    Ordered a package from Best Buy that shipped all the way from Minnesota. Arrived in state, then was inexplicably transferred to my local post office for delivery. This caused a three-day delay in my delivery time.

    As a small business, we ship items all over the USA, and UPS has destroyed so many items over the last 5 years. You know it's bad when every UPS driver you encounter tells you to NOT mark "fragile" on packages because that encourages the warehouse workers to manhandle the box. We've filed a police report for an item that was stolen by a UPS driver, after the insurance claim was closed 3 times from within to cover it up. Don't bother purchasing the insurance as they don't honorably inspect the item and will make-up reasons to decline the claim so they don't have to pay. Finally, and probably my biggest complaint is that now one must pay nearly $5 to get a signature upon delivery, which used to be included in shipping costs, and it still is with FedEx.

    Almost every delivery I get with UPS is either lost or missed the delivery date. Even if I pay extra for guaranteed delivery by a certain date that date is missed. No more dealing with UPS. I'd rather deal with the US Postal Service or FedEx.

    Had a package sent, someone returned it back to vendor without my permission so I had another sent by the vendor to a different address where my recipient would be. As this was an EXTREMELY critical item (aircraft part, with AOG), I have a duplicate order OVERNIGHTED! NEITHER package made it and they had every excuse in the book. A YEAR LATER, they are still hounding me for money after trying to BRIBE me to pay them and they would issue a full credit if I gave them all my FedEx work. You just can't make this stuff up.

    I greatly enjoy the convenience of locations, friendliness of employees and the speed and reliability of delivery. USPS always has convenient locations, I like that they offer passport services and the good old fashion way of buying stamps and boxes at the post office vs online or printing from home. Staff are always helpful!

    Always fast, always on time, use every month, best way to ship. IS A DEPENDABLE, ACCOUNTABLE SHIPPER. Way better, way faster than USPS plus their tracking is very accurate. I never use USPS unless it is an item I bought that has free shipping (USPS) and that usually takes twice as long.

    Have been very happy with UPS over the busy holidays. Try to put the package in a nonconspicuous place at the door. Rings the door bell when package is delivered and get messages on tracking my package. I have no complaints.

    I like that they ring the doorbell after delivering a package, so I can bring it in right away. Also, if they don't see a car in the driveway they put it where it is difficult to see from the road. Great company!

    UPS takes good care of my packages and I really like being able to track a shipment and receive updates. Tracking information is accurate and I am alerted as soon as the package is delivered. This really assist in avoiding package theft.

    Always polite and on time, they have been great! I have seen them come about 6 o'clock and use a flashlight to get to the porch because our driveway was very wet and they had to park at the road. Always a smile and thank you!

    UPS is certainly better than some, Amazon anyone? The things I dislike about UPS are it takes forever to receive a package and it constantly seems to be making up decisions on the fly of when, and who ultimately delivers at the end, UPS or USPS. Then when it finally arrives, they don't announce they are dropping it on by a doorbell or knock. My neighborhood is notorious for porch pirates, and since a lot of the time I am home when it arrives, I want to know immediately.

    Dumps my packages anywhere even a block away... consistently poor service. I’ve now asked Humana to use FedEx since UPS has more than once left my $1,890 medicine at different addresses. The medicine has to be kept refrigerated so this is a huge mistake.

    I usually use UPS for convenience in shipping pkgs to my son in Colo. A few years back my son did not receive Christmas pkg from me. Broke my heart. Tracking pkg showed driver delivered pkg to another address (nowhere near my son) and signed it had been delivered. Gift box included personal items, pics, etc which were irreplaceable and the person who incorrectly rec'd the pkg refused to return it to correct address. I did receive insured amt from UPS and driver was either fired or suspended.

    This past Christmas I shipped a pkg to my son and at the retail dropoff the UPS driver had just arrived to pick up pkgs. The driver completed my paperwork for me which I appreciated. In quoting a shipping rate there was a $27 increase in the rate charged from the retail store as opposed to the rate from their shipping center. I always thought the retail out jacked up their prices, now I know for sure and will certainly take my pkgs to the shipping center. If I knew where the FedEx center was I would go there as UPS doesn't deliver on weekends or count the weekend days as ship days.

    When I placed my order it was being shipped by UPS then on the day it was originally scheduled for delivery it now says it was handed over to the local post office Tuesday morning at 7 am. It is now Wednesday evening at 5:45 pm, still no package and still sitting at the post office. Great service haha.

    Throw and break packages, leave in rain puddles, rude delivery people, do not follow written delivery instructions, not reliable, change times and delivery dates frequently, not courteous, will not dialogue with customer.

    Many deliveries are not on time, at times UPS could not find the address that packages are addressed to. Twice, UPS wrongfully assumed the addressee had moved and incorrectly entered this into their system, causing aggravation and up to an hour spent on the phone to correct and have redelivered. I am understanding UPS is franchise operated and does not have appropriate training in place for its drivers.

    We had 3 packages shipped from UPS store in NH to our Florida address. 2 arrived. The third package was hijacked to an Amazon Distribution Center in Hebron, KY. I watched the tracking as it left Lakeland, FL and made its way to Hebron, KY. I made several calls to stop it, but was told it was being returned to shipper and only the shipper could make the change. At each of my attempts I was told someone from UPS would be calling me and that never happened. The UPS store I shipped it from made attempts to no avail. UPS was unable to get the package back from Amazon. A claim was filed and I will get $100 + shipping costs which does not cover the value of my clothing. This to me was more than a lost package because that package was hijacked and I find UPS lack of concern unacceptable.

    I shop online a lot. I have packages coming to me almost on a daily basis. I have lived in my apartment for 10 years. We have lockers for our packages to be left there safely. But, still the unhuman delivery personnel would do whatever they desire with the packages. Leave them in the lockers, not leave them and take it back, leave them behind the door for the thief, make up “a signature req” note, take the package and leave it for pick up without letting you know and then return the package to the merchant, give false delivery dates... And the “my choice” ugh... Useless tool to waste your time. Customer service is the worst in history. Why? Why such company should even exist? Only if I had power! I would fire the runners and all the employee of the company and close it down forever.

    My last sale through Amazon, which Amazon, said was an 8.00 ground shipment through UPS, and is what they paid me wound up costing me 36.00. The USPS, on the other hand, would have charged me for Priority 2 day shipping only about the 8.00 I was paid so I called the UPS company and complained to them that Amazon, said it was supposed to be 8.00 not 36.00 and I was told that they would reimburse me the difference but after 4 more calls politely asking them why they haven't done it yet, they told me flat out too bad, they were not going to reimburse me. Also some of the packages I get delivered to me banged up showing that they were not careful with them. That said I try my best not to use UPS.

    I do a great Deal of shopping online, therefore, receiving and returning packages is the norm. UPS service is dependable, you also get a tracking number and updates if you wish, on your mobile phone. I find that this service suits all my needs.

    The driver on our route is excellent and he makes all the difference in the world. When he is out, the service is about the same as everyone else...not great. Packages are often delivered to the incorrect address etc.

    The only problem I have with UPS is actually a current one. I have lived at the same address for almost 13 years and have received many packages from them. I was expecting one yesterday and it did not come so I went online to see where it was and it said that they could not validate my address and my package would not be delivered. I was actually shocked so I called the facility and the lady I spoke with said I could come to the facility and pick it up but only between 4:00 and 7:00 which, unfortunately doesn't work for me with my schedule.

    They could not re-route it to my workplace. She said I could try to re-schedule or have it sent back to the company I bought it from and have them re-send it to my work address. What??? I finally just went online and asked for it to be re-delivered and a man called me back and I had to give him step-by-step directions to my house from the facility. Do the trucks not have GPS? Does the driver not have a phone with Google Maps? My address shows up on both of these handy items. Anyway, we will see if it gets there today. I like UPS and this is just a single incident but it is one that feels like if I had not persisted would have ended sadly and still may if they cannot find my house again. I really want my shoes!!

    A lot of boxes are damaged when received, shipping rates get higher all the time, charge for picking up a prepaid item being returned unless you can get a driver to take it. Delivery timing is becoming a problem also. I get one delivery date and then it is changed for some unknown reason. My delivery person was recently changed and the service is notably gone down.

    I don’t recall UPS ever letting me down. They just delivered my new Apple MacBook and in spite of their sweat and blood to cover their grueling route, the young man smiled and was very professional in asking for my signature. UPS is my favorite shipper!

    Shipping on the website is super easy. I love that they have pickup locations so close to where I work and live. Whenever I have gone into the store, they are friendly and can help with anything. The shipping pricing is lower than the competitors.

    For the most part, I can count on UPS for on-time reliable service. They did destroy one package which needed to be returned. A few times, packages have been directed to the wrong address/State. I still prefer UPS over FedEx.

    This company should be put out of business. The only good workers that they have who are not lazy should be send to another carrier company. Believe me when I tell you that I pray for another company with good customer service to put them out of business. It will happen there is always someone out there that will profit from their negligence, poor customer service, and laziness.

    We shipped Christmas gifts via UPS this year. We were very happy with the prices we received online, was cheaper than prices we'd received at the store in previous years. This ship time was accurate and good. Liked the delivery notifications we received. The only thing we didn't like was that they didn't confirm the price at the store. We thought they would check the weight and dimensions to make sure we did it right. I think more instructions on the website of how to accurately measure the dimensions would help. Like if the box pooches out in the middle, do you measure that or from the corners? And do you round up or down? Altogether, a very good experience and we will use UPS online next time.

    I've lived at my address for 2 years, I had a few hiccups the first few packages that were delivered to me. After that everything was smooth. Starting August 2018 they cannot get a package delivered to my address without sending it back to the sender. I've been the center tries again to send it to me. Sometimes for instance ICD took 12 weeks to get to me, and in this example the CD its original ship from origin was only 10 miles from me and UPS could not get it to me in less than 12 weeks. Now I have 20 packages coming to me for my company my job and I can't seem to get them to me. Calling them is no help. This is a self destructing company. I cannot see how they are staying in business and everybody in my neighborhood is experiencing the same thing. Not getting packages delivered from UPS. Oh, and my neighborhood is probably + 75 homes.

    I ordered a Galileo thermometer from Amazon. It was broken on arrival. I sent it back - UPS - and it took 2 weeks. I reordered another Galileo thermometer and it came shattered. Are they throwing these things around? I will never order another Galileo thermometer again.

    We have the same UPS driver. He is very professional, and polite. He will leave a package in a safe place if we are not available. If the gate is locked he places items in plastic bag and puts it over the gates.

    I recently ordered a 32-inch TV from Amazon scheduled for delivery on 01/03/2019 but it was not outside my apartment door nor was there a note regarding attempted delivery. The TV still wasn't here the next day so I called UPS and they swore they delivered it on the third. Turns out they HAD delivered it on the third, but had hidden it behind a couple of huge barbecue pits around the corner from my front door. There was no note or advisory that they had hidden it. If I had not checked, it would still be there, I would have thrown a fit at Amazon and UPS and made a complete FOOL of myself! I realize now that UPS was just being careful, since I live in an apartment, and hid my TV so no one would lift it. All that was missing in this wee fiasco was a note or a text telling me where my new TV was stowed. Other than that, UPS is always reliable.

    I try to have UPS ship every chance I can get. They are always on time to my door. My packages have never been damaged and they are always so very nice and respectful. They even give my pup a Milk Bone biscuit each time they come. I find their shipping prices are better than FedEx. Hope this helps.

    I have lost packages because UPS leaves the packages in the entrance where anyone passing by can take them. I have reported this in the past to no avail. I have left them instructions in written and posted note on the entrance door and are ignored. Other times, I may or may not receive a text after the package is delivered stating "packaged delivered ", this worries me. Then I rush home thinking they left the package in the entrance and find out they instead, left the package in the rental office a block away. It makes me not want to order online and have things shipped.

    The two top carriers (FedEx & UPS) have such bad delivery service and timing that it makes me to want to make for local purchases. Even if I have to pay more or go a little bit further for local purchases in order to not deal with shipping. There was one time that I ordered something small (6”x4”x4” package) from New Jersey to my residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The package went from New Jersey to the Denver, Colorado area. It stayed in the Denver area for 4 days going from one suburb to another suburb (around Denver) before it finally made way to Albuquerque. It arrived late. When I called to ask why it did not just make its way from the Denver area to Albuquerque, I was told that it all had to do with Logistics and that is how Logistics works. I told them that they need to change the way that they do things.

    The week of Xmas I received a delivery at 9:30 pm and I left instructions to leave on my back porch and both was left on my front porch. I asked to send it to a Walgreens store and it told me that it was delivered to the alternate site but was brought to my house.

    I try to use any one but UPS. It may cost more but usually the boxes doesn’t look like they have been kicked and stomped on. UPS is too big and they never are in the wrong. They always blame it on the shipper that their packaging wasn’t good enough. Had an item shipped thru UPS and yes the shipper over packed it and it still showed up broken. UPS told me to go pound sand.

    I was charged a rate higher than the actual weight. I presume this based on volume and not actual weight. The rate I paid was for a shipment to arrive in 4 days from the Detroit area to the Chicago area. The parcel arrived the next day and in perfect shape. I guess I just don’t understand the rates.

    If you want a heavy package (over 50#) destroyed, give it to UPS. If you have a problem with their billing, good luck. If you want to put a claim for damages, don't waste your time. If you want to get a human being on the phone to discuss a problem, good luck. Enough said!!!

    I don't typically do a lot of shipping. My review of this company is based on receiving packages from businesses that often use their shipping services, however I did have a commercial account with this company in the past and I can say that as long as you are shipping out 10 or more packages a month they are a great value.

    UPS sells most manufacturers and retailers contracts that exclude Hawaii and Alaska. Now online suppliers are drop shipping from manufacturers, so getting goods to Hawaii is harder and harder. Shippers with UPS contracts will not send items via USPS, which is the lowest cost shipper. If the UPS shipper will ship to Hawaii, the premium is most often more than double the cost of the product. UPS says they service the US, but not all states, and they compete with the USPS, which does service all states. New CA "expediter" businesses are springing up because of UPS discriminatory marketing. A greedy company.

    We liked UPS in the beginning but, our packages have been opened or, damaged. One of our packages contained a white glove with black dust on it. We wore gloves just to handle the glove. The packages that we payed to be delivered to our home, were brought to the post office instead of being brought to our home. I don’t know what’s happened to this company but, I am not happy the way they have handled our packages at all! All I can say is I think UPS needs to check some of their employees to see what they are doing with our merchandise.

    They were fast, fair and pleasant. The store was set up to take clients in an orderly fashion. They pack and ship which is what I needed. I was completely satisfied with their service and was surprised that my item was going to be shipped so quickly in time for my son's birthday.

    They cost me $800.00 because my package was shipped to the wrong city. Then their wonderful customer service told me it was lost. I am a contractor so I gave my job back and went home, a 4 hour drive. They said if they found it they would send it to my home. They found it 2 days later but shipped it to the original location so I had an 8 hour round trip.

    I've had horrible service from UPS. They can't even remember to ring the doorbell when they throw my package in the bushes. Don't bother calling to speak with a supervisor because they make promises of improved service but when it doesn't happen, there are no consequences. I've received dog beds in cardboard boxes (well-marked) left in the pouring rain so they were saturated when I opened them. I asked one guy to put a new carpet in my garage & as the door started to open he tossed the heavy carpet under the door, ran back to his truck and took off. Of course, this isn't EVERY driver... (just the ones that come to my house).

    Every time I ship boxes there is always something broken. They are very careless when dropping off packages - throws the boxes around rough and don't care how they handle packages and to file a claim it's always saying you can't file claims. Makes the claims difficult to file.

    This review is solely for the positive aspect of UPS and to recognize how awesome our delivery driver is. Our UPS driver Nick of Valley Stream takes wonderful care of our packages. I hear so many nightmare stories of people stealing packages, and late deliveries, however personally I have never experienced that. I can rest assure that my packages are in good hands so long as Nick is working for UPS. Thank you Nick of Valley Stream.

    I had ordered a limited edition guitar which was supposed to arrive on 12/21 to me in Brooklyn, NY for someone as Christmas gift. Waited the whole day, and it did not arrive. I called customer service and they said they would do an investigation. I looked up the tracking number, and for some reason the package was once again leaving Kansas and was no longer in Brooklyn. Do they have incompetent people taking care of their data and tracking? Are they just giving people's packages a trip cross country?

    Finally, about 5 days later, the tracking updates to say it will deliver on 1/03. Waited the whole day, and nothing arrived again. I called customer service and they promised it will be delivered by 9 pm. I waited and nothing ever arrived and then UPS e-mailed me to notify it will arrive on 1/04. Once again, I waited and waited and nothing arrived. I called and now the package got shipped to a local facility across town. Why? I don't know and these people don't know anything apparently and when the local facility called me, they were rude and did not want to answer questions.

    I finally spoke to a supervisor who at least looked like he cared enough to try to help but the local facilities then claimed that they could not find the package in their facility and that it was lost!! A $1,400 limited edition guitar that was supposed to be a Christmas gift was lost! How the hell does a package arrive a facility and then disappears??!! Did someone steal it? A big 6x3 package cannot just disappear into thin air!!! I was only informed of this on 1/16. NEVER AGAIN! AVOID UPS AT ALL COSTS! They are irresponsible and their own team 95% of the time don't even know what the hell they're doing. Whoever operates in these local facilities here in Brooklyn should be fired for negligence, irresponsibility, and plain bad service. Stick to FEDEX. AVOID UPS!!

    I was expecting a package yesterday, so I called UPS in the morning to get an approximate time, because I am a busy person and the package requires a signature. I was told between 12-2, but no guarantees, it was a cold day, but I still opened the front door, so that I would not miss the driver. Around 2 pm, I received an email that the package attempt was made, but I was not home. I went outside to look for the delivery slip they put on your door, but no slip and nobody came by. I called UPS and they told me that I would receive a callback within 1 hr, after an hour, I received my callback. They told me that the driver will return to my house and delivery the package, so do not leave.

    I waited, waited, yet nobody came, I called UPS again and they told me that a supervisor will call within an hour, no call. I called again and the same result, at 6:45, I received another email in my inbox, stating the package delivery was attempted at 6:39, but nobody was home again. After another call, UPS told me, that I can drive 25 miles and pick it up at the UPS center or they will redeliver the package any time I want the following week. The driver needs to be punished, the person who input the order was attempted at 6:39 needs to be suspended.

    This is the most difficult, inflexible shipping company I have ever used. If you work a full time job Mon-Fri it's almost impossible to get your package without taking a day off work. I wasn't able to be home for the delivery and when I called to see if I could pick it up from a drop off location the day after it the failed delivery on Thursday they said I could not come and get it until Monday, no solid answer as to why other than, "That's how it works more or less." The package is there at the building, I would be willing to come get it but no. They refuse to let me come there and get my package until Monday... I work Monday. The package is there at the building where I want to come pick it up but nope I have to wait... WHY EXACTLY?!?

    You may order something and have no means of retrieving it without enlisting the help of friends or family, if you just moved to a new city alone you're hooped. Garbage. Complete and utter garbage. I have never written a review before but this just left me furious. I'm done and I will never use them again period and will continue to encourage others not to and warn them of the risks of dealing with this abysmal company.

    Not only one but two packages within 2 days delivered to the wrong house. I called UPS customer service and got nowhere. If I hadn’t driven around my neighborhood I would have never received my packages. They are a ZERO in my eyes. I hope I never have to use them again.

    I called to crack a delivery an hour after the delivery was made. I never received the item. UPS noted that is was left on my side door. I do not have a side door. The customer service person said that it was restricted and would not track. In addition he said the shipper was Target. It was not.

    I happened to be home as the truck drove up and the driver was sorting out a package for me. He handled them carelessly, and tossed a couple of packages aside, including the one for me. I asked him if he knew what was in the packages. He said no. I said he should be more careful, as since he has no idea what's in the pkg. It might be something breakable. He said, "oh, sorry." Not really, I thought.

    Someone sent me a treadmill as a gift, which I cannot use being a very senior male with age problems. While it was out for delivery I called UPS to alert them that I would refuse shipment. They answered that they could not contact driver to save the inconvenience of unloading them going thru the trouble of returning it. Just bad mgmt.

    Most of the time drivers are arrogant, rude, packages are sometime busted up. Leave packages on the back door which has no doorbell or buzzer. It's disgusting. Do used to be a driver that was very prompt, courteous. He's gone retired. I don't know what UPS have now. Very unreliable.

    Love UPS! I can always depend on delivery when expected or before. I track everything and I have never been disappointed. Delivery personnel are always congenial. There have been times when packages are large they will be at the door until I arrive. Packages are delivered well packaged.

    I have a great driver that rings my door bell when he leaves a package, alerting me that it was left. He is always polite in our exchange of packages that I sign for. When I have to pickup a package, the clerk is always helpful even if I forgot my receipt. I give them a thumbs up for their courtesy.

    I ordered a couple of items through Amazon and Best Buy and the items supposed to be delivered by UPS always delayed or I'm end up cancelling the order. The customer service people are the worst. I was keep asking them to deliver in front of my door but it seems like they never worried about it and I always used to get message like they attempted to deliver the package but no one was in the home. The funniest part about this is I was inside the home and no one knocked the door. These guys (especially drivers) are big liars. If your package is shipped through UPS either cancel the order or go and pick it up from the near store. Moreover if you think the customer service agent will resolve your problem then it will be the joke of the ERA.

    We arranged for a pick up by calling UPS customer service. UPS guy/truck came with a shipping label and picked up the shipments - 2 boxes. One of them (box) is 100 lbs and another (box) is 80 lbs. Each of the box contained valuable antique pieces made up of wood and metal worth in thousand dollars. Ground shipping from Texas to California. Shipment was not received after 2-3 weeks. We called UPS customer service with the tracking number and they said, they are not able to find the shipment and, asked us to give some more time. We followed up number of times and they said they are not able find and shipment is lost. Can you believe two big boxes are lost (somebody within UPS must have stolen our valuable shipment)!!!

    UPS opened an investigation. We had to call number of times and they could NOT find the shipment after many months (6-8 months) of investigation. Finally, they asked to submit a claim form. We followed up with UPS claim (1 800 430 2055). Claims Rep says they will be able to process claim and pay us only $100!! Can you believe it!!! Big boxes containing valuable antique pieces each of which weighing 100 lbs and 80 lbs worth thousands dollars. I asked for supervisor. Supervisor (Debra) came online, she gave the same answer and mentioned that one of the reason why they are paying $100 is because no "estimated value" was entered on the shipping label. UPS guy who came to pick up the boxes gave us the label and asked us to enter only from and to address with names, phone# which we did.

    UPS lost our precious shipments and offer only $100. They cheated us. I asked the supervisor if I can talk to high up in the management chain. She said we need to call customer service. We already spend months talking to them and no use. Every time you call UPS customer service, new person picks up the phone. Looks like UPS is running a scam, losing shipments, cheating customers. I will never ever ship through UPS again. They lost our shipments, they don't have decency/courtesy to reimburse the value of the shipment!! They cheated us. PLEASE DO NOT SHIP WITH UPS ELSE YOU WILL SUFFER LIKE US IF THINGS GOES WRONG. BEWARE.

    In the past 8 months, UPS has lost 3 packages, I’ve had a $150 claim open for 8 months and they continue to find new ways to prevent settlement. When calling, I always get an overseas rep that is difficult to understand and CANNOT transfer me to a U.S. based rep. I have NEVER received a callback from any UPS manager when requested and more. I exclusively ship FedEx now and will avoid UPS at all costs.

    Boxes are always damaged. Last month I received a shipment of 22 boxes and 4 were empty. They were opened and delivered that way. The driver did not care about the shipment and wanted us to sign for the empty boxes.

    After ringing up my bill, I remembered my AARP card. It would have been a substantial discount on the packaging and boxing portion of the shipment. The store clerk/manager refused to undo/cancel and redo my purchase and airbill stating that the owner would not allow him to do so. I was quite angry because it would have been a big discount as the shipping was only 1/3 of the total payment which was about $180 total.

    I haven't had any issues with UPS. UPS has never delivered a package to me that was broken and if I am not home UPS leaves a note detailing where the package is located and if they are going to try and deliver the package again.

    I shipped homemade cookies to my son who was in the military. I paid extra so UPS would deliver them quickly and my son would have a taste of home while everything was fresh. UPS assured me that there was no problem delivering to a military base - that they did it all the time. My son was very excited to know cookies were on the way. They should have arrived the next day. Three weeks later, stale crumbs arrived. Every cookie was smashed. UPS told me they were not responsible. I believe that was a big fat lie.

    Another time, we were receiving a shipment from UPS - I will never use them to ship again, but other people still use them and I was waiting for a package. Their truck drove THROUGH our front yard, leaving deep ruts, and came within four inches of hitting our well, which would've caused around $15,000 in damage. We called to complain, and additionally, had the expense of fixing up our yard. UPS said we couldn't prove it was them. The tire tracks were not from a car, but from a large vehicle. We lived in an extremely remote wooded area, very far away from traffic. Our package was on the porch, proving they were there. Again, more lies. I cannot trust this company for anything.

Every time that I have something sent to me using UPS I have problems and end up having to go and get it on some access point.     Though a few yrs ago, this is my most recent experience with UPS. I used a packing & shipping store to send an item. They in turn used UPS. The item arrived with box caved in, obviously damaged, and contents totally broken. The store blamed it on UPS, who blamed the store. I was never able to collect a dime, though it was insured.

    I live in a rural area, with mailboxes along the road. Lately instead of the UPS driver coming up my driveway, he sits package at base of mailbox, no matter what the weather rain or shine. Behind my house on a lane is 6 other houses, with all 6 mailboxes at the same place where the county road splits 3 ways, not driveways, county road with a lot of traffic, next door to a school and fire hall, I observed the UPS driver delivering 4 packages the same time and set them at base of mailbox, with buses, and people passing continually, anyone could pick the packages up at any time.

    5 of the 6 house are 200 to 500 yards around a curve or over the hill with their mailbox out of everyone's view except mine if I happen to look out a back window, or a banker who is at work and his wife a nurse, both work so they are not home. The packages were delivered at 11 am, and Sat in the rain, the last one picked up at 6 pm. UPS should take time at least put them on a porch, I attached a sign at the base of my mailbox, ATTN: UPS, DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGE HERE, EITHER ON PORCH, OR I WILL PICK UP AT YOUR OFFICE.

    UPS is much better than their competitors and most of their regular delivery people can read the signs related to where to leave packages when nobody is home, unlike FedEx and USPS. Also, when they deliver boxes they usually try to hide them out of sight of potential package thieves. The text notifications are also very helpful.

    Not much difference between FedEx and UPS... ground ship is long but the cheapest. Most of our purchases are through Amazon Prime and two day free shipping. Amazon determines the carrier... We've had service from UPS, FedEx and USPS. As long as we receive a tracking number it matters little who delivers.

    I understand that people want their packages ASAP but then, there are people like me that would not mind. Bi-monthly deliveries with all my packages. Instead of having each package delivered separately. UPS should offer such option. The cost of storing the packages would be offset by reducing the delivery count.

    Always use UPS, always great service, weekends can be a bit slower in rural areas which has caused us frustration but checked and the timing was the same with Canada Post and FedEx. Why did UPS leave Brockville? I use the one in Ogdensburg a great deal with great success.

    First, they don't care about you or your shipment, or their reviews. $100 standard insurance? Sure, I'll take it. What, you want a claim? No can do amigo. 7 pictures of the package required before you sent it, inspection of the package at the receivers end, and even if they have that they'll still tell you that you didn't pack it correctly. What, you don't take 7 pictures of every package before you send them? That's not their problem. You didn't read the 20 page shipping terms of service before you dropped off your $100 package? Not their problem either. This should be a red flag that they spend so much effort in avoiding liability. They spend way more than $100 to deny a $100 claim.

    If you run a business that ships parcels use someone else. I sell and ship, package arrives crushed. So, of course, the customer sends it back for a refund. Refund given immediately. UPS then tries to contact the receiver to inspect the package, which is obviously not there anymore, and they either don't answer, or tell them they don't have it, or they're not going to be inconvenienced to wait for someone to inspect a box. I would too. Since they can't inspect the package, they deny the claim. Pictures of how it looked when it arrived are not enough. Not only did my customer not get their item, I've now lost $100 and my customer isn't happy.

    They treat a $100 claim like it's insurance fraud for a $500,000 house. And don't forget, it was their sloppiness or lack of care that broke it in the first place. Do they think people pack and ship packages that they don't care if they arrive in good condition or not? This is a company that doesn't stand behind their service or value the customer. It's obvious they don't trust anyone who uses their service, also known as THEIR CUSTOMERS. But they have so much business that they don't care about individuals. Costco, they are not. As a small business owner I'm too small for them to care. But it's my business at stake, so I have to choose someone I can rely on, and I would trust anyone first before UPS.

    I ordered international first class shipping (more money for no reason!!!) so I should have gotten it in max 5 business days. It’s now been 10. The site lied to me saying it attempted to deliver on the original date at 9:55 pm and I was awake and no one ever showed up knocking or ringing the doorbell and they said that since I missed it, it would come the next business day but here I am 5 days later with still nothing... AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY MORE NOW because it got imported into Canada... Lol. Why not explain that in your original shipping price? Sooo now IM STUCK PAYING $120 OVERALL IN DELIVERY FEES FOR A $60 HOODIE... I called 5-6 times and they told me the driver was gonna come that day. I called 3-4 different times on different days and they said that I could give the driver a check to pay for the rest (because obviously I’m just gonna freeze that check. ** you UPS). NEVER USE UPS!

    June 2018 driver ran over my Labrador in my driveway. Considerable ($2500) damage and vet bill, as well as ruining a trained hunting dog. Local UPS people outright lied to cya. Call to insurance company for claim resulted in being told I had no claim based on what UPS local office told them. Six months later, package came via UPS for me to pick up (they are not allowed on our property) on a Wednesday. “Not here”, they told me. Called sender who verified UPS had it. Got call Friday morning telling me a package was waiting for me.

    Apparently the package had been there since Wednesday per the UPS label. Since it included perishables, they are no longer usable. UPS response: “sorry”. This company makes billions of dollars every year and does so, in part, by cutting every corner, denying any responsibility for errors and hiring people in management who know that the bottom line is to make money despite poor service. It will continue until enough businesses and people stop using them. Don’t just vent on a website. Contact companies you do business with and tell them your experiences.

    I shipped a stove top which was properly packaged in a brand new rated box. It was delivered and then returned due to it appearing to be broke. UPS charged me another $80.00 to ship a broken product back to me. After refunding the purchaser $400,00 and then 130.00 for shipping I am out $500.00. Never again will I be using UPS. They are a disgrace. Their inspection said I did not use a proper box. Terrible service. Never Again!

    I live in Fremont, CA and they were suppose to deliver my package to Superior Court of California, Fremont in one day using UPS Ground - But they delivered it after two months and now I have double penalty from Superior Court of California - This is like I delivered a Package to China. I can say it's a WORST COMPANY AS COURIER and try some other reliable service.

    Completely lost here. UPS originally had my package January 4th 2019. And for some bonehead reason they "claimed" they handed it over to USPS in Hazelwood, MO on Jan 4th 2019 @7pm... As of this post it's been 5 days and no tracking updates... USPS says they have no idea my package ever existed basically 'cause they don't have it and don't know where it is... Yet UPS website says it was due Tuesday Jan 8th delivery... IDK what the heck to believe.

    I stayed home in silence to receive a package I had to sign for yesterday, and the driver never knocked or rang my bell, simply stuck a “we will reattempt” info notice on my door at 10:50 am. This morning I again checked tracking to be available for the delivery time frame. My package had been returned to sender - according the tracking info logged, I had refused the package at 8:00 pm last night! This all took place the day of the first delivery attempt. When I called UPS to express my frustration, the service agent hung up on me. This is not my first experience with UPS drivers falsifying tracking information. I suspect that UPS ignoring driver fraud to force consumers into paying a premium for “confirmed delivery window”.

    I have 2 packages that say delivered since Monday the 7th. They said they were delivered to my apartment office. I went to office to get and they said UPS hasn't been there all day. So I'm like ok I will wait until tomorrow because I know they are notorious for lying and saying a package was delivered when it wasn't. They usually show up the next day.

    We back Tuesday and still no package. I finally called Wednesday and UPS was no help at all. They basically told me I needed to call my shippers. Why would I need to call them when it says UPS DELIVERED it? What has me so upset is that 2 of the items I ordered are now out of stock. Here it is THURSDAY and I still have no packages. Called my apartments yesterday and they still said UPS had not been in all week. So you mean to tell me out of hundreds of apartments they did not have a single delivery for any of us? In December Amazon had to give me like 6-7 refunds due to UPS's being incompetent. I really wish I had a choice not to use them but many sites do not give you a shipping choice. I can't imagine being ok with just lying daily and not doing my job correctly.

    Hi name is Brenda and the UPS is the worst delivery service and they don’t have any sympathy but I am sorry. I had paid for a package 35 dollars to get to my cousin in Houston from Dallas and it was suppose to arrive Thursday. The guy assured me that it would. I check my tracking and see Friday delivery and call immediately and go to where I purchased it which was Murphy Texas. I was furious because it did not only get there on to time but I also requested a refund which the guy in the store told me I would.

    Come to find out a week later he called telling me that the UPS customer service denied it. They said that they don’t cover weather issues. I was battling and asking them to refund me. I spoke to a supervisor name Mabahaw and he was rude to me and forwarded my call back to one of the people in UPS. I will Never again ship with this company. They not only don’t refund you but their mail doesn’t come Till late. Never mail or ship anything through UPS. They are garbage!!! If I can give the 0 stars I would.

    THE ADDRESS WAS ENTERED INCORRECTLY BY THE STORE CLERK. The address the clerk entered was nonexistent but the driver said he delivered the package. How could he have delivered to an address when there is no house and only an open field? After that they said they were going to investigate it. They refused to give me the details on their investigation and that they would only give us $50 for our trouble. The package sent had $350 of merchandise in it. Even though they knew it was their mistake, they refused to reconcile the situation!!

    WORST SERVICE IN LIFE!! HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS I DO NOT KNOW!!! I am going to stop ordering from Amazon because of UPS, their drivers steal and are lazy. UPS sucks beyond control.     Waited 12 hours and driver shows up across the street at 7:26 at night, heard him bs-ing with the neighbor as I was whistling and yelling out my door. All of a sudden he leaves and I get a note that I wasn't home. This idiot went to the wrong house and a week before dropped a box off at my house that was supposed to be delivered 6 blocks away!!! Don't ship UPS, go with FedEx or the black hole of the US postal service.

    Customer service was not provide at all. Spoke to few reps who did updated the apartment number but they did not even try to resolve an issue. Supervisor was not reachable at all. In the end local facility lied about delivery and time sensitive package was delivered a day later. Honestly never saw such low level services. Management should work to improve customer service.

    The customer service for UPS is trash. Called them 3 times today with the promise of a "callback within an hour". What a joke. I never received a call back any of the time, hence why I called them multiple times in one day. Takes 2 business days to update shipment information?! I'm going to have to drive to pick up my package 40 minutes one way when there is a UPS store in the town I live in! Will never EVER use this "service" EVER again and will tell EVERYONE I possibly can that this company is absolute garbage.

    Hopefully one day UPS will be history, I've been without AC for a week because UPS failed to deliver my package that contains the part to fix my unit. So after countless phone calls of being put on hold and getting transferred here and there with no kind of real answer as to why my package isn't being delivered, I'm just beyond aggravated at this point. So much that I actually subdued to the fact that they aren't going to deliver my package and I will have to go pick it up myself which is about a 40 minute drive one way. I wish I could give a negative star rating. I could rant for another 2 pages but it isn't going to help. Please Amazon if you read this STOP USING UPS!!!

    My package has been "out for delivery" for over 48 hours. At the end of their delivery day they just update it saying the package is delayed, it's already 3 days late. There is no update, no ETA and not a care given. They can't tell me if my package is coming or if it ever will show up. I have to take off of work so that I can wait 14 hours a day for them to drop the ball again. When I talk to customer service they say it's my fault for not paying even more than the 25 dollars I paid for shipping. I can't believe how much of my time I have spent quietly watching TV just waiting to hear a knock or something. How long I've spent refreshing the tracking number to see if there are any updates but UPS does not care and I don't understand how they function as a business since my experience seems to be universal for every other person using UPS.

    I mailed a letter that contains a very large check using 3-day delivery, at the cost of $11. It was lost and I filed a claim. Six weeks later, the investigation determined that the claim deserved a refund of SIX DOLLARS!! So UPS shortchanged me of $5! No one worries about that $5. But, what's the reason for not refund me the FULL COST OF SHIPPING? UPS explained to me it's because they only charge the STORE $6. So they refund the store $6. But, HELLO. THE STORE CHARGED ME $11. So, ship with UPS AT YOUR OWN RISK. By comparison. US Postal Service lost a letter like this. It did not ONLY refund me the total cost of shipping, but also the cost to stop the check and mail the new check using overnight express.

    UPS is a disgrace. UPS have lost my package and trying to get any answers is impossible. They almost accuse the recipient of stealing the package. I have never in my life experienced such total lack of customer service. Please use FEDEX only.

    So every time I order something from Amazon and it ships with UPS they will not deliver on time and then I would have to wait another 3 to 4 days to get the notification that I have to go to the warehouse to pick it up...doing their job for them. If you can avoid them I would. Go with USPS or FedEx if you can. UPS is the worst delivery company ever.

    The last several orders I have placed that has been shipped UPS it’s never on time! The tracking is a joke because they don’t update anything regularly! I’m on my fourth day of “It’s out for delivery” then at 8pm they update it and says “in transit” again. At one time UPS was the best and fastest method of shipping, not so much anymore! In my opinion they are by far the worst for residential deliveries and feels to me they have made their focus on commercial deliveries and have made the small accounts not so important.

    I sent glass candle holders (value $25) to my daughter, carefully boxed and bubble wrapped. The items arrived shattered, lots of glass shards in the bubble wrap. My daughter threw them away, then let me know about the damage. After trying for two days to unsuccessfully use UPS 'easy' online claim service I called. I spoke with a very condescending agent who told me a UPS representative would have to go to my daughter's home to inspect the items and see the packaging. I explained to the agent the items and packaging had been discarded due to safety issues. He basically told me tough luck, so I asked to speak to a supervisor and was kept on hold for 10 minutes. I still have no idea if I am going to receive a refund or not. Since I sent the package through the local UPS Store, the refund, if I get one, will be sent to them. I am supposed to check with the store as to the status of my refund.

    I waited all day at home on three different dates to receive my delivery. I ordered a chair from Pier 1 Imports to be delivered to my address. Pier 1 sent the chair out on time with an tracking number. UPS Ground delivery driver came three different dates to deliver my chair (at least that is what the tracking number stated) but not to my address. On the third try the UPS Ground delivery driver dropped off my chair to another address I don't even know where. The tracking number stated it was delivered but I do not know where the chair was delivered to. Pier 1 Customer Service was great in helping me get a refund back plus shipping and surcharges charges.

    I know different people have different experiences with this company, but there is no denying the 1-star average review. This company is absolute garbage, and not like the useful garbage like recycling the worst kind you can think of. If you order from them you grandkids will probably receive the package on your behalf when you are dead and buried. Still waiting for my package till this day btw.

    Contacting UPS is the most difficult part of the process. I ordered a package on Amazon and they used UPS to ship said package. It was supposed to arrive today but could not be delivered due to a lack of a signature from me. I received an email telling me I needed to sign off on the package and through the email I was given a choice to sign it online, but it would not allow me to sign it even after I attempted multiple times. I was then notified that I couldn’t receive my package and that I could pick it up from a local UPS store. So I called said store and was not able to reach anyone. I’ve called at least 10 times and not once did anyone answer. I then decided to call UPS customer service number, and could not get through to anyone other than an automated voice. I’ve had an extremely difficult time and I still haven’t gotten through to anyone whatsoever. Never use UPS!

    I was moving cross country and decided to ship my boxes via UPS. It was a total of six moving boxes. ($700) Pick up worked out fine, I was waiting for longer than my pick up window was but that's ok as they called and told me about it. My account got charged, ok all good. Then the payment was pack on my account - I thought ok, it's the weekend, it's going to be fixed... But instead of simply charging the cost I owed - they did charge me double = an extra $700 which not only leaves my account overdrawn, they can't even do anything about it until it actually can be charged from my card - then I am supposedly able to give them the tracking number for the second charge and then they would be able to fix it. I can't believe how unprofessional this all is and what stress this adds to my move.

    I ordered a $2,000.00 piece of equipment for my business from a company in Mid FL. Once the package was scanned in to UPS’s system I had a delivery date of Thurs. Which would of been a total shipping time of 4 days. (No problem). As a business owner I scheduled work around that delivery date of Thurs. And had a full day of work lined up for Friday. Well I tracked the package on Wed. and saw it was in Raleigh NC (hmmm so it skipped 2 whole states and passed 2 major hubs). So I called UPS and asked if I would still have my package. They said, “Absolutely. It will be delivered by the end of the day Thurs.” As a person with common sense and know how long it a takes to move freight down the road I called my customers and rescheduled for Monday. Well Thursday came and went with no package (what a surprise).

    I called again. Was told it will be here by end of the day Friday. Meantime while tracking it online I see it moved from Raleigh to Greensboro NC, then back to Raleigh NC. So my $2,000 piece of equipment is just joyriding around in a big brown truck for absolutely no reason at all getting the crap beat out of it. I’m losing money in my business because I’m relying on a so called logistics specialists.

    On the phone Friday when I again called to see if I could get a guarantee for a Friday delivery and again I was told it will be delivered on Friday for sure. I can count on it. Well Friday again came and went with no package. After a few emails with the big company I was told it will be here on this Monday. Well that is tomorrow and as far the tracking says it’s still in Raleigh NC. So I’m guessing UPS just doesn’t want to do the job they were already paid to do and deliver my package to me.

    I wish there was a group of business owners that had some money to spend to hire so really good attorneys and sue the crap of UPS for us little guys who can’t fight UPS. Someone needs to hold UPS accountable for screwing over smaller companies and just the regular guy/girl trying to get their package delivered on time. I know nobody would do it but it sure would be nice to see UPS suffer like they make us suffer by holding our packages hostage. They basically have stolen our property by not delivering it when promised.

    I know it gets one star reviews all the time. The people please please please never use UPS. That place is horrible! They deliver two packages to my house and then the UPS driver came back and said he delivered something to our house that was not ours and I said, "No you didn't." He then demanded to see the packages that he delivered! When I refused and told him that I had already open the packages he demanded to see the packing material. I said I already threw it away and unfortunately the trash at gone out. I believe he stole the package and then blamed us for it. Now because of this when we order something and it goes UPS our driver marks it as the receiver requested to pick it up at the UPS location, and doesn't bother to deliver it!

    I have a package that was ordered in early December, scheduled to be delivered on 12/20/2018 only to get notification that the item would be delivered the next day. No biggie, so I wait for next day... Nothing. New email, "out for delivery" 12/22/2018. It is 1/5/19...still no package. Customer Service is ABSOLUTELY no help. Each day I get the same unhelpful information, it is "out for delivery, by end of day today." Which can be as late as 10 pm!?! I pray I NEVER have to use UPS ever again! I am so angry that I cannot express it with words without profanity.

    I was notified package was delivered. I immediately went to retrieve it and it wasn't there. I called customer service and the man took my contact information. I was called back minutes later. The woman said she spoke with the driver and the package was left on side porch. I said it was not. She then told me the driver would pick up item and deliver it again. What? Why are they lying about deliveries?

    I wish Amazon companies would stop using UPS or at least give consumers a choice. UPS is horrible, always late. Ordered a tire and a wheel from two companies 5 days ago... UPS guaranteed (lol) delivery today for the wheel, FedEx guaranteed delivery of the tires 7 days from time of purchase. Guess which one showed up today... Thanks FedEx. Early is great. UPS...delayed till next week. This is so typical, FedEx is on time or early, UPS is always late. People, complain to businesses that use UPS, there is a much better option out there!!!

    UPS is probably the worst delivery service. (I don't count USPS. No one expects anything out of them anyway.) They do not keep/give accurate tracking. They lie about attempting deliveries. Their customer service is useless. I've had the misfortune of more than one unpleasant experience with them. I only use them when there is no other option, and usually it does not go well; especially, when it is something important/time sensitive.

    A financial institution send me an IRA rollover check via UPS overnight. The email notification I got said that a signature was required for delivery. 2 days later I get an email that says my delivery has been rescheduled to the next day. The problem now is that I’m leaving town for 3 days. There was a person staying at my home so I told them it was coming, just sign for it when it arrives. Got home, no package and now it’s late Christmas Eve. The UPS delivery notification says that the driver released the package at my home without a signature. I called UPS and they said no signature was required and that they left the package at my gate, 600 feet from my house.

    On Dec 26 I was finally able to get ahold of the financial institution and they said they had been notified by UPS that an investigation was underway. They canceled the original check on Wednesday and issued a new one to be delivered by UPS on Friday. On Friday I get an email saying I had been rescheduled to Monday (New Year's Eve). At 3 pm Monday I get an email saying I’d been rescheduled to Wednesday the 2nd. I got home at 8:45pm. I met the UPS truck on my road. The delivery notice said that it had been delivered at 8:42. The gate was open and the lights were on. Once again they left it at the gate without a signature. It only took 16 days to get an overnight package via UPS. I forwarded the check via FedEx. They received it in less than 20 hours. Use FedEx for overnight service!!

    Online tracking indicated delivery to my home that day. Late in the day tracking indicated ‘severe weather delay’. Local weather was fine. With much difficulty I was able to speak with a customer set representative and their supervisor to learn that UPS knew early in the day that my package was not put on a truck for delivery and did not update the tracking information. I wanted at home all day! Customer service supervisor did not do anything to help with rescheduling delivery so that I would not have to take another day off to wait for this package. Picking the package up at a UPS distribution centre was offered instead of delivery even after I advised the supervisor that, due to a physical handicap, this was not an option for me.

    So ordered a package through Amazon a few weeks ago. Package set to be delivered Jan 2nd. Checked the tracking number on the evening of the second and it was being returned to sender, the reason was "refused delivery/did not want". I called UPS and they told me that I had refused delivery, I explained that I had not and a delivery had not came to my house. She apologized and told me they would be calling me within an hour to resolve the issue. 2 hours later I call back and get the same spiel. I called Amazon thinking they could help and had a 3 way call with UPS and Amazon and was told that the offices were now closed so someone would call in the morning, but that basically nothing could be done. Went to write a review and they dont have a place on UPS's site or FB so I sent a FB message telling them I was unhappy and with I had the option to leave a review.

    I was answered with the typical "My team is more than happy to help" and started all over again being told a second time I would receive a call before 10am to resolve the issue. This was all on the 2nd. By 10 am on the 3rd I had not received a call so I messaged to inform them and was told that if I didnt receive a call in the next hour to let them know. I informed them I would be at work and it would be hard to take a call after 10. At 1230 I get another message saying they reviewed the case notes and the package was not delivered because it was damaged.

    I asked why I was told by 3 different people that I had refused it and now they were saying it was damaged. The answer was that they had no more info and that I would not be receiving a call as there was no need for one. I asked for a number that I could call as I was very unhappy and was once again answered with "there is nothing else to discuss and I should take it up with the sender to reorder". I asked again for a number and have been ignored so I will be calling cooperate on this. Still no idea what actually happened as I was told 2 different stories and dont have the part I need for a very expensive fishing trip this weekend. I will never use UPS if any other choices are available.

    "UPS Incompetence". We have another failed delivery. I was supposed to receive a delivery shipped on 12/24 but the government close the offices. For that reason the office was close and the driver put on hold my package from that day to January 2nd because he wants to do without any reason. My office was open on 12/26,12/27,12/28,12/29,12/31 include 1/2/19 but the driver or the warehouse didn't want to deliver yet my package just because they did not want to. In the system didn't say any news. Just on hold to future date and when I call just they said they didn't know where is it and put in investigation but I need to wait 5 or 8 days more to conclude.

    The investigations start date yesterday 1/2/2019 because before that they didn't do anything about it. That package is for my work. In this case I can not work so I didn't generate money so I didn't have food for my children's or how can paid my rent if I didn't have that? How can to work? Just because the driver didn't want to deliver yet my package and UPS. NO KIDDING!!!

    We had three packages to be delivered on Friday 28th. On Dec 27 we had snow in the area. By Friday the roads were ok to clear, our mailman made it ok and we were out and about with no concerns. Friday we received notice that the packages were delayed due to bad weather(?). Expected to be delivered between 29th to 31st. Each day we checked tracking and they were working to get our packages back on track but had no dates. Monday when we still had no set delivery I called them. According to the tracking all packages were on the truck out for delivery on Fri. I was told that one hadn't been processed and the others were out for delivery but it wouldn't be Monday.

    I learned that the UPS in our area was off work Dec 29-Jan 2. WHAT!!! So our packages were just sitting at the distribution center and the updates they sent were bogus. They had no intentions of delivering them by the 1st. We had to leave town on Tuesday so had to make arrangement for our neighbors to get them and put them inside for us when they finally arrived on Wednesday. I am so down with this company. What sucks is that Amazon takes responsibility for UPS and their bad management and refunds money for late orders. So unfair that they pay for UPS's poor service.

    Set up online, they didn't pick up, but they sure charged the card. Call them twice to get picked up, they charged the card twice more. Make sure you get a confirmation number, as they "can't find you without that!" BS, they can find you with your credit card on file, that's how they found my shipment and charge card. All total, charged card 3 times for 1 pick up, they don't refund~ WTF! Took over a month to get the package delivered. I could have drove to this location and back for less money and a much less wait time. From here on out, it is FedEx unless I am forced into UPS! Not happy with the experience, will not recommend to anyone.

    I shipped a package on 12/20/18 to get to my boyfriend in Colorado. The guy at the UPS store itself put in the wrong address and scammed me on the price. I had to call customer service to correct the address and they STILL messed up the address. I even called twice to confirm the address and both people said it was correct. Today I got a message saying the address I put was incorrect like are you kidding me. I had to call and fix their mistake again because they left out the apartment number.

    Two hours after I called I got another notification saying the address was incorrect and so I had to call again and the man said that the woman I talked to never even filed a claim! I have shipped packages through USPS to this address and have never had a problem. I’m honestly about to give up and have them send the package back to me. Never shipping packages through UPS again.

    In another episode of "UPS Incompetence" we have another failed delivery. I was supposed to receive a delivery shipped next day air. It was shipped 12/31 so I did not expect it until Jan 2 which was fine. On Jan 2 I checked on the package. It was still in transit but expected to be delivered. Well, that didn't happen. I got an update saying the address was incorrect. After messing around with their automated system, I finally got to talk to someone - in the Philippines. Why can't I speak to someone in the United States? He said if I wanted to talk to someone in the US I would have to call again and maybe that would happen. So I did. I called again and got someone who spoke poor English. This person wouldn't even tell me where they were. I gave them the info. I had to verify the ship to address. She said that is what was on the shipping info. REALLY!! NO KIDDING!!!

    I get deliveries there on a regular basis. For some reason, the driver today either: 1. Can't read; or 2: Is just too damn lazy to do the job!! I'm guessing the second option is correct. I told the customer service person I wanted to speak to a supervisor. After a couple minutes, I ended up talking to another person who couldn't speak English very well. Actually, this person spoke worse than the first person!! I had to verify the address AGAIN!! Is this person too incompetent to see that was already done? I told this individual (SUPPOSEDLY a Supervisor) that I want the package delivered today.

    He said he would see what could be done. It might be today or tomorrow. Next Day Air service was paid for. I want the service paid for!!! I told him I want to speak to a local supervisor. He said he passed the info on and I should hear from them in an hour. I'm betting it won't happen. UPS is becoming one of the most incompetent service companies out there. They'll never be as bad as the USPS, but they are making the attempt!!

    Paid for Second Day Air. Today is day 6. This is the third time tracking has showed "out for delivery". They sent me an email where I could follow the package via GPS. Package was "almost there" and I could see it was a couple of streets away. In the past 4 hours it has passed my street 3 times and is now miles away, headed in the wrong direction. I called 2 hours ago and was promised a supervisor would be calling me back within an hour. So far no call. These people know they can continue to do this because there is no recourse.

    My package sat at a UPS facility 25 miles from my house for 3 days just so it would arrive on the delivery date rather than before. I could have gone to pick it up but there is no specification on which facility it's at. UPS is a joke.

    We have a number of these occasions over the holidays, where UPS will say that they tried to deliver a package but that nobody was present - and so they will try again. The truth is, somebody was home all day, no signature is required for the packages, even after saying about one of the deliveries that nobody was available to receive the package - the next day the male driver called saying he "couldn't find the house." Yet he tried to deliver it the day before? These people are so dishonest. The most recent "attempt" at delivery was 12/31, tracking number **. My parents were eating dinner right by the door when the supposed UPS person attempted delivery.

    UPS drivers are not monitored like USPS or FedEx. They may have GPS tracking devices that show when they place something into delivery attempt but these things are rarely looked at. It is starting to become common for a UPS driver to be running late on deliveries and just drive by a facility and place a package as delivery attempt without even stopping. It is also common for them to not even be on the same street. You can usually not talk to anyone to help because most facilities close while the drivers are still in route.

    Therefore when the facility closes and you have not received your package yet, there is a good chance you will not get it that day. There is good reason that they have such a poor rating and its astonishing that they are still in business. It does not matter if you are sitting on your porch when they claim delivery attempt. It's such a common complain now that they just say sorry and that you will receive package the next day. They have a whole slew of other excuses they will pull out if you press the issue like, wrong address, or street blocked, or something of this nature. My advice for anyone reading this, do not use UPS. Enough people doing this will force better service.

    WOW what nightmare this week has been dealing with United Parcel Service, the service part is a joke. Package was scheduled to be delivered on Friday the 28th by end of day. According to UPS tracking website my package was picked up at 10:30 Friday morning, plenty of time to deliver right, wrong, never received it. I checked the website and it says an Emergency occurred or bad weather, well it’s less than 20 miles away and it’s clear and sunny so no weather issues, figured I would get an update on Saturday.

    By 2:00 no update, so I call to try and get an update, after speaking to two different people I finally got to speak to a supervisor who still could not give me an update but assured me somebody would call me back in the next hour, no call ever came. So I figured on Monday there would be an update but no still lame excuse. What does this company think everybody is dumb or something? Finally got through to an actual person online today Monday only to be informed they have no idea when my package will be delivered, so I asked multiple times how to lodge a complaint to corporate headquarters only to be told that I have to file my complaint with the office who messed up the delivery.

    Now why do I think corporate UPS will never hear my complaint, real stupid ineffective process. However person online assured me it will happen and corporate will hear my complaint. Just received a call from a person from UPS who said they will deliver my package today, didn’t even bother to let them know there are more than one and the reason I needed that package was for the company that already left, you can bet I will not use UPS to send them there gift in question.

    Anyway I asked the person that is delivering my package how do I file a complaint with corporate and was told that all complaint would just come back to her, corporate would never receive my complaint, imagine that, obviously corporate UPS has their head in the sand and thinks nobody ever has issues or they know they are messed up and is tired of receiving complaints. Only way to make myself be heard is to start asking companies I buy from if they use UPS for delivery, if they do and don’t have an alternative then take my business elsewhere. This is the fourth issue I’ve had with them and none have been resolved successfully.

    Ordered 3 things off Amazon, coming from same location, 1 through USPS and 2 through UPS. Received shipment through USPS 4 days after order. Still waiting on UPS...week and half later. So it is Monday, package arrived at distribution center (with in 1 mile of my house) on Saturday morning...they are closed Saturday, Sunday, and since Monday and Tuesday is new years eve and new years I have to wait till Wednesday before I can pick it up/have it delivered...so for 4 days it will sit there, less than a mile away from me and I can't do nothing. I see FedEx is delivering. The post office is delivering. How is UPS still in business considering it is the slowest shipping business out there. Never using them again.

    Don't ever order anything 3-Day Select from UPS. They don't even initiate the shipment until 3 days later so what's the point of paying extra for a guaranteed shipping date that they never meet? I ordered a NYE dress a week before the holiday, paid extra for 3-Day Select shipping as it was guaranteed to be here by Friday (the 28th). Shipped out on the day it was supposed to arrive and now it won't arrive until after the holiday. What a complete waste of money, time and empty promises. Thanks for nothing, UPS.

    Back in mid-November, I was surprised to see when I tracked my shipment of two bottles of engine cleaners that I was returning to the seller for refund was marked as damaged and discarded by UPS. I was later informed when I called their customer service number that the bottles were open and there was insufficient packaging so they had to throw it away. Therefore, since it was my fault I would not qualify for a claim.

    Well, first thing is the bottles were new and still sealed with a plastic cap that you have to pull to tear off the seal. Second, they were wrap with several layers of packing paper. This was not my first shipment, as I have sold several items on eBay before. The only way that the bottle(s) was/were leaking would be that package was damaged through their handling.

    To add insult to injury, contacting UPS customer service is a joke. I was transferred seven times with each representative stating that it was not their department that handle claims. Also, when they put me on hold during one of the call transfers, naturally the call ended for no reason and I had to start all over again. Be forewarned, Use FedEx, DHL, or USPS at least when considering shipping. Use UPS as a last alternative.

    Not that anyone at UPS cares or even gives a ** but one of the points in the tracking service is knowing when your item is going to arrive so that it doesn't sit on your porch all day just begging for someone to steal it! Checked on my tracking this morning and it said it arrived at the UPS in my area and was out for delivery. Come 8pm they changed it and now it says it arrived in the late pm. I put my affairs on hold all day as to not have my package sitting outside just to have them LIE and change the time! Such BS!!! At least be truthful and just state that it couldnt be delivered, that I can respect! But to LIE about it as if the other posting of it having arrived was never there is ridiculous and dishonest. I have no respect for a company that will LIE just to save face.

    UPS is the best shipping option in the industry. My recent experiences with FEDEX prove this. If you have a choice, you should choose UPS. Our company (LuLaRoe) used to use UPS and recently switched to FedEx. Oh how I wish they would switch back to UPS. Using UPS for over a year, they NEVER lost a package and they delivered EVERY package on time or early. In just a few months with FedEx, they have already lost several of our packages and have yet to deliver a single package on time, let alone early. If you have a choice, choose UPS.

    I never want another package from them again. They came and left before I could get to the door then didn't leave a piece of paper. I supposedly need to change location and won't hold it long enough for me to get back from vacation. Then when I log into site I can't leave a review and came here to see they have a one star rating.     They never deliver at my house and my address supposedly doesn't exist. Does a GPS not exist or something. They don't care about delivering a package to their customers. While every other delivery company leave my packages at the door. When I wanted to send a package, a box with stuffed animals, UPS wanted to charge me $70 and in other places, it cost $11 to send.

    After looking at the reviews on here I was quite dubious about receiving my package on time. Especially on a busy holiday. But sure enough it was delivered on the guaranteed delivery date and early. Mind you my shipping was free ground.     I spent around $150 so that my one pound product would arrive quicker. It arrived even later than the regular post service, which was a tenth of the express delivery cost. So I called UPS and they said our address was wrong, but we checked the system and all of our information such as our phone number and address were all there and all correct, and if they couldn’t find our address, they could’ve just contacted us. After we have them our address again, it took another week inside of our city and we still haven’t gotten the package yet. We called them another 3 times, every customer service told us different delivery dates, one of them even just hung up if us. I will never use UPS again. Ever.

    First package was ordered by Kohl's December 2018, and was delivered by UPS on day it said it was, but to wrong address and wrong city. I got the email saying my package delivered to my door...wrong. I call them, they accidentally tell me address it went to. And they would launch an investigation. Never heard back from them and btw I went and got my package. 2nd time. Guaranteed delivery by Dec. 27, 2018 from Best Buy and still waiting because of mechanical failure 1 minute after UPS picked up order, and now I am not getting until January 3. Way after grandbabies bday. I hate UPS. They are fraudulent, and their customer service is in the Philippines, not even here in the USA.

    I mailed a Christmas package on the 17th to be delivered on the 21st of December. I was supposed to have a tracking number. When the Christmas package wasn't received by the 22nd of December I called UPS and started an investigation. Nobody ever contacted me. I was told my package was never sent. So I called The Mail Room, a business where all they do is mail packages. The Mail Room said they had proof UPS had my package. Now UPS says The Mail Room decided to mail my package. I guess it's supposed to arrive January the 4. Really so where was my package from December 17 to the 28??? So much for the tracking number. Really I don't know if I will even get my package. How do I know if they have it? The Mail Room says they are lying. Great. Should I just wait and see or tell my friends they will finally get their Christmas presents. Strange. I can't believe I paid them 50.00 dollars to mess up my Christmas. Never again.

    I haven't had much experience with UPS until recently. I have had 4 packages delivered by them, and had to fight with customer service to get each and every one. First, every single package arrived later than promised. Then, the driver kept wanting to take my packages to an "access point" several miles from my house instead of leaving it with the apartment complex office like every other carrier does if I am not home. I specified multiple times over the phone and online that I did not want my packages taken to this "access point" (which by the way is a gas station) but that didn't matter.

    Every customer service rep is rude and most barely speak English. I was even hung up on twice because I demanded my packages be redelivered instead of having to go to that stupid access point. If I wanted to go pick up my purchases, I would drive to the store, not pay someone to take them somewhere else for me to pick up. Ugh. So over UPS and I will never purchase from anyone who uses them to ship again.

    Ordered two different items, one from TX the other from CA. Both arrived to their local distribution warehouse in reasonable time. The one from TX has been sitting in Shrewsbury, MA on 12/24/18 at 7:30am. It's now 12/27/18 at 2pm and it's still in Shrewsbury, MA. When I call they said "that's the date we will deliver it" (12/28/18), 3 whole days after it arrived to ship.

    The second was a shipment from CA. It arrived in Chelmsford, MA on 12/27/18 at 11am. This warehouse is the warehouse that all packages in my area come from. According to the claim rep it will not be delivered until 1/2/19. Why is it going to sit in a warehouse for 6 days. They can deliver it for the next 3 days. The excuse I got was "it's in a truck with 5000 packages." Ok but if it shows it arrived in that location means it's been scanned in so it's out of the truck and it's ready to be shipped. I was told I could not even pick it up until 1/2/19. Chelmsford is 1/2 hr from me. Poorest and most unreasonable shipping company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is horrible. They read from a sheet.

    I know the holidays can make life tough for UPS. But if they can't handle it then don't take the business! People like myself still have a business to run. I need deliveries and I need them on time. If something happens I need them redelivered. But taking my delivery to a UPS store so I have to run around to pick up my package that you are paid to deliver is ridiculous. Especially with only one missed attempt. Furthermore when I call customer service I shouldn't have to argue to speak with a supervisor and hung up on when I ask them for an identification number to add the service rep to my complaint. I will never use UPS again. Ever!

    UPS is the worst. In 20 years I have never received a package from UPS that wasn't ** up. Always delays. Never on time. They seem to always require a signature, but come at hours when no one is home. They lie about making deliveries. Since UPS can't bring a package to a doorstep properly, I scheduled a pickup at an access point. Now I get a message that says they can't bring it to the access point. So now what? Are they just going to keep the ** package for eternity? Their website tracking is inaccurate, and non-descriptive. They completely leave the customer out in the dark. To hell with UPS. I will never use them for shipping anything

    I ordered a package on the 19th which was shipped on the next day from Target. The item was coming from only 17 miles away from my home. I was getting 2 day shipping. But when I tracked the package they had it in the same location for 4 days. That is the final location until delivery maybe 20 minutes away from me. But now it says I won't get it until the 27th of December. So it will take UPS a entire week to deliver a package from Target which is only 17 miles away. How pathetic is that. Now my family member is not getting his gift on time for Christmas.

    I ordered a watch for Christmas! I paid 3 day shipping on the 17th! My watch was pushed off until the 24th. I tried to be understanding, but with a company that is so underhanded you CANNOT be understanding, you must watch them through every step otherwise you WILL not get what you want and when. I called at 5pm asking about my package and the customer service rep told me that due to the Christmas conditions deliveries would be happening later than usual. Apparently, someone in the customer service center is LYING then because at 10pm my package was set to be delivered the DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. I called again at 10pm and spoke to someone else. They then told me that my package had NEVER LEFT THE FACILITY despite my app tracking the package saying it was out for delivery and the vendor sending me frequent updates on the status of tracking saying it was due to be delivered as well.

    In addition, I received an update around 10 prompting me to call saying my package would be delivered the day after Christmas. I then question the new representative of how this could be as he was claiming there was no in the facility, and my package was never shipped. He was implying that the system changed the status of my package at 10pm at night even though he insisted the facility closed at 6pm. Then I must wonder, why did it ever say "out for delivery" if it never left the facility? I am completely disgusted to be paying for 3 day shipping and lied to. If it never was shipped I could have picked it up from the facility, if it was out for delivery it should have been delivered! Not 2 hours before Christmas day! I will NEVER ship with this company again! My Christmas is ruined! Goodbye UPS and I will not be surprised when you shut down! I am blocking them from delivering to my address.

    I ordered some items from American Eagle for my son as a Christmas present. I wanted to get them here before Christmas so I chose to upgrade my shipping to deliver to an access point. (Advised by one of their customer service representatives). Now I am being told that it’s still “in transit” and will not deliver until Wednesday?     Paid $45.44 guaranteed 3 day ship for a special handmade gift for my granddaughter who lost my grandson, her brother in car accident!!! She knew she was getting a gift from heaven from her brother and package has sitting in Philadelphia for 4 days now, I live in New Jersey! They’re saying it won’t be here until Thursday by end of day! Why did I pay $45.00 guaranteed to break this little girl's heart!!! You try to explain why her brother in heaven are late when she’s missing him like crazy and she now thinks he doesn’t care because of UPS and their lack of care!!!

    I’m so broken hearted because I had a choice of using FedEx and shipper said she used UPS because it was closer and GUARANTEED!!!! SHAME ON YOU UPS AND YOUR LIES AND BROKEN PROMISES! Thank God I wasn’t waiting for a kidney or liver! Called on phone, on hold 34 minutes to hear “we’re overwhelmed with delivering!!"     I was waiting for the 2nd attempt of my package today. Since it was guaranteed by 8 pm, I decided to wait outside for the driver at 7:30 pm... 8:05 I checked online. Said delivery attempted at 7:46. No ** way as I was standing there the entire time. Driver didn't attempt to deliver. Just marked as attempted and went home. Didn't even come within 5 blocks... I've had this happen before with them. Terrible business practice. Now I need to sort out the 3rd delivery attempt before they return it the day before Christmas.

    This is my 4th horrible experience with this company. First time, I was doing a remodel on my kitchen and ordered a custom made oven out of California. The delivery person dropped my oven in my driveway leaving a ton of broken glass in my driveway. He put the broken oven and box back in his truck and left stating it had been delivered. Luckily I have surveillance cameras and was able to capture the entire incident on camera. I contacted UPS and informed them of what happened, they tried to make excuses but couldn’t deny what was on camera.

    Long story short, the company resent another oven only to wait 5 more days tracking the package when a message appeared stating the package was damaged and couldn’t be delivered. At that point I went with another company with a different carrier. Next, I ordered a Apple Watch on Dec 2, 2017 from Costco with a delivery day of Dec 7, 2017. I kept checking the website which stated it was in transit. It's now Dec 12, 2017. I called UPS to see what the problem was and was placed on hold and transferred numerous times and no could explain where my package was. Was told to give it a few more days. Dec 19, 2017 still no package and no new updates.

    At this point I called Costco, cancelled the entire thing and went to Apple Store to purchase it as it was a Christmas present for my husband and couldn’t wait any longer on these idiots. Next, I ordered a package from Fingerhut as a Christmas present this year. Dec 12, 2018 was picked up on the 17th and a delivery date of Dec 22, 2018. I waited all day. The tracking information stated all the way until midnight that it was out for delivery. It never came. This morning when checking the tracking it now states, "No new information on this package. Will update when new information is available." I promise you when ordering anything else online if that company uses UPS THEY Will NOT Be GETTING MY BUSINESS!!!!

I waited for my package all day long, checking the updates for my deliver until 9:30 pm and still said: "In transit" when I know the drivers stop delivering by 9 o'clock.     I ordered a gift from a company on 12/19, with a delivery date of 12/22. Since I live in New York City and this is a larger item, I regrettably did not do in-store pick up. On 12/22 I sat in my home all day whilst tracking claimed my package would arrive by "end of day." I called UPS customer service as it got dark out, and was again assured the package would arrive that evening. By 9pm, with a wasted day and no package, I reached out to UPS Help on Twitter, and was eventually told the package wasn't even out for delivery and it would be another few days, but they could not get more specific.

    I then spent an hour on hold with UPS, only to give up, hang up, and call back to wait on hold for another 20 minutes. I finally got to speak to another customer service representative, who told me it would not arrive until 12/27. This is absolutely absurd. I've never had a fantastic experience with UPS but they're really failing in a spectacular way right now. Ultimately, I had to call the company that did its job and shipped on time, find out what my options are, re-purchase the item this time with in-store pick-up, and will have to refuse UPS delivery whenever they finally get around to delivering the package. Go with FedEx if you have a choice. I ordered something on 12/20 and it arrived by mid-afternoon 12/21 via FedEx. Never again, UPS. They do not even deserve to exist as a company.

    On 12/20/2018 I called a company at 10:00 am to place an order of something I needed by Sunday 12/23/2018 and I asked if I had it shipped overnight UPS would I receive it Friday 12/21/2018. They informed me yes it would ship by 12:00 noon 12/20/2018. So I placed the order and paid the high price of overnight shipping with UPS. On Friday 12/21/2018 I watched my tracking sent by the seller. They had my package scanned arriving in Atlanta at 12/21/2018 at 7:48 am shipped from Atlanta to my local office at 12/21/2018 10:20 am arriving at my local office at 11:50 am. 5 1/2 hours later I received a email from UPS saying the flight was late? How could it be on a plane? It was already at my local office?

    Saturday morning I get a email from UPS saying my package I needed by Sunday was rescheduled for delivery to Monday 12/24/2018 by 8:00 pm. I called UPS. They were delivering all international and domestic overnight scheduled for delivery 12/22/2018 on that date. Why not my package. I went to my local UPS office and my package was actually there on a truck to go out on Monday 12/24/2018. I asked if I could get the package? I was informed the truck was ready to go out Monday and I couldn’t get the package.

    I explained I needed the package by Sunday 12/23/2018 that the package and all the money spent on it does me no good on Monday night. All UPS could say, "I’d sorry, once your package is delivered on Monday night." I could call UPS and request a shipping refund which would take 4 to 6 weeks. What Sorry service. 30 feet from the package and I could not get it because they needed to deliver it on Monday after failing to deliver it on the scheduled day of 12/21/2018 or delivering it on 12/22/2018. No, it did not require a signature. Just terrible! And Merry Christmas to them!

    I had my friend ship a package, it was suppose to be here Wednesday, it's now Saturday. My package was on the truck Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and they kept taking my package back to the facility at 6pm because of 'operating conditions'. It's Florida, y'all are use to the rain.     I paid $40 dollars to have my package 2nd-day air shipped. The company did their part and shipped the package in time via UPS. UPS tracking said my package would be delivered today on December 21st by the end of the day. Today the 21st I checked for updates and saw it was in fact checked in about an hour and twenty minutes from me on its away. Night time has came around and it was 8:50 at night. I tried to check again and it said it was just departure scanned from the location one hour and twenty minutes from my house at 8:40 at night.

    It took me 50 minutes to actually get to talk to a real person at UPS over the phone. She told me that even though it was supposed to be here today and has been 1 hour and 20 minutes from my house the whole time today, that now it is not scheduled to be here until Monday the 24th and there is no reason for it and there is nothing they can do about it. Besides the horrible customer servicing taking 50 minutes to figure that out, besides the fact that they have ruined my chance at giving this present to the attended recipient before Christmas, I paid $40 to have it arrive today which is more than the entire present cost. I then sat for 15 minutes on hold with them waiting to talk to someone who I was transferred to about getting a refund for that wasted shipping fee.

    Finally when the lady came on the line she said they do not handle refunds and I would have to have the company I purchased it from submit a form to UPS to get me a refund. I then asked for a manager, only to be told it would be over an 1 hour wait time to talk to one. It is now almost 10:00pm and I have no Christmas present for my friend, have sat on the phone with UPS for 1 hour and 10 minutes, paid $40 for rush shipping, and have come to absolutely no conclusions and no accountability for that. Someone in the BBB should really look into this company better and or I sure hope the ones invested in it start paying attention and giving a damn.

    I have been waiting on my package for over 3 weeks now. I have been on the phone with representatives since the 18th and each one of them has said my package will be redelivered the next day and there were no package. I had to call again and stayed on hold for 45 mins. All my calls are recorded on my end and I am pursuing to look into further investigation... Either the “deliverer” is a COMPLETE THIEF. THEY HAVE NOT CAME TO MY HOUSE. I'VE BEEN WAITING. LOOKING OUTSIDE EVERY CHANCE I GET.

    This is the most horrible service. I will never use UPS again as long as I live. If I cannot get another company to deliver to me I will not order anything offline again if it involves UPS. I will call everyday multiple times until I get my package delivered and will leave reviews everytime I call. Next time I’m putting names on this website. I hope you all have the most horrible holidays and your packages get LOST (stolen) because that’s what happened to me. Maybe the driver was a bum and stole packages for the family they don’t have. BURN IN HELL UPS. Hope you go bankrupt. :) You don’t get no stars from me. Lucky I had to put one in order to post this.

    Ordered from Best Buy overnight shipping (UPS Next Day Air Saver) on DEC 19. Delivery was scheduled for the 20th. According to Best Buy UPS did not make their scheduled pick up on the 19th, but I can’t confirm that so I’ll leave it alone. Package ships in the AM on DEC 20. DEC 21 at 8 AM I show that the package has arrived in DFW heading to Houston. ETA DEC 21. Then at 1020 AM a delivery exception happens. Truck did not make it to DFW in time. At this point I still totally understand; it’s the Holidays. Delays happen. I start to call UPS support to ask if I can get the package delivered to the main office at my apartments so my wife and I can travel for Christmas. UPS CSR tells me that actually the package is already in Houston and is in the dispatch center closest to me! Says it will deliver today.

    So now the tracking is a literal mess. They end up readjusting the tracking because at one point today they had a package scan in DFW and Houston within minutes of each other. These cities are 4 hours away. So... I wait around. Tracking on the web shows just an arrival scan at the local dispatch office. But ETA still shows today by end of day. At this point I just want to know if the package is coming or not so we can travel. And by the way, the UPS app says Out For Delivery... So nothing matches at this point.

    I call UPS support once more to try and find out what is going on as it’s nearing 6 PM local time. UPS CSR tells me since their truck was late arriving in DFW, the package arrived too late at the dispatch center today to be put on a truck and it WILL NOT deliver today. Mind you, EVERYTHING else says ETA today by end of day and varies from saying arrived at local dispatch to out for delivery.

    At this point I ask the UPS CSR, "Can we just have the delivery routed to the main office of my apt because I really need to be going now and then now, the contents of the package are valuable. And I’ll be gone for several days." UPS tells me, "Nope! Must be done with the shipper." Best Buy! I ask, "Can I just come pick it up because my package is evidently 10 minutes away at a distribution center." But I am told no. Even though I paid for Next Day Air Shipping... I get to wait until the next business day... Monday! So I call Best Buy who tell me according to their records... The package is set to deliver TODAY.

    At this point to say I’m exhausted with UPS and their CSRs is a massive understatement. They only seem to have the same tracking info that’s on the website and can literally do NOTHING for you other than repeat what’s on the website. Moving forward, if UPS is who a shipper is using, I’ll ask for someone else. We already use FedEx at my job and know why? Because they rarely miss their promised delivery dates and when you call their CSRs, they can give you information. They can make things happen. UPS customer support really doesn’t do anything except place you on hold with music for a half hour and repeat over and over the same info on their website and do nothing to help you get the status of your package. If you really don’t care about it being on-time or having accurate tracking then maybe UPS is a good choice for you.

    As of last night my package was in state and in route to me to be delivered today. Now somehow my package is not coming for another week from another state! UPS Customer service can’t explain to me where my package went that was less than an hour from my house in NJ and is now coming from Ohio and taking another week. They said and I quote "they decided that it would be redelivered this way" what??? It was never delivered. Sooo sometime between the two towns they would have to drive to deliver my package which was on route as of 2 am for delivery today "it was decided" that it would go to Ohio and get redelivered after Christmas on the 26th... Yes mamma that's what happened omg!!! Do they even hear what they are saying. Try to get a straight answer. All they do is repeat the same illogical nonsense and put you on hold for 30 min at a pop. I'm seething with the incompetence.

    Just got a notice on our door that, even though there were 3 of us at home waiting on a package for Christmas and sitting where we could hear either a ring or a knock, somehow ups is “sorry they missed us”. I went outside 30 minutes after they supposedly tried it get us and saw the notice stuck to the door and then spent the next 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get in touch with an actual person at UPS and then the next 30 minutes trying to talk to them.

    Apparently the only options when the driver has decided that your bell isn’t worth ringing is to wait on the untrustworthy drivers for another business day (this doesn’t work when you have taken a day off of work specifically to get your package) or have it left at a depot in the middle of nowhere and go in the next business day to pick it up. But you can’t pick it up at a normal hour- only between 7 and 9am on a weekday, which is not easy with small children in tow. I have had such wonderful experiences with FedEx and Canada Post that this is horribly frustrating and unacceptable. I will never use UPS again and will be avoiding buying online from any company that ships with them in the future, and will be advising my company and all of my associates to do the same.

    I was expecting a package that was supposed to be on the 18th. Now, on the 20th, I waited the whole day. I checked at 7pm, front door, there was nothing. My upstairs lights was on, and my two dogs barks at doorbell rings. At 8pm, I checked the status and saw something was wrong. I checked the door outside and saw they left a notice. My lights were on, they knew I was home. There was no doorbell ring because I did not hear any, and my dogs would bark at the doorbell rings. I wish I had cameras just to prove it. Ironically, the package I was waiting for was a 4 camera piece from Costco.

    Next Day Air = 3 day delivery. I purchased a Christmas gift for my niece and selected UPS next day air on the 18th for delivery on the 19th, it is now 12-20 11:00 PM, and still no package. After sitting on hold for 40 minutes waiting to speak with a representative I'm told that I'll most likely receive the package tomorrow. I'm beyond frustrated with the horrible overnight service provided by UPS.

    I work for a book distributor. We rent textbooks to colleges and high schools so we depend on our products being picked up and delivered on time. Since we reuse rental merchandise it is very important that we be able to give accurate tracking information to our clients. Today alone UPS missed 3 pickups and cost us tens of thousands of dollars. We may have to wait nearly a month for our merchandise to be picked up as schools are closing for Christmas and New Year. Customer service and dispatchers really don't care and can't provide basic information as to why service contracts are not honored. The excuse I got today was "we don't go there every day." So what? We arranged a pickup and therefore you knew we wanted this done on a particular day at a particular time and even if you can't get there on the day, contact the people paying for the service so they know. UPS is absolute fraud.

    UPS cannot give accurate tracking info to save their life. Constantly says will be delivered today for over a week and a half, on 3 separate occasions. I wouldn't trust them with a postcard, let alone anything of value. Fedex can tell me where all 15 packages I send each week are at any given moment. UPS can't tell me where ANYTHING is within 1000 miles, nor when it will arrive. Half my items show up so beat up it looks like Ace Ventura dropped them off. What a garbage company. How can any company be worse than USPS??

    I ordered a Christmas gift on 12/6. It arrived at my local UPS facility on 12/10. I kept checking the status and it continuously said "in transit". On 12/19 I had not yet received the package, which still states as "in transit". So I finally called UPS to be placed on hold for over 15 min only to find out my Christmas gift was to be delivered on 12/12 and "we don't why it hasn't, let me connect you to the investigations dept" meanwhile I'm on hold for another 10 min! This is absolutely ridiculous! Then I get told that my package is lost! Mind you this 6 days before Christmas! I personally would never chose UPS to ship anything.

    A package was sent expedited (2 day delivery) from Toronto to Sudbury on Dec. 13th. It arrived in Sudbury on Dec.14th. The message updated on the online shipment tracking as of Dec. 14th says "Due to operating conditions your package may be delayed and will be rescheduled". The same note appears for Dec. 16th. It is now Dec.19th and it still says the same thing so I called them. I mentioned that an expedited service was paid for and the weather has been very nice here so I don’t understand what can be causing the delay. Could I come pick the package up at the UPS location since they cannot deliver the package. They said, "No. Sorry we can’t do that" since there wasn’t an initial attempt at delivering to the address but they will send a message to the facility. At this point I’m thinking they lost the package.

    I paid for 2nd day air on the 17th, package was shipped by vendor, UPS picked it up on 12/17 but it is still in Greensboro, NC as on Dec19th at 5:47 am. On the 18th UPS puts on the tracking details that there is a Severe Weather Delay that is keeping my package from moving. It's only going 800 miles from Asheville NC to Reading PA and the weather was cloudless, windless, snowless, rainless, there was literally no weather event happening ANYWHERE on the East Coast. Clearly UPS lies about weather delays in order to NOT reimburse customers when they (UPS) miss guaranteed delivery dates. UPS does not value its customers, UPS conspires to lie to customers and you should not give them any more of your money.

    UPS lost a sweater I ordered for my wife after arriving at their facility. They refuse to take any responsibility for what they did, instead passing the blame onto the supplier, despite the fact that UPS had it in their possession. That failure to accept accountability is infuriating.

    I've been relying on U.P.S. for years. As a result they're sometimes being the only shipping option offered through various vendors and merchants and I can say with confidence that U.P.S. is extremely consistent in their delivery process. They suck 97% of the time. They hold packages until the last date shown on delivery time scale. Years ago without easy tracking methods at hand through the internet, we couldn't determine just were a package was sitting waiting to be brought to your home or office. Now one can see that the package can be sitting for days in your very city at their shipping station before they will deliver it. It may have only taken two or three days to get there from across county, but if there is still a week left on the shipping timeline you most often won't receive it until that last date.

    Their website is purposely vague and cryptic as to trying to enlist help, or even make complaints. Their consumer complaints phone line operators are mostly polite, but are extremely adept at transferring your call to the moon and back with little to none resolution. Oh, and they will hang up on you at the slightest provocation. WARNING: Show no signs of irritation at their tactics else you will be hung up on. Their delivery people are no better than 19th century dock loaders who will toss packages in the snow, leave them in questionably safe surroundings and seldom if ever actually bring the package up to the office or floor you are on. Oh, and forget about them knocking or ringing doorbells - you pay extra for that service.

    God forbid the congress is ever successful at breaking down the U.S. Postal Service. As U.P.S. is probably the next in line to win that government contract, and they won't saddle U.P.S. with the 75 year pension prepayment requirement (known as the poison pill technique in business circles). Yep, the Postal service was actually in the black until the end of 2006 when the outgoing congress saddled them with it and it was quickly ratified and signed by the president. After that when the post office was having an incredibly difficult time meeting this requirement, they had to increase rates, decrease services and close offices. All we were told is that the Postal Service was not able to run efficiently and tsk tsk, must be signs of their demise. And, we fell for it.
