I paid in full for my car on November 23rd, 2021, they have been going back and forth with the title because they supposedly sent it and I never got it and today, 25th of January, they said they have sent it the second time, and I haven't received it yet... They just told me to go on a website, and put the information there, and my account is non-existent because I already paid it off, so I call again (this will be around the 15th time I do) and the lady says like nothing "I can just email you the title via email". And I asked, "why the ** this wasn't done before?" The whole hassle for nothing, not only that, now I have to wait another 15 business days for them to send an email??? This is insane guys... If you can choose any other company to lend you money over this one, DO SO!! I'M DEFINITELY GETTING LAWYERS ON THIS...

I have been a Chrysler Capital lease customer for 15 plus years and never missed a payment (even in 2020!). Got the August statement and it shows no previous payment credited now owing 2 payments! After 8 calls to “customer service” we found out that my check was damaged in processing so it wasn’t posted and they never notified me. Resent the replacement check and 2 days later the August check. Come to find out the August check is strangely “missing”. We are back to square one with them, stopping payment on this check and sending in 2 together. Odds are they will never correct the issue. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!

I don't know, how in a world they have 4 stars, look yelp 1 SOLID star.** Chrysler Financial needs to be investigated for taking advantage and misleading customers. Chrysler Financial - please do yourselves a favor and Google (Chrysler Financial Tx yelp). Do you have a manager who is interested in improving the company? Or it is run by a bot? Update your payment system or do you benefit from limitations? We pay our car out, we have BOA statements and prove of bill pay, but Chrysler Financial doesn't care. The car has equity meaning they want it back, they claim they need 10 days to process payment before they stated it is 5 days per executive office. We are waiting on what will happen with a car, Rene from the executive office provide no clear instructions regarding confirmation on payment. We sent an email with all prove, no response. This company has no ethics, respect, or customer service. BE AWARE.

I expect somebody from the Management team to read this review and fix the customer service and accounting department! I got a statement for proprieties taxes for $ 857.41!! It was really high; when I called Chrysler Capital, they told me it was for taxes; I called the City of Shelton, and they said to me that my taxes were $281.03 for 2019 (already paid for me to Chrysler Capital in March 2020 and on my April statement as paid) and $ 581.57 for 2020; again called Chrysler Capital and they assured me that I did not pay 2019 (even though I asked to look to my April 2020!!), after several hours on the phone, they told me that I paid but that I should call them and advise because that amount went to my regular payments...
My regular payments are auto-paid and for a different amount; it seems that now customers have to do accounting job and customer service job! So people start calling Chrysler for every payment and tax paid (is what they wanted), it seems that phone calls are not enough for them! Also, they won’t give a letter saying that I paid my taxes, and they made a mistake, and that my account is current.

Do not use Chrysler Financing. Not customer friendly. If a problem no one will help you. Paid my car off within 3 months and they send the title back to the dealer for resale and not to me. 43,000.00 dollar loan paid off in 3 months and they dont care about me, my car, my title.

Bought a new car and my credit union was close on weekends so I went with the dealers in house lender Chrysler Capital. I about to make my first payment and called customer service because the website that would pop up looks bogus. They are not the friendliest and not helpful at all, her ID# is **. She put me on a hold for no reason. After 25 minutes of holding without a sound I just hung up. My thing is if you hate your job then you can just quit.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my whole entire life. Had a lease for 24 months for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Paid for my lease payment. Turned in the car to the dealership. Also paid their 400$ fee for returning the car. All I want is to get is a letter claiming that I no longer have any payments to Chrysler Capital and they won’t give it to me. This is affecting me because I cannot get a finance on another car because they won’t release my documents to me to state I NO LONGER HAVE PAYMENT. This company is a disgrace. I’m so upset.

I took a car for leasing, pay my bills on time every month and can't draw my car. This company gives you headaches and unnecessary stress.

This is the third vehicle I've financed through Chrysler. I've always paid more than the minimum payment, always paid at least two weeks before the due date, no automatic drafts, and always paid the account off early. This past month I inadvertently clicked on the wrong account (I had two) and the draft was declined. When I realized my error I called Chrysler and was told no problem, the payment wasn't due yet anyway. This month when I went to make the payment my account was blocked and Chrysler wanted the payment by credit card only and wanted six payments in advance to open the account. I told them to screw themselves; paid the balance in full and closed the account myself. I won't do business with Chrysler again, ever!

Updated on 05/21/2020: I posted earlier about the fact that no dealer would take my leased Pacifica and that now I'm garaging at my home for Chrysler. They finally answered when I just called. First, they threatened to hang up if I was recording the call! 2nd, they acknowledged now that the dealerships would NOT take lease van return. 3rd, they will have "options" call us to arrange to pick up the car but don't know when. 4th. they will not pay me to insure the car while I garage it for them BUT I must insure it as per the lease agreement.
Original Review: My lease was scheduled to be up so I had the van inspected a few months ago as required and it passed. I contacted dealers within about 50 mile radius. They all say that because of covid they have too many cars on their lots! They will only take the van if I buy a new one! Now as I garage the van for Chrysler at my home and insure it but not use it, they continue to bill me monthly but won't take it back!!!!

You have to waste near 30 minutes of your time trying to get ahold of someone just for them to have an automated response saying call Back at normal business hours. Well some people work your normal business hours so we get left in the dust. Also there’s no way to skip past the 10 minute long opening speech... and no option upfront to just talk to a person. I have to jump 6 different menus And even then it doesn't give you an option to speak with someone. I have to press 0# 57 times before it stops telling me it’s not a valid option and transfers me to another automated system where I have to press a bunch of stuff all over again until it gives me an option to speak with someone. Automated systems like this is what makes people with PTSD want to rage out. I'm not sure who you have that decides this stuff but they need to be fired and Hire me, I Guarantee if I ran this stuff your reviews and ratings will climb out of the gutter that they are in.

I never had a late payment and usually paid extra on my car financed with Chrsyler Financial. My car was deemed a total loss due to a deer hit on February 4, 2020. My adjuster sent the letter of guarantee to Chrysler Financial and was told settlement breakdown did not need to be sent with it. The adjuster went on vacation and upon return was told she did need settlement breakdown as well as police report, etc.
After sending this information she waited for the return of the LOG and nothing was received. She continued to call Chrysler and by the time she rec'd the LOG the 10 day payoff had gone up...more money in Chrysler Financial's pocket. I had a payment coming due so in order to not have a blemish on my credit report I made my payment as scheduled, mind you I have not received my check from our insurance company because they have to settle with Chrysler before I get my check.
So at this point I have now put a down payment on a new car out of my pocket, paid a car payment on a car that I haven't had for a month and I already have a car payment coming due on the new car! FINALLY, March 11 I see the loan with Chrysler Financial is paid in full so I call and ask when I will receive my refund...the refund that was automatically swept from my bank account on February 28. I am told a debit card will be mailed to me on APRIL 14!
I immediately asked for a manager, this is BS, I have not done anything wrong, the first CSR that spoke with my adjuster gave out incorrect information, not my fault, I want my refund. I get a condescending witch of a lead for accounts and she tells me ALL insurance carriers know what needs to be sent on total losses...WRONG thing to say, I am an adjuster and every lienholder is different. At this point she states they did nothing wrong and they will not expedite my refund, so there is nothing else she can do for me. So...in short, if you owe them money, pay up immediately. If they owe you money, you'll get it when they are damn good and ready. Wish I would have paid higher interest and gone elsewhere!

In my experience, this was a horrible company to interact with. They repossessed the vehicle after two missed payments and denied any reinstatement. I never received a letter or an email regarding the status of the account and intent to repossess. I had to call 5 times to find out the status of the vehicle and confirm it was repossessed. It took 3 days to request a reinstatement that was denied initially then escalated for extensive review and denied again after experiencing a short-term hardship.
It has also taken 3 days just to get further information on retrieving my personal items and set an appointment 4 days out. Requesting I call one company who they claimed had the vehicle information and whereabouts. This company only supplied with the name and phone number of the towing company where their automated line tells me I have to schedule the appointment online. Once completing this process I get a text message from them indicating that the message is not a confirmation and that I must wait for someone to reach out to me. This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.

This is the WORST place to get financed from. I ran into having to have surgery and wanted to see if I could defer my car payment for one month to the end of my lease. Ford Credit who I had before would always work with you if you needed any help. These people don’t give a crap about you or willing to help. All they say is, "Sorry that happened to you but we can’t help!" After this car I will NEVER have a car financed through this plaCe. I suggest if you are getting a car make sure they try every other place instead of this place to get financed from, and if they can’t do any other place find a new car with a new company.

This must be by far the most outdated and unprofessional financial institution on the planet! Very rude customer service representative, they have that underlying, lecturing and belittling attitude, like you are some criminal or bum because you have a loan with them. Their website which is so incredibly outdated that it does not work properly and if you call to complain about it they will not help (they can't anyway because they have no clue how) but start to act like it is your fault they have been unsuccessful constructing a user friendly website. The whole self respecting financial world is using online banking but they still force you to send them a payment through MoneyGram or WesternUnion because their system won't allow any changes in repetitive payment. Very amateuristic and a no-go ever again!!!!

Three years ago, I was accepted to a university and had to move across the country. I tried to keep my car, but found the lease payments unmanageable. I tried to sell the car, sell the lease, everything I could do, to no avail. Finally, I decided to return the car to the dealership, knowing that I would likely owe Chrysler Financial an amount for the termination of my lease. I only asked that they send me a letter outlining the owed amount.
Over the past two years, I keep getting phone calls demanding that I pay them over twelve thousand dollars, which is more than the car was worth and I was able to learn that they sold it for more than twelve thousand dollars. They refuse to give me a statement outlining where the charges are coming from, and they continue to attack my credit. Even when I log on to my online account, there is no statement outlining the charges. There is only a billed amount. I do not trust them, and I am afraid that if I pay the amount without a billing statement, I will have no record to show that I was overcharged or unfairly billed, if I have been. This has been a nightmare. I do not recommend using them at all.

My husband and I have owned Chrysler vehicles for the past 12 years. We have enjoyed raising our family with 2 grand caravans. I usually pay my van payment online using their website. It is a convenient way to stay on top of my budget. Last year, we were preparing to get our house on the market. Everyone knows hectic that process can be. I made my van payment as I usually do, received a confirmation via email. Nearly weeks later I received my statement and my payment was reversed.
Apparently, when I made my payment, I entered a number incorrectly. I called Chrysler Credit and they could not offer any addition information other than they tried to call me. Unfortunately, during that time frame my cell phone was not working properly either. THEY NEVER ATTEMPTED TO REACH ME VIA EMAIL, AS THAT'S HOW I MADE MY PAYMENT ANYWAY. Of course, that changed my credit score, increasing my interest rate. My husband and I sent Chrysler a letter begging them to over turn the listing on our credit, as it was an honest mistake, but they said no. We have hired Lexington Law, a company that helps with the credit report. Again, Chrysler will not budge.
I WILL NEVER, EVER, deal with that company again. It's a shame, because it's time for another vehicle, my credit score is better, and I won't even test drive their vehicles. Just one mistake defined my life as far as my new mortgage for 30 years. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. USE ANOTHER COMPANY. They are unreasonable, and expect excellence with their customers, when they cannot deliver excellence themselves.

I have sent in double payments all their way through, but Chrysler Financial figured out how to charge me a late fee anyway. Now I'm on hold with them forever and they refuse to remove the late fee even though they are already in possession of another payment. Jamal refused to help me on the phone saying they would have to receive the additional payment first....even though my bank confirms they already have the money. Can you imagine a company that cares so little about their reputation that they will not remove a very small late fee. Of course at the same time the vehicle itself is in the shop with a huge electrical issue. I guess a crappy finance company to go with a crappy car company. NEVER AGAIN!!

Do not use this financial service if you can avoid it. They will try and charge you up and beyond what you own them, and what you signed in the contract. If you value your time, and money and are trying to build a credit score do not use this company. They have also found a way to ding your credit just enough where you can not get refinanced so you are stuck with them. I pay my payment every month and have been charged late fees on top of paying more than what I owe. I used to be with Wells Fargo and they never did this. Plus I was accused of hanging up on their calls when I never received calls from them that I answered. There are a greedy company that finds ways to ruin a consumer's way of living and needs to be held accountable. Just search for all the customers who are working on suing them. It is unbelievable.

I closed a lease with them and opened another with them immediately the day after a few weeks ago. The only problem I've had with them is getting a refund on an over-payment on the previous lease. After three weeks of no indication (online account, e-mail, letter, etc.) that this would be taken care of and waiting for them to process this without my involvement, I had to call and prompt them to look into this.
After one hand-off to another department, that department said they needed to hand this off to accounting. That will take a few business days more for their review. Once that's done, I was was told I can expect a refund (if, as they stated, I'm due a refund when it's plain as day that I am due one) within 60 days of the termination of my previous lease. That is a LONG time and I can't honestly say after getting off the phone with them that I won't have to call them again after a few more weeks of waiting. Maybe this would have been processed at some point but I was given no indication with anyone I spoke with that it would have been without my prompting. I guess we shall see...

This bank is very sneaky. They put into the contract, and never point this out, that even if you pay every single payment, ON TIME, they black mail you into payment a ridiculous fee that if you don't lease another car within 30 days they can just charge you! They have zero regard for even a great customer. While every business is always looking to make a profit, it's the blackmail that is morally wrong. Regardless of an excellent reason for needing to extend the time to lease another car. I would never use this bank again. Proceed at your own risk.
