I applied for an installment loan and was sent an email stating that I was pre-approved based on the information I provided and that I was to call to verify some "additional" information. When I called, the representative only asked my name, phone number, date of birth and last four of my ssn #. After providing the information, she said my loan was denied. Why send a "pre-approval" email then? This is just bad business and I will never recommend this company!

I feel the service can be approved If it was set up more like your competitor Speedy Cash. The company would make more money having credit access. But I use your loan company all the time. Just FYI.

I'm getting emails from ACE CASH EXPRESS saying that I took out a loan in the amount of 1250 dollars. This is the second time this has happened to me with this company. They're either scammers or they're trying to extort money from people. I had been getting different emails from them, One stating my application was incomplete, another stating I was denied, another saying that I need to verify my account information, then lastly asking for a payment or all in full. This is totally ridiculous and something needs to be done. Not long after my account was compromised so I had to close that one, cancel my debit card, and open a different account. I was forced to lock all 3 of my credit bureaus and place a lock on them, and red flag my social because of them.

I would not recommend using Ace for payday loans. I was inquiring about cash online, and their whole application process was bizarre and confusing. They had me sign 2 documents before even telling me if I was approved. Apparently it finalized a loan I thought I had canceled out of. I only found this part out 4 days later when money was deposited into my account. Luckily cancelling the loan was an easy process. But I was never once clearly told that I had accepted. I never saw or signed a promissory note which I, maybe incorrectly, thought was a requirement. I never received a confirmation email. I literally would not have known the process was completed if I had not checked my bank account.
On top of that, the next day I went in store to apply and they had me go through the whole process again. Going as far as to run my credit again. I assume they did anyway. Once again the process was not clearly explained to me. They didn't even have me fill out an application, which I also thought was a requirement. In the end I was denied for having too many existing loans, which now that I know the online loan had been completed makes sense. At the time it was very confusing. That was all they could tell me, even though the loan was with their company.
I was later informed that in store and online are completely different and they can't even see if an online loan exists at the store level. Which seems weird to me since you're suppose to be able to make payments in store. The whole situation was ridiculous. I suggest not using this company. There are plenty of other options out there that will be more upfront and knowledgeable about the whole process.

My husband and I went to the branch that is located in Mesquite Texas. We was first denied due to no proof of income. So the lady states "if you get that we can try again." Brought in pay stubs. Oops denied again 'cause my husband's name was not on his card. Umm. Take notice the lady states "do you have a card with your name on it." Umm lady on his pay stubs it have his direct deposit with the account number that is on his card. Ran again, oops denied. For the 3rd time she runs it again and oops denied again stating now it’s his credit.
That’s a lie. We have our credit to before anyone to run our credit we are notified and we have to call to unfreeze it. No notifications. We called and our credit was not ran. It come back. He was at a 556. No we are at a 700 credit. Goes to show you that they give it to that won’t to. I would not recommend this place. In trust worth. And the site says no credit checks. And they don’t. They have it programmed in their computer to give out those notices when they feel it’s not necessary. Thanks Ace. A lesson learned.

I must first congratulate the employees for running a loan disbursement and collecting business. Application for the loan is simple. Answer questions, fill up compliance forms, ("Accepting by signature the dismissal of bankruptcy proceeds") Non or military affiliation... etc. Loan sum amount depends on financial history with the company, most likely starts to lend from 100 dollars. Once credibility is built you get access to higher disbursement amounts. Walk in store loans are to be paid in store. You cannot pay a walk in store loan online with this company. Strange in this digital age, but hey - they still treat you like a fine customer. LOAN FEES ARE BEST, EVEN AMONGST OTHER ONLINE LOAN CENTERS.

I actually applied for a district manager position with the company. I went through 4 interviews and never heard anything back. The regional manager was or thought she was really interested in me. When it came time to interview with her boss, she was very short on phone and didn’t have much to say. She put me on hold a couple times and then just came back and asked if I had any questions and then cut me off when I did go to ask. I sent follow up emails to recruiter and to the regional manager and never heard anything back. This was after they wanted me to visit a couple stores and ask questions and get back to them on findings.
I feel that the least they could have done was give me an answer. It may have been for the better though because it seems like the employees work long hours with no breaks sometimes. The stores were run down as well. If they treat potential employees this way, I can only assume how they treat theirs and their customers.

I find myself in a tight spot following my divorce. I needed a small installment loan. These types of loans are extremely expensive, but I found Ace's fees to be less than similar loan companies. I would prefer to use Ace if I needed one again. The only problem I had was verifying my bank account because of my name change. I had one loan, paid it off quickly, and applied for a second. No problems the first time, but I ran into problems the second time even though everything was the same. To everyone saying they contacted you, there are scammers out there using the names of Ace, Speedy Cash, CashNetUSA and others to get your information. Don't call those numbers or respond to those requests. Go to the company's website directly and contact them directly.

First off we will never ever use Ace Cash Express again. I will never refer anyone to or recommend in any way. They have destroyed the trust in an instant that they so display as a slogan on their signs everywhere. Now to set the record straight, we applied for an installment loan, to pay off in payments biweekly, then we find out we're in the negative where we bank. Turns out they deliberately changed that installment loan into a payday loan solely because they wanted to. So we took out another loan to pay off that loan in full from Ace Cash Express also, loud and clear letting them know we're applying for an installment loan and not a payday loan that we can pay biweekly.
The first 2 weeks went by and we paid the finance charge like clockwork and then again someone in that business decides to withdraw the finance charge weekly instead of biweekly as we agreed to!!! No notification. No heads up. No nothing. Had to find out through our banking reps that there is unusual activity from Ace Cash Express going on causing us to have insufficient funds by taking out weekly when we never agreed to it in the first place. Now that, we've called to ask for transcripts about how they are handling our file we emailed them and not as much as a courtesy from them in any way to respond at all.
It is all fraudulent if you ask me and it amazes me how they can breach their own contract and be at a complete disregard for the customer in concern trying to exercise their right to be informed of such fraudulent activity thus this review and many more to come. It isn't slander when it's true, And this is only the beginning, I paid that loan off today but won't rest until someone is held accountable for this unacceptable fraudulent activity is put to an end, and will never even think of using this place again much less refer anyone to them to get to the same treatment!! Am seeking to get this franchise into the trouble they seem to get themselves into I have the transcripts to prove it and I aim to do so starting with the BBB. I ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO USE Ace Cash Express, SINCERELY. P.S. I'D GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD!!! And that too is an understatement...

I received an email back in August from ACE Cash Express welcoming me to my new account... I did not apply for an account with this company so was very concerned. Of course the email had a "click here" link which I did not fall for, so I called the phone # on the email and spoke with a man, explained I did not apply for an account with them and asked who, what, when this account was opened. This guy then said in order for him to search/confirm this bogus account was for me to supply him with my "FULL SOCIAL SECURITY #"! What? NO WAY!
So, he said he could not help me further. I've tried over and over again to try and find out what/who this company is and why they continue to send me emails... that my "pink debit card has shipped and to activate when it arrives"... no card ever arrived, that I can manage my ACE Flare account online with of course a 'click here' link. I continue to get 2-3 emails from this company since August, and then yesterday I received an email thanking me for choosing ACE Cash Express and to take a survey regarding a recent store interaction listing a specific date. I have no idea what they are talking about. BEWARE. After all this time I believe it's time for me to go to the police and report.

Applied online for loan. Got response from Ace Cash Express for $5000. Was told because of my score I would need to submit $250 by a Google Play card to the loan money AND the $250 put into my bank. Went to store, got Google Play card, called Stanley, told him the number on the back of card, and waited. When the money didn't get into my account, I called and Stanley said I would need to put more money to get it processed because the FCC or FDC was holding the money. The additional money would take care of it and release my money plus the money I had added to the pot. Did the same thing again. No money showed up.
I wanted to believe in this and he kept telling me to trust them one more time. Anyway, the total amount I am out is $1400, never did receive the loan, the money I put into it, and now when I call Stanley is no longer working there. I sent e-mail to the president of ACE and supposedly they have found out there is a scam company using their letterhead, etc. I am probably never going to see my $1400 and will have to file bankruptcy because I am in even more debt and in a deeper hole. I have learned a very expensive lesson never ever give money to get money.

I was online looking for a small personal loan to help catch up on bills. I had received a text from a Julian ** saying, "Congratulations you have been approved for a $6000 loan with no upfront or ending fees." Giving me an Id# to call with. I was desperate so I called the number to hear what they had to offer. After speaking with this Julian everything seemed legit so I gave them my information. He said my credit was slightly lower than what I needed to receive the loan and that they could help me get my score up to what I needed it to be. They deposited money into my account and had me load those funds onto a Google Play card and send them the #s on the card and that will help my credit score go up. Never tried to get a loan before so I believed him. Figured it wasn't my own money so I wasn't losing anything over it.
After getting the cards and sending them the numbers, they said that it didn't bring my score up high enough and that I had to do it again. Three times over three days they deposited money and had me get cards and send the money back. After the third time I asked when I was going to get my loan. Had no response! I checked my bank account and it showed that I had $-713 in my account. They scammed me and stole my money! Don't believe what they tell you! Don't give out your banking information! Don't be trusting like I was! Now I'm dealing with all kinds of problems. Had to file a police report and now have to cancel my bank account and open a new one. And being out hundreds of dollars along with the whole reasons I needed the loan in the first place! If they want you to purchase cards at a store weather with their money or yours, it's a scam!

I had withdrawal $200 from my bank checking account. I went to the store and I gave her the money. She gave me back change which should have been $50. She counted the money back to me. When I got back home I counted the money and noticed I was missing $50. I went back to my bank to find out if the teller over there forgot to give me the $50. The manager from my bank looked into it with the teller. He told me she did give me the whole $200 which shows in their accounts when they count the money.
I went back to ** and told her my bank did give me the whole $200. I asked her if maybe if I dropped it the man behind me might have picked it up. I know I did not drop any money. I asked her if she can look at the camera to see and she said there is no camera there. She could not tell me anything because she really doesn't know. Then I went back to take a loan out for $300. She counted it to me but when I got home I counted the money and I was missing $20. I called ** and told her but she said no that she had counted the money in front of me.

So I called back, they had my home address, name, banking account, and routing numbers and my SSN.
He said how much of a loan was I looking for, I said, "Well what was I approved for," the amounts were very vague, he said $2000.00. for $183.00 a month. I said, "Ok, how soon can I get it into my account?" He said within a couple of hours. I said, "Ok, email me the paperwork and let's go." He said, "Well, I need your debit card number." I laughed and said, "Umm, not a chance." He said he needed to verify that the Chase Bank account was in fact mine and due to fraud, they had to make sure I wasn't taking out a loan in someone else's name. I explained that due to FRAUD, I would never give out my debit card number. He told me that I can call and cancel the card, or withdraw all the money from the bank account and he would deposit $500.00 into my account and all I had to do was send it back to him to verify that I have access to the account.
I said, "All you have to do is call my bank and verify my account!" He said he will never call my bank or my work line and then asked for just the last 4 of my debit card. I said nope. During this time I was reading reviews about how much they scam people and he said "well, all those reviews are bad." I said, "Yea, you are a scammer!" He said he would wait till I was done reading so we could continue processing the loan. I said I don't want a loan from him and if he messes with my account I'm calling the cops and hung up. I can't even write this review without laughing hysterically that these people are still in business. I have never gotten a loan from this company. Nonetheless when looking into payday loans is $495 an option for a payday loan. Some schmuck named "Paul" using a GMAIL address claiming to be with Ace Cash America is going to "sue" if I don't pay the $495 by today. Or I can set up a payment plan with Paul and pay him a total of $900 with three installments of $300... Scratching my head too. If I fail to pay this court fees of $4,200 will be waiting for me at "my doorsteps" and I say Paul because who the hell sends a business debt collections email without a phone number to contact anyone at. ** is a ** way to scam people.

Fraudulent emails from individuals claiming to be from ACE Cash Express may be threatening in nature, demand payment for unpaid debts, mention legal action, jail time, and action taken regarding your SSN. These are fraudulent attempts to solicit money, and they are NOT from ACE Cash Express. If you are unsure if an email is from ACE Cash Express, please forward it to customerservice@acecashexpress.com, with your contact information, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you!

Stay away from this non-accredited business. I was alerted by my credit monitoring that a hard inquiry by Ace Cash Express was reported. After going through several phone calls of which no one could tell me anything I was given an email address to write to. All I wanted was for them to remove the inquiry from my report and to send me a Credit Inquiry Removal Letter.
They are being unruly, they did not ask for consent to do a Hard Inquiry which is a requirement, the loan would have been secured via ACH should I have taken it. They will ruin your financial life for 2 years. Imagine going to a bank for a car loan and they see on the traditional 3 major credit bureaus that a payday lender is listed as an inquiry, which is unheard of when it comes to payday lending and small dollar loans, the bank will laugh you out the door. ACE Cash is not an accredited business and gets security from ACH or debit cards as a payday loan lender.
Again there was no consent to do a hard pull from the 3 credit bureaus. They have also without permission pulled money out of my bank account and I have no business with them! STAY AWAY! They need to remove these hard inquiries from my credit files. I do not agree to them. I canceled the loan prior to signing it up, I went to the storefront whom the Manager Shirley? or Cheryl? in Kansas City, KS Stated that ACE cash has never done hard pulls on one's credit file. But they have done so. I will be writing the Texas Attorney General and possibly suing for financial damages. For anyone who got hit with a hard inquiry without consent I suggest contacting the CFSA, the CFPB, lodging a complaint with The Fair Credit Reporting Act under 15 U.S.C. § 1681.

I am writing to you because I have not been able to get through to anyone else regarding my experience with this particular Ace Cash Express store #2014. I went to Ace Cash Express, Oklahoma City, OK to cash a check written to me from my Insurance Company. I have been an Ace customer for years and years. I am in their system and have cashed a check from this Insurance company before for $3200. I paid the huge fees to cash this check, I was asked to bring in several documents to verify my identity, I have a driver's license and I had the phone number to the Insurance Office that wrote me the check (they are located in Missouri) and also the number to verify funds for the check. My check was cashed.
After this very long process I was told that "when you bring in your next installment (2 of 3) from this company, you will have NO problems since I waited 2 hours for them to complete the verification process." I was told, "it's all in the computer". Well, I received my 2nd installment from my Insurance Company and went to Ace. I took it back to the same Ace location and much to my surprise she asked me for all my documents over again, I gave her all my information over again. The CSR Shay got on the phone and verified the check with the company that wrote it and also verified the funds. She then submitted it to someone else. I waited for over an hour for someone to call her back to release the funds. She said she saw where I had cashed a check from the same company a few months prior but It was over the limit of what she could cash so she had to call someone else. She said she had no idea why it would take so long.
Finally, the call came back from her District Manager Kim (the next verifying person saying, "she just wasn't comfortable cashing my check"). All my information was verified, checked and double checked but Ace Representative did not cash the check. I am baffled. I don't want to believe I was racially profiled by Ace but there is absolutely no other explanation for this. No one could give me an explanation since everything was in order.
I called the corporate office and I was told by the receptionist she could not take a message but she could put me into a Supervisor's voicemail, they were all in a meeting. I left a detailed message and have never received a phone call back. I called again and I was told they were all in a meeting. I then decided to write an email to Ace president, I have not received a response. There is no resolve and that's probably why the lazy employees do whatever they want to do with the customers. They don't have to be accountable. This is shady business In Oklahoma.
The guidelines for cashing a check is clearly posted. They also state that it's fast and easy. None of this is true. I am going to continue to pursue this matter of unfair treatment and I advise anyone of color in Oklahoma to not expect an easy process with this location and they make judgment calls based on your RACE!!!! Please post your experience so other can become aware and stop doing business with this company.

After going through several phone calls of which no one could tell me anything I was given an email address to write to. All I wanted was for them to remove the inquiry from my report and to send me a Credit Inquiry Removal Letter. They informed me I would need to file a police report if I didn’t “apply for these loans.” First of all I was never told there were actually loan applications in my name, and certainly nothing specific like when, or where or what information was given.
Am I supposed to go to the police saying “I need to file a report because my identity was stolen” and then say “Based on what evidence?” And I respond with “Ace Cash Express ran my credit without my authorization.” Beware of this company. They obviously either don’t verify anyone’s identity or if they do, they somehow make it your fault/responsibility when they run a fraudulent credit inquiry. I needed a quick payday loan for an emergency to pay back in 4 payments on a set payment schedule. I made first payment on exact due date. The second payment was paid 2 weeks before the due date. The day after the second payment the remaining two payments plus a $20 fee was pulled directly from my checking account. This practice was an illegal draw as I was not past due. I contacted both the home office and the local office demanding they remove the draw on my account as it over drafted my account sending back a regular auto payment which has been set up to pay my monthly utilities every month. The corporate office told me to go to the local office to fix it as they would approve it.
The local office staff person was totally rude and yelling at me blaming me for yelling at her worker (which I was not, just mentioned her name as she set up the original payment plan). If there had not been a glass window stopping her from getting close up to my face I was appalled by her actions as her hands were showing aggression towards me in a threatening way. She insisted that their home office could not approve advancing funds as they do not know the laws. Best advice I can give anyone considering using their company for fast cash in an emergency is to go elsewhere to obtain help since they will draw your funds out of your account at any unapproved time and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

I went into Ace Cash Express on Triskett Rd in Cleveland on Saturday to obtain a payday loan, as I sometimes need to do when my child support is late. The rep there, Bonna, asked me how much I wanted to borrow. I told her that it all depended on when the loan would be due, as I get paid from my job on Thursday (if a loan is paid during a certain period of time, no interest would be required). She told me that - if I paid the loan by Thursday, I wouldn't have to pay any interest. I then told her, in that case, I would borrow $200. Bonna proceeded to complete the paperwork for the loan.
After I was approved for the $200 and I signed all of the loan documents, Bonna then said to me, "Oh, you'll have to pay it back by Wednesday, not Thursday". I asked her how much I would have to pay in interest and she stated $47. I told her (since the initial information was WRONG), that I then only wanted to borrow $100 (because I certainly don't want to pay $47 for such a short period of time). She then snapped, "Now I'm gonna have to do all this paperwork over again!" I told her, "Well, YOU gave me the wrong information about WHEN it would be due!" She then said, "Well, I thought you would already KNOW since you come in all the time!" So, because I come in all of the time gives Bonna an excuse to assume that the consumer should know more than SHE SHOULD??
So, after Bonna huffed and puffed and proceeded to process the $100 loan, she said to me, "You were denied". I said, "What do you mean that I was 'denied' when I was JUST approved for a $200 loan?" She said, "The computer denied you". This was all due to Bonna's error and her need to cancel the first request. So, I had no choice but to leave with no loan - all because Bonna can't do her job correctly. She provided the wrong information, then appeared to be totally CLUELESS when the 'computer' denied it. I was able to go to Advance America down the street and left with my loan. The staff at Advance America was professional and courteous. Please, don't waste your time at Ace Cash Express!!!

I have been contacted by Ace Cash Express and the bogus claim for payment sent to me was a scam. Please if anyone has or will be contacted by these people, please tell them to go jump in the lake. I received an e-mail dated 9/2/16 stating that a lawsuit was being filed against me for an unpaid loan of $740.00. When I requested that Michael ** produce the original signature document, he evaded my request. He continued to state that if it wasn't resolve in 48 hours that they would file with the FTC, FBI, ICS and my employer. I don't recall creating this debt and only wanted to verify that it was indeed created by myself. Because of his unwillingness to provide this requested information I suspect this to be a bogus request. True I did have several payday loans which were part of a bankruptcy in 2012 and I am not going to pay for something that was part of that case. Because of these actions I find this business practice to be unreasonable and troublesome.

I've gone through Ace Cash twice, and both of those circumstances were emergencies. I do the traditional installment loan (pay day loan) method, and I chose the option where they directly take out of my funds. I've also done the (Pay in store) method on my first installment loan. I'm reading a lot of comments how people have trouble with Ace cash, and I haven't. The simplistic way to make your experience easy, is just pay on time. Pay what you owe. You took out the cash, you signed the contract stating; you'd pay X amount which will be paid on X date for so many pay periods.
Regardless if you call them and ask for an extension on the pay date. You probably shouldn't have done the loan agreement in the first place, if you can't pay on the expected date. Don't get a pay day loan. If you pay in cash, always get a receipt and file it away. I can't believe how irresponsible some people can be when getting into these loans. Always leave a paper trail to cover your end just in-case like.
The interest rates are outrageous, and I finish paying off as early as possible if you can afford it. The second one I took out, I'm going through the whole term. I was hoping it'd boost my credit, but after reading on their website and privacy terms and agreement they don't report to the traditional credit bureaus apparently. Again, only get an installment loan if A) It's an Emergency and B) You know you'll make the payments on the expected date, and never take out more than you need!

I've been an Ace customer for years, always paid on time. Twice they debited my account for what I owed. The first because I regrettably relied on their reminder calls for my due date. The second was my last loan. I made payment arrangements to pay a portion on my next 4 pay dates. First due on July 1. It completely slipped my mind to be there in person with cash so they debited my account for the full amount. I was on vacation 6 hours from my home, did some shopping and Saturday my account was negative. I realize this was my mistake and I graciously asked them to please let me finish the payment arrangements and credit my account. I explained I've been a customer for years and that I was now stuck far from home with no way to pay my way home. I will have to miss work which will get me in quite a bit of trouble if not fired. No sympathy at all.
I was told the same thing by three different Ace employees, "You can reloan in 10 days, we do not have the capability to credit an account once we have debited an account". Entirely NOT true. I'm actually stuck away from home until I can reloan this Friday, so they can make more money from me! Terrible terrible business practices. I will be sending a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well. There are other pay day loan companies. They will get my business in the future. And I will be sure to post my predicament on Facebook and warn everyone I can. The only reason they get 1 star is for being decent to work with up until this point.

I chose to take out a payday loan from Ace Cash Express located in Speedway, Indiana back on May 3, 2016. The loan amount was $280 and I was to pay back $321.40 on May 28, 2016. On Saturday May 28, 2016, I went to the store IN PERSON, WITH CASH that was exactly equal to $321.40. I handed the cashier, Kristi, 15 twenty dollar bills, a single one dollar bill, a quarter, a dime, and a nickel. We both chuckled about my having brand new twenties, and both Kristi and myself had a difficult time counting the money as the bills were sticking together. Kristi counted out the money in front of me, agreed that it was the full amount, and asked if I wanted a receipt. I was in a hurry, and asked her if there would be any question as to whether or not I paid. She indicated that there would not be and stated that it wasn't necessary that I took a receipt. I told her that was fine and to have a great day and I was on my way.
I went back to this same location today (Tuesday May 31, 2016) to take out another payday loan. There was a different lady helping me, but I saw that Kristi was present. The lady that was helping me seemed confused and informed me that my loan that was due on May 28, 2016 was still outstanding and had not been paid back. I then informed her that she was terribly incorrect as I had just been in the store three days prior and paid the loan in full. I have taken out several payday loans from this store and have always paid them back on time as promised.
Kristi then chimed in stating that I called on Saturday saying that I would be out of town until June 2, and that I would be in to pay at that time. I told her that that was incorrect, that I remembered dealing with her and she even indicated that she remembered me coming into the store! They proceeded to scramble searching for some sort of receipt/documentation from my transaction but were unable to find anything.
I find this incredibly irresponsible, unacceptable, and I simply cannot wrap my mind around this. I handed this woman $321.40 that has now vanished into thin air? I find it very strange that this Kristi was so adamant that I placed a call indicating that I would be out of town until June 2 (funny because it's May 31st and here I am! In Indianapolis - NOT out of town) but then proceeded to change her story and say that she remembered me. Who in their right mind would walk into a payday loan store three days after a loan outstanding was due, and try to obtain more money from them? I PAID THEM BACK IN CASH, IN FULL, IN PERSON as I was instructed to. What Kristi did with my money after the fact is on her.
Someone needs to pull videos, look at camera footage, SOMETHING. I walked into the store around 12:30 PM on Saturday May 28, 2016 wearing a blue shirt and black pants and I PAID THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE DOLLARS AND FORTY CENTS TO THIS WOMAN. This situation needs to be rectified IMMEDIATELY. This is a place that I have done business with several times and thought I could trust their employees. I clearly thought very wrong!

When I'm signaled over the lady says absolutely nothing to me, doesn't look me in my eye or anything. She didn't bother with greeting me. She had this body language as if to imply I'm bothering her at work type of attitude. That's not my issue at all but it is extremely rude.
My issue is 15 minutes into doing whatever it was she was doing she blurted out "phone number on the back & right thumb on the front". I did that no problem, 10 more minutes after that she going back & forth between two machines helping other people she comes back & tell me "I need to speak with the person who wrote the check before I can cash it." That's the part that I have a major issue with. Regardless if the person who wrote the check is available to pick up the phone (something I would have no control over) that should not stop a check being cashed. I pretty much wasted 30 minutes of my time & the person who gave me a ride. She was all ready to cash it, but then said I need to speak to the person & I couldn't get the person on the phone pretty much on her demand.
I guess the lady thought that everyone operates on her schedule & should be available that day at that particular time to pick up the phone so they can verify who they are for a person trying to cash a check that's in their name & has all the proper identification there would be needed to cash a check that's written to them. I guess she thought that when I decided to pick a day to cash a check the person who wrote it would magically know & be waiting by the phone. So 35 minutes or so sitting in the place & I get nothing for sure except for horrendous customer service. I go to a place called "Ace Check Cashing" to cash a check & the irony is I couldn't cash a personal check because the lady helping me wanted to have a conversation over the phone with the person who wrote the check.

I received a phone call from these people, still don't know why. I presume some sort of debt collection, even though they denied this repeatedly. Anyway, we have a relative with the same name of the person they were looking for, though nothing connects their name to ours, nor address, or phone number. Not even the same state, and they've never been here. The "lady" on the phone (and she does not deserve to be called one) insisted that they received our home phone number as a "personal reference from ** (the name of who they were looking for)".
Well, beyond all the other obvious lies I was told, that relative does not have our home phone number. So this liar did not get it from them, but rather has access to some kind of database or made calls to various phone companies (at least two, if I'm right in why they're connecting our name to theirs) and told them lies to obtain information. Obviously, they still don't care what the FDCPA says. Maybe rather than a paltry 10 million dollar judgment, it should have been 10 billion.

She stated that if I didn't take care of this today I would be arrested by 1pm and they would come to my job, my family's homes and also mine to execute this warrant. When I told her I had no idea what she was talking about she stated that this was fine, she was going to still proceed with legal issues and have the warrant issued because she stated that I was ABOVE the law as she put it. She then hung up the phone on me. I called her back and told her that I wanted to put on record and recorded line that I did not want her to contact my family or me anymore regarding this. IF I have ever had a loan with ACE Cash Express, it would have had to have been 10 years ago or more as I do not use banks anymore. Interesting how much you can save without banking fees and overdraft charges. Anyway, about once a month, I get an email from ACE threatening that charges will be filed against me if payment is not made "today." It has a letterhead to make you think it is a legitimate legal form -- yet is never served by certified mail or a process server -- just through email. Even if I did owe the amount stated, I would hesitate to send it to them because the grammar used tells me that this is not a professional attorney's office -- more likely coming from another country.
For example, one line reads: If you do not take immediate action we will be forced to download this case against you and once it is downloaded the creditor has entire rights to inform your employer regarding this and if you are found guilty under the bench of jury then you have to bear a lawsuit which will be a penalty of $4515.85 and your bank account will be closed. It will be totally levied upon you and that would be excluding your bail charges, your attorney charges and the due amount pending on your name $1207.86.
The long run-on sentence and poor punctuation leads me to believe that this is not from an actual attorney. In addition, it is signed simply "United States Attorney" with no name or contact phone number. In all of my years dealing with attorney correspondence, every attorney takes every opportunity to put their name and phone number on mail that they send out. I believe this to be a scam.

Got a email saying I was approved for a $8000. I talked to John ** from Dallas, TX. Phone numbers he called me by were ** and **. He called and told me I was ready to get my money, just sign the online papers to finalize it. I signed the papers I needed to sign and sent them back to him. He called me back on a Friday, asked me to go buy a Green Dot card, put $360 on it to verification I could make the payments. Then he took my information for my bank to direct deposit it my checking account. Well it was late on Friday so I asked him to do it Monday morning so I knew it would be in there before my bank closed on Monday. Monday come around, it wasn't deposited. So I called him, he did. I had to pay a insurance for $575 and put it on a Green Dot card again because I had bad credit. Which I did cause I do. Then he told me that he couldn't put it in my account, got some reason. So we went Moneygram and I had to pay more money.
Next day he said that there was some red flags and we couldn't go that way either. So he said to pay more money for Western Union. I paid the money for the Western Union and he sent me a MTCN which was too many numbers. Then he sent me another one which was not a good one at all. As I'm talking to him about the numbers not being valid I get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS and my money was on hold till I paid the IRS over a $1000. Which I don't the IRS. So I talk to John again, he said I can't, that I had to settle the IRS thing. I told him I don't have a problem with them. So I told him I wanted to cancel my loan and to send me a certified check of my money I paid in. He told me that I had to pay either $350 to get my money or $450 to get my money plus the loan. I told him I wasn't paying another dime since he already took me for over $2000.
A week later he called me back giving me a sad story about him losing his job if I didn't finalize the loan since it was still open. So he tried to deal with me and offered to pay $250 himself and I pay $250. Then when he gets his next check he would send my $250 back to me. But I would get a check for almost $1200. I didn't send the money and haven't heard from him since about it. So now I'm out over $2000 and behind on my bills because he guaranteed me loan plus the money I paid in to get the loan.

I stop in again - once again I was told it was paid in full; I didn't have a loan there. I go on vacation, get home & get multiple calls from Ace collections. I spoke to a lady, went made a payment. Not only made a payment 2 days before I said I would but gave more than I said. Only to have 3 more collectors call me. I call to talk to someone about this being their mistake & no luck - just a huge runaround. I took the loan to help my credit, instead it's made things worse. The customer service is great at the store in Leesburg, FL. The staff was non-judgemental and made the process quick and easy. Unlike Amscot, you do not need to continually borrow to raise the amount you can borrow. I was approved for the amount they estimated I could borrow and we able to borrow the max amount the FIRST time I went. They aren't very apt on extensions though. I remember looking up the website, but it was much easier to just call the store and asked them what you needed to bring in.

Anyways he told me that I needed to show him 275.00 for my payment that will be taken out to pay for the loan. So he told me to go to a CVS store and to pick up a visa dot green card. And he told me to put $275 on the card. He later then told me that I needed to pay $365.00 for another visa dot green card, for an insurance installment fee to process my credit score. He told me that the loan will be transferred into my checking account will be $3640.00. He later then told me that the money would be in my account within 30-45 min to an hour, when I noticed that it wasn't in my account. I gave a call back to him and he told me that the money couldn't be transferred because they don't transfer to Hawaii. The only way he told me to get this money I would have to pay $252.00 for the fee, to do a money gram or through Western union.
I later then told him I didn't have the money, so this dated for 7-10-2015 through 7-12-2015. On 7-28-2015 I called him to cancel my loan but he reinstated that I don't cancel because I will lose my money. So he told me to buy a $300.00 visa dot green card to pay for my fee to get the transfer of $3640.00 wired into my account, that same day within 30-45 min. I asked him if I needed to do a moneygram or western union he told me "No". And that it will be transferred into my account and promised me that it was the last time to dish out any money.
After I noticed that it didn't go through in my account I called him back and said what's happening, so he lied to me and said I needed to pay another fee of $250.00 for the money gram and western union. He told me that the money gram people will call me back within 10-15 min for reference number. I didn't receive a phone call from them, so I called Mack back and he told me that "They didn't call you back?" And I said "No". So he told me to hold on for about 10 min and later told me that I needed to buy another visa dot green card for $220.00. And I told him why would I have to pay that amount for. He told me that I needed to open an account with them. I got upset and told him that's a lot of money that I have to pay. So he told me that would be the last time I have to do it. But I am so fed up with these lies. I got more furious and told him this is a scam, and if I don't get my money back, I will not hesitate to sue Ace Cash Express.

On July 8, 2015, I applied for an Installment Loan for $3400.00 with Ace Cash Express in which I was approved for. On July 9, 2015, I received an email asking for my paystub, which I emailed to them. On July 10, 2015, Ace stated that they could not accept paystub because it was not a "pdf" document, but it was. On July 11, 2015, Ace sent me an email stating that I had 30 days from July 11, 2015 to accept the loan for $3400.00. On July 15, 2015, I sent Ace an email stating that I was accepting the loan for $3400.00, but every time I attempted to provide Ace documents, they rejected them for no reason.
On July 15, 2015, an hour after I sent Ace the email stating that I would accept the loan for $3400.00, I was advised by Ace in a reply email that my loan had "expired" and was withdrawn on July 10, 2015, and that I needed to reapply. On July 15, 2015, after I received the email from Ace stating that my loan for $3400.00 had expired and was withdrawn on July 10, 2015, I faxed Ace a letter with all the emails indicating they were incorrect and that I wanted them to fund my loan based on the approval on July 8, 2015 and the email of July 11, 2015, stating I had 30 days to accept my loan for $3400.00.
I did not hear back from Ace, so on July 16, 2015, I reapplied for a loan with Ace and they denied my application for "insufficient credit experience" which is false, because I have a mortgage loan, 2 car loans, a few visa and mastercard credit cards that have never been late, and they had already approved my loan on July 8, 2015 for $3400.00 without any excuses whatsoever. Ace reneged on my loan that they had approved on July 8, 2015 without any valid reasons. Ace Cash Express is a fraud and bad news, and I am going to report them to the proper authorities with all my emails that show that they had approved me for a loan in the amount of $3400.00, then backed out for no valid reason, and then denied me when I tried to reapply again, per their instructions.

On Friday I filled out a form online. After reading an email the form said something about "immediate cash". I had previously been approved for 1900 months ago so I didn't think I had to go through hoops again (I decided it was too expensive to pay back 900 a month. So I never took that loan). Anyway I clicked their email link from a solicitation and applied for enough to get us by 200 and was approved online for 200. Then they embarrassingly make me do a 3 way call to my bank. Ok fine. Anyway they approved me and the rep said within 48 hours I should have it or go to the store now. I was going to go to a CE store Friday but after hanging up got this explicit text promising 24 to 48 hours...
ACE Cash: “Congrats! Your loan is approved. You may pick up cash today at an ACE store or your funds will be deposited in 24-48 hrs. Text QUIT to stop texts.” So payday is Tuesday and we needed money Sunday as I only had $1.14 in my bank but figured 48 hour wait we could survive till Sunday night... I was especially needing it Monday for gas and groceries. Sunday came and went and I looked online to see what the issue was and found someone saying on web it might be Monday at midnight due to the weekend... now I am worried.
Monday morning I can't sleep from worry. Got up at 3am and am so worried it’s not there yet. Then at 5am I call. The first rep says it was sent to my bank. I thank them and hang up and call Wells. They say nope. I call back and a new rep says it will be between 12 midnight on Monday to noon... So I have to go to work so I put 1.5 gallons of old lawnmower gas in my car. Noon passes. No money. 2pm I call and a new rep says hours of business days so might be tomorrow. I ask to speak to Supervisor. They conference in bank who says “nope.”
He says it’s in my contract but I have the 24/48 hour text and verbal said same when rep verified bank and congratulated me. Supervisor did not care. Just offered a complaint line. I begged for change at work to put 80 cents of gas in car (very embarrassing) and the gauge it went below empty as I drove the 28 miles home scared to death and no air condition in 100+ heat index to help me make it less work on engine. This is very deceitful to get a text like that. I am embarrassed and feel taken advantage of because if they just told me truth I would have need able to plan things better and picked it up at a store or another option on Friday. Horrible uncaring people.

After standing in line behind one person for over 15 minutes or more, I presented my payroll check to be cashed on a Saturday just before 4:00 pm. The first question I was asked was, "Why did you wait so late?" which I thought was odd -- the reason was because my check was delivered by mail at about 3:30 pm -- but what the heck, it's not like they were closing soon.
I have cashed several checks there before, issued by the same company I work for, and sometimes need access to the money after banking hours, and that is what is great about cash checking places. The person behind the counter make me go through all the stuff, signing the back of the check of course, and putting my thumbprint on the check. After much talk back and forth, about her needing to call someone at the company to verify the check is good -- which the only option I had was to call the manager on her day off to verify this. Since I could not get her number from 411 she said she could not cash it. I could see on the computer screen the long list of previous checks I have cashed there and just can't understand why this one is such a problem. It was even less than others.
So here is the worst part. I requested my check and Drivers License back and she REFUSED! She said she had to get permission to give it back to me. If I had not forgotten my phone I may have called the police at that point because now I was really stuck because she wouldn't cash or give it back. This took an hour! She did finally give the check back to me, but would not give me the copies of my ID or checks back that she made -- which, since we didn't do business, I believe Ace has no right to have those records.
The thing is, this was the second time I had such problems and had to go down the street to Amscot who charges more, but are very efficient and give Tootsie Rolls while we wait. Other times where I did successfully get a check cashed, it always takes sooooo long for them to make calls to get an "RA" number from someone on the phone if it is over that particular employee's limit of what they can decide to cash themselves.
I have a person I sometimes pay by check to help me with work. He uses Ace check cashing and they ALWAYS approve my checks. I write to him and tell him they never have a problem with me. It's nice. They will cash a check I write -- but they won't cash a check I earned. There was also a lady at the next window having the same problem and I overheard that the amount of her check was less than $500.00.
If you want a check cashed and don't feel like hanging around a small building with just two folding chairs for anyone waiting -- don't go to the Ace on Ridgewood Ave. in Daytona Beach, FL. Amscot is just up ISP at Nova. I am sad to have to write this because there is a ** that works there that can seem to get checks cashed. If she is not there, forget it. Don't they make money cashing checks? How can they be so inconsistent? I'm just so angry.

I was contacted by email in regard to a loan I owed for. I asked for verification but all they did was threaten with arrest. As I was scared and felt I had no choice I made arrangements to pay. Had to pay by MoneyGram at Wal-Mart. I had to contact them while at the store to get account information. When payment was processed I had to immediately call them with reference number.
After two payments they said the debt was accepted that I only owed "out of court" and "no due certificate" fees of $344. I made arrangements to pay those in two payments. I continued to be harassed and threatened if this was not paid. I was unable to make the payments and upon requesting further information and confirmation of any of this as well as more information in person who had been contacting me I told them I was going to contact FTC and BB, was told not to contact him again!
I did get a very unprofessionally written email from attorney ** telling me the warrant would be issued. I asked for his state bar number and proof as well but did not receive anything either! This week I got an email from someone totally different in regard to this. I once again asked for proof. So far, nothing. I have contacted both FTC and BB. Of course, they say they have proof 14 ways from Sunday but after repeated requests for proof, I have received nothing but threats of seizing my bank accounts. Ace has consistently failed to keep this promise which resulted in me having to pay late fees to my debtors totaling $50 or more each time ace elite fails to keep their 2 day promise to pay. When I address this issue to ace elite as well as MetaBank, I get an "oh well" type of response from both companies. I recommend to all ace elite card holders, if you are serious about paying your bills, by all means avoid purchasing an ace elite card and go to a real bank or credit union. By the way, you will also be charged a $9.00 fee each payday to withdraw YOUR MONEY from these people. This is on top of whatever late fees you may incur due to ace and MetaBank paying you late.

If you are not a senior and/or disabled, simply copy and paste the email with address and fill out the "Internet Crimes Complaint" section of FBI.Gov.
Let Ace Cash Express (or whomever is pretending to be them) see a copy of your email to ADA or the FBI and let them know you would like to persecute to the fullest extent (federal criminal charge) and request an investigation. Lead them to this and other sites with complaints about the firm, and generally they will do so. Thanks. Hope that helps. FYI: I sent Ace Cash Express a CC and have not heard back hours later. I just wanted some cash in my pocket for the weekend, as my online bank doesn't release funds until 24 hours after deposit, and the company's issuing bank was a 90 min bus ride.
After filling out a yellow card that included supplying two references, I was told that because the phone number wasn't answered by a person and went to voicemail that my check could not be cashed. "Can't you verify funds with the company's bank?" I asked. I was told no and that's when the attitude started. She called her regional manager and informed them that I was being a "difficult customer". Keep in mind 10 min has gone by already. After insuring I had my check and ID in hand, I sarcastically said I would let her get back to "all her customer anxiously awaiting the same glorious customer service".

My husband borrowed ~$200 a year and a half ago at the beginning of his downward spiral into drug addiction. After several letters and phone calls from ACE Cash Express's collection department, I called them asking them to no longer call my number. I explained to them that my husband had not only lost his job two months after borrowing money from them, but had lost everything and was a homeless drug addict. I researched my rights before this and told them I knew my rights - I was not financially responsible for a debt my husband signed alone & that I never saw a penny of the money. They said they would remove my number from their call list. Over the last year, I have received many calls which I never answer from a collector threatening lawsuits and criminal action over this debt. And have heard from my husband's cousin, she got a call a year ago from someone claiming my husband was being tracked down for identity theft and fraud.
It wasn't until last week when this collection agency started calling my parents claiming the same that I returned their calls on 1/7/2015 demanding they to stop calling & spreading lies about my husband to family. This collector flat out said he will not stop calling until the debt was paid & tried everything to scare me into paying them $510.22 or I would be responsible for thousands when they take my husband & I to court, charging us with malicious intent to defraud and several other charges. I was shocked because I knew my rights yet this collector who claims to be Robert ** from D & S & Associates 1 (844) 259-8344 yelled, threatened, and lied, trying to scare me into paying. I told him I would be contacting my lawyer which only caused him to threaten me more & hang up on me. I called back asking for their information to give to my lawyer and they refuse to send us any information or give their mailing address, saying "Our process server will be there in the next day or two with the information", which hasn't happened by the way. My lawyer said this company broke several laws giving out personal information of my husband to people, making threats, and refusing to remove our numbers, all violated the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.
My lawyer advised me to send them a letter formally requesting for them to desist all phone calls to my family. I called ACE Cash Express on 1/7/2015, got their collection departments number 1(888)753-2355. I spoke to a manager, Tracy, asking for the address of the collector they sold my husband's debt to so I could take action against this company for harassment. I was told this was personal information and they could only give this information to my husband. I told her my lawyer said by law, collectors have to give their information like address and her refusal to give me this information was not acceptable, considering they gave my number to this collection agency who is refusing to stop harassing me. I was told her manager had already left for the day and was sent to her manager, Adrean ** (ext. **) to leave a message. After two days, I still have not received a response from ACE Cash Express. I have tried to find information on the collection agency harassing me, but can not find any information on them. My lawyer says they probably gave me false information about their company name, so that I cannot go after them for harassment.
I will continue calling ACE Cash Express until they give me the information. If the threatening calls do not stop over a $200 debt that is not mine, I will be more than glad to spend thousands to hold ACE Cash Express and the collection agency they are protecting accountable to the law. My husband owes over $20,000 in debt to varying companies and I have never been treated with such deplorable unlawful behavior!!!

On 11/25 I Angela called Ace to have my card ending in ** block because I notice it was missing. The rep on the phone would not block the card because she claim I was not on the account. Well I have made changes to this account since early 2000. So I hung up and tried to go online and block it, then a unauthorized transaction from U-HAUL for 531.29 was taken from my account. This would not have happen if the rep would have block the card. So I called back and got another rep. I demand to talk to a manager. I got the runaround, then they put me on hold for over 45 min. Then I got a James manager online explaining to me I have to call the merchant and have them cancel the pending transaction.
I explain to him No merchant cancels a transaction. I told him that since it was pending or posted he still should be able to credit my account. Other banks have done it. So I told him I will call U-HAUL and ask them to cancel the transaction. I knew this was wasting my time calling these people. Then James gave me his extension to call him back since we discuss the account in detailed. I called U-HAUL and spoke to a Melody ** I think, she also lied like Ace and said that per their policy they could not cancel the transaction. All lies. Then she hung up on me.
So I called Ace back and got another rep telling me he can't transfer the call to James extension because they can't do that. So why did James the supervisor lied to me and gave me his extension. More lies. Then this rep put me on hold after I discuss the issue again. I was on hold for almost an hour. Then I got another supervisor, her name started with a M. I explain to her that other banks credit the account then investigate. She lied and claim ACE could not do that. I told her yes, if it is pending or posted the bank can credit it back to my account. So she credit the 531.29 back to my account. So we ended the call.
Then on 11/26 that night I was at Target and notice there was a transaction out of my account of 431 and some change from U-HAUL again. I could not believe we were broke. I thought since the card was block this could not happen again. So I called ACE again and got another rep. telling me that there was no way to stop the transaction since it was original post on 11/25. Well I could not believe what I was hearing. I told them thanks but no thanks. They called me back in a few hours telling me that they could give me the amount I wanted, but FIRST they had to put a test amount into my bank account. I told them repeatedly that it was weird and I didn't want to do it. The guy said it was perfectly legit; he just had to put the small amount in, and then I would refund it back and they would be able to give me the loan. Against my better judgement, I finally said ok. I figured I would just give them back their money and be done with them. Nope. The money came - $360 (weird, right?) and they called me to say I had to get a green dot pack from Walmart to send them their money back. What?? I told them this was just too shady for me and that I was calling my bank, which I promptly did. Since then, these guys have been blowing up my phone. Lesson learned. And, no loan.

I received a fraudulent email from a company claiming to be ACE. When I contacted ACE, they quickly assured me that they had NOT sent the email and to disregard it. After reading through a lot of these comments, it seems as if there are two new types of scams out there that target their customers. The first is an offer for a loan, which first requires customers to put a "deposit" on a money dot moneypak card. They then ask for the code that allows them to take this money under the pretense of "verifying" that the deposit has been made. They take the money and tell you they need more money to complete the loan, and if you don't then the money they already took cannot be refunded. I'm assuming they keep asking for money as long as the person keeps giving it to them.
The second claim to be ACE debt collectors who are threatening to send your account to collections and/or sue you unless you pay them the money "you owe". I only point this out because it seems many many people are giving ACE a 1 star review because some other non-related scammer is using their name to try to cheat them. If you think this may be happening to you, just call ACE at the number listed on their website (or Google it).
The horrendous grammar and the threats to put your SSN on hold (which means what exactly?) should be a tell tale sign. Any customer communication that goes out probably has to go through a pretty rigorous legal review and would not contain so many mistakes. Be smart and don't get fooled. And please report these types of emails/calls where they belong...with the Attorney General.

I was contacted by Ace loans, I was offered a 2000 dollar loan after I needed to prove I had $200 saving. I had to purchase a money dot moneypak and show that I had $200 after I was told to give them 11 numbers and they would not touch the money, just needed to prove that it was in there then it was taken out and transferred to a different account. Call them back, they said I needed to pay a hundred and seven dollars and I will receive my loan, if not the money was gone and they could not help me.

I keep receiving emails from ACE Cash Service demanding that I pay them money which they claim I owe for an old payday loan. $300.00 is the amount I am supposed to have borrowed. I am being billed for the $300.00 on one email, $950, $857 on my other email accounts. My bank account and debit card were compromised (2) times. I do not believe I owe this money because I only borrow from the VIP loan company. They will not take my debit card and insist I pay with a "Green Dot" cash card which is highly regarded as a Red Flag for fraud. Beware of them. No one in the company can speak or write the proper English language which is another red flag.

First off my first experience was great, got a payday loan and paid it back in 4 installments and it was perfect for my tight financial situation. I then decided to get another payday loan and use the same installment plan to pay back the loan, but they failed to communicate to me that you can only do the installment plan once a year! Information that would of been good to know before getting the loan, then said they can extend it till the 31st which again was the wrong information. So I emailed the customer service department and got an email back stating that they would waive the Finance charge and it would be due in the 30th, neither one of these is going to help me and now I'm in a hard spot due to their horrible communication with customers. I would not recommend ace cash express unless you get everything in writing and don't take anything anyone on the phone says to be correct.

This is a notice regarding someone sending me fake emails from ace cash express saying I owed them money on my payday loan. I did not open the docs they sent, copied the loan # then googled the company. They had me send the emails. Fake, I did not give out any information regarding this email. Be Careful, ACE said they do not send threatening emails to anyone. I was pleased with the immediate response I received from them. Hope This helps someone.

I have been getting e-mails from company since 11/5/2013. They have failed to show any proof or been able to send any information in regards to loan. The only communication has been them leaving e-mails and nasty voice messages. When I ask about paper work they state that I’m to tell them my address but they say that they have all information on me. So I assumed that they have address. They have repeatedly been calling and e-mailing me on a daily basis and have made threats and used vulgar language on more than one occasion. They have even called my employer on more than one occasion. On March 26, 2014 I have sent an e-mail stating that they are to only communicate through e-mail and to stop calling me at home and place of employment and did not receive any reply to said e-mail. A mister ** (rep of ace payday loan) told my employer to suck his **.
Updated on 03/11/2015: Supposedly I got a loan from this place. Over a year and a half I have requested a print out or some other proof. All they can say is verify my address. Well if they have my info then why verify? They call none stop and even threaten me and say vulgar remarks to my employer. To this day I still have not received any documents.

PLEASE DO NOT let them are you in to paying an Exorbitant amount of money!

After I was e-mailed info for a loan that I had not requested from Ace Cash Express, I e-mailed back I would accept $2,000 for 12 months at 10% interest. I called back to the number e-mailed to me, and a "Paul **" said I could have $3,000 for 18 months for a payment of $183.33! BUT, I had to fax a ok and/or cb and give permission for them to look at my account info at my credit union to "verify" that I had $183.33 in my checking account. Then I went home after work (I was told to cb 10/17/2014 with permission). I smelled a "scam" so I went on Ace site and found 65 complaints. SO NO GO. I will advise CU on 10-16-2014 not to allow ACE to look or access my account. Same guy/scenario as on two other complaints. Praise the Lord for good folks who put their experiences on-line so others can see the fraud. AND FURTHER, according to the ACE site, installment loans are NOT even available in Wisconsin!!!!

I received an email yesterday from Ace Cash stating that there was evidence I had taken out a loan for $300. The balance owed is $846.52 and if I don't pay within 48 hours then I will be taken to court and have to pay almost $5,000. I have never dealt with Ace Cash, never heard of this company. He told me that the company cannot provide documents until a payment was made. I tried to call the number that began with an 843 area code. I kept getting a busy signal. I believe this is a scam and needs to be dealt with soon.

I received an email stating that I owe $949.37 to this company. They threaten to have me arrested and said I would be appointed an attorney if I chose to contest this. I have never done business with this company. I called and the man has a very deep mid eastern accent which is almost impossible to understand. But one thing he made very clear is he wants banking information. Do these people really think Americans are that naive to give out that info?? I have turned this over to my local P.D.
