I have the Bronze Elite Prepaid Card and they charge you for loading your card even after the place that you loaded it at charge you. But they put down as if someone else has received the money but in reality it is Ace Elite taking the money. I'm shredding my card.

I INQUIRED on getting a payday loan in 2009. Since then I have received threatening phone calls that if I called and disputed they would hang up and block my #. I even got the local police dept involved and they also stated that this is a scam. As of 2013 I started receiving "lawsuit emails" saying I owe $** and the FBI was involved and my employer and credit bureau would be notified unless I paid a smaller amount. Most of the time there is no phone # to contact nor an address. I even dug as far as searching my bank account for a deposit in the amount they stated I received around when I should have received it and nothing.

Most of the emails don't make sense and back when they called it was always a heavily accented man stating he was from the state police dept main office. He would have a name like "John Wayne" or something basic and he was definitely of an Arab decent or middle eastern and could hardly speak English. Today I received yet another "email lawsuit settlement". First place I started getting emails from is ACS Incorp and the one I received today came from Ace Cash Express.

On January 12, 2016 we received an email stating my husband owes "X" amount of dollars and if he did not respond they would inform the credit bureaus and his place of employment. They sent other threatening messages about filing suit against my husband. Some of these emails made no sense, so I know it's coming from a foreigner.

IF I have ever had a loan with ACE Cash Express, it would have had to have been 10 years ago or more as I do not use banks anymore. Interesting how much you can save without banking fees and overdraft charges. Anyway, about once a month, I get an email from ACE threatening that charges will be filed against me if payment is not made "today." It has a letterhead to make you think it is a legitimate legal form -- yet is never served by certified mail or a process server -- just through email. Even if I did owe the amount stated, I would hesitate to send it to them because the grammar used tells me that this is not a professional attorney's office -- more likely coming from another country.

For example, one line reads: If you do not take immediate action we will be forced to download this case against you and once it is downloaded the creditor has entire rights to inform your employer regarding this and if you are found guilty under the bench of jury then you have to bear a lawsuit which will be a penalty of $4515.85 and your bank account will be closed. It will be totally levied upon you and that would be excluding your bail charges, your attorney charges and the due amount pending on your name $1207.86.

The long run-on sentence and poor punctuation leads me to believe that this is not from an actual attorney. In addition, it is signed simply "United States Attorney" with no name or contact phone number. In all of my years dealing with attorney correspondence, every attorney takes every opportunity to put their name and phone number on mail that they send out. I believe this to be a scam.

I just want everybody know I have been cashing my check, paying bills, getting money orders, etc for 8 or 9 years now from the one on Lapalco in Gretna, Louisiana. I have never had a problem with them. They are very fast at what they do and very friendly. I would recommend them to anybody that needs to cash checks, pay bills etc.

I have received a total of 6 threatening emails about being taken to court for a payday loan that I do not have and I do not owe! Something needs to give because I am tired of being harassed on a daily basis. They can never come up with good paperwork and their English is the worse when they send you an email...

I was online looking for a short term loan just to get me through 2 weeks, it was against my better judgement but I did not want to ask to borrow anything from family or friends. I am well aware that these places prey on the weak and downtrodden and those that are down on their luck, but what the heck, I tried it anyway. After going to certain places that told me I was "approved" when I gave them the information, all it did was send me to some other site to fill out more information.

Anyway, I received an e-mail from Ace cash express in a pdf file, parts of it looked legit, but there was something about it that looked copied. I called this gonad on the form and he identified himself as "Darren." Well he sounded nothing like a "Darren" - he sounded more like a foreigner that was paid to handle calls. He told me I was approved for 5000 at an 8.75% interest rate and could pay back over 3 years, this was too good to be true, no one gives that kind of money away to someone with a credit score of 615. I asked him what was the catch and he said I had to send them 1000, he would deposit it in my account, then I was to send it back to them, then they would be clear to send me the 5000. Well, I did not fall for it... First people, no one ever charges you to take out a loan, at least not up front, you pay that in the loan. If someone sends you one of these letters report them. I hope they lock all those ** up.

I received a settlement letter from them when I don't even remember taking any loan. The mail does not have a loan date or information/proof. I highly upset to received this in the mail. They need to be reported. Isn't it a legal timeline for any matters like this. This a scam and unprofessional.

I was approved for $5000 and called to tell Ace Cash Express Mr **. Mr **. Mr ** all took part in scamming me. I was told I had to pay 255. To verification dept in Florida. I had to send this to Ace to show I had enough funds to pay payment. Mr ** said money $5000 was transferred to my bank. I checked after half hour. No funds. Mr ** called to check in the arrival of my loan. I told him it was not in the bank. He then told me he needed $275.00 more for insurance. I told him no more money. He said, "The loan is on hold 'til you pay it." I said cancel loan and return my $255.00 I did pay. He said, "No you can't have that money back." I am filing charges of fraud. Theft and scam with states attorney of my town. I'm left with no money til Dec 3. Thanks Ace. Had to cancel a lot if plans and holiday plans. Ace left us with .86.

My daughter was asked to go cash a check by a friend. She is only 19 and has suffered traumatic brain injury. The check did not clear and they now say she is the one that owes the money because the "issuer did not benefit from the money she received". She just thought he didn't have time to do it himself and returned the money to him. Asking for a supervisor only got us to a message and no return call as of yet.

I got an email with a funky order number from, what looked to be, an eBay UK address. It said my order had shipped. I've been a victim of ID theft more than once, so I clicked the link. Took me to a payday loan site. Now getting poorly worded emails from these guys. There's back and forth, saying they have signed documents. I know I never applied. They have my SS # and my bank name. Not going to get scammed again... Reporting this to AZ attorney Gen who expressly gates these types of lenders...

I'm not sure if this is a real company or not. I know that I have several cash loans out and I know that I must pay them. This company is constantly emailing me saying I owe 956.00. First I never borrowed this amount of money from anyone. The second problem is I was talking to the company about settling the situation. They asked me to send a payment through moneygram to DARREN **. I have no clue who this company is, I tried calling the company to ask why do I have to send the money to this person but the phone number listed is not working. I asked for proof of the company and to send me legal documentation. The company has refused to answer any of my question and told me if I do not pay I will be arrested.

I looked for an address nothing about this company. I think this is a disgrace stealing money from hard working Americans. I even just the court record system there is only one case pending against me but it is not $956.00. I believe someone should investigated this is not right at all. I will continue to see if I can get this matter under control but it's so annoying.

I had a cash loan. I paid in full and rec'd a letter stating my account was paid. I then started to received calls for Ace Cash Express which I told them my account was paid. They said not the same company. I only had one loan!!! They are threatening court action unless I pay 100.00 to them and the crazy thing is you can't access your account on Ace Cash Express website. They want me to go purchase a Paypal pay card. I've never heard of anything like this, they should be able to accept any form of payment if they are legit and why does Ace Cash Express have a "resolve my account" link and if you have a "so-called" problem account why can't you access your account??? I don't trust these people or the company at al! They need to be investigated for their business practices.

I called ACE Elite customer service because there was an unauthorized charge on my card. I spoke with Cash Avaya customer service ID# **. The customer service representative told me in order to file a complaint against the merchant, I would have to have my card blocked. I told him that I would go to the bank to remove the money off of my card and call back. Needless to say he blocked my card anyway. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he put me on hold, and the person that came to the phone sounded like the same person that I had just spoken with. This is very frustrating to say the least.

I have been going to ACE Cash Express for years. I have a prepaid credit card that I put money on occasionally. I sent my son up the street to the closest outlet. He comes back in a huff. I ask him what is wrong and he says, "They are not there anymore." I was like "What?" So, I called the number on the back of my card. They were flooded with calls so I punched in my call me back number and they never called me back and they had a whole day. So, I had to find another check cashing place that is 3 miles out of our way. Neither of us drive so we have to take the bus everywhere. So, we finally got what we needed. Everything is good now thanks to CHECKMATE. ACE can go jump off a high cliff without a parachute. I never even got an email saying that their outlets were closing. That would have been the nice thing to do.

I routinely borrowed from Ace Cash Express over the last year, mostly to keep an option open for emergencies. I'd pay them back early, after a few months. I've never missed a payment, I've never had a bounced check... nothing. After I paid off my last loan again... early. I tried to start another loan to see how much the payments would be. Well I was denied "due to poor loan history". I called, even the agents "didn't know why I could possibly be denied". This is a scam people, they only want people to get caught in the trap so they can milk every penny, when they cannot... they will refuse to loan to you if you pay them back early. No worries, I'll keep money in my pocket and use my bank from now on.

I thought I activated a debit, found it was no funds on the card even I never used it, plus I forgot my pin number for the card. Contacted them - the girl was challenged because I am asking routine questions like my balance and why it is $0.00, I mean exactly that amount. That sounds stupid, she would not let me speak a supervisor. Asked for corporate number nothing so I am out 25.00. Thanks. Don't fool w/ these. Look people at the people who work there, they all look like former **. Disgusting... Of course it was my fault - you get what you pay for scam artists...

I paid 2000 today on a 3000 loan. My balance stated was 547.00 owed. I called the main office and ask for an adjustment on upcoming payments since the majority is much less owed. The customer service representative was very cold and said, "No." When I took out this loan, I was told once my balance is down, I could make payment arrangements. Not the case. Don't do this loan!

Got a email saying I was approved for a $8000. I talked to John ** from Dallas, TX. Phone numbers he called me by were ** and **. He called and told me I was ready to get my money, just sign the online papers to finalize it. I signed the papers I needed to sign and sent them back to him. He called me back on a Friday, asked me to go buy a Green Dot card, put $360 on it to verification I could make the payments. Then he took my information for my bank to direct deposit it my checking account. Well it was late on Friday so I asked him to do it Monday morning so I knew it would be in there before my bank closed on Monday. Monday come around, it wasn't deposited. So I called him, he did. I had to pay a insurance for $575 and put it on a Green Dot card again because I had bad credit. Which I did cause I do. Then he told me that he couldn't put it in my account, got some reason. So we went Moneygram and I had to pay more money.

Next day he said that there was some red flags and we couldn't go that way either. So he said to pay more money for Western Union. I paid the money for the Western Union and he sent me a MTCN which was too many numbers. Then he sent me another one which was not a good one at all. As I'm talking to him about the numbers not being valid I get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS and my money was on hold till I paid the IRS over a $1000. Which I don't the IRS. So I talk to John again, he said I can't, that I had to settle the IRS thing. I told him I don't have a problem with them. So I told him I wanted to cancel my loan and to send me a certified check of my money I paid in. He told me that I had to pay either $350 to get my money or $450 to get my money plus the loan. I told him I wasn't paying another dime since he already took me for over $2000.

A week later he called me back giving me a sad story about him losing his job if I didn't finalize the loan since it was still open. So he tried to deal with me and offered to pay $250 himself and I pay $250. Then when he gets his next check he would send my $250 back to me. But I would get a check for almost $1200. I didn't send the money and haven't heard from him since about it. So now I'm out over $2000 and behind on my bills because he guaranteed me loan plus the money I paid in to get the loan.

Never got a loan with these people. They keep sending emails stating they are going to take me to court, put my ssn on hold. It's been going on for over a year. Just got another one today for a settlement. They said that it will go into court within 7 days. Want me to pay the settlement by 8/28/15. I never called them, cause it is illegal to do this via email.

I took a loan out, explained to the lady I would be out of town when the first payment was due. She told me I could come in 2 weeks before the first payment was due. So I did that day I was told my loan was paid in full. We all knew there was a mistake made. She told me she would call me. I stop in again - once again I was told it was paid in full; I didn't have a loan there. I go on vacation, get home & get multiple calls from Ace collections. I spoke to a lady, went made a payment. Not only made a payment 2 days before I said I would but gave more than I said. Only to have 3 more collectors call me. I call to talk to someone about this being their mistake & no luck - just a huge runaround. I took the loan to help my credit, instead it's made things worse. I'm so glad I always had an eye-witness with me the entire time.

The customer service is great at the store in Leesburg, FL. The staff was non-judgemental and made the process quick and easy. Unlike Amscot, you do not need to continually borrow to raise the amount you can borrow. I was approved for the amount they estimated I could borrow and we able to borrow the max amount the FIRST time I went. They aren't very apt on extensions though. I remember looking up the website, but it was much easier to just call the store and asked them what you needed to bring in.

Ok me and small daughter was at the store on 10th Arlington Indianapolis IN. The store manager waited on me. It was another lady was talking to the other employee at the window and the lady was telling her that she had put in her 2 week notices just because she found another job. So then that's when Angie burst out and said she's going to quit because she can't deal with the customer. So now everyone in the room looking like no she didn't say this. But sake stated she's been with the company for 15 years and has gone through 45 employees??? Yea ok called the district manager, no return call. So I guess if you been with a company so long nowadays you can do and say what the ** you want to.
