I find myself in a tight spot following my divorce. I needed a small installment loan. These types of loans are extremely expensive, but I found Ace's fees to be less than similar loan companies. I would prefer to use Ace if I needed one again. The only problem I had was verifying my bank account because of my name change. I had one loan, paid it off quickly, and applied for a second. No problems the first time, but I ran into problems the second time even though everything was the same. To everyone saying they contacted you, there are scammers out there using the names of Ace, Speedy Cash, CashNetUSA and others to get your information. Don't call those numbers or respond to those requests. Go to the company's website directly and contact them directly.

I received a email saying I was approved for 5000.00. They called and got my bank info. Then he started texting saying he need my login info. I told him I would have think about that my sister received a loan and had to give that info so I gave it to him. He deposited a check from a attorney's office and forged my signature! My account is now under investigation and I was told my bank account would be closed!!

First off we will never ever use Ace Cash Express again. I will never refer anyone to or recommend in any way. They have destroyed the trust in an instant that they so display as a slogan on their signs everywhere. Now to set the record straight, we applied for an installment loan, to pay off in payments biweekly, then we find out we're in the negative where we bank. Turns out they deliberately changed that installment loan into a payday loan solely because they wanted to. So we took out another loan to pay off that loan in full from Ace Cash Express also, loud and clear letting them know we're applying for an installment loan and not a payday loan that we can pay biweekly.

The first 2 weeks went by and we paid the finance charge like clockwork and then again someone in that business decides to withdraw the finance charge weekly instead of biweekly as we agreed to!!! No notification. No heads up. No nothing. Had to find out through our banking reps that there is unusual activity from Ace Cash Express going on causing us to have insufficient funds by taking out weekly when we never agreed to it in the first place. Now that, we've called to ask for transcripts about how they are handling our file we emailed them and not as much as a courtesy from them in any way to respond at all.

It is all fraudulent if you ask me and it amazes me how they can breach their own contract and be at a complete disregard for the customer in concern trying to exercise their right to be informed of such fraudulent activity thus this review and many more to come. It isn't slander when it's true, And this is only the beginning, I paid that loan off today but won't rest until someone is held accountable for this unacceptable fraudulent activity is put to an end, and will never even think of using this place again much less refer anyone to them to get to the same treatment!! Am seeking to get this franchise into the trouble they seem to get themselves into I have the transcripts to prove it and I aim to do so starting with the BBB. I ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO USE Ace Cash Express, SINCERELY. P.S. I'D GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD!!! And that too is an understatement...

I applied for a $300 installment loan online with ACE Cash Express in August of 2018. The money was deposited in my account the next business day. They withdraw my installment loan payment amount for my installment loan when my paycheck gets deposited. I have not had any problem with ACE Cash Express and they have been a great place to get a short term installment loan.

I received an email back in August from ACE Cash Express welcoming me to my new account... I did not apply for an account with this company so was very concerned. Of course the email had a "click here" link which I did not fall for, so I called the phone # on the email and spoke with a man, explained I did not apply for an account with them and asked who, what, when this account was opened. This guy then said in order for him to search/confirm this bogus account was for me to supply him with my "FULL SOCIAL SECURITY #"! What? NO WAY!

So, he said he could not help me further. I've tried over and over again to try and find out what/who this company is and why they continue to send me emails... that my "pink debit card has shipped and to activate when it arrives"... no card ever arrived, that I can manage my ACE Flare account online with of course a 'click here' link. I continue to get 2-3 emails from this company since August, and then yesterday I received an email thanking me for choosing ACE Cash Express and to take a survey regarding a recent store interaction listing a specific date. I have no idea what they are talking about. BEWARE. After all this time I believe it's time for me to go to the police and report.

Applied online for loan. Got response from Ace Cash Express for $5000. Was told because of my score I would need to submit $250 by a Google Play card to the loan money AND the $250 put into my bank. Went to store, got Google Play card, called Stanley, told him the number on the back of card, and waited. When the money didn't get into my account, I called and Stanley said I would need to put more money to get it processed because the FCC or FDC was holding the money. The additional money would take care of it and release my money plus the money I had added to the pot. Did the same thing again. No money showed up.

I wanted to believe in this and he kept telling me to trust them one more time. Anyway, the total amount I am out is $1400, never did receive the loan, the money I put into it, and now when I call Stanley is no longer working there. I sent e-mail to the president of ACE and supposedly they have found out there is a scam company using their letterhead, etc. I am probably never going to see my $1400 and will have to file bankruptcy because I am in even more debt and in a deeper hole. I have learned a very expensive lesson never ever give money to get money.

I was online looking for a small personal loan to help catch up on bills. I had received a text from a Julian ** saying, "Congratulations you have been approved for a $6000 loan with no upfront or ending fees." Giving me an Id# to call with. I was desperate so I called the number to hear what they had to offer. After speaking with this Julian everything seemed legit so I gave them my information. He said my credit was slightly lower than what I needed to receive the loan and that they could help me get my score up to what I needed it to be. They deposited money into my account and had me load those funds onto a Google Play card and send them the #s on the card and that will help my credit score go up. Never tried to get a loan before so I believed him. Figured it wasn't my own money so I wasn't losing anything over it.

After getting the cards and sending them the numbers, they said that it didn't bring my score up high enough and that I had to do it again. Three times over three days they deposited money and had me get cards and send the money back. After the third time I asked when I was going to get my loan. Had no response! I checked my bank account and it showed that I had $-713 in my account. They scammed me and stole my money! Don't believe what they tell you! Don't give out your banking information! Don't be trusting like I was! Now I'm dealing with all kinds of problems. Had to file a police report and now have to cancel my bank account and open a new one. And being out hundreds of dollars along with the whole reasons I needed the loan in the first place! If they want you to purchase cards at a store weather with their money or yours, it's a scam!

Ace Cash Express 1750 S Rural RD. #101 Tempe, AZ 85281 - The last time I went to make a payment about one month ago. I paid the teller which is the manager. Her name is **. I made a payment of $150. I had withdrawal $200 from my bank checking account. I went to the store and I gave her the money. She gave me back change which should have been $50. She counted the money back to me. When I got back home I counted the money and noticed I was missing $50. I went back to my bank to find out if the teller over there forgot to give me the $50. The manager from my bank looked into it with the teller. He told me she did give me the whole $200 which shows in their accounts when they count the money.

I went back to ** and told her my bank did give me the whole $200. I asked her if maybe if I dropped it the man behind me might have picked it up. I know I did not drop any money. I asked her if she can look at the camera to see and she said there is no camera there. She could not tell me anything because she really doesn't know. Then I went back to take a loan out for $300. She counted it to me but when I got home I counted the money and I was missing $20. I called ** and told her but she said no that she had counted the money in front of me.

So I went in to make a payment this other lady was there so I told her about what happened and she told me a lot of customers been telling her the same thing about this manager ** that when she counts the money to us she somehow drops some of that money down to the floor on purpose that next time like she tells the other customers, after she counts us the money. Be sure and count it back in front of her. I want this lady to give us all back our money and for the police to put her in jail.

My husband recently lost his job, so I was online trying to get a quick payday advance or a small loan to keep us afloat while he is looking. I have three kids and daycare expenses add up quick! I got a random text that read: "Hello, Congratulations. Your loan has been approved Application ID- **. Loan approved between $2000 to $6000. If you're still looking for a loan in the market Please call us on **. Thank You. Steven **. ACE CASH EXPRESS." So I called back, they had my home address, name, banking account, and routing numbers and my SSN.

He said how much of a loan was I looking for, I said, "Well what was I approved for," the amounts were very vague, he said $2000.00. for $183.00 a month. I said, "Ok, how soon can I get it into my account?" He said within a couple of hours. I said, "Ok, email me the paperwork and let's go." He said, "Well, I need your debit card number." I laughed and said, "Umm, not a chance." He said he needed to verify that the Chase Bank account was in fact mine and due to fraud, they had to make sure I wasn't taking out a loan in someone else's name. I explained that due to FRAUD, I would never give out my debit card number. He told me that I can call and cancel the card, or withdraw all the money from the bank account and he would deposit $500.00 into my account and all I had to do was send it back to him to verify that I have access to the account.

I said, "All you have to do is call my bank and verify my account!" He said he will never call my bank or my work line and then asked for just the last 4 of my debit card. I said nope. During this time I was reading reviews about how much they scam people and he said "well, all those reviews are bad." I said, "Yea, you are a scammer!" He said he would wait till I was done reading so we could continue processing the loan. I said I don't want a loan from him and if he messes with my account I'm calling the cops and hung up. I've never had a loan company ask for my debit card before receiving funds OR want me to return a deposit to verify my account. Are you INSANE?

First let me say the plus size young lady who works at Ace check cashing on Hwy 85 Atl GA Is very rude. Always on her phone or sitting in her Jeep. She never wants to help the other young man out, never smiles and seems to hate her job. Management should really send a undercover boss there. You will see why that location never has customers. I also notice if you are Spanish she don't mind but if you are ** she looks at you all rude like why you here. Although it is a mostly ** neighborhood maybe she should move to a area where she is more willing to offer better customer service.

I received an email stating that I was approved for a loan. I called the number and he was going over the terms. The FIRST red flag, he read out my bank account number that I use for bills and never provide to anyone. When I questioned this, he became defensive stating that I had entered it online. I KNOW I did not. The second red flag was asking for my debit card number and I told him I wasn’t comfortable with this. He began yelling and saying, "If you don’t want the loan then goodbye." Be careful of these scams!

We have taken out loans MANY times, and NEVER missed a payment. Well, with things in our personal lives causing some issues we forgot to update our numbers and today (8/10/2018) we went to pay our monthly payments, and even though the signed contract informs of late payment fee twice, apparently they do not honor that part of the agreement. I understand going directly to the bank with someone constantly being late, but given our history that is not the way to treat good customers.

Hello my name is Joseph ** from Troy, New York and I applied for a loan from Ace Cash Express and ended up put money in my account. The amount was $852.00 then they called and told me that I had to do a MoneyGram to send them $817.00 in order to get $1,200.00 but they never gave me no address where to send it and I called Better Business Bureau Inc. of New York state and they said the company does not exist and I also had a fraud alert put on my credit report. Now I am getting bad text messages that are threating ones. I will never go through this company ever again. So stay away from Ace Cash Express.

On 6/26, at approximately 7:54 p.m. I receive a call from Ace Cash. "You are approved if you need a loan. How much do you need?" I just threw out $2000. He says, "Ok, your payment will be $100 starting 8/3/18. Can you handle that?" I said, "Sure, what do I have to do?" He wanted my debit card number. Not about to happen. So he said, "Ok we can go another route. Do you have online banking?" I said, "No!" Anyway, to make a long story short, he told me that they are going to deposit through Walmart an amount of $900 that I must return to prove my creditworthiness. The credit bureau will then increase my score at a higher rating. He said he will call me in the morning since it's already too late in New York to do anything. I said ok. First off, there is no Ace Cash Express in New York so just be careful of scammers.

Made the request for a payday loan online on Friday but apparently it was considered after business hours. So it said the money would deposit on the 25th. It's the 25th and not there. I called and was told it was sent out and could take 24 hours from the business date. Then telling me it would deposit on the 25th. Wasn't true. So basically I've been waiting now for this emergency loan that I needed 3 days ago, for like, 4 days. Now going on 5. At this point I almost don't need it anymore. I could've just waited for my payday. You're better off going into the store for an emergency need for money right away. Or you'll be waiting 4 or 5 days for it. Not helpful at all.

Asked for direct information, and received nothing until I mentioned speaking with my lawyer! Inquired about other alternatives to get matters resolved, very nasty demeanor. Was told must pay today on the spot in regards of preventing civil action. The news were alarming being, proper steps making certain parties receive proper literature. Ace Cash is fraud fraud fraud. I went to ACE Fast Cash at 3071 Hwy 21 Ste 102 Fort Mill SC 29715 to pay back my loan on the due date on 6/8/18. However when I arrived there was a note on the door stating the store was closed early due to the system being down. I went back the next day, spoke with ** the center manager and was told she couldn't accept my payment because it was late, even though it wasn't my fault. She advised I put the money back into my account and she will contact corporate to have it taken care of. What kind of business can't take a payment except thru cash? What kind of business can't take a "late" payment?

About 4 years ago I was searching online for loan, filled out app, called back by a Michael ** claiming be Ace Cash Express claimed needed upfront fees, so foolishly being in financial crisis I paid upfront fees only it was a scam. I was ripped off entire week's paycheck. Now ever since @ every 6-8 months I get these threatening emails about not paying loan back that never received & how I will be prosecuted, Iowa's Attorney General's Office is a Godsend in this situation. Please be aware!! Fool me once shame on you if you try again.

ACE doesn't tell applicants that they do a HARD inquiry every time, even for a little payday loan. I found out when my credit monitoring notified me. I contacted the ACE president who responded rather uncaringly that they are "authorized" to pull your credit score WITHOUT your express permission. And I was instructed to call customer service. Well, the customer service rep was not helpful at all. He kept repeating they "do" credit inquiries and didn't seem to see the big deal about hard inquiries. Then he hung up on me. I'm requesting that ACE remove both hard inquiries from my credit reports. Otherwise they won't get my business again.

I have been getting a payday loan for over a year. I attempted last year to get a installment loan and I was denied even though my income qualified. Then last month I received a denial email for a loan that I had not applied for at all. They charged my account three days early again and broke the contract again. I applied for the same payday loan again and was denied and claimed it was from a ACH payment that was five days late and still had not been paid... I do not have any ACH payments set up with anyone and never have. It is unjustified decision, that will cost me my job, and my rent payment will be short the amount that I was borrowing.

I am a disabled senior and disabled veteran. I will be homeless next week if my rent is not paid in full by Wednesday. They have also, repeatedly withdrew my payment every time four days earlier than I agreed to pay it on. Costing me almost sixty dollars in bank fees every month. Now my entire inheritance will be lost, I'll be living on the streets. I'm a sick old veteran, who has been victimized by Ace Express Loan Predatory lenders. I do not have a late or unpaid ACH, they are committing fraud, violating a old veteran rights committing slander. It is my financial advisor's mission over the next two weeks to find a law firm to take my case, sue for damages, I will lose my car, job, and place to live. FRAUD prejudices, inflicting harm and loss thefts.

I took out two online payday loans with Ace Cash Express. The first went fine. I paid in store on time. The second went fine and I went to a different store location to pay on time. The clerk clearly didn't know what he was doing. It took me a hour to pay. I even received after I left a email confirming the payment. Two days later I got a email saying that my payment was past due. I called in and they apologized and explained the incompetent employee failed to remove a hold on my account so they tried to debit my account after paid and that is why I was past due. She removed the hold and apologized for the mistake.

She ASSURED me that I would not be penalized for their mistake and my account would not show as if I had paid late. I reapplied for the loan and got a adverse reaction saying I had POOR LOAN PERFORMANCE. I have always paid on time and this is ridiculous. Call in to finally get a manager after three calls for this guy named Gary to say there is nothing he can do and try in store. All of two minutes on the phone and that's all he had to say. No compensation no way to correct or clear my account or anything. This company is a joke. And now I see they are not even accredited so if you were hoping to get your credit score up with this loan you are wasting your time.

I can't even write this review without laughing hysterically that these people are still in business. I have never gotten a loan from this company. Nonetheless when looking into payday loans is $495 an option for a payday loan. Some schmuck named "Paul" using a GMAIL address claiming to be with Ace Cash America is going to "sue" if I don't pay the $495 by today. Or I can set up a payment plan with Paul and pay him a total of $900 with three installments of $300... Scratching my head too. If I fail to pay this court fees of $4,200 will be waiting for me at "my doorsteps" and I say Paul because who the hell sends a business debt collections email without a phone number to contact anyone at. ** is a ** way to scam people.

Stay away from this non-accredited business. I was alerted by my credit monitoring that a hard inquiry by Ace Cash Express was reported. After going through several phone calls of which no one could tell me anything I was given an email address to write to. All I wanted was for them to remove the inquiry from my report and to send me a Credit Inquiry Removal Letter.

They are being unruly, they did not ask for consent to do a Hard Inquiry which is a requirement, the loan would have been secured via ACH should I have taken it. They will ruin your financial life for 2 years. Imagine going to a bank for a car loan and they see on the traditional 3 major credit bureaus that a payday lender is listed as an inquiry, which is unheard of when it comes to payday lending and small dollar loans, the bank will laugh you out the door. ACE Cash is not an accredited business and gets security from ACH or debit cards as a payday loan lender.

Again there was no consent to do a hard pull from the 3 credit bureaus. They have also without permission pulled money out of my bank account and I have no business with them! STAY AWAY! They need to remove these hard inquiries from my credit files. I do not agree to them. I canceled the loan prior to signing it up, I went to the storefront whom the Manager Shirley? or Cheryl? in Kansas City, KS Stated that ACE cash has never done hard pulls on one's credit file. But they have done so. I will be writing the Texas Attorney General and possibly suing for financial damages. For anyone who got hit with a hard inquiry without consent I suggest contacting the CFSA, the CFPB, lodging a complaint with The Fair Credit Reporting Act under 15 U.S.C. § 1681.

They informed me I would need to file a police report if I didn’t “apply for these loans.” First of all I was never told there were actually loan applications in my name, and certainly nothing specific like when, or where or what information was given.

Am I supposed to go to the police saying “I need to file a report because my identity was stolen” and then say “Based on what evidence?” And I respond with “Ace Cash Express ran my credit without my authorization.” Beware of this company. They obviously either don’t verify anyone’s identity or if they do, they somehow make it your fault/responsibility when they run a fraudulent credit inquiry. I’ve never used Ace Cash Express but if this is how they do business I will be making it a point to warn everyone I come across not to use them.

I received an e-mail stating I'm approved for an installment loan. So I called and they asked all sorts of questions regarding my banking then told me they needed me to provide them with my personal banking login information as they would make a trial deposit in my account then go in and withdraw that - then send me the amount they indicated I was originally approved for. No way would I give anyone access to my bank account. BEWARE and do not give access to your bank account to these people - very scary!!!

Ace claims I took a payday loan online and they're suing for non-payment. I told them I never took any loan from them. I have never even cashed a check at their establishment. They claim to have 14 things of evidence and my computers IP address. They said loan was deposited in Bank of America. I have not had them for at least 7 years. They claim the loan was for $300.00 and if I don't pay I will pay like $4,200 with court costs. I never had anything to do with this company ever.

What the hell kind of company gives loans on the internet without picture ID just SSI and checking account and a phone they can reach you.
