If I could give no stars I would. If you are reading this PLEASE don’t use UPS. Day one they say no one was home to accept the package, even though myself and my roommate were home all day. Day two they say, they can’t locate my address. Which is funny because the first day they were able to leave a note on my door. I am 100% done with UPS. I will be bring this to my job as well. They simply can’t be trusted with the simplest of tasks. To add insults to injury, the person I spoke to on the phone at UPS told me, I can just come pick it up from the nearest UPS location. So why do I need you as a delivery service?

This is my honest review after having ENOUGH of UPS Germany. This is the fourth time I've experienced unprofessionalism and immense displeasure of doing business with them. I ordered a product from Sweden to an office address. The Sweden office shipped everything in a timely manner without a problem. THE PROBLEM happens (ALWAYS) when it comes over to German UPS.
First the delivery driver did NOT even bother to drop off the package to the correct office address at the reception desk but took it to a random address. Second, then the driver put the random address and name and 'finished it' by saying it got delivered. I received the delivery email and to find out, there were TWO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES! Where is this random place and which one is it?! I had to spend all day looking for the packages in Berlin. Called the German UPS customer service and was told that I would have to contact the Sweden office to correct it and that it wasn't their fault... What a way to handle customer satisfaction. This happened every time I called for assistance and I am tired of their "not my problem" attitude. From now on I will NO LONGER use their service and definitely share my experience with everyone to let them know what people are dealing with. WORST POSTAL SERVICE EVER GERMAN UPS!

I sent a package and they gave me the receipt. My car burned up on the side of the road so I no longer have my tracking number. I called to try and see where my package was because of course it is late and can't do anything without the tracking number. It is 2019 people. Get it together. You don't just need a tracking number. It's laziness. UPS is trash. Will never ship through them again. I would pay more to go through FedEx or postal. Will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Dealing with UPS in Ontario has not only been inconvenient, but frustrating in their lack of professionalism and inability to perform the job they are contracted to do. They have made it quite clear by their actions, that they do not care about you or your packages. In my opinion, UPS has become so far removed from the people who should be receiving deliveries and the companies who use their poor service to deliver their products. UPS demonstrates an obvious apathy, and lack of accountability to both the companies that hire their service to deliver their product and to the recipients who have prepaid for this service to deliver their purchases.
If one has an issue with the lack of service, UPS makes it very difficult to find a phone number to speak with a real person. My explanation for their poor conduct would take a long time to type out the details to a virtual customer service online. It became very clear from the UPS people I managed to contact, that it is their policy that drivers do not have to deliver if they don't want to and without any notification to the recipients waiting for their purchases. I am a person that ordinarily accepts a business's policies, but in 67 years, I have never felt more disrespected.
My first encounter with UPS involved a return item that was supposed to be picked up at my residence. They refused to come down our road because, as they put it, they did not feel comfortable about coming down our hill. I have several clients who drive our road every day with no issues. My husband and I drive up and down the road every day, with no difficulty. Now, I would not expect them to deliver in the case of a bad ice or snowstorm, but if that were the case, they should at least call and try again the next good day.
Our road is always plowed in the winter by 6:30 a.m.- every day. There are two other families on our short road and they both commute daily into Napanee for work. Management in Belleville directly overseeing deliveries in Napanee say that it is up to the courier's discretion, whether they choose to deliver a package or not. No second attempts were made, no attempts to call and notify me that they were not going to deliver...hoping that we would just go away. Now Wayfair, the company who gave UPS the bid for delivery tried to make things right on their end, and I can't say enough about the exemplary and professional treatment they have always given me. Wayfair accepted the loss - which I feel it is just bad business on the part of UPS and very unfair to companies who hire UPS. Very irresponsible. I have had many other courier companies deliver several items during that same time period with no problems.
Then the following week I had my second encounter with UPS. I was expecting another delivery. When it didn't arrive on the expected date, I tracked the package online and discovered that, not only had the package been sitting at UPS depot in Napanee for two days without any notice, but that the Person in charge at the Napanee UPS depot had made an arbitrary decision not to attempt any other deliveries on our road and that they would just send back any packages for my road without so much as a phone call.
I have tried to reach out to the courier's direct supervisor in Belleville, with offers to meet the driver at the top of the hill (there was nothing wrong with the road), but he said the UPS' policy does not obligate UPS drivers to call in any circumstance, such as refusing to deliver on our road. They are not expected to even notify us. These deliveries were prepaid. I feel UPS not only demonstrates total disregard for the people waiting for their purchases to be delivered, but to the companies they promise to deliver for. In a smaller town like Napanee, I assume there must be only one UPS courier driver, and there is such an obvious lack of supervision over their driver's poor conduct.
If the driver cannot even drive our road, which is very easy to traverse, perhaps he is in the wrong line of work. Management should have come to check the road themselves and made suitable accommodations to enable us to receive delivery. In summation, it appears to me, and I imagine there are many more who have incurred UPS's poor business practices, that it is time that UPS disband if they are so disinterested in the job they should be doing. I see it as a violation of contract to both parties.

My local UPS customer service center in Silverthorne, Colorado is useless… Rather, fraudulent. They REGULARLY change the delivery address from my home to a UPS Store about five miles from my flat. On the UPS website, they indicate the address change was made at “customer request.” That is a complete lie. I have NEVER once changed my delivery address from my home. Trying to reach anyone at UPS who has any authority to do something about firing the management of the Silverthorne facility is absolutely impossible. I’ve spent far too much of my life dealing with UPS in The Philippines, being put on hold forever (because UPS management are either non-existent or are cowards - while the former seems obvious, the latter is most likely true), waiting for callbacks that never happen, etc. I have been writing Amazon - no matter how futilely - demanding they stop using UPS altogether. As they (obviously) won’t, I’ve chosen to no longer use Amazon.

I do not understand how a company like this can still be in service. The customer agents are rude and disrespectful, they deliver packages to the wrong address then want to blame you for THEIR error. I have packages delivered to my local post office by using the physical address as this is an option we have. It seems as if they do not understand and will deliver the package to my front door or neighbor's front door, to a post office I didn't put as my delivery address. When I pay for a P.O. Box I plan to use it for deliveries, I use the physical address to make sure my packages are delivered there. So over a 6 month span my packages have been lost or sent back to sender for undeliverable address about twice a week.
I have a home based business so I only use the P.O. because it's safer. I was just told by the local UPS that they will no longer deliver packages to my local post office and packages will be delivered to the main post office going forward. Now I call my main post office in my area to be told the package now has to go through a sort process that will take place at 1 am. Then the package will be sent to my local post office. Now my local post office is unsure why UPS delivered a package with another post office address to them. So I just go to my local P.O. to retrieve my package just to have no package. I call the main post office to hear the package was scanned back to UPS this morning. I call the local UPS once again about said package to hear "I thought you and the post office got it all square away" then I explain it was scanned back to UPS this morning.
The UPS agent says the post office cannot legally move a UPS package that's why it was scanned back to UPS. However that contradict the fact that UPS can just drop a package off to another facility not the delivery address. So now my package is still in limbo and I'm awaiting more details as to where my package is. I just don't understand why simple directions can't be followed. Use the address on the package and drop packages off where they are supposed to be delivered to and nowhere else. If I am aware that a vendor I use uses UPS I'm going to have to make my purchase somewhere else. I pay for package delivery and I don't want to pay UPS another dime for poor quality of service.

WoW UPS...the comments I'm reading are horrible about your company and resolving issues. My complaint is that you lied about your driver destroying my mailbox. The video I sent you from the house cam is clear and undeniable, yet after visiting the home 3 times you claim that it is unclear that it was the driver or the UPS truck??? Before the truck goes by fishtailing in the snow the mailbox is there and 1.3 seconds after the truck fishtails by my mailbox the mailbox is hanging on the side of the post. But no, you could be right that something else did it...What a joke!
The video is clear. You know there is nothing a homeowner can do because if I open a claim with homeowner’s insurance the cost of the mailbox is below the insurance claim deductible and they will not do anything until the deductible is reached. Opening a police report would only work if I wanted to spend the time and money to take you to small claims court which is hardly worth it. BUT YOU KNOW THIS DON'T YOU? Such an unethical, pre-calculated response. Sorry to say you are horrible!

Small biz long time shipper. If they drop a box and contents are damaged, it is not their fault. You can give them evidence of the damage, but not UPS fault. You will get the runaround if you can even get through to claims. I wish there was an alternative.

Contacted customer service, who then stopped replying to my emails while attempting to resolve issue. Took package to USPS who delivered the package first attempt. I operate a small business. UPS refuses to deliver packages to me. Addresses are completely written with proper municipal addresses, and UPS returns them as "The company or receiver name is incorrect"; they have the arrogance to have the position that something else ought to be written on the address label or that business signage ought to be posted in addition to unit number. UPS consistently causes damages to my packages, including high value items, while in transit. I refuse to use UPS for either commercial or personal shipping.

UPS driver on 1st attempt stated, incorrect or incomplete address. Called vendor, had address verified both by UPS and vendor, both said correct. 2nd attempt driver wrote incorrect hose #. Called UPS, no more deliveries can be attempted. Simply the driver didn't call his supervisor to verify address and get her to use GPS and give him directions, which is what they are to do but was not. 3 attempts are to be made if they want to, but it's easier to take it back and have you come pick it up when you paid them for a service. During December I ordered many packages from Amazon, upwards of 25, none of the packages delivered by UPS were ever left at my door. None of the notes UPS left gave me any information so I'd have to go online to see which one it might be to see they'd been sent to a pickup center. Furthermore, I lost track of one of those packages because of the lack of information on their notes and it was sent back to the shipper. This is not an isolated incident, this happened at the last home I lived in as well, just moved last year. Anyway, I never choose UPS, that's always left to the shipper when you use Amazon.

However, I work from home and I'm home 24x7 during weekdays so the UPS driver didn't even ring the bell. Even though the UPS access point isn't far from my house I need to drive to get there (and struggle to find parking - Hey, it's NYC!) because currently it's really cold (mid 20s) and the boxes tend to be heavy. I thought UPS was supposed to be well run but it is an extraordinarily dysfunctional company. After 1 week of calls, misinformation from various agents, promises to pick up the packages etc, they seem utterly incapable of driving to a home and put packages on the truck to go back to a sender. Each individual at UPS, whether at the national 1-800 number or locally had no good explanation other than "it should have been done" or "they told you misinformation" or "we will get it taken care of" which they didn't for each of 6 straight days. Absolutely pathetic service. Please use any delivery method other than UPS. Next time I will strap packages to a mule...will certainly be faster and more efficient. Yes, I am beyond frustrated. The next morning I received an update that my Sure Post has been changed to deliver to the post office. I contacted UPS and they told me that who or where in UPS had or why my delivery was changed. So I wasted the time and effort using My Choice. Even though the charge is $3.50 a package the post office told me that the UPS will still divert packages to the post office instead of the requested home delivery. I shipped some machined hardware per UPS specifications. Our client received the hardware and rejected it due to damage in shipping. We filed a claim with UPS, Claims Processing Center. We were told payment of the claim was approved twice. Now they say they will only pay 20 percent of the claim because the "UPS" driver did not sign for the package when they picked it up. They also said they can't identify the driver even though the package was scanned in when it was picked up. Again the package was delivered to our customer. We had to expedite the remake of the parts and most likely have lost business with this failure. The 20 percent payment on the claim is an insult. We will do everything in our power to not use UPS again. I hope others that read this will do the same. Caveat emptor.

My complaint is with the package delivery service that delivers almost 100% of all packages when a product is purchased: The UPS/United Parcel Service package delivery drivers are the culprits! I get quite a lot of UPS packages delivered, sometimes twice a week. They always THROW the packages they deliver either down on the floor near the door or up against a wall or up against the opposite side of the hallway across on the other side of the customer's door, instead of knocking on the door and allowing the customer to receive the package before they RUN AWAY!!!
The next best thing is to just place the package in front or to the side of the door, just placing the package down in front of the customer's door, knock and then leave. The driver who delivered a package to me at 2:57 PM today, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 threw the package so hard up against my door until if I had not been expecting the package because of knowing it was to be delivered today, it would've frightened me almost half to death! The package hit my door so hard if I hadn't known better, I may have erroneously thought someone was trying to break into my apartment. As usual, by the time I got to the door, the driver, as usual, had fled the scene, running for the elevator.
I have seen them do the same to other tenants in my building sometimes, when I happen to either be on the elevator or waiting for the elevator and one of those always-in-a-hurry UPS workers are delivering a package, I've actually seen them throwing the customer's package from inside the elevator or in other cases I've seen them as they get off the elevator and then throw the package towards the tenant's apartment door. This is absurd and is very bad business. It happens all the time and UPS should be ashamed to allow this to keep occurring. I know that they must rush and hurry because it is the manner of UPS to cause their drivers to hurry up all the time and I think the drivers are afraid to take the necessary time to make a professional delivery. SAD!

There was no way to redirect the package - this took a long time for them to confirm as they kept flipping back and forth about this detail. In addition, I was told that I would receive a refund but upon returning the my original UPS shipping office, I was told that a refund would not be an option. Ordered a computer part from the US (CA), shipped to BC, Canada. The item was $199.00 USD, and UPS wanted to charge $98.97 CAD to deliver! When I phoned UPS customer service and asked why, they said it is based on the value of the item. So I asked why it is 50% and the agent skirted around the question and tried to justify their charges and tried to tell me it was being collected for the Canadian government. She wouldn’t tell me the % rate they are charging. Also tried to say it was shipped COD by the seller, which it was not. Unbelievable. I will be rejecting the shipment unfortunately.

They deliver boxes. That's it. Their drivers, however, are only interested in padding their delivery attempt statistics because two thirds of the time I am awaiting a UPS delivery - they make me wait around all day and NEVER actually knock on the door or make any effort to actually let me know they're at my door with my box. What they do is write in advance the "delivery notice" and simply walk up to the door, stick the pre-written delivery notice on the door and then drive away.
Then, when you go outside and see that all they've done is stick the deliver notice to the door and drive away so they can do that maybe 30 times in a hour or two. It pads their stats because delivering the box isn't enough. They must find their power somewhere and they do it like I just described. Then when you call to complain, you talk to somebody in the Philippines who is too far away to care, help, or anything and they just tell you whatever you want to hear to get you off the phone because they have stats to protect too. It's never about the actual customer with UPS. They're the absolute worst delivery company on the planet. Not even an exaggeration. They cause people so much stress and all they have to do is drop boxes off at addresses. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Then after an hour, I got an email from UPS stating that the package is not correct for the item being shipped. How can that be? They didn't even come to check it out. This package was well packed and it was originally from the manufacturer. There were several reinforcing cardboard that was in the box. Now I could not get a claim even if it is insured. Just because I'm a lowly citizen, UPS does not care as long as they get your money. I hope everyone goes to FedEx.

Later that morning they changed the delivery time to the am of the delivery day. I am not home to sign for the item and they will not make another attempt to delivery for reasons that are still not clear. What is the purpose of their My Choice website if they are not coordinating with it. So now I have to be here on Monday to hopefully get the package. This is not the first issue I have had with them. They need to allow deliveries to their stores like FedEx does.

I swear it's like a guessing game with them. The tracker they provide says that they transferred my package over to Post Office, but the Post Office hasn't even touched the package according to them. So my question is: why is the tracker updated to say that the Post Office received it? And my other question is: where the heck is my package? It's been almost 2 weeks now since I was supposed to receive my package and I am nowhere closer to getting it. Case openings don't seem to do anything, nobody wants to take responsibility for it, and UPS is infamously a horrible parcel company. If I had any other option for my delivery, I would take a road trip across the U.S. to get the darn package myself as opposed to dealing with UPS again.

I ordered a box of the diapers my infant needs on February 12th with two-day delivery. We had some mostly-melted snow in Seattle at that point - schools were back in session - but there was a weather-related delivery exemption for the scheduled February 14th delivery, followed by another exemption on the 15th. Then, the next week, the package delivery estimate was updated to Tuesday, February 19th between 3:30-7:30 PM. There was an update that it was on the delivery truck in the morning and then, late that night, after no package had arrived, the delivery estimate was updated to Wednesday, February 20th from 3:30-7:30 PM. The same thing happened again: update that it's on the truck, followed by late-night delivery change to Thursday.
On Thursday, the same thing happened, but around 5:30 PM, they changed the estimate to Friday. I called customer service at this point and explained that these changes had consequences and that it was urgent that we get the non-irritating diapers that day. I was told they sent an urgent message to the Georgetown UPS facility and that a representative from that facility would call me back by 6:39 PM. Come 9 pm, I still hadn't received the promised call, and instead got a bizarre update that there had been a delivery attempt and that the package was undeliverable at that address.
I checked the address and there were no issues. So I called customer service again. They apologized profusely and said they wrote a message to the facility clarifying that the address is correct and requesting a call. They promised I would receive a call by 10:00 AM Friday morning to verify the address and when my package would be delivered on Friday. Of course, come 10:30 AM on Friday, I still haven't received a call. So, I once again called customer service and all they can do is send another message to the Georgetown service center. They also tried to claim that these issues were due to weather, which makes no sense as the roads have been entirely clear for a week now. Then, they claimed it had to do with volume, which does not at all explain the daily changes when the package is already on the truck or the bizarre misunderstanding of a very clear street address.
In the meantime, I've had two-day deliveries - and same-day deliveries! - from FedEx and USPS with no problems this week, including on the only two days when there was snow or ice on the ground (10 days ago now.) Oh, and when I asked to speak directly with the facility or with someone who could address these ongoing issues, I was told the only way to contact the delivery center is with "automated messages" from customer service and the only way to contact the corporate higher-ups would be through a letter. What is going on with UPS, Seattle UPS especially???

Luckily someone goes out to check the mail daily otherwise you would not know you had a package. Some packages have sat outside overnight (very late delivery I presume). One large box was left directly in front of the door so I had to fight to get my screen door open not to mention the box was open, all contents exposed. Maybe they’re the cheapest to use which is why companies use them so frequently, it definitely shows in their performance.

I receive packages pretty frequently from Amazon, USPS and FedEx with literally ZERO issues at my apartment. I've lived here for more than 7 years so it's safe to say I am well experienced with receiving packages fairly easily. UPS is the ONLY service I'm continuously battling and wasting my money on. Every time I order something online it's never delivered nor is there ever even proof they tried to deliver (i.e those typical post it notes they have to explain why my package was undeliverable).
It's gotten to the point I've had to create an account with them just to be notified properly to track my packages, however, it's like clockwork I end up getting an email I have to pick up my package during "convenient hours" (i.e. Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm) at some access point 5 miles away from my office and they never let me change the access point for a more convenient location (like...closer to my office). If anyone is familiar with how LA traffic works you would know how inconvenient this is. Moving forward I will no longer even try to order anything online that uses UPS since they are literally USELESS. After this last issue (they've had my package hostage for 3 days now and still haven't dropped it off at an access point) I will do everything in my power to avoid them at all costs! Once again A COMPLETELY USELESS COMPANY!

Over the last few years, UPS shipping rates have increased 3 or 4 times faster than the FedEx or USPS (or even DHL) and their reliability in on-time delivery has plummeted. I think their record for my packages is about 60 percent on time deliveries. FedEx, on the other hand, is at 100 percent on time for me -- and they cost up to 40 percent less. UPS then tried to redeliver whilst I was away (and before the date arranged for re-delivery). Seeing that this had occurred on the tracking information I made two phone calls to confirm that delivery would take place as previously arranged and was told it would.
When the package was not delivered I used web chat to contact UPS. After eventually getting a live person to chat with I was then told that I would be passed to another department who after taking many details told me what I could already read on the tracking page and advised me that as they were in the US I would need to call the UK telephone number. Our driver requires security access for this delivery. We are attempting to obtain the access information. I can assure you this is not a gated community! Nor is there a security access problem reaching my front door. As a matter of fact, UPS delivered here yesterday without issue! So I can only assume this driver lied on his entry to either intentionally skip the delivery in order to make it back to his home base on time or discovered he missed the package and again intentionally lied so he didn’t have to turn around.
At 7:30pm I spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining the problem to the first customer service person who then put me in touch with a second tier customer service associate. I then spent an additional 26 minutes on the phone with that individual. He spent that time trying to reach someone, anyone who could assist and finally resorted to sending emails to supervisors explaining my problem. He also stated he would call me back. I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes and at 10:26pm called the customer service number again only to find out that the second tier associate left at 9pm and I would receive a call back by 10am tomorrow morning. The problem is I would be on a plane with no credit card to pay for hotels etc.
The only recourse I have now it to try to adjust my flight out because your UPS driver apparently wanted to get home and no one could be bothered to get this addressed! I couldn’t even inconvenience myself and drive to the place the package is spending the night because my area is the last to receive packages and was closed during the conversations with customer service. I have no doubt I will be on the phone tomorrow morning trying to get the package delivered so I can start my trip late. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!

Shipment containing five items was shipped Friday and was set to arrive on Monday, on Monday 3 items showed up. The delivery driver told me he was supposed to deliver 4 items that day and one the following day but he only received 3, he guessed the remaining 2 packages would be here the next day. We did have 2 cm of snow in some of the areas around but all roads were clear, I rode my motorcycle all week. The next day (Tuesday) the delivery guy showed up with one of my items, I told him I was getting annoyed as I have to be home to sign for the package, and now was going to have to wait around all day for the third package.
The tracking didn't help as it just told me it had arrived with the other 4 packages safely at the sorting facility 1 hr from my house, but that this one package has been delayed due to weather. They have no idea where my package is when I call and every day I wake to an email saying package scheduled for delivery tomorrow, then tomorrow comes and I receive the same email again saying wait around to sign for this package for one more day. I have rode to the sort facility and came across no road conditions that a motorcycle could not handle, but every time I call they just give me attitude and say they can't control the weather. I would be happy to accept their excuse if there was any possibility of a Severe Weather Delay, but this is just not possible.

I understood due to weather in the area there would be a delay. However, after checking every day for a week after, seeing the delivery details say it’s been loaded on the truck and will be delivered by the end of the day, 4 days in a row. I called and was assured it was on the truck today and would have it no later than 9:00pm. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised that it never showed up! Don’t purchase anything from any business if UPS is the only delivery option, you may never receive it!

So Disappointed. After a pallet was shipped from Springfield MA on 1/24/19 there was a slight delay due to weather. I get that. Tracking said we would receive package on 1/31/19 here in So. Calif. The product was much needed for our business. Sadly after calls everyday, I was promised delivery the next day and a phone call. No phone calls, No Deliveries. Every day nothing but promises. Now it's Feb. 5th. I was told they will call me tomorrow to set up a delivery for the following day the 7th. Holding package ransom is so sad. I wonder if I'll even get a call. UPS should just stick to delivering only Amazon Packages.

The UPS delivery person doesn't have keys to our building, so they leave a "Sorry we missed you" notice on the door. (Understandable.) BUT - this person puts multiple apartment numbers on the same ticket, so no one person can track down their packages (if they even *put* an apt # on the ticket, which half the time they don't). They also ignore "Hey, I'm home! Here's my number and I'll come downstairs to let you in" messages from tenants, not even attempting to contact them when they arrive and change the package online status to "missed delivery" before they even look.
The website won't let you re-route the package to a facility to be picked up until you've had at least one "missed attempt", unless you pay an additional $5-10 ON TOP OF having to drive to the other side of the city to pick up an item you already paid to be delivered to your door. And, to top it all off - if they DO happen to decide to leave the package, they record that it was signed for by "D R" (a.k.a. the freaking DOOR) and leave it outside in plain view and exposed to weather. I've already had one package stolen this way, and when I called customer service they denied any responsibility and told me I had to figure it out with the sender.
I've tried to create an account with them so that I could tailor my deliveries (preferred time so I'm not at work, route to a pickup location within 10min of my apartment instead of 40min away, notify me when the delivery truck is close), and nothing works. They ignore any preferences I have set up and instead provide nothing but negligence. Tldr: NEVER use this service.

My item was supposed to be delivered on February 1st 2019. I was then told due to severe weather in Plainfield Indiana it was being slightly delayed. I work in Plainfield Indiana and drove home from work today and we had 4 in of snow total. When I check the status later that day that it was supposed to be delivered it had now been moved to Monday February 4th. I called the customer service line to ask why it was not going to be delivered on Saturday February 2nd and was told it did not have time to get from Plainfield Indiana to the Indianapolis shipping office. To be clear the Indianapolis shipping office is also 20 minutes from where it is at in Plainfield Indiana.
I have unfortunately been forced to use UPS for several deliveries. What it is - the shipper's choice and not my own. They are easily the worst shipping company I have ever had to deal with. They have lost over the years three of my packages with no explanations and their customer service is completely unwilling to do anything to help you get a package in a timely manner. If your options are to have it delivered by UPS or a guy riding a bicycle across the country bed take the guy riding the bicycle. It might still take longer but I'm willing to guess unlike UPS he will care about your needs as a customer and get it to you as fast as he can. There is zero excuse for my package to sit 20 minutes from my house and for me to be told it can't be put on a truck and brought to me today or for me to be allowed to go pick it up.

He said there's nothing he can do until the package is delivered and he has no idea when that will be. I told him I should have used FedEx like I always do. I've had NO issues.
This is the first time I've shipped through UPS and it was a fail. The guy said it would have happened with any carrier I shipped with. Umm? It hasn't yet from FedEx. The guy said he'd call me back. I haven't heard from him so I called the UPS number. She didn't listen to me when I told her my package was sorted wrong. She gets my tracking number and then tells me, "Oh I am so sorry!" I asked, "Now what?" She said there's nothing she can do. I asked, "Well... Uhh... So I just sit here? Can you call someone or anything?" She said no but in her experience, it takes another business day. This was VERY important. I sat at work and cried. Still no word from the UPS store. I sit and wait.

I'm always home and they never actually make it to my door, don't ring the bell, don't knock and don't leave a slip. Later that afternoon, I get a notice that they couldn't get a signature so they couldn't leave it. My home was silent. I was sitting 20 feet from my door. There was not even an attempt to deliver it. Lies. I then spent the morning in the UPS site, Amazon site, my informed delivery site and on multiple phone calls trying to locate my package. I must receive it asap.
The only way I was able to manage to interact with real humans - was on Facebook. Yeah, I was forced to log into social media! They helpfully assured me UPS had transferred my package to the post office. (USPS) I called the closest office - they do not know where my package is. If I could give them a tracking #, DIFFERENT from the one I had - was done between UPS and USPS. Went back to social media and was able to receive the new special tracking number. YES!
But, NO. However, I am welcome to check back. I am unable to be home tomorrow. It needs a signature. No one is assisting me in any alternative actions I could take. I cannot just inform the post office I waive the signature. No info sheet, regarding delivery, was left for me. It is an important gift to be gifted Saturday morning. I am distressed. Today there will be no deliveries due to the harsh weather conditions - which I agree with and at the same time believe there should be a way to coordinate something. However, when there's a glitch, they seem to get caught up in their own internal processes instead of solving the problem as viewed by the customer. For example, I had a package that was being sent to be held for me at a regional UPS center because the shipper couldn't recognize my address. I also asked if it could be sent to a closer Walgreens for pickup rather than the UPS center. They said it could, and I said I'd let them know if I wanted to do that. A couple of days later, I saw via the tracking info that it was waiting for me at Walgreens. I never requested that, I simply asked if it was possible. If I hadn't proactively checked about it, it would have been returned after sitting there for a few days.

So I called UPS that night, told them of this whole dilemma, and the customer service rep after speaking to her supervisor, set a delivery for me the next day Tuesday Jan. 22, after 6 pm. Tuesday Jan. 22nd I came home around 5:45 pm, and waited all night for my package. No one showed. I once again called UPS, even more frustrated and told the customer service rep of both dilemmas. She confirmed there would be a guaranteed delivery the Thursday Jan. 24th after 4 pm.
Today-Jan. 24th. it is past 7 pm, and my package has still not arrived. I once again called UPS, spoke to another agent who told me my package was on hold and will not be delivered today. She could not give me information on the next delivery date as well, and said someone will be in touch the next morning. Now I am outraged, from Jan. 17th-Jan. 24th I have still not received my package when the original guaranteed delivery date was Jan. 17th. UPS has not put me as priority despite my huge inconvenience.

A little bit more expensive but they don't have a gorilla in the back who throws your boxes around and "accidentally breaks" your luggage and then some things are always "lost" forever. I've lost solid silver rodeo belt buckles and other expensive to replace items with the airport handling of checked baggage, that you pay for! There has been several phone calls, Better Business Bureau filings, and in-store attempts to address issues related to this inconvenience. Delivery interruptions occurred between 11/2018-1/2019, but was assured future issues would cease. However, the loss occurred and undue stress regarding these issues is NOT resolved to me, the paying customer. She discovered the package wasn't delivered and contacted the shipper. Then one week later, he dropped off the package picked up in error with a damage label on it. Next we went to FedEx and nearly fainted at the cost - over a hundred dollars to deliver the cookies. We went home and ate some cookies to comfort ourselves. Then we went to UPS. The price was reasonable, under $30, the delivery was slow but the cookies would arrive before Christmas. I am in the process of moving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Portland Oregon. Since I am not immediately sending furniture, etc, I am shipping several boxes with household items. I researched other less expensive methods such as Busfreighter but due to online pictures and reviews, I decided to go with the more expensive route, UPS, thinking my shipments would be handled with greater care. Unfortunately, my perception of UPS was wrong. Most of my boxes arrived tattered and torn... No better than the pictures submitted by users of Busfreighter. My shipments arrived over a 3 day period.
In one of the damaged boxes, I removed the bubble wrap from a pressure cooker to find it bashed in on one side. It was only $100 so I blew it off and discarded the box and contents. In another battered box, I found my stand up mixer ($200) snapped in half. The box had "packing peanuts on the bottom. The mixer wrapped in bubble wrap, other pots and pans (wrapped in bubble wrap), and air pillows at the top of the box.
At this time, I decided to take pictures, as recommended on the UPS site. The damaged mixer was the only claim I attempted to file. The online claims form on the UPS site would not allow me to proceed. UPS Customer service advised me I had to go to the UPS Store (shipping point) to file the claim. I contacted the store to learn the pictures would not suffice. I had to keep the box, contents, and wrapping material available for a UPS agent to inspect. I spent $1,111.82 with UPS to ship 11 boxes. UPS makes it virtually impossible to file a claim for damages and recover costs. I have equally as much to ship again. I will take my chances on the lesser expensive transport services.

I rate my experience with the UPS store 2392 NO STARS. I called the UPS store # 2392 located: 6366 Commerce Blvd Rohnert Park, CA 94928. Called at 4:55 pm January 22, 2019 Tuesday. Spoke with Manager ** over the phone. I asked for a price on printing three black and white sheets if I were to email her and have her print it for me. I was told from ** there’s a $2 computer charge and for however much the printing is. I was in disbelieved and had to reassured I was hearing it correctly and repeated it to her and she repeated back to me. After I had turned over to my significant other and told him “that’s ridiculous”, ** hung up on me.
I went to the store to confront such a rude employee in less than 10 minutes. I got to the store, saw how poor her customer services was with another customer by not providing any helpful insight and I ask the woman staff I like to speak to a manager and she said that she is the manager. Then I asked her why she hung up on me and her respond was “because you called me a name”. Confusion and frustration engulfed me, so I asked her “what name did I call you”.
Her rude and proud response, “you said I was ridiculous”. I was in disbelieve that because she ASSUMED I called her “ridiculous” she hung up on me and gave me such treatment all over her assumption. I explained to her that I was speaking to my significant other in the car in disbelief about the price and had told him the price is ridiculous but ** insisted and wanted to continue arguing with me in disagreement as if she was in the car with me and she knows for a fact I called her that name.
If businesses act out on their feelings based on an assumption without probable cause, they lose customers and eventually lose their business. UPS has lost my business because I do not deserve to be treated by ** with such rude behavior based on her assumption. That was extremely poor customer service. There was another staff working there at the time, a male staff at the shipping area. He witnessed the whole incident.
I have worked for FedEx Print Office for 6 years. I know and am familiar with the work that she does. I was a lead consultant and was in charge of production, customer services, inventory, and shipping and receiving. There’s is no excuses/reasons that’ll justify her rude behavior towards a customer who is wrongfully accused and therefore mistreated by **. Sadly, she is a manager at that center. It’s really disappointing to think that UPS employed someone like her. UPS needs to work on better training their employees on how to be better at problem solving when interacting with customers. It’s really a shame because this is my first horrible experience with UPS and it’ll be my last because I will do business with FedEx from now on. Please contact me if you have any questions and because I would really appreciate it if I can speak to someone above: **.
