We went through bankruptcy a couple years ago, which is off the record now, but it is still on my mark for credit for a couple more years. So, I needed money to just get my head above water for right now, and found Best Egg to have the biggest amount for my approval for getting a personal loan.

I saw their offer through the Credit Karma app. The process is easy and simple, and it’s been very simple to talk to anybody I talked to. The service is good.

STAY AWAY! We used Best Egg Flex Rent. They have caused a massive financial mess for me and my wife! They didn't withdraw the 2nd monthly payment from our account, which had more than enough money. The deduction was never attempted, according to our bank. We were never notified there was an issue. They are very good about telling you your rent payments are coming due, etc., but not in this case. They never notified us that there was an issue. Our next month's rent comes due, and they tell us on the day it's due, they can't pay the rent because we did not cover the second payment of the prior month! So now we have to pay the full rent and the balance of the second payment from the prior month!

Deceptive credit card company. I applied and was approved for a no annual credit card about three years ago suddenly, this month they had an update to their contract and decided that they were gonna move forward with an annual fee in my case. I had to cancel the credit card, which can definitely affect my credit score but if I initially knew there was an annual fee with this credit card I would’ve never applied for it.

I started with them in March 2025 through appfolio rent payment portal. I paid 2335 for the first payment and 995 that month. Then April it went to 1675 on the first and 1650 on the 15th. Then all of a sudden in May I get an email and text that my payment for May 1 is 2335. I called and said no I was supposed to be on a schedule. They state for two days that they have a system error and that it will be corrected by 5/3 when my rent is due.
