The idea that I would be able to further my education from home and that I could finish at my own speed appealed to me. So, I went with StraighterLine. I had already taken the course that I took through StraighterLine through a community college and I felt like it was just a waste of time to go through another community college when I felt like I knew most of what's being taught. On the other hand, at StraighterLine, I was able to finish the course faster at my own level of how much I already knew the subject. Since the student is not in a class, it's easy to just procrastinate. So, prioritizing is what I found to be the key in becoming a successful student at StraighterLine. Overall, this school is great. If I ever come across needing to do a course again or to repeat in a course, I would definitely go to them.

I had a good experience at StraighterLine. They were cheaper, and I was able to take their courses while I was taking my other classes. When I was doing the courses, I learned that I needed to study more when taking tests online. I usually do not answer multiple choice questions through my school, but with StraighterLine, I had to.

I loved StraighterLine’s price and how easy the process was. I liked how all was laid out where I could do everything from home and do the course. My counselor was really helpful. You just have to do your work to be successful.

I needed one credit to graduate and I heard about StraighterLine from my student adviser. It was pre-approved by my school for my needed credit. All of the assignments were created in a timely manner, but my biggest concern was the amount of time considering that StraighterLine is a membership program and I wanted to minimize my cost while still getting the credit I needed.

With an online course like StraighterLine, I could proceed as quickly as I wanted to. I also found it appealing that I could do the course from the comfort of my house. Time management is the key to being a successful student at StraighterLine.

I was looking for a class which I could do online that wasn’t as expensive and StraighterLine popped up. When I called them and asked, they said that I could take courses in there. However, they were not upfront with me. They had told me that the courses would straight up transfer, but it turned out that they don't transfer to any other university. StraighterLine is a great place to go if you're looking for educational benefit. But, if you're trying to earn credits college-wise, don't go there.

I had a great experience at StraighterLine. They were easy to navigate and the cost was cheap. I applied for General Ed for some sciences and did 19 credits. I had success working with them by getting it done in a short and timely manner.

StraighterLine will be able to help you. It is the best method to catch up on your credits if you're slow. In fact, I have recommended it to a couple of friends. I was trying to get my associate’s degree and I needed to catch up on credits myself. The fact that, with StraighterLine, I would have a proctor at the end was something that popped up to me. A lot of online classes don’t do that. They gave me pages from a book too. I liked the fact that they gave me eText so I could review everything I needed to for my test. Then one time, I was having a typical issue with my computer. It was acting up. A technician came and helped me out, and I was able to complete my class.

I like StraighterLine. It was so much helpful to improve my knowledge in easy way, especially when it was online. I had so much stress in my school taking some classes as an international student. I like that they are in partnership with my university, the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Also, they transfer the credit fast. I like its flexibility on when I can get the test, when can I study for the quizzes or for assignments. The teacher, all through the course, helped us study. If only they have more classes in Arabic language and also some business courses, or some courses with certificate especially in aviation and aviation safety, I would really need that. But I recommended StraighterLine to so many people. We have a group in Facebook and they kept asking how are the courses in StraighterLine. I just keep saying to them to study there, it's much better. My friends are taking classes this semester there because of me.

I applied at WGU but I didn’t have any previous college credits and in order to go there, you need some college credits. They referred me to Straighterline where I took Health Class and Government, and both of them went really well. They were easy to navigate and the tests were challenging and very relevant. I had a really good experience and I was really impressed.

DO NOT buy this trash! I was referred to this "college" via Eastern Virginia Career College because I was told "You need a chemistry class to get accepted into the RN program". I was told several students took the entire course in a weekend... yeah okay... I was told the tests were based on the slideshows and that the test book reading was to gain additional informal. The slide shows have quizzes after then, you take the quizzes and think you know everything only to take the test and fail. This chemistry class is about to drown you. The e-text book is TRASH, I hope you're good at memorizing everything. I have put in 3 requests for help, 2 have been deleted, I just put in the third request. THERE IS NO TEACHER. The free tutoring in nonexistent. The "live chat" never works...

I needed some additional courses for the degree I was pursuing and StraighterLine was very helpful in finding the right tools for me to use and to aid me in completing the programs that I chose. Their customer service was excellent. Once you call them, they try to answer. If they don’t, they would call back if they were not sure. You don't have to purchase books which is attached to each program because they have the online book which is beneficial for me. However, once you’re in the program and you have to continue, you would discover the fee. Nevertheless, I would recommend StraighterLine to a friend.

The University of Western States accepts credits for classes from StraightLine. I had to take up biology, anatomy and physiology and StraightLine's completely online option was really good. It was very easy to sign up, take classes, and navigate through the system. I was, however, a little irritated once I finished a class. I couldn't immediately take the test without having to pay extra for that and a proctor. It was annoying that I had to wait a week to take the test, to pay more to take the test early. Also, the self-paced classes were a little tougher for me. I generally do better when there are deadlines and a structure to get it done, and I didn't have those. Nevertheless, some people really can do well without having that structure. Overall, it was a great place to get some prerequisites done.

I was interested in limiting how many classes I have to take during my senior year. It's pretty pricey at the university I go to if I want to do anything over the summer. My younger sister took courses for the same college we went to and she told me how StraighterLine worked. Also, StraighterLine is accredited with my school for the course that I took, so by taking Philosophy with them, I was able to have an easier time last semester. I was able to do it for 5% of the cost. However, for college students that are looking or weighing their options, promotions for a buy-one-class, get-one-free or a discounted membership for the first month would be attractive for them as it always comes down to price.

StraighterLine is a really good website. It works with my schedule and my time with them is spent very well. I got into Microbiology and compared to other schools, I could ask as many questions to the professor if I didn't know what I was doing. Some professors in other colleges just go ahead and keep talking and don't specify things to students. I can also research if I don't know what I'm doing and they give me a little example on how to go about my experiment.

I'm a disabled vet and through some illnesses and having children and back and forth not finishing, I got tired of not having my degree. I heard about StraighterLine, which was 15 minutes from my house, from the dean at the school. I needed to finish and I had five weeks, so in order to graduate with my class I needed two classes and I took those at StraighterLine. StraighterLine gave me the time that I needed. It was a little stressful because I was on a break but then the other classes started again. If I had questions, I would always get somebody different, but they were all very helpful. They always say that no question is a dumb question. I was doing four classes at once but I got it done. If you are trying to finish, you need to take StraighterLine.

I was attending the University of Louisiana Monroe in Northeast Louisiana. There were a few classes I needed and the only way to take them was through StraighterLine. I took two foreign languages- Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. I tried to do it at ULM, on campus, but I made a D and failed. I work full-time so I can't go in a classroom anymore. StraighterLine worked with my schedule. It was a lot less stressful than taking the regular class online or on campus. It was also way cheaper and I didn't have to pay out-of-pocket. However, all they have is Spanish 1 and 2, but maybe one day, they can gain more classes, like French.

StraighterLine was referred to me by Ashford University, so I could finish my degree. The admissions team knew exactly how to answer my question. It was fast and easy. The emails that I got from time to time containing motivation or inspiration from previous students to keep going helped me. Things like that helped me throughout the quick time because they're self-paced. It helps to have something in the back of your head from people that have already done it. Some of the questions back on the test didn't really coincide with some of the tests. But other than that, it's a great program. I graduated last month and I've told a couple of people about StraighterLine.

I like StraighterLine. It’s convenient. One of my success advisors at Strayer University told me about it. I'm taking up business administration with a minor in project management, and the classes are expensive at Strayer by itself, so they recommended StraighterLine. The price and the easy paced classes appealed to me. Having all the resources available to complete the work helped me, and I like how StraighterLine just put it all in one spot. The schedule of classes are pretty flexible and it's easy to schedule. I didn't like the proctoring type because you have to schedule it and you gotta get the webcam right. But that’s the standard, so it's okay. If you don't have the financial aids to complete it all at Strayer, then you should try to go to StraighterLine. It's quick, accessible, and affordable.

StraighterLine was easy to me and it was cheaper, and I went in there already with a plan. I was at the end of my degree so I already knew what I needed, and they happened to offer those courses. The flexibility of working at my own paces and the electronic materials, as well as being able to access them whenever I needed it from wherever I needed, helped me become successful at StraighterLine. I highly recommend it to people who have a set plan and know whatever that they need. It can be beneficial to get the course and some credits at a little cheaper rate with a little more flexibility than normal schools.

I'm currently enrolled in school at my program, and I just needed to take a few Gen Ed classes. My school director referred me to StraighterLine. The timing they have there was great for me. I loved that I was able to do the program on my own time and at my own pace. I also like the fact that the program came with a book and I didn't have to purchase it. I applied to Western Governor’s University and they recommended that I take a couple of courses at StraighterLine. What appealed to me about them was the cost factor as it was super affordable. Another factor was that you could kind of go at your own pace. There was also a scholarship at my school if I took four classes and pass them at StraighterLine. So, I signed up with them. I was able to get a course requirement for the degree that I’m going to complete from WGU and then I got the transfer equivalencies from StraighterLine. I picked four basic classes to take that are pre-requisite courses.

One of my counselors at WGU suggested StraighterLine if I wanted to get done with a class within a certain timeframe. I looked into it and saw "end of enrollment" in those classes. I wanted Statistics 2, but there was an issue with if it was gonna transfer over. He was saying it was, but then he looked into it and found out that it wouldn't. The cost was appealing and way cheaper than others.

I needed to have 24 Math, Science and Chemistry credits for a scholarship and they didn’t care where it came from. It just needed to be an accredited university. Some people have taken StraighterLine, and they enjoyed it, so I went along with that. It was very easy to sign up for classes and it was so convenient. However, for the chemistry lab, the program that they use for evaluating the pictures can be wonky sometimes. So, if they would explain a little bit of some of the errors that people had for troubleshooting with that program, that would be nice, because I had some issues with that. Still, it was a good place to go. It was all online and you can pace yourself. If you wanna finish it in a month, don’t wait until three weeks or one week left. You have to try and do a little bit every day.

I had a really busy schedule and studying through StraighterLine was easy for me to fit into my summer schedule. It was all online and I didn't have to attend lectures. It was all straightforward material and what I needed was right there and even though I was assigned an instructor, I never went to them asking for help. But there are certain things I would've remembered if I heard it from another individual but I have been taking courses since I've been in school and it has all been on me to prepare for the exam. Also, the courses are done so much faster and even though it's self-paced, I take it all as fast as I could.

My other classmates at college said that StraighterLine was good and not too expensive. I took up a college algebra class and the video quality was old. It’s monotonous, the teacher was old, and they use old projectors in the videos too. StraighterLine needs to revamp it a little. Other than that, I like that I could go at my own pace and take my time with it. I could go over the material again and retake my first quiz to get a feel for how the quizzes are.

Going with StraighterLine is a great way for people who haven't started school or to get back into it if they're looking to further their education again. I'm an athlete and if I'm short on hours, I usually take the courses to try to get the hours to be eligible for the semester or for the following semester or the following season. I liked StraighterLine's price which was really cheap and affordable. Plus, you didn't have a time limit to do your work in it. So, I enrolled with them and at the time, I kinda knew what classes I needed to take. They were a bunch of my basics that I haven't done yet, so I took them to get them out of the way, then I started on my major classes for school. Everything was pretty self-explanatory at StraighterLine. I just went in, did what I was supposed to, and got done. I finished the course within a month and it was really fast and easy. I was working on it every day to get it done and out of the way.

Phoenix said they were partnering with StraighterLine, so that was convenient. I could also transfer credits over quickly. Plus it was cheaper and it's self-paced. I was referred to their website but I did the rest on my own. I've only done one thing so far but it was successful because of the self-pacing piece.

I am so upset that I wasted my time and money with this. The accreditation is fake, the customer service was terrible and rude, the academics themselves were simply just bad and I'm beyond disappointed. Again it's a SCAM. Don't do it!!

My field of study is nursing and before I start studying at the university, I wanted to get some easy credits out of the way. I did that with StraighterLine since I liked the fact that I could do the whole thing in my own time. But the only thing that I found difficult was the proctor exam. I had to get on a desktop, then they wanted to see the area around my desk, and I even had to go and get a mirror. That was a lot. But other than that, everything else was easy. I would definitely recommend StraighterLine to people who need to get some of their courses out of the way or to those who don't have the time to do these at their school.

My experience with StraighterLine has been okay. A friend told me about them and I decided to enroll with them to save money. Obviously, the money factor was appealing to me as a prospective student. The enrollment process wasn't difficult at all. Studying there is a self-help process, so you have to do your due diligence and be disciplined about what you're trying to achieve. If you wanna do something in an efficient manner on your time, then that's the route you should take. StraighterLine is definitely an alternative process for someone that has a busy schedule.

Furthering my education through StraighterLine was something that I could do on my own time and that was wonderful. The enrollment process was easy. I took Algebra which was the only course that I needed. I took this course with one of the professors and he was really good and very helpful. He got back with my questions within a day or so. His syllabus was very helpful. In addition, the way he set up his classroom and the other tutorials and materials he posted were very helpful in explaining whatever I wasn't understanding.

I wanted to get a couple of courses under my belt prior to starting WGU. StraighterLine's enrollment process was fine. You have to be an independent learner at StraighterLine. Nobody's gonna sit there and hold your hands and really teach anything. I was happy with StraighterLine.

StraighterLine is a great program. Everything is easy to do and the work is not bad. Also, you save a lot of money going there versus going through a regular school, paying $1,700 per class when you can pay like $200, $300, $400 out of pocket. That is gonna help in the long run. The only thing I did not like was the testing. They ask so many things like having to be in the room alone. But other than that, it was pretty good.

I have been required to do the General Education classes and taking it traditionally would take about four months or a full semester. A consultant from my university recommended StraighterLine to me and I like the convenience of timing and location. It's also very affordable and they are quick in responding to their students. I was amazed too at how quickly the transcript was sent to my university. I recommend StraighterLine to everyone.

Learning about StraighterLine through Western Governor University, I found it appealing knowing that students may work at their own pace and timeframe, and then complete any course. The application was user-friendly as well as the program, as a whole, and StraighterLine was responsive when I needed assistance. The online experience was also easy to manage and being a working parent it was easy to jump on and work at my own pace to complete the course.

I needed an elective course and StraighterLine was quick, inexpensive and an easy way to get credits. I picked something that seemed interesting to me and read through the modules. It was easy to be on my own. I heard about StraighterLine from my advisor and I am very satisfied.

Their courses were right along with the courses I needed and I was able to match with the numbers. Then, once I got the approval from my school and since I had the right classes, I went ahead. I would definitely recommend them and if I need to get more classes in, I would definitely reach back out to them.

I was trying to do some pre-reqs to get my RN. I looked into StraighterLine and I liked their price and the self-pace. I did all the test-out options, and I had a very nice experience. I would encourage the use of the organization.

I was trying to transfer to a college and I needed a few placement levels to get the grades I needed to actually get accepted. The advisor over there told me about StraighterLine because they do business with the college. I could go into the college and take my placement test or I could take the four-week class and get a college credit for it and a placement test. It was like hitting two birds with one stone. I took the English Comp and Algebra class, and I got college credits for it. It was all done online and it was self-study. I didn't ask for any tutor. It's self-paced but if you wanna get done in a reasonable time, you got to be consistent in putting in your time. I would definitely recommend Straighterline.

I was going to attend the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery but there was one course that I needed that I hadn't taken before I could get into the school, so they referred me to StraighterLine. I like that it was online. I also like the layout of the course and that you can choose how long you are in a class for. If someone needs more time, they're able to and if you can work quickly, you're able to do that as well. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. StraighterLine is a lot more affordable and I would definitely recommend them.

But StraighterLine was overall cheaper and they are credited for a lot of different schools so I felt comfortable enough taking the courses online there. The university I go to suggested StraighterLine to me. I like it because the deadlines are more flexible, I can pretty much take the test when I want to take it. I took 8 classes. The staff members were good. I found that going through the text, and studying it right before you take the test really makes a difference.

StraighterLine was reasonably priced and they let you work with the time. My course was very usable and they put me at the grade point I was looking for. However, the process part felt like someone was in there watching me and it was kinda strange. It made me feel uncomfortable while I was taking the test. Christopher was my monitor when I took my first test and he stayed on it. He was pretty cool and helped me out a lot. I told him my situation and he made sure I got everything I needed to do to complete the course.

StraighterLine had a course that I needed and I was able to pass it with a C. It's simple and easy to enroll in StraighterLine, and you can earn college credit by doing an online course.

My friend took StraighterLine before and I needed to take classes again to graduate. If you fail a test, you couldn't take it again. You could with some of them but it was kinda hard. StraighterLine is a great way to take a college class and to be successful, you need to pay attention when you take your test.

I go to Strayer University and StraighterLine is affiliated with them. So, I had to do some outside courses. Strayer gave me a list of classes that I need to choose from and I just went on there and did it. I liked that I am able to do it at my own pace. The only complaint that I had was I took a psychology class and I felt like the material wasn't based on the final and I failed. I went in with a high score of 98% and I completely bombed it. Now, I don't have a choice but to retake it. All the other classes were good but that one. But despite that, I would definitely recommend it.

I'm a student at Vassar and I have to take a couple more classes at StraighterLine. The enrollment process at StraighterLine was simple. When I started, I pretty much had all of my credits except for my electives. I liked that studying there was a lot less expensive than a regular class and I could do it at my own pace. But you gotta read the textbooks and watch the slides, and it can't just be one or the other. One thing, though, is that after you take the test and the quizzes, you are told which ones you got wrong but you are not given the right answers. I would have liked to have been able to go back through my tests and quizzes to reread the questions and see what I got wrong and what the correct answers should have been, so I could learn better that way. But other than that, the one class I did at StraighterLine was good, beneficial and had a lot of information, so I was impressed.

I had to complete two courses in order to be eligible to play basketball. My coach had a recent feedback with StraighterLine so he introduced me to it. It was helpful especially with the e-textbooks and tutorials. The customer service staff was meaningful and understood my situation. To be successful, you have to be persistent with doing your work and you don’t want to ever fall behind so always stay ahead. StraighterLine gives you the credits that you need to go to your university and it’s not a bad online course to take so people should go for it.

I chose StraighterLine because financially it’s cheaper to get my electives through them than through somebody else. The rep I spoke to when I had a screen was pleasant and answered all my questions. Also, I liked that I got to take over if I wanted to boost my grade up a little bit and I liked the assignments that were helpful although they weren’t credited. Everything went well for me.

StraighterLine was cheaper to use and I needed it. I had a few courses that I could have done to help my GED out. Enrolling with them was super easy and I knew exactly what I needed to study. All I did was just type my credit card number in, then I went on my DCP and I typed in Google what courses from StraighterLine that could be substitute on the courses up, and then I did my institution in it, so it showed me. I just wished that they had more courses in my degree. But I liked StraighterLine, I could get the work done as soon as possible because it's all online.

My college adviser told me that I can take a class over at StraighterLine because it’s very easy and affordable and I can do it online. Since I am a mom, I cannot go to school right now. So it was very convenient for me to select a class and study at home. All I needed was one prerequisite and it was my choice. I called StraighterLine because I couldn’t find a specific unit and I had some help from an assistant who sent me the link to the class. In the end, I took the class and everything was fine. I had a nice experience at StraighterLine and I would recommend this class.

I was able to get through a lot of courses at StraighterLine and it was very reasonable. I also did what I needed to do within a month so, that was a plus. You should not give up and practice time management to be successful. It’s not gonna get done if you don’t devote the time.

Excellent college must study put the time in for success. I give the school 5 stars. Many private colleges and universities will accept their credits especially they understand transferring to one of their schools spending more money. This school will help save you time and money. I recommend it 100 percent. I have attended Phoenix Online, Stanislaus State and other universities. The standards for excellence at this school is hands down the best online classes.

I’m at the end of my degree in Social Work and I needed the credits to finish it so I can apply for my master's program. Through my school, Liberty University, I found out about StraighterLine and took two business courses there about business organization and intro to business. I learned a lot in those classes to help me run the business I own. I was also able to finish both courses in two weeks. I zoomed through the course and it was great to be able to finish them in the timeline that I wanted. I just got all the information that I needed and took the exams for both and that was it. It was an easy, smooth and good experience. And I'm gonna be taking two more classes with StraighterLine in a few weeks.

I'm in the nursing program and going to StraighterLine was more feasible with my time, so it was perfect. Everybody was really nice and willing to help every time I called. I only took the lab but if I had a new question, the lecturers were available. I loved the experience.

Straighter Line is the perfect option for those working and trying to continue their education. You can do things on your own terms with no pressure. The videos were very helpful and to the point. Would absolutely recommend to those looking to further their education.

I truly enjoyed course content and structure. And the self-paced option serves me well for this course. However, being billed an extra month because I hadn’t ‘unsubscribed’ with no option of a refund made me so mad. Make this part obvious, and make s big unsubscribe button. This half-scamming doesn’t serve your company.

I heard about StraighterLine through my guidance counselor at school and when I graduated in May, I was missing two credits. I did it so I could finish my credits and get my diploma. It was convenient because it was online and you could handle it whenever you want to. I can do it at night or in the morning or whenever I wake up. It wasn’t a rush and I had a lot of time which made me feel comfortable.

I wanted to do the nursing pre-licensure and as I was going through their prerequisites, I clicked on the different programs and I saw StraighterLine on those prerequisites. StraighterLine is one of the more flexible options and more cost-effective. Every single one of the staff members was meaningful in my journey and they were excellent. I used my instructor for many courses that I took with StraighterLine and I had a positive experience. There was only one course I didn’t take with StraighterLine, but StraighterLine was my very first choice. Their customer service reps and student advisers were all on point and were all very cooperative.

I had two elective classes before graduation and StraighterLine was cheaper so I took my classes from there. I like their price and the girls that attend the phone. They are very nice, they always answer the phone right away if I need to talk to someone and they answer all our questions. I just wish they had a little more knowledge with the staff. I was disappointed with their instructors a bit. I tried to get feedback but they would only give me feedback when they gave me zeroes. Not that I didn’t do it my full potential, they just didn’t like what I turned in even though they should have possibly given me just a lower grade. They give 100 or nothing. I would only get feedback as to what they expected on an assignment and then once I turn it in, I never knew how I did because they would never respond to that. They just responded with a grade. Nevertheless, I would recommend StraighterLine as a single degree to the University of Phoenix.

I had to get courses done during my summer break. StraighterLine was the best option and it was the advice by one of my advisers. The class was a pre-req for my business courses so it was really helpful for me to complete my courses within the time period. And it was great to know some new courses which were not in my stream. I had a fantastic experience and everything was fine. I'm pretty much satisfied with StraighterLine's service and the interface was great too. If I had chosen some offline classes, that would have been really expensive for me. StraighterLine is a great platform. If you don't have any options to take care of your credits that do online, you must go with StraighterLine. You won't find anything better than that. I would like to do more courses next summer. I'll see if I have enough of credits and if my adviser suggests something, then I'll really do it.

I had to take another class before I graduate and StraighterLine was more convenient for me than going to the school since I had to work over the summer. The assignment was straightforward and it told you what you need to do. As any online course, you have to manage your time. Anybody can take it online, but you have to be able to learn the information yourself as opposed to someone teaching it to you and so, you have to be the type of person that likes to read and not someone who just likes to listen.

StraighterLine's prices for the courses made me decide to go with them. I already knew that I wanted to take Sociology and I did. You just need to have time management to be successful in StraighterLine. However, their courses are not accredited so I cannot enter into the school that I wanted. Nonetheless, I had a good experience with them.

My college instructor introduced me to StraighterLine. They are cheap and there are some classes that I can easily take and consolidate them to my college degree. StraighterLine is wonderful, the best. I just have to read the textbooks and make sure I prepare for each examination and the final exam. But I don't like being supervised while taking my exam online. I don't like ProctorU, the third-party that usually supervises during the final exam. I don't like the way they talk to me and the way they make me feel like I'm cheating.

They recommended that I take a CLEP test first, but I found that that was harder than the actual StraighterLine courses. So I took two CLEP tests and then two StraighterLine courses to finish my degree. The only thing I found difficult though was when I went to take my final, I didn’t know what to study. I was expecting it to be based on something so I studied some of my old credits and old tests. However, the final was completely different. I didn't have a study guide for it other than reading the entire chapter, which I did, but I didn’t know where to focus. Still, when you get your credits within a week and you put in a couple hours each day of work, you can get it done quickly. In the end, StraighterLine helped me get those Humanities credits finished up at a quick pace.

I like that with StraighterLine, we had an entire month of not having to pay extra money to finish the class. We could do the class at our own pace. We can do it all in one week if we really need to get done in a fast enough time or we can pace ourselves out. But we tried not to cram it all because we could get behind and end up having to pay for the extra month. I’m just having a hard time getting the credits transferred but still, StraighterLine is definitely a lot cheaper than taking classes at the college I go to, so that was nice.

A friend of mine in the Marine Corps who went to nursing school needed to take a course. We’ve been out of school for 10 years so he and I both were gonna have to take a Finite Math course. His school recommended StraighterLine to him and then I asked him if he had to do anything. He said he went to StraighterLine but I have to make sure that my college will accept it. I did this a month ago and I ended up passing the class and not having to take a Finite Math class again. It turned out that it was one of my required degree classes. To be successful, I watched each of the modules. I tried to do the whole “Oh, I know this,” and then take the test but that was wrong. I got the credit for College Algebra so it cut off literally two semesters at school. I'm about to go back to do two more classes just to get them knocked out of the way. If I can keep knocking semesters by doing that and saving money, I will do it.

My experience with this company has been very horrible due to the fact that you cannot even request a transcript straight from there to another school without it going through another reliable evaluating company. And they are using corrupted and inexperience proctoring company who is not trustworthy and gives wrong information which at the end affects the student tremendously.

My experience there was good and I enjoyed it. If people need some classes with transferable credits really quick, they should take these at StraighterLine.

I was looking to take some classes and my boyfriend was helping me look around. While he was researching online, he learned about StraighterLine. They were much cheaper than a lot of other sites that I had seen to take classes on, so I decided to enroll with them. Also, there were a lot of sister schools that take StraighterLine units, so it was easy to convince other colleges to take them.

The algebra course was not well presented and looked very outdated. Learning the topics required a lot of self-education using other web-based math sites that explained the concepts much better. Worst part about StraighterLine is the auto monthly charges that they provide no reminders for. Missed cancellation by a day and they refused to refund the monthly charge. This was particularly frustrating as I had only used the site a couple of times right after enrollment. Poor customer service.

They just have to make sure that the course material is in line directly with the final. I did readings for it too, like all the chapters, so I was expecting to see more of what I read on the final.

I'm enrolled at Strayer and there are students blogging about StraighterLine. I started reading up on it and doing my research about it. I've had a good experience with StraighterLine. It's a lot cheaper and shorter to take the classes through them. The admission team helped me with picking a program. They have an excellent program to be a part of and to get ahead towards a degree.

I go to Indiana Wesleyan and they told me about StraighterLine. I needed StraighterLine's elective class and I didn't want to stay in school longer. I used the program, so I could finish school. Their courses are okay, although the only thing that I don't like is some of the courses depend on what you’re taking, as well as how it's run. Everything is graded differently. I took the English course and they provided me with feedback on my paper, but the feedback wasn't really helpful. Nonetheless, I finished my course within a week.

There was a girl in one of my classes at the university who said she was enrolled at StraighterLine. However, when I approached my advisers, my direct adviser from my program told me it was not acceptable. I climbed the ranks and the registrar’s office from my university said it would be. I spent a month getting a lot of "no" until I got a yes from somebody at my university. I figured that it would take time. Also, the program I was in did not want us utilizing StraighterLine for some reason but we did anyway and my experience was amazing. I needed to get the course done quickly, even though I didn’t get it done as quickly as I needed to. It got done within a shorter period in a 16-week course and that was helpful.

StraighterLine has a program where I could work on my own. They didn't have where you had to do classwork, it was all testing. So, I could do more of the work on my own quickly and able to get through it. The classes were straightforward because they didn't have to do a lot of extra work like I have to at Liberty. And it helped me get through two classes in four weeks, which was awesome. So, I literally did Accounting 1 and Accounting 2 together, which everybody told me I would do and I did, and I got past both of them and they transferred right next to Liberty. So, it made me graduate on time and I'm graduating in May which is a little early, so it helped a lot.

AIso, I love all the feedback on all the essays. I should've done more studying, more following up and should have been more thorough with my lessons. I’ve been asked to do a three-credit English Composition course. I was looking online for any credits and figured out that a course in StraighterLine would match in my requirement so I went ahead and reached out to them. I wanted to do it much ahead of time but I was balancing out my graduate studies and the semester was on so I took a little bit of time than usual and tried to go with each topic during the summer break or during winter break. However, the way the assignments are graded can be very confusing for students and I wish there is a way I can filter that out because that’s what I exactly did.

I emailed the customer support for something and they were really helpful because I was in the hospital for a week and I couldn’t access my StraighterLine. They told me what my next steps were and what to do. I also like the proctoring. You can’t cheat your way through it and you have to make sure you really know it. They really took the time to make sure that the person owns a license.

The course was overall beneficial. It was a good refresher after taking a statistics course a year ago. It was slightly difficult learning online, but there were many problem questions and tutors available. The practice test to help prepare for the final exam was not beneficial with only eight questions; and the questions stayed the same when retaking the practice test.

The company I work for offered a discount at one point and I went with StraighterLine for the ease of use. Looking across how much time it takes to go through more of a traditional avenue versus something that is non-traditional and to be able to get some quick credits, the most beneficial thing as a potential student was speed. I didn’t like the fact that it charges you $100 every month if you’re not done with your course. It was a waste of money and time for me, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, because they aren’t transferrable to any college. These courses aren’t WASC.

I took 3 classes and will be taking one more class. I really like the fact I can work at my own pace. Some of the course were little challenging but they were easy to get through because you have the flexibility to work at your own pace. I love the fact these class are 100 time half the price I pay at school for some classes. This course was very thorough and I learned a lot through the textbook readings, the presentations, and practice. While the tests only cover details in the textbook, the presentations are a nice supplement to better remember the textbook so I would advise doing both to prepare for tests. Overall, I would highly recommend StraighterLine.

I am currently on my bachelor's degree in Business Administration, but my focus was on business and not in Liberal Arts. When I decided to try and get my credentials in teaching, I looked into Western Governors University and the enrollment counselor, Carolyn, said that not all of my credits were transferred over and that I needed to take additional courses in order to be accepted. She also said I could do those courses at StraighterLine. The classes were done online and the only physical people that I interacted with were Carolyn and the guy that proctored the test.

I had a friend that took classes through StraighterLine, and I needed some extra credits to graduate so I got into it as well. They are very useful in getting credits or in taking an extra class. It was easy to sign up with them and their help center was helpful for me. Everything was set out very well. I knew what classes I needed to go to and I did all the practice questions which helped me out for my class.

I was a student at Strayer University and the people there suggested StraighterLine, which is a cheaper alternative to the classes that I was taking. I started my degree in 2007, but then I ran out of financial aid and was at the point where I was paying for my classes out of my pocket. It’s 2018 now, and I just finished in June. I paid StraighterLine $99 a month and the class was $79 and one was $49. Two of them were classes that I needed and one of them was one of the electives. Joe fast tracked the grading on my rough paper, had someone from the grading department reach out to me and offer direct feedback and allowed me to submit my final for the same grade I had received on my rough. I was able to send my transcripts over to WGU that day but was later told that I would not meet the deadline for my desired start date. Joe was in contact with me throughout this whole process and I had told him that, unfortunately, I was not going to be able to start when I had wanted to. He offered to reach out to WGU for me and, later that day I got an email that I would be admitted for the term I wanted.

I was getting ready to attend WDU and they told me about StraighterLine. I could get some extra courses for a cheaper price while I waited for my courses to start. I had a million questions and the staff at StraighterLine was phenomenally helpful, super quick and responsive. I’m working a full-time job, have a family, and needed to finish quickly. I couldn’t do the CLEP test because those are Spanish level 1 and 2. So, the work-at-your-own pace with StraighterLine was huge because I didn’t have time to take a 16-week course. I'm happy that I finished the StraighterLine course in 17 days.

I got an advice from the university that I’m currently attending to get a course with StraighterLine. I knew the course that I was gonna take and it was cost-effective to take it with StraighterLine since the cost contained the material. I called them to find out how the process goes and they showed me to go online, register for an account and for the course that I wanted. I did almost everything by myself. And there was only one day when I called on how I could register for the final exam. I was told to go online and I just followed the instructions on the side. I would refer friends to go to StraighterLine. In fact, I already did to two friends to take the same course that I did.

At the time I started StraighterLine, I was 37 credits away from my Bachelor’s degree, and the college that I was going to said that I needed to take the last 24 with them, but anything between the 37 and 24, I could get from wherever. I liked StraighterLine's price and the flexibility because I work full time. It was at my own pace. Everything was right there. I could put the e-books on another computer, so I didn’t have to have internet all the time. It was so convenient. I was taking tests at 10 o’clock at night, and it worked out well. Also, the proctors were great. I would’ve done this a long time ago if I knew StraighterLine existed because I could afford it.

My parents didn’t want to pay all the extra money the university was going to charge us for the extra class that didn’t count for credit so we went to StraighterLine. I like that it is self-paced and you can go back and look at the textbook when you forget what you need to work on. I've told many of my friends about StraighterLine and they plan on doing it.

Western Governors University advised me to take some courses at StraighterLine before I enroll to them. I hate sitting in a classroom and I like to learn on my own, so that was a big plus for me. Most of the work given at StraighterLine was very clear-cut. It was pretty easy to understand and the exams were just difficult enough. You really have to do your work. It’s a lot of self-motivation to actually sit and do the work because nobody is standing on top of you. I’ve really enjoyed my time with StraighterLine, and I've recommended it to someone.

My adviser told me about StraighterLine and he also told me what I needed to take because I just needed 2 credits to finish up my degree. Once I called StraighterLine's customer service, they were okay. I like the flexibility that they provide.

I'm a nurse going back to my Bachelor's. There were a few classes that I had a deficit on with Western Governors and I wanted to take a few classes before I started with them so I took classes with StraighterLine. I took three classes and it took me about six months to finish them. I had a great experience. I got those classes knocked out, so when I start in the Western Governors program, I got those behind me. It was pretty smooth taking classes and it was easy to do stuff online. You gotta discipline yourself and set aside a little bit of time of your day to make things easier.

The only course that I needed to finish to graduate was Western Civ and my advisor told me that she had a cheaper option for me. She told me that since I was out of state, I really needed to check out StraighterLine. It was kind of a trial-and-error thing because she said that I would've been the only student at my school to do this. But when I move back to school, I would tell my advisor and recommend StraighterLine to everybody. I also got two of my friends to do it because they're out of state too and it was a lot cheaper for them to do it as well.

I like the flexibility that comes with StraighterLine. I was able to be on my own pace with the classes and was able to finish as fast as I could. And that was the most attractive thing for me. I only needed about four classes and they were only electives. I found success by pushing hard and not letting too much time go by without logging in.

I needed prereq courses for optometry school and I didn't want to spend three months doing a course. A lot of the courses I was looking at have a scheduled midterms and finals. But with StraighterLine, I can accelerate it, put in three times the work and then just write the midterm and finals and schedule them whenever I want. I was able to complete three courses within a month. It was tough and I don't wanna do it again but it's possible. I had to do an essay a day because I was taking two English courses and a Microbio course but it was worth it.

The school that I first applied to didn't accept me. I was given the option to retake the ACT to a course called the ACCUPLACER and then my last option was StraighterLine. I’ve read reviews saying how easy and time consuming StraighterLine was. Still, I decided to pick the course that I wanted to do. Ms. Irene, a staff member, was very nice and helpful. I was doing the assignments every single day and it took me four weeks to complete my course. We opened our assignments and we read everything thoroughly. If people are gonna do the English course, they should make sure they're strong in English and have somebody to proofread your paper. If you wanna do StraighterLine, go for it. It is an easy course if you sit down and read the directions because they walk you through on exactly what to do.
