This is just absolute wickedness why is your service so bad. Why lie bout delivery when no delivery. When I call no one can help with anything no call back. Packages is ticked signature required but driver would sign delivered but not deliver. Who is Rel y75 that signed? Not me. Ups never came to my street I was following the my package on my choice and then tracking stopped and was marked delivered I stayed home today canceled all I had to do sitting my by window that faces my drive way and door no one came. I called a dozen times no help. This is a gift for my mother. Someone is to take it to her abroad and now there’s no chance. My day is absolutely ruined. This isn’t a cheap item in my package. This isn’t right.

For an expensive Amazon item I got Out for Delivery SMS messages for 2 successive days but got nothing; instead UPS said Rescheduled and Amazon said it was rescheduled upon my instructions to the carrier. However, I didn't have ANY instructions. I stayed home waiting for nothing. On the 3rd such notice, I responded "Is this real"?, resulting in my being Unsubscribed in their SMS systems. I am reporting this to Amazon as a Prime member.

My experience with the UPS Store in has been no less than professional. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in their job and in communicating with people. Mr. Kay ** and his team of guys have consistently been a source of information for me throughout the years. In a world where good customer service seems to be a thing of the past it's nice to know there is a place to go to receive excellent service on a consistent basis. And I might add a nice alternative to the Post Office. From stamps to shipping and everything else in between. I am a satisfied customer. Many thanks and much appreciation to Kay ** and his team.

Package was sent by UPS from GA to FL 5 days ago. Arrived at local hub 2 days ago and was scheduled for delivery. Then the delivery date mysteriously changed to the following week. Called USPS customer service which sounded like they were based out of India apparent by their thick accents and was told the shipper wanted the package delivered on a certain date. I called the shipper (Macy's) and they verified there was no such stipulation on the delivery. Called UPS back and spoke to a different thick accented individual and was told my package should be delivered that day. Well it wasn’t which didn't surprise me and when I checked the tracking the next morning it arrived in NJ.
Called UPS. They tried to then tell me the package was still en route and tried to make every excuse in the book until I said, "Look just admit the package was miss sorted and you don’t know where it is" which they finally did. Luckily it is insured so if it doesn’t show up by the next scheduled delivery date Macy will gladly replace or refund my money and UPS can choke on it.
I also asked that Macy's at least request a refund of shipping cost since UPS cannot deliver on time. I understand these things happen but to deal with three different customer service representatives I could barely understand due to their poor English and to be given multiple excuse and misinformation is inexcusable. UPS needs to up its game, base its customer service in America or at least hire representatives who can speak English.

We were returning a package from Amazon through UPS and had a horrible experience with UPS. 1) They were scheduled by Amazon to pick up the item on a certain day and we were told that UPS wanted someone to be home. 2) We were home all day, but no one knocked. They just left us a note that they came by. I called back and they said that they would not be coming back out to pick it up...they recommended that I track down a UPS driver or pay an extra fee to schedule a time. I was already paying $44 dollars to return the item.
3) Then I discovered that they were only willing to pick up 1 of the 3 boxes as Amazon had created only 1 label (by mistake). The UPS supervisor told me that I must have received the original shipment as 1 package (refused to believe that they had originally delivered the item as 3 packages). She was incredibly rude. At the very least, she should have acknowledged the issue between Amazon and UPS. 4) Amazon was very polite. They apologized for their mistake in printing the label and for the rudeness of UPS. At least someone apologized.

I shipped a package from Denver to Las Vegas on May 14th, 2021. After a week of tracking it, it kept saying, "on the way". It was supposedly sitting in Salt Lake City. By May, 28th the package had not arrived, After numerous calls and online requests, UPS "launched an investigation" to search for the package. If you call the UPS number you are routed to the Philippines and twice I talked to people that did not speak English well. I was "disconnected", but kept calling until someone understood me and I gave a description of the contents of the package. This person told me the package had been "lost" and started a claim. I was told to go to the store where I shipped the item.
I assume it will be a nightmare to try to get any insurance coverage for my package. This was a "one of a kind" item that could not be duplicated or replaced. After reading the multitude of reviews about theft at UPS.... I suspect my valuable package was not "lost." Hey, UPS.... Find my package and I will remove this review! I am watching to see if my item ends up for sale on eBay.

I started having issues with UPS over a decade ago when they would leave packages wherever unprotected by passersby or weather but now I live in an apartment and note that I am disabled. They have been instructed time and time again via whoever I order from that the driver needs to bring it down to my apartment because I am unable to especially with these enormous boxes that weigh a ton. When they've refused, I've asked them if they could please bring them to the store and my brother will pick them up with me and they say they will but they don't, they do a return to sender stating that I have refused the package. WTH would I do that when I need these things for crying out loud?! So it's been working somewhat since I've moved here in March after the first incident. What I need to do is once I get a tracking number, I call the company that I've ordered it from, they call UPS, they tell their driver they have to bring it to me.
Yesterday took the cake I am just livid!! They refused to bring it down! It's six stairs, it's an air conditioner, obviously I can't carry it! I request that they bring it to the store, sure no problem, we'll leave a hanger. Well hours later I go up because you have to go get your mail and whatnot anyways, no hanger anywhere, not even on the outside door. Now I'm really pissed! I called the company that I ordered it from, I missed them by like 20 minutes, they're closed now. I call UPS. They're of course closed. I called the company this morning but UPS is not open on weekends so they can't call them. I have to call back on Monday for crying out loud!!
I hate UPS. I really really do and the company gets complaints about UPS all the time and yet head office doesn't do anything about it. WTH not!? Oh and get this. I get an email saying that the item has been delivered. Where the heck is it. The company doesn't know either because it doesn't say anywhere on their tracking page. I said if it comes down to proof, there are cameras everywhere including the lobby. So if they say it was left here at the front door because that's where the email said it was then I can get property management to look at the video and see if there was indeed a package left by UPS. If they didn't leave a package, then those fellas are in big trouble. If they did leave a package then the video should show at some point somebody stealing said package. Now I wait until Monday...

I am shocked at how poor the customer service is at UPS. I had a package expedited to be and it has now been over a week, yet the package still hasn't arrived. The UPS website says there is a delay and gives no EST on delivery, yet it says it is in the city where I live. Calling UPS has been a nightmare. I had to call 3 times. Each time being told the delay is an issue out of their control. Finally, on the 4th call I was able to speak with a supervisor who explained the distribution centre is back up with packages and they have no idea when my package will be delivered. It is Shocking how an "issue out of their control" is that their location has too many packages to sort. No indication on an update, I had paid extra for expedited shipping and I had to call 4 times before I got more than a generic answer. A terrible system in place. Especially after a year in a pandemic. I can see why Amazon has an alternative shipping company they use.

Do not sign up for My Choice. I bought a few pieces of furniture and it was recommended by the seller to join My Choice to control the delivery date. I put a hold on all deliveries while away from the house for one week only to have the first piece of furniture left on my steps on day 1 of the hold. After 8 hrs, 6 different operators, 2 case numbers and 1 reference number, I got nowhere and was told that the remaining 2 packages would also be delivered to my steps. I was given 3 different reasons for this, my account wasn’t linking my address properly, I didn’t wait the full 48 hrs before placing the hold on my deliveries, and the seller had restricted my hold.
This was the same seller who recommended I use My Choice. The issue has yet to be resolved. The majority of the operators were extremely difficult to understand due to their accents and I was asked the same questions over and over. I was disconnected twice and told I would receive a call back which never happened. No one could find any of my case numbers and most could not even find my account. I truly hope the conversations were being recorded because the responses were so different and unbelievable and I hope UPS is aware of this.

I ordered sideboards for my truck to be shipped from the USA to Canada. When it arrived it looked like they forgot to use a parachute to drop it from the plane they used to transport it here. When it arrived the box was so crushed it had exploded open on both ends and in the middle. I complained to the driver and he said I should place a claim for the damage of the truck parts inside, but would do nothing else. When I went to place a claim on the damage UPS denied me because I have a automatic delivery signature for all deliveries from UPS. They said I have released them from any responsibilities due to this pre-existing signature. This company does not take care of responsibilities for their deliveries so I recommend removing any standing release you might have so they can avoid taking responsibility for the rotten service they provide, or better yet stop using them all together!!!

Apparently, there was a mistake and "I will get it before the end of the day". But tell me: How to trust UPS when you're not a company with 24h staff to receive parcel? They have our phone numbers, why not call when they arrive or 10 min. prior? Their opacity prevents us to see at what time the drivers deliver packages. Never got the code and the only think that was left by the driver was “left at parcel”. I even got the front office worker to roll the camera back. Guess what. He never bring the package in the front door. I made a claim on the 8th and UPS is giving me the run around. When I go online to check the claim, it is erased like I never made one. How about on the 11th I seen the same driver come and deliver more packages. Why did he have an open orange Nike box in his hand. When I came into see if it was my package be hurried up and jump in the truck and left.
Anyone who has ordered anything from Nike knows that your order is in the original orange box and that box is placed in a brown box. You never get your order in its original box. The thing that the driver seems to forget is the cameras in the office is everywhere and they can roll them back and see everything he has did from the day of delivery until the day he tried to drop off the open used package. I would hate to go up there and find out those was my shoes he threw in the office on the 11th. He had to leave that box up front with one of the ladies 'cause he ripped up the original ship box.

Absolutely awful. Paid $110 to ship through UPS Next Day Air a cake to my daughter for her 21st birthday. Spent two weeks researching the best way to package it and the best company to use for transporting it. I made the huge mistake of thinking that UPS would be the most reliable. I almost immediately got a notice that the package would be delayed. Notice included no explanation and no reason for this. There is no system for keeping track of exactly where the package is (I thought that was just a given these days after FedEx figured out how to do it back in the 90s). Rarely received updates. Customer service had absolutely no knowledge of anything related to the package. They couldn't even tell me what state it was in or whether it had ever left the UPS facility in my city (in MD) for its destination (in WI). Key phrase that they repeat over and over is that it is "delayed but in transit”.
Customer service had no concern whatsoever for the fact that the package was not delivered when it was guaranteed to be delivered. It is now two days later and the package is still delayed and customer service has no idea when or if it will ever be delivered. Truly awful customer service but I'm sure UPS is unconcerned because it is a large corporation and there is no way to hold it accountable. So I'll just keep posting this on as many websites as possible. I do NOT recommend that anyone use UPS for anything.

I had placed an order through Costco online and, received a delivery date of 9 Mar 21 and so I waited at home all day and then around 5:34pm I looked up the tracking number and it said the package had been delivered. Yet the package had not been delivered as I was at home waiting for the package and I have several Ring cameras watching my door and street. No UPS vehicle pulled up to or passed by my house. So I called Costco because at the time I was unaware of who was delivering as all the emails I received said Costco.
While on the phone with a very helpful Costco Rep. he was calling UPS and trying to find my package. After his waiting for a long period of time he finally was able to get information, I talked to him from about 5:30pm until about 6:30pm. He told me that UPS reps would call me and discuss why my package had not arrived yet. He also said that UPS said it would be about two hours before they called, and that their drivers could not come back out after 7:00pm. So after the call with Costco was over I waited and it was about two hours until I received a call from UPS.
Once I received the call from UPS they explained that their driver ACCIDENTALLY delivered my package to 207 Piccadilly Cir. as i didn't know where that address is they took the time to look it up and tell me, "Oh it's close to you." They told me I could go pick up the package from the address they made the mistake and delivered it to. I told them I was not going to go to a strangers house at about 7:45 and just walk up to their door. I would not appreciate that happening at my house so I won't do it to someone else, and it can be dangerous to do that if you don't know the person. I live in Texas and people own firearms to protect themselves and loved ones and property.
I told the UPS contact that they need to have their driver go back and get the package and they told me the Drivers cannot go back out after 7:00pm. They told me he would pick up the package on 10 Mar 21 and deliver it that day. So on the 10th I waited again and the package still did not arrive, so I called UPS again and gave them my thoughts on their unprofessionalism as I didn't not miss deliver my package. They did and all they had to do was send someone to get it the day before. After talking to the UPS rep for a while they Had the same Supervisor call me back and explain that my package was taken to a local UPS store and that they had called them and asked them to get the package ready so a driver could pick it up and deliver it to my location. But this did not happen as the local store told them that it was in the back with 350 other packages and was to be shipped back to McKinney the original spot that it was sent from the first attempt.
At that point they told me it would be delivered on the 11th. I said ok, but it needs to be the first delivery and I didn't care about their routes or issues making it happen. So I sit here on the 11th waiting for a package I hope will be delivered and yet once again it says my package may not be delivered until 9:00PM. Why do I have to wait until 9:00pm for UPS mistake and their unwillingness to make this situation right.
All they had to do was send a uniformed person to the wrong delivery address and I would have had my package and the poor lady at her address would not had to drive to a UPS store to get it redelivered. I in no way blame the Lady who originally received my package and don't blame her for taking it back to UPS as she probably felt the same as I did going to a strangers house to give the package back. It is the responsibility of a company who is in the business of delivery which means they are supposed to be professionals.
One of their mottos on their website says our fast just got faster, not true. Incompetence is what it is, the company's Sr. Executives need to take a look at all their operations and fix this system. As I have talked to many of my friends and associates and we all agree that UPS is not a good company and that they go out of their way to ensure they do not use them. If you think about using UPS you might want to think twice before making that decision if you want your package delivered accordingly. Now we have to wait and see if my Package actually gets delivered or not

Why??? Walmart and Fed-Ex didn't mess up! They then asked me to have Walmart file a claim. Walmart didn't lose anything. They thought I was crazy for asking, until I told them UPS said this. Apparently, UPS does this more often than we know. UPS, get your act together and own up to your mistake! I don't care that you messed up, but I DO care about the little respect you are giving this matter. Maybe $200 isn't a lot to you, but for the normal layperson, it is. Please feel free to check the case number yourself. You've done little-to-nothing to help me. No one follows up with me. It is me constantly, weekly, calling you and getting no resolution. I will not change this review until you make this right. However, according to your reviews, I don't think you care.

A minor complaint to UPS today about a driver throwing a 40lb package on my porch was met by Customer Service making excuses for why the driver might have done this. From the start Customer Service was defensive and unhelpful. One of the excuses that was given was, her own words, "The driver is a little guy, how could he throw a package on your porch." The reason the drivers don't care is because the whole company does not care. I am through with UPS. I will never use them again.

I called UPS and was told that they couldn't be bothered to take the item off the truck because it would be too much effort for them to do. I Offered to pick up the medication at the UPS location and UPS couldn't be bothered. As a result of not having the medication my mother in law a normally healthy person passed away as a result thanks a lot UPS! UPS is nothing but a bunch of dirtbags. We have three eBay stores. We used to have UPS as one of our three shipping options. Everything was good until they broke one of our shipments. We reimbursed our customer for their broken item and we went in the negative for this transaction. We filed a claim and after almost two months and many back and forth, and after spending time and money on the worst customer service helpline they denied our claim. I have followed all their shipping guidelines, and still they declined, this is unacceptable business. They are crooks... Don't trust them with your shipments. We have dropped them from all three of our stores. NO MORE UPS... PS: BTW they have the worst customer service support telephone system... This is crazy, I don't know how they are still in business!

We have been using UPS for most of our shipping items so far. But this incident has caused us to think whether we should use UPS anymore or not. This is very unfortunate that we have paid for a shipping label last week using UPS, and the package was never delivered on the right date. When we tried to buy a shipping label using our account, it gave us a choice for early delivery using the extra funds. And we choose that option to have the package delivered on February 27, 2021. And on that early morning, it showed the package was out for delivery. But unfortunately, it was never delivered on the delivery date. I just called the customer service rep to ask for a refund since we paid extra for early shipping. The representative never listened to my issue and never solved my problem. Then I have asked to talk to a supervisor, and she said no-one was available. And then transferred me to an automated system.
Just talked to Daniel at the billing. This is so messed up that UPS has canceled all refunds and still charging customers an extra fee to show customers that the package can be delivered early. Now after evaluating the whole scenario, we have decided not to use UPS anymore for our shipping services, unless we get the refund back from UPS. This is totally unacceptable. UPS has charged us two separate amounts (34.04 + 6.90), one for regular shipping and the next for early delivery. I will be complaining about this to BBB and to the corporate if, possible. This is totally unacceptable and bad business practice. How UPS is charging customers extra for early delivery if the service is suspended. At least that what the customer rep has told us. UPS never should have charged any extra for any kind of early delivery if that service is suspended. UPS never able to uphold their promise. I demand an explanation from UPS. Thank you (**).

Waiting for my item. Got tracking info. The item was to be shipped in 2 packages as it was large. UPS shows up and drops off one package. I ask the driver about the second one. He says 'This is all I got'. Tracking second one - 'no info available' now. Call to customer service - they say ‘wait’ and see ‘ - nonstop scripted response. I asked if in a local warehouse. They say it is. Asked for warehouse phone number where I could call and maybe pick up there. They say they have no number to that facility. This was more than a 500 $ item. I took off to be home for delivery. Maybe they decided to keep the item for themselves...

My issue began with ordering cinnamon rolls from a Michigan bakery on 2-10-21. I didn't get a definitive shipping confirmation from the bakery so I was not aware that my delivery would be attempted on 2-12-21 and was not informed that there was 2 separate packages to be delivered therefore wasn't watching for anything and missed the delivery. I am signed up for the UPS MyChoice service which is supposed to provide for some measure of customization or more detailed tracking assistance and have set my alerts to come through my phone as text messages. This is how I learned that a delivery attempt had been made and I went downstairs and retrieved the UPS InfoNotice tag to see when I could expect a redelivery, only to find out that my package had been taken to what they are calling an "Access Point" location.
I have several issues with this process, especially where this involves food because this will cause an additional delay and items could arrive in a spoiled state if proper handling precautions are NOT being taken at every step, but the biggest issue is this was done "automatically" and NOT AT MY REQUEST. I went through the MyChoice website to immediately schedule redelivery to the original address of request. I checked the website on 2-13-21 and noticed that the access point was still listed, so I called and spoke to a UPS rep to ensure that my package would be redelivered to my residence and Absolutely NOT the access location. She pushed it through and assured me that it would be redelivered to me on 2-15-21.
I also asked, whose decision was it to take my package to an access point for me to pickup since it was not something I chose, her response was "I don't know" and I said "that's not something I chose, I can't go and pick up anything and I DON'T WANT MY PACKAGES GOING TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION". As of 2-13-21, I'm expecting 1 pkg to be redelivered on 2-15-21. Of course bad weather hit and UPS changed the delivery date to 2-16-21. I was a little concerned but hoped 1 more day wouldn't cause a huge issue and I hoped that my item was being properly stored.
On 2-16-21, I was concerned that there could be another delay because the weather was still bad but the website wasn't noting any additional delays but did show an additional tracking number, so I called UPS again to double check and was assured that my delivery was in fact due to be delivered to my residence on 2-16-21. I also asked why there was another tracking number and if I was to look for 2 packages. The rep asked for both tracking numbers and told me to hold on while she checked. When she returned, she told me there was only 1 package and both numbers were in relation to that same package. We both concluded that perhaps a new tracking number had been generated because of the scheduled redelivery.
I received 1 package as expected on 2-16-21. Upon inspection of the package, half of my order was missing and I emailed the bakery on 2-17-21 (I tried to call, but no answer and no voice mail) only to be told there were 2 packages and they had confirmation of delivery. 1 to the original order address (me) and the other, the access point (where I distinctly told UPS on 2-13 and 2-16-21, that I did not want ANY of my packages to be). After several back and forth emails with the not too accommodating bakery, they claimed that it was UPS's responsibility to reimburse me for the half of the order I didn't receive ($84.00) and didn't want a redelivery of a food product that had been sitting for over 5 days at this point.
Since I hadn't had heard anything else from the bakery, I decided to contact UPS on 2-20-21 to verify if the bakery had contacted them. 1st) The UPS rep kept telling me there was a package still waiting at the access point and did I want to schedule a redelivery to which I replied "Absolutely NOT, this is food, that has apparently been sitting god knows where since 2-12-21 at a location that I didn't request, NO, I don't want it redelivered, please schedule it to be RETURNED to the sender". 2nd) She finally stated she would put in the request and kept telling me what could be done on MyChoice even after I had already informed her that I had been on MyChoice and had already double checked my profile to ensure that it stated NOTHING about authorizing my packages to be delivered anywhere but to my address.
After that, I inquired again, "who decided to take my package to a different location than I (the customer) requested?" She replied, "This is something that UPS has decided to do". I said " They are doing this despite customers asking them to?" She replied,Yes. I stated "That's ridiculous, I can understand if I made that request, but I didn't and I want to make a formal complaint". It took multiple statements to her about who I could contact to lodge a complaint before she finally claimed she would put it through and someone would contact me on Monday, 2-15-21. I also followed the call up with a DM on the UPS help page to no avail because they regurgitated the same thing as the rep in using MyChoice and that there was NO option to OPT OUT of them deciding to send my package to a location I didn't choose.
I am still fighting with the bakery for a resolution and I am going to continue reviewing UPS in a bad light as long as they think it's ok for them to decide where my packages should go without my input. What I don't understand is how your website can realistically rate them 4 out of 5 when on the first page of reviews there are only 5 people out of at least 30 that have given them 1 star and negative reviews all over the place? Your rating doesn't seem to be realistic or believable. I'm glad I took the time to read multiple, individual reviews because your assessment is extremely misleading.
UPS has been doing a horrible job especially since the pandemic, in a time when people need them the most. Their customer service processes is a complete joke and NON-EXISTENT and your site is supposed to assist consumers. It doesn't help us one bit to pump up a horrible service when they don't deserve it. This is not my 1st bad experience with UPS and sadly it mirrors other experiences mentioned in some of the reviews. It seems that UPS doesn't care and have become too big to care. Sadly this seems to be the way for a lot of companies' customer services. I am going to try and do what others are doing and steer clear of doing business with UPS and the companies that are going through them as much as possible. I hope businesses read these bad reviews and adjust accordingly.

My packages were never sent to Gibraltar Europe. Instead, 1 package was sent back to me extremely damaged, and the other is at the airport. I insured two packages of $500 worth of American Girl dolls and accessories (Christmas gifts) to Gibraltar in Nov 2020 UPS International Expedited for $455.80. After hundreds of calls and emails to find out why the package hadn't arrived despite tracking label changes to reflect Gibraltar EU not Gib UK, the package was stuck in Tamworth UK. We were told that there was no human being at the warehouse at Tamworth. The two packages possessed an address that indicated that the package was to be sent to Gibraltar EU, a British overseas territory with the corresponding zip code.
After several calls a day to UPS International Customer Service, UPS Customer Service, and UPS UK Customer Service, we were told different stories. The packages was at Luton Airport. The packages was en route to Gib EU. The packages were stuck in Tamworth, UK. On Dec 19th, we were told the packages were at the Luton Airport warehouse, and they were going to arrive to Gib EU on Dec 23rd. They never arrived. We called every other day after the 23rd to find out where the packages were. I was told that the packages were untrackable thus to fill out a claim. We were told the package was most likely lost. We filed a claim.
On January 4th, I was told over the phone that the packages were being returned to me. On Feb 16th, I was told that the packages had arrived. I went to pick up the packages. Only one had arrived, it was mangled. The contents were wrecked. I have pictures for proof. These are collector's items, and I was beyond surprised to see such significant damage. The second package is still missing. We have been in touch with UPS over 200 times. We have not received any response to our request for refund of damages and refund of shipping. We have written hundreds of emails, and receive no answers. I have all of the pictures and receipts for proof.
UPS has been unprofessional and unresponsive. We all have spent so many hours placed on hold over the phone. We have only received automated responses. All customer services representatives from around the world can not tell the complete story, truth, and do not possess the same information about the status of the packages. Nobody is taking any blame or action to rectify the various issues with the shipment, damages, and refund. Nobody responds to us with any answers to our questions and concerns. It is simply upsetting. We are exasperated. I just filed a complaint with the BBB.

I have packages shipped from Earth City Missouri on February 5 which have not been delivered as of February 20 due to claimed "adverse weather. Yesterday FedEx delivered a 31 lb package while UPS was still claiming it couldn't deliver.
Today I received a FedEx delivery that was shipped from California by truck 5 days ago. Yet today once again UPS claims they can't deliver due to adverse weather. I just had new furniture delivered by Matthias Brothers in a large box truck, but UPS can't deliver due to adverse weather! Of four UPS packages to be delivered this week, only one of three was actually delivered. I’m guessing with this type of record and your unwillingness to put in the extra effort to get everything back on schedule this is a company going out of business. With one key package to be delivered Wednesday, Feb 10, there was an emergency exception. It was loaded on a mystery truck Thursday with a new exception issued on it before 6 pm. Then next day (day three in Tulsa) another exception before 4 pm. Then, I get a message of “in transit” so it can sit more days. Why not honor your agreements and catch up over the weekend with weekend people? There are no weather emergencies listed on your websites for the Tulsa area or my other delivery area that indicate weather problems. Put in the zip codes, and see it yourself! It shows all clear!
This morning, I tracked down customer service by phone, not well advertised, and a lovely man could only empathize and tell me “You are on for Monday, Feb. 15!” Really? Because that’s President's Day, so you all may take the day off. Oh, and it might snow and ruin someone’s inability to prepare for Winter, which comes every year. He also said a distribution manager would call me back. Hahaha. Hasn’t happened! For comparison, my 3 of 3 FedEx packages were delivered on time or early. My experience with UPS has varied with where I was trying to ship to. Basically, if you live in a city and have easy access to the location they are on par with the other shipping companies. If there’s anything that will take an extra minute like a gate or a certain place to put the package, it will probably be left in the street or at a neighbor's. Then they can mark it delivered and get paid. It’s your fault you didn’t watch the sidewalk where they “delivered” your package.
If you happen to live in a remote area there’s no chance they will deliver you a package. They fall far behind the other shippers in rural areas. By rural I don’t mean small towns. That seems ok. I mean outside of town where almost no one else lives. It makes sense that these are harder deliveries. They shouldn’t accept shipments to places they don’t deliver though. I live very remotely. I have received 0% of packages since I moved here 9 years ago, out of maybe 45 packages. They used to hold the packages in town and I would drive 150 miles round trip to get them. With covid they don’t hold packages like that. About half get sent back to the shipper. Half disappear. My friend that works for UPS said they are at home with the driver or most likely in a dumpster. They get in trouble if too many packages aren’t delivered. They’ll lose their job sometimes. So they mark them delivered and put them in a dumpster somewhere.
It costs shippers a lot of money to use UPS now. They often won’t pay a claim because they say it’s delivered. This seems criminal to me but I’m told it’s business as usual in the covid era. I used to think UPS was pretty good. That was a long time ago. FedEx and OnTrack delivers almost every time. USPS is very reliable, but they are slow and rude.

UPS IS A COMPANY THAT SCAMS PEOPLE!!! Look up the online horror stories about UPS scamming before you ship another package if you use UPS. They need to be shut down. My story is only one of many. Yes all shipping companies lose or damage packages but how they handle it sets them apart and it’s what has made my mind up to NEVER use UPS AGAIN. I was basically lied to over and over and scammed just like many others.
My story starts when my package was diverted for some reason right before it made it to my house. UPS customer service told me it was held by the person I purchased it through. After hours of calling customer service multiple times to find out where my package was. I thought that’s weird I purchased it so how can they hold my package? So I contacted the person that sold me the product and shipped it to ask them. They said there is no way for them to hold a package. Which is what I figured. So I called my local UPS store to ask them. Well guess what they told me a seller can’t control the package because it is already sent. So I call UPS again for the third time after my package still hadn’t arrived the next day. All this has happened in just over 24 hours and two different delivery days where nothing came but was schedule to come.
Two days I cleared my schedule to be home for my package for hours. So now I’m waiting an additional four more days UPS assured me it was on its way to me. It wasn’t! The funny part was when it came to be delivery day three the package said delivered. But I was home all day I looked again thinking I missed it nope not there. So I call UPS customer service again and I got the same girl I spoke with the previous time that lied to me.
Now I have to tell you I know we are all working from home I understand but I’m calling a business customer service I shouldn’t be hearing music/ TV or kids screaming, two times I got just noise no hello thank you for calling UPS anything nope just nothing. I said hello and someone answered hello. How unprofessional and cheap do you have to be to run your customer service through employees that just don’t care and that’s the title of their job! I mean come on UPS! Customer service customer care? Does that ring a bell UPS? Nope! This company is in it to make the most they can off everyone they can!
The whole business is a scam. If you don’t believe me search the internet. Put in UPS fraud scam problems anything like that. I wish I had before. I’m 40 years old and always thought UPS was a good company but after my nightmare plus everything I’ve read online they are only a company to scam Americans out of money both the seller and purchaser. Their insurance is a huge scam too! Well to sum up the end of my story. I let the customer service person have it and I probably shouldn’t have but she did lie. It was her just reading from a screen.
The real person to blame would be UPS corporate and CEO David B! So my story escalades into what this customer service tells me next. My package was fraudulent! They sent it to Kansas! I live in Florida! Now I lost it. She tells me I have to call the UPS fraud department gives me their number I call and it’s a answering service. So I left a message. About an hour later I miss a call but my phone never rang. They left a message. It’s Todd with UPS fraud department. He tells me I have no rights to “my” package and he can’t say another word to me he can only talk to the seller who shipped the package! Okay wait so UPS is telling me I paid for a product the seller shipped it held it and now UPS is holding it because of fraud and I don’t get an explanation or a sorry once or maybe can we try to figure this out?
So now UPS has wasted my time, the seller, multiple customer service personnel for days and they benefit from it all because they get paid to scam people like this so you either have to pay to get your package again or just don’t get it. Either way UPS wins! The way that UPS handled my case was unbelievable! I left out a bunch of the story for reading sake also. So I contact my seller again to ask them to speak to UPS. They haven’t responded and honestly from what I read online and all of the UPS representatives I’ve had the displeasure of talking with I’m not going to ever see my package or my money I spent on it it’s all gone thanks to the biggest scam running UPS!
This is a common case with UPS and there are many more out there just like it. UPS is running a scam and needs to be shut down! The US Government needs to step in! I’m doing my part by letting consumers and the government and anyone that will listen know about my horrific experience with UPS! Please help shut down a company that is out to destroy people not help make this world a better place! UPS you asked what can brown do for me? Well I’ll answer with UPS brown can do absolutely nothing for me because your company is crap! What a fitting color for such a crappy company.
I can’t wait for the day UPS is shut down and no more! The CEO and all others having part in this crime against humanity need to be punished for their crimes. I mean a company that’s worldwide makes billions of dollars a year and can’t stand behind their service and denies any small claims made through a US Court even! I mean where is your pride for your country your company and yourself CEO of UPS David B.?

They claimed they would file a search for the package, but I never heard back from them. They required so much proof for a refund that it was easier to forget about it. My son received one pair of socks despite my having sent 14 items.
UPS is refusing to assist and make us whole. We have contacted the store, UPS and both claim they bear no responsibility and point back to the other. The position is that if items are stolen, even with the label changed to mark the contents as worth stealing and the almost empty box delivered, it is the responsibility of the consumer. I can't afford to replace the contents and have advised UPS exactly that.

Instead, they sent the package to a service point and never informed us. A day after the package was sent back to the sender!! Amazing service. For all those cases that it is their fault, they shouldn't get paid. That is the only way to make them take their business seriously.

Appalling service. Appalling service, or rather lack thereof. Item posted via a UK company to Cork, Ireland in time guaranteed Christmas delivery. No sign of item, no update on tracking reference. Inconsistent stories from staff when you eventually get through to someone. Promises of call-back within the hour that that are never honoured. When I called again to ask why I have waited for two responses, not received, I am told that the department is, already closed so the call would never have been forthcoming. I was told they do not have a section that deals with complaints and there are no senior staff in charge.
I shall be boycotting companies that deal with UPS in favour of those that use professional Couriers. This blatant disregard for clients and their customers is either a very arrogant move or a fast way to give the competition more business. It's now 11/01/2021. Still no tracking or delivery even though I've spent hours on the phone going round and round.

My package was paid for delivery within 2 days. These are important documents that needed to arrive before Dec 28. I chose UPS purely for this reason and the fact that they were the closest such service on a cold day, otherwise I could have used the post office. Since Dec 21, my package arrived at the Winnipeg UPS office and has not moved since. It is now Dec 30 and no one knows where my package is.
By 3:15pm I received none of these. I called the sending office who claimed they were not contacted and could only see exactly what I was seeing. They claimed they would call the head office and get back to me within an hour.
By 5pm I received no calls and no emails. I called back the head office and was told my package was clearly lost and they would open an investigation. In fact, oddly enough they claimed where I was calling was the very office that was the last to receive it. No supervisor was available to speak to me and the supervisor would call me back in 2 hours (7:30pm). Clearly this was unlikely and at that point the office would be closed so I would not have anyone to speak to. Upon pressing, the person claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but transferred me to a line no one picked up.
I called back and the next lady claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but hung up. I called back and the next guy claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but transferred me to a survey to say how wonderful he was when he did nothing and then the phone disconnected. I called again and this guy claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but transferred me to investigations. At least someone answered though it was just as unhelpful.
After speaking to investigations… they will investigate for 8 days. All updates and compensation will go to the sending office as the package was actually not sent in my name but in theirs - something no one told me. This is the same office that never called me back and could not be bothered. When asked how I would know the status, I was told I would just have to call the sending office every day. When asked how I would know if I am receiving my full compensation, I was told I would just have to trust or call the head office, tell them what I received and they could only tell me if it was the same but still could not say exactly what I should receive. I was told that as the shipper and the person raising the complaint, UPS set-up a system that does not entitle me to receive any updates or details. I will NEVER use UPS again and will NEVER recommend them to my worst enemy.

The dispute has been resolved to my complete satisfaction. I would suggest that UPS completely redesign their website. It is currently impossible to be adequately informed of the delivery status of its packages. The information is sometimes even wrong, as happened in my case. UPS employees work hard but they need better IT tools for customer service.

According to their own rules, UPS is supposed to make two attempts at parcel delivery in case no one is around. On their first try, UPS left a package on the front of my door, three feet from the sidewalk. The package was stolen. Afterwards, I tried to contact UPS, without success. Their client services department is a fiction. If I could give zero star, this is what I would do. This company is deceitful.

I ordered numerous items early in the month of December. All of the items being shipped through other companies arrived as scheduled or had moderate delays. However, I received updates on items when requested. The majority of the items shipped by UPS are delayed. I receive no updates about my items. It always states, "Check back tomorrow"; showing that they are just sitting in facilities for days. It's so disheartening and disappointing. I understand that there are massive delays due to increased shipping and the pandemic. However, if all of the other shipping companies can make an effort to provide service in a timely manner and at least make sure the customer is updated on their packages then so can UPS.
I have four packages I'm awaiting from UPS. All ordered early December, and none of which I can receive valid updates on. Check back tomorrow, estimated delivery December 18th (today is the 24th), and Delayed item are all the vague and inaccurate updates I have received. Larger parcels are sent using UPS. They always arrive on the scheduled date, and often before the scheduled date. The drivers ring my bell, and leave the item on my front porch. Which is as I have asked that they do, since I live in a safe neighborhood. UPS by themselves decided that they would stop delivering my packages to my house and tried to force me to drive 50 miles to pick them up at a drop-off location. I have lived here for 12 yrs and always had packages delivered with no problem. I went online to try and reroute it to my house and UPS wanted an additional $16 to do that. I paid to ship it from Amazon.com to my home. Not to another city 50 miles away, then be asked to pay an extra $16 to do what UPS had done at my home consistently for 12 yrs. I called 800-742-5877 "Customer Service" line spoke to Craig Y who lives in Asia. The only helpful thing he had to offer was he explained that UPS updated their website and now by default, without asking customers if it's ok, changes all customer's settings to ship packages to drop off locations instead homes. I never signed up for that and didn't authorize that change.
The first time I went to the drop-off location last week it was a tiny closet of a space crammed with about 15 people back to back to pick up packages with very few masks, social distancing, or hand sanitizer. I was forced to stand in that back to back like for 20 minutes to get my package. I called the same 1800 line after that pickup and asked them to stop shipping my packages to Ellsworth and ship them to my house. She had a very thick Asian accent I could hardly understand. She told me she would contact the Brewer Maine facility and make sure the driver knew to deliver packages to my home. She clearly didn't do that.
This new "by default" unauthorized change UPS made to people with an account could very well force an older person or someone at high risk to become exposed to covid-19 to get their packages. Horrible job UPS. Craig Y who lives in Asia refused to give me a phone number for the local UPS location or let me speak to a supervisor. He claimed he didn't know their numbers. Another one at the local office when I called last week to find where another package that was after it was delivered to the wrong address caught a major attitude with me and was like “well our drivers deliver hundreds of packages a day.” Which I guess means it’s ok for them to deliver them to the wrong address and say it went to the right house because they are overworked. If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would. We ship LTL freight regularly for our business. We have shipped with many companies and have NEVER had an experience as bad as with UPS Freight. We scheduled two shipments with UPS Freight thinking they should be a reliable company, like other big-name companies such as FedEx Freight, Central Freight, or YRC. What a tremendous mistake!
In summary, Shipment #1 was picked up days late, lost, found weeks after the shipment was due, never actually delivered by UPS Freight (we had to pick it up from their terminal), and damaged. Shipment #2 was picked up 2 days late, they failed to deliver it during the “delivery appointment” time or even on that day, and failed to notify us that it would be late; then delivered it on day that we could not accept the delivery after saying they “definitely would not” deliver it that day. If you would like the details relating to each shipment, please read below.
For the first shipment, UPS Freight failed to pick up the freight on the scheduled pickup day. They picked it up a couple days later with no notification of the change. We requested a delivery appointment time because it was fragile freight and I wanted to ensure my warehouse manager would be available to oversee unloading of the freight, and paid extra for the "delivery appointment". The freight didn't arrive. I called UPS Freight and they could not determine where the freight was. They said they would contact the local terminal and someone would call me back within an hour. The next day I still did not receive a call. This repeated for 3 days. On the 3rd day they told me they had no idea where our freight was. They said it wasn't lost; they just didn't know where it was located. (That sounds lost to me.)
About a week later, the freight was finally delivered to the UPS terminal for the destination city. They told us it would be another week before it was delivered to our warehouse (it was originally supposed to be 3 days from shipper to delivery to consignee, our company). It was now urgently needed, so we asked if we could send a truck to pick it up from the UPS terminal. Our driver arrived at the terminal and the freight was off of the skids and damaged. The freight consisted of 3 hospital beds wrapped in protective wrap and secured to skids. They severely damaged one of the beds and blamed it on the shipper improperly securing it to the skids. The shipper ships hospital beds wrapped and secured to skids on a daily basis, and they have never had this occur. We receive beds wrapped and secured to skids regularly and have never had this occur.
Shipment #2 included two very large, heavy crates (154” x 74” x 68” and over 1800 lbs each). Due to the size, we needed multiple employees present when the freight arrived to assist in unloading. Therefore, we requested a delivery appointment for this shipment also. Due to the size and weight of the shipment, UPS Freight called the shipper to arrange pickup. Then they failed to appear on the day THEY scheduled. The shipment was picked up 5 days later. After calling the shipper to schedule the pickup, they gave no notice that they would not arrive to pick it up. They then called to schedule a “delivery appointment”, giving a 6 ½ hour window during which they would (allegedly) deliver the freight.
We arranged to have extra employees at the warehouse on the day of the delivery. But the freight didn’t arrive. And once again, we did not get a call letting us know that they would not deliver during the appointment time or even the same day. After again calling to track down the freight, I was told it had not yet arrived in the state, much less to the delivery terminal. They said they would call me back and let me know when it would be delivered. Again, we received no call. I called UPS again the following business day and was told that it would arrive at our local terminal on Monday, that they would call to re-schedule the delivery appointment, and they “definitely would not” deliver without calling for an appointment first. Monday morning the first employee arrived at the warehouse to find the UPS truck in the parking lot.
Needless to say, they had not called to re-schedule the appointment. Unfortunately, our forklift operator had taken the day off so we had no one to unload the freight because they said they “definitely would not” deliver it that day and without re-scheduling the appt. The employees of UPS Freight have lied and failed to keep their promises repeatedly. They were not careful with the freight and caused extensive damage. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY!

The second parcel was thrown over my six foot high security gate and severely damaged, no attempt was made to contact me until after this event when I got a text saying, "Your parcel is at your gate," I arrived home to find the damaged package soaking wet, the item is electrical and I am still waiting for it to dry out in the hope that it still works, and I am about to inform the sender in the hope that they will never use such a poor service ever again. I can provide photos and CCTV footage if necessary.

My brother use to work for UPS. It's true that they have to move fast with deliveries and COVID can be a factor in how soon something arrives. However, regardless of those two factors, since mid-September, all of my deliveries are covered in dust and dirt upon their arrival. The trucks don't appear to be very clean. Do they not do proper cleaning at the end of the day??? At least 3 of my packages (and they weren't small,) had to be vacuumed off and wiped down before being allowed in the house. I tried to speak with someone on the phone about it and was referred a wrong number. It's so discouraging. I remember when they did better.

Haven't had an Amazon package the required a physical signature in years, whoever the character. Order a smaller thing from amazon, not large, not expensive, and receive a random 'your delivery failed' email. Get in touch with UPS because apparently they're the carrier... only they're not, they subcontracted it out to another carrier who their specific contract with that specific carrier requires physical receipt and signatures.
After YEARS, quite literally, of every other package off amazon being dropped at the door and that's that. I don't care if you require a sig for everything or for nothing, though one is obviously a bit more convenient and the other obviously a bit more secure, just be consistent with your contracts and couriers. Who has time or desire to just wait around all day in case that one package happens to be carried by that one carrier that UPS says has to have a signature. Come on.

The customer service of UPS is terrible and the worst I've ever dealt with. They announced a package delivery to me as delivered and signed by a receiver with a name I never heard about. Has nothing to do with my name. For complaining they want to guide you through stupid web sites with more stupid questions. When you get through to a representative then they look after your name, find that the address is somehow different and you have to deal with the sender. The problem is, that I have an order confirmation from the sender and talked to them. Name, Address, phone number, everything is correct. Now a 100$ value package is somewhere. They don't care about you and want to end the call as soon as possible. I didn't yell, I was very polite but disappointed of course. This company is dead for me. If I have the choice I will use a different shipping company, even I have to pay more. If there would be "minus stars" I would give that.

I seriously doubt any of the good reviews on this company as even their drivers hate this company, it isn't the fault of the drivers, they're overworked by the idiotic upper level staff. This company just needs to die.

Due to UPS' inepsy and incompetence I now cannot change the import permit anymore and I have to get a new permit, pay the duty AGAIN and then chase customs for my refund. The corporate arm of UPS got involved and I ended up getting my package without having to pay "brokerage charges," after 4 months of back and forth. At least I got to work with someone reasonable, and I'm thankful for that. I will mention that I seem to have gotten traction in this dispute when I asked for an itemization or detailed explanation of the brokerage charges, which I'm legally entitled to, which they could not provide. This makes me think the brokerage charges are likely conjured or made up. If you find yourself in this position, you should consider demanding an itemization of the charges, which UPS is legally obligated to give you.

I'll keep this simple. I made a purchase from someone in Canada through eBay. When the package arrived, I was asked, by UPS, to pay an additional $168.59, of which $0.00 was US Customs Duties, $2.14 Govt. Charges other Than Duties, and $166.45 UPS Brokerage Charges on something that cost me $190. I was given the choice of paying an additional 88% of my original purchase for UPS brokerage fees, or my package would be destroyed. Bon Voyage Package, and I had no recourse to a refund. I lost $190 because of UPS's extortion. I don't know what else to call an unexpected 88% markup, for something I could have cleared through customs myself for free, if I had been given prior warning that UPS was being used.
If you are using UPS ground and shipping between Canada and US, please educate yourself on "Self Clearance" of items through customs and communicate with whomever you're shipping to or from. Actually I would recommend you avoid using UPS. USPS may be slow, but they won't try to extort you and in failing to do so, destroy your package.

Couple of days ago, I waited at home for UPS delivery of grandson's laptop I ordered from Lenovo as it requires signature to receive. From time to time, I kept checking from the front door to see if UPS truck is on my driveway. Then after a while I saw another small item sitting on the step at my front door (delivered by UPS, but did not require signature). At the same time, I saw a sticky Note on my front door saying "Sorry we missed you ..." -- this is for the laptop delivery that requires signature. The Note indicated that the package could be picked up at the nearby UPS Access Point on the next business day. The delivery driver DID NOT knock on my door nor pressed the doorbell to get people's attention inside the house. They simply placed the sticky Note on the door and ASSUMED that no one was home to receive the package (despite of a car parked on the driveway).
Immediately I managed to call the UPS Customer Service, and spoke to someone who was in the Philippines (across the globe from the USA). I told them that the driver DID NOT knock on my door to get my attention. I was told that because of COVID-19, the driver was NOT ALLOWED to knock on the door (as if the house is contaminated with virus). This is the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard in my life. How could I know that one is outside my door if they don't knock? I demanded the UPS Customer Service person to call the driver and tell them to return to my address so I can receive the item that I was waiting on. She said she could not do it (I guess that's understandable, with her being in the Philippines and the delivery being in USA).
Bottom-line, it was the following day (afternoon) that the package was placed in the locker at the nearby Access Point, which I was able to pick up. I lost a bucket of blood in the miserable experience, but it's okay -- I'm still alive! My suggestion for UPS: Teach their drivers to knock on the door so people inside the house would know. To stay safe with the COVID-19, teach the drivers to find a piece of any hard object outside that they could use to knock gently on the door if they don't want to use their own knuckles. There are so many ways to get people's attention in the house. And besides, they have the customer's contact phone numbers -- they can always call. Teaching their drivers to use common sense could be very handy, and could also make their customers happy.

After spending time calling twice by the way, the first rep told me they would dispatch the driver to retrieve the package and would call me back in an hour. I never received a call. When I called back to find out what was going on, a second rep told me that I was misinformed and that I would have to fill out an investigation form. Since this is the second package that has gone missing from the same shipper destined to arrive to me, I am officially angry.

UPS denied the claim, saying it was the packaging fault. Not the driver who carelessly handled the box and obviously dropped it. Not the handling person at the warehouse. Despite FRAGILE written all over the box, it was still handled carelessly. But UPS denied the claim with no real explanation, other than “packaging”. I’ll never use UpS again. I get packages all the time, nearly daily. So, to improve that experience, I signed up for My UPS so I can, allegedly, have more control over my deliveries. On there, I have specifically stated that we cannot accept deliveries after 6:00 pm because, while we are in a residential area, this is a church and empty after 6:00 pm. Despite those instructions and REPEATED complaints, they continue to deliver at night, leaving valuable boxes on the porch of the church overnight for the porch bandits (I'm generously assuming it's porch bandits and not UPS taking the 'delivered' boxes).
We lose more than 30% of our orders because they refuse to follow our instructions. That, alone costs a lot of time and stress on our small donations coffer. But, worse than that, is that, when you call them, they refuse to take responsibility for the missing items. They can pass the buck faster than a politician caught with his hand in the till! They 'delivered the package' because their driver says it was delivered. They have no proof it was delivered. There are no records other than the driver's word it was delivered to the correct address in an appropriate manner. But they "aren't responsible". I really think that everyone needs to re-think using this service and find a more reliable and responsible delivery method.

UPS if you're going to suspend service guarantees than you need to reduce expedited shipping rates accordingly. You still charge us the same rates for overnight or 2nd day air but there is no guarantee behind it anymore (so there is less value in it than there was before although that is not clear to the buyer at first). After a few days of waiting for my package, I checked the status and somehow sent from Spokane to Illinois; with a new arrival date of August 10. When I talked to customer service to figure out why my package was sent elsewhere and how they can fix their mistake, they never answered any of my questions and just repeated that my package is currently in transit (no explanation as to why it was in Illinois) and that it will arrive August 10th. After the employee consistently circled around my questions, I requested to speak to a supervisor, which took some coercion for the employee to attempt to find someone. And to no surprise, supervisor was "busy."
I realize packages can arrive late but when you pay for 2-day shipping and it's UPS's fault that it does not arrive after two days- the least they could do is acknowledge that they made a mistake and give me some sort of explanation or an apology. Better yet: they should take ownership of their mistake and attempt to fix it. I didn't feel like I was a valued customer whatsoever.

If you give a 3 hour arrival window, I'm not going to sit there watching out the window when I've got work to do. You have to ring the doorbell. This is the second time UPS has done this to me. No knock, no ring - just walk up and put a sticker on the door and walk away. The first time they did this, I was expecting 2 different deliveries. One was just a leave it by the door sort of package and the other I had to sign for. I didn't know which it was when I actually saw the UPS delivery guy stop in front of my house. He got off the truck and sprayed his face with water. However, I was in a Zom meeting, so I just listened closely for a knock or the bell and... nothing. After the meeting, I went down and looked to find the "we missed you" post-it note.
Today, I had scheduled a pickup and they said they'd be there between 9 and noon. I checked around 12:30 and there was no post it or anything. Then around 1:30 or 2, I come down, and there's the post-it. No bell, no knock. I had even asked when I scheduled the pickup: should I leave the package on the porch or will they ring the bell and they said they'd ring the bell. I've tested the bell. It works fine. And I can hear it clearly from my office. They just never press it. If I ever have the option, I am not using UPS if I don't have to. By comparison, I've had multiple FedEx deliveries and they ring the bell. And they're nice and professional. Plus, if a package needs signed for, FedEx sends you notifications. You know nearly to the minute when they will arrive. UPS doesn't do that.

They delivered my package to a stranger’s house and their package to my house. We live 10 minutes apart. I had to open this person’s package, look at their online store order receipt, get their phone number, and text them about receiving their package. Thankfully, they said they’ve received mine. I drove up to this stranger’s house the next day and exchanged our packages mixed up by UPS.
When I called them numerous times, they said they were surprised too. The first time they said I’ll get a call to discuss the issue further in an hour, but I never received a call. I went on a full scavenger hunt to get my package because of an incompetent UPS driver. I got lucky because my package did not contain any expensive items, or else someone could have just kept it to themselves. FedEx and even USPS are far better. Throughout the many years that I’ve lived in my current location up until now, the only issue I’ve had with UPS was them delivering my packages late. Go figure.

After all these twenty years of stay and live in America. This is one of the store should immediately CLOSE DOWN. My situation is, I have an important document send from Arizona to California. I paid over $25. All they do is bring it there and bring it back. And most of all when I request the service and advice about info note that inform the recipient and pick up at transit UPS point. The people there is refused to further conversation and offered the professional/standard/normal service to me. It is like no human is working but they still breathe.
My whole life works for customer servicing in various field which mostly is 5 stars company. This UPS store attitude is so sick. It would remind you that the security and homeland security is in danger and warning. And they as a transportation delivery people do not promise to assist and provide the community with service. I was so pissed off, it is just like AT&T those Mexican supervisor or manager attitude to people around the world that they do not know. Last time, it is so unfriend and unprofessional, uncivilized and irresponsible that I as an adult 45 years old, I cried for at least 20 minutes for this begging them can hear better English and provide standard service to public.
THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT DOING BUSINESS. Probably that day at the store the manager schedule Blind Deaf and all the disable staffs in one schedule in one store. And so happen the customer they thought is their security personnel. My important document was wasted and with the xvvz manager handled??? Is like insane??? For no reason I order a two day delivery document service for $30, and they took it but bring it back because no one is at home? This is ridiculous. I said, "You said left an info notice to ask the recipient to pick up at UPS store" [mostly common sense] But they did not and took my money and bring it back to me after three days. THIS IS INSANE. I am not creating a game like GOD to let them carry people privacy and delay for three days and took my $30 and said no one pick up and without issuing an info notice to the recipient.
I called and complaint on this incident, all they do is kept on creating lies against me for no reason. LIKE A crazy person. This kind of working ethics is not allowed in USA or other world known country. This is cheating for a job and damage community services. A JOKE. I met over at least 30 UPS store in twenty years. I only have problem with two stores. This is the second one and the most hilarious one.

A call to UPS customer service promised a delivery of 7/27 which matched the tracking information. On 7/27 the tracking was further updated to indicate delivery on 7/28.
Another call to a customer service supervisor revealed that my shipment was still on the truck waiting to be accepted at the UPS shipping facility. The same customer service rep explained that the tracking information was inaccurate - but the guidance provided by customer service was to continue to use the tracking info for status. Really? Here’s what concerns me about this experience:
1) UPS did not deliver as advertised based on tracking details.2) UPS customer service admitted that the tracking info was incorrect.
3) Despite the numerous updates made on tracking the UPS customer service Supervisor admitted my delivery was never accepted into the UPS facility responsible for local delivery.
I understand today’s realities and that shipping demand is high but deliberately misleading customers in an attempt to maintain internal performance targets should not be the reason for deceiving your customers.

In the last two months, three times my packages have been scheduled for a Friday delivery, then rescheduled for the following Monday evening delivery. I called customer support, took 4 calls to finally get a person on phone, they apologize & use Covid-19 as an excuse, say they will note problem to locale facility. Why bother! Worst company ever! I live in Canada and order a lot worldwide. Recent orders:
1) Package coming from the EU, on the tracker they said Thursday, so I asked to work from home so I can be present during the delivery. Because apparently they started to leave the package to the doorstep ONLY since Covid... yeah... right... good excuse... So I was waiting, at 9AM the tracker said, out for delivery... then at 5 pm it changed to the next day...
Furious I called, I had a very nice lady (the only time) and I asked her to NOT leave the package on the doorstep, which she replied that the delivery man needs to leave a note to reprogram the delivery and change the address (if necessary). I said ok and thanked her (I also ask to leave an official complaint), the next day I received a message while I was at work, saying that my package was delivered... It was a 3.400$ equipment left on my doorstep outside where anybody could see it. When I came home, no package... Thank God a nice neighbour took my package to protect it. This is outrageous and using the Covid as an excuse to leave package on the doorstep... this is what this company do for years!
2) Other experience with a 4.700$ computer, they changed the delivery date, I called them to not let it on the front door, and the woman on the phone was acting a little bit like an ** (sorry) saying that it's not possible (blah blah blah) and that I should had left a note on my door (which was not possible, too late) and said that I should have known that... Like this is normal...
Anyway, I'll try to avoid this company as much as possible, even if I need to pay more and wait longer!

I am a recent college graduate trying to make ends meet by reselling products online. UPS' insurance claims is by far the most horrendous experience I've ever lived through and have been proven UPS truly does not care about their customers. I shipped out a like-new condition Microsoft Surface that's worth $4000 to an eBay customer. At the UPS store with my supplies and theirs, I spent over an hour properly packing this expensive computer and even had the kind assistance of the UPS workers to help me.
I ensure that there was absolutely no way this package could have been damaged: Styrofoam at least 5-inches thick all around, an absurd amount of bubble wrap and other fillers, a thick carboard box UPS provided me, and a nice amount of packing tape. When finished, the workers noticed the amount of time and detail to pack this perfectly and there was no area where you could push in the box and it didn't feel firm. I knew, and the UPS employees knew, I did an excellent job. I've been reselling products for years and have NEVER had an issue.
Upon delivery, my customer messages me letting me know that the cardboard box has a massive hole in it, as if it was impaled by a metal tube/sword/something! The UPS driver reported it was damaged upon arrival and they both took pictures of being able to see my computer screen cracked and ruined!! A $4000 touch screen computer having its screen shattered and sides dented. Unbelievable!!
UPS does not care about you nor will they provide compensation for the additional insurance you paid. They are awful, inconsiderate, and I advise you not to do business with them. FedEx and USPS is superior and would never screw you over as UPS would. This disaster happened two months ago and I have yet to receive any kind of compensation. I paid over $2000 worth of insurance (and I wish I would have done more) in the worst case that this delivery goes bad. Well it did.
After waiting 6 weeks for a response from UPS' claim department, I was notified from the UPS store I shipped it from that the claim was rejected due to me being at fault for not packing it better. Either someone highly incompetent is responsible for the claim decision or their whole insurance segment is a scam. I had 0 flaws with my packing, had reassurance from the UPS workers, and the fact that there was a giant circular hole resulting from some kind impalement from their distribution warehouse which is not my fault completely deems UPS 100% responsible for their negligence of taking care of my package's transit to the customer and a complete lack of respect and care for their customers. I haven't even received the $180 spent for shipping. Nothing at all.
Please consider this advice as us being in a pandemic, at a time where hundreds of millions have been greatly affected for the worst have been fooled to believe we could trust UPS to do the right thing and stand by their mission statement of "offering excellence and value in all that we do." If they're not willing to do the right thing now and are willing to scam me and millions of other Americans when they have over $74 billion USD in revenue, what makes you think they will change? Save yourself and prevent your mental health from plummeting to an abyss. UPS is not for anyone.

I had to chase the driver out the door to give him the COD payment they requested. I now find out 2 months later the driver never remitted my payment. Rather than contact me by phone, email or text ups sat on my invoice without saying a word and sent it to collections. Resulting in my being sent a lovely collections notice. A company that can email me to make sure I'm avalible for drop off can't email me to track lost payment.
Do not use ups. I could forgive the delays and the billing confusion. But not the deliberate lack of communication. We could have settled this 8 weeks ago. Instead I now have to risk giving credit info to some scummy collection agent. Any future shipping that involves UPS will simply result in my cancellation of the order. Since it’s UPS , a well known company with a high standard for quality service I trusted this option. After shipping my belongings I paid a total of $1098 ($54 of which was supposed to be refunded two weeks ago and has yet to be refunded).
When my boxes arrived in Dallas the condition they were in was completely unacceptable. After reaching out to UPS countless times, speaking with countless reps, being placed on hold, transferred, and eventually disconnected at least 5 times I reached out via facebook hoping the basic standard of customer service would be upheld. I was sadly mistaken.
Apparently, due to Coronavirus they aren’t refunding shipping charges. Basically, this MAJOR companies that is probably worth BILLIONS can’t refund me (a NYC resident living off of an educator salary during the same pandemic) my $1000 for horrible and blasphemous service I received. I just seems odd to me that the chose a time like this, when individuals like myself are losing family members and loved left and right, Stressed with the ever changing pandemic (especially those of us who live in NYC) to take advantage of and essential rob customers who trust their service and reputation. Last delivery attempt was 5/22 and on 5/26 requested the package to be left at a UPS store (received email confirmation). No communication from them, had to call the UPS store who told me to call UPS general and give a number. This was on 6/1 and I was told they would find the package and have it delivered to the store (in reality it was being shipped back to TX) on 6/5 I received an email that the package was at the UPS Store to be picked up. Went and of course package was not there, third call to UPS and they did not tell me that the package was already in TX - told me I could file an inquiry and an email would be sent (never got an email) and had to call back.
Finally spoke to a representative in the Mpls department who basically said because they have so many packages, with the riots they couldn't keep track of all packages. The issue is that I received communication that showed that the package was OK and received - all that was needed is communication that there was a problem and I would've dealt with it.

I bought some items from Best Buy and they shipped the item through UPS. I was tracking those packages and the delivery status shows delivery attempts but they didn’t put any level for one and suddenly today I got two InfoNotice where they didn’t mention the access point. Even though I have searched the access point through internet then I go to the access point at 7.15 PM the peoples over there they said they don’t have any information and maybe the driver has the items. This is so unprofessional. If they can’t deliver they have to keep the item at their access point. Even if it’s happens to FedEx, they will write the information on the InfoNotice when exactly they will attempted for redelivery. Also if they can't reach you you can collect the package from the local pickup point.
They really don’t care of the customers. The whole day I was waiting and after that I have driven like 54 minutes to go and comeback from the access point also have to wait for 15/20 minutes. They don’t right to hassle us. This is so unprofessional. And give me a lot of stress! Even I called the number on the InfoNotice and submitted the numbers, they said there is no information available. What is that?? Is this the way they can treat us? This is so pathetic! I will never use ups. Also never recommend anyone for ups. FedEx and USPS is the best at their service.

So since Friday June 5th I have been lied to repeatedly by 4 different customer service reps, I am also a UPS My Choice member and have come to understand that this is also a very unreliable scam. So friday there was a delay in 7 packages I was supposed to receive delays are understandable but I called to explore my options being my orders were for business and need real information to serve my customers when I called I was told I could go on my choice and request a pickup and get it that day I was very happy, so I spent a couple hours trying to figure out how on their app. Once I did it I gave it some time and called to find out when I can pick up my package to only find out the rep I spoke to misled me and in no way could I pick up my package until Monday.
I was irate and spoke to someone else who ensured if I cancelled the pick up they would be delivered on Saturday so again taking their word I did so and as they said my packages were loaded on the truck for delivery and I was able to track the truck literally one street over from my residence but no delivery came. I spoke to another customer service rep who told me it should have came and it will so for the last 5 days it's been the same exact thing. I follow the delivery. It never gets made.
I no longer have access to the map on my choice most likely to my complaints but it gets better. I ended up realizing the fact that they are incapable of delivering my items so I will go back to self pickup. Being early in the day I figured it could get done so once again I contacted the most uninformed group of customer service reps or they are just deceitful but either way he actualy contacted the Windsor Locks CT customer center and made the requests for me then ensured I would be able to pick them up in an hour. I was like great and even though I've dealt with a lot as long as I will get my customers there packages it will be alright.
So I show up there 2 hours later and look like a fool and get told I won't be able to get my packages until friday 3 days later I was fuming but what could I do besides call a supervisor. So that's what I did and they did not care offered absolutley no solution except promised me they would get it ready for pickup on Thursday instead of Friday. Well guess what. Another blatant lie. No packages yet and now I can't even get an answer as to when.
I understand we are in some trying times and I would of understood the delays what I can't understand is the blatant lies by 4 customer service reps and one supervisor. I am a business owner and I would never provide that type of service. They claimed weather or emergency was reason but to anybody who knows that is a cop out. Emergencies are unexpected. No way for 6 days in a row an unexpected emergency happens on a truck that lands one street over every day. Their deliberate misinformation and false promises has made it clear that they are not in practice of good business and I will do my absolute best to never use them again. I'm sure many people have had great experience with them as I have up until now and it's because I never had to contact customer service once you do you will feel the same as me.
