I have an ongoing issue with (not all) but some of the drivers from UPS. On the most part some do well but on the other hand, I often get a package delivered and the driver does not quite make it in the building to deliver the package. In turn and what makes him really dumb is he/she will leave the package outside the building on the side walk where hundreds of people pass by and packages have been stolen.

Last week, once again a package was left outside the building near the building front steps. He left the package in the pouring rain outside in the street. I found the package washed up to the curb soaking wet. I received notification that my package was delivered which made me go and look for it. I complained a number of times in the past and they say a manager will get back to me but never does. I wish I had a choice of delivery options but unfortunately do not.

A package worth a lot of money was shipped a week ago and UPS has constantly said it is coming each day and as I wait for it they change it to arriving tomorrow. It is tragic how ignorant a company could be towards their customers' time. Will never use again for as long as I live.

Sent a box of health snacks to my son in Evanston (60201-2920). Purchased on Amazon from a third party merchant (lady-grocer). Paid on 4/4/19. UPS shipping label generated 4/8. Promised delivery in 1 week (4/14) which is ridiculously slow (even the USPS is faster). As I write this it is now 4/27 (over 3 weeks) and all UPS says is that they cannot locate my package despite having giving them the tracking #.

Their “customer service” response is that I print and fill out a 3 page form and mail or fax it back to them and to contact the merchant?!?! How is that going to find my package? I have never been treated with such lack of concern. Forget about being reimbursed.... Lost time as well as my item and my $31 purchase price. LESSON: only ship with Amazon or FedEx. Neither have EVER lost a package of mine in the last 5 years and my shipment has never taken longer than 3 days to arrive.

This is the third package in a row that my package has either been delayed. It is supposed to be 2 day delivery from Amazon, but with this lousy company they make me wait an entire week before I get the packages. Also customer service is just a copy/paste affair pretending they even care about the mishaps.

On 4/25/19 I was waiting for a package to be delivered. Around 2:15 pm I watched from my porch the UPS truck pull up to the corner of my block, turn his truck off, sit for about 1 minute, turned his truck on and pull off. At 2:20 pm I get a message saying delivery attempted. I called UPS for them to say they cannot do a second attempt. I told them there was no first attempt. UPS drivers are the laziest carriers I've ever seen. The beauty about the story is I have it all on video via the security camera on my porch that I will be sending to the media. Apparently this is a thing UPS drivers do to shorten their day and supervisors are aware of it. Well I'm not letting it slide because I want answers.

Having paid a premium for guaranteed delivery, I didn't even get a refund as they said it was the result of an "emergency". Actually, they changed the reason 3 times when asked! They say it's an "emergency" to be cleared from living up to their own T&Cs. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE UPS AGAIN. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES. NONE. I had an issue with a package with UPS, where they lost my package. I had paid extra to UPS, so that they could send the package to my house as opposed to me picking it up at a local UPS SurePost. It turns out that when they lose a package when you purchase ground shipping from UPS, they can't refund you your money - even though they lost your package in the first place.

What makes matters worse is that the people that I had contacted from their customer service number were the worst customer representatives I have ever spoke to. They were very rude and were even yelling at me (this is from the department that handles special cases). When I was speaking to a regular customer representative, they didn't even want to bother talking to me until I asked them to redirect me to someone who can help. Probably the worst carrier I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. It is a shame to see how customer service is being handled these days.

If you want to be a horribly cheap company, offer a call back option so every one of your poor customers doesn't have to sit for over an hour for you to save a few bucks. I purchased an item weighing more than 140 lbs from Costco and wanted to return it. Costco send a pickup authorization along with the USP tracking number and informed me that the package would be picked up from my house in 1-2 business days. No UPS truck showed up at my house next day. I then called the UPS customer service and told them that I will not be at home after 3 PM and requested them to send the driver before 3 PM on 04/18/19. The driver didn't show up by 3 PM. I came home at 4:50 PM and saw the driver leaving at that time. He left a note on front of my door about the pickup attempt for that day.

Next day, I called UPS and was told to drag the extremely heavy package outside my garage and place it in the driveway. The UPS driver flew by my house on 04/19/19 and didn't even stop. I was at home and waiting for him but he didn't bother stopping. So, I had to drag the package back inside my garage. I have a bad back and am due for surgery. My back hurt a lot and I had to take painkillers and anti-inflammatories for the next 2 days to help calm down the pain. I called and complained to the UPS customer service but was told that UPS had already made 3 attempts and couldn't pick up the package. The driver is constantly lying and UPS doesn't care and no action was taken at all against the driver. I asked to speak to one of the supervisors but was told that the supervisor was not available to talk to me.

My package is still sitting inside my garage and it has been a month. Now UPS called me today and said that I have to again drag the package outside my garage and put it on my driveway. Only then UPS driver will pick it up. The driver will not knock on my door. This is unbelievable. I will not break my back just because UPS can't do their job properly. UPS customer service completely sucks and this particular UPS driver is totally dishonest. I will never use UPS for anything and will never recommend UPS to anyone. Absolutely unprofessional carrier.

I used my PayPal to pay for the shipment. I person came with a hand truck/trolley to pick up the package. On 4/14/19 my PayPal account was charged and additional $1333.83 for the package. The bill that was sent to me included incorrect weight and incorrect measurements.

I contacted UPS and the only thing I was able to get was a $400 refund (which I haven’t received as yet). Their UPS is saying that as an Engineer I don’t know how to measure a box or weigh a TV. I was charged over $1100 to send a $400 TV to Florida. What made it worst was that after they realize that the cost was waaay more than I was charged, No attempt was made to see if I as a customer still wanted to proceed. Driver shows up on Saturday morning at 11:42 AM and leaves second notice because we are away. Tracking notes second delivery attempt and repeats the 3:00 to 7:30 Monday delivery time. Customers would be better off if UPS' tracking system did not attempt to advise of delivery time unless they confirm same with driver. Otherwise UPS does a disservice to its customers./

I’m a 66 year old man who has been legally disabled since 1990. I’ve discovered UPS (United Parcel Service) is willing to collect money (shipping charges) yet haphazardly abandons responsibility when delivering packages to residential properties on a gravel road at speeds in excess of two times the posted limit. As a result, the road must be repaired often and ultimately repaved.

I asked the UPS driver(s) on multiple occasions to slow down on camera. I explained the children, horses and dogs residing on the properties. I explained the wild rabbits, javelina and deer that frequent the road, yet the UPS driver(s) ignored my requests. I telephoned the UPS local office and call center registering a complaint numerous times… to no avail.

Since a UPS driver has already struck and killed a deer, I am calling for all businesses and residents to take notice on behalf of the children, horses, dogs, rabbits, javelina and deer. The UPS corporate office has exuded prejudice and discrimination; continuing to condone the UPS driver(s) immoral actions and lies. A class action lawsuit is in order to establish resolution of abuse.

Powell’s turned the order over to UPS the next day. UPS then shipped the order to Fife, WA. where it sat before they shipped it back to Portland. They then turned it over to USPS for delivery. My other complaint is that UPS makes it impossible to register this complaint. Why are they so inefficient? I strongly suspect that their contracts do not allow a shipper to use other cheaper options. They are probably violating antitrust laws.

I've made dozens of calls to their customer service and absolutely nothing has been done. They are either unable or unwilling to fix this problem regardless of the damage they are doing on a regular basis by delaying our deliveries. I've been told this driver is protected by the union and therefore there isn't much that can be done to him. He's therefore allowed to abuse his power and do as he pleases with our packages.

There is zero accountability for the drivers or for the managers that are supposed to manage issues. We have no other problems with deliveries from FEDEX, the US post office, Amazon or any other delivery service. It is only with UPS and specifically with the driver assigned to our route. Their inability to fix the problem and their choice to look the other way, point to a systematic problem in this company with unethical behavior and a lack of problem-solving ability.

I sold a piece of medical equipment to our customer here on Long Island, NY. The equipment was purchased from a company out of China, so they shipped the equipment to a brokerage company in FL. The company in FL, shipped the equipment to us via UPS Ground. When tracking the package, it was due for delivery by the end of the day Friday, 3/29/19. My company was in the middle of moving to a new office just one town over on that same day. I called to see if the package could be rerouted to the new location, and UPS said it could not be. So I told the person in customer service at UPS that there was a chance no one would be there that day to receive the package.

They informed me that will would make 2 other attempts to deliver. So I said "great" - I could have the landlord or new company who took our old space receive the package and get it delivered to my end user on time for Monday, 4/1/19. So UPS was FULLY AWARE that we were moving that day. The driver arrives to deliver the package and sees a printed sign in the window stating we have moved to "x" address. So instead of setting up a second attempt, or sending the package to the hold for pick up location here in our county, they took it upon themselves to return to sender, ground. There was NO consent for this to take place, nor was I informed there would be charge for the return.

I called UPS and spoke with the customer service supervisor who's name was Angel, and I spoke with the billing supervisor who's name was Sandy - I begged to have the package rerouted and they refused. I spoke with the manufacturer in China, as well as the brokerage company in Florida who was the original sender... No one could help me. This customer will never purchase from my company again, the manufactures name has been tarnished, and we will never use UPS again. All because they refused to correct an error on their end. The amount we now have to pay because of the return, as well as having it shipped back to NY - is more than the commission of the sale itself. UPS should be ashamed of themselves.

The date of delivery we get a message: receiver refused delivery. The Post Office, which was the receiver, did NOT refuse delivery, UPS had not even been there yet. UPS advised to have sender give alternate address, which was immediately done. UPS supervisors first assured package would be redelivered same day. Soon, we got a message advising it would be delivered a WEEK LATER! We spoke again to supervisors who guaranteed delivery next day. Late at night, an agent confirmed alternate address and next day delivery.

Early in the morning, we got a message: the package was again being returned to sender, the address had been reverted to the original address, and again, driver said receiver refused delivery. All along, we could not speak to a manager, and the agent just apologized for a millionth time adding that their hands are tied. Nobody could speak to whatever main location has radio contact with the driver to answer why this was happening. Worst customer service, worst parcel service. WIll never use again.

Today I learned that UPS acts as a middleman between USPS and Customer if the package has to be delivered to PO Box address. I know it's officially quoted that UPS holds no responsibility if a package is shipped through them to a PO Box address. The main concern now I see is if that so why would UPS loot money from people by surcharging for something that they won't be responsible? Why goes print shipping label through UPS? WHY do guys receive the package that should be shipped to PO Box?

Please direct people to USPS, my humble request not to accept such packages to which you won't bear any responsibility and charge them with overhead cost just to profit yourself. Please don't make people fools by charging them unnecessarily and direct them to USPS. Just by receiving the package, charging some extra money, not being responsible for such PO Box packages will make UPS to lose hopes among people. Such a waste of time and money. Broken...

I began using UPS to ship packages for my business in the Fall of 2016. My new account manager, Hayden **, was helpful in getting my new account set up and always responsive when I had a question. However, he did lie to me about one thing: when my invoices needed to be paid. He just said that the UPS billing department would call me if I waited too long to pay them. I was switching over from FedEx where my invoices were billed monthly, and I always paid it immediately upon receipt. So that's what I was doing at UPS--paying it once a month. UPS sent me paper invoices for the first month, then discontinued sending them all together, so I wasn't even sure what I was being billed.

Later, I received an email that Hayden was no longer my account manager, and that moving forward it would be James **. Shortly after that, I tried contacting James via email and phone calls--no response from him... FOR MONTHS!!! Finally, I had to go above James and speak to his boss, Dan ** and, what do you know? James finally gets around to calling me. It's so nice of UPS that they were able to rope me in by switching my business shipping over to them, and then once my account was established with them, they suddenly became unavailable for any help whatsoever. Finally, I was able to have James help me figure out how to view my invoices online, and what do you know? Hundreds of dollars in late fees because UPS requires their invoices to be paid weekly!

I went back to Dan ** and complained about all the late fees and the lack of response from James ** for such a long period of time. He told me they would do better and responding and promised to remove ALL the late fees. They just wanted me to pay for my recent two-weeks worth of unpaid invoices first, which I did. Then I look at my account and find out that they refund part of the late fees. I called Dan ** to inquire why all the late fees hadn't been credited back to my account, and his response was, "Oh, I didn't mean ALL of the late fees, just some of them."

I promptly told Dan that I was tired of being lied to and that I would like to speak to his boss, to which he replied that anyone above him that I spoke to would refer my complaint back to him, i.e. that there was no one else higher up to speak to besides him. I told Dan to close my account. Surprisingly, he didn't care to lose my business, even though I paid upwards of $1000 in shipping fees to UPS per month. I moved my business back to FedEx and haven't had any problems with FedEx since. Lesson learned! My advice for other businesses out there: Don't use UPS! You will get royally screwed!!!

Not only they didn’t show up as promised on that day, but didn’t even have the common decency to notify me of any delays. I wasted all the time and beyond but to no avail. The following day, and as if nothing happened, they notified me that the parcel will be delivered three days later than originally scheduled and that I needed to wait for another four hours for their delivery. They are totally unreliable and unprofessional with no regard for their clients. I definitely will never use these people again nor recommend UPS to anyone else.

Oh boy where I start? Simple: do not use them!!! I stayed all day long on the phone with them, scheduling a pick up, and then the driver arrived, 3 seconds, departed without taking my packages or waiting for me. I had to reschedule a pick up. I could not, had to depart the following day, so I decided to drop off my packages on the closest drop off location, so I did, one by one, 80 pounds, 5 packages. Good. The driver arrived, and said he would take only one package with that tracking number, departed leaving all my boxes there. We are on a Friday. The owner of the drop off business called me so stopped whatever I was doing, ran there and called the company back, to check what was wrong, they could not say but looked that maybe the packages would have been picked up by the day. Ok.

I returned home at 8 pm, passed by the business, guess what? My packages were still there. Called them again: they told me they would not be able to pick them up before the following Monday. I tried to explain that I lost the entire day for them to pick them up on the day, for safety, as the business was very busy, especially during the weekend, but no, they could not do anything. I asked why the first driver did not waited for me? He had no time. He is on a schedule, ok. I asked why the second driver refused to pick up my boxes from the drop off point, they did not know, but I could open a complain if I wanted, I said, "Thanks, no need, all I need is that these packages, someday, maybe, will have a driver picking them up for delivery." Maybe.

Now I am going to have a very long trip and instead to think about the trip, the practical things to be done I will be in a constant anxiety for these packages, left there, on a public business, for over 2 days, and only God know if and when they will ever be picked up. Still interested to ship with this company? Go ahead, good luck! Me, I am done with them, thanks.

They must have some dumb new people working for them, making their ratings go down very quickly. I'm very unhappy with UPS and will not have another item delivered by them until they get there heads back on straight.

They didn't even offer any kind of shipping discount for the bad delivery they have done so far. Even the seller had refunded me my money back and gave me the item free due to UPS's mistake and stupidity. Shows you how nice UPS is on their mistakes, by letting others pay for their problems, if I were you I wouldn't have UPS deliver your items unless you want them a month late or not at all without telling you what has happened to your items. It was the seller that had to fill me in on what happened to my shipping, not UPS. Not even one word from them. Just it's delayed even though it was lost, and then the second one it's delayed again. DON'T GO UPS, go FEDEX OR USPS. They at least tell you what's going on with your shipment. This is my UPS story.

We are a business and have used FedEx ground for some 20 years. In Jan. 2017 we switched over to UPS ground as they offered us better discount incentives than FedEx. The drivers, the pickups, and overall initial shipping was great. As the weeks progressed we would get invoiced weekly due in 15 days. We would mail a check 3-4 days before due BUT, you let them get it 1 day late and your hit with a late fee PLUS interest.

Then we started mailing 5 days before due. It may have been due on a Sat. and deposited on Monday... YEP another late fee PLUS interest again. WE NEVER-EVER got this kind of treatment from FedEx. If that's not enough... just call and get an approved credit from a billing error. Two months later you'll get a single invoice for interest only from 2 months before. This necessitates countless time to research, you then call, get it removed, and 2 months later another late fee on the same thing. If you don't pay it, they will lock you out of the system forcing you to pay. This is a clever but totally unethical...perhaps illegal method of revenue enhancement.

In 2018 we switched back to FedEx and regret we ever went to UPS. FedEx's billing is rarely incorrect and if it is, you short pay the invoice and never hear about it again. NOW... UPS provided us a label printer in 2017. In mid 2018 they sent us an invoice for $276.00 for the printer. I sent a letter back stating they could have the printer back if 1/ the sales rep. came to get it or 2. We would ship back to them. Since, UPS has continued billing us for the printer PLUS interest which has now reached over $450.00 yes (four hundred fifty). Since, I have learned of many others using UPS with billing nightmares which almost takes a full time person dedicated to UPS invoices only. This is stupid. The only remedy is FedEx.

We had a package to deliver, measuring 32 x 17 x 4 inches. Grant it that it’s an unusual size, but they said they would customize a box for it. Their “customizing” the box was to take an extra large box to fit the package and then fill in the remaining space with lots of smaller boxes and bubble wraps. What was originally 30 pounds ended up weighing 36 pounds. We not only had to pay for the extra weight but also the packing service and boxes (the boxes were not new but recycled with previous shipping labels on it).

On top of that, we specifically said we did not want it left at the doorstep of the destination but that when notified, someone would pick up at the closest carrier station. This was because of the rash of thefts, and no one at the house to receive it, we didn’t want to leave a $1500 item exposed outside for anyone to pick up. UPS reassured us, it would not happen, that they would leave the package at the station and notify us when it arrived.

This morning, I received a notification from UPS that the package had arrived and had been delivered to the door! I had to call my friend who had to rush across town from work just to get the package, and sure enough, it was sitting outside the doorstep of his residential address. When I complained to UPS, the supervisor said, "Well, at least it arrived safely!" That is small comfort for a worry that could have been prevented if they had done their job correctly. If I could give them a 0, I would — 1 is too generous. The item cost us almost $1500. You just don’t leave it lying outside for thieves to pick up. I will never deal with them again.

If I could give them a negative rating I would!!! I am sitting here in tears from frustration. This company is the worst! I had to overnight my car keys to my boyfriend so he could use the car to drive up from SD to the Bay for a 10 am delivery, it cost $110. A simple task, you'd think? Nope. The keys didn't show up. My boyfriend and I are on a farm with no house. So he waited outside all day in the rain for the truck to come so he could sign for the package. We kept calling and calling asking about updates and finally were told they'd be there by 8 pm. Nothing at 8 pm and we are both pissed. We call (we had to force someone to transfer us to their shipping center) and they say they were lost, maybe put on the wrong truck - why couldn't they have found out earlier in the day it didn't make it onto the right truck?

Then began the "investigation" to find them, which could last up to ten days. We kept calling for updates and they say they could call when they had either found them or when the investigation had closed. So we waited a few more days before calling again and they said "oh, it's been closed, we couldn't find them" - they didn't call us saying it had been closed or that it was still lost, we had to. So then we have to start the claims process as getting my car keys back will require a car tow to the dealership, two keys to be cut, made, programmed + labor, and a new battery since it died sitting there for 3 weeks (about $1,000 in total). People say they can't help us and keep transferring us for days, saying we will get called back but no one does. No one wants to help you!

Many people said they'd pay for it and I finally reached a nice lady in the investigations department, Katherine, who said she could help me. She gave me her email and I set in my first invoice, saying more would be coming next week (this week). I call today to send in more invoices, but suddenly no one can transfer me to that department like the number/extension magically disappeared from their phonebooks. LIKE MAGIC. The one person who was willing to help me, I can't reach.

So I'm transferred to the billing department where I tell her the whole story againnn and they say the same thing "the claim has been processed and will be in the mail" but that claim is just for the shipping! I tell them that I have invoices to submit, that I want to talk to Katherine, no one can get me to that one person. I ask if Katherine had inputted the original invoice I sent... She hadn't. No one will help you. Then I get on with a supervisor who really pisses me off! Saying I need to contact the store I sent it from -- they can't do anything! They've done their part, submitted all their information! It's on the company now, don't try and send me back to the store where they won't be able to help because trust me, I had to call the store multiple times!

Oh by the way, at the store I shipped it from they told me: "yeah I have no idea what they're doing over there (referring to the company) because I am just as lost as you are" Wow it's so comforting to hear an employee say they are just as lost as I am! Great job! Anywho... This supervisor was caddy and saying "I'm not trying to upset you, but we won't cover for any of those damages you've mentioned. It's in the fine print when you ship. We won't cover it". Wtf again! I say I have spoken to many people who said the company would cover it and she asks for the names and their phone numbers and I say "nobody gives you a ** call back number because you guys don't want to help us!"

No one gives me any helpful information, but I was told, "It would be covered!" She keeps going, "I'm not trying to upset you," blah blah blah and I'm like, "how are you trying to not upset me right now? You are telling me you wont pay for the $800-$1000 I have had to pay? I basically went off about what a horrible company it was and that I needed to talk to her boss, whoever was above her because I didn't trust a single word that came out of her mouth. She said I would be called back within two days and I insisted to be called back within the hour since I don't trust any of the employees.

I get on the phone with the woman who actually called me back (congratulations UPS, stepping up in the ** world!) and my boyfriend was also on the line. We discuss how horrible our experience has been and that we just want to speak with the one employee who would help us, Katherine. She couldn't connect me... A supervisor couldn't even do that... woooowww. She says she can email her with urgency but there's no guarantee there will be a response. I need a guarantee because I'm not letting them off the hook for now getting back to me. I was able to get the supervisor's number but also said she wouldn't reimburse me for the consequential damages of my lost package, but if Katherine is willing to help then she is the girl to talk to wow if only I could contact her!

Now I'm waiting 1. for my claim check for my shipping 2. someone who can HELP me. It's so simple. I just need one person to send my invoices to, so they can input them in my file, and send me another check. How hard it this and how can that take over 3 weeks? I am hopeful Katherine will go through with her word and if not I don't know what I'm going to do. This company is criminal. If they don't cover these costs why would the other employees say you do? Why don't you train them better? It's not like your shipper at the store says "btw if we lose these keys you won't get back the $800-$1000 you'll have to pay to get everything worked out". Also, why would a supervisor not be able to help me but a regular employee in the investigations department can? wtf.

This company does not want to help you because they suck so hard and steal from you. No one ever calls you back, no one gives you their phone number, no one can help you! You spend hours of your day going in circles, being transferred to 6 different people explaining your story over again! It's not hard people! Just live up to a good customer service motto/standard! FedEx would refund me, Amazon would refund me, UPS does not value their customers and just wants to take take take. I will never trust them again EVER and will post this experience anywhere I can.

I am a very outgoing, mind, bubbly/happy person and have never ever had to speak to a company like this. I am appalled at their lack of integrity, lack of morals, lack of everything! They will rip you off and screw you over! It's not worth the trouble so do not use them for anything! I'm just looking out for everyone else who wants to do a simple thing like overnighting a package without wanting to end up spending almost $1000 and 3+ weeks of their time fighting with this company. I could go on and on but will stop myself here. Rant over.

This is my honest review after having ENOUGH of UPS Germany. This is the fourth time I've experienced unprofessionalism and immense displeasure of doing business with them. I ordered a product from Sweden to an office address. The Sweden office shipped everything in a timely manner without a problem. THE PROBLEM happens (ALWAYS) when it comes over to German UPS.

First the delivery driver did NOT even bother to drop off the package to the correct office address at the reception desk but took it to a random address. Second, then the driver put the random address and name and 'finished it' by saying it got delivered. I received the delivery email and to find out, there were TWO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES! Where is this random place and which one is it?! I had to spend all day looking for the packages in Berlin. Called the German UPS customer service and was told that I would have to contact the Sweden office to correct it and that it wasn't their fault... What a way to handle customer satisfaction. This happened every time I called for assistance and I am tired of their "not my problem" attitude. From now on I will NO LONGER use their service and definitely share my experience with everyone to let them know what people are dealing with. WORST POSTAL SERVICE EVER GERMAN UPS!

Dealing with UPS in Ontario has not only been inconvenient, but frustrating in their lack of professionalism and inability to perform the job they are contracted to do. They have made it quite clear by their actions, that they do not care about you or your packages. In my opinion, UPS has become so far removed from the people who should be receiving deliveries and the companies who use their poor service to deliver their products. UPS demonstrates an obvious apathy, and lack of accountability to both the companies that hire their service to deliver their product and to the recipients who have prepaid for this service to deliver their purchases.

If one has an issue with the lack of service, UPS makes it very difficult to find a phone number to speak with a real person. My explanation for their poor conduct would take a long time to type out the details to a virtual customer service online. It became very clear from the UPS people I managed to contact, that it is their policy that drivers do not have to deliver if they don't want to and without any notification to the recipients waiting for their purchases. I am a person that ordinarily accepts a business's policies, but in 67 years, I have never felt more disrespected.

My first encounter with UPS involved a return item that was supposed to be picked up at my residence. They refused to come down our road because, as they put it, they did not feel comfortable about coming down our hill. I have several clients who drive our road every day with no issues. My husband and I drive up and down the road every day, with no difficulty. Now, I would not expect them to deliver in the case of a bad ice or snowstorm, but if that were the case, they should at least call and try again the next good day.

Our road is always plowed in the winter by 6:30 a.m.- every day. There are two other families on our short road and they both commute daily into Napanee for work. Management in Belleville directly overseeing deliveries in Napanee say that it is up to the courier's discretion, whether they choose to deliver a package or not. No second attempts were made, no attempts to call and notify me that they were not going to deliver...hoping that we would just go away. Now Wayfair, the company who gave UPS the bid for delivery tried to make things right on their end, and I can't say enough about the exemplary and professional treatment they have always given me. Wayfair accepted the loss - which I feel it is just bad business on the part of UPS and very unfair to companies who hire UPS. Very irresponsible. I have had many other courier companies deliver several items during that same time period with no problems.

Then the following week I had my second encounter with UPS. I was expecting another delivery. When it didn't arrive on the expected date, I tracked the package online and discovered that, not only had the package been sitting at UPS depot in Napanee for two days without any notice, but that the Person in charge at the Napanee UPS depot had made an arbitrary decision not to attempt any other deliveries on our road and that they would just send back any packages for my road without so much as a phone call.

I have tried to reach out to the courier's direct supervisor in Belleville, with offers to meet the driver at the top of the hill (there was nothing wrong with the road), but he said the UPS' policy does not obligate UPS drivers to call in any circumstance, such as refusing to deliver on our road. They are not expected to even notify us. These deliveries were prepaid. I feel UPS not only demonstrates total disregard for the people waiting for their purchases to be delivered, but to the companies they promise to deliver for. In a smaller town like Napanee, I assume there must be only one UPS courier driver, and there is such an obvious lack of supervision over their driver's poor conduct.

If the driver cannot even drive our road, which is very easy to traverse, perhaps he is in the wrong line of work. Management should have come to check the road themselves and made suitable accommodations to enable us to receive delivery. In summation, it appears to me, and I imagine there are many more who have incurred UPS's poor business practices, that it is time that UPS disband if they are so disinterested in the job they should be doing. I see it as a violation of contract to both parties.

On the UPS website, they indicate the address change was made at “customer request.” That is a complete lie. I have NEVER once changed my delivery address from my home. Trying to reach anyone at UPS who has any authority to do something about firing the management of the Silverthorne facility is absolutely impossible. I’ve spent far too much of my life dealing with UPS in The Philippines, being put on hold forever (because UPS management are either non-existent or are cowards - while the former seems obvious, the latter is most likely true), waiting for callbacks that never happen, etc. I have been writing Amazon - no matter how futilely - demanding they stop using UPS altogether. As they (obviously) won’t, I’ve chosen to no longer use Amazon.

I do not understand how a company like this can still be in service. The customer agents are rude and disrespectful, they deliver packages to the wrong address then want to blame you for THEIR error. I have packages delivered to my local post office by using the physical address as this is an option we have. It seems as if they do not understand and will deliver the package to my front door or neighbor's front door, to a post office I didn't put as my delivery address. When I pay for a P.O. Box I plan to use it for deliveries, I use the physical address to make sure my packages are delivered there. So over a 6 month span my packages have been lost or sent back to sender for undeliverable address about twice a week.

I have a home based business so I only use the P.O. because it's safer. I was just told by the local UPS that they will no longer deliver packages to my local post office and packages will be delivered to the main post office going forward. Now I call my main post office in my area to be told the package now has to go through a sort process that will take place at 1 am. Then the package will be sent to my local post office. Now my local post office is unsure why UPS delivered a package with another post office address to them. So I just go to my local P.O. to retrieve my package just to have no package. I call the main post office to hear the package was scanned back to UPS this morning. I call the local UPS once again about said package to hear "I thought you and the post office got it all square away" then I explain it was scanned back to UPS this morning.

The UPS agent says the post office cannot legally move a UPS package that's why it was scanned back to UPS. However that contradict the fact that UPS can just drop a package off to another facility not the delivery address. So now my package is still in limbo and I'm awaiting more details as to where my package is. I just don't understand why simple directions can't be followed. Use the address on the package and drop packages off where they are supposed to be delivered to and nowhere else. If I am aware that a vendor I use uses UPS I'm going to have to make my purchase somewhere else. I pay for package delivery and I don't want to pay UPS another dime for poor quality of service.

Before the truck goes by fishtailing in the snow the mailbox is there and 1.3 seconds after the truck fishtails by my mailbox the mailbox is hanging on the side of the post. But no, you could be right that something else did it...What a joke!

The video is clear. You know there is nothing a homeowner can do because if I open a claim with homeowner’s insurance the cost of the mailbox is below the insurance claim deductible and they will not do anything until the deductible is reached. Opening a police report would only work if I wanted to spend the time and money to take you to small claims court which is hardly worth it. BUT YOU KNOW THIS DON'T YOU? My complaint is with the package delivery service that delivers almost 100% of all packages when a product is purchased: The UPS/United Parcel Service package delivery drivers are the culprits! I get quite a lot of UPS packages delivered, sometimes twice a week. They always THROW the packages they deliver either down on the floor near the door or up against a wall or up against the opposite side of the hallway across on the other side of the customer's door, instead of knocking on the door and allowing the customer to receive the package before they RUN AWAY!!!

The next best thing is to just place the package in front or to the side of the door, just placing the package down in front of the customer's door, knock and then leave. The driver who delivered a package to me at 2:57 PM today, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 threw the package so hard up against my door until if I had not been expecting the package because of knowing it was to be delivered today, it would've frightened me almost half to death! The package hit my door so hard if I hadn't known better, I may have erroneously thought someone was trying to break into my apartment. As usual, by the time I got to the door, the driver, as usual, had fled the scene, running for the elevator.

I have seen them do the same to other tenants in my building sometimes, when I happen to either be on the elevator or waiting for the elevator and one of those always-in-a-hurry UPS workers are delivering a package, I've actually seen them throwing the customer's package from inside the elevator or in other cases I've seen them as they get off the elevator and then throw the package towards the tenant's apartment door. This is absurd and is very bad business. It happens all the time and UPS should be ashamed to allow this to keep occurring. I know that they must rush and hurry because it is the manner of UPS to cause their drivers to hurry up all the time and I think the drivers are afraid to take the necessary time to make a professional delivery. UPS failed to deliver the package and then, rather than attempting to reach me, they slow-motion shipped the package back across the country. This totally ruined my trip as the package had items that were critically important. UPS is worthless when it came to offering other options. There was no way to redirect the package - this took a long time for them to confirm as they kept flipping back and forth about this detail. In addition, I was told that I would receive a refund but upon returning the my original UPS shipping office, I was told that a refund would not be an option. In my extensive experience with various carriers, based on shipping thousands of packages of all sizes: UPS is by far the worst. I ordered pants from US, I live in Finland. 3 weeks after ordering I wanted to check where the shipment is, and according to the UPS tracking page it was already being sent back to US, because it couldn't be delivered. The only issue I have with this, is that nobody even tried to deliver the package to me as far as I know, also I didn't receive any email or text message that the shipment had actually arrived and would be available for pickup somewhere. When I called UPS customer service, the answer was just that the package would have to be shipped again. For all I know it could have been just laying in some warehouse in the US all the time, and UPS could have been just billing the shipping fee for nothing. I really am surprised at how awful UPS is, fortunately DHL is much better.

Luckily, I know my neighbors but this has happened more than 3 times. They know where my house is-they deliver large bulky items but not other things. They even stopped a neighbor at our mailboxes, asked her if she knew me and then handed over my package. This is ridiculous!!!

As I stated before, I have called UPS and, after their arduous process to talk to a real live person, I complained and was told I would get a call. Nope! Amazon uses UPS for Prime Deliveries and I am trying to change the shipping options to just use the postal service. UPS needs to take control of their drivers and make them stop just putting packages anywhere-around here all houses have house numbers because of 911 so there is no excuse. Called the sender they couldn’t do anything until 3/1, call UPS and was told package showing delivered. After speaking with a supervisor at one of the UPS hub, she stated package was delivered to incorrect address by the driver and she provided me the address where package was delivered and I was told to go to that address to see if they had my package. As I thought no one answered the door.

I then advised the supervisor who said she would get the driver to go back to that address to pick up my package and to deliver to me the next day. Next day came. Still no package. Call back UPS customer service and was told call the shipper do they can start an investigation. Called the shipper who then said to contact UPS again and they will reshape my order again. They deliver boxes. That's it. Their drivers, however, are only interested in padding their delivery attempt statistics because two thirds of the time I am awaiting a UPS delivery - they make me wait around all day and NEVER actually knock on the door or make any effort to actually let me know they're at my door with my box. What they do is write in advance the "delivery notice" and simply walk up to the door, stick the pre-written delivery notice on the door and then drive away.

Then, when you go outside and see that all they've done is stick the deliver notice to the door and drive away so they can do that maybe 30 times in a hour or two. It pads their stats because delivering the box isn't enough. They must find their power somewhere and they do it like I just described. Then when you call to complain, you talk to somebody in the Philippines who is too far away to care, help, or anything and they just tell you whatever you want to hear to get you off the phone because they have stats to protect too. It's never about the actual customer with UPS. They're the absolute worst delivery company on the planet. Not even an exaggeration. They cause people so much stress and all they have to do is drop boxes off at addresses. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

I ordered a box of the diapers my infant needs on February 12th with two-day delivery. We had some mostly-melted snow in Seattle at that point - schools were back in session - but there was a weather-related delivery exemption for the scheduled February 14th delivery, followed by another exemption on the 15th. Then, the next week, the package delivery estimate was updated to Tuesday, February 19th between 3:30-7:30 PM. There was an update that it was on the delivery truck in the morning and then, late that night, after no package had arrived, the delivery estimate was updated to Wednesday, February 20th from 3:30-7:30 PM. The same thing happened again: update that it's on the truck, followed by late-night delivery change to Thursday.

On Thursday, the same thing happened, but around 5:30 PM, they changed the estimate to Friday. I called customer service at this point and explained that these changes had consequences and that it was urgent that we get the non-irritating diapers that day. I was told they sent an urgent message to the Georgetown UPS facility and that a representative from that facility would call me back by 6:39 PM. Come 9 pm, I still hadn't received the promised call, and instead got a bizarre update that there had been a delivery attempt and that the package was undeliverable at that address.

I checked the address and there were no issues. So I called customer service again. They apologized profusely and said they wrote a message to the facility clarifying that the address is correct and requesting a call. They promised I would receive a call by 10:00 AM Friday morning to verify the address and when my package would be delivered on Friday. Of course, come 10:30 AM on Friday, I still haven't received a call. So, I once again called customer service and all they can do is send another message to the Georgetown service center. They also tried to claim that these issues were due to weather, which makes no sense as the roads have been entirely clear for a week now. Then, they claimed it had to do with volume, which does not at all explain the daily changes when the package is already on the truck or the bizarre misunderstanding of a very clear street address.

In the meantime, I've had two-day deliveries - and same-day deliveries! - from FedEx and USPS with no problems this week, including on the only two days when there was snow or ice on the ground (10 days ago now.) Oh, and when I asked to speak directly with the facility or with someone who could address these ongoing issues, I was told the only way to contact the delivery center is with "automated messages" from customer service and the only way to contact the corporate higher-ups would be through a letter. What is going on with UPS, Seattle UPS especially???

Plus we watched the driver pull a u turn and not even attempt delivery. Let alone go to the call box. Management refuses to do anything about it. They are careless and could give a crap about the people they are paid to service.

Tuesday night I received another text saying it will be delivered Wednesday. It is now Wednesday and it is late at night and the package hasn't arrived yet. I called customer support to find out where my package is or to receive at least SOME clarification but after explaining the situation to the customer support agent, he simply told me it is on its way to me then he proceeded to hang up on me. I am shocked that this is what UPS calls "customer service". It is no wonder DHL is the main postage service here in Germany.

For example, we had snow this morning (less than an inch), the roads are fine but UPS has once again delayed delivery another day. We are days away from having our baby and our urgent baby (rushed btw) packages from UPS have now been delayed almost a full week. FedEx has delivered every day. I tried to contact you piece of paper on my door and when I called customer service to tell them what happened they're just "I’m sorry let me give you a location where you could drop off the item instead of having the delivery driver turn around because he just drove away to pick up the package."

I have the misfortune of having had a package sent to me using UPS which arrived whilst I was out. UPS immediately dropped the package at an "Access Point" which was not convenient so I contact them and made arrangements for re-delivery the following week which were confirmed with the depot by phone. UPS then tried to redeliver whilst I was away (and before the date arranged for re-delivery). Seeing that this had occurred on the tracking information I made two phone calls to confirm that delivery would take place as previously arranged and was told it would.

When the package was not delivered I used web chat to contact UPS. After eventually getting a live person to chat with I was then told that I would be passed to another department who after taking many details told me what I could already read on the tracking page and advised me that as they were in the US I would need to call the UK telephone number. (The one that had already told me delivery would be made that very day!)

Losing faith in UPS (!) I called the vendor of the product I was due to receive delivery of, they contacted UPS and arranged for delivery of the package today. I again confirmed delivery by phone with UPS - as you will have guessed no package showed up - webchat told me to call the local number, the local number arranged for the depot to call and the depot tells me that they don't know where the package is or when it will be delivered... 7 phone calls, 4 webchats, zero promises kept & no parcel. UPS are impenetrable, unreliable, apparently untruthful and above all fail at the basics of delivering a package which their competitors do so slickly.

So I took insurance to be on the safer side. Bag was shipped on time with all the items in the bag but the bag got damaged. It was damaged in such a way that I cannot reuse for next time. As I have Insurance, I called UPS and requested to claim but they denied and said Insurance can be claimed only at the store where I shipped. This is Insane they never told me that when I am taking Insurance or while shipping. I sent an email to the Shop Manager along with the PICs in which state I received the Package. She responded next day and said she will submit the claim to UPS corporate behalf of me.

After few weeks and many follow ups I got a response from store Manager that UPS denied my claim and they are working to refile. Again after few weeks I got an email that they need the Bag pics with the UPS shipping label on it. Are they expecting me to have that Bag and Shipping label for one month and they don't want to use the PICs which I shared earlier. While shipping and taking insurance they never explain such a crap process but when the situation really arises UPS showed me their real service which is really ridiculous. In this competitive and transparent world, you should be honest to your customers as you expect honest from Customer when they are claiming. UPS is the absolute worst shipping company ever. I shipped a guitar amp and guitar cabinet. Collectors editions. They were shipped in their original manufacturer’s box which has the gross weight and dimensions printed right on the front of the box. I went with this weight and dimensions when shipping. The items arrived with the buyer and the cabinet had a corner broken off and a wheel broken. The amp had an indentation on the tolex.

We were going to file a claim, but their procedure is to take the package back, hold it for inspection then send it back to me regardless of the claim outcome. Rather than have the buyer be without an amp and me get sent back damaged goods, we agreed on a compromise. I paid him $250. Then to add insult to injury, UPS charged me an additional $105 because of a 2 inch difference in the box. I cannot believe this. I am sick that I even had to pay what I did for such horrible service, now they want more money.

This is my second recent nightmare delivery experience UPS. Info Notice **. Delivery attempted but I was not home. Called and then later received a callback and was told that I could pick up my package same day at distribution center on Jeff Adams Drive @ 6:30 pm. Fought traffic up I-77 to I-85 reaching the center @ 6:33. Waited about 40 minutes and was told "No one told the driver". (A 2: 30-hour wild goose chase.) I then was instructed to sign slip and tape it to my front door, and it would be delivered the next day. No attempted delivery happened the next day.

Called again @ 7 pm that day and was told I would get a call within 2 hours, call was not returned till next day. At that time I was told it was there at the distribution center and I could come pick it up. Telling me when I requested a same day pick up that it did not go back out - as if this was all my doing. I refused since I did as exactly as instructed yet did not received my package after making the journey.

Previous experience was driver made one attempt to deliver even though notice said to sign back of slip which I did and they would make another attempt. My package sat for two weeks and was then returned to the shipper. When I called I was told the driver had the autonomy not to make another attempt and disregard his own slip instructions, without notifying the recipient.

Incredibly angry!!! I had to have my credit card replaced due to fraud. Since I am supposed to travel tomorrow and only have one credit card I had it sent via UPS overnight and paid for that service. I have UPS Choice so I saw the Delivery was scheduled and because I’ve received several packages via UPS I know we receive our packages between 7 and 8 pm. At 6pm I checked the tracking and it was still out for delivery. At 7pm I checked again and discovered that I could actually follow the truck's progress and saw it was very close to my home address. I ensured the outside lights were on and waited thinking the delivery would arrive very soon. At 7:29pm I checked the tracking again to find that the delivery had been changed to Thursday and that delivery could not be made with the following entry... Delivery Attempted. 02/06/2019 - 7:20 P.M. Orlando, FL, United States

Our driver requires security access for this delivery. We are attempting to obtain the access information. I can assure you this is not a gated community! Nor is there a security access problem reaching my front door. As a matter of fact, UPS delivered here yesterday without issue! So I can only assume this driver lied on his entry to either intentionally skip the delivery in order to make it back to his home base on time or discovered he missed the package and again intentionally lied so he didn’t have to turn around.

At 7:30pm I spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining the problem to the first customer service person who then put me in touch with a second tier customer service associate. I then spent an additional 26 minutes on the phone with that individual. He spent that time trying to reach someone, anyone who could assist and finally resorted to sending emails to supervisors explaining my problem. He also stated he would call me back. I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes and at 10:26pm called the customer service number again only to find out that the second tier associate left at 9pm and I would receive a call back by 10am tomorrow morning. The problem is I would be on a plane with no credit card to pay for hotels etc.

The only recourse I have now it to try to adjust my flight out because your UPS driver apparently wanted to get home and no one could be bothered to get this addressed! I couldn’t even inconvenience myself and drive to the place the package is spending the night because my area is the last to receive packages and was closed during the conversations with customer service. I have no doubt I will be on the phone tomorrow morning trying to get the package delivered so I can start my trip late. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!

The tracking didn't help as it just told me it had arrived with the other 4 packages safely at the sorting facility 1 hr from my house, but that this one package has been delayed due to weather. They have no idea where my package is when I call and every day I wake to an email saying package scheduled for delivery tomorrow, then tomorrow comes and I receive the same email again saying wait around to sign for this package for one more day. The UPS delivery person doesn't have keys to our building, so they leave a "Sorry we missed you" notice on the door. (Understandable.) BUT - this person puts multiple apartment numbers on the same ticket, so no one person can track down their packages (if they even *put* an apt # on the ticket, which half the time they don't). They also ignore "Hey, I'm home! Here's my number and I'll come downstairs to let you in" messages from tenants, not even attempting to contact them when they arrive and change the package online status to "missed delivery" before they even look.

The website won't let you re-route the package to a facility to be picked up until you've had at least one "missed attempt", unless you pay an additional $5-10 ON TOP OF having to drive to the other side of the city to pick up an item you already paid to be delivered to your door. And, to top it all off - if they DO happen to decide to leave the package, they record that it was signed for by "D R" (a.k.a. the freaking DOOR) and leave it outside in plain view and exposed to weather. I've already had one package stolen this way, and when I called customer service they denied any responsibility and told me I had to figure it out with the sender.

I've tried to create an account with them so that I could tailor my deliveries (preferred time so I'm not at work, route to a pickup location within 10min of my apartment instead of 40min away, notify me when the delivery truck is close), and nothing works. They ignore any preferences I have set up and instead provide nothing but negligence. Tldr: NEVER use this service.

I have not had any problems with getting my letters and package time when I order them. All my package comes when they are supposed to. You can always set a date and time to pick up your package if you don't want it delivered because you won't be home to get it.

I send and receive a lot of packages. The majority of the time (75%) when I received a damage package UPS was the carrier. Rarely are the damaged boxes delivered by FedEx or USPS. Sometimes when the boxes arrive I can't believe things aren't missing.

The driver said “no such address.” I had to pickup my package at their store. That is not good customer service, just laziness. Customer service is a lost art if you ask me and it’s not just UPS... USPS is also guilty, it seems no one cares anymore.

I find 2 things about UPS that are important. They know who we are, since we go to the same office all the time. Therefore information is right there saving us time. We know when the package is going to be delivered and to this day we have never been disappointed. This is a bit more expensive than USPS but worth the pennies to get things out, and there are no surprises.

UPS for the most part does a very good job in both delivery and pick up. In all the years I have used them there has only been one incident that was negative. I haven't shipped anything recently with them so I am not sure if they are still more expensive than USPS so I won't comment on cost. Most of the companies I shop with online use UPS and I satisfied with the service.

They are normally consistent. Always knock on door and always bring package to front door. They are very professional and kind. I probably have only had 1 bad experience with them out of hundreds of great experiences. Also, management will follow up when there are problems. I do feel they care about my business.

UPS is everything the postal service isn't and that's generally a good thing. Packages are delivered timely and professionally. They can be a good deal more money but usually they are worth it. Their service that leans on the post office was a bad idea.

UPS sucks in every way. They even lie about making delivery attempts when they're too lazy to do their job and actually deliver the parcels, and instead they deliver them directly to a drop-off location that's usually out of the way for the customer, and expect the customer to pick it up which defeats the purpose of using a courier if the items are not being delivered to a person's home.

This is the worst delivery company, it's been a week after the first attempt to deliver my package and several phone calls to UPS to check where is my item, it is sitting at some delivery point where you have to drive to pick it up. For a week, after instructing UPS never to deliver to place like this but to my home, package has not been picked up by driver and I spent several days sitting at home waiting. I don't even want the purchase anymore, I am that mad!

I most recently used the service to ship Christmas gifts. It cost $60 and took over a week to get there. Receiving packages from merchants is timely and good, but I will never privately ship through them again.

We had a driver that physically put his hands on me, shove me and then take a package that he had just handed off to me, out of my hands and back to the facility. I had contacted UPS that I had been having trouble with this driver for a while and they did nothing. I had video of the incident and they wouldn't look at it. Because I am the only one at the store, the driver has been allowed to get away with questionable behavior because there is no one here to collaborate the incidents. I asked UPS to have a different driver to come to my place of business and I still get the same guy.

UPS email notification of shipment transit does not match projected delivery time. UPS uses a ‘COMMITMENT TIME FOR DELIVERY’ but in the small print UPS tells the recipient that the 3:00 PM commitment could be as late as 9:00 PM.

UPS is one of the oldest shipping companies. I receive majority of my packages from UPS. They always ring the bell and if we are not at home, they have even left a package at a UPS agent in the area, which was so much better than having to wait for the package to be redelivered. We usually always have the same driver, which makes a difference as well.
