The information was very helpful but I have to say I am nervous not knowing the for sure outcome of the results as my creditors haven’t been contacted yet and I don’t know the terms officially. I would give full stats if I knew everything was squared away at the moment.

I finally made the decision I needed to do something to get rid of some debt. The interest payments are negating any progress I try to make. Accredited has taken a good look at where I stand and proposed a plan to a solution. They have been super wonderful to work with, polite, non-judgmental and professional. Well I was kind of skeptical at first cause I didn't really know what to expect! But when Mario got on the phone but put my mind at ease really quick and walked me through every step of the way. I would recommend.

It sort of snowballed.. One catastrophe after another.. Husband needing 3 surgeries, children, vehicles, pets, holidays. etc. And one day you wake up with a negative balance in your account, overwhelming fear because money is a means for survival so not having it feels like a threat to your life. The onboarding process was excellent. You get a lot of information and the representatives are very understanding. What they don’t tell you is how much the program is going to cost and that Five Lakes will take 27% of your money in fees on every account they settle. And the money comes out before the creditor is paid. I’ve read all the reviews on Trustpilot and the BBB without finding one individual who completed the program and had a positive review. I noticed that all the 5 star views were from the initial interaction during the onboarding process.

Kori ** was kind, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. She broke down every part of the program and made sure that I understood all of it. She listened to my concerns and never made me feel less than because of the situation I was in. She is a real person who understands other people‘s real problems and I can tell she likes to help people and works hard doing so.

I had called Accredited on 12/12/2025 to learn about reducing credit card debt. Aaron ** was very patient, stayed on the phone with me and explained options. I was approved for the 57 month program to eliminate 5 credit cards. This was a great experience to learn about options to deal with high interest credit cards. Our total credit card debt increased a lot this year due to increased costs on finishing our basement. My wife and her brother shared interest in their family business. She sold a building which was her share. About $26,000 ended up on American Express and Home Depot cards, that was planned to be paid in cash. We were current on everything, even paying a little more than minimums. My credit score had dropped to about 690, and I was still needing to use credit cards too much for groceries, gas and a few monthly bills.

The credit or financial counselors do their best to make you feel bad about your debt. I have no late bills or debt in collections, and they did their best to make me feel like I was in a worse situation then I was. She probed and prodded for 30 mins to try to make me feel bad about my situation. I ended the call because I reached out to look for a consolidation loan, not to be berated. They try to shame you into signing on with them, there is a better organization or way to manage your debt options!

It’s not easy asking for help, I had originally gone with another company, and after a nagging feeling that it was not the right choice I looked a little deeper.
