    I am beyond furious. Do NOT book through Tickets at Work. My husband and I prepaid $450 for a rental car THREE MONTHS in advance for our trip. We arrived at Ace Car Rental at the Denver airport with our 1.5-year-old daughter, expecting a smooth pickup after a long travel day. Instead, we were told our reservation had been canceled.

    Confused, I called Tickets at Work immediately. They claimed the reservation was still active on their end and said they would “open a ticket.” Meanwhile, we were stuck at the rental counter for two hours with an exhausted toddler who had reached full meltdown mode. When I asked how long it would take to fix, they told me it could take over THREE HOURS. Completely unacceptable.

    At that point, I had no choice. I told them to cancel everything and issue a refund so we could get a car and leave. We then had to pay again out of pocket just to get out of the airport. It has now been six weeks. No refund. No resolution. No accountability. Just silence. This feels like straight-up theft. They took our money, failed to provide the service, and have done nothing to make it right. Avoid Tickets at Work at all costs unless you want to risk being stranded, out hundreds of dollars, and ignored when it matters most.

    Huge scammers!!!! I bought tickets for Disney last year, I couldn't make it to Disney because we got COVID and couldn't drive from Missouri to Florida. I called Disney right away and explained that I was sick with COVID, they told me to just call back when I'm feeling better and they can change the dates for me for a later time. I then called back in January, they told me that I can change dates but there will be a fee to do so, which was fine but I wasn't ready to pay it yet. So she told me to call back when I was ready.

    I called Disney the third time on Sunday, and they told me at that point that they can't modify dates since I used the third-party website to pay. So I called Tickets at Work, explained the situation and how I was sick, and that I thought I was going through the correct method to change the dates. She said she would escalate my refund request since they couldn't modify the dates either. And they DENIED ME! $1400 just down the drain because we got freaking COVID and couldn't travel. I'm so angry! Do not ever use this company! So I lost money and the dream vacation for my family. What crooks!

    We ordered tickets for a Mrs Doubtfire show at the Shubert Theater in New Haven in late Jan. Tickets were supposed to arrive no later than Fri 3/6 for the Sun 3/8 2PM show. No tickets Friday. Called Sat at 8AM - tickets should arrive during the day. No tickets. Called at 8PM - assured us tickets by midnight. No tickets. Called at 8AM Sun. No answers. Finally at 9:30AM on the day of the show, we were told our tickets were cancelled. We had an entire day built around the show - dinner & hotel reservations. A refund with no apology or future credits or discounts. We asked to speak with a supervisor & were denied by the rep we were speaking with. We filed a complaint with them through their website 4 days ago - no response yet.

    Buyer beware...not worth the "discount" for the hassle and have lost almost $1000.00 using Tickets At Work. I bought 2 park tickets with the express passes through Tickets At Work for our family of 4 to Univeral Studios Orlando in 2022 for a trip. Unfortunately halfway through our vacation, we got covid and couldn't use the 2nd park ticket due to the covid restrictions at that time. I initially did an online "chat" with both Universal Studios as well as Disney. They both said yes, we would be able to apply our tickets to a future date and would just have to pay the difference. (We had bought our Disney tickets directly through Disney.)

    We are going back to Orlando this spring 2026 and called Disney first and they said yes, we'll be able to get tickets for the missed days after writing an email about our situation and what happened. Wonderful, what a pleasant experience talking to Disney. I called Universal and they too said yes we can work with you but once they saw the tickets were from a 3rd party, they said we'd need to talk to Tickets At Work as we bought our tickets through them.

    I called Tickets At Work numerous times and emailed in numerous times and I got the same reply of no. They make like they're trying in your best interest to make things right and have to talk to their "partners" for you. The "partners" say no, the tickets are too old and it was a final sale. And I'm unclear who the "partners" are because if it's Universal Studios, they actually said yes. They also kept saying there are no refunds and I had to repeatedly tell them I didn't want a refund, I just wanted to use the tickets we paid for and we'd pay the difference for 2026 prices.

    I also offered to buy the rest of our park days through them. I was really trying to work with them. The answer was no and then they'd close the ticket so you can't respond. I understand it was a final sale but there is a level of discretion that is also written in their fine print that they are allowed. Their last response was to talk to Universal. Super frustrating. The "discount" that I "saved" going through them was not even close to the almost $1000.00 that I lost by following the rules back in 2022. Very unhappy and disappointed with them.

    The tickets were purchased approximately four years ago and have since expired under the park’s rules. At this point, we no longer have the ability to cancel, modify, or reissue the tickets, nor can we provide replacement tickets.
    As a third‑party seller, we do not control post‑expiration exceptions. The only possible option would be for the guest to contact the park directly to inquire whether they are willing to offer a rain check or credit as a courtesy. In some cases, parks may allow this, though it is entirely at their discretion and may require the guest to pay any price difference.

    Unfortunately, once tickets have expired for this length of time, we are unable to make changes, modifications, or exchanges on our end.

    The hotel was overbook and TicketsatWork don't give notice until check-in. Stating that it was overbooked. No way they did not know at least the day of. That is ever the bad part. The email they sent about overbooking was bare bones. Email comes from a 3rd party address, tells us to call them with no phone number to call, and a timeline with ASAP. The company fails every possible check, helping a bad event become a worse event, then a nightmare event. Trying to get them to comp me booking a last-minute hotel since I have no choice or time to get this sorted. They are refusing to comp.

    Used TicketsatWork to book a hotel. I later find out I have no booking and my reservation was canceled. Now I already paid tickets at work for the room and the hotel says there is nothing they can do. I contacted tickets at work requesting a refund and they say the hotel won’t refund. The hotel won’t refund because the card tickets at work used was declined. Now I’m out of $160 and they won’t do anything about it.

    Such a scam. Charged $15 in taxes and fees that I didn’t find out about until I got the confirmation email. It would have been cheaper to purchase directly from the attraction. Do not use. I called to get a refund right after, but was denied.

    This company is horrible. They double charged my husband's card. I fought and been fighting to get that refunded back to his card. He purchased a ticket for me r/t to go to Spain. Through Delta. If I knew what I know now I would run far the hell away from this company. My ticket was $1478.03. They charged a agency fee of $$1480.03 on top of my flight. I've been calling and calling to get that payment refunded. No one is talking. I keep calling 8052003709. Philippines keep answering and hanging up on me!! Have been just rude for no reason, just until it happens to them.

    Anyways my ticket went down from $1478.03 to $1032.00 I spoke with Ron who assured me that he would escalate my concern.. And that it should not be a problem to have this adjusted. That he would email the manager in that dept to get this resolved. I have been patient.. Keep calling and getting hung up on!! SMH can someone reach out to me for guidance on my behalf please.. I hope this company fold up and wither away.

    I am able to use a payment method once or twice, including PayPal, but they all eventually get blocked and TicketsatWork will just reply with some generic 'it has been escalated and is being looked at' with no real progress ever being made.

    Having some real difficulty reaching a live person at their Member Services number (1-800-331-6483). I've been on hold for 3 hours now trying to cancel an order number and am starting to feel like I'm getting the call system run around. Currently still on hold as I type this. There is a massive snowstorm where I was going, hotel cancelled and provided full refund and confirmation and cancellation number on their end. I was instructed to cancel the order number and am trying to do that, but no one seems to want to pick up the phone. Cancellation is 2 full day prior to cancellation deadline. The manager reached out to me, offered me a $100 gift card to be used only at tickets at work website, I tried to use the gift card on their website but their website only takes card payments so the gift card is useless and a skim to change my original Review to 5 stars. I reached out to Richard about this gift card issue, no response. Please don't reach out to me again. Thank you for wasting my time tickets at work.

    Original Review: Bought a Hotel Reservation in October 2025 and was notified I had until the actual day to cancel, I decided to cancel two days prior to reservation day, was unable to cancel on the website, I was only able to put in a ticket for cancellation, received a response the next day around 6 pm that someone would get back to me within 72 hours. Gave me the run around to call the hotel myself for a refund after "numerous attempts" to request refund from hotel by TicketsatWork were denied as they stated. Hotel notified me they received no refund requests from TicketsatWork.

    TicketsatWork kept me on the phone over 30 minutes numerous days just giving me the run around. I finally decided to deal with the hotel and Priceline directly, turns out Priceline only received a portion of the funds, TicketsatWork kept some while they kept saying they sent all the money to Priceline and the hotel. Three months later I received my refund.

    Purchased tickets for National Western Stock Show for $85 per ticket through Tickets at Work. After completion of purchase, noted ticketed seats through NWS website were actually $65. Contacted Tickets at Work who launched an investigation requesting I provide a screen shot of ticket information. After providing Tickets at Work documentation, received email stating case closed siting non-refundable ticket. I did not request a refund but seat upgrade or refund of the difference. Tickets At Work stopped responding.

    I booked and paid for a hotel reservation directly through Tickets at Work. The written cancellation policy clearly stated that I could cancel for a full refund until Wednesday, December 3 at midnight local hotel time. On December 3 at approximately 11:00 AM, well before the midnight deadline, I attempted to cancel online. The cancellation system did not work. I immediately called customer service, and the representative also could not cancel due to system issues. After more than 40 minutes on the phone and no supervisor available, a “ticket” was submitted to cancel the reservation on my behalf. I received an email confirming that the ticket had been submitted.

    Tickets at Work said they would follow up within 48–72 hours but did not acknowledge the issue until December 7. On December 13, they denied my refund, claiming I was a “no-show.” I was not a no-show. I attempted cancellation online and by phone before the deadline. Tickets at Work’s technology failed, and they did not handle the issue in a timely manner. Tickets at Work failed to honor their own cancellation policy and should issue a full refund. All calls are recorded, if tickets at work does not respond, I will escalate with the State of Florida.

    Do not use this site!! I tried to buy concert tickets in November 2024, but there was a website error that kept telling me checkout had failed and to try again. The order finally processed on my third attempt. It wasn't until afterwards that I was notified that all three orders went through. I contacted support immediately and was denied a refund. I should have been refunded for the two additional orders immediately because this was entirely the fault of the site. I was charged over $1600 on tickets when I had only budgeted for $500, causing issues with my credit card.

    I have reached out to support multiple times requesting a refund, but all sales are final. This is unacceptable. I'm starting to think this must be a scam and that the site is designed to create these errors and confuse people into placing multiple 'nonrefundable' orders. I still need a refund for order **, which should have been cancelled when I first contacted support about the error a year ago. I do not recommend this site, go to a real company.

    I am currently on my 2nd appeal for a cancel and refund request for a hotel reservation 10+ days from when I began the request. They are denying the request and haven’t even reached out the hotel when the hotel's policy is 24 hours advance notice and hotel staff have stated that, without hesitation, it is an easy refund. I have requested to speak with a supervisor which they have not yet been able to arrange! Terrible so far, we’ll see if it gets resolved and I’ll update.

    I received a hotel confirmation from TicketsAtWork.com. I had never heard of this company before and tried to cancel this reservation and receive a refund of the amount that was charged to my credit card. Not able to log into their website because I didn't have an account with them so I couldn't cancel online and had to call their phone number. Called at 12:27pm on 10/9/25 and waited until 1:45pm to actually connect to a live person. It took about 5 minutes to go thru the cancellation process and receive a cancellation confirmation which said that I would receive a full refund in 3-8 business days. The off-shore service rep was pleasant but we had communication issues which caused some delays because many things had to be repeated but we were able to work thru the problems.

    I purchased concert tickets 3 months ago through Tickets at Work. Upon completing my purchase I received a confirmation that stated the tickets would be shipped to me prior to the show. Within minutes I received a second e-mail stating that instead the tickets would be e-mailed to me (although I was charged $20 for shipping) and that the e-mail would arrive "up to the day of the event". I was weary of that policy but decided to stay patient.

    When the day of the event arrived and I had not received the tickets, I called customer service at 9 AM to try and resolve. I was told they needed 1-3 hours to investigate and try to get a tracking number (the rep still indicated the tickets were coming via FedEx). When I had not received a follow up call or e-mail within 3 hours I called back again. The rep still had no idea how the tickets were to be sent and said they needed another 1-3 hours to investigate. At that point, I stated that would not work as I would need to leave within 3 hours to make it to the venue in time so I requested a cancellation/refund. The rep said they put in that request and gave me a ticket number saying it would take 72 hours for a response.

    I went about my evening only to find out the tickets had been forwarded to me 45 minutes before show time, too late for me to get to the venue on time. When I followed up on my cancellation request a few days later, I was informed that the request number I had received was related to tracking the tickets down, not for cancellation, so I had to submit another cancellation request which was promptly denied the next day. It appears Tickets at Work is ok as long as their 3rd party gets paid, not whether their customers are treated fairly.

    I purchased a discounted membership voucher for Sam's Club and went to use it and was told that I wasn't considered a new customer. Ticketsatwork did not have any fine print information stating that Sam's Club considered it a renewal within 12 months. The problem is that Ticketsatwork stated I just needed to use a different email but Sam's Club changed that and stated it's by name now. The voucher only works with my name and it won't transfer to my anyone else per Sam's Club.

    TicketsatWork needs to verify terms and conditions more often because if I had seen that information before purchase I wouldn't have paid for the voucher. And.... I attempted a refund request with updates T&C information directly from Sam's Club showing the details and was still denied. I will not use Ticketsatwork because of this anymore. Customer service was incorrect and will not make it right after using this company for so many years. Update terms and conditions so others aren't stuck.

    I hope I could give a zero star. This company is a scam. I purchased two "discounted tickets" from them at $112 each. When I received the electronic tickets from the venue, it has the face value printed as $46 each. I immediately called them to ask for a refund. They told me they would put in a request and get back to me within 72 hours. 72 hours passed and I didn't hear a thing. When I called them again, I was told that they would follow up with a new request and get back in 72 hours. Several phone calls and several days later they rejected my refund. It is a shame my employer lists them as a perk. Avoid at all costs!

    Updated on 09/13/2025: Well after a week and hours on the phone they told me I didn’t actually cancel the flight so they can’t give me a credit, surprise, surprise!! This whole thing started because I cancelled my flight. Out over $800. Will never use them again!!

    Original Review: Ticketsatwork refused to refund or credit my flights. I spoke to several customer service agents who were contradicting themselves. Their email states refunds/credits are allowable based on the Airline you are working with. Southwest stated a credit is allowable but it has to go through the travel manager (Ticketsatwork). I asked to speak to a Manager and they refused stating one is not available. They then proceeded to hang up on me. There goes $900, will never use them again and will make sure all friends and family don't either.

    Booked a hotel through TicketsatWork, got to the hotel and they didn’t have the correct room size I booked and it would not accommodate my family. Went to stay at a different hotel, contacted tickets at work trying to receive a refund on a hotel I did not stay at! It’s been almost 2 weeks, the hotel emailed me and said they processed my refund that night I didn’t stay there! Still have no update from tickets at work. It's so frustrating and upsetting. They say they’ll reach out every 72 hours, but they do not.

Last time I purchased 3 tickets for a concert ($600 total), received only 1 ticket and spent more than 24 hours trying to solve the situation with their customer service to no use.     After posting my experience on Consumer Affairs I received a message to call Tickets At Work. They ended up refunding my money after several communications and sending proof of the usable gift cards were pricked provided by me to TAW. It is a shame that it takes going to this amount of effort to get a refund on a service that is not accepted or usable.

    TaW did give me a refund after all this plus an addition credit for my embarrassing, frustrating and time consuming negative experience. I want to thank Richard Senior Manager for his efforts in resolving this issue.

    I purchased tickets in March 2025 for a comedy show on July 26th, 2025 and it was indicated the tickets would be mailed to me. In April, May or June I had not received the tickets; each month when I checked their website for a date the tickets were to be mailed; I continued to receive the same information of the tickets will be received by July 25. I submitted my 5th email yesterday (8/4) and received this response: "A refund can not be granted due to the tickets were sent WILL CALL"! Now they have come up with a entirely new excuses! I have asked for the documentation that was sent to me advising the tickets were being sent to the event as a "Will Call" pick-up! No such advisement was "Ever" sent to me! This company is simply finding new excuses Not to refund my $157! I am filing a complaint with BBB and I am contacting my financial institution regarding Fraudulent Withdrawal charges against this company!

    I reserved a hotel for my vacation which didn't have the amenities that they published, the TV in our room didn't work, the phone cable was cut, the toilet didn't flush. I checked out after 1 night and choose another hotel for the rest of my vacation. The Hotel refunded the money back to TAW because of the poor service however TAW hasn't refunded the cost back to my card. My vacation ended 2 weeks ago.

    Don't use! It's the same as Booking.com except they are less likely to be correct, and will not refund or change your tickets under any circumstances! My husband had a medical emergency and they didn't care. They make you wait on hold for a long time, say they will be in contact, they email you a denial and then expect you to wait on hold again to speak to anyone, can't even reply to the email. You can get the same price on booking.com or other such sites that have better customer service. Honestly I'd avoid pre booking any hotel if you can help it, because you'll be on the hook for the price no matter what happens. It's predatory and not fair to consumers. I recommend booking.com because they have options to book and not pay until you arrive at some places.

    I booked a beach-level Bay room at the Nautical Beach Resort (a great hotel with amazing views) for the 4th of July weekend, going through TicketsatWork on 6/4/25 paying $1838.00. When I got to the hotel on July 3rd, we were put in an upper level room. When I went to the front desk to inquire, they said that TAW sent them information that I booked an upper level room and only paid the hotel $1,015.52.

    I contacted TAW and after explaining I was requesting a refund of the difference for what I paid and what they paid the hotel, the customer service person submitted a claim for me. The next morning I received an email that a refund would not be issued and the case was closed. I have tried to reach out again and they wanted pictures of the room, which I did not have so now I have to wait for TAW to get a rend from the hotel when TAW owes me the refund.

    I have tried calling the TicketsatWork customer service line all week, trying at different hours of the day, evening, night and even on a Saturday. I stayed on hold for a full 45 minutes today, hoping that the recorded message promising that someone would help me soon was telling the truth! I have not been able to speak with anyone about canceling our hotel reservations for July. We’ve already been charged almost $4000 for the rooms but are supposed to be entitled to a full refund.

    When I checked my account on the TAW website, it said that there was no history of this purchase/reservation!!! Well, I have the confirmation emails for the 3 rooms and the charges on my credit card statement to show! This was our first time using TAW and our last! I will also be talking with our HR about this and spreading the word around our very large healthcare system about how unpleasant this experience has been! What if this issue had been urgent? Don’t want to do business with ghosts!
