I did a loan with Best Egg to consolidate my debt and they could have been a bit quicker in responding. Other than that, the rep was good.

Best Egg was willing to work with me and it was a lot easier to understand what they were offering. I talked to somebody on the phone and the process was easy as well. However, I wanted to do credit card consolidation and I wasn't sure how to talk to somebody about requesting a list of the credit cards and the payment. I thought that it would have been in my account, when I went to see where all the funds were dispersed, but I couldn't find anything like that. I had a couple that I thought that I had asked them to pay that are not done. I'm not sure if I missed those. I don't think I did, but I need to know and I don't know how to get that information.

Best Egg's rate was better, and their application process was easy and simple. 10 minutes later, they told me I was approved. It went smoothly and the funding was wired to my account in a day. It allowed me to consolidate some bills and I was able to keep things going well.

Everything was pleasant and very favorable with Best Egg. Their rates were good. The turnaround time was good, too. So, I decided to go with them. Application was very simple and everything was online.

Best Egg's ratings were better than those of other companies. As well as the process itself, for it to go into my account and then for the payments to come directly out of my account and for me to be able to see it online. I was also impressed that I could change my payment dates. I like the idea that I can do it 'cause I get paid twice a month. I like the idea that it can come out of my second check versus my rent check. It allows me to budget better. I also like the idea of doing it online. The other bonus is I could pay extra if I wanted to.

I used Best Egg before and it went well. So when they sent me a preapproval, I thought that was great and allowed it. My credit score wasn't perfect, but they knew that. They had me go through the prompts, I allowed them to pull me credit, damaging my credit score. Waiting for the funds, they asked me to call them about my bank. I answered 2 questions and within 30 seconds, they sent a denial letter. I had my hopes up and everything. Do NOT accept any preapproval from them as they damage your credit, get your hopes up and then tell you NO. I would not recommend them.
