When we saw that TitleMax was close to our house, we went there to see if we had a chance to get a loan, and we did. Their representative was really helpful. When we had questions, she answered them. She was very nice, she took care of us and explained the process to us. We filled the paperwork out, and she put it in the computer to see if it was approved. She then told us how much we would be approved for. Overall, the process was easy and very fast, it took 30 minutes. Our experience was really good.

The people at TitleMax were the friendliest of the lenders in the area and my interactions with the loan processor were really nice and sweet. The process was easy. They got me through it in 30-45 minutes and the loan I got was able to help.

My experience with TitleMax have been the worst. Got a $600.00 title loan and the principal on it never goes away even to the very end of loan. Paid 200.00 month on loan still principal added. My advice: run. Do not get a $600.00 title loan. Ripoff. Paid double the amount of loan. Not worth it. There should be a law from permitting companies like this for taking the advantage of people who desperately need a loan. Go another route. These are thieves at their best to steal money from you. Ruuunnn!

He was in the middle of dealing with a contract and I had somebody that wanted to buy my car. Horrible Loan Tactics... First off they only give you a verbal description of loan terms which in my case was very DECEPTIVE. In this I was told the first payment on loan would be the total interest of loan then all payments needed to be on time and go to principal of loan. What was not described in layman's terms was that the loan renewed every month with a 180% interest which is always the first payment. Everything is electronically done via computer and you have to download and print/save. Do not do business with TitleMax. File complaints with Texas Attorney General.

I borrowed $9000 in April 2016. I have paid over $13,000 and principal balance is only down to $8000. I have made early and extra payments to try and pay down the principal however they put it right back on the balance of the loan with interest. How are you ever supposed to pay this off?? I guess I'm not supposed to pay it off. I'm just supposed to pay them in perpetuity.

They didn't have a fax machine so they asked me for a email for they could send over a paper to the dealership with the payoff amount. That never happened. And then I go to the office on Monday to try to pay them off and they give me the runaround and then they say they're unable to email. If you are desperate enough to get a title loan you are basically screwing yourself. I don't understand how it can be legal to take that much money for a loan, but it just shows how greedy Americans can be. You borrow 1500.00$, already paid over 1200.00$, still owe 1600.00$. It's a legal way to rip people off so if you can avoid doing this you should because you are being ripped off. You're basically paying the principal for 8 months & still owe them what you borrowed! It's crazy that they can legally do that! Avoid it at all cost!
