I can't stress enough how ridiculous the service fee is. I can almost guarantee the seller doesn't get the complete sale price, and even if they do it is still RIDICULOUS, shame on you guys and the NFL.

The customer service agent I chatted with assured me that someone else would get back to me, but I have not heard from anyone at Vivid Seats yet. The tickets I purchased were misleading and not what was described to me. The description was incorrect, and I did not receive what I thought I was purchasing.

I purchased tickets for a comedy show because I first seen the tickets advertised on their website. Looking for additional information about the show I went to the venue website and realized I was charged double the price for the tickets and an extra $100 for delivery of the tickets that had to be picked up at the venue the day of the show. Be careful because I paid $298 for two tickets while the 2 persons sitting next to me paid $150 for two tickets.

We offer a platform that connects fans like you with folks who have their own limited amount of tickets they've obtained from the venue that they wish to resell. They get to set the ticket price (the amount excluding any applicable taxes and fees), and that price can be higher or lower the face value (original price set by the venue) based on live market supply and demand. We charge a service fee on every order just like any other ticket site, and this is the portion of your order we use to cover our costs of operation. Your order also included a legally-required sales tax for this transaction, which was part of the additional cost. Since the seller has to personally arrange for you to be able to pick up your tickets, there is a delivery fee involved for Will Call pickup to cover any expenses incurred to ensure a smooth delivery for you. We hope that this helps to clarify the discrepancy between the amount you paid and the amount that others may have paid for the same event, and that you still had a wonderful night out at the show!

I've gone to Atlanta Braves spring training the last several years. I use Vivid to find my tickets. Your site is easy go use (even for a non techie like me), and I learned last year that the system works fine at the game. Prices were competitive and it was easy to see location of seats. I'm confident it will work just as well this year.

My only complaint about using Vividseats.com is the fees associated with buying tickets. They are out of hand. Sometimes they are up into the hundreds of dollars. This seems like highway robbery. In some places it is actually illegal. If these got under control, It would be a much more desirable place to buy tickets.

Good place to buy tickets and some lower fees compared to others. Just a little pricey sometimes to compensate for lower fees I imagine. Overall love it though! There's a lot of events and parking passes for events. This is the only ticket place I use and I appreciate the service they provide.

Vivid Seats is a scam, they sell fraudulent tickets to people and cancel their tickets that people bought at the last minute. Never do business with this website. Please research other reviews and you'll see it's a reoccurring problem for many people who purchased tickets from this site.

Let me start off by saying that this company has great customer service. But I would like to shine light on the wonderful lady named Nicole who helped me with a very stressful situation. She was kind and patient! She made sure to not only accommodate me but she also went above and beyond to make sure my overall concert experience was the best one. She stayed on the phone with me till my ticket passed and I was actually in the venue. That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days! DO NOT PURCHASE PARKING PASSES. You will never receive the QR code that the parking garage attendant NEEDS to scan AND Vivid Seats WILL NOT refund regardless of their 100% satisfaction and “vetted” sales. Once you get the email saying your purchase was accepted and the transfer was made. That's it. No refund possible EVEN THOUGH YOU NEVER RECEIVED THE PARKING PASS WITH QR CODE.

Our company is not affiliated with Ticketmaster and thus our app does not have any integration with Ticketmaster transfers, which is why your pass did not appear on our mobile app. You would have needed to accept your ticket transfer via the emailed invite link sent to you through Ticketmaster or Live Nation, or otherwise logged into or signed up with Ticketmaster or Live Nation to locate the parking pass.

If I could give Vivid Seats no stars I would. We bought Bryson Tiller tickets for October 18 in Albany. We spent $620.00 for 4 tickets. The morning of the concert Vivid seats reseller decided to resell my tickets. Can you say Scam. The buyer is not protected. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use vivid seats. If you get scammed you will have no recourse. Customer service does not care about the customer.

We never resell your tickets without your consent as you must create a listing yourself to be able to sell your tickets on our platform. If you see that your tickets were sold via Ticketmaster, then your account may have been compromised during the recent Ticketmaster breach and an unauthorized party may have sold your tickets without your consent or knowledge. We would greatly appreciate your reply to our private message so we can follow up with you and ensure you've received an appropriate resolution.

Vivid Seats has been fantastic. The only site I will ever use to get my tickets and I love the perks I receive for buying tickets. The go to place to get tickets. I have about 5 friends that have signed up and also get their tickets through vivid seats because of how highly I talked about y’all.

Accidentally placed an order for seats to a football game while researching different options. I realized my accidental purchase right away as I needed to update the quantity from 2 to 4 seats. I had called Vivid a day later due to them being closed then a death of a friend. I explained the situation and wanted to buy more seats or cancel and rebook etc. I explained that I understood there all sales final statement which by the way is very small print compared to other sites like Ticketmaster. They were unwilling to help and told me to resell the tickets. Which then I realized the scam.
I paid a lot for good tickets but there was no seat number, barcode or any detailed information. Because of this I can’t resell the tickets because the 5 sites I tried all require detailed ticket information which makes sense. I called Vivid back and again completely unhelpful. They told me that they can’t give me the seat numbers because I didn’t “own them”. Told the person I paid over $1600 I am pretty sure I own these tickets. Anyways I filed a claims suit for their fraud. Terms are terms and I get that. But unwillingness to help in a mistake is not a good company. Plus they sold me tickets which appear not to exists since they can’t give me any information or confirmation.
We see that you're frustrated with your experience and regret that. We’d like to clarify some confusion regarding the tickets as well. The reason that the seat numbers are unavailable now is because the tickets haven’t been released yet, not because you don’t own them. Once the tickets have been released, you’ll be able to view that information. While we understand why you want to cancel, we’re unable to because once an order is placed, an agreement is made with the seller to purchase. That’s why we state that all sales are final at checkout and in our FAQ. However, many sites allow you to list tickets for sale without having the exact seat numbers.

I purchased tickets over a month ago. It’s the day before the concert and I don’t have my tickets yet. After over 3 hours on the phone with them today they still haven’t been able to send my tickets. They are telling me to drive the 5 hours to St Louis and the tickets should be available 2 hours before the concert. Not acceptable.

We got to our venue and realized the transfer to the app had not occurred. We called customer service and they were able to verify and resend our tickets in enough time for us to make the show on time. They were courteous and helpful through the entire encounter and helped relieve so much stress.

I ordered tickets months ago for the US Grand Prix, after not getting my tickets and many calls I got downgraded tickets or a cash back with no time whatsoever to buy other seats with no explanation or apology. Save headaches. Don’t use Vivid Seats.
First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of having your tickets replaced. We know the importance of having tickets you originally purchased. Rest assured that we have thoroughly and carefully looked into this. Our team worked on this order and with the seller to retransfer the initial transfer. When there was an issue, we reached out to work with the seller and buyer on replacement tickets. These replacements provided are considered an upgrade replacement as you are closer to the action. We always offer the chance to accept replacements or get a full refund for your order; it looks like the replacements were accepted.

There’s so much going on because of the category five hurricane and shipping delays and a ticket going to the wrong address they were so sweet to help me. I haven’t taken time off in nine years so this concert means a lot to me which sounds a little dumb, but it is what it is. But the professionalism, and customer care that was provided really shined with this phone call. The level of de-escalation from a of upsetting situation was impeccable and the application of support by letting me know that she was there to help however she could and she did and she got me answers and we found a plan that worked!
I would hire her myself at one of my bars. She showed me the importance of determination and commitment to make sure to turn around this experience from a series of unfortunate events and her willingness to push through and to do so deserves a big shout out. This was by far one of the best customer service experiences, and I wish any of my staff members would act with this level of professionalism and customer care.

Had THE worst experience, to the point I will be going to our local news station. I spent a ridiculous amount of money to see ELO, and the ticket were behind a damn screen... COMPLETE obstruction... Couldn't see stage!! We ended up having to buy a second pair of tickets 2 minutes before show started... JUST so we could see ANY part of the stage. I was in tears with the amount of money I spent on seats that PROMISED to be no instruction!! THREE calls were made to Vivid Seats, and they said they would research it, as the seats were supposed to be no instruction...
The final call was told too bad so bad, basically. They DO NOT live up to their promise, and it's gross. I'm not done fighting for this to be made right. They clearly don't care about customers. The photo attached, you clearly can't see stage, and our seats were even more over than this... Totally behind that screen you can see in the right of the picture.

I can’t explain how frustrated I am with my FIRST and LAST purchase on the app. In addition to the prices being more than 5/6 times more expensive than what the artist sells for. I bought Billie Eilish’s ticket in Boston to celebrate my 21st birthday, trusting in the guarantee that I would receive my ticket before the show and my dad traveled from Florida the night before JUST to help me to get in the show, but 1 hour before I still hadn’t received it. I contacted them and they said that since I bought it on the same day, it would be available 20 minutes before the show, so I went to the show and no ticket was sent, which gave me an anxiety attack that made me feel so ill.
On the way, I contacted them again and it took an long time to receive answers to resolve the issue, and there were already 5 minutes left until the show. They tried to convince me to give them another 30 minutes, like, pay more than 600 dollars to miss 30 minutes of the show. In the end, since the show had already started and I was feeling sick from all the anxiety and nervousness due the situation, they wanted to give me a “compatible” seat without even knowing the location and without knowing if it would be sent right away. I chose to leave and thanks to Vivid Seats I missed out on the very special celebration of my 21st birthday and the money for transport that was not cheap. There is no refund that can pay for the night and the moment that I lost.

I received a call. My tickets to an event were upgraded and I was to receive an email shortly to claim them. I received the email and tried to claim them and was not able to do so. I received another email that said the upgrade was cancelled. I called in and spoke to a rep and sent 4 emails with a pic of the new tickets to claim them, but was told none were received then I got disconnected and never received the new tickets.

I type in a game and I randomly pick whoever shows up the best. I buy at StubHub and Vivid Seats. I'm not loyal to any of those and I just pick one. I compare prices a little bit but mainly, it's who came up through Google the quickest for me. With Vivid Seats, the online ticket purchasing thing is easy. It’s a good place to find tickets, just like the rest of them.

I have a lot of tickets bought from Vivid Seats. I go through them because there's money coming back for all the tickets you purchased. But I don't like that when you look for a ticket and it's $1,000, that ticket is actually costing you $1,350 with all the taxes and service fees that they have. The Super Bowl ticket costs $3,000, but it could end up costing over $4,000.

THEY ARE A RIP OFF. NEVER BUY FROM THEM. Hiding is lying! They charged hundreds in fees. Customer service blames the customer, but when asked to show you the list of fees on the website they can't. The owners should be imprisoned.

I purchased 2 tickets for the Cleveland Detroit playoff game in Cleveland on the 12th. All seemed fine with the order, but after Cleveland won tonight, Vivid cancelled my order saying the seats were not available. They were clearly available when I placed the order. After Cleveland won tonight guaranteeing the 5th game I’m sure that Vivid decided that they could cancel my order and sell the tickets for a higher price. What a scam.

I had a terrible experience with Vivid Seats. The seller of the tickets cancelled my tickets with no communication days before the event. I purchased new tickets. Then days later the tickets were sent again. Vivid Seats claims the tickets were delivered and refused to give me a refund. The customer service was terrible and I would NEVER use this service ever again. AVOID at all costs.
It saddens us to hear that you had a terrible experience with us, as that's not the experience we want our fans to have. In this case, the venue cancelled the tickets because it rearranged a section without notice. If the order itself had been cancelled, we'd email notifying you that we could no longer provide tickets. Instead, since we're committed to filling our orders, we provided upgraded replacements the following day.

My wife has used this company several times in the past with no issues, unfortunately my experience is quite different. Upon arriving at the venue for Chromeo and the Midnight September 20th my tickets were denied. Multiple security staff tried to scan my tickets, a supervisor was called over and had me uninstall and reinstall the AXS app, the tickets still wouldn't scan. Because there was no valid scan we were sent away. Vivid Seats did an investigation which only said the tickets had been issued, and that it must of been how I tried to scan the tickets. I am completely dumbfounded. I missed my favorite band and was denied a refund.
The validity of our tickets is our highest priority, as we pride ourselves on trustworthiness. That's why we launched a full investigation when you reported that your tickets wouldn't work because you were told the show wasn't hosted at that venue. After research, we confirmed that the show did take place at the date and location listed on the order. If you have more information to supply, please contact us again and we can re-evaluate.

I wish there was a ZERO STARS option. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are a scam! I ordered 2 tickets for a concert (The Steel Wheels). Tickets were $25 each plus "fees", totaling $32.50 each, which would total $65. My card was charged $109.36 with no explanation of added charges. Also, the tickets were resold by someone else. This is a second-hand ticket outlet. They refused to give me my money back. Then, the concert itself had to be rescheduled. I never got notice from Vivid Seats and when I called to see if the (already overpriced tickets) I received would work for the rescheduled show, they put me on hold for over 30 minutes going back and forth with a "supervisor". The final verdict was that I would need to purchase new tickets for the rescheduled show and my tickets from the earlier date were invalid and I would not receive a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Nice and easy to use and good customer service. Never had an issue with using the app. I was quickly refunded for a baseball game that was cancelled for weather and they even gave me bonus credit. Vivid Seats is disgusting. Their customer service is awful. My event got moved to three months away to a date I could not make AND 1 of the tickets they sold me is fake. They didn't even give me a refund for the 1 fake ticket because they said I "accepted it" and their advice was to google how to sell tickets. I understood that I have to sell the tickets, but I asked for a refund on at least the 1 I could not sell and they would not give it to me or give me ANY solutions that were helpful. Never ever use Vivid Seats.

Always great. I recently this past weekend you StubHub and after purchasing a ticket, receiving the ticket, my order was canceled an hour after. I was on the phone for 6 hours fighting with them and still ended up having to buy a third ticket and still waiting on my money for the ticket that I never got

Absolutely terrible experience with Vivid Seats. I purchased 6 tickets for an event, and they only provided me with part of my order. When I reached out to their customer service for a refund or to get the rest of my tickets, they were completely unhelpful and rude. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake and didn’t offer any resolution. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers at all. I paid for a service I didn’t receive, and they just took my money without providing any solution. I will never use Vivid Seats again, and I advise anyone considering them to stay far away. Worst ticket vendor I’ve ever dealt with!

I was worried because a destination event’s tickets had not yet been delivered only 2 days before the event. I spoke with a Vivid employee who was extremely responsive & helpful. I accepted the transfer and all 8 tickets say pass disabled - see photos. I sent an email and never received a response. My phone settings and Ticketmaster settings are up to date. I do not know if my tickets work since they say disabled.

My customer service agent, Chelsea, was the most professional, best agent I've ever come across in this industry. Her follow up was phenomenal. When my tickets got cancelled she helped me get new ones without issue! She was awesome! She followed up with me on multiple occasions and called me back every time. I did not have to hound her. Used VividSeats for the first time to get tickets for Oasis. The service fee was hidden until checkout, which was pretty annoying. After checkout, I got an email from them saying they will deliver the ticket ONE DAY before the event. That makes absolutely no sense. Now I am stressed wondering whether the tickets would be real or not for THE NEXT YEAR. Absolutely regretting the decision to use VividSeats.
We understand your eagerness to get ahold of your tickets for such a huge event, Stella. If it were up to us, we'd send the tickets immediately. However, the venue sets the ticket release date, not us. It's set so close to the concert date for anti-fraud reasons. We guarantee that you'll get the tickets in time, though! Very bad experience, am never using your platform drove 30 miles for a show and still the ticket was showing processing and never got cancellation or acceptance email, paid for parking, was waiting in line just to know that the broker never accepted the ticket and customer service was not even close to being helpful

I purchased ticket for Carolina Opry. Day off I look at my app Vivid Seats. There are three areas. Last area being ready. My tickets never said ready. I messaged the company. They never solved my problem. Vivid seats is a scam. Do not use them.

I bought tickets to Caifanes. I looked the venue up and it's not caifanes. It is a tribute band. Tickets are $30 cheaper through venue. My issue is still not resolved. This is unacceptable and I can't believe Vivid would allow this type of nonsense. I will definitely not want to buy tickets from vivid unless they correct or solve my problem. I am disappointed with the service I was promised or provided.

I always trust Vivid Seats to deliver the tickets timely, and this was no different. The tickets were delivered via Ticketmaster very quickly after I bought them. The fees are always a little high, but I was glad to see the Vampire Weekend concert. I will definitely be using vivid seats again in the future

I’ve used Vivid Seats since last year and have always had smooth transactions. I’m not sure what happened this time but truly unsatisfied. Never got my tickets & customer service wasn’t really that helpful. There is now an “investigation” going on. So hopefully everything pans out. Hopeful but if not will have to rethink this ticket site.

Called 5 times regarding an issue with receiving my parking pass for the Usher concert. My wife bought rodeo tickets through Vivid Seats not knowing she was buying them from a scalper service who added on additional outrageous charges. General Admission tickets directly through the vendor were $20 a piece. She bought what appeared to be upgraded seats for $38 a piece. She was charged $138 for two tickets!!! She wasn't aware of this until she saw her bank statement! Vivid Seats does not allow the consumer to view the tickets until a few days before the event to be sure they get away with screwing you! Unbelievable the scam this business is running. We will warn all of our friends about how she was ripped off by Vivid Seats. Absolutely disgusting!
It's important to us that fans know exactly what they're purchasing. To that end, we state at checkout exactly what you'll be charged and provide a breakdown of the grand total. We also state whether tickets are simply general admission or something more. The rodeo sets the date that tickets are released, rather than us, so we don't control when you're able to view the tickets.

It is everything you consider. They are a scam master. They sold me 2 SF Symphony Concert tickets at discount, for 9/25/24 Lang Lang Gala, and charged to my credit card. The way they emailed me the e-tickets was quite strange at the first place already. We went all the way to the door that evening, all being told at the gate that those two seats were bought originally by someone else!! The ticket office confirmed that the e-tickets did not look like what they issue.

I turned on to Vivid Seats because of the NCAA tournament a while back and recently, I bought sports tickets from them. They're a pretty good reseller of tickets and it seems like they get a lot of people reselling their tickets on there. Vivid Seats is better than Ticketmaster but they have to be mindful of their fees. If they get too high, they're going to scare away my business and some others.

Bought tickets for Tampa Bay Lightning v Nashville Predators pre season game in Tampa on 27 Sept. We had travelled to Orlando from the UK on vacation and had bought the tickets online a few weeks prior to our trip. We arrived in Florida on 26th Sept whilst Hurricane Helene was ongoing. I contacted Vivid that same evening to enquire if the game was still on due to the hurricane to be told that it was. I further questioned this as it seemingly contradicted any common sense approach and everything that was being broadcast on the news channels in Florida but their agent then simply terminated the online chat.

This was an awful experience. Their website claims "If you're not completely satisfied with your plan, you have 10 days to cancel your plan purchase and request a refund, provided the event date has not passed, you haven't attended the event or initiated a claim." I miscounted the number of tickets I need and contacted customer service 20 minutes after the purchase and was told there was nothing they could do. No refunds. No cancellations. Both people I spoke with (on phone and in chat) both told me they were the senior customer service rep, and there was no one to escalate to and no manager to assist. Their rationale was a single line hidden in their terms and services on a different page, behind another link. This is nauseating. After informing them of the textbook bait and switch, THEN my customer service representative went looking for someone else
We see that you're frustrated and want to clear up the confusion. The text you've mentioned refers to the optional Allianz event insurance—meaning that if you aren't satisfied with the insurance, you can contact Allianz and request a refund of the insurance cost. That's why it says you have 10 days to cancel your plan rather than cancel your tickets. We state immediately above the "place order" button that all sales are final, and repeat that in our FAQ. Since the show isn't until early next year, the good news is you have plenty of time to sell your tickets. You can do so on our own website or any other platform you wish to use.

On June 10th, 2024 I paid $533 for 2 excellent seats at the Charlotte Skyla Amphitheater for a Kaleo Concert. We flew from out of state and stayed in a local hotel expressly to attend the concert. On September 19th, we arrived at the Skyla Amphitheater only to learn the venue had been changed to a much inferior indoor place with no seats. We were now expected to stand in the mosh pit, where people had paid $69.50 pp. So right there, we've already been overcharged by $394. We are older and one of us has spinal injuries, so standing isn't an option for us. I asked what we could do to get a seat and we were made to pay another $90 each for seats way to the side with very poor view of the band. In fact, we could only see one band member from our seats.
So now we've been charged $574 more than we should have been charged for seats far inferior to our original seats. Overcharged almost $600, a ruined concert, not to mention about $1500 for flights and hotels and meals to come. We reported this to Vivid Seats on September 24th and were promised a representative would call us within 24 hours but no one has made any effort to contact us. We are requesting our refund of $574. We won't use Vivid Seats ever again. Kaleo should not sully their reputation with these creeps.

I've purchased tickets for various events across the last few years, including concerts and sporting events. The website is good. I’d prefer if there's a way to see the ticket prices with the fees before I get to the checkout, but other than that, it's easy to get around. Vivid Seats has a good rewards program as well. Once someone buys tickets, they get stamps and once they get enough stamps, they get money in their account based off of the price of each stamp for each ticket they bought. If someone uses Vivid Seats enough, it's worth it versus some of the other sites that are out there.

Vivid Seats is okay. I hate all the extra service charges, but I thought it was fine. I wish that the service charges wouldn't be so high. They had the tickets that I was looking for. Pearl Jam was great. I'd seen them before. It was a great concert. Wrigley is a great venue.

Bought very expensive VIP tix to a festival. Received wristband but no shuttle passes which are included. Called, texted, emailed and Vivid Seats says not included unless specifically stated. However the listing didn't say wristband only, it stated VIP pass. No help from company. Big problem as now they are sold out. Not a good experience at all. Won't use them again and making a claim with my credit card company.
It's important to us that our listings are clear about what's included, so that our fans know what to expect when choosing their tickets. That's why we explicitly list any extras that are included beyond the ticket themselves. In this case, no extras were mentioned. We understand that the venue website may offer a shuttle pass if a ticket is bought through them, but as we're not the venue, we can only include what is advertised on our own website.

I would give Vivid less than one star if I could. Horrible, super expensive, they totally misrepresented the location of the parking space it sold, claimed it was "Hollywood Bowl Lot A" which was a lie, and would not refund. I will never use them again and I suggest you do not either.

We purchased a $500 print-out parking pass from this site, only to find out it was invalid and rejected at the event. When I contacted customer service, they promised to send a Denial of Access (DOA) form for me to complete and I never received it. It seems like no real progress was made to resolve the issue or refund my money. This experience raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of this site.

We originally had tickets to see a concert but that tour got canceled. And instead of giving us cash back, they gave us a credit through Vivid Seats for 110%, so we had to use Vivid Seats for the second one. It worked out that we were going to New York anyways and Usher happened to be in concert, so we decided to use the credit that we had with Vivid Seats and buy us tickets. They were good to work with. We usually shop among Vivid Seats, StubHub, Seat Geek, and a few others to see which one's got the best options. Then we go with who's got the least amount of fees included on top of the actual ticket because that's usually what the clincher is. I hate paying $300 for a ticket and have to pay another 150 for fees.

I bought tickets to a football game from Vivid Seats because of their buyer guarantee. Then I found out they did not sell me seats or admission tickets, but rather passes to a hospitality club for $300! I called immediately to ask for a refund and they refused to do anything for me! I Vivid Seats sold tickets and seats. I didn’t realize they were also peddling add-ons like club passes! I feel completely scammed! I have useless passes and no tickets and these were supposed to be for my son’s 21st birthday so I also have no money to buy him a birthday present!

I never received my ticket. I called for weeks to fix an email error and no one could help me. They refuse to give a refund even though I made every effort to fix the error. I will never use that platform again. I’m out $125 plus the price of a new ticket to the event.

It’s really terrible that I buy the tickets from Vivid Seats then get them sent to me from SeatGeek so I have to download that app and make an account just to receive the tickets I bought from another site plus all the ridiculous fees on top of that. Not sure why we have such insane fees when the tickets come from another site and I have to download the new site just to go to the game. Makes zero sense, if I wanted to purchase from SeatGeek that’s where I would’ve been looking Instead of vivid seats. Moving forward I might as well do that.

Two items to address. I purchased two tickets (Section Orchestra 103, Row J, Quantity 2,) through the Vivdseats website on 07/24/2024. Upon arrival to the venue, I was notified that the tickets I purchased were 1. Not in the same row nor next to one another and 2. One of the tickets had already been scanned half an hour before we arrived to someone other than myself. That is after an hour's worth of driving from the other side of town to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday by taking her to this show.
Then I call the customer service line while waiting outside of the venue for an additional hour only to be told that the reseller couldn’t be contacted and I either could be downgraded all the way back to the furthest possible section or get a refund processed. Furthermore, the agent on the customer service line told me there is no verification process that these resellers have to go through when they send the tickets to the respective buyers and the only instances in which these issues get caught are when the customer themselves notices and calls it in. UNACCEPTABLE. I will be sure this review gets posted and every single forum possible and even then it won’t compensate to the disappointment and frustration we were put through….

The parking pass I purchased this past time was useless. The parking lot was almost 5 miles away from the event and when I arrived there I was told the shuttle only runs to the airport. I showed them the email where it connected my event to this particular parking lot and they said to get my money back because it is wrong. I ended up having to drive to the event and pay again for parking somewhere else. I will never purchase parking through this app again.

I purchased some tickets and the coupon code was released shortly after I purchased the tickets on the same day. I called to get the coupon code applied and they said no. It seems to me that for customer service you could be able to take care of the customer, especially when there's a coupon code to remove fees. I enjoy the rewards program or else I would've given this a one star review.

Yesterday we went to the event at Peggy goo and we managed to get in because we couldn't scan one of the two tickets and we were able to get in, we asked them to send us another one and they told us that the order number was not the one, it was lie! We didn't manage to enter the event and at the moment I'm in negotiations to get my money back from the insurance company, which seems very difficult! I'm very sorry.

I've purchased NBA tickets, NFL tickets, and concert tickets from Vivid Seats. The website and the app are both easy to use. I like that Vivid Seats rewards you with cash to use for other tickets. It slowly adds up. When you open up the app, I had finally bought enough tickets that I had $50 reward that I could use towards another ticket. I also like that I can see the ticket fees when you're looking at purchase price.

I purchased 4 tickets to Detroit Lions on 9/15/24. The morning of the event I clicked on the link to download the tickets to my phone. The download suddenly stopped & message said check back later. Spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service, they kept me on hold & never fixed anything or had an explanation. We drove to the venue still without tickets at 12:30, game starts at 1:00. At 12:30 I received an email saying ticket download was cancelled!! It was my son’s 22nd birthday gift so we bought another 4 tickets. Vivid seats has still not refunded my first purchase or contacted me. Horrendous experience, customer service clueless as to what’s going on or when this will be resolved. Buyer beware. Do not use Vivid Seats!

I purchased a parking pass for the Hozier event at the Gorge. The ticket I was sold made it seem as if it was required to have it to get access to the venue. When I get there, no one checks the parking passes and people parked where I paid to park. Vivid Seats customer support refused to help after they did their investigation because it took too long and now they weren’t liable. If you buy any type of ticket on vivid seats expect to be scammed.

I bought a last minute ticket to ELO. I purposely bought a seat in the 1st row of a section near the stage so I could see. Upon arrival, there was an issue w the ticket and I had to stand around while they verified if my ticket was valid. I was moved farther away. It was a nice location, but I couldn't see. I tried to contact customer service to find out what went wrong and there's been no answer. I won't use them again.

I saw an ad or a marketing ploy when Vivid Seats first started selling tickets and I wanted to give it a try because we used StubHub in the past. I used to have season tickets through a couple of different places and I travel a lot for business. So, it's hard for me to keep those seats. I got sick of selling tickets and just waiting on the money to get to me. And it just wasn't working out for me at the time. Vivid Seats had a program where I got a couple of free tickets a couple of times, which was nice. But recently, I've noticed that the fees are starting to get outrageous.
I bought three tickets for three of my highest-earning sales guys to go to a Colts game and they were good seats. They're Lower Level Row One and the seats are 363 a piece through Vivid Seats. When I paid, it was 1,500 bucks. And 363 times 3 was 1130. If you buy a $47 nosebleed seat, I could see them adding 20% of that or even 30%. But that was probably gonna be one of the last times I use Vivid Seats. The newer companies probably have deals that are temporary just to lure you in to get your business on the front end and then throw those hidden fees in later on down the road once they have valued customers.
I've always purchased online and the website is decent. The one thing that I have noticed on all resale ticket services is that they'll show you where your seats are and it's never right. I've had seats that say they're in row one or row two. And the picture that is taken is 10 rows back and vice versa. You buy row 16 on a Patriots game and the picture is taken from row 31. So, it's not accurate on that end.
The prices have gone up. I've probably spent well over 50 grand in tickets in the past 10 years that I've been using Vivid Seats. The terrace level, the 600 level, which is the top nosebleed, and anything past the first three rows, are priced well. But everything else should near be free just because you can't see the game. You have a better view from your couch. But overall, compared to other sites where I've viewed their tickets and gone straight through the source, like Ticketmaster, the tickets are fine. It's the markup. It's the taxes and fees.
I’ve had tickets that went through Vivid Seats but the tickets were transferred from Ticketmaster and I had to log into my Ticketmaster to get the tickets. I bought tickets for a Slipknot concert a month ago and another time, Pacers tickets that I bought for my father and stepmother for their wedding anniversary. And both of those, I had to go through and through. The Ticketmaster website was down. In the Slipknot concert, I didn't get the tickets transferred to my email to where I could put them into my Apple Wallet until literally 15 minutes after the concert had already started. There was an opening band that I didn't care about so it wasn't that big of a deal. But it was extremely frustrating. I've never had that issue with Vivid Seats. I'll get them in my email or by mobile transfer by the date or time that they said that I'm gonna get them.

I've been using Vivid Seats for a while now. It's not a huge benefit but if I spend a boatload of money on tickets, I can save a few bucks. It would be cool though if they could lower the transaction fees. If I spent $300 on a ticket, they charge me another 60 for electronic transaction fee.

Vivid Seats gave me the ability to search for tickets. It showed the stadium and gave me a picture of the view of what the seats would look like. The pricing was clear and easy. The rewards were easy to earn and it is automatically applied. Then the tickets are put on your phone like a digital ticket. That allows you to get into the event without having to print anything off. The rewards program takes the average of all the 10 tickets that I purchased and it gives me that amount of value off of the 11th ticket I buy. It was easy to use and saved me about 50 bucks this last go around. I would not use any other platform but Vivid. I like them.

We've been going to sporting events for a couple years now. I heard about Vivid Seats when I googled options for purchasing tickets to sporting events and I used it most recently because I know I had a credit on there. We purchased football tickets. The purchasing experience was real easy. You can filter it down to what you're looking for as far as price points you wanna stay within, sections you wanna avoid or sections you prefer, and the number of tickets. Also, it lets you know what your price is inclusive of fees and taxes and everything. It's spelled out pretty simplistic. And the added bonus of getting rewards made it even better. I don't know any other site that have given rewards and I've used all of them over the course of the past five to seven years.

I purchased two tickets to a concert through Vivid. The email recommended that the tickets be "delivered" before the date of the concert which consisted of the tickets being sent to the wallet on my phone. After the date for the concert was changed and I wasn't able to make it on the new date, Vivid stated that I was unable to get any refund on the tickets because they had already been "delivered". Marc the customer service person was not helpful and did not assist with my issue.

Had an easily rectifiable situation with Vivid Seats that cost me over $250! Bought tickets to a football game back in April that was scheduled for a Saturday in October. Two months later I get an email from vivid seats telling me that the game was changed to a Friday night... for which I wouldn't be available. Called to get a refund and was told they couldn't refund my $255.50, that they can only refund for canceled events. BTW...svc. charge for 5 tickets...$63!!! Really? Done with vivid...see ya! I learned my lesson.

Can’t get my ticket until game day. That is ridiculous. The school has released all tickets. The seller should send them but Vivid won’t contact them. I’m not traveling clear across the country to a game just to show up and never have received my tickets. Don’t say this is industry standard to avoid fraud. It’s so you can make the most $$$ possible. Greed at its finest, ticket industry is a mess!! And Vivid is part of the scam.

Tickets on the app were advertised on app as "clear view" with a picture of a clear view, but I actually had an obstructed view. Will never use Vivid Seats again. What a ripoff. Stay away from vivid seats.

I was going to buy tickets through AXS but I checked Vivid Seats and they had tickets for cheaper and they ended up being in a VIP section. It was a no brainer to get tickets through Vivid seats for cheaper than AXS especially when they were VIP tickets. It’s also nice to be able to redeem rewards after getting 10 stamps.

I will change my experience after I receive tickets.. game is in 48 hrs and I still have received the actual tickets.. and have to send to family in advance.. stated instant delivery and paid extra charge for it as well and 2 days out and still waiting. Also reached out to customer service about it in which they assured I would have in time.. but I feel this is cutting it close especially without any communication on exact date and time..
We see that you placed two instant transfer orders for a game on September 15. Both of those were transferred immediately after the order was placed. We haven't been contacted about any issues with those orders so hope you enjoyed the game with your family!

Yanks Red Sox bought 3 tickets for over $100 and used built up credit. Got email to claim tickets. Could not claim. Called support line and chat team. Was told I’ll receive them before the game. I did not receive them before the game. I was late to the game bc I was waiting outside the subway to make sure I could access the tickets beforehand. Ended up having to buy another 3 tickets from another site. Overall a terrible experience as my credit card was still charged the remaining balance and I used my credits I built up over time as well. I understand it’s a marketplace but when a seller puts tickets up for sale on your site you should hold it in an escrow position since you’re the middleman in the transaction. So thank you Vivid Seats for turning what I thought would be a great night into me being late for the game and having to buy tickets from a different site.
A terrible experience and have been back and forth with multiple people regarding my experience. I’d like a phone call or email explaining the situation and to be credited back my rewards points and the charge on my credit card before I call them up to dispute it as fraudulent since I was never given what I paid for. I’d give zero stars if possible, I never have had this terrible of an experience with any site and considered myself a loyal vivid seat user until the atrocity of last night. We bought tickets that showed as available for three people and got a call about 5 minutes after stating the order was confirmed and that we should receive the tickets by email shortly. We then noticed we hadn't received our tickets and called Vivid Seats. The woman said that the tickets were no longer available and that the previous representative made a mistake.
First of all, why wouldn't anyone call us to tell us the tickets were no longer valid? Had we not called we would have not known. This is completely irresponsible customer service. The woman also said she'd try to get us tickets that would match our price range and seat selection but then said the concert was sold out. They also only gave us a $70 credit. I have never in my life had such horrible customer service and will be telling everyone to stay away from Vivid Seats. I was extremely upset as we traveled about an hour out of our way thinking we had concert tickets. What a waste of time.
We do all we can to fill every order, and the majority of them are fulfilled without any issue. In rare cases, tickets become unavailable and an order must be cancelled. If I could put zero stars I would. They have a buy now pay later option through PayPal, which I clicked on to do and it said 52 month but it took $600 and they will not give me back my money. Then they tried to tell me that wasn't even on there. I have a screenshot that literally shows it. I'm sure if you look it's clearly there! Does that sound like a scam to anybody else?

I purchased tickets by mistake for the wrong date. Before the tickets were delivered which normally takes a few hours to deliver, I contacted Vivid and tried to cancel the purchase. They told me to google how to sell unwanted tickets. Ridiculous. At least they could refund the huge fees they took to purchase the tickets or refund my bonus points that were used to purchase the tickets.

Never use this site. Seller provided tickets that were in no way what was listed and Vivid Seats chose to upload the sale, as the seller "provided a ticket that was delivered and claimed it was accurate." There is apparently no buyer protection or recourse for sellers misrepresenting sales. Avoid at all costs.

I saw tickets in row 1 of section C for UCF vs. Florida Gators football, and I didn't buy due to excessive fees. Then Vivid sent me an e-mail to buy the same seats with a 15% discount. The discount didn't work, so I called the toll-free number to buy the section C row 1 tickets. However, when I checked the confirmation e-mail, I actually was given section C row 11. Then when I called and asked them to fix the mistake, they didn't fix it. They only offered to investigate the original phone call where my mother and I told the lady 3 or 4 times about the section C row 1 seats. I guess my word wasn't good enough. Maybe the lady didn't understand me. I would never have paid that much or even asked for row 11. To make matters worse, they sold the row 1 seats again to another customer. They even sent me an email informing that the row 1 sets were sold to another customer. What a bait and switch scam.

I recently purchased four tickets for a Tennessee Titans game through Vivid Seats, and my experience has been extremely frustrating. I specifically sorted my search by row to find front row seats, and the website returned tickets listed as row AA, which I believed were front row so I purchased them. However, I ended up receiving four tickets in row Y instead.
When I called Vivid Seats for assistance, I was told that row Y is considered a better seat and that their policy deems it an upgrade. This response was not only disappointing but also infuriating, as my son has difficulty standing to watch the game and I explicitly needed front row seats for his comfort. Now we are stuck with these row Y tickets that do not meet our needs at all. It's unacceptable that Vivid Seats misrepresented the seating arrangement and failed to provide the tickets I purchased. I expected better service and transparency. I would not recommend using Vivid Seats based on this experience.

The fees are just too much. I feel like this is the last time I will buy tickets through here. We looked on Ticketmaster and unfortunately, they were not on there before but tickets right next to where we’re sitting were available on the aisle, where we can actually select the seat and see where we were sitting and it’s not such a gamble, and they were the same price as the seats we bought, but $200 cheaper because of the fees. As horrible as Ticketmaster is, and as much as we try to go to other places to do business instead of them, unfortunately, I understand they are a bigger company so they can possibly charge less, but these were sell tickets as well and still $200 cheaper. The fees are where the pain is at. Scalp is already horrible, it’s just makes it so much more unbearable. You can buy a whole other ticket for the fees sometimes. The other reason is because you never know your seats going to be. It’s hard for tall people to be scrunched in sometimes, especially with disabilities. Thank you.

I ordered tickets and received confirmation. The confirmation indicated that I would get the tickets the day before the event, but I didn't get them. I trusted that they would be sent since I didn't from them otherwise, so I waited until the day of the event. When the tickets were still not available, I used their chat service in an attempt to get them. Their chat system is a joke. If I even minimize the screen to get my order number, the chat disappears and I have to start all over again. It took a long time to get to a rep, and then they responded slowly. I was told that the seller didn't have the tickets available. I have no idea why Vivid Seats didn't contact me to let me know this ahead of time. I ended up getting a refund and having to buy tickets elsewhere at a much higher price since it was the day of the event. I will NEVER use this service again. Their customer service is a joke.

What a relief! After 5 calls to support, I finally got a CSR with English as their native language!! The previous 4 calls took almost 2 hours, and they still couldn’t understand the circumstances. This time I only had to explain 1 time and she handled the rest perfectly! Hiring call centers out of country is not smart business. They may be able to read and write English, but they don’t understand what is being said to them. I explained the situation multiple times with each one of the previous CSRs and they took my case in the complete wrong direction. Knowing that there is at least one US based call center makes me comfortable enough to continue using Vivid for all my event tickets. Before today, I had decided to delete the app. Now I’m reinstalling it. However, if I ever need support again, I will call and hang up on every csr that has to read aloud their greeting to be able to pronounce, until I reach a native English speaker.

I signed up for this app and have used it extensively for a couple years under the impression that my loyalty and the amount of money I have spent on this site would be rewarded with an occasional surprise upgrade. This was an empty promise and clear bait and switch. The fees have continued to rise to a point that is ridiculous. I’m NOT happy with my account right now.

SCAMMERS.... Gave me the runarounds regarding my tickets that I never received. Called every other day for three weeks straight trying to retrieve seat numbers for tickets purchased and was told I needed to login from the app, click a emailed link and then they said I couldn't use my phone to retrieve the tickets. Told me I could only use a desktop. When that didn't work. I was told I needed to only retrieve tickets through google.com search engine. All of that to still not receive my tickets. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Tickets are reasonably price compared to other purchasing sites, and are delivered in a timely manner. I have never encountered any problems when using Vivid Seats. I also like the rewards program that is offered when you make several purchases using the site. Good experience all around and can always buy tickets with no issues!

BUYERS BEWARE of Vivid practices and refusal to provide support to the buyers on their website. In April of 2024, I purchased 6 tickets to the Auburn vs Arkansas football game on September 21, 2024. They were purchased for almost $1000 which included the Vivid fee of almost $250 with the full understanding that Auburn would not release the ticket until early August. At the time I thought I was buying from a reputable company and I was excited for my family to be able attend the event. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to go. I would like to sell the tickets to try to recoup some of my cost.
Auburn University did release the tickets to all of their games in early August. I have contacted Vivid through email many times over the past month and requested the tickets to be released to me. They have refused to release the tickets and keep saying they will release them on September 20, 2024. That is 24 hours before the game and allows no time for me to be able to resell the tickets. With less than 2 weeks to the game, I did have someone to buy the ticket but since I was able to transfer them, he decide it was too risky to wait and purchased the ticket from another source.
The only logical reason for Vivid not to release the tickets is they are holding the money as long as they can to collect the interest off the money they are holding. With the potential amount of ticket sales from Vivid website this could be a significant amount of profit for Vivid. It is clear that Vivid does not care about the buyers on their site. I would highly recommend that everyone be cautions when purchasing ticket on the Vivid site and consider using one of the many other sites to purchasing tickets. I personally will never use Vivid again.

We had got a parking pass to the NC state game Vs Tennessee. The ticket was 50 dollars to purchase. Prior to the purchase we assumed it was a normal parking pass. In the mail it said it was for a specific time that was not specified. After trying to get a refund because we had to purchase another parking pass, we were told that we didn’t follow “specific instructions” by some Indian man, although it never told us we had to arrive an hour before the game to use the parking pass. I’ll never use this for tickets ever again, you lost a valuable customer.

Bought a GA lawn concert ticket for about $100, my friend found the exact same ticket the next day for $47 from Vivid. I couldn't believe it and searched again and all that was available to me was higher priced tickets. While her search at the exact same time yielded cheaper ticket prices. I'm not sure if I'm only shown higher ticket prices since I've purchased multiple tickets and have credit to "get your 11th ticket free". After I've used up my remaining credit there's really no reason to continue using Vivid.

Ticket pricing is all over the place and ticket resales are ridiculously priced. Otherwise, experience was ok. The fees and transfer fees are expensive in my opinion and I don’t really see why they cost that much? Physical tickets don’t cost an extra fee to get them into your hands.

I would recommend purchasing tickets ONLY if you can get an instant download. I purchased a ticket for a concert that was sold out a few weeks after my initial purchase. The seller never uploaded my ticket, so the day of the event I started calling the Vivid Seats customer service number. I was greeted by a pleasant person who assisted in calling the seller. The seller assured her that he would post the ticket within the hour. So, I proceeded to continue traveling to my venue. An hour before I got there, I called again to let them know my ticket had not been sent out. They attempted to call the seller a few more times and did not receive a response. I was told I could go ahead and get a refund or wait until the start of the event to see if the seller would upload the ticket. I opted to wait given that I was now closer to the venue than to my home.
Upon arriving at the venue, I called again and was told that the vendor no longer had the tickets available, so they would issue me a refund. Now, I understand things happen, I drove almost 3 hours to this event and would have been willing to move past this. However, it is now, five days later and I have received zero communication from Vivid Seats, nor have I received my refund. I reached out to them yesterday and was told it was being investigated and I would receive information via email when everything is processed. They can see that my ticket never came through because it has to come through them, so I don’t know what needs to be investigated. I would have appreciated a phone call or an email letting me know what the process was going to be, along with an apology. I will likely never use Vivid Seats unless I am able to get an instant download in the future. Proceed with caution.

Vivid seats are terrible. I called and talked to three people. I couldn't get my ticket for parking. No one helped. I ended up getting a Uber. I told one of the people at vivid I told her I traveled from Chicago to Las Vegas to see a game. She was no help so I asked for a refund because I couldn't get the parking ticket. She was, "Oh no. We don't give refunds." So I lost money. They are terrible. I almost didn't get my game tickets and they don't care as long as they get your money. I will never ever give them my business again.

Their company has poor customer service. The Agents would not transfer me to a manager. They refused to refund me for them miss my email address. I had to pay for more tickets at the box office. I never received the initial tickets via email.

I think too many tickets were sold for this concert. There was not a single open seat in GA and strict standing areas that were full and security was pushing us out of them if we even had a single foot out of the line of standing areas. We had to stand up top with no view of the stage because it was so full of people who couldn’t find places to sit.

I’ve tried to disconnect an email to the ** app, yet the email here was **, yet a $120 parking pass was sent to an account I can’t access… EPIC FAIL!!! Make sure the email used here is what your third party vendors use or send the tickets via this app. So annoyed, will NEVER buy rangers tickets here again. Maybe none… It’s not that hard. Yet, here I am with $500 in the mix and may not have access to any of it because you can’t use the email on THIS ACCOUNT.

I do love that I could find seats the day of the game. I love that I could "see" the view from the seats before purchase. I do not love that $38 tickets cost $54 after all the fees and said $8 a seat on each ticket. Felt a bit slimy.

I unknowingly bought stolen tickets for Taylor Swift from VividSeats.com. Needless to say, the tickets were very expensive and I was distraught. I called VividSeats, and while it did take a few phone calls over the course of several days, VividSeats worked with me to rectify the situation. I was given replacement tickets and the customer service representative was amazingly helpful. He went above and beyond for me and the company held up their Buyer Guarantee.

What a nightmare! Bought concert tickets and get tons of spam emails making it hard to find the tickets. Finally find a ticket email only to find out I have to download another app (TIXR) to see my tickets. Took multiple tries to get set up on TIXR and had to spend nearly an hour on the phone with their support. What a joke! Two apps to be able to get my tickets? Still cannot verify the tickets until a couple days before the event as they are not visible until then.

Worst experience. Purchased tickets for an event that is 9 hours away from my home. I made trip arrangements, car rental, hotel, gas, days off. The day of the event I was send an email to a link that did not work. Reached out to customer service and I was told an “investigation” would be open and I needed to wait. It’s been over 24 hours. No tickets were ever delivered. Call customer service and they refuse to transfer you to anyone. Unreliable. No care to the customer issue.

I purchased tickets to the Hollywood Bowl for an event on August 29, 2024. My email confirmation stated Estimated Delivery Date is Wed. Aug 28, 2024. On August 28, 2024, I inquired about the status of my order because at the Hollywood Bowl, to order food to be delivered to your seat (for certain seats), you must place the order by 6 pm the evening before. The response I received from VIVID SEATS was "As you can see, your tickets will be delivered to you on or before August 28, 2024 till 11:59 PM." The response said "will be delivered." See Photo.
I did not receive my tickets by 11:59 a.m. on August 28, 2024 and so on August 29, 2024 I requested a refund. The person I was chatting with advised I would get the refund. I purchased tickets elsewhere and made an affirmative request to VIVID for my refund. Then, at 11:58 am, on August 29, 2024, I received the electronic ticket transfer.
I called VIVID again asking for the refund promised. The person I spoke to by phone said that VIVID will not issue a refund (despite having already promised me a refund and the late transfer of tickets) because the event has not been canceled. The person I spoke to also said VIVID allows sellers up to two hours prior to the event to transfer and if they do, the buyer gets no refund. This "policy" not to issue a refund despite the tickets not being delivered by the date/time promised is ABSURD. I did not see any such disclosure when I made my purchase. Something that important needs to be prominent and conspicuous.
It is also absurd for Vivid to allow this to happen: (1) take my money, (2) not automatically cancel when tickets are not delivered as promised, and then (3) not provide a refund (especially after having promised a refund). Based on Vivid's anti-buyer policy, an unscrupulous seller can post tickets on Vivid, hold the tickets for up to two hours before the event meanwhile trying to sell them higher somewhere else, and when that scheme fails, finally transfer to the buyer on Vivid. Vivid cares to do nothing about this apparently although they are responsible for this platform. To make matters worse, VIVID already promised me a refund, so I went and purchased tickets elsewhere, and now they're going back on the promise of a refund.

The prices are good and the time between ordering and receiving tickets is very fast. Vivid Seats is great for concerts and sporting events and I like the UI compared to other ticket apps. It would be nice if there was a feature that let you view individual seats on a seating map for better accuracy and assurance when buying, but overall I like this app for buying event tickets.

I bought tickets to WNBA game for daughter and teammates a week ago. Tickets were due yesterday but never came. I called Vivid. They tried to get me to take worse seats for same price. I saw seats in same area as my original tickets but they would not let me have them. They said I could buy them at a higher cost. I felt like it was bait and switch. Would never even try them again. I bought from competitor and paid hundreds more since it was last minute. A sickening experience.

Scam. They charged me shipping for the delivery for a digital ticket, charged twice as much as Ticketmaster in fees and once my tickets came I got a ticketmaster email?! So they literally acted an additional intermediary between ticketmaster and myself and they gaslit and bullied me in customer service when I brought up these incongruences.

I love the tickets we get but the so-called "service fees" you charge are OUTRAGEOUS. The charges are 35% of the entire cost! We recently bought $1300 tickets and then you charged over $500 on top of that, PER ticket. That'd be excessive for both tickets combined, let alone per ticket.

Updated on 08/26/2024: Update - they called today and offered to refund for the missed day. I would certainly not do business with them again, but appreciate some resolution to this.
Original Review: I purchased tickets on 8/8 for a music festival the following day. It said they would be available at least one hour prior to the concert either at will-call or local pickup and I would be notified by email how to get them. The concert began at 12 pm. At 12 pm I contacted customer service because I had still not received the email or any info. Checked will call multiple times through the day and they were not there. I spent 3+ hours both messaging and on the phone with several customer service agents to which the only answer was “they are on their way and should arrive by 4:30 pm” (4.5 hours after the start of the concert).
They were delivered to a Walgreens one mile away from the concert at 5:11 pm (see timestamped Fedex delivery alert). I had to walk for 30 min each way to get the tickets and made it to the festival in time for the last act of the day. Customer service refused to replace the tickets, despite having plenty available and has refused to refund me for the lost day despite the “ticket guarantee”. It has been the worst most unbelievable customer service I have EVER experienced. The last rep I talked to (Erlynne) actually said “I understand this isn’t your perfect outcome” after telling me that once tickets are delivered there’s nothing they can do unless the event is cancelled. So much for ticket guarantee!

I purchased parking in the BP lot at Kauffman stadium for the Royals baseball game. Parking map was full of different alphabet sections. Upon arrival to area I discovered that the parking was across the busy street in a gas station (BP Gas) parking lot, wasn’t even at the venue and was twice the cost to pay at the station in person.
We want our fans to have all the information they need when selecting parking, Kay. To prevent confusion, we gave the exact address of the lot in the listing notes and noted it was the BP lot. Still, we regret any misunderstanding about where the lot was located.

After many weeks of going back-and-forth with your company which my father and I were literally never going to use again, I can honestly say that Jeanette was and remains to be the only reason we will keep using your company for our tickets and recommend you going forward. During the last few weeks, multiple people tried telling us that we got the tickets and our credit card company refunded the money and then took it back because they were told by someone at your company that we did get the tickets. And after multiple hours today, we were told the same thing until we got Jeanette on the phone.
Vivid should be lucky to have an employee like this to work for them who was able to look at the situation not only at the facts but at the human beings that were involved in this ordeal for the last few weeks and truly make the right decision. I have never been more pleased with a representative that I spoke to on the phone before and you guys should give this woman a raise because she is worth all the tea in China! Such a scam! They took my money before I even created an account, sent 5 emails with no links to my tickets. Logging on the app, said no tickets were purchased. Sent an email verification an hour after my event was done and customer service refused to listen or give me a refund! Please beware of these crooks, They are awful!

I wasted 90 minutes on the phone with Vivid and still did not receive the tickets I purchased. Will never use Vivid again and you will see that I am one of your best customers. Customer service was terrible and being kept on hold for 20 minutes at a time is unacceptable.

I've bought and sold on several resale platforms. Every once in a while, when you buy same day, you have an issue where someone is literally unavailable to transfer the tickets. Or they have them cross-posted and somebody beats you to them. In this case, I bought a parking pass day of a game (9 hours before the game). 3 hours before the game, no pass. 2 hours before the game, I reached out and said "I'm about to park, I'll make other arrangements, just cancel my order".
The response from Vivid was not "No problem, we have that 100% guarantee", it was "You just bought these today, parking passes probably haven't been 'released' yet.". Never heard back from them. I found a cheap cash lot, hiked to the stadium and enjoyed my event. Parking passes were never sent. It's almost 24 hours later, no money credited back to my account yet, but I did get a $10 coupon for future purchases. Avoid these guys, use one of the ticket places that is run like an actual business.

I purchased tickets for the Usher Concert in Atlanta through Vivid Seats. Flew in, picked up my car rental, and checked in my hotel. Only to find out the show was cancelled just hours before schedule. Reached out to Vivid the customer service was awful and denied a refund because the show was rescheduled at an inconvenient date. Monday December 9th. The law should prosecute them when a company extorts your money after not fulfilling their obligations. It was not anyone’s fault but the company has no recourse to solve the issue after my time money and days off were wasted. I will never shop with them and I hope the federal government holds them accountable with expensive fines!

The venue has the sole discretion regarding cancellation and rescheduling of any events they host, and in this case they opted to reschedule the show. This means that your tickets remain valid for entry. We notified you via email as soon as we were made aware of the rescheduling of the concert, at approximately 12:26PM Central time the day of the show.
Our role as a marketplace is to facilitate a safe, secure transaction, and to ensure that you receive authentic and valid tickets for your order. To that end, we have upheld our end of the transaction and the seller has provided your tickets. If you're unable to make arrangements to attend on the rescheduled date, you are always welcome to resell your unwanted tickets using another platform or through social media to recoup some or all of the cost of your order. Was a little confused with your credit process. Not saying unhappy, but I think your process should be spelled out more clearly. As I am typing this I decided to take another star away. I recently had a birthday and the only thing I received was a sales pitch. My Satisfaction is NOT paramount obviously.

This is a garbage company. They do not offer clear seller guidance, they deliver incorrect tickets, they have absolutely no interest in helping their consumers. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT USE.

Received tickets. Vivid Seats would not let me resell before the concert. Customer service told me that I could not sell because the event was “sold out” on their site. I explained that a sold out event might sell well even though I wanted face value. Customer service told me that I could sell through Ticketmaster or StubHub?? The reason I called Vivid Seats is because when I clicked on “sell tickets” I was not directed to a sales portal. Online chat said that there was not a phone number associated with my account so they could not help. When I called, my phone number was associated with the tickets purchased. Asked customer service rep if I could speak to a supervisor and was told “No”. Deceptive and opaque business practices. I will report to my state AG.
Hi Nancy, we allow fan sellers to list certain kinds of tickets. These would be tickets that are printable or are physical tickets that must be shipped via UPS. Your tickets are mobile tickets, so we would not be able to accept a listing from you for this event for these specific tickets. Additionally, the event must be more than 24-48 hours out from the time you are looking to create the listing to ensure there is plenty of time for you to provide the tickets to whomever buys them. The phone number associated with your ticket order is not the same as a phone number associated with a seller account, which is why you were receiving that error when trying to contact our seller support team. You would have been prompted to enter this information if you were able to create a listing with us.
If you are ever unable to list your tickets with us, you always have the option to resell your tickets elsewhere using another platform or website, or independently via social media. Supervisors are not available to speak over the phone as their duties are internal-facing. Any information or assistance you would receive from a supervisor would be consistent with the information you'd receive from any of our agents. While we're disappointed to hear that you were unable to attend the event, we hope you understand our reason for our sales policies and procedures, and that you were able to resell your tickets elsewhere in the end.

Craaazzyy that you guys promote yourselves as a way for people to save money by getting ‘cheaper seats,’ but you let anyone and every scalper overprice their tickets and also give them the title of a super seller despite selling an originally $500 ticket for $2k-$4k.

Vivid Customer for life! Thanks to Ms **! I had purchased some VIP tickets from Vivid for a special concert for myself and my youngest to attend. We were so excited and looked forward to the concert for months. However, upon arrival, and throughout the evening, the concert, the seats, the experience was not what I had purchased nor expected. I had used Vivid Seats exclusively for all of our concerts, program, game, tickets, and music festivals, because of the great prices and packages but was prepared to no longer patronize this company because of the poor outcomes had in this occasion.
All of that changed today. I had waged my concern with Customer Service the night of the concert and a week later I received a call from **, following up. I explained to ** my frustration, including all the specifics of the concert which truly was horrible. I tried to be mindful of the fact that this young lady was not what caused the problem and articulate myself in a way that was kind, but I’m sure I didn’t come across that way. She still remain gracious and immediately sprang into action saying she would run my concerns up the flagpole. I honestly didn’t expect to hear anything back.
Within an hour of our conversation ** reached out again with an answer and a solution to the issue and a remedy beyond anything I anticipated. I was absolutely blown away. **, Vivid Seats, cared that I am a long time customer, they cared that I was dissatisfied, they cared enough to attempt to make up for a bad experience. That is unheard of in today’s environment. I will continue to use Vivid seats exclusively because of ** and what Vivid allowed her to extend.

After using Vivid Seats several times with no issue I was confident in purchasing tickets to a Baltimore Orioles game on August 23rd as a Father’s Day gift. I purchased tickets in Section 86, the “Bird Bath” which is considered a premium section so I did not mind paying a higher price, $142 per ticket BEFORE the $50 per ticket fee.
On August 5th I received tickets to section 78, $50 a ticket. I contacted Vivid Seats on August 6th and sent the tickets as requested and did not receive a response. I followed up again on August 12th without a response. I finally spoke with a representative on August 15th who said that my tickets were considered valid since they were “seat saver”. Neither my confirmation nor my receipt reflect seat saver and reflect that my tickets are for Section 86. Vivid Seats is supporting sellers’ upcharging for seats that have no intention of providing and getting out of their guarantee but saying they are “seat saver” without buyer's knowledge.

Do not use Vivid Seats, it's a scam!! I purchased tickets in April 2024 for a Bruno Mars concert to be held today August 15, 2024. We were really looking forward to this concert at the opening of the Intuit Dome. After many calls over the last several days, as of 10 AM today, I still do not have my tickets that I paid $1,202.22 for. Their agents kept telling me to be patient, that I would receive the tickets but, in reality, no effort was being made to obtain and send me my tickets. Today, the day of the concert, I asked the representative to cancel my order and refund my purchase which she said she would process. I will never use Vivid Seats again!

I paid for parking for a Luke Bryan concert at the Kia theater. I arrived at the venue and the email had not arrived. The parking attendant would not let me park without paying a second time. After I received the parking pass and was already inside the Kia forum, a representative said I would receive a refund. Today the company is saying they did nothing wrong and won’t refund the parking. So now I paid 2 times for one vehicle at the forum. Do not purchase from Vivid Seats.

They are a third party who will sell you tickets to a sold-out show. That is what happened to me. Buy directly from the vendor or from a party the vendor is associated with. I received an e-mail that my tickets were canceled. I called the vendor and they explained about how third parties take advantage of fans, they buy tickets and sell them when shows are already selling out. Do not use Vivid Seats!

Got last minute tickets to Jon legend. Purchased tickets at 620pm. Concert started at 7. Was told had to print tickets so had to wait for them to be delivered before leaving for venu. Called helpline and was told had to wait. Kept asking to be transferred to someone who could help as time was ticking. Was told this was against policy. After 30m on phone and 10 m was finally transferred where I was sent upgraded tickets. Whilst this was great, we didn't arrive at venu until 730 as we had to wait to make sure we could use etix. We missed first 30 and spent just under an hr on phone. If customer service had transferred us right away, we could have made the open. Very disappointing and frustrating.
