    I had to overnight a birth certificate and it cost $65.00. I thought that was really steep, but I live in a very small comm. and that was the only choice. The post office is waaaay cheaper all around. I also received a damaged, battered package, the UPS guy refused to leave it because the extent of damage and I lost merchandise. I love the new app that shows where the delivery is en route.

    A few incidents was difficult. Customer service gave different reasons for delay. It was hard to call and get someone who helped. Long hold times were frustrating and some people were not helpful to get the situation resolved. Took many hours of calls, sometimes days. The UPS delivery person, one of them, is very nice and personable so that experience is a plus. But phone customer service is something I would like to avoid.

    It seems almost any package I receive looks like it’s played football with. Most of the ones from UPS never arrive in perfect condition. UPS needs to reach their employees that all packages should be HANDLED WITH CARE.

    So I ordered clothes from Fashion Nova and sadly UPS was supposed to deliver my packages. So my first package was suppose to arrive a week ago, and my second package was also supposed to arrive tomorrow but they sent me an email saying they can’t deliver my package anymore which means I have to wait another week, and I’ve been contacting them about waiting almost two weeks for a package that was suppose to take 5 days shipping, but they kept are beating around the bushes on giving me an exact respond. Since it’s my first time even buying anything online, I was excited but after this experience with UPS I’m never using UPS ever again, and I recommend anyone to not use it.

    Since 31st August, till date, we have complained & enquired many time but there is no proper coordination till now. We made more than dozen visit to UPS office Jogeshwari East & asked for an immediate response to our issues we are facing. First, we were informed that our shipment is handed over to an agent, which we never authorized from our end. We were informed that we are going to receive the call. We updated all the contact information still we didn't receive any call. We called customer care numbers, we complained & many time we got disconnected in the middle of the conversation. We got penalized for no reason.

    There was a huge communication gap. We submitted the hard copies of documents on 31st August, then repeatedly they kept asking for same documents. We mailed all documents to them again & again. We submitted all the documents they asked. It took more than 12 days to UPS hand over the documents to the customs agents. We got penalized for more than 12 days that means 10,000 INR per day & yet we haven't received our shipment even after paying all the charges. It's been already 4 days & we didn't receive any call or email after making payment. Now, all we need is immediate action on our case.

    I bought an item from Amazon.com on 9/27/17 and paid extra for one day shipping because I needed the item for a class. Received an email from UPS letting me know that the package was going to be delivered 9/29/17 by 8 pm (did NOT happen). I then received another email on 9/30/17 from UPS with a change on delivery date to 10/2/17. Called Amazon and found out that someone shipped it as 2nd day air instead of one day shipping, then called UPS and was told that there was nothing they could do even though the package was already sitting at a UPS station about 10 minutes from my house!

    After arguing with UPS for 20 minutes finally got Josh (supervisor) to agree that they had made a mistake by sending an email with the wrong delivery date. Everyone agreeing that they were sorry and totally understood why I was mad DID NOT ACTUALLY HELP!!! Now have to find the item somewhere in Houston and pay extra for it so that I can use it for my class!! This is not the first time that UPS has failed to deliver a package on time but it will be the last as far as I am concerned. I will make sure that whatever I order from now on does not go through UPS since they seem unable to deliver anything on time.

    I've been tracking my package since it left Colorado. When it got to HODGKINS Illinois. The tracking stopped and it's been on the truck for the past 42 hours. Why am I allowed to do the tracking if you're not going to move the package. That many hours on same truck is ridiculous.

    Absolutely the worst pickup and delivery service. Called on 9/26/17 at 2:45 pm to have a package picked up (patients blood draw for a study, blood only good for 48 hours). Was told someone would be here by 6:00 pm. Called at 5:45 pm to say package still sitting here and was placed on hold for 27 minutes to be told they could not get a hold of the driver. Was told that someone would call in 30 minutes. Was not sitting in work another 30 minutes. Called UPS 9/27/17 at 8:15 am and was told my package had been picked up. Told phone person that everyone in the office must be hallucinating, because package still sitting on desk. On hold for another 20 minutes only to be told no one was answering at the Oregon Avenue facility.

    What a surprise. Does anyone ever get a live person at Oregon Avenue to answer the phone. I think that they are all mannequins or on eternal coffee breaks. Told someone would call me back by 10:00 am on 9/27/17. 10:17 and guess what no phone call. Called UPS and was told that UPS only makes one pick up a day at our facility and they had already done that at 1:00 pm. So my question was why did you schedule one for 6:00 pm if you already knew no one was coming out. Told the operator to cut the ** and give me a supervisor. I was told that a supervisor would only do the same thing she did and send another message to the Oregon Avenue facility. Lo and behold someone from Oregon Avenue finally called me around 10:30 am on 9/27/17 and guess what, she still could not tell me when my package would be picked up. She had to get a hold of the driver and call me back. 10:46 am and still no callback.

    Package still sitting on front desk. Was given a direct number to call back if there was a problem. I asked if I could give it to the patient that was going to have to travel back from out of state to have the blood redrawn, because by 11:21 am on 9/28/17 the blood will no longer be viable. She told me that they could only may outgoing calls and no one could call into the facility directly. So the number you gave me is bogus???? Do they hear how stupid they are. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. UNFORTUNATELY the STUDY HAS CONTRACTED with them and I CANNOT USE ANYONE ELSE.

    Only deliver during working hour, and only two attempts. QR code on the notice leads to an error page. The info notice doesn't always work either. Only way to track your package is then through the tracking reference given by the customer support of the expeditor. Once online, impossible to change delivery place or time without creating an account and giving personal details. But if you reluctantly do so after their second attempts, there seem to be still no other option left than to helplessly wait for the return to the expeditor?

    Only offered dropping point is in another city 20-30 min away by car where the national post office would drop it in a partner shop next block (2 min walk). Makes you pay 17€ of administration fee for import taxes that were less than 3€. At least for what's regarding the Netherlands, I have literally no clue why expeditors would chose such delivery service over regular and nationwide post-offices that offer much more flexibility with no cost on the receiver side.

    Ordered New Bentley Grill from California 3 day delivery on Sept. 15 2017. UPS tracking # schedule delivery by end of day Sept. 20 2017. Tracked package every day. On the morning of the 19, it was on schedule and at the Wentzville Mo. terminal 68 miles from my address. Waited all day checking, tracking but kept saying no information for that # so never came. Checked next day and package is now in Atlanta Ga. 510 miles away. Set there until the 25th and back at Wentzville Mo. delivery scheduled for 26th. Great. Finally get my front grille. Wrong. Waited on porch all day. Finally at 6pm UPS truck coming down road which dead ends 1/2 mile into farmer Alfalfa Fields. Now I have a 4 ft sign with name and address in 4" letters by driveway. The driver went by so I figured he would turn around and stop on way back since I'm the only house on the road, but no 19 minute later the truck sped by, made right turn onto main road and was gone...

    Once again no delivery on 3 day service, so I figured I would just stop by terminal which is only 5 mile from my house in the morning, but at 10pm there was a knock on my door. The farmer that owns the alfalfa fields went back to finish cutting the alfalfa and saw a box on the mower thingy and delivered it. If he had started mowing it would have been destroyed. Companies need to find alternative shipping methods. UPS is unprofessional and worst service I have ever had and people need to BOYCOTT UPS!!!

    UPS isn't the shipper that I use unless I need to get something out quickly. UPS is very close to my area and rather than travel the extra distance to my preferred shipper FedEx, I sometimes settle for UPS.

    I had paid over 100.00 for a 2 day air (Direct Delivery Only) service to have a package go from VA to OH to get there for a friend's birthday. It went from VA to WV back to VA to OH. Total time took 5 days. I bet if UPS, USPS, or FedEx was required to refund the difference of the shipping cost, it wouldn't take that long to ship a package a state away. I mean if a customer pays for a service he should get it or get a refund.

    Updated on 10/28/2017: I have been dealing with UPS for the past 3 weeks. I have been passed around, insulted, and lied to. I have jumped through every hoop they passed my way with no results. I recently shipped a computer to a friend and it arrived damaged. I filed a damage claim and a UPS representative told me the claim had been approved after they had my friend send in pictures of the computer and box and that a check would be sent. A few days later, I received a letter that said my claim had been denied due to the construction of the box. Upon proving they were full of it and that the box met their standards they changed their story saying there wasn't enough packaging, Now if four layers of bubble wrap isn't enough packaging than you would almost have to use cement around your item.

    After I was told the claim was approved for a second time, I received another letter in the mail saying it was denied. When I asked a representative what is it this time? They asked if I was going to repair it or replace it the item? Getting very upset over the amount of BS, I reached out to ** and asked if they could persuade UPS to honor my $400 claim? I don't know what they said to UPS but it worked. A UPS HQ representative contacted me and apologized and agreed to honor my claim. After a few days Mr. ** replied "It looks like UPS mishandled your box -- and your claim -- in an epic way. Of course, it should have sent the computer to your friend undamaged. And in fairness, that's normally what happens. I moved most of my fragile items from Florida to Arizona last year using UPS and, it packed and shipped the items without a scratch.

    UPS can be a little pricey, but, in my experience, if you want it done right, you UPS it. So I was surprised to read the lengthy account of the company's failure, and how it first agreed to process your claim and then backpedaled. The company should have paid you for the damage as soon as you sent the necessary documentation. Again, it's unclear why the company agreed, and then rescinded its offer. Not to belabor the point, but that isn't the UPS way. Among its core values are "integrity," "service" and "quality," all three of which were lacking in your case. I contacted UPS on your behalf. It apologized and agreed to honor your claim -- this time, for real."

    Package was set up to be sent to local UPS store. Departure scan had correct address to UPS store but driver listed could not delivery account wrong apartment number 9/18 and on 9/25. UPS store said they never received the package and computer showed the same driver was unable to deliver account incorrect apt address? I was never notified that package had been delivered to UPS store and the UPS store has also informed me that they never received a delivery. Package has now been sent back to sender and per UPS customer service cannot change shipment in transit. I will now have to wait for sender to receive package and then reorder and send to UPS store again... really. So my 4 day ground delivery is turning into 3 to 4 week nightmare or more unless they still cannot find one of their stores.

    The drivers are so pressed for time s/he will get out of truck with the attempted to deliver note in hand. Even when it's an overnight medical delivery that is well marked. Living in a big old house, I must wait near the front door or miss the needed delivery. Sad but true.

    UPS is not as good as the top rated company but usually you can count on UPS delivering on time and not much damage. Better if they handled the packages better. Don't toss the boxes that doesn't help. Their delivery trucks are noisy and driven way too fast in residential areas. Noise is way above what's allowed in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Also not a fan of companies that allow smoking in their trucks when driving.

    UPS will never leave a package at an apartment door (though literally every other company will), yet they insist on making their deliveries when everyone is at work. They make 3 attempts to deliver, always at the same time, and then they return to sender - you may never get your packages. I'm sick of having to chase down my packages!

    My delivery was supposed to arrive on 22 September 2017. It never showed. Amazon updated the delivery time to Saturday 23 September until 8 pm. I waited until 2:51 pm before contacting Amazon to complain. I contacted Amazon after 5 pm to complain again. They said they were in communication with UPS and were working to resolve. I left home finally at 8:08 pm to go shopping. I get home and check the status on Amazon and it says that "delivery was attempted." What utter bullcrap... At least own up to your mistake UPS.

    Due to this I will choose any carrier except UPS. Their customer service page is a joke. Don't buy stock or fund this crappy company in any way. I will never use this company for the rest of my life. I wouldn't have cared except they want to pass the blame on me. When I've been home most of the day. There aren't enough four letter words to describe my anger!

    I have used UPS numerous times and mostly ship within Texas and ship ground, which typically takes 3 days to get to west Texas from Dallas, but online will state that it takes 1-2 days. It's not really clear for remote areas of the state, so I've learned the hard way that those are average predictions, not absolute numbers. The only real issue I've ever had was in trying to use the $5 service to reroute a package that, for some reason, had an old address of mine on it in UPS but not on the order itself. UPS somehow used my old address, and even though I paid the $5 to reroute the package, it didn't get routed or arrive on time. The package was returned to the hub who called me to validate the address, and even though I gave them the address, it was going to take 2 or 3 more days so I just went to the HUB to get my package.

    My Experience with receiving packages from UPS has been very good. To date I have not received any damaged packages from companies I've ordered from that ship Via UPS. The few times I have shipped through them the packages have arrived in a timely manner and according to recipients they also arrived in a timely manner and not damaged.

    We're in a rural area which is a little tough to drive in during winter. In 22 years, our UPS has always been on time. If our driveway isn't plowed (they don't have to come in if it isn't), our UPS drivers always make a track and come right in. They do a constant, good job.

    Numerous times, I've ordered packages and always cringe when I find out that UPS is handling the delivery (which is usually completely out of my control -- it all depends on who's sending the item from Amazon or what deal they have with the company I'm ordering from). The intercom system at my building is unreliable at best, so I go out of my way to let them know how they can notify me when a package is delivered. I work from home, so I am literally always home. I leave notes on the door with my phone number, asking them to please call upon delivery, and if I'm able I leave delivery instructions on the online order form of whatever site I'm ordering from.

    Without fail, I get that email that says I was not available for delivery when they attempted. Sure, they'd be happy to attempt on the next delivery day, but how is that helpful at all? They're not going to call the next day either. It's extra fun when it's a Friday, and then I have to wait till Monday. On the most recent occasion, the driver didn't even leave the sticker on the door. It's absolutely unconscionable to treat customers like this -- as a customer success rep myself, I would get fired if I operated with the utter indifference to customer experience that these guys have. I don't believe that it's unreasonable to expect that a delivery driver will do at least the bare minimum and attempt to contact me, instead of just glancing at the door from the driver's seat and then pulling away, as they seem to.

    I ordered a cathouse on Amazon for the upcoming cold nights of fall. On the 11th of September, I received a notice telling me that my order was successfully deliver to my house and that the driver left the package under the porch. Funny thing is that I don't even have a porch to put the package under! So of course after asking all my neighbors, after going around my place trying to find the dammed package, I to go through the company I bought the cathouse from. They asked UPS to open up an investigation. An investigation. Really. A 100$ package left under a nonexisting porch! Still waiting for a follow-up to this day.

    I have used UPS most of the time. They are esp. efficient with medical equipment which has needed to be shipped promptly. I can receive a breathing machine replacement within 24 hrs, replace the broken one in the box which arrives, and they return it promptly to the company! They have been providing me with wonderful service---with no mishaps!

    I would like to start by saying that I wish there was a way to leave a worse review than a one star. This company does not deserve even a one star review. I was told my package would be delivered on a specific day (Note: this was a work related package) and then after checking the updated status, they had stopped my delivery and had it sent back. This is completely unacceptable and I will never have a package delivered through UPS ever again. Worst shipping and processing company I have ever had to deal with. On a scale of 0-5, I would give them a zero.

    I am extremely upset just now. I have had multiple packages stolen from my home due to what I consider inconsiderate drivers. Look at this picture! Everyone who passes up or down this street has a clear view of these packages AND indicate that no one is home. As I mentioned, I have had packages stolen before by someone who was just riding down the street and saw an opportunity. I know because I watched it on the video camera I have outside of my home! The more considerate drivers have often left packages on the patio NEXT TO THE STEPS and have even gone so far as to place them behind planters on the patio NEXT TO THE STEPS. I'm not sure if it's common sense or common courtesy but I wish the UPS drivers would use a little of both!

    I mailed a genealogical chart in a standard mailing tube from Savannah, GA, to Pensacola, FL. The package was never delivered! When tracking, I was notified by UPS that the package was damaged and the contents missing. I made an insurance claim and it was denied because it was not packaged well. If that is true, why did the UPS store accept and mail the package? I cannot trust them now!

    I live in Canada so I am at the mercy of the companies. I prefer UPS as it is picked up at border via Canada post. So this company is very reliable. I generally have no clue what the customs fees or gst/pst is until I pick up the package. UPS is much better value than the other shipping as I can pick up at my local post office.

    I miss the security of having my package "held" w/ a note on the door. Now, I find my packages arrive in a variety of places including my rural route post box that sits in an remote location. I've tried using the "My UPS " to direct where my pkgs. should go but it seems the drivers pay no attention and I never know quite where to look: by the front door? In the screen porch? Next to my garage door? In the mailbox? Why offer a service and then disappoint those who use it!!

    Last week I had a rather large unwieldy package delivered. The odd thing is my tracking told me it was delivered but I had been looking out my front door and there was nothing there. So I went to my back door- nothing there. So I went out in the rainstorm and found my package getting soaked at a door I don't even have a key to. 5 stars for finding the most obscure and inappropriate place to leave a package. I'm a 65 year old, disabled, tiny woman and had to drag the package from my backyard to my back door, up the stairs and into the house. I was drenched and hurting.

    I called UPS and was told to sign up for UPS My Choice. I tried and tried but was told the website had a glitch. So after spending a lot of time trying to make this happen I waited until yesterday-- called their tech dept. The tech guy was having difficulty so he asked to take over my session. He realized the fact I have 2 names separated by a slash was a problem. So he deleted the name I use most and clicked Next before I could stop him. Now I'm told I have to wait 24 hours to get into my acct because we attempted to log in too many times and no one can override their mistake. I am so frustrated and upset. This has taken hours. I have a heavy package coming and don't know how to proceed.

    For the past couple of years UPS has handled packages with little or no care for the boxes. I can't remember when I have had a box come from UPS that wasn't damaged. In at least three cases, the item had to be returned because of damage caused by UPS. One was a metal muffin pan that was so badly damaged it couldn't be used. Very frustrating.

    I recognize the driver because he had been the same driver for 2 years in the area I live. Now he will leave the package at the door. Being retired this is not a problem but I have seen packages sit by the door of empty apartments unless someone tells the driver.

    If it isn't packed tightly and wrapped well then the package might get damaged. Especially at Christmas time. But overall my experience has been good. They usually watch out for our dog so they don't run over him. Most of the drivers are able to back out of the drive well. Only encountered one so far who could not and tore up the yard a little bit. But nothing has arrived broken. Versus going through the mail. If it's glass it will be broken. Guaranteed! So best to go with UPS! They are the best!

The local USPS offices in my location are not accessible to people who didn't keep up with the development of cell phone messaging technology, parking is almost not accessible.     I really don't like the services which UPS provides, because of the hurriedness of some of their drivers. You can post a sign on your door, call into the company and leave special directions, it does not matter. If they want to rush, & empty that truck, they are likely to leave your package anywhere! Older people, sick people who don't get to the door fast enough, they just throw your package, and they leave. That is bad, especially during holidays, because people come right behind them, and take your packages! They need to take more time, to know that you have your packages, and don't leave them unless directed to do so.

    I had a package sent to me by Xfinity. The package was scheduled to be delivered September 15th 2017. The truck with the package left UPS at 5:10 am for delivery. I have yet to see the package. And UPS claim not to know where the package is. The customer service representatives are uninformed about any deliveries and are little to no help at all. Other than to tell me it should be here by 8:00 pm for which they close at 8:00 pm. So my package I'm basically being told will be bounced around on back of a UPS truck for 15 hours before being delivered. And your base of operations is only 8 miles from where the package is to be delivered. I could've walked to from if that's the case. Thanks UPS for the experience. I know when shipping my Xmas gifts to my family this year FedEx will definitely be the better option.

    I was waiting all day for two deliveries. At 7:30 I checked the tracking number of one. APPARENTLY the driver said I wasn't home for the delivery attempt at 4:26 pm. Funny though, I was home all afternoon waiting. To be fair, I have dogs, so the driver needs to honk. At 70 years old it takes a minute to get to the door. I didn't hear a horn (hearing tested recently - perfect). This is not the 1st time. I've had packages out for delivery according to the tracking site.     I am signed up for the My Choice preferences and I got an email about the delivery date of my package. On that date I did not receive the package and I contacted Customer Service. They asked me to wait a little longer even though it was already after delivery hours frame. I waited till 11 PM and nobody showed up. Next day I got an email, stating that due to some complications my delivery date moved to the next day. However, it did not arrive on time and I contacted customer service again.

    They told me that this time the package IS with the driver. At 8:30 PM I got a notification of delivery ATTEMPT (?) and that since no one answered the door (which never rang) I now have to go to the access point and pick up my package. I specified on the preferences to LEAVE the package AT THE DOOR IF NO ONE IS THERE TO RECEIVE IT. So I called the customer service again at 9:20 to see what is going on. They told me that they can try to deliver it tomorrow. I mean, my package is just traveling in the truck for 3 days now. This is very frustrating.

    I live in SW Florida, along the Gulf Coast. I ordered a emergency lantern from Amazon with 2-day shipping on 9/4. I tracked the package and was due to receive it on 9/7, UPS reported it was on the truck, set for delivery. 9/7 was a good weather day. We were expecting a hurricane to enter our area on 9/11. The package was not delivered. When I checked their website, it said that they were experiencing a delay?

    On 9/8 I again waited for my package, nothing arrived. The website stated again that they were again having some kind of delay? What could that be? We were having perfect weather?     I always try to use them when mailing a package. They are extremely friendly, asks lots of questions, gives you a choice on how you want your package to get to the destination.     I work in civil litigation where timing is everything. I would think the same goes for UPS when customers pay a lot of money to have packages arrive timely. UPS has become so unreliable that our firm will no longer use them. I shipped a 30# box overnight for early a.m. delivery to simply go from San Diego to Santa Barbara. The box was full of documents our office worked the entire weekend preparing, paid hundreds of dollars to print and assemble, and another almost $200 to have it arrive to court ON TIME the next morning. Imagine my horror when an attorney is blowing up my phone because said box did not arrive. When I tracked the package, the website said "due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed". I'm like WTF does that mean?! Well, I called and was finally told the box was "put on the wrong truck".

    PUT ON THE WRONG TRUCK! A 30# box... not easily misplaced. But I was told, not to worry, it will arrive the next day. Really?! Tell that to my boss, the judge, and some Russians who were all waiting in court for those damn documents. What a ** show and a total waste of money, time, effort, resources, and manpower. So great, UPS will refund the $200 or so spent on shipping, but we were out thousands of dollars in reality. EPIC FAIL!

    UPS is short for OOPSS. UPS is the biggest bunch of morons you can ever think about. They know an address and they will spend no time sending the package back immediately with seconds. Some idiot shipper named TAB DATA knowingly shipped out a package via UPS to a PO Box. We told them not to and they did anyway. The package got to the Parsippany, NJ office, so instead of holding the package and sending a card in the mail to the PO Box telling us the package was there for pickup, they wasted no time in rejecting the shipment and sending it back. They didn't even bother to make any type of delivery attempt, notifying the customer nothing. Within 1 hour this all happened.

    We have taken every single piece of UPS shipping supplies and going to the local facility and throw all their shipping supplies in the parking lot, not to mention closing our account for good! The normal procedure of any PO Box delivery, is the fact that they could hand it off to USPS to make the final delivery in which they have that service or hold the package for 5 days and send out an info notice to the PO Box, but no they don't have any brains whatsoever. Idiots!

    2 weeks ago a customer sent a return via UPS. Status said they can't deliver because we moved. I called since we have been at the same address for close to 2 years. They said they will attempt delivery the next day. Checking the status the next day, same thing, they can't deliver because the driver says we moved. Called them again, verified the address again, same thing. The next day they told me they will try again on Monday. Monday came, the status said they are sending the package back to the sender. The customer had to send it via USPS.

    During that same week we sent a package to New York via UPS. Today the customer called saying they did not get the package. Tracking shows it was delivered back to Los Angeles. Called UPS and after over 40 minutes on the phone, it turns out they sent the package back and their finance department confiscated it because they say we have passed due invoices. UPS must be desperate but that is no way to conduct business. We have no past due invoices.

    There was a package delivered along with a card stating the other package could not be delivered because the address was incorrect. Both labels had the same address. One was a small envelope and the other was a mid size box. See the attached image of the card and the envelope referenced above. When I called explaining my confusion, their first response was "Would you be willing to pick up the package at the UPS store?" I paid for delivery, not pick up at the UPS store because the UPS driver was too lazy to carry a box. Additionally, they have lost numerous packages and I have never experienced these problems with FedEx or the US Postal Service. I honestly have no idea what's wrong with UPS but they need to hire better employees because this kind of service is unacceptable.

    Terrible service. My package not delivered after five. Time staying home all day long and no show. Signature required. They never show up. Hours and hours and hours and hours and hours on the phone with customer service and everybody tells me a different story and lies. Supervisors many supervisors many people answer the phone and they all tell me a different story. Yet as of yet got my package that I ordered.

Actually three times because I had paper reoccurring deliveries that they never delivered. Every time I spoke to them it was a different lie and a different story. UPS I don't even give my star. They shouldn't be in business. They're of the worst people ever. The worst business. I will never order for something from them ever ever ever again. Hours and hours of aggravation. My throat is hoarse.

    The prices are somewhat high in my opinion, the post office is cheaper. They are usually on time BUT I have had packages containing food delivered late twice and one had freezer packs leaking on the food deeming some of it inedible. But for the most part, they do a good job. I get packages often and usually have no problem.

    Only complaint is that they occasionally drops the package at the USPS to complete the delivery. That slows the package down significantly. If UPS completes the whole delivery, it's always quite speedy and drivers are always friendly and courteous.

    Let me make this short and sweet: UPS is not the value that it was in days gone by, Residential Delys. in my town may lag well thru the day into the early evening hours in some cases and I have rec'd pkgs here at my home that looked they had been in a soccer match. And they don't deliver on Saturdays... Meanwhile, you have FedEx and if you open up an account with them using your credit card, you gain an automatic 10% discount and now finding that their ground service is moving ever so much closer to U.P.S. costing that I always double check with them before sending anything out. If it's anything of true value and or perishability I generally go with FedEx. Both are approx. 2.5 miles from my home so it's a pretty fair assessment on that front too.

    Treatment of packages is terrible. Delivery drivers are not knowledgeable about correct addresses. They have left packages at empty houses in my neighborhood for me. Duplicate street name are a problem as they seem to have trouble understanding even when cross street is included in address. Stores are nice and polite but very expensive.

    I use them with some trepidation, and have a dim view of companies I purchase from that use them. They use a round-about shipping method that involves contractors and USPS, that can triple and quadruple delivery times. A 4-day shipment with USPS takes 10 to 12 days via UPS. If a driver is unable to locate your address, they'll simply enter that you weren't at the address to receive. And you'll have to wait 1 or 2 days more for a "redelivery". And don't mark anything as fragile, or do not bend, because: guess what?

    I deal with the UPS store at Rotunda and Greenfield in Dearborn, Michigan. In the last two years I have shipped a tremendous amount through this facility, and most of it has been extremely fragile, meaningful, and priceless to myself and to those that have been receiving the items.     I haven't had a problem with UPS, up until the last year. Service seems to have gone downhill. I dread when packages get delivered with UPS now. I'd much rather they get delivered through FedEx or USPS. Through the tracking, I can see that packages sit on trucks for days and days, without any movement. It takes over a week to get a package from UPS nowadays. I placed an ordered with a company, and they assigned UPS to part of it, and FedEx to another part. Guess which arrived quicker, and I mean like 4 days quicker? FedEx, of course.

    UPS leaves "sorry we missed you" notices on my door without even ringing the doorbell. They regularly try and make deliveries at almost 10 pm. Sometimes they leave the packages, sometimes they don't, even though I have updated my delivery preference online to just leave the packages at the door. Now, I see they don't even attempt to re-deliver. Someone came up with the bright idea to forget re-deliveries altogether. Now, they will just drop off your package at your nearest UPS store on the next business day so you can get your damn package yourself. This is not service. Try calling them on the phone, asking about a delivery and why the UPS person didn't even ring the doorbell... you'll get rude guys, who don't even speak English well. What the hell, UPS.

    UPS is generally a good shipping company and everything usually arrives on time and price is generally fair, although from a shippers perspective the delivery drivers can be quite and obviously impatient, almost to the point of being; once in front of customers. If I am say listening to a customer and have to get a couple parcels to send from the back room, a driver has made a borderline scene in the business because they had to wait two minutes longer by storming out and basically telling me that he never waits for anyone because that's not his problem that they weren't by the front door. I understand that they are on a time frame but I'm not going to stop my customer mid-sentence to grab boxes so he can shave a few minutes off his day so he can go home. I don't want to damage the rapport with customers that provide my income and since I am a customer of UPS I would think the drivers would feel the same way if they owned the company.

    I have products sent to me from a company in South Carolina, I am in Michigan. These products are dangerous, and the boxes are clearly marked with double arrows pointing upward, saying this side up, but a lot of the time they are not. But they have never been damaged, and they are always on time, so all in all I am pleased with the co.

    They are fine. The packages are usually a little squished, more than other carriers. I do have trouble when I say a package can be left without a signature. It seems to be a bit of a hassle, packages are then taken to the manager's office or given to a neighbor which is not very inconvenient.

    UPS has always been very consistent with the orders I receive. I leave a message on my front porch to delay at the back and they always do. If it is raining, they cover the packages in a plastic cover and leave them in a place that shields the weather. They always fulfill the order within the hours specified.

    I like the tracking. Time it takes to get here has always been right on. Although a very few of the drivers seem to almost throw your package on the step, the majority take the few extra seconds to place it in the correct spot.     Bought an item online. Was promised to be at my door on the 31. I understand the hurricane. My area was not affected by it. It's 7 days late. All I see is DELAYED. No way to contact them about it. I'm running out of time to get my motorcycle inspected. Need those parts or I going to end up spending more money on another temporary tag.     UPS lost one of my parcels. It took me over 10 calls to have them clarify that the package was lost. The customer service reps appear to only be allowed to use about 10 different pre-scripted responses when you call and they keep repeating some variation of a pre-scripted response, which often has nothing to do with the question you've asked. They pre-charged my card for customs fees and gave me the runaround when I asked for a refund. Ultimately, they refused to even provide me with proof that they paid customs on my behalf so I asked Visa to suspend the charge until UPS can provide proof that they even incurred that expense. Visa was helpful in that regard. One of the service reps told me that UPS is a very large company and they can't be expected to keep every receipt. I mean, it's a joke.

    After really horrible experience as both a shipper and receiver with the UPS I will never again deal with this company. In two different countries (Canada and Finland) I had the same experience. Their drivers do not even try to deliver. Twice I received a notice that "address is wrong" whereas their driver simply did not even ring the door. Both addresses were in central, well-known locations. In both cases the parcel included time-sensitive documents. Terribly inefficient and costs any business or private person extra time and money.

    I order some car parts from Atlanta, GA back in the winter and it had a 2 day delivery on it. UPS was running and the driver drove by my house. When I called UPS customer service they said they had until 11:00 p.m. to get it delivered but didn't deliver it until two days later because the delivery driver called in and said there was snow and ice in the parking when it hadn't snowed at all and UPS made me pay for a redelivery fee.

    On the rare occasions I use UPS to send a package their sub station personnel lack knowledge or caring. There was an occasion I was sending a package to California and used the standard abbreviation of CA to designate where the package was going. I was informed that CA does not have any meaning, and once the clerk was informed it meant California, then and only then they would accept my parcel. Shouldn't these individuals have the knowledge of the standard state abbreviations?

    While I do think the service is expensive, I have had really good service most of the time. One bad experience was a broken glass item that was left by the driver with glass piece all around the box on my front step while I was home. I happened to see him drop the box off hand sprint off. When I opened the door and saw the glass I called without moving the box. There was broken glass all the way from the street up my walk. It was not a great experience.

    I love the service that I receive, I've always gotten my packages delivered in a timely manner. The cost is okay though sometimes I find when I use FedEx it's less expensive. I wish when the doorbell goes out and I leave a note with phone number that they would do the courtesy of calling me to let me know that they are downstairs, they don't and this is something that FedEx does which is very helpful. Since your drivers are not allowed to do so, I have to go in and pick up the package. It's not a lot to ask when you're paying 20 dollars or more for delivery.

    UPS is great for shipping. I mostly use it for returns (products being returned to the store). Some businesses include a UPS label if you need to return a order and the charge is minimal. However, I have had to return items with no label included and most of the time the UPS charge is over double what I would pay if the business would have included a label - at times much more than the product is worth.

    Sometimes my pkg is left too far from my door like it was thrown there and don't get knock on my door to know it has came. But love it now that I have signed up for text alert to know when pkg has been delivered. Best thing they came up with. The pkg come in good condition if it's smaller boxes but bigger pkg looks like they don't get as much care when handling. One time my neighbor received my pkg. Thank God they were honest and a couple times I have received pkg that belong to people that moved. Tried to get someone to pick them up but ended up having to take it to them. But usually I have no problem with them. Not like I do with post office.

Charge for packages are usually high than Canada Post's. I always have to go 20km (to & fro) from my house to collect the parcel. If I don't go on time they send it back to sender in 7 days. Company wants to address more parcels with less staff and overloading staff with unmanageable targets so staff in haste leave "sorry we missed you notice." Or maybe staff is lazy to deliver in customer hand. Worst service.

    I shipped an ice skating prop that cost approximately $1100.00. It was shipped with bubble wrap and Fragile was written ALL over the box.     UPS gives an AARP discount which is nice (if you go to the Post Office you do not get one). I went during a time in the day I was quickly serviced. I was sending it from Indiana to California. It was very expensive even though it was not a big box and certainly did not weigh much. This was a special item but because of the cost, I usually either just send a gift card or buy online. That is sad because I would much rather see the item, pack it and send it myself.

    I ordered an item from Bose and was told the item would be delivered on 28 August 2017. When I tracked the package I saw a delay notation and found the package had been misdirected twice. After a day when I found the package had not moved I went on Live chat with a UPS agent. When I asked when the package would be delivered and if it would go through the two incorrect receiving stations. All I was told that I should receive the package one day after it started to move and I should keep checking with tracking. When I asked when the package would move, the only response was that I should continue to keep checking with tracking. They told my me because the items is not insured so they can refund you $100 each and it cost me $2300 everything!     My daughter ordered a reptile over the internet with 24 hour delivery. UPS emailed me at 5am that flight was delayed, 2 hrs behind schedule. Called them at 8am to confirm drop off time. Was told near 12pm due to delay. Told them I had to run out at 8:30am and would be back at 10am. Package was delivered at 9:30am with note. Note says, "sorry missed you. See you next day". Really!!! This is not a toy, movie or inanimate object. Called immediately, told driver missed me by ten minutes, not their problem, wait for tomorrow's delivery. Pathetic and unprofessional. Offered to find driver and get package but driver is not able to be located. Again told I am the problem. STOP USING UPS FOR LIVE ANIMAL DELIVERY IMMEDIATELY, PLEASE!

    This is the worst shipping company! Drivers are rude and unprofessional (not all of them surely), but laziness seems to be the company's motto. I had a package full of sensitive information (containing my medical records and SSN) that I wasn't even expecting to receive fail delivery. I was home all day and received a package from USPS, but UPS never bothered to even ring my door. This isn't the first time this has happened.

    No information on the paper except that they won't be attempting a re-delivery and that my package is now sitting in a damn cellphone repair shop 10 miles away. I go to hole in the wall shop to pick up my package and see it sitting on the back counter, partially torn open. Not locked up. No security. Package was just sitting out in the open. Anyone could have opened it and had access to my personal info. I will never, ever do business with this garage company again. I will also refuse to do business with online companies that only use UPS. Wouldn't use UPS even if the shipping was free.

    The person who helped me was very knowledgeable how to send my package. I was happy with the service but I wish it was not so pricey. Thanks for the other options.

    UPS always delivers my packages promptly and in excellent condition. They always leave my packages, conveniently, beside my front door. This definitely adds to an easy access to the packages. I am extremely satisfied with all delivers from UPS.

    When my daughter and I moved back to Colorado from California we used UPS. It was cheaper to put our stuff in 20 boxes than to rent a rental truck. Everything arrived ok, on time and just as we got there. I love my UPS people, they are all very nice and professional. I would use them again to move instead of a rental truck or just to send gifts.

    UPS is awful overall; terrible. I have used them on and off for perhaps 25 years, (forced into it) and they make a lot of mistakes. I avoid them. They forget to leave notices; say they delivered something when in fact they did not.

    Every time my package is delivered they never ring the bell and even though I get a notice on my cell phone, my package can be sitting outside for more than a hour and a lot of times the package looks like it been through a war.

    UPS is just great. The packages left at the door are in good condition. And I see that no one bothers them. I get my package as soon as UPS leaves it at the door. And lets me know online that it's at the door. Love it.

    Awful delivery time - I had many times when my package did not arrive. I had to call UPS several times to ask when my package was being delivered. They delivered my packages at 10:45pm; 10:55pm; 11:16pm very, very late into the night. I have requested various vendors which I have purchases not to ship my packages via UPS, & to use FedEx, USPS instead. UPS is unacceptable!

    On 8/28 2017 I was expecting a delivery from China. I realize that my shipper did not put the correct address. Immediately I called UPS that day to let them know there is a change of address, building number and apartment number only. 8/29/2017 the correct address and building and apt was revised not once not twice but three times. Today 8/30/2017 @ 2:59 pm I'm sitting in my living room waiting for the UPS truck to deliver. I live in an area of New Jersey that has high rises apartment buildings on all 4 corners of the intersection. Very busy intersection.

    Today I saw 2 UPS trucks. No one has delivered. One truck literally turned on my street, I saw him sitting at my living room window. Do yourself a favor. Find another carrier. However, if you do have a regular UPS driver that delivers your packages on time, find out what their vacation month is and don't place any orders because you won't get them. UPS are Liars and they really don't care. I have been on phone for 3 days trying to straighten out this matter. However they don't really care one way or the other. Only full of excuses.

    My medicine delivered from Cigna insurance company weren't delivered on time and now Cigna is refusing to reimburse me for the claim. UPS not only costed me time and effort in submitting this claim multiple times and not it is costing me to eat the entire $200. Going forward I will be choosing other shipping services and will NOT be advocating UPS again and will request my company to do the same.

    I purchased a generator on August 26th to be sent overnight to Corpus Christi Texas. My sister lost electricity during Hurricane Harvey and there are no generators to be had in a 200 mile radius. Of course, I expected some type of delay due to weather conditions and back up of orders but I thought it would be delivered at least by today. The generator made it to San Antonio yesterday at 630 am but no delivery due to adverse weather conditions. It is 100 degrees and sunny in Corpus Christi and about the same in San Antonio. It take 2 hours to drive the distance and there is no flooding or rain or wind in between.

    Because it is 100 degrees in Corpus Christi and my sister still has no electricity, I would really really like her to have that generator I paid 100 dollars to have shipped overnight. I have called UPS customer center in San Antonio several times today and am told the package is on the way. Then I check the website and it says package delayed due to severe weather conditions. So which is it? Is the package coming or not? My sister would gladly drive to San Antonio and pick up the generator but cannot do so until one delivery attempt has been made.

    I understand UPS has a priority to keep their employees safe but they also have an obligation to deliver packages that contain items that are desperately needed. Once again, there is no severe weather between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. The hurricane hit Corpus and moved out of the area quickly. So my sister and her family sit and wait in 100 degree heat until UPS decides to deliver to that area again. Or maybe they are going to deliver. I'm getting two different stories. Get it together UPS. People need their stuff. Frustrated in Missouri.
