    I paid for tickets to the Seattle Portland soccer game and never got the tickets and they kept my money! Why is this company allowed to be in business? Is there no regulatory agency that governs this absurd activity.

    Took so long to get our tickets we couldn't use them for parking because we were already in the parking garage without them. Had to buy parking again so that we could go ahead and park. They refused to give us the 80$ they charged us. That by the way we paid 40$ in cash at the garage itself. Such a rip-off. Should get zero stars.

    I would give Vivid Seats 0 stars if that was an option. I am a mom that works part-time and I don't make a lot so to buy concert tickets for $300+ is a big deal for me. I was charged $320 for 2 tickets. I asked for a refund or to resell these tickets and was told (by Vivid Seats) - NO, which was fine. No big deal. I was willing to keep the tickets. However, Vivid Seats went behind my back and sold my tickets for half the price (and informed me of this in an email after the fact). I requested a full refund ($320) since they sold my tickets and, again, was told - NO. They are garbage and their customer service is also garbage. Buy your tickets elsewhere. They are sketchy and will take your money and then sell your tickets without your consent for way less (and keep the difference as profit).

    I paid $ 2675.00 for row 1 ticket section A3 Rolling Stones concert Glendale AZ and they sent me row 11. This is my birthday and I purchased these tickets for that. Row 11 is what they sent Which was going for way less. They would not resolve and did nothing at all about fixing it. I called twice. It was elevated but they still did nothing.

    I'd give a negative review if I could - talked to 5 different people about unreleased tickets only to be told there's nothing their team could do 10 mins before the event. I asked them to cancel the order before leaving my home for the venue (with a 7 year old in tow) and they refused. Got to the venue and only then would they cancel the tickets with no other seats options available. Customer service team likes to say there's nothing else that can be done. Don't waste your time with this joke of a company.

    Evidently $35 times two equals $98 according to Vivid Seats. You press purchase tickets and it's a done deal with an arbitrary fee added to the total. No explanation, no advanced notice, no recourse. This is not the way an organization with any integrity operates.

    BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I purchased 2 tickets to a concert 4 months in advance. After receiving an email marked urgent telling me I must accept my tickets, I watched my inbox. 2 days passed, no tickets, so I contacted Vivid Seats. They told me to download several apps all to no avail. They had me check my inbox using keywords, no tickets. They then told me to wait. The next day, still no tickets. I called again. They had me do the same process, which I had already done prior to calling. No tickets. They then said they would contact the seller. The next day, still no tickets, so I called again. I was assured the tickets had been sent and it was my error. They made me verify all information and asked for my credit card number. I went through the entire process again!

    We were making a 10 hour drive the next day to see this concert. I did not want to drive without the tickets. I was told they were guaranteed and I would have them. We made the drive the next day and on the way I called again. I was assured it just took time to process the retransfer and the tickets were coming. It is the day of the concert. No tickets. I am being told they have not been able to contact the seller and the issue has been escalated. They offered a refund. That doesn’t get back the time, drive, overnight stay, time off work. They could have told me this 3 days ago before I made the drive. Total scam. BEWARE!!!

    I just got an email saying the ticket is ready, but the ticket is not in the section I ordered. I ordered in section 22 row M, but the ticket is section 16 row L. After discussing this with customer support, Vivid Seats surprisingly claims that this is even an upgrade!!! How ridiculous, the people who runs the VividSeats is just unbelievable. I am very disappointed by the service, the fee is so expensive. The whole experience feels like a scam.

    I bought tickets through Vivid and what I received was not what I ordered. Vivid blamed it on the seller of the tickets and did nothing to help me. Vivid is ok unless you have an issue then you’re on your own.

    Do not use Vivid Seats EVER! THIS IS WRITTEN 5-1-24. We purchased tickets to the New Orleans Jazz fest in January. We are about to board the plane and we still haven't received our tickets. I called customer service and they said that they can't reissue tickets and send them to the venue. The tickets were 1500.00 USD. Do not ever use this site. No emails , no solutions! Do not use this site EVER!

    I purchased a premium parking ticket to see Billy Strings in St Augustine on April 20th, was told the lot was oversold and was denied access to park. Vivid Seats is refusing to refund my ticket, stating "Parking is first come first serve." Who buys an $80 ticket that is first come first serve? Such a horrible excuse on their part for not issuing a refund, especially since their policy is 100% buyer guarantee. The customer service rep refused multiple times to transfer me to a manager to escalate the case. The whole point of buying premium parking is to guarantee a spot close to the venue. I had two young children and had to park a mile away and missed the beginning of the show. This company does not adhere to their policy of 100% guarantee. Buyer beware!

    I had the worst experience with Vivid Seats. My total tie 2 tickets came to 91$ with the security insurance. The night of the concert I can't find my tickets anywhere. I call vivid seats and send multiple messages and nothing. Long story short I had to buy 2 more tickets at the gate 'cause I looked like a dumb **. I have since called and sent multiple messages. Vivid seats said they sent the tickets therefore they won't refund me or credit my account. But I have looked multiple times. They aren't in my email. Vivid seats refuses to refund my money.

    I’m upgrading my original evaluation of Vivid and making a positive recommendation. I had marked them down because of fees and delivery, but they were responsive to my issues and I accept that there are costs involved in providing a high level of service. However, some of the factors that go into on-time delivery are outside their control and they cannot (or won’t?) alter a delivery once a package is on its way. I ordered six days before the concert which should have been plenty even with standard delivery, but paid an extra $10 for express overnight just in case. The seller wrote the UPS label Wednesday, the day of the order, but did not drop off the package until noon Thursday.

    I've had good luck with Vivid on a few occasions but fees are excessive. $107 on tickets valued at $270. Plus almost $25 for UPS delivery. I paid an extra $10 for expedited overnight delivery which took 5 days. Tickets are now scheduled to arrive the day before the concert, which is their guarantee anyway with standard delivery. They refused to refund the $10, giving all sorts of off-target irrelevant excuses. Their service rep did stay with me to the end though, so they do answer. Overall, OK service but disappointing for those reasons.

    Purchased tickets back in Feb for the Clutch show in RVA on 4/26. Driving 3 hours to the show and go to pull up the tickets and there are no tickets. Go into the customer service chat and was told that they were sorry and would look into it. After about 15 mins they came back and told me that seller no longer had the tickets even though I purchased them months prior. They said they would see about a replacement then came back and said the show is sold out so they would give me a refund.

    Told them that was unacceptable because on their site right then they were selling tickets to that show still. And they told me that there was nothing available for what I paid and could take the refund and put it towards buying new tickets. (GA show, all tickets same price face value.) But I purchased month earlier because I didn’t want to spend 3x’s the amount day of for the same tickets. They did not seem to care and were extremely rude about the entire situation. And refused to do anything to make it right. How they could sell you tickets then allow the seller to sell them for a higher price or back out and not even let you know ahead of time is just ridiculous. It is a terrible business and nobody should ever use this site again.

Typically we are able to provide you with commensurate replacements, however as pricing on our platform changes in real time as tickets are bought and sold, this can mean that no replacements are available even if there are tickets currently listed for sale, as we don't own any of the tickets ourselves.

    Horrible. 2 very bad experiences. 6 months ago we bought seats to fly to Denver to see Queen. Tickets never showed up. We're in the lobby of the venue and after the show started and several calls to customer service we get an email that said they couldn't get our tickets so they refunded us.. What about our airfare ad hotel and horrible night. Then today we had purchased 6 concert tickets in the front of section 103 for Clint Black and the tickets never showed up we bought months ago. Called cust service and got the run around. Finally after posting on X someone calls me back and says the seller didn't have the tickets and they had a solution of moving us from the front of 103 to the back of 303. Unacceptable.. So they canceled the order again.

    What a disappointment. I purchased last minute ticket to Drake concert at the UBS arena March 29th and to my surprise, I was not able to see the stage at all! The security who checked my ticket to assure I was in the correct location let me know immediately that I will not be able to see the show. Surely when I went to my seat, I could not see. I didn’t stay at the show because of this reason. I called Vivid the next day, and also followed up with no help/support to get a refund or partial refund. So, I will never purchase from this site again. I added pics to show my view and the view of what I should have seen.

    Just purchased $500 worth of tickets for $691.40. Could barely read the web page, (see screen shot pic). Entered my CC info (which was dumb on my part) in hopes of getting to the next screen to review total in more legible font. In doing so, I fumbled around the illegible screen searching for the total and mistakenly clicked confirm. Boom. Bought myself 4 tickets without seeing the total.

    Called customer service to explain the misleading and illegible joke of a website I was just swindled on. But all I was told was my only option is to resell the tickets. Super idea Vivid, please resell my tickets so you can swindle another unsuspecting user out of $181.40 in fees that aren’t legible on your site. Vivid is a certificate Joke. Users Beware!!!

    I was misled by the site and bought the wrong tickets. I tried everything to immediately cancel/refund or request help. Their policies are very clear that you are completely HOSED. There is no resolution and your only option is to try to resell the tickets so they get more fees. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

    I recently went to a concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheater in Alpharetta, GA and needed to solve for parking. Vivid seats offered parking for $69. On top of that, there was a service fee that brought the parking tickets all the way up to over $100. When we went to park in the location we purchased the ticket, the parking was completely free. No attendant needed to see any sort of ticket. Vivid seats is a complete scam, and I will be looking to receive my money back. I cannot believe they would try and charge for a "parking ticket" for a lot that has free parking. Unbelievable.

    BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY - YOU CANNOT SELL TICKETS on Vivid Seats that ARE ELECTRONIC TRANSFER, or HAVE A QR CODE FOR A MOBILE DEVICE. You can only sell paper tickets like you would get at a box office or ones that are in a PDF that you print. Stop and think about this for a minute. 1. What do all the venues state these days when they sell you a ticket? “Your phone is your ticket” and 2. What do all the “phone-tickets” have on them? A QR Code! So basically the leader on the Vivid Seats website that states it’s so easy peasy to sell your tickets on their site is pretty much a lie. The venues don’t want PDFs and probably don’t want those hard copy heavy stock tickets much either.

    Within 10 years those will be over and done. Let the buyer beware and read the fine print! I didn’t realize any of this so I got stuck with a parking pass I didn’t need. Funny thing is, the pass is 100% transferable, just not for money unless I sell it outside of Vivid Seats. Wait, what? You mean I can sell them? Their agent even encouraged me to scalp the parking pass at a 3rd party site. Tell me how this makes any sense at all. Oh and the “Live Chat” - the only way to get an agent is to choose the topic “other”. All other topics in the list funnel you to yet another useless Bot. Not the best experience. I will never use them again.

    Another 1 star. Beware of hidden fees at checkout. For some reason not listed on final print receipts. It had to be requested! Absolute joke. BEWARE Customer service was basically just reading a response card. Multiple requests by me for management turned down.

    Be very careful of the hidden cost that don’t show up until just before you hit pay. $180 dollars of ticket cost me $275. Cost should be shown up front so you know everything before wasting your time. Yes it may be what everyone is doing (customer service). But is also why others are getting sued.

    Beware...Never buy tickets from Vivid unless it's days before the show. Vivid is a market place and prices can drop dramatically. I purchased Neil Young tickets at $500 each and now better seats are $140 each. There is nothing they can do. Buy direct from the Venue or Ticketmaster.

    I purchased a parking spot for a ball game. The cost was $49.00. Vivid added $26.00 in fees. Then the parking lot charge a additional $20.00 fee. The parking lot has sign that says $30 bucks as drive up. Vivid refused to refund any part of the additional $26 fees they added on. $30 parking spot for $86. Not happy. Will never use them again.

    Will never purchase from them again. Was shown the venue was sold out with a few remaining terrible seats. Bought the terrible high priced seats, only to recheck 3 months later to find better, lower priced seats. Called and was told by one agent I could resell them on the website. It didn't work. Called back and was told I couldn't resell a digital ticket, even on their website. Customer service is terrible, misleading and vague. DON'T PURCHASE FROM THEM, had I read the reviews first I wouldn't be sitting on 300 dollars worth of nose bleed seats.

    I purchased two tickets to the April 13th Billy Joel/Sting Concert in Petco Park. I have never spend so much on tickets, but these seats, advertised as in front of the stage, and not obstructed view were a chance to see an artist I have followed my whole life. When we arrived, everyone in our section was upset, talking to the venue about legal action, and it was a total disaster. The security guard confirmed we were all ripped off. We couldn't even see the stage, but we could see the boxes the band traveled with. I see the proof to Vivid showing them the stage was not to be seen, and they simply said sorry, seats weren't obstructed. Terrible service.

    Vivid is such a scam... I purchased tickets back in November for my family and I to go to an event in March. That same day of the order confirmation I purchased the tickets I got a link to get my tickets through Ticketmaster and then comes up "Oops this ticket transfer was already accepted by another email address." I could not believe what I saw because clearly they double-sold these tickets to someone else that clearly was not me or my email address.

    I went to speak to an agent through Vivid and they are trying to blame Ticketmaster and saying it was a technical issue and they will resolve it and help me get my tickets, then they are trying to tell me to contact Ticketmaster, so I said, "Ok no problem I will..." We contact them and they said it's not on their end, it's VIVID's end, so here we go again contacting Vivid. We did this a good 5 times back and forth because Vivid did not want to take any accountability of their actions, they clearly double-sold my tickets to someone else because it was saying it was accepted by another email, not mine... and they would not tell me that email address because clearly they messed up on their end. It's on them till this day because I did not get my tickets and couldn't go to my event and refused to give me any refund and will never EVER use them again. I would not recommend this company to anyone they are a SCAM they will take your money.

    DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! I ordered two wristbands for a Las Vegas festival concert. The only positive was that they were received ahead of schedule. Thank god! They give you a delivery date of like two days before the event which is absolutely terrifying. I received the bands about 3 weeks before the event but unfortunately one of the bands was tightened in transit and locked into place. The band was too tight to fit on our hands. I reached out to Vivid seats three different times. I was promised they would find a solution and reach back out to me which they never did. During my 3rd time contacting them, I let them know the problem and the reps response was, "I'm so sorry." No solution of any kind. Was I supposed to just say, "Oh it's okay.." And then never go to the event? The two bands were almost $1,300 not to mention the hotels we booked, childcare, time off of work and everything else that was set up.

    They said I could contact the venue and see if they could help. Vivid seats is the reason I'm in the predicament so vivid seats should be contacting the venue to find a solution for their customer. Not to mention, they wouldn't even give me any information of the seller OR the venue. I'm not a week before the event and am unsure if we can even attend. I will be disputing with my bank and marking this as a fraudulent charge!

    Save yourself the trouble and buy from any other ticket place, will save you time and money in the long run. After buying tickets a month plus in advance, the day of the event comes around and I have to spend hours talking to customer service, which I feel bad for them because they get the brunt of how terrible this business is (not their fault). They tell me not to worry and will not cancel my order until 2 hours before the show, that time finally comes around and they never get me the tickets so I have to scramble and find a different resale site where I had to pay double if I had just went to them in the first place. I wouldn't even take an offer for free tickets from Vivid Seats because who know if they would even show up. They need to be shut down.

    Placed an order for 2 tickets to Gabriel Iglesias comedy show in Dallas, TX months before the event. Vivid Seats stated that I would receive my tickets on or before 4/14/2024. The day of the event, NO TICKETS WERE RECEIVED. Called customer services and was on the phone with them 2 hours before the event started and all they could tell me is that the seller had transferred the tickets and there is nothing further they can do. The customer service rep stated it must be an issues on Ticket Master end and told me to call Ticket Master. Ticket Master had no sign of any tickets. Vivid Seats customer service rep stated there is nothing they could do as it shows tickets were transferred.

    I never received an email with my tickets or instructions on how to receive my tickets. I did receive my receipt of $500 showing I paid for those tickets. After 2 hours and 30 minutes of I ONLY RECEIVED RUDE RESPONSES AND NEVER RECEIVED THE TICKETS and WAS NOT GIVEN A REFUND Vivid Seats customer service rep stated they did their investigation and because the seller showed proof of sending the tickets, they would not refund me my money. I asked to see the proof the seller provided then, and Vivid Seats customer service rep stated they could not show me.

    Bought tickets and since I only googled “is vivid seats legit” I bought through them. I got emailed the tickets. I cannot attend now, the concert is in September. I sent them a message and they say I need an actual ticket not an online one. Ummmm you sent me the ticket online and most companies only do online anyways. Make it make sense. Hoping to resell them but now I’m Nervous too because so many people say their tickets were fake! Hoping mine aren’t, but is there anyway to know?

    In February, I purchased hockey tickets for an event on April 11. I never received the tickets, and on the day of the event, I called the customer service department, asking them to please send the tickets to the game that I had already paid for. They just continued promising my tickets would be there on time. An hour before the game, I called again and finally reached someone that was willing to help me. The original tickets never made it to me after multiple attempts, and the agent offered to get me other seats because we had already taken time off, and paid for parking.

    I honestly believe they sold the tickets to someone else and so they were no longer available to send to me. We ended up receiving very downgraded tickets- went from center ice to around the goal line. I had asked at that time if I would be receiving compensation because of the downgraded tickets (I didn’t even mention the horrible customer service) and the agent said she would put in a ticket for my case. I never received follow-up. I called again, and was later told that they had proof they had sent me the tickets, which I found interesting because I had proof they didn’t send me the tickets.

    Anyway, basically they said they didn’t have to compensate me because they sent the tickets, it was my problem I didn’t receive them, and it was a courtesy that they gave me the downgraded tickets. Wouldn’t one think that it wasn’t a problem on my end because I did receive the second set of tickets with no problem at all? After reading more reviews on here, I regret not looking into this company before giving them my money as it is clear that they’ve been doing this to innocent people for a long time.

    I purchased tickets to my husband's favorite band in November 2023. The concert was scheduled for today (4/18/24). Despite repeated phone calls to Vivid Seats, the tickets were never transferred by the seller. Their Customer Service representatives are outsourced and do not speak English. It is apparent they are reading from a script. I am so disappointed that we never received our tickets, but fortunately, my credit card company will replace the funds that Vivid Seats took without delivering the promised tickets. BUYER BEWARE!!!

    I bought two event tickets on Vivid Seats. I’ve attached a picture of my transaction. Note the guarantee at the bottom stating ”Buyer Guarantee: Valid tickets in time for event or your money back”.

    1. At the venue they tried to scan the QR codes and said “these are fraudulent tickets”.
    2. I went to the box office and they said no tickets had been sold for the seats my “tickets” designated.

    3. I called Vivid the next day and wasted a lot of time getting the runaround. They said I have to fill in a dispute form, but they don’t send it, and support said it could take 2-3 months to investigate my dispute.

    I’ve disputed the charge on my credit card and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

    I was purchasing tickets for me and my wife for the Dallas blues festival. My first purchase was a mistake. I accidentally bought one seat and I was looking for 2 seats. One side notice.     Purchased a single ticket for Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden for April 26th. The ticket I purchased was advertised as row 7 which was the same row as the rest of my family that is attending the concert. The ticket that I received was for Row 1.     Caution: there's a hidden charge that could be as high as $233.64. Despite expecting to pay $293 for each of my two tickets, I was startled to discover upon purchase that I had inadvertently bought three tickets due to this substantial hidden fee.     I purchased nba finals tickets for the Boston Celtics (contingent on them making it). I purchased them a while ago to save money. Well, Vivid Seats calls me to say they made a mistake and shouldn’t have sold me those seats. I said, "Ok fine so your website states you will exchange with comparable or better seats since I bought early to save money." The guy was so rude and said in the internal memos the guarantee only applies if the costs are the same. Now, if I end up going it’s gonna cost me double.     Vivid Seats is not a reputable ticket holder, their tickets will not work when you get to the venue site. The barcodes don’t load, they are not trustworthy. When you arrive at your event, they won’t allow you to enter 'cause their barcodes don’t work. Don’t buy tickets from Vividseats, sometimes their tickets work and sometimes they don’t, so don’t risk it.

    I previously had great service using Vivid Seats but after today I will NEVER use them again. Tickets were supposed to be received yesterday the day prior to the event. Chat bot assured me they would deliver before end of the day. Woke up to find they still had not been transferred. Called 4 times throughout the day and got 4 completely different answers. Which was the lie? Show is sold out so it feels very likely they flipped for a higher price. It would have been nice to get that info early early on instead of that venue isn’t releasing the tickets until 2.5-3.5 hours prior to event when I had a chance to get tickets elsewhere. I will NEVER use them again. Even if I’m paying twice the price on another provider's site.

    This is a scam, you order tickets and can’t access them, I’m literally two days away from a concert. Haven’t received my tickets and they keep saying I’ll get them but still haven’t.     I purchased a ticket for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert in London this summer. However, after purchasing the ticket, I discovered the following under AEG's official terms and conditions: "Your ticket(s) will immediately become invalid if resold or offered for sale unless the sale is through the official ticket agent fan-to-fan exchange. Tickets sold via third parties and other unauthorized outlets, including online auction sites, are not valid for admission. The resale of a ticket via unauthorized outlets renders it invalid and may lead to refusal of entry." and, "Only tickets purchased through approved ticket agents (Ticketmaster, AXS, and official venue ticket agents) are valid for admission. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission."

    After realizing this, I disputed this charge with PayPal to attempt to receive my funds back so that I may purchase a ticket through Ticketmaster or AXS instead. PayPal sided with Vivid Seats because they reported to them that the service for this transaction was delivered to me. I have not been transferred any tickets. In fact, these tickets are not even transferable yet, which I also found out after purchasing. VividSeats takes no responsibility for scamming me out of $1,279.29 for a ticket that is not valid for entry.

    I purchased tickets to see Aerosmith from Vivid Seats. Aerosmith canceled the original show date AND the first rescheduled date. I was told I could not get a refund and had to wait for a second rescheduled date. Aerosmith rescheduled a third date, but stated customers could get a refund from the ticket vendor.     I asked to speak to a manager higher than the representative I spoke to and was refused that option. It was stated I was sent the link, but know without a shadow of doubt that I didn’t receive the link. The first representative, Pheobe, sent me a link that didn’t work, thus the investigation that should have shown the link being sent and not working. I wasn’t able to attend the event, I was actively present at, due to not getting the link to scan at the event I paid for.

    Being told the link was sent from your end and the customer doesn’t get the link to use, is called a technical issue, in which the customer shouldn’t be held accountable for, but I was and now my money is gone, no event attended and nothing but a negative experience/ review will be expressed. No different than a scam that ran on innocent individuals everyday, but this is suppose to be a legitimate company. I will never change my mind on this incident and will definitely inform everyone I know not to utilize this service, even if you change my review’s verbiage to fit your website.

If you don't receive any such email, this means you will need to log into the venue or team account manager to access your ticket.     I spent $1000 on tickets to A comedy show I was sent three different emails with the steps of using the tickets electronically and how to download them to my phone. When I arrived at the venue, they said, the tickets had to be printed And they would not let us enter. I have all my emails from Vivid stating we could use the tickets electronically and now I’m out $1000 for a show we waited 10 months to see. Vivid refuses to make it right and even told me the emails clearly state tickets had to be printed when it clearly states they don’t and even 1 of the emails recommended NOT printing the tickets. When doing a survey online For them as states that they can change and rewrite your survey before they post it.

    These guys are 100% scam! DON'T EVER FALL FOR IT! Needed tickets fast for a concert - googled for it and Vivid Seats came up - not knowing this venue, thought that was their preferred broker... For $111 seats there was a $45 upcharge - I thought that was a rip but what are you going to do. I bought the seats and immediately realized I was scammed... The seats at ticketmaster were half the price of these with half the "fees" - not only that the seats I bought were described as a private table. When really I was paying $150 per seat for a general admission area... OMG! I called 5 minutes after buying the tickets - nope - there is no human to talk to. I chatted and got essentially a bot named Mary saying about 100 different ways they will not refund.

    I purchased 4 tickets for Jeff Lynne and ELO in Boston for upcoming show. The cost was $387 ea. Good price for the section compared with others. However the total cost was in excess of,$2000.     Sometimes zero stars or even negative Star ratings should be possible. Today is 04/04. On 04/03 I started sourcing tickets for a concert that will be held on 09/26 (almost 6 months from now). On Ticketmaster they are only available as presale for people with a special kind of credit card which I don't have. So went looking for them on ticket marketplace, for some reason I went with Vivid Seats.

    I did not mind the extra on the price since I know they are reselling them and seller and them of course want to make something. The surprise was that after paying for the tickets what I received was a "Your tickets are from a trusted seller and are confirmed. You will receive them on or before 09/24." So at this moment I don't even know my seat numbers, and only have a promise I receive in 6 months the tickets or get me money back.

    I found a family member with the credit card that can purchase in the presale so went ahead and got 2 tickets 15 rows closer to the stage at less than half of what I spent on Vivid seats. So today I go to Vividseats to put the tickets I purchased from them on sale and turns out they don't let me sell them through them since I don't yet have them. So they can sell me a promise to a future ticket but I can't resell the same? I should have done a better research and read all the fine prints, since I didn't I am posting here to give fair warning to other people. By the way live chat only got me to an agent telling me giving me the run around.

    I purchased tickets for the Barcelona Real Madrid game in NYC using this site. Paid $1000 for the tickets and saw the funds leave my bank account. Not 2 minutes after I received a notification of cancellation. I tried the chat to see what happened, but that only suggested I repurchase the tickets. I called to speak with a representative and they kept telling me that the account wasn’t verified so Vivid Seats cancelled the tickets. The funds had still been withdrawn and they said it would take 5-10 business days to get refunded.

    I eventually got someone to say that there should have been an account confirmation email but I never received any such email. I also explained there is no way it could have been received and verified that fast because of the firewall on my account. I ended up having to have my bank deal with this because after hours on the phone I could not get anyone who could understand English beyond reading from a script and they refused to give me a manager or someone in finance. Reports have been filed with the police, FTC, and FBI.

    Found a FB Group dedicated to issues with Vivid Seats. Saw that many people had gotten refunds and their issues resolved by emailing the CEO. I did so and was refunded the full amount in a very timely manner. I have seen many people in sporting event groups say they have great experiences with Vivid Seats. While I’m still leery to use again, and their 800 customer service was terrible, I am very happy with how the issue was resolved. Updated to 3 stars. Hopefully myself and the Facebook group are the minority that have issues.

    I wish you could give zero stars. Absolutely appalled how this business is run. I ordered a parking pass for KC Royals Opening Day (3/28) the night before (3/27). When I received the email confirmation the parking pass is for a game in JUNE! I called customer service the SECOND they opened the next day/day of the event. The customer service agent was clearly just reading from a script and did not listen to what I was saying. She asked if I had screenshot everything… because that’s normal to screenshot everything from adding in your card to check out online?

    My husband literally was right next to me when I ordered the pass, I selected the correct date. So I’m told all I can do is resell it, but wait, NOT THROUGH VIVIDSEATS. They won’t even resell the item I just bought through them. And they don’t have to “deliver” until the day before the event. So I’m supposed to sell something I don’t even have… The customer service agent said if I just send my email confirmation to another company they should let me sell it. Yah, okay. I am absolutely disgusted by the whole experience. My only hope is my experience will save others from the absolute headache of this company. I wish I would have heeded the warnings in the bad reviews when I was trying to pick where to buy a parking pass from.

    So I saw this ad email from Vivid claiming Styx and Reo Speedwagon were coming on April 6th to Hertz area in Ft Myers. My brother's birthday is April 3rd so I'll take him. Long story short this did not include Styx which was my reason for buying these bogus tickets. I tried to get a refund and no luck. Now I'm trying to sell these on Ticketmaster for a $40 loss. Next time I will never go to a third party seller and go directly to Ticketmaster.

    My concert I purchased tickets for was postponed for months. Still no date has been given. I will be leaving for the next 7 months to school so I cannot go. Vivid Seats will not do any refunds keep this in mind and the 3rd party insurance they sell will not refund you either. You are on your own to sell your tickets or eat the cost!! Very unhappy especially because the band clearly states on their website if you cannot attend refunds will be given. Not true with vivid seats! Never again.

    I would give them "0" stars if I could. I purchased two tickets to the Nuggets-Raptors game in Denver. I was notified via email that the tickets had been delivered to my email. However, there was no delivery. I contacted VS at least 4 times before game time-the last time being two hours before starting time. Every time I got the run-around. They had me log on to the Raptors-Ticketmaster website (why? I don't know). They had me provide an alternative email address. I never got tickets to that email either. I searched every folder with every keyword they suggested. I finally had to buy tickets from another site. Since then, I have contacted Vivid Seats three times to get a refund, and they refuse because "the tickets were delivered". The website says that they guarantee delivery. They DO NOT; I will NEVER order from them again.

    We purchased tickets for the Old Dominion concert in Key West for March of 2023 through Vivid Seats. Unfortunately, the showed was postponed for this year due to an accident. After waiting an entire year we were scheduled to go to the Old Dominion concert for Friday March 22, 2024. It was cancelled once again due to bad weather. The concert was rescheduled for Sunday March 24, 2024 at 11:00am, which we were not able to attend. They gave us 24 hours to resell our own tickets with no help from them (which their website promises). They were unwilling to refund our tickets or give us a credit for a future show. Speaking with them was a waste of time! No one was willing to provide me with any supervisor or an email where my concerns could be heard with some sort of resolution. Basically, we gave them our money with nothing in return after they promise 100% customer satisfaction. What a disappointment. We will never, nor should anyone, trust them with your money again. What a shame!

    Unfortunately, Vivid Seats came up first in my online search for Shania Twain tickets and I bought a single ticket so I could join family in section 102, row A. My family assured me they’d seen a single ticket for sale online. I couldn’t find it on Vivid Seats (the first link that came up in my search) so I purchased one ticket in row F, breaking up a group of four seats in a row. Immediately after receiving my order confirmation and sharing with my family, they sent the Ticketmaster link where I could have actually purchased the ticket I wanted.

    My Vivid Seats ticket order had been confirmed but not yet sent by the seller, so I called Vivid Seats to inquire about reselling it. Apparently, the ticket I bought is “not eligible for resale” on Vivid Seats and a customer service rep told me I just could google other third party ticket sellers. What deceptive advertising. Now I’m stuck with a seat I don’t want, apart from my family, and I could have just spent more on Ticketmaster to get the seat I actually wanted and that is still available. Wish I’d realized Vivid Seats wasn’t the official ticketing outlet for the show. I’ll be sure to post loudly and often to my concert going friends not to ever click on this site.

    This company is a HUGE SCAM! Do not purchase tickets from them. I bought tickets but now I'm unable to travel due to a health emergency. I tried to cancel my order which they won't allow and have continued to charge me (almost $600 at this point!). I've then said well if you're going to charge me give me the tickets and I'll resell them but they refuse to give me the tickets until the day of show or resell them on their website (which ticket resales are an option on their website but apparently not electronic transfer tickets, even though it's all through their website) so basically I am out all of this money. I understand if I can't cancel but at lest provide me tickets so I can resell them. I've never seen another concert company that waits until day of show to provide tickets, making it impossible to resell when you have a LEGITIMATE health reason. I will never EVER use this site and will actively tell anyone I know to never use them! So disappointed!

    Yes, Vivid seats is a shady and deceitful business. Beware! They don't show all the charges until you enter your credit card information. They didn't provide me any information regarding my purchase, couldn't provide the seat numbers and when I called to request purchased tickets, they refused, stating that it will be emailed to me day before the event. An individual I talked to on the phone, was condescending and very rude. The tickets to the concert in reality don't cost even $200, but with their applied charges (who even knows for what) and insurance that automatically was attached to the purchase (after I entered credit card information) came up to be almost $500 per ticket. They don't let you review your purchase, although they gaslight you that you agreed to those charges. Please, stay away from these scammers.

    I specifically picked seats for SEC Basketball Tournament and paid in full. I was sent Terrible seats different than what I paid for. I called and was told it was an upgrade. I said it is not an upgrade. I wanted the seats I paid for. Vivid rep told me it’s an upgrade in their opinion and that’s the only opinion that matters. I emailed and was told matter closed.     I purchased three tickets for Zach Bryan at Prudential Center in Newark NJ at $394. (!) Each. First of all, be warned that the ticket price almost doubled in my cart due to the fees. Secondly, be VERY WARY of the Prudential Center suite seats labeled SRO (standing room only). I called the actual venue in advance to ask about the standing area in the suite and was told there should be space to stand behind the barstool seats and see the performance. This was NOT the case. The suite was totally oversold and there was no way to be in the standing area and see the stage.

    I called Vivid to complain and they followed up to say they conducted an “investigation” - and the venue says the SRO view is not considered obstructed, so therefore they will not honor my complaint or issue any level of refund. I strongly suggested that as a company they refrain from selling those suite SRO tickets at a premium price and/or add some photos or more specific language about where one will stand and see. The agent didn’t sympathize or understand my point and just kept repeating the same “company line”. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from VIVID Seats.

    BEWARE! DECEITFUL BUSINESS – I do not often attend concerts and rarely offer reviews. This is important to me, however. Vivid Seats website was the first to populate on my search for tickets for an event. It is clearly listed on the site that tickets are higher because it is a re-sale site. Their ticket prices for ** in ** Florida were listed at $62 ea. Box office price was $44.50. I assumed, incorrectly, that the higher price WAS the re-sale price; but learned the hard way there are totally hidden fees. Optional insurance is NOT included in Vivid’s final total nor listed as a line item leading you to believe that the higher checkout price includes insurance. But, insurance fees show up later on credit card as totally separate charges. A very large service fee also does not show up anywhere in the billing process. It comes as a total surprise and only upon inquiry. Final fee I was charge is $88.38 / ticket times six tickets.

    They refuse all refund even mere hours following purchase and weeks prior to delivery. If you phone Vivid to complain they will hang up. If you chat with them, they will provide you with a song and dance, but no refund. They suggested I use insurance to obtain a refund. Remember that the insurance is NOT for this purpose, but only applicable if the event is cancelled. Copy your chat details or you will not be able to access them later. Document date, time, phone calls, everything with hard evidence. They will respond to every communication, including reviews, with sweet worthless words. They will challenge credit card disputes. Only because I keep meticulous documentation including evidence, and fought back diligently was I able to win the dispute with my credit card company for a full refund. I cancelled the insurance separately long BEFORE the event. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

    I will never personally buy seats with Vivid again. Purchase tickets with a listing that said sun deck section 146 row A. Receive tickets section 144 row N. It was virtually impossible to get someone within the United States who could understand what I was saying when calling customer service. Found the email for the CEO and other corporate officers which I emailed. Only then did I get a condescending customer service representative call me and just tell me I was wrong, there was nothing she would do either and I just have to eat the tickets that I don't want and never would have purchased. Stub Hub and Ticketmaster are way better.

    Placed this order the same day as the event and never confirmed. Tried the chat but that were issues with the app. An agent was nice enough to call back but I could not answer. I called them and spoke to Tonya. She offered to replace the ticket and said if the new ticket was higher, I would not need to pay the difference. The original ticket was $221.00 and $300.74 total including all the fees. Which was nice but that is where things go south. I found out later that the ticket she replaced was $130 plus fees. You would think she would try to look for a similar-priced ticket or even one that is slightly higher but I guess not.

    The reason I know that ticket is $130 plus fees is, that after the call, I went back on the app and purchased two more tickets that were in sequence to this seat and this seller was selling 1-7 seats at that price. That order was #** and the total was $355.68 and that was for two tickets. The seats were Section: Lower Box 128, Row: M, Seat # 1-3. She could have offered to cancel and refund that order and just place a new order at that lower price but instead, pocketed the difference (about $122.90). Just be careful because they do not look out for the customer and needless to say, I will not be purchasing from them again.

    Two minutes before the show after an hour of begging customer service for tickets is not "on time." I ordered same-day tickets three hours before a show but they were never delivered. When it got to an hour before the show, I chatted with an agent to ask where my tickets were. I spent the entire car ride there chatting while being assured my tickets would be delivered on time. We sat outside the venue a while, then got checked in through security, still no tickets, still chatting and spending my evening on begging customer service to get me the tickets I spent $300 on, while I saw other attendees enjoying pre-show drinks and relaxing.

    About 5 minutes to showtime --- an hour of customer service chatting --- the agent finally offered me some alternative tickets, five rows back, for the same price. That was my only option, other than just leaving disappointed, so I took it. The tickets were delivered at 7:28 for a 7:30 show. It was not physically possible to reach our seats in TWO minutes, considering we had to get tickets scanned in, walk up stairs, see an usher, and walk down to our seats. I spent the first 20 minutes of the show watching on a monitor in the lobby. After the show, I reached out to Vivid to get them to honor their guarantee that the tickets would be delivered on time for the show. I chatted with multiple agents and was sent through the investigation team and no refunds were offered. I offered to send photos of my watch showing 7:40 while I watched from a lobby monitor, unable to see the show on time because of the late delivery. Nothing mattered.

    Apparently, accepting tickets two minutes before the show was "on time" and that means no refunds. I'll never order from Vivid Seats again, as this was an awful experience for me and they did not even come close to honoring the on-time guarantee. I'm filing a chargeback because I didn't spend $300 on tickets to beg to get in and miss a quarter of the show.

    I’ve used Vivid Seats a fair bit in the past. Maybe bought tickets to 6-10 shows through them. Bought a ticket to a concert the morning of the show since I wasn’t sure if I would be working or not. Fast forward 2 hours before the show and I still didn’t have my entry ticket, they said it was sent to my email and put me in an infinite customer service loop and I actually had it redirected to another email to try and work with their troubleshooting, Vivid seats told me seller had proof the tickets were sent, and they definitely weren’t. So I was stuck, can’t get my money back and can’t get my ticket. It was 15 minutes now before the show and I said screw it, spent more money for an entirely new ticket through Ticketmaster and enjoyed the show. Extremely poor customer service, and they’ll stand behind shady sellers instead of backing clients.

    We purchased tickets in February for a concert in Las Vegas on Sat Mar 2. We flew out on Fri Mar 1 and had not received the tickets yet but mistakenly assumed we could pick up the tickets at on call by showing our paid receipts. That was not possible so we were forced to repurchase the tickets. Upon returning home, we discovered the tickets were not delivered to us until the day before the concert-the day we flew out of state. We contacted Vivid Seats for a refund and were told all sales are final. Never mind that they didn’t get tickets to us prior to the concert. They do not stand behind their promise and we will never use them again.

    I accidentally accpeted tickets with the wrong email. I called and had it fixed. Two days before the event I realized I still did not have my bar code. I called and was told that because I could not find an email they sent me, my tickets were no where to be found. They said it was not their fault I couldn't find an email they sent me and I was out of luck for the event. Literally I was told this. Worst customer experience of my life. NEVER order tickets from VIVID.

    Vivid Seats is absolutely a fraud of a company & the CEO and/or owner should be ashamed of themselves.     A show we bought tickets for was cancelled after we bought tickets with a “rescheduled” date of “to be determined.” Here we are over a year later and still no reschedule date. We called for a refund and they told us no and that the to be determined date could be up to 100 years!!!! We won’t even be alive in 100 years! The way they do business is absurd and they were very rude. I know we aren’t the only ones out money for an event that has no rescheduled date. This company took everyone’s money and ran and they have no logical reason why they won’t refund everyone.

    So I made the the mistake to buying from Vivid. I went to AT&T stadium site to buy Copa America tickets for upcoming USA vs. Bolivia game. I didn’t notice I was redirected to vivid. Anyway. Seats that are selling for $80 I bought for $97. Doesn’t seem like much right but with service charge and taxes it actually was double than that out SeatGeek. I bought 7 tickets for $1007. I ended up going back to buy 7 more through Seatgeek for $566. Never buying from this site. And writing this to help others avoid this site. Seatgeek and Ticketmaster way cheaper route. I’ll include pictures. Same section and everything for half the price. Unreal. Hopefully I can sell my tickets to recover the loss.

    I bought tickets for what Vivid Seats advertised on their website as in person Hans Zimmer concert. Their desktop site clearly states "lineup: Hans Zimmer" not "line up: The Best of Hans Zimmer tribute concert". At the seat selection page the 'info' pop-up implies four YES FOUR times that Hans will be performing in person. I scoured the website looking for any indication it was him and not a tribute orchestra. I found none. So I purchased a ticket. I then contacted customer service the same day to confirm. Spent over an HOUR on the phone. I sent them a screenshot of what I saw on the site. They insisted repeatedly that their site says it is a tribute orchestra. THIS IS A LIE. They would not refund my money. They would not even transfer me to a supervisor. Mind-blowingly Shady service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES.

    I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with Vivid Seats after a recent experience. Several months ago, I purchased tickets for a concert through their platform. However, shortly after my purchase, I received notification that the concert had been rescheduled for the next year. This was not only inconvenient but also surprising, as it was apparent that other ticket vendors were aware of the rescheduled date, while Vivid Seats seemingly failed to update their information accordingly.

    Despite being aware of the rescheduled date, Vivid Seats provided no option for a refund. Instead, I was advised to attempt to resell the tickets. However, when I tried to do so, I was informed that electronic tickets could not be resold at that time. This lack of consistency and transparency is deeply disappointing and reflects poorly on the integrity of Vivid Seats as a ticket vendor.

    It is unacceptable that Vivid Seats failed to update their information regarding the rescheduled concert date, especially when other ticket vendors had already done so. This oversight has not only inconvenienced me but has also resulted in financial loss, as I am now unable to attend the concert on the new date and unable to resell the tickets through Vivid Seats. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with Vivid Seats and has eroded my trust in their services. I urge the company to improve their communication and policies to better serve their customers in the future.

    I purchased a specific set of seats for a hockey game. These seats offer more legroom as my husband and I are tall. We love these seats. After my purchase went through my downloaded tickets were the row in front of where I purchased. When I called to complain I was told they upgraded our seats. These were NOT an upgrade but a downgrade. All I wanted was the seats I purchased or my money back. I got neither!     I purchased a parking ticket for an event. The parking post was listed as a spot at the venue and said it was within one mile and right after I received my pass I quickly realized it was for a lot further away.     I purchased tickets to Tina Fey and Amy Pohler in Portland 1/13/24. The evening show was cancelled 1 hour prior to showtime due to a few inches of snow on the ground. The afternoon show went on. The evening show was then rescheduled to 4/13/24 and Ticketmaster sent an email stating that people with tickets could choose not to keep their tickets and get a refund if the rescheduled date doesn't work. NOT VIVID SEATS. Their policy is that you need to resell your tickets. No refunds unless a show is cancelled. Even if you cannot make the rescheduled date. I will NEVER purchase tickets through them again.

    I purchased tickets for my husband and I to attend the Valentine's Super Love Jam Concert at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The artists listed in the line up were some of our favorite soul singers from our past. The tickets cost $330 to get nice seating. Today, the day of the event, when we looked at the parking online at the Alamodome, we noticed that the line up performing is not what was on the ticket purchase. When I tried to get a refund from Vivid Seat they refused stating that it was a legitimate purchase and advertised properly. This is theft.     I went online to search for IU tickets but looks like they are selling tickets that aren't even available yet. They should specify in details that they are selling a service for a seller to get tickets on my behalf and scalping them instead of making it seem like I was purchasing an actual available ticket. I don't even know how they are pricing them since NJ doesn't allow scalping tickets over 20 percent of the face value. Since the tickets aren't even available they can't be selling them legally without letting the buyer know that no actual tickets are available yet. I paid 715 for each ticket (2 tickets) thinking that those were actual face value tickets set by the artist. It was very misleading and bad business. I tried calling for a refund but they kept saying, they have event insider sellers that are selling tickets that they have but that was untrue and not even available on the artist's website.

    Terrible. The prices are low because they hide the fees until you have already entered your card information. The price jumped so much that I thought they were multiplying the cost by two, for the two tickets that I selected. I realized my mistake a minute too late when I ended up with a confirmed order for 1 ticket. I called them within minutes to see if I could get another seat beside the one I purchased or a refund and they had no mercy. Their business practices are cleverly deceitful. Now I have one very expensive ticket to see Noah Kahan and I do not want to go without my husband.

    I purchased tickets to Madonna over a year ago. (The concert was canceled once). I had prime tickets in the center section, Row 7. I paid over $5,000 for two tickets. Due to circumstances beyond my control I cannot go to the concert.     I purchased tickets from Vivid Seats for 3K and DID NOT receive what I purchased and they refused to help/fix the problem. I purchased a group of tickets for a specific section at a venue with all tickets together. When I received the tickets they were nowhere near the section I paid for and all of them were separated throughout the venue - no seats together. When you purchase tickets for over $700 a piece you expect to get what you paid for. I did not. I spoke with numerous CS people and 4 out of 5 of them hung up on me once I explained the situation and was put on hold - They knew they Really Screwed up and could not solve the problem so they just disconnected me. Everyone I spoke with provided horrible customer service and had excuse after excuse why they would not give me what I paid for. Watch out!!!! This company is a complete scam and you will loose $$$ and your tickets you purchased if you use them. Completely untrustworthy and just about all CS agents barely speak English.

    I purchased two tickets to the NFL Pro Bowl. The selling price was $183 each. I was not told what the fees were.     This company is a straight-up fraud. Ticket service fees are not disclosed prior to purchase. I’ve read other reviews of this happening and Vivid’s response is that fee are itemized and disclosed prior to purchase. The representative responding to these reviews is either straight up liar or ignorant to Vivid online purchasing process. Right before where you submit for purchase there is any mention of fees. And if you put your credit card 3 digit code in, you will be charges way more than the $112 per ticket!

    We ordered 3 front rows tickets for Joe Hisashi Seattle Symphony at $185 each plus service fees. We had ordered them 6 months ago and received no communication from Vivid Seats ever since. With such short notice we obviously can't get the ticket elsewhere so although unhappy we accepted the last row seats.

    Surprisingly, when they refunded us later in the day the $75 was the total amount instead of $75 for each ticket. The new tickets are worth $115 each so we ended up paying $480 for tickets worth $345, plus the full amount of service fee which is supposed to be a percentage of the ticket value. Not to mention the worse experience and the 6 months missing opportunity to get it elsewhere. When we tried to contact Vivid Seats to clarify the deal they simply said we had agreed with the exchange deal and they would offer no further assistance. Overall, it was the worst experience I have ever had with a service provider in a long time. I would suggest anyone reading this to avoid using Vivid Seats, there are many other services out there whom provide better services and lower fees.

    On December 1/23, I purchased 2 tickets to The Rolling Stones for July 5/24 at $185US each plus a $5.00 Delivery Fee, so a total of $375.00 US. My VISA was charged $522.44 US and a call to C/Service revealed they charged an additional "Service Fee" of $147.44 after my purchase. They will not reverse the Service Fee or cancel the entire order and told me to sell them privately on Craigslist as they do not issue refunds. I have not accepted the tickets that were transferred by email and will be disputing this fraud with VISA. It's not possible to speak to a rep in North America - only a Call Centre in the Philippines. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I'd read the reviews on this site before dealing with Vivid Seats.

    Do not buy tickets here. My money was essentially stolen out of my bank account. I went on there, selected my tickets, purchased them and my card was charged. However I had no receipt or confirmation email. When call Vivid to find out what happen they told me I had no history of any order, even though they charged my debit card.     Went to check out for my purchase of 5 rolling stone tickets at $184 each. The total was 1,300 and change. There were no itemization on each ticket as far as extra fees. My tickets 5 of them should be 1,000 where does the extra 3 hundred and change come from. They use the word transparency but there is none. I would like to know the break down?     Vivid said they sent the parking pass on 11/23/2023 at 11:29 AM. We located that email and it states to "sit back and relax" and the tickets would be coming from a 3rd party and they would like me know when the pass was ready. No such email came from any of the 3rd parties, never received the parking pass. Contacted them after Christmas and New Year and they said, "Well you didn't let us know in 48 hours;" (keep in mind 48 hours is Christmas day). They refused the refund, and discouraged me from contacting my bank or filing a complaint. Buyer beware.

    I ordered tickets for Nutcracker at MPAC NJ I ended up paying $30 more a ticket, I fault seller as they made it seem we will be sitting closer by giving an aisle range. We ended up at the literal back row.     Purchased 4 tickets for a Christmas Day NBA game. Received a link for "Action Required - Ticket Transfer". I clicked on it. Tickets marked as "Share Accepted", but no QR codes present. Spent >6 hours on the phone and chats with Vivid, and they could not obtain the tickets for me, ultimately blaming Ticketmaster, who was not involved. Refused to refund tickets, though I never received them and had to miss the game, losing >$700 in ticket value. Customer service could care less, said it was my fault for missing an email link. I literally followed the link they sent instantly and never received the tickets. Don't trust this company, they do not operate ethically.

    I will not use Vivid Seats for tickets again. I purchased tickets to a Devils' game and a parking spot ticket. When we arrived before the game my family and I were told the lot was full. I spent over $50 for a parking spot that was not available to me. I will NEVER recommend Vivid Seats to anyone especially after speaking to customer service and being told they would not provide a refund.     This site is a sham. Not sure how Consumer Affairs can call this company a "trustworthy online resource" when the overwhelming majority rating for this company is 1 out of 5 stars. I was looking at the pricing of tickets when, without warning or indication of purchasing, I received a message stating I had successfully purchased $1703.03 in tickets for a venue I do not want to attend.

    Customer support was anything but. They say this is a "visitor-driven site" and that they can't see what the customer sees. FIX THAT! They will not refund the tickets (I didn't want to purchase) because they are a reseller and not the original seller. The representative gave me options for reselling but said there is no option for refund. I now have to pay a service fee on top of what I was charged for a purchase I don't want in order to cover my losses. On top of that, I was charged $168.45 additionally for insurance (which I didn't want to purchase).

    Your website gives no indication that a purchase is about to happen. There is no warning. I selected seats to see what the cost would be. I tried to change the seats and then the site redirected me to a completely different website. I then received an email notification saying I had successfully purchased the tickets. I WAS SHOCKED! I am now stuck with something I don't want. VIVID SEATS, LLC is a SCAM. Run away and don't look back!

    I wish I had known about this in 2021 when I bought 2 tickets to Monster Jam in Cleveland because I spent decent money to get good tickets for me and my stepson and was told I'd get an email with my ticket and no email was sent and the customer service is non existent as I was on hold for at least an hour and the only person I talked to said they were "transferring me" but we know what that is code for.     I bought three 2 day passes to the WWE Smackdown/Survivor Series in Chicago IL 11/24/23 and 11/25/23. I received tickets to ONLY the 11/24 show and nothing for the 11/25/23 show. We traveled from out of town, stayed in a hotel, only to find out hours before the show that we did not actually have tickets for the 11/25 show. I called Vivid Seats and spent an hour on the phone with them to find out there was nothing they could do and the show was sold out. They advised they would investigate the matter and follow up with me in 3-5 days. I called them 6 days later to be told they are 'still investigating'. I am extremely disappointed in how this has been handled thus far.

    We are a family of 6 and bought 3 tickets for each day so that 3 of us could go one night and the other 3 could go the other night. My WWE obsessed son whose idea it was to even go to this was not able to attend the 11/25 show that he had been looking forward to for months. We wasted so much money traveling and on a hotel and on these tickets. We couldn't even buy new tickets for the show because it was sold out. To date, I have not received any kind of refund. I will never buy tickets through Vivid Seats again and will strongly discourage anyone from purchasing tickets through them. This was the most disappointing experience.

    I purchased 4 tickets for an employee who’s a single mom and her daughters age 12, and a couple of her friends. They were so excited to see “their first concert”. My only mistake was using Vivid Seats, I bought “confirmed” tickets and never got them. What’s worse is they wouldn’t let me get a refund when whatever shady street dealing seller they use didn’t give me my tickets. I had to wait to until the day of the show to get a refund which left me with no options to purchase tickets from a legitimate site that actually sells tickets.

    I got no tickets and not compensation. DO NOT USE THIS SITE TO BUY TICKETS, THEY HOST SHADY SELLERS WHO DONT DELIVER. Stub Hub or anywhere else is a better alternative if you actually want to see the event you pay for. Thanks for ruining a 12 year old's birthday Vivid Seats, you should be ashamed to call yourself a business. Their policies are geared towards making you miss events and they are only concerned with whatever sketchy characters they “Get tickets from” if they actually do get tickets.

    We purchase tickets for the Celtics game. We could not access the tickets so we called Vivid seats multiple times for two months prior to the event and the morning of the event. We were told to go to the event with a copy of the email and after a 3 hour trip we were told we could not get in. We called vivid seats and they said they would escalate it to their investigative team since we could not access the tickets. Surprise. They have now said after 5-7 business days that they can not offer a refund even though we could not use the tickets they were supposed to have provided.     My daughter searched (college age) for tickets on their site for Metallica at Gillette Stadium for 9/1/24. She was looking at the tickets for Gillette, selected the ones she wanted. After purchase they had somehow switched her to Lumen Stadium. She realized this within 1 minute of purchase when she got her email. Called customer service immediately and they refused to do anything! No refund or exchange for the tickets she wanted.     This company is one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever communicated with. I purchased two Travis Scott tickets for a steep price, and the event's date was rescheduled a week later. I understand that the policy does not count rescheduling as eligible for a refund (which is kind of whack), but they have not even allowed me to attempt to resell these tickets. I have spoken to multiple representatives on the issue and they said once I receive my tickets I can resell them. The issue is that the concert is in less than a week, and I have not received anything!     Second time they have stolen $800 of credits from my husband and me. We had tickets to a rodeo before covid, and the rodeo was canceled. So, we got an $800 Vivid credit. We requested a refund, they said it wasn’t possible. Here we are a few years later, we finally buy tickets to the sporting event to try to use the credit. We select to use the credits at check out, but it charges our credit card instead. We tried to cancel the order with vivid, but they swore up and down they cannot cancel orders. They told us to dispute the charge with our credit card company. We did, and our credit card company refused the refund. So we were out $800.

    Here we are trying to now use the $800 of credits that remain, and now they are mysteriously able to cancel orders when it comes to preventing us from using our credits to punish us for trying to challenge their transaction with our credit card company. They say they will not allow someone to use credits who dispute the charge. Our money? And they are holding it? They can’t cancel transactions, but they suddenly can when it comes to stealing money from people? They are crooks. Do not use them ever!

Had to buy tickets there at the concert. Vivid seats has terrible customer service. Tried to speak to a supervisor. Could only email them and still have heard nothing.     I purchased my tickets through Ticket Center/ Vivid Seats back in September for THE WIZ show at THE FOX on November 18th, I was informed I would receive my tickets via email. I got an email that my tickets will be transferred on 11/16 to me. On that date 11/16, I still didn't receive my tickets. Then I received another email stating that my tickets will be transferred to me on 11/18. This is the day of the show so I was beginning to get nervous. I had my family traveling from out of town so I thought this was to close but Ticket-Center/Vivid Seats reassured me that I will get my tickets on time no worries. The day of the show I called Ticker-Center/Vivid Seats 6:30am, 9:00am and they promised me that I would have my tickets by 11:00am.

    My family arrived from out of town and we are now traveling to the FOX Theater, still no tickets but I was talking to the representative on the phone and they were working with me trying to find out what's going on. I paid for my tickets and parking in September. Then Ticket-Center indicated that the Seller sold my tickets but he had 6 seats left in another section. He wanted to offer those seats to me. At this point, I had no choice. I told the representative I would take those seats she told me to hold on so she can tell the Seller then the phone hung up.

    I called right back now they indicated that the seats weren't available. I was livid because why would the seller sale tickets that were already purchased changed my seats then all of sudden there's no seats. SCAM to me. I paid good money for my parking and tickets so I didn't understand this. They kept hanging up on me 2-3 times..My family and I was unable to see the show because the Seller sold my tickets. Unacceptable...never again use Ticket-Center/Vivid Seats.

    We bought a couple tickets to “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” through Vivid Seats. I’m just genuinely very disappointed in the lack of information given about the event we purchased. Also, there was a MAJOR price difference at the door vs. through Vivid Seats. First off, there was nothing said about it being a ballet. Just a play. Not really our thing. Wouldn’t have purchased if I knew. Also, the show at the door only costed $25 a person. Vivid charged us $69 plus a service fee. Seriously!? Such a scam! I will NOT be using this company again.     Take note of all the negative reviews and bypass this company. After more than 5 hours on the phone between multiple calls and "senior" customer service reps, I was told that their system has a major flaw that somehow allowed me to "share" the tickets with my own email. And was told the day of the event that my tickets "are in limbo" and too bad. So sad the almost $700 I spent on the two tickets for my daughter's birthday somehow fall right through a crack in the "Buyer Guarantee" that's on the bottom of the confirmation on their app of "Valid tickets in time for event or your money back".

    If you've had a positive experience with this company, count your lucky stars and move on to another ticket party before your luck runs out like the rest of us in the ever-growing negative column. I started making calls in regards to the issue with these tickets weeks ago and was blown off, only to have it blow up and now ruin an event my daughter had been waiting on for two months. Having "senior" customer service reps read the same lines repeatedly and offer no solution to something their system allowed to happen is inexcusable and if they are going to fall of the excuse of it's the buyers error and you just get to eat the money with no accountability on their part, tells you all you need to know.

They even told me to call Ticket Master and lie and say I got tickets from a family member and need help getting them which is crazy because I placed the order through vivid seats not my family or ticket master. So after talking to multiple people without getting any help and had to buy more tickets last minute just so we wouldn’t miss the game.

    I call vivid seats again the next day to see if they can credit me for never receiving the tickets and now all of a sudden there is nothing that shows I talked to anyone from vivid the day of the game and they are not able to credit my tickets I never received. I can go on and on but be careful if you are using that vivid seats app. They make you pay extra to protect your purchase just to give push back when it something happens. Save your time and money.

    I bought tickets to see Drake and 21 Savage at the Bridgestone arena in June. The concert was postponed and rescheduled to October 5th. The October 5th concert was also postponed. It has been rescheduled for February 8th and 21 Savaged canceled, the concert is now Drake and Jay Cole. I am unable to make the February 8th show. Vivid Seats will not transfer my ticket to a different and will not refund despite one of the artists cancelled (21 Savage). I paid a $329.00 service fee in addition to the cost of my tickets. The customer service is terrible. It’s difficult to speak to anyone, when you finally get someone on the line there is a language barrier. It’s extremely difficult to sell the tickets, haven’t figured out how to do it yet. It’s unbelievable to me that this is allowable. I noticed in the fine print that customers in California are permitted refunds for postponed concerts. Unfortunately that doesn’t help me as I do not live in California. Disgusted.

    Tickets for 3 at Chase Center November 8, 2023 for the show QUEEN + Adam Lambert. My daughter purchased 3 tix for the said show on March 31, 2023 for more than a thousand dollars including tax, fees and everything. She got a confirmation number and the 3 tix the same day. It looks legit because of the Ticketmaster’s name, row, seat number and everything was in there. She saved it to her Apple wallet and believed that we have the tickets and all we have to do is wait for the concert and be excited about it. Now here come November 8, we are so excited for the show especially my 11year old son who knows every songs of Queen. When we arrived at the gate, we showed our tix in my daughter’s phone but they can’t scan it so they told us to go to the box office.

    Unfortunately they said that since it came from a 3rd party which is “VIVID SEATS” they can’t do anything about it. It shows in their system that the tix we got was refunded by the seller without notifying us!! It could be a disaster for us since we already expected to have fun and watch the show on the seats we picked. Luckily we were able to buy new tix but we watched it almost behind the stage, partial view. Better than not watching at all. VIVID SEATS!!! You better refund us the money we paid and hopefully not happen to anybody again.

    I have tried about 5 separate times to buy tickets through this vendor and every single time they charge me then refund me, and I end up having to go to another vendor to pay more since the tickets have all sold out.     I purchased tickets to a Raptors and 76ers game in early November. I was told the tickets are guaranteed and an hour before the game we had driven all the way to South Philly and still had not gotten the tickets. I immediately contacted customer service and they were not able to get us Seats in the same area and the only seats left were nosebleed seats. I canceled the order and we purchased really really crappy seats and the game was a total disaster. A week later we had still not received a credit for the debacle. Vivid Seats does not hold electronic tickets in a queue when the customer posts them. You are not guaranteed you’re going to get the tickets. Vivid Seats said they tried to contact the seller and he didn’t answer the phone. Go figure. I have never had a problem with all the other ticket resellers over all the years. This is the first and last time I will use Vivid Seats.

    I purchased 3 concert tickets on September 9, 2023 to Zach Bryan in Salt Lake City at the Delta Center scheduled for December 6, 2024. I purchased the tickets through Vivid Seats the day they went on sale and ultimately released by the venue. It has been two months and Vivid has not yet released and sent my tickets to me. They keep giving me the run around. They do not have tickets to deliver and have told me I cannot get a refund, but said I can sell the tickets, but cannot give me tickets to sell.

    After reading through many other reviews and looking into the tickets, it seems that the tickets I purchased are not owned by who I purchased them from which was Vivid or a seller through Vivid. The concert tickets have been released and should be deliverable and would have been since September 9th. This is some sort of a scam and even though Vivid "guarantees" delivery by the concert. I am not wanting to wait until the day of the show to find out I do not actually have tickets. I bought tickets for my son to go and we want to go to the show, not get a refund because we can't actually go to the show. This is a very shady way to do business and I cannot at all believe they can continue this way.

    I purchased tickets for Texas Longhorn Football Game on Nov 4, 2023. The page said "Ricoh Club, Row 43, Seat xx" . However, upon arriving to the stadium, the Stadium authorities informed us that the tickets we purchased were for entry to the Ricoh Club only, which was a room which offered food & drink (for additional purchase) and no seats. We ended up watching the game on some small TVs which I could have done at my home. Also, I had to pay $50 for parking. I also travelled from Houston to and from to get to the game.

    When I called Vivid, I spoke to a Senior Level Rep who said that Vivid would not refund my money ($120) because the print said it was club passes. Yet, it also listed row & seat Numbers; thus, they committed fraud. The rep who was on the phone with me admitted that it was Fraud and that it was wrong of them. On top of that, there were dozens of others, we were told at the Stadium, who also were in the same boat. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM VIVID SEATS. Frauds and liars. They don't care and the law allows them to operate. So, let's, as consumers, stand up for our rights.

    My school deactivated my email account. I then changed my Vivid Seats email account three months in advance of the event. When I used their AXS app to try to get my tickets, I was only able to send the tickets to my deactivated email, and so could not access my tickets. I called Customer Service about an hour before the event, and they were unable to get my tickets for the event - they just kept sending the tickets to my deactivated email, not the new one. I was unable to attend the event. I requested a refund, and customer service told me they could do this but only after the event was over. After the event I called them back and they denied the refund because I called on too late of notice before the event. This directly contradicts the 100% Buyer Guarantee on their website:

    "We know sometimes you purchase tickets at the last minute, in other cities, or perhaps as soon as the event is announced. In each case, delivering tickets requires skilled coordination and communication. That’s where we excel. We guarantee that your tickets will be delivered in time for the event or your money back. We always prefer to send tickets via secured courier UPS, but when circumstances don’t allow, we use special delivery services to handle any exceptions."

    So Vivid Seats has no controls in place for when a customer updates their email, and clearly cannot "handle any exceptions." When I pointed this out to the customer service rep, she stated that the resolution team made this decision and it is final. She refused to connect me with this resolution team, refused to elevate the call to her manager, and refused to connect me with a different customer service rep. I lost over $200 on this event and advise other consumers to source tickets elsewhere - my experience indicates this is a traditional "middle man" company that exists to collect a margin and cut corners when it comes to fairness for the consumer.

    I purchased tickets for the Legends of Hip Hop concert which occurred November 3rd. Called and advised that there were problems with the link. The rep sent me the same email again, assured me that as long as I could see a bar code and QR code I was okay. I Got to the concert and neither one worked. I was denied entry and directed to the box office. I was advised that these were scalper tickets and that the seats I was sold belonged to someone else. I paid for parking to only be turned back. I immediately called and the rep placed me on hold, made me repeat the story 3 times only to tell me I needed to complete a denial for within 3 business days. To date I have yet to receive that form for me to even complete. I paid for the insurance and all. I am calling and emailing daily without resoIve.

    I tried to be proactive and do the right thing. This was such an embarrassing moment. $192 and I'm fighting for my life to just get what's mine. I never received the service and I got scalped for real by a company that alleges to guarantee and stand behind their product. This is bad... really bad.     4. After no response, I follow up multiple times with Vivid...No response to any follow ups.

    CONCLUSION: Should you choose to use Vivid, be aware that this is the type of customer service you may receive. I had one good experience prior to this one with Vivid. However, this issue and complete lack of response will likely eliminate me ever using or requesting this company's services again.

    Original review: Purchased tickets to Queen concert in Baltimore as a surprise for my wife and daughter. Confirmed receipt of tickets for a Thursday night. My wife and daughter drove 1 hour to concert, parked, had dinner and got to the concert only to be turned away saying the tickets were for the prior night. When I reached out to Vivid, the customer service lady was very nice and told me where to e-mail my complaint along with documentation. I followed her direction to a tee. I never received a response from anybody. I have followed up on multiple occasions. End result: loss of $400; wasted evening and highly disappointing end to what was going to be a very exciting evening. I had recently used Vivid Seats to purchase NFL tickets where all had gone well so I had confidence in using them again. Because my experience was poor on multiple levels as listed above, I would not recommend anybody take a chance using this service.

    On August 21, 2023, I purchased 5 tickets to the Arkansas Razorback vs Western Carolina game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas September 2nd. I purchased these tickets online through Vivid Seats. Total cost was $454.10. I immediately received a confirmation email, saying tickets would be delivered on September 1. There was nothing I needed to do now, they would let me know when tickets were ready for transfer. By noon on September 1, I had not received the email to transfer the tickets to my phone nor did I know who the seller of the tickets was. I began a series of phone calls to Vivid Seats customer service and spent approximately 20 minutes on the phone explaining my problem and was given a couple websites to check. No luck.

    I gave them an alternate email address and asked if the ticket transfer email could be resent. They verified my alternative email address but l never received anything further. I called customer service again around 5:30 p.m. And spoke to another representative who had me repeat the previous steps with no luck. The representative said, "No worries. Tickets would be delivered in time for the game." I had a live chat with Vivid Seats around midnight with no resolution. On Saturday, September 2, we started the 2 hour drive to Little Rock and contacted Vivid Seats again. We stayed on the phone the entire trip and after almost 2 hours, a recording said the call was ending and asked us to leave a message.

    We were almost to the stadium and the game was starting so we didn't go. I'm not sure if the fault lies with Vivid Seats or the university or the Seller of the tickets. Vivid Seats has denied a refund. We have bought tickets for various events over the past several years and have never had an issue until this. I googled Vivid Seats Consumer Affairs reviews and read several negative reviews that sound very similar to my experience. All we wanted them to do was resend the ticket transfer email as they were our point of contact. I am very disappointed in their customer service and will not be doing business with them again.

    I ordered parking for game 3 of the World Series at a posted price of $91. Paid through PayPal. Vivid Seats at no time gave me the option to purchase the parking for a total of $121.26. They just charged my account and then I found out the "real" total. No chance to accept or cancel. When I called them they kept saying they were transparent. Baloney. As transparent as a blackboard.     I SPENT $1363.20 on April 14, 2023 to see Queen/Adam Lambert in Nashville Bridgestone Arena. We were REFUSED entry because the tickets were NOT valid when directed to the box office. Box office explained, that VIVID SEATS did not have the authorization to sell those tickets. As well, all around me were others in the same boat as me, denied entry after presenting what was believed, and ‘’guaranteed’’ legit tickets by Vivid Seats. To further this insult, my friend who was with me, was able to buy last minute tickets through Ticket Master. We then went to the seats in question, and SAW people in the seats I paid for. I explained my situation, and they let me see their seats tickets, and sure enough, they were legit, which meant they bought them, meaning the seats were DOUBLE SOLD.     Vivid Seats is the biggest scam. I advise no one to buy anything from them. My parents bought 2 tickets to game 2 World Series, worth 4K and when they got there vivid said they couldn’t get the seller to send tickets. No refund. No help after being on the phone with them for over an hour. Hope this company goes bankrupt and loses everything so they can’t take from the people no more!!! SCAMMMM.

    Purchases Adam Lambert + Queen tickets a couple months ago. Received tickets electronically on the app. The day before event, opened app, barcodes disappeared. Seat section, row and number there but no barcode. First Lady I spoke to said nothing can be done. Can’t resend tickets. Asked to speak to quality or grievance dept. she told me there is no one else to transfer me to. Called back spoke to another lady. She said let me escalate to VIP rep. So I guess there is someone to transfer me to. So VIP person said nothing can be done and she doesn’t know why the barcodes disappeared.

    Called 3rd time, the man told me to call the venue and see if my name or email is associated w/ tickets and they can send me the tickets. So I called venue and the lady said Vivid Seats is scamming people for this concert bc there were no transferable tickets for this event and my name nor email was assigned to those seats. So unless you want to chance losing $800, do not use Vivid Seats. I never got my tickets.

    I purchased two tickets to see the new show Postcards from Earth on my phone, costing me $266, I logged out as a guest. The day of the show I was denied entry because all they did was send me a QR code. I was told later that the tickets were sent to an email address associated with my phone number and I have not used in over am TWO years. I was never informed to check email status, nothing. And they had the audacity to blame me for not being psychic and downloading their app. They are refusing to pay me back. This is by far the most unscrupulous, morally and fraudulently I've ever encountered. Do not buy tickets through this low life end party company.

    Don't use this service. It's very unreliable. We spent $30 on two tickets and were so excited to go to a football game. The first set of tickets never came. I talked with their chat service, they tried to get a retransfer, it didn't come until after the game started. We missed the game. I tried to ask for a refund since it "Guarantees" a refund if it's not there on time. They said it was sent at 6:07 but it got to my email at 7:07. They would not give me a refund stating that the seller sent the ticket (even though I didn't get it, it didn't matter). Very immoral. Not only that, I was very upset and still am. I found this on ESPN too thinking it was legit. Just spend a little more and get it straight from the main source to get tickets. Save yourself a load of mental and financial anguish.

    Purchased resale tickets in August. I reach out in September, asking where the tickets are and I am told "they are coming." It says on my order that the latest I would get them would be the day before the concert. They never came through. Here it is the morning of the concert in October and still - no tickets have been transferred. The concert is more than 2 hours away from me, so I call to cancel since I have yet to receive anything and I don't want to leave town without tickets. They keep telling me on their live chat for about an hour and a half "we are contacting the seller...they are sending soon." How long was I supposed to wait? Soon isn't an answer. It is the day of the concert, and I was pretty stressed.

    I ask for a refund, and they keep passing me around to different people. Finally, about 3 hours before I would have to leave town, I get the tickets. I still wanted to cancel and get a refund, as this was so last minute and customer service was of no help. They tell me I have to call in if I want to cancel. I call, then I am put on hold for about 40 more minutes as they continue to talk to supervisors. Finally, I am told nope; too bad! - can't cancel. My only option was to try to sell the tickets on my own. If I didn't reach out in the first place this morning, I never would've received the tickets I guess. The run around was ridiculous, and I will never buy from them again. Why would I buy tickets in August only to get them the day of - absurd.

    I don’t usually use Vivid, and admittedly didn’t fully understand their process. The tickets were not in my AXS account and they claimed the seller transferred them. I didn’t think anything of it but there were no tickets in my account. I missed most of the show while they had to call the seller and “re transfer” them. There is no action required to receive tickets on AXS. There is also not a way to pull back a ticket and allegedly “re transfer.” The seller was attempting to scam me. AXS has zero record that any tickets were attempted or were transferred on the date Vivid is claiming. AXS could see that I received them last night. I went through 4 different customer service reps and missed most of the show.

    They are refusing any responsibility and I’m awaiting actual proof that this seller actually transferred when they said. This company doesn’t have a verification process of transfer and has awful customer service. Buyer beware.

    I bought a Vivid Seat ticket thru Groupon. The paranormal event was cancelled since they were busted for not having a city permit. My vividseat ticket was in another guy's name when I asked for a refund at the event. Groupon won’t help. My credit card won’t help. And vividseat chat won’t accept my ticket number to chat. I will never buy from vividseat or Groupon again. I can’t resell my $65 ticket since I don’t own a car. I took a bus to this Oct 2 event. It’s terrible how they steal and lost my business over $60.     I bought a parking pass to the September 29th Pink concert in Arlington the day before the event through VividSeats. It was an e-ticket parking pass that was transferred to me via the MLB app. Very safe. Even though I bought an e-ticket through VividSeats, I just found out that they don't allow buyers to re-sell an e-ticket. BUYERS BEWARE! THEY WILL SELL AN E-TICKET but THEY WON'T LET YOU RE-SELL IT! Pink cancelled the event the day after I bought the parking pass. I tried calling Vividseats that day to try to get my order cancelled. It was even still on pending charges on my credit card. They refused to help..... "POLICY". All sales are final, which isn't listed on the website unless you click through and read their 20 page customer agreement disclosures documents. Usually they are fair, so I don't bother. Who does? Well, they are not fare! BUYER BEWARE!

    My wife had purchased 3 tickets to the 9/3/23 Metallica concert. The concert was at State Farm stadium in Phoenix. My wife and I had traveled from Idaho to watch this concert. Please keep in mind, was my wife's 50th birthday present, my 55th birthday present, and our 25th wedding anniversary present to each other. We love Metallica and, with 5 Fiber Death Punch planning for them, it was a perfect gift for us. With less than 24 hours before the concert were to begin, we received notification that the concert has been postponed until the following weekend, 9/9/23. We couldn't afford to return the following weekend because of the amount of money we spent already.     We attempted to sell the tickets but with so many people in the same situation, tickets were going for pennies on the dollar. I was offered led than $150 for tickets I paid almost $900 for. What did Vivid Seats say about it? Tough crap, your loss!!!! Nothing, absolutely nothing from them. They stole $900 from me while Seat Geek was giving refunds. Why? Because I didn't buy the insurance. Please, do your homework before buying tickets from Vivid Seats. There are much better options than Vivid Seats. For me.... never again. And, as for Metallica.... never again. I will never go to another Metallica concert again. They may not show and I'll lose my money again.

    UPDATED 10/18/2023: The issue is still not resolved. As previously stated I am skeptical about the validity of the tickets and was told etickets could be sold by an agent with your company and per online website it cannot be sold.     ORIGINAL REVIEW: Purchased two tickets to the Phoenix Suns game on November 10 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Tickets were purchased from a reseller. Contacted Customer Service advising tickets had not been sent and was assured I would receive them on time. Since then I have received the tickets from what appears to be an illegitimate website with no logo, no way of putting the supposed tickets in Apple wallet and just seems very sketchy. The tickets do not look legit and I have paid over $500 for flights to get to Phoenix and unsure if the tickets are in fact real.

    When asked to receive a refund they do not provide one. Dealing with this company has been a total nightmare especially when you have no way of verifying the validity of the ticket from reseller. Vivid Seats does not have a good system in place for their customers to who are making these purchases only seem to care about the sellers since they are making money off the fees they charge to sell on their website. Will not use their service again.

    They let me pay a $1,727 USD for 3 tickets to the U2 concert at the Sphere with a terrible view of the visual show that was supposed to be part of the experience. The worst thing is that we flew from Canada to Vegas just to see the Sphere and U2 on my birthday weekend, my son wasn’t really into U2-he’s 13 but was so looking forward to the visual show. It was a huge disappointment for all of us! And BTW, people stood up most of the time during the concert and we see nothing but people’s back, no view of the stage nor anything being shown on the massive screen! We left the Sphere having no idea how amazing the full stage is - we had no chance to see it despite paying $1,727 USD!!!!

    Another thing that irritates me is that Vivid Seats wouldn’t let me sign in their website and app, I reported the issue to their customer support and they just ignored it. Their initial response to me didn’t even make sense - I mentioned the CAD amount in my email and they said my issue had to be brought up to my bank, not them. Save yourselves from grief and frustration, DON’T BUY TICKETS HERE!

    I had a mate here for the UK that want to see a Michigan game in the big house.. I order ticket to go to the U of M and Indiana football game, paid well over $500 ticket and insurance never got to use tickets. I spent 2 hour on the phone trying to get tickets delivered just before the game. When I had purchased the ticket well over a month ago. And was told they would be delivered night before the game. We'll nothing at 11am when the game started at 12 and we want to go in early so he could take it all in..I took upon myself to buy some nosebleed seat so we could get in and see the game..but after the game I checked my phone and had a email at 11:45 saying they had my ticket.

    So I called and told them I didn't get my tickets in time and they proceeded to argue with me and tell me I got the email at 11:45am. Well the game started 12. And I told them why did I pay all that money to guarantee me my seat and I didn't use it why shouldn't I be refunded. Will never use this site again and will tell everyone to not use this site..as nothing has been resolved yet.

    Horrible experience. Never using them again. First time I have taken my mom out in 10 years to see her favorite band juan luis guerra. My poor mom has cancer and I couldn't use the tickets. They don't give you the tickets until the day of and when they do, they didn't even work. I had the lady at the venue offer to replace my tickets for another event if I could show her my tickets.     I bought two tickets for a concert in Las Vegas with Vivid Seats. I paid for them. I was charged. I received a link to get my tickets. As soon as I clicked on the TicketMaster link sent there was an error message. I called them several times. I chatted several times... they tried every way but still no tickets. They even gave me my ticket number, my section, my rank... They told me the problem was TicketMaster (even though I bought with them). I called TM several times and each time they told me I didn't exist for them. No seats affiliated with my name or address.

    I called Vivid again... and as far as they were concerned, they had done the job because they had proof (I don't know which) that the seller had sent the tickets to my address. They told me to go and see at the Sphere (venue of the event)... I waited 2 hours and they saw that the tickets I mentioned (number, section..) were NOT assigned to my email address but to another! I called Vivid again a few hours before the concert... After an hour the lady hung up... In short, a big to-do! AVOID AND they tell me NO refund because the event is taking place and they sent...! RUN AWAY!!

I have spoken to the customer service department several times today and they’re giving me the runaround. I basically have reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge. I will never use this company again. It has been the biggest headache a nightmare of my life.

    I purchased a concert ticket and have had a critical family emergency. I contacted customer support to see if I could get a refund. The BOT said it had to verify my information in order to speak with me. It asked my person identifying questions and when I replied, it stated that I had just accepted my ticket. The BOT did NOT say that is what I was doing! So, next, they tell me I cannot get a refund because I already accepted my ticket. They told me that I could re-sell it so I tried that only to find out they actually have re-sale BLOCKED. So, next they told me I could sell my ticket privately and transfer it. So, I tried that only to find out that they are holding my ticket and will not deliver it to my email until three days before the concert. I can't privately sell and transfer a ticket I don't have.

    They make it seem like there are options to get your money back but the truth is they block all of those methods. I can't even believe I got taken advantage of like this. They basically have just robbed me of my money and there is nothing I can do. Don't use this company!!! Also don't use Ticketmaster because they are linked together and operate as one. Good luck finding a reputable place to buy a ticket but trust me, this isn't it.

    Purchased two tix to a show for Friday, Oct 13th, 2023. Got them digitally transferred from the seller who listed them on Vivid Seats, and confirmed my ownership of the tix through Ticketmaster's app. Venue made changes to seating, and Ticketmaster, for some unknown reason, returned the tix to the original purchaser. Trying to reach TM is useless. They can't help me because they don't think I exist or know I exist. Vivid Seats is my only means of contacting the person I bought the tix from. And every email I've sent to VS returns the same reply: "We are working on it. We hope we've alleviated your concerns. Please have a good day," etc, etc, etc. It's a scam. A complete scam. Never use this company.

    Tickets purchased for a concert 2 days before event, and listed at "Special Delivery" indicating they will be available at will call; called to confirm this was accurate, and was assured that was so. 6 hours later, email received stating seller has decided instead to send to my BILLING address...900 miles from my shipping address (college student). Desperate calls to Vivid Seats and they offered no help outside of contacting UPS to reroute. Vividseats themselves however would not get involved in reroute. So reroute attempted at the cost of $79 but no info provided regarding arrival. Many calls to Vivid for support, none offered.

    20 hours before show, and tickets are still 3 states away, and Vivid says they will replace if not available by 7am. Joke's on me because they aren't open that early, but eventually they open. Vivid confirms my tickets are near my location and available for pick-up...only no UPS customer service is open because it's SATURDAY!! Again, Vivid offers no support (and you can't reach a live person at UPS, also terrible customer care) and after several more calls, I am told tickets will be replaced electronically. Then 2 minutes later, I am told instead to proceed to Will Call (venue is 3 hours away, and I will already miss early acts).

    As it stands, I am on my way because they also told me no refund is possible, I am out an extra $79 for their mistake and I suspect I am travelling to have no tickets in the end but they wanted me off the phone. I am going so as to preserve any chance of refund but unlike StubHub-which has refunded my sister when her tickets became "unavailable" last minute (not sure how that happens)-the 100% guarantee here is nothing more than a fancy byline.

    I had to sell NFL football tickets I had purchased through Vivid Seats. I relisted the tickets on the Vivid Seats website and even received an email confirming the tickets were listed for sale. When I went to set up an account to receive payment, no Canadian provinces were listed. When I called, I was informed Vivid Seats does not allow for resale to Canadian customers. I had to list the tickets for sale with StubHub and had no trouble setting up the account and selling the tickets. For Canadians, save yourself the hassle and just list with StubHub.

    I feel compelled to express, in the strongest possible terms, that my recent experience with Vivid Seats has been nothing short of a nightmare. It is with profound disappointment that I recount the events that unfolded during what was supposed to be a trip filled with "firsts." This journey from Houston to Denver, Colorado, was meant to be a trip of "firsts" for my husband and me: our first time in Denver, our first college game with the team he is an ardent fan of, and, regrettably, my first time using Vivid Seats. I can unequivocally say that this will be the last time I ever use them again.

    The ordeal began with being sold parking passes for the event that indicated that we would be less than a 10-minute walk from the event…HOWEVER, when the tickets were delivered, the actual garage address was a 45-minute walk away from the event! My husband is disabled so this would have never worked. When I called to explain that they falsely advertised the parking with an address different than the real address, the customer service agent told me "Sorry, there is nothing we can do for you"...UNBELIEVABLE! I had to scour the internet and find email addresses so I could send an email to the CEO, VP and Legal to get someone to call me the next day to issue me a refund. However, by the time I got the refund, other options for parking that I passed on with TicketMaster and StubHub were GONE. Thanks a ton VIVID!

    At that point, I was very nervous about the validity of the actual event tickets that I also purchased with Vivid, but the person that called me about the parking situation (named Hannah) assured me that the event tickets would be okay, she stated that the seller was super reliable and that I would get them no later than September 29th (one day before the game). Now why would anyone wait until the day before the game to deliver the tickets was beyond me, but I made the mistake of trusting Hannah with Vivid Seats. So, we wake up to go to the airport on September 29th, which was over a week and a half after the parking pass debacle, and I do not see the tickets as delivered in the app.

    I call customer service and they again assured me I would get the tickets before the close of business that day which was midnight. SO the entire trip to Colorado, my stomach was in knots and I was glued to my email awaiting the delivery of the tickets for the game which was the next morning at 10:00 am. GUESS WHAT? NO TICKETS WERE DELIVERED!!

    Now I am sick to my stomach and looking at the disappointment in my husband’s face was heartbreaking. Furthermore, I did not get any sleep that night as I awaited 8:00 am on September 30th, the day of the game, so I could call Vivid Seats. With lost sleep, an overall lack of enjoyment during our first day in Denver, the horrible anticipation possible not attending the game that we spend tons of money to fly to Colorado for, topped with the mounting frustration of not having received our tickets, this ordeal cast a shadow over what should have been a thrilling experience.

    Finally, the morning of the game I called customer service at 8:00 am and spoke with Monque. Now mind you, Hannah promised me that she would be monitoring this situation and would make sure that everything was taken care of, so I asked Monque to please get Hannah on the phone so she could take care of the matter. Guess what I was told? “Unfortunately, Hannah will not be in until later today!” I almost passed out; the physical stress my body went through from the time I had the parking pass issue until this moment was enough to take me all the way out.

    The only good thing in this entire crap show as the fact the Monque put me on hold, looked for some tickets and was able to issue replacements, BUT the seats were not as good as the seats I originally purchased. The problem is when you are on the phone less than an hour before the gates open, you are desperate and will take anything just to get into the event. So sad that a company would do this to someone who chose to be a paying customer of theirs and support their business. I am a believer that when you do people wrong, it will come back to you.

    Throughout this ordeal, I spent more time on the phone with Vivid Seats than I did at the actual game. Your staff made a series of empty promises that further exacerbated the situation. I was promised that I would have the tickets before September 29th, but that promise was broken. I was promised that someone would be personally monitoring my situation and would contact me if the tickets were not delivered, yet that pledge went unfulfilled. When I called on that fateful Saturday morning, I was informed that the person responsible for monitoring my situation would not be available until later in the day.

    While I must acknowledge Monque for helping me secure replacement tickets for the game, these seats were not of the same quality as the ones I had originally purchased due to the unfavorable angle. It's a meager consolation when considering the sleepless nights and the immense stress your company has caused.

    I not only vow never to use Vivid Seats again but also to ensure that I share my harrowing experience with all my friends, family, and anyone else I encounter. I will actively discourage anyone from placing their trust in Vivid Seats when purchasing tickets for special events. Furthermore, I am committed to sharing my experience with the Better Business Bureau, and I will take to social media to detail this ordeal.

    This entire episode has been nothing short of awful. I will make it my mission to inform everyone I can about the time I planned a dream trip for my husband to see Deion Sanders, with Vivid Seats as the central character in this cautionary tale. PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TRUST VIVID SEATS WITH YOUR MOST IMPORTANT EVENTS. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED AT ALL!!!

    Updated on 10/18/2023: Because Vivid Seats said I never replied, I wanted to make sure to comment. The tickets I ordered never were delivered after waiting several months leading up to the event, as the seller no longer had them. I did receive a refund a few hours before the event was scheduled to begin, but it took way too much back-and-forth for Vivid Seats to get to that conclusion, including them pushing back expected delivery date. I would again emphasize to never use Vivid Seats if you are going to need to travel for an event.

    Original: Do not trust Vivid Seats. Both of my last two orders have been horrible experiences. Previously, I purchased tickets to a City SC soccer game in St. Louis. I was delivered tickets to a game in Minnesota against Colorado instead and it took an incredible amount of back and forth to get it correct. The current issue: I purchased tickets on 6/7/23 to a Chicago Fire game on 10/4/23. This event was one that required travel, and it was a little frustrating that the tickets were scheduled to be delivered on 10/3/23, but that is not the problem.

    10/3/23 came and went and the tickets were still not received so I contacted Vivid support that afternoon. They said they contacted the seller to remind them to send the tickets and that they would still be delivered on 10/3. Still nothing, so I contacted Vivid to cancel the order at 10 a.m. on the 4th because I was not going to make the 6 hour trip to Chicago without tickets. They would not cancel the order and were not at all understanding of the issue. Beware that the delivery dates listed are meaningless and definitely do not plan a trip to an event relying on Vivid for tickets.

    Purchased tickets for my daughter’s 16th birthday to a Hozier concert. The tickets were purchased in May for an October 3 concert in Raleigh, NC. I paid $371 for 2 $129 tickets. I never received the ticket transfer but they were certain to take my money. I have called and used the Chat function 4 times and was actually told it is their policy for managers and supervisors not to handle customer orders. Seriously? What kind of business does not turn complaints to management? I was told today (the day of the concert) that the seller is on the West Coast and is not yet open. They will open at 12 noon my time. That leaves me less than 5 hours to be sure it is worth driving my daughter 2 hours north to a concert she may or may not be able to attend. Not to mention the time away from work to make all of these unproductive phone calls. I am beyond angry at this point and if I hear one more time that they will look into it, I may explode.

    I bought early parking for 100$. They sold me a general admittance tailgating ticket that was readily available for 30 on Ticketmaster. They change the name of the ticket to seem different. Don't be fooled. Go to Ticketmaster and buy whatever they sell because Vivid Seats IS GOING TO SCAM YOU AND NO REFUNDS FOR US STUPID PEOPLE. Buy any parking at all. Don't buy from vivid seats.

    I bought 4 seats to a concert in Detroit. The artists cancelled the Tour and Vivid refused to refund me, refused to provide a copy of the terms & conditions and charged a 35% markup on the seller's price. I was on the phone with their customer service for 1 hour and just got a run around. I asked to escalate the call and was told their supervisors do not take calls. This is what happens when you buy tickets through a fly by night company and fully explains why they have a 1.3 out of 5 rating on ConsumerAffairs.

    I purchased a parking pass for Little Caesars Arena Garage for the Peter Gabriel concert on 9/29/23. The day prior to the concert I received a parking pass for Trinity Health Garage instead. When I called Vivid Seats customer service on 9/28/23 about the incorrect parking pass they said they would look into it and get back with me. I didn't hear back and called the next day and was told by Vivid Seats customer service that the parking pass was correct and they would do nothing. I pointed out that I paid to park at Little Caesars and not the Trinity Garage. Trinity parking was advertised at $45 and I had paid $93.34 to Vivid Seats to park at Little Caesars. I will never use Vivid Seats again and will let others know of this experience.

    Me and my friends are huge plans of coldplay. We are here stateside only temporarily, and despite not having a lot to do in a far away country, we were REALLY looking forward to this concert and even booked the tickets way back in Feb this year. That’s how excited we were. But we never got the tickets. I trusted Vivid Seats’ promise that they WILL deliver, but it’s the day of the event at 11.30AM pacific time and still NO TICKETS! I was going to be out of town Saturday and so had to book flights to pasadena for me and my friends for sunday. I’ve reached out to customer care all through the week and they give the same ** that tickets were already transferred but they can RETRANSFER. Never worked!

    Now it’s the day of and I’m losing it so I canceled the flight, called vivid seats and yelled at the poor guy to give my money back (never done that before). Apparently they want me to wait till 2 hours before event to get tickets, if I don’t (which is a distinct possibility at this point), I’ll get my money back. So are you saying I’ve to drag myself all the way to the event venue, no matter where I’m at or what I’m doing with my life, and TRUST you with getting me tickets? Hell, I don’t trust myself that much! I think the issue is these guys buy from shady sellers who want to make the last absolute buck till last minute and they definitely forget people (fans) like me who are too eager and book 10 months prior! NEVER AGAIN!!

    Buyers BEWARE of Vividseats.com! This company is a total scam and after investigating and reading reviews they are a 1.4 star company with a 45% rating of a 1. We went to a concert three hours away a couple weeks ago, they make you add an app on your phone by AXS and is the only way you can enter concert is by showing tickets on app. They tell you that they may not appear until 24 hours before the concert. Well ours never showed up and after being on hold several hours before the concert we were told they were still trying to contact the seller.

    Well two weeks later they say there is nothing they can do and they refuse to issue a refund saying that the seller showed proof of transfer. The tickets never appeared in the app and are still not there so this was a total scam! We will be filing a chargeback on our credit card and will fight this until the end. Do yourself a huge favor and never purchase anything thru this company or anyone that uses an AXS App!! The employee just laughed on the phone and said good luck and would not forward me to a supervisor, what a joke!

    I tried creating an account through them to view the final ticket price of something (They add insane fees per ticket, but do not post them anywhere.). Entered my information, they said, "You need to add credit card information to complete the process." I thought it was required for creating the account. Entered information and clicked enter. They said, "Thanks for the purchase!" I never saw a final price before agreeing to buy the tickets. I immediately called them to cancel and they said, "Sorry. All purchases are final." Literally would not do anything. So I'm out 164 dollars to something I can't likely even attend. It is ridiculous how scammy they are. Even talking with them on the phone they literally told me it's my fault and laughed. Actually used the words, "This is your fault." It was theirs and even it was my mistake somewhere I immediately tried to fix it. I was on the phone with them within seconds. Refused to do anything.

    I received any unauthorized purchase on my account coming from this website. I notified them about and the customer service told me I will not be getting a refund and closed it quickly. They did not ask for any evidence, the person was rude too, assumed I was a criminal or something. I noticed the event wasn't even taking place yet either. I filed a dispute with PayPal as well. This company is aiding and abetting fraud by allowing people to make purchases on behalf of other people and refuses to issues refunds based on it.

    There were barricades in front of my parking lot and I was not able to get to the lot I purchased for a football game in Atlanta Georgia. I had to purchase another ticket for another parking lot the day of the event. I explained the situation to Vivid Seats the day after the event and their response was "You must have got there too late". Well in fact I was there 1 1/2 hours prior to the event so they were WRONG. As a first-time user of Vivid Seats, I am now a LAST time user of Vivid Seat. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - USE ANYONE EXCEPT VIVID SEATS or watch the event on TV.     I spent over $2,000 on concert tickets for a Las Vegas show. I called VIVID several times prior to the event because I wasn't convinced the tickets were properly transferred to me. I was assured several times that "everything is OK". When I arrived at the concert I was told my tickets were "invalid". The box office management told me that my tickets were "owned" by someone else. I spent an hour on the phone with VIVID trying to resolve the situation. They ended the conversation by telling me they were transferring me to discuss refunding my money. I would NEVER use this site again for any tickets. Very bad experience.

    I was looking for Jellyroll concert tickets for an upcoming visit out of state to see my best friend. She has only been to 1 concert in her 40 yrs of life. I was so excited to take her to see one of our favorites. I saved up my money and found the Vivid Seat's site. Put 2 seats in the search criteria for the concert. Decided to purchase the 2 seats in the best section I could afford. After payment was taken, it listed two separate rows! Surely there is a mistake/error. So, I immediately reached out on their chat to see what happened. Ya know, thinking they cared about a customer's trusted purchase on their site. Sure enough, they were for two separate rows. The rep said they were called piggyback seats. What's that?... it's seats in front and back of each other.

    I have been to hundreds of concerts through several different booking platforms and have NEVER heard of such a ridiculous thing. I mean, who spends their hard earned money to go to the show with someone and wants a piggyback seat?! So I clarified to the rep, "that's NOT what I was wanting. Can you please switch them to side by side?" NOPE! You see, their buyer's guarantee isn't what you would think. They don't care about your purchase or happiness. They have your money and that's where it ends. Surely this can't be how Vivid seats does business?!?! I thought maybe I had a bad representative and decided to call and have an audible conversation. Well, that was even more infuriating! All I wanted was to have my 2 seats side by side and they refused to make it right. The only thing they offered was to resell my seats in the hope I would get my money back.

    Look, like most people, I'm not made of money and cannot repurchase seats to the concert. Then, they want me to wait and hope they can sucker another innocent person into buying 2 seats that aren't even together! Insane! So now, in the meantime, I have read all the hundreds of reviews where people literally are in parking lots at the event waiting for their seats... some never come and some, the venue will not even honor. These people's experiences with the customer service definitely validate the terrible customer service I experienced. So now, after spending money for the flights across country for the sole purpose of attending a concert with my bestie that won't even be side by side... I am absolutely terrified of how this company will, as promised, ensure delivery for my tickets in time for the concert. Will they arrive? Will the concert venue see them as valid tickets?

    God forbid I find myself in any predicament in regard to getting in the door... it 100% appears they will give me the run around and use every excuse to not assist and only double down on keeping my money. That is what I'm seeing repeatedly in these reviews. This concert was supposed to be the highlight of my trip... and Vivid seats has absolutely ruined what would be something so wonderful. I truly hope this doesn't go the way a majority have had to deal with.

    My trust in this company has completely dissolved, I can only hope that my friend and I can actually get in the door of the concert to get to our terrible piggybacked seats here in the next week. Unfortunately this was a giant lesson learned for this avid concert attendee. I WILL NEVER EVER USE VIVID SEATS AGAIN. Buyer be aware... just look at all the terrible reviews. Spend your hard earned money with a company that actually cares about their customers. Seriously, RUN from Vivid!

    My first time using Vivid Seats and never again! On the ticket it said general admission ROW 1, it was verified so okay great trust it, pay literally triple what the tickets actually were cause I wanted ROW 1 like it described and got there to only realize there was no ROW 1 & ended up at the very back of the venue. Call to inform them, "Hey this was nothing like you described when I bought them" and they then informed, "That’s on the venue, we didn’t have nothing to do with the seating arrangements!" "Excuse me but your verified ticket listing literally said ROW 1!?" Drove 3 1/2 hours to this concert, made the best of but never ever again will they ever get another penny from me.

We understand your point of view, but GA tickets are always on a first-come, first-served basis. Row numbers on GA tickets are merely for inventory purposes and don't guarantee a specific seat assignment.     If you have any sense, you will not use Vivid Seats. My wife purchased tickets through Vivid Seats months in advance of our concert. It is the day before the concert and we still have not received our tickets. We have spent the last week working through their text program and on the phone with various reps, and still they cannot get it worked out. Even if you think you'll save money with Vivid Seats, don't buy with them. Just pay a bit more for less of a headache. (Even if you ask for a refund, they will tell you that they're still having to investigate the situation.) We will never use Vivid Seats again.

    Updated on 10/03/2023: I gave a review recently regarding the wrong seats being delivered, I received a response and since then I have tried multiple times to respond to the response but it never works. I emailed them to let them know that it was not working and I have heard nothing!

    Original Review: I purchased tickets in a specific section and row but when I received the tickets it was for a section on the opposing team's side. After fighting them for 2 weeks I was informed that the purchase valid, they will switch the tickets or give a refund. Keep in mind the tickets for both seats are the exact same price. So I either sit with the opposing team or just eat the money.

    I was rushing to get tickets to a concert and ending up paying more than DOUBLE the list price (weeks later there are still some available, so it's not sold out), and I had to transfer the tickets but couldn't without them just sending me the email tickets. They changed the dates of transfer (how hard is it to send an email?), and the "live" chat was worthless. At least I'll never, ever use them again, and if you're smart, you won't, either.

    Do not buy from this company! After 36 hours begging for my tickets to be transferred to me I was left an hour away from home at a venue I paid $40 cash to park at without tickets! And you know the best part? They actually told me there is no guarantee of a refund!!!! They have to investigate! Investigate? What's there to investigate?! You didn't deliver tickets I bought *6 months in advance* and then had about 15 different chat/phone reps lie to me for 2 days that there was no problem and my tickets would be delivered! Then you have the balls to mark my order as delivered like you did nothing! If you buy from this company you will lose your money!!! Vivid Seats is full of lying thieves!!!!

    I purchased 2 tickets from Vivid Seats for an event. They were the only seller at the time. I paid $842 US each. They claim to only take a 10% commission fee - which is totally acceptable. However the value of the tickets I purchased was $105 - that's a service charge of $737 which is WAY more than 10%. I talked to customer service and they were unwilling to refund or upgrade my seats - their excuse was that the information was detailed in the Terms & Conditions at the time of purchase. They were the only seller at the time and I trusted them to be fair. They are far from it. My recommendation is to stay away from Vivid Seats.

    Big scam. Vivid seats through Ticketmaster over charge customers. Also beware, they don't tell you that they only send tickets digitally to your cell phone. Once I arrived at the venue, I was unable to get adequate cellular internet service and was sent to stand in a long line before tickets were issued. Once we had our tickets the bar codes couldn't be scanned...Nightmare!

    Bought tickets. They have not been sent. Event is tomorrow noon. They tell me I will get tickets before kickoff. So I am expected to drive two hours to the stadium and hope I get the tickets on time. I did not want to do that given that Vivid has a reputation for not delivering. So I asked for a refund. No dice. Customer service is worthless and you cannot talk to a supervisor. It is clear that these guys sell tickets that they do not actually have and do not care whether they can actually provide them or not. Tickets were supposed to arrive yesterday. Still no tickets. Maybe it's supposed to work this way. But people should understand what they are dealing with before buying anything from Vivid. This is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with.

    I purchased tickets to a comedy show on 6/14/23 and was never sent the tickets by the seller. I contacted their customer service on 8/22/23 to see about canceling the order b/c I can no longer attend the show. I was denied a cancellation and was told to resell the tickets. I contacted customer support again on 9/6/23 asking for a refund. They said the venue was still making up the tickets. I called the venue and they told me that the tickets were made by Ticket Master & I should have had a transfer from the seller right after my purchase.

    I emailed Stan Chia, the CEO, and he forwarded my email to their customer support team who will not refund me & keep changing their story. I emailed Stan Chia again asking for someone from his office to call me to refund. I disputed my charge with PayPal because this company scammed me. Do not buy tickets from them. Look at the reviews...they speak volumes. Vivid Seats should not be allowed to sell tickets.

    I would not buy from this company EVER AGAIN!! I would give them zero stars if I could. Tickets are more than double the venue's ticket price and then they charge a large fee (for them to help the customers)... yet they will not help and or work with you. Buying or selling tickets. They have a 100% Buyer Guarantee that claims that their prices are comparable to the prices elsewhere. Again... more than double the price. I paid the highest VIP pricing and only got general admission. The tickets arrive 4 days before the event which doesn't give me time to sell them.

    Buyer beware, and sellers... forget about it! I had 4 extra tickets to an upcoming NFL game. My cousins bailed on me, so I created a listing on Vivid Seats to sell the extras. The listing showed "green" status, however when I checked back the listing was not active. After multiple attempts to get information from customer service, I was eventually told that only large ticket brokers (read: scalpers) are allowed to sell electronic tickets via Vivid. Regular people can only sell hard tickets or emailed PDF tickets (however 99% of games/shows these days use electronic tickets). No regular person is allowed to sell these electronic tickets on this site, but they do not alert you to that fact unless you are lucky enough to find someone helpful in customer service. For me, this didn't occur until the third person I spoke with.

    I wasted hours of my times, and several days of potential sales, due to the poor communication from this company. To top it all off, the second customer service rep I spoke with refused to answer my questions and instead "ended my chat". Beyond frustrating and I will never do business with this company again. You should not either, if you value your time. If you do buy from this company, know that you are feeding into the scalping & ridiculously inflated prices for concerts and games these days. As for me, I will be "voting" with my money and patronizing a company that actually provides decent customer service.

    I buy a ticket for Metallica in Glendale AZ. September 1, 2023. I purchase the ticket in April and I never received. I follow the instructions step by step download a SeatGeek app because they transfer to them and nope never received, unknown error occurred.

    I was ordering tickets to the Tn VOLS VS Verginia game in Nashville. Vivid Seats had 2 tickets available. I clicked to order, paid, and only received one ticket, I called them. They told me there was nothing they could do as they have, that I only ordered one ticket, now I lost my money and can’t go to the game!! SCAMMERS!!     Bought tickets to an NFL game without researching these guys fully. Just made sure they were a legit company. Let me tell you. They suck. Filing a complaint via my attorney as we speak. Said tickets were supposed to be delivered on or before 8/31/23 so when I called to figure out why they were not delivered they told me the venue has not released the tickets which is a bold faced lie. Every ticket for every nfl game has already been released by the venue so then the date instantly changed to receive the tickets after the phone call. I have family coming in from Michigan to Florida for this game. Now the delivery date has changed to the day before the game. This is such bad business and reading the reviews on here I'm sure if I get the tickets at all they definitely won't be the 2nd row tickets I purchased. Such a scam and a horrible business. How are they still even open.
