I will never use Visionworks again. I paid for top end lens and it took three different eye exams and three sets of different lens. There were continual mixup of orders , RXs, etc. My 100 days of return was almost up when I received my 3rd set. Now I realize why they off the 100 day return!!

First, I need to repeat comments I have made before on the staff that runs the office on Colonial and Hiawassee, Orlando, Florida. Each employee at this office is all that any company needs. Polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. They each do their best to aid all clients.....but the Lab that provides them with service and products is truly making many mistakes. My biggest complaint is that I've already over exceeded my 100 days of service and my glasses are still not accurate. Actually, as I'm submitting this complaint, I still don't have glasses, which I paid in full 3 months ago. I've had to return at least 3 pairs. I do like complaining to the employees at the store, they do all they can to try and correct the problems. Some kind of research needs to be done regarding the labs that are filling the scripts. I will no longer use this company because of the products that are not accurate.

Beware. They rotate the staff and will quote a price and then not put it in writing. Then when you return to work with another rep, you get a surprise on increase pricing. Since that is where I went due to insurance, I was forced. I had just my lenses replaced ($490). I gave them my $500 frame (new, never worn) to have them break it and not able to replace. I had to go to a different location due to brand selection to be given nothing for my inconvenience to have to drive another 45 minutes one way. They won't give an itemize receipt, just one price with codes, even though I requested it. They don't want you to know what you are paying for.

No apologies for my inconvenience or compensation for it. I had to take a lesser price frame and overcharged almost $100 for the same lenses I could have gotten at another vendor, as I called to confirm pricing from a company I had used for the same brand (Maui). On top of this the delay in getting my glasses, as I have no current glasses for my new script and leaving to travel.

Totally disappointed with service attitude! I pay a lot of money for my glasses and when I come in for adjustment even after a year I do not want to hear: "Just so you know it is always possible when doing adjustment they could break (which I understand) and you will be responsible for repair." Oh no, I bought the glasses there, expensive and within less than two years. So if a tech is a little too aggressive with adjustment and glasses break, I am NOT paying for repair. Service tech did not have a welcoming attitude. I wish I would asked her name. All I know is she started in May. I have been coming to Visionworks for many years, though, I do plan on looking elsewhere.

By far the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. Made a appointment. Waited 3 weeks for them to cancel on the day of the appointment. Then wanted me to wait another 3 weeks to get a new appointment. They canceled because I didn't answer my phone why I was at work. Place is a joke. I wouldn't recommend it to my worsted enemy. Don't waste your time because they will.

I have Medicare. On 4/7/2026 I visited the store in Woodbridge NJ. Staff is amazing. Service is awesome. Why bad review? I had to pay 19.00$ for a Screen Retinal Photos. They said insurance doesn't pay after payment. They size me for glasses progressive lens scratch, insurance price was $389.00. No down payment. All upfront. Well I left and when to doctor GeiGer in Perth Amboy NJ on smith st same machine. That's how they get something payment. Well they size me for glasses and getting more price $120 down payment $40.00 so head to Perth amboy NJ on Smith ST.

Updated on 05/20/2026: It’s been over a month and no glasses! They told me 2 weeks and now the delivery date is 6 weeks later than my exam.

Original Review: I arrived at my 10:20 appointment and spent over two hours at the Visionworks location. Several other individuals also had appointments scheduled for the same time. The staff seemed more focused on their iPads than on attending to my needs as a customer. There was no concern shown for my requirements. Furthermore, I received no explanation regarding my covered benefits, and the wait time for a new pair of glasses was an unacceptable two weeks.

This was my first time as a a customer. I got there early like 830am. Appt was at te . The date was 03/26/2026. I was excited to see another eye doctor, after the previous one disrespected me. Well Tousif was very welcoming, he said go ahead and sign in cause I was about to wait. He was very friendly. Gave me tray to pick glasses on the wall before my exam. I picked them then my name was called. I went back for eye exam. I do have to see a eye specialist for cataract. I had my glasses on 4/10/26. I was more happy than you know. I cried to be able to see clearly again. I'm older. My eyes are different. I had only been wearing readers until I found a good doctor. When I put those glasses on everything was clear. Eyes are very important to all of us. So Thank you Tousif for making me feel at home. The staff was wonderfully that day, I know some days are harder than others.

The eye doctor here at Visionworks on Route 22 is very, very nasty. She really doesn’t care about the patients at all.
