My daughter-in-law had some problems several years ago and went through the extremes with Cambridge Credit Counseling and was very happy with it, so my wife and I tried it... and it worked! We got rid of our major debt problem and hopefully we are going to stay that way. They gave us a monthly report on what was going on and they were very easy to get along with. It was the best get-out-of-debt I've ever experienced.

Cambridge was the best thing that ever happened to me! I was watching CNN and they were talking about credit card debt and everything. It's over five years ago. I was in a stressed state at that time, so it piqued my interest. One of the people in the panel recommended it and gave a phone number. They tremendously helped me. They made you feel like you weren't a bad person for getting yourself into debt. You try to do your best but life just throws you punches that you have to do what you need to do to survive. So Cambridge Credit Counseling made me feel that they supported me and that they cared about me.

I had used Cambridge before and had seen it advertised on television. Plus I knew I wouldn't be able to get anything from the bank so I contacted them. They were great and were able to lower my interest rate. They called me every once in a while just to check and see if I had any other bills I wanted to add... and now they're all paid off! I appreciate what they did for me and have already recommended them.

I was surfing through Line 2 for consolidation of our debt. Cambridge popped up and I was just reading reviews, did a couple of research here and there, checked out the website, and they had pretty good reviews and actually pretty friendly people. My interaction with them was pleasant. Every time I called or asked questions or get updates, they were pretty quick and very informative. They gave me extra information that I needed and information I didn't even ask for, that I didn't know about, they reminded me about it. They were actually pretty good at lowering my interest rate.

I was just graduating college with a lot of student debt and I needed to get rid of some other debts and to find a way to consolidate. I have read some reviews on Cambridge Credit Counseling and contacted them. When I had to contact them like when switching my bank account, they were pleasant. I'd recommend Cambridge Credit to a friend. My experience with them was great.

I went straight to Cambridge Credit Counseling. Everybody was very kind and helped me out and got me a payment plan and helped me with my creditors. So it was good. I don't think they were able to lower my interest rate but I was happy just to be able to get the bill paid off without people harassing me and not have to file bankruptcy. That would have been the next step. I was quite pleased with them. Whenever I had a question, I could call. They answered it. It was a good experience.

I heard about Cambridge through a talk show program on TV and there was a state representative who was talking about debt counseling. You hear all these companies in advertisements but this guy endorsed it. Basically, he said Cambridge is a credible or good company if you have a debt counseling issue. So I wrote it down right away. You can hear anything you want [and they had it], but if somebody that’s a credible person says, “Hey, this company is legit,” then that’s what I’m more into and less into than ads on TV or something for a company.

I heard about Cambridge Credit Counseling from a gentleman on the radio, a finance guy here locally. I really didn't have a whole lot of interaction with them, just the initial. There were times where they'd ask for followup calls but I was handling everything fine myself. They lowered my rates on some of my cards. Cambridge was very helpful.

So I need some help getting the interest rate lowered. And they were able to do that. They were extremely helpful. I have recommended Cambridge to friends.

A friend of mine had previously used Cambridge Credit Counseling for credit card debt so I used them. Every time I talked to them over the phone, they've been very friendly and helpful in terms of coming up with a plan of how to fix my debt. They worked for me to have a lower interest rate and helped me pay off my debt much sooner. I have more money now that my debts are paid off and I've learned life skills in terms of savings from that.

I've used Cambridge Credit Counseling twice. The first time, I had credit card problems, only a lot worse. But then I got into credit card problems again. So I dug up the paperwork that I had at that time and I gave them a call. My experience with them was good. I haven't had any problem at all with them. They lowered my interest rate and working with them gets me out of debt. Other than my mortgage, I'm pretty much debt free.

I got in contact with them because I thought it would just be the easiest way for us to reduce our debt to pay our credit cards off. It's been great so far. We literally just paid our last payment last month. We're just now starting to see a difference. Cambridge was very helpful in helping us get our lives back on track.

I just heard about Cambridge Credit Counselling on the radio and it was back in Michigan. I’m in Tennessee now. They worked well for me. I didn't have any problems with them and they got my interest rate down like they said they would. It took me a while to get it all straightened out, but it’s all straightened out now. They were helpful every time I ever called them, so I didn't have any issues at all. I’d recommend them.

I heard about Cambridge through an article or a show that listed a bunch of credit counselors and for some reason I picked them. They’re really helpful. I can always get someone on the phone. For the first six or eight months someone would call me to check in just to make sure everything was going well and payments were too high. I called them, and they were able to get them lowered. They were super, super low. Like 6 or 7% interest rate. Very, very low, reasonable payment. So it was a really great experience. Have recommended them to people.

I have nothing but really high regards to Cambridge Credit Counseling. I would refer them to everybody, anybody that wants to be responsible for their debt, doesn't want to file bankruptcy, wants to own up. I didn't want to get out of my debt. I'm self-employed. I got myself in a horrible situation. I paid it off and it was great. I only had really one or two interactions with people at the very beginning. We set my payment structure. They handled everything. And I never missed a payment. It always came out of my account and I'm done. Excellent.

I was looking at some of the yellow pages and that was about 4 years ago. I did decide to call Cambridge and look into what they were offering. I thought it would work for me so I got into a program. It kind of boost my faith within myself to know that I can get with one thing and stick with it till the end, so that kind of help me to see that I could do that. And when I got with them, that's what it did for me...to see that I can stay on track with something and stick with it.

I saw an interview on one of the morning stations with the founder or president of Cambridge and I called them, they set up a program for me and it worked very well. The people at Cambridge were very knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful. I had 23 different credit cards and they go into some very high interest rates - 22, 23, 25%. They got them all down to 8, or 9 was the most expensive one.

Cambridge is the greatest place in the world. They are amazing people. They help me four years with my credit cards. I am no longer in debt there and they got my loan and my home mortgage modified. The money that I spent to do this is minimal. I would recommend them to God.

Some financial person had mentioned Cambridge Credit Counseling on the radio. That's why I looked into it. I wanted to do something to get rid of some debt so I went with Cambridge and it was good. They were very helpful and I'm glad that I don't have that debt anymore.

I was sharing some information about my own situation with a friend and they talked about the Cambridge program that they went through. I looked it up and went from there. Since he went through it, it was enough for me to trust. I didn't go to my bank but I did seek some other debt consolidators. It's the trust issue. The people at Cambridge were able to lower my interest rates and stayed on it. I did what they asked me to do as far as paperwork and we got it going. Every month, I was able to get myself through email so I was seeing what was going on. Most definitely would recommend them to a friend.

I had a friend whose wife had heard about Cambridge initially on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She had called and spoke to them and at the time they were thinking about doing it so when he told me about it, I called them and they just seem to be very willing to help and seem to have a pretty good reputation and so we went with them. I can't say enough about that company because they had been so accommodating and anytime you call they're so nice and helpful and I was very pleased with the whole thing. I have recommended them.

Everybody that I have dealt with down at Cambridge Credit Counseling has been excellent. Jennifer had so much patience with me. I would recommend them to a friend because a friend did recommend them to me, and she was very happy with them as well.

I had a friend that was into debt and had gone to Cambridge to consolidate. I called and talked to them, and they contacted me as needed. I didn't often respond like I didn't call them back every time that I needed to but they were always very helpful and encouraging. It was a good experience. We had credit cards that we were just barely paying. We were paying but we would use what we paid each month and we were just stuck. And our medical expenses were increasing. So we needed to get those paid off and we needed a way to do it so we decided to contact Cambridge Credit Counseling. We were with them for three years and had an excellent experience. I have no complaints at all. Any time I needed anything, they took care of it for me. They took a lot of stress off of me. My husband has been very, very ill and so we had medical bills that started piling up. Cambridge jumped right in there. I gave them the information and they immediately took care of it and stopped all the calls and got everything paid. If we have a problem, I would definitely use them again.

My husband researched and looked into some of the different companies that try and help with credit card debt. He heard that Cambridge Credit Counseling was the best. We went straight to them. It's been great! Everything worked really well. They got us out of credit card debt. They worked with all our creditors and got down to where some of them there was no interest and some there was a little bit of interest. But we were able to get that money in the bank every month and they paid it. Then when I was fortunate enough to be able to pay it off, they handled all that and it was awesome!

My dilemma was that I had gotten myself into debt due to family emergencies - in order to save my granddaughter's life. At that time, a lot of us had gotten laid off. It just came out of nowhere. So I still had bills to pay and I contacted them based upon my sister's experience with them. It was very rare that I felt that I needed to contact them because everything was handled in a timely manner. Once I got my creditors set off, I never had any issues at all. And if I did have any questions, I could contact Cambridge. If I talked to a person, they were always very helpful to me. I've told my other sister about them as well. There's quite a few people that while they don't talk really about their personal experiences with their finances, I have made reference to Cambridge to them.

My interactions with the team at Cambridge were really good. They got back to me really quick when I called them, and their answers to my questions were right on so it made me feel comfortable. They were very professional and handled everything really well and advised me of anything if there were any discrepancies in the bills or anything quickly so that I could fix it. They were just really good!!! They were able to lower my interest rate.

I heard about Cambridge through a friend who was also using them at the time. The reason we had gone with them was because I had lost my job. So it made a huge difference in income so we had to make some changes. We went straight to Cambridge and it went very well. We didn’t have any issues with anything. I saw David Ramsey on television and he recommended Cambridge Credit Counseling. I did get a lot of the interest on my credit cards lowered myself. It was just so hard for me to force myself to make the extra payments. That's why I went with the group. That way, I paid a certain amount, paid one instead of six which just made it easier and tough at the same time. It was great working with the team. They had done everything good. I'm glad it's over. They did everything they said they would and done it good.

I was originally signed up with another company through a recommendation of a friend. They ended up being poorly managed and went in bankruptcy and had a class action lawsuit filed against them. It was a horrendous experience. After a year or more of dealing with them almost on a daily basis, I researched on the web and came across Cambridge Credit Counseling and they were highly recommended. So I signed up. I did my first interview because obviously having a bad experience, I had lots of questions and they met a lot of points that weren't met by the other companies. They did it the right way so that alleviated a little of my fears about choosing them. They paid everything to the creditors that they took out of my account. That was a big bonus compared to the other one, considering the other company did not do that. But outside of doing a good job, they communicated really well. Every month, I got a statement that said what was paid into what card and when it was paid and everything was confirmable. The transparency and the confirmations every month was a huge help.

Going back a few years, living in the Greater New Orleans area, we were impacted by Hurricane Katrina... I found Cambridge online and got in touch with them. They were helpful, attentive and compassionate.

A friend of mine told me that she saw Cambridge Credit Counselling either on the Ellen Show or something. At the time I was just choking with credit card debt. Every month I would pay the minimum balance and not have anything left over. The balance wasn't going down and I wasn't having any money so I went to them. I had to pay every month drastically but I just finished the program and it was good! The people at Cambridge were GREAT! I have recommended them to people.

Cambridge Credit Counseling handled everything beautifully. I have no complaints and I would recommend them to anybody. And I'm so glad I got them paid off. I had no problem with them. A guy named Jack was the one that handled all that stuff and he was fantastic.

I was watching the news and Cambridge were on the news as one of the better people to use. I got in contact with them because we had bought a house in 2005 and we put a whole bunch of money into remodeling it and then the economy started to die. We weren't able to recoup our remodel by selling the house. We’re a military family so we were planning on buying something, gaining equity, and then selling and making some money. I had a large credit card balance and wanted to pay it off, but I couldn’t pay it off with what they wanted - on their monthly rates and with the interest going up constantly. My husband had used Cambridge and when I've had the need, I contacted them as well. They were all very helpful, nice and informative. They were able to lower the interest rate on some of the accounts. If the balance due is over a certain amount, they could lower the interest rate. I accomplished what I wanted.

I decided to call Cambridge to seek assistance for my credit card problem. But other than that, in my experience Cambridge has been a professional operation.

They were seriously like the answer to my prayers! From the get go, I had such a positive experience with them. The initial representative, financial advisor, had to have been the best that they had on board because I was sad that I didn’t get to continue working with him. But he just really sat down and helped me evaluate every single one of my expenses, any debt that I had, basically just turned my life around in the most positive way! I cannot speak highly enough about Cambridge because I was devastated, was in a ton of debt, and didn’t know how I was going to get out of it. Cambridge is the place to go to for anybody in any kind of trouble as far credit is concerned because they can help you. I was watching the news and saw them. I know there's a lot of people I hear always taking people's money and a lot of people act like they can do this and really can't and a lot of people were losing their homes and because of propaganda. But I was thinking it is legit if the news was promoting it so I figured I was going to try it. I spoke with them and that was it. I was able to talk to my credit counselor as much as I needed. I worked with Chris (he was assigned to me). He was very good. They were able to lower my interest rate. It took some time but I got out and I'm here. They work with you. I am finished. That's why I tell everybody about Cambridge. I’m very satisfied.

Cambridge is wonderful! My first year was with them. They were very helpful every time I contacted them. I've only dealt with two of them and they both treated me very well. One of the credit cards went crazy and started raising interest. I was up against the wall and my neighbor told me about Cambridge’s program. He said, '”Yeah, we're almost paid off now and we're going to do it again...” and I said, “Really? Does it affect your credit?” He said it doesn't hurt your credit. I've had a really rough time but I never had to file for bankruptcy. If it wasn't for my neighbor I probably would have taken just anybody's word. I wouldn't have to look into it. But I'm glad I called and it all worked out. I didn't want to default it and I'm glad I paid it off! I'm very happy. It was a positive move. If I ever got into a jam again where that would come in handy, I would do it. Hopefully I'd never have to.

I was dealing with some debt and wanted a better management plan. So primarily, it’s credit cards with real, real high, inflated interest rates. I could see that my payments weren’t really putting a dent in the balance. My husband has been downsized at the same time. We went from two incomes down to one income. That’s how I heard of Cambridge. I went straight to Cambridge and talked with credit counselors. They were very kind to me and very helpful. They’re very good. They made it where I was able to pay it off in about 3 years.

Everything was wonderful. That was our second time with Cambridge and they’d done a real good job. I appreciate it.

At first I just thought I’ll see how much Cambridge can knock the interest down or if it’s a gimmick. Then when I found out that it was a pretty good deal, I decided to go with them. It didn’t help me payment-wise. My payment per month was still the same but a lot more went on the interest, and what they charge was real reasonable - 6% or 8% of the payment. Actually my wife was the one that made the move and we were with Cambridge Credit for 5 months. I think I was almost $40,000 in debt. So now I’m finished and I was able to eliminate that. They were able to bring down the interest rates on cards we weren’t able to and whenever I needed I called them or emailed them and I was able to interact with them easily.

I was going through a divorce so I took all the credit card debts and everything like that so I could get the house and stuff like that. I took all the debt and she walked away with nothing. The interactions with the Cambridge team were always positive. I forgot the lady’s name that I first talked to but she actually just called me up after five years to say I’d paid everything off. So she was still there. It was a good experience. They got all the interest rates and all the fees, everything waived, and they used to just take the money right out of my account every month until I paid it off. I always tell everybody about them and how I did it.

My brother told me about Cambridge Credit. They were able to lower my interest rate. I was having problems, definitely. The team at Cambridge was excellent. The young lady who got me started, I couldn’t even afford to pay them their whole fee every month and she lowered that to a point where I could pay it in order for me to get into the program. Cambridge Credit was able to lower my interest rate. Their team was easy to work with and contact. I think it was wonderful. I didn’t call often with a question but if I did, they were helpful to answer it. It was good.

I got out of debt but I just don’t feel like Cambridge helped that much. What they did was get some of the percentages down but not that much. And I don’t know if I would have talked to the credit card companies, maybe I could have actually done that. We need to be paying them $30 to $40 a month every month to be helping me. And then when I paid it off, they paid them too much. They didn’t even pay them the right amount and I had to make all kinds of phone calls to get my money back. One account was $105 over what I needed to pay, so I had to call to get my money back. Because I try not to use credit cards anymore, so there was no use leaving the money on the credit card. They were helpful at a bad time but I guess I expected more.

I went through a divorce and just so that I could get rid of the jerk and have him hurry up and sign the paperwork. Even from jail, they would still entertain his thoughts and ideas of trying to take half of everything I have. So I checked all the credit debt and everything like that and I was trying to make the payments. I couldn’t. I started talking to a lot of friends of mine. They’ve tried all those other places and they had really bad experiences. Sometimes in one month, they would double dip, and I kept asking, “Are you sure it’s not because of the 28-day period or something?” And I just heard a lot of horror stories. I was a little reluctant but I tried Cambridge because nobody else had heard of them or talked to them. I noticed that they were Better Business accredited so I figured I’d give them a try.

I called a couple of my credit cards, threatened them (lol), to see if they would lower my interest rate. It didn’t do no good. It takes a long time to pay off the credit cards. It seems like it never would end. In my research I found out what these other places are doing they were just stopping now your payments that they wouldn’t have any choice but to negotiate. Anyway they ruin your credit. That's why I called Cambridge. I really didn't have much interaction with them at all. There is that one guy I talked to when I signed up for it. I asked him questions, some of the questions that bothered me or I just didn't know and most people don't. They called me one time since I got it paid off and asked me if I had any more credit that I’d like to take care. I do have a second lien note on a house. I’d like to see if I could get help with it at all.

I had been in the hospital. There was somebody in there - I don't know if it was the woman I talked to about my finances (because I had a pretty good hospital bill) that told me about Cambridge. But it’s all paid off now, so I feel good about that. I can’t stress enough what an excellent job Cambridge did for us.

Overall, they’re very helpful and very empathetic of my situation at the time, and they worked with me and with the creditors. I’d definitely recommend Cambridge Credit Counseling.

My sister told me about Cambridge Credit. I’ve heard so many good things about them from her and she had already been in the program for a few months. Working with them has been great. It was easy to talk to them. The time difference is a little bit hard but I was able to work around the time. They were able to lower my interest rate and I was able to get back on my feet. I believe it was on TV, a kind of a talk show and they were talking specifically about debt management, and Cambridge Credit Counseling came up. It was a show for Oprah or something like that or The View. Then it’s like pretty legit so I went online and found them and went on from there. I was paying on a credit card that aren’t getting paid down, paying every month and never seeing it go anywhere, and you know you’re paying a lot of interest on. And my credit was actually pretty good. My credit score now is great, but even then it was good. And so, it doesn’t seem right to be paying 20% interest when you have a good credit. There was just this overall frustration.

I think I first heard of Cambridge through a coworker a few years ago. I was feeling overwhelmed so I just went straight to Cambridge without contacting my bank first. My credit counselor was easy to contact. But then there was really no need to communicate.

I did receive notice from my credit card that they were increasing my interest rate and they were jacking it really high. I have three credit cards. One of them was going to be like over $500 a month. So I called Cambridge and they got it all figured out. It was amazing! It was awesome! I didn’t even talk to my bank. It happened like within a day. They lowered the interest rate. One interest rate was like 29%. They lowered all three of my cards to, I believe, 9%.

Well, at that time, I owed a lot of money. I used to be a millionaire then when things sort of been turned down and I ended up in a big mess. So I paid off a whole lot of bills over the phone. In other words, I made a deal with them. And I paid them off. Then I had a few straggling bills I didn’t know that came in later. And by that time, I didn’t have the income that I used to. I contacted Cambridge, told them my situation, and they went from there, did a wonderful job, and they just took out everyone, whatever I told them to, and that was it. The customer service is excellent, my stress level is reduced tremendously. Only thing I wish is that my original paperwork was in my online account. I only see my monthly statements.

It was a great program. It was honest and it didn’t affect my credit so much compared to some of these other credit companies doing so.

The graciousness of the initial counseling by a person named Dan and walking me through what I needed to do and how he took care of it, nothing but perfection. They got to lower my interest rate, I paid off that debt and I just finished paying it off early. They got me out of a financial quandary that I had gotten myself into and I rethought my life.
