I fell behind with my payments so I reached out to Cambridge Credit Counseling. They were able to consolidate some of my debt. Their help with one payment was good, although I don’t believe they lowered a lot of interest rates. Their team was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them.

We were a little financially overwhelmed so we decided to connect with Cambridge. I knew what needed to be done before we've got into trouble. And then we ran into a point of problems for a few years and now we're back good again. They have helped us and were able to consolidate all credits and get interests lowered. Overall, it was very easy to navigate and I always felt that all I needed to do is pick up the phone to get help. It was a good experience.

I tried to seek assistance from the bank to consolidate my bills before contacting Cambridge. And when I'm finally with Cambridge, I was hesitant when I first started the program. I called panicking and they were trying to calm me down. And ever since that one occurrence, they have been smooth sailing. They were all godsend. I loved working with Cambridge! I first heard about them through one of those counseling wellness programs that I have through work. I started the program through BNY Mellon when I worked there. Unfortunately, I got laid off after, and I started working with JLL. I was going through financial hardship and wanted help both for my dog and cat. It sounds funny, but it added up along with my moving expenses all at once and I had to use my credit card. Bills got out of hand and I just didn't make enough money. I needed help. I reached out and they helped me a great deal. I had a GAP Visa credit card and it was on 30%. Also, my CareCredit was also really high because that was when I also used it to take care of my dog. I must have saved at least half and got a chance to pay it off early, which was even better to save myself even more interest.

We needed Cambridge Credit to consolidate some of our credit cards. They absolutely lowered my interest rate. They took care of our needs in a professional manner and I would use them again if I needed to.

I came to Cambridge for a very specific assistance with regards to debt consolidation and lowering the income rate. They were able to lower my interest rate and I was able to pay off credit debt a little bit faster than if I would have done it on my own. Also now, I have a little bit more money in the bank. However, I didn’t realize when we first set this up, they were going to close the credit lines. That must be an industry thing but I wasn’t aware of that and it wasn’t very well explained. Other than that, everything was great. The people that I dealt with were professional, timely, courteous, took care of any request that I had, and really easy to work with.

I've had Cambridge Credit before back in 1998 and they got me out of debt. Then I got back on again. The counselors have been very helpful. They explained what I had to do and what the fees were. They even asked what day of the month to make my payments. It was simple and within two weeks, I was set up. They dealt with our creditors and lowered some interest rate that were 22% down to between 0% and 1.9% so I was really happy with that. They lowered my payment from $600 a month down to $450 a month. In three years I got out of $24,000 debt and it improved my credit rating tremendously. I'm really happy that they got me out of debt. All I had to do was pay on time.

Cambridge who I heard thru the hospital that I worked with helped me get rid of a lot of bills that were behind and I got caught up on. They also taught me to take on the other ones that I have. My experience with them was great. The person that I always talked to was always nice, polite, and friendly.

I’m done with their program. They did a good job. I really didn’t think it was possible to pay all that stuff off in three and a half years and it was cool to do so. Back then, I was a lot younger and I was able to get credit from anybody. But working with Cambridge along the line helped me realize that credit is one of those sensitive things to have. I reached out to Cambridge Credit Counseling to find out if there was a best possible way for me to shut off or stop using my credit card so that I could fully combine my debts and get into some kind of counseling for that, for which they were good. They were definitely able to lower my interest rate. I was in contact with my first agent from Cambridge and everything was going so well and smoothly that I didn't have to call and talk to anybody else. It's been over six years and then it finally happened -- I had my last payment done. I said, "Hallelujah! I got more money in my pocket!"

Cambridge's staff are fabulous and very understanding. We knew we were in trouble and we reached out for help, and once they got all of the information, they just took right on over and kept me apprised of what was going on and what they're doing, and would send emails periodically. It was wonderful. And if need be, they didn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call. It has made life a lot easier, and taken a lot of worry and burden off of our shoulders. If I got in trouble again I would not hesitate to call them and if I know anybody that's in trouble, I'll refer them. They deserve 10 attaboys and then some.

Cambridge is amazing. They got 1 card down to zero percent. It's an amazing program and it forced us to do the right things. We had too much debt and we couldn't live anymore, and then I heard about them through my employee assistance program. The contact was great from the initial one, to anytime I needed a call and reassign money as the bills are going down, and towards the end. The website and the e-mails were very informative and helped us get back on track. I would refer anybody who needs them to call them.

I've used Cambridge Credit Counseling for several years to consolidate my debt and my experience with them was fantastic. Whenever I had gotten off track a couple of times, they were very easy to work with and would get me back on track. I talked to people from Cambridge a couple of times when I was getting the account set up. One of their guys was very helpful. We got it structured and set up, and then I needed to add another account to it. That was very easy to do. I had no problems at all dealing with him. It was a very pleasant experience, overall. It was nice to get that certificate of completion. With Cambridge, I learned about budgeting our money a little better so that we'd be able to meet our monthly bills in a way that I didn’t put the stress on the family.

The problem for us and for a lot of people that I’ve talked to is being able to live within our means and when the economy fluctuates and our income changes, we should prepare for that ahead of time. Staying in sound financial shape is easier than having to catch up and get back in financial shape. The Cambridge Credit website, when we first started out, was very informational. The guy we were working with early on gave us a lot of workbooks, information and pages to fill out to plan for the next couple of years and it really helped out. There was a lot of talk about how to set up our budgets properly and how to manage our budgets and costs. And then we worked out a payment plan and went from there. It’s really convenient. They’re easy to work with and I was very pleased with the outcome. I’d definitely recommend them.

Cambridge was able to lower my interest rates. They made a lot of information available as to how to manage money, and I learned a few things about the dangers of debt. They sent me questionnaires at certain intervals, asking if I had any questions or need any additional help. And they made available a lot of reference material, so it’s not like they just got the process started and forgot about me. They worked with me in all sorts of ways.
