I placed an order to buy parking passes Saturday 10/18 for the Giants game 10/19. When I received the email that they received the order and the seller had 48 hours to confirm I immediately called Stubhub concerned that I would not have my parking pass. They told me to wait a few hours to see if it gets confirmed. I called back after NOT receiving a confirmation after about 3 hours and the customer service representative said to me that he WOULD cancel the order. At that point I was no longer concerned with the order until after the game I got home and checked my email and see an order confirmation that was received after midnight.

I call Stubhub on Monday to see what happened and the representative tells me that the cancellations was denied. I wasn't told that they were putting in a request to cancel the order but that they would cancel the order. The representative told me there was nothing they could do so I asked to speak to a manager. No manager was in at the time so I had to call back. After walking another representative through the whole process again they tell me that a manager would call me back. They did NOT.

I call again on Tuesday and am put on hold and then hung up on. I call back and then am put on hold for over 30 minutes when finally a supervising manager named Nick comes on the phone. He was not accommodating in the least bit. He got loud with me and told me all he can do was to refund my shipping cost of $15 out of the $108 that I spent. He said that they would deal with the representative that misinformed me internally but there was nothing else he can do for me.

Website stated tickets would be delivered FedEx 2 day. But AFTER they debit your credit card, you get an email that your tickets will be delivered two days prior to the event, which is a month and a half away. I called and said I would be driving 9 hours to the event and wanted a refund. So I could buy from someone who actually HAD the tickets, but they won't give me a refund. With so many places selling tickets to events, why would anyone purchase tickets that the seller didn't even have yet? I don't want to wait until two days before the event to find out the tickets aren't available. This is a very dishonest way to do business.

StubHub sold me invalid tickets belonging, to James ** of NYC, that was on September 18th Yankees game. I have asked several times for an answer: Did they or the owner of the tickets commit fraud? No answer. Oh - they did send me a $200 credit. The cost of my trip exceeded $4k. I do plan to submit a complaint to the NY Attorney General's office. I hope this will work; I have my doubts. I see StubHub (an eBAY Co) donated to the AG's political fund.

On 2/21/08, I purchased 4 tickets from Stubhub for the George Strait concert at the Home Depot Center, CA. I paid $451.95. The event date was 3/29/08. The concert was cancelled and I received an email detailing how and where to return the tickets for a full refund. I never received my refund. I have called several times, emailed, to no avail. Finally on 8/25/08, I spoke with William in their Executive Customer Service Department, who stated that they had no proof that they received the tickets, did I have a tracking number? Seven months had passed. I had no clue about the tracking number. The point is moot. The concert was cancelled, the tickets are void. William agreed and stated that I would receive a full refund forthwith. I am still waiting and now when I call, they refuse to even allow me to speak with a supervisor. They refuse to give out any corporate phone numbers. I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

CONCERT TICKET BUYERS BEWARE, do not do business at all with Stub Hub if you need any kind of event tickets including sports events. They are owned by EBay and apparently they don't care at all about their customers. I bought tickets to a Black Crowes Concert that is not until November 14th 2008. I purchase two tickets from Stub Hub over two months ago. Unfortunately our house burned down and was a total loss. The tickets I had purchased and everything else we owned was lost. I contacted Stub Hub to simply get replacement tickets and was told on several occasions that they could NOT replace the tickets or refund my money. I guess no one has ever lost their tickets, huh. What crap!

Now I paid $326.55 for two tickets that had a face value of $45 per ticket and Stub Hub will do nothing at all to help me and there will be no one sitting in the seats. This company is scalping tickets online and should be illegal at the very least. Anyone with any information regarding this company please contact me at my email address, because I will be investigating this company thoroughly including contacting their local States Attorney to start a class action suit. This is straight up fraud and I will be sure to warn anyone wanting to buy event tickets to be sure they DO NOT do business with Stub Hub for any kind of ticket.

My daughter saw an add on Stub Hub for 12 Bears tickets and called her friends and raised 1200 to buy them. In the notes section of the add it gave the email address for the seller which is strictly against Stub Hub policy. She did not know you were not supposed to disscuss the sale with the seller and he told her to go ahead and send the money to him. She recieved a confirmation from what she tought was stub hub but it was all a scam. Now she is out 1200 ,all she earned working all summer.

Stub Hub said they could not help her even though they admit the email for the seller should not have been posted with the listing. I know she made a mistake but so did Stub Hub. Beware of any listing with an email address.

I purchased 8 tickets to the Chargers vs. Chiefs game through Stubhub. After placing my order, I received a confirmation email and it showed a note: tickets may not be consecutive seats. I quickly called Stubhub to confirm if consecutive or I will cancel my order. The operator verbally agreed that they were in order and that she did not see in the notes that these indicated non-consecutive. I decided to proceed with the order. Once I received my tickets, 1 seat was not with the rest of the 7 tickets.

I called Stubhub to complain. They informed me that the seller indicated this on the note. I explained to them their own service rep assured me these are consecutive seats, had she not done so I would have cancelled my entire order. The first operator I spoke to said I can ask to switch seats on game day or put up the 1 ticket for sale. Who buys one ticket to a football game?- let alone a ticket that's 40% marked up from its orginial price.

Jeremy, the supervisor that I was directed to, admitted and confirmed with me that his service rep made an error and all he can do is give me a $10 coupon. He said he cannot refund me the money. What I would have liked is Stubhub refund me my purchase. I will not deal with this company again and recommend you not to either.

I am short $105.00. I hope I can switch seats with the other fans.

I purchased 2 6th row tickets for the rock band RUSH in May, 2008. Since I am a big fan and have seen every tour since the early 1980's I am willing to pay big bucks for great seats. StubHub's seller would not divulge the actual seat assignments due to security issues, but they assured me that the seats were dead center. Of course, I had already researched the section I wanted to sit in at this particular venue near Portland, OR, so I only looked for seats in the 103 section.

We got the tickets, no problem that had a face value of $75 each for $600. When we got to the venue, we discovered that the seats were on the asile which meant that at least 50 people disturbed us throughout the show going in and out (we never left our seats once) and instead of being dead center we were at the very left hand corner of the stage.

These terrible seats ruined our experience and since I am not very tall, I could not view the band. It was a 3 hour trip on either side of the show and I was led to believe that dead center meant that we would be in the center of the middle front section, not on the side. When I called StubHub the next day to complain, the girl was so completely rude to me. She actually said Well, if you would have been in the middle, you would have been disturbing the people on the aisle when you needed to get more beer. First of all, we were not drinking, so we never got up to get beer nor did we need to use the bathroom.

I wanted my money refunded and the seller diciplined for lying about the seats being dead center. The only consession StubHub would make is they gave me a coupon that expired in 3 weeks for 10% off my next purchase. Well, guess what? I will NEVER buy tickets from StubHub again and their offer to make things right was insulting. StubHub is just a high-priced scalping agancy that should not be allowed to exist.

Be extremely careful in dealing with StubHub.com. I sold two tickets through StubHub.com. I followed their instructions precisely. Their agent, Fed Ex, admits they lost the two tickets.

I requested Stubhub.com honor its guarantee to sellers. I have wasted a lot of time trying to obtain payment. StubHub.com keeps promising they will pay me. I am still hopeful to obtain payment but they should not make payment so difficult.

I am waiting for payment of my $302.60.

I found two season tickets to the NC State Football. These tickets were in the same section as my own tickets, in the expensive Club Section. They were a good price, so I bought them. The next day, I was looking around to see if there might be any other tickets in the Club Section for a single game or two. I discovered what appeared to be my tickets listed as individual game tickets for the same price, but per game.

So, I called and emailed StubHub. The StubHub agents assured me that I had bought the two season tickets. When I asked how they could make the seller deliver all of the tickets. I was told that if he did not, I would be given comparable or better tickets. Of course, I explained to him that I only wanted Club Seat tickets as I owned plenty of good tickets outside of the Club Section and just wanted to bring my family members up for a couple of games. The Club Section includes a private elevator, free food and beverages, AC/Heat, etc.

When I pressed the agent to contact the seller, he put me on hold and then came back to tell me that the seller was not home and a voicemail message was left. Three days later, having heard othing by email or phone, I called StubHub. The person I got this time put me on hold to try to find out what was going on with the tickets. At the same time, the original agent contacted me on my cell phone to tell me that their search people were looking for comparable tickets. When I asked how they would find Club Seats, I was told that they had plenty of sources. I even offered to take four single game Club Seats in the same section that they had listed.

The next day, I received an email to call StubHub. The agent announced that they had found two season tickets in Section 222. When I informed him that section was in the endzone and not comparable tickets, he just asked me if I wanted them or not. Of course, I said no, and they cancelled the whole thing. I see this has happened to several people at different venues. There is no way I could recommend StubHub after this experience.

Other than some of my valuable time, my sister and family all excited about getting to join me in the Club Section, I am just really annoyed that this vendor is allowed to get away with the comparable promise. Apparently, I am very lucky that they did not charge me. (Or, at least they haven't yet!)

As a loyal customer I am very dissappointed with the Stub Hub. I was searching online for some All Star tickets and saw some attractive ones on findticketsfast.com. Then when I saw they were charging $200 per ticket as thier comission I decided to try Stub Hub where i usually get my tickets if they are not available from the team itself. So I planned on buying tickets between $900 and $1000 for the All Star game. I went to Stub Hub and wanted to see what the comission was on a pair of tickets about the same amount, so I went to a random pair of tickets and got to the screen that showed the comission was only $100 per ticket. I thought this was not bad, and I will return to the site later to buy my tickets.

While browsing for the tickets a pop up came on my screen and I noticed i had a hotmail email from Stub Hub, and checked it out to see if it was possibly a discount code or something. To my suprise it was a confirmation email saying Congradulations on buying the tickets i was looking at. I hac NEVER clicked on a button that said "purchase", "order", "confirm" or anything of the sort. I simply clicked the back button from the page that shows the seat #s and Row, as well as the comission rate.

So, I immediately called Stub hub and told a customer service rep what had happened. He did not listen to my side of the story and told me there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to a manager, and he would not put me on the phone with anyone else.

Then I immediately hung up and called right back. I asked for a manager and the guy on the phone said he would be the one who couuld help me. He as well did nothing to help me with this problem. I asked for a manager and he also claimed "he was the one who woudl help me with the problem". Not one of them let me talk to a manager so I said "If you dont do something about this I will have my bank dispute the charges".

Both men I talked to that day, had said "Do what you what with your bank it does not matter to us". I cant belive this is the kind of customer service a reputable company like Stub Hub would put up with. They never even once considered that i could possibly be right.

Tuesday July 8th, 16 days later the tickets show up, after i had even disputed the charge with my bank, and tried to tell Stub Hub what the problem was. I have refused the package as these are not tickets I have ordered nor does Stub Hub have my money for.

About a hour after I refused the tickets a different man called me from Stub Hub asking why I had refused the tickets. I told him the whole story from above. He argued with me for 30 mintues which I do not have to waste arguing at work. Note: I am a passive guy that does not argue with anyone, but this guy was going on and on, not listening to my side of the story at all. I asked the man who called me if I could speak to his manager or the owner or someone that has authority there. He put me back on the phone with the second guy I spoke to when I called the first day. WHO IS NOT EVEN A MANAGER!

That guy once again argued with me for about 10 minutes until I could not take talking to him, without him listening to my side of the story and saying I should just take the tickets and enjoy the game.

I will not let my bank release the money to Stub Hub for these tickets, as I did not order them, and I tried all I could to resolve this issue. The three guys I tried to work this out with would not listen to my side of the story and would laugh as I told them what was going on. I assume they were talking amongst themselves as i was talking.

All in all, I think Stub Hub should re-post the tickets and get the money for them. I tried all I could so the seller would not be affected by this error, wherever it occured. I will not accept the tickets as I feel that would be stealing, and I am an Honest and Trustworthy guy. If I had made the mistake I would confessed to it, and tried to figure out a way to correct this, even if it meant paying the comission on it or even taking the tickets to use. But, its the fact that I never ordered them in the first place, only looked at them online. All in all I want to go to this game, and even would have ordered the tickets through Stub Hub, but after this ordeal I dont know if Stub Hub can win back my business.

I go to about 25 baseball games and 4 football games a season, not to mention the concerts and plays I attend. If tickets are not available Stub Hub was my first resort. This is not only true for myself but for all my buddies. I would have never expected to be treated the way I have been by Stub Hub or any of its employees. Im am utterly dissappointed. Now Chase/Visa has recharged my card the full amount of the tickets, and the game is over. Chase says they can not ask Visa to re-submit a claim. So in the end, I am out just short of $2000.

Attempted to purchase tickets for an Astros game July 15, 2008 for Sunday, July 20, 2008 @ Minute Maid Park. I paid $301 including $41 in commissions and a "Last Minute Handling Fee" for 2 seats - Sec. 125, Row 9. After receiving the e-mail confirmation I noticed it stated "Accessible area, astros bring out comfortable chairs, tons of room, best seats in stadium" and of course they were Sec 225, Row 9. I didn't wish to purchase "Accessible seats" nor did I want to be on the 2nd leel, so I called the customer service department to ask if I could have different seats, she said no.

I also learned at that time that I couldn't pick up the tickets until 11:05 AM, 2 hours before the game, not the event that day. I needed the tickets by 10:00 AM on game day to be one of the 1st 2,500 fans allowed into the park (Canon Photo Day). They didn't offer to overnight the tickets since they wouldn't refund or exchange them and stated that I must pick up the tickets (which wouldn't work for me unless I picked them up prior to 10:00 AM), and if the tickets said "handicap accessible" they would replace the tickets.

I ended up purchasing tickets on the Astros Website for Sec 226, Row 3 for a total of $151 (they had just been released). This event was for our 1st Anniversary so I had to get good seats and my wife is a professional photographer so we HAD to be at the Canon Photo Day event to take pictures of the Astros. I am currently disputing the C/C charge and hope to have this resolved. I will NEVER use Stubhub.com and the MLB should re-evaluate their relationship with them given all the compplaints.

After much deliberation, I recently decided to splurge on tickets to Billy Joel's concert at Shea stadium for the 7/18 show. When I purchased the tix, there were many choices available on Stubhub, and while quite costly at $280 each, I took the plunge and purchased two field-level seats. These tickets were to be Fed Ex overnighted to me, for which I paid an additional $19.95. When the concert date grew closer and I had not received a confirmation email or tracking email, I emailed Stubhub to check on everything. No response. I emailed again. Still no response. Finally, the DAY BEFORE THE CONCERT, I was informed that the tickets I bought were, in fact, NOT available!

I was offered only this option: purchase new tickets--but at DOUBLE the price, and all the way up in the nosebleed seats! I spoke with a customer service agent, then his manager, I begged and pleaded with them--but both told me the same thing: "Sorry, but there's nothing else we can do for you." Since by now it was the very day before the concert, there were virtually no tickets left for sale, except for a very few way up top and for double what I had originally bought them for.

I am still shaking just thinking about this incident, and at the utter lack of concern that Stubhub's "customer service" showed for my plight. While I assumed this was just a freak incident regarding one unscrupulous seller, reading the other posts here makes me realize that this practice happens all too often. It seems to me like they deal with this type of bait and switch quite a bit: offer tickets at one price, then pull them back and charge double--thereby doubling THEIR commission.

The seller of these tickets sells same tickets every night and each night, the unsuspecting buyers are sent to the box office just as we were. I've filed a complaint to Stubhub requesting a refund, but i had many problems before this, but this the icing on the cake and the reason i am posting a public complaint in hopes that other poeple will not use this terrible website.

Stub Hub is a customer service nightmare. I purchased tickets online for a Tom Petty Concert in Phoenix. I wanted to sit in certain section next to the stage. I bought and paid for tickets from the online site. I was getting excited for the show when i get a call from Stub Hub TWO WEEKS LATER saying that those tickets were sold already by the poster and that he has some other tickets that he will sell me.

Well, the seller had sold those tickets prior and didn't notify Stub Hub. So, they go on to tell me that this seller has some other tickets which are TWO SECTIONS BACK ... and WAY UP... And he would be kind enough to sell me those tickets. Well, If i knew this TWO WEEKS ago i could have bought other tickets from elsewhere for around the same price... the problem in this case is that:

    A) They sold me tickets that were not actually available to sell. B.) They didn't notify me for TWO WEEKS.

So, my loss was the tickets where i bought and wanted and time. The price of tickets dramically increased in those two weeks as the show become more publicized, etc. So, there was no way to get those tickets for the price i originally bought them at ... and i was going to have to take the lesser tickets at the same price? Are you crazy? They would not even find me comparable seats as the tickets were way too high now... I told them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine and my mission would be to advise friends, family and everyone else what a scam this company is. I mean, at least admit that you made a mistake by failing to inform your client of the situation in a timely matter and try and correct it instead of just telling customers you are basically screwed...sorry.

I wanted to purchase 3 tickets for the US Open Playoff at Torrey Pines for June 16, 2008. On Sunday June 15 at approximately 5:40 PST I found Stubhub online. They had tickets at the price of $89 but only sold in even increments. Since I only needed 3, I called them to see if they could sell me 3 by phone. The representative I spoke to, Dustin, said also that he could only sell them in even numbers. I told him I really wanted to buy 3 but I would go ahead and purchase 4. He gave me the price of $89 each, 10 percent charge ($8.90 each ticket, and he actually stated the dollar amount) and a $15 charge for pick up. I agreed to that price and we proceded with the sale.

At the end of the call when he gave me the disclaimer, he gave me a total of $580.60. (He did not give me a breakdown of the charges at that point). I thought the cost was kind of high, but I had been told this was a large, reputable company, so I did not question the total at that point. As soon as I hung up, I did start to question the total so I got a calculator out to figure out the charges. It added up to $406.60. I did not see where the extra amount was coming from so I immediately called back. I was told by Carol that the cost of the tickets had gone up and I was charged $129 each for them. I explained my story and asked to speak to a supervisor. She said she would try to take care of it for me.

After I had been on hold for quite awhile, she said that all calls are recorded and they had tried to retrieve the recording of my call but they were not able to. Again I was put on hold. I waited on hold on and off with her for about 45 minutes. She finally said that she was sorry, but bottom line is all sales are final and I would have to pay the full amount. I told her that was not acceptable and again asked to speak to a supervisor. Jacob B came on the line. He said he is a supervisor in the New Mexico Call Center. I again explained my story.

Again I was put on hold. He told me he would give me $15 credti toward the pick up charge and would give me a $60 credit towards my next purchase(wow-with this type of service there will be no next purchase). I told him that was not acceptable. He also said that there appeared to be a "glitch" in the system because it was showing the tickets at $159 and once Dustin had charged me $129 the amount should not have increased. He said he had to check with the tech team and that he or another supervisor would get back to me the next day, Monday (the day of the event). At this point I had already been on the phone with them for over an hour.

Today is Wednesday 6/18, and I have not heard from anyone (and I do have voice mail on the two phone numbers that I had provided him). So I called them again. I am finally transfered to a supervisor, Chris. (They do not give you a direct number, you have to start from the begining each time you call). I tell the story AGAIN! Chris is rude and condesending. He refuses to provide his last name. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he says there is no one higher than him at his call center. He said there is no phone number for executive complaints. He did provide me with the name of the executive officer (Chris T) and the mailing address of the corporate office. I will be sending them a letter. He again tells me "all sales are final, and their representatives are required to give the disclaimer that explains the charges, so I must have been informed of the cost of the tickets". I told him that Dustin had provided the total amount, but he did not tell me that the price per ticket had increased since the time he originally quoted me the $89 price, and that the cost per ticket was now $129, with a $12.90 fee per ticket. That amount was not mentioned during the entire call. Chris said he will initiate an investigation (I thought that was what Jacob was doing 3 days ago). Chris said that basically means he will speak to Dustin's manager.

So it boils down to my word against his since there appears to be no recording of this call. This is a scam. If I was quoted one price and accept it I should be charged that price. The cost should be loced in at that time. If it is not and the cost goes up, I need to be informed that the price per ticket has gone up. Just providing the total and expecting that the customer will do a quick calculation in their head to verify the total is correct is not fair. Please let me know if you can help me on this issue because I am not getting anywhere with Stubhub!!!!!

Since we did not purchase from the Mets but from a season ticket holder on stub hub, we were told we needed to contact them for a refund. I have called 3 times and have been given 3 different stories. The day after first guy told me they would email me a fedex label to send the tickets back, I would get a refund and could purchase tickets to an alternate event.

The Monday after second guy tells me that they have not decided how to handle this and when they did I would get an email. When I asked as to when a decision would be made how they will handle this, I was told to call back Tuesday.

So I call back and the next guy hangs up on me! I called again and Rebecca tells me I have to go to Mets.com to get another date. The problem with that is I have paid $270 bucks for 4th row seats which was over face value and there is not guarantee that I will get comparable seats from Mets.com so I have asked stub hub to honor their fan protect which states...and I quote

If an event is cancelled and will not occur at a later date, StubHub will send the Buyer an email offering the Buyer the opportunity to return their tickets within 2 weeks in order to receive a refund for the full cost of the tickets, including service fees and shipping and handling charges. If an event is postponed and StubHub is unable to obtain replacement tickets for the Buyer, StubHub will issue a refund after the Buyer returns the unused tickets to StubHub. All returned tickets must be received by StubHub within 2 weeks (14 calendar days) of the Buyer's receipt of notice from StubHub regarding eligibility for refund

So basically, the event was postponed, our tickets are not to be honored so stub hub should be refuding my money and they are giving me the run around.

I will never use stub hub again and I encourge others to do the same. They can't make money if we don't fall for their gimick

So I guess I am out the $277, my boyfreinds birthday was ruined and the season ticket holder and stub hub made out on this deal! Sickens me!

My son purchased tickets to a Cardinals baseball game on April 16th, 2008 using my debit card, with my permission. Then on May 08, 2008 he logged on to their website and attempted to purchase tickets to the May 13th Cardinals game, which his girlfriend was purchasing on her credit card as a birthday gift to him. Their system automatically recalled all the previous billing information from my debit card and defaulted to it. BEFORE HE CONFIRMED THE ORDER, he edited the billing information to charge her credit card.

Now, both of us have been charged $125.00, and they are sending us 4 tickets when he clearly only requested 2. I called them within an hour of the transaction only to be told that since the orders are both confirmed the only thing we can do is try to resell the first 2 tickets. We will never use this company again, and I caution anyone from using them or giving them any financial information.

I purchased tickets through StubHub for the Red Sox/Baltimore game for 5/31. The tickets cost me $130 each plus a commission of about $22. Since I am not from Baltimore I wasn't aware of the ticket prices but never imagined that any broker would allow people to sell a product under their name for 4 times its value. I am abslolutley sickened and appalled that StubHub, as a business, would allow anyone to take advantage of innocent consumers this way. I understand that individual people advertise on StubHub but they should have some responsibility to it since they take a good size commission out of the sales. Any help you can giveme is very much appreciated.

I received a response to my email, which was similar in content to the one I wrote here, and their reply was that individual people sell their products on StubHub and althought their hope is that people will be reasonable, they have no obligation to what it sells. It went on to say that the tickets are non-negotiable and non-refundable.

I purchased two tickets for my birthday to the Jersey Boys in Seattle at $217 plus extras (S&H and transfer fees) which amounted to approximately $250 per ticket. The original price for each individual ticket was $92.50. To ensure good seats, I placed a call to a Stubhub agent who contacted the vendor who guaranteed my seats were dead center and section H- 8 rows back from the center stage. To my shock, the seats were at the end of the row--far left and the farthest point of the theatre where many scenes of the performance were obscured. I feel cheated and duped by Stubhub and will never use them again. P.S.The scalpers outside the theatre were much more reasonable and offered far better seats.

The performance was worth $92.50 but clearly not $250 given the way we had to crane our necks to view the musical. Specific parts of the musical were obscured due to the seating being so far right of the stage. In addition, we were certainly not 8 rows back but in fact there were several rows of press box seats which made us farther from the stage--at least 20 rows from the stage. I cannot believe this outfit is allowed to operate given the deception of the vendors. I repeat the exact words to me were "dead center seats".

We overpaid on these tickets because we intended it to be a gift to be given within a week of purchase. We are presently in dispute via our Visa card. We did receive the tickets and returned them by express mail. A few days prior to the event they were sent back to us from Stubhub by FedEx--no letter or documentation, just the tickets. I called StubHub customer service and was initially told that for some reason the package did not ship and local delivery would be set up. Customer service called back a short time later and told me that there was not time for local pickup. When I pushed them and mentioned that their website lists a local pickup site 3 blocks from the venue and that the ticket could also be sent to my home via courier, they admitted that the seller did not have the ticket. They refunded my money and gave me a coupon for a future purchase. StubHub's guarantee states that they will try to find a replacement ticket. No effort was made to find a replacement ticket in my case.

As I told StubHub, although I appreciated getting my money back and the coupon, this did not help my son who sat at home on New Years Eve while eight of his friends went to the concert. I may have gotten my money back, but nothing was done and no sensitivity was given to my son's disappointment with not being able to attend the show. I drove 3 hours from Nashville and called approximately 2 hours before kickoff to confirm their ticket pickup location. They said that it would be easy to find and very close to the Dome. I was unable to find the location based on their directions and when I attempted to call the phone service was tied up until well after kickoff. When I did finally get through, the representative attempted to help me find the location, but was unable to direct me there. I went up and down several streets giving her street names, but she did not seem to have adequate directions or knowledge of the city herself. I asked police officers and stadium officials for help finding the location. Even with the address and directions provided by StubHub they were unable to help. I paid $323 for two $75 tickets to a game that I never got to see.

When I inquired about a refund the self-proclaimed customer service oriented company told me that they could not help. They explained that they could not refund my money because the seller had already been paid. They did not comment on the share of the ticket price that they cleared from my purchase. Apparently the only entity in this situation who was not allowed to profit was myself. After two phone calls and questions about their fan protect guarantee, which were expertly dodged, I was offered $75 toward my next StubHub purchase. To make a long story short, I was eventually told the tickets would be sent on Jan 2, 2008 (3 days prior to the event).

Here it is Jan 2, 2008 and I was just called by StubHub that the exact tickets I purchased the seller does not have as they are will call only tickets. My feeling, they got a better price and so looked to substitute other tickets. The customer service person said I have 3 options, 1) section 6 on the floor row 11-not good for an 8 year old; 2) section 121 row c seats 1&2-which would be almost 2 sections over; 3) a refund.

I look at this as a typical bait & switch tactics which to my knowledge is illegal. Add this to the fact the transaction was over the internet and an interstate commerce transaction and I believe would fall under the U.S. Dept of Justice's (DOJ) Internet Fraud Division as well as that of the Federal Trade Commission's Interstate Commerce regulations. I hope that anyone who has had a similar experience with StubHub! will NEVER purchase tickets from them and spread the word, as well as not doing business with their parent company e-Bay. I ask all to file a complaint with the DOJ or at least view their web site at the following address: http://www.usdoj.gov/criminal/fraud/internet/

What Are The Major Types of Internet Fraud? (From the DOJ web site) In general, the same types of fraud schemes that have victimized consumers and investors for many years before the creation of the Internet are now appearing online (sometimes with particular refinements that are unique to Internet technology). With the explosive growth of the Internet, and e-commerce in particular, online criminals try to present fraudulent schemes in ways that look, as much as possible, like the goods and services that the vast majority of legitimate e-commerce merchants offer. In the process, they not only cause harm to consumers and investors, but also undermine consumer confidence in legitimate e-commerce and the Internet. Here are some of the major types of Internet fraud that law enforcement and regulatory authorities and consumer organizations are seeing: Auction and Retail Schemes Online. According to the Federal Trade Commission and Internet Fraud Watch, fraudulent schemes appearing on online auction sites are the most frequently reported form of Internet fraud. These schemes, and similar schemes for online retail goods, typically purport to offer high-value items - ranging from Cartier watches to computers to collectibles such as Beanie Babies - that are likely to attract many consumers. These schemes induce their victims to send money for the promised items, but then deliver nothing or only an item far less valuable than what was promised (e.g., counterfeit or altered goods).

Finally, after hours spent on the phone with them and several false promises, I was offered tickets in the 100 section and told they were comparable. Tickets in the end zone in the 100 section ARE NOT comparable. So finally, I agreed to just take my money back. However, they did not fulfill their guarantee, their customer service people were rude and unresponsive and it was by far the worst retail experience I've had to date.

Several hours of my own time, being out twice the amount I spent as I then purchased a second set of tickets on my own and am now waiting for refund from StubHub and LOTS of aggravation.

This online Company promises to refund ticket price if not delivered by the time of the event. Ticket was not delivered in time for the event. They did not cordinate or recontact as to what could be done in order to obtain a ticket on time. I had to track down where the ticket was and go out of my way by 40 miles to pick up at a Fed Ex office. The company made contact two days later to say they would send a coupon for $40. The ticket price was $100 and it was not delivered on time. It, according to their web site should have been refunded!

I ordered ticket by phone on July 18,2007, for the Baltimore Orioles game on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007. When placing the order I was warned that I may be paying over market value for the tickets. I was then given a breakdown of the cost of the tickets, commission, and Shipping charges for Fedex 2 day delivery. I accepted the charges. I was told I would get an email confirming the order.

I received the first email confirmin the order at 4:27 pm. That email confirmed my order and said I would receive a second email confirming that the seller has shipped your tickets (usually within 24-48 hours). The second email arrived at 4:35pm. It said and I quote again since the tickets for this event have not yet been printed and distributed they will be shipped to you as soon as the seller receives them. The second email then gave a ship date by Fedex 2 day of August 5, 2007. The second email is fraud and a lie. The baseball game is sold out. The tickets have been printed and distributed for months.

Second it is impossible to ship Fedex on Aug. 5 because it is a Sunday. I was NEVER told when I placed the order or in the first email that there may be a delay in shipping of almost 3 weeks. I ordered the tickets 3 weeks in advance so I would have plenty of time to receive them. Stubhub does not disclose important information to phone customers.

I called and complained and was told I was guaranteed delivery by game day. But thats not why I ordered 3 weekes in advance. I have to travel to get to the game. If I don't get the tickets, I am out hotel charges as well as ticket costs. Had I been told the tickets may not be shipped for weeks I would not have ordered them. Now I don't have tickets and can't get other ones because them won't cancel the sale. Patrick S., a supervisor, agreed the phone operators don't tell customers that the seller may not have the tickets in hand and that when you pay for Fedex 2 day shipping it is for the sellers benefit to ship it to you at the last minute not for you, the purchasers, convenience.

I am stuck. NO one at Stubhub will return calls as they said they would. All they will say is I SHOULD have known, and I SHOULD get the tickets by game day.

12.16.04 I decided to buy celtics for my stepson and his wife, I am not a fan and don't know what the tickets go for I typed in celtics tickets and clicked on STUBHUB, I purchased 2 tickets for 45.oo each, paid 9.00 fee and 995 fedex, for the 1.28.05 game (his birthday) I rec'd the tickets today, they are ten dollar tickets, Granted I did not read the disclaimer in my holiday rush, but isn't this basically scalping?? They refuse to take the tickets, back, and I have spent 108.00 and and humiliated to give ten dollar tickets as a special gift..

I am shocked that this is legal!! if it is, all the consumer protection agencies out there are not doing enough. Iif I went into boston and tried to sell those 10.00 tickets for 45.00 I would be arrested for scalping!!
