Our regular drivers watch out for us. If we have a heavy package they make sure that it’s brought at least to the door for us. We have dog food delivered which is usually five or six boxes and they will unload that into the garage for us. In general they do a good job for us and are always friendly and cheerful.

If package get lost they will deny your claim saying you have to file police report, they will also tell the shipper that they contacted the receiver and that the receiver acknowledged the package, they tell lies to the shipper. Don't use this shipping company. If I could rate zero I will but there is not an option.

I own a candle company and I am consistently shipping packages via USPS. Due to a special occasion, I decided one day to ship a package to a family member through UPS and paid for 1 day shipping. I dropped off the package super early on Friday morning and was given a Saturday delivery date, since I was only shipping from NYC to Philadelphia. UPS LOST MY PACKAGE on the FIRST day. HOW. So now it is the following week and UPS has no idea where my package is and said that they cannot give me any further information. First and LAST time shipping with UPS. NOT a good impression. As a business owner, I feel that timely shipping is very important, family or not. This looks very unprofessional and I am embarrassed but relieved that I was shipping to my family because she is understanding. However, this should have never happened.

When everything goes right UPS is good. But very hard to get a hold of a person (people are very inconvenient to them) that can help you. Rare is the online cue that gives the options I need. I had to pay $5 to get a receipt (after MANY attempts - "please enter your shipper ID") - because the system did not tell me that if I didn't have an account I would not get a receipt. Luckily the first time I took a screenshot before I paid because I am used to big company arrogance.

This multi-billion a year company told me they did not keep those records after I finally talked to someone. So, no accountability to the IRS? Administrative baloney. I got the receipt kind of but not one I could get reimbursed for. But their store locations and hours are great for soccer moms. Had to do some digging to find a drop off place less than ten minutes away if it is all ready to go. They are regular use customer friendly - occasional users are just inconvenient. They are business/profit-based before people based.

I put a sign next to my mail box and front door which in 1 sentence clearly stated that packages should be left at the side entrance. I happened to catch the UPS delivery man heading toward his truck. I asked him why he didn't follow the instructions. He just said "sorry" in a rather flippant way as he ran away. I attempted to explain to him why I wanted the packages delivered to the side entrance (it is only 20 feet away) but he couldn't be bothered with the concerns of a mere customer. He didn't want to hear it. I attempted to contact UPS but they also didn't want to hear it. I was waiting for a $6500 medical device and was concerned about it getting stolen. That happens in my neighborhood. I have had much more consideration from the USPS but when it comes to shipping, the vendors don't normally give you a choice. I believe that that is why UPS has no concern for its customers.

For the last two days I have a very challenging experience with UPS. My package initially was expected on 5/10. I waited all day to find out the package was not delivered due to "wrong address". The following day 5/12 their message to me was "The company or receiver name is incorrect. This will delay delivery. We're attempting to update this information. The address was "corrected". Again, waited all day. At 7:29 PM I received a message it had been delivered at my front door. Guess what, it wasn't there. I called within 15 minutes (I was busy trying to find my package) of this message. UPS told me they would do an investigation to locate the package.

Fortunately the people who bought our old home called us. We immediately retrieved the package. Once I looked at the label, I found it had my correct address. UPS scanned the address in without my apartment number. On the label it also had my phone number! I have come to the conclusion UPS can't read and or does not care!

I have never cared for UPS... especially when compared to FedEx whom was always much more reliable. Many bad experiences with UPS but never did any reviews until now. What happened me today was really over the top. I had ordered a camera lens that was promised to me on Friday (5/11/18) Much to my chagrin UPS had a 12 hour window which forced me to stay home all day to wait for the delivery. Now for the bad part: I never received my item. Instead of delivering to me, they left the package off at the management office in my building which is only open until 3:30pm. Wouldn't have been so bad if I was at least notified the package was left there. Nothing!

Even though there was a few hours left to that 12 hour window, I felt something was wrong at around 5pm. Called them and they said they didn't know what the problem was. Had to call them back several times before they finally told me what happened. Said they weren't able to reach the delivery guy for a few hours. Say what??? Isn't this the 21st Century? Nobody could call him on his mobile phone? This is without a doubt a substandard company that should do the world a favor and shut their doors down. My photo shoot I lined up for Saturday with some friends in now cancelled thanks to UPS.

Due to my work schedule I was not able to make it to the store to pick up the gift and asked for to be redelivered the next day. They said that it would take two business days to have it re-delivered which would put it past Mother’s Day.

After speaking with several people I was given a case number. I was told I would hear back from the local UPS distribution center manager. I never did.

I called the supervisor back who left a number to a voicemail box, I called several times with no return calls. Every customer wants to feel important and when they have an issue they want someone to respond. I feel as if UPS is a big company that does not handle individuals. They handle mass shipping. What they don’t understand is customer is the base of what determines if you are a good company. There are a lot of one star reviews out there.

They said ok, told us the cost for 1-2 day shipping and that was it. 3 days later we called them, asked them where our package was and they told us they lost our package telling us, because I did not declare a price for this package the default price we are going to get for this lost package is 100 dollars.

So this is the issue, I am on my way to Mexico from Texas to do some work on our NGO with our attorney in Mexico. The problem was that I needed some papers that were being sent to me in Texas and would not arrive before I had to leave home… Answer? Just have someone at home send them to me in Mexico when they arrive at home in Texas. In checking, they could get there by Wednesday if sent on Monday. So that is what we did. They were sent on Monday with a guarantee to arrive by Wednesday (EOD) (our meetings with the government officials were scheduled for after lunch on Thursday. No problem).

PROBLEM… We selected UPS for our shipper. I know we all ship UPS in the States with good results… This was my first international shipment using them. The shipment did not arrive on Wednesday, or Thursday, Or Friday. Our flight left on Saturday with no word from UPS. I did do some checking on Thursday/Friday with the local UPS office… Problem, they did not answer their phone, and the tracking number did not work (“No information on that number at this time”). So, we went to the local UPS office location shown in the local website… You guessed it, no UPS store there!!! Well I am a fairly laid back guy so I did not get too excited. It also gives me an excuse to go back in August to finish the process we need to complete. Great place and the food is fantastic!

I checked in at my local Texas UPS office when I returned to chat with them about THEIR problem. Guess what, it is not their problem, it is my problem! They will track it down and will attempt to get it back, but not only will they not reimburse the shipping charges (over $90), they will charge me to get it shipped back. Also, “with international shipments you will have to call or go online and report this issue.” They actually said that!!! When you work with a shipper that makes the USPS look like a customer focused group falling all over themselves to assist the customers… you are in trouble. THAT IS UPS. This is actually my fault… I could have picked FedEx or DHL and received my stuff. I just did not think it out. The lesson: Avoid UPS when shipping international. Both FedEx and DHL have a great record on customer satisfaction. Learn from my big mistake. THANKS.

Two issue, both about laziness. First, when I request urgent DELIVERY by 10am, I expect it to actually be DE-LIV-ERED. UPS apparently considers "delivered" to mean "we'll let you come to US to pick it up." I took a half day off work to wait for international airline tickets that absolutely needed to reach me by 10am that day. No one showed up. At 11am I called UPS to find out what happened and they claimed it had been delivered. I finally got out of the automated system and spoke to a physical person and they informed me that the delivery was actually on the truck still and that between the hours of 12pm and 1pm I could drive to the grocery store parking lot where it would be and pick the package up myself.

No explanation as to why they claimed it had been delivered when it had not. When I showed up to pick it up, there were -not kidding here- SEVEN UPS trucks parked in a nice neat little row at the end of the parking lot, all with the rear doors wide open and the drivers just milling about chatting. Apparently UPS feels this open-air market setup is the same as delivering to your door.

Second, when I have to return a package and UPS is scheduled to pick the stupid thing up, I don't think it's out of line to expect that UPS actually come to the door, knock, and pick up the package. But no, apparently UPS defines "pick up" as coming to your door, NOT knocking at all, sticking a return label sticker on the door, then leaving, and letting me bring the package to them. I remember a UPS that wasn't so damned lazy.

Out of the 6 packages I have had delivered to me via UPS I have been able to keep the original item 0 times. That's right, never. I have had to send every single package back to the sender for a replacement, because for some reason UPS is completely incapable of getting my packages to me in one piece. That latest victim was a speaker cabinet made from 1" thick wood. You would think it could take a hit without much damage, but oh no. UPS found a way to damage it such that I have to send back yet another package. This has gotten to the point where I have started to call companies and specifically ask for them to use FedEx, and if they refuse to do so then I refuse to buy anything from them.

I could get money back after several correspondences and involving the company that had shipped the package. The UPS tracking information was never in real-time - it was always hours late (even up to 24 hours late). The scans were scant - one scan per country! (Was the scan an "incoming" or "outgoing" country scan?) The initial delivery date changed throughout the days - first one date, then another, then back to the original date, then finally no date! I even signed up for cell phone updates - except for the initial cell phone message, I never received another one.

The website interface is "clumsy" (as opposed to "intuitive") - I have to second guess where I might find more information, or where I might be able to save my tracking number, so that I may check in regularly without having to enter the tracking number every time! I used another International Courier Company (FedEx) and while I had to pay more for this, the comparison is moot! I would never willing use UPS as a(n International) Courier Service. Pay more, for better service, elsewhere!

I called in way beyond the shipping date, my bad, and my package was sent to the abandonment department, understandable. Sooo... UPS tells me I need to have the sender contact them to approve the package release, and so the sender calls UPS. Sender calls me to say I need to pay UPS the brokerage fee first, no problem. I call UPS to pay the fee. UPS won't accept payment until the package release is cleared by the sender {this must be a joke, get it together UPS}! Sender makes a call to UPS AGAIN and send me a follow up email to confirm.

I call back UPS and go though the same hampster wheel again. This time I refuse to have the sender contact them yet again, in shame that UPS Canada is so disorganized. So I get put on hold, UPS comes back to say my package has been discarded, other than that I would have, at that point, been able to pay the Fee and pick up the package. At this point, I'm so frustrated, I'm almost relieved the package isn't there and I can move on... 3 hours later I get a message on my machine that a mistake has been made and my package is there!

Well, I call back and surprise! They try to tell me the package is not there and the manager I demanded to speak to is too busy to take my call. I demand the Manager, I get the supervisor who also tells me the package is not there. I tell the supervisor to put me on hold, call the abandonment department and find out where the package is and when and where I can pick it up, and so he does! Then comes back and says my package is there and that the gentleman who called me was right, well yeah that is why I am calling! This actually happened and each call took 30 mins minimum! I'm amazed at how disorganized this company is!

Last year, we signed up for UPS My Choice so that we could get notifications for packages coming, and leave delivery instructions. We had quite a few wedding gifts delivered via UPS from Macy's. The driver was excellent, leaving the packages exactly where we had asked, hidden from sight from the busy street. This is in the suburb area south of Dallas. Fast forward to this year, and I have now had 4 packages this year not deliver on time. The first one had been ordered with Amazon two day shipping and was time-sensitive, when I called and asked, they said the driver had a full load that day and hadn't been able to find the house (he was new). But online, it showed no one was there to receive the package... Even though it did not need a signature, and the instructions said to leave it on our porch.

Fast forward to the next day, the driver gets there at 8 pm to deliver it - FAR too late for us to use the items that had been needed for an event earlier that day. Last week, I had another Amazon package coming. Friday, it shows out for delivery, estimated window 10am-2pm. Great. We were home all day - again, this was time sensitive as well. Online, it finally showed at 6:49 pm that the delivery had been attempted but no one was home - this was untrue. There was someone home all day, the truck never came by that we could see, and no knock on the door at all. They would not attempt to deliver it again either! I called customer service on Saturday and was told my two options were to either pick it up from the Access Point, or to give them my credit card to pay for an "Address change" to have it delivered somewhere else!! I already pay Amazon for free 2 day shipping, they pay you so NO.

I picked it up Monday (once again, too late - I got my money back from Amazon though. This week is our baby shower - guess who Target picked as their shipper?? UPS was supposed to deliver two packages yesterday, and again, when I log in, I see my instructions for the driver - who again puts in the system at 8:29 pm that the receiver was not available for delivery - no truck seen, no knock on the door, NOTHING. These packages, and another set for Thursday HAVE to be here for our baby shower. This is truly unacceptable. I called customer service today, was assured they would contact the center to tell the driver to leave them on the porch. I get a call from the center while I'm on the phone with customer service - I immediately call back.

I sit there and wait with the phone ringing for 5 minutes - I ask for the gentleman, Bobby, who'd left the message. I was placed on hold again - was left waiting for 6+ minutes before someone picked up (I heard talking) and then hung up. The call disconnected. This happened twice more. I refused to be put on hold the last time. I was told to "hold on lady" while they got him. He told me he talked to the driver and told the driver to leave the package on the porch and that this has to be delivered today. Online, it still shows processing for delivery at the top, although in the detailed tracking it says it's on the truck... Great - except what about the rest of the week, how are you going to ensure this doesn't keep happening, since it has on 3 occasions with 4 packages now?

"I've done all I can, I will talk to the driver. Have a nice day, goodbye." So I decided to leave a review so others would see and know that this hub/driver does not care about getting packages delivered in a timely manner (when they're supposed to, according to their tracking) OR customer service, since they were nothing but rude to a rightfully upset customer. Oh, and by the way, the post office and FedEx have NO problems finding our house or delivering our packages on time, and I have never had a problem with either of them!

When the driver specified they "attempted" delivery, there was NO Knock on the door and NO ringing of the doorbell. How in hell are we supposed to know that the driver is at the front in order to sign for the package???? Now, I have to make a trip to a Postal Annex store to pick up the package that should have been delivered. The absolute worst service!!

I’m writing to report that I have lost several hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise due to UPS’s delivery practices. In the past, if a person wasn’t home to receive a package, UPS would leave a notice instructing pickup at their one of their depot locations. Now, drivers simply leave the package at your doorstep. They won’t even attempt to ring your bell (I have been home on several occasions during a ‘delivery’). A brief Google search of this company’s delivery practices will reveal several methods of corruption to this system including theft of packages, and even drivers who actually fail to complete a delivery - while indicating a completed delivery in their system. I have been notifying my vendors that I will only do business with them if they can offer delivery by either FedEx or DHL. I done with UPS!

For the last 2 years since I move to a new suburb of Detroit, MI my packages are everywhere. I am an avid online shopper and packages sometimes come every week. My $900 dollar computer was delivered to the wrong address. My pet bed wrong address. 2 other packages just lost. I moved to a new house =, same zipcode, about 1 mile away. 5 packages in 1 day to neighbor, who refused package said it was wrong address, said they delivered, I call UPS same night, they say they don't know where it is. It's on your truck and your delivery person lied about delivering it.

Delivery included $200 shoes, about $200 in houseware and other stuff. They delivered to the same neighbor again when she was not home, she finally contacted us saying she had our stuff. Multiple packages, wrong address, sent back, multiple complaints, nothing done by company. So now hold my packages at the UPS, sent package back to company without informing me they had package. No email, but they delivered 3 other packages from other companies that same week. Really? shady business!!!

Very poor standards. One of the most incompetent companies I've ever had the displeasure of being forced to use. Avoid at all costs. Almost every time I use them something goes wrong. Either the package is returned to where it came from or lost. Truly horrible, I feel immediately angry whenever I see that a vendor uses them. They are also expensive, which means you get very unreliable service for a horrible price. Really amazing stuff.

Brokerage fee for a package from Michigan to Ontario. The fee was payable to UPS and had nothing to do with the seller. This is how UPS detailed the charge: Customs Duty: $0. Customs HST: $10.88. Entry Preparation fee: $19.95. Bond Fee: $6.00. COD Surcharge: $4.25. Brokerage Taxes: $3.92. Total amount assessed: $45.00. When I went to the destined office to collect my package I was guided to go out near the big installed locker box of UPS and collect it myself by entering the required details. The locker box was mighty and huge. I do really appreciate the technology and the locker system. I fed in all the required details in the locker system. Standing in front of it and actually to be noted in OUTSIDE FREEZING COLD. But locker refused to open due to some technical faults. I had to request from the employee out there to help me out. But I was directed to stand outside in front of the locker in the FREEZING COLD and contact the customer care number from the locker.

Point noted here:- Have to stand there and talk because they will request you to show your ID card in the camera hosted in magnificent locker box. Then finally my locker got opened and I could collect the long awaited package. All this process has to be done in the freezing cold. My only request here is, I am person who appreciate the advancement in technology. But why can't this locker box be installed inside a building rather than outside. At least some covered wall feature. This can improve customer satisfaction.

We were UPS customers both personally and with multiple businesses over at least two decades and that is no longer the case. We cannot trust them to not destroy our packages and we no longer use them for anything. UPS has damaged many of our parcels over the years and has only claimed responsibility for one of them. One of these packages was actually driven over by a truck, the package arrived with a huge tire track across the flattened box. They did not pay for that one either. Countless phone calls to UPS with repeated promises to "call me back tomorrow with an update" reflects a broken system in a broken company that does not care about its customers or the packages they destroy. We have shifted all of our box freight to FedEx and USPS and have not had a single broken item thus far. It has also saved us quite a bit. I'd say about 20% modestly speaking.

We really enjoyed liked one of our UPS drivers from years past, he was a great guy who performed well on his route, so of course he was put on another route and we never saw him again. I have seen how packages are handled by the overworked, rushed UPS personnel who typically have no real incentive to take care of the packages and customers other than getting fired, and the tolerance there is tight on time and loose on damage. That equals lots of throwing, breaking and not giving a **.

I Shipped three (3) HEAVY packages in one shipment from The UPS Store in Charleston, W. Va, to a business in Gibsonia, PA, a distance of 250 miles. UPS delivered two of the 70lb+ packages and LOST the third. HOW do they lose a 71/b package that is part of a three (3) package shipment? Furthermore when dealing with them, it is almost impossible to talk to a human and when one does get a human on the phone, well the human is no more capable of making a decision than is a two year old. I myself had to open a "lost package" claim when my customer did not receive his full shipment. UPS promptly closed the claim, stating they couldn't contact me even though they had my contact telephone and email and I NEVER received either an email or a telephone call from them.

I had to RE-OPEN the lost claim process by giving them a list of automotive part numbers involved in the package which I am certain meant absolutely nothing to them since these were the individual components of an assembled cylinder head. Then I was told it would take another eight (8) business days for them to research the lost package claim. I cannot get reimbursed for my package nor can I get anyone at UPS to tell me when I will or how the claims process will proceed and complete. What was once a great company has now become a horrible company in my opinion. I will never ship with them again. It's the same ole same ole, too much success breeds too much fat and lazy.

First of all, I really do not like the fact that UPS is used by the businesses for my orders, since I never would use them. I have not had a good experience when UPS was the carrier. I have never had a problem with tracking with USPS or FEDEX when tracking; the packages were delivered promptly and always before 8:00 pm which I was told was considered as "by end of day" for UPS. My recent problem was that I had been checking the tracking status of a package on the supposedly delivery date and I had been at home all day. Well, I felt due to my unfavorable impression of UPS, I should call and pray that I could connect with an actual person to make inquiries concerning the package since it was getting close to 8:00 pm.

I called at 7:10 pm and at 7:47 pm because I was told earlier that the end of day would be 8:00 and at that time the tracking still said "Out For Delivery". A few minutes later after ending the call with the UPS agent, I look on the computer and the status read "Attempted Delivery" at 7:51 pm. Of course, I had been at home all day expecting the package and I know no one came. Anyway, the status was changed on the tracking status, there was not any type of notification that anyone had even attempted to deliver the package. Therefore, what is the point of having a tracking system if one can put anything into the computer. Never had that problem with USPS or FEDEX which is why I am always thankful when my packages are sent via these particular carriers.

They posted a notice on my door but my bell never rang. I've asked them as of two years ago to leave packages in a certain area, I live in a high traffic area and packages can be stolen. So did they do as I asked? Yes. ONCE! After that they left electrical equipment out in the snow near the door I asked them to put it in. They constantly leave packages out where they could be stolen. Not even close to where I requested them to leave them. I had a driver deliver a package that wasn't mine. In fact it wasn't even in my area.

Today I tried to call customer service. I dealt with a rude automated recording. Yes it's rude. It told me to call back when I had my tracking # which I had just put into the phone. Then I had to call back after my only options were to pick up or drop package! Then I called back. Talked to someone who could care less what happened. The DRIVER is still in my area. They could ask him to come back. So now I have to rearrange my day for them so they can hopefully ring my doorbell and get the job done This is a crappy company and we should all avoid them until they actually care. ENOUGH!

When moving into our new home our first encounter was with a UPS Driver driving like he was at INDY-500. Him the driver cutting us off at a T intersection where when coming onto our road was in our lane cutting the turn too wide into our lane. This was on different scenarios catching them or him/same driver going around corners and fish tailing due to driving through "snow sand" left from town truck’s sanding roads. During winter the roads are dry and so is sand trucks cutting corners at a higher rate of speed than what is stated for roads. It's obvious! Then we had damage done 3 different times to our mailbox being backed into due to driver backing up and parking on our lawn to go across street to make deliveries instead of either pulling into recipient’s driveway or backing in.

Not only doing damage to private property but not even having courtesy to state did so but lie after another whom does not live at residents seen them do it at least one time out of 3/dbl. Tire tracks left at scene shortly after UPS truck leaving. Driver never informed office and stated never by mail box at any time. When called office after driver being told to stay off lawn & was private property driver mouthy state will park anywhere he feels like it and property where mail box was on not ours??

I told driver if caught on property I would have arrested for trespassing. Not doing business with my home no need to be on my property & would have truck impounded & found out local & state laws clearly state > Any accident/damage to private property which is done by any other person & or vehicle is considered a FELONY when the person that does it either physically & or with a motor vehicle leaves the scene of the accident with no notification to property owner or makes attempted to make contact to notify. Such of said accident is considered HIT & RUN. A FELONY also damage to private property a misdemeanor which can be raised to a felony if proven negligence on part of driver. Really why is tax paid by this household for it and why does it receive mail for this household. Called office 3 different occasions & filed with Corporate HQ/UPS.

Stated at branch office area supervisor does not believe any of statements made. Says they have eye on each driver all time. Can see each turn made & speed driving and location of each truck if drives forward or backs up & truck never been near mail box or parked illegally, note > #9. #22 Parked in middle of road "traffic going back & forth around truck". State law > Obstructing Traffic. The drivers break more laws on road than any other carrier.

We knew we were being harassed by the driver as would "drive past neighbor’s house" who was getting delivery, not pull into their driveway which could allow a Mack Truck to drive up & not stop to make delivery at the end of their driveway & made sure parked on our side of property/road across from the delivery house to harass & aggravate the situations from prior accidents & his mouthing off to us as he was inform of said complaints. Would go out of his way to squat down and try to look into house & wave to say, “Look I am here. What are you going to do about it.” When the area supervisor did nothing and basically called us liars he cut all service from my home and made lying statements to sellers who I purchase items from. I stated I would pick up item at branch facility almost an hour from home which was not true and items sent back with no notice to residence item was there. Just lies to sender of so called notices.

We still receive no packages from UPS AND WAY TREATED! Do not wish to a very unprofessional Co. in our locations but have read of similar situations elsewhere so don't feel like we are only ones. Our Post Master informed us of multiple complaints of these trucks in our area if same driver or multiple & stated nothing they can do as not affiliated with USPS but to contact Corporate & they pass buck back to the area manager who does nothing but lie, take driver's side and blacklist ones who report about!! Since we started taking photos to prove our statements & getting guard dogs the driver has used the neighbor's driveway. This was a driveway he the driver stated could not drive into as obstructed???

We still do not receive packages from UPS & prefer not to due to their rude unprofessional*** behavior! They also block driveways to make deliveries so people cannot get out of their driveways as making deliveries to a home across the road {instead of pulling into the driveway of the recipient} & block major highway roads to what may cause accident of cars going opposite direction as cars behind have to wait or proceed around hoping not to be hit by oncoming traffic while they stand & chat with people. While traffic is backed up because of truck left in middle of road "Obstructing Traffic".

Customer beware: The UPS store at 3712 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL lost a package that I brought to them for delivery in December of 2017. It was a Christmas gift that never arrived, but that is not the biggest problem. When I called the local store to try to track the package and get assistance with finding the package, I was met with a very hostile and unhelpful response from the woman who answered the phone initially and on subsequent calls. Finally after about a month, it seems she filed a report of the lost package with UPS itself and had an agent from UPS phone me. That representative was very helpful on the phone but proceeded to not follow up with me, or ask for the needed paperwork or documentation in order to issue a refund. Eventually a check was arrive in the mail for an amount that was quite a bit less than the value of the goods sent.

I called the UPS claims group about that and was told to fill out new claims forms and provide a copy of the invoices, which I did. I was instructed to fax the info to the UPS Claims Processing Center. I tried to fax the info on a Friday and again twice on the following Monday. The fax number was not accepting faxes. I called about this and was told to mail in the forms (which is also an option on the form). I replied that if I did, I would have no proof of having mailed the information.

However, since I had no other option I mailed the forms and supporting information on 3/5/18. I have never received a call or followup in any way since that time. I called today 4/12/18 to follow up and was told (after being transferred a few times) that the paperwork was not received. Then the agent told me that there was a resolution entered into the system but that the information was sent to the local UPS Store at 3712 N. Broadway and that maybe I should call them.

If the local UPS store received information on a claim for a package sent through them, they should have contacted me. But of course they did not. That store was not helpful in the beginning so it is no surprise that they are not being helpful now. I would like to add that the store employee pointed out quite strongly that their store is not UPS (even though they are a UPS Store, with a big sign to prove it) and that they are not responsible for any lost packages. So here it is 4 months later with no proper handling of the claim for the package UPS lost. They did not follow the claims protocol on their website. Almost no one gave me a straight story, and I am done. I do not ever plan to use that UPS store again which is too bad because it is a convenient location for me. So far, I am not planning to ever use any UPS store in the future. I have had significantly more professional and reliable service from the post office!

UPS has always been my least favorite delivery service. I have had multiple issues with them, especially recently. I have had multiple packages out for delivery that do not get delivered. I even had a delivery driver blatantly lie about attempting to deliver a package and enter it in the tracking notes. I had been following the live delivery map and listening for the truck all night and he never came. If I had a choice, I would never use UPS ever again. FedEx is the gold standard when it comes to delivery and I wish I could use them every time.

The next attempt by UPS resulted in my package being delivered to Old Fort, TN... That’s a completely different state!!! I have entered my address into different devices using different apps and GPS always finds my location perfectly, do the drivers not utilize this?! Any time I try to resolve this problem with customer “service” I am told that it is resolved and still never receive my package OR the rep has such a strong accent that I finally abandon the attempt for “service” altogether. I honestly cannot fathom how UPS is even still an active company. Such a joke!

Literally every single time I've dealt with UPS was a headache. Once, they literally dropped about $1.5k worth of computer parts at a house 4 blocks from me, and the rep said the driver's reason was that he likely just wanted to get home and it was his last delivery, and a signature was required. This time, a signature was also required, and the driver claimed he STILL just sat my package out by the road - as in, didn't even bring it to my door - and it was stolen. As in, he told his boss that. Wow. It's been years since I last accepted a shipment through them, and the only reason I used them this time is because I didn't think to look at the carrier, or even ask once I'd have seen one wasn't listed. Their shippers don't even list that they use them anymore, lol. That's bad.

My package was scheduled for early delivery on Saturday. I was sitting at home, waiting for UPS to deliver my package. In about 5 PM I received an email from them, that my package won't be deliver today because of emergency situation caused by the bad weather. The package was on UPS facility, few blocks away from me. And there was a nice and sunny weather. The real reason was, that they did not want to deliver my package on Saturday. They are too lazy. This is complete disrespect of me and my time. On May 5th, 2018, UPS failed to deliver two packages, from two separate senders, to our address. When I checked the UPS tracking information, both read: "receiver refused delivery". We never refused delivery of either package. I contacted both companies, and while one was satisfied with my word that we had not refused the delivery, the other was not. The second company requested that I pay an additional shipping fee as the UPS tracking information CLEARLY stated: "The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery".

I contacted UPS Customer Service and they confirmed that both packages were damaged in transit, and that we had NOT, in fact, refused any deliveries. When I asked that they correct the tracking information - they REFUSED. UPS Customer Service said that adding the damage scan was sufficient, and, should a company require further clarification, they can request a LETTER OF EXPLANATION from UPS.

This is how the tracking information currently reads for both shipments: "04/06/2018 1:02 A.M. Your package was damaged in transit. We will notify the sender with details. / All merchandise discarded. UPS will attempt to notify the sender with details of the damage. West Columbia, SC, United States. 04/05/2018 10:04 P.M. The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery. / The package will be returned to the sender. 04/05/2018 12:30 P.M. The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery. 04/05/2018 7:15 A.M. Destination Scan. 04/05/2018 6:56 A.M. Destination Scan. 04/05/2018 6:55 A.M. We'll be in your area and will deliver your UPS SurePost® package instead of the post office. 04/05/2018 6:00 A.M. Arrival Scan."

UPS should manage their own information!!! It's not my responsibility, nor a company's responsibility, to contact UPS for a letter explaining what happened to a package(s) they were paid to deliver. Their tracking information should ONLY reflect ACCURATE information. If a customer did not refuse a delivery - their tracking information shouldn't state otherwise. If they damaged a package - their tracking information should clearly state that. The UPS Agent told me that customer refusal is sometimes used as a "default scan" by drivers for damage. THAT IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE DEFAULT FOR DAMAGE!! That puts the blame and burden on the customer!! The UPS Agent understood the predicament they have put me in and said, while she was sorry and sympathetic, she wouldn't be able to remove the erroneous information.

From now on, I am going to request USPS shipping whenever I'm able. I will avoid UPS as much as possible. Whatever the shortcomings of the post office, I'm never going to be on the hook for extra shipping costs because they decided blaming the recipient was an appropriate "default". UPS will only correct their mistakes in a letter the contracting company (sender) has to request. Outrageous.

At 3pm the status updated to say "a delivery attempt was made at 11:02 AM." Unless driving by an address counts as an attempt that's a lie. I was sitting 20 feet from my door during that time and there were no doorbell rings or knocks. They also didn't leave a delivery attempted note to prove they were there. Then UPS decided since I wasn't there I could drive to the store and pick it up. I called customer service and after wading through the automated system finally spoke to a person who said I could have delivery reattempted but "they only try once a day and since they already had an attempt today Saturday would be the earliest".

I asked for the number of the distribution center so I could call and tell them that either the driver lied or something was up but they said "those numbers aren't public." I then called the local UPS store and they gave me the 1-800 UPS number. All in all, I paid for 2 day shipping to receive 5 day shipping (maybe) and have them lie to me. There is also no place on their website to file a complaint unless a package goes missing.

We have been a UPS customer for over 10 years, shipping our packages to our customers through UPS. On March 22, we dropped off a package at the UPS center at Staples for UPS NEXT DAY AIR for a customer who needed our goods urgently. The package was not delivered until March 26. We then called UPS to request a refund for this package which we paid $106 dollars to deliver the next day. UPS declined the refund. We called them immediately and they stated that it was "out of their hands" and absolutely refused to refund us. They told us to call the Staples location because it was their problem. We called Staples and the UPS department there said they could do nothing about the package because it was with a prepaid label and told us to call back UPS billing department.

We did and spoke to the supervisor of the UPS billing department named David who told us that he couldn't do anything because even though our package was dropped off Thursday, the UPS delivery guy didn't come that day to pick up. He said that it was "out of his control" and that there was nothing we could do about the $106 that we just wasted on "next day air".

We are very dissatisfied with UPS customer service, there are so many loopholes to the "refund policy" that they can exploit out of their customers. In addition, every UPS agent always pushes their responsibility to someone else. This was a UPS billing issue so I don't know why they kept pushing us to the Staples UPS drop off center who pushed us back to UPS billing department. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their action, each party saying "this is out of our control". If UPS is not in control of their UPS drop off locations then who is and what's to say this will happen again? We have wasted so much time trying to deal with this mistake that UPS MADE in addition to losing a valuable customer who is now angry that his package was delivered 3 days late.

The San Francisco Bay Area is known for forward-thinking companies that model efficiency and progress. UPS is the exact opposite! Not only are they backward thinking with their antiquated, inflexible, and limited delivery schedules (they will not give you a delivery time window) they also are completely incompetent. It took calling customer service to find out that they suddenly stopped making Saturday deliveries to my neighborhood. And, because I could only accept my package on a weekday, I was forced to take an entire day off to accept the package because they would not give me a delivery time window. Based on prior bad experiences, I proactively called UPS customer service to advise I had taken the day off to accept and ensure delivery. The agent assured me that the package (a treadmill) would be delivered as scheduled today.

At 5:00 p.m., I called UPS back and learned that the delivery had arbitrarily been rescheduled to Tuesday because they "missed me" because they thought my address, which is located in a residential zip code was a business address. Despite an automated message that advises customers to expect delivery up to 8:00 p.m.--or later, I was unable to arrange to have the package delivered as promised. I called customer support back (my 3rd call in one day) to speak to a supervisor and after waiting 30 minutes to speak to a supervisor someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up without so much as a "hello." Prior to the hang up, the agent required me to give her my number, but when no one called back I was forced to call back again (my 4th call) and waste another 45 minutes trying to arrange delivery with a person who I had to repeat at least half dozen times that due to my schedule, I could not take off another day this week.

Besides having zero ability to listen, he never transferred my call to a supervisor--he just kept telling me to go online to schedule another delivery date this week! This is just one of many horrible customer service nightmares I've experienced with UPS, which appears to have grown too large in the Bay Area to even bother to pretend to care about their customers. Trust me, in the Bay Area, this company is the WORST and sellers/purchasers if you can work with any other delivery company you should do so and AVOID UPS LIKE THE PLAGUE! Moving forward, I will advise sellers that I will NOT purchase goods that require UPS delivery.

I think the UPS in the USA has fairly good service, however, the call center is located in overseas and when I call them, they really act nonsense and very frustrating to deal with them. They need to educate the overseas rep at a call center and have better customer service!

I bought an item from USA about 9 days ago. On the section where you choose your delivery I choose fast delivery and I paid extra to be delivered in three days, yet after eight days, when I track the package shows that it arrived at Lachine location and not moving at all. I called last Thursday, they told me that it will be there by Friday! Now it's Monday 5:24 PM I'm writing this comment. It’s absolutely poor service and never again with UPS.

They leave packages either propped up against my door so that I can't open the door or too far for me to reach. I can't understand why they come all the way up to my door but don't even bother to knock. I'm crippled and have asked them several times to please have the common decency to knock but they never do. I've had several packages ruined or stolen because they leave them in the rain and snow or so far from my door that I have to wait for assistance to retrieve them, leaving them to be taken. I'm tired of the horrible service. If I could request the delivery service when I ordered packages, I would request FedEx... At least they knock and leave my packages where I can easily reach them.

Here we are at 9 pm I call UPS they say, "Wait another 20 mins sir. It will be to you.." 10 pm they UPDATE the website and I call again. He says, "Yes sir. You will get your package Monday!!" WTF did I wait around all day for! I am so P'd off with UPS!!! Trust me this isn't the first time and won't be the last. Now I'm on hold for a supervisor and have been for 15 minutes now! So unprofessional. I cannot even believe they told me on my website it was coming and 3 different people said the same thing and I have no package... Believe I will make my experience known!

In June my sister passed away, 2 weeks ago my niece an only child & I flew to N.Y. to pack up items my niece wanted to send back to California. We packed with care, sadness and memory of the cherished items her mother held dear. A ceramic angel my parents gave my sister when she was 9, she loved it and displayed it in her China cabinet. Her favorite vase and several teapots from her teapot collection. The boxes arrived yesterday in California via UPS. The boxes were destroyed, crushed and some actually retaped. Out of 17 cartons shipped the majority of heirlooms were broken. The angel's wing was chipped. You'll see on the table a handful of item that made it in 1 piece. From the CHAIRMAN & CEO to all the handlers need to be held responsible. Heartbroken.

I ordered a computer that was sent through UPS. First off, Saturday did not count as a work day for them so they made the package sit in the warehouse for a extra day. Now that the package has not shown up in two days because I apparently have a driver that refuses to drive in rain. I called the company to try and set it up so I could pick up the package. The "HUB Station" is not allowing anyone to pick up or driver to relieved and for some reason it also means they refuse to look at the computers and change any information.

This would not be an issue if they did not tell this to people at 2 PM in the afternoon after I have waited two days for a package. I suppose I am not on their high list of areas because a neighbor of mine that lives 10 minutes away still got their package on time. All in all it's been a horrible experiences and it has happened for the last time that I am still going through and I refuse to get any package or go to a company that relies on this place. I will stick with Amazon or FEDEX from now on.

My order said it would be delivered by the end of the day, which was perfect because like everyone else people work during the week. A signature was required because it's a new phone, I understand that and I'm glad they require one. I was leaving work early because UPS gave me an estimated time, which was awesome. Didn't have to worry about not being home because I need this phone for work, which is for DEC. Now I get a notification that the 1st attempt was made at 11:15 a.m? I'm very annoyed with this company, Something needs to be done, I have had it!.

This is why I use FedEx when I can. Last time UPS had a package that I order on February 10th, 2018. It went all over the place and I finally received it on March 18th. And never choose 2 day delivery or 3 day because it will not be there within that time frame! They just want the extra money, it's a big scam! It's always a issue with this company. They need to make some serious changes. Very dissatisfied with the experience.

This happened in Stratford, CT. This driver needs to learn how to read AND follow directions. I am beyond dissatisfied. Will never use UPS again.

Took my camera in to ship to Nikon for repair. Asked to have warranty put on it for loss and damage. Lady told me, "We only do lost protection." I asked her, "What if your driver crushes my box? That's my problem." She said, "Yes because we didn't pack it and unless we pack it, it doesn't cover damage." So for just loss it was 11.60. I said, "Fine. Pack it yourself and cover my camera." It is a 700 dollar camera. So for them to pack it the final cost came to 39.30. 29 ** dollars more. Really? I will never use UPS again. USPS covers loss and damage and doesn't require me to have them package and the cost would've been 17 dollars. Almost half of UPS and probably better service. I am done with this company. That is crap service and not my fault your drivers absolutely suck!!!

When my package made it to Austin, TX, UPS Hub, UPS informed me that they do not deliver to a PO Box. I immediately gave an alternate physical address in Austin via a phone call to UPS call center and via email. UPS instead just referenced public records, located a former address of mine that is over 10 years old and randomly re-routed my package out of State to Phoenix AZ and then delivered it to a Chandler, AZ address via their UPS Mesa, AZ Hub. Why do that?? People move all the time!! Why would UPS do that instead of verifying and acting on pertinent address correction information from the shipper or customer?? Very bad business practice!! I still don't have my package and no follow up from UPS and over a week has gone by since my package was expected. Instead their phone recording relating to track my package reports that the package was successfully delivered to Austin, TX. Wrong again!!

Sent a package from MS to OH, just before the holidays last year. It never reached the intended recipient. Found out much later it was left at the complex manager's office who is apparently an unscrupulous SOB because that's the last person to handle it. At first UPS denied responsibility because their records showed it was "delivered". I contend it's their responsibility to see it gets to the intended recipient. If the apt. manager can't be trusted, then packages should not be left with him. After numerous phone calls and them putting me thru the wringer, just to make a claim, they still refused to pay much of the value of the package. As a matter of fact, I've yet to see a refund of any kind. It's been over three months! Will never ship UPS again!!!

I received an invoice from UPS for a shipment that I knew nothing about or did not authorize. However, I have an account with UPS that I set up to facilitate the shipment of personal packages from my residence. I called UPS to question the unknown invoice. I was told UPS does not provide anyone account numbers of their customers. However, the only requirement UPS has for validating a shipment is for someone to have a valid account number. No other security checks are made.

UPS needs to provide a higher level of authorization to prevent customers from being charged for shipments that they did not authorize. The current system they have is unconscionable. UPS did reverse the charge but I had to deal with the aggravation and effort to fix the problem. I closed my UPS account to prevent another occurrence of this problem. If you have a UPS account, this problem may happen to you.

I have them 1 star because it wouldn’t let me type without a star. But for me I’ll give them NO STAR. Disgusted with the service that UPS has given me. I’ve contacted them at least 7 times about my package that was scanned, put on truck for delivery. All day on truck to then taken back to facility. Then re-routed again the next day and same thing. Back to facility and re-routed for the 3rd day. I’ve called. Spoke to 4 different supervisors, 6 agents and gave them same information and they still couldn’t and don’t know why driver didn’t bring my package to my home. Lied to me that it was gonna be delivered by 10:00 am then another day by 10:00 pm and the next between 11:30 am and 3:00 pm. Never got my package then they decided to stop my package and claim address was incorrect.

When I have them the address more then 10 times and they said the address was correct. They are a piece of garbage. I wouldn’t trust them again. They need to fire the truck driver, facility manager and all them damn supervisors I spoke to. If the address was incorrect the first time. Why scan the damn pacakage and reroute it on the truck again and again and again.

The reason for my review today is because in my excitement over a big purchase I'd been saving for and working towards for over a year, I didn't realize my package was being delivered UPS. I was already told it'd be delivered the 21st by end of business but decided to really look at what was happening... Oh. Oh... It was received, scanned, and then thrown in a bin for 'screw them' purchases AKA all UPS packages. It's in CA, just sitting in a bin and has been for 3 business days. It won't move for another almost two business days (because I guarantee it won't get a departure scan until 8 PM on the 20th) when it will make a move and be delivered next day as though on an overnight rush, from CA to FL. If they were just going to wait 4 days and overnight it why didn't they just overnight it on the intake scan day?

The worst part is it was a $1,500 laptop purchase. I want my purchase in UPS's hands for the LEAST amount of time, not sitting getting wrecked by whatever alien monster battles happen in their warehouses for EIGHT DAYS. Every time we have a package coming from UPS you can guarantee that it will not be delivered until the end of business on D-Day if at all. The only packages delivered during 'normal mail hours' are Amazon vendor packages. We have literally received packages off THE SAME TRUCK twice in a day because Amazon packages go out in the AM and at 8:30 PM at night is when we get our non-Amazon UPS packages. The driver will NOT give you the other packages even if he himself knows they're in the truck because they're scheduled for 'end of day' delivery. They'd rather add more time to the route than do it right.

Packages are almost guaranteed to be crushed, smooshed, wet, greasy, or damaged in some horrible way that makes your blood boil as you tear open your package expecting your 8-10 day wait to have culminated in a damaged/broken product delivered because of UPS's negligence. I am happy to say that it seems vendors know they can expect the worst handling and zero care on UPS's part and most if not all packages come with extra protection around the product.

When purchasing the same product multiple times from a vendor that changes carriers I see Amazon USPS products getting a bit of that brown paper wadded up while UPS will have 6 layers of bubble wrap... Which you can see from the usual gaping hole from what looks like a javelin attempting to pierce the package. One of the worst things about UPS is the price for non-businesses. I don't know why any site uses UPS aside from what must be amazing and competitive contract pricing on their end. Us customers are getting shafted.

I purchased a set of two bearings off an ATV website and shipping was almost EIGHT DOLLARS. EIGHT DOLLARS and a two-week window delivery from UPS for a product weighing maybe 7 oz that would be 3.50-4.50 first class retail USPS delivered in 1-3 days. And that price depends on the contract if any. Worst case scenario 7 or so is a small flat rate USPS delivered in 2-3 days. I also find it infuriating that they can never specify when 'end of business' is. It could be 7 PM... Or 10 PM. They don't know. They don't know where their drivers are, what they're doing, what packages are on the truck, if the packages are out for delivery, or when they will be delivered... Ever.

Besides all the business and handling and everything else... They also steal the sense of excitement from a delivery. After the 4th truck passing going the same way down my 4 mile dead-end street with no stop made, that sense of jitters fizzles out into a sense of frustration and defeat, figuring your package won't even be delivered that day. If it is, it's more of a 'finally, ugh' instead of a 'YAY IT'S HERE!'. I actively avoid businesses that only offer UPS shipping unless it's the only place I can buy the product I'm looking for and will never use them for any of my outgoing shipping needs.

UPS picked up two parcels from my business shipping dept., one which belonged to UPS and the other which had been meant for FedEx. Driver is not required to always scan labels, and took the parcel without checking. Parcel lost and cannot be found. I have security footage of driver accepting the package, and the driver admits that, although his orders said to pick up one package, he simply changed his records to read 2 packages, and did not scan or check labels. Parcel contents very expensive. UPS opened an investigation which they concluded with no recompense or admission of wrongdoing, saying "Sue the driver, then." Terrible business response, and I will never use UPS again!
