I liked my previous experience with Amerisave and their low rates. I went with their 20 years fixed loan program for an investment. I was using their online system and the process took about four weeks. The reps were helpful and were able to find good options. There was good communication with Victoria and Matt and the rate was very competitive. However, after I closed, I started to receive a lot of spam that originated from AmeriSave advertising additional deals. That's definitely not needed and that didn't look very professional. They sent lots of mail to my addresses and all of them were scary. Everything was awesome until then.

I did a Google search for lenders and AmeriSave was one of the ones that came up and also they weren’t one of the ones that pressured me to start the paperwork right away. It was easy obtaining a loan from them. They gave me the stuff that I needed to fill up. Anytime I had to fill in anything, they’ll either give me a call or shoot me an email telling me I had more documents that I needed to sign and fill up. It was painless and relatively fast. It took a month and I have no complaints about how they did it. They did a good job. The first rep I spoke with walked me through the whole process as easy as it can be. He would even answer my calls on the weekend when I had a question. The rate of the loan was a little bit high but that comes with the territory with my score. All the people from AmeriSave were good and everybody I had contact with was very professional and fast.

I was with Bank of America and I was thinking of refinancing. I called LendingTree and they put my information, which went out to different entities. The first person to contact me was a gentleman by the name of Benjamin from AmeriSave. We just started talking and he was very pleasant, professional, awesome and knowledgeable. He was also very patient. He sat with me on the phone while I was on my computer at home and he walked me through the entire process. It was pages and pages of online application and it was very confusing. It was like Chinese.

Jordan, the second gentleman who helped me was also awesome and professional. He and Benjamin were both courteous, genuine and wonderful. From the time that I spoke to the first person until the time it was approved, it took under a month. I was happy with it because we went step by step and everything was good. Moreover, the rates I ended up getting was wonderful. Everything that they said was as we talked about all the way throughout. I'd give friends the number that I have and tell them to call AmeriSave.

I wanted to refinance my home. I went to LendingTree and I compared the rates. AmeriSave had the better rate. The online application process of AmeriSave was good and, together with the underwriting process, took three weeks to complete. Crystal and Russell handled my loan and they were both great. At one point, I wanted to pay for my first payment online but I wasn’t aware that you can do that. I tried calling the number that was in the letter but I never received a phone call back. It wasn’t until somebody called me that I found out that you can make payments online, and that was a little bit annoying. But they were fast and they had a good rate.

We were looking to refinance. It was a long process of obtaining my mortgage. We searched for the best rate and talked to a couple of different people, and from the quotes that we got, we made a decision on which mortgage we wanted to go with. We have gotten a quote from AmeriSave Mortgage before and their customer service seemed to be good. The application and underwriting process took about four weeks, and it was done pretty quickly. The rates and the terms of the mortgage were great and we were very satisfied. I would tell my friends to check AmeriSave out, get a quote, and see what they think, and compare them to the other quote that they got.

Purchasing a house is stressful, but AmeriSave made it very easy for me. While I was looking for a house and found one, I had to quickly find a mortgage lender. I shopped around for a company that I thought would give me the best deal and I saw that AmeriSave was very competitive with their rate. Even the other lenders, they couldn’t touch what AmeriSave could do for me. I appreciated that they were able to give me a good rate as well as my interest rate. When you work hard and your credit is good and you work your way up to a certain status, that is a good thing that AmeriSave will appreciate back too. I also thought that at the time, I was lucky to lock into a very good rate because now, we’re in a vulnerable market where rates are going up and down.

Getting the loan was a very smooth process with them. It was done in a very timely manner so I was happy with that. Also, the people from AmeriSave were very efficient with information. If there was any question I had, they were always very clear and easy to work with. They were very polite and respectful, and have a really great attitude too. I also felt very comfortable working with their rep who was very courteous and professional. He always got back to me in a timely manner and that was very important to me. He did his job very well. I'd tell my friends that they will be in good hands with AmeriSave as they work closely with you. I purchased my home in March and it was a good experience with them.

I’m very computer literate and it’s an easy flow with AmeriSave. I don’t have to go anywhere since I can do it all online. I’ve done the application process with them four times now and it's simple. However, I don’t recommend it for somebody that’s not computer literate. The reps at AmeriSave were very helpful. I didn't have to do too much unless I made a mistake, and they told me that they would fix it. The rate and terms of the mortgage that I received can’t be beaten by anybody. Plus I get a $500 bonus every time I use them.

I was looking to refinance and AmeriSave has the best rate. Paul was my loan officer and I was impressed by his professionalism and willingness to walk me through and provide guidance. It was very easy to reach out and communicate with Paul. I went with a 30-year fixed program and the online application process was very convenient, user-friendly, and easy to use. I find having to sign papers, getting the credit approved, and locking in my rate before any discussion occurred somewhat annoying. Also, I'm not a big fan of getting notified a week or two after the loan was funded that they've already sold it off but I assumed it would happen and I understand these are all part of the business. And with the rates and terms of the mortgage I received, I couldn't find a better one. I would recommend AmeriSave.

We were debating on whether we’re going to sell our house or stay in the house and then we were going to stay with the refinance. We ended to refinance with AmeriSave. The process with them was simple and it went smooth. They called and we talked for a bit and then we decided to go with them. The process, from beginning to end, took a couple of weeks. It was quick, which was one of the reasons that I was glad we went with them rather than our bank. The process is six to eight weeks through the bank, compared with two weeks with them. So it was way easier. I dealt with Brandon, the loan officer, and then I worked with a gal towards the end. They were responsive and it wasn’t like a pressure self to use them.

I spoke with Brandon opting on to the process. They were kind of an online service but they had a local office here in Denver so it was easy to get a hold of him. And anytime I would email he would get back with me within the day. I own my business so I’m really busy. Thankfully he got back to me quickly so I could get things taken care of as soon as they happened. He did a great job and it worked really well. I'm very pleased with the whole process. It was painless and it was pretty cut and dry. I was happy with the process and it was a good experience.

We uploaded them right on to the internet, and then we signed it electronically and it all happened very quickly. It took less than a week to finalize. Moreover, the loan agents that were assigned to our account were great. They wanted us to be able to get it done without any hassle and they did their best to make that happen. In addition to that, Amerisave got a good rate and good terms to lower the mortgage. We were saving money. Overall, I had a fabulous experience and I totally recommend it.

Their responsiveness, instruction, help, and guidance were very good as well. The only thing that was a pain on the back was dealing with the underwriter and some activities in my bank account that was superfluous to the discussion when there was more than five times the amount of money in it. There was a transaction that occurred that they wouldn't let go of so it delayed the process unnecessarily.

We have a 15-year refinancing with Amerisave Mortgage. Compared to other companies, they had better rates. But what caught our attention, more than anything, was I was able to access my application at any time. I could scan and upload all my documents to my account. And it was like I was communicating with them at any time of the day. The process was very quick which took 11 days.

Allen and Michael were the two persons who I dealt with and they did a great job. They were very knowledgeable. Allen called me even though he has a family. He went out of his way when we needed to get informed of the loan process and for us to understand certain things. I put him on speaker and we were getting a little meeting. Any question that we threw at him, he was able to come back and give us an answer. He literally explained in detail the process and you couldn’t go wrong. If I had more questions, I would just shoot him an email and whenever he got it and he had the moment to answer back, he did. That was how accurate they were.

The stress that I had in trying to get information from other lenders went from high to none. It was like I was doing my own loan. When I started looking for a loan, it was like Friday then Saturday will come around and then Sunday. And these people would not call me and I couldn’t lock a rate. So, I went with Amerisave. Amerisave went through the whole process. We were searching the market and watching the interest every day because it was still volatile. They explained that if I felt that I have found what I wanted, I could lock it and that was what we did. I have nothing to complain about.

Amerisave is definitely the company that I’m sending all my family members. Four or five different members of my family were looking to refinance. And I told them to look nowhere else and go to Amerisave. The experience I had was awesome. It was a great process that they have going on. A lot of lenders should do that because they are competing for rates. But obviously, if they are out on a Sunday with their families and they don’t think that it is important or they don't want to waste any time thinking that someone is not going to lock a rate with them, they're wrong. Amerisave, on the other hand, went out their way. It was Saturday and Sunday and they would answer. They are the people you want to work with.

We were refinancing an investment property and we started by searching online for a few offers. We went to Bank of America because we had just purchased a home and done a mortgage through them. We also went to Unionbank because they currently hold the mortgage that we were refinancing. And then we were contacted by Jason of AmeriSave and he told us they would be able to give us the best deal. They said they would pay $1000 if we found someone who could do better. We were contacted by another company whose representative was also named Jason. It was on a Thursday and we were moving forward. And by the following Wednesday, we had offers and all the information from Jason in AmeriSave that we were able to share with B of A and the other mortgage lenders.

We told Jason upfront that we were gonna be sharing the information because we wanted to see if he really could make us the best offer. The other banks said it was a good offer and they made counteroffers. Jason adjusted his and he was still able to be the best. Once we decided it looks good, we clarified that we were actually walking in a rate for a program so that we could still move a little bit. He explained that if we went, for example, with the 30-year fixed, then there'd be a range of options so we could do a 4.75% and a 4.5% depending on what the information was that we had at that day so we still had a little bit of flexibility. We went ahead and locked in the rate that we thought was gonna work for us. We had just done a purchase so we had a lot of our documentation, and we told them we'd be an easy client. We were uploading everything as quickly as possible.

We had one minor issue with some documents not uploading correctly into the website but Jason helped us. We called them and he helped us and walked us through that. It was just a button not labeled very clearly. After that, it was pretty straightforward. Their team got it done super fast and it was done in less than 30 days. We were definitely happy. We went with 4.875% and we knew that rates were gonna go up and ours was adjustable that had been changing for about seven years at that point, so it would have gone up to 5% or higher at the end of September when it changed again. My overall experience was good and I would definitely recommend them. AmeriSave is a reputable online company. They provide the information and they're supportive but they're not gonna oversell it.

I went with an 80-20 loan with AmeriSave. They did a good job and I have no complaints about it. I did the application. They took most of the information over the phone so that was nice. They had a representative that worked with us all throughout the process so we were very happy. However, everything took us a little longer because we ran into a hitch. That was probably about three weeks. The sellers were not able to get us a road maintenance agreement so we had to work around that. But AmeriSave was good to work with and we worked through the situation with them. We’re happy with it.

We had that person I originally talked to and he helped us with getting the process started. We also worked with another loan specialist, and then a closing specialist. There were three people we worked with and all of them were very professional and we were very satisfied with the way that they did our business. They called us and they’re very receptive. We emailed them and they always were quick to return our emails and our phone calls. They were on our side through the process so it worked out well.

I worked with another company and AmeriSave not only had a good talk but they had a good product as well. That was what we were looking for. They also had that to back up the good talk that they had. Also, we ended up receiving a very fair rate. And the time we actually jumped in was the time where rates were going up so we were glad to get in there before the rates went up too much and we felt that was a competitive rate. AmeriSave is a good company to deal with and I’d recommend them to others.

They were much better and straightforward. The loan process went really well and only took about two weeks. I talked to a guy first and then Rebecca, the one who handled my questions, and they were both great. The appraiser came in a day and everything went great. They gave me $3,375 which was really good but the problem was they had like $6,400 in settlement costs. And they said they ran some software that said that that was too much. I wouldn’t recoup my extra fees in time.

I realized after looking at the links that the government actually says, “No. You can’t charge them that much.” So companies lower their settlement costs and raise their fee. But AmeriSave didn’t do that. I only got close to $3,600 but at least it was honest the whole way through. Settling costs weren’t small. They were still $4,400 when you count everything together, but at least I didn’t get any runaround. The only thing I would have liked was an even lower settlement cost. I did a lot of shopping and comparison among different lenders including my local bank for even lower settlement costs and that was about the best I could do.

I enjoyed working with the two gentlemen from AmeriSave and it was very professional. They were very nice, very polite and offered me a good deal. They were also very easy to work with. They knew what to do and I had a good time. Whatever they asked me, I got everything right away. It was a very good communication and everything was right in plain English so that I could understand. But so far, I don’t have a payment book. I wanted to do online payments, but I don’t have any requisites. Also, if I could get a lower rate, it would be great, but this rate was only available at this time. But other than that, AmeriSave did a great job and I was very happy with them. I had very positive experience and I don't regret a bit that I did this.

I did a refinance with AmeriSave considering the lower rate and supposed smooth process. The application was easy but the process got complicated and more complicated. I followed through but I was very close to not doing so because every other minute they needed a different piece of documentation. They should have been honest upfront that there’s going to be a lot of work involved with it and not advertise that it’s going to be the easiest thing in the world; or they could do away with some of the documentation and make the process easier. Also they need to update their website where they do the process through. I was able open it in some systems and then when I click something, it disappeared. So, in the end, the guy just started emailing me the documentation as opposed to using their website. Still, everybody I dealt with was friendly and easy to work with. The rate and terms I got were good as well.

However, since they wanna send a bunch of stuff through email, they should let me know that first because I'm not a person that messes with my email. I'd rather have a phone call than an email because I don't check my emails. A lot of my email from them went into junk and so I had a terrible time finding it. I also thought the rates were a little high, but they were the same as the other person I was dealing with before, so it was fine.

I was with Wells Fargo and their rates were high. We called them first and they felt like they were rushing things too much. We googled online and I remember seeing TV ads on Lending Tree. I put my name in there and then had a dozen calls. AmeriSave was the kindest and they were patient. They made sure that every one of our questions was answered. They weren’t rushing through anything. I checked out a couple of the other ones and I felt rushed. They also weren’t trying to look out for me. And as far as rates and the years, it seemed like they were looking out for them more than us. But Amerisave won overall.

I went with a 15-year HARP loan with AmeriSave. It was the first refinance we’ve ever done. The online process was really nice. I’ve looked at what the other ones had and they were not as good. It was nice that AmeriSave could do everything through PDF online and sign online. The application and underwriting process took only a few days. I worked with Kelly and he made sure that everything was in our best interest and not his. Even when he went home, he keeps an eye on his email. I actually emailed him after hours and he responded. He called me back in his own time which was pretty cool. AmeriSave's rate and the terms of the mortgage were good. Nobody could beat them.

The online application process was really good and streamlined. The dashboard was really easy to use. It figured out what I needed and what they needed. It was a good platform. I was on top of everything and gave all the information quickly. Within a week we were almost done with the process of getting the escrow. I went with a cash-out refinance. It was a 30-year fixed standard loan and their rates were competitive.

I had a really good interaction with everybody that I dealt with, whether it was via email or phone call. They were responsive. They were in a different time zone, so if they didn’t get back to me in the afternoon or if I was doing something in the afternoon, it won't be until the next morning before I even looked at my email. However, after I started the process, I still received another email or two from Amerisave trying to get me to apply for a loan. Nevertheless, I would tell others to give AmeriSave a shot.

AmeriSave Mortgage's terms were extremely reasonable. I had read the negative reviews that they had online but they offered me the lowest rate that didn't exist at that time. With everywhere else I had to buy down points but I didn't have to do that with AmeriSave. My loan origination person was really great, really accommodating, very good on the communication part and he was awesome too. Everyone there really treated me with respect.

However, they wanna sit down and look at all this money that I had in my account for down payment purposes too much. That part was extremely excruciatingly annoying. Also, communication wasn't clear. They said that I needed to have $7,700 for down payment and then it was $9,800 I had to have. I felt like it was a really jerking around process. I tried to plan time to move and take off from work for a week to find out two days before closing that they didn't have all the information down or whatever that they needed. And then, we close seven days late. It wasn't really a precise process. Also, I feel like you're talking to two or three people there at the same time. It seemed like one person didn't know the other person's doing. It was too confusing.

It sounds like it's a leadership issue from above. And the way that they processed items, it seemed that there wasn't any clear set of systems, processes and procedures. If they could just streamline the whole process and be more accurate with what they need as down payment. But, the one thing I do like about them is what they advertise to me is what they delivered. It was a painful process but at the end of the day, the payment is what they said it would be, which is way better than any of their competitors. I will I absolutely do business with them again. It was late, but I got what I wanted and that's what's important when you're buying a house.

AmeriSave's online application process was simple, extremely thorough and helpful to walk through. It also took only 15 to 20 minutes to complete. We've moved to eight different houses and this is the first time I've refinanced but it was the smoothest mortgage finance experience I've ever had. I wanted to pay as little as possible or not pay at all in closing and they had some of the best offers in that regard. I knew rates were going to be going up and I wanted to get in before that actually hurt, and their rates were simply competitive combined with the offset of the closing cost. That's why I chose them.

AmeriSave constantly updated me on what the process was, what additional data was needed from me, and were extremely responsive. Like on Sunday afternoons, they would email me back, so there was no date or time where they didn't get back to me. They were great and I felt completely comfortable working with them.

I started on the first of January and I closed by February 4 or 5. The Amerisave Mortgage lending processor was helpful and knowledgeable and she explained the advantage and the disadvantage. The rate and terms of the mortgage are a bit high, but it’s not bad because when I compared to the advantage of the carrier, it’s not too much higher. The interest is going down, so that way, I’m benefited.

Ever since the economy crash, my husband and I have been working to pay the mortgage and save money. We contacted a referral company who gave us the names of three mortgagors, including Amerisave. In the first conversation with the loan officer, my husband said we have only six months of cash reserves, and asked what their policy was. The loan officer didn't answer his question, but pressured us to get all the necessary paperwork to him quickly, which we did. After reviewing the documents and checking our credit scores, my husband was told by the loan officer that we were basically pre-approved for a "jumbo" loan at 4.5%; all we needed was an appraisal to prove that we have enough equity in our home. We paid the $775 appraisal fee that they required, and the appraiser was diligent about showing up on Wednesday, March 28, at the appointed time.

Today, the loan officer that my husband has been communicating with said that in order to qualify for the loan, we'd need nine months of cash reserves. We have six months of cash reserves that we've saved. When my husband asked why we weren't notified about the requirement of cash reserves, the loan officer said he didn't know about the requirement. What? He didn't know? Under the circumstances, we believe that Amerisave should refund the appraisal fee that we paid. We believe it's fraudulent misrepresentation not to give loan applicants all of the requirements, in writing, BEFORE engaging in the loan application process. My husband has contacted one of the other companies referred to us, and was told immediately that they require six months of cash reserves in order to proceed with the loan application process.

That was something that anybody can look at and it wasn’t a question of what was going on or what was included or not. I didn’t have to wait to really find out what I was looking at.

From that point on when we locked it in, it was pretty straightforward. The communication was seamless. Also, I liked that the document exchange has been very fluid. I worked with David and then a gentleman named Glen. They were willing to listen and they were accessible. Especially when as a buyer, you're eager to get certain things. And when you have somebody making you comfortable or telling you how it is, it just makes things so much easier. It's almost like a trust. The whole process took about three weeks.

The rate was fair, but because it's an investment home there's a rate floor that I couldn't go below Ohio. And so, if they'd say it's 5.3, I would have to pay the points to stay at 5.3. But if I want a 5.5 or a 6 paying zero point, that was not available to me. As an investor, sometimes you don't wanna take so much out-of-pocket up front. So a 6 rate would be just as good as a 5.5 for me. But that wasn’t available to me. Even so, I would recommend them. They've been an example to me like a model for a lender.

They just irritated me and I was very happy to turn them down. I refinanced and I wanted to get a little equity out of it and pay off a couple of bills. I rate shopped and compared the closing cost and felt that James and Haley would be the best people to process my requirements. Haley was really on top of things. If I had a question about something, I submitted it online and I got an answer back, usually via email or through the online process. James was able to initially spark my interest in AmeriSave based on programs that he had available. Moreover, I was able to choose one that worked best for me as far as mortgage points and application fees.

I took a 15-year fixed loan with the same interest rate as I had before, just a larger loan amount. The online application process was straightforward. They got all my listing documentation together and I paid a fee to have a new appraisal done and a credit report. I provided all the required documentation, addressed all the questions truthfully, signed the application and had it submitted. I then had the appraiser come out to the property and had them do what they do. I provided Amerisave Mortgage with any current approvals that I had access to for resolves and actives and then waited for the appraisal to come back. Then I continued to provide any explanations as required by the processing department. Finally, I waited for everything to get finalized and approved, as well as set up my closing date once available. The whole process took 40 days at most. I thought that Amerisave Mortgage was really good.

So they asked the appraisal company to put that in. Three days later, the appraisal company sent back another appraisal, which for no reason, decreased my house value by $40,000. I viewed the appraisal and I noticed that they compared my house to another property in another area. Of course, that one would cost much less than my house because there are only 81 houses on the lake and my house is one of them.

I told the guy who was helping me what happened and that it wasn't right that they let the appraisers come and do whatever they wanted to do. But he just said that everything was okay because I qualified for the loan. While I did qualify, eventually, I had to pay more because of that appraisal and I was not happy with that. As a customer, I should have been informed about something like that so I could dispute it. But nobody told me about it until it was too late. Then, when I wanted to dispute it, I was told that I didn't have the time to do it and that the locking period ended.

I got on the internet and searched and I called Moneytree -- they take on all the lending companies and then you fill out a form of what you want to do and then they find the best lender for you. I was really happy with everything at Amerisave Mortgage and everything else went smoothly except for the time. I was applying for a refinance and I did what they asked me to do. The application and underwriting process took a month and a couple of days, and the timeline was fine with me because I really was not in a big hurry for it.

The customer service agents at AmeriSave were all good. The gentleman I spoke to was patient with me because it was the first time I ever did it and I was stupid about things. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them, so that was good. He was easy to get ahold of, too. When I left a message, within 10 or 15 to 30 minutes, he called right back. They were nice and friendly and I read some things about them on the internet that were hard to believe, but the way that the individual took care of me was very professional.

I called up and the gentleman I spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful. And the information he was giving me seemed more realistic and more accurate than some of the stuff that I was being promised by a couple of the other groups.

The application and underwriting was streamlined so it quick and straightforward. It took 2 weeks tops. The rep was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Anytime I sent him an email he responded pretty quickly or in fairly short order. And something that impressed me was I think I only went to voicemail once. He was always at his desk and ready to help out. He was on his game and I would definitely recommend AmeriSave.

They promised me that if I get something lower than what they offered me, they would pay me some money. When I looked around, I couldn't find anything lower. The rate I received from them was excellent. A guy called me, asked me a few questions and they created a portal. The process was all online then I went through some downloading. The guy walked me through everything. Each time I had a question he would always refer me to the online portal which was very easy to navigate.

I’ve had excellent interactions with their customer service representatives. They were very prompt to respond and they would still respond even on a weekend which was good. Everything went as quick as we wanted and overall we were satisfied. It has been a positive experience and if I ever want to do a mortgage again it's going to be AmeriSave.

AmeriSave Mortgage has very good rates. In fact, they give a better rate than my credit union lender. Five years back, I've done refinance with them three times prior to this. I liked the way they do their process. It was very customer-friendly and they were easy to follow up. Most of the things I did was through online. I had to enter my details. Then, I had to select a particular mortgage option and they had to log the rate. They would then ask me to upload the important documents and other paperwork. Two weeks later, they came back for the underwriting. And then from that point, it was basically up to me and them to decide the closing date. Throughout the process, one customer service person called to get some feedback. Overall, I am pleased with AmeriSave Mortgage.

The process of refinancing my mortgage was easy and seamless. The representatives were prompt and helpful too. They gave the information I needed. However, they had a couple of big mistakes. One was the amount of money that I was supposed to bring to the closing. I was told one amount and then the paper had a different amount. The notary was with us and she had noticed that. We checked it out and she said the paperwork was wrong. I had that out of a bank check so the only check I had was the one for the amount I was told.

And then two days later, I got a call from AmeriSave and they said there was a mistake. First of all, we didn’t owe them money. They owed us money. Instead of owing $600, they were going to give me $900 and they sent me a check for that. And then shortly after, they’ve miscalculated the escrow amounts and they asked me to go and pay my taxes. Still, the rates were fine. I told them what I was looking for and that was what they were able to give. All in all, they were a very good group of people to deal with. I would recommend AmeriSave Mortgage.

We were in contact for a few weeks. I took a while to decide on them because I went through about 10 other lenders to look to see what was there and what was the cost of things but in the end, I went with them. I put in the application for a 15-year fixed refi and their response was like a pre-approval. Then, once I’d submitted the five points of documentation for the application, they approved me right away. We got the appraisal really quickly with that, too.

They had an online platform to get and receive files and things and that worked out well. It was very handy. They were also very responsive and very transparent. I was talking to them and also talking to the processor, and they were very quick to answer my emails. Their price was also great. Rates were starting to go up, so I’m glad I did it. The process, from first talking to them to having the refi closed, took a month. Everything worked out well. I’d recommend them.

At that time, I had a lot of housing projects that I wanted to do. Then, I had a credit card that I wanted to pay off. These are the reasons I wanted to get a mortgage. Before I was able to obtain the mortgage, I had to get some documentation as far as employment history. I provided my address history and credit score. Then, I had a slight gap in employment history so I had to send over an explanation for that. But once that got taken care of, it was just a matter of going through the approval and everything went smoothly. It went a lot faster than I was thinking it would.

The second gentleman who helped me was fantastic too. His name was Matthew and he was able to walk me through sort of the steps of the fees and everything that was added and why they were added. He was very responsive to any questions I had about the contract. He also walked through parts of the contract with me. The process started in early February. And then, it was paid out by the end of February so it took less than a month. However, we had an issue. One of my old jobs was very slow to respond with the employment and salary verification information they needed. So Matthew kept calling and kept staying on them and then kept me up to speed with what was going on.

We've been thinking about trying to get some bills paid down so we went ahead and started looking around. We ended up looking at Lending Tree first but didn't like their numbers then I looked up AmeriSave and happened to like their numbers. We started the application process online. It was simple and there wasn't a bunch of extra paperwork to deal with. They got right down to what they needed and what was important and asked for some very specific information to do with the VA Loan. We checked off all the boxes and sent them the required documents. They showed and talked to us some numbers on what our debt was compared to what they needed to do. It seemed to work out pretty well and when they were done, they realized that they could give us a really good loan, so we agreed.

The rep that I spoke with was very nice. My husband was first concerned about the loan being sold to somebody else but the rep was pretty honest about it. He said that almost all of them get sold to somebody else. We got a fixed loan from them. We went ahead and paid a little extra money and bought some lower points. We wanted to make sure that not only did we get a good loan with Amerisave but we got the lowest numbers Amerisave could give us as well.

We just got Wells Fargo took our loan and we're happy. We've been working with them for 20 years. When the numbers came in at the very end, the payment was even less than what everyone quoted which was way better than Lending Tree by almost a $100. If a friend of mine asks me about AmeriSave, I will tell that they were easy, honest and pretty much the way to go. I was surprised that they were relatively fast so it put less stress on us.

AmeriSave Mortgage was very transparent, responsive and easy to work with. I talked to my friend who works there. He walked me through what I was looking for since I just purchased an investment home and told me that they are a good fit. He connected me with a loan originator whose name is Gordon and he answered all my questions. He figured out which loan and rate made the most sense and helped me lock it in, and then he turned it over to loan processing. He also went above and beyond by finding some additional discount for me.

And then, Bob at loan processing was really extremely experienced and made note that every time I uploaded documents, they hardly ever came back and asked for formats or clarifications. They always took the formats and screenshots I was able to provide, and it always seemed to work for them, so I appreciated that as well. He was available via phone and email and he was responsive on both. He never included anyone else. It was always him. That was nice because that has been a problem in previous mortgage processes, and I’ve had other ones where they wanted to dig in every little detail and they couldn’t figure out where a certain money came from and I had to pull tons and tons of documentation. I didn’t have that this time, so I felt like it was one of the easier ones I’ve been through. Mortgages move fast, and someone that takes a while to get back to you can really hurt, especially with rates changing all the time.

The rates were higher just because they were going up. But I felt it was competitive based on what I found in other places and I was happy with the way they presented. Additionally, I found their format easy to read, of how it was broke down, and it was consistent with at closing. It was exactly what it was when I locked it in. While I wish it was a 2.8 rate, I know it's out of their control since the market was just not at that point when I locked it in. It took three and a half weeks to get the 30-year fixed loan. It moved quickly with no issues. Everything worked out. I’ll use AmeriSave Mortgage in the future.

Quicken is easier to fill out the forms, but Amerisave came back and they were very professional about it. Customer service interactions were done thru online, on the phones and over emails. Johan and Bob, who were the underwriters, were both great.

The easy part was getting qualified and getting the rate selected and walk in. The hard part was providing all the supplemental documentation before the operation that they can be solved on my own, just different stuff that had to come up. We were doing housework and we took a line of credit. At that time, the interest rate was very low, and now that we're done with the home, we decided to combine everything. The line of credit will not be eligible for the tax incentive, so it was just good timing. The person I dealt with from AmeriSave Mortgage was responsive. The fees were reasonable as well. While it wasn’t the cheapest, it wasn’t the most expensive either. They’re also willing to communicate via email because I don’t sit at home. I'm actually working, and the emails were best and we got the ball rolling very quickly after I decided they're the company I would go with.

Once I commited to being with them, their representative asked me to send my homeowner's insurance and that started the process. Then we went online to lock the fee so there was online documentation. It was all electronic signatures where my husband and I initialed. Their representative was on the phone with us and we’re on a laptop, and they rep would go page by page and review all the documents for locking in the loan. The biggest disappointment, however, and the reason I’ll never, ever recommend this company to anyone is that although the fee was locked, the cost associated wasn’t. How did that happen, I don’t know because every other lender has told me that it's impossible.

Also, the AmeriSave person I was dealing with, as nice as he was, said it was human error and it was the only time he ever failed to recheck that the fee part was not locked in and it didn’t happen. That was the time when the stock market was going up and down by 800,000 points so I have this rate but instead of the $317, they’re telling me that same one is costing me $2,800. I was beyond livid. And because of the environment that it was in, what I had to do is take the day off and start this whole process again from the start, like logging onto Lending Tree, since the rates started going up.

In the meantime, my credit was being dinged because they cannot give me a rate without checking my credit. And the thing is, I saw it. I have a snapshot of it online. Once you start the process, you could log in and it tells you how your loan is progressing and what documents are needed and the status of each document. Is it being reviewed and was it approved? The system is good so I don’t understand how $317 turned to $3,000. I also emailed the representative from AmeriSave. I asked where the charges came from and how they’re going to get paid. He insisted that he's been trying to get hold of me for days but it’s going straight to voicemail. I did not get his voicemail. And then I asked for the next rate. The rate that I had was costing way too much all of a sudden, even though I agreed and we “locked in”, which means for the rest of my life will mean nothing to me now.

They told me there's this other rate and it's a little higher. The fees were less and then they were going to give me a lender credit. Towards the end, it was very, very, stressful. While their online system is very intuitive and it brings peace of mind where you can see progress and initiate the resolution of issues or documents that you could submit to keep the process going, but had I known that this was going to happen, I would’ve gone with my second, third, or fourth person. And since they can't make this right, I officially withdrew, but they wouldn't let me. Overall, regardless of the good customer service, the bottom line is that it cost me. As a company, they should have made things right.

I needed to buy a house. I searched out about five different lenders and AmeriSave Mortgage had the best rate by about a half a point. I got 3.75% over 30 years. Even with QuickBooks, their Quicken Loans were half a point higher. Everyone out there was at 4.25% and everyone else, like Wells Fargo and BB&T, was at 4.5 or so at that time that I got the loan. So AmeriSave is extremely competitive on their rate and terms.

AmeriSave's lending process was fairly seamless and we got a VA loan for a new home. We just sent in some VA forms and the mortgage process was quick. It took around 40 days but half of that time was waiting on another bank. It was a short sell that I purchased and the other bank was the holdup as they had a previous sell. This loan with AmeriSave is the fourth home loan that I've gone through. Two of which were with Wells Fargo and the third was with BB&T. They were all a pain. But AmeriSave made the process fairly easy.

They were very precise and professional. And they seemed to know what they were doing. I only had to go on the phone with them a small handful of times. The rest of it was through email. The reps have been doing great, and they did fantastic. However, the appraiser that AmeriSave hired was from Athens, Tennessee and the home I purchased was in Knoxville. And the appraiser used comps that were on the separate side of Nashville that wasn’t even relevant. But the choice of the appraiser was my only complaint.

Amerisave has the lowest interest rates. Their online application was simple and easy but they took a while to get some of the information. Some of the documents got a little personal because I'm divorced and they wanted all documents. Still, I gave them what I could. The application and underwriting process lasted roughly two weeks. I went with their 15-year fixed loan program.

I was also able to interact with their representative. Hunter was the main guy but I also talked to another guy. They were straightforward and if they wanted any information, they emailed me the information needed. I gathered them, scanned and it was easy to send back to them in a doc file. I was honest as I could be back to the rep. Everything went well. If I had any questions, he emailed me and we talked on the phone as well on different items. It didn’t take long for him to get a hold of me. Normally, after working hours is when I'd come in and read my emails.

Also, the rate that Amerisave gave me was a lot lower than my local bank or where my mortgage was being serviced. It was savings on my part and I consolidated some too. It helped a lot. I've already put the word out. So, I have family members who are looking to do the same thing and I've given them the phone numbers and information of the guys that I've dealt with.

I had a good experience with AmeriSave Mortgage. There was one representative I worked with. His name was Alan and he was easy to work with. He's also a gentleman and was very responsive. I had called him before but then, I backed out on the application. Then this year, I decided the time is right and the equity is right so I called him back again because I like him well enough that I thought I could trust him. The online application process was complicated though. You have so many things to approve and sign electronically. The computer work is what it is and sending them copies of everything they want was deep. In fact, I had a back and forth on the telephone with Alan and then emailing him.

While everything worked out well, One problem is that I locked on the interest rate prematurely. Alan should have cautioned me on that because interest rates went back down again after I locked. Other than that, the processor did a thorough job. I would try to skimp on some of the papers that she wanted, like the tax papers and bank records but she wouldn't let me. She wanted every page. I had a hard time scanning everything but I got it done, emailed it to her, and she accepted it.

We were ready to buy a home and we were referred to AmeriSave from a third party. When we originally called AmeriSave we were just going to pre-qualify but then the gentleman we dealt with was nice and before long we just ended up in the process without really thinking twice about it. We’ve purchased a home before but this is the first time we had purchased with an online mortgage company.

It took a better part of 45 days dealing with two individuals and an underwriter and they asked for everything but my sixth-born child, just like it would in any mortgage. But I have rather mixed feelings with the online application process. If my wife had been a little bit more computer-oriented then it probably would’ve been even easier than it was. It was almost aligned with our last mortgage which we used person-to-person with. But it would be better if you deal with one person throughout the whole process because that would certainly simplify it. We felt like we were dealing with three people.

They were very nice, very kind and were very knowledgeable. In fact, so knowledgeable us being inexperience with dealing online stuff, sometimes it was a little difficult to figure out exactly what they mean. Something that was simple with them may have been a little more difficult for us to understand. But the representative have unwavering patience. We enjoyed working with both the individuals. They had good customer service skills. They went out of their way to help us any way they could. I got an excellent rate at the time and I think it has went up since then so I was very satisfied with my rate. Any kind of problems that we had they were minimum, which related to the fact that we were new at the online process of getting a mortgage.

Obtaining a mortgage through AmeriSave was quick. They were very efficient so we stuck with them. We spoke to the loan officer and we were comfortable with what he provided. It fits what we were doing so we went ahead with it. However, there was a glitch in our appraisal. It came back high and then for some reason, the underwriter looked at it and told us that’s not what it was and that the appraiser forgot to include some area of the property that was supposed to be included in the appraisal. That was disappointing.

I haven't seen the glitch being a problem before and it was a little odd because the appraiser came up really low than what it was before. It delayed our mortgage, and now instead of a lower loan to debt ratio percentage, it's now a bit higher. It required us to do a bit of number changing for some amount of time. But I give credit to Bryan who helped us through the process. He was efficient and he did a good job with us. He was always available for us to answer our questions. He also presented all the case scenarios so it was easy for us to choose from the top end. He followed up what we did, answered our questions, and was able to make us feel at ease in the process.

My experience with AmeriSave Mortgage was good. I have noticed, though, that they have resold the mortgage already, so hopefully that wouldn't become an issue. AmeriSave didn't allow automatic deductions through my account and I had to log into a website to do that. But now that they've transferred the mortgage to another company, I'm hoping that the company to which they've resold the mortgage has something like this. Other than that, AmeriSave was quick in their service and they got the refinance done by their closing date, to a secured date. If you're unsure about refinancing, make sure that you talk with one of their specialists because he clarified it in detail and did the breakdown. We weren't sure if we should utilize AmeriSave and which options to go with, but they had the experts and they had good rates.

They also had a secure box where you get your information from and scanned to. It was a good experience for somebody that was computer-savvy. At that time, we had a project that we were getting ready to do, so we were looking into refinancing. Then I started doing some research and LendingTree popped up. The following day, Someone from AmeriSave called and started doing the paperwork. They also told me what they were going to need and I got emails telling me what and when. It was flawless.

Also, they gave me time frames and what was expected of us. At no time was I wondering why I haven’t heard from them in a couple of days. Everything was laid out. And we were impressed with Tim and Joe. One of them was the lending coordinator. They both called and talked to me, and you can understand them in English. My mother-in-law helped us in getting a house and we wanted to pay her back. We went on the internet and AmeriSave seemed to have the best rates and was most consistent. We ended up going with a 30-year fixed mortgage. I went online late at night, filled out the application and got an answer back from the initial person that was working online. He then moved me over to a loan officer, and the next morning, I got the information I asked for. They moved me over to a lady rep that took me through the whole thing until the close. She was awesome. I always got a hold of her, she answered questions quickly and she didn't have to look for help to answer anything. She was very fast, efficient, professional and a great gal. There were some other programs available from other companies, but AmeriSave had the best bottom-line rate and the best grade overall. And the service ended up being very good too.

However, they sold the mortgage to Wells Fargo before the first payment fall due, which didn't make me thrilled. I ended up with the company that I wished I hadn't ended up with, just by luck of the draw. We'll have to wait and see how that all works out, but all I have is the account number from AmeriSave and not the Wells Fargo account number. I called Wells Fargo and had a terrible connection with the person and he said that he couldn't send a statement for the first mortgage payment that's due on April 1st. The service went downhill fast from what I got at AmeriSave.

We were looking to purchase a house and to help us select a mortgage provider, we did a lot of searching by word of mouth with our realtor and online and we compared rates and reviews. There were several competing ones but ultimately, my wife chose AmeriSave. They weren't too pushy in asking for information or leading us to go with them. Their application process was smooth and straightforward. William, our loan officer was very helpful. We had his number that we could call him on and he was always available to help out.

However, once we got to the point of loan application where we were working with the processor, we felt like our particular processor didn't pay attention to us when we spoke with her. She asked for a lot of information, which we provided, but we weren't able to get the answers to our questions. After working with them and realizing how each one of the people work, it was easy and we provided them way more information than we felt was necessary, but we were trying not to get frustrated with how they work.

Since they are online, we did everything electronically and we didn't have to go to any shop and we got used to that. However, we were surprised that they have already sold our loan to another company and our first mortgage payment isn't due until the first of April. We weren't told about that. It also seems like they have sold a lot of our information to companies that are looking to provide life insurance. It seems as though AmeriSave was a little bit more of a conduit to reap information from us to sell the information.

Since they sold our loan, I'll look in to see if we can lift the new bank as somebody that can work with our current bank to set up automatic payment because AmeriSave doesn’t come up in those registries. I assume AmeriSave doesn’t actually receive payment and they aren't set up as a bank. So, I don't understand them fully. For ease of access and continuous communication moving forward, I wouldn’t choose AmeriSave again if I had the choice. I also wouldn’t recommend them to a friend. If someone's more familiar with another banking or mortgage company, I would lead them in that direction.

I have gone through a bankruptcy four years ago and it was still hurting my credit. Amerisave said that they would work with me. I was very pleased ‘cause my credit was improving.

The reps I worked with were John and Holden. They were very knowledgeable, very friendly, and they weren’t pushy. I appreciated that because, at one point, I was thinking about backing out, and then they talked to me. They understood me, who was fresh off a bankruptcy, and they told me the pros and cons. They were mostly good things. I acted fast when they said they needed something. So, the whole thing took three weeks to happen. It was a quick turnaround and I thought it was not possible, but then it happened. But after that, the loan was sold to somebody else now. So, it’s now in a pending act from April. Nevertheless, I got to skip a month and that was great. Everybody at Amerisave was very cooperative and it was a great experience.

But we already knew that we were going to get the best rates from AmeriSave and that ended up being true. Of all the lenders who were willing to give us a cash out at 80% loan to value, Amerisave gave us the best rates.

They gave us constant updates and told us what we needed to do. We were also ahead of schedule and we had the lowest quote. So far, I got to pay my first mortgage payment and they sent me an email that I have to dig through and find out where I'm supposed to mail my check to. But I wish there had been a follow-up letter mail, saying, "Here's an envelope. Mail your mortgage check to this address." That was a minor thing, though. The first processor I worked with was horrible. Then I got moved to a guy named Steven. He knew what he was doing and he totally loved his job. Lauren and Steven did a phenomenal job. They went over and above. During the underwriting process the company wanted way too much detailed information on previous stuff that didn’t really pertain to the loan. It was very tedious. If it wasn’t for Steven and Lauren I would not have closed with them. I would have walked somewhere else and paid more money.

My debt-income ratio was not an issue, but they were all freaking out about a $70 HOA on my rental property that had nothing to do with the loan that I was getting. That was included in the CCB and they didn’t understand it. They said that it was included. I file my taxes and IRS is running their report. They had to have the report. I can’t do what the IRS only wants to do but AmeriSave really was a stickler on that.

Moreover, I understand that they had to verify my employment but they called my boss four times. They even called him after I’ve already closed. So it seemed like somebody passed the file to somebody else to somebody else. But I'm happy with the rate I received. 4.5 is good. However, I wish they did equity lines of credit instead of me having to go with somebody else. It would have been a one-shot without having to repeat the process through another lender. I'd tell friends to call Lauren and be prepared for AmeriSave to nitpick every little detail.

We were having problems with our escrow account as they kept on missing payments and sending rebate checks when they shouldn't. So, to fix all the problems and not have to keep on dealing with that, the only solution we could find was to refinance. And so, I was in the process of taking the mortgage to a different guy but when he came down to the very end, they lied and lied. And then, I talked to Randall from AmeriSave Mortgage and he told me all the facts right at the beginning. He was extremely upfront and nice. He didn't try to play any games that all the other companies try to play. And so I was like, "He's the guy I need to go with." He gave me a potential quote and sent me a website so I could see the different rates that I could choose from. One of the things he did was explain the dollar amount, how much I would save versus how much I'd have to spend upfront to see if different rates would be a good idea.

I chose one, answered a bunch of questions over the phone, talked to some people and then reviewed documents online. Someone also came and did an appraisal. The legal guy came out to our house as well. The process was very simple and it was over in around an hour and a half. Overall, it took about 20 days from when we started to when we finished the process. We got good rate and terms. They were basic and comparable to what I had before. Also, AmeriSave did a great job of being upfront and expressing all costs and not trying to hide behind anything. Anytime there was a potential change, they notified me beforehand, but they only had one change in the cost of anything and that was just because of the payout of the mortgage. Plus their closing cost was a lot lower than what other companies were offering. I would definitely recommend that people go with AmeriSave.

I was purchasing a new home and I really liked that Amerisave Mortgage’s website had transparent rates. I didn’t have to give them my information like my phone number before I got a rate quote. I didn’t want a ton of lenders tracking me down. After I got the rates and I compared them to some other lenders, I found that their rates infused were by far the best. I went with their first-time homebuyer and conventional loan.

After I found the house, it took 30 minutes to fill up the application and I got preapproved online. After I did the application online it connected with my bank accounts and it was all pulled automatically. The loan officer contacted me and let me know that it was being submitted for preapproval. A preapproval letter was returned the next morning and took less than 24 hours. The whole online application process was super easy and it was a really smooth, customer-friendly process. There were parts of the website that were a little outdated as far as user experience but I'd rather pay lower fees than have a flashy website.

Closing the loan was seamless and everything was delivered timely. My contract was 22 days because I wanted to make sure I got the house so it came in with an aggressive offer and a really short closing timeframe because I knew it had been on our contract and following through a number of times. I wanted them to take me seriously, AmeriSave pulled it out and got everything needed to close the loan in 21 days.

The AmeriSave reps were great. My loan officer was named Rebecca and she was extremely knowledgeable. The last time I purchased a home was almost 10 years ago so requirements were a lot different and I didn’t know exactly like what kind of program to go with, whether I should do conventional or FHA. She explained to me the differences between the two and that I would be able to drop mortgage insurance without refinancing with the conventional loan. Whereas, with an FHA, the payment was slightly less but I would have to refinance in order to drop mortgage insurance in a couple of years as the property appreciates. She was super knowledgeable about what the best option for me was.

My processor was named Randy and he did an excellent job in keeping me informed of where everything was in the process. There were a couple of times where he needed a letter of explanation for some withdrawals or payments for my bank accounts that weren’t reflected in the information that they pulled automatically, but he made that easy and typed it up for me and let me review it and sent that back.

The rate and terms of the mortgage were very fair. The rates were lower than what I had seen elsewhere and they were a lot lower than what the other real estate agent was pushing a lender. AmeriSave’s rates were a lot lower than that bank. I did it at a good time because rates went up in a month since I purchased. I definitely would recommend AmeriSave to friends and family. It was an easy-to-use process and they should not be deterred by the online nature of the business. Everything was easy and the loan officer and processor were really knowledgeable and customer-focused.

He almost answered his phone every time and when he didn’t, it was in minutes. I would definitely refer him and would use him again. Call AmeriSave and ask for Ray.

I had to refinance a HELOC. I had a previous experience with AmeriSave before so I knew how they went about their business and their process. I went to their website and I indicated that I was after a particular type of a refinance. I received something in my email indicating that they wanted to make me a quote on a refi. And then, once I went with AmeriSave, my experience was all very straightforward. They got a great website to handle the submission of documents, as well as the communication for and the collaboration with the documents. So, it was a quick three-week process and I was very happy with the outcome. Plus, I got the best rate from them.

Their reps were very confident and they answered my questions. If they didn't have the answer, they told me so and they'd try to give me an answer right that minute by speaking with somebody else or by following up and then getting back to me with the answer. They were first class, and communication was very easy. They were accessible and responsive. Given my situation, I wish I acted 30 days prior and done better. But I have what I have and they have historically lower rates, so it was all good. My experience with AmeriSave Mortgage was fantastic.

When I decided to look into mortgage, it was to lower my years and my rate. AmeriSave had an ad online and they had good rates advertised so I called them and went with them. I'm extremely busy and didn't have time to hunt. I just wanted to get the job done and move on. The application was all done online. The process was fine, other than it just wanted more documentation and the paperwork was bouncing back and forth. I started last year and it did drag and drag. I got super busy and I didn't have time to keep messing with it so I just had to drop it. We got back on it this year when I had a little more time and it took seven weeks to get over.

If AmeriSave tries to reduce the paperwork that they wanted, they could have been improved. They got into my side business warehouse and they need to understand the world doesn't live in a bubble. People that work in that industry think everything is just perfect and the sky is always blue, and things change and it's a very polarized world and they don't realize that. I know it's not their fault and it was the bankers' or whoever, but they started digging into my side business that I have and wanting information on that and redoing the contract that I have.

I own one warehouse and lease another, and they wanted the warehouse lease rewritten but that was none of their business. That had nothing to do with me personally, but they got into all kinds of stuff and I couldn't believe they stuck their nose into it. Other than that, AmeriSave worked as hard as I did to get the job done and they got it done. Their rates and terms of the refinance was fine and I knew what I was getting into. And if a friend of mine asks me about them, I will tell my friend that they did a great job.

I wanted to get some cash out, pay some bills and do some home improvements. AmeriSave Mortgage had the lowest origination fee. I would have liked to have a lower interest rate, but for the times, it was good. My program is a refinance cash out. Bryan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the financing. He guided me through everything. Then, he handed it off to another officer. She was excellent and helped me through everything. I couldn’t ask for a better service. They set up everything on my email where I could go through it very easily. However, certain documents had to be faxed in, but I understand that it would be necessary. The application process was great and much better than having to go into an office with somebody. It took about two weeks. I felt very comfortable working with them, and I would recommend AmeriSave Mortgage.

The entire lending process took a couple of weeks. It was seamless. Their rep called me and talked to me through everything and told me what my best options would be. And then, anytime something popped up from my account that I needed to do or anything that I needed to upload, she emailed me and followed up with a call to make sure that I got what needed to be done so things moved quickly. She kept in the loop with everything and was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable working with her. Every six months I look around to see if I can improve my payments by dropping the rate. The guys at AmeriSave seemed to be the most crisp in what they were doing and what I was looking for. I told them that I'm looking for a certain mortgage product. I'm looking for a 30-year fixed. It could be either lender-paid PMI or customer-paid PMI. The value of the house is increasing so I'm close to 20%. I asked what are the upfront fees and what rate can I get while limiting my upfront payment. They sent me three different proposals and then we worked from there.

What I liked about them is they were actually very attentive to what I was needing and not necessarily pushing what they wanted to push as far mortgage products. After I explained to them what I needed they provided me points of analysis focusing on that mortgage product that I wanted and helped me drive down the upfront cost and/or the total cost that I'll be paying my mortgage in the future. Subsequent to agreeing on a mortgage product they were very proactive in their communication about the application process and the closing process. The rate and terms were exactly what I was looking for to refinance. I was also able to take 5/8 of a point off my mortgage and did it with zero dollars out of my pocket.

I was refinancing and AmeriSave Mortgage’s closing costs were less than the other lenders that I encountered. Plus their online application process was very easy. The application and underwriting process was in stages. We talked on a Thursday and by the following Wednesday everything from their part was organized and there was a document list that they needed from me and they had already reached out to my employer. It was clean on the first end. And then we had to wait for the appraisal and the underwriter. So initially everything went extremely fast.

I worked with two people. Rebecca was the initial person that I spoke to who sold AmeriSave to me. I had talked to four or five different lenders earlier in the day and I told her I was not really interested. But she gave the best pitch of the day. And then Alan was the one that went through the entire process with me. He kept me up-to-date all the time. Even when there wasn't anything or any real significant movement he was in touch and said that they were working on it. He communicated back to me very quickly so that nothing was on hold. I would recommend AmeriSave Mortgage.

I initially went through LendingTree online and I got a hold of AmeriSave through one of the sites that advertised loans. I made several loans with them and they were good to work with. However, this loan that I'm working on right now has been pretty difficult. They've been a little unreasonable. I've got about $270,000 in a savings account, and they thought that was more money than it should be in there and they wanted to know where all the money came from. It's been crazy. I'd understand if there's been a bit with the banking no-doc loans and stuff had happened in the past, but that's not the situation. I'm going to go down with 50% of the property's value in cash. So it's not like I'm strapped for cash and I'm trying to eke by.

I'm a USAA member and have been for over 40 years and they carry all my insurance. AmeriSave can't get it right as to what town it's in 'cause it's between towns. The lender doesn't want to lend because the insurance says one town listed on it and they have another town listed on all their docs. I've spent four to five hours on the phone with them today trying to get that all straightened out. Also, the underwriters are being really tough. I dealt with the same guy over and over before, but he left the company. The rep I'm dealing with now is letting the underwriters run her around in circles, so it's been unfortunate. If I had another loan I was going to make on another piece of property, I wouldn't use Amerisave again.

The online application process with Amerisave Mortgage was good. They're always downloading it and I always knew the next step because it would be downloaded. I got the conventional loan program from them. The underwriting process finished within 30 days. The hardest thing is getting my checks, taxes, and returns together. We got the regulations from the federal government and it gets very complicated. There were so many forms that I signed at closing and it has doubled over the last 10 years.

Frank was my representative and at my beckoning call, this man has done the job. He got back to me through email, phone calls, and reminders quickly. He would tell me, "Hey, you forgot to do this. You didn't sign to get this done. When you're doing this process, it’s gonna cost you money, if you're not 100% always in." Frank kept on pushing it a bit. This guy lives in our hometown, so I'm pretty comfortable with him.

The rate was moving around a little bit based on some changes in the stock market. It was nailed down eventually, but it ended up a little higher than I thought it was gonna be from the original. That always seems to be the problem. When you're starting with them, you can't seem to lock in until they get their information. The markets were changing on the way up, so I didn’t get the exact rate I was looking for and I paid a lot of money to get the rate I want. But as long as you got your income tax return and your things are running, it's a pretty simple process. I would recommend Amerisave Mortgage.

The personality of the gentleman from AmeriSave who helped me was not pushy and he knew what he was talking about. He seemed very professional versus some of the other folks I’ve talked to. We got a 10-year fixed, variable loan after that. There were a lot of online forms. Communication was very good through the portal that was on the site, but basically, it was logging into the site, finishing up documents, waiting for approvals and finishing more documents. Then once it got finally approved, everything went pretty smooth from there. I’m a techy kind of person, so for me, it’s very easy and convenient. For some people, it maybe not so easy. If you’re not a tech person, you need some baby steps to walk through what they do with the online process. I’m fortunate enough to understand it, but my wife did not understand it when I was showing it to her.

Once the loan got started, the rep introduced me to other people in the organization. They reached out to me via email and phone, and they introduced themselves. It was a very personable experience even though it was online. AmeriSave's rates and terms were competitive compared to the other companies. Also, the communication was transparent, everybody was involved, and there was good communication.

We were looking to refinance and consolidate debt. I've been through Lending Tree and after I filled out the application, someone from Amerisave contacted me and went through an informal beginning process. He explained to me my best rate. He also gave me options depending on how much money I wanted to get back. Then he explained how much the discount was. I was really impressed with the fact that they gave me options and let me decide what I think was best.

I went through three different mortgage companies. One was Rocket Mortgage and they just said that I would do 4.75. They didn't give me any options and I had to pay all the closing cost. Things fell apart and I wasn't happy with them. AmeriSave Mortgage gave me rates on the FHA down to 3.2% and up to 5%. The higher the rate, the more of the closing cost they would cover. I went with 3.8% and they covered all of the closing cost. Although I could have gone down to 3.2 that meant I would have to pay $8,000 in closing cost. The rates were really good and we were happy. Moreover, the rep was really great in getting back to me. The process took about a month because we went back and forth on if we were going to do a conventional or FHA. However, once we knew what we were doing, it only took about a week.

There was a miscommunication on their part with the title company they used on how the funds were going to be transferred. Amerisave thought it was going to be electronic but the title company had sent checks to other places. We were under the impression that all of our debts were being consolidated and they were going to electronically transfer the funds to those institutions to pay off the debts. We found out later when a payment didn't go through on time that they had sent checks in the mail instead of using same-day electronic transfer. That caused me to get a late payment but the title company reimbursed me for it. I would tell friends to use them. Amerisave was great and I would recommend them to anybody.

I wanted to refinance. I had a lot of equity and wanted to get rid of my mortgage insurance. My brother-in-law highly recommended Amerisave Mortgage. He’s had very good experiences with them. So, I went ahead and trusted his advice because we’re very like-minded. Amerisave did a credit check. They needed some information about my home, like the elevation and insurance information to make sure that I had it. I already had those with my first mortgage, so I just scanned and sent them. It was easy for me and everything was done within a couple of hours. I liked it because I didn't have a lot of time to be leaving the house. I’m a stay-at-home mom and I have a baby and it worked out perfect for me to be able to do things over the phone and just digitally.

Also, their rep was very polite, knowledgeable, straight to the point and on time with everything. He was very in with the whole process. If something needed attention, he’d call or email me. He’d always get back to me fairly quickly if we missed each other. He was on top of the process the whole time. I felt very comfortable working with him. Plus, I am very pleased with the terms. It’s better than my previous loan. Even though the interest rate is the same, because the APR is lower it makes a difference in our payment.

I went to Lending Tree and Amerisave was the first company who called me back. I was looking for a cash-out and a refi and I got an FHA refi from them. I worked with a rep to close the loan and consolidate the documentation. She was easy to take a hold of, responded quickly and was very attentive. There were some documents she needed and some things that I needed to provide and it was very quick. Any interaction was good. We walked through some of the options and looked at possible programs. Within a couple of days, we had an appraisal. Then, within another week and a half and a few documents back and forth, I had a closing date. It took less than 30 days.

There was only one very small hiccup, however. It had to do with the final closing documents which listed all the amounts and the payoff on the loan. There was an older payoff document that was used for underwriting which was done prior to me making my February mortgage payment. The loan itself was underfunded but they worked with my prior mortgage company and had it resolved in 24 hours. Then they sent me a check for another $185 to cover the interest for getting delayed a couple of days and that was it.

I had somebody call me and then I received two responses. One of them had a low interest rate with a 30-year payout and then AmeriSave said that they could save me half a percent and cut it in half. I refinanced and have gotten a 15-year, $84,000 loan at 4.3 interest with a 50-year payout. When they first contacted me, I told them that I was reluctant to get into the process because I have had a bad experience with American Equity. But I was motivated to do the refi because I had a private lender. It was an individual who was 96 years old and if something happened to him, I didn't want any drama about who owns what house, so I’d rather go through a company.

With AmeriSave, everything was streamlined. We took care a lot of it at night, and Christopher, the loan originator that contacted me, was very helpful. He called me around 7:00 or 8:00 and we were calling each other back and forth. The whole process, on the first day, ended around 11:00. He was very patient. He walked me through it and everything. The loan processor, Thomas, was the one that I had the most integration with. They said they were going to get it done in about a month, and they did. It was done in three weeks, but I had to wait due to Texas law.

They ran into some bumps in the road, but they were very patient and courteous. The process was really good and very easy. They had a web portal where I was able to just go in and get all the info. They get what they need and then I just uploaded the documents and I could see the progress of my loan. When I was with that other company, I didn’t have a web portal, so I was wondering what was going on. I lost my cool a couple of times because AmeriSave kept asking for some other information, but they were very polite and just encouraged me to be patient, so everything worked out. I have gotten some cash out and had that private lender paid off.

There were things that they asked me that I had to jump through some hoops for. They asked me for payouts. There were some loans that I had that they were going to pay off with the cash out so they asked me for the payoff amounts. Then, they said that they didn't need it and that they'll just use my credit report, which was weird. In the end, they just paid off the loans based on the credit report. However, in some cases, they overpaid because what my credit report shows lags behind. In some cases, it was $300 and in some cases, it was $400. I felt really good working with them. They kept their word and followed through on things. I’d tell friends that AmeriSave Mortgage is a good company and I’ve had a good experience with them.

I refinanced with AmeriSave Mortgage and everything went well. The online application process was very easy and I received great feedback. Moreover, I had great people who kept me on target and on track, as well as let me know what was going at all times with the refinance status. The whole process took about a month and a half, due to the fact that the VA appraiser took almost two and a half weeks to get the appraisal back. This was the first time I’ve ever been through it and I thought it was great from when we started to the very end. But you can get stressed out with trying to figure out the appraisal but they were great.

They had a closing officer and we met at a time and a neutral location that was convenient for me. We were able to go through the documentation, which I’ve already seen but just printed out. Everything was pretty much taken care of. There was one thing though. When they go to a titling company and they send out checks, they tend to send checks to you and then you have to turn around and send them in. That was not a good process because the check needs to go straight to the debt itself. Because you become a middleman and now you’re taking a $10,000 check and you’re overnighting it and you’re spending $30 on overnighting it to a different location. That was the only problem I did not like about that whole situation. But their rates were awesome and it was a great experience.

I applied for a loan with AmeriSave Mortgage online. It was convenient but I didn't like it. I had a lot of questions and I would rather just go in a couple of times in somebody's office and be done with the process. The whole process from start to finish was a long ordeal, longer than I expected. We started in August and it just wrapped up a few weeks ago. AmeriSave did everything. They sent an email and said, "Hey, this is the day you're gonna close." and it was done. If there was ever a question, all I had to do was send an email and their reps were prompt. Prompt is a day or two and that's good for me. The people were very professional, which I like. But there were some things that I should've asked but I didn't know how to ask during the whole process. It was a learning experience for me too.

I just hope there was more communication. At first, I was told that my closing was only going to be 400 and some dollars. Two days before closing, it jumped up to over a thousand or something dollars. They had to extend something, which increased the downpayment. But in the long run, it was actually better for me. An extra $650 is a whole lot less than what I'll be paying on extra interest on the term of the mortgage. Also, they had to pull my credit twice because the process took longer than expected and I didn't like that either.

Furthermore, the house was sold as is from my sister-in-law to my wife's sister. We bought it off for her so it was sold as is. The guy came out and appraised it and he had appraised a lot less than it did eight years ago when my sister-in-law bought it. I don't understand why it dropped $35,000. So I had to go back and spend more money to fix things. Before they would approve it, they expected me to paint the exterior of the house, and I did and I was really upset. I was not very comfortable doing business with their rep because I didn't know him. I could only put a name with the voice. They could have come and walk in here. Nevertheless, the rate and terms were reasonable because I went through a divorce about eight years ago and I'm in the process of still rebuilding my credit. It's not as great as it used to be but I was happy with it. I've referred a co-worker to them who wanted to refinance his house. Overall, I was satisfied with them.

I had a high-interest rate and I wanted to loan my interest rate. I used LendingTree and 10 people called me. It was AmeriSave's rep, Jordan, who I really liked. She was really knowledgeable and I like working with females. I got a couple of loans estimate quotes. I then checked a quote, brought it back to Amerisave, took Amerisave's quote to another company and I got the most comfortable result from Amerisave. So, I decided to go with them. And then I lied to the other company telling them that I lost my job so they would stop calling me.

Their online application process was good, everything was electronic. The application and underwriting process took two to three weeks. Amerisave was good but I wanted to see exactly how Amerisave is different when a consumer brought a competitor loan estimate quote to them. I wanted to see it written out, exactly highlighted in the loan estimate offer of how it was different. Because when I brought the loan estimate, that was when Jordan went over with me. It was all online and it was highly confusing that I didn't understand all the time. She could have highlighted the difference and send her rough draft to me. Nonetheless, she called, emailed and followed up with me a lot to make sure I signed my loan. Jordan was very knowledgeable, very patient and sounded trustworthy. We had a lot of long discussions and she answered all my questions. I told her that I want the 20 years instead of 30 years and she rewrote the loan estimate.

However, AmeriSave sold my loan within a day. So now I'm with City Mortgage. My original mortgage which was PHH Mortgage when I bought the house in 2015, that loan was sold as well. So, it really doesn't matter what mortgage company you go with because they will just sell your loan. You got to remember that these people who were trying to help you were also trying to get money out of you. Everyone could give the same rate, could make that $4,000 or $5,000 off of you but everyone just wanted your business. So, I just went with the person that I like the best, and it was overall a good and positive experience.

I filled out the paperwork online. I’m an old man and I’ve done a couple of mortgages in my life so I knew what they needed. I had everything available to me. The only bad part of AmeriSave that they have to correct was that every single question required me to sign my name using the mouse which was the stupidest thing and it was hard to do. I have a long last name and to try to do my signature on every single page was a pain. And if I got one little item wrong on that page and I had to redo it as the signature was wiped out. There were some pages that I did it two or three times because they were multiple questions and were not answered exactly as was expected. I had to keep redoing it until they were satisfied and each time with mouse signature.

But that was the only part I objected to. I could have had my signature scanned and I could have placed it on every document but their process wouldn’t accept it. It wouldn’t allow a copy and paste. I understand that in order to make it a legal document, they have to have the signature, but they have to figure out a better way to do it than that.

Other than that signature, everything else was fine. Jamie was my rep and he paid attention to what I was saying and what I was asking. I dealt with a whole lot of people that I didn't know where their mind was but they weren't listening to me or paying attention to what I was talking about. Jaime was with me all the way and did a very good job. The same applies to Nicky, the loan processor. She handled the paperwork and when she told me she was going to get back to me, she did so within an hour and gave me accurate answers. She was in a different office and not in the home office so I understood that. Both people I dealt with were very helpful and Nicky was right on top of everything so I didn’t have any problem. I was more than satisfied with dealing with them.

I got a 30-year fixed loan from AmeriSave. The terms of my loan were okay and the rate was exactly where the other two companies that I checked were at. I would have preferred a little bit less but I understand people have to make a living. The underwriting was quick too. I have a decent credit score and I don’t have any questions about my credit. But I thought my home was worth more than what they appraised it for. The appraiser didn’t understand these townhomes although he used to live across townhomes. He appraised it way low.

I went online, going through LendingTree, and they set up several companies to go. For some reason, I went with Amerisave and I'm glad that I did. I went through the process all on the phone, and they were really helpful as far as walking me through how to do everything. It was my first time so I was nervous about it, but with all the help, it went really well. It was a great experience. I really enjoyed both the people that I had communications with. All of the employees I dealt with, from the gal answering the phone to the customer service, were very helpful as far as getting me to the right person. The reps were always very professional and easy to get along with. The rate given to me was a good deal from what I had before, too. If I ever had a chance to use them again, I would.

I looked into a mortgage for consolidating debt and shortening my loan term. I did price shopping on several sources. I went to my local bank, then to my existing mortgage company to inquire about refinance options through them. There's also a local refinance office in the metroplex that I inquired at. Once I have those rates to compare, I went to LendingTree to see what the national rates were and Amerisave was the only one that came in lower. I also glanced over some of the reviews on LendingTree but also Googled a few others and made sure it was pretty consistent. Amerisave's site came up, and they had good reviews. They ended up calling me, and since that was the company I was looking into, I went ahead, took the call, and followed their process. Once I got the information and felt confident, I decided to go with them versus the other two sources I'd considered.

The process of obtaining my mortgage was straightforward. Most of my interactions was through two individuals, and they were personable, prompt, and courteous. Everything went smooth, and their experience and professionalism was the reason I felt comfortable going through in a national lender. Any time anything came up, like any new documents requested or other concerns, I had an email as soon as they found out and a call within 5 or 10 minutes of receiving the email. Their availability and promptness was what kept me through the process, or why I didn’t back out or felt uncomfortable throughout. For a refi with cash-out, Amerisave was the best option I came across, and I was able to close with the rates that were advertised.

They had a notary come in and she rented an office at one of the local title companies. We waited on her. She was about 50 minutes late to the appointment, didn’t know where she was going. Once we got in there, she also didn’t know a lot of the paperwork. She was fumbling through it. When I decided to read things, that kind of offended her because I wanted to actually be reading what I was signing. That was the only time I felt uncomfortable. At that point, I considered backing out. She wasn’t a direct employee of Amerisave but someone they contracted. She was very sweet and was patient with my kid though, but again, the experience of the actual closing itself and then getting things done, it was a disappointment. Even that office was embarrassed because we were past our appointment start time. They were apologetic.

However, I'll tell friends to consider Amerisave, and it helps having your t’s crossed and I’s dotted before starting the process. The rates and the turnaround offered were considerably better. In my case, it was almost half a percent lower interest rate. They were also able to close in a minimum time allowed by the state. The closing time only took 11 or 12 days, which was great. From past experiences of friends and family, closing has taken two or three times longer than what the minimal days were advertised.

I received an email regarding the lowering of the interest rates and some different things like that, that I may qualify for some of them. I responded to the email and I received tons of emails and phone calls from all sorts of mortgage companies. One of them was Amerisave and I met more of their criteria. I have only been with Walmart like for 14 months and most of the mortgage companies required two years even though I have a long work history. But Amerisave we were able to proceed and get through everything.

The appraisal went very smoothly. We were able to get it right away. So it just all the pieces fell into place like they were supposed to. We didn't really have any hiccups. I just received a letter from AmeriHome letting me know that they have transferred my loan to Amerisave. The only problem I had with that was I was trying to set up where I could get my payments sticking out automatically out of my checking account at a certain time every month. That's what I did with my original home mortgage and I was not able to get on to Amerisave's website to get to the area that they said I needed to be in. But I can just on through my bank and set it up as a recurring payment.

The few people I worked with were very open and easy for me to work with particularly Steven. He answered tons and tons of questions and went over everything very well. And I had a very good experience with the closer. She was very thorough and even helped me find a place where we were closing because I was lost. San Antonio is a big city. Everything went very smoothly so I'm very, very thankful. I don't think they are a huge corporation but I don't think you have to be a huge corporation to do your job.

I refinanced my other house with AmeriSave Mortgage. I was new at the time but with AmeriSave, the prices were offhand which was very important. They also didn't charge anything more on whatever was listed. That gave me an idea of how much I was going to spend. It made it easy to make the deficit. Ultimately the loan went to one of the big banks so it was excellent to go with AmeriSave Mortgage. I made a new home purchase and made my second transaction with them.

I liked their online process. It was smart, pretty easy, straightforward and didn't take much time. It was all secure too. I logged the rates then I submitted the necessary documents that were required. Once that was done, I got the pre-approval. After that, I went for the purchase depending on that preapproval. Once I had that ready then I got the loan. In four weeks, the application and underwriting process was done. It depended on how the bidding process.

I had really good input from AmeriSave's customer service as well as the detailed information about why and where I was charged. They answered all my questions so I was very happy. I did the deal with Chiva initially and she was great but she left in the middle of the production and joined another company. Christine then took over and she did a good job as well.

I was impressed with their communication. If I made a call, I got a callback within five minutes with what the input I needed or at least an idea about when the call would be coming back. It was a very quick response so I knew what and when to expect from them. That was very important. And AmeriSave has everybody in there. But most of the time is spent on getting the view of the information from the IRS which takes one whole week. The title processing also takes a week. I wish that they could cut the time down on those. They also need to be proactive in telling the buyer about the activities that are going on as well as the communication that is coming from like from the title company, the seller’s agent or buyer. Sometimes things are communicated behind the scene and at the end like when the actual signing is going on. All this should be confirmed before the actual disclosure document.

One of the things that I didn’t get information from them was if I got the loan with the PMIs. The terms were pretty ambiguous. Sometimes I got information saying I could get it out of the PMI in six months. Sometimes I would get something stating I needed to wait for two years to get enough PMIs. That was not transparent. Once the loan was transferred to a bank and I had no idea what was there. We needed to incorporate that in somewhere and finalize that. They kept changing depending on who the lender was and as the loan got sold to different people I would get a different number which was not good at all.

Other than that, I was pretty comfortable working with AmeriSave. They have the process in place and they follow that. Sometimes it depends on the person. As a customer, I try to understand where the boundary in the communication is between for example the underwriter and the loan processor, who is handling what. That is unless I call them and find out. So it’s mainly good to have just one person to deal with. Overall, I'd tell others to try out AmeriSave.

We had some high balances on some revolving debt at some high interest rates. So, we decided to tap into the equity in the house and refinance and get some cash out to pay off those debts. I used LendingTree to get my information out there and of course, I received about 400 responses in 30 seconds. But I got one good personal phone call from our rep at Amerisave and I've been working with him and with the education he was able to give me around the products, I felt comfortable going with them.

Everything was done online. We had some email communication and a portal was set up that made it very easy for us to exchange information and begin collecting the steps that they needed and for managing the disclosure process electronically. It was a very smooth transaction. The application and underwriting process took 20 calendar days. It was very simple and easy to follow and there was almost daily communication either via email or phone call to make sure everything is going well. It was the best transaction of that type I’ve ever had.

I also had several phone calls with their customer service if I had some questions. At first, I was comparing their offer with another broker here in Orlando and I've been working back and forth with the rep. He was able to assure me that if for some reason the other broker was going to offer a better deal, they had a match policy so I could still feel very comfortable with locking in and going forward because even after post close, they have a policy to help you out in the event that the other broker would have come back with a better deal, but they didn’t.

That was a cool comfort piece as far as doing business with them and the general questions and education around the different products that were available to us and the differences between, for instance the FHA route and the traditional route in helping us make a clear, good decision that technically saved us money over the period. He knew exactly how the products work and how it would best fit our situation.

I felt very comfortable working with the rep. I was impressed with the consistent follow-up and even with an email from the underwriter just letting us know that certain phases had been completed. I'm also impressed with the ability to check the dashboard to see that everything was moving along. It was very rare that myself or my wife started wondering where we are in the process.

The rates I received from them were extremely competitive. I could not beat the rate and/or the overall fee closing cost structure with any other brokers. I got the best deal in addition to the service. I’ve told several friends that if they are considering either new purchase or refinance, they should reach out to AmeriSave. I also got the rep's contact information so that my friends could also benefit from the service and pricing that we received.

I wanted to refinance my home equity line before the rates went up. It looks like interest rates are on the rise and I wanted to lock it in and had a variable rate. So I went through LendingTree and in two days, I got 100 calls. And the people that sounded reasonably smart, I asked them to send me a list of their rates from 15-year, 30-year, 20-year mortgages and a variety of different rates and fees so that I could compare them against each other and make a decision. The folks from Amerisave were the quickest and most forthcoming. Everyone else wanted to talk to me again even though I asked them two or three times to just send me rates so I could compare. They didn’t do it so I went with Amerisave to I refinance my first mortgage.

Amerisave did a credit check, asked me for a bunch of information and I sent it to them. Everybody seemed to really know what they were doing. They asked for the right stuff and worked all the right angles and got it done. Most of the process was online and it was great. I'm a bit involved with software and they had some good software. They had a really good website. They had it worked out so that I could electronically sign things and easily transfer files from my computer to theirs with the forms that they needed. Application and underwriting took a couple of weeks. It took me a little time to put together the information that they needed, but aside from that, they were really quick. It was all done well and very smoothly.

Customer service was terrific. Most of the time, I was able to get through to live people quickly. I spoke to two gentlemen for the most part and they were both very knowledgeable. They handled any questions that I had and if I didn’t talk to them immediately, they got right back to me and did a good job overall. Their rates and terms were about as good as any that I’d seen around. There were a couple of other places that were just about the same rate, terms, and expenses, but Amerisave had a better customer service. I'd recommend them highly. They know what they're doing and they'll get it done in a short amount of time.

My husband told me to use AmeriSave and I did since I bought an investment property. But with my experience with them, I will never use them again. Instead of the underwriters telling me that this was what they all needed, every day it was something new that I had to give to them. They should have looked at my file and told me they needed these five items. And it wasn't me giving them these five items and then saying, they needed a follow-up to the five items that I gave them. It was a new item every single time.

And when I was showing my proof of income like paycheck stubs, it got way too complicated just because one paycheck said, "commission" and one paycheck was titled something different but it was still like a bonus for the year. I also showed secured assets and I could have just swapped the home outright twice. I gave statements that showed hundreds of thousands of dollars in it. They also wanted my divorce decree from 10 years ago that I had to give to them. It was one thing after another. It was very frustrating.

We had to escalate it because it was getting out of control. It got resolved then. Evan, the processor, was wonderful but their underwriting department has a lot of opportunity for efficiency in order to close loans in a timely manner, not frustrate the customer, and not have to have an escalation on them. I was dissatisfied and I will not recommend AmeriSave because of the underwriting piece.

We purchased a house from a private party that had owned the house outright. The former owner sold us the house and basically was just acting as the bank. So we paid an outside company to handle the money transfer. We would pay the outside company and they would pay her. We had made a two-year agreement that after two years we would take out our own financing for the house. We were about seven months out from that and it was time for us to leave the nest.

I had looked into AmeriSave once before so I decided I look at them again. They were friendly the first time around but we weren’t quite ready to do anything at the time. So we filled up their online thing and within minutes of doing that one Saturday they were on the phone calling me back on, "What can we do? Let’s make this happen" and they did.

I paid, they went through and said, ”Okay. What is it that you’re wanting to do?” They looked at how much we owed and they made it happen. And then there were a couple of interest rate option. So I told Don from AmeriSave that I needed to talk to my husband. My husband had no idea I was even looking into it yet. Within hours he called me back and he said, “Hey. The 3.75, you need to lock it in.” He said that it was going to go up by Monday. He said, "Otherwise, we’re going to keep going back and forth and the rate is going to give a lower cost of things and you might end up with a rate that you don’t want.”

He said, “You’re not obligated to lock in a rate.” And so I said, “Okay.” So I went on there and I've read through all the disclaimers and I locked in the rate and then from there, it was "Okay. We need this information from you.” It took me a little bit of time to gather up all the information but the online signature stuff made it very convenient. So once we got through that process I was able to fill out what I needed to fill out. My husband was able to fill out what he needed to fill out without actually being in the same room to make sure that it got down and any documents I was able to just upload. The process was very simple.

They went above and beyond. My husband and I had filed a bankruptcy quite a long time ago. It just cleared basically off the books so he was able to get us in and do what we needed to do effortlessly. Anytime I had a question about something I would send Don an email and he immediately responded. It didn’t matter if it was 6:00 in the morning or 8:00 at night. He was very attentive and very responsive about it. There was a secondary person that had gone through all the paperwork and once she was involved she was the same way.

Whatever question I had if one isn’t answering the other one would. The way that they have it set up was really a team effort for them. They were able to handle it, no problem. It took a little longer than they had hoped but we had a couple of documents that were just a little bit unclear. But as far as the process had gone and not having anybody here locally to talk to, having to deal with somebody far away was painless.

My former rate was 5.5. I was able to lock in a 3.75, which is huge for me. That saved me a couple of hundred dollars a month in a mortgage payment. Keep up the great work and I’m totally grateful for having the rep respond back. I kept getting calls even through the process. Even after we had closed on the refinance. Other reps are trying to still, “Hey, we saw that you’re trying to refinance.” I’m like, “No. We just closed.” So that would be my only break about it.

I don’t know if they got them through the internet or how the software works for them. But if a client is already an active client or just finishing up their process other reps shouldn’t be able to go in there and go, “Oh, let me call this one. I see that they’re interested.” There’s should be a way to show that it’s already in process. But I would tell a friend to use them and I would probably give them Don’s number and have them call him directly because he was very helpful.

Another great thing about Amerisave is that they have an automated underwrite system that checks if you’re eligible for the total price, and I was through on that. So, there was no appraisal involved in the process, which went very well, especially since they have an online access to look at the application status clearly. I can also upload my files to their website, and then view the set if some other documents were reviewed or not. So, that was a great thing. Their representatives were also great. They responded very quickly, and they answered all of my questions in a very clear and timely manner.

I was doing a refinance on my home, read a bunch of reviews and decided to start a dialogue with Amerisave. When I was deciding, it came down to service. They got back to me really fast and the guy that I spoke to was really informative. Their rate was competitive too. I got some that were fractions of a point cheaper but from the reviews I read, Amerisave seemed like a legitimate company. The fractions of points didn’t make that much of a difference in the overall loan I was looking for.

I did the online application and it was easy. The process was great and it went really fast, maybe a few weeks. The user experience of the website could have been a little better but that’s a minor detail of the overall experience with AmeriSave. Brent was my representative and his service levels were fantastic. He said I could call him at any time when I have questions about the loan, and one night, we had a conversation at 10:30 PM. He was happy to do it and I was blown away by the level of service 'cause I didn’t expect that. He was super knowledgeable too. After I left the loan originator, I went to the underwriter guy and he was pretty close to how good Brent was. It was a great experience.

I thought the interest rate of AmeriSave was good for my refinance. The loan officer I was working with was really nice and answered all my question although he was persistent afterwards. I availed of their 30-year conventional loan program. Initially had to agree to a certain extent that I wanted to go through with it and the loan officer wanted my Social Security Number so that he could obtain my credit rating history. That was a big step and I knew that even just doing that was a hard hit on my credit.

From there, there were more conversations and I told them all along that I didn't want to get pressured into doing anything I didn't want. I was doing my research and I wanted to fold in some credit added to my new mortgage so that I could have some breathing room there and I looked at other options like a consolidation loan. There were some minor issues about that but it worked out. I didn't get exactly everything I wanted only because the house did not appraise at what I wanted it to be. That changed the numbers a little bit and that gave me a pause. But then I went ahead and they were still a good deal.

The underwriting was very fast. It seemed like it was even faster than when I bought my first home. Everything was done pretty much online. I agreed, I went online and signed some documents using the e-signature. They appraised the house a few days later. Overall, I was very pleased with the whole process. But it would be nice to have a personal element like talking to a loan officer face to face. I wasn't comfortable at first because I was giving personal information about myself to people I couldn't see face to face. That was a little nerve-wracking. But once I logged in my password my user ID, I started feeling a lot more comfortable and it was all very legitimate. I only spoke to the loan officer and the underwriter and they were both very professional, courteous and responsive.

At the end of the day, I got the loan I wanted. I got the mortgage payment a little less and I was able to wrap up some debt into that. If I ever buy a home in the future or do another refi, I will definitely look to AmeriSave first. I would also recommend them to friends and if anybody ever asks me, I'd tell them I had a great experience with Amerisave.

AmeriSave Mortgage has been great. I wanted to refinance my house so I could pay off some debt. I searched and Amerisave came up as one of the possible lenders I can do business with, and they had some good reviews. Everybody was very prompt and courteous, and they get me up to date on whatever we do online so that was very convenient. They would ask me for some information, and I would submit it. They would call if they needed any other information or they'd send me e-mail to let me know of the progress of the whole mortgage. There was one rep that I worked with more than others, and he was great. If I ever had any questions, he would answer them and he handheld me through the whole process. It was not stressful at all. The rates and their terms were good. They are fantastic. Great service!

We have two houses that were on a variable and we figured it was time to investigate whether or not there was any value for us to do the refi. And we knew the interest rates were going up. Amerisave was the first one that called and the first one that we answered the questions to. Their online application process was excellent. If it had just been an online process, it probably would have been more difficult, but AmeriSave's people were there to talk us through each step, if we had what we needed, if we needed more, or if we had too much. The process involved gathering the paperwork that showed our financial status with taxes, homeownership, and salaries. And then with each one of those steps, the validity and thoroughness of the paperwork that we got information for were checked until we got to the point where we had everything and we were able to sign papers. Everything from the application to signing was four weeks.

Amerisave's customer service team answered questions, helped us through some of the paperwork that was a little bit more tedious and demanding for us that didn’t have the information. They were absolutely wonderful and we had all the information we needed. The communication was fabulous. They were there like almost 24/7. The rep we worked closely with called all the time and he had the patience that we needed. I just hope there was some way to have to do less paperwork. But other than that, AmeriSave did the job for us. And from watching the market, 4.5 was a good rate to get. We were happy with that. And if my friends are interested in refinancing, I'd tell them to look into AmeriSave.

I needed to refinance my home equity in line of credit and decided to put them both together at once. Amerisave has competitive rates and good reviews online. The application process was straightforward and the documentation process was very efficient. It was all electronic. But because it's highly automated, when a human gets involved and says something different than the automated emails will generate, there creates confusion.

That happened in a number of instances where I talked to the closer or the loan processor and they would say one thing and the automated email would say another, and that would cause another call. If the person that I'm talking to knows that an automated email is going to go out and says something different, they need to find a way to make sure the automated email doesn't go out and they customize it to what we talked about. But other than that, the interactions I had with the representatives and the rate are fine. And I would recommend Amerisave.

There were phone calls sometimes, and since I'm pretty busy at work, it helped out. I was able to basically message and get a quick response from the loan officer so that was great. She was very direct when we connected through e-mails. I wanted a fast response and she was really good on e-mail. The processor was also great. I praise him because he gave great service. Amerisave was referred to me by a friend of mine who had done a refinance with them before. They had very competitive rates, were easy to work with, transparent in the numbers, and really took their time to work with me. I got a traditional vanilla mortgage, so I just had to show full docs, income, how long I've owned my home, and the basic financials. They made it pretty easy for me because they had access to public information. Anything that was public information that they had access to, they didn’t make me go repeat and get, but if it was something that I needed to supply, I supplied it to them.

Their online application could be a little complicated without the use of a sales professional, but once I had somebody engaged on their site, it was relatively easy. They were very good, very knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed or pressured by them. My rep, Paul, was very responsive and answered all my questions. His interaction was great and he had an easygoing style about him. He understood that I was talking to others as well, but he was confident in his own offering. He didn’t panic when I told him that I was obtaining other quotes and wasn’t very salesy, so to speak.

I had two loans, one was a 30-year mortgage at 4.25%, and I had an increasing home equity line of credit within another lender that was climbing upwards to 8%. We consolidated that at 4.75% and AmeriSave was very flexible. They also gave me a lot of choices of rates and lender credit that they were willing to give me to help closing costs. I chose a slightly higher rate than what I was qualified for, but the amount of money towards closing was very good. When it came down to the end of it, I could have taken a quarter of a point lower, but I wouldn't have had as much towards closing cost. We completed the refi in less than 30 days total. I had the full approval from them within two weeks, then it was a matter of picking a closing date. The whole thing was closed in 30 days total and it was the fastest refi I've ever done.

However, within two weeks of the close of my loan, Amerisave sold my loan to Wells Fargo for servicing and they didn’t even call me up to let me know. I just got a letter one day in the mail from Wells Fargo saying, “As of March 1st, we're going to be servicing your loan from Amerisave.” None of the terms changed but because it happened so quickly, it was a bit of a bait-and-switch.

When I was in the process, one of the reasons why I chose Amerisave over others had to do with the fact that they told me that they were not interested in reselling my loan and that they service a very high percentage of the people that they work with. I thought that was good because in six months, I'd get qualified for another refi with them. Then they'd give me credit towards that. I also wanted to keep dealing with them because I had such a good experience with them. But now, the servicer changed. The silver lining in this might be that I'm already a Wells Fargo client and it's easier to transfer dollars from my checking account to my mortgage when I go to pay the it every month because it's already showing up on my online banking.

They answered my questions and when they need something, they contact me right away so we could get the information to them as soon as possible and try to close the loan on time. Everything has been good, especially their website. But sometimes the website kept repeating questions even though we already uploaded the information needed.

The application and the underwriting processes took 60 days. It is a re-finance so it takes a little bit longer. The only thing is they ask for a survey during the middle of the long process, and it is irritating. They send an email that goes, "Please take this survey. How's the service?" And I receive one every week. But, overall, I like the company. I will recommend them. Amerisave's process is very easy. It's streamlined and if you're internet savvy, then it is the way to go. And for the new generation, it should be very convenient.

Everything was done over the computer and whatever they needed in terms of my ability to pay the loan was all done over the internet. I liked that very much and I never had to leave my house. We also signed the docs over the internet. When we closed, they came over and we closed here at the house. I got the interest rate I wanted as promised. They locked me on a rate when the rates were going up. They had 30 days to get it closed and they gave me an extension without costing me any more money. I got a 3.75% and it was great. The loan officer, once he got everything settled with me, as far as the rates and the information he needed on my side, he turned me over to another guy that I talked to. He then walked me through the rest of the loan, gathering things that were needed.

The application and underwriting process took two months because I needed some documentation. There was something to do with Bank of America. Our second loan I had here, the bank did not have the loan security against the property and it took a little time to get that resolved, but it wasn't my fault and it wasn't AmeriSave’s fault. Finally, we got that resolved and then my loan went through. There were three people I worked with. The lender himself and a salesman at Silver Loan and then his coworker. They were a very good, solid company to work with. I'm very satisfied. I would highly recommend them and I would recommend my daughter to use them.

I filled out stuff on the internet and I had four different respondents. I took the first one and I put all the paperwork in for them but Daniel from AmeriSave got a hold of me and their price was lower by about $1,600. It was all in the closing fees. I decided to go with them and I canceled the other one out. But the appraiser kind of screwed up. I happened to be out of town when he came and he misquoted when he said that I had a small area that had some damage to it. And they wanted me to get my plumber out to take a look at that. He said it was damage from the bathroom. That was a bit of a hassle and the process could have been sped up if I were home during the appraiser's visit. But other than that, it went rather well.

But he spent a month dinging around on that. It took a longer time than anticipated because when we first started I was told it would just be a month or so and we'd be done. But it took three months. A lot of that was the timing of everything with the holidays and whatnot. But Daniel was great to work with and the same can be said about Sharon. She kept me up to speed as far as what was going on.

The underwriters, however, was where the stumbling was because they wouldn't take my answer for being truthful. Finally, Sharon talked to her supervisor and her supervisor went down to talk to the underwriters and told them to get the thing going. It moved along but I would have liked to have gotten that a little sooner. But I wasn't in a rush and it turned out good. I got my rate at 2.5% but I've heard that the general market went up after I got to close it. But I have yet to check that out completely.

I'm also in a bit of quandary. I got a letter that said who was taking over the mortgage and I have not heard from them at all. And I got a payment due on the first but I haven't heard who to make a check out to. I think they sent a letter and a note in the email and I had to contact them but I deleted everything and I figured they were going to certainly send something in the mail to me. Other than that, I'd recommend AmeriSave. Their people were pleasant to work with that just makes it a whole lot easier. I ended up having a good experience with them.

Amerisave had no initial fee which really made their total cost come in lower than their competitors. At the time that I had my mortgage, I had one of the highest PMI calculation rates. So since that time, they dropped it so that my rate would drop by about $90 a month, the premium. I got the 30 year fixed loan and the process was just signing the paperwork and got the process started. It was streamlined, so there's no appraisal. I've given them verification of employment and then I waited until everything's settled out and then when everything was done, the closing was arranged. The online application process was straightforward and better than dealing with paperwork, and it made the turnaround a lot faster. I think we got things done in 35 days.

The customer service and loan agent were forthcoming and they explained the process and gave the plusses and minuses to going streamline versus conventional. And they were proactive about the things that needed to be signed and done to get things done as quickly as possible. Front to back, there were no real hitches. And I like the knowledge and follow-up of the person responsible for getting me from there to close.

The only issue that I had was mostly my fault. I didn't understand some of the dynamics of what was going on in the market at that time and the urgency to get the rate locked. And one competitor almost had my business. In the end, I had to fill out some documentation to move my FHA case number to Amerisave. To others asking about Amerisave, just follow the process and then turn around the documents as quickly as possible, if you can close quickly.

We were refinancing our home and then a second property we had we rolled into it. We decided to go to a 15-year to get things paid off and without the interest rate and everything would make the difference, so it all worked out. The process took less than two weeks. The reps were awesome. The people handling all the paperwork kept me updated, emailed me multiple times a day, and let me know right away what was needed -- they have an online service where you can log in and you can see what documents they needed and what we needed to sign. I can’t imagine anything being easier than that.

The rate given to me was great. It turned out that we had been initially paying on a 30-year and once we refinanced and put our other property what was owed on it, we were paying less per month and will be done a lot sooner. Go ahead and do it if you are thinking about it. It does not hurt to check into it and the sooner you get it done, the sooner you save.

And I wanted to get it paid off as soon as I could. Everything was good until we got to the disclosure. I started feeling very uncomfortable because they made me believe one thing but it didn’t work out the way I thought it was going to. They said, “Nothing is written in stone until you sign the papers.” Then once they locked it in, the rates started going up.

I got a thing in the mail from the financial company that I already left about my original closing cost. It was a little bit high but I had made a payment during that time, so it lowered the loan amount. I called a friend and told her what AmeriSave was offering me. She suggested to offer the closing cost as the loan amount. AmeriSave took that into consideration and I expected the loan amount to be the lower amount. Then they said that I might enquire more cost because the disclosure department had picked up the cost of what their fee was and didn’t include it in the closing amount. They guy then said that he didn't know if the disclosure department would charge it. Even though the people that do the underwriting and the disclosure have separate departments, but they knew what’s going on.

I was getting really frustrated but eventually, they said that they'd do whatever I wanted. They did everything exactly as they said they would, but there was no room for flexibility as far as what I offered them. They kept saying that it was because it would extend further which was probably true. So, it wasn’t the greatest experience and I was disappointed with the way they handled things. And although they were very nice and cordial, they need to be more forthright in saying what happened about the disclosure process because not telling me exactly what to expect is injustice. The only reason I knew a little bit more was because my friend explained to me how the disclosure process works. Generally, I wasn’t completely dissatisfied since I got what I wanted but I wasn’t overjoyed either. I’d rather do it with a non-biased company.

I have a very high credit rating and I have a lot of liquid cash in the bank. I talked to Quicken Loans and they told me that I would be able to close the loan within 15 days. Wanting to consolidate and to lower my payments, I refinanced with AmeriSave since their interest rates were better and got the 30-year fixed program. I was promised the same thing that I got from Quicken Loans, that we'd close in 15 days. I kept nothing in secret. I offered them my bank account numbers, my credit rating and whatever they needed to do, do it.

Another reason why I looked at refinancing was that I had the time to do it instead of trying to work and trying to do everything while I'm working. I'm on disability right now and will be going back to work on Monday. AmeriSave went through the whole process then came back and told me that they couldn't finance me because I was not working. I told them I was on disability and that I got a disability check every day. I would also be going back to work. I had enough money in the bank that I could cash if I wanted to but hey were telling me I was a credit risk. They insisted that I was not working and that they going to have to put my wife on the mortgage.

We put my wife on it because I had no problem with that. They then made me start jumping through hoops about everything else. They needed to verify how much money I had in the bank and I asked them why since they kept telling me that the bank had nothing to do with it. They said they had to know my work and that of my wife. They got documentation of my wife’s work and how much she's making. They told me right from the get-go she makes enough that she could cover this loan by herself but they wanted more information. I told them that they made me feel like a bum. I'm 56 years old and worth about pretty close to $750,000 with assets and liquid cash but I couldn't get a stupid loan for $200,000.

I'm already making the payments and never missed a payment in my life. That’s all documented. Now, I'm going to save $4,000 a year by consolidating and they were worried about me being able to make the payment. They didn't even make sense. The loan was closed on February 1st and now I'm trying to get information on how to set this thing up so that my bank could auto pay it. This has been three weeks and I got no information and no contact. I sent emails but got nothing in return. I've yet to call them though. I got to learn about setting up the biweekly payments and I have the paperwork for that but I can't get the paperwork to set up normal payments.

Also, according to the website, the service of AmeriSave was economical but I found out after that they were not. They are just as expensive as anybody else. I would not recommend anyone to go through them. They didn't know what they're doing. My closing agent said that he had problems several times with them, that they were the most unprofessional corporation he had ever dealt with. He had to fax information to them three times before they said they received it.

I entered information in the internet and then after a while, a mortgage company called and emailed me. I talked to them over the phone and some were pressuring me asking my SSN and income without giving any rates. But AmeriSave was very kind. They gave me the estimate of the closing cost, and then I talked to the agent. She replied very fast either email or text and even on a Saturday. I talked to her in person and I felt comfortable. Their rate was very good and the closing cost was very low.

They have a first-class website and you can upload all your documents. If there was anything missing, they will email you. And then you re-upload and not many companies have that feature. But sometimes the process seemed duplicated and then the website had some error or bugs. There was an instance where the SSN and password were entered, and the website rejected it, so she had to log in and call the IT to fix those problems. AmeriSave assigned two agents to me and we all communicated through email. It was a very fast process and very convenient. They sent the lawyer to my home and I just got my check today.

I’ve gone through a number of refinances and purchased a number of homes. I’ve used AmeriSave for many years, they're cheap. I got a 30-year loan with them and their process was pretty simplistic. The online application was very streamlined. The loan specialist and the loan officer were excellent and courteous. Nicky was very professional. We were rolling a loan from a construction loan to a 30-year fixed loan so there were a few extra little things but they were not a problem. She knew her way around and I was very comfortable working with her. And in two weeks, I knew I was approved. Amerisave has always done me a good job and I would recommend them.

AmeriSave's rates and fees were lower than what I found anywhere else, and they gave me incentives. We needed a mortgage for our property and got a 30-year, cash-out refi from them. Everything was online, easy to upload and organized. Their loan processor was very attentive and responsive. Everybody was great. They even let me know when they were taking days off ahead of time. They responded within hours whenever there was an issue or question.

I was looking into refinancing and I found quite a few good reviews online about AmeriSave Mortgage as well as some of the testimonials. They responded very quickly and it was very easy to do business with them. They did everything as well as they could. However, you have to be constantly looking at the web portal for the loan to process itself. Otherwise, you may not respond in a timely manner. If there’s a way that they could connect immediately via email when there’s an update, that would be helpful. Nonetheless, it was very comfortable working with them and I was happy with the rates I was given. In fact, I told a couple of people at work about them.

I saw an ad for refinance and clicked on it. And then I started getting calls from every mortgage company around. They sent an email out and I responded to it. After talking to about three or four of them, the agent, Sean from AmeriSave, seemed genuine and generally interested in what was best for me and my family. It felt more personal with him than with the other companies that called. It wasn’t just business. We talked about different things too. But he actually misquoted what he could do for our rate and after I called the other mortgage agencies, they were all surprised with his rate. I checked back with Sean and he said he made a mistake and that he looked at as just a simple refi. But we needed a cash out option which raised our interest rate a little bit. But he was very upfront, honest and apologetic about the mistake. And I was able to still get a slightly better interest rate than the other mortgage companies. It was the best rate we can get.

And Sean answered everything through email. If we needed something a little more, we just talk by phone. Also, I was surprised getting the refinance was so simple. I provided them the information on our home, what we need and what the outstanding balance was. Then we looked for rates and decided which rate. They looked at our credit rating and went forward from there and got the home assessed, and signed papers. It probably took a couple of weeks when it was all said and done by the time we got the inspection and everything scheduled. All was online. Normally, I have my wife do all of our financial stuff. But Amerisave made it so easy I could do everything myself. It was super efficient. I had a chance to work with a local mortgage company in the process of looking through it. And I felt actually better with Sean from AmeriSave than our local guys. I would give others a 100% confidence that they would get what they wanted with Amerisave.

AmeriSave contacted me after I put in an online inquiry for getting information on refi rates. I wanted to refinance before rates went up because mine was due in 10 years, but in 10 years if I didn’t have the money to pay all that, then I’m sure the terms wouldn’t have been as great as today. I got a call from AmeriSave and they gave me an idea of what they could offer. I filled out a 1003 or did it over the phone. They provided an LE at that point and looked decent. I had another refinance that was in process and I actually had already signed loan docs, so I cancelled that at the last minute right before my three-day rescission period and went with AmeriSave.

At some point, we ran into a hiccup. When the verification of employment came back, my employer did not include all of funds that I get. I had to clarify and provide additional documentation, which I was able to do and then they were able to go ahead and approve it. There were various documentations I had to go online and sign. I was pretty upset because I had cancelled that other deal for this and they did that. I was approved and I had no problem so I was frustrated. I like dealing with Erin, who was the processor. However, the loan officer was absent after the initial conversations and I didn’t want to talk to him anyway because during that process, he implied that I was perhaps lying about me being already approved through another lender and it really upset me because I again cancelled the other deal after signing loan docs and so I was like, “I will send you my loan documents if you’d like.”

It was pretty straightforward and the whole application and underwriting process took about a month. I got a 3.75 and that was better than what I was being offered by Ditech. They were at 4.25. AmeriSave's lending fees were pretty decent as well. At the time, there was an issue for me being the appraisal at $500 for something it was and I was told that the credited 250 for that name was never credited. That 250 was supposed to come out of the lender fees, but they kept it. But I don’t care, it’s fine and I didn’t even think about it. I brought it up at some point, but it was towards the later end of the transaction. I wanted it over with. So, I had already been dealing with the refinance for a long time because again I was with the previous company prior to that and it has been months.

AmeriSave offered a good program. I didn’t mind doing the extra work as far as uploading documents. It might be more difficult process for somebody who’s perhaps not familiar or organized. But overall for me, it was a good experience minus the slight hiccup, which happens all the time and what I enjoyed was again Erin, who was there every step of the way.

AmeriSave's reps were extremely on top of their game and our loan officer was great. They were following up every day by calling in or sending an email and made sure that we got it. They also made sure that we were staying on top of getting the information we needed to get back to them. But then, for some reason, I realized a couple of days after we signed all the documentation that they didn't get the information to do the autopay. We didn't sign anything and we didn't give account numbers.

So, my husband tried to call their customer service at first to get it set up. They had terrible service on the phone. When he was trying to talk to somebody, they put him on hold twice for five minutes each time and dropped the call three times. When he called back, he heard they were having a party in the background. After he told them what happened, the girl finally told him that they don't do autopay and that they have to mail all our checks. So my husband was extremely upset. He asked for a supervisor and they never put him through to one. He then emailed the loan officer who had done the loan for us. He emailed us back and said that they do autopay as he told us during our last of the conversation about payments. He then said he'd get someone to contact us. But that was five days ago and nobody has. So now we're thinking if we just sold our our house to some shyster.

It would be nicer though if right upfront I knew everything that was needed because I sent one of the documents in and the website kept telling me that they needed it still even though Corey and Jeremy could see that they didn't need it.

Amerisave Mortgage was the first to call me and they called within minutes after I did some online thing. Nobody else called me within three days. I talked to a mortgage person and gave her my information then all the signing was done over the computer except for the final. They sent out a mortgage paperwork notary to the house, we sat down with her, and we did the signing within 45 minutes. Their application process is probably the easiest I've ever been involved in doing any house purchasing. It took about 3 weeks, including the underwriting. The whole process was stress-free and seamless, and I was able to do a refinance for 20 years with fixed rate.

Also, the representative I first talked with and then the underwriter who followed up on documentation were very easy to work with, very transparent and had answered all my questions. They seemed to be concerned with the product that they were trying to deliver. I'm happy with the rate and terms and my wife's also happy with them which is most important. I'm very pleased and would deal with them again any time. Amerisave made a most of the time stressful, long winded process very easy.

I had a friend who used AmeriSave and recommended them. I refinanced with them because I got a better rate with them than my previously existing mortgage. I started in November time frame and then we finally closed on the second of February. Mine was probably more complicated than the average refinance ‘cause they had to check on a few things because of some other properties that I own. So I had to gather some information from them. I did all of it online.

The most complicated part of the process was they had to keep digging in to try to find some info on the complexity of the other properties that I own. I co-own with somebody that they needed to verify. That might have been the most detailed and repetitive thing that I had to do. I worked with the original person that I spoke to when I first called them. And then my loan was handed over to someone else. I think I’ve dealt with a total of three people. I felt comfortable with them. The first one whom I spoke to was really good about following up with me on things. By the time the second person took over, most of it was already done. She was having to gather more info to investigate. Jeff was very helpful and proactive about checking in with me. This is probably the fifth mortgage or even more that I’ve done and I don’t think I had too many questions but whenever I had questions, they were helpful. I certainly would recommend them.

I looked into a mortgage when we had a new home purchase. I went with Amerisave because of their interest rate -- it was the lowest I could get with them. I went with a 30 year FHA. In obtaining the mortgage, I just uploaded all the documents and followed up with the loan officer. Then it was transferred over to the loan processor and it was underwritten pretty quickly. The only hang up we had was that there was a documentation that was needed the week before closing after we were approved but that got cleared up within a few days. So, other than that, it was just an easy process. The whole process took a month, from January 8th to February 8th.

However, the website where you go and see the status of your loan was not updated as it should have been. So, the only way that I was able to find out the status of the loan was through the loan processor. Nevertheless, my interaction with their staff was all positive. They were friendly, and they returned calls. They were very easy to deal with. Further, I was more impressed with the honesty. I applied with other lenders and there wasn't a whole lot of honesty as far as the cash closing. Everything was exactly as the loan processor and loan officer told me it would be from the beginning. Working with them was very comfortable. I got a very good rate and very good terms. I'm very pleased with it. I would use them again to purchase another home in the future or refinance. That's why I would recommend.

I chose AmeriSave Mortgage over other lending providers because of the loan officer. He was very professional and patient. The initial man that I spoke to that took all of my information was very patient and that started it off. He obtained all the necessary documents and that gentleman was just as professional and just as informative and patient and helpful. So whenever we came in to something where he wanted more information about something, it didn’t seem like an annoyance because he was so nice about asking for the information and helpful. It’s really about the personal relationship, and not about the company.

The whole application and underwriting process took a little over 30 days, but I asked for the closing to be pushed back. I wanted it to be towards the end of a month so I could pay less on interest or pro-rated interest and they were ready to go sooner than I was. I’m happy and my rate was reduced by over 2%. I was in a jumbo and I went down to a conforming loan, but I was very close in terms of almost being at whatever the amount is that you’re able to convert into a conforming loan. I only had to come up with a few thousand dollars and the gentleman had pointed out.

However, there were a couple typos on some of the paperwork such as the original purchase price of the house. But other than that, everything went very well.

We would email each other what they requested and if I had any questions they would get back to me within a half hour via email. In our phone conversation, they were very polite as well. I had to do the original application and send them documentation that they requested. They sent me disclosures which had to be done and they notified me when they requested other documentation from me. I met with the appraiser and got the reports.

The process wasn’t too bad. There was numerous pages but if you’re going for a mortgage you can expect that. I also had the pre-approval right away with the application. But tor the underwriting, they wanted a commitment letter weeks before the closing and it seemed like they got the approval and commitment letter a week before.

However, I did the application with Ken and then he passed it off to Matt. But some of the things that were sent to Ken, which were on his email, weren’t shared to Matt. Matt had to go retrieve them from him. If there was just one person involved it would’ve been a lot better and there would be better communication. Also, they were getting five different disclosures and maybe they should limit that. You have to download to let them know that you got it but we were closing disclosure and it was like four days ahead of time. Those things aside, they worked with me to get the mortgage approved. The rates were decent and overall, AmeriSave was good. I even steered someone towards AmeriSave to help him.
