My experience with the reverse mortgage was a nightmare. I was in the process of buying my own insurance and they bullied me into signing up. They shouldn’t do that. They said I could not back out. I'm a single woman and I’m 81 years old. I shouldn't have to be bullied into anything.

The rep was very nice and helpful. I was impressed with his knowledge, friendliness and courtesy. He was able to answer every question I asked and explained everything very well. The only problem I have is with the government being slow. American Advisors Group has done right what they said they were gonna do when they said they were going to do it. But with the government, it's two steps forward, one step back.

I had already done some research on exactly what a reverse mortgage was and we also had to take a counseling session with the financial service to make sure we understood what it was. But it was good to have somebody walk us through it. Because even I was familiar, other people get into it without understanding what it is. Carrie has been great. She's a good representative and very helpful. Everything has been timely with AAG. I got a call from the appraiser yesterday so that was on schedule.

We're still working with the rep from American Advisors Group. He’s very knowledgeable and sends me to the right people. The only problem we're having is getting documents to them because they only use PDF files and we send them out sometimes in different kinds of files. But other than that, we have a very good working relationship.

We've done the HECM counseling and it was worthwhile. The AAG rep that I dealt with was not very seasoned in her job. A lot of mistakes have been made and there have been some issues with follow-up. She told us some stuff that was incorrect. We knew after reading some other information and through counseling that what she told us was incorrect. So we challenged her and she came back a couple of days later and admitted she was incorrect. She doesn't cross her t's and dot her i's because she sent our paperwork for us to sign so that we can move on to the appraisal process, but our names were listed incorrectly. That was on Monday and we're just now getting the new documents to sign. So we're even further behind on getting this process rolling. She's been kind. But it'd be helpful when you have somebody new to have a supervisor directly supervise that person.

When I started talking to AAG and working with them, they were awesome people. My loan officer has been helping me all the way through this process and trying to get everything done. He is awesome. I've had a very good experience with AAG. They have been very helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs to have a reverse mortgage.

I'm going through the process now and the rep is doing his job. I also took a class and they explained about the reverse mortgage and what it's for and how it works.

Jamelia was straightforward and she wasn't trying to push anything over on me. Their competitors offered me the night and the day to go with them. But she didn't offer me anything like that. Right now, I'm waiting for the appraisal. AAG notified them on Friday, and I'm waiting for them to call. Overall, I like AAG's product. There's no service charge. The last two mortgages I had, the companies had 4,000 plus service charges on them.

Scott worked with me, but he worked a lot with my son, Ken, because Ken seemed to understand it better than I did. We got the counseling and the lady came and I signed my name about 50 times. I didn't take this decision lightly. But so far, it's okay with me. The process has been slow-going. A couple of times AAG called Ken back and told him they had to do things over. Then they got it straight. But I have no idea when it will close or when the money will come through.

I was going to try with AAG about a year and a half ago, but they had to have a cosigner. Now, they don't have to have a cosigner. So, I read the credentials and qualifications and decided to call. The AAG rep I worked with was all right. But he forgot to tell me about the consultants needing his website address. I had to make an extra phone call, but it only took a minute.

The rep was very professional and knew what he was doing. He knew what he was talking about as well as his product and got the information out to me right away.

I talked to Carrie from AAG over the phone and she was friendly.

They were very professional and thorough on everything. They explained everything well. So we're pleased with them.

Their customer service team seemed to be really good. The process going through them seems to be doing okay. Yesterday, they came out and notarized my signing of the papers. The experience has been okay. Has a lot of fees that are expensive. But I've gotten good feedback from them.

The rep I worked with was really smart, easy to talk to and knew how to do everything. He's the best guy I ever talked to regarding mortgages. I'm real happy with AAG.

I dealt with the main representative of AAG. Then I did have a counseling session with Credit.org for the counseling session. I liked the person who did it. I've never done it before, but she explained it well. I really liked her. Her voice was very easy to hear. AAG has been great with me. This is probably the cleanest refinance I've ever gone through. It's really been really easy to deal with. I'd tell others to check them out because they were very explanatory. They explained things really well to me more than 10 times to make sure that I knew what it was and what I was getting into. So, I appreciated that.

The AAG rep I work with keeps in touch and answers all my questions.

They're a good company. The rep I worked with was fine.

The AAG representative has been excellent. I just finished the counseling the other day, and that went well and very professionally. My bank had said there's nothing they could do for me to help lower my house payment, so I went online and was looking. I was answering questions, and I hadn't even finished the questionnaire when AAG called. I talked to this woman and I felt better about everything.

AAG seemed to be the most responsive and the most professional as far as what their responses were and how they conducted providing the information. So far, I have complete confidence that they have provided me with the information that I needed, that they are stand-up, and that they will do what they say they're going to do.

Our experience with them has been wonderful. We're waiting for the notary to call us and everything's moving along very quickly. Janet's been awesome. I gave her a hard time at first. I just wanted information. Once we looked at it, I called her back and she has just been Johnny-on-the-spot.

I had to go through all those papers, get them signed and sent back. It's been hard. The process is very confusing and overwhelming. But Lindsey has been awesome. She talks me down when I have anxiety attacks. She has been right there for me if I need her. I can pick up the phone and call her and she is working with me every step of the way through the process.

Raymond was very helpful. He's keeping in contact with me. I hear from him just about every other day. And everybody else that's affiliated with AAG is very helpful, too. I'm satisfied with AAG.

I've got to cancel my counseling appointment because they expected some documentation from me and I didn't know they needed it until I was in Indiana and not anywhere near my house. I'm not sure why they need them. This is a telephone constant consultation and they want a photo ID. But it's moving along. They've got a nice sales rep and we get along. Also, I don't have a problem with their terms or the information they've provided.

My loan counselor was pretty helpful. She called me a handful of times and put me in touch with the counseling people that tell you all about the program. She was very responsive. I've had other loan companies that didn't even return my call.

I'm still working with AAG. It's a lot of paperwork, and I'm not very good with mine. However, the rep has been very helpful, and all of the problems that have occurred have been my own.

The loan officer was very thorough and professional, but the process seems to be a little slow. We're waiting for the appraisal. Apart from that, counseling went well and the lady I worked with was good.

AAG had us talk to a consumer company that explained the whole process to us then they went over everything. They quizzed us to make sure that we were listening to what the rep was saying and we got it all. We have an appraisal being done on Wednesday on our house, and we haven't completely signed the papers and see if we're even gonna be able to go through with it. However, we're pleased with what we've got so far.

I'm pleased with the way things have been going. The rep, Mike, has been very nice, and they're all considerate. Mike had a time getting somebody to come out and take the information they needed, then finally, the lady came this morning and took some stuff. She was very courteous and nice.

AAG knows what they're doing, and William, the loan officer that I've been dealing with, is clear evidence of that. I haven't received anything but wonderful attention from him, and he's been very attentive in explaining everything. However, it's taking more time than I would have imagined and I've had to expend a lot of money, including for the counseling. It’s been one thing after the other and it nearly depleted my savings trying to obtain this. They just charged me for the appraisal on Monday, and it's supposed to be done by the 27th at my convenience, but nobody's called me to schedule a time.

The representative was wonderful and the person who called me for counseling was good, but I don't know exactly what the abbreviation for all of the technical loan factors mean. Other than that, AAG was honest and told me everything. There wasn't any cover-up and I really liked that. I'm happy with the rates too. It’s inflating rapidly in value where I live and after I die, AAG will sell the house acreage for a good amount of money. It was very appropriate at this time. The only problem I have is, since I've decided to do a reverse mortgage, I have had several people trying to convince me to go with them instead of the first one I chose. It's difficult. I don't know how it got out. If I could change anything, I'd like to get it over with as soon as possible so I wouldn't have to worry with this anymore.

The process was easy, and the rep, Vanessa, was great. She's down to earth.

By law, we had to have some type of counseling to make sure that a reverse mortgage was the right move for us. AAG set us up with a counselor to help us make the decision and that was the biggest thing. We weren't familiar with this other than my brother having gone through his HECM mortgage. We were impressed with our loan officer's knowledge of this program, his explanations and narrative on what the benefits would be, making sure we got paperwork in the mail that explained things, and that we read through and understood. He's been very receptive to his interactions with us.

At first, I was a bit uncomfortable with the rep, because it almost seemed like she might have been new at it, but after the second call with her, she had everything more together then. However, everything seems to be moving slower than I expected. I turned in all the paperwork and signed everything already. I'm waiting for an appraiser to come out and I haven't heard anything in over a week now, not even a little email saying that it's in the works. Although the rep said it went to underwriting, I don't know how long underwriting takes and she didn't say either. Other than that, I'm up in the air. I don't know what's going on and nobody's called me. I narrowed down my options to AAG and ARLO, and AAG came across as a bit more professional, but I'm beginning to wonder if I should go with ARLO.

I didn't expect the experience to be so complicated and it took time. It's amazing all the information and stuff they need. But otherwise, I had no problems with the gentleman I worked with. He was nice.

We called AAG and were helped right away. The rep answered our questions and got us a quote right away. He was respectful and polite.

The rep I work with is very helpful. Whatever I needed, he got right on the case and did what I needed to get done. I hope AAG won't switch him until he's done with me. The lady that came over with the paperwork for the notary was very nice as well. The process has been really fast, so far, for what they're doing.

So far, working with AAG has been pretty comfortable. I'm now going into the next phase of coming down and signing the paperwork. Our loan officer, Dino, has been keeping up with everything. He calls and takes care of his business.

The progress with AAG has been pretty easy. I can't say that I'm not concerned or worried or thinking, “I've already spent about $800.” When you're talking about having a loan, it's because you want to pay off some debt, and not encounter more debt. You don't know if it's even going to happen. So, I certainly have concerns, but I am happy with the way it is, so far.

The woman that helps me is really nice. She answers the phone right away anytime I call her and answers any questions I have. But I'm a little disappointed that the process isn't going faster. The appraisal seems to be taking a while.

I shut down on AAG quickly, but I'm going to reopen for more information because I want to see what the whole ballgame is with this reverse mortgage. I had a September 1st appointment set up to talk to Marybeth. I spoke with Mark, too. I was supposed to set up a time where these two groups of people could meet with me and my wife on the phone to go over the reverse mortgage. At that time, my wife wasn't in favor but after I discussed with her what it's all about, she agreed to go along with it.

The AAG rep was very informative and easy to talk to, and the process of the consultation took approximately 30 minutes. It was easy.

Working with AAG has been good. I've been talking with Andrew and he explained to me what was going on and had some people counsel me. It all sounds real good to me and I'm excited about getting started. He said he's gonna take me through the whole thing and that he will be with me every step of the way. Andrew treated me right. He was really courteous and real nice to me, so I'm thinking everything's gonna be all right. I would just like to get as much money from my house as I can.

Angel was the rep I started with and she has helped me all along. She answered questions, told me what to expect, and went over everything there is to it. She's very knowledgeable and very thorough. Also, she repeats things a lot, which is good, because you miss a lot of things in conversations. AAG is what I expect them to be.

I felt very comfortable with the gentleman from AAG that responded to us when we were shopping around. He was so helpful, patient, and didn't talk too fast. Also, the telephone interview with the person that we needed to counsel with was extremely helpful. AAG gives an overwhelming amount of information to consider before anyone does this. It was a good match for us and it continues to be because we live in California and our equity has improved enough. We're delighted that we can do a reverse mortgage again and take care of the things that we need to do around the home now.

They've all been really helpful and the guy we're working with is always upbeat and great. He said we can call him anytime we want and he's been very great in giving us information when we ask. I'd recommend AAG to anybody who was asking.

They're good people and they're trying to do right. I don't have much of an education. I got a third-grade education, but they sat down and they explained everything to me. If I would die, how long the house can sit empty, it can't sit empty for more than 12 months or they would take it. They were really good about that. I had questions and they answered. There was a guy on the phone and he was explaining a lot of it to me. I then had the closing, I'm just waiting on an appraisal before they give me my money. They were supposed to have somebody out here a week ago to appraise my house but they said they were all busy. I'm completely satisfied with AAG if they hurry up and get this appraiser out here.

The rep I worked with was great. I was comfortable with him. I was impressed with his attitude and the way he talks and explains everything to you. He acts like a friend. You feel like you know him already. AAG is a good company to go with.

The people that I've talked to over the phone seemed to be okay. But we had another person that came to the house to fill out some documents. Didn't seem to quite know what was going on and that was irritating. That could have gone a lot smoother, but we got to it.

The loan officer was a very lovely lady. She explained to me what a reverse mortgage was gonna be and that will be the solution for me, because the payments are higher than what I get. She took the time to explain things. Then I had the counseling in Spanish. With the lady that came to sign the papers, in Spanish too.

The rep from AAG whom I worked with was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable, caring, just a great person in general from what I've talked to her on the phone, and the emails that we've been going back and forth with. Any questions I have, she answers me the same day, so I don't have to wait. During a process like this, definitely, the quicker the better, especially when they're willing to sit with you and talk to you about it, "This is what we're doing. This is the process". So, that helps out a lot. She's been knowledgeable with the different people like the counsel that we had to get in touch with for the counseling session before we started all of this. It's just wonderful.

The AAG guy was really nice when I called. He was very nice and easy talking. All the good stuff when you talk to somebody, you feel them out and see how they are and I got a good sense of him. He understood everything that I had in mind. When he was talking about how they could help in that area, he was very informative with everything.

We're still working with AAG. We've had the mortgage and we're going for a refi on it and we're happy with what's going on. The rep we're working with has been doing a great job.

In talking to the different people, I felt more comfortable with AAG. I had on hand all the income documents and the counseling with reinforcement to what the loan agent had told me was good. The loan agent was very informative and very direct as far as telling me everything I needed to know to make a decision and keeping me apprised of anything that came up.

The rep was excellent. But I got confused looking at these things that she sent out here to me and then she told me I was gonna have to talk to somebody for an hour on counseling over the phone. I didn't quite understand everything that was going on in the process. I need to sit down and talk to somebody face to face, but the rep couldn't offer me anybody that could come out here and sit down with me on a one to one basis. AAG said it all had to be done on the phone.

I called three different companies and the first few guys sounded like they were trying to sell me a used car. Everything was super fast. But when I talked to Jason from AAG, he took all the time in the world to explain things. Nothing was a rush. He didn't take for granted that I knew anything. I really liked the way he dealt with me on the phone. I felt comfortable with him. If I had a problem, I would call him and he’d tell me what to do. He didn't leave me hanging. So far, the process has been real easy. There's no stress at all.

AAG was the very best and I decided to do a reverse mortgage with them. The agent that worked with me, Simon, was wonderful and told me all about it. She would call me and planned out things about this and that. We went through the counseling part of it then the gentleman called and told us all about it, asked us a lot of questions, and wanted to make sure we understood what we were doing. It's been a super deal, which is better than I expected.

I've had a gazillion people contact me about a reverse mortgage and AAG was the first one that really sounded like I wanted to do business with. So far, everything's been pretty good with them. There was a lot of paperwork that I had to go through and since I'm not on a computer, everything had to be sent to them and vice versa. That slowed the process up a little bit and some of the stuff was duplicate and triplicate of what you really needed. But if you got to have that stuff, you got to have that stuff.

It's been almost a week and I don't know what's going on. I have not heard anything about my appraisal and I've already paid for that. American Advisors Group was supposed to be a reputable place but I'm not very happy with them right now. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow, I'm going to opt out of this and get my money back because this is ridiculous. I'm out almost $700 and I still haven't gotten the loan.

So far, I'm happy with the process. I'm getting more than I went into it looking for. Joe, the loan officer, has been a godsend. He’s like the big brother. I would highly recommend AAG.

They were great at communication and all the details. Everything's fine with my experience with them.

I'm pleased with everything and I greatly appreciate it as a support factor for senior citizens. Sometimes, you wonder how something is going to work out but I'm confident with this.

I started the process at the end of July and the projected closing date is in October, which seems like it's entirely too long because other places advertising on TV and radio say two weeks. But other than that, I'm satisfied so far with my experience.

The rep we work with has been real helpful. She answers my questions, she’s quick to get back, and she doesn’t mind repeating herself. The process is sometimes a little confusing and overwhelming if you're not used to doing DocuSign or eSign or that sort of thing but we've muddled through it and we are okay.

I wasn’t expecting the expense of everything that they're gonna do, like the inspection of the house. But I just talked to a rep, Mark, about the inspection. He called and we came to an agreement that they're gonna incorporate half of it into the loan and I’ll pay the other half. Everything has been going pretty good so far.

Their rep Shannon was a very positive person. She was upfront, knowledgeable and personable. She got all the information that I need across. Any question I asked, she answered before asked. I also talked to William with counselling. They're right to the point and everything was good.

I'm pretty comfortable working with AAG so far. They answer the phone. Give them time and see what you think.

AAG has done wonderfully. Their rep Marcia has helped with every little detail. All I have to do is call her and she's right on top of it and calls me back. I don't have to wait on a phone call.

So far things have been good with AAG. But, they overload everybody with information.

I talked with the AAG agent in New York and we got everything rolling. I really appreciate him. He's friendly, and he explained everything to me. I really appreciate his attitude and how he tried to help me and how he explained to me what a reverse mortgage means. He didn't try to push anything on me and left the decision up to me. He is one of the best. I'm very satisfied with the way AAG worked with me.

I've been very pleased with AAG. They sent me a huge package of things to read and I have read said through 11 pages which said nothing about reverse mortgages. My rep Evan called back this morning to assure me that I was going to get something else in the mail by Friday that will say something about reverse mortgages. He's a very kind young salesman. I've been very satisfied with the communication. If you have no remaining family or heirs, use the money in your house for yourselves and your animals.

AAG looks like they have the best deal so far. We just executed some documents in DocuSign and we got the counseling finished. My rep Kaitlyn has been great but if AAG could give the reps more authority to give customers a better deal, that would be an improvement.

Thus far, I'm very pleased with AAG because we're in contact. If I have any questions that I failed to ask during the initial call, I'm pleased that I can call back and talk to a live person who can walk me through it very much. The rep I've been assigned to has been very helpful.

Everything has been really nice and easy so far with AAG. It’s one of the best routes to go.

So far, my experience with AAG has been good.

We started off pretty good with the AAG rep. She pulled the credit report. Then they sent over the information for me to sign and do the counseling. Then I've left five messages 'cause I had a few questions before I went forward, but I can't get a return phone call. I haven't heard back from anybody. I've given up. I've stopped calling. I figure after five messages, they don't wanna call me back, they probably don't wanna do business with me.

The AAG rep was very helpful. I told him I was going to get a couple of bids and he gave me his numbers. I got the other person's numbers, we talked, and I went with AAG. I got good rates and terms. I just reviewed it with one of their specialists and I'm going to stay put with what I have. I don't need any more money out. I'm happy with what I have. Every time I called, AAG has been helpful, and they get somebody who can help me and I've had all my questions answered, whether I should refinance or not because they gave me the information. So, I'm pleased.

I was approved for the reverse mortgage where it doesn’t cost me to get it done through FFA and the rep is supposed to follow-up with me on it. There are things I don’t understand about it like credit reports but the experience with American Advisors Group has been good so far. They’re not pushing you but you’re getting questions asked that you don’t think about when you’re on the phone. When sit down and talk to someone, things come to mind and I’d rather do that. I like to talk in person to people. You get vibes and feelings whether it's the right thing to do or not.

The rep was very forthcoming and full of information. I had to go to a little class thing and AAG did a summary of what's going on with it. People should go with them.

I was very happy with my rep at AAG. He was very understanding and he explained everything I didn't understand. I would recommend him highly to anybody. He was very easy to talk to in terms of getting what information I needed and I was very comfortable with him. Everything was right on and the information that he needed, I got.

AAG had a high rating with the Better Business Bureau. Plus, there was an article about the the best reverse mortgages and AAG was right up there. When I called them, I talked to Peter and he looked up our loan. He told me that we could refinance, get 18,000 cash, and a lower interest rate. He was great, he called back, and he kept track of everything. I didn't know how old he was but at that time, I felt like I was talking to a young slick guy on the way up. He was also very friendly and thoughtful when he called.

AAG's rep was extremely helpful. We are not 100% positive we're going with the program but we're going through the motions. Everything's been good and we're very satisfied.

We've had a wonderful experience with AAG. Their people have been very kind and understanding. They are very concerned and they are willing to work with us. Maureen is our rep and she is very nice. She's very considerate and she follows through on things. We're hoping things will go on through as there are glitches all the way along the road. Other than that, AAG is easy to work with and everything is fine.

I had a very deep concern about the closing costs and I tried to find out what that would be. It turned out to be about half of what AAG was asking. I was told that there were different activities involved to do the closing costs. I already sold one or two homes and have done several closing costs. I cannot see why there would be any drastic difference as there was. The closing cost could be 3, 4, $5,000. AAG's was a total of $14,000. $4,000 was the FHA or weather insurance that would be going on the policy. There was a little bit too much cost there so I decided not to go. That aside, AAG's customer service was very polite and informative. But I wouldn’t recommend AAG to somebody else.

Customer service did a really good job of explaining some of the things that I needed to do and needed to consider. They answered all my questions and they asked me a lot of questions. We exchanged information back and forth several times. Laura was the lady that I dealt with from the beginning. She did her job very well and she offered me some guideline work. The only thing was there was an awful lot of paperwork.

The representative was very communicative, friendly, and kind. I'm really busy and if I don't call him when he asked me to, he calls me. He's good about following up.

Everything's been going pretty good until just this week. AAG said that an appraiser would come on approximately the 19th but he didn't. I talked to the guy that’s working with me and he said he'd try to find out. I sent him another email today asking if he had heard anything because this is my third day to wait. I've got other things I could and should be doing so I'm not really happy. But I want to get this done, so I'm sitting here, waiting. I understand that right now, there's a lot of people selling and doing things with their homes, and the appraisers are backed up.

I'm pleased with AAG so far. It's taken a long time, but we're getting there. The lady I worked with, Angela, was an asset to AAG.

We've had our counseling time, and that went quite well. The AAG rep seemed to know what she was talking about. She answered all of our questions, no matter how stupid they seemed to be at the time. We're not numbers people, so when it came to a large group of numbers, we wanted to find out exactly what those numbers meant. She explained all of that to us. For now, we're quite satisfied.

I'm comfortable with AAG. They have done well. Mike, my rep, has been good.

I really like my loan officer, Kyle. I ask a lot of questions and he had been so good that he did not tell me anything that I did not already know or that I hadn't already discussed. He's been great as far as explaining everything thoroughly. Normally, I hear from him after each thing that happens, like the counseling. I did all my signing with a notary on Saturday and he may not have called me because he may not have it back yet.

I've had a reverse mortgage before and decided it was time to go with a Jumbo reverse mortgage. I had somebody that was gonna help me with it but because of the COVID, she wasn't able to come to my home. I was disappointed with that, so I decided to look for someone else. I've watched AAG's ads almost every day, so I decided, “Okay, let's go with AAG.” Someone said that they would come to my home. They live close to where I live, so it was very convenient.

AAG works with you. I've been with them for five years now. My experience was good and it's the reason I refinanced with them. The money came in right.

AAG forwarded a packet and a DVD and I reviewed that. I also did some online research and spoke to some of their reps, live. Tony, based in the Kennesaw office, was excellent. We're still in the processes of things and still making decisions, but so far, so good. AAG performed their service well. At first, before they even sent the packet, they were calling, leaving messages, and it was annoying. However, once things got more focused and we got an individual that we were speaking with, it was an a lot better experience.

I'm happy with the rep, Bill. I enjoyed working with him. He seemed to do better than the downtown office because I would get this stuff on email saying, "Why haven't you done this?" I call him, and it's already been done. He's been very good in clearing the way through all this morass of fee and signings.

American Advisors Group has been absolutely wonderful and it was a pleasure to talking with them. You don't understand so much of the process when you don't do this kind of stuff. There are so many different fees for this and that so you end up asking what that is for. That gets frustrating. You want to make sure that you're dealing with a loan advisor that's going to be patient with you and give you the information that you need in order to make a proper decision. It's hard on both sides because it's something that AAG deals with all the time and I don't so I would like things explained to me and I frustrate people. The loan advisor tried to explain things to me. She has a very strong personality type but she's okay.

I already had my counseling and signed a bunch of papers. I’m waiting for AAG to call me now. So far, so good.

I love my representative, Angel. She was very sweet and helpful in working with me. So far, the process has been good. I'm having a hard time getting my stuff together and getting the paperwork was a little bit stressful. But I'm getting there.

I did the initial phone call, and they've called back, and we've had that meeting to make sure that my mother-in-law knows what was going on. So it's been real good. They made everything very convenient for me to have the phone call with my mother-in-law at her house at the time scheduled that I could be there with her. The process has gone quickly.

AAG sent me through a debt counseling service and it greatly helped me understand the different aspects of the loan. It was very helpful and thought-provoking. I really appreciated it. The person I'm dealing with at AA&G has been tremendous in giving me information and helping me and guiding me through this process. She knows my age and I appreciate her taking time to understand that I stumble around my words. She's been so patient and kind. She has been wonderful throughout this whole process.

My rep is Cindy and she's been excellent. She was pleasant and on time. She was very knowledgeable and told me everything I needed to know. She also answered all my questions. Everything was done very well. Cindy handled it very well. AAG has been a very good company to work with. I would recommend them to anybody else who's looking to do a reverse mortgage.

We haven't finished the process with AAG yet but so far, it's been fine. They haven't badgered me and they've called at appropriate times. We are going to call them today to try and finalize the whole process.

I appreciated the knowledge that I got from Michael, the gentleman who was helping me. All the information I've gotten that I need to do has been very helpful. It's been explained to me step, after step, after step, what's going to happen in the future. That's helped me a lot. I'm a rather organized person so I like to know what's coming. He has been extremely kind and I've enjoyed talking with him. I like his honesty and straightforwardness. So far, the experience with AAG has been rather painless. There could be less stuff in the mail though.

I have limited income, and getting a reverse mortgage would take care of some bills and make me have more income. I signed up with American Advisors Group, and their customer care has been very good.

My experience with my loan officer was good till the end then I found out she had lied to me and manipulated me. She told me that government guidelines say that they couldn't have a full blown appraisal on my home. Part of the reason we were doing the reverse mortgage was to get a little cash out so I could take my wife to where she was born and came over when she was five. The appraisal on the home had a lot to do with that because the more it was worth, the more we got out.

The rep explained everything that needed explaining and answered all my questions. I'm still anxious how the application’s going though. I expected to hear from AAG last week but I didn't. But I would recommend that others start with AAG, at least. I did some research and ratings were pretty high.

The rep was terrific. It was marvelous experience and I highly recommend AAG to anyone.

Our experience was pretty good but before they make a call, they need to make sure a notary is available.

The reps at AAG were excellent. We did a reverse mortgage because it is cheaper and the interest rate doesn't grow as much as the one I have now. The one I have now goes all the way up to 13%.

AAG has done a great job. The rep I work with, Steve, has been very pleasant, very knowledgeable and he keeps me up to date on everything.

So far, my experience with AAG has been good. It's moving at a pretty good clip. The rep is wonderful. She's very personable and really nice. She's always very prompt in getting back to me. AAG has done a very good job.

The fees that they want to charge are way exorbitant. I've just decided that I'm not going to do it. It's not going to be a good idea for me. I can still afford my mortgage payment. I'm just going to have to keep on working. But the experience with the AAG rep was good. I liked him.

I'm about halfway through the process with American Advisors, but so far, it’s wonderful.

We just finished building a house and we paid for it out of pocket, and we were trying to get some equity out of it and not want to make any payments back. We don't plan to leave anything for our heirs but just trying to be comfortable in our senior citizen days. We finished the application for reverse mortgage with American Advisors Group and we're looking forward to the next phases of the process. Our loan officer is great. I loved him. We started with another company, Longbridge, but that relationship went south in a hurry. I've heard that AAG might take longer than some other companies, but I'm willing to wait for their excellent communication and personal attention to us, which is very important to me.

AAG's reps were great. Their service seemed to be pretty good all in all. We ended up going with Liberty. The numbers worked out. AAG was really close though. There were some other companies that were not even interested. They advertised, but they didn’t want to really talk to us.

My loan rep seems really nice and helpful. The counseling went pretty smoothly although I didn't really know what was going on. A dude just showed up at my house and went through a stack of papers. I'm happy with AAG on the whole. I'm just waiting for some more information from Social Security.

American Advisors Group sent me to counseling, which made the reverse mortgage very clear, and it worked out well. I used to work in real estate and they really clarified and gave me a heads-up on the financial part of it. Todd from AAG was great as well. I'm pretty computer illiterate and he was really taking his time in trying to help me through the computer part of the process. He was always very honest with me about whatever. I got a fax, his email, and I've got him on the telephone too. He’s California and I'm in South Carolina, so we have a time difference. But any questions I've had, I've had while I've had him on the phone and his response was immediate.

I'm currently still in the process with American Advisors Group. They gave me some counseling and that was good. Their agent was perfect and I liked how patient she was. She was also very informative. AAG is worth looking into.

Working with AAG has been pretty good. They explained to me all the ins and outs. It kind of fit what I was already thinking. I didn't have anybody to leave the house to and I figured that a reverse mortgage would be the best way to do things. AAG gave me some suggestions. I'm old enough to get the tax relief from the property taxes. They told me what I can save and how much money I can have if I do certain things like paying off bills.

AAG sounded like a good company and they had a good referral. They explained how a reverse mortgage works. They told me that I would still own my home and I could actually still sell it on my own. They also recommended a course to attend that was the certification with the loan advisor. My loan rep was Wayne and he really knew his material. I was very comfortable working with him and he told me I was free to call him at any time. The process with AAG is still ongoing but so far, everything is very informative.

American Advisors Group had what I needed. Joel talked like he was very concerned and that he could make my life easier. Because I had some major things go wrong that I had to have fixed on my house. And I had to get the best loan I could, which was a Discover loan. But that interest rate is 12.99. Joel said that he could offer me one that was down three points. AAG also said that I could get 50,000 and that would be held. I could use whatever I needed up to that point, and that I could make payments whatever I wanted and whatever I could pay. I could make payments like that to pay it back. And that would be on my record, so that if I die and I give my daughter my house, then she would take over that. I would like to make sure that I have backup in case something else major happens.

The rep was very nice, informative, and answered all the questions I had about the job she should've done. The certification company was slow on getting stuff done, but other than that, it's fine. American Advisors Group is very simple and direct, and so far, met all my needs.

American Advisors Group is fast in getting everything out and seem to take care of everything good.

The rep did a fine job. She told me what I needed to do and how to do it so the process has been very smooth. My only problem during the pandemic is a drive-by assessor. So, I'm not positive they got 100%. It came back high anyway. Other than that, American Advisors Group did what needed to be done and was very professional.

Everything's going okay with the process. I had the notary here today and she was really cool. I liked her. Also, my loan officer is so sweet and she helps me understand everything.

I was trying to get a loan for a refinance and nobody gave it to me but AAG. They were telling me about how a reverse mortgage would help me out. If I go with it, I wouldn't have to pay my mortgage unless I leave this world, and that the house is refinanced or sold to my kids. When I'd call, the agent was always there to answer my questions. What I’m into, she was trying to help me out in every way that she could. I liked her kindness and the way she talked to people. I also felt comfortable with her.

I looked up the reviews, the rating and the number of reverse mortgages that AAG had done, and they came out on top on all three of them. For me, it was a no-brainer to choose them. We did counseling two weeks ago and it was good. We had done so much research too. There were some pamphlets that had been sent over with the information, and it specifically said, "You don't need to read these..." but we read them anyway. It answered most of our questions, but we still had some and they can’t be answered until we have the appraisal.

We were impressed with the loan officer's patience and his willingness to answer any and all questions, his knowledge of how the process worked, his reassurance about the process when we might have had some issues or questions, and his competence. We're still waiting for the appraisal part of it to be completed. We understand things take time and we can always use COVID as an excuse. But we got all the stuff we needed in, and the whole appraisal process is now two weeks later than we’re told it would be, so that is frustrating. It would be nice to have that be a smoother process. Nonetheless, if we knew someone who was looking to check out a reverse mortgage, we would recommend AAG.

I wish the rep would give me a heads up every week as far as where we are at with this process. He called late on a Friday for something, and it's like, “I can't put this information together for you right now.” There's a two-hour time lag ‘cause he's in California. I also didn't get a real heads up on the appraisal in the fact that this person who was arranging it called and said, “Well, are you okay taking a lot of pictures and sending them off to the appraiser because of the COVID?” It's like, “No, I'm not gonna do his work. Find somebody with a mask and a shot in his arm and then come in and do your whole damn job. I'm not paying 565 for somebody to look at pictures while he's sitting in his pajamas that I've done all the work for.”

I'm comfortable working with AAG. I'm just not happy with the length of time that it takes to get an appraiser out. I've been waiting for three or four weeks since I started.

Counseling went well. The rep is doing a great job too. I like him. If something happens with the title, AAG will stay with it to get it straightened out so this mortgage will be successful. They've done the appraisal, and it was successful as far as what they appraised the home for, but HUD for some reason wants another appraisal. Right now, we're waiting on the appraisal to be done and to find out what happens.

My sister and my brother had done AAG and they told me about it. I did it too and I'm satisfied in some ways and dissatisfied in some ways. It’s just not going like I thought it would be going. They call me for information and I send it through. They would then call again for some more information. It’s been a headache. It’s been one thing after another. I thought the process would have been through by now but it’s still going on. I'm still waiting. Other than that, the service is pretty good.

I called AAG and spoke to a rep who impressed me with his knowledge. Then, they had a counselor and he called. We spent a couple of hours together and they explained the reverse mortgage totally. It was great. I also talked it over with my daughter and she has a husband with a graduate finance degree, and he agreed.

American Advisors Group is known to be one of the top providers. I'm very comfortable with them. So far, everything is going fine. My rep is very helpful and informative. I'm in the mid-stage of the process right now. The appraiser is done and I'm waiting to get the appraisal back.

AAG makes you feel comfortable and they're very detailed. My grandmother had taken another reverse mortgage out in '17 and they were really good people, too. But she tried it again 12 months ago and this guy just took her for a run. Then, we got ahold of the card for AAG and we called this guy, Phil. So far, he has been phenomenal and he is even better than the first one she got all the way in '17. She is highly pleased with his service and we're happy. I'm ready to take business cards and pass them out to anybody who's elderly that needs some help because he's a very good representative of AAG.

I have a great loan rep. He stays in touch and keeps me informed. I'm done with the counseling. I wasted time but it was okay. On the whole, everything is just with AAG. They tell me what I need to do and I do it.

AAG has been super good to deal with. They answered everything, plain and simple. However long it took, they were going to take the time to explain the reverse mortgage in great detail.

The process at AAG has been pretty smooth so far. I’m waiting for somebody to give us an appraisal.

I liked the customer service with AAG. The questions and answers are very informative and helpful. I've also taken a special liking to my rep Marilyn who is a sweet lady. She is down-to-earth but extremely professional. She definitely knows her business. There wasn't anything that I asked that she wasn't able to answer right then. There was no, "I'll check on it or I'll look into it."

My rep was pretty knowledgeable and he stays in touch with me. He calls me and keeps me informed. I should be hearing back from somebody else and he's waiting on that. AAG is a good place to go. It'd be somebody to call.

I did my research and I just feel that I'm comfortable with American Advisors Group. I liked the honesty that I've got from the different people I've dealt with and that makes it very important to me. The rep has a personality. He walked me through everything very nicely and intelligently, and he explained why I had to go for the company that I went for. If I had a question, I got an honest and intelligent answer. Not where he's talking down to me because I'm a woman and not above where I can go. He's perfect for me. I'm so pleased.

Our rep Joel is very attentive. He's not pushy and he's walking us through everything. Other people would be happy with AAG.

Some of the people are very knowledgeable... The people behind the phone calls are very slow... It takes months for them to do anything... You're the criminal and guilty until they prove you innocent... If you have an insurance or a home owner's claim... Plan on three months after you give them your insurance check... Then they keep half of it until the claim is settled... Working with AAG is Exhausting...

AAG told me everything up front. I'm only halfway through the process but so far, my experience has been really good.

The AAG rep, Michael, was very accommodating and answered all my questions. Overall, I was looking for a lower interest rate and a lower cap and he satisfied that. So, I decided to go with them. The reverse mortgage process was great and we went through everything very quickly. I'm very satisfied so far.

We tried to refi with NewDay because we're veterans. But that didn't work out because we bought a new furnace three years ago so we owe a bit of money on that. And for some reason, they couldn't do the loans that had another lien on it. And then my husband said, "Well, why don't you call?" And our son is a Realtor. He checked American Advisors Group out, and he said it looked good to him. Their rep was good at explaining what it was, even though I do not understand real estate terms at all. The main guy that we've talked to called and answered any questions that we had, and helped us to know what to do.
