared to take no more non-sense from the rude fellow, and told him that if he wouldn't help me I would simply have the car "repoed" and deal with the matter in court, with my lawyer, since I was not recieving any help. He never stopped ranting ,however, telling me about the liberal consequences in the state where "I" hold residinsency.
I informed Derrick that I didn't require his legal counsil and only wanted a copy of the contract. He proceeded to lecture my about the legal consequences and how "DUMB" I am. By now I was furious! I told him I was tired of dealing with him and wanted to speak with his manager. He took on a mocking, jeering voice and informed me he didn't care if I was tired of dealing with him and I didn't need to speak with his manager. "I wil be the judge of that I think", I said. To which he promptly hung up without a word! I realized I couldn't deal with such a rude, annoying individual, so I called 411 for the number for Chrysler Finincial in Roanoke, TX.
This turned out to be mostly fruitless due to the fact that Mr. P. works in another office, but I did get the number for his office building. I promptly called that office and spoke to James S. who was only somewhat reluctant to help and only after I told him my problem. He told me that P.'s supervisor was unavailable but he would leave a message to call me after she finished whatever she was doing. Several (approximately 5) minutes later I recieved a call from an unavailable number. It was a lady claiming to be "Superviser J.". This person was equally as rude and unhelpful. Part way through the conversation, my wife sensed that my patience was also thin with this woman, and took the phone. "J." was especially rude with her ,though my wife said she would only argue with me, and persisted that I be put back on the phone. My wife turned the speaker phone on and informed the lady that she was talking to both of us now. The only reply was "Good bye" followed by her hanging up.
I called back, absolutely furious by now! I talked to a woman whos' name I missed. As with the previous calls, she wanted my name, and account number. I told her I was unwilling to divulge any information until I was on the phone with "Superviser J.'s'" superviser. The woman told me there was no "Superviser J." but she was happy to handle any questions I may have. I calmy recalled the events briefly and was put on hold. It was difficult to maintane composure but when another individual answered the phone I asked specifically if he was actually a manager, to which he said he was. I explained to him how I wanted a copy of my contract mailed and was completely disgusted by the actions of his people! The unknown person did say he has sent me a copy of the contract but that the only actions he could take was a reprimand for Derrick P., and that there was no "J. who works there so I have nothing to do.
I still don't know Who the "Gentleman" is or if he was actually a superviser, but I am grateful for a person with manners in such a ridiculous place. I am absolutely NEVER going to be a Chrysler customer and no one I know will be after this outrageous display of blatant disception and POOR business ethic (it can even be called that!)!

I was contacted today about my account being delinquent and in serious default My car payment has always been automatic deduction from my checking account. I was told that 2 years ago, my deduction was refused and hence, my payment has been 30 days late for the last 2 years. I was also told by many very ucooperative people that my final payment was expected to be made via regular channels and that the direct deduction would not apply to my final payment. I was then told that my loan was in default for 71 days that that I was required to make a payment in full by 8pm today or to call them and tell them where to pick up my vehicle. This payment is roughly 970.00.
I let them know that I would like to take care of it and make 2 payments over the next 2 weeks, to which I was told no, they could not do that. Then I was able to secure the money needed, but not for 4 days, at which time, again, full payment would be made. Again, I was denied. It seems ludicrous to me that a person who offered not only to pay in full, but offered as well to give account information so that a direct deduct could occur on the specific day be treated so rudely and with absolutely no care for the fact that I have been a loyal customer.
I asked why it was that they would rather incurr the extra expense of possibly reposessing a vehicle over what is really a paltry sum that the person owing has comitted to making resitution on over a couple of days. It should also be noted that not once before today have I received a letter or phone call regarding this matter. Every other facet of Chryslers business has been sending me things for years, yet financial insists that they did not have a proper address for me, nor did they have an active number to reach me at, which they did, as they were able to contact me at my place of business today.
Had I been notified of ANY of these things, they would have been taken care of swiftly. As it stands, I now not only have this collection on my credit, but apparently over 2 years of 30day late payment notices as well.
My credit obviously has been damaged quite a bit over this incident. My ability to garner favorable interest rates on future purchases will suffer as well. I fully intended to purchase a new Chrysler vehicle in the next 6 months, but I will be purchasing anything BUT one of thier products and will persuade any all who will listen to do the same.

I was called and repeatedly harassed because my payment was fifteen days late. I was spoken to like a child with the collector, Mrs S, telling me that my payment was due on the ninth of the month and Chrysler expected the payment at that time. She inquired as to why I could not make the payment and I told her I was having financial problems, she then asked why I was having problems, and I explained I had other bills, houst note etc/ this was the rudest and crudest person I have ever dealt with in this type situation. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for over ten minutes.
I then hung up and called back and asked to speak to so called supervisor Sheila C, I had to explain the nature of my complaint, and did. I was then connected with C who first stated that I needed to bring my account up to date, I explained I didnt have the money at the present time and C stated that I didnt have the right to file a complaint on the collector until my account was current. I then asked for her supervisor and she told me she had none that she was the highest supervisor who spoke on the phone and she did not offer any means of going above her head. I continued to ask for her supervisor to which she refused saying she would hang up if I didnt have a question other than that. These people have a way of speaking to you that infuriates you since they make your feel like your in remedial training of some sort, or at the level of a 3 year old child. P>
I was also asked when the payment could be sent and I replied im not sure at this time. I was then asked when I got paid and I said two weeks, the collector then stated, "So you just got paid, why didnt you send our payment then?" I feel this goes above and beyond my personal privacy as I dont have to explain to them when I get paid and what I do with the money when I get it. I assure you it goes to other debts and is not squandered. These are the most unreasonable and rude and insensitive crud I have ever dealt with. I hope some of the people over these collection rats read this but im sure they wont. Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. They never let me tell them I lost a second job that paid $1500 a month and that Im currently working FOUR jobs just to make ends meet. Today, on the phone, I was badgered by a Customer Service Representative of Chrysler Financial into making a payment I can't afford. My husband has been making less and less money at the trucking company he had worked for for the past 16 years and then they laid him off. Fortunately, he was able to find new employment almost immediately. The point I am making is that our finances have not been in the best shape for quite some time, and I will be the first to admit that my car payments to Chrysler Financial had been late more than not.
Part of the problem was that we were assured by the dealership Joe Cecconi's Complex that we would have no problem changing the due date on the loan immediately. We already knew that the first of the month would not be a good date because of other bills due at that time. When we spoke to Chrysler Financial about a change in due date we were told that we would have to make a few payments before they would be able to do that.
After a few months went by with us struggling to make the payments on time and not succeeding very well we requested a change in due date and were then told that we would have to make a couple payments on time and that then they would be glad to oblige. Afterwards we were told that we couldn't change the payment to any later in the month than the 11th without paying a fee of a couple hundred dollars, so we settled for the 11th as the new payment date. It took them a couple months but they finally made the change. Unfortunately, by this time my husband was making quite a bit less (on average about $500 less a month) so things were very difficult. Then he got laid off so we had no money coming in from him for a few weeks.
Things have gotten pretty desperate, but most of our creditors have been willing to work with us realizing that it will take us some time to get bills paid up-to-date. I had spoken to a Chrysler Financial representative last week who agreed to let me make my May payment on June 14 at which time I would be able to make further arrangements to get the June payment paid. This man I spoke to today said that the other representative had no right to make that arrangement and if I did not pay $303. TODAY plus the $278 on the 14th they would repossess my car. When I tried to explain to him that I'm behind on my mortgage payment also and that I had agreed to make a my April mortgage payment this week. I asked him if I could just pay the already agreed upon $278 on the 14th then I could make the June payment on the 19th. He said no, that I HAD to pay the $303 TODAY and that they would still be taking the $278 on the 14th.
He said, and I quote What's more important to you, your house or your car? I have to admit I kind of lost it at that point and told him that that was the kind of comment only an ass**** would make. I agreed to make the payments. I felt I had no other recourse. But I told him that I hoped he died and had to face God with what he had just done to me. Now I hope I can get my mortgage company to give me a little more time but I'm not very hopeful. We are trying very hard to keep what we have and bring all of our accounts up-to-date and keep them that way. I realize that there probably isn't anything that can be done, but I know I'll never go through Chrysler Financial again. Our credit rating is in the basement right now but we will do our best to climb out.

My husband purchased a Dodge Ram 1500 in October of 2006. It was financed through Chrysler Financial. Everything went fine as long as the payments came in on time. He works construction which with the housing market crash is a joke. We took what little money we had saved to open up a retail store on the Outer Banks, hoping that this was our way out. Our business has dropped 40% with no relief in sight. We got behind on our payments. Angela called me yesterday to ask me why my payment was 15 days late. I tried to explain the situation, but all she wanted was a yes or no answer to whether or not June's payment will be on time. I cannot predict if my husband will have enough money to make the payment on time and she told me that I had to give her a yes or no answer.
I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me that I had to tell her why. I told her that I needed to speak to someone who would listen to what I was saying. She told me that I signed a contract with Chrysler and that I have to pay my bills. I never said that I wasn't going to pay! Finally after 4 more requests to speak to her supervisor, I was put through to a Mr. Rodriguiz. He heard me but basically stated the same thing. Why don't [they] try working with your customers to find a solution to the problem instead of accusing them of being deadbeats?
As a result of paying this bill, my husband and I are unable to pay our utilities at this point.

I am having a terrible experience with Chrysler financial too..They are rude, they don't want to listen to your situation and just want to cut you off all the time and threatening you...unwilling to give me my accurate balance.. I was running behind on two payments, due to medical conditions...my husband is the account holder...he is a handyman and in the remodelling business and gets paid everytime he finishes a project..I explained that to Chrysler financial and we always caught up with pur payment within three months...it's hard for us to save with me no able to work with 3 kids...I had to surgeries in the last 7 months...a c-section and another surgery just last april..my baby was born with heart problems and was in NICU when he was born...he is on treatment..since my husband is self employed, my son's and my health is not to0 good, we had lots of medical bills since we did not have insurance...
the worst is that the town & country(used) we bought just in november 2006, has transmission problem since december 2007...just a year after we bought it..one window on the drivers side fell aprt..the car is basically a junk and we still have to pay the $2626 0n it...we bought it for $8000...Crysler loan us $6000 I explained our situation to Chrysler financial before, but they keep harrassing us with 100's of phone calls, even at 10 p.m. and early mornings and sundays...today I called to make 2 payments..leaving me only one month behind...they told me that the whole balance was due and that interest would be accrued everyday..when I asked about the rate..she wouldn't tell and told me that it would vary, menaing they can increase it as much as they want..they have already charged me $300 intereste for the 3 late payments..
when I initially called an 800, they told me there was no balance in my account..I was given 3 different 800's before I endced at the right dept!!! I was shocked when they told me that the whole balance was due or else they would pick the car..that's the only one I have to drive my baby son for medical checks!!! they wouldn't listen and told me that my a/c was charged off and I needed to pay the who amount or make monthly payment of $500...my original monthly payment is $263 and I had until december to pay...they are so rude, not compassionate employees..just wanting to earn their commission, disregarding your situation...it's horrible!!!
It has caused me a lot of stress...in august last year they even called me, while I was in the hospital, just after I had a c-section and my baby was on NICU...they called me on my cell-phone!!! I told them I was in the hospital, they would still harrass me!!!
It's not that I am not willing to pay...without the late huge interest, my account balance would have been $1700..now I owed $2150..we have paid $4000 our of $6500!!! for a car that has transmission problem and window fallen apart just after a year!!!
They are so inconsiderate and have no customer service...just running after their commission, these evil agents!!!

I am a Soldier and I have been in combat keeping the peace in our land, but, when I see the our own people tried to be so agresive and with out any peofesionalism to deal with a simple month behind collection, I get really upset.
They haven't get yet too the point that they will drive me crazy, but my wife is already to the point to ask me for divorce

On August 30 2006 my wife was ricked into leasing a PT Cruiser from Champion Chrysler in Independence, MO. I believe they falisified the credit application to make her qualify. We tryed 3 times on August 31 to return the car only to have it drivenback to us. I e-mailed Chrysler on September and they replied on 9/05 and stated they had nothing to do with it. My wife than recieved a letter from Chrysler dated 9/12 saying they did approve the loan.
My wife cannot make the payments based on her income. In the last 18 months Chrysler has called about late payments almost every day. They either refuse to talk to me or hang up because I am a third party. They had made inquiries into my credit and sent a letter to my homeowners insurance saying I do not pay my bills. My home is mine and I bought it before I was married and according to the Mo. AGO it is against the law to check into someones credit without their permission. I have filed complaints with the Mo. and Michigan AGO,s and the BBB that Chrysler refuses to respond to. I have asked Chrysler to quit harressing me but they continue to do so. What can I do?
My credit score has went down and my homeowners insurance has went up and I am slowly going insane.

This person has been contacting our client, regarding her daughter's, outstanding car loan debt. She has informed him to stop harassing her, and he has not. Mrs. Felton has referred Chrysler Financial Services to her attorney, this office, and they have not stopped calling her. They have harassed her with over 40 telephone calls. Our office has contacted Chrysler Financial Services to put a stop to the harassment, only to be told that they do not know of such a person.

They continue to put a company truck on my personal credit report, showing it as derogatory. I don't make the payments, MY COMPANY DOES! So either [they should] put ALL THE COMPANY VEHICLES ON MY PERSONAL REPORT, or TAKE THAT ONE OFF!
The entry on my personal credit report is the ONLY derogatory entry and screws up my credit rating.

We were forced to file bankruptcy about 6 months ago. We have a car loan with Chrysler Financial, and we did not name them in our bankruptcy. They asked us to reinstate our loan to them and sent us the paperwork to do this; and we signed them and returned them. They tell us now that we must send our payments to them at their bankruptcy section, and we must make all payments through this section. I have tried getting in touch with this mysterious dept. hundreds of times now, and I always get a recording that they are not in at this time.
I have called only during the hours given, and these people don't seem to actually exist. We would like to know our status with them concerning our loan, but when we call the usual Chrysler #, they always refer us to this 'mystery' dept. They won't send us a monthly invoice, and we have asked them to do this; but once again, they refer us to the mystery dept. What do we do now? Thank you for your time.

In October 2005, we leased a Jeep through Chrysler Financial. The lease was for 27 months so in August 2007 we started looking for a new automobile to replace it. The local dealership where we purchased it explained that we must purchase a new automobile with in 90 days of the expiration of the lease or pay a monetary penalty.
I talked to three different dealerships explaining the situation about the Jeep being a leased vehicle and was told the same by all, that as long as I purchased a new vehicle within the time period I would be ok. Not once by any of the three dealerships was I told that if I financed through a different bank that there would be a 318.00 dollar penalty. Chrysler Financial sent us a statement for payment on Feb 7, 2007 for not financing through them.

On 1/20/07 I purchased new jeep and financed it with Chrysler Financial. The messed up the paperwork and never mailed me an invoice for payment, and no paperwork was sent to the state for license plates. They started phone calls to a relative (four times a day) asking for payment. When I finally heard about this, I called Chrysler financial and spoke with a person who was of little help and rude. I requested a supervisor, was transferred to gentleman by the name of Sean Sweeney (12/19/07, 8:45 am). I explained the problem of no paperwork to me or the state. He informed me that he takes care of this and would invoice me for payment. I received a payment voucher on 1/24/08 for a due date of 2/05/08 as Mr. Sweeney stated. Now I'm being harassed by them for being late and one payment behind.
I spoke with someone today (2/19/08) and asked for their supervisor and was on hold for ten minutes. A person by the name of JOSH DAVIS finally got on line and asked me what I wanted. I told him about my conversation with Mr. Sweeney, and he informed me that there isn't a Mr. Sweeney and hung up on me. I'm no further ahead trying to solve this problem that I didn't create.
IF CHRYSLER FINANCIAL WOULD HAVE CONTACTED ME RIGHT AWAY, THIS ALL COULD HAVE STRAIGHTENED OUT. MY CREDIT WITH THEM AND EVERYONE ELSE EXCELLENT (HAVE HAD ANOTHER ACCOUNT WITH THEM SINCE 2005). CHRYSLER HAS STATED THAT, BUT NOW I'M SUPPOSED TO DOUBLE UP ON PAYMENT, WITHOUT AN INVOICE. WHAT CHANCE OF THEM CREDITING THE RIGHT ACCT. WHEN THE PAPER WORK CAN'T BE SENT TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE? I NEED HELP.

Logan of Chrysler Financial called on 1/29/08 stated he needed to get a hold of my neighbor, he had been trying to contact her for two months.I then asked him who he was and how did he obtain my personal information He replied from the directory. At that point I wrote his name and number down and said good bye. I know that my neighbor is avoiding Chrysler Financial for two months, this I do not need to know. I do not know how he obtain my phone number and name or even how he geographically put my neighbor and I together.I personally do not know or have met my neighbor as of today. How can this happen when my personal info is unlisted?
Unsure about my Privacy, who will he give my personal info to? How can a chrysler financal get this information?
