I was a senior student and I needed one more credit unit to graduate. One of my advisors at my college told me to do it through StraighterLine because it would be cheaper and easier to get it done quicker. Also, their program is self-paced so that attracted me to it. Since I knew exactly what class I needed, I hopped online and found what classes they offered. I picked one that I liked and made sure it would transfer. It was very different from the other online classes that I had taken in the past. It was a lot easier to navigate the layout and figure out what I needed to work on. Since their program is self-paced, students should make themselves a schedule of when they're gonna sit down and do the work or else they're gonna get behind and never finish. I enjoyed the program that I had with StraighterLine and I liked that it wasn’t that expensive. It was a good experience and I would recommend them.

I didn’t like the fact that it charges you $100 every month if you’re not done with your course. It was a waste of money and time for me, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, because they aren’t transferrable to any college. These courses aren’t WASC.

I took 3 classes and will be taking one more class. I really like the fact I can work at my own pace. Some of the course were little challenging but they were easy to get through because you have the flexibility to work at your own pace. I love the fact these class are 100 time half the price I pay at school for some classes. Now since I was able to use this site and my classes all transfer I will be 2018 graduate instead of 2019 graduate. I’m so excited to be officially a college graduate! Thank you StraighterLine!

This course was very thorough and I learned a lot through the textbook readings, the presentations, and practice. While the tests only cover details in the textbook, the presentations are a nice supplement to better remember the textbook so I would advise doing both to prepare for tests. Overall, I would highly recommend StraighterLine.

I am currently on my bachelor's degree in Business Administration, but my focus was on business and not in Liberal Arts. When I decided to try and get my credentials in teaching, I looked into Western Governors University and the enrollment counselor, Carolyn, said that not all of my credits were transferred over and that I needed to take additional courses in order to be accepted. She also said I could do those courses at StraighterLine. The classes were done online and the only physical people that I interacted with were Carolyn and the guy that proctored the test.

I had a friend that took classes through StraighterLine, and I needed some extra credits to graduate so I got into it as well. They are very useful in getting credits or in taking an extra class. It was easy to sign up with them and their help center was helpful for me. Everything was set out very well. I knew what classes I needed to go to and I did all the practice questions which helped me out for my class.

I was a student at Strayer University and the people there suggested StraighterLine, which is a cheaper alternative to the classes that I was taking. I started my degree in 2007, but then I ran out of financial aid and was at the point where I was paying for my classes out of my pocket. It’s 2018 now, and I just finished in June. I paid StraighterLine $99 a month and the class was $79 and one was $49. Two of them were classes that I needed and one of them was one of the electives. The classes that I took with StraighterLine cost $1600 with Strayer.

I wanted to advance in some of my classes, especially in Math, and also to get ahead in my major. I compared StraighterLine with the community colleges here. There's a big gap of how much StraighterLine costs and how much the community colleges charged for the classes. StraighterLine is a great way to knock out some classes during the summer and the cost isn’t bad. It helps a lot to further people's education and it's easy to get started. Being more organized and doing time management can help a student become successful at StraighterLine.

I needed some college credits before I could apply to WGU and StraighterLine, which my WGU counselor told me about, was an easy way for me to get that done. It was all online and was at my convenience. I only communicated with the staff when I took my two proctored exams. Everything else was self-explanatory so I figured it out on my own. They had everything lined out and had all the valuable resources, and these helped me with my success. I had a wonderful experience with StraighterLine. They are the best and it's the way to go if people don't have any college credits.

My son went to summer school and the college head told him about StraighterLine. He needed a prerequisite for the fall class he was already registered for but he needed to take an earlier class. StraighterLine's site was awesome and user-friendly, so we were able to maneuver with no problems. He took his class there for the summer. I like the flexibility and how quick he could finish the class in a few weeks. Also, with the StraighterLine class, his school gave him three total summer credit classes.

I needed to take some extra classes so I can graduate a little sooner and with StraighterLine, all the options that were available were easy to follow. I urgently signed up for the final exam and when it started up, it got all crazy. I wasn't able to get in and I was panicking. I wasn't able to get in touch and couldn't get connected with the proctor. I was a nervous wreck and everything I studied for was off my head. I spoke to an amazing young lady named Ciara and she was very helpful. She calmed me down and took care of everything. She was able to get through to the proctor and told me they would be calling me shortly. The proctor did call me and Ciara called me back to make sure that everything was okay so I really appreciated that.

I go to Youngstown State University and when it was towards the end of the spring semester, I asked if there was any way to take some of my elective classes early. My advisor advised StraighterLine, where I could go at my own pace. I liked that I wasn’t rushed every week to have to get something done. It was nice that I could do it on my own, when I wanted and when I could. I got an eBook automatically with the class and it was nice. It was a read-through thing, and then when I was taking the test, I used them and that was helpful.

I took classes at StraighterLine as a requirement to pass a nursing program. I liked that I could finish the class at a fast pace, though you'd have to be dedicated and put in a ton of work to succeed. It was a great program and I had a good experience.

StraighterLine was cheaper and I needed to finish quick. I first heard about it from my school. I already knew the areas of study I wanted to take and I was focused. I did most of the courses online but I had to call to understand what happens next if I didn’t pass. StraighterLine can help you finish college early. Find out if they can be good and choose them first.

I wanted to get ahead with my majors and to be able to graduate a little earlier so I looked into StraighterLine, and it was really good. I was able to work on my class whenever I was available. One of my friends had already taken a class and I asked her for guidance and she helped me through it too. Time management is also a key to be a successful student at StraighterLine. I had a really good experience and StraighterLine helped me a lot. It is a good resource if someone wants to further his education in certain areas.

I like the convenience of going to StraighterLine. I also like their price. I was able to know my specific area of study and they offered me a decent program. The layout was easy to manage as well and the resources they provided were thorough.

I needed to take a course over the summer that would allow me to take it from anywhere and not have to go into a classroom for a proctored test. I knew what I was gonna study and I just needed to complete one course through StraighterLine. I called and got a few questions answered by the help team. The course I took was very well laid out, so it was easy to be successful. The course itself was self-explanatory. My proctors were very nice and they made sure to ask me if I had any questions. Throughout the exam, if something went wrong, I could chat with them and they would help fix it. It was comforting to know that if anything were to go wrong, someone was on the other side of a computer ready to help. I had a friend take the same course I did a couple of weeks after I finished.

I needed a few more classes to finish my degree and studying through StraighterLine was the quickest way to get that done. A coworker told me about StraighterLine and I liked their format. I also finished both of my courses in a total of three weeks with StraighterLine. I got the job done and did what I needed. I would tell others that if they gotta get through a couple of classes quickly and don’t wanna spend a fortune, they should deal with StraighterLine.

After I wrote this review, I was contacted by someone from Straighterline named Joe. Joe fast tracked the grading on my rough paper, had someone from the grading department reach out to me and offer direct feedback and allowed me to submit my final for the same grade I had received on my rough. I was able to send my transcripts over to WGU that day but was later told that I would not meet the deadline for my desired start date. Joe was in contact with me throughout this whole process and I had told him that, unfortunately, I was not going to be able to start when I had wanted to. He offered to reach out to WGU for me and, later that day I got an email that I would be admitted for the term I wanted.

If you need to get extra credits or take summer classes, go to StraighterLine. It's easy, cheap, and straightforward. It's also a good way to get credits towards getting into a college. When I enrolled there, I knew my specific area of study and I did mostly online and read through my course by myself. But like in any other school, putting your head down and getting your work done makes you a successful student at StraighterLine.

I was getting ready to attend WDU and they told me about StraighterLine. I could get some extra courses for a cheaper price while I waited for my courses to start. It took about two months to get everything in and it was the perfect time. When I first signed up, I had some trouble figuring out how everything was set up. I called and one staff helped me. Everything else was self-explanatory though.

I am nearing my loan limit for financial aid so I had to think fast in terms of finding a solution in order to finish my degree before my financial aid runs out. I still have a few more classes to take with StraighterLine. Due to funds right now, I kinda had to put it on hold. Still, I went through the whole process myself. One time, I had to contact support just because I needed to adjust the courses that I was going to take. I needed to do refining and select a different course. The support that I spoke with at the time was very helpful.

I needed to knock down some electives to graduate on time and Sara recommended StraighterLine. She told me what classes would transfer so I signed up for those and took them. I had a great experience. With StraighterLine, you can do your thing at your own pace and if you spend at least 40 minutes on your classes per day, you'd be a successful student.

I had some general education classes that I needed to take and classes at StraighterLine were much more affordable than the university that I was going through. I signed up online and took two classes. It was super convenient and easy to finish those courses through StraighterLine. I would definitely recommend them.

StraighterLine was a cheaper option for me than paying $1,300 out-of-pocket for a class at the University of Phoenix. I did one religion course and there was a lot of information. It was helpful that I could take my own notes and figure out what I thought was important which turned out to work in my favor for the exam. Everything about their program went hand-in-hand so whatever things that I read, wrote down or studied were pretty much on the exam. I didn’t feel like I was wasting my time in any of the studies compared to going to school that what you studied or read were not even gonna be close to being on the exam.

I got into a situation where due to a change in my major, I needed to take Spanish courses that I hadn’t taken since sixth grade. I searched options and found StraighterLine on Google, found some good reviews and I signed up. It was super simple. I had a million questions and the staff at StraighterLine was phenomenally helpful, super quick and responsive. I’m working a full-time job, have a family, and needed to finish quickly. I couldn’t do the CLEP test because those are Spanish level 1 and 2. So, the work-at-your-own pace with StraighterLine was huge because I didn’t have time to take a 16-week course. I'm happy that I finished the StraighterLine course in 17 days.

I got an advice from the university that I’m currently attending to get a course with StraighterLine. I knew the course that I was gonna take and it was cost-effective to take it with StraighterLine since the cost contained the material. I called them to find out how the process goes and they showed me to go online, register for an account and for the course that I wanted. I did almost everything by myself. And there was only one day when I called on how I could register for the final exam. I was told to go online and I just followed the instructions on the side. I would refer friends to go to StraighterLine. In fact, I already did to two friends to take the same course that I did.

At the time I started StraighterLine, I was 37 credits away from my Bachelor’s degree, and the college that I was going to said that I needed to take the last 24 with them, but anything between the 37 and 24, I could get from wherever. I liked StraighterLine's price and the flexibility because I work full time. It was at my own pace. Everything was right there. I could put the e-books on another computer, so I didn’t have to have internet all the time. It was so convenient. I was taking tests at 10 o’clock at night, and it worked out well. Also, the proctors were great. I would’ve done this a long time ago if I knew StraighterLine existed because I could afford it.

My parents didn’t want to pay all the extra money the university was going to charge us for the extra class that didn’t count for credit so we went to StraighterLine. I like that it is self-paced and you can go back and look at the textbook when you forget what you need to work on. I've told many of my friends about StraighterLine and they plan on doing it.

Western Governors University advised me to take some courses at StraighterLine before I enroll to them. I hate sitting in a classroom and I like to learn on my own, so that was a big plus for me. Most of the work given at StraighterLine was very clear-cut. It was pretty easy to understand and the exams were just difficult enough. You really have to do your work. It’s a lot of self-motivation to actually sit and do the work because nobody is standing on top of you. I’ve really enjoyed my time with StraighterLine, and I've recommended it to someone.

My adviser told me about StraighterLine and he also told me what I needed to take because I just needed 2 credits to finish up my degree. Once I called StraighterLine's customer service, they were okay. I like the flexibility that they provide.

I'm a nurse going back to my Bachelor's. There were a few classes that I had a deficit on with Western Governors and I wanted to take a few classes before I started with them so I took classes with StraighterLine. I took three classes and it took me about six months to finish them. I had a great experience. I got those classes knocked out, so when I start in the Western Governors program, I got those behind me. It was pretty smooth taking classes and it was easy to do stuff online. You gotta discipline yourself and set aside a little bit of time of your day to make things easier.

The only course that I needed to finish to graduate was Western Civ and my advisor told me that she had a cheaper option for me. She told me that since I was out of state, I really needed to check out StraighterLine. It was kind of a trial-and-error thing because she said that I would've been the only student at my school to do this. But when I move back to school, I would tell my advisor and recommend StraighterLine to everybody. I also got two of my friends to do it because they're out of state too and it was a lot cheaper for them to do it as well.

I like the flexibility that comes with StraighterLine. I was able to be on my own pace with the classes and was able to finish as fast as I could. And that was the most attractive thing for me. I only needed about four classes and they were only electives. I found success by pushing hard and not letting too much time go by without logging in.

I needed prereq courses for optometry school and I didn't want to spend three months doing a course. A lot of the courses I was looking at have a scheduled midterms and finals. But with StraighterLine, I can accelerate it, put in three times the work and then just write the midterm and finals and schedule them whenever I want. I was able to complete three courses within a month. It was tough and I don't wanna do it again but it's possible. I had to do an essay a day because I was taking two English courses and a Microbio course but it was worth it.

The school that I first applied to didn't accept me. I was given the option to retake the ACT to a course called the ACCUPLACER and then my last option was StraighterLine. I’ve read reviews saying how easy and time consuming StraighterLine was. Still, I decided to pick the course that I wanted to do. Ms. Irene, a staff member, was very nice and helpful. I was doing the assignments every single day and it took me four weeks to complete my course. We opened our assignments and we read everything thoroughly. If people are gonna do the English course, they should make sure they're strong in English and have somebody to proofread your paper. If you wanna do StraighterLine, go for it. It is an easy course if you sit down and read the directions because they walk you through on exactly what to do.

I needed a pre-requisite class and the Admissions team at StraighterLine helped match me with a program. I only took one course and it was thorough and explained well. StraighterLine is a good option.

I am a University of Phoenix student and somewhere in the course of my junior year, they told me about StraighterLine and how it could help to get out of the school sooner. I like StraighterLine since just like my classes, I could do it at my own pace. Its setup was very similar to my school and I'm not being pressured so it wasn't hard at all too.

I had to take a class that was required for my school that I'm going into and found StraighterLine when I Googled. I found it appealing that I could work on it as much or as little as I wanted to and there was no time limit. Also, my adviser, Brandon, helped me out a lot. He was always available when I called him and he always had all the answers that I needed for my specific questions. And I was successful because I had a good job that let me take off a lot of work to finish the course within the time-frame that I needed to for the school that I was going to.

The institution I'm attending gave me options where I can take classes for the summer and told me about StraighterLine. Their price of the credit units was more affordable which I found appealing. I used the textbook a lot as a student. It comes with purchasing the class except having to pay an extra $100 to get the textbook.

This class was easy to understand. It was not homework heavy or essay heavy. The essays were short enough to finish within a few hours. The quizzes were a little different from what you were learning in the lessons. It was tough to recall the information that was asked on the quizzes.

I heard about StraighterLine from the campus adviser and I wanted to cut down the cost of financial aid. It was better for me to go through them to accumulate my credits faster than waiting for the next semester. I found that the courses were relatively easy and having the e-book and tutoring and all that it provided was just a bonus. Everything was inclusive in the price and if I ever reach out to anyone from there, they were pretty nice. The team matched me with my area of study because I needed electives and they suggested that would be a great way to get some electives done and not have to pay full price for it. The courses, the literature and the materials are geared to help you pass the class and you just have to be disciplined and put in the work in time. It was pretty good and StraighterLine is awesome.

I chose to further my education through StraighterLine as it's convenient. I do it at my pace, wherever I am. Everybody there has been meaningful and the whole online course has been a good thing.

I've heard about StraighterLine through the University of Phoenix. I liked that StraighterLine is online and I could work at my own pace. And I was able just to pay a one-month subscription. And then I took two classes and it was filing them for free. Since I needed credits quickly, I worked fast for both of my classes. And from my experience, reading the book was the key to being successful at StraighterLine.

I like the classes offered but need to offer child growth and development as it is required class for the majority of schools and more classes in sciences. By offering my classes we don’t need to go out looking for other schools. I feel StraighterLine is capable of doing this. I also like the idea that now you can get financial aid. It will definitely help a lot of families.

Blows other online classes out of the water in terms of price. It was great to be able to go at my own pace, since I was juggling other courses this semester. The ebook was great, and you can make your own online flashcards by highlighting the important info as you read.

I love independent study. I also appreciate that credits can transfer to major universities. It may take awhile but I plan to enroll in as many classes at StraighterLine as possible. I hope to share my experience with family and friends so they can benefit from this inexpensive and flexible option of starting their degree program.

I'm on a four-year scholarship program at school and I had to knock out some classes so I would have money left over in my scholarship to study abroad and further some other plans that I had. I also wanted to accelerate the process of graduating so I took a step for the future and went to StraighterLine. Going there is really nice if you're really good at working at your own pace and wanting to finish quick. I've been a self-learner for all my years so I work ahead, teach myself and learn from a question I got wrong or a test score that didn't come the way I wanted it to be. It helps me stay motivated for University.

I also liked being able to do my studies at my own pace. If I needed to speed or slow down, I could. I was looking for an online course and saw a couple of ads by the internet. My experience at StraighterLine was outstanding in every single aspect. The reps were helpful and when I had some initial retest along the way, the technical team helped me out really quickly. I knew what I was gonna take because my college accepted the StraighterLine credits, and that definitely made me take a course through them.

About a week before I started my classes, I heard that if you gotta get an elective done, StraighterLine would be an easy and cheap way to do it. I am only four classes away from graduating and when I heard about it, at the time, I had just started a new job. Also, I’m in the military, so it was just easy and a lot more convenient than doing it on a schedule. I took a class and enjoyed it. I wish I would’ve known that Baker was affiliated sooner, though, then I would’ve taken more classes. Other than that, I’ve spread the word to a couple other students in my other classes before I took the class, so I’m hoping they took advantage of the rates and whatnot because it’s an amazing help especially when you got a family. I appreciate it.

My friend who works at a college told me about StraighterLine since I needed some credit hours for my job and so, I needed something quick. I already knew my area of study and my job told me which classes to take. It can be done fairly quickly so I set a time aside for that. I enjoyed the experience and StraighterLine is an awesome site. It saved me and I recommended them to my coworkers.

I have a plan on graduating this August and I needed another class. StraighterLine was the only one that was online that I could take, so I went through them. They have a good program. It was also so easy to set up in the program and to start working on it right away which was a good thing for me. I took a lab and I was really confused at first when I got on there, however, there was a lady who explained it better and that really helped. The discussion board helped as well. I've already started recommending StraighterLine to all of my friends.

I still had a couple of courses before I can enroll into my graduate program. I had to take some prerequisite courses and I was in contact with a lady who helped in admissions for a PT school in Fargo, North Dakota, and she recommended me to StraighterLine. They had two of the three courses that I needed, and so it worked out well. I pushed through the courses as quick as I could, especially because it's a membership-based school. So, the quicker you're getting done, you'd go to better colleges. For the most part, the courses were a bit easier than what I was used to taking. And so, I pushed one course in about two weeks.

I needed another course to graduate on June 23rd. Also, I needed another course that Strayer University could not offer. I wanted short courses to go at my own pace so my success coach at Strayer suggested StraighterLine. I wanted to originally take three classes and I wanted one of them to be a five-week course. I signed up with StraighterLine. Then, I had a set-up calendar to talk to a woman in the beginning and I looked at my computer to see their names. But she missed it and I called because she wasn't available. I ended up talking to another woman. After that, I didn't have a good experience with those coaches and teachers. Then I called one because I asked a question about my class and the person who sent me an email told me that he doesn’t handle that. I was pretty much on my own after that.

I went to StraighterLine through WGU as I required a second course to go to WGU. StraighterLine was cheap and awesome. I already knew precalculus and I knew the material beforehand. I just needed the credits and StraighterLine allowed me to do the class really fast, which was within a month as opposed to the semester-long that I would have had to take with a brick and mortar school.

I graduated July 2nd and needed ways to obtain my best list. My dean adviser told me about StraighterLine. I looked at the courses and I was impressed so I signed up. I was applying for the master of culture work program and StraighterLine helped me so I could apply for masteral. Everybody there was helpful in assisting me with my concerns. Though I had no instructor and I just filled up a student report, their team members were always available and they initiated for an answer. Overall, StraighterLine helped me a lot to obtain my best list and also helped me to apply for my masteral. I recommend it to others.

The price of Straighterline is a lot cheaper than taking it from the college. And then the material they provide you with, like the books and all that are good. But I remembered taking one of the courses where I have to read more than 400 pages, with about 16 chapters and that was a lot. It takes some dedication to find success as a student and it involves a lot of time. So you just have to create time for it.

My adviser at my college told me about Straighterline and it had been easy being a student there. I can kinda do it on my own terms. You just got to do the work.

It was easier to pick up certain classes at StraighterLine instead of having to pay a lot of money in my institution over the summertime. I did admission myself with their live chat. The courses were pretty fancy and going through them was convenient.

A coworker of mine told me about StraighterLine and I did a little bit of research. I like that StraighterLine is self-paced. And it’s been 10 years since I was in school last time, so returning back to school has been a little bit of a challenge with my work schedule and home schedule and trying to get acclimated back to the environment. So, I guess, really, it’s just being able to sit down. And being able to work at my own pace and not having a set schedule to follow has really helped me. StraighterLine was very user-friendly and the programs are very informative.

My roommate currently works at WDU and they recommend most of us students to go to StraighterLine. One of the staff helped me understand what I needed and the free passes were really helpful for me as well as working at my own pace especially since my schedule is not consistent sometimes. It is a wonderful organization and I'll probably use them again in the future.

I asked Matt, my academic adviser, if there was a way to double up on courses. He offered StraighterLine company as a way to do that without having to double up on two University of Phoenix courses ‘cause StaighterLine is more of a work at your own pace. I found that pretty helpful. I took classes through StraighterLine having in mind that I could possibly get more progress while still doing a class at University of Phoenix. I did about two classes and I might do another one in the future to fill in the gaps on my program with University of Phoenix. It was convenient and the interface wasn’t hard to learn. I would recommend StraighterLine for sure. It took me longer than it should have but in order to be successful at it, students just got to keep logging on even if they feel like they don't find the time or don't want to do it. It is the easy process if you’re trying to get extra college credit.

When I called the University of Maryland’s online program, I told them I wanted to take my courses and get them out the way. I needed to do something where I can do it at my pace. And at that time, I was having some problems with my eyes, so I didn’t have a whole lot of time to be typing a bunch of essays under strict guidelines. I just wanted to get my stuff done and take my test. So, they recommend StraighterLine for their students to get into any program that was just missing a class or two to transfer. When I checked StraighterLine, it was just the way they said it. They were great and it served its purpose. I took the College Algebra and Pre-Calculus class which were very intense. And for the most part, everything went smooth and I didn’t have any problems with registering and taking my classes.

I am so grateful I was able to take most of my nursing prerequisites at StraighterLine. The self-paced, online schedule made it possible to complete my education as a single mom. I have, and will continue, to recommend these courses to friends and family.

I took one class in StraighterLine and I was diligent about it. I made sure that I got it done sooner rather than later and as fast as I needed to.

Someone who went to Strayer University told me that they were able to complete a few of their courses on StraighterLine. I found it appealing that it was a self-pace course so I could run through an entire class in a week if that's all I did. That made it a lot easier and I finished my four years in 12 months. I had an interaction with my instructor in English class where I had to be graded for my papers, and the grading was very rigorous so I thought that was good. In general, one of the keys to be successful at StraighterLine is you've got to be self-motivated because if you're not, then you're not going to finish the course.

StraighterLine is a good place to enroll. The school I’m attending told me about it because I have to save for classes to get my BCA then. It has an easier enrollment process and I liked that I can do the course at my own pace.

I had a few contingency classes and as a working mother, doing the classes online was the best thing. I heard of StraighterLine and the feedback about them was good. After taking tests, I got a response the next day and the corrected papers had helpful notes on them. They have a staff named Nicky who was also very helpful. She answered all my questions and gave me hints and tips. She really took her time with me. It was challenging working at my own pace because I’m a type of person that, if not given a deadline, I can go forever. But just knowing that they were charging me $99 a month and that I needed to get it in at a certain time, it pushed me to log in and do a little bit of work every day which made me successful with the program.

I needed a course for graduation and went with StraighterLine, which is convenient because it's online. I also found their price appealing. Staying on top works if you want to be successful there, and I'd recommend them overall.

I was trying to meet the graduation deadline for my degree for a program in the military. The options from StraighterLine fulfilled my requirement. It was recommended to me through my college counselor at UMUC. I was told Statistics would complete my Statistics area. Then I went through the course catalog and saw that they also had College Algebra which was another course I had to take, and asked if I could do it with StraighterLine as well, and they said absolutely so I signed up for both courses.

I was listed in the navy and I had to get credits before I leave to get a promotion. I accidentally found StraighterLine online. I liked that StraighterLine is self-paced as it is really hard to find a few of the online schools that are self-paced. As soon as I paid for it, I started the class right there and then. And that was what I liked about them more than anything of the other online schools that I've looked up. I took up their Nutrition 101 course. I was a pre-med student at a university before so it helped out that it was in the area and field I wanted to go to. The final test was proctored so I was comfortable in my home with someone watching while I took the test.

My experience with StraighterLine was good overall. I wanted to try to finish up faster and so I went with them. I went there knowing what specific area of study I would take and I like that I can go at my own pace there. A couple of subjects were a little hard but that's what it was. Still, there was one lady that was really nice and over the top. She helped me with everything I needed. I have recommended StraighterLine to people, and they're gonna take classes there.

I had changed employers and they gave me the incentive. If I finished my education early, there would be a financial gain for me, so I was trying to pack in as many credits as I possibly could in the time that I got. My other classes at StraighterLine were online, so I didn’t have to wait. I got all the coursework all at one time and I could do it all right away, although there was a decision process, so I couldn’t complete the class until the weeks were up. One of the courses I’ve had was an elective and the other ones were general education. To be successful, I had to focus. Instead of having three classes at one time, I just did one at a time and put all my attention towards that. I was doing the classes in two or three days. I got everything done super early and it was super-quick. It's a cheap and easy way to get credits, but you’re not gonna learn a lot doing it.

I went to StraighterLine for extra credit. They graded really fast and their rep gave me all the answers that I needed.

Western Governors University told me that I needed to do some courses before starting their courses. It was through them that I first heard about StraighterLine. StraighterLine is a very good alternative to pick up some college credit and as long as you’re willing to do the work, it’s a good deal. There were a couple of things I had to call the help desk for and they were very helpful. Their charges are very reasonable for the product that we use and I got a lot of good things for the price. I knew my specific areas and I like that at Staighterline, I have the ability to learn on my own and schedule exams at convenient times. Their program is flexible. But you have to be determined to learn on your own. They provide the materials but you’re not getting somebody to nudge you so you have to be an adult and schedule your time to study and do the work.

I’ve got a couple of degrees and my husband finished up his Masters. And because he’s getting ready to finish his, my plan was always to go back and further my education and pick up my next degree. Also, my kids were almost out of high school so I was trying to time it just right. I do really well if I’m on my own pace and with StraighterLine, I could get up early and do classwork, stay up late or skip a couple days and then make up for it later, and those were huge. I got into the classes I needed and did the work. I love that I could access StraighterLine from my phone, so I could be reading the work on my phone or my laptop. I can always have it with me, so it was very helpful. I’ve recommended StraighterLine to a lot of people. In fact, I plan on taking a couple more courses in a couple months, so I’m not done with StraighterLine yet.

I went to school and I needed some prerequisites. They told me to go to StraighterLine for a specific course that I didn't have. Anyone I called was helpful to me. I went to StraighterLine so, my friends can also go there. I would recommend it if they need to do a course like I did.

I was at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and I decided to try to get cheaper options to finish my degree on time as I was little tight with credit. My friend took a course at StraighterLine and told me about it. They were a lot cheaper than any of the other options I had come close looking at and I liked the ease of having your own time schedule at your own speed. So, I selected some extra class at StraighterLine and enrolled with them.

I needed a few elective courses while I’m working on my Bachelor’s and going through StraighterLine was a cheap way of doing it instead of taking them at University. Also with StraighterLine, the courses were all online. And one should just be organized to be successful at StraighterLine. I’ve already told several people to look in to them for their basic classes.

I go to a university and I was told that I could do some fast-track courses with StraighterLine. I can get done with a whole class in a couple days as long as I read, do the work and take the exam. That works best for me. So I was trying to take two courses but I didn't receive any one of them. I took it three times and failed every time. Nevertheless, I like the course work part of StraighterLine. It's pretty straightforward on what I need to do and what I need to learn. My advisers were pretty okay. But I should read and get to understand the basics for myself. The only thing I didn't like with the course that I kept taking is that I didn't know whether they were reworded or I was reading it right because what I studied seemed totally different from the test. I still need two courses that StraighterLine offers but I'd probably take them at the university.

In order to graduate on the time schedule that I needed, I decided to further my education through StraighterLine. It was offered at that time and I didn’t have to wait. It also appealed to me that the classes were available to start at any time. Although I didn’t have that much interaction with instructors, anyone I talked to was incredibly helpful. There was somebody towards the end and if it hadn't been for that person, I wouldn't have known what I was doing. It was someone I talked to when it came time to schedule the exam and find the resources I needed. The staff that I dealt with, for the most part, was just very easy to email. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

I looked into StraighterLine so I can finish school faster. I know my area of study, and I just needed to make sure I have time management and the work actually gets done. I would tell others to go with StraighterLine if their school allows them to be able to use StraighterLine credits.

She walked me through the steps that I needed to set up my schedule, just right there with me on the computer. I was very pleased with my experience.

My academic adviser told me about StraighterLine for graduation at a sooner date. I needed extracurricular activities. I did two courses at StraighterLine and it went smoothly. Most universities are all, "Oh, it's your pace." But you can only do your own pace per week and not for the whole class. I also like the layout of Straighterline a little better. That was much more beneficial. You can see all of the chapters of the course and which part is the quiz. The study guide breaks down which part the quiz would come from. And you don't get those at most universities. But you have to schedule your finals. That irritated the crap out of me! I didn't know that. I wasn't told that. So I went to take my finals and they told me I had to wait three days because I have to schedule the proctor. I should have looked further into it. I was ready to go take it and I couldn't because I had to go through all of that nonsense.

I was already working on my bachelor's but I was limited on the amount of credit hours I could take at once through school. I was looking for some lower cost online alternatives for the requirements that needed to be met as far as Gen Ed goes for some of my degree specific classes. I go to Franklin University and they also advertised that they have a partnership with StraighterLine. So, I followed that trail. With StraighterLine, I was able to add the extra class or two that I needed so that I could graduate and it ended up being a semester earlier.

Cheryk told me about StraighterLine and she really recommended it because it was easy and it could get me through quicker. StraighterLine's cost was appealing as well. To be a successful student at StraighterLine, you need to study and get on the test.

My academic adviser at school suggested StraighterLine as a way to take a class over the summer that would be cheaper than taking it at school. I liked the price of the class I needed, though it would be cheaper if I finished it in a month. I was leaving Strayer and was gonna go to WGU. But since the timing didn’t work out perfectly, I was gonna have a gap. I talked to a recruiter at Western Governors and he said that StraighterLine was a great idea for me to help bulk up my transcript. The whole concept was great. And their flexible schedule and low cost were appealing. To succeed, the key is staying diligent and sticking with it. You have to make yourself pull up the computer and do the work even when you don’t want to. I have recommended StraighterLine to quite a few people.

StraighterLine has worked out great for me and I liked it. I had electives to do. I was on maternity leave and with StraighterLine, I didn't have to leave my house. Everything was easy to access. Also, I could complete the courses late at night, two hours at a time. I have gotten four classes done super quick. To be successful, you must already have a good understanding of the type of student you are. You have to be a good test-taker too because if you can't go through each bullet yourself and set yourself up the way your instructor would make you do it, you're not gonna pass the courses. You also have to make sure to do everything as quickly as possible because the monthly fee is a little excessive with the price of cropped classes. If you're always in one class every couple of months, it makes it a little bit more expensive.

I heard about StraighterLine through a community college. And it was a great alternative for convenience to get some prerequisites done for a nursing program. Then, I ordered the textbooks and rented them from Amazon. I found that useful just because I learned best out of a book, and affordable too.

My original completion date was set for November and I wanted to move it up. To make it happen, my academic adviser told me that there were classes at StraighterLine that I could take as part of my business program and it was going to be financially beneficial. It would cut down on my time as well. Everyone I spoke with at StraighterLine, starting with the young lady who first walked me through how to sign up to those who helped me anytime I was having issues with accessing and viewing my courses or even with rescheduling, has been amazing. But then, once you get down to ProctorU, which is the independent portion of it, that could be frustrating. Depending on the person, it might be enough to deter them from doing it altogether.

I had a specific process I needed for references for the master's program and I heard about StraighterLine from WGU. StraighterLine was all self-teach and online and I was gonna do it as quick as possible. The first course was way too long, but I realized that it was self-teach and I can do it and not have it forever. I can be done as quickly as possible if I just came through the stuff because I was making a flash card and all sort of stuff in the first one. It was direct, so I didn't have to read as much about it. I also took four courses and the format of the first three was awesome. However, the statistic scores format was terrible.

I'm in my late 40's and I have two children and we're constantly busy. I can further my career where I'm at but I needed to get a degree. I did not go to college before but I have an accountant's job and I've been doing accounting for over 20 years, so I just needed to be able to do something when I could do it, whether it'd be late at night or on Saturdays and Sundays. I looked into going to WGU but I did not have any college courses so they had recommended StraighterLine to me. I liked that StraighterLine was online. It was going to be a better option for me than sitting in a classroom. Also the credits would transfer over and get me ready for the assessment test to get into WGU.

But I wish there were more instructions on how setting up and proctoring for the exam would go as to how early I needed to get on and what I needed to top up and get ready for the session. I had been discussing with them about options for speeding up my course for my graduation plan. Also, I had wanted to take a class through someone else besides Liberty. As far as StraighterLine classes go, I like the setup as I go my own pace. For the particular class that I was looking to avoid taking through Liberty, like that they have it set up at StraighterLine where it was just read the textbook and take the test. It was not so much graded papers and lectures and such. It was more graded on, “Read this, do you understand the materials or not,” instead of being graded on grammar that I might be graded on papers.

I had to partner up with my own college to see what classes I could take, and from there, I chose classes. Being a student was very hectic. It was crunch time for me and I got it done in a month. I needed extra credits and I didn't wanna spend extra compared to what I would have to pay at the University. One of the advisers at the school that I went to mentioned StraighterLine. It gave me an option to do it at my own pace. I just followed the program and kept up with the reading as there was a lot of reading with StraighterLine. The last two courses I needed were easier to do through StraighterLine as I can get through them faster at my own pace. I did online courses and did Intro to Sociology and Spanish. I stayed on top of my work, made sure to check on my assignments and got everything done, and graduated. I had a lot of interactions with Bianca and she helped me a lot. She had answers to every question that I needed answers to and I also talked to a couple of people online via email. If someone asks, I'd tell them to enroll and do their courses on StraighterLine.

StraighterLine was suggested to me to get a class knocked out of the way. I used it get ready to go to WGU and it was user-friendly. Everything seemed to work out pretty well and I didn't have any issues. A few of my friends are actually interested in going to online school and I told them to check StraighterLine out to see if the transcript would transfer over and they'd accept it, and that it's affordable and my friends can accelerate through it.

Last semester, one of my friends took a class called Microbiology from StraighterLine. She said she passed it and asked her to tell me about it. I went to their website and signed up for Microbiology and I passed it. My last science class is cell biology. I stayed with them in a two-week class. I decided that was full enough compared to what I wanted to finish. It was a cool and convenient experience. I was so glad I was there.

I have to pay for school out of pocket and StraighterLine was affordable. I was going to finish at WG but StraighterLine offered some of the courses I needed at a cheaper rate. And I was able to go ahead and take those courses, have it credited and transferred except one class. It really helped that I was able to work in my own pace. But when I got ready to take my final, I felt like it didn't have anything to do with the assignment or what I studied so you have to do that additional work on top of what they already assigned. But I would recommend StraighterLine to a friend.

I attend the University of Phoenix and StraighterLine was suggested there. I thought it would be faster and easier to go to StraighterLine and the tuition wasn't that expensive, so that gave me the opportunity to take advantage of the low cost of the class. The staff was nice and guided me through my transcript 'cause I had problems understanding that, and they were very helpful. I got my college math out of the way. I made time, paced myself through the class and dedicated myself to it, making sure that I studied and knocked it out. The experience was real easy and I would recommend it. StraighterLine was a great beginning place for me to earn college credit. The format of classes was tailored to my time and style. Over time the format of some courses changed to include more assignments instead of a few heavily weighted tests. When this change occurred it became more difficult for me to complete courses, which motivated me to look for other options. I found an online service in Study.com which focused on requiring many graded quizzes and very few assignments. This proved to be conducive to my learning style and I subsequently utilized their system over StraighterLine to complete additional courses. StraighterLine played a significant role in my path towards a bachelor's degree and I am grateful for the ability to complete the courses I did through StraighterLine.

I liked the course (Anatomy and Physiology). I just had a hard time finishing up course before the month came to renew so I stopped it until I know I will have time to complete course and take the proctored exam. I also need to purchase a better laptop.

We made a transfer credit information and StraighterLine was a little cheaper, and I don't have to be there long. During my journey with them, I got help, but I did most of it all by myself because I already knew what class I was gonna take. The key to being successful was having the online book and having to where I can access it whenever because I would study in the car and I probably wouldn't have a signal with my iPad, but I could still look through the book. You've got to be determined and you gotta push yourself to finish the thing you signed up for because nobody else is gonna make you try to push yourself to do it. I said no and that I was holding myself accountable. I wanted to finish it at that time.

I really enjoyed taking courses through StraighterLine. They were great from the beginning to the end. They were always helpful with any question I had. The transcripts were sent over immediately. And compared to other online programs, a student has a better chance of passing with StraighterLine. Students are able to take a few tests and pass them. And then, StraighterLine would fax their grades from all the exams, not just one. Read and study the material they give you and you'll pass. I would recommend StraighterLine and I've already recommended them to seven people.

What StraighterLine offered was a cheaper and quicker alternative to get some of the basics that I needed to finish up out of the way. It was a tenth of the cost per class. I dealt with their support a couple of times when I had issues with the website and they were always helpful. Because it's online and it's a self-directed at-your-own-pace thing, you obviously have to be diligent and work at it. Otherwise, what should be a cheaper alternative could end up being just the opposite if you don't stick to it and get it done.

I love StraighterLine. I wanted to finish school and get it over with, and the school admission helped match me with my program which was great. Going there makes things faster for my program. It's my own pace and I don't have to wait for anybody.

I was looking at transfer credits and a cheaper way to get credits done and found out about StraighterLine from my university, Strayer. They list which classes they take from StraighterLine so I already knew which classes to take based on my own degree plan. Also, if you tell StraighterLine which university you're doing, they would tell you which classes your university takes. At StraighterLine, there is no instructor. It's about the support and the Bookshelf. And the classes are at your own pace. The key to being successful is to read everything. Although they said somewhere that I shouldn’t be studying anything that’s external to the class, I found that some of the questions for tests asked me things that weren’t in the book so it made me look for more info.

I really liked my StraighterLine experience. I learned about it through Walden and I liked that going through the online program was affordable and fast. You just gotta devote time for it. I'd totally recommend StraighterLine.

I learned a lot in StraighterLine. Plus, I was able to take the test right away and I didn't have to wait for the entire semester. Hard work has been key to my success. I put in eight hours a day. I did all the work and all the videos. I only needed a two-week course since I'm up for service so I tried canceling towards the end. I received an email saying that the website forms didn't let me cancel. I called StraighterLine up and they said, "Sorry, we're not gonna let you get that refund back." I had to call my credit card company and have them not bill me for the second month. But the professor was good and enthusiastic. And although it was all recordings, the professor seemed legitimate.

I'm studying Psychology and I want a certification to be a counselor. I’m in the senior year, so I don’t have that much time to finish all my credit hours. My friend informed me about StraighterLine and whoever helped me through the live chat has answered several questions I asked about how to access their course. I took classes on History and English but I did not finish the English part. I really like the Powerpoint and the lecture from the course.

Somebody in my class was going to take a course with StraighterLine. And that time, I found that having classes online was appealing and that you could move ahead and do it at a normal pace or take as long as you wanted. With StraighterLine, I liked the lesson that was a video and you click to advance to each page and someone was talking at the same time. It was more like an audio presentation or a slideshow with an audio. However, there's too much clicking and too much back-and-forth internet, which was a little frustrating. I would have liked to get mailed a hard copy so I could have the book open while I was doing a lesson to look at two things at once.

I was speaking with my academic adviser and she suggested to try and take classes at StraighterLine for my financial aid. So, I looked at it and I saw that they have a few classes I could take that I actually wanted. Also with them, I could work at my own pace. It takes a lot to be a successful student with StraighterLine though. It takes discipline because I could’ve finished the class a lot sooner but for personal reasons, I didn’t. And since they were deducting a monthly fee of $100 for a course that I could have finished in 30 days but took me over four months to do, unnecessary money was wasted.

StraighterLine is a convenient option for schooling if you're under time constraints. You just have to study to be a successful student there. I wanted to change professions and at StraighterLine, I liked the convenience of doing the work when I am able to do it.

My experience with StraighterLine has been straightforward. I wouldn't be able to complete my degree at the end of June but they were able to kind of fast track me and get me completed by the end of June.

I would recommend StraighterLine for someone who needs a couple of credits to finish a program. It's fairly inexpensive and simple to do. I just needed three credits, which was basically an elective I could take, to finish my Bachelor's and StraighterLine seemed like the easiest way to go. I talked to my counsellor as to whether or not I could take the class I found and he approved it, saying that it was fine because I didn't have anything like that on my schedule already.

StraighterLine is an easy way to get credits. I needed one more class to graduate and I heard that StraighterLine was convenient and cheaper. The class went pretty easy. It was at my own pace and that's the key to being successful there 'cause some people get too rushed into it.

I love StraighterLine. I was lacking one course, College Algebra, and my football coach at the University of Central Oklahoma told me about StraighterLine and to get on there and take the course. The school that accepted the credit was called Rose State College in Midwest City and I’ve been happy since then. At Rose State, I had a start-off math class like a high school math class. I would have to go that math class, another math class, a summer job, and another math class in the fall time. It sounded too good to be true, but it was true. They accepted the credit and I finished the class in two weeks or less. It all worked out.

StraighterLine has been an amazing step to prepare me for University. I've taken numerous courses and each has been relatively easy at a really good price. StraighterLine is also a good option if you're a working student and need something self paced. I highly recommend StraighterLine.

I'm currently enrolled at the Young American College of the Performing Arts and I needed to retake my psychology class. StraighterLine was one of the best opportunities and options for me to do it in the timeframe that I needed. I was googling around and I liked how I could get it done within 30 days. There were 16 lessons and I tried to cover as many as I could. Each day I did a new lesson and everything was online. The key to being successful was time management and making sure I stayed on track. I had another friend taking the same course at the same time so that helped as well.

I was trying to finish school faster, and I enrolled at StraighterLine. With StraighterLine, you're on your own. And if you're a person who can work by yourself, it's okay. The books are really not user-friendly, and you have to call them on how to figure out the website. And then, I have no idea who the instructors are. The instructor or, at least, somebody to talk to needs to be available. I had two more classes, so I just canceled because it was going to be too stressful having no directions. The program needs some overhauling.

My GPA was a little low and my enrollment counselor at WGU recommended StraighterLine. I did a variety of courses. I knew the program I wanted to study, but I picked and took some classes that I wanted to get out of the way. I liked the self-pace and studied non-stop so I could get stuff done faster. I could change it too if I can't schedule, so it was very helpful. I'd tell others to go with StraighterLine.

I was told by my adviser that with StraighterLine, things would be easier as I go which was what I was looking forward to and having everything done at my own pace was something that I really liked. I was able to take classes that I wanted to learn more about. The classes were great and I loved them. But I had a really bad experience with them and decided to cancel my membership because I hadn’t gotten confirmation of any more classes that I could take and that my account was cancelled. When I hit to cancel my subscription, there were two arrows that went in a circle and then it finally said, "You have successfully cancelled your membership," but it kept spinning. I even left my computer up and I was like, "What is going on?" So I tried to redo and refresh but it still kept spinning. So I just assumed it automatically went through and maybe something was just going on.

I needed to take a class for my job and I can complete the class as fast as I wanted with StraighterLine. I also found their price to be appealing. During admissions, someone on the online chat helped answer my questions about timeline and if I could go as fast as I wanted to once I had a series of time to do it. Then, their e-textbook is helpful. StraighterLine is straightforward, you can do it on your own time, and the proctoring is good and simple. They're a good resource if you need to take some extra classes. And if there's ever continuing I need to do, I would use them again.

Very helpful in completing my degree. Nothing bad to say, other than the only thing I would change is the dashboard can be glitchy at times which can be frustrating when trying to complete your work. Glad I took classes through StraighterLine, very helpful to my future.

I was almost close to graduating and I needed a Humanities credit but I just couldn't pass Humanities. I didn't want to take the class again and I wanted to do something fast. The lady from my school suggested to go to StraighterLine and once she told me what it was, I went to the website. I liked it so much that I took all the courses that I could take because it was cheap, whereas in my school, it was $100 a class.

I never write a review a company after a bad experience because I work at a call center and I deal with frustrated customer consistently, but my experience at StraighterLine has been the worse. Today I was scheduled to have my final exam for my business ethics class; I have a 99% in it, I just need to finish the final exam to get credit. Which, I thought was great, I had studied all week for it, I got a babysitter for my son, got someone to cover my shift at work. I was going to ace this exam; I logged in extra early to check that my device was compatible, at that time I got the green light in every section, bam, almost ready... Next thing I know it's test time. I log in, still five minutes early, and I wait until I can start the test.

I enrolled in Western Governors University's teaching program and I had some prerequisites that I had to meet. WGU partnered with StraighterLine to allow people who need prerequisites for their program to take courses from there and then transfer them over. I was referred to them and I was very satisfied with my experience. I like the fact that I could pay for my own classes individually and then move along when I was done. It was quick. StraighterLine is very economical and very affordable overall because one can control how much time they spend there based on how quickly they can get through courses and how well they apply themselves. Just be consistent and set the same time everyday then stick to it.

I needed a transfer credit quickly. I found StraighterLine through a nursing blog post and I decided to enroll with them when the transfer credit was accepted. Upon coming in, I knew my specific area of study. I just did the courses that were provided through Acrobatics and I didn't sign up for the ones that had the professor. At StraighterLine, the student has to do self-pacing through the course.

I needed an American History class and StraighterLine was the easiest way to get it done quickly, especially for a working mom. It was very convenient. I did everything online, which I liked because of its flexibility, and it was a self-taught class. It was also cost-effective. It was a nice experience.

I took this class because it was cheap compared to UOP which wanted almost $1400 for same class but had a teacher with it. The StraighterLine course was all multiple choice and quizzes were open book. How hard could it be? Well you really do get what you pay for and in StraighterLine's case it is very very little. They advertise each class as $74 but that does not include the $99 monthly fee which they charge you automatically. You have to go back into their system and cancel your "membership" if you don't want them to keep charging you. I even told the system to Not keep my credit card on file. Well guess what? They did it anyway. 2 weeks into it I was going to drop the class and move over to UOP because I was afraid I wasn't going to pass and I was so alone. I did not anticipate how alone I would feel. I was desperate for interaction. Someone to say, “Hey wait.” I didn't get that.

I was at the end of my degree program with Strayer and I had some Electives I needed to take. When I was looking on the Strayer website, I didn't see any Electives listed and they suggested that I go through StraighterLine because it would be faster and lesser money. Everything I took through StraighterLine was kind of like Elective-type. Nutrition was one and then Student Success was another, and then the last one was Western culture. I was really trying to be dedicated to my lessons because it was really easy to not look at it since you go at your own pace. So, it helped that I found my dedication and made sure that I logged in and did the lessons. I've already recommended StraighterLine to a couple of people who were at Strayer, too.

I'm in college right now and I switched my major from Medical Assisting to Business. I basically had to get a business degree in two semesters instead of four because I'm at Monroe College, which is a two-year college, and I play baseball here. So, I can only play baseball here for two years and I have to scadoot out of here after this year. So, I talked with one of my counselors and he mentioned StraighterLine. I then set up my account and did everything I had to do with StraighterLine, and that was very easy. So far, I've completed three classes there and I'm currently finishing my fourth one. I have to be persistent and make sure that I understand and learn the material. Even though it is fairly simple, I still have to know the material in order to pass the quizzes. It has been very convenient with StraighterLine and the proctoring has been cool.

StraighterLine is a good option for a single parent like me who wants to further his education. It’s very convenient and the prices are affordable for the most part. The setup of the website was easy to understand once you figure it out. Western Governors University told me the prerequisite courses that I had to take and I went and picked the courses from StraighterLine. I’m working on my fourth career and I have already learned how to study. For me, it’s easier to just go through the books, read it quickly and highlight the most important part, and then take the test. Using the presentations could be for someone who was having a hard time to understand, but they were too short.

StraighterLine was affordable. And the staff and my teachers were very helpful. I also liked the study guide. I had a good experience, and I'd recommend StraighterLine.

StraighterLine is not for everybody but should anyone want to go for it, then just focus and study; dedicate time to studying and then take those tests.

StraighterLine was the only place that offered the class I needed. It was convenient and I loved being able to work at my own pace. StraighterLine is an easy way to get your classes knocked out of your basics before you go to your major.

I had to get some credit to be admitted to my school and they pointed me to StraighterLine. Being a successful student there was a lot of work and reading. And I did my own independent work and studying. It was not like I have a teacher or a class, I just watch the videos and read the book but they made their tests really difficult and in a test I took, I saw incorrect answers or options. Their tests were really arbitrary and so I had to know every last little thing. And some things that they asked, I’m not even sure that they were actually in the book. Although the book was like 500 pages. It was not easy trying to expedite my learning. If I just wanted to make a 70%, it would be all right, but I want to make an A and it was a lot of reading. It's supposed to be a faster method but it was really slow if I want to get good letter grades.

StraighterLine has an online program that fulfilled some requirements for WGU. The classes were great. It's very easy. There's a lot of good things about it and was very efficient. I would do it again if I had to. My only complaint was being able to get someone on the online chat or get someone by phone or email quickly. They weren't that accessible. I was trying to cancel and I didn't realize how easy it was actually to do it online. When I finally was able to cancel it myself they charged me. I tried to get someone on chat or someone by email to refund the amount because it was charged on the day that I was trying to cancel and I was trying to cancel before that. At first they said, "No." But then I emailed back again and they graciously did refund me. I was very happy that they resolved it. Nevertheless, I would tell my friend that StraighterLine is efficient and easy to navigate.

StraighterLine is efficient and very progressive. You're able to get credits for the time limit that you have, and it’s very inexpensive. My wife was finishing up her last course and she did two courses on a 30-day period. They were very good about being able to be contacted and they made themselves available in all aspects. I'd advise others to take a course there if their school accepts StraighterLine courses. They should just make sure that they maintain their studies and use all the materials and resources that StraighterLine has. They should also spend six to 12 hours a week on each course. I’m considering taking some StraighterLine courses as well.

StraighterLine is perfect for somebody who's a working adult, has a family and has a life. I also considered the cost. At StraighterLine, I went at my own pace so I finished as I wanted to. The convenience part of things was helpful. I had an issue with the proctoring thing though. It was my first time ever doing that online proctor and it was different. I was surprised that they had that with an open book exam. But even prior to actually getting into the exam, I had an issue getting on to the website so I could access the camera. I contacted someone via the chat box but I was given the wrong number to the proctoring service. That's probably my biggest complaint. But I understand things happen and I could've started a couple of days earlier as far as making sure my computer works properly. Nonetheless, my experience with StraighterLine was great.

I was working full time and the own pace at StraighterLine looked more appealing to me, and it was a better choice. I talked with a couple of student advisers over the course who were very helpful and were able to guide me in the right direction. Being able to devote the time I needed before taking the tests was the key to being successful at StraighterLine. However, the material covered in the final exam, like in a couple of the courses, was never covered in any of the previous midterms or assessments. It was very difficult to pass the final exams. I had a 50 on one of the final exams because I had never seen the material before. But even if it was difficult, it was still a good experience overall. I would tell my friends to use it if they need to get some courses or hours under their belt. It’s definitely a great avenue because you can move as fast or as slow as you want.

I needed credits and going to StraighterLine was the best way because I'm graduating with my masters already. I'm also busy and couldn't go to school physically. Watching the videos helped me as they read them aloud to you. I had a good experience with StraighterLine and I'd tell friends to use them.

I needed a few credits to catch up for graduation and furthering my education through StraighterLine was the fastest way that I could get it done. StraighterLine was basically my pace and they were affordable. I could do it online and I had to go somewhere to get it done. They helped match me up as well. They basically walked me through to say this one can replace this one. And then, when I talked to the people there at StraighterLine, they were very helpful. I was able to get it done with no real effort.

I only needed one I only needed one course credit for my elective and my current school told me about StraighterLine. I looked at their pricing and everything worked out, and the price attracted me to taking a course there. Also, I could do the assignments and testing at my own pace. In addition, it was easy to navigate around their website and understand the videos that I would watch and how to do the modules. I’m a stay-at-home mom and I have one kid at home with me, so being able to work at my own time helped a lot. I successfully took the test for the course and passed my transcript to my current school. I definitely would recommend StraighterLine.

StraighterLine is great if you’re looking to graduate as soon as possible and I was trying to graduate faster. At StraighterLine, I knew my specific area of study on my own and I did everything all by myself. I like everything about StraighterLine in general. But the only thing that I don’t like is, in case you want to cancel your membership, you can’t do it. That happened to me one time. When I tried to cancel my membership, I had to call and ask them through, and I couldn’t do anything because I did not have an internet address. It was a little bit of a problem but I got over it. To be successful as a student at StraighterLine, you should be dedicated. You’re on your own and there’s nobody to help you. Just study and then do the work in taking the exams. Right now, I still have to take two exams.

StraighterLine was faster and it wasn't as expensive. In fact, it was very cost-effective. I first heard of them from school and at that time, I already knew what I had to take. However, it was hard to talk to somebody there when I needed help. StraighterLine wouldn't answer or call back. I had to keep calling constantly for a day or two to get a hold of somebody. Other than that, you have to pace everything and not take too much on to be successful there. While you can skip over and just go straight to the quizzes, I found that if you do that, you won't do too well on the quizzes.

I was looking for some online courses and I found StraighterLine through some researching online. I looked into furthering my education through them as it had to do mainly with my graduation from my four-year school. I wanted to be able to graduate this coming May and the course was able to give me one of the final requirements I needed for my graduation. As a student, the self-paced work and being able to work at my own speed and time, but still having all the tools and tutoring to be able to work through was really appealing. I had a good timeframe to be able to do it, and it was definitely beneficial for me to be able to balance the rest of the things that was going on with work and other courses.

I heard about StraighterLine from my Union Institute & University student assistant rep. I brought up to him that there's got to a cheaper way just to do the General Ed and he said they have a sister company or a partner company called StraighterLine, which is a super cheap way to get Gen Ed accomplished and they accept the credits very easily. And StraighterLine was certainly far more affordable than Union. My guy at Union Institute & University knew what I needed and he gave me my options. And then, I went on to StraighterLine and picked my options out of the ones I knew I needed.

I had to get some prereqs done, so I took a class through StraighterLine, so I can enroll in WGU. StraighterLine is very affordable, convenient and flexible. Classes are online and you do everything online, so you don’t have to go and take night or weekend classes. Anytime I had any questions, I was able to get a hold of someone immediately and they resolved whatever technical issues or other issues with the course. So, I would recommend them.

I was getting ready for my network class and security class exams and I heard about Western Governor's University. While I was doing the Western Governor's University my best friend told me to apply. I went into the program guide and over there I saw their list of partners and I saw SraighterLine. I then went to different forums. I was trying to decide which one is the best to get a transfer school. I also saw the StraighterLine scholarship, that if you complete four or more classes with them, you get a scholarship.

I was referred to StraighterLine by WGU, which was my first choice. They recommended I take some classes for my prerequisites so that's what I ended up doing. The time constraints, that was a huge factor but StraighterLine was fantastic. It was completely online. The course material was difficult but good. Moreover, I absolutely loved the program. It was flexible and I was able to work at my own pace, whether it would be taking a class within a week or a month, depending on the difficulty of the material.

I've already recommended StraighterLine to other people. With StraighterLine, it doesn't take that long to complete a class to get college credit which I needed for my job. I really enjoyed the fact that I could do it on my own time and that it was easy. It is self-training type of information and to be successful, you have to make sure that you're paying attention to the material that they're offering throughout the process. They have tutoring and other little materials that you can study. Read through the resources carefully and take detailed notes. Every time I had questions, they also gave me the answers I needed.

I studied at StraighterLine for convenience and because of their price. They have competency based training and basically in a nutshell I finished my fifth course through them. I turned in a lab report of the bio class and I forgot to put my name and the lab number so I got a zero on it, which it didn’t matter to me because I got an 84 in the class and got the transcript.

StraighterLine has fixed amount per course. That was probably the biggest thing. And I wanted to get through as many credits as I was able to for a fixed rate. Through the partnership with WGU, I compared the classes that I had left on the program that I was going to take. And then, I took all the ones that I would actually transfer in. I interacted with their customer service to get questions answered as the problems generated in the whole transcript. But other than that, it was pretty much all on my own. Putting in the time was the key to being a successful student at StraighterLine. People should have a class that they'll be able to devote the time to it and actually go for it. I'm sure that derailed a lot of people and just thinking that they could spend 20 minutes on it at a time.

I wanted to quickly finish my degree and my university student counselor recommended StraighterLine to me. At StraighterLine, I was able to do my coursework at home while my kids were sleeping, so studying there was very convenient and comfortable for me to do. Knowing the specific area of study that I was going in for was something that I did all by myself. My experience with StraighterLine has been very nice. Everything was perfect and I really liked that. To be successful as a student there, do lots of reading in your spare time.

I applied at WGU and they said I didn’t have enough credits so they wanted me to take some at StraighterLine. I learned a lot in their courses. The program itself was easy to navigate and pretty much self-explanatory. I just did it all on my own which wasn’t too hard and if I couldn't figure something out, I go back to it . Everything was good. Then I transferred the credits over and WGU accepted me after that. I would tell my friend to go with StraighterLine if they have the discipline to sit there and do it.

I was taking classes at Strayer but I wanted to see about graduating quicker. I looked for classes at StraighterLine that I could take quicker. My counselor at Strayer told me what class to take. I had to understand the material on my own to get to what I needed to do so it was more of teaching myself things. It was a very simple process and someone who has taken online classes before would be able to follow. It was not something very hard to do.

When I needed extra credits University of Phoenix referred me to StraighterLine. Their prices were a lot cheaper than Phoenix so I prefer to go through StraighterLine than paying three times as much at Phoenix. I signed up with them online and took the extra credits I needed. With them I liked that I do everything at my own pace. I recommended it to my friend and told her that she can get it done even with having kids. Plus it’s just $90 fee monthly so the faster she gets it done the lesser money she pays.

At StraighterLine, I go at my own pace. I've called them a few times and talked to different people. All of them were helpful. I like the access that I have anywhere and when I needed help, it was available. They told me which specific courses I have to take and I just chose those. It was a good program and I wish I had known about it previously so that I would have taken more classes there. I have recommended StraighterLine a lot.
