Worst company ever! I live in Canada and order a lot worldwide. Recent orders:
1) Package coming from the EU, on the tracker they said Thursday, so I asked to work from home so I can be present during the delivery. Because apparently they started to leave the package to the doorstep ONLY since Covid... yeah... right... good excuse... So I was waiting, at 9AM the tracker said, out for delivery... then at 5 pm it changed to the next day...
Furious I called, I had a very nice lady (the only time) and I asked her to NOT leave the package on the doorstep, which she replied that the delivery man needs to leave a note to reprogram the delivery and change the address (if necessary). I said ok and thanked her (I also ask to leave an official complaint), the next day I received a message while I was at work, saying that my package was delivered... It was a 3.400$ equipment left on my doorstep outside where anybody could see it. When I came home, no package... Thank God a nice neighbour took my package to protect it. This is outrageous and using the Covid as an excuse to leave package on the doorstep... this is what this company do for years!
2) Other experience with a 4.700$ computer, they changed the delivery date, I called them to not let it on the front door, and the woman on the phone was acting a little bit like an ** (sorry) saying that it's not possible (blah blah blah) and that I should had left a note on my door (which was not possible, too late) and said that I should have known that... Like this is normal...
Anyway, I'll try to avoid this company as much as possible, even if I need to pay more and wait longer!

I do not know why should I give 1 star to these guys; they do not deserve it. This happened twice. UPS does not come to pick up the service and the status online says "pick up missed." I called for hours and I couldn't solve the problem. Last time I had a heavy item; I end up throwing it away and losing $120 I spend on the item and was not able to return because of UPS. The calls and connections are awful and they just don't try to give you a solution.

I am a recent college graduate trying to make ends meet by reselling products online. UPS' insurance claims is by far the most horrendous experience I've ever lived through and have been proven UPS truly does not care about their customers. I shipped out a like-new condition Microsoft Surface that's worth $4000 to an eBay customer. At the UPS store with my supplies and theirs, I spent over an hour properly packing this expensive computer and even had the kind assistance of the UPS workers to help me.
I ensure that there was absolutely no way this package could have been damaged: Styrofoam at least 5-inches thick all around, an absurd amount of bubble wrap and other fillers, a thick carboard box UPS provided me, and a nice amount of packing tape. When finished, the workers noticed the amount of time and detail to pack this perfectly and there was no area where you could push in the box and it didn't feel firm. I knew, and the UPS employees knew, I did an excellent job. I've been reselling products for years and have NEVER had an issue.
Upon delivery, my customer messages me letting me know that the cardboard box has a massive hole in it, as if it was impaled by a metal tube/sword/something! The UPS driver reported it was damaged upon arrival and they both took pictures of being able to see my computer screen cracked and ruined!! A $4000 touch screen computer having its screen shattered and sides dented. Unbelievable!!
UPS does not care about you nor will they provide compensation for the additional insurance you paid. They are awful, inconsiderate, and I advise you not to do business with them. FedEx and USPS is superior and would never screw you over as UPS would. This disaster happened two months ago and I have yet to receive any kind of compensation. I paid over $2000 worth of insurance (and I wish I would have done more) in the worst case that this delivery goes bad. Well it did.
After waiting 6 weeks for a response from UPS' claim department, I was notified from the UPS store I shipped it from that the claim was rejected due to me being at fault for not packing it better. Either someone highly incompetent is responsible for the claim decision or their whole insurance segment is a scam. I had 0 flaws with my packing, had reassurance from the UPS workers, and the fact that there was a giant circular hole resulting from some kind impalement from their distribution warehouse which is not my fault completely deems UPS 100% responsible for their negligence of taking care of my package's transit to the customer and a complete lack of respect and care for their customers. I haven't even received the $180 spent for shipping. Nothing at all.
Please consider this advice as us being in a pandemic, at a time where hundreds of millions have been greatly affected for the worst have been fooled to believe we could trust UPS to do the right thing and stand by their mission statement of "offering excellence and value in all that we do." If they're not willing to do the right thing now and are willing to scam me and millions of other Americans when they have over $74 billion USD in revenue, what makes you think they will change? Save yourself and prevent your mental health from plummeting to an abyss. UPS is not for anyone.

Over the past few years, I have purchased items on line more than ever. Using Fed EX., US Postal Service, DHL, and United Parcel Service UPS. Well UPS, is by far the worst. Ordered 2nd day service to be received on Friday, the day before, Thurs. at 7am received confirmation, I would receive Friday. Well Thurs. at 7 pm, I was sent another e-mail, stating my package would be delivered Mon. No explanation, and don't bother sending an email, you won't get a response. Save yourself the hassle, use the other providers if you can.

I ordered a package and was told it would be here on a certain day. When it did not deliver I checked back and it said the next day. My package was then taken to a UPS pick up station. If I wanted to pick up my package rather than have it delivered I had the option to do that when I ordered it. I’m very upset and frustrated because due to my schedule I’m leaving town and will be unable to pick up my package in a timely manner because UPS is not open on Sundays.

How can anyone of your drivers be safe and 100% efficient if the most important part of their day it’s being talking to someone in their phone while doing their job? I call the driver to ask him something and he totally ignored me. Maybe he didn’t hear me because whoever he was talking to with the headphones in his ear didn’t let him hear me. I am not very happy with UPS lately, some of my boxes are open or broken and I think it is because this usual driver we have at ** North has other priorities instead of delivering good to its owner.

I paid for my products to be shipped overnight yet it's NEVER on time. 2, 3,4,5 days later. The last time I had a package delivered I didn't receive any info about the tracking until after it was delivered. I am sick and tired of paying outrageous shipping fees just for UPS to deliver the package whenever they feel is appropriate. This is not the first time I've had problems with UPS delivering packages on time. Thanks for ripping me off!

0 stars! I placed a single online order using UPS as the shipper. This is the first time I have had to do so. Customer service was on it every step of the way. Emailing me instructions, payment details and arrival times. Even verifying the address and my availability. Until delivery. I had to chase the driver out the door to give him the COD payment they requested. I now find out 2 months later the driver never remitted my payment. Rather than contact me by phone, email or text ups sat on my invoice without saying a word and sent it to collections. Resulting in my being sent a lovely collections notice. A company that can email me to make sure I'm avalible for drop off can't email me to track lost payment.
Do not use ups. I could forgive the delays and the billing confusion. But not the deliberate lack of communication. We could have settled this 8 weeks ago. Instead I now have to risk giving credit info to some scummy collection agent. Any future shipping that involves UPS will simply result in my cancellation of the order. And their customer service has been no help. First telling me that the collection was a mistake and I was paid in full. Then telling me to pay the collection agent. Do not use this service. They are a risk to your credit and will send you to collections without notice.

I live in an apartment above a business so I can't use the my choice to give them instructions I have to call them. First the driver has no idea where to go when I told them that the apartments was around the back of the building. Then even after he found the apartments he still wouldn't leave the package on the porch like I asked even though no signature was needed. He told his manager that he didn't feel comfortable leaving it because people were watching him. The people he is referring to is a tire shop next door that is owned by a ** man and had several other ** people working out there. The last few weeks I’ve been planning this move from NYC to Dallas. Y’all know me! I’m a researcher by nature. So after careful research I found the the most affordable way to move was to ship what I was keeping (clothes, shoes, accessories, and sentimental things) through UPS. Since it’s UPS , a well known company with a high standard for quality service I trusted this option. After shipping my belongings I paid a total of $1098 ($54 of which was supposed to be refunded two weeks ago and has yet to be refunded).
When my boxes arrived in Dallas the condition they were in was completely unacceptable. Boxes completely torn, dropped the the middle of the mail room with my personal belongings hanging out for anyone to see it take if they pleased. After reaching out to UPS countless times, speaking with countless reps, being placed on hold, transferred, and eventually disconnected at least 5 times I reached out via facebook hoping the basic standard of customer service would be upheld. I was sadly mistaken.
Apparently, due to Coronavirus they aren’t refunding shipping charges. Basically, this MAJOR companies that is probably worth BILLIONS can’t refund me (a NYC resident living off of an educator salary during the same pandemic) my $1000 for horrible and blasphemous service I received. I just seems odd to me that the chose a time like this, when individuals like myself are losing family members and loved left and right, Stressed with the ever changing pandemic (especially those of us who live in NYC) to take advantage of and essential rob customers who trust their service and reputation. I guess this is just another example of the little man getting the short end of the stick. Moving forward, I’ll be looking to businesses who can offer better service for my hard earned dollar.

Ordered a guitar for our son.. The company shipped through ups same day. UPS delivered ok until our package got to the Chelmsford Ma shipping center at which time we kept being told it would arrive in one more business day.. This went on for a week at which point UPS tells us (after multiple calls and emails throughout the whole week) that our package mysteriously vanished and only the box was left. Now if I was a naive person I may believe a guitar could vanish out of nowhere but I'm not so I look for the most obvious answer.. UPS must hire thieves.
Hopefully their sticky fingered employees are worth the loss of paying customers and large contracts from corporate companies as I made sure to call the company that shipped our order and they informed me this isn't the first time a guitar they shipped through UPS has mysteriously vanished. The company will be cutting their contract with UPS and reshipping our order through FEDEX.. Honestly snail mail would be safer to use than these irresponsible thieves.

Or at least let me come pick it up?? It's not a Saturday delivery, so my package is literally sitting down the road from my house and I can't get it until Monday. Absolutely terrible company.
If it was out for delivery, why would it be delayed suddenly. Couldn't speak to a live person when calling Customer Service because they were "closed due to Coronavirus". I ordered a birthday present from Amazon which was shipped via UPS. Package shipped out on time and got to the local UPS facility within one day. For 9 consecutive days the tracking would say delivery scheduled today and then would cancel it and say delayed due to weather or emergency. It has literally been sunny every single day and there are no emergencies in this area. To further exacerbate the problem I called the main UPS number and they said someone from the local facility would call me back. This happened twice and I did not receive a call back.
I changed the order to pick up so that I can go get the package myself. I waited for a half an hour only to have the clerk inform me that they did not know where my package was and could not tell me when they would know where my package was. If you can ship items by USPS/FEDEX I would recommend it. A package was trying to be delivered to the office but everyone is working from home. Last delivery attempt was 5/22 and on 5/26 requested the package to be left at a UPS store (received email confirmation). No communication from them, had to call the UPS store who told me to call UPS general and give a number. This was on 6/1 and I was told they would find the package and have it delivered to the store (in reality it was being shipped back to TX) on 6/5 I received an email that the package was at the UPS Store to be picked up. Went and of course package was not there, third call to UPS and they did not tell me that the package was already in TX - told me I could file an inquiry and an email would be sent (never got an email) and had to call back.
Finally spoke to a representative in the Mpls department who basically said because they have so many packages, with the riots they couldn't keep track of all packages. The issue is that I received communication that showed that the package was OK and received - all that was needed is communication that there was a problem and I would've dealt with it.

Even though I have searched the access point through internet then I go to the access point at 7.15 PM the peoples over there they said they don’t have any information and maybe the driver has the items. This is so unprofessional. If they can’t deliver they have to keep the item at their access point. Even if it’s happens to FedEx, they will write the information on the InfoNotice when exactly they will attempted for redelivery. Also if they can't reach you you can collect the package from the local pickup point.
They really don’t care of the customers. The whole day I was waiting and after that I have driven like 54 minutes to go and comeback from the access point also have to wait for 15/20 minutes. They don’t right to hassle us. This is so unprofessional. And give me a lot of stress! So since Friday June 5th I have been lied to repeatedly by 4 different customer service reps, I am also a UPS My Choice member and have come to understand that this is also a very unreliable scam. So friday there was a delay in 7 packages I was supposed to receive delays are understandable but I called to explore my options being my orders were for business and need real information to serve my customers when I called I was told I could go on my choice and request a pickup and get it that day I was very happy, so I spent a couple hours trying to figure out how on their app. Once I did it I gave it some time and called to find out when I can pick up my package to only find out the rep I spoke to misled me and in no way could I pick up my package until Monday.
I was irate and spoke to someone else who ensured if I cancelled the pick up they would be delivered on Saturday so again taking their word I did so and as they said my packages were loaded on the truck for delivery and I was able to track the truck literally one street over from my residence but no delivery came. I spoke to another customer service rep who told me it should have came and it will so for the last 5 days it's been the same exact thing. I follow the delivery. It never gets made.
I no longer have access to the map on my choice most likely to my complaints but it gets better. I ended up realizing the fact that they are incapable of delivering my items so I will go back to self pickup. Being early in the day I figured it could get done so once again I contacted the most uninformed group of customer service reps or they are just deceitful but either way he actualy contacted the Windsor Locks CT customer center and made the requests for me then ensured I would be able to pick them up in an hour. I was like great and even though I've dealt with a lot as long as I will get my customers there packages it will be alright.
So I show up there 2 hours later and look like a fool and get told I won't be able to get my packages until friday 3 days later I was fuming but what could I do besides call a supervisor. So that's what I did and they did not care offered absolutley no solution except promised me they would get it ready for pickup on Thursday instead of Friday. Well guess what. Another blatant lie. No packages yet and now I can't even get an answer as to when.
I understand we are in some trying times and I would of understood the delays what I can't understand is the blatant lies by 4 customer service reps and one supervisor. I am a business owner and I would never provide that type of service. They claimed weather or emergency was reason but to anybody who knows that is a cop out. Emergencies are unexpected. No way for 6 days in a row an unexpected emergency happens on a truck that lands one street over every day. Their deliberate misinformation and false promises has made it clear that they are not in practice of good business and I will do my absolute best to never use them again. I'm sure many people have had great experience with them as I have up until now and it's because I never had to contact customer service once you do you will feel the same as me.

From there on they tried to deliver it 3x to the same un-deliverable address! Are they stupid?! If UPS can see the business moved, why go back 2 more times? I'm sure the business owner left his new address on the door! UPS TRIES absolutely NOTHING to find the receiver, who moved inside the same zip-code! I contacted the UPS agent who packed and shipped my 3 pound item for $53.97. He says there is nothing he can do and "You are lucky they haven't sent it back yet".
Then I talked to someone at UPS help line (finally got through on their tedious phone system) and gave them the old and new address and tracking#. It was decided to hold the package at the Main UPS site in Tuscon for the receiver to pick it up because for some weird reason UPS "can't" deliver the package to the new address....Seriously, the business owner/receiver didn't change their name, just the address.
I have been in contact almost daily with the receiver to update them on this fiasco. Oh, and try, just try to get in contact with a real person who speaks understandable English. It will take hours of your life with many "dropped calls". Fifteen days later the package is now 4 days "on hold" until the business/receiver decides to pick it up, which I highly doubt they will. (A 21 mile round-trip for the receiver) After 4 days UPS supposedly will send it back to me. I could have driven it myself over there, three times over, all 1050 miles or 17 hours. I called UPS to request a refund on the charge since they did not actually provide me with the service I had requested. I was routed through 3 different departments and spent over 40 minutes on the phone in order to get a $5 credit. I would like to say this is unusual but I have never had a good experience when I have had to call customer service, which is unfortunately a somewhat frequent occurrence. I will never use them to ship anything but cannot control what others use to ship items to me. A frustrating experience, as usual. If it was an option to give zero stars, I would.

Most frustrating experience ever dealing with this company. I received 3 separate out for delivery notifications for my package over a week and a half only to never receive it. Called to figure out what’s going on and was fed a line about 1-4 day delays. Demanded to speak to management as it had already been 10 days. They couldn’t even locate my package. She says she will get back to me, she did... 6 days later only to tell me that it’s now in my city but won’t be processed for another week. My package will be a month late by this point... if it ever even gets here. They were sure to charge me duty on my package weeks ago yet can’t be bothered to actually deliver it. Their staff is so condescending to deal with as well. Every other delivery company is managing to get packages delivered in a timely fashion. A month late is not ok.

In my neighborhood near Oakland, CA, UPS has developed a reputation for delivery hijinx. For a number of years, I have been receiving packages and delivery notifications via UPS and most times (90%) I receive an email notification that the package was delivered and signed for. While the package was simply left on the porch while I was at home (I work from home), there was no ringing of the doorbell, and certainly there was no signature. Where I come from, the email telling me that the package was signed for is considered a blatant lie.
A few months ago, I was alerted to a delivery to my home address the next day. The package did not arrive. The following day, I received notice that my package could be picked up the next day at my local Walgreens on the next day, a strange and unexpected twist, to which I dutifully drove on the day following the stated delivery date (at that time it wasn't urgent and I wanted to be sure I did not check too early), only to learn that the package had never arrived at the prescribed (by UPS, not me) Walgreens delivery point despite the UPS email telling me the package had actually been delivered to there!
The Walgreens delivery point clerk informed me that my experience was not uncommon at all, every day there were customer package pickups just like mine; apparently, sometimes the parcels got delivered to the other Walgreens in town and others simply were marked as delivered in the afternoon even though they weren't and then the driver would drop them off at 9 pm or first thing the next morning. Inexplicably, my package was to my residence (no doorbell or signature) the next day, which was 5 days after the original promised delivery date.
This saga of broken promises continues. The last 5 or more UPS deliveries have all been promised "tomorrow between xx a.m. - yy p.m. (generally midmorning to early afternoon)" and this would pass, the delivery would get pushed out to sometime before 9 pm or to "tomorrow..." again, and sometimes it has only been a one day delay and other times it carries on for multiple days. The key thing is that in all these cases, the parcel has made it to the local UPS depot (5 minutes from my house), and it has been indicated as being "out for delivery."
UPS is failing at its sole purpose, which is timely and trustworthy delivery. Given the "Fuel Surcharge" lie that they continue to perpetrate and charge us for, I do not believe anything. UPS says, and I have taken my business to the honest, trustworthy US Post Office or FedEx or the very good and cheaper regional delivery services.

The delivery driver and I had a miscommunication regarding his delivery. He is a difficult person to speak with. He is rude and condescending. Today, I received a notice that my package was delivered; however, I have not received a package. I tried to call UPS but you can't speak with a person. Even the 'chat' is run by a computer with a bunch of generated answers. I may have to receive some packages via UPS, but if I am able to choose, it surely will NOT be UPS.

It seems that 9 out of 10 packages that go through the UPS Las Vegas sorting center gets misrouted to my location. Not just packages to me or my business but to most of those in our area. Unable to get an answer as to why but it is really frustrating when you are expecting a package on Friday and it is misrouted on Thursday and you don't get it till Monday or Tuesday the following week. Where we live we depend on UPS for most of our shipping as we have a center locally and they are very good about handling our shipments. If UPS would look at the history of this issue they could see the issue we are struggling with. I don't normally complain but this really needs to be addressed. This has been going on for several years. This is not a shipper or end user problem. If someone could shed some light on this, that would be wonderful.

If you are shipping something fragile, don't use UPS. My mother passed away recently and I needed to ship some very old glass items from pa to FL. There was a total of 4 boxes all the same size, approximately 10x10x18. The items were all individually wrapped in bubble wrap. They were also taped securely. I affixed bright orange stickers stating fragile, handle with care on all sides of the boxes. When the boxes arrived in Florida they looked like they had been thrown around without any concern for the contents. All four boxes were damaged. We lost 2/3 of the contents of the boxes due to breakage. We lost irreplaceable memories of my mother due to outright negligence. I can't even begin to tell you the sorrow this company has caused us. So if you plan on shipping something fragile stay far away from UPS.

It keeps getting scanned every morning « parcel moving to destination » but I really feel like it means « parcel on a treadmill at the warehouse, currently moving but not moving in the same time » LOL. Customer service inexistent, no answers. Kinda frustrating since the parcel is something like 9 km from home.
Amazon and FedEx seem to deliver in time, I received everything I ordered in the delays. I know that period is hard for everyone but we are all expecting staff to work from home, medical devices, AC systems, and other. What I disrespect is not the delays, it’s the lack of listening, willing to find solution and, above all, lying on tracking experience. All three package deliveries were the same. Tried calling... They want you to use the virtual assistant... What a joke that is, never got to a real person. It always told me they were unavailable. Wouldn't UPS want the biggest and best pictures? No, they want to make it as difficult and painstaking as possible. Worst experience. I would like to tell you my bad experience on 5/1/20. Physician order for a specimen for company that had to go out that day. I called on 5/1/20 at 3:20pm. Spoke with a gentlemen from UPS about pickup on this specimen. He knew right away that the lab and company that this specimen had to go out today. He gave me the times between 3:30pm-5:00pm. About 4:07 pm a young lady from UPS said there would be no way the driver would be there at 5pm. So she said the driver would come after 5pm and would I be around. I replied yes. So I waited with no call or driver coming. I called back being worried that this lab could not sit.
So I spoke with a young female lady with a heavy accent at 6:44pm explaining there was no one to pick up my specimen. So she was all confused had the wrong name for my phone and specimen. She had my roommate name. I asked her, "How did you get that name?" And I told her that was my roommate name. So she said, "Let me check my records." She told me that the young man I spoke with at 3:20 pm just put my roommate on there because he did previous transactions so the UPS guy just put his name on it. So she put my correct name on it and put me on hold to speak with a dispatcher. When she came back to the phone she said the dispatcher would call me within hour. At that time it was 7:00pm. So I called her back because no dispatcher had called me.
I called back at 7:16 pm. Spoke with the same lady with the heavy accent and she informed me this time a UPS driver came by my house and attempted pick up. So it would be picked up the next day Saturday. I told her she was not telling the truth because I was sitting on my balcony and no UPS driver came up. Plus she told me the dispatcher would call me within an hour so how could a driver try to attempt to leave it when I just spoke with her and she said the dispatcher would call me in hour. Also asked her since she said the next day on Saturday what time. She just kept saying the morning. So I asked her the 2nd time, "What time in the morning?" And she said with attitude, "Let me look." And she informed me about 9am-12pm on Saturday with bad attitude.
This person does not need to work in customer service. The lady I spoke with at 6:44pm and 7:16pm she is very unprofessional, has a bad attitude, and does not tell the truth. I spoke with a lady at 7:21pm from UPS. I asked her the names of the agents I spoke with. She replied the agent is a colleague of hers and would not disclose her name or ID. Also I had my roommate call UPS back to see if I could speak to a manager. The Asian male who answered the phone put him on hold and put him back in the order to wait for a customer service rep. We never got to talk to a manager each time we called. So the dispatcher ** male calls me 8:41 pm on Friday. Now this is past UPS pick up. And tell me this lame story that the driver attempted to pick up my package at my address but there was no apartment number on the address.
For one the way my address is set up you would come down my block which he didn't because I was also on the balcony. 2nd the tracking that I gave to every agent I spoke with several times repeated the apartment number. So that was a lie. Many dishonest people that I spoke with at UPS that won't even tell the truth.
Also this ** male said he would make sure my package get picked up the next day Saturday from 9am-12pm. Which he never called me on Saturday to see if it was picked up. I called Saturday morning at 9:12 am. Spoke with a lady with accent and she confirmed the lab would be picked up. Never happened. No pick up, and no phone call follow up so I had to take it to the drop off station. What is the sense for a pick up? This is the worst experience I ever had with UPS and this was important because this was a Physician order that was going to a lab for testing and it had to go on that day. I wish I could give zero minus. Some of these people that I spoke with should not be working.

I would give them a lower rating but their drivers are the best of all of them! Just the same I have not met a Canadian that does not literally loathe them! Especially if they order a lot from the US like I do. I had a potential court case with them once after they changed the invoice for a tool I had bought on eBay for $30 to $500 then wanted a hundred and twenty or so in fees. The seller sent me the another copy of the original shipping receipt showing what he had written when he left the place. That was another long winded nightmare to get my package released and duties paid on the 30 dollars I had paid instead of the $500 they made up. Most though would just pay the fee because they are in a hurry and I am sure they know that. I was too but since it was criminal, just on principle I had to fight it. About a week if I remember to get that straightened out.
One time they were charging me two hundred dollars for duties owing on my own stuff that I was getting shipped back to Canada from a show I had in New York. They insisted that I pay before they would deliver it and that they would send me the papers right away so I could apply to get the money back. I asked for her name or some kind of reference and she would not give me anything. The package came, papers never came but by the time I noticed it was too late. Neat trick I thought after all most people these days are as busy as I am.
Another time the day after a shipper dropped off my package and I had paid him they called me demanding payment. I told them I paid the driver. That only took about a half hour online to find a real person. Then another half hour of explaining to her and getting her to find some evidence... which I believe she eventually found. Now of course I have to very clear and keep every record and receipt of theirs on hand in case they try to double dip me or pull some other suspicious activity.
Just today they they sent me a recorded phone message saying they will no longer let the drivers take payment and I had to go to their site to make payment so they can deliver it. Then said to use the 80 digit tracking number and started to read it out. Course I was up a high ladder drinking a beer and hooking up some electrical wires. So had to scramble down hitting repeat on the message until I could find a pen and pile of paper to write it down. The site said I could pay the drivers or pay there online. I opted to pay online because the package has been taking forever and they said they were holding it until I paid.
I paid then when I tried to print the receipt it printed just the page and none of the receipt numbers!!! Another half hour of fighting trying to figure out how to get that receipt printed off. Gave up and took pics with my camera. Of course the receipt pages was three sheets long.... Now I might add I am very versed at dealing online. I have built and operate a half dozen websites, I have over a hundred online accounts and buy most of what I need online at least to the tune of 2k a month anyway.
I even went as far as no longer dealing with one of my favorite US companies because they only shipped UPS. I order thousands of dollars worth of stuff online each year and nothing makes my day more than finding out they don't use UPS!!! My advice is you have a choice make the right one.... but if you live in Canada you likely already know that.

IMO, UPS is scamming their customers into paying for services they cannot provide. What I don't understand about UPS, is that while they claim they cannot offer and service guarantees (Suspension of Service Guarantee, per their website notice), they are still charging for a variety of services: Standard, Expedited, Express, etc. None of that matters, as they are unable to provide delivery times or tracking information.
I have given them the benefit of the doubt for the last 2 shipments arranged between the US and Canada, but as of this morning, the tracking information claims, "Your package has been delayed due to events beyond our control. We're adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible", without any new delivery information (was originally yesterday, then today, then tomorrow, now unknown). UPS - you should be charging flat rates and delivery service is luck of the draw. Then, your customers (tenuous at best), can manage expectations. Shameful performance UPS.

They charged me $142 CDN import charges without even notifying me, (if I didn't track the packages, I would have never known) and even after that, it took an EXTRA 4 days to receive them, totaling 8. Every time I would consult their web site, "out for delivery" then "unknown information" then out again. They have been taking my stuff for drives in town for 4 days. With six people locked in a house, we watched the front door for a UPS delivery. One came. It was a cutting board recently ordered. A webcam was also ordered. Tracking said it was delivered at the same time as the Cutting Board. It was not. Ebay closed the case because "tracking" said it was delivered. UPS "Customer Service" resources both phone and web redirect you to the same ID Tracking number to tell you it was delivered. The recording also said because of the Pandemic - Lost Package support (telephone support) is not available right now. Too bad so sad.
Ebay thinks I am stealing. UPS is in Hiding. I am out $50 and my wife who is trying to remote teach, and still does not have the webcam to do so. So now I will head to Walmart to buy what I can off the shelf. In my experience, UPS does not have sufficient customer support to responsibly rectify legitimate claims or issues for the services that are being purchased. They are hiding true support portals by limiting or eliminating Customer Interaction with their employees.
The contact telephone number is buried, which doesn't offer any assistance but referral to the website which gives no recourse. The Facebook phone number gives a reference to the website number and option 1, which doesn't work. It ignores your input and times out with a hang up. I know times are tough. I know workload is high. But this is when phone support is needed most. We are people, not numbers. I don't want something for nothing. I just want to know what happened, and someone "somebody" at UPS to care enough to check.

The boxes contained a variety of items: clothing, small decorative pieces, shoes, books, etc. Both boxes were packed using bubble wrap, packing materials, etc. Smaller items were placed in cardboard boxes and places in between other items. Boxes were taken to a UPS shipping store to be taped and shipped. Boxes were dropped off on a Saturday and the tracking # indicated delivery to a residential address on Wed, Thur the latest. Wed came and no box arrived. Tracking # provided no information so I contacted the store in NY where they were shipped from. I was told there was no shipping information and call back on Friday which I did. I was told that 1 box was shipped but the second box was still at the store. Not sure why both boxes were not shipped together since I paid for 2 boxes to be shipped to the same address.
Subsequent calls to the UPS store in NY, emails to UPS corporate revealed that: both boxes were not shipped together (1 box sat in the NY UPS store for several days without an explanation to myself, 1 box was shipped to a UPS holding facility in MI (I never requested that)). The driver arrived and would not take the package because it did not have a label. I told him I was told that he would provide one for me to fill out. Driver told me that they do not supply any labels and they do not accept anything handwritten. (The package needed to be at its arrival location next day.) I immediately contacted UPS by phone. I was told sorry, but it was too late to be picked up for next day delivery. The pickup was scheduled for the previous day and that the driver would have a label. For the second time I repeated what the driver had told me about a label. She said she would make sure the driver had a label for me.
Driver arrived this morning and again refused to take my package due to it not having a label and that he did not have any label to attached to the package. It appears that there is a very big issue with procedures. I really suggest that some training be done. I would like to make a complaint regarding UPS account executive ** Edwin. I spoke with Edwin today on March 5th, 2020 and I asked him about the status of the disputed additional handling charges from October, November and December 2019 invoices. Edwin said he no longer had those invoices available and that he doesn't remember any disputed charges. Edwin called me in January asking me to pay $10,000 towards my invoice in which I immediately paid. He said that by the February invoice the 'disputed' additional handling charges will be removed from all 3 months of the invoices. Edwin forgot about our conversation. My regional account manager Carlos ** was aware that Edwin was handling this. Edwin completely forgot about these charges, and acted as if there was no issues at all, and just said my account was payable.
2nd Complaint: Today I received my 26th of February invoice number: **. I was overcharged for tracking numbers: **. I was charged 40KG per item, yet each packaged weighed 5KG, and measured 110 x 79 x 4 cm. The charges for the 2 packages are over $1300AUD. This is a complete error. I told Edwin about this issue, and he simply said the charges were payable. I wasn't happy with his reply and he eventually said that he will open a dispute. According to his previous dispute nothing happened at all, and I wasn't helped, which now leaves us $2000+ at loss and the whole situation is in limbo. I have been a UPS customer for almost 10 years, and I'm completely saddened by this service. I am in the process of opening up a DHL account because of this low quality of service. I had an envelope that needed to be sent to my son overnight. He is stationed at a military base in North Carolina. UPS posted on the tracking website that they needed the recipient's phone number to deliver the envelope to him. I called to give them his number. I was told that he was no longer at the address listed. I told them that he was indeed still at the military base. Then I was told that the military base had moved. I informed them that the military base had been in the same location for 78 years and houses nearly 45,000 people so I didn't think that was accurate. I requested (actually demanded) a supervisor. After quite the wait, the supervisor informed me that they don't deliver to military bases. This I know is an outright lie.
My only option was to have the envelope sent back to the store it originated from (not even to me directly) and that they were not able to overnight it back to me. Here we are 24 hours later, and it still is at the same place is was last night, just minutes away from my son, but unable to get to him. And they are not able to process a refund. Zero customer service. What happened to worldwide shipping? Military bases in North Carolina are not included? Unbelievable.

UPS has always been a reliable company. Never had a damaged package. I know some have had a bad experience with them but we are just human and we all have made some bad mistakes. But for a company that delivers all those packages they are on top of their game.

UPS constantly leaves my packages in front of my garage exposed to the elements when my protected porch is only steps away. They never press the door bell like other delivery companies do. The female drivers are worst.

You should tell your UPS drivers NOT to leave packages on the steps in front of the house, especially in urban areas. There is high theft in these areas; therefore, UPS drivers should be REQUIRED to leave packages in the backyard or in between the front and wooded/hard doors of private homes.
