I liked that studying with StraighterLine was self-paced and there were no real homework assignments. It's just reading and you'd have to take the exams. I started a class with them, but I decided to cancel it. When I was taking the practice exam to prepare for the little quizzes, I didn’t do too good. It just wasn’t for me.

StraighterLine is accredited through my school. I’m studying midwifery and they were the ones that recommended it. I'm a mom who's schooling on my own at home for my bachelor's, and it's just really convenient. I love the professors, too. Plus, the material is great and I learned a lot.

StraighterLine was the second cheapest option and I am done with the courses that I had to do. I did the only three courses that were applicable to me at the time. It was straightforward. It was an online course and I just had the quizzes and the final exam. I had a good experience and I would recommend StraighterLine to my friends and family.

StraighterLine was simple along with the ProctorU. After everything was done, they got the transcripts in three days. So, it was easy. Prioritizing time in advance before I do anything else to study and indulge information is key to be successful as a student. I learned better in the morning so carving out time specifically for StraighterLine is something that I've learned to push into WGU as well. The only thing is I finished the course on the day that my billing cycle was and I still got billed for the whole billing cycle.

I needed StraighterLine for a quick online course and it did its job fine. I was able to log on and complete the course anytime that I needed 24 hours a day. I tried to listen to some of the pre-recorded stuff that was on there, and it was fine. But for my own learning style, I do best reading it and highlighting the important stuff, and then studying off of that. I'm a visual learner and not so much an auditory learner. I got to read it and write it. I could have done better had I put more effort and time into it and didn't space it out. The key to courses like StraighterLine is to study and take the test and get it done as quickly as possible. I stretched out my course for almost three months and I did it to get it done with. So, my outcome was very different than somebody who was looking to get a higher GPA.

StraighterLine was easy and user-friendly. I enjoyed it. I just needed one class and it was just reading then taking the quizzes and watching some lessons. They are simple and straightforward. I had to take another online course a while back but this was the first one that was like an actual class. StraighterLine got me to the next step for applying to nursing school. I recommended it to a few of my friends who are trying to get their undergrad degree and trying to go back to school.

The learning experience with StraighterLine was good. When you start, you don't understand a lot of things. But it is an online thing. You will need more information and help, and some of the people were good at explaining things when you call to have some clarifications. I had a hard time initially with the lab because I couldn't figure out how to proceed with some of the things. So, I had to keep calling so I could get more information. If they can meet you, it's a little bit easier for students, especially since a lot of this should’ve been done at the lab with a teacher. They send you all the materials and trying to get information on how to figure out how to do some of those things were hard. But eventually, once you get ahold of it, you understand the whole process and it becomes easy.

I've only done one course with StraighterLine, which was calculus, and there was content in the quizzes that was not in the video lectures. That was a little bit disappointing. It would be helpful to supplement the lectures from the particular course I did with the YouTube videos or Khan Academy videos, which are free. But other than that, it was a positive experience.

StraighterLine allowed me to finish my classes quickly and on my own time, which is great for someone who's busy. So, that helped me out a lot. I had a great experience but it sucked having to wait. I didn't know that you have to schedule 72 hours in advance for your finals. So, I was holding off studying and then, I was gonna take it. I wish that that was noted a little bit more before so I wouldn't think that I'm ready to take my final and then, I have to wait. Things could have been maybe a little bit more concise and there could have been a review or a study guide that was a little bit clearer that would go through each of the chapters and there would be a lot of information. Some of it was hard to weed out what was important.

The enrollment process was very easy. I picked the course, double-checked with my home advisor that I was allowed to take it and then paid for it. The person who was giving the instructions that I watched was very helpful. I enjoyed StraighterLine. It was very convenient during COVID after wasting paying for that course in college. It was a lot easier to do and it was very helpful that I could get it done in under one month. It was fast and I didn't have to do it through the school over break, which would have taken all of break.

It was a good experience with StraighterLine. Other than for college, it was my first time doing a full class that wasn't hybrid where you go in to class and then go back to do your online activities. I did not have to wait for an instructor to give out exams and I was able to do them on my own time. I was able to work while taking the online class. Some days, I wasn't able to get to anything at all. I was so busy with work that I wasn't able to study or do any of my exams and then some days, I was able to knock out three. So, the whole option of it being self-paced was helpful. I didn't use the resources of having a teacher there to ask questions but that would help too if needed. So, I would recommend to everybody to give StraighterLine a try.

Everything was great with StraighterLine. If I tried, I could finish a course in a few days, if not a week. It was a lifesaver. It’s a great opportunity if you're looking to save money and completing general courses or maybe other courses that other universities may require, especially if you're trying to do it at a fast pace. I transferred their credits to the university I'm going to right now and instead of graduating in two years, I just finished my last class at my university, so I'm graduating in October.

Everything was easy in terms of accessibility and process, except for the final exam. I would encourage students to read the material and learn from it. It’s a good tool and it’s extremely helpful. But StraighterLine should improve on the way that they try to connect the student with ProctorU. The way they do that process is a little bit different and they don't explain it as well. So, I had a little bit of trouble utilizing that tool.

The enrollment and getting my classes started at StraighterLine was fast and easy. I liked it. The classes were simple and easy to understand. It was the proctoring that stood out. It was cool because it was my first time experiencing that and the people were helping me out. The lessons were interactive and it was more helpful than going into the class for my part. So, I would prefer that.

StraighterLine is self-paced and self-taught, which was the reason I chose it. To be a successful student, you have to make sure you set time aside to study and you have to dedicate time and resources to reading and taking the quizzes. StraighterLine was super easy because it worked with my schedule. So, if someone's looking for classes that can work around what they're doing, then it's the way to go.

StraighterLine is a faster way to get some things accomplished. I had a timeline and I came in knowing what I wanted to do. I'm already enrolled with something and as a requirement, I needed some classes done before I can proceed with my course. I used the material that StraighterLine provided and did my thing. They're a straighter line to achieving more to getting to where you want to get to.

I already knew the courses that I had to take 'cause I went through and then matched my current school with the courses that StraighterLine was offering. I started taking courses from there to help with my graduation date. We are able to take all the assigned quizzes, and the final exams are monitored, so passing that and being able to transfer it over for credits was good in terms of the monetary aspect. It was more of what I was looking for. Straighterline offers the portal for students like me to be able to take courses that are within the degrees that I'm being offered. It definitely helped me become a successful student because it saved me. It also saved me over 10,000 worth of student loans. It would have cost me more if I had taken regular courses in school.

Enrolling with them was quick and easy. It worked out for me. Also, they were accessible. They made the program more difficult than it had to be, but other than that, the rest of the program was okay.

The StraighterLine support team always wrote back when I had issues or if I had to call and speak with someone. They were always able to help me with my needs. The classes are hard so I learned a lot. I liked that the course was flexible and that I could go at my own pace. When I'm finished with the courses, there are boxes asking “Do you wanna send your transcript?” and I can click "Send official transcript”. But they don't send the official transcript. StraighterLine called me saying that my school was requesting my official transcript. I told them that I requested them to send my official transcript. But I had to go back and do other stuff to make sure that my official transcript was sent. I had to send it myself through some ACE something.

They did a great job on fixing the issues.

Everything is very thorough. I like the fact that you kind of work at your own pace. It's a very affordable way to complete your degree. Overall, for anybody who is trying to limit their college debt, it's a great alternative. It's very affordable compared to what you would be paying in your traditional school.

With StraighterLine, I could work on my studies at my own pace and when I could. I also found that it was a lot easier for me to finish my whole class a lot quicker. Their process was extremely efficient with work and school on the side, so I would recommend them.

StraighterLine is a great resource. I like the flexibility of the online courses and their cost.

I spoke to someone to help me enroll and it was easy. The quality of the education was pretty good. Nice service and curriculum.

There were a lot of savings associated with going through StraighterLine. Also, I liked the self-paced study. It's good for a working professional. I've taken several courses through StraighterLine, and what I find is they offer no incentive to people who have already used the program before. So many times, I see emails, “Use code STL21 for $59 off of the course” or “Use this code for that,” and then when you try to do it, they don’t work. I actually called one time. They said, “Oh, well, you’ve already used StraighterLine. We use promotion to draw people in, not to give savings to students who are already in the program.” I stopped using them for a while after that because I was very disappointed in that.

I signed up for a class through here because I had a last-minute course requirement. Sign up was easy, transferring the transcript was easy, and completing the class rapidly was achievable. The website itself is not very user friendly, you have to click multiple places to get to your class and assignments within it. The proctor exam costs more, which isn't a fee disclosed signing when signing up but it is cheap. The proctor setting it a bit strange with a chat box and the proctor himself was changed during the middle of my final which was very distracting and then I was uncomfortable with having some new person watching me and that's how I spent the rest of my final so I just completed it as quickly as I possibly could.

I had a very good experience with Straighterline. It really helped me with my classes. Their site was very engaging in as far as maneuvering and finding questions and answers that I needed.

I appreciated my previous university's partnership with Straighterline. It is a great opportunity for college students to save money. There were a lot of choices in class and it was user-friendly to get set up. The customer service I got was good. But I switched universities and the one I switched to doesn't have a partnership with them.

I did a couple of classes through StraighterLine. My intentions were to set myself up for a scholarship with WGU. I like that I could take the classes at my own time and that I could work on my off days rather than having to go into a classroom setting. I knew what classes I needed to get done so I never had anyone reach out. The only problem I had with them was that some of the normal quizzes weren't a fair reflection of the final, nor were the study guide information. I had problems with the final correlating with the other information that I was told to study previously. That was frustrating. Because it has such a major effect on my grade, I expected it to follow more of the guidelines that were suggested. But other than that, it was great. To be successful as a student with StraighterLine, you need persistence and determination. As long as you put in the time and the work, then it's rewarding.

StraighterLine was recommended to me by my sister because she started some courses on there, and that was a good way of being able to obtain the courses I needed for my school. I came in knowing what courses I needed for school. I definitely appreciated the layout of the program. I did it at my own pace, which was very convenient for me because I do work a lot and I was going to school also. So, between the two, it really was very convenient for me. I have already recommended StraighterLine to a couple of colleagues of mine that are going to school and needed to take on some courses. I would tell others to go for it.

Straighterline's Calculus course was phenomenal, the help I received in the tutoring sessions was fantastic as well and so much help in explaining some few concepts that were difficult for me to understand. The proctoring for the final was amazing too. I would only advise on adding a little more material on chapter 15 Differential Equations. The lectures end with a "to be continued" and I was hoping for some examples. I went into the final with not understanding it because I found it hard to study about it elsewhere. Thanks for the opportunity!

StraighterLine, to me is one of the best institution to attend, they are there 24/7 to answer you when you call and are always on time. Thanks guys. More power to your elbow. And I hope you guys keep it up. In fact even my transcript was sent immediately I demanded for it. That was awesome.

Of all of the courses I've taken from a variety of sources, Straighterline was my favorite. The selection, material, prices, and customer service are excellent. I just wish there were more upper division courses, but otherwise, I loved my experience.

The courses were fine but the company is terrible. They treat you like a number. My courses were completed but I forgot to unsubscribe and it charged me. NO REFUND AVAILABLE. After 5 months of using it, I couldn’t get a refund but I could get a “credit” for future subscription. Absolutely terrible.

My math Class was much harder than I expected and the final exam test-taking was a disaster re technology. Very difficult and confusing to set up computer for proctoring. The final exam process is what would keep me from taking another class.

As a busy father and disabled veteran, I need the flexibility Straighterline provides. I was able to graduate from my undergraduate program with a 4.0 with Straighterline’s help, and subsequently completed the prerequisites for a Direct Entry Master of Nursing program in a matter of months instead of years. I can’t recommend enough!

I like that with StraighterLine you could complete your coursework at your own pace. It could also be pretty inexpensive compared to paying someone for the normal tuition.

The cost as well as how it's self-paced was appealing. I like how it was easy to follow along. The overall concept of how the curriculum is taught was a good thing for me because it was easy to understand the information. I was able to get through the classes at a decent rate. I was also able to comprehend the information, and I didn't have to try to keep going back to reread the material. I had a good experience with StraighterLine and I recommend it based on that. The only thing I didn’t like was some of those proctors for the exams forget all the scores. Other than that, it was fine.

I did 2 class with StraighterLine in order to register for CPA exam in Illinois, I really enjoyed the program and I gained a lot but it's very disappointing that the board (Illinois Board of Examiners) said they don't accept your program. In what way can you help so that my dreams of writing the exam will not be jeopardy.

When in a Nursing Program, you want to take as many course ahead of time, so you will not need to take them during the Nursing Program with other difficult courses. That was me! My name is Erika and I was told from my Nursing Advisor that I could take a course on Straighterline that would be transferred over as a credit, so that is what I did! Straighterline was the easiest thing! They make registering so easy and it is all self-paced! I enjoyed it so well, and even though it is all online, they make it super clear and easy for you, so you don't miss anything! When I went to take the final exam, which is proctored, I had no problems with it. A lady was on my computer via webcam, and was helping me through everything! I would take straighterline again in a heartbeat! Thank you straighterline for helping me achieve my goal fast, and easy!

Course was accurate and the online learning experience was good. Only difficulty was setting up the protocol exam. It took an hour for me to be able to start it due to protocol examiner unable to link to the exam and open it.

Straighterline as a whole is a really amazing education system and a great model, especially for those who are looking for prereqs or need one-off courses. I took Chemistry and that was REALLY tough as an online class but the videos, readings and lessons are really well laid out and they offer free tutoring as well. The only issue I had is with the final exam with Proctor U. I only have access to a Chromebook and even though I tested my equipment prior to the final and it was approved, I couldn't access the final and was on with tech support for 4 hours and had to pay to take my final the following day.

I put my education on hold because it became so expensive. Straighterline helped me get closer to my dream of getting my bachelor's degree. I will tell anyone, "Don't give up. Get straighterline because they make everything easy and convenient."

Great experience, I was able to take my remaining general education requirements while completing my semester at the same time. StraighterLine really helps students, and it is a great resource, definitely worth it and would recommend everyone to take advantage of straighter line if they are in a similar position.

I think it was not enough information when transferring credits to my school. I was really disappointed. I think that when I requested for a transcript it should have been sent officially not via a third party. I had to prolong my progress with the school and it’s not fair.

The college that I'm in sent me to StraighterLine to be able to do my prereq courses. I really appreciated the flexible hours and the ability to complete tasks at my own pace and time because I work three different jobs, so it's pretty crazy sometimes. Also, I appreciated that proctoring was 24 hours. There were a couple of times I had to take a test at 2:00 AM. And it's easy to find everything, which is really good, especially when you're exhausted and you don't remember where you put something. After I complete my degree at my current college, I'd go back to StraighterLine to work on the next thing that I wanna do.

A lot of people in my college that I'm gonna attend use StraighterLine for some of the prereqs and signing up with them is the easiest I’ve ever did. I like that you could do it at your own pace. You can go as fast as you want to. You don’t have to wait till the next module opens. You can work straight through the whole thing and get it done in a week, if you want, versus taking a month. It's awesome. However, there are no bachelor level classes. If they can offer upper level classes, like 300 level, that would be cool.

I had a really great experience with Straighterline. The main difficulty I had goes for everyone and that's you have to teach yourself. However, Straighterline does a great job at keeping things organized and having fantastic customer service. This platform is really for those who need that extra two or three classes as I did to get into a program or for summer classes that are a fraction of the price of any college or university. If you're motivated to get to the next step in your school or career, this is an incredible option. I wish I knew about several years ago when I was going to college the first time. I've recommended Straighterline every time I've talked to someone about my classes. I hope to take more classes in the future when I move onto more things. Thanks for a great experience!

StraighterLine allowed me to do classes at my own pace and also helped me in more ways than one. I must say there’s no words to express the appreciation I have from customer support to counselors. They are the best in my book!

Although this online course system was good. It is hard for working professionals and slow learners to take as there is a monthly charge of $99 until the course is complete. Which gets fairly unaffordable when the course needs to be stretched out for a year or more. It would be helpful if there was only a one time fee for enrollment to allow those to take the course at their own pace.

One of the best decisions I've ever made is to use StraighterLine. I did a deep dive into Google research and was looking for alternatives to a conventional college. I do a lot of research and that's one of the best things I've ever found. I'm a working professional and I coach and have a family life. Being busy, I said, “This was so convenient that I could do it at my own pace.” I thought they were amazing. It really helped me to meet my needs. For coaching, I needed 60 credits, and I now have over 60 college credits. It was such an easy process.

My uncle recommended StraighterLine. It's relatively affordable compared to a lot of other online schools or even local colleges and they have college accredited courses. You can do it on your own pace and time. I like them to a certain degree. I like the service they offer. It's great if you are a self-paced learner or if you're able to not really need an instructor. With StraighterLine, it was exclusively just the book and tests. There was no online instruction and you don't interact with any teachers, at least in the courses that I took. But when I called with basic customer support questions, the staff was friendly capable and nice.

I go to Strayer University and I was taking some courses that StraighterLine offered and transferring them over to finish my degree a little quicker. My instructors were great. The layout of the website was pretty easy to maneuver around. It’s pretty good. I liked that the I took the courses on my own pace. I could potentially start it and finish it within the same day if I wanted to. I didn't have to wait week to week. But I've been meaning to get in contact with StraighterLine because I saw that they were pulling the $99 to $100 from my bank account for three months. I think it was the subscription per month. I had to go in there and cancel it for them to not take any more money. So they got away with $300 or more than I anticipated ever spending with StraighterLine. I don't know if there's a way to dispute that because I wasn't active doing classes at that time.

I had a very positive experience with StraighterLine. I was able to get some of my prerequisite for school. I had to take a break due to my financial situation, but hope to come back to finish the rest of my coursework soon.

I was in Strayer University and I needed a couple of classes to speed up the process to graduate. My counselor talked to me about StraighterLine. The process at StraighterLine was great. The staff was in communication via email, or whenever I encounter any situation, problems and I called in, they always were able to help me. I also got a job right after I graduated.

I was applying for school and there were some prerequisites to meet the course. So I took the prerequisites at StraighterLine. Enrollment was extremely easy. I just put my information in and the payment information. Then I was set up and ready to go. I liked the self-pace aspect of it so I could study on my own as needed. If I had a new material, I can test out of it.

I have been going to StraighterLine for basic Gen Ed courses for months now. There were some unfortunate little things about the courses that I looked over, but when it came to exam resets was the worst. After the first few resets I had to have due to website issues on straighterline's end (they continuously claimed didn't exist) I had some internet issues of my own. I called in while having these issues and sometimes even took screenshots for proof. This last reset request was denied only due to other resets in the past, which were completely valid. They use the previous resets against me as an excuse not to reset my exam. And to add insult to injury I was told to study and not just retake the exams over and over, as if I enjoyed buying the course over and over. It was a rude comment and I am sure my account was flagged in some way to ensure I would not have any exams reset, which is discrimination.

They are going well and they are very easy to work with. If I ever had a question they would take the time and answer it for me. All the credits I need will transfer to another school so I can continue with my nursing school.

I took several courses through StraighterLine. The proctoring at the end of each course was sometimes difficult in regards to accessing the representative. Overall, this is a great way to work towards your college goals. The price is affordable and works with your own schedule.

Great programs, well presented, updated and excellent for working on your own. Support team is great and source material is up date. Personally this course was just as challenging as brick and mortar school. The overall experience we good and beneficial for working and traveling.

I was referred to StraighterLine by the University of Phoenix as somewhere to finish some of my electives. It's go at your own pace. It fits what I need to do. However, I just discontinued my service because I'm taking a couple of classes elsewhere. But then I need a couple of more from StraighterLine so I'll probably turn it back on this coming month or two.

My university, Colorado State University, recommended StraighterLine. I was missing quite a few of the requirements because my original degree is in Engineering. StraighterLine made it easy. I could just take the upper level classes at Colorado State and do the ones that are missing quickly and at a much lower cost. My classes were all online and self-paced. The ones that graded my assignments were more like TA's. They were very hit or miss. In one class, I had to send it back and go, "No, this is correct," and document it. It was sporadic. Some of them almost went crazy on marking everything they could find that was possibly wrong, according to them. But then, others were just like, "Yeah, that's good." Take the classes continually and don't take a break in the class. You have to keep going or you would forget what you learned in the last module. Keep up with it.

I go to National Louis and I heard about StraighterLine through them. I liked the flexibility and going on my own time scale. StraighterLine was convenient and easy to follow along. To be successful as a student, you should take the test right away so you’re not trying to remember what you just studied.

I started at Phoenix and I have finished out the whole course. I had 12 credits left to put towards the course. They gave me options and Straighterline was one of them. I said, "You know what? Let me try them. Let me go with them. Let me see." And they said, "Yeah. You'll be able to transfer your credits and everything." I said, "Okay, no problem." The reading, the access to the books, everything just ran smoothly. When I needed to call and ask questions, I had no problem getting in touch with somebody and getting the information that I needed, and they gave me the correct information. It was a good transition. I went online, took the credits, and that was it. The proctors were pretty good. It took me a while because I procrastinated. But at the end of it all, it went good.

I was amazed at the pricing of the courses on Straighterline. The website is easy to use and works well. It's a great way to get college credits quickly and affordably. I was very impressed and recommend this program for anyone!

I was supposed to graduate but I had some missing credits. The academic advising at St. Kate's told me to check out StraighterLine and I gave them a try. They were so helpful. I took a History course and that was kind of more independent, but the English course was amazing. I loved it. I got amazing feedback on my essays and assignments. I was really happy, and I learned a lot. I thought my English was terrible, but my writing seemed to be okay. The turnaround time for submitting an essay was about 2 or 3 days and that's a good timeframe. Everything is good with StraighterLine. I’m all done with my courses. I transferred all my classes and finished up my degree at my main college. However, I don't think St. Kate's is taking StraighterLine anymore. They stopped taking it after 2018.

I need it cheap and I needed an extra credit to graduate early, so I just used StraighterLine. It was much easier than taking classes at my school. The only thing that is frustrating is I have sent multiple transcripts, but I haven't gotten the information that they were received. But besides that, it was a good and informative course. I enjoyed using StraighterLine. It was very helpful to me, for what I needed. I know a lot of people who use it. It's very affordable for college students and it helps a lot of students graduate early.

StraighterLine was recommended to me by one of my instructors when I was going for my LVN. I like the fact that there’s no contract and that students go as fast or as slow as they can. The enrollment was really easy. And every time I called for any issue, the reps were really friendly and they had knowledge of what they were doing, but it was always somebody different. It’s a great staff, but I do not know their names. Also, it would be nice if they have a curriculum set up for classes that people might need so they're not taking classes that they don’t need. I needed help with knowing which classes would help me towards my RN. But it’s different from state to state or college to college since not all of them accept their credits.

StraighterLine is great and I love it. I had a lot going on at home and I wasn't able to meet specific deadlines for traditional college classes, so I was trying to get some credits where I can work at my own pace. I already had probably 70 credit hours already, so I already knew the specific area of study I needed and I didn't have an issue the whole time.

I just rather be in a classroom with in person instructors. It feels more hands on. I feel that enthusiasm when I’m close to the instructor. I feel more comfortable and confident. Remote learning has its perks but it leaves that desire to be around peers. The one enhancement that could be made is if they added 3D feature. This would for me add dimensions to keep focus. I know innovations are a process but I like to be comfortable.

There is so much that I like and appreciate about Straight-line. I can see how it benefits so many students, and for many, might be one of their only options to complete classes. Students with hectic work schedules, small budgets, and a lack of stability will find this online-school to be a fortress for their futures. I think if a person has enough self-motivation, time, and willpower that they can succeed and thrive in this school.

I found StraighterLine from Googling colleges that don't have a prerequisite to take college algebra. The enrollment was very smooth and easy. They all did an awesome job and was very patient. Also, the classes are self-paced, which is another thing that I loved about it. It was all-around great.

I took the StraighterLine classes. The cost was a big factor in enrolling with them. I liked that I could do the courses on my own time. I’ve finished, did what I had to do, and hopefully, my transcripts were sent.

I needed Human Anatomy and Physiology I &II class plus Lab to finalize my PharmD prerequisites and I was able to fulfill my requirements Thanks to StraighterLine. I love working online and great customer services. Whenever I had a question I called and representatives were so nice and very helpful. I hadn't take a all online course in years and straighterline made it easy. StraighterLine doesn't have timeline on assignments plus you can jump from systems. It was awesome. No Time Line but you must remember that you get charge a monthly fee until you finish. Nevertheless I am proud to write I got accepted to PharmD program. Thanks StraighterLine.

It took me a bit to realize there was a syllabus (of sorts) available in the course I was taking. Once I discovered that, I was able to be much more structured in my daily study and was making the progress I desired.

They make you pay $8-$12 for the final exam. If you somehow get kicked off the page you have to pay again $12. I’m not too happy with StraighterLine. I will not be taking any more courses. It’s too costly.

I really liked StraighterLine class structure because I did my class on my own time and felt no rush to complete. The student advisors were very helpful anytime I called. I would recommend this to everyone. Having the ability to work at home and on your own time during COVID-19 is the best thing. The final exam at the end is proctored which is very easy to book.

American Gov, American History I, American History II. I was able to take three courses through Straighterline that I have transferred to Thomas Edison State University. I enjoyed taking these courses and scored well on each of these, however it was a bit difficult to gauge how well I was doing based on how few quizzes that there were in each section. I have and will continue to recommend Straighterline as a product for my friends and family.

Microbiology and intro. To stats. I loved it but I wasn't a huge fan of the proctoring. I get why you have to do it, but it made me feel uncomfortable knowing someone was watching me through a camera. Other than that, I loved that it was work at your own pace.

So far my experience at Straighterline has been great. I am very happy. I have been able to complete a few classes in a short amount of time. I work full time and am a mom so I love that it truly is a work at your own pace. I also LOVE the cost. I am saving so much money!

StraighterLine was offered as an option through the college that I attended. I liked the price, its accessibility and the flexible schedule. Also, it’s asynchronous. I didn’t ever have to reach out for tutors but I know that they were available. The test out process was being proctored but it’s a little bit clunky. There was one time where a proctor got canceled but I just rescheduled it and did it. Then, it worked the second time. StraighterLine could improve on an updated interface as far as the textbooks and some more technical things. I’m a technical, detailed person and I work as a software developer professionally, so I pay attention to that kinda stuff.

The University of Texas at Austin recommended StraighterLine for a prereq for a program I started. Everything's good with StraighterLine, so far. I finished all my classes and I've sent my transcript. It was a good experience overall. I liked the content and being able to work at my own pace. I did need to contact some grading representatives. But they still took care of what I needed. I learned a lot. To be successful, definitely read the textbooks that they give, and stay on top of your work so you don't let it slip away.

I heard about StraighterLine through the University of Phoenix. I only had a couple of classes left to finish. With StraighterLine, I like that I can do the classes on my own time.

I go to Touro College and I needed an extra undergraduate Math course that I was missing from my bachelor's degree. So, Touro College recommended Straighterline to me. I looked at the courses and I was able to do the College Algebra through there as an undergraduate course, so I decided to go with that. I liked that I was able to work at my own pace as opposed to having to work day-to-day. When I think of classes, I think of just assignments being posted and we have to follow their schedule. But I liked that we were able to work on our own time and pace. That was appealing to me. Also, the price was really affordable compared to most websites and schools. Straighterline offers tutoring sessions and they can pair you with somebody that can help you if you're struggling. That would be pretty helpful.

I’m glad I found these classes, the access to them was incredibly easy. Looking back I remember the hardest part about the class was it pretty much was self driven. You needed to read the book in order to answer the test questions correctly.

StraighterLine can get me closer to my degree. I heard about them through Strayer University. I came in knowing the courses I needed to take and I was able to work at my own pace. It was a satisfying experience.

I'm trying to finish school a little bit earlier. I heard about StraighterLine through my school, Strayer University. It was advertised online on our student portal. As far as the expenses are concerned, StraighterLine was much cheaper than to actually pay for the class through my school. If I could kill two birds with one stone, why not try to do that.

BIO 101. Tough but fun course. Lots of reading and exams but if you work at a steady pace it will get you a passing grade. Labs can be tough and tedious but you will learn something taking this course. Be prepared to work!

StraighterLine's price was something that caught my attention. It also seemed like they had every course that I needed to take so I can get through my degree quicker. I like the program. My only concern was I took the proctored test in Philosophy but everything that I studied and every test up until then didn't prepare me for the final exam because the questions weren't the same. They weren't in the same type of reference of material. That kind of threw me off. I was kinda stressed taking it.

I appreciated the ease of completing the course, the inexpensive cost and the quick transfer of credit. I think the course could’ve been taught better though. The quizzes and exams were solely based off the textbook and were extremely detailed. Short of memorizing the book, I don’t think it’s possible to test well. The lessons felt like they served no purpose except to introduce the topic.

StraighterLine was something I was excited to use and thought it would be just what I needed to get through my classes quickly and affordably. I decided to use the free trial, so I could get through a few days free before enrolling because you pay for the time needed. The very first quiz that I took on plagiarism, I got two questions wrong. Straighter line thinks that if you are caught plagiarizing, you can just use the excuses "I didn't know" or "it was a mistake" and that it is okay for you to take information from another student's paper and not cite it or quote it. I attempted to talk to a StraighterLine representative about these errors and was transferred multiple times but given no answers.

I first heard about StraighterLine through my current university that I was attending in regards to substituting the StraighterLine courses that were a lot more inexpensive with paying full price at Liberty. Once I looked at their website and I looked at the platform in terms of how the classes were conducted, I thought it was the best approach. It was self-paced, meaning that I didn't have to check into a class. And there weren’t assignments that would be due that would kind of impede working full-time and doing other things. It was just knowing that I had to read and be prepared for the quizzes and tests. That made it very appealing.

I found out about StraighterLine from a friend from the university I go to. He took a few online credit courses already. My university has a site on StraighterLine that tells me which classes to transfer over to the college automatically as certain credits, and I needed a certain class for my science elective so that’s why I took the class that I took. When I needed to get transferred, I sent things over electronically because of the COVID-19. And then they just spoke to me over the phone and told me to get it done, and the next thing I know, I had an email from my college saying they received the transcript. The work at your own pace is really good. That was one of the main things that I liked, as well as having the books actually come with some of the classes.

A lot of different people were talking about how good StraighterLine was and how easy it was for them to transfer in. I took my courses. I signed up for the proctor. There was this one person that helped with getting the class added for me. Anytime I had to reach out, they were helpful. Do it at your pace. As a mother and a wife and someone that works a full-time job, it was very nice to be able to have deadlines. And the books were included. They weren’t expensive. So, it was very nice to have that option.

The cost for transferable college credits was very reasonable at StraighterLine. It was an incredible value. The admissions team at Western Governors University directed me to them and advised me to use StraighterLine's curriculum for the healthcare management degree program. I took a lot of classes there and the module on StraighterLine matched up pretty well with the textbooks. I really believe in doing the online videos and the modules and then skimming the textbooks. That was a very time-efficient way to do it versus reading every chapter in the textbook and taking notes. That can really increase your time for studying for a class. That was how I did it at Straighterline and I did pretty well.

StraighterLine is a great website to take online classes on for transfer credits. It has saved me thousands of dollars, and you can take the course completely at your own pace! If you want to take it slow you can, or if you want to get the class over with quickly you can do that too!

Chemistry, Microbiology, Physiology Etc. Overall my experience was very good. All my class contact was well understood. It didn’t take me too long to finish all my classes, Unlike when I was taking the classes at community College it’s me four months to finish one subjects. Also if I have an issue with any Subject as soon as I them somebody will be on the line to walk me through it.

Personal Finance. This was a great resource during tough financial times. There was a lot of great information provided in this course. The sign up was easy and the instructions for the course were very user friendly. I think it is great that the course fee includes the cost of the book.

I loved the flexibility to complete the class at your own pace. The pricing is good. This is great for those that need to complete credits to transfer into a program at another university. I would recommend this school to others.

The classes are self paced and the instructor are easy to reach. I recommend taking 1 or 2 at a time, then wait for a coupon and take 2 more. Repeat until done. The courses transferred seamlessly to my partner university.

My only problem was my first attempt for sending my transcripts. The transcripts never went to the university. I went back and forth with my advisor and After the 3rd time it finally went through. I emailed Straighterline and the response time was great. They got back to me in no time.

Macroeconomics. It was tough but the self-paced course was ideal for me. Economics is never an easy subject (for me) so I appreciated all the quizzes throughout. I liked that I could buckle down and really focus on this course exclusively until I got it done.

A friend told me about her experience with StraighterLine. I decided to take some classes there and I really liked how it was convenient. Everything was straightforward and nothing was complicated. Everybody there was helpful. I really recommend them.

The course itself was very in-depth because I read the chapters. However the “slides” that were available for review for chapters were very basic, compared to how I depth the chapters were. The exams while open book didn’t seem very challenging, perhaps a shorter amount of time for exams since they are open book.

I heard about StraighterLine through my school. I did not know that my school accepted credits from them for low prices. I then took Intro to Religion and Intro to Sociology with them. There was a module and it was self-paced. It was easy to navigate and it was usable. I've finished already. I, however, had a little rough time with them in the past, and most of it fell on me a little bit. But I had an experience with them charging me with the billing cycle even though I was done with them. They were hard to get through, but they were compliant about giving me a refund. Overall, StraighterLine has been nothing but a blessing to me.

I’m a mother of three and I work full-time. So it’s kind of hard going to school. StraighterLine is online and you can do it during the times that you can. So it’s a really good thing. I only had a problem with my microbiology. The test was too long. Each section was too long for me to help me memorize everything. It was like three chapters in one test. They should make a small test if I read a chapter. Other than that, everything was good.

College Algebra includes access to the required textbook, but a full 50% of the practice questions (and there are a lot of them!) are missing. There is no way for you to know if you are making progress. Know what Straighterline said? That it is "common practice" for textbooks to be missing this. No, it is not. I am a former college lecturer, have two graduate degrees, and it is not common practice. At all. And Straighterline refuses to refund the fees, despite the fact that it was less than 48 hours since I initially signed up. For math? Avoid this site.

I completed eleven courses through StraighterLine. My advice, take only one course through StraighterLine if needed to be accepted at WGU. There is virtually no support. I needed assistance understanding which math courses transferred to WGU. I'd never had any issues understanding the transfer guidelines, but the math courses were extremely convoluted. I contacted StraighterLine for help. The person I spoke with was beyond rude, unprofessional, and condescending. I saved the transcript and contacted the administration. I never heard anything back from anyone. My question was never answered.

I first heard about StraighterLine through my school and I found out that the credits transferred over from StraighterLine was a good way to get more credits. I took microeconomics, macroeconomics, and business communication. Everything was cool with the staff and instructors. If I needed anything, they were a lot of help. I have finished with everything now and the experience was good.

I needed one more credit to graduate college after I had already walked. I needed to do it through the summer and I was told, “Well, you don’t have a full load coming back in the fall.” But they still let me walk. I was trying to get it done super fast and the lady in the office said, “Oh, there’s this website,” and told me about StraighterLine. I went there and I needed a Public Speaking credit but they switched it up. My interactions with the staff at StraighterLine were on the phone, but everything was good. It was clear-cut. I had a good experience and it was cool. I’m surprised there aren't more things like that, but it’s definitely a good tool for people to use to get the credits that they need. It helps us move a little bit faster. So, I’ve also recommended it to a few people. I coach JUCO football and I keep the extra credits, and I told others that StraighterLine is a good place to go.

I looked for an online class and I went with StraighterLine because of the availability. I took courses on EMP 2, Microbiology, and Nutrition. Every time I called, one of the staff was always available. Everything was okay and their price is cheap. But 'cause they are online, a lot of colleges won't accept them. So, if they can reach out to try to partner with other colleges, then more people would be willing to take the classes.

I took the course through StraighterLine for it was a course that I needed, and because of the cost and the speed where I could work at my own pace. I tend to move a little quicker than regular classes do. Also, it was accepted at so many places for the credit so it worked out. I took one class for a credit. I had signed up for Microbiology and Physics.

I was rounding up credits before my start with Capella to maximize my savings. I was able to complete a great deal of college credit quickly and at a low cost. I would highly recommend StraighterLine. I only called customer service once and I was able to get a very nice person on the phone very quickly.

My experience with StraighterLine was awesome and I really enjoyed it. I work at Liberty University, so I heard about them through transfer students and students who had taken those classes. I also enrolled at StraighterLine and took a total of 27 hours, which was quite a few. Still, I was able to work at my own pace through full-time work and being able to do it just whenever I had time available. And since I also have online experience by working with Liberty, I knew how to get it all done without any help.

My adviser at my college I was going to told me about StraighterLine and she recommended me to take it. That way, I could take both MS 1 and 2 within one semester 'cause we can't do it like that if we actually take it at the school. So, I enrolled at StraighterLine. And when I would call in with the advisers, they will help me out a lot.

I really like the flexibility and the online aspect of StraighterLine ‘cause I work full-time. I heard about them through Western Governors School and I enrolled 3 courses with them, but I still haven't finished one. One course is health, like nutrition, and then I took history, and I was taking English Comp 1. It’s a really good program and my interactions with the staff and instructors were really good too. If you need to take your prereqs, it’s really easy.

My sister may have taken a course from StraighterLine a few years ago and she was the one who told me about them. I was already going through a four-year college and I was trying to finish my degree faster. And through StraighterLine, I could do it when our school classes were on break. It was nice that I could do it at my own pace, and then if something came up, I could stop it if I need to. I already had a specific study and I took 3 classes. One of them was philosophy, and the exams were really easy and nice. I’ve taken 2 philosophy classes in high school so I had a base for it, but then I got to the final and it seems none of the material on the other exams were related to the final. It made it really difficult. I also took environmental science, and it was the opposite. I was expecting it was gonna be like Philosophy so I studied a little bit more. And then the final ended up being really nice and related to the material well.

StraighterLine is 100% online, which appealed to me and I knew what I wanted when I went into it.

I like the easy access of StraighterLine. The instructors are really nice and very helpful as well. It's a good quality learning if you stay on the ball, if you're looking for an online course. It's easy to stay motivated, but some people if they're doing an online course, they tend to forget about it. They should do their reading on their own and they'll just be fine.

My college adviser told me about StraighterLine. I knew my area of study and StraighterLine was a good help for getting through the program I was in. It was kind of an established relationship. It was really easy to transfer the credits and that was the most appealing aspect aside from the price. StraighterLine was a nice way to supplement my on-campus education without kinda breaking the bank. It helped me expedite my graduation and not have to do another part-time semester. It was all good. But you gotta stay on top of it and not do everything all at the last minute. You should definitely have a schedule set for yourself. It's all kinda self-motivated.

I truly believe that the testing could have been a little better. Upon receiving my course. I was very excited because I love history, but for some reason, the testing was hard for me. I took the class to get ready for Math 1010, unfortunately my school didn't accept the credits. I knew it might be a possibility, however I figured after I took the course I could take the placement test at my school. My placement was exactly the same as it was before the StraighterLine course. It was a waste of money.

I've been to 3 other colleges before and now am at Strayer University but taking one class at Straighterline - English Composition II - to transfer to Strayer University. Everything has been fine up until they had you write essays. The problem therein is that their essay guidelines are ambiguous though they do state what you should cover in the essays. Furthermore, the grading rubric is non-existent, meaning that, unlike with Strayer, I don't know exactly how they are determining grading for your essays. When the person graded my last essay, there were no notes or comments left by them, therefore I don't know what my errors are. Also, the essay topics are weird - a critique of another person's critique of a book.

I was googling and looking for alternative ways to do StraighterLine's general education courses, and I found out my school had a partnership with them. And then I went to my school to confirm and make sure that this was true. Once I got in StraighterLine and start doing courses, it’s quicker. You eliminate all of the other fluff that you have to go through when you’re doing schoolwork. StraighterLine has quality courses, and to me, they have almost more quality than the school that I go to. And they’re really following the curriculum that you need to do in order to learn the courses. They also use quality books. If I needed help, I utilize the tutoring service that they have. I had to call to ask where I should click to get to it, but all the stuff was self-explanatory on the site. They have a good curriculum, and they’re using the right books. I have my subscription on hold, but I plan on going back there to finish three more courses.

With StraighterLine, I could go at my own pace and it was faster. I knew what I needed to take and a staff member helped me with transferring my credits. To succeed at StraighterLine, you have to read the material and study it. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I wanted to graduate at a certain time, but I could only enroll in so many courses at one time because of my financial aid at Strayer University. I called my student adviser and asked her about credits that I could earn while taking college credits and they told me that they were partnered with StraighterLine. They sent me a list of courses that I still needed to take to complete my degree, and then they sent me the link for the StraighterLine equivalent. I had an even amount of numbers I could take at Strayer, but there was one course that didn’t fall in that amount, so I took it through StraighterLine. It was one way to earn college credit and I could work at my own pace instead of the amounts I needed, which was appealing.

My experience was pleasant and I was able to use StraighterLine to get me to my next academic stepping stone. The course was very easy to navigate and the material you are tested on is relevant. If I had to take another course to get into WGU it would be with StraighterLine.

Great courses. I learned a lot and it was definitely worth the time spent studying. Great way to earn college credit with less time spent as opposed to traditional schooling. I look forward to taking more classes in the future with Straighterline.

I was going to University of Phoenix and needed courses 'cause I was trying to graduate earlier. The University was referred to two different providers, Sophia and StraighterLine. StraighterLine wasn't as expensive as Sophia and I called them to get a better understanding of how everything worked. Their reps were helpful in explaining the process stuff to me. I then went online and purchased the classes I needed.

Though I wanted it to be great, the videos were helpful and I was hoping the credit transfer for ACE would work. According to Columbia College, there seems to be a glitch with me--As I asked why it didn't transfer, the best they could give me was if anybody had gotten credit for this specific class before they would give me credit, otherwise--NO!

Intro to Religion. I liked the convenience of this class and its price as well. The subject matter was not my favorite. I would have rathered it be an intro to Christianity, I was surprised that this day in age people in the world believed in elephant nosed, 6 armed god yet people that believe in Jesus are ridiculed and hated. This course was interesting in the variety of faiths covered.

I enjoyed both courses. However, the final exams did not reflect the questions on the previous tests, which I used as study material. Also, please consider allowing students to use handwritten or typed notes for their final exam. I did poorly on both finals expecting to be able to use my notes.

The Proctor was excellent. The course was very interesting and informative. Overall, an excellent experience. Will definitely recommend to friends. I also very much appreciated the quiz system, post each chapter. It helped review each topic clearly before attempting the final exam. The Proctor was thorough, intelligent and helpful, I was extremely comfortable writing the exam.

The class quizzes and exams had typos so if you answered what was asked it was still wrong. They refused to correct it or issue a refund for the typo ridden test. The lesson material is worthless. I wouldn't recommend taking one of their classes. I can't imagine a real college taking these classes as credits.

My school right now gave me courses and told me to take some of it from StraighterLine. I've known StraighterLine a long time. They're really good. When I call them, they're really comprehensive. They give you the time and the answer. They take time to explain everything, and it's like they're willing to help me in anything that I need. There was a time the answer that I was supposed to send was the wrong answer. I called them and they told me there was no problem and that they were gonna try to fix that and let me take it back.

I was in undergrad at the time and I was planning on taking some summer classes so that I could finish my degree a year early. And that was when StraighterLine was recommended to be a cheaper way to take the same classes that I already needed to take. I was able to do the classes at my own pace. I would’ve had to take the other classes in about eight weeks each, but I was able to get the StraighterLine classes done in around a week. It’s a lot faster. I knew that I only had two classes that I needed to take in. So, I just transferred for those two and made sure that my university would accept them. I was able to complete most of the coursework without any issues on my own.

I had a great experience with StraighterLine. I'm very happy with them. I had to cancel for a period of time, but I will be starting again - when my life allows. I'm postponing for the time being but not forever.

It was an amazing experience. I loved the fact that I could go at my own pace and the quick response if I had a question. When life happened and I had to take two weeks off, Straighter Line checked on me every few days. It was encouraging to know that someone was trying to ensure I met my goal of completing the course in a timely fashion.

I needed some electives to take back to University of Maryland and I tried to take advantage of the online program from StraighterLine ’cause I could do it at my own pace. But they could do better with their proctoring. I had to take one exam and they said that I'd have to take a picture of the environment to make sure that nobody is cheating. They said that the picture I was trying to take wasn't right. I'm not very good with my phone. I told the proctor that I wouldn't mind moving my desktop computer so they could scan my environment. I also almost told him that I wouldn't take the exam anymore but I needed the degree, so I had to take it. It took almost an hour before I could even take the exam after all the drama. There's got to be a better way to make it so that the person taking the exam is not anxious. Other than that, their material is very informative and with the last class that I'm doing, I've really learned a lot with it. I'll recommend them to a friend.

I applied for the university and after that some of my friends went to the StraighterLine to save their money. They studied online for the English classes. This is my first time to study online and it’s hard for me. StraighterLine has the course outlined for me. I study only the English class, so it means I have to write a lot. But the assignment on some of the topics are hard to write. It has Frankenstein but under international student. I heard of Frankenstein, but I never read it before. So I have to read and spend a lot of time. I also have to pay for the English for more than three months because I have to read all of them. Other than that, the quality is a bit better than in the classroom. You have to find an available time, but you can choose your time. Also, I just follow the instruction in the course and check when the instructions there were revised already and they'd show me what my mistake was in the assignment. I will recommend StraighterLine.

I have taken A+P in military, vocational school, and community college. Having expired the time limit it became necessary to take it again to begin a new profession. The text book was very disorganized. There are no quizzes, just exams. Too much information required for one exam. It really should have been broken down into smaller segments. I worked hard, but after the first two chapter exams I called it quits. It wasn't worth the effort to invest my energies only to get results that suggest mediocrity. I am sure the investment of my energies would produce better results if applied elsewhere.

I needed to take the summer class. With StraighterLine, I had to do everything at my own pace. It was nice. My experience was good. It only had two of my classes. That's all I needed. Overall, it's a great program. People can learn a lot from it and be able to manage their time by working on their schoolwork. There is no specific deadline for you to meet, which is good in most cases. That way, you can manage your time.

With StraighterLine, I like that the classes were where I could get through my degree faster than waiting and taking two classes with Strayer. I can go to StraighterLine and take classes, and be finished much quicker. At one point you run out of financial aid with Strayer, and then you have to pay for those courses out-of-pocket. If I would’ve taken all the elective classes, I would have been coming out-of-pocket more with the major classes. StraighterLine choose those courses, but I would be coming out-of-pocket. So at StraighterLine, it was faster. It was cheaper.

I’d worked with my guidance counselor to figure out which ones would be best to meet my criteria for getting my bachelor’s. StraighterLine was a cheaper and better option. I already have recommended StraighterLine to family and friends.

Tried the online Statistic course. I tried it for a long period of time - while working. For me, this particular course is set up in a way that was too difficult to maneuver and follow. You have to navigate to so many different places and I personally lost my train of thought in finding it. I feel like, at least for this course, I would benefit from a live class. I've taken a number of online courses during my college career and really like the format.

Straighterline is a fantastic alternative for those seeking affordable and fast college credit transfers. I purchased a subscription and General Calculus 1 and within a month had my transcript sent to my school. I would use it again in a heartbeat if I needed more credits.

I am studying accounting and needed to complete the STATS. I googled how to get a prerequisite for STATS online, and I came across an ad for StraighterLine. I liked that it was the cheapest and the most flexible option. It was self-paced, and also there was a promotion. I did everything online, and the material is great. There's a lot of material though. It's too much. Sometimes I feel like, "Would it be possible to cut some content?" It's a subscription fee, and my goal was to complete it under 30 days to not get charged again because it was a short class. I work full time, and 30 days was challenging. I did it, but it was challenging. Still, it was a great experience.

Thank you very much to ** for taking care of this issue. I appreciate the communication and time that went into finding a resolution. Considering such, my experience with Straighterline feels much more pleasant.

I have bought a few different course through this vendor. My first few experiences were easy enough, but the trouble started not soon after. You see, I enrolled in the college algebra and expected it to go smoothly. It was anything, but that. The tests for this course have several questions in which you have to manually input your answers. I was fine with that. That was until I noticed my answers were seemingly being deleted or removed. I spent countless hours studying for this exam for me to fail due to answers not being properly saved or "magically" disappearing into thin air.

The content is super old and out of date. The course I took didn't teach us how to solve any problems. Instead it explained why. Got on support to get help and they told me to look it up on YouTube. SMH.

I love the module and how convenient it was to study at any time. The only suggestion is to add simple explanation in regard to solving a problem. Due to this class, I was able to graduate with my Associate Degree :). I pass the class with a C.

I had to take 8 courses and I finished in 2 months. I started May 1st and I finished June 28! It was a very positive experience and I would recommend it for anyone who needs to take some courses to finish their degree. This course was a fantastic way to quickly and effectively learn the material to satisfy a Calculus requirement for admission to WGU's computer science program. Professor ** did a great job of explaining the concepts and walking through difficult problems.

I am taking their Chemistry course and over the past (almost) 2 months I have spent 3-4 hours a day studying the material. I consider myself a good learner as I already have a Bachelors degree and graduated with a 4.0. I just took my second quiz (there are 6 total and then a final) and it was EXTREMELY hard. I felt totally prepared going into the quiz but there was simply no way to do 25 equations in the hour and 15 minutes you are given. I can’t stress how much I have studied, reading each chapter twice and doing all the practice problems in the book (most of them twice!). I got at 80% on the quiz, but I need an A in the class to keep a scholarship. At this point I’m wishing I had not chosen StraighterLine. I am so disappointed in what feels like so much wasted time (and money).

It just a waste of money and they will not refund. Boss Mike is a fool. My experience was very regretful. They refused to submit my transcript and will charge me extra days. They will not refund my money when their service person told me otherwise. The school I took the transcript don't accept this and it fully garbage.

I was pursuing my business degree and I had finished all my core classes but I needed six electives. I ran out of financial aid money so I needed somewhere to take my additional 17 credits and StraighterLine had the courses that I needed. I also found the ease of the program appealing. I even found, after a while, that I can take more than one class at a time. I also like the fact that they had every class that I paid for on the dashboard and the interface made it very easy for me to go back and forth between classes.

I liked the affordability and flexibility offered by StraighterLine. I went with them and their website was really straightforward and clean. Everything’s put in front of me, and nothing’s really super-confusing. I used their service as an online source to view classes at school where it was really expensive. My professor for my sociology was good. He got me to think a bit more on an intricate level to make sociology an interesting subject. He made me think critically, not problem-wise but in a more emotional and scientific way.

StraighterLine was brought to my attention from Polk State College, and the prices appealed to me. You can finish a class for a lot lower price than the other online classes. I had to take one math class in the fall and then I took one in the spring on campus. The class with StraighterLine helped when I went in the springtime.

I had one single hour to take to graduate college and I took an anatomy and physiology lab through StraighterLine. The lab kit you have to purchase in addition to taking the class is super expensive and eScience labs doesn't work with StraighterLine. So if the lab kit happened to not include something that StraighterLine needed you to have, you were screwed. Also, I submitted my lab 1 which took probably 7 hours to complete, and instead of grading it, it was put on hold several times and no adviser was able to tell me why.

I had one gen ed left, and they wouldn’t accept any of my crap. StraighterLine would be the quickest, easiest way to do it, and it was. Bio 101 sucked to do in three days, but I ended up getting a 79 and I just needed to pass.

I skipped a course at my college, and in order to fulfill it in time for graduation, I had to do it through StraighterLine. I used the customer service chat window for the changing over to the American Credit Council, and they were really helpful. I took the Philosophy class and I enjoyed the simplicity of it. It was pretty easy to figure out. Of course, having an online class means you do it at your own time, which is pretty useful.

Going through StraighterLine was cheaper than going through an actual community college. I went with them and I liked how I could further my education in my own time. It's an easy way to finish my degree. I've told others that if they don't have the time to go to a community college, or they don't have a lot of money, StraighterLine is a good place to go.

Straighterline was extremely helpful and beneficial. Instead of having to drive 40 miles to school one way to take a college algebra course, I was able to do it online and get credit for it with my school. It not only saved me money, but time as well. I cant wait to find another course to take with StraighterLine.

I wanted to get a degree to be a registered nurse. A friend of mine told me about Straighterline and I enrolled since I can do it from home. I have five classes left for the whole prerequisite. I’m halfway done. The price is very reasonable, and the courses are very easy to understand. I can call anybody anytime, and I can chat online if I have any problems, so that really helped me.

I took statistics and religion with Straighterline, and I enjoyed it. My statistics class was very hard. I tried, and wasn't able to pass it. But the rest of them were great. It was so much easier to just test out. You just have to be organized and prepared. The professors were very helpful. Any time you had a question or anything, they were good.

There’s now a lot of demands going through university, and going through StraighterLine is less intense and it works better with my schedule because I’m trying to help my parents run the business and raise a family. It was a good experience and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I'd either go to a junior college to take my math class to get into a university or they said I could do StraighterLine. So, I did StraighterLine and I enjoyed it. Going there allows you to be on your own time. I work in the summertime, so it's nice that once I get off work, I could just sit on my computer and get homework done. I knew exactly what I needed to take, then I needed to take an extra couple of credits last time. I didn't get as good a grade on the ending test as I wanted, but that's just lack of studying.

My academic counselor at Phoenix told me what classes I needed to take at StraighterLine and I already knew what I was picking. The courses were cheaper and I could do it on my own. I liked that it’s at my own pace. If I had a question, somebody was always there to answer. If you're trying to save cost, it's the perfect school and there is no one there to rush you. You don't have to feel like you're under pressure to get the course done. I'm currently taking a class now and I have two more to take.

I work a lot in construction. The University of Phoenix is set up like a true classroom which didn't really work for me since I needed something with more flexible dates. They promoted the idea of doing StraighterLine and they walked me through what classes I would need to satisfy my degree. StraighterLine was a teach myself type of thing. Eventually, I got tired of seeing $100 coming out of my account every month, so that was pretty good motivation to finish schooling there. Also, my transcripts were supposed to have been sent to the University of Phoenix but they still have not gotten them. Still, I liked going at my own pace with StraighterLine.

StraighterLine is affordable and I really like the outline of the website. It's very easy to maneuver. The classes I took were online and I had to make sure I created my own schedule and made sure I follow that schedule.

I wanted to go to law school and I found out that I needed to get a Bachelor's degree to make that happen. So I've been doing community college classes and my enrollment advisor at Dove University told me about StraighterLine. Being able to do the classes as fast as I was able to appealed to me and I liked the fact that it was really cost-effective. StraighterLine was great and it was easy to work through the different classes. The material challenged me but I was able to plug through and get a bunch of classes knocked out really quickly. Working hard and focusing for short periods of time are key to being successful there. All in all, I'm very satisfied with StraighterLine.

StraighterLine is doing a really good job. I just wish they were around about 20 years ago. I took English 101 and the staff and the tutors were accessible. I got good feedback every time I had a question and I liked the fact that it was convenient. It was online and it was also reasonable. There was a hold placed on my last assignment so I talked to customer service because I needed the hold released so I could have my transcript sent over to Western Governors University. And they were able to do that pretty simply.

Any positive reviews here, I'm assuming are written by StraighterLine. I have done 99% of my college experience on campus at a reputable school, and decided to take my final course online. This was a huge mistake. Their elementary Spanish course requests you to submit 3 essays, in which if you use a Spanish dictionary you are flagged as cheating, and if you use simple Spanish words you are graded poorly because you don't sound fluent enough (for a an elementary course). There are different graders for every single submission. Once after inputting the draft graders feedback, I received a lower grade because the next grader had a different opinion than the draft grader. Customer Service keeps no notes of past conversations. They send you auto emails, without ever looking at past conversations.

My college mentioned StraighterLine to me when I asked them about websites to seek the remaining credits I had. The service that StraighterLine offered was affordable, easily accessed, and it had direct transfer guaranteed to my college. They had 60 courses that were guaranteed to transfer and I was simply looking for a 100-level class. I was missing one credit and I found a nutrition class that had three credits. It seemed to be a fairly interesting course so that was what I did. Their system was all automated and I was immediately given access after I paid. Then upon completion, I just had to click a button to transfer my credit.

The admission's team at StraighterLine was very helpful and their website provided information that I needed. Also, whenever I have a question, I can call and talk to them and they're very helpful. It was very easy to complete the course. StraighterLine has all the materials that you need to prepare for exam and it provides everything. All they need is your time and passing to complete the course.

If you have time, StraighterLine is the best route to go. You'll be able to do it at your own time and pace. But if you cannot manage your time, you would just be wasting money. You would think you have time to do it and you would be procrastinating because the program is not structured. So if you're considering going through with StraighterLine, find the time.

I was referred to StraighterLine by Western Governors University to obtain certification that would then transfer as college credits. I enrolled in a course under the assumption that everything I needed was in the monthly subscription and course fee. I get partway into the course and see the notification that I will need software for the remainder of the course. I looked online and found that the software I needed is no longer being supported by Microsoft and reaching its end of service date. I did find a link for the software for free, but I wanted to make sure that this is what was needed for the course. I reached out to StraighterLine and was given a similar link to download the software for free.

I enrolled in StraighterLine to assist with raising my GPA to be able to enroll with another university. I had never attended college and had not attended school for nearly 18 years so I was very nervous, needless to say. The course was very challenging in the beginning but I was given all of the tools I needed to succeed. I quickly got back into the swing of things and if I had any questions my Professor and tutors were readily available. I completed my course within a little more than a month and my earned credit was quickly transferred to the college I applied to. Everything was a breeze and I definitely recommend StraighterLine!

The best decision I’ve ever made! It was so convenient and easy. Please don’t be discouraged sign up take the class on your time and before you know it it’s over. I procrastinated for a whole year for a class I completed in 1 week.

My husband was laid off 3 days after signing up for courses and StraighterLine refused to give me my money back. I am aware it’s against policy, but it was crucial for my family to get my money back during such a scary and unsure time and they refused. I expected a little understanding and grace but they would not budge. Luckily I’ll be able to go back to school soon, but I absolutely will not be going through StraighterLine nor will I be recommending them.

I run into StraighterLine online. I've realized that I would never pass Algebra and Chemistry. I don't have the basics down enough and I'm gonna have to go somewhere else to take those classes. When I saw the cost of some of the classes that I had to take, they were a lot less expensive at StraighterLine than the ones I was taking at CSU. It made sense. So far, I've passed the classes and the professors there are very good.

I was unable to finish my undergrad last year due to financial constraints. I ended up later, while working a full-time job, flying back and forth to finish it. It was cheaper doing that commute than attending another school for two years. At that time, I still needed to do Spanish courses so I ended up needing to do it online and I did that with StraighterLine. I tried to do it asynchronously. I was working in theatre and that is not a flexible industry to be working for schedule-wise.
