My package was paid for delivery within 2 days. These are important documents that needed to arrive before Dec 28. I chose UPS purely for this reason and the fact that they were the closest such service on a cold day, otherwise I could have used the post office. Since Dec 21, my package arrived at the Winnipeg UPS office and has not moved since. It is now Dec 30 and no one knows where my package is.

I called around 1pm and was told an investigation would be opened, I would receive an email and I would be called back by the sending office within 1 hour.

By 3:15pm I received none of these. I called the sending office who claimed they were not contacted and could only see exactly what I was seeing. They claimed they would call the head office and get back to me within an hour.

By 5pm I received no calls and no emails. I called back the head office and was told my package was clearly lost and they would open an investigation. In fact, oddly enough they claimed where I was calling was the very office that was the last to receive it. No supervisor was available to speak to me and the supervisor would call me back in 2 hours (7:30pm). Clearly this was unlikely and at that point the office would be closed so I would not have anyone to speak to. Upon pressing, the person claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but transferred me to a line no one picked up.

I called back and the next lady claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but hung up. I called back and the next guy claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but transferred me to a survey to say how wonderful he was when he did nothing and then the phone disconnected. I called again and this guy claimed to be transferring me to a supervisor, but transferred me to investigations. At least someone answered though it was just as unhelpful.

After speaking to investigations… they will investigate for 8 days. All updates and compensation will go to the sending office as the package was actually not sent in my name but in theirs - something no one told me. This is the same office that never called me back and could not be bothered. When asked how I would know the status, I was told I would just have to call the sending office every day. When asked how I would know if I am receiving my full compensation, I was told I would just have to trust or call the head office, tell them what I received and they could only tell me if it was the same but still could not say exactly what I should receive. I was told that as the shipper and the person raising the complaint, UPS set-up a system that does not entitle me to receive any updates or details. I will NEVER use UPS again and will NEVER recommend them to my worst enemy.

The dispute has been resolved to my complete satisfaction. I would suggest that UPS completely redesign their website. It is currently impossible to be adequately informed of the delivery status of its packages. The information is sometimes even wrong, as happened in my case. UPS employees work hard but they need better IT tools for customer service.

    Original Review: Dec. 28, 2020

According to their own rules, UPS is supposed to make two attempts at parcel delivery in case no one is around. On their first try, UPS left a package on the front of my door, three feet from the sidewalk. The package was stolen. Afterwards, I tried to contact UPS, without success. Their client services department is a fiction. If I could give zero star, this is what I would do. This company is deceitful.

One of the worst and sloppy service providers you could choose from. They have delivered a damaged shipment to my address and they are not ready to accept their mistake nor ready to help their customers. Don't ever choose these guys for shipping your products, desperate damages guaranteed by them. Look at my situation and make a wise decisions.

I had ordered a product from Malaysia, these guys damaged the shipment in the airport. All the boxes were opened for security checking and none closed nor taped and the worst part is they have not placed the safety cushion in the right place. Due to which shipment got damaged and more heinous crime is connectors were also stolen from my shipment. These guys are thieves and least rated criminals. Practising unethical behaviour and criminal personality at work in airport Customs and clearance. Even in the worst case scenario don't ever choose UPS for your shipping needs. It's better to find an alternative service provider than choosing UPS. Apart from deliberately damages, delays. They also steal your goods. Stay away from these scamsters.

I ordered numerous items early in the month of December. All of the items being shipped through other companies arrived as scheduled or had moderate delays. However, I received updates on items when requested. The majority of the items shipped by UPS are delayed. I receive no updates about my items. It always states, "Check back tomorrow"; showing that they are just sitting in facilities for days. It's so disheartening and disappointing. I understand that there are massive delays due to increased shipping and the pandemic. However, if all of the other shipping companies can make an effort to provide service in a timely manner and at least make sure the customer is updated on their packages then so can UPS.

I have four packages I'm awaiting from UPS. All ordered early December, and none of which I can receive valid updates on. Check back tomorrow, estimated delivery December 18th (today is the 24th), and Delayed item are all the vague and inaccurate updates I have received. Oh, but if you pay to become a preferred member you can apparently get more information. Other than that you'll only get computer generated messages not applicable to your inquiry.

Contacted the store and spent HOURS on the phone with customer service with no help or sympathy that the very important package would not arrive as expected.

My primary experience with UPS is deliveries from Amazon. But I have had many deliveries, over many years. Rarely, if ever, have I had a bad experience. This year, due to the pandemic, I've placed more orders than usual, with Amazon.ca. Smaller parcels they send via Canada Post, which has been a horror story this year. Larger parcels are sent using UPS. They always arrive on the scheduled date, and often before the scheduled date. The drivers ring my bell, and leave the item on my front porch. Which is as I have asked that they do, since I live in a safe neighborhood. I have nothing but praise for those guys and gals who do the deliveries, along with everyone behind the scenes who ensure parcels are sent out on time.

UPS by themselves decided that they would stop delivering my packages to my house and tried to force me to drive 50 miles to pick them up at a drop-off location. I have lived here for 12 yrs and always had packages delivered with no problem. I went online to try and reroute it to my house and UPS wanted an additional $16 to do that. I paid to ship it from Amazon.com to my home. Not to another city 50 miles away, then be asked to pay an extra $16 to do what UPS had done at my home consistently for 12 yrs. I called 800-742-5877 "Customer Service" line spoke to Craig Y who lives in Asia. The only helpful thing he had to offer was he explained that UPS updated their website and now by default, without asking customers if it's ok, changes all customer's settings to ship packages to drop off locations instead homes. I never signed up for that and didn't authorize that change.

The first time I went to the drop-off location last week it was a tiny closet of a space crammed with about 15 people back to back to pick up packages with very few masks, social distancing, or hand sanitizer. I was forced to stand in that back to back like for 20 minutes to get my package. I called the same 1800 line after that pickup and asked them to stop shipping my packages to Ellsworth and ship them to my house. She had a very thick Asian accent I could hardly understand. She told me she would contact the Brewer Maine facility and make sure the driver knew to deliver packages to my home. She clearly didn't do that.

This new "by default" unauthorized change UPS made to people with an account could very well force an older person or someone at high risk to become exposed to covid-19 to get their packages. Horrible job UPS. Craig Y who lives in Asia refused to give me a phone number for the local UPS location or let me speak to a supervisor. He claimed he didn't know their numbers. No one in "Customer Service" has any local phone numbers or managers to speak with. UPS in Brewer Maine, STOP SHIPPING MY PACKAGES TO ELLSWORTH!

My normal delivery drivers are usually good. However the 2nd day/next day/holiday drivers are horrible. My package was scanned as left at the front door. My house is 90 feet from the street up and my driveway is up a bit of a hill. This package along with many others get left at the corner of my street and driveway. I have had several go missing but UPS swears they left them on my front porch. How stupid of the drivers saying that with everyone having security cameras these days. There is no accountability of the drivers. When you complain they blackball you at the local terminal and won't leave a package without a signature even though the shipper didn't request one saying you had too many missing items. The items would not go missing if they put them on the porch where they are not visible from the street or driveway. I have pictures and downloaded video of these drivers and their laziness but UPS don't want to see them.

We have been experiencing lot of issues with UPS lately. They damaged our $5000 equipment and didn't want to take any responsibility. They came with a stupid reason saying that the unit was not shipped in a strong enough box. It's manufacturer's professionally packaging and the manufacturer has been making professional medical and dental equipment. The stupid UPS just mishandled the heavy 86lbs unit even though there were stickers on it says "Heavy Item" Handle with extra care. They left us alone without any help nor any reimbursement for the damage. We will do everything possible to ship as less packages with UPS as possible... They are simply taking advantage of not having many competitors.

If I could leave no stars I would. They’ve delivered 4 packages in the last two weeks to the wrong address. Their tracking says all 4 items were delivered to my door yet they ended up at other people’s houses. Luckily my neighbors are honest and I generally get the packages back. Their customer service is atrocious too. Someone put me on hold tonight when I was inquiring about a package that was attempted to deliver today (even though I was here all day and no one came or left a notice on the door.) The rep never came back to the phone bc it was past 9pm and they were off work I guess.

Another one at the local office when I called last week to find where another package that was after it was delivered to the wrong address caught a major attitude with me and was like “well our drivers deliver hundreds of packages a day.” Which I guess means it’s ok for them to deliver them to the wrong address and say it went to the right house because they are overworked. Still have a MIA package and have to wait till Monday to call back since their office is closed now and the rep never took me off hold again. :( :(

I go online to file a claim and their process requires you to check a list of scenario options for which the only logical choice would be delivered to wrong address - but who knows? I submit the claim last night and today they email me with more red tape admin hoops to jump through. Bottom line you cannot depend on UPS — I think the “U” stands for UNRELIABLE.

UPS is the worst carriers in the world. They are very irresponsible with packages and deliveries. If they can't read addresses or even know how to read or write then they don't need to be doing deliveries or working for UPS. I ordered something and received an alert that my package was delivered and left at my front door. However I was home all day and I live in a gated apartment complex there was no package left at my front door or a notification that they were there.

I contacted UPS to file a claim that same day that my package did not arrive. I was told that someone in the investigation department will contact me me with information about my missing package. I called back 2 weeks later because I haven't heard anything to find out that they've closed the case and didn't provide any information to why they closed the case and let me know happened to my package. Amazon really needs to put UPS out of business because UPS don't care about their customers. I'll never refer this carrier to anyone.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would. We ship LTL freight regularly for our business. We have shipped with many companies and have NEVER had an experience as bad as with UPS Freight. We scheduled two shipments with UPS Freight thinking they should be a reliable company, like other big-name companies such as FedEx Freight, Central Freight, or YRC. What a tremendous mistake!

In summary, Shipment #1 was picked up days late, lost, found weeks after the shipment was due, never actually delivered by UPS Freight (we had to pick it up from their terminal), and damaged. Shipment #2 was picked up 2 days late, they failed to deliver it during the “delivery appointment” time or even on that day, and failed to notify us that it would be late; then delivered it on day that we could not accept the delivery after saying they “definitely would not” deliver it that day. If you would like the details relating to each shipment, please read below.

For the first shipment, UPS Freight failed to pick up the freight on the scheduled pickup day. They picked it up a couple days later with no notification of the change. We requested a delivery appointment time because it was fragile freight and I wanted to ensure my warehouse manager would be available to oversee unloading of the freight, and paid extra for the "delivery appointment". The freight didn't arrive. I called UPS Freight and they could not determine where the freight was. They said they would contact the local terminal and someone would call me back within an hour. The next day I still did not receive a call. This repeated for 3 days. On the 3rd day they told me they had no idea where our freight was. They said it wasn't lost; they just didn't know where it was located. (That sounds lost to me.)

About a week later, the freight was finally delivered to the UPS terminal for the destination city. They told us it would be another week before it was delivered to our warehouse (it was originally supposed to be 3 days from shipper to delivery to consignee, our company). It was now urgently needed, so we asked if we could send a truck to pick it up from the UPS terminal. Our driver arrived at the terminal and the freight was off of the skids and damaged. The freight consisted of 3 hospital beds wrapped in protective wrap and secured to skids. They severely damaged one of the beds and blamed it on the shipper improperly securing it to the skids. The shipper ships hospital beds wrapped and secured to skids on a daily basis, and they have never had this occur. We receive beds wrapped and secured to skids regularly and have never had this occur.

Shipment #2 included two very large, heavy crates (154” x 74” x 68” and over 1800 lbs each). Due to the size, we needed multiple employees present when the freight arrived to assist in unloading. Therefore, we requested a delivery appointment for this shipment also. Due to the size and weight of the shipment, UPS Freight called the shipper to arrange pickup. Then they failed to appear on the day THEY scheduled. The shipment was picked up 5 days later. After calling the shipper to schedule the pickup, they gave no notice that they would not arrive to pick it up. They then called to schedule a “delivery appointment”, giving a 6 ½ hour window during which they would (allegedly) deliver the freight.

We arranged to have extra employees at the warehouse on the day of the delivery. But the freight didn’t arrive. And once again, we did not get a call letting us know that they would not deliver during the appointment time or even the same day. After again calling to track down the freight, I was told it had not yet arrived in the state, much less to the delivery terminal. They said they would call me back and let me know when it would be delivered. Again, we received no call. I called UPS again the following business day and was told that it would arrive at our local terminal on Monday, that they would call to re-schedule the delivery appointment, and they “definitely would not” deliver without calling for an appointment first. Monday morning the first employee arrived at the warehouse to find the UPS truck in the parking lot.

Needless to say, they had not called to re-schedule the appointment. Unfortunately, our forklift operator had taken the day off so we had no one to unload the freight because they said they “definitely would not” deliver it that day and without re-scheduling the appt. The employees of UPS Freight have lied and failed to keep their promises repeatedly. They were not careful with the freight and caused extensive damage. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY!

My brother use to work for UPS. It's true that they have to move fast with deliveries and COVID can be a factor in how soon something arrives. However, regardless of those two factors, since mid-September, all of my deliveries are covered in dust and dirt upon their arrival. The trucks don't appear to be very clean. Do they not do proper cleaning at the end of the day??? At least 3 of my packages (and they weren't small,) had to be vacuumed off and wiped down before being allowed in the house. I tried to speak with someone on the phone about it and was referred a wrong number. It's so discouraging. I remember when they did better.

Order a smaller thing from amazon, not large, not expensive, and receive a random 'your delivery failed' email. Get in touch with UPS because apparently they're the carrier... only they're not, they subcontracted it out to another carrier who their specific contract with that specific carrier requires physical receipt and signatures.

After YEARS, quite literally, of every other package off amazon being dropped at the door and that's that. I don't care if you require a sig for everything or for nothing, though one is obviously a bit more convenient and the other obviously a bit more secure, just be consistent with your contracts and couriers. Who has time or desire to just wait around all day in case that one package happens to be carried by that one carrier that UPS says has to have a signature. Come on.

Has nothing to do with my name. For complaining they want to guide you through stupid web sites with more stupid questions. When you get through to a representative then they look after your name, find that the address is somehow different and you have to deal with the sender. The problem is, that I have an order confirmation from the sender and talked to them. Name, Address, phone number, everything is correct. Now a 100$ value package is somewhere. They don't care about you and want to end the call as soon as possible. I didn't yell, I was very polite but disappointed of course. This company is dead for me. If I have the choice I will use a different shipping company, even I have to pay more. If there would be "minus stars" I would give that.

The corporate arm of UPS got involved and I ended up getting my package without having to pay "brokerage charges," after 4 months of back and forth. At least I got to work with someone reasonable, and I'm thankful for that. I will mention that I seem to have gotten traction in this dispute when I asked for an itemization or detailed explanation of the brokerage charges, which I'm legally entitled to, which they could not provide. This makes me think the brokerage charges are likely conjured or made up. If you find yourself in this position, you should consider demanding an itemization of the charges, which UPS is legally obligated to give you.

I'll keep this simple. I made a purchase from someone in Canada through eBay. When the package arrived, I was asked, by UPS, to pay an additional $168.59, of which $0.00 was US Customs Duties, $2.14 Govt. Charges other Than Duties, and $166.45 UPS Brokerage Charges on something that cost me $190. I was given the choice of paying an additional 88% of my original purchase for UPS brokerage fees, or my package would be destroyed. Bon Voyage Package, and I had no recourse to a refund. I lost $190 because of UPS's extortion. I don't know what else to call an unexpected 88% markup, for something I could have cleared through customs myself for free, if I had been given prior warning that UPS was being used.

If you are using UPS ground and shipping between Canada and US, please educate yourself on "Self Clearance" of items through customs and communicate with whomever you're shipping to or from. Actually I would recommend you avoid using UPS. USPS may be slow, but they won't try to extort you and in failing to do so, destroy your package.

Couple of days ago, I waited at home for UPS delivery of grandson's laptop I ordered from Lenovo as it requires signature to receive. From time to time, I kept checking from the front door to see if UPS truck is on my driveway. Then after a while I saw another small item sitting on the step at my front door (delivered by UPS, but did not require signature). At the same time, I saw a sticky Note on my front door saying "Sorry we missed you ..." -- this is for the laptop delivery that requires signature. The Note indicated that the package could be picked up at the nearby UPS Access Point on the next business day. The delivery driver DID NOT knock on my door nor pressed the doorbell to get people's attention inside the house. They simply placed the sticky Note on the door and ASSUMED that no one was home to receive the package (despite of a car parked on the driveway).

Immediately I managed to call the UPS Customer Service, and spoke to someone who was in the Philippines (across the globe from the USA). I told them that the driver DID NOT knock on my door to get my attention. I was told that because of COVID-19, the driver was NOT ALLOWED to knock on the door (as if the house is contaminated with virus). This is the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard in my life. How could I know that one is outside my door if they don't knock? I demanded the UPS Customer Service person to call the driver and tell them to return to my address so I can receive the item that I was waiting on. She said she could not do it (I guess that's understandable, with her being in the Philippines and the delivery being in USA).

Bottom-line, it was the following day (afternoon) that the package was placed in the locker at the nearby Access Point, which I was able to pick up. I lost a bucket of blood in the miserable experience, but it's okay -- I'm still alive! My suggestion for UPS: Teach their drivers to knock on the door so people inside the house would know. To stay safe with the COVID-19, teach the drivers to find a piece of any hard object outside that they could use to knock gently on the door if they don't want to use their own knuckles. There are so many ways to get people's attention in the house. And besides, they have the customer's contact phone numbers -- they can always call. Teaching their drivers to use common sense could be very handy, and could also make their customers happy.

Despite those instructions and REPEATED complaints, they continue to deliver at night, leaving valuable boxes on the porch of the church overnight for the porch bandits (I'm generously assuming it's porch bandits and not UPS taking the 'delivered' boxes).

We lose more than 30% of our orders because they refuse to follow our instructions. That, alone costs a lot of time and stress on our small donations coffer. But, worse than that, is that, when you call them, they refuse to take responsibility for the missing items. They can pass the buck faster than a politician caught with his hand in the till! They 'delivered the package' because their driver says it was delivered. They have no proof it was delivered. There are no records other than the driver's word it was delivered to the correct address in an appropriate manner. But they "aren't responsible". This means if you purchase a service that used to be guaranteed (overnight, 2nd day air) and they take a really long time to deliver it, you have absolutely no recourse for getting any money back. UPS if you're going to suspend service guarantees than you need to reduce expedited shipping rates accordingly. You still charge us the same rates for overnight or 2nd day air but there is no guarantee behind it anymore (so there is less value in it than there was before although that is not clear to the buyer at first). If I could rate UPS 0 stars I would as they have not provided any resemblance of a service. Apparently, the driver left my parcel on my letterbox (which is right next to a busy road) at 9:00am. I received the notification and at 10:00am I went to pick up the parcel and nothing was there. Obviously I was home so the driver could have knocked on my door or even left it outside my door. This was in June and it's now near the end of August and nothing has been resolved. The customer service person Darlyne whom I have been emailing now is completely incompetent and has just told me that the matter has been closed and I need to contact the shipper. I have asked multiple times for someone to call me, but my requests have been ignored. Please do NOT use this joke of a service.

Vendor overnight important paperwork to me for signing using UPS. The UPS truck arrived at my house on day of delivery and was unable to find the package. He informed me that the package was probably misplaced and told me to call customer service. I called and naturally the rep asked that I call back after 9 pm since UPS is now offering late delivery. I called after 9 and of course I wasted my time going through all the prompt, and then got disconnected because the call center closes at 9. I checked the site the next day and it updated showing that it would be delivered today by 1. 1 pm rolls by and I called again.

This time the rep says the package is still sitting in the warehouse and not placed on a truck. When I explain the importance of the paperwork and asked if they are going to contact their local warehouse to see when it will be placed on truck I was told that is not possible. I then spoke with a USELESS Supervisor who basically told me that overnight delivery DOES NOT MEAN overnight. It could take up to a week unless you pay extra for guaranteed overnight. And surprise - surprise UPS will not credit the customer for failure to uphold their contract (let's face it, it is a contract since there is an exchange of monetary value for service) and the Supervisor basically DOES NOT CARE. I have never had a good experience with UPS. --

If I could give UPS zero stars, I would! Recently, a parcel was return as they claimed it was abandoned by seller and receiver. The seller called them as they requested, but they claimed they never got the call. They wouldn't release my parcel to me. They charged me a brokerage fee, then tried to get a second charge to send the parcel back. After 4 months of fighting with them through the BBB, I got my money back. Now my latest parcel has been dropped off at the wrong address. Even though a signature was required, they claimed it was left at the front door. I live in an apartment building.

The surveillance cameras show no such delivery being made. I was told they couldn't tell me the address where they left it, but they would investigate, retrieve the package and deliver it to me. Today, they said no such investigation is happening, and that according to their records, the parcel was delivered. They would rather lie than get to the bottom of a problem, and no one will take ownership for anything that goes wrong. I hate UPS, and I will request companies I buy from to not send my shipments via UPS. They should be charged for their ill management of the public's mail.

On day #3, 2 packages were supposedly delivered at 10:30pm but I did not receive the packages. The packages were actually delivered to another house, whose resident delivered the packages to my house. The neighbor said the 10:30pm doorbell was terrifying and also questioned UPS customer service and attention to lateness of the hour.

For the last ten years UPS drivers have never knocked on my door or rang the bell. They simply leave the package on my doorstep where it can easily be stolen. Even when I put a sign on the door telling them to knock or call they do not. Yesterday I managed to be at the door when the driver delivered the package, and I asked him when he was leaving why he didn't knock. He replied because of the coronavirus. But this was happening even BEFORE the pandemic. I often would see UPS drivers simply leave packages at my neighbors' doorsteps without knocking or ringing. As a result there have been over 10 robberies from doorsteps in my neighborhood in the last two months. So don't ever expect for UPS to ring your doorbell. They don't.

After a few days of waiting for my package, I checked the status and somehow sent from Spokane to Illinois; with a new arrival date of August 10. When I talked to customer service to figure out why my package was sent elsewhere and how they can fix their mistake, they never answered any of my questions and just repeated that my package is currently in transit (no explanation as to why it was in Illinois) and that it will arrive August 10th. After the employee consistently circled around my questions, I requested to speak to a supervisor, which took some coercion for the employee to attempt to find someone. And to no surprise, supervisor was "busy."

I realize packages can arrive late but when you pay for 2-day shipping and it's UPS's fault that it does not arrive after two days- the least they could do is acknowledge that they made a mistake and give me some sort of explanation or an apology. Better yet: they should take ownership of their mistake and attempt to fix it. I didn't feel like I was a valued customer whatsoever.

If you give a 3 hour arrival window, I'm not going to sit there watching out the window when I've got work to do. You have to ring the doorbell. This is the second time UPS has done this to me. No knock, no ring - just walk up and put a sticker on the door and walk away. The first time they did this, I was expecting 2 different deliveries. One was just a leave it by the door sort of package and the other I had to sign for. I didn't know which it was when I actually saw the UPS delivery guy stop in front of my house. He got off the truck and sprayed his face with water. However, I was in a Zom meeting, so I just listened closely for a knock or the bell and... nothing. After the meeting, I went down and looked to find the "we missed you" post-it note.

Today, I had scheduled a pickup and they said they'd be there between 9 and noon. I checked around 12:30 and there was no post it or anything. Then around 1:30 or 2, I come down, and there's the post-it. No bell, no knock. I had even asked when I scheduled the pickup: should I leave the package on the porch or will they ring the bell and they said they'd ring the bell. I've tested the bell. It works fine. And I can hear it clearly from my office. They just never press it. If I ever have the option, I am not using UPS if I don't have to. By comparison, I've had multiple FedEx deliveries and they ring the bell. And they're nice and professional. Plus, if a package needs signed for, FedEx sends you notifications. You know nearly to the minute when they will arrive. UPS doesn't do that.

When I called them numerous times, they said they were surprised too. The first time they said I’ll get a call to discuss the issue further in an hour, but I never received a call. I went on a full scavenger hunt to get my package because of an incompetent UPS driver. I got lucky because my package did not contain any expensive items, or else someone could have just kept it to themselves. FedEx and even USPS are far better. Last time, it is so unfriend and unprofessional, uncivilized and irresponsible that I as an adult 45 years old, I cried for at least 20 minutes for this begging them can hear better English and provide standard service to public.

THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT DOING BUSINESS. Probably that day at the store the manager schedule Blind Deaf and all the disable staffs in one schedule in one store. And so happen the customer they thought is their security personnel. My important document was wasted and with the xvvz manager handled??? Is like insane??? For no reason I order a two day delivery document service for $30, and they took it but bring it back because no one is at home? This is ridiculous. I said, "You said left an info notice to ask the recipient to pick up at UPS store" [mostly common sense] But they did not and took my money and bring it back to me after three days. THIS IS INSANE. I am not creating a game like GOD to let them carry people privacy and delay for three days and took my $30 and said no one pick up and without issuing an info notice to the recipient.

I called and complaint on this incident, all they do is kept on creating lies against me for no reason. LIKE A crazy person. This kind of working ethics is not allowed in USA or other world known country. This is cheating for a job and damage community services. A JOKE. I met over at least 30 UPS store in twenty years. Another call to a customer service supervisor revealed that my shipment was still on the truck waiting to be accepted at the UPS shipping facility. The same customer service rep explained that the tracking information was inaccurate - but the guidance provided by customer service was to continue to use the tracking info for status. Really? Here’s what concerns me about this experience:

    1) UPS did not deliver as advertised based on tracking details.
    2) UPS customer service admitted that the tracking info was incorrect.

    3) Despite the numerous updates made on tracking the UPS customer service Supervisor admitted my delivery was never accepted into the UPS facility responsible for local delivery.

    1) Package coming from the EU, on the tracker they said Thursday, so I asked to work from home so I can be present during the delivery. Because apparently they started to leave the package to the doorstep ONLY since Covid... yeah... right... good excuse... So I was waiting, at 9AM the tracker said, out for delivery... then at 5 pm it changed to the next day...

Furious I called, I had a very nice lady (the only time) and I asked her to NOT leave the package on the doorstep, which she replied that the delivery man needs to leave a note to reprogram the delivery and change the address (if necessary). I said ok and thanked her (I also ask to leave an official complaint), the next day I received a message while I was at work, saying that my package was delivered... It was a 3.400$ equipment left on my doorstep outside where anybody could see it. When I came home, no package... Thank God a nice neighbour took my package to protect it. This is outrageous and using the Covid as an excuse to leave package on the doorstep... this is what this company do for years!

    2) Other experience with a 4.700$ computer, they changed the delivery date, I called them to not let it on the front door, and the woman on the phone was acting a little bit like an ** (sorry) saying that it's not possible (blah blah blah) and that I should had left a note on my door (which was not possible, too late) and said that I should have known that... Like this is normal...

I am a recent college graduate trying to make ends meet by reselling products online. UPS' insurance claims is by far the most horrendous experience I've ever lived through and have been proven UPS truly does not care about their customers. I shipped out a like-new condition Microsoft Surface that's worth $4000 to an eBay customer. At the UPS store with my supplies and theirs, I spent over an hour properly packing this expensive computer and even had the kind assistance of the UPS workers to help me.

I ensure that there was absolutely no way this package could have been damaged: Styrofoam at least 5-inches thick all around, an absurd amount of bubble wrap and other fillers, a thick carboard box UPS provided me, and a nice amount of packing tape. When finished, the workers noticed the amount of time and detail to pack this perfectly and there was no area where you could push in the box and it didn't feel firm. I knew, and the UPS employees knew, I did an excellent job. I've been reselling products for years and have NEVER had an issue.

Upon delivery, my customer messages me letting me know that the cardboard box has a massive hole in it, as if it was impaled by a metal tube/sword/something! The UPS driver reported it was damaged upon arrival and they both took pictures of being able to see my computer screen cracked and ruined!! A $4000 touch screen computer having its screen shattered and sides dented. Unbelievable!!

UPS does not care about you nor will they provide compensation for the additional insurance you paid. They are awful, inconsiderate, and I advise you not to do business with them. FedEx and USPS is superior and would never screw you over as UPS would. This disaster happened two months ago and I have yet to receive any kind of compensation. I paid over $2000 worth of insurance (and I wish I would have done more) in the worst case that this delivery goes bad. Well it did.

After waiting 6 weeks for a response from UPS' claim department, I was notified from the UPS store I shipped it from that the claim was rejected due to me being at fault for not packing it better. Either someone highly incompetent is responsible for the claim decision or their whole insurance segment is a scam. I had 0 flaws with my packing, had reassurance from the UPS workers, and the fact that there was a giant circular hole resulting from some kind impalement from their distribution warehouse which is not my fault completely deems UPS 100% responsible for their negligence of taking care of my package's transit to the customer and a complete lack of respect and care for their customers. I haven't even received the $180 spent for shipping. Nothing at all.

Please consider this advice as us being in a pandemic, at a time where hundreds of millions have been greatly affected for the worst have been fooled to believe we could trust UPS to do the right thing and stand by their mission statement of "offering excellence and value in all that we do." If they're not willing to do the right thing now and are willing to scam me and millions of other Americans when they have over $74 billion USD in revenue, what makes you think they will change? Save yourself and prevent your mental health from plummeting to an abyss. UPS is not for anyone.

0 stars! I placed a single online order using UPS as the shipper. This is the first time I have had to do so. Customer service was on it every step of the way. Emailing me instructions, payment details and arrival times. Even verifying the address and my availability. Until delivery. I had to chase the driver out the door to give him the COD payment they requested. I now find out 2 months later the driver never remitted my payment. Rather than contact me by phone, email or text ups sat on my invoice without saying a word and sent it to collections. Resulting in my being sent a lovely collections notice. A company that can email me to make sure I'm avalible for drop off can't email me to track lost payment.

Do not use ups. I could forgive the delays and the billing confusion. But not the deliberate lack of communication. We could have settled this 8 weeks ago. Instead I now have to risk giving credit info to some scummy collection agent. Any future shipping that involves UPS will simply result in my cancellation of the order. And their customer service has been no help. First telling me that the collection was a mistake and I was paid in full. Then telling me to pay the collection agent. Do not use this service. They are a risk to your credit and will send you to collections without notice.

This company is the worst delivery company. I order stuff online all the time and every time they send my package through UPS I have a delivery issue. I live in an apartment above a business so I can't use the my choice to give them instructions I have to call them. First the driver has no idea where to go when I told them that the apartments was around the back of the building. Then even after he found the apartments he still wouldn't leave the package on the porch like I asked even though no signature was needed. He told his manager that he didn't feel comfortable leaving it because people were watching him. The people he is referring to is a tire shop next door that is owned by a ** man and had several other ** people working out there. I bet if it was a bunch of ** people out there he would of followed instructions and left the package where I said to leave it.

I signed up for their choice program because they promised to give me a delivery window but they took my info and still gave me the same all day window. Then, the driver who just left refused to wear a mask. I wore one to protect him and asked him several times to put one on but he said he was too hot-eventually because I would not let it go. To me saying that it was delivered to me when it was not is basically a lie. The Mail Room does deliver it a day later and if UPS did not send the delivery email until it was really delivered, I would not mind that for some extremely odd reason they delivered it to a Mail Room.

The last few weeks I’ve been planning this move from NYC to Dallas. Y’all know me! I’m a researcher by nature. So after careful research I found the the most affordable way to move was to ship what I was keeping (clothes, shoes, accessories, and sentimental things) through UPS. Since it’s UPS , a well known company with a high standard for quality service I trusted this option. After shipping my belongings I paid a total of $1098 ($54 of which was supposed to be refunded two weeks ago and has yet to be refunded).

When my boxes arrived in Dallas the condition they were in was completely unacceptable. Boxes completely torn, dropped the the middle of the mail room with my personal belongings hanging out for anyone to see it take if they pleased. After reaching out to UPS countless times, speaking with countless reps, being placed on hold, transferred, and eventually disconnected at least 5 times I reached out via facebook hoping the basic standard of customer service would be upheld. I was sadly mistaken.

Apparently, due to Coronavirus they aren’t refunding shipping charges. Basically, this MAJOR companies that is probably worth BILLIONS can’t refund me (a NYC resident living off of an educator salary during the same pandemic) my $1000 for horrible and blasphemous service I received. I just seems odd to me that the chose a time like this, when individuals like myself are losing family members and loved left and right, Stressed with the ever changing pandemic (especially those of us who live in NYC) to take advantage of and essential rob customers who trust their service and reputation. I guess this is just another example of the little man getting the short end of the stick. Moving forward, I’ll be looking to businesses who can offer better service for my hard earned dollar.

UPS delivered ok until our package got to the Chelmsford Ma shipping center at which time we kept being told it would arrive in one more business day.. This went on for a week at which point UPS tells us (after multiple calls and emails throughout the whole week) that our package mysteriously vanished and only the box was left. Now if I was a naive person I may believe a guitar could vanish out of nowhere but I'm not so I look for the most obvious answer.. UPS must hire thieves.

Hopefully their sticky fingered employees are worth the loss of paying customers and large contracts from corporate companies as I made sure to call the company that shipped our order and they informed me this isn't the first time a guitar they shipped through UPS has mysteriously vanished. The company will be cutting their contract with UPS and reshipping our order through FEDEX.. Honestly snail mail would be safer to use than these irresponsible thieves.

It has literally been sunny every single day and there are no emergencies in this area. To further exacerbate the problem I called the main UPS number and they said someone from the local facility would call me back. This happened twice and I did not receive a call back.

Last delivery attempt was 5/22 and on 5/26 requested the package to be left at a UPS store (received email confirmation). No communication from them, had to call the UPS store who told me to call UPS general and give a number. This was on 6/1 and I was told they would find the package and have it delivered to the store (in reality it was being shipped back to TX) on 6/5 I received an email that the package was at the UPS Store to be picked up. Went and of course package was not there, third call to UPS and they did not tell me that the package was already in TX - told me I could file an inquiry and an email would be sent (never got an email) and had to call back.

Finally spoke to a representative in the Mpls department who basically said because they have so many packages, with the riots they couldn't keep track of all packages. The issue is that I received communication that showed that the package was OK and received - all that was needed is communication that there was a problem and I would've dealt with it.

Even though I have searched the access point through internet then I go to the access point at 7.15 PM the peoples over there they said they don’t have any information and maybe the driver has the items. This is so unprofessional. If they can’t deliver they have to keep the item at their access point. Even if it’s happens to FedEx, they will write the information on the InfoNotice when exactly they will attempted for redelivery. Also if they can't reach you you can collect the package from the local pickup point.

So since Friday June 5th I have been lied to repeatedly by 4 different customer service reps, I am also a UPS My Choice member and have come to understand that this is also a very unreliable scam. So friday there was a delay in 7 packages I was supposed to receive delays are understandable but I called to explore my options being my orders were for business and need real information to serve my customers when I called I was told I could go on my choice and request a pickup and get it that day I was very happy, so I spent a couple hours trying to figure out how on their app. Once I did it I gave it some time and called to find out when I can pick up my package to only find out the rep I spoke to misled me and in no way could I pick up my package until Monday.

I was irate and spoke to someone else who ensured if I cancelled the pick up they would be delivered on Saturday so again taking their word I did so and as they said my packages were loaded on the truck for delivery and I was able to track the truck literally one street over from my residence but no delivery came. I spoke to another customer service rep who told me it should have came and it will so for the last 5 days it's been the same exact thing. I follow the delivery. It never gets made.

I no longer have access to the map on my choice most likely to my complaints but it gets better. I ended up realizing the fact that they are incapable of delivering my items so I will go back to self pickup. Being early in the day I figured it could get done so once again I contacted the most uninformed group of customer service reps or they are just deceitful but either way he actualy contacted the Windsor Locks CT customer center and made the requests for me then ensured I would be able to pick them up in an hour. I was like great and even though I've dealt with a lot as long as I will get my customers there packages it will be alright.

So I show up there 2 hours later and look like a fool and get told I won't be able to get my packages until friday 3 days later I was fuming but what could I do besides call a supervisor. So that's what I did and they did not care offered absolutley no solution except promised me they would get it ready for pickup on Thursday instead of Friday. Well guess what. Another blatant lie. No packages yet and now I can't even get an answer as to when.

I understand we are in some trying times and I would of understood the delays what I can't understand is the blatant lies by 4 customer service reps and one supervisor. I am a business owner and I would never provide that type of service. They claimed weather or emergency was reason but to anybody who knows that is a cop out. Emergencies are unexpected. No way for 6 days in a row an unexpected emergency happens on a truck that lands one street over every day. Their deliberate misinformation and false promises has made it clear that they are not in practice of good business and I will do my absolute best to never use them again. I'm sure many people have had great experience with them as I have up until now and it's because I never had to contact customer service once you do you will feel the same as me.

From there on they tried to deliver it 3x to the same un-deliverable address! Are they stupid?! If UPS can see the business moved, why go back 2 more times? I'm sure the business owner left his new address on the door! UPS TRIES absolutely NOTHING to find the receiver, who moved inside the same zip-code! I contacted the UPS agent who packed and shipped my 3 pound item for $53.97. He says there is nothing he can do and "You are lucky they haven't sent it back yet".

Then I talked to someone at UPS help line (finally got through on their tedious phone system) and gave them the old and new address and tracking#. It was decided to hold the package at the Main UPS site in Tuscon for the receiver to pick it up because for some weird reason UPS "can't" deliver the package to the new address....Seriously, the business owner/receiver didn't change their name, just the address.

I have been in contact almost daily with the receiver to update them on this fiasco. Oh, and try, just try to get in contact with a real person who speaks understandable English. It will take hours of your life with many "dropped calls". Fifteen days later the package is now 4 days "on hold" until the business/receiver decides to pick it up, which I highly doubt they will. (A 21 mile round-trip for the receiver) After 4 days UPS supposedly will send it back to me. I could have driven it myself over there, three times over, all 1050 miles or 17 hours. In my neighborhood near Oakland, CA, UPS has developed a reputation for delivery hijinx. For a number of years, I have been receiving packages and delivery notifications via UPS and most times (90%) I receive an email notification that the package was delivered and signed for. While the package was simply left on the porch while I was at home (I work from home), there was no ringing of the doorbell, and certainly there was no signature. Where I come from, the email telling me that the package was signed for is considered a blatant lie.

A few months ago, I was alerted to a delivery to my home address the next day. The package did not arrive. The following day, I received notice that my package could be picked up the next day at my local Walgreens on the next day, a strange and unexpected twist, to which I dutifully drove on the day following the stated delivery date (at that time it wasn't urgent and I wanted to be sure I did not check too early), only to learn that the package had never arrived at the prescribed (by UPS, not me) Walgreens delivery point despite the UPS email telling me the package had actually been delivered to there!

The Walgreens delivery point clerk informed me that my experience was not uncommon at all, every day there were customer package pickups just like mine; apparently, sometimes the parcels got delivered to the other Walgreens in town and others simply were marked as delivered in the afternoon even though they weren't and then the driver would drop them off at 9 pm or first thing the next morning. Inexplicably, my package was to my residence (no doorbell or signature) the next day, which was 5 days after the original promised delivery date.

This saga of broken promises continues. The last 5 or more UPS deliveries have all been promised "tomorrow between xx a.m. - yy p.m. (generally midmorning to early afternoon)" and this would pass, the delivery would get pushed out to sometime before 9 pm or to "tomorrow..." again, and sometimes it has only been a one day delay and other times it carries on for multiple days. The key thing is that in all these cases, the parcel has made it to the local UPS depot (5 minutes from my house), and it has been indicated as being "out for delivery."

UPS is failing at its sole purpose, which is timely and trustworthy delivery. Given the "Fuel Surcharge" lie that they continue to perpetrate and charge us for, I do not believe anything. UPS says, and I have taken my business to the honest, trustworthy US Post Office or FedEx or the very good and cheaper regional delivery services.

When the boxes arrived in Florida they looked like they had been thrown around without any concern for the contents. All four boxes were damaged. We lost 2/3 of the contents of the boxes due to breakage. We lost irreplaceable memories of my mother due to outright negligence. I can't even begin to tell you the sorrow this company has caused us. So if you plan on shipping something fragile stay far away from UPS.

I paid about $100 to send documents from the US to France in express. Mailed on a Tuesday morning, delivery promised for Thursday by 9pm local time, 2 days later. The documents arrive in France on Thursday early morning. So all is good right? Nope. No delivery on Thursday. Still nothing on Friday. I call the triage center in France, wait 30mn until I can talk to a human being, and I'm told the delivery *may* happen on Tuesday next week. 5 days delay for an express delivery! Complete rip-off. I will never use UPS again. Completely unreliable.

Been ordering 2 stuff from Apple website. One came on time with FedEx within 3 days, as planned on the tracking. The other one has been sent via UPS, and it’s now 10 days without a single hope of it moving from the warehouse. It keeps getting scanned every morning « parcel moving to destination » but I really feel like it means « parcel on a treadmill at the warehouse, currently moving but not moving in the same time » LOL. Customer service inexistent, no answers. Kinda frustrating since the parcel is something like 9 km from home.

Amazon and FedEx seem to deliver in time, I received everything I ordered in the delays. I know that period is hard for everyone but we are all expecting staff to work from home, medical devices, AC systems, and other. What I disrespect is not the delays, it’s the lack of listening, willing to find solution and, above all, lying on tracking experience. The tracking system has become a total festival of random dates and scanned hours.

When you are required to input the tracking number for everything customer service related and the system gives you an update it ends the call. The problem is the update, the package was due in a few days ago by their own tracking information. Getting an agent on the phone to explain why it shows a delivery date of days already passed is near impossible. The phone service they use is as terrible as their service. This is the 3rd delivery in a row with the same issues. They show tracking information for a Friday and then Tuesday say it's in transit....USPS is better organized and responsive than UPS. Even after we put in the claim that the driver put "met customer man" as his proof of delivery. C'mon, at least talk to the driver! We called customer service, which is in India. All three package deliveries were the same. Tried calling... They want you to use the virtual assistant... What a joke that is, never got to a real person. It always told me they were unavailable. Worst experience. I would like to tell you my bad experience on 5/1/20. Physician order for a specimen for company that had to go out that day. I called on 5/1/20 at 3:20pm. Spoke with a gentlemen from UPS about pickup on this specimen. He knew right away that the lab and company that this specimen had to go out today. He gave me the times between 3:30pm-5:00pm. About 4:07 pm a young lady from UPS said there would be no way the driver would be there at 5pm. So she said the driver would come after 5pm and would I be around. I replied yes. So I waited with no call or driver coming. I called back being worried that this lab could not sit.

So I spoke with a young female lady with a heavy accent at 6:44pm explaining there was no one to pick up my specimen. So she was all confused had the wrong name for my phone and specimen. She had my roommate name. I asked her, "How did you get that name?" And I told her that was my roommate name. So she said, "Let me check my records." She told me that the young man I spoke with at 3:20 pm just put my roommate on there because he did previous transactions so the UPS guy just put his name on it. So she put my correct name on it and put me on hold to speak with a dispatcher. When she came back to the phone she said the dispatcher would call me within hour. At that time it was 7:00pm. So I called her back because no dispatcher had called me.

I called back at 7:16 pm. Spoke with the same lady with the heavy accent and she informed me this time a UPS driver came by my house and attempted pick up. So it would be picked up the next day Saturday. I told her she was not telling the truth because I was sitting on my balcony and no UPS driver came up. Plus she told me the dispatcher would call me within an hour so how could a driver try to attempt to leave it when I just spoke with her and she said the dispatcher would call me in hour. Also asked her since she said the next day on Saturday what time. She just kept saying the morning. So I asked her the 2nd time, "What time in the morning?" And she said with attitude, "Let me look." And she informed me about 9am-12pm on Saturday with bad attitude.

This person does not need to work in customer service. The lady I spoke with at 6:44pm and 7:16pm she is very unprofessional, has a bad attitude, and does not tell the truth. I spoke with a lady at 7:21pm from UPS. I asked her the names of the agents I spoke with. She replied the agent is a colleague of hers and would not disclose her name or ID. Also I had my roommate call UPS back to see if I could speak to a manager. The Asian male who answered the phone put him on hold and put him back in the order to wait for a customer service rep. We never got to talk to a manager each time we called. So the dispatcher ** male calls me 8:41 pm on Friday. Now this is past UPS pick up. And tell me this lame story that the driver attempted to pick up my package at my address but there was no apartment number on the address.

For one the way my address is set up you would come down my block which he didn't because I was also on the balcony. 2nd the tracking that I gave to every agent I spoke with several times repeated the apartment number. So that was a lie. Many dishonest people that I spoke with at UPS that won't even tell the truth.

Also this ** male said he would make sure my package get picked up the next day Saturday from 9am-12pm. Which he never called me on Saturday to see if it was picked up. I called Saturday morning at 9:12 am. Spoke with a lady with accent and she confirmed the lab would be picked up. Never happened. No pick up, and no phone call follow up so I had to take it to the drop off station. What is the sense for a pick up? This is the worst experience I ever had with UPS and this was important because this was a Physician order that was going to a lab for testing and it had to go on that day. I wish I could give zero minus. Some of these people that I spoke with should not be working.

I would give them a lower rating but their drivers are the best of all of them! Just the same I have not met a Canadian that does not literally loathe them! Especially if they order a lot from the US like I do. I had a potential court case with them once after they changed the invoice for a tool I had bought on eBay for $30 to $500 then wanted a hundred and twenty or so in fees. The seller sent me the another copy of the original shipping receipt showing what he had written when he left the place. That was another long winded nightmare to get my package released and duties paid on the 30 dollars I had paid instead of the $500 they made up. Most though would just pay the fee because they are in a hurry and I am sure they know that. I was too but since it was criminal, just on principle I had to fight it. About a week if I remember to get that straightened out.

One time they were charging me two hundred dollars for duties owing on my own stuff that I was getting shipped back to Canada from a show I had in New York. They insisted that I pay before they would deliver it and that they would send me the papers right away so I could apply to get the money back. I asked for her name or some kind of reference and she would not give me anything. The package came, papers never came but by the time I noticed it was too late. Neat trick I thought after all most people these days are as busy as I am.

Another time the day after a shipper dropped off my package and I had paid him they called me demanding payment. I told them I paid the driver. That only took about a half hour online to find a real person. Then another half hour of explaining to her and getting her to find some evidence... which I believe she eventually found. Now of course I have to very clear and keep every record and receipt of theirs on hand in case they try to double dip me or pull some other suspicious activity.

Just today they they sent me a recorded phone message saying they will no longer let the drivers take payment and I had to go to their site to make payment so they can deliver it. Then said to use the 80 digit tracking number and started to read it out. Course I was up a high ladder drinking a beer and hooking up some electrical wires. So had to scramble down hitting repeat on the message until I could find a pen and pile of paper to write it down. The site said I could pay the drivers or pay there online. I opted to pay online because the package has been taking forever and they said they were holding it until I paid.

I paid then when I tried to print the receipt it printed just the page and none of the receipt numbers!!! Another half hour of fighting trying to figure out how to get that receipt printed off. Gave up and took pics with my camera. Of course the receipt pages was three sheets long.... Now I might add I am very versed at dealing online. I have built and operate a half dozen websites, I have over a hundred online accounts and buy most of what I need online at least to the tune of 2k a month anyway.

I even went as far as no longer dealing with one of my favorite US companies because they only shipped UPS. I order thousands of dollars worth of stuff online each year and nothing makes my day more than finding out they don't use UPS!!! My advice is you have a choice make the right one.... but if you live in Canada you likely already know that.

IMO, UPS is scamming their customers into paying for services they cannot provide. What I don't understand about UPS, is that while they claim they cannot offer and service guarantees (Suspension of Service Guarantee, per their website notice), they are still charging for a variety of services: Standard, Expedited, Express, etc. None of that matters, as they are unable to provide delivery times or tracking information.

I have given them the benefit of the doubt for the last 2 shipments arranged between the US and Canada, but as of this morning, the tracking information claims, "Your package has been delayed due to events beyond our control. We're adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible", without any new delivery information (was originally yesterday, then today, then tomorrow, now unknown). UPS - you should be charging flat rates and delivery service is luck of the draw. Then, your customers (tenuous at best), can manage expectations. Shameful performance UPS.

Address was suppose to be 8522 but was put as 5822. UPS allowed shipping anyways. So on 4/17 was the initial package was picked up but wasn't until 4/22 that UPS realized the package couldn't be shipped. Rather than try and rectify the issue by calling the company UPS is now returning the package.

We have imported certain stuff from China through UPS and paid the agreed freight to them in advance. When they picked up all the good in China then asked us Express freight to pay which we did. Now it's been more than 10 days there is no whereabouts of our shipments even paid higher freight. Some of stuff they brought in Canada but asking more $ 7000, more shocking they want us to pay this to 3rd party on their behalf. There is Customer Support Service available. Neither they are delivering nor allowing us to pick our stuff from their warehouses. They are just blackmailers and please advise any legal remedy against them, our approx 400K is lying at stake with them. Regards,

I paid to have 2 packages shipped from Vermont to Quebec 4 days. They charged me $142 CDN import charges without even notifying me, (if I didn't track the packages, I would have never known) and even after that, it took an EXTRA 4 days to receive them, totaling 8. Every time I would consult their web site, "out for delivery" then "unknown information" then out again. They have been taking my stuff for drives in town for 4 days. To top it off, TRY and call them to get through. Good luck. Fed-Ex, Purolator, DHL, I never had any issues like this with them. UPS, NEVER AGAIN!

With six people locked in a house, we watched the front door for a UPS delivery. One came. It was a cutting board recently ordered. A webcam was also ordered. Tracking said it was delivered at the same time as the Cutting Board. It was not. Ebay closed the case because "tracking" said it was delivered. UPS "Customer Service" resources both phone and web redirect you to the same ID Tracking number to tell you it was delivered. The recording also said because of the Pandemic - Lost Package support (telephone support) is not available right now. Too bad so sad.

Ebay thinks I am stealing. UPS is in Hiding. I am out $50 and my wife who is trying to remote teach, and still does not have the webcam to do so. So now I will head to Walmart to buy what I can off the shelf. In my experience, UPS does not have sufficient customer support to responsibly rectify legitimate claims or issues for the services that are being purchased. They are hiding true support portals by limiting or eliminating Customer Interaction with their employees.

The contact telephone number is buried, which doesn't offer any assistance but referral to the website which gives no recourse. The Facebook phone number gives a reference to the website number and option 1, which doesn't work. It ignores your input and times out with a hang up. I know times are tough. I know workload is high. But this is when phone support is needed most. We are people, not numbers. I don't want something for nothing. I just want to know what happened, and someone "somebody" at UPS to care enough to check.

USPS priority mail would have been here faster for a fraction of the cost. What's worse is their tracking says it's on the truck to be delivered, but it never happens. So you wait and wait and nothing. Customer service is worse than garbage. You get the runaround by the multitude of virtual answering machines that don't do anything to resolve the issue. I will be avoiding using UPS for any deliveries going forward.

I packed 2 shipping boxes from NY to MI. The boxes contained a variety of items: clothing, small decorative pieces, shoes, books, etc. Both boxes were packed using bubble wrap, packing materials, etc. Smaller items were placed in cardboard boxes and places in between other items. Boxes were taken to a UPS shipping store to be taped and shipped. Boxes were dropped off on a Saturday and the tracking # indicated delivery to a residential address on Wed, Thur the latest. Wed came and no box arrived. Tracking # provided no information so I contacted the store in NY where they were shipped from. I was told there was no shipping information and call back on Friday which I did. I was told that 1 box was shipped but the second box was still at the store. Not sure why both boxes were not shipped together since I paid for 2 boxes to be shipped to the same address.

Subsequent calls to the UPS store in NY, emails to UPS corporate revealed that: both boxes were not shipped together (1 box sat in the NY UPS store for several days without an explanation to myself, 1 box was shipped to a UPS holding facility in MI (I never requested that)). When the boxes arrived weeks later, they were damaged, opened with multiple items broken and missing. Months later UPS will not reimburse me any shipping charges or insurance which was on these boxes.

During this challenging time when so many companies will struggle to survive, UPS is booming. We should all be so fortune and yet they are still going for a money grab..shame on them! I can understand if they are overwhelmed and need us to be more patient. However, why are they still offering premium service and charging premium fees if they can’t deliver. My package has been on their truck, out for delivery 3 times and still not delivered. They claim on their Covid 19 information page to allow an extra day on express packages if in Alberta or Atlantic Canada. I am in Montreal and maybe 20 km from their depot. I shop a lot online and will no longer buy from companies that insist on using UPS in Canada.

I decided to give them a call and they were very helpful and said my package will be there tomorrow, boy was I wrong I checked the scheduled delivery date and they changed it to the 15th of April (it is now the 7th) due to the virus, which has not affected other postal services in the slightest. I called in and scheduled a package pickup at my residence. I was told by the agent that the driver would bring a label that would be filled out and attached to the package. The driver arrived and would not take the package because it did not have a label. I told him I was told that he would provide one for me to fill out. Driver told me that they do not supply any labels and they do not accept anything handwritten. (The package needed to be at its arrival location next day.) I immediately contacted UPS by phone. I was told sorry, but it was too late to be picked up for next day delivery. The pickup was scheduled for the previous day and that the driver would have a label. For the second time I repeated what the driver had told me about a label. She said she would make sure the driver had a label for me.

Driver arrived this morning and again refused to take my package due to it not having a label and that he did not have any label to attached to the package. It appears that there is a very big issue with procedures. I really suggest that some training be done. I won't use UPS again, it is not worth the stress it caused me and that my package was not delivered on time due to the lack of knowledge of the customer service agents.

I frequently order products from businesses located in the USA and these businesses frequently use UPS for delivery. I am used to paying a combination of import duties and brokerage fees amounting to about $12 to $24. The last package I received came without paperwork and without signature request. After I had taken it into receipt, a brokerage fee of $78 was demanded. Because the package was already in my possession I could not request to broker it myself. I would have been content to continue paying a reasonable brokerage fee, never would have questioned it, but $78 is ridiculous!

The customer service fell on deaf ears and cancelled the claim in the portal before even responding. 3 phone calls repeating myself every time, they waste your time and have no customer service follow through. Called customer support; the agent smart-mouthed and openly disrespectful, and tried to make it seem like it was my fault, because I just didn't understand how what the tracking was saying. I asked for a supervisor, waited 15 minutes, and then got cut off. Turns out it was 6:02 EST, and Customer Support was closed. Agent made no attempt to call me back. I would like to make a complaint regarding UPS account executive ** Edwin. I spoke with Edwin today on March 5th, 2020 and I asked him about the status of the disputed additional handling charges from October, November and December 2019 invoices. Edwin said he no longer had those invoices available and that he doesn't remember any disputed charges. Edwin called me in January asking me to pay $10,000 towards my invoice in which I immediately paid. He said that by the February invoice the 'disputed' additional handling charges will be removed from all 3 months of the invoices. Edwin forgot about our conversation. My regional account manager Carlos ** was aware that Edwin was handling this. Edwin completely forgot about these charges, and acted as if there was no issues at all, and just said my account was payable.

2nd Complaint: Today I received my 26th of February invoice number: **. I was overcharged for tracking numbers: **. I was charged 40KG per item, yet each packaged weighed 5KG, and measured 110 x 79 x 4 cm. The charges for the 2 packages are over $1300AUD. This is a complete error. I told Edwin about this issue, and he simply said the charges were payable. I wasn't happy with his reply and he eventually said that he will open a dispute. According to his previous dispute nothing happened at all, and I wasn't helped, which now leaves us $2000+ at loss and the whole situation is in limbo. I have been a UPS customer for almost 10 years, and I'm completely saddened by this service. I am in the process of opening up a DHL account because of this low quality of service. If you are thinking about opening an account with UPS, don't do it.

I had an envelope that needed to be sent to my son overnight. He is stationed at a military base in North Carolina. UPS posted on the tracking website that they needed the recipient's phone number to deliver the envelope to him. I called to give them his number. I was told that he was no longer at the address listed. I told them that he was indeed still at the military base. Then I was told that the military base had moved. I informed them that the military base had been in the same location for 78 years and houses nearly 45,000 people so I didn't think that was accurate. I requested (actually demanded) a supervisor. After quite the wait, the supervisor informed me that they don't deliver to military bases. This I know is an outright lie.

My only option was to have the envelope sent back to the store it originated from (not even to me directly) and that they were not able to overnight it back to me. Here we are 24 hours later, and it still is at the same place is was last night, just minutes away from my son, but unable to get to him. And they are not able to process a refund. Zero customer service. What happened to worldwide shipping? Military bases in North Carolina are not included? Unbelievable.
