Ordered bookshelves and they came. UPS left on my steps with no notice (knock on door, ring doorbell, nothing). Problem was boxes were torn up, pieces missing, would of sent back but they were gone and I had no chance.

I usually have the same delivery guy and he is super friendly and places my packages down unlike FedEx, who I've witnessed dropping or throwing packages on my step. I appreciate the care that UPS takes with my packages.

UPS has the best ETA. They’re prompt, & they handle my packages with care. We have the same delivery guy & he places our packages in a good hiding spot. Also, I love the fact that I can track the truck that my package is on. The map is very helpful. UPS is the way to go.

Delivery guys are efficient but the system in December totally sucks, I know they are overwhelmed but this is a time to figure out better ways. More truck, double routes whatever they need to do but only for a month they need to do it. I did not get a few packages that I ordered and the companies shipped with other and I got it next day and this also was an issue with returning things. UPS in Council Bluffs Iowa office is incompetent and rude. Backed up nonstop. Not friendly nor helpful.

A necessary evil. Does a decent job of shipping my goods to me but too many times packages are dented and tape torn. Also, too expensive for services rendered. However, I feel confident that my packages will always be delivered..

I didn't give the postal service a 5 because in some areas our mail goes two hours away and then comes back to our area. I use Soulsbyville, CA Post Office a lot and the customer services is always outstanding. I live in a rural area and the Post Office doesn't delivered to my house. They are only open from 9-11 am. Makes it hard to get stuff delivered there when you work.

Our postal carrier is very good about being careful with our packages. She even helped me reign in my unruly dog. USPS is not perfect, they sometimes put mail in the wrong mailboxes, but we sort it out.

UPS has no answers for packages that need a signature in order to be delivered. They deliver 8 am to 5 pm while most people are in school or at work. It's up the recipient to make arrangements to have a package delivered at another time or pick it up at a regional UPS hub. When you call to complain or get a new delivery time/day, you get "I know how you feel..." Unacceptable. At least Fedex and USPS will drop packages off to community-oriented places where you can go a short distance to sign and retrieve the package.

I paid for almost $180 for international express for shipping two small boxes of surgical masks. Based on what I checked on their web site and also was told at the counter, if I ship on Monday then the package should be delivered by Friday assuming no issue at the customer. Here is what happened: Instead of shipped directly from SF to China, they routed the package to AK, which got delayed 2 days for 'events beyond their control' without details, and then shipped to Korea before finally sent to China! The status clearly shows the customer was cleared smoothly without delay.
When I called asking for abandoning the package and issuing a refund, the agent told me the 'clearance agent' caused the delay and ignored my question about the unnecessary stops at AK and Korea and the significantly delay for the money I paid and the service I acquired. End up her solution was for me to contact the local UPS store where I shipped the package so they can better 'explain' to me. I've told my terrible experience to every friend. I also found a way more inexpensive carrier for international shipment. UPS is profitable because of bad practice but I think that should end some day.

We live in an apartment building. UPS delivers our packages inside, as opposed to FEDEX which leaves packages outside in the snow. UPS always delivers on time, and all items are always in great shape. Fedex, on the other hand, often destroys the packages. Why would anyone NOT use UPS? I love them. They are way better than the competition, including the US Postal Service.

They have so many drop off locations and very helpful in helping packaging the boxes when dropped off. Also, they are very on time when they give an estimate so I usually ship with them. The fact that they have a lot of drop off location helps me the most.

The carriers do a terrible job. Especially if we have to sign for it. My carrier drives a postal truck. Too lazy to get out and knock on the door. Chased her down once on a Saturday. She didn't come to the door. Said no one is ever home. Someone is almost always home and most people are home on Saturday.

The things I ship and receive always arrive on time. The tracking methods are easy to use and understand. The only issue for me is sometimes the cost is a bit high. I prefer to drop off and pick up. The customer service is always helpful and friendly.

I purchased a shower enclosure from Amazon which was delivered by UPS. The carton was over one hundred pounds and too large for me to bring inside me house. The driver was nice enough to place it inside my door. That's what I call unexpected service!

Although UPS is a major company, a chain is only as strong as the weakest link. Their weakest link, is conditions of the package when they reach my door. UPS customer service has told me numerous times that if my package is not satisfactory; then I have the option to refuse it. But, I would not order something that I don't need. If I refuse it, it goes back and I am without items that I need. I don't have my own transportation. So ordering my heavy-duty items online saves my back. Also I have had porch pirates get a box that was left unattended by them...

Sending a couple of packages of any size that is a bread box or bigger will feel like an extra bill to pay. It doesn't matter how far the packages are going the price will be $25.00 or more. And then, they have the nerve to charge extra during the holidays. There aren't a lot of other choices out there that are as close as this one. There should be a better way.

Usually they tell you when your package is set to arrive and it sometimes is a day late, unlike Amazon I get it before and they’ve never been late. With UPS I’ve never gotten it before they say, sometimes late!

It would be more customer-focused if the post offices could offer at no charge tape to reinforce packages or letters. Other than that, the company offers great services, price is neither affordable nor expensive. I now enjoy being able to get email alerts to the types of mail I'm receiving.

Nine out of ten times UPS is very good. Unfortunately there are a few drivers that just don't care and the package is not delivered with care. Every time I have dealt with customer service they have performed above and beyond. I would definitely recommend their service to someone else.

Since signing up for shipping notifications for every UPS delivered package I have never once been disappointed with the delivery time. In fact the notifications actually caught fraud on my credit card because I was notified of a delivery at my front door that wasn’t there. Someone had ordered fraudulently on my credit card and I was notified of a delivery from a company I hadn’t ordered from and the package wasn’t at my front door when I came home. The fraudsters had picked up the package before I got home. Because I found out this way I was eventually able to resolve it and the charge was reversed from my account.

UPS seems to care about your packages ensuring they arrive in the best condition possible. They knock or ring doorbell to alert you that your package has been delivered. Friendly and courteous service.

Not sure why it is but they are getting worse. Some companies I purchase from use UPS; I’ve noticed it appears they’re always late in shipping; multiple times, they want to charge you some sort of membership, when I’ve sent packages they are the highest priced, weird delays riddled for on time schedule. I prefer using USPS.

Seems pretty consistent with tracking information and considerate and consciously anxious and we're very happy with them all the times. We have never had a problem and never been afraid to answer the door and they always put things in a good place on the porch.

I think the service has went downhill in recent years. There is no quality of care when handling packages and on more than one occasion I either didnt receive it or it was thrown and the packaging was damaged. It’s hard trying to get someone in customer service most times and at times they have advised the item was delivered and it wasn’t received until the next day.

UPS allows easy flexibility on short notice. Twice, I had to change a delivery address, and their website and customer service make it easy. Packages are not just tossed to your door, and drivers are usually courteous.

I never had a issue when I got packages from UPS. The carrier was always polite. Never rude. He came at a good time - not too early or not too late. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know, I had to send something back to Amazon using UPS. The clerk was polite and respectful and I would recommend UPS to anyone.

Boxes are undamaged. They arrive when promised. UPS tends to be a bit more expensive in my experience, so unless the box is a big one, I use the Flat Rate boxes at the USPS PRIORITY. They arrive more quickly and can be very heavy/medium flat rate box can hold 5 pair of jeans (although box is bulging!). No extra charge!

I'm very happy when I know my package is being shipped UPS because the service is always superior. They are always polite and handle your package with care. Yesterday I was delivered a package at my address; the name was not me and I informed the driver that it had my address but it wasn't mine. If he hadn't knocked beforehand I would now have to return it to the store. It saved me a trip.

United Postal Service that I have had deliveries from have been very professional and polite. I have never had a problem with them at all. No matter how big or heavy the boxes are. (My son orders parts and other items for his trucks and machinery all the time.) They also send us a text message letting us know where the packages are in transit, when the packages will be delivered and also when it has been delivered. I will continue to use United Postal Service.

Greatly improved with the implementation of their tracking system. It is very nice to be able to know where even regular post packages are. They used to be absolutely horrible and unapologetic for losing parcels, they seem to have learned their lesson.

Items purchased and shipped through UPS always arrive on due date or earlier. The tracking information is always accurate, and I have never had a damaged parcel that was delivered by them. If I need to return an item, or ship one they have a store close to my home to drop it.

Honestly, my only issue is the cost to ship any item. I don’t know the internal details, or what it costs the company to ship, I just hate having to pay an extra $3+. Maybe I’m just cheap, which I am, but that’s probably the only thing negative I could say about any delivery company.

I love using the UPS because they are always on time and like it does not cost much to ship with them. The UPS always give a chance to track my product. Everyone on my road use UPS. They are constantly on my road and they are always available to us. I live in the country area and beside a daycare and beside some handicap people. They come every day on road. UPS doesn't compare with Amazon Prime for rapid deliveries. On Minimal occasions delivery to my porch was rough over the holidays. Regular delivery guys are great! Had one of 2 bottles properly encased with one being broken in the final area of destination but both were thrown out at that location. Never got satisfied explanation of expensive waste.

Unlike most shippers, the personnel at UPS really care about the services that they provide. They seem to go out of their way to ensure that you are satisfied with their service, from the clerks in their establishments to the drivers who deliver the packages.

Not speaking of my current driver but while living in Batesburg, SC the driver would stack packages in front of my door so that I could not open my door from inside. Even after taping a sign on the door requesting the driver to not place packages in front of the door but to place them to the side of porch. On several occasions I had to go out the backdoor in order to get to the packages at the front door. Thankfully the driver in Winnsboro is much more pleasant about where he places my packages.

I have had many packages, stuffed in my mailbox, they were way too big for the mailbox, but they were smashed in.. I have also had many deliveries that were put by my door, not under the eve but right on the sidewalk where it is pouring rain and getting soaked.

They are quick, the employees/drivers are very well mannered and because I’m a 70 year old lady they offer to bring the heavy stuff in and they Always leave the others inside of my screened in porch for weather and pilfers reasons. UPS is a shipper I mostly use for my personal shipments because the UPS Store also boxes my shipment and I don't need to worry about what my box needs to be or that my shipment will be broken. They handle it all. The boxes that come to my house are in good condition and don't appear to be manhandled or abused. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who ships.

They do an adequate job. Nothing that stands out. I have never had a package delivered late. They get the job done. When mailing off packages I usually stop off at their main office. The main office has people always there to help including taping it up.

I aways like UPS company for the reason if you are home and you go out to get your package from them they always respond By saying, "How is your day sir, or ma'am?" I think that is very courtesy of them and very respectful of them. Never ever had any problems with the UPS company. Every time did you deliver my package has it always put it right in front of the door or inside the door secure place. I think they're just amazing company. Pray I will continue doing business for them for as long as I live I guess.

I often packages that are damaged. Luckily no damage to the contents. I also have packages that are to be delivered one day (per tracking #) only later to receive a message that package was unable to be delivered due to an issue. I question USPS asking what the issue was, their response is that they are investigating the issue and will let me know the outcome but never receive a conclusion to that. I do receive package on later date. This occurs often.

Always get the delivery when promised. UPS store is convenient with great customer service. Prices are competitive. When given a choice of carriers, I usually select UPS. Other carriers have misdelivered packages to neighboring homes, or not delivered at all.

I order quite a variety of items online with the majority of them delivered by UPS. Shipments are always delivered on or before the estimated time. Packages arrive in good shape indicating careful handling whether it’s medical or industrial products. Packages are either placed in my mailbox or on the porch floor adjacent to my front door. Placement of these larger packages are always convenient to me to access but in the most obscure location from the street view.

My normal UPS carrier is especially careful with placing packages out of sight from the road and sheltered from the elements. He goes the extra step to see that I and my neighbors receive exemplary care of the packages once they reach him. I appreciate the more personal aspect of UPS in our little town and am always impressed with the fact that when UPS sends me info on when to expect the packages, they are almost always arriving when they were expected. It has always been said that the employee(s) does make a difference when representing a company.

They have damaged quite a few packages, packages have been delivered to wrong addresses and things have came way later than they were scheduled. My husband has also put in application after application to actually have a decent mailman and nothing.

Can't really complain about UPS service, but often wonder about the circuitous route that packages take to get from point A to point B. Sometimes in tracking packages it seems as though they have gone through points C, D, & E.

UPS has really been good to me. They are timely and I'm able to track them. In all the years I have been ordering, there was only one time that I had a bad experience. I had ordered some beauty products and the temperature was -40 degrees wind chill and everything exploded! I learned my lesson that if I'm going to order liquid or creamy products, it better be in the late spring /summer/early fall in North Dakota!

When using UPS the buyer will get their package in the best condition I've ever seen. Unlike the standard mailing companies which just cram your package in to your mailbox and don't care what happens, UPS will deliver it to your doorstep. If you have a pesky dog that tears everything up UPS will put it where the dog can't get it because UPS cares about you.

I purchased a item from Amazon and they assigned this particular delivery to UPS and they changed the address on the package to my old address. And after a couple of weeks of playing tag with customer service, I was able to retrieve my package from the main hub. They call themselves a customer delivery service. What a joke.

UPS has gone down lately on quality workers. Packages delivered incorrectly or thrown on doorsteps. Delivery is sometimes showing delivered but don't get until the next day. I will say that the stores are good packers but cost is too high.

I've used UPS to ship for as long as I can remember. They are inexpensive and reliable. There have been times when a package will receive some damage but I've found that most times the damage has been to the outside of the package. I've also had a package get lost but had insured it so I was able to get a replacement for it. Will continue to use UPS.

I've used UPS for many years now. Everything from store purchases to my medical supplies and shipping packages. Everything has always showed up when it was supposed to. I get accurate email notification and tracking and I've never had a damaged package. For my money these people are all aces, two thumbs up.

Misdelivered a pkg to me AND would NOT tell me where delivered. Had to go to FBI about a possible theft of a package in interstate commerce. Finally got my package but with some hassle. Not at all satisfied w/ UPS.

UPS has a great delivery model as they are able to deliver in the evenings and weekends and most likely on time. But they lack ability in waiting for someone to open the door when they knock or ring the bell to inform you of your delivery. They leave the package at your door and drive off immediately. Also, too many packages are left for thefts. I’m on a neighborhood app and it seems like almost weekly someone’s package is stolen.

I try to use UPS almost exclusively. Certainly when I am shipping. Their stores are conveniently located and they carry supplies there. Further they have far less wait time in line than other companies. And lastly, they don’t lose my stuff. Their tracking is accurate! If it says it’s in Pensacola, the dispatcher knows what truck. That’s very comforting.

We get our shipments daily from primarily UPS. The drivers are always very nice and courteous. For the volume they deal with, they rarely are late. Sometimes the packages look a bit distressed, but I have never had to file any kind of claim.

I live rural or out in the country. Where the mail is delivered by ATVs. Where they deliver our packages to other houses with our same address different street name. Where we get mail with a key in our box. But no box in locker. Once we open locked parcel.

UPS offers comparable shipping pricing. However, oftentimes when your package is delivered, it look as if it's been kicked around on a soccer field. Don't send fragile items, especially if not insured.

I was having trouble getting to my home to pick up a package I had to sign for. The driver went out of his way to meet up with me so the delivery wouldn’t be further delayed. Very excellent customer service.

I have had many packages delivered from UPS just in the last month. I have had mostly good experience with them. The only derogatory thing to say is that on a few occasions it was raining out and I was home with door open because I was notified that my packages were to be delivered. They didn't ring or knock on the door. They just left it next to the door in the rain not once but twice. Thank goodness my items were packed well so they were not damaged by the rain.

I remember years ago when there weren’t any UPS drop off offices, nearby in your neighborhood. I would always take a thirty minute drive to Mail a package. Today there’s shipping labels for you to print out and the drop off locations are conveniently located. They also have free pick up at your home.

I use UPS with my Amazon orders. They have always done a great job in getting my stuff to me on time. And their tracking information is really accurate. The only problem I had was when they put a package in my yard and my puppy tore it up. So, I need to contact them about leaving my packages outside of the yard. I think they do a great job, overall.

During the holiday season their days are exceptionally long, yet they will still let you know they have a child's gift for delivery, and will ask you where to put it so as not to spoil the surprise! I have purchased many items from Amazon and other retailers the past few months. Most of these items have been delivered by UPS. None of the packages have been broken. They have all been placed at my door (well, except two). A few times I met the driver and they were personable and professional. Our usual delivery driver is always happy and courteous when he drops off the packages. We have not experienced any issues with the shipment such as boxes/packages being torn or late. The driver has always greeted us when he has seen us in the yard and appears to be happy to be working as a delivery driver for UPS. They don't deliver until late at night, and, every time I receive a order from them, it's never on time when they say it's supposed to arrive. Bad company. We had several packages to send to south Carolina, so we sent one by UPS and one by USPS. We found UPS to be more cost effective. We sent the final two packages by UPS, not only was the staff friendly, professional, but they checked a couple different options on how to ship to try and save us as much money as possible, not to mention they remember who we were and there was a couple of weeks since we sent the first package. To me that goes a long way and they remembered what we were shipping. Who else does that in a town of 50,000 plus people, except our small town where we live, since we are just visiting. Fill out proof of delivery forms and don't deliver or pick up package. Filled out a form with a time that was later than than their punch out time. The driver was home never came to my home and the online proof of delivery form showed he was at my home 12 minutes after he checked out for the day. He had a 40 minute ride back to the depot so he just have been in two places at the same time.

Instead of them just putting them in your mailbox the mailman actually pulled up in my driveway and knocked on my door and handed them to me. Drivers seem to need help with carrying items over 15 pounds. I watched in horror. The delivery person struggling with trying to go so fast to get route done that she tried to carry more than she could handle and dropped and damaged a part that had to be replaced. I choose UPS over all of the other carriers for their quality service. I've used others before and gotten My package damaged. UPS's is far less likely to have your package damaged. Have had packages in unnoticeable places but always had a note explaining the situation and why it was done. Packages have always been delivered in good condition, even when on occasion we have ordered heavy or cumbersome. Pickups have always on time and pleasant to talk with the drivers. I have owned my own business for the past 17 years. I use UPS to ship almost everything. Over the last 2 years their priorities have changed. My shop closed on most days by 4. I am lucky if I receive my packages by closing and I am forced to sit in my shop and wait for my items which usually come 1 to 2 hours later. I have made three complaints and after the third I am now receiving my orders on time. I was told by an employee that the businesses were being shipped last and homes first..What! That makes no sense whatsoever. I actually had a lot of my items shipped to my home and I sometimes have to absorb the extra cost for doing so on top of taking several boxes to my shop and buying a dollie to do so. I am not sure what my next move is going to be. I am extremely dissatisfied with the current shipping system and feel I am forced by some of my companies to continue with them.

UPS processed a package I needed shipped overnight. The clerk assured me I could ship it for less and it would get there. She processed it then tossed it on their conveyor belt. She gave me my receipt. Found out in just a few days package never arrived. UPS lost my package with a check in it. I called UPS and they issued a “stop” on it. They lost my package, but required ME to go through the ordeal of opening the case on it! What a riot!! I had my receipt showing they had taken initial possession of that now lost parcel. So I write/ship another check only to find a few days later that UPS found the original package, ignored the “stop” they placed on the original package, delivered it and the second check got cashed. NEVER again UPS!!!! NEVER!!!

Their delivery times are almost always accurate, the price is reasonable considering their quality of service. Other shipping companies aren't at all reliable in terms of the shipment arriving when it is scheduled to. Tracking is easy with UPS, as well. It's so easy to get updated arrival times via email or text message. More than anything, it is good to know that UPS treats its employees well. My UPS driver delivers my packages to my front porch, other drivers just drop it over the fence. He also will text me when he leaves a pkg and puts it in a place not easily seen from the street. I've had Fedex sit it in the middle of the top step which can easily be seen from the street, on a busy street.

Our parcels are left on the side of the road in the rain, on top of the bank of mailboxes, In the outbound mail compartment or just wherever the carrier feels like putting them. It's unclear whether they actually have a key to our mailbox which is in a bank of several and I have asked more than once. Things are delivered well after 7 pm so they are left out on the side of the road vulnerable to theft also.

The UPS drivers really have to scramble to get their jobs done therefore when I see them coming I always try to greet them and make their job a little bit easier. They don’t have a lot of time at each stop and the easier the client can make it for them that much easier it is for them to do their job in a timely manner. I have not had one that hasn’t thanked me for being helpful therefore I recommend UPS drivers.

I can not really complain, I just wish they would knock on the door or ring the doorbell. I will be sitting in the house and the package has been delivered. One time it was a Laptop and that could have been stolen.

We use UPS frequently with great results. If we have a pick up scheduled they come on time and things are delivered according to the provided tracking. We will continue to use UPS for our shipping needs.

Very efficient service and timely deliveries. Most of the time packages are safely delivered. It is a convenient service. I would say they competitive with other companies in their ability to provide good service.

Only company I trust most of the time, (Dave for the Bay Area) this company is polite and professional. When I need information or to change something UPS is the easiest to deal with save for their new policy where they want you to pay for details about your shipping, which is more in line with the other companies and annoying. Which is why I dropped that area to 3 stars.

I like the convenience of using my own mailbox when shipping stuff. The staff at the local post office is always very helpful as well. My postal carrier is right on time every day. However buying stamps can be a pain in the **.

Never missed receiving a package by UPS in the ten plus years I have lived at this address. UPS in my area is more timely and accurate with deliveries than their competitors and appear to be more professional. I dread it when I am informed a certain item will be shipped with the other door delivery carrier due to their history of misdeliveries.

I had to go to the UPS store and they made the return easy for me and they were helpful with the package that I needed to return. They seem to be helpful when you need to get help out from them for your packages.

Drivers are always friendly. Emails are always helpful when tracking packages and notifications are helpful. When not home delivery stickers are very helpful. Usually if you leave a note with directions they respond in a helpful manner.

I have never had any trouble with UPS. Their delivery is quick, within a day or two. When I need something delivered there is always a place nearby. The package I send is usually delivered on time and the package is always in good condition. The people are courteous and informative when I have questions. They come rain or shine. I have no complaints.

UPS was our only primary shipping choice. This Logistics company damaged items that were packed professionally, but as also stole items from our customers. How does two packages out for delivery become missing before arriving to the customers home. Also, a package two of two and only one shows up.

We never know what to expect with the mail delivery. Sometimes they stuff into our community mailbox even if it is too large. If it is large they put it in the lower box but don't put the key in your box. So we all check the big boxes for each other.
