I am a truck driver, and I've only been driving 19 yrs. The scene I witnessed at Pilot Travel Center in Gilman, Il was what all other drivers have to put up with, because of the arrogance and total disregard for other drivers. UPS Trk#**, sitting in fuel bay for 30 minutes, after his 30 minute test break, then he decides to fuel, knowing other drivers behind him need to get fuel. Plenty parking at site. I asked driver if he was ok, as employee at travel center is repeatedly making announcements to move out of fuel bay if not fueling, he remained sitting at fuel bay.UPS, your drivers are not above or better than other company drivers. We all have the responsibility to get our loads to customers on time. Blatant disregard for others is why a lot of drivers regard your drivers as snobs, and we know your drivers could care less.

I have seen them throw packages, drop them, kick them. They just do not care at all. Their pricing is so high it is way out of control. When you send a package just to another state close by, and it costs $59.00 for only 15 lbs. that is unheard of anymore. If they took good care of your package that's one thing, but when they destroy them no way!

This company has told me that they cannot deliver to my house. For my address cannot be found. I live just off highway 400 north. Between two highways. I live of what was highway 69 north. So how hard is that in delivering a package. I now have all my deliveries coming from Canada Post. For that is the one sure way that I will get my package delivered to my door, or mail box.

The driver said “no such address.” I had to pickup my package at their store. That is not good customer service, just laziness. Customer service is a lost art if you ask me and it’s not just UPS... USPS is also guilty, it seems no one cares anymore.

I find 2 things about UPS that are important. They know who we are, since we go to the same office all the time. Therefore information is right there saving us time. We know when the package is going to be delivered and to this day we have never been disappointed. This is a bit more expensive than USPS but worth the pennies to get things out, and there are no surprises.

UPS for the most part does a very good job in both delivery and pick up. In all the years I have used them there has only been one incident that was negative. I haven't shipped anything recently with them so I am not sure if they are still more expensive than USPS so I won't comment on cost. Most of the companies I shop with online use UPS and I satisfied with the service.

UPS sucks in every way. They even lie about making delivery attempts when they're too lazy to do their job and actually deliver the parcels, and instead they deliver them directly to a drop-off location that's usually out of the way for the customer, and expect the customer to pick it up which defeats the purpose of using a courier if the items are not being delivered to a person's home.

This is the worst delivery company, it's been a week after the first attempt to deliver my package and several phone calls to UPS to check where is my item, it is sitting at some delivery point where you have to drive to pick it up. For a week, after instructing UPS never to deliver to place like this but to my home, package has not been picked up by driver and I spent several days sitting at home waiting. I don't even want the purchase anymore, I am that mad!

We had a driver that physically put his hands on me, shove me and then take a package that he had just handed off to me, out of my hands and back to the facility. I had contacted UPS that I had been having trouble with this driver for a while and they did nothing. I had video of the incident and they wouldn't look at it. Because I am the only one at the store, the driver has been allowed to get away with questionable behavior because there is no one here to collaborate the incidents. I asked UPS to have a different driver to come to my place of business and I still get the same guy.

UPS used to be the gold standard for shipping, in my view. However, when there's a glitch, they seem to get caught up in their own internal processes instead of solving the problem as viewed by the customer. For example, I had a package that was being sent to be held for me at a regional UPS center because the shipper couldn't recognize my address. I also asked if it could be sent to a closer Walgreens for pickup rather than the UPS center. They said it could, and I said I'd let them know if I wanted to do that. A couple of days later, I saw via the tracking info that it was waiting for me at Walgreens. I never requested that, I simply asked if it was possible. If I hadn't proactively checked about it, it would have been returned after sitting there for a few days.

My dilemma, and my frustration with UPS is beyond describable. Jan. 17th my package was meant for guaranteed delivery. I however received a notice slip saying my package would be available for pickup the next business day after 1 pm, at the UPS access point- Langley Stop N Shop. I went next business day, and the next following three days to confirm if my package arrived for me and was not. Finally Monday after work I came home to another notification slip saying my package had a final delivery attempt that was missed. I was confused and frustrated because my package was meant to be at the UPS access point for pickup.
So I called UPS that night, told them of this whole dilemma, and the customer service rep after speaking to her supervisor, set a delivery for me the next day Tuesday Jan. 22, after 6 pm. Tuesday Jan. 22nd I came home around 5:45 pm, and waited all night for my package. No one showed. I once again called UPS, even more frustrated and told the customer service rep of both dilemmas. She confirmed there would be a guaranteed delivery the Thursday Jan. 24th after 4 pm.
Today-Jan. 24th. it is past 7 pm, and my package has still not arrived. I once again called UPS, spoke to another agent who told me my package was on hold and will not be delivered today. She could not give me information on the next delivery date as well, and said someone will be in touch the next morning. Next we went to FedEx and nearly fainted at the cost - over a hundred dollars to deliver the cookies. We went home and ate some cookies to comfort ourselves. Then we went to UPS. The price was reasonable, under $30, the delivery was slow but the cookies would arrive before Christmas. They did get to the destination on the day expected and they were in PERFECT condition, so except for the extremely (I thought) slow delivery time, I was quite satisfied with UPS.

I am in the process of moving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Portland Oregon. Since I am not immediately sending furniture, etc, I am shipping several boxes with household items. I researched other less expensive methods such as Busfreighter but due to online pictures and reviews, I decided to go with the more expensive route, UPS, thinking my shipments would be handled with greater care. Unfortunately, my perception of UPS was wrong. Most of my boxes arrived tattered and torn... No better than the pictures submitted by users of Busfreighter. My shipments arrived over a 3 day period.
In one of the damaged boxes, I removed the bubble wrap from a pressure cooker to find it bashed in on one side. It was only $100 so I blew it off and discarded the box and contents. In another battered box, I found my stand up mixer ($200) snapped in half. The box had "packing peanuts on the bottom. The mixer wrapped in bubble wrap, other pots and pans (wrapped in bubble wrap), and air pillows at the top of the box.
At this time, I decided to take pictures, as recommended on the UPS site. The damaged mixer was the only claim I attempted to file. The online claims form on the UPS site would not allow me to proceed. UPS Customer service advised me I had to go to the UPS Store (shipping point) to file the claim. I contacted the store to learn the pictures would not suffice. I had to keep the box, contents, and wrapping material available for a UPS agent to inspect. I spent $1,111.82 with UPS to ship 11 boxes. UPS makes it virtually impossible to file a claim for damages and recover costs. I have equally as much to ship again. I will take my chances on the lesser expensive transport services.

I rate my experience with the UPS store 2392 NO STARS. I called the UPS store # 2392 located: 6366 Commerce Blvd Rohnert Park, CA 94928. Called at 4:55 pm January 22, 2019 Tuesday. Spoke with Manager ** over the phone. I asked for a price on printing three black and white sheets if I were to email her and have her print it for me. I was told from ** there’s a $2 computer charge and for however much the printing is. I was in disbelieved and had to reassured I was hearing it correctly and repeated it to her and she repeated back to me. After I had turned over to my significant other and told him “that’s ridiculous”, ** hung up on me.
I went to the store to confront such a rude employee in less than 10 minutes. I got to the store, saw how poor her customer services was with another customer by not providing any helpful insight and I ask the woman staff I like to speak to a manager and she said that she is the manager. Then I asked her why she hung up on me and her respond was “because you called me a name”. Confusion and frustration engulfed me, so I asked her “what name did I call you”.
Her rude and proud response, “you said I was ridiculous”. I was in disbelieve that because she ASSUMED I called her “ridiculous” she hung up on me and gave me such treatment all over her assumption. I explained to her that I was speaking to my significant other in the car in disbelief about the price and had told him the price is ridiculous but ** insisted and wanted to continue arguing with me in disagreement as if she was in the car with me and she knows for a fact I called her that name.
If businesses act out on their feelings based on an assumption without probable cause, they lose customers and eventually lose their business. UPS has lost my business because I do not deserve to be treated by ** with such rude behavior based on her assumption. That was extremely poor customer service. There was another staff working there at the time, a male staff at the shipping area. He witnessed the whole incident.
I have worked for FedEx Print Office for 6 years. I know and am familiar with the work that she does. I was a lead consultant and was in charge of production, customer services, inventory, and shipping and receiving. There’s is no excuses/reasons that’ll justify her rude behavior towards a customer who is wrongfully accused and therefore mistreated by **. Sadly, she is a manager at that center. It’s really disappointing to think that UPS employed someone like her. UPS needs to work on better training their employees on how to be better at problem solving when interacting with customers. It’s really a shame because this is my first horrible experience with UPS and it’ll be my last because I will do business with FedEx from now on. Please contact me if you have any questions and because I would really appreciate it if I can speak to someone above: **.

As a small business, we ship items all over the USA, and UPS has destroyed so many items over the last 5 years. You know it's bad when every UPS driver you encounter tells you to NOT mark "fragile" on packages because that encourages the warehouse workers to manhandle the box. We've filed a police report for an item that was stolen by a UPS driver, after the insurance claim was closed 3 times from within to cover it up. Don't bother purchasing the insurance as they don't honorably inspect the item and will make-up reasons to decline the claim so they don't have to pay. Finally, and probably my biggest complaint is that now one must pay nearly $5 to get a signature upon delivery, which used to be included in shipping costs, and it still is with FedEx.

Gift box included personal items, pics, etc which were irreplaceable and the person who incorrectly rec'd the pkg refused to return it to correct address. I did receive insured amt from UPS and driver was either fired or suspended.
This past Christmas I shipped a pkg to my son and at the retail dropoff the UPS driver had just arrived to pick up pkgs. The driver completed my paperwork for me which I appreciated. In quoting a shipping rate there was a $27 increase in the rate charged from the retail store as opposed to the rate from their shipping center. I always thought the retail out jacked up their prices, now I know for sure and will certainly take my pkgs to the shipping center. They could not re-route it to my workplace. She said I could try to re-schedule or have it sent back to the company I bought it from and have them re-send it to my work address. What??? I finally just went online and asked for it to be re-delivered and a man called me back and I had to give him step-by-step directions to my house from the facility. Do the trucks not have GPS?
