For many years, I have used CashNetUSA, but it was not until recently that it has become outrageous with their usury. For an $800 you pay more than triple back. Now, the website is set to force consumers to take out loans higher than they request or want. When I asked about it, the person on the phone hung up especially when I asked if FCC, FTC, BBB and Consumer Protection Agency knew about this. They have made thousands and thousands forcing people to continue to pay on their loans with the balance seldom going down. Don't believe these nuts.

About a week ago I went online and found cashnetusa.com and decided to apply for loan. However my loan was rejected. About two days later I get a call from a man claiming to be Mike **. He had a very heavy accent like that of someone from India or Pakistan. The number was ** and on my caller ID it indicated that the name belong to Patricia **. Anyway this person proceeded to tell me that I qualify for a $3,000 loan although I was only looking for 800 the time. I explained I didn't need that large amount and 800 will be fine but he told me 3000 was the minimum. With needing to get groceries and pay bills and get caught up on past due rent I took a chance and that's exactly what it was... a chance... So I let down my guard and gave all of my information including my online mobile banking info.

Mr. ** told me that my account to be verified before I will receive the entire $3,000. He told me that an initial deposit of anywhere from 500 to $1,000 would be deposited into my account and once it posted I was supposed to go to my bank and withdraw the money or do it at Walmart and then send him a wire via MoneyGram.

After 3 days I got an email from my bank letting me know that there was a hold on my account for approximately $1,330 and that there was another amount deposited of $887 that they could not collect on and that deposit was kicked out. Once the deposit was made Mr. ** called me immediately and told me I needed to get to the bank Walmart to wire the money as soon as possible because it was time sensitive. During the phone conversations I could tell that this was not a call center that my phone call with into because in a call center you normally would hear other employees talking on the phone and I didn't hear any of that. It was very quiet.

Mr. ** was very aggressive and pushy. I was told that our phone conversation will be recorded and if I accepted the terms of the loan offer that it would been as good as if I had actual signed documents. To make a long story short the deposit that went into my account actually cleared around 7 pm est. I will not be wiring this gentleman any money and hopefully this money will just fall off.

I was afraid of what might happen since this man had all of my information including my mobile banking info so I contacted my bank and told them what was going on and I asked them if they could give me a timeframe on how many days it take to find out if a deposit is fraudulent. I just asked them to close the account. I went back online and change my username and my password. My bank put a freeze on that existing account and set me up a new checking account. They are also sending me a new debit card. I feel somewhat relieved now but I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. We all work too hard for the money that we make and it is sad that people will knowingly scam you out of your money and not care.

Well, I almost made the mistake of becoming one of their little guinea pigs until my husband did some research on Cashnetusa.com. I talked to Don. He had an accent. He wanted me to go to Wal-mart, purchase an iTunes card and put $213 on it. Then I would call him back and they would deposit money into our account. I am so thankful for this site. It gave the information I need to stay away from this company.

Received email 2 weeks ago indicating I was approved for a 5,000 loan by Peter **. I provided my banking information and they indicated they would deposit the initial funds to verify my account and then provide remainder. The checks deposited were immediately flagged by bank for fraud and my account was placed on hold and the checks then bounced and I was charged for the returned checks. The fraud dept indicated to me that it's a common technique used by Cashnet USA.

I was threatened with imprisonment, check fraud charges, federal banking violations, and theft by deception. I was told that if I paid $698 now I could avoid the $9000 plus that I would owe later. I was also told that I could hire an attorney but that I better have someone present to bail me out when I lose my case. Total scam for money. I did not pay and I've reported them to every bureau I can think of.

I am really going thru right now. When school started Clark County School District reduced all of support staff wages. If I had of know my money would have been cut, I never would have applied for an annuity to be coming out of my paycheck. Being a single mother with a limited income is so hard these days; so most people I know have to keep getting payday loans to survive. But what most people don't realize is that these loans will put you right in the poor house. I have tried over and over to get the money stopped and for some reason payroll is telling me that it's American Fidelity fault that they are still taking my money.

My reason for going into details with this is that if the annuity is stopped I would have enough on the 1st of the month to pay my rent, and would not have to result to getting payday loans. So with the high cost of insurance being taken out of my check as well, I don't have enough money to pay my rent, buy food or anything else. So I got an online payday loan from Cash Net USA. I had gotten a loan from Cash net USA before, and I did get behind on the loan, but the loan was paid off. So I call them on Sunday to see I could get another loan. 4/22/16 I found out that they sold my loan to Debt Management Partners 800-883-9067. I could not understand when my office manager at my school got the first call from them; they were threatening to come to my job around 7 am in the morning to embarrass me if I didn't pay the loan off.

Immediately I called my husband, told him what was going on so he gave me his bank card to go and pay on the loan. I had no idea that Cash Net USA had sold my loan to these people. I really thought Cash Net USA was the ones that were coming to pay me a visit. So when I got the news from my office manager I immediately made the call from the number which was given to her; and the person who I talked to on the phone was just low down and dirty. Just vicious!!! They were so nasty to me! So I called the Debt management company made arrangements to pay off the rest, and I did. Now, these people have messed me up. I am not able to get a loan with anyone.

Every time I go online to get a loan the first thing I am asked is? "Do you still owe Cash Net USA on a loan?" When I call Cash Net they transfer me from person to person, finally the last person tells me they have no control over the loan, and there is nothing that they can do. Please don't ever deal with these people. It's too easy to get a loan. I need money really bad right now, but I will pray and ask God for help. I will never in my life deal with anymore payday loans. Payday loans caused me my marriage. My husband got really tired of me getting loan after loan. I would get one loan to pay off the next.

I was living beyond my means. Now I really need to get one and can't. Something always work out anyway. I know I paid this loan off, and I am content. When I think about it, I'm grateful that I can't get another loan. These people are getting rich off of us. Remember if you are paying off a loan online, please send a check or money order, never use your bank card, or credit card. When asked for a receipt you will never get it. I hope that these people are put out of business!!!

I filed a complaint against CashNetUSA last week to BBB. The purpose I filed a complaint concerning them is because of my payments concerning $203.65. Well it start off like this, my sister passed just before Christmas, and I needed some money to purchase a ticket to Oakland, Ca. So I apply for a loan online to a website emergency loans for people who is getting SSDA. So as I said I apply and was approved for $550.00 which was good to get my ticket and still I had some leftover. I was thinking, "Ok this payment probably be $25.00 a month", but then when they sent me my statement over email it was $150.00. Then a wk later it was 162.50. So paid that thinking "ok if the payments be 162.50 a month that be good" I have it paid off in four months.

So last week as I mention before they sent me an email that my payment will be $203.05 for this month. So I call them and spoke to lady forgot her name, I ask her why is my payment of $162.50 jump up to $203.05, she said because they charge interest each day until the 1st. So if your payment is on the 1st of every month they charge you interest each day until you make that payment. So what I did I told her that I wasn't going to paid all that interest and besides the loan will never get paid off. So what me and my wife done this week we had our bank to stop the payments. My wife explain to our bank why we was doing this and they agreed with us. This company seem like they good but they are not. I have to admit I did make a stupid choice. But again I apply for an emergency loan and they gave me CashNetUSA.

Was contacted on the phone by a ** number (for all you Michiganders)... an lady with a heavy Midwestern accent called herself Carol... told me to get the money network pay card of 150 dollars for insurance because I had such bad credit. She told me the money I paid her would be applied to that loan and that I could use it for when I don't have the money to make a payment. I was like "ok" and didn't think nothing about it. Gave her the number and what have you. Then she told me a day later mind you... That because I don't have a wire transfer account the federal bank wasn't letting them deposit money into my account.

She told me after I got a 50 dollar card I will be able to get that transferred. I said ok and got the card. Gave the lady the numbers then she wanted to lie and said that she told me 100 dollars not 50. I called ** immediately with this company and told her ok with the intention on never sending her another cent. These people have got me for my money. Thankfully for this website and a gut feeling I was able to stop this from getting out of hand. I strongly recommend all teenagers like me or people with my same bad credit situation to avoid this company. The company and its promises seem too good to be true because it is. If you need cash go to a payday loan office...write a check. Pay them on time, build up your credit. Please don't be fooled by these lowlifes. As I'm looking through these reviews apparently they have already made off with some serious money. And that's just from the people who have commented.

Asked the Arab guy on the phone, "will I have to pay a fee up front?" He said, "well depends on your credit." I said no. He said "we will cancel your application then." That is fine with me. I just had one company saying I needed to pay this fee and that fee and ended up somehow posting a fraudulent check in my account. My bank went ahead and cashed it. I used the money, found out its a fraud. Now, I am overdrawn. Think I learned my lesson the first time. If you're a loan company you give out a loan, not ask for fees.

I recently like so many other people ran into a problem and need some money. I got a 600 dollar loan from Cashnet USA. All was going good until yesterday afternoon when I received a call from Cashnet USA saying I qualified for a loan increase up to 7000 and if I took the whole amount I would pay 213.00 a month. Like a fool I agreed and sent them a MoneyGram to a guy named Devin ** in Atlanta GA who was supposed to be the reviewing loan manager. A Indian foreign speaking dude by the name Don ** told me I would have my funds in my account in one hour. So to cut to the chase it never happened. The number he provided was a **. When I called to see why another guy in same language said he was Anthony from the accounting dept. I automatically realized I have been taken as a fool.

Some people would say why did you fall for it, and here's my answer. Cashnet USA sent me their loan documents to sign and it looks legit. Now this morning I called the 888 number for the real Cashnet USA and told them I'm not making any payments until I get this resolved and they acted like it was no big deal, but would send me a complaint form to fill out. I opened my email and clicked on the form to sign and it takes you to a site called whoof. But you guessed it I couldn't open up link. So my question is the real Cashnet USA also being fraudulent even though they did fund me 600.00. I will never fall for a scam like this again. I consider my 224.00 a loss but at least I didn't lose a lot more than that. So people out there be extremely careful in doing anything online due to loan and or purchases online. I contacted my local authorized as well as the authorities in the state of Illinois where this is originating from.

Then I got a call during my payments to RJA Capital threatening to discontinue my benefits, jail time, a huge fine and I had only a day to gather 600 dollars up to pay off this Cashnet USA loan ($500 now remember). I have several medical issues and it threw me into a panic. These people were hateful so my mom helped me. Then I was transferred to another agent which I'm not racist but I'm sick of getting a hold of people you can't understand there from the sands of eternal war. Then the phone numbers no longer worked.

Soon after that I got a call saying I still owed 150$ on this loan. In the meantime RJA Capital sent me a letter saying I was paid in full. I had to fax this letter 3 times from my local courthouse, before they would say it was paid off. Well that's not the end. Cashnet USA called me and said I still owe them $800 bucks. There's no end to these loan sharks. It's on my credit now. I'm 53, my health is to the point I could die tonight. So I was scammed yesterday. I really learned my lesson. I believed what I was told and went for it. They prey off of people who are really trying to build their credit and change some things in their lives to make it better. So I received an email from cashnetusa. And called them and everything they said was great. I would get 2000 for 190 a month and that is it. Told me that in order for me to do this I would need to go and prove that I am an able bodied person and can make the payments. So I called back when I was told to. And Mr. ** whom had been working with me said that he had someone to verify my funds and to go to Dollar General and once there to call him. SO I did so and ended up getting a Moneygram for 200 dollars. And gave him the number. And he said in 15 mins that my loan would be there and once it is there I would have papers at my doorstep in 3 days to sign the contract agreement.

SO I waited and called back and was transferred to a Mr **. He said he was in accounts. So he then tells me that I have a tax on my name and they will pay half and I will need to pay the other half. And within 15 min the money will all be put into my account. The 200 that I already gave them and the 200 I needed to give them. SO I once again. Got a Moneygram for the money and gave them the numbers. I waited on the line and he comes back and tells me that the Federal Trade Commission says that they can't do it this way, that it all has to be registered in my name to pay the tax. And in order to complete this I would need to get another Moneygram for 200 more dollars.

It was then at that moment I realized what had happened. I told the gentlemen on the phone that I will not pay another cent and that I will be going to the local police department to turn this in. I have all the information and the names of every one that I talked to including the email that was sent. He then stated that he would be glad to cancel the application but it will take 27 business days for the money to get back to me. I told him that I want my money back and I will be reporting them and he stated that they have the application and they will turn my name over to the IRS because I have taxes on my name that are unpaid and the IRS will investigate this and so on and so forth. I then told him that he can do whatever he likes and that I will be going to the authorities and getting this taken care of.

Someone really needs to do something about this company. I have seen and read so many people with the same problem from them. There has to be something that can be done. Being that it is a weekend I have to wait till Monday to change any banking information and I hope that in that time that nothing else happens. I honestly hope that something is done and that these people are punished for the wrong they have done. They are taking people's money. And hurting a lot of people by doing so.

I had to run to 3 different stores because the MoneyGram was down. They promised that 15 minutes after I did the transaction, they would deposit $3500.00 into the same account they deposited money into for me to withdraw and send.

I told them that if I did all that work it was imperative that they follow through - my son is scheduled for a medical procedure that I need to pay for upfront due to a high deductible. I did as they asked, took him to the hospital for the procedure and completed his prep, which included many needles and medication. The money was never deposited. The payment never went through and the procedure has now been delayed and he will have to endure all of the prep again.

Please tell me that if I go with this loan I will not be put through all of the above again and it will be a smoother process. I am in dire straits and desperately need to get a loan to get his procedure done, but I cannot take anymore time off work to run to the bank, run to a Western Union/MoneyGram then wait for nothing to happen. I am more than willing to do money transfers from my computer and I spoke to both MoneyGram and Western Union and they said that it is the same process as my going in person or online. Then today they tell me they made another deposit and I have to go through same process again. They made another deposit. Their first deposit was returned and now they took $15 of my money, leaving my account negative! Today the 2nd deposit was returned, taking our direct deposit of $574 to cover it and we are now $100+ in the negative. That was all our rent money.

They have these discount codes for long term customers which you put in the contracts to lower the fees. But when it comes time to complete the loan they claim you never put the discount code in. The same thing happens when trying to extend. They also claim collecting the loan takes days to prevent extension of the loan just before the contract ends. Then when you call they are nasty and say a supervisor will call. They were not like this in the past, it is a recent development. Before they would fix problems. Not too smart for a type of business many in congress are trying to eliminate. I was a long term customer and they screwed me over.

Ok so the real CashNetUSA who I currently have a loan through is a legit online loan service. I have had no complaints with them whatsoever. Apparently though these scammer ** (pardon my language) had called me claiming to be with CashNetUSA and that I got approved for a 5000.00 loan. Stupid me, should have gotten the hint when everyone I talked to was obviously not from America, but I am not racist so I didn't think much about it. Anyway they tell me I had to pay a 140.00 dollars for this insurance and then they tell me they were having issues with depositing it into my bank. So I had to pay another 150.00 for them to send it Western Union. Then when I called back, they said it did not go through and I needed to send another 150.00.

By this time I finally caught on and told them I want my money back and they said there is no way they can do that. So if you get a phone call from a 415-799-8484 number, it is a scam. Or anybody who says to send them cash to receive cash. I called the real CashNetUSA and told them and they said it was a scam that it is illegal to do such thing. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Got a loan, 600 dollars. Payments range from 200 to 350 a month. Been paying on it a year and half with different payments that auto-draft out my account each month. Have paid them back at least 4 to 5 times what I borrowed. Got it down to 100 to pay off. They did a recycle type period, my balance went back up and started over. No one there speaks barely any English and very rude and non-cooperative. They are clearly scamming thieves. Steer clear of this company. They get zero stars in every department in my book.

UPDATED ON 09/03/2015: These people prey on those that are in a bind! They give you a starting balance and up it as you pay more back. Problem is the more you pay the higher the balance owed goes up. I started at a 600 limit ended at 1050 as I paid off. Finally after a 400 advance I've paid in the neighborhood of 4500 back in interest fees etc and they auto debit your account. If the money's not there they continue to debit racking up bank fees. This was the biggest headache I ever dealt with.

I just paid off today whereas balance last week was 404, today it was magically 527 along with over 200 in bank fees where they kept trying to debit, and banks love it because they get the fee money. There's no point calling either because the closest English you get you can't understand and the manager happens to be the same person you originally talk to after a dense wait. I would literally sell my soul to the devil before ever dealing with them again. Very lousy service and product. They prey on those with bad credit and in a financial bind. Then just like everyone else is saying asked for an insurance fee. I was on my way to western union when I thought "this sounds too fishy." So I checked this site and read the horrible reviews. I immediately had my wife call navy federal and tell them. At the same time I called these "lenders".

I told them point blank I would prosecute and file a CIVIL case if they touched my account. At first I was told they aren't a scam but after I kept ranting and telling them how low they are I was told and I quote. "We've been doing this for 12 years. I am going to start working on the paperwork right now. We will get your money and there is nothing you can do about. ** You." Then he hung up. Luckily I changed all my info before they could touch a penny. Thanks to navy federal and thank god for these unfortunate reviews. Please don't use them for your own good. Never condescending, mean or anything but nice. I can't say enough good things about this company and the people who work for them. Also, they are very upfront about the fees, much more so than the banks I've dealt with (except NFCU, they are really good too). I believe the negative reviews about Cashnet are people who simply don't want to pay back their debts because Cashnet reps are always willing to work with me when things get difficult. I told him I have no clue what he is talking about and he said "Well, that will be a $99 cancellation fee and we will deduct that out of your checking account." By this time I was getting frustrated. Then he said "if you want to hang up go ahead." Before I could say anything else he hung up.

I would not put money on any prepaid card because if you are paying them money to get a loan, why would you need a loan?? This would only make matters worse because you wouldn't need a loan if you had all of the hundreds of dollars that some people have had to put on prepaid cards to get a loan & some I have read never got their money & some never said if they got their money or not!! I did this and gave him the number on the card. Waited for his call back, gave him my banking info. No call back. This morning I called and talked to Alan. He said it was late yesterday and the system shut down. He said he would call back in an hour. He called, this time saying they tried 3x to deposit the money and it wouldn't allow it, so now I need to go to Western Union and pay more money to receive the money. I told him I read about the complaints and knew this was going to happen at which time he became irritable and I did too. I demanded my refund and he assured me I would get it. Sure. Then when I tried talking to him some more, he hung up on me. What a scam and I fell for it. I am so angry and embarrassed.

I just received a call, at my work, from a (Indian accented) deputy sheriff from New York City, New York (they have NYPD not sheriffs). He said he was going to put me on hold to speak to the sheriff himself. I heard 4 telephone digit tones and then another, Indian accented, person picked up. With the sound of multiple people in the background, like a call center, he states that there is a warrant for my arrest in New York City, in which I have never been east of AZ in my life, for internet fraud. I then cautiously asked "For what?" He stated that I had taken a loan out from Cash Net USA (didn't happen), that they were unable to recover the funds. He then stated that they were just writing it off but had turned it into the sheriff's department for criminal charges. He then states that with the $7000+ court fees that will be transferred to my county, that they could settle out of court for $550.

He asked what I was planning on doing. I asked him how he could sleep at night knowing that he is reading from a script and that he was attempting to scam me. I told him that I had already read the "Consumer Affairs" scam report. He then stated in a frantically loud/scared voice "WHAT DO MEAN YOU MOTHER **?" and then I hung up. Learn from my mistakes and check out the company online before you submit any applications online because they now have ALL of YOUR information. And any company that wants you to put money on a Green Dot/disposable debit card to get a loan, IT'S A SCAM! If they also want to put an undisclosed small amount of money into your checking account to then give it back to them to verify your account... It's probably a scam also.

There are Indian people calling and emailing people telling them that I owe money to all these payday places. Seriously, google it. Cash net USA scams. These people are calling and emailing people telling them if they don't buy a prepaid card and send them all this money that people really don't owe, then they will be arrested at their house or at their job and that will be taken to the courthouse. Don't believe these people. They are scammers.

Google CashNetUSA scammers, they also use the name acs and they try to make it seem like they ace loan companies, they go by lots of different names for loan companies. And all of these people turn out to be in Indians but very thick accent and very American named. I'm currently being harassed by them as well. Telling me that I took out loans what companies that aren't even real

There's at least 50 different names that they have, they actually use legit names but just change the words a little bit. So you actually think that you're talking to a legit company that you took a loan from. I have a payday loan out with ace, it's an Internet loan company. But I'm currently getting calls from a place claiming to be attorneys for a place called acs. So they just change one letter on that word to make it believable. They told me that I can only pay one way, and that was with a prepaid debit card - which makes no sense. Why wouldn't they want a more secure payment method? Why do they ask for these cards? I was told that these cards cannot be traced. And they will scare you into sending them money.

But please people don't send these people any money. If a legit company would sue you, they would not tell you over the phone or in an Internet email. They would send you a certified letter. And they will tell you that they will not send you paperwork until they receive a payment - which is even more bogus. Trust me when I first got the phone call and email I was freaking out. But then I thought about it I have a loan out with Ace loan company, Not Acs. So I googled them I found out that these people are scamming everyone.

I found this current thread by typing in CashNetUSA scams. So I see not only are they stealing ace name, they are stealing cashnet’s name too. So maybe these legit people at CashNetUSA are not the people taking money out of your bank account. But if people that pretend that they’re CashNetUSA taking the money out. I'm unsure but it’s worth doing a Google. And see the whole list of names a company that they pretend to be.. I am so getting these calls and emails in 2014. And I've read other threads from 2007 when these people were stealing money. Please, please don't give them any of your money. Because you will not get it back..Please look up internet loan scams.

So I needed a quick small loan. I was approved for 300$ and accepted the loan. I made one payment extension on the loan which they require you to do at least 2 business days prior to the repayment due date. That was fine. That information was clearly presented to me. I planned on paying my loan off in full on October 6th which was a Monday. I went online two days before the payment due date to make my payment with a different bank account. I did not intend to use my checking account to repay the loan. How I repay it to them should not matter.

So even two days before the due date I went online to pay only to be informed they already took the liberty of processing my full loan repayment through my checking account!! The account I didn't want to use! So I tried calling on Monday to explain that I wanted to pay my loan in full, that they needed to stop the direct debit from my bank account and accept the money I was trying to give them. They stated that they could not stop the debit NOR could they take a payment since one was already processing!!!

This was totally strange. I would think that a company wants to get its money back and would not care where or how they got it. I was trying to fulfill my agreement by paying them the money back and on time! Yet they made that impossible and refused my money. They instructed me to call back in two days once the payment was done trying to process to make my payment. I asked if I was going to receive a late fee and the rep. said yes! I was furious. I should not be charged a late fee when they are the ones that refused to take my payment especially since they even prevented me from repaying them two days before the payment is due!

I did call back that Wednesday and made my payment. However they were not budging on the late fee. Long story short...and it has been a long story...but through 7 different phone calls, being promised a return call from a supervisor on 4 occasions I have absolutely zero resolve. The people that answer the phones are drones and are instructed to play games with you. They tell you lies about not having managers so that the call doesn't get escalated. They lie about supervisors calling you back. They hang up on you when THEY call you. And on a fundamental moral core are scammers!!!! Refusing to take payment before or on due dates and then punishing the customer with a late fee and collection calls. They seem to think I am just one person and I can't do anything about it. But I will not give in on principle. If they report this to my credit report I will dispute it over and over again if I have to. Be very very weary of this company. Yes they did get me a loan but they scammed me from that point after!!!!! Highly upset and unsatisfied customer.

I am a disabled veteran with an $850 per month income. I had been getting $300 loans from CashNetUSA for over a year. In September 2013, I requested the usual $300 advance where I repaid $335. CashNetUSA informed me that Louisiana passed a law which prevented it from making the $300 loan to me. CashNetUSA said I would have to get a line of credit. Because I needed the money, I opted for the line of credit for $950. My first payment was $470. Fast forward to September 2014. After a year of making monthly payments, CashNetUSA said my balance was $396. I made the final payment to prevent the continued torture.

I added up the total amount that I had paid for the $950 line of credit. To my utter dismay the amount was roughly $3,444.00. I asked CashNetUSA to send me a copy of the Louisiana law which prevented it from making the usual $300 loan to me in September 2013. CashNetUSA has not provided the name of the law. Nor have they provided the requested official accounting for the amount that I paid.

Had I not made the final payment, I would have paid interest rates which added up to almost 400%. Is there a law against making false statements in order to lure a person into a contract? By the way, the Louisiana law that was sponsored by state senator Ben Nevers which would have limited the annual number of loans to 10 out of 12 months did not pass. Nor did Nevers' bill to cap the interest rates on payday loans.

"Since we are members of the BBB and FTC and we do not go off of your credit, you would have to provide proof of income by showing you can make first payment of $310 and it will be returned to you with loan. No problem," in a middle eastern accent. I said, 'How do we do that?' Fax a copy of my check stub what he replies. "Go to QT, or Home Depot, or Safeway, and purchase a power pay Visa card for 4.95 and add the $310 on it." I said "that's impossible, simply all I have is $200 to my name." He paused for 2 mins came back and said "Ok, well send the 200 and the rest we can get tomorrow."

Long story shortened couldn't find that card, had to use a Green Dot money pack... So I send the $200 blindly like an idiot. Couple of mins pass and he said "Ok everything looks good. I need a bank account number to send this to a total of $5,200." So me and my idiot brain gave him my bank account number and he already had my social that he said the last 4 digits to me flawlessly as confirmation. More time passed and he said "Oh looks like we have a problem. Looks like there is black marks on your credit in which we can fix here right now for $345 dollars."

I was mad at that point. Asked for my money back, he said that he couldn't, it's already tied in with my loan and I will get it back when I pay this. I was furious. He said "Calm down, have faith in your Jesus Christ. Go to your bank. I put money in there. Pull it out and send it to me once more on a money pack and all should be good." In a rush I went to my bank, cause I needed all my cash back fast, it was all I had, went straight to the ATM and to my dismay I was able to pull the money out, it was already after my bank had closed.

Reluctantly I send them the cash fast. 30-45 mins pass and Frank paused and said "looks like you heard me wrong it needs to be $346 dollars and I need that right away cause I tried pushing the wrong amount in 4 times and if I do it 5 times I will be locked out." At this time I was so furious it was all I could do from cursing and yelling and throwing my phone. Once again he said "Calm down, have faith in your Jesus Christ. Go to the bank tomorrow before you go to work and then buy another money pack and leave the numbers on my answering machine and in like 5-10 mins of me receiving it, the money will be in your bank."

Well I get up for work early around 4. Most stores are still closed. I decided after work I'll do it, mid day around 11:00, he calls me upset. "We had made agreements, why you not put moneys on card and send it in? I have put a lot of time on your account sir. I could be charging more." I said "hold on I'm at work, I must get off the phone." After work I rush to the bank and try to pull out the $346 from the same ATM and it will only let me pull out $200. I call him and say this is all I got. He said he can make it work. Well I say "if I send this, this is the last I need to send to get my loan and my money back" and Frank agreed.

I send it, he put me on hold for 45 mins plus and said "Ok, I need to send you to Harry ** our insurance rep." I hear buttons push on phone and lo and behold, a man answered "This is Harry" in the exact same voice and accent to the tee as Frank **. He said "Since there has been so many issues with this transaction, my bank Meta bank requests you to purchase insurance on this loan in which you will get back when you receive this loan for only $245.35." I was tapped out, I said I couldn't and "please, please give me my cash back." He said "Unfortunately it's locked in with your loan and other money you have sent in and I cannot return it till you get the loan."

I called my wife, explained all that happened. She borrowed money from her brother and I once again pay that exact amount Requested like an idiot. More time passes with me on hold around an hour this time and he said "All looks good I'm gonna send you to Raymond our bank rep" pushes buttons and wow "Hello, this is Raymond" with the exact identical voice as the last 2 guys. "Well have you paid the $105 for the BBB & FTC fees for the paperwork to be sent yet?" "What? No one has informed me of such fees" "Well I'm sorry, they should have been more thorough in the beginning of loan but once you pay this the loan will be in your bank in 5-10 mins. I give my word. I have 2 kids, I swear on them I too have family. Have faith in your Jesus Christ."

Well my brother in law was sitting right next to me and he wanted his cash back as well so he bought a money pack for the $105 and we send it in... 25 mins passed "Ohh no I'm so sorry to inform you but Meta bank, my bank, not yours, will not allow me to sent the funds since the amount has changed so much from $5,000 without paying a watcher's fee of $270.90 and once that is paid we are all done.

At that point I'm tapped out. My brother in law is broke. I had smoke an entire pack of cigarettes yelling at this guy "give me my money back or I'll call the authorities." He calmly says "I'm doing you a favor other places could charge 400+ Dollars for a watchers fee and I'm only allowed to give you this offer for one hour or you forfeit your loan and your money will go to fees for our time. I hung up, did a reverse look up on the number it was from a place called Cashnet USA 200 W Jackson Suite 1400 Chicago Illinois 60606. Well come to find out they are not the same Cashnet USA that you find when you look it up normally. It's a bogus company I believe.

I tried filing a report over the phone with Chicago PD and they put me on hold till my phone died. I had to go to my bank and change account numbers and now I'm told I need to file with the Attorney General here in TX. I'm so upset about this. Just imagine how many people these scammers have done this to. (773) 796-9711 IL, USA. (312) 473-7526. They call and leave voice mail with these numbers. The calls start early in the morning and continue throughout the day. I have told them constantly that I am not interested in a pay day loan, but they continue to call. I even ask to speak to their supervisor, but when I do so they hang up. This is harassment. They even have gone as far calling and claiming to be a bank representative by the name of David ** working with the fraud department of my bank trying to get me to confirm personal information speaking with a heavy Indian accent.

I received a letter in the mail from them saying I was pre-approved for $800.00. I was curious and researched this company on the internet. 1st of all if you have to purchase something or pay money up front it is not a legitimate loan. Second of all the interest rates are outrageous and if you check with your state interest rate maximums on loans like these, I'd say for SC it is illegal. Do your research and it goes beyond the internet. Take time to find out what the limit is on interest in your own state. Stay away, if you need cash gather your change and go to coin star or sell something on eBay!

A lady named Tamara called my sister and told her I had taken out a loan with them. She proceeded to give my sister all my personal information. My sister called me and told me about her talk with this lady who also said I used my mother as a co-signor on this so-call loan. I returned the call to Tamara and asked her about her conversation with sister and why she had lied to her about taking out a payday loan with my mother as a co-signor. She responded by saying they had called and tried to correspond with me a long time. This so-called loan was done in the year 2007.

I have never contacted Cashnet for any payday loan. She said "well I understand you are retired" and I said "no I am disabled and have been since 2002." She said Cashnet was willing to forego the fees if I paid $402 to them. If I didn't agree to these terms I would be taken into custody by the police and have to stand before the court and be convicted of a fraud case. She also noted I would have to pay their attorney fees totaling $2000. I responded to her by informing her I have never received a loan from them and "you probably got my personal information from another source." I told her to send me the original documentation regarding this loan. I gave her my phone number and address (which I have lived at for 12 years). Not once have I received correspondence or calls from Cashnet. She got very upset when I asked for the documents. She immediately hung up on me and I have heard from her since.

I decided to lodge a complaint against Cashnet with the Arizona Attorney General Office who also referred to a federal agency call Consumer Financial Protection. I was informed by this office that this person/company was trying to scam me. She asked if I paid them any money at all. I told her no and I asked for all original documents and correspondence to be sent to me immediately. I told her I have not heard from Tamara again.

The Consumer Financial Protection Agency took my complaint and referred me to a sample letter they have constructed to stop harassment. She said "email this letter to them and if they try to contact you again tell them they are breaking the law and you will take the necessary legal action against in this case." I sent the email and have had no response, mail, or phone calls anymore. Watch out for these people because they are no better than crooks, they only use the internet to commit their crimes.

They bent over BACKWARDS to help me - spreading out payments more.. no additional charges. I have never been asked to use a GREEN DOT card, that's SCAM being run by thieves!!! I have had NOTHING but amazing service from this company. Remember these loans are to help you get from payday to the next - when you run short or something comes up expectantly - not a "usual" bank lender for THOUSANDS of dollars. The person I spoke with had no problem telling me that he was pressing charges, how much my son owed, etc. When I asked for the list of charges, he put me on hold for a long time. I was there when he came back, and I asked again for the list of charges. He started screaming at me on the phone! Stated it was getting turned over to the Attorney General and hung up on me. I then called the Attorney General's office (I didn't know what else to do). Before I even got the first couple of sentences out of my mouth, the lady said, "It is a scam. Please tell me you didn't give them any money!" She said they get information from payday loan companies (not sure which ones), and that's how they had his phone number, his place of employment, his work phone number, etc. He has since let his employer know in case they call back again. The cash net company called me and said my loan was approved and I needed to go to Walgreens and purchase a green dot pak visa card with the scratch off number and put a hundred dollars in the card and then call them back.

I went to Walgreens and asked for the green dot pak card with the scratch off number and they said I should not give that number to anyone. I called the cashnet company and told them what I was told about not giving anyone the scratch off number but they said it was ok they are authorized to take out the money. CashnetUsa is a legitimate payday loan lender but I received a phone call from a guy who said his name was Danny ** and that I had been approved up to a $5,000 loan but since my credit score was low, they would have to verify with them that I was trustworthy to pay back the loan and call the FTC to tell them that I was taking this loan to raise my credit score, basically me giving permission to the FTC for this company to deal with them. The man asked me what my credit score was because that depended on the amount they would wire to my bank ($900) so that I could go buy a GreenDot MoneyPack and give them the PIN so they could withdraw it back out.

I got suspicious when I googled the number he called from - 347-298-7889 - and it was a cell phone. I asked for his physical address and he tried to change the subject but I insisted on a physical address so he told me that he was with the NY branch, but headquarters are in Illinois, just check the website. So then he asks to ask my bank if they take wire transfers immediately or 1 business day, and when could he wire the $900? He said the MoneyPack thing had to be done within 30 minutes.

I contacted CashNet USA and asked if that was a standard practice of theirs to issue loans and they said NO, that was a 'fraudulent lender' and in no way affiliated with CashNet USA and that I needed to report them to the FTC ASAP. As far as a real payday loan from the legitimate company, CashNet USA, I can't comment. Just be aware that there are scammers pretending to be CashNet. I also ran into almost the same exact situation with a company operating as CashOne. They just wanted $183.00 deposited onto a MoneyPack to prove 'financial worthiness.' If I had money why would I be asking for a loan? I almost fell for that one. I did the MoneyPack thing and kept getting told that I would be on hold for 10-15 minutes while they processed my $1,000 loan that would be deposited within 5 minutes of them verifying the financial worthiness.

On the back of the MoneyPack, it says do not give your PIN to anyone and if anyone asks for it for services up front that it's a scam and Green Dot is not held responsible. Luckily, I had a prepaid card with me so I transferred the $183.00 from the MoneyPack to that card before they could get to it. They got all mad that I did that, that the $183 was just for verifying that I was able to pay the loan and that they were not allowed to take the $183.00 since they didn't have permission to. I would think that me giving them the PIN would give them authorization to transfer it to their own cards. They were irate that I had deposited and withdrew the $183 before they could process the loan and tried to get me to do it again. The checker at Kroger advised me against doing it. I think I would have been $183.00 + $4.95 for the MoneyPack in the hole and no loan would ever be deposited. I will post this again under Cashone. Beware!!!

I applied for a loan online about 2 weeks ago. When the rep called me and said that I would gave to send them a $150 registration fee through Green.Dot, I said, "Forget it". A couple of days ago, I received a call from them and told them that I only needed a $2000 loan. They said that they would deposit $250 in my checking account to verify that it is my existing account. After I receive the money in my account, I must send it back to them using a GreenDot voucher, which I did. End of story. The $2000 has not yet been deposited in my checking account, but now I am receiving threatening phone calls from a CashNet rep who says that the $250 was never received and that if I don't send them them the money, they will proceed with legal action!

Then someone name Samuel called to tell me they had been hacked and that thousand of their customers took a loss and that he would make it 'right', that his PRIMARY focus was to have SATISFIED CUSTOMERS!! He talked a good talk and I decided to give him a chance to redeem himself, and what do you know...it was the same thing, different day.

This company is NOT one you want to EVER work with!! I believe it is called 'bait and hook' and the sooner people know who they are working with, the better. AVOID CASH USA at ALL COSTS!! She said just call in before that date. I called in the day before and the rep told me it was too late - I needed to call in 2 days before. No sooner, no later and that there was no stopping the transaction now. So I thanked her for her time and said this was our 1st and last transaction together and that they lost a customer. She had the audacity to say, "I'm sure someone else will call in by the time we hang up and need our assistance. You’re welcome and enjoy your 4th of July weekend." I have never received a loan or borrowed from this company. I was in a situation where I needed money really bad so I applied for different online loan services. Somehow I got mixed up with this loan service. They called and said I was approved for a loan and asked if I wanted it put into my bank account. Then they said they couldn't and it would be required for me to give them some money to the tune of about 500 dollars. I told them I would not give them a dime of my money. That is the point of getting the loan as I don't have the money. I blocked them on my cell phone from these 2 numbers: 1-909-758-0115 and 1-909-666-4425. But I had made one mistake and gave them my work phone number.

They keep calling and harassing me at work yelling at me and acting like they have a lawyer on the phone and they are going to press charges against me for fraud and whatever else they can dream up. I have told them no, never call me at work ever again and still they persist. I have contacted the local police department and advised them and they said this is a civil matter.

So I have decided to pursue this further. The police informed me of my rights and we do have some resources at our disposal. Contact your attorney general's office. Missouri number is 800-392-8222 and in Kansas it is 800-432-2310. Call the Federal trade commission at 877-382-4357. Also advise the better business bureau @ Bbb.org and of course this agency here consumer affairs. By law, in this country, this is what any bill collector or any other entity may not do on the phone:

    1) Contact you at unreasonable times or places (before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.) unless you agree, or at work if you tell them to not contact your work as your employer disagrees with this. 2) Contact you after you write a letter to the agency telling them to stop. Unless the creditor notifies you he will try to take some specific action. 3) Contact your friends, relatives, employer or others, except to find out where you live or work. 4) Tell your friends that you owe money. 5) Harass you by, for example, threats of harm to you or your reputation, use of profane language or repeated telephone calls. 6) Make any false statement including that you will be arrested or threaten to have money deducted from your paycheck or sue you, unless the collection agency intends to do so and it is legal.

To file a complaint against a debt collector, contact your state or local consumer protection agency, attorney general's office or the Federal Trade Commission.

Several months ago "Federal Processing" and other collectors have called all threatening "warrants issued for arrest for 2 felony counts of fraud on financial institution, check fraud..." Then, asking me if I would like to help her out and pay the debt. A new one called Global United Arbitration called and did the whole scam, only this time I investigated the caller.

A man named Phil ** had just finished filing his LLC in Amherst, NY on 2/20/2014 and ran into me. I have a digital recordings of the message left on my phone which started the violations ticking off. He called 12 times in less than five hours, most of them one minute apart to harass me. I have screen shots of the caller ID to document number and pattern of calls. He threatened my daughter would be arrested Monday and asked me if I "would like to help her out." Then he started demanding my debit or credit card info.

Mr. ** refused to send anything in writing but I would not pay until I saw it in writing. He sent me an email with a settlement offer. I confronted him by pointing out violations and said I was going to report him. He said he was calling the police to accuse me of assault by threat. I have digital recordings of the 2 calls. I reported him to the BBB and got a response back on my complaint from Northern Resolution Group. Yes, one of the 5 sued by the NY A. G.'s office, claiming they bought the debt a few days before Global United Arbitration started calling. Northland group claims to be current creditor, but so does Global United Arbitration. With different amounts owed. Cashnet USA is behind this pulling the strings. They should all go to prison.

I requested a loan and talked to a lender reasons why I needed the loan. They said that it will be in my account the next day. So when I pulled out money from my account I noticed the loan I requested was not there. So I called them to see where's the money they told me I didn't put in a request, but yet they are taking out interest from my account.

On the 31 of January I had asked for a $6,000. I was told to put $350.00 in a one Vanilla prepaid Visa card to show verification of the first month's payment so I did that. Then I was told that I would receive my funds within 5 to 10 mins in my account. Before I even went to check my card I get a call back telling me that my bank account had frozen and that I had to verify some insurance thing just in case I had defaulted on the loan. So they asked me to put another $500.00 dollars in another one vanilla prepaid visa card. What can I do to get my $350.00 dollars back from them? I need help to get money back.

The best piece of legislation, in my opinion, ever written was passed by G.W. Bush in 2004. The Code of Federal Regulations 24:5... statutes regarding domestic neglect/abuse/stalking. It's very broad in scope, especially when it comes to the 'stalking' part. In essence, anyone who causes you stress by threatening, repeating calling from different phone numbers, offering you 'deals' you can't buy your way out of, is guilty of criminal stalking, which carries up to a $250,000.00 bond and 10 years in Federal prison.

What's the difference between a spurned ex-lover threatening you bodily injury and a corporation threatening to foreclose on your bank account? The companies use a 'spoofing' tool (ie., Google Spoof) to mask their caller ID. I routinely use it in my investigating healthcare fraud and domestic violence. Many people won't answer the phone if they see "US Department of Justice" on their caller ID.

Conversely, a company can use it, or a tool like it, to falsely represent themselves. NO representative of the Federal Government will call you directly on behalf of a private company, claiming to support their possible fraudulent/misleading acts or behavior. Anyone can get down on their luck. Half the nation is one paycheck away from missing a car note, electrical bill, etc. These companies prey on those consumers who find themselves backed into a corner.

Best advice? Don't do it. If you're caught in the loop, DOCUMENT every call/message/email etc. What was said, who said it, and when. If possible, record the calls. Recording the calls is legal, so long as one (1) party in the conversation (you) is aware that the call is being recorded. Advise them you are recording the call and that the information will be turned over to the Better Business Bureau and cognizant authorities. Don't expect help from local authorities. Unless they have a clinical psychologist taking your call, they're not equipped to assist you with your stress. They will only advise that it's a 'civil' matter. It's not. Criminal stalking is a serious felony. If you're losing sleep, the calls are affecting your work productivity or family relationships, seek counseling. This will document your stress.

What you can do in the future: Cut your spending back to nothing. Go from premium to basic cable. Shop at discount stores. Hold off on new anything. Call your utility companies and ask about service 'averaging'. Most offer to set your bill at a single monthly rate, based on your previous year's bills. That way, you know exactly how much to budget for every month and won't get hit bay seasonal spikes. Shop for cheaper cell phone service. Monthly plans are far more advantageous than an annual contract you can't get out of without a fee. If you have a land line phone, switch to VOIP. It's only $6.95 per month with unlimited everything. Get all of your bills gradually caught up to zero balance. That way, if you have an unexpected expenditure, you'll have a 30 or even 60 day grace period you can rest on. The bottom line, avoid the scam. If it seems too good to be true, it ALWAYS is. No free lunches...

Cashnetusa is a scam. I got a 2nd call from the real Cashnetusa telling me its a scam. They wanted a Green Dot Money Pak for $120 and give them the number on the back. After I gave my bank account which was not smart on my end they said even if I did not take the loan they would take $100 out of my bank. I am on disability and needed $500. They got me up to $1,500. Don't let this happen to you. Look at the reviews, I need say no more. They need to be reported which I am going to do. Now I must open another account and make calls to the companies that I pay my bills online plus social security and I hope it will not slow down my disability. What a pain in the!!! I am still worried I can't change my account before the day they want the money. There is more to say but I think you get the point. I could not sleep for days. Hope this helps at least one person, I hope more. I wish there was a way to fight back. If there is please let me know.

I borrowed $300. I owe over $700 back when you are not told until after you receive the money. My payments were about $120 every two weeks, $240 a month. I tried to make the first payment but they took out two payments and make my account worse. so I put a stop payment on it. They will not work with me on a payment plan I can afford. I can give them $50 every two weeks or I can give them the $300 I borrowed in one large sum but they don't want that. They demand $247 payments now. I can't do it. You can't work with them. They won't accept anything you offer. I have been spoken to like dirt. I have asked them not to call my job but they call anyway. Twice I have had the people call and say they are federal agents and I am under investigation for check fraud. I have a man scream at me on the phone and say he will call my job and I will lose my job if I do not pay. I had a man tell me I was going to be sent to court and I will be served at work in front of everybody!

Today, 1/14/2014 , I had voicemail at work from an unknown caller saying he is a hired federal agent and he is in the process, I guess, of seizing my tax refund, any accounts I have and my personal possessions. He said I will have to pay either three or five times the amount owed. I have committed check fraud which is a federal offense. The message was like 10 minutes long. I need to know where I can go to stop the harassment. They are calling my job and won't stop. I am going to start putting the $50 a payday on a prepaid card and eventually give them $300 but I am not paying anymore than that. Can anyone assist me? I am unable to send the voicemail. I wish I could.

CashNet USA, IL - In September of 2013, I applied for an online loan. I was approved for $650. I received the $400 that I borrowed in my bank account. The problem is that I only get paid on the 31st and 15th of the month. They refuse to "permanently" change my due dates for repayment of the loan. I have called multiple times in October, November, December and again on yesterday about this problem. They have repeatedly debited my account for payment in between my pay dates. I sent them a copy of a paystub and they only corrected it once in November, then again in December. I have incurred over 4 overdraft fees since I have had the loan because of this problem with them! Then I have to borrow more money from them to offset the overdraft fees on my checking account. I spoke a someone named Mike yesterday and he refused to give me a letter to give to my bank so that my fees can be refunded. He adjusted the date, but it was after they debited my account. In error again! I want my fees back and for this problem to be rectified. Each time I call I am given excuses as to why it is not fixed. They didn't ask me for pay stubs when they approved the loan but keep insisting on them now in order to correct the due date.

Nov 19, 2013 I took out/applied for a loan with CashNetUSA. I was approved for $750.00 loan so I took $700.00 and I've made every payment and on time. Today they sent me don't forget your payment notice and along with it gave me break down of my payment. 1-2-2014 is $130.00 and of that amount $72.30 go to principal and $57.84 go to fee every two weeks. So I asked how much have I paid so far and they told me I paid $559.94 with a balance of $522.90. They told me I have a line of credit of $287.25 and $50.00 of that I did not take out. So according to them, I only paid $237.25 and $322.69 went to fees and by the time i pay this off, it's going to cost me about $1500.00. How in this United States can our government let these kinds of companies get away with. I guess as long someone is getting a cut its okay. How can CashNetUSA say they're helping anyone. I can see paying for $400.00 on $700.00 loan but this is outrageous. I know you cannot really help me but if this helps anyone, I am glad.
