I have never dealt with a more efficient and timely company. Everything was straightforward and handled with care. From start to finish, the whole process was transparent. This is my first month with Achieve Loans. I applied with them due to their flexibility and rate. The application process was very easy, and the customer service rep who helped me, Jeremiah, was very responsive. He was really good. I haven't made a payment yet, but so far, Achieve Loans has been great.

The whole process with Achieve was fantastic. I did not realize that I had a lien on my home. I ended up getting hurt in 2011 and I was on disability for seven years. I went through a program to lower my mortgage rate and the program that I went through put a lien on my house to drop my monthly payment down. I knew about it, but I didn't realize it was a lien.

The loan officer was great. I was impressed with his experience, and I was able to reach him easily. He was also very informative and knew everything off the top. There was no getting back to me. All the support people were really nice too. I would either text message them or message them on the portal, and they would get back to me immediately.

I filled something out, and somebody from Achieve called me. The original guy I talked to was excellent. If he didn't answer, he called me right back. He answered everything timely and made things simple for me to understand. The application process wasn't too bad as well. The only thing that took forever to pay were certain stuff that were supposed to be paid off. I paid off some credit cards, but by the time they were finally paid off, I had to pay the interest that recurred.

Achieve Loans provided my family a great, easy to accomplish, fixed rate HELOC which was 75% or more lower than all our revolving credit card debt. They took my app mid October and funded in under 2 weeks and paid all our debt off and $33k for home repairs, starting with our roof this Monday. Life changing!

The pros of the loan process were that it was friendly and informative, and they provided a few assistants. I was able to get the loan I needed at an acceptable rate. The con was the extended document requirements added on a day-to-day basis during that process. I’d have been confident knowing all the requirements at the start.

The AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWALS SETUP FOR THE LOAN CONFIRMED!!!! But still It’s the constant parading unnecessary, senseless communications AFTER PROCURING THE LOAN. AS IF FOR THE TERM OF THE LOAN THEY ARE GOING TO CALL EVERY OTHER DAY. IS THAT NECESSARY. If you don’t trust the borrower with the LOAN then DON’T lend us the money, ie that’s a no brainer!

I get the HELOC however the debt that was supposed to be paid was paid partially even my share the pay off values for the next 30 days. It was not clear, is still not to me, if there is a condition to pay a debt to be granted a loan that is just an lump sum payment and not that will not take ownership of the full debt. So at the end I am paying the HELOC and the remaining of the debt that the HELOC total value should have covered. It was never clarified this way.

I’ve spent way too many hours trying to set up the online account only to find out that I have to call a special number. Once I called the Special number I had to verify almost every single bit of my information again and talk and talk and talk and at the end of the call I still was no more closer to getting online. now I find out I have to get a special, super special FedEx delivery that must be signed for which means I have to take time off from work to get this special, special, super special FedEx envelope that has a special, super special code that I then have to call back and call the number with a super special code. Just so I can finally after all this logon to their website. Not feeling like a special customer at all.

I was never told at any moment my loan can be legally sold. So if Shellpoint does not make us happy Achieve will get thrown into the social media blast on feedback and buyer beware. My wife has over 30k followers on FB and 10k on tiktok. I have 45 followers combined in social media. I was promised many things on a recorded line and if Shellpoint doesn't honor these I will let everyone know to stay away from Achieve. Achieve sold my loan legally and I have the right to legally let everyone know to be aware.

Gave you the balances to pay off. You came up about $3000 short. I borrowed $30,000. Now your statement shows that my loan is $33,000. I am assuming that $3000 is for your fees??? Your customer portal has a lot to be desired. It wasn’t easy getting items checked off your list.

They would send a good faith lending estimate then something else would pop up. My loan officer would explain it, but it seemed like more and more things would pop up all the time. Achieve could improve on their communication. The underwriting processor that was assigned to me was virtually nonexistent. Reaching out to the underwriter didn't get responses, so I reached out to the loan officer, and he was very good about getting the answers. He was the only one available to me mostly.

Our experience with Achieve was a lot easier than what other people that was doing the same thing had. It took them months compared to what we went through. The process through Achieve took three weeks and it went really fast as soon as we figured out that's who we wanted to go with. Everybody that I've talked to has been helpful before we did it, while doing it and afterwards when I called in with a concern. Because the stuff didn't get taken out right away, I was worried that it wasn't gonna get taken out, but they were very helpful. Achieve's website was also easy to navigate, and their rate and terms were okay compared to some others. I've already recommended them to others.

I was broke and needed money, and Achieve was the only one that approved me. The process was quick and easy. I did the first part online, then the rest of it, I spoke with a representative. The lady was a bit of a Grinch and acted like she didn't like to talk, but other than that, everybody else was cool. However, they can be more helpful with the information given. I have no idea what my rate is and I should know it, but it was working so fast that a couple of things got missed in the process. Achieve also sends me too many letters in the mail. I chose the no paper billing, and they send me a bill every month. The payments are on autopay. They should just take the money, send me an email, and call it a day. Still, everything is fine overall.

When I responded to Achieve, they advised me that I was under-reporting my income. Achieve pointed out that I was not reporting my Social Security Income. That was nearly fifteen hundred dollars, and I qualified easily.

Throughout the loan process, there were a number of delays in processing including acquisition of documents from lenders and securing an appraiser. While this is expected, I would have liked to have had regular check-ins from a singular point of contact from Achieve to explain where we were at. Instead I had to call the company line and spoke with a different person every time. Additionally, at closing, there was miscommunication between Achieve and the notary which was rather stressful as it was not resolved until 30 minutes before the closing appointment. I am pleased with the rates I was provided and was pleased with the "onboarding" experience however.

There was not a clear explanation of costs, specifically interest rates. There was much more volatility in their interest rates than the general market. When the loan was paid off I was misled about the return of funds that I would be receiving. It always felt like the Bud Abbott and Lou Costello "whose on first" story, it's funny in that context but not when it's your money. I would never recommend using them and I will never think of them as a valued partner.
